Before we get rolling here, I want to talk to you guys a bit about the chrome soft and chrome soft x ball from Callaway.
You've heard us talk about this ball a lot this year, and there's a reason why it's because this is the best performing golf ball I've ever played.
Callaway infuse the outer core of the ball with graphene, which allows them to engineer a thinner outer core and a significantly larger inner core.
Graphene is a Nobel Prize winning revolutionary carbon material commonly known as the world's lightest and strongest material.
We just got back from playing in Scotland.
I was amazed at how well this ball performed in the windy conditions there,
especially the trajectory on the lower flight of shots.
You saw the Chromesoft X all over the TV this week as Callaway's
staffer, Zander Shafley was rocking the Chromesoft X ball on his way to a
runner-up finish.
It's unlike anything you've experienced in a golf ball, it's already been proven on tour.
Head to CallawayGolf.com.
Slash Crumbsoft 2018 for the, for more on the ball that changed the ball.
Now let's get to the podcast.
Get the right club.
Be the right club today.
Yes!
That is better than most.
How about him?
That is better than most.
Better than most.
Better than most.
Expect anything different. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the No-Lang-Up podcast, UK British Open, presented
by Her Majesty.
And Kendook.
And Kendook.
Francesco Molinari is your champion golfer of the year, winner of the gold medal.
Are we going to remember this day more for Mololenari winning the open or for big cats run?
I think big cats run. I don't know. I think so too. I mean, yeah. It will be tiger, but Molenari's performance was...
I don't even think it's underrated. I think people do realize how good it was. No bogies on the weekend.
Yeah, it's insane. At no point did it ever feel like he was gonna slip up
and that shot he hit into 17 was,
I mean, that was the shot coming in.
I mean, 16 was downwind, 15 downwind, 18 was downwind.
You just needed to execute the shot on 17.
And then he stepped up in birdie 18 too,
which a lot of guys that needed to did not do down the stretch.
So, which was kind of, I mentioned to you guys,
I was a little, there
was some false drama being built up around that tiger putt when the guy who was two shots
ahead of him was actually closer to the hole. And they're like, you know, this one's really
got to go down for tiger. So like, is Mullen Argon have a stroke from like, from six feet
there? I don't think so. Biggest upset, maybe, and they didn't roll the van deville clip
before Mullen Argon was playing the 18th hole maybe, in that they didn't roll the Van Deville clip before Molinar was playing
the 18th full.
That's true.
I'm surprised they didn't cut in and show Toreco and Tom Lehman just, you know, hamming
it up in front of, you know, just like a blank backdrop instead of showing the action
on the stretch.
We'll get to the broadcast.
We're going to take them, I think, a bit to task for that.
But regarding the big cat, I guess, anything more we need to say about Molinar
He came in super super hot into this for the people out there that are claiming
He was you the your sleeper pick in any way this guy's the sixth ranked player in the world now
I don't I don't know how anyone could be making that making that point
He he just didn't look like he I don't think he missed one shot. No today. I mean like this weekend
Like the worst the worst he probably I remember him playing I guess was on six when he hit two bunkers and
You know got up and down for par on the par five
It is the only time I'm like, oh man, maybe it's falling off every other time
He just ate it was like four footers for par every single other single person put themselves in very difficult positions over the course of the weekend.
He just did not at all.
It was remarkable.
That course was, I thought scores would be way, way lower
than they were.
It played a lot tougher despite it,
the conditions not being that difficult
as far as wind or weather or anything like that.
So yeah, I was surprised to see eight under wind.
I thought a lot lower would, especially
with the benign conditions in the earlier days
But I think with Molinari like you talk all you want about not missing golf shots
But at the end of the day like he made it was like Capka
He made every single eight to twelve footer. They looked at which is like the like the bigger racer, you know
What was the to your first question? What was the last major where Tiger actually really made it run? A real run? Like a real, a real, real run. I don't know. I'm not made into pushing on the spot here.
I'm just curious if how we remember that one.
Was it the drop controversy?
I guess. 13 masters. I mean, the 13 open, he was very much in the think of it.
That's what I was thinking. That's the closest one. He didn't really make a Sunday run necessarily,
but that's the closest, definitely, that we've been to win a major since. I guess it would be, I don't know. The win was just
so out of the sales after 11 and 12 that it didn't really feel like he was gonna. But it, your mind
it was very rough. After 9 I thought he's going to win. Well, and what flipped? I'm trying to think
like, I thought he looked, he looked so dialed dial. I thought he I thought he looked just I mean
His jittery is you know the arguably the best player of all time is going to look like something flip 20 when he made the turn
I feel like stop playing aggressively
Two fairways with irons and I mean it was just I don't know ever since the recoil out of the bunker
He that's when things he but he doubled 11 and boggy 12. Maybe that just took up too much energy.
It might have, maybe that might have broke the fusion.
He wanted that recoil more than he wanted the win.
Which I'm fine with actually, that recoil was at all time
moment, they're talking about people,
they're talking about him pitching outside ways.
There was only 150 yards and he had to clear the lip
and had the helping win and he got it there.
If he had made that put, the kill house might have came down.
Like that might have been the moment.
There was a lot of screaming in this house today.
That was extremely fun.
It was extremely fun.
Yeah.
Yeah, I think Randy, you had a macro question about today.
I'm trying to...
Well, basically, was it more fun or was it more of a let down?
Oh, sure, sure, sure.
Yeah, yeah, sorry.
No, yeah, it was like end of the day kind of what's
your what are you left with like what are you you know hey that was a really fun day
of golfers it you know that was just kind of a letdown.
I think overall fun it's more about kind of the journey getting there than it is the
actual result and the fact that we had all that stuff to entertain of course we wanted
tiger to win like that would have been what the golf story of the, maybe of the last 10 years. Just weird joking. Imagine thinking
back to PGA Tour events this year and how little that matters compared to what happened.
No, not this year, like the last 10 years. I was thinking about, if Tiger would have
gone on to win today, what event matters between the 2008 US opening today?
I think you know what I mean?
Like it just like it races like five years of
their couple of PJ tour golf.
Like Spice first win, the Spice win and Augusta for sure.
Spice win at the John Deere, yeah,
prior to Augusta.
Yeah, sure.
Maybe Michelson win and a Muir field.
Yeah, I think so.
Yeah, I think that that goes in there.
Yeah, point taken.
It's like nothing matters.
Like there have been so many moments where the one I threw out was
Rob winning at farmers for his first win, I think.
And I remember watching that and I was like, oh my gosh,
this is a watershed moment.
This is amazing.
And thinking about that today, they flashed some like
Rob graphic or highlight or something
I was put no yeah, I'm like man
What a like that feels like it was 20 years ago. Yeah
Well, I'm like it just doesn't matter
Yeah, like it's such like an easy like cynical mindset to slip into I think kendook 65 at that players
Yeah, sure that was up there too for me. It's like some of these young guys like I want to get excited about Patrick
Can't lay or I want to get excited about you know whoever but it's like it doesn't matter
The only thing that matters is cat Patrick can't I finished t12. I don't think I saw him in a single shot this week
Well, yeah, there's a lot look there was a lot of
Eight they had to basically keep track of like eight people at every shot eight people or oh no
I like I didn't mean that as mean that as a slight to the broadcast.
I just mean like there was nothing.
Oh yeah, yeah.
He just didn't, he was there.
Yeah, he was there.
I see, I see.
Totally under the radar a whole week.
It's also before the cat teed off today,
I think we all looked at the leaderboard.
We were like, all right, he's only four back,
but there's three guys at nine under.
If there was one guy up there,
I think we may think he has a chance, and he made made the turn and he was in the solo lead in the tournament that that
Is more unlikely than anything that happened today. I think yeah, that's kind of what it almost gets
We feel disappointed, but like this wasn't not supposed to even happen today. It was not supposed to be that excited
You think he knew he was solo lead. I mean, I think he did
Yeah, I think he did say it that's, I think he did it.
I think he did it.
Dude, I don't know.
He hasn't had a lot of reps in this spot.
Like, we only see what we see on TV, right?
So it's different.
Maybe if you're watching them kind of between shots
and does this pre-shot routine change and stuff,
but very, very, very intangible.
Like intangible, it just seemed like something was different.
As soon as he took the lead on it.
Well, I mean, 10 was dead downwind,
and then you turned back to play a leather.
That's true.
Into the wind, he sprayed the shot,
and then he got lucky with his approach,
and donged off somebody's head,
and back into play,
and he made double from a spot,
he shouldn't have made double from it,
worse he should make bokeh from there.
I still can't believe he chipped it on the double green.
From the green?
That was like unconscious.
He cut that up and down though at least.
Yeah, he made a 34.
Oh, and then twer-
That's where Randy takes out his driver.
It kind of bellies a driver down there.
Yeah, I could have used a little bit more cheeky play.
And then 12 was a 500 yard par 4.
Those are the two holes that really were his undoing I guess. But even then if he pars in from there, I don't think I don't I guess yeah if he parsed both of those holes
I guess he wins, but that's a lot to ask. I thought it was I thought it was big or three. Oh, right. I said yeah
Yeah, I thought I was big of Roy to not birdie the last couple holes
Like I think he knew that he didn't deserve to win this tournament
He did the right thing. Yeah, Roy take I think you had that he didn't deserve to win this tournament. He did the right thing.
You ever Rory take?
I think you had a great Rory take.
I think he stunk.
People will probably complain.
They're like, oh, you know, you shot 70, 70.
69, 69, 70, 70.
Yeah, which is great.
That's pretty good.
He's stunk all week.
I felt like he was just low energy, just kind good he's stunk all week like I felt like he
was just low energy just kind of going through the motions all week and then he
makes that eagle putt on Sunday and it's like making the 50 footer for eagle may
have masked it may have masked a couple things yeah yeah it was weird but that was
like his sea plot you know like he was he was he said he was comfortable all week
but he really didn't he didn't get into any sort of rhythm or really didn't
have any momentum going and then all of a sudden he just he's like whoa guys
hey I'm here I think that is more probably indicative of like the broadcast
kind of losing track of what's going on this is the whole tape yeah is that Tommy
Roy and Lance Barrow are the keepers of the tapes and they they only you only see
what they allow you to see and so if all they're gonna show you is Roy missing
putts or Roy missing greens or and they're going to show you is Rory missing putts or Rory missing greens and they're not going to show you know when he sensibly hits it to
the middle of the green or he you know makes a 12 footer for a meaningless par like John just
is your whole your whole context of it. I also think that Rory it's kind of a commentary on how good
Rory is that like when he's not you know when he's he's constantly missing those putts
because he's constantly putting himself
in those positions, that's not a slight
and it's not really a compliment either.
It's just like, hey, he's really,
I thought it was interesting
it's his first runner up in a major.
But I just think it's a commentary on Rory being
like his baseline being so freaking good.
Yeah, yeah, without a doubt.
And I think also he was in what good position going into Saturday and that's the day when
everybody out there was just throwing up red numbers before he even got out in the golf
course.
And he kind of sputtered coming out of the gate Saturday and it did feel like he just
got left behind.
Actually, yeah, again, not even faulting the broadcast.
It was so much to try to keep up with, but it didn't really have a lot of, he was not a
big feature part of the story
They were trying to tell so they would pop in to tell the story what I like when you hit that me that eagle putt on the back nine today on
14 I didn't I didn't know what it was for I don't know it was like tie the lead or whatever it was
You just kind of I don't know what you had like eight guys that were essentially tied for the lead at that point
I think I think at one point we'd kind of said Rory if you could just kind of like recuse yourself, like there's too much other stuff going on here.
Like we can't really, we don't have the energy to keep up with whatever's going on.
We can't really, we don't have the energy to keep up with whatever's going on.
We can't really, we can't really, we can't really, we can't really, we can't really
keep up with whatever's going on.
We can't really, we can't really, we can't really, we can't really, we can't really
keep up with whatever's going on.
We can't really, we can't really keep up with whatever's going on.
We can't really, we can't really keep up with whatever's going on.
We can't really, we can't really keep up with whatever's going on.
We can't really, we can't really keep up with whatever's going on.
We can't really, we can't really keep up with whatever's going on.
We can't really keep up with whatever's going on.
We can't really keep up with whatever's going on.
We can't really keep up with whatever's going on.
We can't really, we can't really keep up with whatever's going on.
We can't really keep up with whatever's going on.
We can't really keep up with whatever's going on. We can't really keep up with whatever's going on. We can't really keep up with whatever's going on. We can't really keep up with whatever's going on. We can't really, we can get skewered if they didn't show every single one of time. Absolutely. That's it's it's beyond. Yeah, we're well past the days of people kind
of arguing like, why do that?
We're going to pass that. It's gone. It's gone. It's gone.
We've passed that.
Rory was the only person to shoot under par.
Each round of the tournament.
That's not a knock on what you just said. It's just a success.
It's just a fact to it.
Can we miss it? Mississippi River, and I think the definitive Rory take is he's a
throw or not a pitcher. I think that I don't think there's a take that sums up his golf game better. Yeah.
I'm gonna have to go to raise my hand like I always do on that one and say that he is one four majors and he is in turn 30.
He's one, one, one.
He's one, one major.
Yeah, there's new evidence. He's coming to life.
One, maybe one and a half.
Okay, they've been asterix place.
Can you explain that?
Yeah, he want it.
Hoi Lake. But surely he won a congressional. That wasn't a major. It was really wet. Well,
surely Kewa. That wasn't a major either. But for all of them.
Valhalla. I'm kind of starting to get to the point where Valhalla and Baltic
Rull were both simulations run by the PGA.
Valhalla might be the studio that the PGA uses to do these simulations.
Like if you look back to 2000, somehow Tigers ball,
like reappearing where it did against Bob May.
Bob May could have been a blatant play to like a lobby to the demographic too.
Like just kind of like fan service for like,
hey, this guy's just like you.
Yeah. Maybe you could win a major. These guys are good. to the demographic too. Like just kind of like fan service for like, hey, this guy's just like you.
Maybe you could win a major.
These guys are good.
I think for all of the Rory, you want to move on
from the last of occasions.
You guys got your time.
The classification that come into, you know,
he's not, he has to play a course that's soft.
Like this was about his firm of a golf course
as you get, and that he doesn't play well in the wind.
They was a very, very windy day and he showed out today.
He finished a bit disappointed there.
I thought he, I mean, we needed a birdie there on 18,
but I think it kind of dispelled for this firm to get runner-up in an event where
you don't have a huge advantage by being able to bomb the driver.
And it playing as this firm and the leaderboard was stacked from long hitters,
short hitters, and for him to have gotten runner-up in this event, I think.
I'm impressive.
I'm going to go out on the limb with you and say that Rory McRoy is a good golfer.
Yeah.
It's a safe place for us.
I hope that doesn't ostracize me from Randy and Tron.
No, I mean, I think he's a really, really, really good thrower.
Like he's one of the best throwers to him.
He's got the best arm in the game.
Yeah.
So what do you guys saying that he should be like a long drive guy or something?
No, no, he just doesn't necessarily always know where the ball's going.
Like, hey, when when it clicks it clicks
I think he's still unlocking certain things in his toolbox. Yeah, but you know, he's not Greg Maddox
He doesn't he's not he doesn't have that level of precision speaking of Greg Maddox. He shot 76 today. Yeah
Yeah, that's the elephant in the room. Yeah, I think you should have to apologize
Yeah, what do I have to apologize? I think you should have to apologize to Greller first and foremost.
Okay. What am I? I don't know. I just it was just such a bad day for me.
Oh, it was somebody needs to apologize for something. That's how I feel.
There's one guy that doesn't need to apologize, which is the the Turkish style haircut guy in
Kurnusti. That guy killed it. I think under armor first of all, I should apologize to everybody.
Because that was a bad outfit.
It was bad hats.
That doesn't find out.
Let's move past that.
Like, the hat was bad.
There was much more offensive things in the outfit.
I think that was the...
Well, the most offensive things were the
shit that Nike tried at every moment.
That was bad.
Yeah. I think that was the most disappointing
I've ever been around from speed.
Yeah, that was today. It's hard to square the facts that like he's a Hall of Fame generational golfer who's 24 years old and
Like legitimately this happens. He might like sting
You're right. It is very hard to square that I wonder why that's so hard to square
How about this new Mike Weir like takeaway?
It seems to be worth it.
Where was it for him?
You know what else does that say?
Listen, Ricky does that.
It might be, you know, and mentally it might be a me problem,
but I crowned him the master's champ after 36 holes.
I crown him the open champ after 54 holes.
He gets squirrely.
Like it's not good.
That's where I think the Greg Maddix comparison comparison like that stuff didn't happen to Greg Maddox
Right, you know he didn't give up a bunch of walks or a bunch of homers like he will always battle
Even if he didn't have a stop Molinari might be on the cusp of his Greg Maddox period right now
Molinari might be like Tim Wakefield. How old is Molinari? I could look this up
I don't even know how and he strikes me as like
graduations you're now just in rose like you guys
you got your majors great careers i was terrified that that just in
rose is going to win today i was quite afraid that was a legit
concern what he seems he's a class act what would look it's just very he's very
much a class act
uh... it's just look we've been this is well-worn territory on this podcast
there's absolutely no reason to dislike him
He is an absolute top bloke from every account. I just most account. There's a few
Yeah, okay, I just I'm just not into it. I don't know what it is. I don't like the the fist
I don't like the the feet planted back straight fist pump I think that's a bad look
I just said the whole thing is just I'm just I'm not into it there's no reason for
it to me problem on subscribe yeah part of it is is you under like the
Olympics so yeah it's like the best swing in the history of the world yeah you
should you should win more oh I mean he's I mean, well, he wins a lot. Well, there's like three really good
years. There's like three players. I would say Dustin, Spieth and Rose who should probably never lose a tournament that they play.
Sprinkle in a win from leash everyone's in a while. Sure.
Sweet, do you want to apologize for that now or should we wait? Yeah, I mean he's made. Yeah, yeah, I apologize to everybody he's made the cut in 10
majors in a row now, I think.
So I'm sorry guys.
Thank you.
That's big of you.
Apology accepted.
Is he getting complacent?
I don't want to say that we, that I got a little too excited
to admit that when he was about four under on the front
on Thursday, but I may have said the words out loud.
After he wins, let's make sure we get the towel from Maddie
and have it framed in the killhouse.
So I might have got a bit too excited.
So question, if there were a playoff today,
I think that's the correct grammar.
Were there was a playoff, were a playoff?
Was a playoff.
There would have been.
Would have been a playoff.
Yeah.
Hypothetically.
What's there?
There were eight guys in the playoff?
Would they have sent them out in two groups or would they have done it like you shoot out two four balls?
I think that stinks. What are you talking about? You want to all play eight at once? Yeah, that would be awesome.
I think that would be sweet. I think that they should make them team up and play all three shots.
They should have settled the tie with a game of shop makers.
They should have settled the tie with the game of shop makers. The car is the two on two.
Would be the best four hole playoff.
Like it has been the best four hole playoff.
15 through 18 would be such a great playoff.
And we had it last two versions.
What'd you guys think of car D&C?
I'm in.
I thought it was a fantastic play.
Yeah, I thought it was great.
You know, I like to call it car nasty.
Why?
Dude, everybody, did you
tweet that or something? Everybody was using that the whole week. I think he fed it
to Nike. They put it on the bottom of the shoes. Yeah, he fed it to DM it to Faldon. Faldon
was saying it. It's disgusting. How good was the number three today? Oh, downwind. That's
what that was. I think the playoffs should have been they just played number three four times
from four different T-boxes. They could have played number three 18 times, so that would have been happy.
The course setup was, I was worried going into it that the balls running out so far, the
guys were going to be able to flip wedges from any angle and be able to hold the greens
because the greens were soft.
But where they put the pins, tucked behind bunkers that had downslips on the backside of
it, you had to honestly position yourself the back side of it. You had to, honestly, position yourself
better than any event that I can remember to be on the right side of the fairways. And
you had to play for so many center of the greens. Tiger got heat for playing, laying back
so far in a lot of places and hitting a long irons to the middle of the green. But in a
lot of those situations, that was kind of the only play. A lot of pins you just couldn't
get to, whether you had eight iron in your hand or four iron in your hand. So his strategy was to avoid fairway bunkers at all costs
and make a ton of bars and sprinkle in birdies when he could. So his strategy was good
and I thought the course just played out so perfectly. It's just such a shame that
the best players in the world assemble one time per year to play like a real tough fun
links layout. It sucks. I wish it was way more often and these be a wgc in Scotland or something the week before the open get guys to play it give me more
links golf more than once a year with the best players in the world I know the
European tour plays it more than one week but you don't get to see DJ and all
those guys play it except for one week a year look I listen
listen man you know they should make the don Dunhill links at WGC. Yeah, absolutely.
JP McManus and Dermott Desmond can underwrite it.
Yeah, that'd be great.
But I mean, a lot of flaws.
Guys, you know what, I don't want to move on too quickly, but I am pumped for Bel Rive.
Let me tell you.
Oh, yeah.
I mean, major season kind of did come to a close.
Where does it next year at this time? This will be the end mean major season kind of did come to a close. How weird is it next year at this time?
This will be the end of major season.
I kind of feel like I was excited about major season.
Moving to May, but I don't know.
What, what do you guys think of Kizner?
I mean, he was really solid and really good.
I'm a little wobbly today.
Yeah, I mean, that's gonna happen when 20 mile an hour wins.
Like if you're a little bit off,
you're gonna get exposed a little bit. Little wob. Probably but he played the back nine and one under day two
I think that's
Something to be said for that. I think he lost a tournament on Friday on 18
I can't believe he went for the green out of the
Fescue
That was kind of silly he put six in play where you know you chip down the fairway
You got a wedge, you know, maybe you get up and down at worst case, you make five.
That was probably the most bizarre decision making.
I saw this week.
But he redeemed himself in the interview by saying,
I didn't come here to lay up.
Yeah.
But you probably should have laid up.
If we're being honest.
Shout out to Kusher.
He's right there.
T9.
Kevin Chappell. I. Kevin Chappell.
I love Kevin Chappell.
I was rooting for him.
I think Ricky was low man in the frat house this week,
today in the final round.
The mad real, the mad real world house.
The mad real world house.
It'd be again, we've got.
Oh, that's cool.
You know, that's great.
Can we wait for him?
I, you know, there's been a lot of talk of apologizing.
I do, you know, I think I'm big enough to extend an olive branch to Randy and say hey we got on you a little
bit when we looked like Ricky was gonna win. Things played out pretty much exactly how you
had predicted that they would so I just want to not pretty much. I just want to give a little
tip of a cap to to Randy on that one so thanks Randy we'll see you at Bel Rive I'm sure
all the clarification put out. Thank you DJ. is that no point did it feel like Ricky was gonna win
Of course we did get every single birdie. We did give Randy a bit of a bit of jabbing
But I didn't feel different than any other week. Yeah, that's his whole point the course set up so well for him
He got off to a good start. I I legit thought he was gonna be I thought he was gonna be up there
I was fooled by it again.
Like I'll be the first to admit
that I hookwined in sync or this week.
I thought this was his week.
Well, listen, I appreciate that apology.
It's $7,600 to start.
He was very much in it after $30,000.
Sure, sure.
Oh, definitely in it.
I didn't like necessarily think this week
felt different in any way.
Oh, it never does, but they don't know that.
Can we, I think it's time. can we talk about Fleetwood? Yeah.
That was probably the biggest disappointment for me this weekend. I thought he was in position
A, he was striping at his playing well, and just a total non factor on the weekend.
He played his best round of the week in the hardest condo. The hardest day was
Friday, and he got the worst of the draw Friday and shot 65 and then just did not
bring in home this weekend.
It was a bit disappointing.
Sam Lipson is asking, what is the biggest disappointment
of the weekend?
And are you saying Fleetwood, John?
It's tough to look past, Speed, but yeah.
But yeah, Fleetwood, just because he didn't answer
the bell this weekend
I thought I thought this was his time. I think it's just beef. It's time close. Yeah, I think it's it's like this is
Everybody always talks about him kind of being the you know strategic thinking man kind of
Plot your way around and just just kind of outlast everybody else and this was set up
Ideally for him to do that. He started, you
know, started with the lead and yeah, 76 today was was pretty.
And then he was using alignment aids.
Borderline unforgivable. Yeah, of course.
Well, the one shot that I go back to with Speed was the the three wood.
Second shot on six. Yeah, instead of hitting his, you know, like other worldly hybrid or
you're driving iron than he has. Yeah, It was a little bit reckless and that that one cost him pretty badly Randy
Who's your biggest disappointment the weekend?
Speed yeah, I'm right there with it
We didn't talk talk much about Xander Shoffley
He was a our our last hope to to keep the keep the clear jug in the States, but
Are we where do we where do we kind of put Xander amongst the top young players in the game right now?
I mean, I feel like it's kind of people are really hesitant to put them into the superstar categories.
Yeah, I don't know. I don't know what it is.
Yeah, I think it goes back to our earlier take like nothing matters.
It's like Tiger and maybe Phil.
I think it's Tiger Phil's, Spieth and Rory. I think that's it.
And then I think I'm so thankful.
DJ is the number one player in the world and I still don't think people really care.
It's like not like I just can't get excited.
And that's not his fault.
No, it's not.
But it's like it's our own fault.
Yeah.
Is he going to be on the Radar Cup team?
Yes.
Yeah, I think that's.
Is he a lock?
What's he?
I don't know if he's locked for points yet, but I think he's done enough to warrant getting picked.
I think the biggest loser on the warrant getting picked if he's shortly outside
the list.
Biggest loser in the Ryder Cup team thus far this year's got to be Harman, right?
Like this time last year, everybody was talking about him as, you know, a shoe in for the
Ryder Cup in this year.
I don't think he's, you know, I don't think he's gotten one ounce of notice for it.
I thought it was cool.
Zander, I feel like he got, he didn't hit it great
by any stretch today I didn't think, but,
hey, just kept himself in.
Got some of the bunker shots.
The yoga bunker shots that he was hitting.
Why didn't he take relief from the bunker camp?
That was a good idea.
Well, there was a weird explanation.
It sounded like he could have,
but there was some exception exception and so he wasn't
permitted to. To your point, though, I can't figure out if it was just a terrible round
from him or a really good round because that could have easily been a 79. He somehow
harnessed it. Yeah, that's exactly where I'm at. I was impressed. It was really fun
to watch him today. I mean, I watched him. I feel like at the tour championship, I mean, I was kind of pretty
checked out of the tour championship last year. Greenbrire last year, he won, right? And
it was pretty nails down the stretch there. I remember, but I really honestly, like, I'm
definitely to blame as much as anybody on the whole, you know, not putting him up there
with speed and those guys, because I'm like, I just kind of wanted that.
But you can't, yeah, as well.
Yeah, I agree.
They said he was overrated.
Yeah, listen, I agree.
He's probably the most underrated player in the world.
Those guys, yeah, I mean, he's not in that class.
No, not yet.
But I mean, he's not like in the speed class,
even close, but who under 25, would you put above him?
Otherwise.
Bryce is a tough one.
Rom, I guess.
Bryce and Rom.
Yeah.
It's right around in there.
He's not so pure as I don't know if I'd put it in there.
I think Bryce and Bob, I think Bryce is a good cop.
I'm surprised.
I just, not a guy I would tee up to play well
in the UK British up, and he hits it really high.
I was blown away when I watched him in Malaysia,
how high he hit the ball, and I was like, the biggest takeaway. So in the windier conditions like today, I guess it's
not. I guess it's kind of lazy to say like, oh, he's a low ball hitter. He should play
well in links, but that's still that he sticks out to me as a guy that hits it really
high. It's great for the PGA tour style of golf, but he that's really impressive. I thought
what he what he did this week. What was lazy in my mind was raining thinking that he might be Cajun.
What?
He is ethically ambiguous.
I thought for sure he is from Louisiana.
Are you sure he's not?
I, everything I can read is not.
He is not Cajun, no.
But however, however, I don't know if you saw the, how about if you saw Tiger walking
across the, the footbridge, there was a guy with a raging cage and shirt
on right in front of him, which could have been someone from Xander's team.
So, that's the odd for me.
I think if the followers would let us, I think I would love to play in this whole Xander's
cage and sort of sub storyline.
Solid question for you, Ryder Cup related.
Does Tony Fienau have a spot locked up?
It's pretty close, right?
His third top 10 in a major this year.
I mean, where's he?
I haven't looked at the point standings.
I'm sure that'll be a topic of discussion this coming week.
But I mean, I would have a hard time keeping him off
at this point.
I think if you're going to throw that out for the three majors,
and you get so many points for the majors,
and to get all that money in the top 10 for the top 10 finishes. It's, uh, I'd have hard time saying no at this
point. So I don't know. I just feel like Fina, like, Fina, this is such a lazy take, but
Fina is always up there, but that's what we're here for. He's, he's, he's, he has so many
good finishes and I feel like he is never, ever, ever, ever actually in the hunt. Yeah,
but he's ever a threat to win anything.
That makes a really great Ryder Cup player though.
You don't need to get, you just need to be steady.
You need to be a good match play player.
You don't need to be like an absolute great metal player without making triple bogies and
whatnot.
So that is that kind of guy that it's a reason why that's blasphemous to say, but like
Kucher is a pretty successful match play player.
He's like, he's really good at finishing high and he doesn't win a ton of tournaments,
but he beats a lot of people a lot of time in the T-Zone.
The singles record would, yeah, baked it just right.
Well, that's probably a fact.
It's filled.
Is Phil going to be on the Ryder Cup team?
God, I hope so.
Absolutely.
I hope so.
You just threw out of another boomerang with Phil.
Well, he's gonna win the PJ at Bell Reef, so I think that's gonna settle it.
With that, we should lock him.
Yeah.
That's not, is that gonna be him?
Is that a major?
That's a fair point.
So this is, I mean, the people who are, I don't, this hasn't updated.
I don't think after the open yet, but the people who are currently outside
The top eight so obviously, you know, you got to pick four of these guys
web Simpson who's
Look, nobody wants him on the team less than myself, but he is playing extremely well
Phil a 10
Koocher at 11 Brian Harmon at 12 Kevin Nah
Finau
Zander Aaron Wise, Kyle Stanley, Big
Tex, Junior Walker, Kizner, Zach Johnson, and then Tigers way down that list as well.
I got to I feel like Tiger is on the team. Yes, and here's my whole thing with Phil too.
Like if you want Tiger and Xander and Fina, then you're stuck with Phil.
You have one other person. Well, let's think about it logically.
Then you're stuck with Phil you have one other person. Well, let's think about it logically like
Phil being there is gonna make it infinitely more entertaining. Oh, but anybody else you don't have to sell me on this I think it should be 12 captains picks of the most entertaining guys. What right?
So I'm saying it's gonna be an absolute disgrace if Phil isn't picked like you're not wanting Phil to be there
It's the worst take because it's like you okay you want to zander shopfully like that's I could not care less no
offense to him he's a great guy but I could not care less about watching him in
the writer cup look I'm on team Europe so it has to be well you should definitely
be lobbying to take Phil yeah especially on the next
especially on that course where you can't get the drive it straight if it's if
it's not Phil they they should shut it off.
I have a request.
Can we air out Darren Revelle?
Is terrible, terrible take on Eddie Peperule today?
Correct, yes.
Eddie Peperule goes out, possibly shoots one of the rounds
of the tournament, 67, just a triumph of the human spirit.
The round of the day, I believe.
And he was hungover.
And Ravel just skewered him for it.
Did he skewer him?
Or was he just like in shock of it?
No, I think he was like, it was a basically like,
oh, this is so disrespectful to the game.
And like golf's not a good sport, because like,
that's what I gleaned from it.
Oh, I didn't read what Ravel had to say.
But I think you might be reading it.
I think you might be assigning some context to this.
Pepperolls Quote was.
He said the current leader at the clubhouse, the Clarent leader in the clubhouse at the
open, Eddie Pepperoll has admitted that he came to the course today hung over.
You may be projecting.
Pepperolls Quote was, I was a little hung over.
I won't lie.
I had too much to drink last night.
Drank some wine with my coach.
We just drowned our sorrows for half an hour.
Had a good chat with a few people.
I was so frustrated yesterday and today, that today,
I didn't feel like I was in the golf tournament.
As it happens, I shot 67 in a funny game.
And then Eddie just now tweeted, I wasn't that drunk last night.
I remember having a shower and brushing my teeth,
so I'd say I was fine.
What a great day all around for me,
and thank you for the wonderful messages blah blah blah.
Just shout out to Eddie, to finish T6,
that guy was in the wilderness about a year and a half ago
and ranked outside the top 500 in the world
and this is probably gonna put him,
maybe in the top 50, at least sniffing around the top 50
and it couldn't happen to a more entertaining
and more of a fun guy, so a big shout out there.
And I'm gonna stick with my Reveal take
based on his prior golf takes.
Oh, this golf takes a brutal, absolutely brutal.
Speaking of brutal golf takes, Rick Riley's back.
He is.
Speaking Italian and Prescott for this year.
Not good.
What's the most overhyped storyline of the week?
This week.
Mad real world, for sure.
Yeah.
Oh, for sure.
Come on. Yeah, that, for sure. Come on.
Yeah.
That's...
No one got stabbed.
I do think it's disgraceful that, you know, these rivalries just aren't what they used
to be.
You want to tell that story?
Well, just a not...
There was an unnamed columnist that saw a tweet from the open...
The open canazera.
Maybe it was named.
That has a...
The open tweet in one of those stupid ass fake conversations that doesn't sound anything
like the people who are supposedly having it.
On the links, Master George.
On the links, Master George.
And that was like the centerpiece of this column about how the new guard is too cheery
and chubby with each other.
The old guys never want to let that happen.
So I thought that was kind of delightful.
No one really noticed that.
I got posted like on Wednesday.
I don't think Sean Zock was the first one to notice it.
I think that was Saturday, but that was one of the highlights.
We survived a ZJ scare.
That was, that was, look at him.
We may have seen this for a great day.
We may have taken a few years off my life though.
That's all I remember from this week was just debating whether or not we were allowed
dislike ZJ because big fanboy over here, DJ.
You guys are idiots.
Hey, number one, you guys are idiots.
You're like an Ohio State fan who just rides for Ohio State.
Not true.
Hey, like typically my take was bastardized here by the low context media who all I said was hey
I don't like I think Zach I don't know why you guys like he ruins your day like he's
Totally fine. He's by all accounts very nice every time I've dealt with him
He's been absolutely nice delightful put that up against Tron watching him get scared by the pontoon boat
That's his context with the guy, but I just I don't get why he like offends your sensibilities and just ruins like
He's like a threat to your democracy. I don't I don't I don't get it. I don't know
I'm not riding saying he needs to be your favorite player. He's not my favorite player. I just I don't give a shit
Like how do you care so much?
Shit like how do you care so much? You know, DJ
When you deposit that check from Monsanto or big corner whoever
Tomorrow in the bank account. Yeah, I hope you can sleep it absolutely. I can't yeah, I just
I don't I feel sorry for you guys to be honest. Do you approve of Damon Green's bird dance? Yeah, I can't think of anything that I give less of a shit about than this.
Like this riling you guys up and up in your blood pressure so much, it makes me like it.
Like that's, I think it's funny.
I think you get, look, Rania, but you know I don't want to air you out.
You said this on Friday.
You said if you have a problem with Zach Johnson, it's probably more that you have a problem with yourself.
That is true.
And now I'm staring at three blank souls lost
in the wilderness here, picking on this poor guy
for no reason.
Poor guy.
Yeah.
I would see a poor guy.
Just because he's getting cyber bullied by you,
idiots all the time.
No.
I don't cyber bull.
He's cheating nice. First of all, according to what? all the time. No. I don't. I don't. I don't. I'm sorry. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I down to a simplest. I don't want to lose the list. He's a cheesed dick. Listen, that's where they're concerns for me.
I think I hear what you're saying, DJ.
I think as a golfer, he has absolutely
maximized his talent and ability, which all credit to him.
He might be Greg Maddox.
I think he's over-achieved.
Yeah.
You're kidding. But actually, he's over-achieved. Yeah. He's. Yeah. You're going to be.
Actually, he's.
Here comes the boomerangs.
He's Tom Glavin.
He's Tom Glavin.
That's the bet.
Yeah, that's the good one.
Tom Glavin.
There's just some concerns about his persona.
Again, guys, nothing in that.
People he surrounds himself with.
Nothing here.
Am I telling you that he needs to be your favorite player that you need to even root form
Don't care the butt again. All we're talking about is you guys freaking. Oh my god. I can't believe Jack's gonna win
This is the worst thing to ever happen. We so someone needs to
Affiscate Zach Johnson. This is disgusting. If Zach Johnson is three majors like that's not a world that I want to live in
I'm with you, John. I'm he's got six majors. He's won three John Deers. That's true. That's that's not a world that I want to live in. I'm with you, Tron. I'm with you. He's got six majors.
He's won three John Deers.
That's true.
That's, that's why.
You are a disgrace.
You are an absolute disgrace for not, for not guiding for this guy.
Horn out of the cleric job.
Yeah, that was, oh my god.
That's unforgivable.
Unforgivable.
How did you guys even recover from that?
We happened.
Do you know what the obesity statistics are in this country right now?
It's an epitome.
It's because of corn syrup, because we're dumping corn syrup and everything.
Because of what ZJ did in 2015.
Don't you think it's more fun watching golf though, like when you kind of feel...
But this is those emotions.
Guys, for somebody...
No, whether they're...
Oh yeah, for sure.
What I'm saying is that you guys are assigning all of these character things
It just aren't there. There's no there there. You guys want it. You guys want to turn someone else into it
You want to knock Bryson all the time? I think that's I think that's delightful a big Bryson guy
I'm a big Bryson guy too. I don't even disagree
Exactly, but I disagree exactly that's exactly what it is. Yeah, I any sense. Sometimes it's just fun to be irrational. I think that's where yeah
I'm kind of with this. It's like you guys conceding the argument. It's like old-school cat when he turned on
Port when they were staying together at the Ryder Cup when you're and he turned on
Inzex and that was how Roman Zach came back and usually oh my god
It's one of my favorite stories ever
usually oh my god it's one of my favorite stories ever. All right are we ready to move? We talked a bit about NBC I think are you guys ready for this section?
Oh, let's speak like not ready what I think to drink.
Let's be a not let yourself get triggered by something. Are you triggered by what by the coverage
rating? No I'm post triggered. Yeah, that's just fine with it.
Yeah, well, like we can sit here and air him out,
but the baseline is just grace, right?
That's what I thought.
I thought, for NBC, I thought they did a poor job.
Like I would have, I just thought the playthroughs were too many,
poorly done, ill timed.
Tigers playing the 71st hole, and he still has a chance at this point.
He's got to go three three to get in the house.
But anytime you can play equipment that helps you maximize, or minimize your misses, that's
superior equipment.
That is...
Tiger comes up three clubs short.
That was what was going on on the right side of the window.
Is he's in the tailor made commercial talking about the equipment and about minimizing
misses and he flails one in the left side.
But this is not the time to be using this, but I think it's not even the playing
threuse or the over abusive it. I felt like they had a normal amount of other commercial.
That's the thing. The playing threuse was supposed to cut down on the amount of other commercials,
and not only did they not cut down the amount of other commercials. It was the most that I can
remember in Photoshop been ever.
And it seems like the bigger the event, the more commercials they go to, and I get that
they're big money maker.
I understand, for the people on Twitter that are ripping into us for pointing this out,
we understand that you sell commercials to make money.
But it's also the point where I'm getting to the shout out, Calaway.
No, that's aaway supported the playing through though.
Yeah, yeah.
It's to the point though where like I'm motivated to boycott brands that are
advertising on the telecast now.
I still I put way more of the play.
Except for Calaway.
No, not on the playingcast now. I still put way more of the play. Except for Cowell. No, not on the playing through just.
I still put it's, there's a balance just
boycotting doot on.
I don't even know what they do, but.
Fuck doot on.
There's obviously, there's a balance to be met
with keeping people engaged and obviously you need
commercials to fund, you know, everything you do,
the rights you pay for, all that.
But when it gets to the point where it feels abused,
and people were that upset with it,
what's not just us point this out,
the mentions were flooded this week,
people getting way over saturated with commercials.
I mean, soccer doesn't seem to have a problem,
it's the biggest sport in the world.
And the box went what commercial free the last hour,
like the biggest part.
And Martin Slummers needs to start bucking his head.
And the sky model people in the UK are like they get they get one 15 second commercial
every 15 minutes or one 30 second commercial every 15 minutes and they're right back to the action.
Yeah, if sky wanted to start broadcasting in the States, I'd pay for that.
I'd pay 15 20 bucks a month for it.
Oh absolutely. Straight up.
Absolutely. We should just we need to just boot like a feed, I think, and just not have to deal with this anymore.
So yeah, I was upset.
I thought it was, I thought it was, it was definitely
the most frustrating thing in the whole week though,
is when you get the sky feed.
Yeah.
The beginning, you know, like, I think this was just Thursday,
Friday, you get the sky feed,
and they're, they're doing all their stuff behind the scenes,
and they're feeding that to a golf channel.
And then golf channel.
And then golf channel takes over at 830 or 9 or whatever.
And it's like two totally different tournaments and it just crawls to an absolute stop.
You can just see the contrast in what it could be versus what they decide to make it their
own when it becomes their own.
So, yeah, for, well, in just infernist too, we are obviously all over CBS most of the
time that I thought NBC was, it was deserving of pointing out at this, at this juncture
as well.
So I almost just went on autopilot.
Yeah, do CBS was disgrace this?
No, I think it was horrible.
Then you got guys, like, you got a whole field out on the course yesterday and Rose
Affort and Trico over there talking about Zach Johnson's soccer skills.
Or the Matt Real World House.
Yeah, I mean, I know.
Look, I hear what you guys are saying.
But they're also on the air for like 12 hours a day.
Correct.
Oh, it's a damn golf tournament.
Yeah.
I can't disagree at the point of blank.
A huge, huge, huge amount of coverage.
But man, it was definitely, you just lose track of what's
going on, and people pop back up on screen, and like, where is Kevin Chapel?
You lose, lose where that is when there's three commercial breaks in between his, the
shots, and you see him on TV.
That's the thing you can't do, like, if they were doing all this stuff with limited commercial
interruptions, great, cool, I'm learning stuff along the way and all that, you can't do
both.
You can either show the golf and have a bunch of commercials, and sometimes that not even possible or you can have a bunch of commercials and have the pre-produced segments.
Yeah, one of them has to go. Yeah, yeah. The pre-produced segments don't really, I don't think they do it
for the hardcore fan really at all like us sitting here. I don't, there wasn't a memorable pre-produced
segment I didn't think from this year. I think that- Stanisper Athians, you know, steer in the ship,
or you know, feeling like he was leading a rebellion.
That was about as excited as I got.
But-
And then I just vandivelled fatigue, said it.
Oh my God.
They didn't go to it this weekend, which I was very surprised at.
So, who's the player that pops up in one of the most commercials?
Shut up, Daniel Berger.
Yeah, how about that one?
What does PMI even mean, Randy?
It's just disgusting.
It's all disgusting.
Do we want to flip through some Twitter questions?
Sure.
What's the best thing?
Ben Goodman asks, do we say Tiger Choke today or just needed to get back into a process
of contending in nature?
Just deep in the process.
Yeah, I don't, that's not a joke.
No, no way.
I thought, today was as real as it gets
as far as a tiger threat and the actual real excitement.
I mean, yeah, it's maybe it's even better for golf
that we still have, we have even more excitement
for him to tee it up in the next major
and that hasn't fully happened.
I'm really nervous that I kinda had,
always had this romantic idea that the first win
was gonna come at the Masters or the Open.
Yeah.
And now I'm really nervous.
It's gonna come with the PGA.
It's gonna be your nervous that Tigers
gonna win a major.
Yeah, I don't know.
Glory's last shot.
It'll, I don't know.
That would be cool.
It wouldn't be as cool as if he won today.
Or he might win Akron.
Can I talk about that?
He got in, apparently a snuck in now.
It's been updated several times on Twitter from the VC606
is the official World Golf rankings.
No, it's not too, dude.
The Lord's work out there.
But yeah, he is an Accord.
Bank well, McPrendham name.
McPrendham name.
Bank well, McPrendham name says,
should Coocher preemptively be awarded T9 at every major he qualifies for?
That's really funny.
That would open up a lot of time in the broadcast.
Well, that was a lot. I wish they would have done a,
one of those pre-produced segments on the Ghost of Matt Coocher that still wanders around
many of these links courses. After being vaporized last year by speed.
Cooch was major playing up what happened to him. As you should it was
disgusting slow played him. It was gross. Why are you right hard for
coach now? I'm on the record. I just want to make a demand here. Please. Sun Kang made the cut, finished T67.
He should donate his entire paycheck this week to charity.
Why is that?
Because he cheated.
To get into the tournament.
Allegedly.
Allegedly.
According to the shot length volunteer.
Tucker Blankett's ship wants to know should tom lamian
the trap drop
uh... sorry should tom lamian be johnny's replacement
we we we can address that we probably think this is john no
this is johnny millers last major probably seems to be his last year
calling golf and this was the last major that mbc will do
the only major they do it currently so we're calling it probably his last major. Are we maybe I mean? I don't know probably we've had reports on on both sides
There's nothing official yet. Maybe he comes back and does Gus guess spots for he should come back and do the major
I that would be sweet. I mean, I know this is like I
Know this would significantly cut into the revenue of our business, but Johnny should just start a podcast.
Like what?

So I don't know how to worry that they're going to they're going to launch one with with Johnny Miller. Anything else that we missed from from this past week? We're looking at a potential Monday
finish for the Barbosol. So when this goes to press, when this will go to press probably overnight
tonight, there will still not be a Barbosol winner when a lot of you are watching this.
And then on the web, we're looking at a potential 10 man playoff.
Well, more to come as the story develops.
We're monitoring, monitoring the situation.
I got a big, big question for you guys.
It's, who's the forgotten man right now?
Like the forgotten man.
Phil. Phil. I think Phil. I feel like he's at the front of like every one of us. uh... like the for god man fill
i think fill
i felt like he's a
he's a lot of like a
top of the rate of keep up in the spot like
i think dj
yeah i was going to say does that
yeah that was that was among kind of the the big uh...
disappointments of the week by the way it was him missing a cut but
what about jt
jason day maybe the for god man
they've been playing pretty well this year though that's what say i think it might be the forgotten man. Yeah, they at least are playing pretty well this year though, hasn't that's what I'm saying?
I think it might be the forgotten man.
Oh, they least have a low key thick.
He might be he might be primed to he could be of you know primed to win a belt reef.
Speaking of day, perfect track for him.
DJ you had to take that Mollonari is like a he's like a grown up version of Dash day.
Just look, right?
It's just his, yeah, purely nothing else.
He just reminds me of Dash Day.
Is Motsu Yammer forgotten, man?
Oh, I think he's so forgotten though
that he might be back at the forefront.
I like that, Hadecki.
He's been the forgotten man for a while though.
Should CJ Jordan says, should Zander have sent his caddy to 10 the flag on 18.
I feel like that was a missed opportunity.
I really gosh.
I thought that ball was going to release on 18.
Oh, yeah.
The release it would have been a fun little half second there.
We know Phil would have done it.
That's the only one.
What's the shot of the week?
The shot that meant the most was probably Moanari's what two iron that he had into 17
there into the wind.
I mean, a shot he hit on 18 looked like it was sitting down in a little like St. Probably Molenari's what two-wire in the head into 17, into the wind.
I mean, the shot he hit on 18 looked like it was sitting
down in a little like same-dump divot or something too.
That was, I think the shot I'll remember,
the longest is Spice Drive.
On one.
On one yesterday, that's out of it.
That was badass.
That was, yeah.
That was, that was when I thought he was actually
gonna win it, I was like, all right,
that's okay, he's actually taking control of this and gonna absolutely go for it
So what do you got? Anything else in the chamber? No, I'm pretty good. I feel good
Oh the Scottish golf fan who yelled and tigers back
Oh, that was that was disgraceful. Are we are we positive that wasn't an American fan?
He probably was trying on American
Maybe to do some more extreme vett of this report before you roll it out.
I reached out to John Huggin for questions, comment.
What about the, what about him?
What about the baby that was yelling in this?
That was a, listen, that was a pure disgrace.
Well, under third shot on 17.
That might have caught me.
You got to tread lightly.
How good was that shot that he had a, how the mother.
After stepping off five times because of that baby and then he steps up and doesn't open the bunker. Yeah, I took a pic like smiled and laughed
I took a picture of the TV at that moment because that like encapsulated. I think why I could
I mean there's a million reasons why I could never play like competitive golf but that shot right there was like over a dune
Shit lie downhill burned out why all like 40 photographers just like facing right
at you, a baby screen behind you, you can just barely see like a peak of the pin landed on the
downslope, like there's no way to get it close, you know trying to win the biggest tournament of your
life. People pointing their eye back at it. Yeah that was like, that was encapsulated a lot of,
how much better these guys are than everyone else, That's what's keeping you off the PGA tour
Yeah, well that's right
That's why I took a photo so that I could recreate that exact scenario and try and just try to really get that dialed in
All right, I think that's pretty much all we've got on this one. We'll have a couple
We've recorded our Scotland travel episodes, which are also going to come out here in the coming weeks
We're going to need to work on the video edits on this on this part as well.
Neutoris sauce episode will be out on Tuesday.
We're all melvin episode.
Maybe my favorite one yet.
It might be.
It's another really good one.
We're proud of that one.
In the meantime, thanks for all the banter over the weekend.
It was a really, really fun one.
Remember one and we will be back soon.
All right, Pete Cat.
Come.
Cheers.
Back on.
Give it a right club.
Be the right club today.
Yes.
That is better than most.
How about him?
That is better than most.
Better than most. Better than most.
