I'm going to be the right club today.
Yes! That is better than most.
I'm not in.
That is better than most.
Better than most. here DJ Pies here. Hello DJ. Hello late breaking news. The McRib is back. He's back. He's back. I feel
like the cat in his post round after that intro sequence got me all jacked up. I got a grip going.
Oh yeah. So sweet. Got a great trip going. Randy's here as well. I don't know if he's making
a dramatic entrance from the from the green room. I think Cody's going to drop him into the
straight. There he is. He's back in. Okay. Oh, there he is. Oh no, he's back out. Hey, he's back in, okay.
Hello, big Randy.
What's up, fellas?
I am watching the final groups coming in here.
I have no idea how Lucas Herbert got where he did
behind nine green, but it was spectacular.
They're still playing golf.
We've been trying to set up this show for like an hour.
We haven't seen like the last hour of the show,
but we also want to send a shout out to our friends
at Yeti, who are the presenting sponsor of the live show this coming week. We are happy to be partnering
with them. You probably know a lot about them already, but those that don't yet eat a cooler
company from Austin, Texas started back in 2006. The goal to make a cooler built to hold a
bunch of beers, hold ice for days, and hold up to anything you throw at it. We got a couple
here. It's actually told us not to put one back there, but we had to store some beers.
Where are we going to put our beer? Where but we had to store some beers. Where are we gonna put our beer?
Where am I gonna put all the stickers I got in this drawer?
I'll tell you who's hyped about the Yeti sponsorship
is my dad.
My dad.
It's not Thanksgiving, it's a tradition in the Schuster household,
the Carter Brothers household during Thanksgiving.
Until my dad on Saturday night makes everybody look
at the cooler and say,
look at the ice.
It hasn't melted yet.
It's been five days.
Come on, let's go.
So I put some ice in this thing, some cold beers.
We're gonna see on Sunday.
You're just leaving the ice.
We're gonna leave the ice.
Let it rise.
It's so cold, what are we doing?
It's gonna be like keegan suitcase back there.
We're not unpacking it.
We're not into it.
Five years running, my dad is like,
get these, these yeti's man.
I think we're gonna check out this ice.
It's crazy.
I think we're just declare right now we're not
emptying the ice until Rory wins a major.
A lot of the hot.
Are you guys with me on that?
I'm with you on that.
I love that.
We will not empty it until the rib wins a major.
I am with you on that.
It's officially cooler season here in Jacks.
So if you want to get on board as well,
head to yeti.com shop now.
Thanks for supporting the live shows this week.
You know why I'm on board with that?
Cause I'm gonna ask a question right off the bat
and you guys all have to answer it right here right now.
Does Rory win the PGA this week?
No, because Stuart Sink does.
Okay.
Unfinished business.
DJ does Rory win.
Fuck it, I'm gonna say yes.
I'm gonna say yes.
I think he, we'll get into it.
I'm gonna say yes.
Randy, does Rory win the PGA?
No, I'm gonna go with the odds.
No, no, too much golf tournament left.
All of a sudden, Randy likes the stats and likes data golf and likes the odds.
I will say, Randy, are you nervous?
This would be a, a, a, absolutely grinding his feet on your proverbial couch
if he was to come win a major right now.
No, I mean, you never really get nervous till the back nine on Sunday.
No, this is, this would be, uh, this would be, uh,
Ashley Judd and double jeopardy digger herself out.
He can't be dead.
He's already coming back, coming for Randy.
You know, Randy tried to put him in the ground.
He said, no, I'm coming out.
I'm coming to get you to and you can't convict me
because you already tried to convict me.
What do you, what do you think?
Yeah, I think he does.
I think he's gonna ride.
I think he's gonna win it.
Listen.
Come on, I won in, I won in.
No, no, no, no, you couldn't, you just ended joking.
I was joking about this.
Okay, come on, I was joking.
I can try to tell you guys about Stu.
You did, you tried to order.
All right, that's the story of the day.
Big story of the day.
No, but I, yes, I want to feel some things.
Let's read for Rory.
I don't regret anything I said in the preview.
I have accepted that I was gonna miss the comeback, right? I'm okay Rory. I don't regret anything I said in the preview. I have accepted that I was going to miss the comeback, right?
I'm okay with that.
I don't regret that at all.
So I sold everything in Bitcoin with the 80,000 today, unfortunately.
That's pretty much exactly what happened.
No, I don't regret it.
I'm not expecting that to happen.
Because dude, it's been eight years.
We haven't seen that guy on a Thursday show up in eight years.
And we haven't seen it honestly looked like, every time I looked at the screen, it felt like somebody on the
first tee said to him like the old JP quote, like, hey, what the fuck are you doing?
You're really fucking macaroni.
And it looked like he was on offense.
I felt like the last eight years have been just hopeful.
He hits every shot with a hope that something turns out good.
I hope I play good.
This was just taking it.
He just took it in his own hands pounded driver
Hit controlled wedges poured in putts down the middle on I'm in I'm sold. That's all I needed to see
So like like we're seeing on the
Scrant go ahead, let me go ahead now go ahead
Let me let me remind you
You cannot win a major on Thursday. You can lose one which we've already already perfected that. And now we're getting back in the winning graces.
Yeah, I don't know.
It feels a little premature.
I think, you know, save it for Saturday at least.
Here's why I like today.
He comes in with, again, I tweeted this today.
I'm sure you guys were feeling this as well.
It was hard to wake up this morning.
They tee off at whatever nine o'clock
that the supergroup goes off. It was hard to wake up this morning, they tee off at whatever nine o'clock that the super group goes off.
It was hard to not be feeling
some pretty hyperbolic shit, right?
These are probably my three favorite players
paired together on a golf course
that I'm probably more excited for than anything other than,
I don't know, St. Andrews.
And I don't really know what else would be up there
as far as like really, really hyped.
It was hard not to feel like it was going to be an all-time day.
That's exactly where I feel like the rib has not shown up, right?
It's just like royal port rush, man.
Let's go fucking, oh, you made an aid on the first hole.
Like, oh, God, okay.
And I feel like it would have been really easy for Rory to be the anonymous guy, to be
kind of sit sitting the corner,
watch those two guys and just kind of getting his own head
of like, I'm gonna play really conservative,
I'm not gonna go try to get it today,
I'm just gonna let, I'm just gonna play safe,
I'm gonna play to the middle of the greens,
and he went out and fucking got it.
And he was pouring puts in,
I think maybe some of that is green speeds,
I don't know if you guys wanna talk about that,
but I think it rewards some guys who are out there
to make putts on slower greens, guys who are gonna really hammer it.
And I don't know, man, it was a lot different Thursday
than what we've seen in a lot of different ways.
I've got two things, Dad.
The producer Cody flashed up the absurd lines
he was taking out of the tee,
driving the shit out of it.
Great, that was not the story for me.
That's all Roy hit some very cheeky wedges.
Controlling the spin of his ball choking up,
not trying to hit a moon ball, that's exciting.
I hope he can do it in the conditions tomorrow
because he got the easy way of this morning.
I think it's the easy way of getting tomorrow.
In the afternoon.
Yeah, the afternoon as it is forecasted now is going to be easier than the morning.
The morning is when the wind is really going to blow.
Like the early late guys got the good into the drill.
Then hell yes, sign me up, brother.
We're in, dude.
Let's go.
Sorry, Randy.
It's happening, Randy.
I'm sorry.
You got to get used to it.
All right.
Sorry, bud.
Sorry.
He was fourth in stroke, gain off the tee. Eighteenth in stroke, gain approach to the green All right. Sorry, bud. Sorry. He was fourth in stroke. Skate off the tee. Eighteenth in stroke.
Skate approached the green.
Third in stroke.
Skate putting today.
He didn't do much around the greens,
but he honestly didn't miss.
He was four of six scrambling,
but well, I thought you had a really good point too,
as far as, you know, if we're going to keep pumping up
why I think he has good chance,
uh, explain a little bit of what you're talking about
with driving on this golf course, too,
because I think we came into it as like a very,
uh, it's really wide fairways.
It's probably not going to be a driving contest, but it feels like a place where like good
drivers can actually mega separate themselves.
There is at least a way it played today with the wind.
There was spots where like you could cut corners with driver, you could pound driver into
certain spots that, um, just by looking at the flyovers was like, I don't really see the
benefit in doing this, but the way it played today, like, the par-fives especially too, you could get one way down there and get after some
of the par-fives, which I looked at those flyovers, I was like, no one's getting to these
par-fives.
And the rest of the week may not be like that, but like where he's able to drive it on
12 today, all the way around that corner where Tigers hit Niren off the tee, which we can
you know, talk about some history as well, but he can hit, it's wide enough now that he
can just whale on driver. There's still consequences for misses on this golf course, but like, man, he is but he can hit, it's wide enough now that he can just whale on driver.
There's still consequences for misses on this golf course, but like, man, he is, he can
flex his ability to hit it long and straight more so than a golf course that is like really
narrowing in some of those spots.
I don't know.
It just felt like there was more driver advantage than I thought going into this week.
Watching, uh, watching those three guys play number 12 was the highlight of my day.
I don't know if we want to jump right to what was the highlight of your day,
but like having the cat come in from like almost 200 yards or so with the ball above his feet,
uneven lie.
Third hole.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Trying to like really manufacture something into that awesome green site,
like just a really beautiful hole to hit a golf shot into in the first place.
But then also seeing the line, Rory Tok, he had he had like 87 yards, 89 yards, whatever it was,
which I think we were all in our slack
kind of like revving each other up already in the morning.
Just like, oh God, here it goes.
He's not, he's gonna hit it.
Oh, man, he hit a great watch.
Here we go.
Not to mention the guys teeing off over the green.
Of course.
You know, that should we go first?
I don't know, no, no, you guys take it.
That's gonna be great all week.
I know the slow plays in issue, but I kind of like it when these guys are they're just they can't just be in their own little cocoon
They have to be aware of what's going on around them even more so than usual ranny talk is off of this well, you know
What what?
For some cold water on this
No, I listen he played great today. I the only cold water I have is it's Thursday and there's a ton of golf tournament left.
And, you know, I don't want to take away from your joy in what was a great round today.
I just think as far as winning the tournament, let's get through the third round at least.
And then we can revisit that.
Randy, I've here to, I got to see it for more than one round.
I'm here to tell you that there's a lot of golf tournament left is a good thing for him.
How many times have we seen it where he just he runs out of holes?
He was getting ready to shoot 29 and the other side just ran out of holes.
And Rory has traditionally been a bit of a front runner, right?
He gets out.
He starts peacock in.
He gets his little bounce going in the fairways.
Like that's when he's playing well.
So that I wish I with you.
It's when he, when he, he's got a fight and come back from behind after a bad first round
is when he struggles.
Which I know this takes going to be everywhere. And I know it's very lazy, but I think legitimately
I think that started Sunday to Augusta.
Sure.
I think he felt the bounce again for the first time in five years or whatever it was and
carried over to today, man.
That's what I keep saying is like it just, God, it seems like it would have been so easy
for him to go shoot 72 today.
It's basically what Speed did, right?
Where it's like, maybe you get a couple birdies early
and then you just kind of run out of gas
and that's usually what he does
and he just didn't fucking do it today.
It just feels like, feels like a different guy
than what we've seen.
Huge momentum putt at the last hole too.
That downhill birdie was awesome.
That was so clutch.
And listen, huge strokes game putting number day third.
He gained over three strokes,
but it was not like bombing in 45 footers.
It was just like, it just looked like the do.
We've been waiting for him to make 15 footers for about how many years.
Since we started this podcast, like,
and talk me off of this one too, but he he strikes me as somebody.
I'm maybe just thinking about that year, he won a bay hill,
but when they do start going in, man, they, they go in a big, big way.
Yeah, you know, he feels like very, very streaky.
I don't have stats to back that up, but I don't know. That's where it's too high on now. No, come on. I hear it. I hear it to something
with finally, you know, hey, I'm Roy fucking McAroy. He's talking about watching the Friday
egg video. I bet he got recommended his, you know, Val Hala highlights right after that.
The algorithm. He was like, yeah, why don't I watch these? God, that guy's good, man.
Like, you may like other PJ James videos. Oh, you like golf. Let me show you this from,
from what 2014 that'd be great for you. The, uh, there was their playing through
guys that are trying to hit over the top grade. Yeah. God, you know what? I used to
be the alpha. I should go do that. The picture goes, why don't you guys get out of
the way? I'm gonna play through. Face plays awful. Picture going around with him,
holding his daughter in front of a picture of him holding up the PGA
Traffic air fan sickle tweeted it and said like, oh, this has been daddy was good
It's like I broke my heart, but now I'm like all right. I think he's like feeling a little extra incentive to
To knock this off so Nick McC one ass is Rory just teasing us which I I'm saying no Randy
Are you saying yes? Is he teasing us? Is that where you're gonna call it? No, I just, you can't call it yet.
That's my whole point.
I can't call it.
That's our job.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
What's the most you've ever lost at a coin flip, Randy?
I have no idea, but he certainly could be teasing us.
We got to see how it plays out.
Listen, are the odds that he's gonna lose?
Yes, yes, for sure.
But are the odds, I feel like we're just a little
tipped in our favor this time.
And when it just seer it in on Rory over the last eight years
and how he's playing right out are the odds in our favor,
like this is the best opportunity we've seen since
Valhalla.
Is that like, think, you mean, I guess maybe the master's
Sunday, the last three, yeah.
Okay, so I take that back but
It feels different it does feels different
Bryce Bondi 24 asked how did you guys create your own first round leader prop and not include Rory again?
I regret nothing regret nothing said in the preview. I we were trying to get the odds up
I know come on one of the get one of the stack. I'm Roy would have hurt the hurt our chances there. If you had to pick somebody not named
Rory to win the Masters, who do you like right now? PGA or the Masters? We'll go with the
PGA. We'll get to the Masters soon. Masters soon.
Zalator's looks good. JT looked good. I think I would say JT probably. I think, you know,
this day went, they don't always bounce your way, right?
Like in a, in a, what's interesting to watch way, but coming in, I think we were all very like,
God, that was fun to watch. Rory Sunday of the Masters. What's he gonna do? I think he's gonna
keep it going, right? I think that was like thing. If not number one, it's top of the list, right?
I think we all said like, JT put up a shut up. You're playing awesome. This is a great golf course for you.
Conditions are going to be a little weird.
He ground through it at the grinded through it.
Ground through it.
I never know what the quite proper verb is in that context at the players.
Grindy, I think I think grind it grind.
Grindy, I think grind it as well.
He grinded through it at the players.
I think we all enjoyed seeing that and we're kind of saying,
hey, maybe maybe that guy's going to show up.
I think he absolutely did kind of round to the afternoon.
That was really exciting.
And then I think the third guy is not to piss on everybody here, territoryally, but Cam
Smith.
I feel like right with the double and bogey early or two bogeys, whatever it was, I think
he was using three over at one point.
Two bogeys in a double on his front nine.
He got two over.
Battled it back to within three of the lead is impressive.
That was going to be the main G dog was gonna be my answer.
And I think sums up why I've enjoyed this morning,
specifically, I think the course looks very difficult,
but it doesn't look like a US Open setup
or just a, you know, every hole is punching these guys
in the gut.
There's opportunities to score.
Number one, being an example, it feels like the pin on 17 was tough, but that hole also feels like a, like there's opportunities to score. Number one being an example, it feels like the pin on 17
was tough, but that whole also feels like a, like there's opportunities for birdies, right?
And I, but there's also train wrecks out there. Like there were more doubles on number eight
than there were birdies today, which is a wild stat to mount a part three. And Cam Smith's
game fits that really well. I feel like because he's able to bounce back, like some of these
guys are so consistent, you know, you saw like, Scottie's chef was getting all upset.
You know, it's not going his way.
Kim goes out and makes a double early
and she's like, yeah, I don't care.
You know, and you start looking at his card.
It's unbelievable.
It's just like,
I'm about to guide you.
He has such a short memory.
Talk about a guy who like,
with slow greens, you know, like kind of hammering.
I mean, they're relatively slow, right?
Like, they're more like the British open type speed.
But like, talk about a guy that just like puts to make putts.
Yes, right?
And like, a guy that just hits the center of the putter
on every single side.
And if he misses the green, like, you know,
great chipper of the golf ball.
So, and I just, to me, it kind of frames
why I'm enjoying watching them play golf on this course,
because there are, if you stay in it,
there are opportunities to score out there.
There's some short part fours, even the part fives, we're talking about like 640 plus yards.
I think one of my favorite moments today was Duval,
when they were doing the flyover, he goes on his whole
solo liquid about how like, there it is, this is a three shot hole,
100%.
Like, I don't see anybody going for it.
Cuts right to Tony Fienel, hitting an iron pen high and over,
it bounces over the green.
And it was just like oh one of those moments that
Happens to me a lot where you're like man, I that's tough, you know
That's that that was very poetic. Yeah, I got a lot more to say on the Duval ESPN plus
We have so much to talk product. I guess we'll probably get there later, but it was awesome
Yeah, I don't mean to call Duval. I really enjoyed it
Yeah, that cracked me up. I it new ball. I really enjoyed it.
Yeah, that cracked me up.
I was like, well, I think these par fives are a birdie opportunity.
These two for these guys.
I just want to call out.
I don't know if you guys are reading the comments.
TC is absolutely on one right now.
He's just spamming spamming the comments.
Producer Cody keeps piping this guy in.
Yeah, keep the trolls out of here, man.
Come on.
He's talking about can't lays it in poster.
All the wins.
He says we're crowning with the wins.
Get a dude tomorrow. We can't take one night off to the wind. Instead of crowning with the wind, get a dude tomorrow.
We can't take one night off.
The speed stink.
We haven't talked about Mito yet.
Come on, I see you.
He's in the bad kid in class right now.
Just gonna pipe down, looking for all the attention.
Suspend him.
I see you in the corner.
It's a span of time.
Get a handle on this guy.
That was the moment.
Exactly.
I do want to get in front of something here
because you guys will, you guys will very much regret if you don't do this
Before the end of the show, but we do need you to download the cash app because by the end of the show
We are gonna be straight straight up. We're giving away cash if you send us funny comments
We're gonna have a prompt later on and we're gonna send up you're gonna have to drop your cash tag in and we're sending

I lost a $10 bet on the golf course, paid it in Bitcoin.
Bitcoin's gone down since then.
I won that bet.
Not all you lost, it's a waste.
I won that bet.
It's going well.

I've already got it.
Oh my, come on man.
The comments are absolutely galvanizing behind TC.
There's a up, Cody, you need to squash the uprising
that's going on in the chat right now.
The electrons are rising up.
What are they saying?
They're all, we support TC, free TC.
Right.
Just keep an eye on it.
Well, we do have our guy Ben Hôteling who is, it runs our Instagram does a lot of things
for us.
You guys know some guys backyard.
He's the co-founder of Brough Creek National.
He was in Tulsa today.
He has been on site at Southern Hills.
We are going to bring him in now.
Ben, what was the best thing you saw today?
First off, can you guys see me some of those questions for the cash
app? I could use it.
Come by my office. Our benefits program is fantastic here. Pro
trash. Come on. Come on. I'll talk. We'll talk about it.
Best thing I saw today was Tigers lay up shot on five. He found himself kind of
what looks like right down the middle of the fairway and the trees kind of overhang
on the backside of that bunker. And he hits this shot and the whole crowd is like,
oh, because it looks like it's going right into the range
and just takes out right hand turn,
it comes right back to the center of the fairway,
truly remarkable stuff.
Was this your first time following the cat?
Not first time following the cat,
first time in the roast with the cat,
which is an entirely different experience. Yeah, describe that a little bit. What was the scene out there?
Man, so you know where the cat is that's for sure. I mean the super group had, you know, three quarters of the
patrons out there in the morning. We can call fans. It's also they're not patrons. Yeah, that's fair. That's fair.
in the morning, we can call him fans. And tell us that they're not patrons.
That's fair.
That's fair.
But yeah, it was an unbelievable experience.
I feel really bad for Cat if I'm being totally honest.
The constant chirping, the constant look over here.
Check me out.
You know, I'm so, I love you, Cat.
I couldn't imagine being in his shoes.
It's tough, tough scene.
Did you get a look at the interaction with the camera guy
coming down the first fairway?
Was that guy crowd-n-um?
I did it, but it was all a buzz in the media tent.
I had just arrived when that had happened,
and it sounds like everybody was a little frustrated
with the camera guy, that's for sure.
He was not even that close to him.
Oh no, Rob got upset with, I don't know the same guy,
but it seems like, you know. You're too close, him. I don't know. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no.
Oh no. Oh no.
Oh no.
Oh no.
Oh no.
Oh no.
Oh no.
Oh no.
Oh no.
Oh no.
Oh no.
Oh no.
Oh no.
Oh no.
Oh no.
Oh no.
Oh no.
Oh no.
Oh no.
Oh no.
Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. It's a weird way to start today. I just thought he would have just been happy to be out there
and not been very Brysony.
If I must call it, if that was Brysony,
then that would have been all over.
So we gotta be fair.
Yeah, the trolls back, T.C. is back.
Come on, get a handle on him, Cody.
He's chirping Ben's setup.
Look, say, looks like he's in Cabo.
Which it does.
It looks like a nice setup there, down by the leg.
Look, just outside of Tulsa,
and it felt like Cabo today, though.
I can tell you that.
Was it, it looks so sweaty out there? It's so sweaty. It's so hot and gross. It's really nice in
the morning and it's starting to get better, but man, the cat had to have been drinking gallons of
water because man, he was dripping. It looked like, did you have a cat like drip going as well?
Absolutely. You guys almost lost me yesterday out of the practice
round? I mean, I only had like five bottles of water.
It was not nearly enough.
I had to take a little breather in the media tent.
So how long how long were you out there inside the ropes with the super
group?
About 11 holes.
Talk us off the Rory stuff.
Anything you saw that we didn't see?
So I want to go back a little bit.
I want to go back to to Wednesday. I want to go back to Wednesday
with Rory. So Rory played a solo practice round. I followed spieth and DJ. They were super
giggly playing a little match, having fun, you know, getting up to the green throwing balls
around and whatnot. Rory was by himself. He was extremely serious. So the point where it looked
like you had a chip on his shoulder from being honest just very very cold
And then he was he was actually playing to the whole location and trying to make birdies
He was getting frustrated. He was stalking putts. Oh
That's out Randy your response
Brandy care to comment
It's gonna be yeah, you tell him out of gas by Saturday
that it's gonna be, yeah, he told him out of gas by Saturday.
I've heard all I need to hear. But yeah, if he missed one or lived one out,
he was, he was hangdogging just, you know,
very much trying to post a score yesterday
during the practice round, which was interesting.
I'm not sick, I do respect that.
The whole new person that I saw out there.
He was hitting cups.
That's so good.
What do you think of the golf course?
Golf course is unbelievable. It's, it's so, so good. What do you think of the golf course? Golf course is unbelievable.
It's so, so good.
I can see a lot of prairie dunes in it,
but this is a beefy, big golf course.
That whole number 5, 656 yards or whatever it is,
it's so big.
And there is such an advantage for people
that can hit it up over those trees
and to be able to hit it as long as some of these guys are hitting it, you know, 380 plus where, you know, I saw Kevin Nye and he is 30 yards back of that bunker that's in the center line and he's dealing with the trees.
So you get a huge advantage from that. It's just such on the golf court or three connections that I think are really, really cool. Obviously, 12, 13 is a really fun spot to see really good golf being played down there.
Some serious slope. You got to really deal with the, if you hit driver, you got to deal with that downhill slope coming in with that wedge.
So, Neil, to your point, that's a really, really good shot.
And then this, what's flash on the screen right now, this is the six connection.
There's a couple of really cool holes in that back corner. And a lot of the Part 3s are
very long, very similar shots, but it's a very different look, very different aesthetic
that they're coming into and requires different shot shapes into these greens, which got the
C-Cat due today, hitting a nice draw into that back left corner, which was fantastic.
Also think that 9 and 18 is some of the coolest, coolest golf holes that I've seen. They look, they're very similar, but couldn't play more different.
18 is just a monster. I saw some lumber going into that green today, they had the pin if you're on the right side
I mean you could not could not get to it without really shaping one
We're nine like you got a little bit of opportunity on that hole
But you have to hit such a good shot up to those up to those greens
You can't see anything not a thing from those those fairways even getting close to the green you can't see anything
being long as is totally totally dead
close to the green, you can't see anything. Being long is totally, totally dead.
Question for you, Ben.
I think about, you know, I kind of was expecting honestly
with what I'd seen from the videos and stuff,
more balls really running off greens into the short areas.
It seems like the runoff areas are actually just a little bit
hairy. Now I heard some guys saying that makes it super
hard to chip into the grain, adding a grain level,
makes it harder to putt off that as well. But it just, you can see the undulations a
little better than we can on TV. Is it severe around those greens? And the balls are just
kind of sticking on them. Do you think, did you see a lot more balls rolling off than
we saw on TV? What do you think of that?
I did not see a lot of balls rolling off because they have to be so, so conservative, especially
going up to nine and, in 18. If you're not past the front of the green,
I mean, that thing could come back 50 yards.
I mean, it is straight up hill,
which is say, I felt bad for Kat trying to walk up those,
those to those green complexes.
I mean, it's straight up the hill.
And that's another thing.
That whole, that hill defines the entire golf course.
You know, this conversation about wind and stuff.
If you're down there, like kind of where this picture is right now, it slopes all the way up that
hill and totally blocks the wind coming from the south. So where the clubhouse is, where
it sits, that hill defines where the entire golf course is, it's all down the hill kind
of in a swale and it's totally blocked out. So there's some spots when it was middle
of the day, where it was entirely stagnant because that hill is totally blocked out. So there's some spots when it was middle of the day where it was entirely stagnant
because that hill is totally blocking it.
So something to consider.
Question for you, transitioning back to the cat
and the super group, Ben was, when did it turn for him?
Or did you notice Tiger on a specific hole
where he got hurt?
Did he get tired?
Because we were all jacked up on the front nine.
He's hitting beautiful iron shots.
Well, I think, well, he had like 190 into 12.
I mean, golf shot, like after golf shot.
It was the wedge, you hit it at 10 even.
And then he just ran out of gas.
But was it like a moment where it was like,
it flipped or was it just, he got worn down?
I want to say worn down.
I think that was a moment where he felt a little
wincy, like something happened. He kind of put a little bit too much weight on it
around whole seven. So it would be his 16th is where I really started to notice it.
All the way through his six so so his 15th hole. He was walking good. He was
hitting good shots. he was hitting shapes,
everything was going okay,
those kind of three birdies early in his back nine.
Frankly, we're just not judging the speed
of the greens correctly, he was just chipping it way too far.
He's playing so conservative.
Yeah, like a shot on one that he hit,
so his 10th hole, 100%, I'm going for that flag on that one. And he hit. So his 10th hole, 100%.
I'm going for that flag on that one.
And he hit the shot.
I was like, whoa, what happened?
And he's just playing so, so conservative.
Hit Niharns in spots that he, I mean,
which is, I know, it just,
you can hit drivers on this course.
It's not running that much down the fairway.
It's like, he was leaving himself
a hundred yards behind Rory at times
Like you can't compete with him at that, but if he if he you know if he was playing better if he didn't get worn down
It's so fun to watch him hit six irons. Oh, it's great. It is but it seems unnecessary now when everybody else isn't hitting
I know but it's still like oh my god. What a shot man. It's just he's the best plot iron player of all time
It's like what a treat to watch, you know, it's like kind of like
batting practice a little bit.
It's sweet.
Can I ask you about stinky speed on the green?
Oh, I know.
I know.
I know.
I'm sorry.
Dude, it looked like he did not have the speed of the greens at any
point during the round day.
He was short on everything.
No.
Him and Kat really struggled with the speed of the greens.
Kat was hitting it way pass a hole
Speed couldn't get a thing there to save his life
It was unfortunate. I mean it he had a lot of really really good looks and just just nothing couldn't couldn't hit in the ocean
I'm ready. I couldn't make any but
Any any last you know the last thing in prep. What was the energy like out there?
I mean by the end of the day honestly like everybody left it kind of it kind of it
is what out the energy fizzled out a little bit and i think
we can talk a little bit about putting put in all the needle movers in the in
the morning wave
mean tomorrow afternoon should be pretty nice but
uh... it it was lacking some pop in the end of the day but man it
kvv tweeted seventy five percent people had left i mean what what what was it
loud in the morning not loud in the afternoon did ever get loud what was your
impression of the energy?
Not it was not as loud as I expected it to be for that group.
I expected it to be a lot more. It was more just like kind of chirping when they're walking on a fairway.
People wanting to get selfies, wanting to take videos of, you know,
bat and rory walking down the the fairway, not a not a lot of like real strong golf fans.
It didn't.
It's that sought after millennial.
Exactly.
The torsman looking for for years.
Ben, who was the best person you took a selfie with?
Ooh.
No one.
But I did seek you out there today.
They kept turning them down.
Yeah.
Said, come on, guys, not right now, I'm working.
Oh, I took one selfie.
I did take one selfie.
Someone asked you to take it with them,
or you asked to take it with them.
Correct.
Yes.
How about that? I know. Everyone's favorite backyard architect you to take it with them or you asked to take it with them. Correct. Yes.
How about that?
I know.
Everyone's favorite backyard architect.
I love it.
Come on.
I love it.
Well, Benny, thank you for popping on, man.
Enjoy the rest of the week out there.
We appreciate your insights.
And now I think we got a little more speed to talk about here.
Listen, we appreciate all you do for the game.
Thank you very much, sir.
Yes.
Awesome.
Randy, what did you see from speed?
Not much.
Tell you what.
Kind of what you guys saw.
Yeah, it wasn't good.
It wasn't good.
Well, listen, I was kind of churping that, you know, it felt like all the balls were bouncing our way and we kind of, you know,
got pay off on a lot of things.
I think speed was someone that everybody was kind of expected to play well.
And so we kind of listen, we missed that one.
He's two over.
He's T 56 right now.
He's time with John Daley.
He, you know, gained strokes off the tee, gained him approach, gained around the greens.
He just lost, you know, over a stroke on the greens today.
He shoots 67 tomorrow.
Again, he's in the better wave.
Like, you know, the afternoon could be pretty nice for guys to go out and get it
You know, he shoots 300 tomorrow. He's totally in this golf tournament
I'm not counting them out, but like today was it was tough to watch. Do we want to talk about the weather tomorrow?
We should talk about it. Oh man. You got the you got the great
Graphic from TC's windy app from our in-house meteorologist
Mr. Toronto Carter if I'm reading it correctly, which I'm probably not because it's immensely complex
It's say it's gonna gust up to 45 in I'm probably not, because it's immensely complex,
it's going to gust up to 45 in the morning.
It's what it says.
It's 9 o'clock.
I don't know how that works exactly, but it's like the max gust, I think, can be like 49
at one point.
Yeah, if you're watching live on YouTube here, you can see 49 miles an hour at 7 a.m.
But like, sustain wins at 23 and kind of petering off as the day goes on, but set 11, 17 miles an hour by 11,
and then 12 miles an hour by 2 p.m.
and then all the way down to 7 miles an hour at 4 p.m.
So, there is no, like, JT shot, one of the best rounds
in the afternoon wave, but there's no payoff for that.
There's not, like, well, you get it better tomorrow.
It's gonna be probably worse for them tomorrow.
So that draw is gonna be, it was about a shot today.
I'm gonna guess it's at least a shot tomorrow. If it is probably more, right?
Especially a little moisture, a little moisture in the ground there mid day. It looks like
and just getting to a point where, you know, I don't know, you were talking about like
stacking all the excitement. I kind of, you could convince me that I feel like majors
even, and this is probably us, you know know super hardcore fan problem because you're watching it all day like you just can't sustain
immense in psych excitement for 12 straight hours right and so like I feel like
It's good you're gonna have a lull anyways. See you might as well as load one wave. I'm totally cool with it and I'm so fucking pumped for tomorrow
I think a lot how to do with just the come down from worry play greats, or I'll hype though about that.
And then truly seeing the cat sweating in that interview,
like I felt like I just finished a workout.
Like I was like, yo man, like God,
he's just like sucked a life out of me.
Like, oh my, homies hurt.
He's limpin, he's leaning on the sky sports screen.
Like he's holding onto it, like a crutch, it's crazy.
And so and then it was like, okayutch, it's crazy. And so,
and then it was like, okay, and then they switch over to the, that did also didn't help.
When ESPN plus was awesome. So good. And then they switch over and it's like, it just,
they switched over to CBS crew for like, I don't know, felt like weird, like two, three hours.
And then they go back to the SPN crew. So that felt a little disjointed to me and that I
lost a little bit of juice from that.
Straight up, I know this is hyperbole.
That first hour of golf, I think,
is the best hour of televised golf.
I've watched, if not ever, in a very, very long time.
We all said the same thing, like separately this morning.
Oh my God.
I was sitting right here at this table watching it
and saying to myself, damn dude, this is great.
They're just in and out of shots.
They're not saying too much.
They're like, do vol and vampelter awesome together.
I couldn't, I needed a diaper.
I couldn't go, I could not get up and go pee.
I was like, I'm gonna be pee in the cups.
Like there was no moment to get away.
It was, but that's you would have peed in your yeti
was stayed warm forever all day.
Just like I did.
No, it's a free, no, it's a free. Another use of the law, man.
It's, I mean, the way they, it's like,
you know, people get on us like about criticizing
the coverage and everything.
Like, you can't do it perfect, blah, blah, blah, blah.
It's like, dude, if it looked like that,
we'd be totally fine.
Like, we just would not have a problem.
And that part of it comes with just SVP's whole vibe
of how he talks, he doesn't like try to fake be funny.
He just like is very, he's just so, yeah.
Him and Duval to sit there and shoot the shit
and tell stories and you know, I think it's great.
It makes me wanna watch a whole heck of a lot of it.
I love to see Thro Duval and Fowdo with dance.
I mean, I thought he was great.
No Fowdo today by the way.
Right?
Very interesting.
Yeah.
He's playing on live golf.
Just a day off, I guess.
I don't know what that means, but I'm not gonna get too excited.
I'm sure he's gonna probably just.
I was curious why they, it felt like the CBS crew came in for a very short period of time.
They do that to get him a rep before the weekend, I think.
Okay, so it's just kind of a break.
Get him warmed up.
It's a break.
Yeah, they do that every year with the Ony SPN.
But yeah, the plus is, I mean, it's premium coverage.
I know it's behind the paywall and not everyone gets to see it,
but it's damn worth it, absolutely.
Randy, what'd you think of the coverage?
It was great.
I, later in the day, I thought it kind of peedered.
Like, they didn't show any of walking Neiman,
they kept showing Mary Higgs.
They're small critiques I had, but yeah,
I spent most of my time on the ESPN Plus.
I'm kind of out on these supergroups, so that's going back
a little bit to the discussion.
I don't know if that plays a part of it.
I almost wish we would try a tournament
where we split them all up and see how that changes things.
Who do you think the super group benefits more the telecast and the broadcast or fan?
I guess I just answered my own question because the fans are all bunched up then, right?
But it also makes it easier if you want to, you know,
it's a pen. It's a pen. It's one of those like, it's good for TV.
Yeah, I think it's very good for TV.
It's fun to see guys like hitting shots on top of each other.
Like you get to a par three and Tiger sticks it and then Rory steps up next like that's
good for everybody.
And the cameras are there and the cadence works out perfect.
You don't have if, if, if, if, if,
if, if, if, if, and Tiger in different groups might be hitting shots at the same time.
And that way it just, it flows a little bit better.
I think, and maybe a major is different because they obviously have a lot more cameras out
there, but, Randy, I feel like we talk about this with the LPGA a lot, right?
Where it's like, they're so hampered by having fewer cameras that it's like, oh yeah, I mean,
we'd love to show you, you know, Brook Anderson, but she's not in the featured group.
So, sorry, she's on the other side of the course, which, you know, I don't know if that
was a bit of a Neiman conundrum or not, but I'm with you in that.
Would it love to see more of him and how he played the golf course.
And see any coached and see any stucing.
I mean, I'm totally cool with that.
I'm brand names out there.
I will say massive shout out.
I think we were all talking about this this morning too, but massive shout out to Duval
for it's weird when you have golf commentators that actually talk about what's on their mind.
And they actually try to inform the fan.
And they actually, like, my dad, who's a pretty serious golf fan, I would say, you know,
he checks in and he checks out, but he texts me, he's like, hey, why is Phil not playing
the PGA?
I'm like, yeah, that is such a natural question because they would never fucking talk about
it on the telecast.
And like, that's a good example of what you don't get at a major right where everything is whitewashed
Everything's awful limits. You can't talk about it
I mean the line that I think Duval opened up with was like hey Phil if you're gonna be man enough to to basically
I'm paraphrasing
So if you're gonna be man enough to like shit on everybody who's ever won on the PGA tour and come on
After the whole institution you should probably be man enough
to answer some questions about it, which is like,
reach.
Get him, man, hell yeah.
What is he, oh you, the media DJ?
Yeah, of course.
That, but like that, I think put a lot of pep in my step
and then you pay that off with the supergroup
and you pay that off with Tiger making birdie on 10
and then here comes the rib and then then no commercials is the other thing.
I mean, it was just awesome.
It was so good.
And that goes back to the chemistry with SVP too.
Like that guy knows how to handle that, that kind of moment of just like, all right,
let's hope, like, let's get to the golf.
You know, it's not, it doesn't have to be like, okay, we're going to go to the booth now.
And we're going to talk about something serious, which is, you know, I like dance,
but sometimes dance can handle that a little bit to, yeah.
You know, high classy, I guess.. Nance, let's just get it out.
Let's just talk about it.
There's nobody in the world better than just when everything's going really great.
Yes.
Nance is, is, is saddled with some challenges too.
My, my guy James Whittles, he kind of nilly says to Vols, got the horses in the back.
I think that's a great time.
I think SVP does too. They might be the horses. Can I ask you a some serious
questions on southern hills? Please. I'm going to play a little game with you if you will.
If you will. I want to play a little game. I was trying to think of like where this course
ranks for me in PGA championship golf courses, right? So I'm just going to say this. Southern
hills or Kiowa. Don't know yet. Kiwa was really good.
Kiwa was great, and it was different.
Randy?
Yeah, to be determined, I guess I would lean Southern Hills
though at this point.
If you had asked me that before this tournament started,
I would say Kiwa without thinking,
Southern Hills would be, oh yeah, it's one of those places
and really hot and the rust really long.
I think if we get biblical wind in the morning, I think we're all going to whip
southern hills.
And I also, if we would have got biblical wind at Kioa, I think we would all whip the
Kioa. There were some good wind the first three days.
There was.
Yeah. No, no massive train.
No.
Uh, it's a great question.
That is southern hills or hearty.
What do you think?
What do you think?
I'm going to say southern hills.
Okay.
Uh, southern hills are hearting park.
Southern hills, southern hills, but I love hearting park.
I just think this shows up better on camera. Okay. Southern Hills are Harding Park. Southern Hills. Southern Hills, but I love Harding Park. I just think this shows up better on camera.
Randy?
Yeah, I think I agree.
I think Southern Hills.
Easy when Southern Hills are Beth Page.
Definitely Southern Hills.
It's not as much of a, I'm gonna say Southern Hills,
but I like Beth Page more than you guys do,
but I've played there, so I have a little bit more context, maybe.
I wish I could sleep in the parking lot at
Southern Hills that would be best to both worlds I
Think Beth Patriots because of that sign the warning
And the fans very many loves to get down
Hands in golf lovers to get down with the Long Island boys. Come on. Uh-oh teachers here. Hold on
Are you are you sure you want to sleep in the parking lot at Southern Hill? No, that's a good point
I Are you sure you want to sleep in the parking lot at Southern Hill? No, that's a good point actually. That's where my guy is.
That's where my knee bulge your legs out.
Cody, that's a great joke, man.
That's a great joke.
I always got your six, buddy.
Thank you.
Thank you, appreciate that.
Uh, Belrieve or Southern Hills?
Belrieve, definitely.
10, 10, come on.
Best fans in sports.
Yeah.
Best course they've ever played.
So, I did this earlier and then I'm like, dude,
when was the last time we had a course that I liked more than Southern?
I don't even I'm not like so knows is not a 10 out of 10
I don't think there's some a couple things that I think are just just okay about it
But quail hollow that one's easy. Yeah, Baltic roll haven't seen since the redo but
Wishing straight to use our Baltic roll with it. Yeah, I got to play it last summer. What where yeah now with that comp
It looks great.
I think it's gonna, I think you'll pop on television.
I, you know, who knows?
I, this is, I like Boltz, let me just say that.
I like him all, man.
Yeah.
I'm kinda, I think my answer to the initial question
is I say Kiowa.
I do like that course.
I think that I haven't, you said I haven't seen enough
of Southern Hills and it's all this is all kind of based on the the Renault right. So it's like
Balterstrawl you know is it the new is it recency bias is it like oh just because we've never seen
this it's brand new whereas Kiowa's been around it's kind of been the same for him for a while. I'd
love to see him go back there you know more for more for stuff like this. Cody. Yeah, I would say I was up there with Randy played the lower course of ball to
stroller is it's still kind of the same thing. They improved a lot of the surrounds around
the green a ton of the bunkering, but it's still the same course that we saw the fake
PGA championship he played at. I was out at Southern Hills for two days this week and it's phenomenal.
I mean, it's a masterpiece.
I don't think, you know, from last year at Kiwa,
very good course, very mature.
I love the way that Southern Hill plays.
I think it has incredible vistas.
I think it's a better spectating experience.
And overall outside of like, I don't know, maybe the heat,
like what negative things that Southern Hills have going for it?
It's awesome.
I would, people are gonna complain about the sand,
but it's great.
Oh, the sand's great.
Sand's a highlight.
That's it.
We'll get to that.
I just wanna say GTG 724, TPC D's nuts in 33
is gonna be lit.
I tend to agree with that.
That's great.
This is a great game.
I can't wait.
It sounds like it's a good cash tag guy.
Yeah.
Do you have a,
Hey, put your cash tag in there.
Just your D's.
Yes, it does.
If you have a cash tag,
we're sending you 50 bucks.
TPC D's done.
I kind of want to keep going.
It's a good game.
So 15 was what?
Whistling straights?
Whistling straights.
That's kind of a coin flip.
I like Whistling straights. I know people, some people don't like it, but I'm a fan.
So I'm talking for watching golf, watching the PGA on television.
I like watching it.
I like watching.
I'm gonna hold off on that one.
14, Valhalla, easy.
Definitely, Nakhlas.
13 is Oak Hill.
Oak Hill, Nakhlas, I don't think.
I mean, I'm gonna go back to our next year.
Yeah.
Kiwa again.
I was on the QA 11 was. The land athletic. The last thing Kiwa again. Kiwa 11 was the land athletic.
That's good there.
10 was Wistling straights.
Nine was.
Hey, he's not even close.
Yeah.
Oh, eight was Oak Hill.
Yeah, haven't seen that since the
really haven't seen it since the
really.
That's so that's all just like
man, hold in this one.
Even supposed to back to Southern
Hill. Yeah, we need to get some other courses in the world.
PGA Loki has done.
But he starts listening them out.
Yeah.
Um, did we talk enough of the Zalatoris?
I mean, he's leading the field in stroke's game putting.
I don't know if that deserves.
Uh, that's interesting.
Yeah, leading the field in the stroke's game putting.
I mean, he can pour in the mid-rangers, man.
And he didn't have, he had one miss from five.
I mean, today or something. Randy, if there was ever a case of something,
not meeting the eye test, Zalator's,
it's just, maybe that's just a bias I have
from some scar tissue watching him put.
That's crazy.
This is a bit of a, you know, huck in him
from the cheap seats statistical take here
that I'm sure someone could prove right or wrong,
but I wonder if the slow greens help him, right?
I feel like at least when I'm at my yippiest, it's when it's ultra fast greens, right? And you're trying not to
you're just trying not to blow at 18 feet past the hole. And I feel like when it's a little slower, you can you can put a little more conviction in your stroke and
I don't know, maybe that will help him. I think the green speeds are good for some like more Kawa and for Zalatorz.
And I was not joking when I said this to the masters
that like his little Zoro Stroke he's got going.
I feel like he's kind of got a dialed.
Like I know it looks horrible.
It's horrible.
But he's kind of got like just a constant motion going.
It kind of looks a little more stewsinky,
like pump faking now.
And I'm kind of in on it.
It could be famous last words,
but it seems like it's not as the contact is not as bad as it once was.
Yeah, I
You're anything else on Zalator's I didn't get to see I didn't get to see too much from today. Look forward to watch to find a move on
I find later take away
No box. I just want just want to make sure
I want to go back to JT for just a second because I was saying this to you guys when he was finishing up
Great round for him.
We wanna see him bow his neck, you know.
Go get out there, come on, put, you know,
leaving the A gap like.
I've never heard that phrase.
I really liked that.
Bow your neck, okay?
I need you to bow your neck.
I just, when he was finishing up,
pretty much every time they cut to him, he was unhappy.
And it's not like a, like you said it earlier,
it's not a chippy unhappy.
It's kind of just like, it's fun when the cats unhappy.
Yes. You know he's grindy.
Yeah, but it's like, it's a bit of a moap.
It's a hang dog, Randy.
And that's, I'm just like, man, you play great today, dude.
Like look, look at the scoreboard.
You're doing great, you know, let's get a little,
little juice.
Let me get behind you.
So I don't know if that's gonna change
or it probably won't,
but I'm struggling with that a little bit
as I watch as a fan.
I feel like that's a perception thing.
Where if you won more majors,
you'd be a little more endeared to it.
Maybe.
Let's find out.
Be fun to watch.
Let's find out.
You think I'm off base with that?
I had this with JT's.
I don't really, I didn't notice that.
I mean, I've seen him be Mopey at past events.
It didn't stand out to me today.
I've definitely seen him be Mopey.
It did not stand out to me today.
Okay.
I appreciate you guys checking me there.
Find a move on.
Next, one other thing I'd like to give Randy a shout out for is Chris Kirkplay.
Yeah, you want to talk us through that one big guy?
I just saw you as an excellent ball striker and are you getting into the data? I love it. It's
kind of round. Wow, you know, you hit the ball well. I figured, you know, you can
make a top 40. A lot of golf left. That's good. But he didn't make a bogey today,
which is kind of sick. I don't know how many guys went bogey free.
That's always gonna help you.
I feel like, can we talk about some big disappointments?
Sure.
Please.
Who was the biggest disappointment of the day?
Kale.
Has to be Kale, right?
Six over par, 76.
Oh God, I didn't realize it got that bad.
Yeah.
Shish.
Really?
What is not disappointing about that?
Oh, I know, he's gonna be cocked.
Yeah, he's gonna say,
the guy skinks, he didn't have any expectations anyway.
That's exactly what I'm gonna say.
I don't know.
You guys have sucked yourselves into this can't late thing.
Like he's never like, I don't know where the expectations were coming from.
I said he wasn't gonna win.
He's the biggest disappointment.
I think you I'm not expecting him to compete.
If I was gonna for for solid specifically, I think it might be Brooks.
I just hold on, I want to pause on this for you.
I'm gonna double click on this.
Please, as your boy Tim Ferris, let's say.
Oh, yeah, your boy.
Rainy, I don't want to take anything away from that.
He did win player the year last year.
So I think that might be where some of the expectations come from.
As being named by his peers, the best player on the PGA tour.
And like at minimum, a top 10 player in the world by any measure.
However, it is one of those like, I think whoever I believe was you, Randy, said put up
or shut up this week on the on the preview podcast.
It is like, yo, if it's not going to be there in a major, then I'm quickly disinterested.
I am with you.
Let me ask you this.
Does it shock you that he played
as he did today? You know what does shock me? Like seeing the 20 majors he's played in. How many top 10s do you think he has? Not a lot. One, I think a master's. Yeah, it's like one or two. I
feel like two. Yeah. A T nine at the masters in 2019 and a T three at the 2019 PGA. He has no
in 2019 and a T3 at the 2019 PGA. He has no top 15 finishes.
He's at T15 last year at the US Open.
That's the best finishes.
And how many has he played in?
20.
That's more than I thought.
I didn't think he had that many reps.
That's not good.
But he has won a boatload of money on the PGA tour.
You can't deny that.
He's won a lot of big tournaments that aren't majors.
So he's a PGA tour player.
I think that's where the expectations come from
Thank you, but on the opposite side of the coin Keppka I
Kind of I've missed every I've whipped up every time you talk you want to self into that on a Monday
You're like, look at look at the boys. Look at this look at this come on beautiful like it was how many times will we just not talked about
I'm here in the lead up to it and we regret it immediately? And this is the first time I'm gonna be like, hey, don't forget about this guy.
And of course he goes and does that.
I'd like to throw a guy that, listen,
you guys treat him just like, can't wait.
My guy, Zander.
Yeah, it was great.
Nice round.
Two under.
A lot of golfers.
Good round.
But where I would push back on that,
Zander has a shitload of top 10 majors.
Sure, you're right.
And we haven't seen him get it across.
He's had a lot of really good chances to win
and has gotten it across the finish line.
We gotta get some reps.
You can keep putting yourself in that position
and we'll break through.
It's his version of the mega bonus.
Let's see him get there.
I think you're pretty responsible for this,
can't lay hype.
Sure.
I'm kinda looking for an apology directly from you.
No, I made sure to stay away from this week. I haven't liked the way he's been.
He was a self-playing this week.
I think that can't lay. I enjoy can't lay because he's honestly because he's just himself.
He's like a he's not the cat. He's a cat. Like he's just you never know who's going to show up.
Sometimes it's a show up and he's going to murder people. Other times he's just you never know who's gonna show up sometimes a show up and he's gonna murder people other times
He's just like you know what that it's this not it's not as weak. So he's he's a he's a trick or treat guy
And I think that the but the the highs are very high like watching the BMW last year
was unbelievable
I mean, you know God like him going toe-to-toe with
Bryson and vanquishing him and just, he's just executing people.
So I think that I enjoy watching it
when he is in that killer mode,
but you're right, Randy, he needs to get it done more consistently.
I would love solid to apologize for Hadecki's 72.
I will apologize for that.
It's not good.
And I'll apologize for little Corey Conner's 76.
Okay, that's not good.
The 72s are where I have the most disappointment.
Hadecki, speed, and more of a cause. I disappointment. Hideki, Speed and Morakawa.
Cause I thought all three guys legitimately
absolutely can win the tournament.
And they still might,
but just talking strictly disappointment today,
that's where I would put it.
Yeah, so can I put 76?
Yeah, at least he fully ejected.
Can I put more of Kawa's 72 in a different category
than the other two guys just cause he was in the afternoon wave.
I think it's totally fair.
Yeah, Speed and Hideki were disappointing. doing a different category than the other two guys just because he was in the afternoon wave. I think it's totally fair. Yeah.
Speed and Hadecki were disappointing.
But I also kind of think Morca was like the best player in the world.
So yeah, you keep saying that.
You know, I was telling you, I was watching all those YouTube videos starting to get radicalized
about Morca, maybe not being the wind player.
And I don't know.
We'll see you tomorrow.
I will say also, can't lay his wins are very much.
A lot of them are pin your ears back and
go get birdies kind of wins.
Like he's won the Shriners.
That was only nine under that year, but one of them, moral at 19, the Zozo at 23, Memorial
again at 13, BMW at 27, Torch Ampuchip was at 21, but he started a lot under.
Yeah, I don't know.
He, when it's been tough and just when you have to hit the super boring shots on repeat, it doesn't seem like he's had the patience for it. I think
that's very fair criticism or analysis. Can we talk about the sand? What, do we do apologize
for the ROM? What did ROM shoot? 73. Oh, apologizing. What would we be apologizing for?
Well, just, you know, kind of who you disappointed in. Well, I know I picked him not to win this disappointment.
Okay.
I, Randy, I was just going to give you a chance to, you know,
maybe we can, we can fully do it tomorrow,
but just to peacock a little bit if you're interested.
No, no, no, no, come on, come on.
That brings him no joy, come on.
The sand in the bunkers, big topic of conversation.
Let me just say the sand is sick, and I love that it actually makes the pros think about
their shots and it's difficult to hit out of end of story.
I don't know how you could have a different opinion than that.
I couldn't agree.
It's a rubber stand for me called a hazard for a reason.
Yeah, don't hit it in there.
Come on guys.
If you don't want it, don't hit it in there.
I'll disagree when it's way too much sand in it, that's different than this.
Because I think this still requires some skill.
And you can still see guys take a shot.
Yes.
And yes, sometimes it's random.
Sometimes there's a rock that gets in between, ball in the club face.
Don't hit it where there's a bunch of fucking rocks.
You know, I don't know what to tell you.
I think it's no skill when there's too much sand and everything plugs, like all the shots
are at the same.
But this is like, no, can you hit this exact shot?
Or I think it's, I'm wondering if guys are charting which bunkers are more bald than the
other ones.
Like because I don't think they're all uniform from what I've heard.
They don't all look the same.
And I would encourage every golf course on earth.
Like the fact that all, there's this like weird, you know, thing that all bunkers need
to be consistent is such a fucking misstep.
That's so stupid.
And you should have a perfect lie in them.
It's a joke.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's a hazard.
We need to start, come on with a phrase for like just an anti-rakes.
We need to abolish rakes.
Get rid of them.
No more rakes.
Come on.
Make them true hazards, Randy.
I know you're on board with me.
Who's with me? I'm out on that. I'm out on tough. And you're just punishing the guy who's last. Yeah, it's going off last.
Let's that that's tough.
I feel so often I'm with you. But in practice, we need to figure out. I think you can.
You can.
Rakes are great. You can make the bunkers
Penal and difficult without like having to have them be not raked would be much like pop bunkers in Scotland
You're not like oh thank god. It's raked in here. You're like fuck why am I in here? Yeah, and they just don't they don't design them like that anymore
And and also what I will say about the bunkers is
It's one of those things too that gives you context still like when a guy does hit a really good shot
You understand how good of a shot it was yes, right? Like we saw Scotty hit it in that bunker on
17 maybe it was and he just Right? Like we saw Scotty hit it in that bunker on 17, maybe it was.
And he just hits it up there to three feet.
And after watching guys bone it all over the place, it's like, oh, that must have been
a really good shot. And the scores out of that bunker were nothing like what you
would expect from the golfers because it plenty of green to work with.
And not a lot of guys were getting that up and down.
Part of threes, I see the note in here is both mean and a little redundant question mark.
I think TC pointed this out, which I agreed.
It feels like a bit of just a, yeah, they're really, really long.
Like go get them.
And I'm guessing they'll set them up pretty similar from day to day as far as like round
one, round two.
I feel like they usually do with the Part three and then kind of maybe move them around
on the weekend, but I could be wrong.
I hope they get a little more variety. Ben made a good point when he popped in
to say that they they look a lot different or the you know, the aesthetic is very different.
But I think when they go to the same shot, same shot and same yardage, it seems like. So
maybe, you know, maybe they can move the tease around. I'll say, yeah, the the sixth is
two was 218 yards played to a 3.1 average 11 was 165. It played to 3.1 as well. So yeah, the, the sixth was 218 yards played to a 3.1 average. 11 was 165.
It played to 3.1 as well.
So like it's not like length is what's needed.
It's awesome.
Awesome, Pannon.
I didn't like that one.
That could be win related.
There could be a lot of factors there.
Eight was, you know, super difficult, but it was only 3.385 scoring average.
Time for the second most difficult hole, but not a crazy high rate.
The par threes did rank a little little harder. But it's sweet on the you know, par 70 when like the par three's aren't just,
you know, they're not easy. Like that's that's really strengthening the one. This is a
course. A classic golf course thing. Par three's used to be way more brutal. Like yeah, you would
hit drivers on par three's back in the day. So a lot of classic golf courses have brutal par three's
and two scary Perry Maxwell,
the two like the way how far the ball goes now,
you don't hit long irons into par four.
So like they need to give you like three shots.
Like hey, we need to test your long irons right here.
Like let's do that here.
So I agree there, they haven't been the most interesting
holes to watch.
But I've really enjoyed this golf course.
So, should we do it?
How far back is too far back?
I know it's Randy's favorite game.
How far back is too far back, Randy?
Been really mulling on this.
I'm gonna be a little conservative.
I think three over is still in it.
Okay.
I think four over and worse is too far back.
Man, I was going to say even.
So ramen DJ yourself.
Tell him I had went to.
I know that that's only five shots though.
You might.
Can I run through a quick thing?
I looked this up earlier.
The last 10 PGA winners where they were after round one in 2021.
Mikkelsen was in eighth in 2020.
Morakow was in 33rd.
Keppko was in first in 19
and he was tied for 33rd in 18.
JT was T44 in 17.
Jimmy Walker was first.
Jason Day was tied for third.
Rory was T4, Duffner T12, Rory T2.
I feel like so many of those,
like just Harding Park and Belreve
and some of those specifically,
like we're so much more set up for birdies than this golf course
It seems like it's going to be though and even like the 33rd. They're getting guys at even so even right now is t27
one overs t 38 so
Feels like a that the outer bands there for me. I think my my my bit would be that four unders too far back,
currently, no four under because
for is gonna win.
Got you.
But I think my actual answer would be walk right in that,
would be one over.
Do you see I'm gonna let you know, I think you can see.
One over being too far back.
One over is the cutoff.
I'm sorry, two over is out, which,
Tron, I know you're listening, you can still,
I think it leached about a thousand one right now at plus two, if you're
interested.
You're cutting some.
So disrespectful to leash.
I think what TC would say.
Exactly.
I think plus three is not out of this golf tournament.
Cody, what do you got for us?
Yeah, the only thing I was going to say to add on a solid stats here is that of the 10
major tournaments that have been held at Southern Hills.
Love this.
Eight out of the 10 winners have been leaders of round one.
10 out of the 10 have been the 36 whole leaders.
So it is 10 out of 10.
That once you 10 out of 10 36.
You taste that Randy.
No, you got to remember that's all pre renovation.
The Nick Rivas back.
This is a new golf course. Does the course is our new course record then Randy? No, you got to remember, that's all pre-renovation. The Nick Rive is back.
This is a new course, of course.
Does the course, is there a new course record then, Randy?
Should there be a new course record?
That's interesting.
That's up to them, I don't know.
I honestly, I don't know how much it changed.
You guys ready to give away some cash?
Or do you have anything else you want to tackle?
No, I think that's great.
All right, so here's how this is going to go.
We are going to ask you in the comments to reply, you're going to give us your best,
listen carefully here, you have to include your cash tag in this if you want to get paid out on this. Describe today in three words and we are going to select, Cody's going to select the best
ones and we're going to send everyone that gets shown up on the screen, you're getting $50 from
cash app. How fun is that?
And they don't have to be, they don't have to be all agitives.
No, whatever you want.
Three words.
Got to include your cash tag.
Make it cohesive.
You know, make it fun.
How would you do it?
Uh, very easy.
Mick Rib is back.
Damn it.
That's it.
So don't put Mick Rib is back.
They're gonna get hired.
It took the 50 bucks.
Damn, that's what I was gonna do.
Real quick, there's a lot going on.
We got a lot of people in the live show.
I appreciate it.
We're almost up to 3,000 people falling along.
And there's a lot of comments and it's hard to buffer these as we go.
So make sure you get your tag in the same line.
I'm not fishing for tags out of here.
All right.
He's not doing it, Randy.
Put your stuff down.
Sarge is not doing it.
You put your tag.
I'm not searching. Sarge, I'm putting one up for you right Randy. Put your stuff down. Sarge is not doing it. You put your tag. I'm not searching.
Sarge, I'm putting one up for you right now.
UPS delivery cable.
That is epic for a fucking variant.
For Andy.
That's, if you didn't hear, I'm sure maybe we'll get into this on Sunday night pod or something
we get into a couple more news things.
UPS has terminated, I believe it's relationship with Lee Westwood.
And it seems, this is speculation,
but it seems like Louis Ustazen also not wearing these.
He's definitely not wearing the logo.
It's speculation that that's why,
but after he applied for a release for the live golf scene,
UPS said, we gone.
I bet Westwood's gonna come out and say,
no, I quit first.
Yeah, I can't fire me.
I quit already.
I, the super deep state in me once to point out
that the Saudi investment fund
is heavily invested into FedEx.
Two close camera man there from Paul.
That's the big topic.
That's good stuff.
Shout out to the guy who said,
I'm not on cash app.
Yeah, that's all fucking point.
Yeah.
Yeah, thank you.
You're probably not gonna win. What would I use? Hey, yeah, thank you. You're probably not gonna win.
What would I use?
Hey, yeah, from the guy that's probably not gonna get in.
I think the three, I think the cat's drip is what I think.
That's drip, that sums it up for me today.
I think you're wasting another article.
Cat drip.
You're right, you're right, it doesn't have to be a sentence.
You know, you're right, all right.
I'm not gonna, I can't win now.
Big, what do you got?
I would've said my breathing space. That's a good one, I like right. All right. I'm not gonna I can't win now. I think what do you got? I've just said my breathing space
That's a good one. I like that. That's a good one
Ronnie. Yeah, Rory fucking Maca Roy. I think that's that's very straightforward. I love that that's red meat $50 right there bang
Something around course and I'm trying to think about
Rocks not sand. Bags of sand. Bags of sand.
Bags of sand.
Bags of sand.
Bustamark stupid.
That's stupid, Randy.
Core sand.
God, what are we doing?
Oh my god.
SVP ballin out from Grayson Hubert.
No relation to Justin Hubert or Grayson Murray.
I love it. Good mash up there mashup. That's really good.
It's a good mashup.
SVP is an artist, man.
He's just so seamless.
All right.
What was, let me ask you guys this.
What was the, we'll go, while we're waiting for Randy to figure out his bags of sand.
What was the, what was the best thing you saw to the, keep firing these as fast as you can, Cody.
We got some money to give away.
Say again, what was the best thing you saw today?
I loved watching number 12. The first time around with Rory and Tiger and Spieth watching three guys play in three
different ways.
I audibly gasped when Rory took his line on 12 because he hit it over about 5,000
perl.
What's he doing?
He can't take that line.
And it just drops in so soft in the fairway and then he backs it up by sticking the wedge
and making Bernie it was just awesome.
Hunter Freeberg so much perspective.
I think that's the cat.
I think that's exactly what it was.
Neil, what was your favorite thing?
Well, I was going to say that Worry hitting those wedges.
Just control of his wedges is so.
It's like you feel like a father watching their kid like start, you know, finally getting the
starting five and just like I finally got his chance. He's ballin out after after being stinky on
the JV squad. It's great stuff. I like that one Taylor Horton. It's, you know, not a comical one,
but just commercial free golf. Like what what was better than that and not to be my
Opic and like yeah, why don't I just wish they'd get rid of all the commercials
I know that's not gonna work, but it's pretty clear. There's a middle ground here
The best thing I saw today go ahead. Go ahead. I'm all right. No go ahead. I was gonna say that after you after you
Sheffler no no I insist on chappin daily diet cooks. Oh God, that actually, that picture of him
in the 69 cartes, really, really good stuff.
I think he just puts that on all of his carts.
Do you think he really put the sticker on?
No, but it made for a good tweet, I thought.
Okay.
I think the guy who loves tagging with sticky, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Well, that's why I asked.
I mean, if you think it's supplier, yeah, yeah. Well, that's why I asked. I mean, if anything is supplier. Yeah.
You know some kid in the car barn though.
Oh, for sure.
Yeah, that's a,
you know, getting into the car.
Let's get it.
Let's get it.
Just a great knocking by that kid.
Does it have to be a topless cart?
It's a lot of ways we can get that.
I don't, I don't know.
That's a great question.
It's a great question.
What, and do you think you can I feel like I'm entitled to a car? So It's a great question. And do you think that's a problem?
I feel like I've had to title to a cart.
So Kat came out very quickly and said he's not gonna take it.
We won't do it.
Yeah, which I don't know if he's entitled to one.
So daily gets one through the American Disabilities Act.
Okay.
Because he has osteoarthritis, I believe.
I think that sounds right.
I don't know how to say those words, but Cody, do you know?
I don't want to hear any slander either. I, from my fellow disabled brother out there. No, no, no, no, I'm honestly
like, I'm saying like, maybe, but I guess the, the cat would have to apply for some, you
got to be confirmed disability. I don't know how to say that properly. What are you, what
are you going to say? Yeah, Cody made nervous deal. No, he has to declare himself.
Say it.
Say it.
Hey guys.
He has to declare himself handicapped or disabled.
Is that what we, is that how daily has a cart?
Yes.
So it has to be confirmed by somebody outside.
It's not the tour of saying, okay.
I think.
That's correct.
And I, I will say I have never thought about that,
but I think it probably does have to be a topless card.
Otherwise, you'd have a competitive advantage.
You'd be in the shade.
Yeah.
Yeah.
There's now that I think back to all the like the Casey Martin, I feel like I always had a
topless card as well.
And I think it's, you got to get to be able to get under the ropes and things like that.
I don't know if you have to ever drive outside the ropes.
Is that why you don't have a topless?
That's why all the rules officials don't have topless cards.
That's a fantastic point. How about that? So Davis Cody, I appreciate you
giving my guys do a shout out. Sync not sync. That's that's his three words.
Magnum Gwire Southern Shills Concessions tough. It was a tough week for the concessions.
Although Cody, well, I don't know if I don't know if that's off the record or not.
I have Cody had some conversations regarding regarding the concessions. If you'd like to
speak to that by all means, if not, we can keep
we can move on. I spoke to a person at the highest level of a source close to
the situation, a close personal friend of ours. Ted Bishop, everything that he
does. No, not him. Thank God. But he said he recognized me. He knew exactly
what was going on
We had a caught up little small chat and then said, you know
We are taking this into consideration and it will be fixed by next year
So no changes this year, but he is recognizing the issue and we'll see what happened. We hear you
I know I hear you. I hear you. We hear you. This is me hearing you. I hear you
I'm choosing this comment from Will Johnson,
Norman Shartek.
Norman Shartek, that's really good.
I saw it, God, I buried it,
but somebody who said, I'm loving it,
meeting like McDonald's, McRib is back.
Oh, that's good stuff.
If I could go back and find that one,
I'll try to find that.
I love this segment, by the way.
This is, I don't know if this is a good radio
for everyone listening on the podcast, but.
Can I give some shine to somebody that I was critical about thinking about like the best things I saw today sure
I don't know if you guys happen to see
Sheffler play 18 he hit his drive into the creek and then dropped and hit just a gorgeous high cut into 18 great
To about I don't know what eight, 10 feet made us par.
It was, it had to be the best part of the day.
He was the eye test.
Sheffler was, we didn't really talk much about him.
I mean, kind of, I don't, I won't say went through adversity today, but he felt like he
was, he was redlining a little bit.
It was, it was fun to watch actually.
17 green. He was, it's impossible.
He was, he did, man.
Yeah.
But over like a missed putt.
Like, it's got some flashbacks, you know, I mean, who I don't know who the answer was,
but he's like, Ted Scott's used to his previous employer maybe bickering a little bit,
but maybe that's got his chef.
But I enjoyed that.
I forget.
Is he going five, too, was really good.
Oh God, that was, yeah, that was, that was the best thing I saw today.
Was that golf shot?
Um, Mr. Charlie Posner, I don't know if that's a zero or an O at the end of there. So that's not on me dog. If you want to confirm in the comments, that's good
there. And then start not taking that on at least. Oh, I mean, use golf.
Use golf for a lady J. I did hear. It's a way up.
Heard a rumor today. This is not been confirmed. We're going to dig into this. Apparently
P has no PXG clubs in the bag. That's fantastic, which is wild.
We need to confirm though. That's crazy, man, that I know like every player who's gone to
PXG their career is just falling off the tank. It's just, it's crazy that it happened
to him also. Nobody makes golf clubs the way we do. Who could have seen that coming, man?
That's crazy. Not petty officer James Han though. He's been resurgently.
That's true.
Yeah.
What's the way that?
I wonder what his bag's.
Let's take a look at his setup.
Hatch thinks.
What are you talking about?
It looks like.
So peace still is rocking the PXG head cover.
And at the beginning, I thought it looked like a ping driver,
which he had a ping driver in the big last year.
But it's like by that iron grind works.
I'm going to grind out a scholarship.
A new prototype of theirs.
Anything else before we wrap it up for the evening?
I got nothing else.
I'm thrilled.
I had a graded to watch ESPN Plus tomorrow morning.
We do
got to give a shout out of course to our friends at original penguin. I showed them that
earlier. That is definitely on me. But original penguin.com you can see is rock and our original
penguin as always. Randy was didn't must not have got the memo on this.
He's rock and store down only at that. We appreciate that. Original penguin has unbelievable
offerings throughout their entire catalog.
You can go check that out.
They got hoodies, t-shirts, shorts.
I'm wearing original Penguin boxers these days.
Shoes, I debarro some Hawaiian shirts from...
So, my Hawaiian shirts first neighborhood party.
Unbelievable.
I dropped the ball.
I did not have an Hawaiian shirt and Neil came to my rescue.
I fit in great, so thank you very much for that.
But they were huge sponsors of ours for the season five of Taurus sauce.
Was that season five that was in the Carolinus?
And they've been great supporters of our content ever since.
And so help them out.
Support them at originalpenguin.com.
They got some great spring offerings.
You know what I highly recommend?
We're all the time, we're going to sweat shorts.
Where I'm all, they're like the only ones that make them.
They're great.
They're fantastic sleeping as well.
So really.
Yeah, I do that sleeping those.
Oh, yeah, really.
T.C. wanted us to shout out Mito,
Pereira, I don't know if we're done with
the original Penguin Reed.
So this is me showing you on Mito Pereira.
Mito Pereira, I had him in a DK lineup T.C.
He'll be very happy to know I'm gonna win $30
in that as of right now.
So I go off left.
No, no.
Good day for the Chalayans.
Yes. What did Nemen finish? I, good day for the Chileans. Yes.
What did Neiman finish?
I know you were bitching about him not enough.
You shot 68 in the afternoon.
It was a great round of golf.
That is.
Good bounce back from last Sunday.
Neiman's gonna be really fun to watch tomorrow.
Flying it low, keeping it under the wind.
I'm so excited to watch.
I'm so excited.
I woke up so fucking.
I was so giddy to watch golf this morning.
I sprung out of bed, poured the coffee.
Like I just, going to a really cool golf course
just elevates the viewing experience so much.
I know a lot of that stuff doesn't matter
to a lot of people, probably most of the people
that listen to this, it does matter pretty greatly,
but man, it was just exciting to tune on
into ESPN plus this morning.
And let me just pour some gas on that fire
and that if TC's windy app is correct,
which we have no reason to believe it's not. And the conditions are the most brutal from like that
nine o'clock to 10 o'clock window tomorrow. That's right when we were commercial free on ESPN plus
site like wake up put some hot coffee in the Yeti mug and just settle in and watch some blood back.
Still be hop by the end of the day.
I made it.
It's still hot.
Today's Thursday.
You know what I'm saying.
I don't know if we're supposed to keep tomorrow as like a secret.
We had a lot of people asking for our views on Joe Buck and the caddies new show.
So I think we're going to probably hold some comments
for a couple of days on that.
But what did you guys think?
I think it's a watch lot of it.
I'll give you my review after 3 o'clock tomorrow on ESPN2.
And we'll see.
Yeah, I would just recommend turning in around 3 o'clock.
Yeah, 3 o'clock.
Check in around there.
I think tomorrow they're going to have a huge bounce back day.
They got quite ready for you. They got a great lineup ready for tomorrow and I'm pretty excited.
I will say this. I think the studio set up. I like to get like their step guy in the corner.
Like, you know, it has it has some foundational stuff that could work. I think they're going to
work some kinks out there. I'm trying to stuff. Are we gonna watch the golf or are we gonna we're gonna
bullshit? Is there any way we can make that a little more cohesive as we entered tomorrow?
Maybe you should give him some feedback. Day one, listen, we want new stuff in golf.
Yeah, we're gonna fully support it. And if you don't like it, don't watch it. It's kind
of it's an option. Yeah, it's an option. Secondary option. Totally. And I think I think
it had been a lot of people in understand where we're saying, so it's all he. Yeah. It's an option. Secondary option. Totally. I think it would be nice.
It would be nice.
People aren't understanding where we're saying,
so it's all going to be on the mark three.
Yeah, so you should tune in and you should
maybe still let out the band in third.
I can't.
I was going to do another at least three or four jokes,
alluding to it, but thank you for saving everybody
for that, Cody.
It's very good. What else we got, anything? I don't I think who leads after tomorrow?
Rodriguez McKill, right? Dude, I think it's I'm gonna say Rory as well. I mean, based on the stats and
I'm going with history. What I what I'm knocking it. God, I don't even want to speak this. What I'm
not gonna be able to handle is Rory just boat racing everybody
Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and then spitting the bid on Sunday and kicking it away.
That's not his MO though.
If he's going to spit it, I think he'll spit it sooner.
Dude, you know what?
Like, definitely will regret this by tomorrow,
but everyone's kind of trailing off by this point of the show anyways.
This feels like a Rory as a three- shot lead going in the weekend, if not four.
Like I threw it up way too early,
but kind of like, do this leaderboard reminds me
of watching the 2011 US Open,
because he was 600 at one point,
no one else was in within three shots.
And like, that's how he played those majors back in that day.
And that's just what today felt like.
It could be all gone by tomorrow,
but man, this felt different than any little hint
of anything we've seen from him in the last several years.
It did.
There's some muscle memory there, Randy.
Look out.
So we'll see.
That's all we can do.
All we can do is wait and see.
We will see.
So thank you for watching.
We will do that.
In closing, too, if people haven't seen Weak in the Life, something great to catch up
on.
If ESPN Plus isn't phenomenal job DJ and crew
very, very special and want to shout out to if people want to know more information about that.
We did a podcast for the Ness members. So if you're interested in joining the Ness,
an other key note here is that we are less than 100 subscribers away from 100,000 subscribers on YouTube.
Which is huge.
And I know everybody hates doing this.
But if you don't subscribe, we would appreciate it.
Of course, give a thumbs up on the way out on the podcast, rate it, all that stuff matters
to us.
The older, the older you get a plaque, you get to one of those.
I didn't hear that.
I know that.
It was always a big deal. I hope they're still doing that. We'll put the we'll put the plaque in the studio here.
Yeah.
Really cool.
And only thing Cody, thank you very much.
That's that's great.
If you enjoyed the week in the life, the Stanford women's golf team, how about this?
What how about this for timing, Randy?
Compete at the NCAA championship tomorrow.
Oh, come on.
Yeah.
I know isn't that so crazy that we that we posted it at that time.
But yeah, if you were a competes at the NCAA championship tomorrow. Oh, come on. Yeah. If you coincidence, I know. Isn't that so crazy that we that we posted it at that time.
But yeah, if you were looking to follow more golf from the lady cardinal,
they fired up tomorrow in at Greyhawk, a place Cody probably knows well, actually.
Some nightmares there.
So you can follow that on golf stat.
I would imagine it's probably the easiest place to follow that.
And then we got coverage on Monday and Tuesday. if they if they make it to match play so

Forever.
The Yeti keeps calling it up.
Oh, I got Barbara.
That's how my, that's, that kind of how my dad sounds too.
He kind of sounds like Nicholas.
All right.
Nice, man.
Check out this ice.
It's still cold.
Man, it's four days later.
