I'm going to be the right club today.
Yeah!
That's better than most.
How about him?
That is better than most.
Better than most.
Expect anything different. Better than most
Ladies and gentlemen welcome back to the no-ling a podcast and Oppenheimer emergency reaction show
My name is DJ joined by my associates Randy and Neil Randy. Hello. Thanks for joining my program
Three days in a row. Great to be back.
Great to have you. And yeah, oh, sorry. I'll stop talking.
No, I'm jumping all over. You've got no flow going already back from the
front. He's returned from England to conquering hero. That is
uncle Neil. Neil, how are you, man?
Doing well. It's good to be back. Stay side.
You guys weren't in France.
I'll say that.
You know, it got a decent night's sleep.
I'm happy to be here.
And yeah, let's get to it.
Did you sleep outside just for kind of a reaclimation period?
Make sure you didn't get the pins.
No, I thought about pulling the Tom Hanks cast away move and sleep on the floor.
You know, it's been, it's been so long since now.
But pretty smooth.
Otherwise, I got a little sick of sleeping on planes, but we're back at it.
Had a had a good day catching up watching golf.
And I've real, I got to see the, you know, all 18 holes, because it gave me
much better perspective on the course, which we'll get into.
Well, I can't wait to talk about it.
Before we, of course, have one more person joining us before we bring them in.
Neil, we got to remind everybody that we are brought to you guys by high noon, high noon sunsips.
Summer time is here, which means the limited edition high noon pool pack is back. It has peach. It has lime.
It has two limited edition flavors. Guava, which you'll remember I was enjoying yesterday, and kiwi, which we're back on today,
we're back on my kiwi shit, Randy.
Kiwi's good.
Kiwi's so good, I think it's my favorite.
It's my favorite.
It's made for days by the pool on the greens.
Even lakeside, we discussed lakes yesterday.
Please refer to yesterday's podcast,
if you'd like, a small insight on our lake opinions.
Fill your cooler with the essentials, high noon,
and ice. Get out there with your friends to enjoy the sun. The high noon pool the essentials high noon and ice. Get out

a lot of things.
We're going to be doing
a lot of things.
We're going to be doing
a lot of things.
We're going to be doing
a lot of things.
We're going to be doing
a lot of things.
We're going to be doing
a lot of things.
We're going to be doing
a lot of things.
We're going to be doing
a lot of things.
We're going to be doing
a lot of things.
We're going to be doing
a lot of things.
We're going to be doing a lot of things. We're going to be doing a lot of up and he is going to try to hop on when he can I can assure you
I did press families fine. There are no emergencies
So he feel free to flame him at your own your own peril. You don't have to feel bad
But he will not be here right away. So we had to scramble for a last minute guest a guy who needs no introduction
You know the typical beloved host of this podcast, Chris
Solly Solomon, Beaper in hand, I'm going to assume we have no kid yet since since you're
available to hop on the podcast.
I've been watching golf all day, so I don't know yet.
I really, I'd be, that would be news to me if that was the case, but thank you so much
for having me on your program.
I just want to say I'm not my brother's keeper.
Number one, his choice to decline all media tonight
is coming from him and him alone,
and his team has made no other comments.
So,
and you,
are you gonna tell us what is going on
or do you not know that is all the information that I had?
When we know more,
the people will know more.
We're literally doing this live for the people,
this is not a bit either.
I think I may have figured it out
based on some external evidence.
Am I allowed to comment on what that might be?
Sure, certainly.
If you look at our shared calendars, our man had some flight scheduled.
He did, I don't know if you listen to the show, he did say that he placed some fair
lives on flights.
I don't know that he would have pulled the trigger on those, but that's, you know, it's
just, just, just,
As it does look like, if you look at the know, it's just, just, just add it to my thing. Is it does look like if you look at the
calendar, it would say flight to Washington and then want to
Frankfurt tonight, if the calendar is to be believed here.
So first I'm hearing of this. I don't know. He, like I
said, it was something has something immediate has come up
that when we know more, you will know more. He keeps the the take a year to see on his way to the jacks airport.
He'll and I just want over over Butler Boulevard getting, getting to 95.
Oh God, I just hate it for my guy.
I just fear the court of public opinion is not going to rule in favor of T.C.
Being absent right now.
The only thing I would add to your investigative journalism
there, Sally, is just the fact that he kept shouting out
the radio broadcast today.
Like he, he clearly was listening to PJ tour radio
somewhere.
So I don't know where he is, but just, like I said,
would we know more, you will know more,
he said he was gonna try to hop on.
So he certainly has a link. If he wants to hop on, he can hop on. Anyways,
enough about us. Talk about round three of the open championship where little Brian
Harmon has a five shot lead. You know, as well, just skip to this whole round today, right?
We're right, we're right back where we left off.
Yeah, we could have simmed it all, saved all of ourselves a lot of time and energy and think about how many things
we could have done today.
We could have gone out in the exercise,
we could have gotten fresh air,
we could have gone shopping, we could have so many things.
I know I'm usually the grumpy one,
so you guys tell me if and where you disagree,
but man, I was today was very boring.
It just, when the conditions aren't there at the open championship, I thought Holi Lake did not stand up.
If it's not going to be baked out and if it's going to be as soft as it was,
there just weren't that many interesting shots in my opinion.
Like, even around the greens, the pitch shots, I didn't really see that many interesting shots in my opinion, like even around the greens, the pitch shots, like I didn't really see that many difficult or very creative shots.
I don't know.
I just found it all pretty mundane and overall pretty lacking.
Solid week.
We have not heard much from you this week with response to that or just kind of overall
opinions on on the week.
I don't disagree, Randy, but I would struggle to come up with a
Ling Skolf course that does hold up when it's soft and there's no conditions.
Like all of them are kind of turkey shoots when there's no conditions.
The whole deal is out of the brine.
Norman.
Well, it's kind of push back on it being a push over today.
I thought those guys were grinding.
Now, I don't think the course was playing easy.
I don't think there were any fireworks though.
And you could feel it almost in the crowd.
None of the hometown boys were playing well.
Tommy Schutz even par with one birdie.
It just felt like everybody was pissed off.
So that's one thing, but that doesn't mean that it was,
like, Ram kind of set the stage for like,
oh my god, these guys are gonna go,
you know, it's gonna be electric today.
And then the horses just didn't run.
They just didn't run the race.
It was like a lightning warning or something.
They couldn't send the horses out.
Or they did, but they were like,
three shots easier today.
Yeah, it's way, way, way easier today.
I didn't feel way, way easier though.
It's because we watched Tommy all day.
Well, I mean, Harmon did it not,
well, Neil, and I'm gonna cut you some slack
because we had radically different perspectives
the first two days, but today felt nothing like the first two days.
Which I felt so much easier.
I was kind of looking at as a little bit of a positive, to be honest, I greatly, greatly
enjoyed the first two days.
I love watching guys move their chest piece around the board, and then I kind of like when
you get a major, and like it is totally different, right?
When switches, conditions change a little bit. you get to almost see a different golf course
and how guys attack it and how, you know, if they can take advantage and who can rise to
the moment and who can't.
And then we were talking before it came on, Randy.
After a while, I kind of kind of felt like Thanksgiving dinner where I just kind of felt
full and there was like too many birdies and, you know, none of the later courses really,
really tasted all that good to me. But I, you know, I enjoyed the hell out of out of my John Rom souffle to open the day.
I mean, that was, was it.
You got to put up on the teasers.
We're totally.
Totally.
Yeah, I was putting.
Did I need it?
Which is pretty true to my Thanksgiving, you know, scouting.
Too many shrimp, you know, shrimp cocktail was excellent.
You know, I had a couple of bloodies to kick things off.
And then I got a little sleepy.
I feel you.
And I'm looking down the leaderboard.
You guys are right.
The scores are good.
You got 69, 66, 63, 66.
I think, well, I'm just trying to unpack what you're saying because there wasn't much
electricity, right?
Which is kind of what I felt like.
I felt like I was seeing Jason Day struggle.
It was almost in spots where he didn't expect him to. like nobody struggled with 17. Let's use that as an example.
You're looking for fireworks there like somebody eject somebody do something crazy, right?
Both positive or negative 18 same thing like somebody like blow it out of bounds like give me something and
Both of those holes just didn't really have a lot of fireworks coming down the stretch and And Neil, I think if I may, you kind of jogged one more thought was because Brian Harmon
had such a big lead coming into the day, like if he didn't exist, right, then today would
have been way more exciting because you have a bunched up leaderboard starting at 7 under
guys are jockeying, but when you have a guy so far out in front
and then you bring in these benign conditions and he just goes about it, it just made for a day that
wasn't that exciting. I would have much rather have seen a very difficult condition day
and to see if Brian Harmon, what he does with a five shot lead when the wind's blowing and it's
playing difficult. Now hold on, that's in its playing. Sure. Difficult.
Now, like, hold on.
That's a great point.
Now, we're placed Brian Harman, a guy with, let's say it's Cameron Young, who's got a
five shot lead.
Do you feel differently?
I don't think so.
Okay.
We're about wrong.
Not for Cam Young.
I don't know if I feel differently for it.
Like, I'd be excited just personally if it was like Max, I guess, but yeah, I'm not sure
if there's a guy
Because there's some guys where like if Rory had a five shot lead, I'd probably feel differently. I see
Who is on that list like when Tiger used to have a five shot lead we go nuts, right?
Yeah, I'm trying to figure out like where that because I get what you're saying about Harmon
He's a guy as as my football coach. you're saying about Harmon. He's a guy.
As my football coach, he's not a dude.
He's a guy.
Right.
So who are the dudes?
I think I think Roy's on that list.
I think it's always like, we say this all the time, but it's kind of like the, you know,
when you get to like a really big lead, it's like, you're either like rooting for drama
or you're rooting for like something historic to happen.
Right. And when you have one of the big thoroughbreds out there,
it's a lot easier to root for like,
oh man, this is gonna be a historic like landmark performance
in my golf watching career.
And no offense to Brian Harmon,
maybe he'll go rattle off another two or three majors,
seems unlikely based on history,
but this probably isn't that, right?
And so it's a little hard to get too wrapped up.
But at the same time, like, you know, when Scotty was doing this at the
Masters last year, I don't think I really felt all that much joy either.
And that players would be an example of that too.
I think we were all complaining a little bit Sunday at, you know,
that TV sawgrass. Maybe maybe that's for sure.
But so I would come to the golf course. I have been harping on this a lot, but it's like.
To watch I watched a lot of Thursday Friday and that consistent in off the left wind on the back nine
asks a very specific question.
And I've watched a lot of the right handed golfer just wipe that shot all afternoon.
Rory could not hit the proper shot.
It takes if it's the only tournament all year long
where you have to hit these style of shots.
It's gotta be the right window.
It's gotta be the right start line
and it's gotta be the right shape.
A lot of PGA Tour Golf and a lot of major championship golf,
you can send everything up in the air
through the same window and get a pretty similar
and consistent result.
This was asking a specific question on these days.
Harman had a huge advantage being able to kind of hit little cut shots into the end to off the left, off the left wind. And Tommy Fleetwood hitting
the low like riser, started right, but draw it back into the left to right wind was a very, very
valuable shot. And those two guys were the ones that separated themselves from the field. Harmon,
obviously more so than the rest. And when that wind died down today, or even when it was coming
out of a totally different direction,
it just asked a totally different question.
I mean, some dudes were getting up there
almost driving the 11th green on the early part of the day.
When shifted back to that original direction,
but just was not as spicy,
and it just exacerbates everything.
The strategy that goes into,
can I take this bunker on?
Can I land this here and still stop it?
And all of the things that make Link's golf special
just went away with a little bit of rain
and not much conditions today, which is, there's no way it's fault.
You can't do anything about that.
We've long said for this championship in the R&A, as long as the conditions dictate the scoring.
And look, it just doesn't the same exact, it's not the same experience as what we had
the first two days.
I don't, I don't, I can't place that blame anyone on anyone.
Totally.
It ebbs and flows.
Can I, can I do the, the boring part now? You got to hand it, you got to hand it to blame on anyone. Totally. It ebbs and flows. Can I do the boring part now?
You got to hand it to Brian Harman.
Yes.
You do.
I think we got to have that conversation.
I don't even think that's a boring part.
You do got to hand it to him.
He came out of the gates wobbly.
Bogey's on two of his first four.
Tommy's flashing early.
Birdie's the second. It looks. Tommy's flashing early. You know, birdies the second.
It looks like he's about to, you know,
kind of be that dude,
which is gonna be a conversation
shout out to guys and dudes.
Neil, I'm sure we're gonna get there.
But Harmon, like you could just kind of see it on five, right?
Where he has a little bit of like the two-way miss going
with the irons, like the big block, the big pole.
And then
he just really like settled in on five mid-Birdie and then just kind of didn't really miss
a shot coming in, right? Like just played very, very, very stress-free golf, which he keeps,
like he's kind of a weird interesting like dichotomy to me where like he seems so unflappable
and so like put me in the biggest moment, I don't fucking care. And it almost looks like he's right on the edge
of talking about like how nervous he is
every time he gets in front of the microphone too,
which I actually really like.
He's talking about like how his mind's racing,
what happened at Aaron Hills, trying to control his nerves,
trying to control his thoughts.
And I think that's, if there's any drama to watch tomorrow,
I guess maybe that's kind of all we can root for
is a little bit of an internal struggle.
And they'll, they'll, what do you think about that? I think that's kind of all we all we can roof for is a little bit of an internal struggle. And they'll they'll we think about that.
I think that's phenomenal.
I think he's given given the British media a lot to talk about with his butchering and hunting,
which is awesome.
For turning it.
There's not they're not feeling the the down south Georgia boy.
I think he deserves a ton of credit for playing a really strategic golf like I being out there.
A couple of things jump out it is truly a driving accuracy contest in a lot of ways with how
Kind of unpredictable stuff is when you get into the wispy stuff
And he's just done such a good job hitting the fairway and I mean he's lights out with his putter
Which is you know wise up by five strokes?
So I think Carmen deserves all the credit in the world like I don't want to take away from him
And I think he's you, he has given some thoughtful answers
on interview questions. He's just not like an exciting guy to watch play golf though.
Well, I think he's just like no bullshit. He's just going to like fucking, he just doesn't
care to your narrative and he doesn't care about the crowd and he doesn't care about
the moment. And he just is going to run like right through you. Like I, I think it is
weirdly good demeanor to go out
and like win this by a lot tomorrow.
There was a comment yesterday and it was a good one
and I apologize, maybe they're here again today.
They said, Harman's who we thought or want Kizner to be.
And I think it's kind of playing out this week.
I would say, Jumper jumped out to me from the broadcast.
John Wood had a great analogy.
Randy, I know you may have heard it.
He was like, yeah, I felt like a, you know, basketball game and early on the home team was all jacked
up. The adrenaline's flowing. Tommy cuts it to two. And then the mode just flipped, right? And the,
you know, like, Harman's on the road and doesn't give a shit. He starts, you know, get back in the
game. And he's in a fundamentals, man. He's a lot of clock left. Zinger also had the, like, he's the guy you can drop
in the forest with a pocket knife and a matchbook.
And you come back and find him a month later,
and he's doing great, which about, you know,
10 seconds into that analogy,
I was like, oh fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, where's he going?
Where's he going?
Oh, fuck!
All right, we'll speak, you know, we watched Brian Harmon
on TV, we had a man on the ground who watched him in person.
Let's bring in our guy KVV, Kevin VanValkomer.
How are you out at Poilig?
Fellas, I'm doing well.
A little bit of a rainy day here, but a lovely day.
Neil, good to see you again.
You know, washed off of the tent life.
We had a good time earlier this week.
Great to see you.
Hope many of you.
Don't let the homies around you get upset
about your volume levels.
I really let them get to me a little bit.
Feel like maybe a gay email.
It gave you a little bit of overly cautious advice
about keeping it cool and quiet the other night
that you were very respectful.
But look, I've gotten in fights before
in the media center over the volume
of my voice. So, you know, I just didn't want that to happen to you. I appreciate that. Yeah.
Kev, what was the big takeaway from watching Brian Harmon out there?
Just pretty unflappable. The dude is just really, look, I would say it was five hours of
people singing songs about Tommy Fleetwood over and over and over again.
And we hope he joined by one of them shortly here.
I hope so too.
He has the link.
I hope he still has some joy in his heart after today.
He Brian Harmon actually just came out of his press conference.
He said that some people were saying some unmentionable things about him
and that he was basically just like, you know, just try not to let it affect my golf. Uh, so, you know, again,
I know, Sally, we've talked about as many times the classy English fans. They never, ever
just never a game, never boo, never say anything untoward, uh, shout out all my hitters in England.
But, but you still got to remember what happened at the 99 Ryder Cup.
That's true. They're not going to forget about happened at the 99 rider cup. That's true.
They're not going to forget about that either.
Oh my God.
Rory's kids are still going to take that personally.
Like 20 years from now.
When Neil was worried to like speak at a full volume in the media center and KVV will say this surrounded by
English journalist.
Anyone that's experienced man.
He's a veteran.
I'm not a veteran.
I'm not used to the media center.
I'm just I'm just trying not to get
Find like this is just your first time. No, we promised that we were trying to be gentle
You know like like like bunk and McNulty said when it was your first time I tried to be gentle
so
No, but back to Brian Harman
You know, he there was a deal on a funny controversy
In the last couple days about Brian Harman's pension for hunting. I didn't realize that the English are, you know, I thought this was a normal thing around the world,
but no, a lot of it's a very classist thing here. A lot of people live down on hunting and think
that Brian Harmon is some kind of savage. They're calling him the butcher of oil egg.
Right here. Now there's already butcher out there. Come on.
He and Rob can. The big butcher versus the little butcher.
He kind of said that he liked that nickname. They were calling him the
herminator. He liked that so much. But the butcher voice.
We're more shank. Loin or chop. I hope he embraces the character tomorrow.
I mean, I kind of got to talk a little bit about his hunting. You know, what
hunting is taught him about his golf because that's kind of the main thing
he likes about his life when he's not hunting. And he's basically like patients.
And you know, sometimes we'd go on these Elk hunts in Colorado
and be in there for eight, nine hours, stocking an elk
and then have to pack it and drag it out.
And he's like, you know, that teaches you a perspective.
And I, he was like, I love knowing where my food comes from.
And you know, you could see like some of the, you know,
some of the journals in there like, whoa, this is a whole
another world. But I was like, brother, this is America man.
Like Americans, this is how we roll.
We do butchershit so I will say
Someone funny in my mansion, so listen you got to understand it the only ethical way to kill animals in England is to drop haddock and hot oil so
I do have a couple other Brian harming questions, but before I get to them kbv. I have I have another question for you
Did you know we have our own rangefinder carrying case now?
Oh my god, I did act, you know, this, I got them at my house.
They're fabulous.
I cannot wait to, you know, my kid is already jealous that she doesn't have one on her own
rangefinder, so, you know, we'll see if we can get that happen.
We partnered with our friends at Precision Pro Golf to customize the NX10 rangefinder with

Rangefinder is a tank.
I talked at length the other day about continuing
to run over my rangefinder with a golf cart.
Can't see.
I can't, yeah, exactly.
That's what I was thinking.
Locking onto the target is lightening quick
with this rangefinder, as well as the additional features,
slope switch, HD optics, magnetic cart mount,
make the NX 10 our go-to choice
On the golf course you're not gonna find a better customer care packaging golf free battery replacements

I'd also shout out the, I brought the, oh my god, speaker.
I've been great in the tent.
It's really nice speaker lately.
It's really good.
It's really light.
So I've got it right here.
That's a great, that was a missed opportunity.
We could have done some karaoke in the tent the other night.
I think that would have been, you know,
we could have, you know,
quiet hour started at 10 p.m.
we could have really messed with some people.
Okay.
Kev, what else did you see today?
Brian Harman or otherwise?
What else kind of is in the notebook today?
Yeah, saw a lot of Rory.
Saw a sad march for a lot more on the back.
More on the back.
Unfortunately.
Yeah, I don't know, man. It was just another opportunity sort of slipped away. I saw a sad march for a lot more on the back. More on the back. Unfortunately.
Yeah, I don't know, man.
It was just another opportunity sort of slipped away.
I think I went out thinking, you know, this would be a fun pairing, him and Max and very
comfy pairing and looked, looked hot early, but just, I don't know, just couldn't,
couldn't make any puts and then this iron shot started getting a little loose and I don't
know, he didn't, he skipped media afterwards afterwards obviously wanted to work on some putting you know
I know I'm sure he's sick of hearing his own voice
But I kind of feel like that's part of the obligation like you should pop in answer three four questions
You know just kind of comment on your day. That's generations of guys have done it before so we'd like to see them that him do more that but
I don't know, it just,
he came in super confident into this and it just feels like another kind of mischance.
It's another another sub tweet of TC there. What's what's the what's the writing notebook
tonight, Kevin? I think we're going to talk about what it's like to sleep on a lead. You
know, Harman was talking about the most important thing
that he can do tonight is get 10 hours of sleep,
which seems very generous.
I know Randy, you love that.
That sounds great.
I'm a great student for Harmon now.
But I mean, I think we're going to kind of examine
like what is it like?
What does that mean to sort of lay in bed at night?
I mean, I personally can never sleep before before a big golf tournament I can't imagine
what it would be like try to fall asleep before a major championship round but so we kind
of unpacked that psychologically a little bit.
It's a bit of a Lucas Madsen I've never never respected anybody who sleeps well.
Who's situated?
Can I totally project?
Can I project on this?
Hell yeah.
Yeah, please.
Harmon seems weirdly situated for this.
Well, no one really actually cares if he wins or not.
Right?
There's no expectation on him.
He probably knows.
Well, I'm sure he does, but the environment is not
going to force that on him.
Right?
There's no.
He just endured hours.
Like you said, of people singing Tommy Fleetwood songs and he just went out and stabbed Tommy in the heart today.
We're sure this is with the spear crossbow. Yeah, like clean, clean.
I think it's a totally different thing if like Victor Hovelin is sleeping on a five shot
lead. Or if John Rom, even is sleeping on a five shot lead in terms of expectations,
like it's a total internal thing. And if he can manage that, I think he's going to be totally fine. I can manage that I think he's gonna be totally fine. I'd be I
Think that's a pretty good read. I think one of the things that I kind of enjoy about Ryan Harmon is these like quietly cocky as shit
Yes, this is a person who was so freaking good at like high school golf that he basically said, you know in the press conference
Like yeah, like nobody could beat me
So it wasn't really that difficult and like I've had to adjust over time to the fact that there's thousands of like nobody could beat me. So it wasn't really that difficult. And like, I've had to adjust over time
to the fact that there's thousands of people who can beat me.
But, you know, I still feel like that's golf
is what I've always thought I was going to sort of do
with my life and been dreamed about major championships
for a long time.
So I don't know.
I mean, internal pressure certainly matters.
I don't think like Sean Van Develle
probably thought like anybody cared or not
that he won or lost the open championship. But he still like couldn't handle it when it really mattered.
And that that internal out of bounds thing kind of does really loom large for 18.
So at least there's some potential drama on it, but I kind of wouldn't surprise me if
he just kind of to march out tomorrow and win.
No one by seven strokes.
I mean, who's like other than Ron, like who's coming at him hard?
Who would scare him?
Cam Young looked really good today.
Yeah, and I was going to say that's an interesting pairing.
Like that's, you know, plutonium and just, like,
I don't know what the other element would be, but.
Well, I would recommend going to see Oppenheimer.
Yeah.
I would.
I would.
No, I was like, it's just such an opposite ends
the spectrum of their game, right?
Like Cam Young, like younger, like kind of everyone's waiting for him to bust out.
He hits the ball a mile, you know, very electric game, not an electric
personality. So actually kind of similar in that way. But it, you know, it'll be kind of a,
I guess an interesting pairing tomorrow. Guys, I regret to inform Cameron Young,
not only did he lose strokes on the greens today,
is losing strokes on the greens for the championship
and is in second place at 700 part.
He still hasn't, I still don't have faith in him
to make enough puts tomorrow to go like Huntsam on down.
Like famously, you can really find that.
Isn't he even like near the bottom, Saulie?
116th and putting.
Not great.
First and strokes gained approach approach second off the tee
Roodle I mean that's gonna be hard to watch Brian Harmon will be rolling in pots all day because that's his bread and butter so I
Counterpoint if he does make some putt
That's true. Yeah, it looks like the British journalist of unplugged KVV's ethernet cable over there, but didn't like those
RIP to KVC see what I was doing with C
Kev if you if you can hear me we will let you go get to writing thanks for hopping in and
Looking forward to reading what you come up with tonight. I'm sure we'll talk to you tomorrow. That was good guys. All right
Randy, what were you saying counter counterpoint there? I I believe that was. Oh, I was just going to say
on him, you know, he hasn't really put it well at all, but just takes one day. If he does make
a couple of putts, I mean, I was watching speed, you know, I had a little rooting interest in speed
and he was playing with he was playing with Cam today. So I had that feature group going on my iPad and then was watching the regular feed. It was
incredible how well Cam Young was hitting the ball. He was flagging it. Shot
66 but honestly easily could have been a 64 missed you know a couple
puts inside five feet and very impressive stuff from him.
So I don't know, I would look there.
Obviously, I mean, ROM has the goods.
It's gonna take a hell of an effort though,
but man, if ROM goes like 63, 65 on the weekend,
what a story that would be.
So I don't think it's like over,
but I do think it's totally up to to Harman.
Solid. Is there such a thing as reverse sustainability models?
I've been counting on that coming to fruition for four months with Scotty
Sheffler and it just never dies.
Sorry, it's been a lot of guys.
For as much shit as we've all given TC about Fleetwood and riding him, you know,
straight into the, into the negative.
I need to get some flak eventually for the Scotty thing because I just keep betting
him to win and he keeps refusing to do so.
But I think on the camera, young front, it feels extremely small sample size, but feels
at least noteworthy to me that he changed golf balls at the beginning of this year to
the Probe 1x, I believe, and has changed back to the left dot.
He put that in play at the John Deere and granted it's the John Deere and he finished tied for six there. But that was his best finish of the year and now is in second
place at the Open Championship back to the golf ball that he was using in the prior year. That feels
pretty significant to me. It's like, what the hell happened to Cam Young was, well, he tried to change
equipment and has changed back and I don't have the reasonings behind it, but that seems like if we're
looking for Cam Young to be unplugged and plugged back in, I think the system has fully updated. I think that's right. Software updates complete overnight.
Switching to Lisa left out Lopez. I'd like to give Victor a shout out though. Please,
a quiet 66 and you know, didn't see a ton of them on the broadcast, but he's there at T4. Do
you guys feel like five under is, you know,
I guess how far back is two-four?
Oh man, are we jumping the gun?
Are we going?
Wow.
I mean, I don't know why don't we go there right now?
Five under is not out of it at all.
Yeah, I don't think so.
I feel like he's a threat right there.
Definitely loitering for me.
Okay, all right, let's do some actual math on this
because we always do this.
And so what does that mean?
So he's got to shoot what and Harman's got to shoot what?
Let's just, what it means
is that some scenarios here.
Here's how you do this.
Delete, you have to delete Harman from the scenario, right?
Because it requires backtracking from Harman.
So if you look at, so I mean,
so we need to, like,
this all operates under the assumption
that Harman can shoot 75.
Well, I think Harman's leading the field and putting,
and he's made a lot of like,
and that's where I don't know if that's accurate.
I don't know if he's gonna do that.
Well, you're saying that it's not,
I don't think Harmon's gonna like shoot 75.
Like I don't think that, I think that's the flaw in that.
Well, let's say, let's say,
he shoots even par, then you think that five
unders too far back.
I do.
Yeah, I do.
I don't think someone shooting 64 tomorrow.
Maybe I don't feel great about like that shooting
worse than 73.
That's where I'm at, Randy.
I think it's like 72, 73 feels like the floor.
It's a total like I think Harman's gonna go out
and win it tomorrow, but do I think it's very possible
that he goes out and shoots 76?
Of course it is. Like he could shoot a million tomorrow. do I think it's very possible that he goes out and shoots 76? Of course it is.
He could shoot a million tomorrow.
It's unlikely, but it can happen, right?
If that's the case, then I would go as far as to say,
like, laugh if you want, go ahead.
I'm prepared for this.
Go ahead and laugh.
Rory's not like out of it.
It's not out of it.
No, no, no, no.
He's not out of it.
I don't feel great about that.
He's four back of five.
Again, it requires a total, like a it. I don't feel great about that. He's four back of blood.
He's four back of blood.
Again, it requires a total like a deletion of Ryan Harman in that, but if Roy should 65
more, I'm finished at nine under.
That is not out of the question.
I just feel like Harman has put a ton of pressure on his putter and he hasn't like, he's
made like not so much today, but the first two days, he made a lot of long parputs.
And those can go away really quickly, right?
If you talk about regression back to the mean,
like he's leading the field and putting,
like he's always, he is a good putter,
but like he's kind of putting out of his mind.
So does that, you know, him shooting too over
is not like, I don't think that's outrageous at all.
I don't think that's outrageous.
I think him shooting five hours outrageous.
The way he's doing it.
I think with these greens too,
because they're not as quick, they're not,
I feel like it's, I don't know,
I have more faith than him keeping his putter
on these types of greens than I would at a US open.
So I'm just putting a stat,
he's 44 for 44 inside of 10 feet this week.
That's see, does that feel sustainable?
Like pretty useful.
I mean, that's kind of like his entire game though.
Like that's the only reason he's kept his PJ tour card
for 10 years.
It's because I don't think that's a new thing.
Like that's how he survives.
Sure.
I'm here fighting for my fucking life, man.
I gotta make those puts.
He can also re-average the win.
And it'll shoot 71.
Yeah, he can regress and still win pretty easily for sure.
I think my thoughts on this changed at Southern Hills last year, with like how freaking
unlikely it was that JT would come back and win like seven down with nine holes to play
and came back in one like, chicken happened fast.
It can't.
It always feels like when you pause on Saturday night that it can't happen, but she
can get shuffled up really quickly.
Look how fast things got shuffled up on the front nine today.
Within four holes, Tommy was what within two shots.
Like it can happen really quickly.
I'm just, I'm extremely conservative on these S.
I do want to be clear that like,
Harmon isn't a new name, right?
Like he's been around.
He's been as DJ like, say he's been doing things for a while.
Oh, I am solid.
I got a credit solid.
I got a credit solid.
I had that.
Right. Like, so I'm not a, yeah, it I got a credit solid. I got a credit solid. Right.
Like, so I'm not a, yeah, it's not a, um, it's not like a new, oh, like he's, you know,
he's been, uh, he's been leading a major before on, it didn't go well at Aaron Hills,
but he didn't, he played pretty good.
Got beat.
I think he shot even in the final round.
So I, I don't know, man, it's, it's going to be interesting.
I listen, I'm going to watch for sure. Well, it's gonna be interesting. I'm gonna watch for sure.
Let's see what happens.
Let's play this game.
It's a form of how far back is too far back.
But what's the number to get into a playoff tomorrow
in your opinion?
What a phrase at Randy.
I think everybody's gotta try to get to to 12 at least. I would think I
would say 13 like I could see Harmon shooting a very like solid 70. But one of these guys
at you know minus five shoots seven under right that gets them or sorry eight under.
So that gets them to 13. I wonder if he learned something from those first four holes today.
Some of those iron swings and some of those, like, that was really bad and that was not the
not the guy that we've seen over the first 36 holes and it's not the guy we saw the last,
you know, 12, 13 holes of today.
That shot, I gasped when he hit that approach shot on three.
I was like, oh my god, that's, that's going out of bounds, right?
And it was just like, it was almost like hit so bad. It didn't even get to the out of bounds.
It was just like really clunky.
And then whatever it was, he figured it out.
And he talked about it in the post-round press conference
and just like very cliche, one foot in front of the other,
just slow things down, keep it, stick to the process,
type stuff.
I wonder if he, if that's enough to, I don't know how to say,
I wonder if that's enough to like,
like those nerves are going to pop up again tomorrow, right? And does he take what he learned today and,
you know, just do that for 18 holes? I don't know. Or does, you know, do we have another
four or five whole stretch like we had on that, that first four whole stretch? What, would
any predictions there? Thoughts?
I, I see him starting very solidly.
I love his answers, I love his mindset.
You know, I'm just going to hit every shot on its merits.
I think was the quote with with Kara Banks post post-round.
He said he's not going to be looking at the leaderboard.
I love that he's had prior experience in this spot.
I, yeah, the more we talk about it, I was just super impressed
with how he answered the bell today. So I guess I would expect that tomorrow. I think it
will let me answer your question, by the way. I think we're a playoff. I think so.
What were you going to say, Sally? I think a lot of this depends on, I mean, you can look at
forecast. You can see a little bit of rain for tomorrow, not a lot of this depends on, I mean, you can look at forecasts.
You can see a little bit of rain for tomorrow, not a ton of wind.
How bad is the rain going to be?
Is it going to be the kind that makes the course easier?
Is it the kind that makes it annoying enough that you can't hit, you know, the 300 yard
run out shots that you need in some places?
I mean, again, if I see wind speeds of six miles an hour tomorrow, that makes, you know,
gusts up to 21, but that feels like, you know,
It feels like if he's vulnerable if he shoots two over if that's the case, you're right
If it's at 10 tomorrow, somebody can very very easily pass him
I think even if he shoots one over tomorrow, he's vulnerable with those easy conditions
Especially Tommy Fleet with mr. 63 chasing him
63 to get to 13.
So you guys want to talk Tommy?
Well, I will say the last thing about about Harman, obviously putting the lights out of it, but on the week, he's eighth.
Strokes gained off the T. So he's he's getting off the T exceptionally well.
And I, man, if I mean, if he's getting it in play, I just don't see the big blow
up happening.
Neil, let's pay one more bill before we get to, before we get to Tommy, shall we? Again,
you know, we're hoping to have our Tommy, we reach out to a Tommy Fleetwood expert who
was unavailable for the podcast, but he could be popping in the world at the foreman.
Before we get there, we're gonna hear from our friends at Miz and in Maine.
Today's live show is presented by Miz and in Maine.
No one gets excited about wearing a dress shirt,
not even the C-suite boys,
solid, can you confirm?
I got a little Miz and on right now, actually.
They're boring, uncomfortable stiff.
Miz and in Maine dress shirts are the exact opposites.
They are lightweight, breathable, moisture wicking,
wrinkle resistant and something you'd actually be excited to wear to work.
Neil, for whatever reason, I just, I flashed into my head the,
the great story of you wearing the Joe D'Amaggio suit.
Oh, yeah.
To your first sales job.
Imagine if you had a machine.
If I didn't have Misen and main shirts, when I was in sales,
working the floor at, you know, a dream force conference, I would have, you know, I wouldn't have missing in main shirts when I was in sales working the floor at you know a dream force conference
I would have you know, I wouldn't be able to function the sweaty boys got to have the performance with the fabric
Yeah, have to have it
They are made from the same performance fabrics you'd expect from a nice golf polo or a workout shirt
It's that comfortable feeling but in a dress shirt wear to the office
Throw it in a suitcase or keep it by your at home desk for when you need to look a little dressed up
That's that's a good play keep a nice you know, dress shirt right by the computer.
Case on the hop on a hop on a zoom.
Whatever you do, wherever you wear it, know that you'll look and feel amazing. We, this is missing may not me. We like the strap boys love a discount. So use code. Code trapped for $35 off any purchase of $125 more.
That's a really good code.
Guys, you should put that into play.
You can also use code C Suite for absolutely no discount at all
because you only pay full price for things.
Always good when the marketing roller too.
You know, our plug game to the gear.
So use code strapped for $35 off any purchase
of $125 or more. Both work,
both codes, you can also use C suite, C suite as I mentioned, for no discount, both codes
work at www.misonandmain.com. So I think we need to talk about Stepstruck now, a
Mison and Main guy, right? Just, you know, he feels like he's at that 500 number. Solid will will you apologize?
That's what everybody's been asking.
You've been dogging him for weeks now.
He continues to just stick it right in your eye.
Any any, you know, any thoughts on Sep Strocka.
I'm happy for Sep.
I'm very, very happy for Sep.
I'm happy for the European rider cup team.
I think they're coming into shape perfectly.
Could not be happier.
All right.
Neil, anything else to add about Sapp or was it mostly the missing?
No, he seems like a sweaty boy.
Seems like those performance-waving dread shirts would suit him well.
He's playing good golf, though.
He deserves credit.
I mean, he's T-4 to major.
Sure.
Absolutely.
Sure.
And one, the John Deere, as Sally refuses to acknowledge.
And hit the shot. And hit the shot of the century at 18. Yes, many people are saying.
Right. There tied with sep's rocket 500 is Thomas Fleetwood, even par 71 today.
Randy, let's go to you. What immediate thoughts? Immediate thoughts, macro.
Tommy might be who we long suspected and thought he was just maybe lacking a bit of killer instinct.
Was a tough round for him today. I think my two cents armchair quarterback analysis is this.
He his, his best ability is his ball striking. And I think when the
course and the conditions get tougher, that allows his ball striking and what he does
best to shine through. And I think with the conditions calming down today was a big disservice
to Tommy trying to win the tournament. I have to imagine it's difficult
when you're in the mindset of, par is a good number to all of a sudden flip that today and get
yourself like in this mindset to fire at flags and to hunt birdies. It just seems like a really
tough task to make in the middle of a major championship.
So I thought how it played today was probably the worst possible case scenario for Tommy.
But that's just my very casual, you know, what do I know?
I think he putted the lights out on the first couple days as well, right?
He putted really, really good on Thursday.
He had the whole five one puts in a row, you know, to, uh, to finish yesterday's round.
And then today, like, I thought honestly, like, hit the ball really well, right?
I thought he, you know, until it got a little loose coming down the stretch.
He didn't make any bogies, but it wasn't quite as tight coming down the stretch.
He hit the ball really well and played like really good major championship golf.
It's just man you when you're not making like
15 to 30 footers. It's it's just gonna look like you're stuck in neutral. Just shout out to the Rory McAurray experience
It looked like it was lifted from Roy's closet. Yeah, yeah, it's beat as well
I don't know that that's what I saw today was like a guy that didn't really hit it all that different than he's he's hit it all week and just Yeah, it's gonna make me nuts. I had a dip. I felt like he hit it a guy that didn't really hit it, all that different than he's, he's hit it all week and just,
you know, it's gonna make me a putz.
I had a, I felt like he hit it good.
He didn't hit it very close though.
And he didn't have any,
he, the first three, four holes he hit it pretty close.
But then after that, he just couldn't,
you know, he made some good runs at those putz.
It's just, you're asking a lot for him to make 15, 20,
25 footers and it felt like all, the whole back nine he was putting from just outside of like a realistic range.
That's how I felt. But they weren't bad shots coming in, but he wasn't flagging it is where I'm getting it.
What I'm getting at. Yeah, that's what which again, I'm going to keep saying a bit like just reminded me of the
the Rory experience that just feels like I've seen this round from Rory like 50 times.
Well, got Rory's round was the opposite.
I mean, I feel like I haven't seen him hit it better than that all year.
And he just, you just couldn't make a putt.
Yeah.
So all the any thoughts on, I guess either, either of those people.
And I surprisingly, I find Randy take to be a little soft on Tommy, right?
I mean, I think it, it's not that hard to shift, you know,
mindsets into scoring, right?
When the conditions get a lot easier,
these dudes are used to firing at pins
and being able to go low.
I think that's, I get kind of what you're getting at.
There's a little something to like, you know,
getting in a certain mindset and pulling off shots
when you're really, really challenged
and all of a sudden when it's time to go in offense,
you can freak out a little bit
or panicking trying to get it too close.
But man, it was just a huge bummer and it just felt like we've seen this so many times
now, like so many times with Tommy, like repeatedly every time that you need him to make
like that eight foot putt, it just, it doesn't seem to go in.
And I'm rooting for it.
It's such a complicated feeling to be rooting so hard for Tommy and knowing what comes with
it on the back end. In terms of, yes, I'm with you, sorry.
Despite, like, I just, I don't want to perform, but I unconsciously am like, damn it.
Come on, Tommy.
You know, and I'm like, no, but what that means for me is that I have to bear this
cross of my brother and for probably years.
For years, we're going to hear about, you know,
I have no idea how bad it is.
It's like, see what I did.
See how I've written for my guy.
See what I told you.
I mean, it's it's evangelical shit, man.
It's it's hard.
It's just I've got no reckoning on the back end for all the failures.
No consequence to any of it.
I think 24 hours in waffle house, you have a lot of time to think about,
obviously, I think that's really my only my only solace in this continuously threatening to put cases on all of us. Yeah, cases, all the cases. I mean, there's just so much
paperwork stacked up on his desk in Jacksonville. I will say we, the only the only thing
else says we we laughed a lot at TC's expense at the Camsmith
stuff last year on Saturday night and ended up coming back to Bidus in maybe worse way
than the Fleetwood stuff would come back to Bidus.
That's my only caution not to.
But I think TC knows that though and I think he's, you know, I think now he's at the hooters
down Washington road just relive it the glory day. I think he thinks maybe he's got the magic touch. He's out there like, you know, talking about lay
and hands on Tommy and maybe I need to, you know, I need to get out there and, and you know, make a play and just fix this thing.
I just, it's, I wonder if he's just drunk with power after, after what we suffered the came Smith they last year. I so there's no downside to any of this for him.
He can't get any lower than he's been with all the picks.
So imagine this world though guys, imagine this world.
If he's go if he is where I think he is right now,
which is on a flight to Washington and then flying over just for the
final round of the open.
If he's there walking step by step with Tommy on route to 63 to
wedding, the open championship
We all have to find new jobs.
I think listen, I can't be.
It's over for all of them.
That's it.
I couldn't like media set like stingy on passes like he never take it like what's he gonna
if he's if he's truly doing that like what is your small details.
Yeah, those are small details.
Problem. Yeah.
It's probably an honorary observer.
I mean, unbelievable.
Today's honorary observer for game 40s.
I hope you know what I hope he talks about
sharing the being the school.
He might be an RNA member for all we know.
I know.
He might have an awesome idea.
He might be there with A.T.
Who could even say?
He might be up in the club.
He'll be having lunch,.E. Who could even say? He might be up in the club,
he'll be having lunch, you know,
tea and biscuits in the clubhouse all around
up in the window above the putting green.
It's very much like a true bloke's
in chaps situation at Hoylake.
With the chaps, you can see the chaps up in the window
looking down on the putting green.
It's good stuff.
Oh man, well Well I guess before we
close book if he went did we pay for this to the company pay for this by the way like we listen
to the head of hr we're looking into that on Monday. We're not we're not going there right now.
I don't know. Yeah we don't know that he's over there either. We don't know. We just we we
simply don't know what he's doing. I believe if he was here, he'd demand that you respect his privacy.
I think of him a little bit.
As he says, the Vision Fund, you know, on a two-year rolling basis is still up.
So I hope this is coming out of the team.
Would love to audit.
Yeah.
The shareholders are not happy, though. The limited partners are pissed.
They're very pissed.
Yeah. And I think what's, what's tough solid to your point earlier is you're right.
If he is flying over there and Tommy should seek Mr. 63 shows up again and wins the
open in the shadow of TC.
It, it's over.
But also, I think that, I think the flip side of that coin is
like that's what he needs in order to just like that's his only hope that's left because if it
doesn't happen now, I mean he's got what eight months before before any kind of vindication, right?
He is the even telling me anything before the masters like no cares right I mean it's it's only majors at this
point so it's it's not a good title for right situation for him to be in I'll settle for one PGA
tour win for Tommy right I mean that's that's kind of where some of this is coming from right it's
it's it's long most PGA tour starts best player to never win on the PGA tour, maybe ever, aside from Monty. It's, it's just very tough.
I mean, he's right there though, for his patented top five.
That's the front, the front door top five.
Right there. Oh, man, he really got me. I have the cases stacking up on T.C.'s death.
I wish I might need to do a slide. He just won't do it.
Next time you guys are grooving on a point, I might do a search in our slack just for the the phrase I'm putting cases on all you bitches
Just to see how many times how many cases there are right now. I think there's an absolute detective shortage right now T.C
Desk
All right, anything else on Tommy anything else on really?
So you're right. I was a bit soft. It was totally it
Thank you, Randy. Yeah, like wait a wait a're right. I was a bit soft. It was totally, it, it, it, thank you, Randy. Yeah.
Like, wait a, wait a show up.
I mean, come on.
At some point, you guys just gotta go do the damn thing.
And Tom, you gave it all, it's all teed up for you here.
No.
Did you follow them at all?
You got to answer the bill.
No, I saw him play 18 on Friday or on Thursday.
That was it though.
And he played, I think he played really well.
Those last four holes.
So people were, like the energy was really good.
It's people are, God, they're riding for him
and they're riding for Rory.
It's just, and Shane Lowry,
that people love Lowry out there at the open.
Well, anybody else that we need to really touch on, I feel like we did kind of like skirt past
roms 64. I don't know if that was 63, 63. I'm sorry. Uh, Mr. 63, which by the way, this
is just a total aside, but I think the commentators, much like myself and Randy, you're probably
in this boat too, have just kind of refused to acknowledge the fact that 62s have been shot
in majors. Like they still call them like record 63s and they just like, they just treat them like...
Well, they had a stat that it was the first time at Hoylake at Royal Liverpool that they're
at 63.
At this part of the open road.
You see where I'm going with that, though?
I think they really were comfy having 63 being like the record number and I don't think
despite new new information coming to light, I don't think anybody's really interested
in moving off that number.
I mean, before you, aren't the 63s becoming a bit like your 59s,
though, week to week on tour, it seems like they're
coming a little too fast and furious for my liking.
I agree with that.
I hate to circle back on a previous topic,
but I just thought of a way that this could get worse tomorrow is if Tommy shoot 63 to win with TC following and TC
Where's a pork pie hat out there?
Like I think he might in the background
Standing sent no over the 18th grade all the lads just lifting Toronto for their shoulders
lads just lifting Toronto for their shoulders. On the ROM front, I'm going to have to issue a Mayaculpa. I said at some point, was it yesterday? I think I said that, was that
imagine on Sunday night of the Masters saying that Wyndham Clark was going to have a better
chance to win two majors this year than John Rahm would. Wyndham Clark made double within
30 seconds of me closing tweet on, uh, send. And it has fallen back to T24 and ROM comes out
and shoot 63 on that.
So I will happily wear that.
When I said that, that was very, very, very much
the percentage likelihood,
but that is obviously no longer the case.
But I appreciate you circling back on that.
Winham Clark stuck in newty today at even par.
Couldn't get it in a gear.
I felt like Jason Daye wasn't mentioned a gear. I felt like Jason Day wasn't, you know, mentioned a ton.
I felt like he was charging and then he kept shooting himself in the kneecap.
Like when the plot was rolling back to his feet, I think on 13 or 14.
But he's, you know, he's lingering there at a T4, which is his best major showing this
year.
So, you know, I think he could, he'll probably be in the, I don't see jason day playing awful tomorrow let me put it that way
now i agree
i don't think he's gonna go out he's not my pick to run away and if it was between
him and and hovelin at that number
if it's if you're saying jason day of these guys at t4
we've got what hovelin
rosner
the one
big truck
and tommie fleetwood who do you think plays the best of those guys tomorrow? Make your pick?
I mean, I hate to say it, but I think it's Tommy.
I'll go talk to say it.
I got to head to our bets, guys.
I think it's, I think it's, I think it's Holland. I really do. I think he's like, I don't think he's scared.
I hope so. I mean, I, that would be a blast. I think we've been waiting for that big Victor like signature moment that just hasn't really fit tomorrow.
I think that good question.
He should. I guess it's going to rain tomorrow. So he's probably going to cover it up. But the world got absolutely deprived of that Thursday shirt.
I think we discussed that. But that was a that was a big miss that we didn't get to see that one in the wild. All right, anybody else we wanna chat through?
I feel like I would look like that Beatles cover band
if I tried to do down the leaderboard segment right now,
my impression of it.
So anyone else who goes more thoughts on it?
I think Alex's Patrick deserves a shout out.
I mean, that's a really quality 65.
Absolutely.
To beat his brother and Matt Wichelle.
You're only shouting out because he's an Excel client.
Yeah, I did believe. Yeah, we did get that email before we went live. I didn't see that. If you say we get royalties.
Banker Sharma have not seen heard that name since feel like since Chipotle peck wgc Mexico. Yeah, when he would do it with Phil, but that's great to see NBC hates him. I've been watching the
World Feed with the NBC feed up every time they cut the Shabanker Sharma on the World Feed,
NBC just goes to commercial. So, um, and also Niklai Hoigard, um, T 11 sitting there, and then
will you anybody here apologize for a young Tom Kim? No, not yet. I'll be asking you. I have a
fluffer. He's a total fluffer. I hope they can get there out there tomorrow for this.
I was going to say my so I'm over my guy, young TK.
My friend is a doctor emailed to say a grade one.
He's going to go to another school. It's it's literally he like mildly turned his
ankle. It's like everybody who's ever played basketball has had like it's just not a big
deal. Not a good look for Tom Kim to to be milk in that.
Somebody that's praying their ankle in a parking lot, like a month and a half ago and just
now getting over it, I'm going to agree to disagree on that. The left ankle is tough to exactly.
You might have heard too.
I don't care about the injury time too.
Don't care about the injury time.
You know what I need?
I don't care about that.
I need a shelling bloody sock from TK evidence or I need a swallowing.
I need to see the swelling.
All right.
There's no swelling.
The left.
Look like there's some cameras in there tight.
It was a bit of a blocky situation.
Kind of a feeding frenzy of the Tom Kim ankle content.
T 11. Will anybody address that the actual golf coming off the top 10 to US open?
Really, really nice.
Discratic that. Really nice.
That's great.
I mean, you're kind of making the, the fleet would argument like again.
It's like cool, man.
Like, that's really cool.
Like, I don't think he's going to go out and want a bunch of me.
I just don't think he's going to go win a bunch of majors.
I just don't see it.
I'm going to be honest.
I'm going to be honest.
I need to think about my position on Tom.
I'm not ready.
You should really address it.
I know I don't want to, but I need to think about it a little bit more.
I'll come back at you tomorrow.
Okay.
But you asked me to apologize on Thursday.
And I'm just asking if you wanted to apologize as he's sitting here.
As you declined, I'll also decline at this. It's a true not yet. Okay, but you asked me to apologize on Thursday, and I'm just asking if you wanted to apologize as he's sitting here and saying,
as you declined, I'll also decline at this moment.
It's the true not yet.
Let's call it a tomorrow.
Let's see where we're at tomorrow.
Let's see, let's see what, yeah.
If John the Baptist wants to dunk me out
in the wetlands out there behind 12,
maybe he can tomorrow, we'll see.
Let's see if I declined to apologize.
The D, the D S U a in the
S. U. Yeah, throw me under in the S.
You're all right. Speaking of the S.
You're new. I want to talk about your trip a little bit.
You were you were over in Hoylake for a couple days.
What three four days I flew in Monday night on the red eye.
Virgin Atlantic pretty seamless for me.
Unfortunately KVV did not have that experience.
I did not bring my golf clubs,
which was probably a good decision. And I rolled right in in the pouring rain. It was hard to find the
campsite. I would say, you know, the English from Manchester over to Huy Lake, not of not. People were
nice, but they weren't very helpful. Like asked a few like cops and marshals, like, hey, do you know
where the campsite is? Like, no, and you can't park, you can't stop here, keep moving. It was
a lot of that going on. So I ended up lugging my suitcase like a mile to the, to this tent
you're looking at here on the screen rolled in. There was hot water, which was great.
Oh, yeah. And yeah, so I want to say this, I, I'll, I'll preface it by saying I was there
from Tuesday and I flew back yesterday afternoon. And I want to say this, I, I'll, I'll preface it by saying, I was there from Tuesday and I flew back yesterday afternoon.
And I want to give a shout out. This is all on, on behalf of our friends at foot joy.
Foot joy is the, the camp site, they've been doing this.
It's run by the RNA and they've been doing this for, I think this is the sixth or seventh year.
And the idea is like the, the open road goes to these small towns, you know, throughout the, uh throughout the kingdom, I guess you can say,
the United Kingdom.
And there's not anywhere to stay, right?
I think all the players, I think the club
kind of gets a lot of the houses in the area to,
like, almost like Augusta does,
like they run out, you know, locals run out their houses.
But then like, you know, you're either staying up
and Liverpool and you're taking the train,
which seemed like it was pretty easy,
but there's just not a lot of options.
And they had 700 tents, I think.
And there were probably 1400 people there, like in this campsite.
I mean, it was kind of like a concert, you know, like a boneroo type of situation.
But a lot more families, a lot less drugs.
Let me put it that way.
That's a bummer.
Yeah, I mean, part of that's a bummer. But also, like, I thought it was really, really well run. And I would,
like, I'll just say it off the top, like, I would like to do this again. I thought it was
an awesome way to experience a golf tournament. I will say, I'm not a good sports fan in
general. Like, I don't eat in golf fan. Like, I don't, I have a trouble, like, riding
really hard. Like, oh, I can't wait to go watch sports. I've always been
that way since I was a kid. I want to play sports. I felt like this was you can't beat the convenience
and I think the convenience far outweighed the lack of amenities. I mean, there's bathrooms,
there's places to shower, but you're walking 200 yards and it's cold to take a shower. And so once I kind of adjusted that on day two,
it was awesome to be able to come and go
from my TPP to the tournament.
We would go back and forth two or three times a day.
And normally when you go to a golf tournament,
you take the park, you take the shuttle,
like it's all the logistics suck.
And then you get there and you got to squeeze all this into like well
Where once we leave we're not coming back right like I'm not gonna go home and then come back
It was awesome to wake up really early
Go to the driving range which the campsites right behind the driving range this week and then go back to the tent
Let's go eat breakfast and an awesome food truck court
And I I've written pretty hard for how bad the food is in the United Kingdom.
I will say the food trucks were excellent.
So I want to shout that out.
They had a good offering.
They had like six different options.
Pots of taking your criticism to heart.
Yeah, they had like six different options.
A pizza truck, they had some good coffee,
they had some swarma,
and they had chicken and chips with some chili, just like a very
starchy, if you needed really to fill up the tank, Randy. That was there for you.
And every night they would have different kind of entertainment. So Tuesday night,
KVV and I interviewed Wyndham Clark, which was a ton of fun. And he was like,
he was awesome, honestly. Like we should effort him for the podcast. Super
thoughtful, had a lot to say.
And they had good, like a bar in the back of this big wigwom,
like communal tent.
And then the second night, the Sky Sports Guys hosted,
like a live podcast, Nick Dordy.
And I can't remember the other guy's name,
but they're like known broadcasters.
And they were good.
They were whipping up the crowd.
And I feel like as a whole, the British fans,
they're very sincere.
And I really appreciate that.
It was like, they are there to almost play their part
in the drama and they want to play it well.
It's like, we are going to clap the right amount
for this shot.
And we are not trying to make it about us
where it's like, they're not trying to come up
with a creative post-shot yell for the most part. They're going to ride for their guys like the the Sky Sports guys were getting the crowd going on like who do you
know who do you want to win there like let's start with the Americans and you know
Fowler love people love Ricky people love them Randy.
Speed.
I don't like him straight up.
Yes.
And which kind of shocked me too and I was like damn and I And I don't, I like to dig into that a little more,
but that was not like a name.
I think people were looking for.
I've heard that before.
First of all, I love the way you put that.
The British fans always know they know the assignment
when they get there.
They know how loud they are.
They know their lines.
It's like, okay, no, we have a job to do here
and we're gonna do it right.
And it's like almost,
like shameless is the wrong word, but it's this really authentic sincerity.
And it made me wanna be like, no, I gotta lock it.
And like this is how it's supposed to be.
It made me like join,
I wanna be a part of the event,
instead of being like cynical or sarcastic.
I also wanna give the RNA a shout out for,
I thought the way they set up,
and I think I sent Ben, I sent a picture of,
they did a really good job with the grandstands,
where they have, they create these arenas
on the holes that matter, but otherwise,
they're creative with where they do vertical stands,
and you can see here, they'll be tall and skinny
because they're almost being thoughtful about the views.
And you can't see it on TV,
but when you walk onto the property at Royal Liverpool,
there's some good vistas in certain places.
And they don't cut off everything
with all these giant grandstands,
which I feel like they do in the US
at a lot of these big tournaments,
where the grandstands just kind of like eat up
all of the scenery.
And so, I thought as far as a golf tournament that I've been to,
Thursday was the most fun I've, I think I've had at a golf tournament in two years. And
Randy, you know, you know why? What did I do? I picked a group and I embedded with a man.
And I had so much fun. Now I was lucky. I was able to, you know, get inside the ropes and follow
Max. But I think people can do this on a Thursday.
I want to say this.
Shout out to the British fans as well.
Thursday was packed.
I mean, it was like, it was so many more people than I've seen at a major on a Thursday
before.
And everybody was locked into watching the golf.
And there were lines to get into these grandstands and, you know, that's a credit to the fans.
But when you, if you can find a group like
find a group of golfers that nobody's following and I would say like Max and Pat and and
Moorakawa were they were right behind Rory and Rom and so it was almost like all the crowds were
like moving out as you know their group was coming in and I followed them for like 13 or 14 holes
and I just had such a blast and I think the other thing to help with that was, um, I couldn't, I forgot my
UK adapter or charging my phone.
So I was basically on like zero battery the whole week.
So I left it behind for the most part and like would cop a charge off
somebody. Uh, and so I didn't have my phone.
So it was just like, I'm locked in, baby.
I'm here to watch every shot that, that these guys hit. And it was like so much fun to just kind of get into the moment with those guys.
And then and then to go back to my tent and then come back out again and go to you know who's grinding on the range. Oh, it was just always something to do and I think so I think the camping.
I was wondering if camping and golf would go together and I I would say like 1000% it does.
God, that makes me so excited.
Ever since they started doing this,
I've always wanted to do, I was very jealous this week.
I've always wanted to do this, maybe next year.
It was great.
And you know, I think it's an affordable option for,
they had different kinds of tents.
You know, there were some you could get like a
glamping setup with a cot.
And there was like even bigger setups with like
for a whole family.
But I didn't really see anybody in the campsite
that wasn't having a good time.
They had like soccer nets set up.
The only feedback I'd have is they needed,
like I got a little tired of,
I didn't bring a camping chair.
So I got tired of sitting at picnic tables.
Sure.
You're either kind of on the ground
or you're sitting at a picnic table.
It'd be nice to have like a some type of lounge,
like a bean bag chair or some place where I could just kind of take a load off, you know, and
That was about the only only miss for me. Otherwise, I had an awesome time
Can I just
Based on my experience in 2017 at the at the open at Berkdale
And a lot of the comments I'm seeing flow through kind of throw a challenge flag on the brits
Not liking speed thing on this because that was certainly not my experience six years ago and a lot of people in the comments are not
Not
Gentlemen, are you going?
Sorry, I'm late. I'm late. What did I miss?
Well, TC, we need a proof of life. Where are you? Can you show us some signage? That's Dallas. I could see I'd recognize that in my model away.
Hello, Celix. Give it away. Yeah, I'm a dollar. Let me, uh, let me make it wider for you. There we go. Yeah, I'm standing outside the Polaris lounge here.
It's C-16.
They're at Dolos.
Yeah, it was touching, it was touching Go, man.
You know, I was talking to my wife, Alex last night.
I was like, man, I think I think, like I had a dream.
I think Tommy's gonna win.
What are you, MLK?
No.
No.
And yeah, I don't know.
It was like, this would be the coolest sporting moment
possible.
And so I committed to it.
I bought the flight.
I got a flight on LaFranza for 80,000 miles of business
class through Frankfurt.
It's unbelievable.
Jesus.
It was a sign. It was on a 747.
I've never been on a 747 before.
So I was like, I got to do it. I got to take it.
So it was pretty touching. I was texting DJ earlier.
I was like, hey, man, I'm going to be on my way to the airport.
I don't know if he's going to do it or not and he keeps missing pots and all that.
I'm like, you know what? I'm still getting on that plane uh because I believe he said quote I got I got to see it through
I was like you knew DJ you know I kind of had a had a feeling maybe that's where he was headed
you had it on your calendar TC that's what gave you away why I found it on your calendar
oh he's too organized it's just no it just automatically throws it on there. So yeah, so I'm
I'm playing a Frankfurt tonight. I'll take a shower at the Lufthansa
lounge in Frankfurt in the morning. Probably have a couple beers, some pretzels,
and then onwards or Manchester from there. Can you see you got a ticket?
I don't have a ticket yet. No. All right, good luck with that because
the RNAs could be a little stingy on the media passes.
Yeah.
No, I'm going in as a civilian.
This is all on my own expense.
And then I have to figure out a flight from other Manchester, London, to Denver on Monday as well.
So, but yeah, shout out to my wife.
She was extremely, extremely supportive.
She was like, yeah, you got to go like you live for stupid shit like this.
Like that's this is you in a nutshell. So, uh, man, I'm just he played he played fine guys. He played fine.
He didn't know. He did not play fine. That was a waste. That was a waste of around for him.
We just coming in pots, coming in pots.
I didn't think he hit the ball close enough.
Well, Neil, I caught a little bit of the show on the plane.
You're saying that somebody had minus five
to go out and shoot 63 tomorrow?
Why not?
I mean, you know, I could be there for that too, right?
And you could see for that.
You see, you are already pulling a legendary move.
If you win, it'll already be legendary.
There's only one way to take this to the next level.
I'm gonna have one request of you.
Please wear a pork pie hat at every level tomorrow.
Please, please.
That would, I will never say a bad word about Tommy
ever going to be wear at the entire day.
All right, I'll see if they have any at the Frankfurt Airport.
Heather on the side.
I'll get ready to approve the events.
Yeah, no, I mean, I don't know, man, it's just like, he didn't play,
like he didn't play great.
I feel like he got he got screwed over by the weather,
you know, like if it it's easy for everybody, there's Randy was saying it earlier, like
there's non flushers up there that are that are going low and like that's that's just
not good for anybody. If everybody becomes a flusher, nobody's a flusher. It's great inflation.
Yeah, sure. I just want, you know, one big, one shooting 67 today.
That's not good.
Exactly.
Exactly.
And, Sal, you said it yourself, the win switched, you know, that, that really played a part in Tommy.
You know, I mean, it's not like Harmon went out and like, with the world on fire.
Like, he played solid golf.
Tommy just didn't make any pots, which is like the problem.
That's the problem. I think that's what it's like.
That's the issue.
We're being as peric-
We're working on that.
But man, I'm telling you, we're so close.
And I believe in him.
And I'm with him through thick and thin.
Like I could get on a flight back to Jack's right now.
You know, I'd probably have to take a cab over to Reagan
and then I'm American flights,
which I'm not gonna do.
I would rather fly to England.
So, T.C., are we on schedule tonight?
Oh, we are, yeah, it's like operational excellence.
Everything's on schedule.
I mean, 80,000 miles, I'm on a 747 up front. It's great. This is how was fantastic
I got a bunch of work to do. I don't know they had a bunch of seats
I guess that they just dumbed on the nobody wants to fly united. That's crazy. Oh
It's the only so
Granted their their first class brought or their business class products not it's not it's not everybody gets aisle access either.
But hey, have you guys touched on Tom Kim?
We did.
We did.
Yeah.
Three for you.
Well, sure.
We did.
Great.
Yeah.
No, no.
So I was asked to apologize saying he shot three under.
So we need to apologize.
Yeah.
It's T 11.
I'm not sure why courageous things.
We shriner's mean.
Shriner's open broke out today.
Top K. I rise and get the board.
You get the Netflix guys just just there.
They're spooning in the Netflix guys, you know,
mouths, his thirsty agents there.
It's not take the whole thing away.
Like I've had a couple high school football coaches reach out
and say like this whole like grade,
grade tear on a on an ankle is, is the biggest crocus shit
we've ever heard.
I had a bunch of high school golf coaches reach out and they said,
Tom can beat Tommy Flew with my three shots today on a major
championship weekend.
So I would, I'd sit this one out.
I would if I was you, but I'm not headed to England in a
pork pie hat either.
So here's what I'm going to say about what T.C.'s doing today is
there's been a, you know, there's a lot of retroactive conversation on this podcast,
such and such, strokes gained.
Here's what this person did in the past.
T.C. is putting his heart and soul out there.
And I got, I got nothing but respect for, for this maneuver.
It's truly outrageous.
One of the most outrageous things I've ever heard.
He texted me earlier that he was walking through the Jack's airport and
somebody recognized it was like, oh shit.
T.C. we're doing it. Let's go.
I was hoping somebody would get the background of the shot.
It's something somebody has to be at.
Yeah, let's go.
Let's go.
It's some guy waved earlier.
T.C., if you do need a place to sleep tonight, you could probably look up one of these TPs.
I'm sure they know.
I was actually, well, it's tomorrow night.
I'll probably probably explain tonight. Yeah, so I think I get in like 10 30
Pretty talked to you my member friends at a hoi lake, you know, they're rolling out the red carpet for me
You know
Well, yeah, I'm going straight to Denver and in San Jose
Oh my god, if your club says if your clubs got lost over there, then you missed out on sand hills
You know listen, I stand for something I stand for something
Okay, God, well TC. We'll let you get to it man. I I
Really look forward to catch up with you tomorrow
That's gonna be electric one way or the other I can tell you that
Yeah, I'm actually going to have dinner with Lauren Codman here in the Polaris lounge
She's on her way to Geneva
Everybody's coming through
What a time to be alive
Yeah, Roomick Donald
be alive. So yeah, Rue McDonald sent me a voice. No, he's like, T.C. Don't come. It's flat. Everybody's depressed. Everybody's been this fondant for the last two hours. I'm like, I'm coming,
baby. I'm coming. He's going to lay hands on his guy. Yeah. Get him right.
Unbelievable. Yeah. We're thick and thin. Tell me, I believe in you. We're going to get this done
either tomorrow or one day
in the future.
And I've never been to the Oakland before.
If Tommy were to win, will you
be running out onto the 18th green?
Yes, I will.
If I'm going to get stuck in legal fees, just will.
I don't want to show a moment from him.
Brushing you.
I've been jailed so out.
Don't steal the moment from him. Brushing you. Enjoy the jail cell. Don't steal the moment from him.
No, I will get everybody to roll through on the 18th green.
And then we will lift on the up on our shoulder, carry him to the bar.
I don't know if this is going to show up, but this is going to be TC.
In a pork pie hat.
Nothing to pork by hat, upper zone.
Oh my god. All right, TC, enjoy the fly. Upper zone. Oh my god.
All right.
TC, enjoy the fly.
Safe travels, my man.
Safe passage, TC.
We don't get him.
Didn't you save passage?
Guys, I can't think of anything that we're going to possibly say that's going to top that the rest of the night.
So I think we, I think we scrap it there.
Let's dump this thing.
That's, that's about as good as it possibly gets.
I wanted somebody to be to challenge you guys
on your bunker takes last night.
That was the only thing I the last thing I wanted to do
a job there.
Thank God.
Thank God.
They've mixed the centers.
You got to imagine how high the scores would have been today
if they had not addressed.
Would you have been calling for them to do that?
If they did, if they never did it on day one, like would you have been calling for that? Would you if they did if they never did it on day one?
Like would you have been calling for that? Would you be like, oh, yeah, they should they should totally
break the bunkers. They're totally flat and balls would go up against. No, I would not. I did
notice on day one, there were so many more awkward bunker shots. Yeah, that guys had to deal
with. Then I've seen in the last two days. So like, yeah, wait a take like one. The bunker
is up and down percentage went down like 3%.
The save percentage out of the bunker went down like 3%
or up 3% when they moved it.
It's not like these are the pointy bunkers to begin with.
Like the challenge is still already there.
It was kind of silly.
I did a silly difficulty today.
Yeah, I mean, it was a way.
I think that's the one of the main defenses of the course.
And I was just, you know, it's true.
Don't hit it in there.
And I had no issue with balls ending up on the lip.
I still don't get it in there.
Like you could still end up in a bad bad spot.
I think it's not fairway bunker.
Yes, but greenside bunker, not so much.
Really guys were guys were hoisting it out of there with no with no problem. Let me ask you this
So who are you who are you defending here? Who are you writing for are you protecting?
Who are you advocating for right now?
It's just too easy to get outraged over every the it's just as soon as I saw there
I was like, ah, this is the most predictable fake outrage over this imaginable the players
Not even bitching about it the players weren't even complaining about the RNM's just like, dude, like that was not
like what we were intending there.
It was kind of silly, like kind of fun, but kind of silly in general.
And then they changed it.
I didn't understand the not changing it between Thursday and Friday.
Like, why would you wait until after the cut to change?
I don't know. They saw their mistake.
Not a big deal.
I mean, I don't think you've, I don't think changing in the middle of tournament was a good decision.
And I had no, like, eight, let's take 18, for instance,
like that OB, seeing it in person,
it does roll way up towards the green.
If you want to get something close,
you have to land at 20 yards short of that green
and the OB is still right there.
And if you got a squeeze it between a bunker
where you are basically like,
might as well hit it in a little pond and OB, like I think that's awesome. Now I don't feel
like it's as much of a threat that you don't you can hit it that bunker. Everybody we saw
coming down the stretch got it up and down like like, like, Juan had his freaking knee up
on the, you know, he was riding the bunker lip and he freaking hit it, hit it to five feet.
Like I don't know. it just took some of the teeth
out of the course and you guys were complaining
that start things off the top
that it wasn't playing hard enough.
You know, it's like one thing that the weather
doesn't control is like, don't fucking hit
in these bunkers, it's a one stroke penalty.
That's where I'm at as well.
Listen, they're their championship,
they can do how they like, but you know,
you can't silence us,
solid.
You can't stop us from speaking.
I just want you to be challenged.
I want you to have a have a plan seven on seven passing.
I would say I'm out.
I personally am not outraged by it.
But when I saw that my first one, I'm like, oh, I know you were soft.
That's soft.
I was like, that's soft.
That's not again.
Again, if they're if the wind comes up and blows a bunch of sand into the bunkers that makes them change the fucking last nine years of planning, sure.
Yeah, change it up.
But if they've had this much time to figure it out, get it straight.
Yeah, just leave it. Once once the tournament starts, tournament starts. I don't know. It's the same as like syringing the greens and doing all.
It's just the course is the course once, once the starts man.
I think it's, I think it's a tad bit insulting to the design to make it,
to, to say that the change in that, the change in,
and the way you break a bunker up one rivet, up one little rivet in the
sod that it makes it changes the strategy of playing the golf course.
I don't think that is the factor at all.
Like you would not, there's still not one like spot you get out of position and you're like,
man, I hope I get it into the green side of the group.
Well, I would say that's where I want to be.
That's where I want to be. I would push back on that because I think after Thursday and some of the, some of the bunker
shots those guys had, I think they would have thought twice about going for the 18th green.
I think ROM, I think JT, I think Rory would
all be like, man, I cannot be in that front left bunker again because I'm boned. So then
it changed it. I think over the course of four days, it would have a massive impact, but
then they kind of just took it away.
I don't know. So I hope TC puts a good word in for you at the RNA with his with his homies.
I'm hoping Yasser does. I'm glad. So I'm just glad for once something works out for the players out there.
You know, they've they've just said they get beat up every week.
They they have to struggle.
It just is really tough.
So I'm glad to see something go their way if they never did it.
If they didn't say anything about it, no one would have it.
You guys wouldn't even noticed when you wouldn't even, wouldn't even have anything to get mad about.
True. I have one. I'm mad at tell. That's a car.
Factual. No, because there might have been some outrageous positions, guys, would have
found themselves in Friday and Saturday. Like, Sheffler, Sheffler was able to get out of
that bunker on 18 Friday to make the cut. Imagine if that ball arrived, that looks like
against the lip. No, but he had no chance. I would say he made the cut only because they made that change.
Hell yeah.
And that's still hit the lip on the way up.
And it's still hit the lip, exactly.
It was hard to shit.
That shot was hard to shit.
And now he's gonna make how many fouls did it easier?
And now it was one of the few that got away with it.
I don't know.
I just don't think they need to fix that.
I like those bunkers playing as hard as they were.
I think that's one of the main defenses out there.
Hell yeah.
What else we got?
Anything else?
One thing I do want to say, I got to do their things.
I got to wrap this shit up.
I got to cut off on my recap.
But the last thing I wanted to say was I did spend a lot of time on Wednesday and Thursday
morning on 17.
And it was shocking.
Like, you know, oh my god, this gonna be such a devilish hole. I know the
wind's not blowing. It's a beautiful hole number one. I really like the hole and it's a cool setting
in a cool place to watch golf. The pin was front right on Thursday and it showed me how standing
there for watching five six groups go through. Every player hit the like middle left side of the
green. Nobody wanted nobody went to flag, you know, and it just shows how good these guys are.
They're like, oh, no, I'm just going to hit this one spot over here on the left side,
where if they have wedge in hand, it doesn't care. I don't care how sharp the fall off saw
and severe the munkers are. Nobody missed the one place to land on that green.
And so it was just kind of a, oh man, these guys are just, you know, they're really good.
So I know maybe that wasn't as profound as I thought it would be.
No, it's always good to, it's always good to see it in person.
Well, it's, I guess my point is it's interesting to watch these guys.
You know, they're all to see six groups all aim at the same spot where the pin is not and all of them hit it was like
Fuck man, like everybody knows exactly what to do and everybody's executing it perfectly. It's good to see in person how final line is to yes,
one or also just like modern technology being in control of your spin in your golf ball is a lot easier than that shot would have been 30 years ago, right?
And that yeah, trying to control the end of the win, but a lot of spin was like a huge aspect, especially this championship a long time ago, and just in
the case anymore. So you know what I just saw this from a commenter. I'm going to leave
you guys with this thought. What if Scotty Sheffler, who's made cut streak, is now continues
to be intact? What if he goes and matches the most impressive stat in the history of golf
Tigers made cut streak? And it's because of this breaking bullshit.
Then you will have to go.
Oh, God.
Maybe the cup would have been higher if everyone got like another one to score 50 more events
that he's there.
So for sure, I will address that but watch if we get that you will.
I can't believe that that Tron's about to get a flight to Frankfurt.
That's after seeing
after seeing this guy shoot the most juiceless 71 history. Oh my God. I mean, credit to
him though. Like I was saying, I got kicked off my my camping recap. Like I'm a bad sports
fan. He see you're a good sports fan. Like I just don't I don't know if I care enough
about anybody to do that.
It's just a man. Every time I think like, all right, this will be the one that syncs him. This will be
the one. And sure enough, it just continues to rise and rise like a Phoenix. And it's remarkable.
I hope I have. God, I gotta, I gotta, I'm just riding so hard for it to happen now. I can't wait.
It's, it's, as, as I think we said internally, it's like the, uh, the legends to
wanker, uh, the grid right now of all the places T.C.
can fall. It's, it's a pretty sharp line.
He's going to be, it's going to be 100% one or the other, right?
He's going to feel, he's going to either get there in the morning, be so jet
lagged, be fighting for parking and a ticket and a ride to the golf course. And how does he, how does he get there?
Who's he meeting? Like what contact? I'm in a pass. Like all that is going to be so miserable.
I can just get there. Tommy's going to bogey the first like three holes.
Does it does add to the stakes for me to watch tomorrow? For sure.
I would say he's got a lot of logistics ahead of him,
getting from Manchester Airport to whether he's running a car or not,
like getting his golf clubs.
I mean, there's just a lot between now and team.
Where's he leaving off?
Where's he leaving his golf clubs during the run?
Well, you know, T.C. has got his C-suite members up there.
The Chaps are going to probably let him do some club storage up there.
Maybe they'll let him sleep in the closet under the stairs. Oh
My god
Guaranteed to have a I wish I wasn't wearing this fucking shirt moment tomorrow. I was like
5 whole sand just be like I was gonna say that are the I don't want to be around anymore
He's writing it absolute high right now that I just saw the only tweet he put out was
T.O.D. Sanders wearing the hoodie say we come in
That's outrageous
One way or another he's gonna get so drunk tomorrow. It's gonna be awesome for sure
That's that's pretty much the only place to send.
That's the one thing we know for sure, Randy.
Winter lose.
We're going blackout.
We're rolling blackouts.
You've been literable.
Guys, this was turned into kind of an all-timer here.
So thank you for joining us.
I'll go to you to have you.
Thanks for hopping on.
Ben, thanks for producing on the ones and twos.
Thank you to everybody who tuned in official pick to win before we leave
TC
TC to win. Yeah
I mean, I'm going on the arm and I guess
Brian Harmon
Anybody saying Brian Harmon won't win
Brian Harmon. Anybody saying Brian Harmon won't win. If he doesn't win who does let's do that. Cameron Young for sure. I think I think he yeah. Cameron Young would would I'm gonna be out right
for Cam Young. Let's say that. I'll say wrong. Again that just I don't know how much more space is left
out on that limb that I'm on. Again imagine like June one being like by the end of July, the PGA
tour and live will have merged. Windom Clark and Brian Harmon are your major champions.
Oh, cool. Everybody else was supposed to be disqualified. Everybody else went to live, I
guess. What a weird like turn this year has taken starting with Ram and Brooks, the first
two majors to this scene is quite a change. It is. Change. I lied. I'm going to leave you with with one more
thought. Please go see Oppenheimer. Best movie going experience I've ever had. That's what I'm
going to say. Best theater experience. Just truly blew my fucking doors off. They're gone.
They'll be camped. No more doors. They't have no more doors. I was not 20 miles away
I got caught up in the blast zone that their doors are gone. So
High could one of the GeForce pictures when the pilot's right. Yeah, high highest recommendation. Just the absolute thrill ride loved it
Uh, and with that I'm gonna go see Barbie tonight and we'll uh, we'll leave you guys uh, leave you guys with that we'll report back
A little different 24 hours from BNTC.
But guys, thanks again, Ben, thanks again for hopping on,
and we will see everybody tomorrow.
Cheers. be the right club today.
That is better than most.
That is better than most.
Better than most. Anything different?
