or fighting against Glen, you came up with a third option. Kill the King and stop an invasion of the Crick from happening in the first place. Hot. Hot. Hot. That was it, go did.

The plan seemed completely impossible at first until you realized that you had a few allies locked within the king's dungeons, Shroom Rock and the deep elff Rangers of his outpost. When you presented the idea to Mimash,

she brought up another potential ally, her grandson, a ranger who had not returned home and was likely nabbed by the Blues. With a plan to infiltrate the castle and free some allies, you prepared to leave the creek, using a potion that Mimash gave you and some medicinal mulsons, you teleported

back to the living wood outside of the king's fortress. When you arrived, you saw the massive King Dorotar returning to his fortress, temporarily blanketing the sky. In shadow, you posed as blue elves and blue dragonborn and joined the scouting party, but bailed once you realized they were going to face the king. You pivoted and managed to convince some jailers to switch shifts with you after a strange lie about bed and breakfast reservations. Huh? Yep. Remember that? I think hot was a question mark. It was the right answer. And you were able to enter the castle posing as guards.

Once there, you saw the king finishing off the scouting party. He was furious that they did not bring him any void elf rangers, but was comforted by a strange half-drag and wizard with a lightning-powered circle that said she had won in the dungeon. The wizard headed below the castle and you followed her at a distance before losing her when you got into it with a jailer who you defeated without too much trouble. From there, you managed to free some of the... That was nice that you included that.

If I say it differently, it sounds kind of sarcastic and like you guys really did struggle without too much trouble. Ah! From there there you managed to free some of the imprisoned deep elves. Their leader Val gave you a lay of the land and explained that the wizard was known as the shock and quizzeter.

You began heading towards her office to look for Schrumrott when you came across the cell of a single Crick Elf. When you asked if he was big Bev, the injured Crick Elf flashed you a smile, and that's where we are now. So I'm looking at him, and I wanna know, does he live up to the name Big Bev? You look at Big Bev. Big Bev is a short king.

Big Bev. Ah! Big Bev, looks to only be about like five feet tall, slender builds, dark hair, goatee, these yellow, almost like cat eyes and blackened leather armor. And he looks at you guys with weary eyes and goes, y'all are wearing blue masks, but I reckon and I hope that you're not with the blues.

That's like, I mean, the only worst plan would be like trying to kill the king. Hey, I mean, I'd be down to tribe, but I got these, you know, magic lightning cuffs. Oh, okay. And you see he holds up the shackles that are around his wrists that are crackling with some kind of lightning magic.

I believe they were enchanted by this wizard lady. She's called the shocking inquisitor. She's the one who's been messing with all these doors. Oh, we've seen her. Yeah, she's like a half dragon. This blue half dragon wizard with a circuit sending electrodes directly into her skull. She holds her hands out and sends out a streak of lightning. Everybody go ahead and roll initiative. Now I need to fuck it. Oh, that's ten. Oh, shout out to the two crew. 25. That becomes an 11 for me, though.

Okay, Callie at initiative 25, you are first to act. You see, she has motions to do a lightning attack, but you get off one first. I feel like I'm gonna need to gather my resources. Yeah, if we can free these dragons, get rid of their captors, maybe we can take a little breather. Yeah. Yeah, let's try it back. Yeah, you see some of the deep elves who are like knights and dragon riders and stuff, ah, they look up and they go, yeah,

we should be able to defend this pretty easily. We can collapse some of the walls. There's only really one way in or out the King's Lair is deeper in But it's it's almost impossible for anyone but the King to get down there. It's not practical for humano It's to fly down the roost shoot. All right, okay So we a bunch of us can stay behind it offended after we free the dragons. There's four of those, there's a bunch of wormlings and like young ones and everything that are being kept in like little cages and stuff like that like little hatchlings Um, and then there's room rots Who looks immensely Focked up. He the first time you saw him he had like bloodshot eyes So you think that's kind of just like kind of his look and he's got you know all this fungus alongside of him

Um, and all these like gray scales and everything like that But you see his scales are soaked with blood. And he's got a chain around his neck. He's got separate chains on his like front legs, his back legs, his tail is changed down. He's got something around his neck. And you see this like cruel blue dragon is like laughing and instructing the dragonborn to continue shocking him as he screams and like roars. Is it just one blue dragon? One young blue dragon and four dragonborn guards

Damn, all of the dragonborn failed or wisdom saving throws, so they'll take full damage as this young dragon breathes out onto them. Sometimes you gotta fight toxicity with toxicity. The toxicity.

Time to myself. Yeah. That's interesting. Yeah. Just like nobody ever pulls this card. This is the eye of time to myself. Yeah, it's like saying like hide out, hide away, take some me time. You know, like be quiet. Quiet. Somewhere out. Yeah, like just go sit in a corner. You see the young, the young blue dragon nods. It goes to myself somewhere quiet.

And then you see Shroomrach newly freed, begins to loom behind him. He goes quiet like the cold void of death. And just bites down into the things neck. I just rip his throat out. I close my eyes so I don't make eye contact with him when he passes. That's gross. What pressure I can hold to please. Just lives away too long. You see, the deep dragons, free from their bindings, they all go in pounce on the blue dragon and quickly just tear into him,

they make quick work of him. And afterwards, you see Shroomrot with this crazed look in his eyes, having to finally get some revenge on his captors is breathing heavy. But then looks over at you guys, flashes a shroomy smile. UGH! Breaking into the King's Dungeons to free me and my people.
