The new plays the flute continue. All right, let's go ahead and do a little recap. Yeah. So last time you ran into a couple of corrupted rangers in the path of your undersea submersible. These sea elves had been charmed by Alexandraite and were being torn between their own psychic network and hers. You knocked them out after a brief battle, but discovered that Alexanderite's influence had spread to Cali.

Thankfully the effect was mild enough that Saul was able to eradicate it with a key strike. Still, still, it showed the potential disaster that could happen if Alexandria were to gain a psionic powers. I don't want like a key smite really. Wow. That's right. Because it was integral. Yeah. Are you sure you're not called well today? We did bump ahead in the bathroom. You headed to the undersea city of Suner and spoke psychically with one of the octo-magy

Ursia. You delivered the injured rangers to her and shared your experience with Alexandrite. Ursia did the same, saying that Alexandrite had been trying for weeks to take the city, but could not crack the psychic power of the magi, only able to influence C.L.V.'s who are far away from the city. You followed up by asking her about Gromdahl Bronzebeard, and she said that he was likely in the entertainment district being hit in by criminal psychics. Urcia reveals that Gromdahl had once been a friend of Therocrackarn of the Inkling

Syndicate, who taught Gromdahl had a combine psionic with his druidic powers. You said you're goodbyes to Urcia, but picked up a random guy named Ariaris to be your tour guy. Ariaris. Hey, what's up guys? Hi. Hey.

OK. After learning about seahorse racing from old guppy, a bartender at a different bar, he's coming with us too. You went to the equestrian and did some investigating. After poking around with detect thoughts, Callie found a familiar Aladdin named Daydor Tavister. Tavister was angry that Seahorse underdog

slow-danny eggs lost because he saw Gromdol win big placing the same bet. Daydor lamented his luck saying Gromdol win big, placing the same bet. Daydor lamented his luck, saying Gromdol was probably laughing at him from a sweet at the grand mariner hotel. Callie approached Daydor under the guise of Captain Pond Lily. Asking about business in Marangate and her sister, Saira, Daydor confirmed that Saira was angry about the failed eggs smuggling, but claimed that Callie was worth a lot of money now.

As the rest of you sensed the tension, Saul tried to get involved, but Daydor pulled the knife and two goons in squid masks, joined him, and that's where we are now. I called this goons. So we have already rolled initiative, we did it at the end of last episode, but did not get to combat. So as Daydore pulls the knife and these big goons jump in, again, sort of unnatural, bane-esque, you see veins from under their muscles.

Big, big buff C-elves with these bags over their heads, these black bags with little tassels that look like arms and tentacles. So shit, it's like a really jacked or a filipack. Yeah. And people around here know not to mess with the inkling syndicate, but they also don't want to be around when the fighting goes down.

So you see the sea elves and the water elementals nearby just begin running away, spilling over tables and hiding. You guys are engaged in battle with Deidor, who is this slick Aladdin with the Neck tattoo of the squid. We begin running away, spilling over tables and hiding. up high in this high-ceiling room. And it begins to swing back and forth, but the noise and everything just gets drowned out by everything else that's going on here. This dude was coming at me. He was coming at me. That's right, he was right. He goes at everybody, don't take it personally. Yeah, I'm gonna get my goo on you. What the fuck? Then I'm in this, I'm gonna cast Booming Blade. Okay, which I imagine has kind of like a polar vortex swirling around my ice blade.

Hell yeah. That's a 22 to hit, wood hit. But as you swing into him, he goes from being all frazzled and everything looking at Saul to he smirks, and you see his face begins rapidly changing. His body begins rapidly expanding, and he switches places with one of the hooks as you stab into the hook.

Whoa. Who screams at you? I didn't mean to hit you, but I... I'm ultimately, I have fine with it. I think I'll take two more attacks on the Hulk. Great. Another superhero. Not the actual Hulk.

13 to hit. This is, I'm sure, and a dirty 20. Dirty 20 hits. 13 does not hit, so you hit twice. 42 damage. Shit. Okay, you stab into this big goon, but you see it strangely begins to heal up and even like build out like bigger muscles.

It looks like he was injured, but it looks like his body's like rewriting its DNA, trying to fix itself and adapt to this problem. Oh my god, Wolverine style. You guys gotta stop saying the shit. See a lawyer on the other end of the park? Yeah, we're coming for you next. After Calder's turn, that is Daydor's turn.

That is the inkling syndicate goons these big dudes. They are going to first one that got stabbed is going to do a move called First one that got stabbed is going to do a move called reaping arms. See bones in their hands crack and break and turn into these big fists, kind of a more fucked up version of what Saul does, and just begin spinning and is gonna go after Kenna, called her and Saul.

Oh, yes. You're not supposed to use the bones for that, man. No. No. The attempt to hit Saul is a miss because it's only an 18. But a 22 to hit, called her. That'll do it. And a 15 to connect.

So Kenna rolls in, helps called her, as called her turns and says, thank you. She gets out of the way, but called her gets fucking clocked by this dude's spinner fist. And you take 16 damage, as you're punched in the gut, and then go ahead and give me a deck saving throw, as this dude lifts you up into the air with an upper cut like through your body and tries to knock you down. 21.

Just breaking all of his bones. You see his bones begin to protrude out from his fingers, making like claws. That's not, no. Just a huge, if you twist your hips a little bit, it might be much better. You have extra bones, it's not fair. It's a 22 to hit and a 25 to hit, both hit. A 23 damage. This dude's still up, but looking worse for where? Chunks of his skeleton seem to be broken off and where he's like trying to reform it isn't coming together fast enough and you're like shattering parts of his body.

This seems out of the ordinary. I'm going to put on my mother's ship goggles, my detection goggles, and see what I can see. You see that these dudes have Alexandrite magic in them. You see red around them. And you see that daydour does not have a lot of it, just like a little bit of Alexandrite magic. You see these dudes specifically as they power up and go for attacks, get up to 49% and then lower

when they're like chilling a little bit. Okay, these bowsos are fully compromised. Okay, guys compromised or optimized. I don't know if it's really a debate. Yeah, I kind of, I just make like a symbol of an A to my friends, cool, let them know what's going on. After Saul's turn, that is Kali's turn. And Kali, you see as Daydor is fighting with these guys down here with the goons,

is yelling around the room. I know you're still here, Petra Carr. Your buddies wouldn't be fighting and I don't think you just leave them, would ya? Or is that what you do? Run away! So if these constructs, I know that you're making them bone, you're third. So, I'm gonna say that these dudes, these goons, are powering up, and I'm gonna say they count as, like, inorganic. But I'm gonna say, Dadeur has so little of it

that he is not gonna count as inorganic. It would frighten to make him have disadvantage on that. He does not frighten Dadeur. And as he's bisected and lands on the ground, you see his body is like trying to reform and just looks like a weird pile of actual plasso. No. Riharis, keep an eye on that. Just kind of tug them apart. Just start sweeping them apart. Okay. That's really good. I'm gonna do a nose whistle of my own and action search. Okay, great. This one's for you, Kelly. Mm, wherever you are, but I know it's far away from here.

It's not, it comes out of your nose and it's so low. It's not got on my feet, man. Dude. You're covered in venom. And you do manage to use cleav rules. You do manage to hit the other gun when you stasic. It's 25 hits, a 26 hits. One more.

And a 17, 17 also hits. 43 damage. This dude is doing the same thing. The other guy was, as you break his bones and stuff, he starts trying to reform them in ways that are weapons, literally is growing like bone claws and things like that, just using his injuries to make himself stronger. Saul, you see that as they're regenerating

and as they're making their fist larger and stuff, the amount of Alexandria goes up, but it never cracks 50. Okay, all right, it's remaining below 50, but they're off the charts, these A levels. So, after Calder's turn, that is Daydor's turn. Saul, he goes up to 49%. After Calder's turn, that is daydorse turn. Saul, he goes up to 49%. So you see, suddenly, he begins glowing

with some kind of magical energy and darts out his psychic dagger. And from it, you guys hear this piercing sound in your brain that makes you instinctively like clutch your ears and try to get away from it. Everybody give me intelligence, saving throws, except for Callie. Ooh, not 20, bitch.

Sing. There we go. That's my strong tall friend. That's an 11 for me. Okay. Saul and Kenna are staggered by an overwhelming psychic well for 37 damage. Okay, I'm going to use my reaction to,

he has to do wisdom save, or it's gonna go back on him. He takes that last hit. Ooh, he fails the wisdom save. So he takes 37 damage. He takes 37 damage back. That's shit. You see, as Kenna clutches her head and screams,

flashes go back towards Deidor, who grabs his head. Ah! Ah! Yeah, that's right. I just, that buke the violent. I just instantly heard all of your bad ideas all at once. I have good ideas. You guys are also poisoned.

It effectively gives you like an insane headache and you're not able to focus So after daydors turn that's rears is turn and Rears just walks over and goes do you guys need adville? would be able to see into it. But you could potentially climb up there. Yeah, I'm gonna climb up there and then kind of just using my suction pads, kind of just trying like circumnavigate the top of it. Cool. I saw so many people having sex on my way up and I just did like clear that vision from my head.

You do see that there's like various fish swimming around on the other side there and there are long like circular couches that line the outside. You see a big bed that looks messy and there are a couple of bags and like things strewn about on there. From here, what you can deduce with the check that you did without going inside,

you can see that it does look like a solo traveler and they are not there right now at the moment. It seems like somebody showed up, plopped their stuff down, you see a, it looks like they cast some kind of spell or something, you see a little like glass bottle that looks like some ash or something like that has been left behind and there are some papers

the spell is still here. You cast it and you don't really sense anything breaking. Okay. Can I look at the fish? Maybe do it like an animal handling check to see if they are charmed by Gromdol as a security system. You got it.

You see like on the box it says Celia's salacious scry orb that has like a picture of a CLF wizard on it, casting a spell on an orb. So it looks like he got this from some kind of magic store and there are instructions included that read, simply burn the name of the person

you wish to scry on and hold the orb over the smoke. Is that any way to find this piece of paper that he put the name on? It's in the ashes, right? Can we try to put it together? Yeah. Do you have mending or anything like that? I don't have anything that could be good. Okay.

I'll just say you guys can just do an investigation check if you wanna see if there's bits of it because it didn't necessarily all burn to ash.
