This is a headgum podcast.
Welcome to Mario Party Tabletop, everybody.
We've got some returning guests, Mike Trapp and Sung-One Cho.
Hello.
Someone is going to be running something super cool for us.
I hope it's cool.
It looks freaking rad.
We'll post pictures over on the Patreon.
But yeah, we've got a Mario Party board out here.
We've all got some Mario OCs.
Yes.
There is an absence.
Jake Hurwitz is not here.
Jake lives in New York.
Usually we have him here remotely.
And he's planning for Scaldova.
He's planning for Scaldova.
He's really upset.
He couldn't be here.
He said, I love Mario, and I'm so sad my Mario.
He knows Mario the best, yeah.
He said, I really wanted to play Goku.
And that's when we uninvited.
So why don't we throw to Song One, and you can take it from here.
Yeah.
You have all, it's four grown adults who are like, boy, I hope I didn't fuck up.
and like we're going to do something real boring
for like the next five few hours.
You're in God's hands now.
Who exists in the Mario universe.
Kind of describing every podcast.
That's true.
Yeah.
So yes,
I designed all of this from scratch
and I'll explain the rules in a second.
I do want to hear everyone's Mario OC
what their names are in the descriptions,
which has no bearing on it.
I just demanded to Caldwell
that everyone has to have a Mario OC.
Yeah.
Well,
I'm so glad because when I play board games
that have no characterization or plot,
to them. I still inject that.
No. I know. I love it, right?
It's hard not to. It's so hard not to.
Candyland is a misery with me.
So like, what's great about this is either
you're all going to have a great time or
it's going to be like, you know, when you go to a birthday party
and only the birthday kid is having fun,
aka me, either way.
I would have a great time.
That's like when I had the Diablo two birthday party
to beat it all in one night and a bunch of people left real early.
Oh, shit. Well, I would have stayed.
But let's just go around the table and just say your character's name and describe them.
I will be playing Lord Jonathan Schell.
I'm the bastard son of King Cooper.
I have not been acknowledged for succession.
He has sent me on a doomship expedition with his brother, Fake Bowser.
So of course, the blue Bowser we all know.
Yes, Bowser's brother, who we mentioned last time I was in.
I was his brother, yes.
I hoped by playing this game to prove myself to my father and knock Bowser Jr.
out of the line of succession.
Oh, I'm rooting for you.
Thank you so much.
I've never laid with a woman.
Well, that might be about to change.
I was saying, Mark, you sound just like the potion, so like.
Potions, Hillary.
I have no time for potions.
I have no time for potions.
I only require coins and stars.
All right, who's next?
All right, I'll say my character,
what's up?
I'm totally.
I also haven't laid with a woman.
Brother.
That probably won't change today.
Yeah, that's not going to change any time soon.
sort of failed Nintendo mascot from the 90s.
They were trying to do the rad thing.
I'm Funky Kong, but for Toads.
And I rollerblade.
Hell yeah.
Your feet seem to be in pain.
Hi, I'm wet bones.
You might have heard of dry bones.
I'm like that, but I guess I'm a little different.
I, too, have not laid with a woman.
And I'll be playing.
Bluster Kong's mother,
the Barrel Baron of Congo Bongo Island.
Oh, fuck.
Donna Kong.
Oh, fuck.
Trailblazer in the barrel industry
and an absentee mother.
I run barrel works.
I'm an absentee.
Have you not seen Donkey Kong?
Bluster has a very complicated relationship
with me, Donna Kong.
I run barrel works factory
and one day I'll bequeath it
to my fail son.
And I have laid with a woman.
Are you looking for a consort?
Always.
I've been the knee.
I'll just say at the top of this, like, I told Caldwell,
oh, it takes about three hours.
He's like, is there any way we can shorten that?
But I think here's what we're going to do.
We're just going to see how it goes, right?
Yeah, yeah.
We'll play it by year.
It's normally a 20 turn.
So the more you know about the N64 Mario,
which, Murph, you said you know a bit about.
I know a decent amount.
Which ones did you play?
Mario Party, I would say one, two,
three?
I would say a peek into our life.
Murph resurrected.
He still has an N64.
He resurrected it to play Mario Party.
Oh, shit.
Like in the past five years.
We played Mario Party together after some reports.
You know, I know all about freaking bumper balls.
Yeah, okay.
Bombs away, running of the bulb.
Whoa.
Oh, okay.
Caldwell, you're a nerd.
I know you know this stuff.
Yeah, yeah.
I've dipped into Jamboreen as well.
Oh, fuck.
Okay, yeah.
And Trap, you said you weren't super well-burzed.
Oh, no. I have seen Mario Party being played.
Okay.
I was a Sega kid.
Sure.
I'm sorry.
He's never laid with a Mario.
I've never laid with a Mario.
It's weird that they ask you that question up top when you play Mario.
Yeah, you like, what's your name?
Like, what's your name?
Like, have you lain?
He's just like a little me.
Charles Martin A goes, oh, sorry.
That sucks.
And, Emily, how about you?
I've played with Murph.
Okay, sure.
Since this little resurrection, but Murph was my introduction to laying with Mario Part.
Okay.
So my hopes is that this is still fun, even if you're not super knowledgeable.
It will remain to be seen.
But let's just dive in to just kind of how this works.
So you're going to have five stats, and I would write these down.
You got jump, strength, speed, evasion, and accuracy.
Okay.
So those are the five stats you're going to have.
throughout the game.
I'm going to give you each 50 stat points,
and you can allot them how you'd like,
but I'm going to explain how the game works first.
Okay, okay.
My whole sort of design philosophy was this,
is like, the more you play Mario Party,
the better you get at it, right?
In theory, in real life, right?
So this is the sort of design philosophy
is that you keep the stats for your character
and you can bring them back for a future game,
that kind of thing.
So this is the mechanical equivalent of when you learn
you can, like, grind the middle joystick
with your polymns.
Yeah.
Exactly. So whenever I ask you to do a specific skill role, I'll say like, do a speed roll or whatever, you get to choose a die. So you have the D4 through D20. All right. Okay. Okay. Okay. And you have a chance to permanently upgrade that skill depending on what you roll. Okay. So here's how the modifier system works. It's just so simple, you look at the tens place of your stat. So like if I've got a jump stat of 20 or 24 or whatever, that means you can increase or decrease your jump roll by 10.
2.
Plus 2.
Got it.
Just a simple, just like look at the tense play.
So as you increase it, if it's 30, it's a modifier of 3.
If it's 40, it's modifier of 4.
Okay.
I'm trying to make this as simple as possible so that people who don't play a lot of these
can kind of jump in.
With that said, here's this whole table with the dice rolling.
So when you do a skill roll, you can choose a dice whichever one you want.
The D20 is obviously going to give you the most, you know, highest roll potential, right?
But the D4 obviously is not very good, but you have a much higher chance of permanently upgrading the skill.
Does that make sense?
If you roll like a 16 to 19, you get a permanent plus two upgrade to your stat.
If you're rolling the D20.
I like that.
And if you crit, you get to add four.
So throughout the game, you're going to be slowly increasing these stats as you go.
Why don't we speed run a D&D campaign with these rules?
It's all there.
You don't have to have to have this right now,
but I encourage you if you roll a crit at any time
to yell a celebratory phrase like,
oh yeah, or I got it.
So just think about it as we go.
You should have a stark phrase.
Like in the end, 64, when you press L and taunted,
it would repeat like a phrase,
what would your character's crit taunt be?
Just think about that in the back of your mind.
Great.
Okay.
I mean, Donna Kong's wouldn't be I got it,
but I can't get that out of my head.
That's pretty good.
Instead of I got it, it's I want it.
I want it.
Oh, that's pretty good.
I shall have it, father.
So, for example, let's say Trap, I was like, all right, do a speed roll.
You would pick the dye.
Let's say you pick the D10.
Sure.
And then you roll it.
And go ahead and do it, actually.
Just roll it.
Give it a shot.
Why not?
Fuck around.
Let's a tell it.
That's a 10.
Okay.
That would be a Chris.
I'm getting wet.
It's pretty good.
So you would permanently end.
add plus four to that stat.
Cool.
So these will be,
you'll be changing these as we go.
And there are some mini games
for actually reducing your role
might be the key.
Whoa.
So there's that too.
We'll go through each mini game as we go.
Sure.
Now, I don't think it will happen in this game.
If your stat hits 100,
it will reset,
but you'll get what's called a dice point.
I'll explain that if we hit it.
I don't think we're going to hit 100.
Unless someone of you like crits all the time,
which would be kind of funny.
The game design is so fucking nested.
I love it.
So for those of you who have not played or are not super familiar with Mario Party, the goal is to get the most stars.
Okay?
Stars are worth 20 coins.
And so Toad is going to randomly spawn on the board.
In fact, I'm going to set these right now.
Yeah.
So I have it already rolled.
Toad is going to be on space nine.
It's right in front of the, right behind the cup of a bank thing.
Okay.
Ooh.
All right.
There's a star.
Put him on nine.
Baby Bowser.
We're going to put him on space.
Space 38.
Okay.
So it's on the island down there.
Baby Bowser will fuck you up, right?
He will take five coins for you every time you pass him.
Now, I am also noticing that you have these two little pouches.
They look like drug Ziplocs, but full of Mario stars.
I got these off Etsy.
These are, I'm going to give you stars as you earn the stars.
Also, Calwell, God bless you, those do not look like drugs.
They come in a bag, so they look like drugs.
Yeah.
I'm cool.
He's seen HBO.
Yeah.
Right.
So most stars will be the winner at the end of the game.
Coins are the tiebreaker.
That's hard.
I'm only interested in coin.
The meta of N64 Mario Parties, and actually most Mario Parties, it's at the end of the game, there are three bonus stars.
Okay.
One will be given to whoever wins the most coins during mini games, which I'll keep track up on my end.
Okay.
One will be whoever had the most coins at any point during the whole game.
Okay.
Okay.
That's the coin star.
And one will be given to whoever lands on the most question mark spaces.
So you can see on the board there are some question mark spaces.
God damn.
They all do different things.
I'll keep track of that on my end as well.
So at the end of the game, those three bonus stars will be handed out.
Okay.
So keep that in mind.
One for winning.
So you want to win a lot of many games.
You want to have a lot of coins, maybe.
And you want to land on the most question marks if you want to go for those bonus stars at the end.
I see.
Okay.
Dare I say let's a go.
Let's a go.
So you can hold three items at a time.
There's a whole item shop thing.
We'll get to that when we get to it.
Oh, my God.
And if you want to use an item, you can only use one per turn.
You have to do it before you roll your dice.
Okay.
Before we start, 50 stat points.
You may allot them within those five however you want.
Oh, man.
Yeah.
Okay, this is when the lore questions come in.
Okay, so I am a businesswoman.
So definitely evasion because I evade taxes.
And speed because I move fast break things.
Those are my top stats
She's a disruptor.
I got low strength, I would imagine.
I was just a little toad.
I got high strength for sure.
I've been training with my uncle fake Bowser.
The fun thing about choosing a little weiner character is like,
this guy just sucks it.
It's like, no, wet bones, that's not strong.
Wet bones.
I'm going to go jump 20, strength, zero, speed 10,
evade 10, accuracy 10.
Nothing wrong with that, yeah.
Yeah, all right.
I will say that every mini game in Mario Party
two and three is included and accounted for in design.
Wow.
Incredible.
It's kind of a lot.
Okay.
I'm doing jump five, strength five, speed 10, evasion 20, accuracy 10.
Nice.
Okay.
Because it's not about the accuracy when you move fast, break things.
I'm doing jump 15, strength five, speed five, evasion 15, accuracy 10.
Just took five from two of them.
Sure, sure.
I see Caldwell doing a lot of a racing.
I'm imagining there's a lot of 12s and 13s in there.
This is ordering takeout food all over again for me.
I do love that it was like, is there any way we can speed up this game?
Also, let me give you the background of my characters,
and I'm going to choose prime numbers for all of my...
You good?
Yeah, I put it all into strength.
I've got 25 strength, 10 jump, 10 speed, evasion and accuracy are very low because I'm a big boy.
Okay, good, good.
And I'm wearing full plate armor.
Wow.
So everybody, let's decide turn order.
Roll a D-10.
Ooh.
Oh, yeah.
Okay.
Yeah, they do roll a D-10 in Mario Party, huh?
Seven.
Six.
Seven.
Seven.
Well, I got a seven as well.
What?
You three roll off.
Okay.
Woo.
Seven.
Two.
Five.
Who said seven?
Totally.
Totally.
All right.
So you're going to be first.
You had a five, right?
I have five, yeah.
And I had a two.
Okay.
Oh, fuck.
I'm going to do the thing where I roll.
right into the star and then I can't buy it.
And then I'm bringing up the rear,
but this is where I like to play from.
You like to play from the back?
In business?
No.
All right.
A valid strategy.
Okay.
Very confident.
Totally starts sweating.
So, also for listeners,
we're also using a Discord chat to log rolls in,
which actually might be useful for mini games and so on and so forth.
You'll see why.
All right.
Are we all ready to begin?
Yeah.
Yes.
For my father.
Oh, yeah.
So for rolling on the board, you're going to use a D10.
Just everything in this is meticulously based on the N64 games.
Hell yeah.
Okay.
And sorry, I should say everyone starts with 10 coins.
So go ahead and write on your marker board 10 coins.
Okay.
Murph, go ahead.
All right.
Turn one.
All right, let's go.
Two.
All right.
So with a two, I land on a red.
That's a minus three coins for you.
Oh, fuck.
All right.
Trap.
Roll.
All right.
Three.
Three.
Okay.
Oh, and that's going to land you on.
And keep me honest, because I can't really see the board that.
Well, on my end, I believe you're going to land on three, so that's three coins for you.
All right.
All right.
Well, wet bones.
Well played, sir.
You're wet, and you get coins.
Do you want any investment advice?
Ooh, 10.
Okay.
Congratulations on not being able to afford a star, you fucking loser.
So as you pass that Kupa bank space, you're going to deposit five coins in.
into it. Okay, nice. So you lose
five coins. Yeah, you're going to lose five coins.
What happens if anyone lands on that
Kuba Bank, you get all the coins that were on
it. That's investing in your future
right there. Now,
you're going to pass over this star, actually,
because it's not a space,
and then you're going to go on to Space 11,
I believe. That's going to get three coins back.
Ooh, okay, three coins back.
And then Emily, go ahead.
Okay. Rolling the dice.
She does that every day.
I do that every day.
with my life and my son's legacy.
What did you roll?
Four.
Okay.
Oh, I laid it out a treasure chest.
That is an item of space.
I'm going to roll you a random item.
Oh, I love things.
God, I hope it's designer.
Lady Kong, please marry my father.
Donna Kong, can you name a designer?
Do you think I need someone more powerful than me?
Think of what it could do for the kingdom.
You roll a cellular shopper.
Okay?
You can write that on your note.
This is a cell phone.
You can use it at any point to buy an item, just access the item shop.
So perfect.
I immediately put it in my ear as a Bluetooth.
Hell yeah.
Okay, yes, I'm on vacation, but I'm also working.
Normally you have to go to an item shop to buy items, but you can spend it and just access the item shop once.
Okay, cool.
Mom.
Mom, come play.
All right, let's get.
Mommy's working, bluster.
Actually, that's my new crit sound.
Okay, that's pretty good.
So how the minigames are also decided are based off your colors you landed on.
Wow.
So Emily, you were on green and I'm rolling for you.
You're red.
Who's Emily?
I'm so sorry, Donna.
Donna Kong.
Donna Kong.
You are going to be on the same team as Jonathan, Johnny.
All right, so Johnny and Donna are going to be on a team on this.
It's going to be versus wet bones and totally.
The least popular kids in school.
And our game is going to be
Dungeon Dash.
Ooh, appropriate.
Each turn, you're going to do a speed roll.
Your roles must be within four of each other
to take a step.
You're both kind of like doing like a unison step kind of thing.
Okay.
The first team to take four steps wins.
Can't believe we're tied together,
even though we hate each other.
I feel like you really like me a lot.
We'll see if at the end of this journey
we can go to like each other or not.
I'll say for each team, one of you can roll first so that the other can decide what dice to use after.
Oh, you clever dog.
Weapons, what's your speed at?
Five.
Five?
Okay.
So that means plus zero to his roll, and I have 10 that's plus one to my roll.
Correct.
Okay.
Or minus one.
You have a one modifier.
Oh.
You can do plus one or minus.
So maybe I should roll first so you have a little bit more flexibility.
Okay.
And then do you want to just do a D4 so we can pump our freaking stats, dude?
Let's do it.
Let's do the D4.
One.
Okay, so you're not gonna get a stat boost.
I'm so dry.
Alright.
I'm also realizing this mini game was not balanced for the new rules, but we're gonna
fuck, we're gonna go with it.
This might be a chance to get some stats.
Yeah.
All right, so we're gonna freaking cheese this.
So I'll do a minus one then because you've got a one.
Yeah.
So now I have a minus one to this and I'm gonna roll a D4.
And I got a four.
And I got a four.
Oh, within four.
So I get plus four to the stat.
There you go.
So that's one step?
So I'll add a plus four to my stat.
And then I got a three, but because it's a minus one,
so it would be a trap move one step.
Okay.
Sounds good.
My lady, they've taken an early.
Disclosure.
This whole dice upgrade system is pretty new.
I love it.
So we're going to run into some mini games where I'm like, all right,
you're going to have to change that for next time.
But it's all good.
That's okay.
We're beta testing.
But this might be good.
This might be a good way to do.
just start getting some stats.
Yeah.
That's a tasty home, bro.
As someone who just rolled a four, I'm into it.
I'm wondering, do we want to do a D6 just to be different?
Yes, indeed.
A D6, we must strike out.
We must make ourselves known to my Lord Father.
I got a two plus one, it becomes a three.
Okay, so I got to get within that.
I think I can do that.
That's a six.
Ah, my speed is, so that's minus one, becomes a five.
That's great.
Yeah, we're in there.
And you critted, right?
credit.
Whoa.
So I boost my stat by plus four.
Amazing.
Okay.
Let's keep going.
All right.
So we both moved to step.
Trapp,
you want to go?
Yeah.
Okay.
Wetbones,
Alliance.
We're the only ones
without boosted stats.
Immediately turned.
Don't turn on us so fast.
Do we just keep the same strategy?
Do that D4?
It's crazy because my mother's mother
started this barrel.
You got another one.
Another one.
I'm so dry.
Come on, man.
You just.
son to my father. I got another four.
This is really telling a story.
Absolutely rocks from here. It's all due
minus one, so we get within one.
Someone gave him some Vaseline. Another plus
four to my stats. Nice. Lading is life.
Are we
committed to sixes, the
D6 now?
Wait, let's go up.
Okay, sure. That's crazy. That's
absolutely crazy.
Doesn't make any sense. You have to break a few bells.
I got a one.
Oh, okay. Okay.
That's a two.
So I got to roll low here.
That's a six minus one becomes a five.
We made it.
We made me.
All right, so two steps for each.
I'm still limping a lot.
I'm kind of, just for the narrative of it,
I'm kind of hoping for another one.
Yeah, that'd be kind of good.
Another one!
Oh, there we go.
You're not even adding anything in your stats.
You guys just fucking suck.
I'm so dry.
What is your speed step?
What bones?
Five.
Okay, so you can't add anything to anything.
Yeah, I literally just got another floor.
So what we're learning is that totally's a fucking speedy motherfucker.
He's on his blades, man.
He's just...
I've gotten fucking plus 12.
It's not...
Speed is now what highest that.
Just blading through, dragging wetlands behind it.
Three steps.
Okay.
Jonathan and Donna.
Okay, I'm actually going to drop down a dice by calling in an assistant to do it for me.
Oh, okay.
So we're going to default.
All right, D4.
That's a 4.
There we go.
I shall claim a 4 as well.
Oh, I'm sorry.
Mommy's working, Bluster.
There we go.
Your son, Bluster, he could be my new brother.
A 4 as well.
Oh, shit.
My lady, it is destiny.
You see it.
I can get a 4 if I wanted to.
My mom says ones are just as good as 4.
So I had a plus 4 to my stat?
Is the bluster intentional for an arrested development thing, like a Buster
bluth?
Or is that completely?
No, not at all.
It's from based in...
I know who Buster Kong is.
In Bluster Kong, there's a running thing
that he's always calling his mom
and she's always disappointed and disapproving in him.
Okay.
So this is like preexisting lore.
Okay, I love that shit.
All right.
This mini game was fully not designed for this.
Let's keep going.
Back to Wet Bones and totally.
We each have taken three steps.
So if they get this step, they win.
Not yet.
Not yet.
See how you guys do.
There will be a tie breaker.
Oh, you got a three.
So you get to add stats.
You get plus two.
Yeah.
So go ahead and add plus two to your speed stats.
I just got another fucking four.
This is how everyone felt competing against me in business.
And then I'll do minus.
Okay, wait.
My stat is different now because I have plus.
Okay, but you're at what?
My stat was what?
It was five.
So I'm at seven now.
So you're at seven.
So that's still zero.
So you got a three?
I got a three.
So you have a three.
So I'm rolling a plus two, and I got a four.
So I got a six, so we're still within four.
Yeah.
And you could lower it anyway.
Got you.
Yeah.
So you're good.
All right.
I guess we just stay with the fours, right?
It was our only success.
Sometimes you have to play it safe.
Three.
Four minus one.
That's a three.
Okay.
Perfectly in sync.
Mary my dad.
So, full disclosure, this game was originally designed with everyone rolled D20s.
So it was a lot.
I didn't have the time to go through all of these.
There's a lot of mini games.
Think of this as like a skill grinding game.
Oh, yeah.
So what we're going to do to decide it is everyone do a speed roll.
Ooh, okay.
Highest one from both teams, like whichever will win.
Is it D20 now?
Well, if you want to try to.
Yeah.
We got to D20.
I'm going to go D20.
Yeah.
Okay.
Pour my father.
All right, I got 12.
Six.
Three.
14, which is the age.
I was when I started business.
All right.
So that means that's going to be a win for both Donna and Jonathan.
I'm going to learn your fucking character.
So that's 10 coins for both of you.
Totally gets so pissed off in a way where you realize why he got fired from Nintendo.
Why they can't use him.
Fuck!
Fucking shit!
You know, the real victory is having fun.
Fuck you!
It gets weirdly in your face.
So already, how I'm going to change this game for next time is if you roll the same, you'll get a bonus.
So I'm going to be patching this in real time.
That's cool, though.
I promise some of these are like good.
Okay, so let's go to turn two.
All right.
Let's go.
Murph, go ahead and roll.
Okay, D10.
Blade.
I got a one.
One?
Okay.
So there's going to be three coins for you.
Ooh.
Nice, nice.
We're on the same spot.
Buddies forever.
Walking together.
I'm imagining that the wet bones looks like dry Play-O-N-O-N-L.
Six.
Six?
Okay.
So you're going to pay five coins into the bank.
Ooh.
The bank is filling up.
You're going to pass over the star because you don't have enough, right?
My father owns that day.
I've got eight coins.
Yeah.
So you're going to pass over.
And the star doesn't count as a space.
You're going to land, I believe, on Caldwell space.
Or no, you're right at before him on 10.
Yeah, I'm at 11.
Okay.
You've served my father will.
So three coins for you.
And how much is the star again?
20.
It's just in a weird spot right now where it's going to be too expensive for most people.
That's fair.
Really?
Okay.
So Wetbones, have you spoken to my father recently?
How goes to the war?
Man, he doesn't let me talk.
Correct answer.
Jonathan, whenever you're ready.
Notice me, father.
Nine.
Okay.
One, two.
You have seven more spaces, but you're at the item shop.
Do you want to buy anything?
Ooh.
Can I look at this list you gave me?
Absolutely.
Oh, awesome.
How many coins?
You have 18 coins?
I have 18 coins.
Ooh, okay.
You got options.
Let's see.
Give me a second to look over these.
I know there's a lot.
It's every item from Mario Party
two and three combined.
Yeah.
So I will say when you go to an item shop,
you can spend 30 coins to get three random items.
Or also those ones at the bottom can only be gotten through item spaces.
All right.
All right.
Well, I don't have 20 coins.
So I'm thinking what I want to do is I'm going to buy the Bowser phone.
Hell yeah.
Okay.
So I can call my father.
Okay.
And that's what, five coins?
That is 10 coins.
10 coins.
So I have eight.
And that allows you to call Bowser on anyone.
Yes.
You'll be able to fuck somebody shit up at some point.
All right.
And I'm going to move you.
One, two.
So that door is a skeleton key door.
You can't open it.
If you're on with skeleton key,
you're going to go the other way.
So that's being one, two, three, four.
Are you landing on space on that question mark in the middle, I believe?
Is he had one, two, three, four.
You are.
I'm on this green question mark here.
I'm crossing this bridge.
What happens is on this bridge.
If you land on a question mark, you get blasted back to the start.
No.
And, uh, father.
And if anyone else was on the bridge, they would get blasted off too.
It's based off literally the same in the game.
So I go back to the starting space?
Back to the start.
All right, Donna, whenever you're ready.
I've seen setbacks before.
Donna Kong.
Donna Kong.
Seven.
It's just a lot of Donna.
One, two, three.
You're going to put five coins into the bank.
Of course I am.
Well, do you now do you not have enough for the star?
She does not have enough.
Yes!
Yes!
Taxation is theft, actually.
Wait, can I evade that tax?
You cannot, unfortunately.
You're going to pass the bank.
I have the best lawyer's money can buy.
Whoa.
Oh, this is interesting.
You're going to land, I believe, on space 12
because you're passing over the star.
So you're going to actually be forced to move.
A shark is going to move you to a different space.
Whoa.
I never swim.
So you're going to.
My shoulder pads.
You are a shark.
They prevent me from going underwater.
So you're going to lose five coins.
And the shark is going to take you over to,
you see that dock over there sort of west
with another arrow.
Let's see.
Oh, whoa.
Not that one, go slightly up.
Wow, so the shark drags you across the...
So you're on another...
Oh, shark attack, bluster, save me.
And then you're going to get three coins back.
Oh, the shark just gave me money.
And this shark is Mark Cuban, right?
She's made an alliance.
Last time I was on shark take it went way back.
Back off. I'm saving that Kong for my father.
So you're blue.
Blue. I am.
You're green because you're hilling out on the question.
Yeah, yeah, I'm green.
So I'm going to roll and see what color you are.
Please, 3V1 and let us kill Caldwell.
Nope, it's going to be a four-player game.
Fuck.
Every Kong for themselves.
Yeah.
All right, let's see what we get.
For the glory of the cupas.
Hey, everybody, Emily here.

is going to be deep sea salvage.
Ooh.
We're trying to grab coins.
Wow.
You are in submarines.
Yeah.
My shoulder pads are like life fest.
I can't get down there.
She's already made an alliance with the sharks.
What other sea creatures does she have in her pocket?
Oh, that's true.
I tip the shark.
So this one's pretty simple.
This one is a bonus game, which means everyone can win coins.
Oh, okay, great.
And it's a very simple one.
You're on subs trying to go for treasure.
You're just going to do speed rolls.
Oh, no.
Lowest roll gets nothing.
Oh, no.
Highest roll grabs four and anyone in the middle gets a coin.
We're going to do this five turns.
So this is where the dice choice is going to make.
Yeah, because you could try and be boosting.
If you want to really go for those coins, use the D20, right?
Because that's higher range.
Or if you're like, fuck it, I'm going for stat boosting.
So keep that in mind.
Okay.
I love coin.
I'm going for 20.
Actually, I'll start with 10.
So we're all doing a speed roll.
Okay.
Everybody, go ahead and roll.
And then put your roll in the chat.
Yes, I got a 10.
Whoa.
All right, I'm rolling a D12.
So just so that we're all on the same page, because it's early, on how the dice roll worked,
what did everybody roll, and what is your stat for speed?
I got an 18, I have a plus 2, so I got a 20.
Right, Caldwell.
I got a 6 plus 2 becomes an 8.
Perfect.
I got a 10 on a D10 plus 1 becomes an 11, but it's also a stat boost.
Okay, and then trap?
I rolled a 7.
I only have a 5 speed, so I don't think I modify that at all.
Right?
and I think a seven doesn't give me anything,
so it's just a flat seven.
Because what dice would roll?
D20?
A D20, yeah.
Oh, yeah, that sucks.
Yeah.
Just nothing.
Just straight.
All right.
It's going to be four coins for MIRF.
That's going to be one coin for called on Emily.
Woo.
This is my natural habitat.
Yeah.
All right.
Go ahead and do another speed roll.
Yeah.
Woo.
I'm going to keep going for 20 because I got to get them coins because I'm before the start.
Yeah.
Oh, real bad.
I'm going to try a D12 this time.
I'm going to mix it up.
Christ, like, crap.
Wet bones can't do anything.
I'm sorry.
Oh, gee.
Somebody get that guy a Gatorade.
I rolled the D20 and I only got a five total.
I rolled a D20 and I got a five but becomes a seven.
I'm playing it safe like my cowardly uncle fake Bowser with a tin.
Oh, fuck a two.
I rolled a D12 and I got a two.
I modify that to nothing.
It is a two.
It is a flat.
Wet bones is just, like, I got to be honest here.
But these were really bad roles.
Yeah, bad rules across the board.
I won.
So Donna Kahn gets four.
That's going to be one for Jonathan, I should say.
And that's going to be one for totally.
This is fully flashback to like me playing any sport as a kid.
Or it's just like, I'm so shitty at this.
And I don't understand how everyone else is better.
All right, let's do another speed roll.
All right.
Still going for the D20 even though I rolled back.
I'll stick with a 10.
I'm going to do a 10 this time.
Fuck it.
All right.
I got a 9.
Oh, my 11.
I got a 19 becomes 21.
Wow, Donna.
I got a 3 becomes 3.
The shark is helping me.
Which one?
I did a D10 this.
I've been reducing the dice rolls to be like,
crap, I'm so sorry.
It's okay.
You know what?
This feels in character with my phone, so it's okay.
Okay, so that's going to be four for Donna.
I'm sorry for that.
That's gonna be one for, for, I'm just gonna say players names, I'm sorry, Caldwell.
Yeah, that's fine.
I'm running a lot of stuff here and then you're good.
You're good.
Okay, I'm at 16.
Let's see if Wetbones can get one coin.
All right.
That's the goal.
Round four.
All right, come on.
I'm gonna do a D8 this time.
Come on D-20.
Okay, not bad.
That is.
I'm a wet.
Oh shit, is that correct?
You credit on it.
Plus four to speed for you.
All right.
permanently.
Okay, listen,
everything's coming out wet bones.
Okay.
All right, I got a 13.
All right,
throw your rolls in the chat.
Yeah, I'm gonna do a D12.
All right.
I'm cooking now.
Oh, no.
Is that a nat?
Father!
Oh, fuck.
I understand why you banished me.
So that's gonna be four for Murph.
Yes, I'm at 20.
That's gonna be one for wet bones.
Oh, shit.
There you go.
I'm wet.
And one for Emily.
All right.
I cannot let my bed.
Beloved, Wendy O'Cupor, see me like this.
All right.
No way, you bagged her.
I'm going, now that I've got 20, let's see what happens.
I'm going, now that I've got 20 for my star, I'm going D4 to grind my stats.
Yeah.
I'm going to do a D20 again.
I got a four total, but I got a two, so I got a plus two.
You know what?
I was grinding with four.
I'm going to grind with six now.
I got a six.
Whoa.
Okay.
All right.
Donna's starting to pull ahead.
Donna Kong, full name.
Donna Kong.
Dona Kong.
So sorry.
So sorry.
I got to make a show here.
Father, please, you're making a mistake with Bowser Jr.
You must accept me.
This is seven.
Holy shit.
Webphones 19?
Yeah, I rolled an 18.
I'm just going to, I'm going to save this out loud.
No, please.
Yeah, you roll the D20.
So yeah, I rolled a D20.
I have an 11 in speed now, so that's plus 1.
So that's 19.
And you get to add to your speed set.
You're getting it.
Absolutely.
It is interesting the way that you get conservative, the higher the stat, like the closer the
the stat gets to the next boost.
Yeah, yeah.
When I was like 28, I was like.
Yeah, I got my speed up to 30.
Now I got a plus 3.
Why would I not?
I have a chance to get to 3.
I got a 22 right now.
I can afford to be wild.
All right.
So final coin totals, Murph, 10 coins, trap 5, Caldwell 4 and Emily 11.
Okay.
And you all get that.
Can go ahead and add that to your coin totals?
Totally freaks out again in a way where you understand.
why they fired him.
Yes.
Fucking yes.
Jonathan pulls out a locket with Windio Cupa's face in it and says,
Father, please, allow me to marry her.
I know that you can not approve.
Isn't that your sister?
Distantly.
Very, very Game of Thrones.
So, at the end of each game, just show me your coin total.
Yeah, yeah.
All right, let's go turn three.
Merv, go ahead and roll D-10.
I realize I've made a huge miscalculation.
I thought I could just start grinding my stats once I got to 20 coins,
because then I can afford the star, but I think I haven't passed the bank yet.
If you roll low, though, you'll have a chance.
Yeah, that's true.
Okay, please, roll low.
What did you get?
Five.
Okay, that's one, two.
You land on the bank?
Is that correct?
Oh, did I land on the bank?
You land on the bank.
You got 15 coins.
Yes, that's a bastard.
And maybe Kong, were you allowed this to happen?
35.
35.
I'm going to send my shark after him.
Ooh, okay. Trap, you're up next.
All righty.
Totally covetously hoards as well.
Three spaces.
Three?
Is that so cool?
Is that a Bowser space?
Is that the Adompson move?
Okay, let's see what Bowser is.
Oh, no.
You got Bowser?
Yes.
All the wet bones.
Wet bones.
Oh, geez.
Wet bones I'm rooting for.
I'm like, wet bones.
I know.
Okay.
Oh, and my packed lunch spilled all over my bag.
Ah, wet bones.
All right.
So you get.
Oh, fuck.
How many points you have?
But coins?
Yeah.
I got 17.
Well, 30 coins for me, so you lose all your coins.
My lunch money.
I'm so sorry.
I needed that after my lunch spilled.
Listen, this is going to be the comeback story.
This is honestly, I think like the story that this is telling of a true winner.
I will say real talk.
I've seen some crazy turnaround.
Yeah.
This is early.
Only round three.
Jonathan rushes over to Bowser and says,
I found a suitable wife for you.
Go away with you.
You are banished.
All right.
Father, please.
Fake Bowser.
He leads your troops to destruction.
I'm loudly complaining into my Bluetooth.
She would bring you beautiful eggs, sir.
All right, call them whenever you're ready.
Beautiful eggs.
Please.
Five.
Okay.
So I'm back at the beginning space.
Yeah, so that's going to be three coins for you on space five.
And then Emily, or Donna Kong, whenever you're ready.
You, I will try to remember, it's important to pair of it.
It's definitely Donna Kong.
That's four for Donna.
Four?
Okay.
So that's going to be one.
All right, so you are, there is a thwomp there.
Go ahead and put this dice on that thwomp space over there.
I put it out of one.
She's unthwvable.
So I put the dice on there.
Yeah, the dice is a thwomp that comes up.
You can, you have the option.
If you have three more spaces, right?
Yeah.
You can either go move down or you can pay a coin and move that way.
He's like a sort of toll gate.
How it works is that each time you pay, his fee goes up plus one, whatever you paid.
I think that if I have three more spots,
I'm looking at either moving on to a blue
or, but I would pass the treasure?
Let's see.
By my count, you're going to land on the question mark
on the bridge.
How do I feel about a question mark?
Well, remember one of the bonus stars at the end
is whoever lands on the most question marks
during the game gets used.
I go for the question mark.
All right.
I love problem solving.
So you're going to get blasts back to start.
What?
Whoa.
A cannon ball shoots out.
Blasts you back.
Well, I also love getting blasted.
My lady.
And I've still never known a woman.
I guess none of us have.
I've known too many.
All right, by my, my board here.
And if I ever make a mistake on the board, let me know.
Yeah, you got it.
But it looks like Murph and Emily are both green.
So I'm going to see, Murph, you're going to be blue.
And Emily is going to be blue.
So it's everyone against wet bones, I believe.
Oh, no.
Sometimes life just doesn't go your way.
Silence, Cooper.
You say that all the time.
Well, it happens a lot.
Stay away from my coins.
Webstones, Barrelworks Factory has a lot of a charity initiative.
I'm allergic to staves.
So our mini game is going to be thwomple.
Okay, here.
This is one where you're going to need your phones.
Okay.
So.
My strength is fine.
So you have, basically, you're on these sleds, okay?
And they're a trap.
You've got three thwomps in front of me.
I'm just giving you the painting of the picture.
Okay.
Yeah, yeah.
And they have A, B, and Z on them.
The other three players, you have either an A, a B, or a Z.
Murph, you can be A.
Great.
Paul, you're going to be B.
Beautiful.
And you're going to be Z in there.
Okay.
How it's going to work is I'm just going to say a letter and write it first.
If you write it first, so you're just controlling all three.
You get to move forward to space.
You guys, it has to be your letter.
Got you.
And if one of you fucks up and places your letter when I didn't say that letter,
then it's a disqualification for that.
round. Okay. And we do it in the phone.
And we're doing it in the discourse. So you're just
in charge of Z. All you got to do is when I say
Z, put a Z in. You're going to
put B, you're A. And I'm going to fuck this up so bad. And I could, I had to
put it. You just have to listen to whatever I say. I'm so ready.
And it's the first to get to
five spaces first wins. Okay. Okay. So we're pulling
thwamps. You're pulling, or thwamps are pulling you.
You're kind of like, yeah. Oh, I got you. Okay. Okay.
All right. Everybody ready. Yeah. So my father's prize
Fwamps. Z.
Okay.
Okay, M's got the Z.
All right. Z for M.
That's one.
Next.
B.
Oh, trap.
Oh, no.
Oh, no.
Oh, God.
That's a close one.
All right.
Two for the trio.
Okay.
A.
Trap.
Oh, got it.
Good job.
Okay.
Okay.
Wet bones, quick fingers.
Okay.
Next.
B.
Oh, I don't have it.
Trap.
And I will say also typos mean it doesn't, it disqualifies.
Oh, wow.
Well, we already lost that anyway.
I legit have like kind of shaky fingers.
Like, how are you?
I don't know if it's just like the tension or if it's coffee.
Is it good shake?
It's good shaky.
It's like, oh, in the real mini game, it is like, oh, fuck, if I mess up, I press the wrong button.
It's two to two.
All right.
Z.
Oh.
So good.
So quick.
I'm used to cut throat competition.
All right.
Three to two, trio.
Come on.
Hey.
Oh.
Oh, okay.
Under the wire.
So trio, you do have one chance or the chance you to take it.
It's 42.
Z.
Oh, wow, that was so close.
All right.
I am got it.
So one thing I am going to consider is that in, I believe in the actual mini game,
if you fuck up, you kind of lose like a turn.
I forget, I'll look into it.
Oh, I'll look into it.
Oh, call those.
PEO could set us back.
Wow.
So I will make a note, and I might patch that one.
But I have seen some pretty close ones.
Yeah, yeah.
And you did pretty good.
All right.
So it's going to be 10 for everyone except for webbones.
Hey, sometimes life and then go your way.
Wet bones, seriously, come work for my barrel factory.
I'll give you, I don't know, Zyrtec.
What will help you with a stave allergy?
The experience is the real treasure.
Who knew typing could be so much fun?
I did.
So, let's go back to the start of the turn, Murph, whenever you're right.
D-10, we're hoping for a star this turn.
Nine.
Okay.
So you go on the star.
You want to buy it?
I buy it.
I buy it.
That's our first star of the game.
Let me give you one of these little star bits.
Oh, wow.
Oh, the drugs.
I pass this drug over.
Okay, put it under your tongue.
Yeah.
And then have them in front of you so everyone can see how many stars you have.
So now is this star gone?
That star is going to move now.
That star is mine by right.
So I've got nine movement for you.
Before I do that, I'm going to roll and see where.
So the baby Bowser is going to move to that space now.
Whoa.
Despicable.
Yeah, you're not going to lose anything.
But that's where it is now.
Yeah.
So it moves to the space right after the bank.
All right.
Okay.
And then the star is going to move to.
Oh, interesting.
It's going to go back kind of where Emily was originally, space 30 on the bridge.
East Bridge.
Ooh.
in the thwomplands.
Wow.
Okay, so the start's pretty far away from all of us now
because a lot of us have gotten
bad, or low rolls,
and a lot of us have gotten blasted back.
Okay.
So,
Lady Kong, let me a barrel,
so that's going to be,
one, two, three, four.
You have five more movement.
You're on the item show.
You want to buy anything?
Ooh, yeah.
Oh, my God.
Okay, I have to be careful
about these people freaking plundering me.
So I'm going to buy the boo repellent
for 10 coins blocks
Blocks boo from stealing from you once.
Yes.
Okay.
I don't trust these guys, right?
They're after my immense wealth.
The most paranoid chill guy.
This is why he got fired.
Well, we did have a running joke of Funky Kong being like a libertarian.
So boo repellent can just be used automatically.
It's not something to declare it.
It's just if someone uses a boo on you, it'll be used up.
Great.
So remember that if you target him with a boo, it will be wasted.
All right.
And you have three more movement when you go up to the-
the door. You don't have a skeleton key? So you're going to go onto the bridge,
land on the question mark. Oh no. That's going to blast you back to start. All right. I go back
to the start. Shit. Okay. Let's do a trap. You're next.
Can you put me back at the beginning? We're always getting blasted. Why did you go back? So he
landed on the question mark. Does the question mark always blast?
In this map? On the bridges. Actually yes. In this map, they all just blast you back. Okay.
Because we're on like a pirate map. Yeah, this is the first map in Mario Party 2. What did you roll?
I got a two. Okay. So you don't have any coins.
I don't have any coins, so there's no point going to the item shop.
So you're going to go up to space 15 and get three coins.
Nice.
Yeah.
Okay.
Wow, it's my lucky day.
Arguably.
All right.
Jonathan is going to pull out his Bowser phone, which is covered in spikes, and looks like a big turtle shell.
Yeah.
And he says, Father, the toads, they rise against us.
I've seen it.
You must act now.
Please destroy Toadley.
There's a reason he was fired.
No!
I'm holding out of the star so hard.
the star so hard.
So Bowser goes to totally.
Fuck.
And we're going to see what you get.
No.
That's going to be, ooh.
I better not take my fucking star.
No.
So you go down to zero.
Caldwell, I'm mad at you in real life.
That's the game.
That's a party party works.
All right.
I'm in freaking zero coins.
Sometimes when I'm sad.
I sing.
All right.
So that was Caldwell's item.
Father, may I marry windy now.
I go and roll.
That's two.
Okay, you're going to move up three spaces, get three coins.
Jonathan shells are fucking freaks.
All right, Donna Kong, whenever you're ready.
If I were to use my cellular shopper, could I buy an item and use it?
You can't use it the same turn.
Okay.
You'd be able to use it next time.
Okay, okay.
I'm hopping on my Bluetooth.
Is that what they're called, the headphone?
Yeah, yeah.
I'm hopping on my blue banana tooth.
I'm hopping on my blue banana tooth.
It's a banana headset that tucks around my bun.
And I'm going to use my cellular shopper to buy the Bowser suit.
Oh, okay.
That at some point I can steal 20 coins from whoever I pass.
So how it works is, yeah, when you put it on and you do a roll, every player you pass, you steal 20 coins.
Wow.
She's coming for you totally.
No.
What can I say?
I love fashion.
And just to clarify there, that's, please.
is you pass, like on their turn, if they pass her.
So she puts it on and rolls.
Wow.
Every character she passes will give her.
So she would do it when she's bunched up on the board.
Exactly.
If you're right behind someone, that would be the time.
But it's safe for other characters to pass her.
Yeah, yeah.
But since I can't use it on the same turn, I'm just buying it for someday when the face is a line.
So you wait until people are in front of you.
Yeah.
All right.
Roll a day 10.
For a gala.
What did you get?
Three.
Okay.
That's she's going to be three coins for you on space three.
I'll take it.
The star is so far away.
Yeah.
It's like all the way across the ocean.
And then Murph got blasted, right?
Yeah.
Okay.
Not those drugs.
Those star drugs.
So that's going to be a green for you.
I'm going to see what color you are.
You are red.
So it's going to be everybody against Murph.
Everybody's always against me.
Let's blast him.
Okay.
You are a traitor.
All right.
The mini game is this one's just called Look Away.
Oh.
So in Mario Party, it's this thing.
I only know how to lean in.
Where you go, da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da.
Oh, yeah.
So you can do left, up, right, down, or stay forward.
Okay.
Okay.
You are trying to match the others.
So I'm going to do the song each time.
So I'm going to do that-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da---done.
All of you have to pick up, up, right, over, forward.
With our physical body.
With your physical body.
And at the same time, Murp will do it.
And if he gets...
If he matches any of you, you're out.
Okay.
Oh, you have five chances to get them all out.
Got you.
Okay.
Should we close our eyes?
All right.
Well, you're doing it simultaneously.
It won't matter.
All right, okay.
All right, I'm ready.
Dada, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da da da da da.
Oh, okay.
So that means Caldwell and Murf both did right.
So Caldwell is out.
Okay.
And then it looks like trapped it down.
What did you do?
I did up.
Okay.
So now you just got to go.
for these two.
Okay.
Round two.
I'm locked in.
Enjoy your revenge now.
Do da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-ta.
Oh, okay.
So, trap is out.
Okay, so now it's just these two.
We both did up.
Okay.
So that's just me and M.
Okay.
Wait, so how do I win?
Don't match it.
Don't do a Merck story.
Do a rock this time.
Okay.
And close your eyes this time.
Okay.
All right.
Everyone close your eyes.
Oh, my God.
Dun, dun, tan, da-dan-dan-dan-dan-dan-dan-dan-dan-dan-tun-tun.
Did they both do left?
No.
Wow.
That's going to be 10 points.
The marriage ESP, it came through.
Oh, my marriage.
Congratulations.
Okay.
You also ever see something like, I can realize, like, I'm an idiot.
Because it was like, they look different directions.
Like, now they're on different sides of the table.
All right.
Why are things misspelled on my mirror shirt?
Let me see everybody's coin totals.
I'm at 10 because I got freaking robbed.
No.
Friken Rob, do you have a star?
I don't feel bad for you.
I feel bad for wet bones.
Wet bones, I want to give you a job.
I have three coins.
And I feel, you know, there's people in this life that have less than me.
Shut the fuck!
Wet bones, do you know how to cook exotic fish?
One time I ate a fish and I got a bone stuck in my throat.
Murph, whenever you're ready.
Okay, let's go.
Got to get a cross.
Oh, no, I got a two.
Two?
Okay.
So I'm...
That's going to be...
Minus three coins.
Right behind Donna?
Yes.
But you're safe from her back.
Donna Kong.
Donna Kong, please.
Even my friends don't call me Donna.
They call me Donna Ka Kong.
What is that?
Five?
Five?
Okay.
One, two, that's a question mark, I believe.
So you're going to get blasted back at the start.
Every question mark blast you or is it?
If you're on the pirate map, it all blasts.
But question marks are good.
When you do different maps, the question marks do different things.
Yeah.
Blasted so many times.
and yet never laid with a woman.
Whoa!
Cont ball whenever you're ready.
All right, great.
This baby Bowser's in a bad spot
because it's essentially a ten coin toll
every time you pass this.
Oh, I have words for baby Bowser.
Also, Lord Shell, when you lay with a woman,
you do the blasting.
I have much to learn.
Teach me.
Take me as your squire.
Nine.
Oh, nine.
Okay.
Okay, so you're going to put five coins into the bank.
All righty.
And then you're going to five coins from baby.
You get robbed by the good.
government.
I'm at 18 now.
I lost five to the bank and five from my baby brother.
And you have eight more.
So you have eight more spaces for item shop.
You're going to buy anything?
Ooh, I have 18 coins.
I can buy something.
Yeah, let me see here.
You have four movement left after this.
I push down baby Bowser and everyone looks really shocked because I push really hard and he's
just a kid.
Whoa.
You're not fit to rule.
I scream as I run away towards the item shop.
I'm going to do the dueling glove.
Okay.
So go ahead and spend the coins, and then you can do it in a future turn.
Great.
And then you're going to move four, so you're going to move up to space.
Looks like 17.
Mistake at the warehouse.
We have too many mushrooms.
We got to move them all.
All right.
And then Donna Kong, whenever you're ready.
Okay.
Come on, Donna Kong.
I even call myself, Donica.
Oh, no, I landed on the little bowser.
It was six.
Okay, one, two, three, four.
Do not befriend him.
So five coins into the bank.
And then five more coins to Bid Bouser.
I'm destitute.
And then you'll get three coins back on the space after him.
Just the bully zone over here with the bank and Bady Bows.
Okay, Donna Kong is reaching out to all her high-powered connections being like, I need a loan.
I need some VC staff.
She's not liquid right now.
So Trap got blasted back.
So let's see what color you are.
You are blue.
So it's going to be everybody against.
Oh, Murph again.
Oh, no.
Let's see what we get.
This one is called move to the music.
Okay.
Okay.
So how this one is going to work, it's kind of a memory game.
Uh-oh.
Where Murph, you're going to basically decide moves that they're going to have to try to copy.
Okay.
So you have seven options.
Okay.
Actually, you have eight options technically.
Okay.
A, B, Z, left, up, right, down, wild.
Okay?
Wild?
Wild.
Yeah.
Which means they can do anything, okay?
So what you're gonna do is you're gonna say out loud six moves and you guys can't write
this sound obviously.
Okay.
We can't?
You cannot.
You're gonna try to remember this.
Because in a random order, I'm gonna point at you and be like, you say the first one, you say the second.
Oh, that's awesome.
Okay.
Okay.
This is really bad for me.
I rely on a job.
agentic helpers for all my memory.
Ooh, well, good luck.
That's Donna Kong speaking, not Emily.
Fake Bowser ignored my lessons.
I'm very dumb.
And so if he says wild on like his fourth move,
you can say anything and you're right.
Oh, okay, cool.
It's just there to kind of like grip you up a little bit.
Sure.
Okay.
And we're like all on a dance party stage.
Yeah, they're all dancing.
So he's, it's basically like, see if you can copy his.
We're all at like a very fancy ball.
We're mingling together.
and I am going to be attempting to find a suitor.
All right, Murph, you're going to say this once.
Everybody listen.
Yep.
And you're going to, basically, if you get it wrong, you're out, there's two rounds of this.
The next one will be a little more complicated.
Oh, boy.
Okay.
Ready?
Everybody?
Yeah.
Okay.
Okay.
Z, B, left, up, A, down.
Okay.
All right.
First stop.
Trap.
Z.
Caldwell.
B.
Okay.
Trap.
Left.
Okay.
Trap again.
Up.
Okay.
Emily.
A.
Okay.
And trap.
Down.
Oh.
Okay.
Now you have one more chance.
This is seven prompts this time.
We're on the ballroom stage and I'm just whispering like just acidic words into Toadley's ear as we dance.
I feel like one of my interns dancing at one of my socials that they're obliged to come to.
There's absolutely no food here.
It's an empty warehouse.
Yeah, we have snacks.
Eat the snacks.
This is a banana peel.
I'm ready.
All right.
Okay.
Z, up.
A.
B.
Left.
B.
Left.
Okay.
Caldwell.
Z.
Okay.
Called well.
B.
Oh.
Yes.
Out.
Okay.
Next.
Emily.
B.
Out.
Yes.
Next.
Everybody, that made me feel.
So much better.
Traff, can you do the last four?
Uh, yeah.
Z up, A, B, left, B, left.
Whoa.
Oh, congratulations.
You're a star.
So that's going to be 10 coins for everyone except MIRF.
Damn, brains are different, huh?
Damn it.
What, I benefit from wet bones expertise.
All right.
And on a wet bones W, let's go ahead and end this part one.
Okay.
Mario Party Tabletop.
So we've done.
Five rounds, we're going to do 12 total.
Yeah, because...
We're playing pro mode.
