So last episode, the Trinaville triplets, aka Jens, the Elven Sword Dancer, NIAC, his shirtless half-elf, half-brother ranger, and Onyx, a social media warlock from the moon, boarded an interdimensional jet blue flight

and made their way to the fishing village of Moonstone in the world of Bohumia. Upon arrival, you all opted to wait in the plane and order to finish death on the Nile. That would be a movie you would literally start at five minutes before landing. Unfortunately, your viewing was interrupted by a group of barbarians called the Cracktooth Clan, who began hassling the flight crew and playing Keepaway with your luggage. And so you strapped a seatback viewing screen to your robot friend Keychains head and proceeded into the village. After meeting the barbarians, you agreed to purchase them a drink and headed into the tavern.

Once inside, you met Mishka, the half-orc bartender, as well as Denny, a scout master who revealed he had lost a group of scouts known as green teens in nearby Moonstone Swamp. You all agreed to rescue the green teens for a simple price of $1 million. And started to make your way to the bay. However, before you could, Niac slipped and spilled a fish-orgill margarita all over a big barbarian named Krak. A fight quickly broke out and was just as quickly finished. After mopping up the bodies, Mishka informed you that the rest of the barbarians were staying

at the mayor's old residence at the other end of the town. Realizing that a mansion sounds much better than a single room and a grungy tavern, you decided to take out all the barbarians and make it into your prime destination, swamp B and B. Yes. Wow. But first, you made a stop at the juridic temple in town. While there, Shay, the leader of the Druid Circle, and also the head of the newly formed Shanky Candle Corporation.

Speaking of sheep, she flees us. Yeah it is. More like Shanky Candle. She's leaking her sheep. She flused us. Yeah it is. More like shamkey candle. Is it a fleasing if you enjoy it? Can you wrap it up and warm? So she sold you 500,000 gold worth of candles. She also gave you a short history lesson

You all then left the temple and eventually arrived at a small dock where a half-orc shaman set meditating. You quickly murdered the shaman and tossed its body into the bay.

Veeds a trident. Oh no, of Trident. On the other side of the Trident. As you did, you always blood get drawn towards the Trident in the center. And for a moment, the world flashed grey and you heard a strange warbling static noise. You filed this away and then proceeded onward to the mayor's manner. Onyx disguised you all as sexy maids and you made your way into the barbarian. I said cute.

Sorry, cute maids. If we're way into the barberry. I said cute. Sorry, cute. Where's cute? If we're sexy, that's on you. I was picturing sexy apologies. Everyone let it be known that the record show they were cute. Cute, but it can be subjectively sexy. I was adorable. Yeah, I was a tweed mid. Whatever cute is to you, that's what they were.

So as cute maids, you made your way into the barbarians hide out. We're Jens decided to rush in and draw aggro by instantly killing the barbarians. The leader, Gresh. Nye acted finish the job by bravely firing flaming arrows at the remaining barbarians. We're hanging on a dead end. You're under sandalier, very stuck and very scared. Not all heroes wear shirts. With the barbarians taking care of you raided the manor and found the mayor's stash of

gold as well as a horse whistle that summoned a horse named Bojangles who hit it off with Onyx's pet moonicorn obsidian. Can we get a little obsidian, please? Maaam. Ha ha ha ha. Oh. God, I was so tempted to do unicorn sex noises and I resisted everybody. That's class right there. After that, you decided to feed the barbarians corpses to the Triton. It stuck them into the water and once again the world flickered gray and you heard a strange static noise. Just then, shame in Pieter, shut up with your candles. Shame mention that mother Fissel might not be happy

about you feeding blood to her trident, but when pressed about Fissel's whereabouts she got a little cagey and said that you couldn't see her because she was resting. You three really didn't mind though because you were too focused on forming a cult around worship of the trident or an onyx's case claiming it for her own. You vowed to feed it more bodies, and then at long last, major way across the bay, in the mayor's speedboat, in order to save the green teens, and claim the second half of your reward. However, as you major way across the water, you witnessed a strange sight.

The color drained from the world once more, and the air filled with static as a hunched, ghostly woman holding a trident appeared on the water She whispered something and then shook her head at you then vanished. You then heard a strange monotone voice say Anomaly detected Investigation required. Thank you and have a regular day. I really got to steal that regular day. Start using that line on like a check up people at the grocery store. Just make them raise their eyebrow level.

Thank you so much. Have a regular day. And that is where we are now. Onyx, you were pondering your new catch phrase. And you were floating in the center of this bay. Onyx, you and NIAC are in the mayor's speedboat. Jens, I believe you drink a water walking potion. Yes, I'm walking with a water walking potion on the water.

And I also have a bird mask on. Oh, yeah. Because I'm a full cultist to try it now. I guess I look at my allies here. What do you guys think that was? Does this try to hunger for more blood? Was the anomaly that there's not enough blood? Can I do like an arcana check? Yeah, absolutely. I have blood zero. Can I use my dagger to slice my hand and put blood into the bay?

Yes, you can do that. Onyx, what did you get? 15. Okay. With a 15, and I'll say this happens at the same time as NIAC drips a little more blood into the bay. Ow, I'm a little concerned. Ow, oh my god. It's just a little paper cut. NIAC, I need more.

I need more. If I'm going to get a good idea of what's going on. Yeah, that's not enough. We have 10 bodies. Just give that a little more. Go ahead and roll with advantage because of all the blood. Nice, bleeding. Niac, you're going to take 16.

16. Yeah, baby. There we go. What up? Niac gives you a bloody thumbs up. Niac, why don't you go ahead and take a D6 of leading damage? Yeah, paper cut damage. It's 4 HP.

Okay. 4. Wow. And on X. Yeah, with a 16 cut damage, it's 4 HP. 4, wow. And on X, yeah, with a 16, you look at the water, you see that the trident, which you can't really see, you can kind of see the faint outline of it, because it's down at the bottom of this bay. But you can see this glow, which started off as this purple glow, kind of the same color as the flowers that you see around on the roofs and just like on the shore of moonstone, but it's kind of like grown into this like blood red color. It's like pulsing now. It's kind of like

this is like that building in New York City is that you can change the color from an app on your phone. from an app on your phone. And an app on your phone? I don't know what you're referring to, but that sounds right. Did you go to New York without me? Just five times. Shit. All right, well, clearly the Trident Hunters.

And we do need to get the rest of our one million dollars. So why don't we go kill some of these bully wugs and feed them to the bay? Absolutely. I mean, if we are trying to fight some people, they can just go into the bay. Perfect. Onex, I will say, our Kona 16 is pretty decent.

So I'll say that you get the sense that like, there's definitely a connection between this like warbling static and this color draining and the fact that this trident is pulsing red. But you sense that they might be two separate problems that are somehow becoming interwined, if that makes sense. Okay, my eyes lie that was understanding. And I say, it's two separate problems.

Well, the trident's not a problem. The trident is always right. We're trying to hunkers and we feed the trident. Yeah, two problems can have one solution. Yes, it's called killing two birds with one arrow, I think. Look, we're really, we're old. Like you did in some manner. We're overthinking this.

We need another 500,000 gold for candles. We just got to get these damn kids back. Okay, so where's that, I get the sense that the woman and like the voice that said, like have a regular day might be too separate. Yes, you get the sense that they're intertwined, but it seems almost as if like, one is not directly related to the other.

Okay. But it seems like they are very quickly becoming related. Okay, we've got factions. Alright. Also, Onyx, as you are starting up the speedboat again and heading towards the other side of the bay, you hear a slight whisper. Hello? Return for me. It's... Return for me.

Is that you tried to... Lay me! You're asking me to claim you? You don't have to feel your health in my grand. I hunger. You seem like you know your way around some cursed shit. I happen to be really powerful with cursed weapons. You want me as much as I want you?

More blood! Okay, I look at Jens and I'm like, yeah, is it tried in on girls? Let's feed the tried in. Let's feed the tried in. Has equal champions of the tried in. Onyx's palms sweat with the desire for another person's cursing. Can't help yourself. So yeah, you hear this voice kind of like trickling

in the back of your mind, it fades out. Oh, I'm blind, oh, I'm blind. As you get further away from the trident and make your way to the other side of the bay. Once you're there, you see that there's a slight small opening in the swamp, there's this abandoned, dilapidated dock, the wood is soaked through with water damage. You see it's covered in like spots of green moss and fungi. You also see a few jagged planks sticking out across the

walkway. It seems like at one point maybe people came and went from both sides of the bay a little more frequently but it's fallen into disrepair. This dock master has no respect for their dock. This is what we're paying taxes for, the swampy and bee. Yeah, you know that there's going to be comments being like, is the swampy and bee was great except for a dog? And that's on them. Yeah, they should really be repairing their dog. A service fee, a cleaning fee.

I mean, does any of it go to the dog? I would hope. On the way back, the listing. If it's a dog access, I'm talking a stomach. Again, you didn't book it though, it was the problem, Niaq. Well, you see now why I didn't, brother. Why would I yell that's why you didn't do it? Yes, why you didn't do it?

I saved you the cash. I rolled my ankle on the broken doc. Oh! What's doing? What's doing, man? What's going on? Quick, put your ankle in the water, feed it to the Trident. Oh, feed the spray. Feed the spray.

All right, why don't we look around, Niac? What did you do some of your ranger stuff and see if you can find where the bully wigs took the kids? Yes, why don't you, as you're inspecting this deck, see what the damage is, how much is going to cost to repair? Why doesn't everybody give me a investigation check? Seven. Seventeen!

There we go. I have no clue why, but I have proficiency in investigation. I think your backstory was you were a geologist. I have javascript. We used to be a little geologist. I have a CY. Now I act unionics, a snooper on a little bit. You do see like a little like cabin off to the side that's got a little sign that says dock master on it and you clearly see just a skeleton hanging out of it. So whoever was in charge of the doc has long since retired. They didn't even clean up after Halloween. God, it's a month out of season. I mean, come on.

This is tacky. God, it's like leaving your Christmas tree up. You kind of gaze deeper into the swamp, but you can't really see much because there's these thick, mangrove trees and weeping willows hanging down. All you can see is this faint shape of a tower in the distance, but everything else is fairly obscured.

Okay, is that looks like it could be our swampian? Right? Yes, we are collecting matches. Is there a balcony on the tower? Kimea Perception Check. It's pretty far away. Gorgeous. It's an 18.

18. You can't quite see a balcony, but you do see some spires. You see some tall towers. This, I hope it's flipped inside. Oh my God, that place probably has swamp views. I bet that this flipped inside. Oh my God, that place probably has swamp views. I bet that's a sunset view. Oh.

So you're all gazing longingly at this keep in the distance, but eventually you kind of shake yourself from your reverie and do notice directly on the ground beneath you is a broken spear, a long sword stuck in the mud, and a mud smear that seems to suggest that somebody was dragged deeper into the swamp. Okay, I mean, it seems like something to follow.

Yeah, but let's get rid of this trash first. I throw the long sword into the bay. Yeah, I saw the skeleton. Yeah, that's not blood, but it's bones. Feed my lover. Eat, eat, eat. You love the store, aren't you? You love the store, aren't you?

Clearly see, the moonlight catches it, you see. Two Irland love Nana written on it. Ah, so we wrote on this. We can't even get scrap metal from it. It's talking to the water. I guess we are looking for someone named Nana. Yeah. I started shouting named Nana. Yeah. I started shouting Nana. Nana. Yeah, we're really loud as I just marched through the woods. So you

want to proceed into the swamp now? Yes. Yeah. Carelessly. Smarching and yelling for Nana Nana Kid but okay Nana Nana everyone give me a Nana check please Perception preferably That's a net one I'm 18 18 said a perception yeah, it's a 23 per night act. 23, awesome. So, Onyx, you are just desperately searching for Nana. In fact, you were like so desperate in your hunt

for whoever this Nana is. You almost bump in to two bully wugs. They're these like slimy, warped, covered like frog men with like small, like leathery loincloths and spears. They're kind of like on the hunt. It almost looks like they're like a scouting party. You're about to bump into them as you scream,

but Jen's an actor able to pull you aside and you hide in some bushes and you're able to survey the scene of these two bully wugs scouts. Do you think these are the kids? Nana? Okay, they're going to attack. Who is screaming Nana the loudest? Be honest. Probably Onyx. Yeah, yeah, that makes sense. Yeah, I also got the Nat one on the Perseptice. So that makes sense. Cool, that'll check out.

So they're both going to try and stab at you. Here we go. First bully wugs. Hit two Nana. No, why are you doing this? 18 hit? Yes, it does. Okay, so the Bollywag lunges forward with its spear

and hits you for four damage. And then I did that with my dagger to my own hand. Yeah. They are giving me paper cuts. And then 12 is gonna miss you. You see, once it's plunged, it's spear and it tries to bite you with its big beautiful teeth.

Oh, Jen's bomb is. Oh, why are you frugging, frogs of teeth? Who is Nerna? Who is Nerna? We don't know you. Who is your dentist? It's some kind of existential thing. You know what I thought you would add up. This is a whole thing. Are you the Doc Master? It's just some kind of existential thing, you know, I thought you were Nana.

Keep your cool, slash into it, and then manage to cleave fully into the second one. These two bully woke scouts collapse at your feet. All right. That's what you get for letting your dock fall into disrepair. Yeah. We'll kill you if you don't fix the dock. It's been an art to do list.

I pick up their cursed faces, and I wonder, do you want to feed this to the trident? I think the trident hunters for all. Okay, indisturbingedly. Okay. So, yes. I want to like throw them like a quarterback. It's spiraling in the sky, it's land in the bay. I feel like the trident's bloodlust is really impressive.

It has nothing to do with us. We're only killing for the triton, you know? It's not our bloodlust, it's triton. Onyx, you hear the triton starts singing in your head a little bit. Yeah, is that you? OK. What are you grooving to? How much was it? Why are you grooving to?

All right. Let's keep going. It's save the forest. I step over the entrails of the boy. As you step over them, you do notice that one of them was carrying a couple of burlap sacks as well. I don't have much else on them, but it seems like maybe you can infer that they were looking for stragglers or anyone else that they could have done. I'm curious to go see is there stuff? Sure. Yeah, in the burlap sack. Does the Trident hunger for burlap? We'll find out. A quarter back.

Okay, this is just becoming littering. We're no better than the Doc Master. You see that you put the burlap sack into the water after a minute to get spit out, and it's just full of fish now. Whoa. Okay, it's for fishing. She feeds us. I kill a fish with a rock.

Sushi. You don't find much else on these bully wugs other than like, you know, beautiful sets of pearly whites, teeth, some spears. Yeah. That's about it. Okay, can I disguise self? Do you have some beautiful teeth like them? Yes.

Did you get any ears? Yes. Oh, look, shit. You don't like that. I've been wanting those. Jen, this looks way better than your adult braces. What? Just wait until they come off though.

Yeah. Jen says greater of his align. Yeah. You're not supposed to be able to see though. Onyx are your bullywag teeth size accurate? Yeah. Okay, so I'm a wizard. Too big, yeah.

Incredible. So you just got like an oversized mouth of beautiful pearly white teeth. Okay, so this is right. I'm ready to go far. Jens is so jealous of your huge beautiful teeth. It keeps smiling at you. I keep looking away, avoiding your gaze. Come, the Trident Hunters. So you travel deeper into the muck, pushing hanging leaves out of your face.

You're following the tracks left by the bully wugs that you just murdered. Immersulously. Suddenly things get a bit more difficult. You see that these two bully wugs join up with a larger group of bully wugs, and it seems like they're all walking in a straight line for a bit. Then the path diverges. And here is what you see. To your left, you see a deep puddle, followed by this huge six foot wall of mud with tangled

roots of a mangrove tree hanging out of it. You can see broken roots and little froggy footprints where some bully wugs clearly tried to climb up. in the swamp, kind of like two mud roads meeting. You kind of sneak up behind some brush and you see about eight cobalts and eight bully wugs. These cobalts are these little like tiny lizard men holding like swords and bows and whatnot. And then these bully wugs are these like big frog men. You see they're all meeting in the middle, they're holding torches.

You see two who appear to be the leaders are standing in the center. There seems to be kind of like a conversation and exchange happening. You see this head bully wug. He's a little bigger than the others. He's got this crown of mismatched jewels and twigs. And then a head cobalt wearing a hooded cloak.

And then even under the cloak, you can tell he's a little like bigger and beefier than the others. And you see they're kind of like discussing something and then suddenly a couple of the cobalt's bring a big box of weapons over to the bully wugs. You see it's like swords and shields and things that they normally wouldn't be able to get in a swamp. And then you see the bully wugs in turn hand over three wriggling burlap sacks to the cobalts. And then after the exchanges happen, they kind of have some final passing remarks and then they each head off in separate directions. The cobalts head north and you look up and you see that they're headed towards the direction of that tower you saw earlier, that keep, and the

Bullywugs had west in the direction of some torchlight. They're still pretty close to each other. If you want to act now, or you can just watch them go, just let me know what you want to do.
