And more importantly, home to Vantasmo and son, private investigation, helmed by Frankie Vantasmoth, the mastermind.

His son, Penndark Vantasmoth, the director. Pleased to meet you, hello. And his grandson, Mavid Vantasmoth, the thief. Yeah, to be, Vantasmoth and son, and son, because otherwise, I'm the man. Who am I? You know, well, I've been trying to construct the S to add to the sign, but we're out of materials. Oh, sons would work, yeah. Last session, Frankie, Penny, and Mavid received a mysterious guest to their carriage house,

a C.L.F. dancer by the name of Genevieve Sapphire, who'd been receiving threatening letters. You agreed to help her? Some, because she reminded you of your late wife, Lynette, and others seduced by the shiny and ample Beaumont coinage that she got. Well, we could really afford a nest with all that cash. But on the way to investigate the cabaret, you are attacked by a sailance with two dot-tatt twos, who warned you to keep away from the girl. Frankie disguised his voice to sound like the powerful vampire Atticus Beaumont, only

to discover the combatants had not been sent by Atticus after all, and, in fact, rumor had spread. Genevieve had stolen something from Atticus. At the theater, Penny pealed off to investigate Genevieve's dressing room, but discovered her body, face down, already cold with death. Then, Frankie and maybe joined, Penny to take for clues. You discovered a few innocuous things, a business card for a beauty hag, a rhyming poem, scapped over vampire bites from the patron she'd fallen out with, some more nefarious, a ring with a stone pride from it, a vile of little death, a drug that, as Frankie experienced,

causes your life to flash before your eyes. And you also discovered that Genevieve's brain had been liquefied, her tongue, and ears dismembered, and she was ghoul marked. She had bartered her body to the ghouls in her death for some fast cash in life, at which point repo ghouls descended. And that's where we are now. Oh, it's pretty crowded here already, guys. Did you just wait outside until it done?

The stench of undead fills the room as three repo ghouls appear. Dark, stale blood stains their fingers and mouths. Their teeth are razor sharp, the better for crunching through cartilage and bone. Oh, geez. Buzz about them maggots hatching from the folds of their skin. Oh, okay. You gotta use shampoo for that. Let us finish up in here then you can have the body, alright?

No, they can't have the body. Two of them are smaller and wireier, but they stand behind a third who is tall, barrel-chested, whereas a necklace of crocodile teeth, a status symbol, but also a nod to a god of hunger who dwells in the swamps of shadow of the hall. Okay, Trudy's gonna love that, we're gonna kick his glasses. A larger one steps in front, right over the body and says you Gov it that which was not promised to you pampering with the property of the ghouls is not without consequence as you soon discover

See. You see, two of them are standing behind the bigger one. Blocking the window window but they have these long hideous rotting flesh arms that have reached so from behind the big guy I guess everyone will be a luck check to see who this guy goes after oh god one wow amazing I got it too I yeah, Frankie goes and walks out and puts his finger in the big guy's chest and goes, I don't agree with the ethics of your business. That's bad.

It's not right. Get your neck out, right? It's not right. It's all right. Alright, and somebody already melted her. Somebody already melted her goddamn brain. Get my grandfather that necklace so he can give it to me. We don't necessarily need the necklace.

We just need you guys to buzz off. The necklace is a little loud. I think we could do with like, everybody shut the fuck up about the necklace. The big guy looks at you as you put your finger in his barrel chest and says, keep that finger away from me, unless that I eat it. And behind him, one of the ghouls is going to spit

on his claws and swipe at you. That's it, you want this guy spit all over my finger before you eat it. That'd be fucking creep. That is a 22 to hit. Okay, I'm great. Okay, cool. Okay, that is going to be seven slashing damage and I need you to give me a constitution save.

Oh, gosh. Wolf, yeah. But he is still standing. That is now the engorged ghoul. He's gonna look down at you, Frankie. Ah, yeah. You see, on his teeth and his nails, the dried blood is more purplish and coagulated. And he's going to both bite and claw you.

This is disgraceful even for the undead. You take nine piercing damage. Gonna uncanny dodge and have that. Okay. And I need you to do a con safe again. Yikes. Okay, I'm rolling good. 17.

And I've been with my dad for long enough to know that this is how he helps He's not very good at showing like outward affection, but like throwing himself at a problem in a weird way I've just learned to pick up the cues. So kill the guy who's hurt pen Don't read into it too much Wow, I give all my ball bearing. Yes, you just, you got to see it everywhere. Yes, I remember them.

So I see him doing this, and I say, wow, he really does care. And then I'm going to pull out my multi-tool and flick out like a long short sword from it. OK. And I'm going to rush in and try and sneak attack. OK, great. Where are you going after the, the cool that that your son hit, or this big guy? You can, I would say like maneuvering the situation

because you can stay within five feet so no one gets opportunity attacks to get to. Would I be able to get to the ghoul on the other side? Or would that be opportunity attack? No, you kind of, you kind of also. Okay, cool, because I wanna flank with my son. Okay, yeah. Like you get the one on the left,

You poison two multiple times almost. It could be useful. It's actually not a bad instinct. Which one are you putting it in the mouth of? Yeah, let's do the big guy. OK. Also, I want to try to distract them from all of the damages inflicting upon the mother.

Great. So next up, would have been the first goal to turn, but he uses his turn to twitch in on death turns death. Thanks. So that is Frankie. Frankie, you've got this huge, engorged goal. Yeah, all right. Well, I've taken enough damage.
