Starting point is 00:00:00 The following podcast is a dear media production. Welcome back to the Not Skinny Bonafat podcast. I'm your host, Amanda Hirsch, and I still can't believe that I get to chat with some of my favorite stars from my very own podcast, where you'll feel like you're just talking shit with your best friends in your living room. So, Regina, you always wanted to be on the podcast. So excited. Here you go. Here are your five minutes. Guys. Please, like, be nice so I can be on every episode. You want to be on? No, do you joke or do you actually want to be on?
Starting point is 00:00:41 Well, you want to be Lala's Jess? No, where she is now. No, I want to be. She's no one to be found. No, I want to be. No, she probably had their own pot, actually. Yeah. No, seriously. Like, she's Ann, like, being in Super Bowl commercials next time. No, I want to, like, sometimes I feel like I want to say something that you're, like, missing.
Starting point is 00:00:57 And, like, the fans, since I'm so online. like, oh, you need to say this. And I want to be like, put me in. Wait, you want to be like in the booth, like Robin for Howard Stern? Do you know who Howard Stern is? I know who he is. I don't know, like, the lore. Gen Z.
Starting point is 00:01:14 Sorry. Gen Z, everybody. But yeah, that's what I want to do. Like when we did Tinks this podcast, like, you know. The guy that some people don't like the people that talk from the side. But what did you say when we did her pod? What I say? This is nice.
Starting point is 00:01:28 Because I think he was saying nice things. No, because he was like, like, y'all had a question and he was like, let me pull it up. Is she trying to get on your Jess and Ann? I don't like that. Guys, I just want everyone to know that I've literally been working for her for literally a year and a half. Is it a year and a half? Yeah. I'm like, what?
Starting point is 00:01:45 She's my queen. Yeah. She's the best. You guys, so I just want to say my episode with Tom Sandoval just went live. I am dying at some of the comments. Instagram hit a few. Let's look at the ones that Instagram had. Nobody asked for this.
Starting point is 00:02:00 Fucking gross, Amanda. What is wrong with you? Call me crazy, but why are we glorifying lying cheaters asking for a friend? No one laughed when he said women are notoriously better cheaters. And that's that on that. First of all, people did laugh at that. Yeah. Because that was a fucking iconic moment.
Starting point is 00:02:20 Yeah. But what do you think after having Sandoval? I think people need to relax. Like, seriously, I think the people that are commenting all those things are people that have never been on TikTok and, like, understand that everyone's so obsessed with him. Like, yes, guys, he did something crazy. Get over it. Two years ago. And, like, everyone does fucked up shit.
Starting point is 00:02:43 Like, it's literally not him. And, like, bravo fans are crazy and we know that. So, like, come on. Come on. And he's funny. And also, right. And also what I was saying to you is, like, I didn't bring him back from the dead. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:55 I wasn't like, remember that awful cheater? let's bring him back. I think he deserves a platform. It's like, no, he was put, this is his second time on a different reality TV show because he did special forces. Nobody cared.
Starting point is 00:03:10 Exactly. By the way, no one has ever cared. No one has ever cared. By the way, when has somebody gone on social forces and it changed their lives? Jojo, see what?
Starting point is 00:03:21 Denise Richards, like, boom, popped. Change her life in a bad way. I mean, I mean, I think it's more, I think if you do special forces, it's more for you. Yeah. Like, it's more for like... Obviously, you're not going to be like... They, like, eat roaches and like...
Starting point is 00:03:36 No, but I'm saying you're not getting famous from it. Yeah. Clips are not being, you know, I feel like it just doesn't do a lot for your image. Whereas we talk to Tom about how traitors fucking helped him. Yeah. Anyway, a lot of people are... I mean, I think at the end of the day, the people that are commenting this, like you said, aren't online. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:56 Because if you're online, you're seeing the articles upon articles. You're seeing the vulture article saying Tom made the season. You're seeing him like, you know, kind of everywhere. Yeah. So you guys, you just have to take things less seriously. That's, I think that's a problem. But it isn't your life. And I think that's the problem.
Starting point is 00:04:13 Like, seriously, like, I feel like if Jacks was on, like, he would be less, like, murdered. You know, like, less killed by the media. And he literally just said, like, the whole, like, cocaine thing. He cheated. So many times. Tom Short has cheated. All of them have cheated. I can't.
Starting point is 00:04:26 All of them. That's what somebody wrote. because now people are fighting in the comments. Somebody was like literally everybody on that show cheated. Wait, what was the craziest cheating? It was Jackson, Kristen, while Tom was sleeping.
Starting point is 00:04:38 Lala cheating with... Ariana. No, and James, like, James Kennedy, like, God, they're all fucking cheated. I don't... And I get it, guys, like, seriously, when it happened, it was shocking. Yes, it's shocking.
Starting point is 00:04:49 Yeah. But it's been two years. They're all over it. They're all friends. I mean, they're all not friends. I think it's more like they're all over it. They're all not friends.
Starting point is 00:04:58 friends. They all probably won't hang out with each other ever again. He said that. Wait, I love how we're talking about Tom, even though we're like, Kevin. No, but can I, can I just say the, his comment on my post for him? So nice meeting you. Not Skaam enough at. Thank you so much for having me. Sorry I wasn't firing on all cylinders
Starting point is 00:05:16 L.O.L. I rarely go out anymore. And after WWHL, Kyle and I were celebrating pretty late and I'm not in my 20s anymore. Ha ha. So he's apologizing for being hungover. My favorite thing Which I wouldn't know
Starting point is 00:05:30 Like if he was hung over or not Did we, or do we felt it? No, we talked about it. We talked about it with him But I'm saying like, if he wouldn't have told me I wouldn't have been like, oh, that guy's hungover. Do you get what I mean? I guess.
Starting point is 00:05:41 Because he has great skin. I mean, his skin was glowing. He's doing great guys. Seriously, he has great skin and like he doesn't have one eye bag So like... But it is kind of... I tried to ask him what he had done. Like, imagine he was like, lip, lip, flip.
Starting point is 00:05:54 But he went out with Kyle the night before, which, like, if we're all in this Bravo world lore, whatever you like to call it, like, I can't believe Amanda lived with Kyle the way he has all these years. And then now, he took it to the next level
Starting point is 00:06:11 with this fucking DJing. So he's even out more than he was before. And like the fact that Sandavals in town, like, who even knew they were friends? But it could be that Kyle's just the go-to guy of like, you're in New York? What a party? Well, they were...
Starting point is 00:06:25 I didn't even know. Let me just tell you guys this. I live here. for my whole life, I did not even know the places that he went to because they're so hardcore. You know, like, I go to restaurants. I don't go out, out. Wait, you knew them? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:39 No, she runs in every week. She's like, I saw Jassy from Summer House twice. Do not dare talk about Jaze from Summer House. No, no. My Jewish King. Oh, wait. Oh, wait. You'll wait.
Starting point is 00:06:51 Yeah. But you see people out. You saw Imroll like last week. Oh, my God, guys. I saw Imroll literally in Soho, like, walking. walking by himself like before is he hot he's tall i don't know he is tall he's tall like he's like he's like i mean he's taller than me so like oh okay you were looking up that's my consent but he was just like lost like in soho like outside of like zara and was like hiking and but it was like the
Starting point is 00:07:13 episode before he was on summer house but i obviously i know but yeah i saw jesse like multiple times we we have beef and i saw he was with kyle you have beef with jesse oh you want to bring it up though, like, if and when he comes on the pod. If and one. If and one. Yeah. Well, this was fun. Are we going to talk about the guests?
Starting point is 00:07:32 Yeah. Now we're going to intro the guest. Okay. This is what I do. So in lieu of the Traders finale and the Traders' craze that I'm now on with everybody, I will now watch all the seasons going forward. I'm into it. I'm obsessed.
Starting point is 00:07:45 I love that it's a game show. I love that people get to come on and just play and be themselves. And I feel like it gave space for so many faces. One of them being the hottest face. I would say, hot his face on the show. You're trying to think if there was anyone hotter? There wasn't. I mean, my hot take is that, like, I'm more obsessed with Zach.
Starting point is 00:08:04 Zach Ephron? Yeah. Okay, we're not going to talk about Zach when it's Dylan's episode. See, this is why you can't be on. No, but, like, you say he's hot. I think we always talk about this. I thought, yeah, yeah. And by the way, poll, I win.
Starting point is 00:08:15 I think they're here. But anyway, you guys, today's guest is none other than Dylan Ephron. He killed it on Traders. He won Traders. He's a haughty. with a body. He's unfortunately a haughty with a girlfriend. He is a big brother to like two siblings. He's so adorable on Instagram. Look him up. Even before Traders, he was doing really well on Instagram. He was yeah. Lots of brand partnerships. Lots of like great cinematic things.
Starting point is 00:08:42 Like he's just like he's very good at it. Yeah. Because like he's a content creator. He is also like a production. He was like in production assistant like. And he's still fucking adorable. I'm loving this moment for him. I'm loving him stepping out of his brother. shadow, even though I don't know that he was ever under it. Yeah. But we will find out in today's episode. So excited.
Starting point is 00:09:01 So excited. So excited, you guys. Dillan Ephron. I feel like you would love like a Williamsburg. Did you go to Brooklyn? You would love Brooklyn. Okay.
Starting point is 00:09:10 You know why? Wait. Maybe I have like down under Manhattan Dumbo? Dumbo is, it's a little touristy there, right? Did you take the picture under the thing? Yeah. You took the picture under the thing. Probably.
Starting point is 00:09:21 That's so touristy. So this is why I think you would like Williamsburg more. in Brooklyn, because it's like shorter buildings, vibe-ier. I'm down. Like, you would, I feel like maybe now that you're... Getting used to it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:35 And maybe you'll be coming back to New York. Like, stay in a different area every time. Yeah. I feel like it could be a vibe on you. I just realized how close New Jersey was. I thought New Jersey... Wait, you went to New Jersey? No, I was at the Empire Stable, and we looked over and saw it.
Starting point is 00:09:46 And I was like, holy shit, that's New Jersey? It is close. I thought you were going to say you, like, went to Dolores's house or something. Like, I had dinner there. I saw Bob Harper's house. Harper has a sick loft. Really? Yeah, it's like so Bob Harper.
Starting point is 00:09:58 It looks like a magazine, like straight out of Tom Brown magazine. It's really cool. Oh, my God. That is cool. You guys, if you haven't realized it's Dylan Ephron, he's here. He's everywhere. I am. You're everywhere right now, Mr.
Starting point is 00:10:12 Like, press, pack fucking day, winner of the traders. It's been fun. It's been fun. And you look so good. We didn't talk. Is this a stylist? Yeah, I had a stylist for this trip. styling you? Amazing.
Starting point is 00:10:27 She crushed it. I'm stoked. It's such a fun. Like, when I'm in California, I'm wearing board shorts most of the day. Board shorts, a T-shirt. But I love fashion. So it's a good chance for me to, like, actually wear some cool stuff. Are we going to see you, like, trying to go to fashion shows and stuff? I would do it.
Starting point is 00:10:42 Yeah, what? I would do it. I love it. Did you bring your... Because I went deep on your Instagram. I went, like, back. Let's see it. Fucking scrolls. Those Birken socks, the Boston? Yeah. You don't take them off. Did you bring them to the castle?
Starting point is 00:10:56 Yeah, of course. Yeah, I had Birkenstocks in the castle. I almost wore them every day. So maybe they just weren't filming or were you wearing them filming or just when you were like hanging out. If you were paying attention, you could see them. Like there were a few times where I had to kick him off to run. And I really went for comfort. I was like, this is our home.
Starting point is 00:11:12 I want to wear sweaters, Birkenstocks. Like, I didn't want to wear all that crazy. Did you have help getting dressed there or did you? A little bit. That was on my own clothes. And I had my friend come over and helped me like put stuff together. There was a lot of just, like, Philsen and, like, comfy sweaters. So wasn't it that?
Starting point is 00:11:28 I did, I had no idea I was getting into. Like, well, Tom Stanoval was saying, because he was here, because we talked about his pit-stain situation. And he was saying, he was like, as Dylan, we were both sweating. He was sweating too. So we're confirming. Were you also sweating up the wazoo in the castle? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:44 So I think it was that day. I had bugged the, so there, there are some, like, loner outfits you can wear from the stylist on set. And I think my first day I saw the heart sweater, which I really liked. I asked her every day, I'm like, can I wear this? Can I wear this? Can I wear this? Finally, she's like, okay, you can wear it. Why wouldn't she let you from day one? I don't know. They don't like to loan their stuff. They want you and your own stuff. So what is it there for. I know. That's what I'm saying. I was like, I want to wear this.
Starting point is 00:12:11 Let me wear it. So I bugged her every day until finally she relented. And I had a tink top underneath. I walked into that breakfast room. I was super hot and took it off. So now I'm going to tank top at breakfast. I leave the room, they say, cut, and she gets so mad. She's like, you beg me to wear this sweater, and now you're wearing a tank top to breakfast. Like, come on, Dylan. How hot was it? It's not hot.
Starting point is 00:12:35 It's just like, it's so cold outside, and then every room's a different temperature. So your body's just confused. Yeah. So it's probably like 72 or something, not too hot. How does it feel like to be in this moment, post-traders? It's fun. It's such a bizarre thing because we filmed almost. a year ago.
Starting point is 00:12:52 I was going to ask. So you have a year lull where you're like, it's going to come out. Yeah. And then you forget about it. Yeah. And then, like, yeah, it's, so I knew it was special in the moment. I knew it was going to be amazing. Like, just watching, like, from my perspective, being there, I was like, man, Bob the drag
Starting point is 00:13:09 Queen carries those first four episodes. Then Boston Rob carries the next three, Delores and Danielle and Carolyn. So I was like, I knew what the show was going to look like. I was like, we got a good show here. You know what's so funny about you? I feel like from the beginning of the show, it looked like you fucking knew what you were doing. But like so many times you didn't.
Starting point is 00:13:29 But like something about you was giving. Like if I was there, I would do whatever you said. Because it just seemed like you were like, no, like this is what's happening. And I'd be like, okay, I'm with you. But then you were like, Boston Robb is 100% not a traitor. You know? Danielle is my girl to the end. Totally.
Starting point is 00:13:48 Where I was like, wait. Something about him, I would do everything he told me, but then, but then you got it wrong a couple times. For sure, I thought Gabby was a traitor. I thought Bob H. Like, I made so many mistakes and I really was a rookie playing these games. So when I had someone like Wes, Wes was always like, hey, Dylan, like, come here. Like, don't say that theory right now. He's like, so much you don't see too. He should have gotten further, right? He should have. And really that was me protecting my alliance. But I was close to Boston Rob, and I wanted to make it further with him. Like, I've seen him keep his people close and then cut him in the end. So like, I wanted to keep him in the game.
Starting point is 00:14:30 And then Wes, I knew as a faithful, really, like he, but he was so dangerous. Like, his goal was to get recruited. So that scared me more than Boston Rob, who was a traitor. I didn't know he was a traitor, but I was more scared of West because he's so cutthroat. So what, did you have any strategy going in? Yeah, but I didn't do it. What was it? So I watched, I like, look, I love this stuff. So, like, I watched all the seasons.
Starting point is 00:14:56 Like, Australia. Irrespectively of going on. Like, you've watched it before. I had watched season. No, I had watched one season. Then once I knew I was going to go on, I watched them all. It's like, that's how I am. I love doing my research.
Starting point is 00:15:06 I love the strategy of it. So I had a lot of strategy going in, but I was going to play like Sam Asgari. Like, I wanted to be quiet. Like, I knew I'd have an advantage, no one knowing, who I was, so I was either going to get murdered first, like, because they don't know who I am, or I'd make it far as, like, a gullible kid. So I wanted this be quiet and just, like, slide under the radar and then be smart at the end,
Starting point is 00:15:32 but that did not happen. Because it's just... You took more of a lead sometimes and so... Yeah, and... But in a quiet way. Yeah, definitely. I'm not a big arguer. Right.
Starting point is 00:15:40 Like, you're not an arguer. You're not like... You don't come off, like, you know, brash, like, West, right? Mm-hmm. So, you do have the... quiet thing, but you were involved, but in a quiet way. Definitely. Yeah. And I had a lot of theories that people wouldn't listen to, and then I was right sometimes. So it's all about those relationships and finding people you trust. And I think
Starting point is 00:16:00 that's why I won the game. Because like when you look at Iver and Dolores, like, they didn't trust each other for a lot of the show. But for me, I trusted each of them 100%. And like, so we had different strategies and they would more rely on my strategy. So you were close with Dolores the whole time. Yeah. Oh, you were? Yeah, I was. So Boston Rob.
Starting point is 00:16:20 Yeah, so they, and they show up different things. Like Boston Rob and I knew they were going to play up our relationship. Oh, you did? But I was very close to so many people. And now you guys are playing it up with the clubs. We love it. You love it. It's so fun.
Starting point is 00:16:32 Are you bringing the ideas? Like, who's coming up? Yeah, I brought up the original ideas, but that, like, credit to Boston Rob, like, he's, I'm like, hey, let's film this TikTok. He's like, yep, he loves it. Like, he's having so much fun. Is he familiar with him? Does he do his own? A little bit.
Starting point is 00:16:47 His daughters, I think, keep him relevant. Oh, that's cute. He's just down for it. He has so much fun doing this stuff. So you're saying they played up your bromance, but you were close to who else? My closest were Carolyn and Danielle, which is crazy. Which is crazy. So add in Boston Rob to there, like my closest allies in the house.
Starting point is 00:17:07 We're traitors. We're traitors. And then. Wait, how didn't you see through Danielle and her like shaking and all that? It's hard to say because you see me in the show a few times. I remember after her chapel moment or whatever, the trivia episode where she got all the questions right and was like taking things down. I remember I look back and it was like Danielle, like you're doing way too much right now. And like I think when you're in an alliance with someone, you're protective of them rather than wanting them to be a traitor.
Starting point is 00:17:36 So for me, like the alliances were key. I knew I had to make it to the end in order to win. so I just wanted to keep my people as close as possible. I guess now that I'm thinking about it, if you're getting close to someone and you think they might be a traitor, then like, who cares? Because if you're close to them,
Starting point is 00:17:53 they won't kill you. So it's kind of smart. And that's assuming that I knew they were all traitors. I didn't know, yeah. Even if you had like an inkling. Yeah, and that's what Brittany says she was doing the whole season was like, Britney said she clocked Danielle like episode four
Starting point is 00:18:07 and was keeping it quiet. Who knows if that's true or hindsight bias? Like keeping quiet in interviews. too. Yeah. So that's where I don't know. When she broke down in the last episode, Britney, not the last episode, when she banished Danielle. Oh, yeah. That's brutal. And you came over to her and you were like consoling her. You like ran over and hugged her. Did you believe her in that moment? Because then in an interview you said like it was like overkill. I think I was already on to her at that point. But of course, I like Brittany and I see her devastated crying. I'm going
Starting point is 00:18:37 to go console her. Good thing she wasn't a traitor for longer because she wouldn't, I feel like she wouldn't have been. I don't think she, yeah, she didn't, she didn't, if she would have started as a traitor, I think she would have been great. But I think it was a lot to throw at her in that short of a moment with the, like, with already the suspicion she had. It was just like, it was not ideal for her. So Sandoval said that he told Alan that he doesn't want to be a traitor. Oh, he told all of us as well. It was very adamant. Did you have any preference going in? I didn't know we could do that. Like, I saw, I saw Sam do that too. And I was just like, I thought we had to like keep open. Oh, okay. So you didn't come in with any. No, I wanted to be a faithful, but I knew I didn't
Starting point is 00:19:18 want to be that person that was just like, yeah, I'm only going to be a faithful. So I kept the open ended in case they wanted to make me a trader. It was like, look, I signed up for the show. I know this game and like, let's make it fair. Like, if you make me a traitor, I'll do it. So that was more of my perspective. It's like, look, I want to be a faithful, but do what you got to do. Tell me about getting this opportunity? Like, how did it come about? Did you apply? Did your agents, like...
Starting point is 00:19:44 Sorry, her name's Dina Katz, right? Yeah, so I got the opportunity from Dina Katz at NBC. She reached out to my team. And, like, honestly just so thankful to them because... They saw you. They saw what you were doing. And I'm such a risk for them. Like, they have people that are established icons on TV, Boston Rob, Dorenda.
Starting point is 00:20:06 These people have 10 seasons of shows. I have my Instagram and you. YouTube content. So they saw something in me and took a risk. And when you look back like before the show's filmed, it was like unanimous of why are Sam and Dylan on this show? Really? Yeah, because it's like, yeah, we were we were underdogs from the beginning. And it made sense too. But I thought that it used to be like uncut, like the season one when Kyle from Summerhouse was on. I understood that not everyone was like from a show. The season one had mixed, mixed cast. So just normal people. And then they leaned into just celebrity cast. But some people
Starting point is 00:20:44 still fight for like the normal people are getting mixed in. I'm like, hey, I'm a normal person. You're not that. You're not normal, normal, normal. Okay. But you had the YouTube and the social media. You were doing, you were doing a lot of big stuff. Totally. No, I was. But you weren't anticipating being recruited for a reality TV show. Totally. And even when I'm watching the show, like, I guess that when the show started airing, I haven't seen the episodes. And I was like, I'm sure they're not going to use a lot of me because like but you haven't seen the episodes yet not before they air like i'm watching it with the population for the first time yeah so when that first episode episode rolls out i was like all right like i'm not going to be in this much and they keep
Starting point is 00:21:21 showing me i'm like what the hell like what did you think they would you made it till the end what did you think i thought they might like keep me quiet until the end i don't know and then i start watching oh my god that's crazy oh my god you guys he's so humble too how annoying so you get this opportunity you're are you straight away excited are you nervous to do something like this like what was your response both so excited so under prepared i mean then you got prepared though yeah i got prepared with the strategy but i'm under prepared for the reality of it all the tv aspect yeah i have no idea like i've never met any of these like bravo people like i don't know how much is real versus fake and what did you like now that you did it oh it was incredible it was so much more than i ever expected just
Starting point is 00:22:05 Because, like, I said it in the reunion, too. It was like, I did feel like an underdog. And, like, everybody felt like a fish out of water there. Like, when you show up, you don't know anyone, they don't know you. But the fact that they all accepted me so quickly and, like, worked with me and appreciated me. It was like, that was worth more than the show itself. Yeah, no one would be like, and who are you? Like, you're not on reality TV.
Starting point is 00:22:29 I totally. But that's what goes on in your head. Everyone doubts themselves a little. So, yeah, it was so. It was the best experience ever. Who did you know from before? I knew the Survivor players because I had watched a bunch of that growing up. Really?
Starting point is 00:22:43 Yeah. So I had seen all their seasons. Like Carolyn, she was the very first person I saw. Wow. I watched her season. I watched, of course, Boston Rob, Tony, Jeremy. Like, they're all three of the best players of all time in Survivor. So I knew all of them. But none of the Bravo people.
Starting point is 00:22:59 I knew a few. I knew Bob the Drag Queen, if that's Bravo, Rupal's. Yeah. So I knew Bob the Drag Queen. Dorenda. Sandoval, you probably heard of. Yeah, that was our first conversation. I was like, you look familiar.
Starting point is 00:23:12 I'd heard of them. So I knew a few. Okay. But you didn't go in with any, like, did you have any preconceived notions about anybody? Like, were you worried about how they would play? Oh, yeah. Yeah, like Wes and the survivors. And then that was my whole thing was like, the people that were most dangerous,
Starting point is 00:23:27 I just wanted to be with. That's smart. Yeah, I'm like, you guys know what you're doing. West took me in like a big brother. Like, Wes was really helping me. Boston Robb, too. So are you, did you keep in touch with Wes? Yeah, I really like him.
Starting point is 00:23:41 I actually used to watch, I know, but he looks exactly the same. Like, when was he on? Because he was on the challenge and stuff, right? Yeah, I swear, I was watching when I was 12. I know. He's only like a couple years older than me. I was like, how are you on TV when I was 12? I don't think he's a couple years older than you.
Starting point is 00:23:56 He's probably like 40 max. He's like, I used to watch at the time where it was like CJ. Remember CJ? No. What? Wes is like the only one I remember. He used to start fights and it was all badass and I was 12. So I was like, that guy's cool.
Starting point is 00:24:10 I know, but he should have taken your like stay quiet a little bit situation. We'll be right back after the break. Starting point is 00:27:26 I remember when ritual just came out. with their supplements and it was just like I feel like such a moment in like the world of supplements because the capsules are actually transparent so you can see what's inside. So that's what turned me on to it all those years ago. When I was trying to get pregnant with Noah, I was taking ritual prenatal supplements. I love that their mom founded third party tested for heavy metals and microbes. They share the sources and suppliers behind their key ingredients so you can actually trace what's in there. So they offer nutrient support for all the key phases of pregnancy from fertility support to conception to their essential prenatal and postnatal multis that support
Starting point is 00:28:14 the key nutrient needs before during and after pregnancy. Also, you can get their essential protein daily shake formulated specifically for pregnancy and postpartum. What I really love about it is it doesn't have that little burp thing that can happen to you with other ones, you know, and I just found other prenatals really hard to take. And these do not. They're nice little small capsules and absolutely had none of those nasty burps. When it comes to pregnancy and postpartum support, you want products backed by research and transparency. Mom founded ritual puts in the work and shows you the proof. Get 25% off your first month for a limited time at ritual.com slash not skinny.
Starting point is 00:29:00 That's a ritual.com slash not skinny for 25% off your first month. And we're back. Okay, so before going on traders, you were doing social content. You were doing YouTube. Yep. Right? Yeah. you were getting a lot of good partnerships I saw you were doing like a lot of yeah so like I guess
Starting point is 00:29:20 taking a step back like I worked in production so then I was working on like a star is born and I was worked at Warner Brothers for over seven years oh really and then I started to create my own content because I kind of grew frustrated with how expensive everything was it was we were doing two movies a year I was like we can make high quality content for cheap so I started running my brother's YouTube channel started creating my own YouTube And then that kind of led to down to earth. So we filmed that Netflix show. And we're just learning how to make high quality productions for cheap.
Starting point is 00:29:53 So that's really what I applied to my YouTube travel series. And like that became my passion. And it bled into Instagram as well. So like I could make high quality ads and like show off my personality a little bit on there. Were you like so you know how to do that stuff? Because you worked in production. Like you know the cameras, the this, the that. Yeah, the whole, I edit, I do all, yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:16 You do everything? Yeah, I have a, like, now I have some team that will help me edit. Yeah. Yeah, when I first started, I was doing the edit. I was doing the storyboarding. So did you leave the production job before traders? Yeah. Like, to do your own thing?
Starting point is 00:30:29 A little while. Yeah, I've been doing full-time social media for, and YouTube for, like, a couple years now since COVID. Did you ever think, like, to apply for a reality show or tell people you want to get on or was that not on the radar? I'd been reached out by a few casting directors before. But I just never felt like the right time for me. Really? This was the first year where...
Starting point is 00:30:48 Can you tell us like what? What shows? I'd been like in the... It wasn't like I was offered to do them. It was just like, hey, you should apply. Like, Survivor quite a few times. Wait, that's... You don't feel like that's for you, though?
Starting point is 00:30:58 It wasn't at the time. I don't think I was ready. That's the thing. Ready for TV? Yeah, ready for TV. I was like, look, my brother was like on stage at 12. Right. It was a huge personality.
Starting point is 00:31:09 Like, I was shy and love sports. Yeah. So it took me a while to get comfortable. putting myself out there in front of everybody. But you obviously had some desire to. Yeah. And that's what's cool. It's like 12 year old me was like,
Starting point is 00:31:21 I am never going to do that. Public speaking is my biggest fear. I'll never do that in my life. And that's kind of been like my goal is to just keep proving my younger self wrong. Like I can do this stuff if I believe. Oh, that's cool. So you obviously had some like, you know, inner battle with it. Like do I want to keep away from it or do I want to like lean into it?
Starting point is 00:31:43 And you ended up leaning in. And life kind of brought you this way. That's super cool. So growing up, you thought you were going to be in sports? Like, was that your goal? Yeah, definitely. I wanted to be pro in something, soccer, baseball. Like, I played every sport there was.
Starting point is 00:31:58 Really? Yeah. And then triathlon. Like, triathlon was by far my best sport. And I was on the path of going pro. And right as like I was eligible to get my pro card, social media started taking off for a different reason. Like I was posting all my marathons and my triathlon wins and no one really cared.
Starting point is 00:32:17 It was all, it was me, like devoted my life to this and no one really cared. Then I'd go camping with my buddies and on social media would like, they'd be like, wow, this is so cool. Thanks for sharing. I'm like, man, I could do more trips like this and stuff I actually like not kill myself in triathlon. Maybe I can like form a career out of this. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:37 That was kind of the turning point for me was realizing that my brand was not to be a one-trick pony. I'm not going to be a triathlete. I'm not going to be a director. I want to promote what makes me happy, be outside, try new things, learn and like travel. You tight rope like crazy. Yeah. That's such a, how did you get to that thing? Highlining. So that. Highlining, sorry. Yeah. Tate rope is like the, yeah, it's like circusy, right? And that goes back to being a kid too. Like, I remember I'd go on hikes and like Yosemite and see people rock climbing. He's like, wow, I want to do that someday. Now then I'm 21 and I'm like, oh, I could do that. Like, what's holding me back? So I learned to rock climb. And then I'm out there rock climbing now. And I see the younger versions of me hiking,
Starting point is 00:33:21 looking up and pointing. And then I see the highliners. And I'm like, wow, that looks cool. I'd love to learn that. So why not? Let's just go out there and learn it. Like by yourself? Do you hire someone to teach you? No, I just meet people. And when you, when you see people that are doing something you want to do and you're genuinely enthusiastic, they're going to teach you. Like, that's how the hell do you highline? like do you throw a rope to the other side there's a lot of cool ways like you have to go to one side fucking hook it in go to the other side
Starting point is 00:33:50 so like a lot of times like I just went out with my buddy Alonso he rock climbs one side I'll hike up the other side and then we'll like tie ropes together you drop them down but the fun ones so you have to trust that Alonso is literally getting it in right to the
Starting point is 00:34:05 sure but I trust him with my life he's the best wait are you tied you're tied when you you are how you call it tight High lining. High lining. It's like slacklining in the mountains. And then you harness yourself. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:19 So then you only fall like 10 to 15 feet when you fall. So it's dangerous in ways, but it's not as dangerous as it looks as a whole. So the traders fucking challenges were nothing for you. No, that was what I looked for to most. And then it wasn't that crazy. Even the last one wasn't that crazy. Yeah, it was fun for me. But it was fun because I was with Gabby and she was.
Starting point is 00:34:41 was so scared that it made me like... And her hair was like in her face. I was like, I can't believe she's not like getting the hair out of her face. But I was thinking about you, like, you, that, you probably, didn't they do something crazy on like the first season? Yes, someone had to jump out of a helicopter. Into like a cold lake or something. Every day I'd wake up and they tell us what we're wearing to the mission.
Starting point is 00:35:02 And I was just waiting for a wetsuit. I'm like, get us in the water. Like, I love swimming. I want to swim. Every day we didn't get in a wetsuit. I was like, oh, my God, we're not going to do this already. No, and then you got like the doll, the doll missions. Oh, that trivia one, like a lot of people didn't see it.
Starting point is 00:35:16 Danielle got eight of the 12 answers right. It's so fast. And something about Allen's accent and, like, the fact that I couldn't read on screen. Like, when I watched Jeopardy, I'm reading. I'm not listening. I sat there like this. Like, I was like, I'm not going to get anything right in this. It was like, just pouting.
Starting point is 00:35:34 You were like, please throw me out of something. Let me hike. Let me fly. What about the bug thing? Does that move you? No, loved it. Loved it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:42 And then I, but that was... You loved it for real. You're like, mm, cockroach on my neck. It was just like, I knew I was going to win. And then all of a sudden I lost. I was just like, what the hell? You were like, I could stay here forever. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:53 Wait, so how did you lose? Remind me. It was me and Tom Sandoval. And we had to like, we did, we lasted as long as we could, but we didn't find the ring. We had to like find this ring in this thing. Yeah. Were you bound? Oh, I was so bummed.
Starting point is 00:36:07 I just remember kicking myself being like, man, I'm, and I'm going to lose this game because I married Tom Sandoval. I mean, you just held hands for 30 minutes. You held hands for 30 minutes. Okay, so back to your Instagram. Did you, it grew probably substantially now? Yeah, I did. From the show.
Starting point is 00:36:25 Yeah, I think I was like, yeah, it's a couple hundred thousand, which is really cool. Wow. It's cool, too, because, again, like, that is the work that I've put in the last six years or something. I started social media when I was, like, 26. So I've been... And how old do you know? 33. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:36:42 So that was, it really is like, it's just a number, but you are proud to like, that's what your work. That's what I put so much effort into and to gain more like that is really cool. I'll tell you like times that I found you on social before this was when you and your brother were so hot and cute with your little siblings. Oh, yeah. And I'd be like, oh my God, look at these two. brothers because you have two younger siblings. Yeah, two half siblings. Oh, they're half siblings. Yeah, my dad
Starting point is 00:37:14 remarried. So it's Olivia and Henry. They're like four and five now. Four and five. They have a year apart? Yeah. Oh, wow. Maybe a year and a half. Uh-huh. But they're the cutest. And you guys are such good brothers. I think I saw them immediately when I got
Starting point is 00:37:30 back from Scotland. Like last year, this year I've been worse just because it's been a little busy, but last year, any chance I could, I'd go up there and visit. Oh, They don't live close by. They're about three hours away. Oh, okay. So you drive.
Starting point is 00:37:42 Yeah, drive. But I saw a maton last year, at least twice a month. Oh. And you are such a good big bro. From the best. From your other big bro. Yeah. So I like, look. Who's their fave?
Starting point is 00:37:55 You're a Zach. I see them more. So I like to take that crown probably. Yeah. But everybody loves that. But both of you are like so cute with them. Do people think, like, when you're with them, Because you do a lot of, like, go to the beach with them.
Starting point is 00:38:10 You, like, take them on a little... Yeah, people think Olivia's mine for sure. Oh, yeah? I'm sure. It's like, because you just said on a podcast, you have a girlfriend. Yeah. Sorry, everybody. People are probably like, it's a babe magnet situation.
Starting point is 00:38:23 It'd be like a single dad out there serving with your kid. Yeah, I don't know how to describe it. But yeah, it's definitely opened my eyes to being a girl dad, too. Because I think, look, I was that kid. I wanted to play sports. I wanted to teach my kid out of, play baseball and all that stuff, but seeing Olivia grow up, I was like, oh, I could, I could have a girl. Oh, you have a favorite. You have a favorite. So you would want to be a girl dad.
Starting point is 00:38:50 It's funny. It changes because like now she's in the dance for recital stage. So I'm going to dance recitals and that's new to me. And Henry's getting older. So I see Henry and Henry is me. He is me to a tee. Really? Like not as smart as Olivia. It's literally watching me and that grew up. Olivia's outgoing, so smart, that was Zach. Henry is me to a T. Like he, he just runs around, falls, gets up, like he hits his head and we'll have a huge mark and he just laughs. Like, he's, he's me. So I, I'm already, it's just different stages. You're already seeing it. Yeah. And do they give you like the itch to have kids? It's definitely, yeah, I want kids. You do. Maybe not right now, but I want kids for sure.
Starting point is 00:39:37 What else can you tell us about your GF? She's not in the world. For her, she's not on social media. It's like, she's not in the industry. So she's like, why am I doing this? And it doesn't add anything to me. And if you wanted to post like a couple pick? Totally fine.
Starting point is 00:39:53 Yeah. She doesn't care. But you haven't? I do once in a while. Oh, you do? Yeah. Okay, everybody, scroll back. I didn't scroll enough.
Starting point is 00:40:00 How does she feel about your like coming out to the world in this big way now? Super supportive. She's part of the reason that. I did something like this. Really? Yeah, she's always told me, she's like, people see you on social media and they get like one hundredth of your personality, where if you actually were on a show and showed your true personality, I think people would fall in love with you like I have.
Starting point is 00:40:22 So she would always push me to do something like this. That is so sweet. And she still feels the same way now that it's happened and you're living it. And she's unaffected by it. She doesn't see social media. Oh, she doesn't see. Okay. That's, keep it that way.
Starting point is 00:40:36 Totally. And it's awesome for me. It really separates work and your personal life. From here, now that you have an even bigger following and everything like that, what else do you want to do? Like, YouTube show. You had a Netflix one. Yeah, down to earth.
Starting point is 00:40:53 Like you want to do more of what you're doing on YouTube on TV? Yeah, I want to do it. I want to do so much. Like my bread and butter, like I just released a documentary on YouTube where I went to Guyana and fish for this. it was an incredible story, this village of 300 that saved this fish from extinction. So, like, telling cool stories and crazy parts of the world, like, that's my bread and butter. I want to keep doing that for as long as I live. But I'm open to anything. Like, again, I like proving
Starting point is 00:41:21 myself wrong. Yeah. I'd love to try acting. I'd love to be on another show. I want to just keep... You would try acting now. Have you ever done, like, an audition for an acting job? I auditioned for Star Wars way back in the day, which was hilarious. For what role? It was when Star Wars first revamped, and I don't know the, he was the lead character. Wait, what's his fate? Hayden, maybe it was the one that Hayden, where did that guy go, by the way? Heiden, do you know who I'm talking about? Yeah, but it's not him. Oh, okay. It's not him.
Starting point is 00:41:51 That was like Star Wars Episode 4 or something. This was like the one that happened 10 years ago or seven years ago. So 10 years ago. That's a call. 10 years ago, you were 23. I was working on Warner Brothers, yeah. And then they just reached out. Yeah, they just reached out.
Starting point is 00:42:06 They were like, we want someone that's not an actor that's, like, new, and they asked me to do it. It went really well. It was super fun. So that's why I know, like, I would be into it. I've just never tried it. Were you close to trying it? Like, or this was your closest? That was probably my closest.
Starting point is 00:42:22 And, yeah, now I've definitely have done some self-tapes and have more of a grasp on it all. So are you feeling like slowly but surely that shy kid? Yeah, totally. That's my goal. I want to just, I want to keep learning and pushing myself. Like, keep chasing experiences over anything else. I love that. What was the craziest shit that you did? Because I saw, did you swim with sharks? Yeah. That's pretty crazy. Yeah, I like doing that a lot. I try to go at least a couple times a year. I like doing that a lot. Does it need to be that they almost like eat you and then don't?
Starting point is 00:42:59 Like, what's the, what's the thrill that you need for it to be super fun? You know what it is? It's not like I'm an adrenaline. junkie. It's more that I like to understand things. So again, when people see highlining and rock climbing, they assume it's dangerous. But once you look at it more, you realize it's not that dangerous. Same with skydiving. Same with swimming with sharks. And it gives you that new appreciation because people think swimming with sharks like, oh my God, their food, that's stupid. The more you learn, it's like, no, they don't want to eat you. Like, and once you can grasp that it's an irrational fear most of the time. But they do eat people.
Starting point is 00:43:34 Yeah, but not like on purpose. Only if you annoy them or bleeding accidentally. Yeah, a lot of times I'll take like a nibble to see if your food or not. That's happened to you? No, no, no, no, no. That's not really good. So what does scare you in life? Does anything scare you?
Starting point is 00:43:51 Do you have anxieties? We did a public panel with like 800 people in the audience and went really well. So again, I'm proving myself wrong. But public speaking has never been fun for me. Does your heart start racing and sweaty or not to that extent? No, I don't know. I haven't really done public speaking like that. Like, I'm sure, like, reading a teleprompter would throw me off.
Starting point is 00:44:11 But it's something I want to try. Well, you know, there was just an award show, the Oscars was it? One of the award shows, all the, like, literally every single actor that came up to do their thing because they always have a teleprompter for those bits. Yep. They all messed up. It was the funniest thing. That would be me.
Starting point is 00:44:28 They all had, like, let's say it said, like Dylan's name. Like, I would be like, and then I went to Dylan. Like, they said the name. It's like, oh, my God, everybody is messing up. It was just wild. That would 100% be me. I'm like, I went to, I was not good at reading as a kid. Oh, really?
Starting point is 00:44:42 A little dyslexia. I don't know what's going on, but so I'd get up there and I'd not be able to read well. We'll be right back after the break. I feel like it's a consensus that mac and cheese is everybody's comfort food. It's the food that we, you know, kind of remember from our childhood that made us feel good that, you know, till this day, if a menu at a restaurant has mac and cheese, like, we're getting it. We're getting it. We love it. It's the taste of our childhood, you guys. But of course, we have in our head now there we're a little more mature and educated that, you know, probably doesn't have so many nutrients. However, that was before Goodell's. serious game changer in the mac and cheese industry, a disruptor, if I may say so myself, because these are nutrient packed mac and cheese flavors, which they have a bunch of, like twist my parm, hatch chili, truffle, smoky dokey, just so freaking good. So basically, you guys, this is mac and cheese in a box like you know and love. However, there is so much good
Starting point is 00:48:59 stuff in it, like 14 grams of protein, 7 grams of fiber with prebiotics and 21 vitamins and minerals from real plant sources. So you can feel good about giving it to yourself, to your kids. Like, trust me, you need some goodals, mac and cheese in your life. And don't forget, they also have nutrient-packed pasta too. Pick up Goodalls on your next shopping trip. It's available nationwide at major grocery stores and retailers. I know you'll love Goodall's as much as I do. And we're back. Did you go to college? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:34 I went to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Did you have like a party party college experience? I partied a little bit, yeah. My college was so cool. Like some of my classes, I did like bull riding. I did welding. Like I had a lot of cool classes. This all tracks.
Starting point is 00:49:48 Wait, what about this van? Are you living in it? I did for a little bit. Okay. But it's my daily driver. So it's a good, yeah. That's your car? Yeah, that's my car.
Starting point is 00:49:57 Do you have another car? No right now. I want another car. So if you're going to dinner, you go with the van. Yeah. You valet with the van in L.A. Vespa. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:50:07 The van is, it's a large, it's a sleeper. Yeah, it has two beds in it. One's permanently made, and it's pretty much Bowie's dog bed most of the time. Okay, your dog. Yeah. He goes everywhere. Does your girlfriend go with you in the van? Yeah, she'll go.
Starting point is 00:50:20 She's into it? Yeah, she'll go with me. Have you ever talked to Dean from the Bachelor franchise? No, but Nick Vile said he's like, oh, you'd be best friends. I mean, he has a van. He turned his now, I think they're not married. They met, she was from the Bachelor franchise, too. She was like this beauty pageant, had nothing to do with this world.
Starting point is 00:50:39 Like, check out his Instagram. It's cool, too. He does, like, all that stuff. And she, like, is into it now with him and, like, sleeps in the van. And at first we were concerned because we were like, are you okay in that band? Like, knock knock. But she likes it. Do they live in it?
Starting point is 00:50:52 They did for a bit. Yeah. It's hard to do full time. Have you done any amount of time that's, like, full time? Yeah, the three months was the longest that lasted. And it's crazy because like... Where do you pee outside? Yeah, I'm also a guy, so it's easy. Right. Where do you eat? There's a microwave at plates and stuff like that. There's a sink so I could dishwash. But you get very, is that OCD? Like, because right now it's a car. So like I sleep in it once a month maybe. And when people come in, I don't care if they dirty it up. But when you were living in it, imagine someone like coming in with muddy shoes and tracking in mud and you're living in this thing. You're living in this thing. like no like so and they throw on a backpack and you're like no that's not where the backpacks go that's
Starting point is 00:51:33 where my shoes go and it's like you become really OCD with it I could see that but I'm not to assume you are dirty if you're living in a van no you can be clean you can be clean living in a van yeah oh my god I had a shower I have a shower on the back or so so now would you do survivor I would you would yeah I would and that's one of those ones that's like because now you know like the alliances and like the things. I think that I, that's more of just the casting. I don't know if they cast like, like they like finding the people that have never been on shows before and stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:52:05 So I don't know if I would get cast. That's, that's honestly it. I think you would. Look, being on an island for, and surviving, like, that's way more my speed than a castle in Scotland. Oh, yeah. What did you do in your downtime in the castle? You don't get much downtime.
Starting point is 00:52:21 Oh, okay. Yeah. So you're consumed. It's a real life. Because it's a short amount of time, too. It's like 10 days. I was at there a month. Oh, you were there a month?
Starting point is 00:52:30 A month, yeah. Oh, wow. That's the people that lasted the longest. Wow. Damn. Did you like Scotland? Would you go back to, like, tour it more? Absolutely, because I didn't get a fair, like, yeah, that's a loaded question because I
Starting point is 00:52:45 didn't see it really. Like, I got to see the castle. Right. So it's like, I want to go back in the summer when it's a little better than it was when we were out there. It rained a lot. So, like, I want to go back. back in the summer and, like, actually experience it, play golf.
Starting point is 00:52:59 Wait, so you're an outdoorsy guy, but I feel like you don't like the cold. It's like you're like outdoors with the shark until it gets cold. All my favorite places are, yeah. Then you come in. Yeah. Look, I ski. I like winter, but it's not my favorite. It's not your favorite. Another thing I noticed about the show is like you seem to be one of the only people into the money.
Starting point is 00:53:16 Yeah, sure. Like you cared about the challenges and to get money into the pot where sometimes it felt like people didn't. Yeah, and I think that's like. Look, 50,000 at the end of the day, it's a lot of money. Like, it's not like we want Survivor and got a million, but like $50,000. Like, when I worked in Warner Brothers, I think my yearly salary was started at 50. And maybe by the time I left after seven years, I had $70,000 a year.
Starting point is 00:53:40 Yeah. So, like, I was aware that that's a lot of money. Is that what you ended up getting from the pot? 50,000, yeah. 50,000. But then taxes get taken out now? Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:53 Uh-huh. So minus, I think, 30% in Scotland. Oh, you pay taxes in Scotland? Yeah. That's crazy. You do? Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 00:54:04 You know what else I was wondering about the show that I want to ask you? Because you were voting for Gabby a lot. Yeah. Was she a throwaway vote for you or was she thought she was a traitor? I thought she was a traitor. I thought she was a traitor, 100%. Really? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:15 Why? There's a lot of reasons. And again, you're grasping at straws in the show. Like, TV makes it look very obvious. It was Danielle and Carolyn, like, blah, blah. You don't know. And it all went back to when Bob the Drag Queen was a traitor. Like Gabby is the first to admit she had the wool pulled over her eyes by Bob the Drag Queen.
Starting point is 00:54:34 So when I'm honed in on Bob the Drag Queen, I'm like, who's he working with? Who are as close as people? And all signs pointed to Gabby. And when I tell Gabby, hey, I think it's Bob the Drag Queen. She'd dismiss me. So again, I think it was a little bit of judgment that she would be a good trader. And she was so different than me. So I couldn't understand her that well.
Starting point is 00:54:54 So I think I judged her. I assumed her relationship with Bob the drag queen meant she was a traitor. The fact that she didn't vote for Bob the drag queen again, I thought I was jumping to conclusions. But at the end, you threw the greenstone or whatever. But at the end of the game, she was the one I trusted the most. Really? Yeah, it was.
Starting point is 00:55:12 Well, she said they all come around. It's true. And you came around. It was after Chrisel got banished. I knew 100% that Gabby was a faithful. And then the show, like, you can see me being a little like, oh, I still don't really trust her. I trusted her by that. I trusted her after the Christel murder
Starting point is 00:55:27 because I knew she wouldn't have murdered her best friend and she would have murdered me. She would have murdered Tom. So I knew she was a faithful. Oh, I see. And it was just like, I was thankful that she was willing to work with me after. There's so much to think about it.
Starting point is 00:55:41 I honestly think my brain couldn't handle it. Because now that you said that, she wouldn't, then that made sense to me. I was like, okay, then that makes sense because if she was a traitor, she would have a reason to murder these people. If she's a faithful, she won't murder people. Yeah, it made no sense.
Starting point is 00:55:54 It's like she would never have murdered. Like, why murder in plain sight? Like, that's someone you really want to murder. Like, she would never really wanted to murder her best friend in the castle. So are you close now, you and Gabby? Do you have a good vibe? Yeah, I look, I still feel like I have making up to do to her because I made her time in the castle harder.
Starting point is 00:56:13 You think you did? Look, I think we wouldn't have won without each other in a weird way because I put the target on her back. So then they wanted to keep her around because it was like I was always going after her. So we did, we did, we wouldn't have won without each other. That's like a fact. But look, I was, I was, I was annoying to her in the beginning. You were, you, the finalists are just like a random, a random collection of people.
Starting point is 00:56:40 Like, Ivor, you, Gabby, and Dolores, like. Yeah, it's the best. But you guys will have like a camaraderie until the end right now. Are there any regrets, something you didn't do on the show that you wish you did? my biggest it's not even a regret look I won so I have no regrets in that respect yeah there's votes that I like were hard for me like voting for Sierra like that was the one vote that I did with the herd and it felt like shit but maybe if I didn't do that I wouldn't want so why do you feel so bad about it because she turned out to be I knew I like was pretty much 100% sure she was a faithful but I also was 100% sure I couldn't change a vote
Starting point is 00:57:17 like me throwing a vote on Gabby again or like voting for Danielle, all I would have done is put a bigger target on my back and then like, yeah, make a new enemy and it was just better for me to fade into the background that day. Are you going to dress and drag with Bob? We've talked about it. A collab post is coming, people.
Starting point is 00:57:39 I love that you leaned into the misguided. Yeah, I have so much respect for him. So I said if I'm ever doing drag, it's going to be with Bob the Drag. Oh my God. And we've been in touch over it. So we'll see. He goes on tour a lot.
Starting point is 00:57:51 He's a busy dude. Is there anything that wasn't shown that you filmed? You just said, like, you thought you wouldn't be shown. I don't know how you thought that. But is there anything you filmed that was cool or that you wish was on the show? Just more of the fun. Because the show is so intense. Right.
Starting point is 00:58:07 Like, and I'm watching myself, too. I look like I'm playing Scooby-Doo, like the super intense detective. I'm like... Well, you're not as intense as Sandoval. No. But, like, so much of it was just fun. and belly laughs and like that's more who I like what you see is me but that's the most serious version you're going to get right I'm very much more aloof and goofy and like there's a lot of
Starting point is 00:58:28 that in the castle that was fun that is true but there is a good side to it too because it because it is such a game focus show it gave people the opportunity to kind of just have it be about the game you know like no one's coming for sam for being brittany's ex nobody's coming for san of all for the cheating thing anymore, like, they're letting people kind of just be who they are. That's a great show. So I feel like that's a, that's part for me that makes it like a good show. Okay. So aside from Survivor, which we're putting it to the universe, yes or no to these ones, dancing with the stars. Oh, that's the most nervous one for me. Like, but you said you want to push yourself. That's why it would be so scary. I like, I think I could be good at dancing,
Starting point is 00:59:16 but I've never done it. Like, again, I'm an athlete, so I think I can, I like being coached. I think I could figure it out. Uh-huh. I could see you on it for some reason. Yeah. Man, that would be the one. Like, of course, that's going to be the one that I get asked to do because it's the most
Starting point is 00:59:30 difficult. That's how life is. Naked and afraid. Naked and afraid, probably not. Because you have to be naked. Yeah, and I met someone that went on the show and it sounds rough. Special forces. Oh, hell yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:43 You would. That's easy. Yeah. That's like something I would do for fun. That is something. you. And honestly, if you did it, it would be for fun. Yeah, totally. You know what I mean? And I, like, yeah, I think I'd do well on it.
Starting point is 00:59:53 How, you said your girlfriend isn't on social media. You obviously are because of your job, but do you scroll? Are you like seeing, like, consume a lot of social media? Yes and no. Like, I feel like you have to is when it's your job to learn what's going on. So do you know pop culture? Like, what's going on? A little bit. Okay, let's quiz you. All right. Who's Kylie Jenner dating? Ooh. So Kylie.
Starting point is 01:00:16 She's saying, ooh. It's like. Like, this is the number one thing everywhere right now. Yeah. Okay. I just get the, I get them, their names mixed up. So Kylie is, is she the one with Chalame? Yes. Okay.
Starting point is 01:00:27 Yay. Good job. Name three of Pete Davidson's exes. Kim Kardashian. Okay. Good. Ariana Grande. Right.
Starting point is 01:00:37 And, yeah, I think that taps out. That's it. That's all I got. I'll give you one. What? Quebec and sale. You don't know. But she's...
Starting point is 01:00:46 Actress? She's old school. Old school actress? Old school actress. Okay, yeah. Phoebe Denvor, then I'm saying her name wrong. Yeah, I think I worked with, like, her nephew once. Okay.
Starting point is 01:00:58 But that was pretty good. What won for Best Movie at the Oscars? Anora. Do you watch it? I loved it. So good. I watched it on a plane, which is hilarious because there's so much sex. I know, watching those movies on the plane.
Starting point is 01:01:12 But sometimes movies are better on the plane, honestly. I loved it. And, like, that, the bodyguard guy was such a good character. Oh, my God. He's amazing. They were all amazing. And I just love art house films like that. They're not made that way anymore.
Starting point is 01:01:25 Because it was, like, more than an independent film. And it had so many scenes that were just like, it's not driving the plot forward, but they're just letting it breathe. And that just doesn't happen anymore. So you're into, like, movies and how they're made and everything. Yeah. You know what I'm picturing? You on a plane, there's turbulence. It doesn't bother you.
Starting point is 01:01:43 Oh, no, no. You're like, whoo, like, give it to me. Give it more to me. Congrats on being on Fallon last night, by the way. That's huge. Was that a moment? It was cool. And I did Drew right before.
Starting point is 01:01:55 Drew was on a seat. Did she sit on you? No, I would have been there for it, though. She's so special. She can, like, she can, like, read your soul somehow. She read your soul? I swear. She's just, like, her, like, emotional intelligence must be, like, 100%.
Starting point is 01:02:09 Oh, my God. She's really cool. No sitting on you. No holding hands even? We held hands a little bit. At least I was going to be worried. She must have not liked you. She has her dogs on set.
Starting point is 01:02:22 She is so special. She's so cool. But that one was because I did that one solo. Fowleron was with the group. So Fallon was quick. So it was definitely a trip because I love Fallon. I play in his golf tournament. He has the 8 a.m.
Starting point is 01:02:34 Invitational. So I knew him. Oh, yeah, the 8.m. I'm on the 7 a. 7 a. That's a B league. So I knew him going in. I was like, I never thought I'd do that show.
Starting point is 01:02:43 So it was a trip. But Drew Barrymore was like... Drew Barrymore was fun because it was like a longer. I was actually up there. I see the... Yeah, it was just fun. And you're probably like a fan of all her movies.
Starting point is 01:02:55 Yeah, I told her. Oh, she's very popular with my family. Dylan, you're the best. So happy for you. So excited to see what you have coming next. Thank you. And thank you for being here. Great questions.
