Welcome back to the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast.
I'm your host, Amanda Hirsch, and I still can't believe that I get to chat with some of my favorite stars
and my very own podcast where you'll feel like you're just talking shit with your best friends in your living room.
on today's episode i have on hannah burner hannah burner has been on so many times before
but she hasn't been on as a comedian who has her own stand-up special on netflix top-rated on
it looks because we were supposed to do it in studio and i was supposed to give her a big hug
and tell her how proud i am of her but instead there was um a communication error let's call it
and Hannah thought we were doing it virtually and she wasn't in New York at the time that
I thought that we were doing it in person. So shit happens. And that's why I made her feel bad
about it for the entire episode. So enjoy my episode with Hannah Burner.
Hannah Burner is on the pod today. She's been on so many times before. We literally started
podcasting together from like my one bedroom apartment. It's just crazy how far you,
you've come that now you're number two on Netflix with your own comedy special insane in the
membrane it's crazy but i do have to say two girls went to beacon high school in new york city
they hustled they made it this fork no i i have to also congratulate you and i'm sucking up to you
but for many reasons but one because you've had such incredible guests and i whenever anyone talks
about like, oh, Amanda, like, she's doing so well.
I'm like, I remember when you had, like, seven jobs and you were running around just to make ends meet so you could do what you love.
Yeah.
Which was talk shit about me.
Ends meat sounds so dramatic, you know?
But, but no, you, you were like hustling like crazy.
And then you got pregnant and I could tell you were like, okay, this is going to be a lot.
I told you, by the way, this is real.
I told Hannah, I was pregnant, like one of the first people.
because whenever I'm pregnant, I can't keep it in.
So, like, if I see somebody, I'm telling them.
You know what I mean?
Because you think that they are looking at you, like, is you pregnant?
And you're like, yep, I'm pregnant.
And they're like, I know, I know you could tell.
And I told you in my house.
I'm taking your Starbucks order.
Like, you don't have to tell every fucking person.
No, but that actually happened to me.
I went to, I went to, this is like, name dropy a little bit.
But, like, I went to, like, Steph's event or, like, Simon Huck or something.
And no one drinks nowadays.
everyone's sober you know it's not weird to not drink and we go to the bar and they're like what
are you drinking I'm like a soda I'm pregnant I'm pregnant and literally it wouldn't have been weird
I just I just really divulge the information for no reason I'm like you and I think that's why
we love podcasting because all we have to do is just have no filter but like all whenever I try to
lie like they say you should lie in like ubers when they ask about your career like they'll be like
what do you do? And if you say comedian, like, it's, it always becomes a whole thing. So once I was
like, I'm an accountant. And the guy, like, knew all about accounting. And I was like, fuck. And I was
like, and then I was visiting like a college. And he's like, why are you visiting college kids? And I was just
getting like, I was cornered. I was scared. And I'm like, I'm a comedian. And I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
I lied. There is that TikTok. I'm an accountant. Do you remember? It was like one of the first,
it was like sex workers would say their accountants.
You know,
remember that vaguely,
but I also remember the days
when you didn't have a TikTok.
I don't, by the way.
I still don't browse and I know,
first of all,
good for you for like fighting for it
because look where it got you,
this fucking TikTok.
But like,
I remember the early days,
I sound like Love Island,
when you were,
you're like,
I'm on TikTok and I'm never going back.
And I was like, okay, calm down.
And you're like,
TikTok, TikTok.
And you're still like,
it's it's in your special like you still give a shout out to ticot everywhere you go the thing with
ticot is the algorithm connected me with like-minded silly fun women who liked my shit where like sometimes
i felt like the internet you post it and no one sees it so i love the algorithm of ticot but it's up
and down you know yeah but i like instagram here's what i don't what you said you like about it is
kind of what I don't like about it is like on
Instagram for example you're posting
to people that choose to follow you
that like I guess
mostly want to see your shit
whereas TikTok you can end up
obviously on stranger's screens
who are like who the fuck is this bitch and why is you
here you know?
True but I also I like kind
of the like discovery
aspect of TikTok where you can
discover like funny people or
creative people that you never knew about
just because the internet was like putting
them on a platter to you. Yeah. But, but also I don't read the TikTok comments. I don't know where
I'm at. I don't know where I'm going. You don't? No, I'm a creative. Okay. I'm an artiste.
You're an artis. I'm a queef artist. I know. You're obsessed with two things. This is what I thought
about for our interview. There are two words that Hannah's obsessed with. Labia. Like, how many times a day
do you say labia? Because I never say that word and you use it to no end. I mean, I'm a, as a doctor,
Or, like, it is the term that we should be using.
Wait, labia is straight a vagina or it's the lips.
Babe.
What?
You've had two babies.
No, so there's the inner labia and the outer labia.
So it's the lips?
Yeah.
Okay.
It's a pussy lips.
Why am I pretending?
Like, I know more than you.
I actually don't know what they are.
Do you call it your labia all the time?
I just think I want to normalize that, like, sometimes girls.
girls have labias. They have uneven labias. They have no labias and they're like flowers and they're
beautiful. I just, anything that girls feel insecure about, I want to like fucking normalize because
I think that's the only way the patriarchy stays in power. If we don't normalize.
Labias. Labias. Yeah. That is true. That is how the patriarchy stays in power. I think we just
figured it all. Wait, we need to bring it back to what you said because some people don't know and it's
super important that we went to the same high school. Yes. And like we're probably like the
at the same time came out of there because I don't know what's talking with those people.
They're still like Aaron from the real housewives.
I know.
She's obsessed with this fact too.
She's like, we need to get three of us in a picture.
I'm like, no one cares we went to begin the three of us.
Like literally nobody.
The school was, it was a good school, but it was in a shithole.
Like it was our gym didn't have ceilings tall enough for people to shoot a basketball.
Wait, but isn't it so funny that like we're both our T's?
and LaGuardia
LaGuardia
School of Performers
was a block away.
Who came out of LaGuardia?
Timothy Shalemae?
Yes.
Like,
I think Jeremy Allen White
like everybody.
Wait, if we're name dropping,
Jeremy Allen White went to my middle school
and was my friend in my drama class
and it's incredible.
For some reason,
he hasn't contacted me,
which is crazy.
That is crazy.
That's crazy.
But yeah, he was one of,
of my friends in middle school in Parksville, Brooklyn. So shout out. Of course he grew up in Brooklyn.
I know, but he was just like this cute, sweet, kind of shy kid. Oh, of course he is. And I love
that for him. Like, I love that now his, like, dicks all over Times Square. His dicks all over
Times Square. I have a question. Are you still bringing up tennis a lot? Because, like, that used to be
your thing. Have you moved past the trauma? No. Oh, okay. I mean, I actually didn't bring it up at
all in my entire hour comedy special.
Because I haven't processed the emotions enough to joke about it yet.
Truly, I thought it was the opposite.
See, I just asked you, like, maybe you've processed it and you're over it.
Can I defend myself for a second?
No one was coming at you, but yeah.
I felt a little tone.
No.
So first season, the whole joke was like, does Hannah play tennis?
In the very beginning, they're like, you have to tell the audience about yourself.
can you talk about tennis?
So they have this one clip.
They replayed the same clip every fucking episode.
Because what's cool about reality TV is you could start watching episode six.
And you're like, their job is to make you feel like you know what's going on.
So like I wasn't saying it multiple times.
Yeah, but it wasn't even there, Hannah, like cute.
But you were saying it everywhere.
Like I feel like every time we talk.
Oh, well, podcast, yes.
It would go back to like tennis for you.
You know what I mean?
It really was like sitting.
I feel like it was just...
Why would you bring it up then?
If you know it's something that's making...
I'm trying to fucking...
No, because I thought about in a good way.
I was like, I feel like now I see you playing on Instagram, like you post yourself playing
and stuff.
So what I, my psychoanalysis was like, she's moved past the trauma.
Now she can just like enjoy the sport, like for fun days.
Wait, that's what I'm trying to make it look like I'm doing.
It's working.
But I love bringing up tennis because it was like in my head, my longest.
relationship, like my worst breakup, my biggest failure. Like, I really felt like a loser failure.
Like, I remember waking up at like 22 and being like, why did I put 12 years into this when now
I'm an intern? Like, well, you know what's wild though? I was thinking about it for you. You know,
that question that people ask, like, what would you be if you weren't X? So it's like, what would
you be if you weren't a stand-up comedian, you would be a reality star? What would you be if you weren't a
reality star a tennis player like so random for you i just think i've look i've lived a lot of lives
and i've failed and been fired from a lot of things but i've learned now that like it's just about
like failing and then not stopping and like with tennis i could have been like i'm a loser i suck
but instead i was like okay what's the next thing it took like five or six years for me to find
like that comedy was even something you can make money in and that like that i that i that i that
even could do it. It's just like, don't give up on yourself and keep searching. What made me
good at tennis made me good at stand-up. Do you ever regret that you stopped with tennis that you
didn't keep going? I'm proud of myself. It's like when people get out of marriages, whenever
anyone gets divorced, I'm, you know, you're always like, good for you. Yes. Yes. Like, get the
fuck out. Like, life is short. I realize I just thought that like you're supposed to be miserable.
You're supposed to be like, your life is supposed to be worse than everyone else.
because you're becoming a champion.
That's what you have to do to be a champion.
You have to be, like, so miserable.
And then I was like, I just can't do this anymore.
Like, I just don't think it's right for me.
And then now with stand-up, I have so much fun with it.
Then I'm like, wait, was the cheat code that you find something that you can enjoy?
Yeah.
Wait, was your dad was like hard on you with the tennis stuff, right?
My dad was hard on me, but he also was like my number one supporter.
I think just the hard stuff with my dad was that I felt like the more I won, the more love I
deserved, which I think I've, it's probably my biggest thing that I work on with my therapist.
Shout out my therapist.
But it's like, that's why when I've had ups and downs in my career, like, even like post-reality TV,
I was like, you know, I'm engaged and I'm like, why would this guy want to be with me when I have no job?
And I suck.
I was just thinking about the other day, and this is wild.
And I remember, like, because you're at such a high right now, and I'm so happy for you.
And it brought me back to, like, the low point.
And I was like, I literally remember not only how crazy it was and how, like, undeserving it was and how awful it was.
Like, I won't forget, like, going out to dinner with you.
And I was like, let's take a pig.
And you were like, are you sure?
Do you remember that moment?
Oh, my God.
And you- I remember the dinner vividly where I remember feeling like I just needed to like explain everything to you guys to like make you even like want to hang out with me. And I was like, I'm on your side. I was like, I never for one second. I just didn't. I was dealing with like people were tagging me and people were like, hey, I'm getting a lot of messages that people don't like you or something. And it was like such a blip internet moment, bigger scheme. But during it, I just was like, I don't want my friends to have.
have to deal with what I'm dealing with.
No.
Like, I don't need to take anyone else down with me.
No, but that's, you were so emotional about it and you were like, are you sure?
I was like, are you insane?
And look where you are now.
Like, first of all, you're calling it a blip, but like, you experienced it and it was,
you got out of it alive, but it was, I mean, the internet is brutal.
And you're like a living proof that you can like literally live.
live through that kind of moment and then fucking soar after.
I also think I was lucky that it was reality TV.
So it was, you know, a specific narrative that was being put out there.
I know who I am.
I know what was on the cutting room floor.
And I'm not going to pretend that that's real life.
I'm glad it got views.
I'm glad whatever happened.
But then it's like, I really believe that if you just keep being yourself, things do work out.
Like, I, I fucking believe in karma.
Like, I really do.
I really do.
And anyone listening, going through, like, a dark time or having bad stuff happen to you,
just stay true to yourself.
Don't try to hurt anyone.
Don't try to wish bad on anyone.
That's just, like, bad energy.
Like, put all it into yourself and just be, like, thanks for the motivation.
And thanks for reminding me that I wasn't in the right lane.
At the end of the day, like, this was a gift to you.
DeLola, DeLola, Delolola.
You guys know how much I love my girl, J-Lo.
We also know that she is not only a mega superstar, pop star, actress.
What is it, triple threat?
She's a quadruple threat because she also launched Delola cocktails last year,
and it's been a go-to cocktail for me.
She wanted to craft something that was delicious, easy to drink,
made with natural ingredients, and was lower in alcohol.
We know she doesn't like getting shwasty.
lower in calories and gluten-free.
And that resulted in Delola,
a line of delicious crafted cocktails.
What I love most about Delola
is it's made with premium spirits
and natural botanicals,
and it comes ready to enjoy without any effort.
You don't got to shake, shake, shake.
You just have to pour it over ice
and sit back and sip in the sunshine,
hopefully in some beautiful sunny backyard with a pool.
Delola takes out all the work
of having a delicious crafted cocktail
because everything is already in the bottle.
What I love most about DeLola is it's actual alcohol.
You have one with tequila, one with vodka, and one with Amaro.
They also launched a new margarita that's light, a light margarita, and that's what
Premium Tequila and Triple Citrus.
It's delicious.
It's lower in calories.
It's lower in sugar and alcohol than a traditional margarita cocktail.
It reminds me of my skinny mark back in the dizzle.
Visit Delolololololife.com to buy Delola cocktails now and use code not skinny for $5 off your first bottle.
Also, follow Delola on Instagram to learn more.
Again, that's code not skinny when you go to Delololife.com and they'll get $5 off.

like, what are you doing? Why wouldn't you want to get cash back on shopping that you're already
you doing, okay? Here's a perfect example. Because I remember the days that I used to use just a
debit card, okay, when I was a mere child. And people would be like, use a credit card so you can get
points and things. And I was like, that's a conspiracy, you know? And then I was like, oh my God,
how much time have I wasted using a debit card? So this is kind of the same vibe. Like,
you're going to feel like time was wasted, not shopping with Rakuten because it's the smartest way

So you left Summerhouse. You left the world of Bravo. You had a few months. You had a few months.
of like fucking a deep dark hole and then how did that turn into like wait i'm going to do
comedy it's funny i actually i was in a deep dark hole for a while but i never was not moving
i was always moving so like during all of it i was at the clubs at night i was at the clubs at
night for while shooting summer house they just didn't show it they they were pretty particular
about comedy was like in you since before well i started the first time i did stand up was
2019 so which i remember by the way i remember you going to shit holes like when i tell you guys like
literally basements of like i don't know where like you really did the work like wait i love when
you make fun of me like it i have a problem i literally get giddy i'm like jeezing even no but it's i think
what happened for me is comedy
really saved my life because
when you're in the Bravo world, it's so
intense and you really feel like
everyone cares so much about it.
And then I would go to the comedy club
and I would tell the comics what's going on
and they would literally maybe making fun of me.
They'd be like if I was in your situation,
I would have done this, this, and this.
And they're just laughing.
They're like, I don't even know that was happening to you.
And then when I go on stage,
you literally have to be present
when you're doing stand-up comedy.
And it was like the only time I was out of my head.
and not repeating, like, what could I've done differently?
What can I, like, reverse this?
What can I say to make people see me a different way?
Like, it was so, like, it was just annoying.
Yeah.
And with stand-up, I felt like I could just, it was a release.
Like, I could just perform.
And at least if people didn't like the show, like, it was me.
It wasn't, you know, powers that be that, like, did put myself in a type of way.
No, I could really see that.
Like, you're in your head about all the stupid shit that even your specific shit that even your
specific stupid shit
was stupider than
other people's stupid shit.
I would like to get the stupidest award.
You got the most stupidest.
No.
You're stupidest.
You're stupid shit from like Bravo has so much stupid shit,
but a lot of it is legit, right?
It's like cheating.
Yeah.
Or somebody said something really bad with Hannah.
Or like scamming people.
Yeah.
With Hannah, it was like stupid shit at a thin air that wasn't a thing that couldn't hold
water.
You know what I mean?
Like it didn't have.
I always went enough.
people like take aside like it starts to make sense right and that's why I'm grateful to those people
to be like I even after my first stand-up comedy show a bunch of the people came to watch I remember
Austin was there like it was so random but they were so supportive and cute and I remember it pulled me
aside after and they were like oh that's what you like to do like this you seem like alive when
you do this yeah I always I just wanted to make jokes all the time which the producers do not
They're like, we have a story that we're trying to tell, and that's why Giggly Squad was invented,
because we'd have hours and hours of us laughing in the bathroom, and I remember the camera guy
would just, like, walk away, and I'd be like, but that was good. That was fucking funny. That was money.
And they were like, we don't care. So it did help. Giggly Squad became a place where it's like,
you feel like you're in the bathroom with us, getting ready before the party when we have to,
you know, address something serious or like ask someone about something that's, you know,
give credit to Kyle for coming up with the name.
Oh, yeah.
If you guys remember, let me bring you back to the moment.
They were at a table and he literally said, and giggly squat over there won't shut up.
And fucking, that's the name of your super successful podcast brand.
Like, that's wild.
I just, I try to not take things too seriously.
And I do think, like, we had some very funny remarks back and forth that unfortunately got clouded
by like just like taking stuff too seriously but like that was great and i think like using it and
having fun with it because when i even when i was little i remember like my parents friends would be
like hannis loves to giggle like that was always a word i have nervous laughter too like i will
giggle through anything it's the one thing in my life that i have is i will giggle and i just
laughing with my friends is what has got me through it's the one thing that people can't take away
for me. Wait, Hannah, when you, though, like, see clips of yourself from Summerhouse or think
about episodes, like you think you, you think of yourself like you weren't a good, good at it?
You think you weren't good at reality TV? Because, like, I think you were good at it.
I think my first two seasons I loved. My last season, I thought I was being a feminist icon.
Ah. When I was filming because of stuff that was being said to me. Yeah. But then when it's not shown,
You look like you're just a reactive, annoying, crazy person.
And honestly, that was also what motivated me to speak up because I felt like, especially
women on reality TV, they have to be the hot one or the like desperate single one or
the annoying one or the drunk one.
And I'm like, why can't we be all of them?
And I think there was a lot more complicated things happening that season.
And I think we really weren't allowed to talk.
about fourth wall stuff so they were like making up excuse me they just wasn't making they've changed
the show so much and in my time it was like you can't even say that it's it's a show cast like yeah so i think
the season would have been better with more truth to it and instead people were left confused and angry so yeah
i mean that season if you guys look back like i'm dying to meet sierra one day to just be like were you
never met sierra no i haven't met her you would love her no she's so she's such a beautiful angel but
I still think back to that time of like,
were you dating Luke?
Like, you hated him?
Why did you hate?
Like, that's my first question.
No, you despise that man.
You know?
None of that.
No, because they wanted a love triangle.
Right.
And there never was.
Right.
So I'm saying that's why you're so right.
That season was so confusing on all ends.
It was like, wait,
they were supposed to be together,
but she hates him.
She doesn't want him to say hello to her.
Like, it was just so crazy.
But no, it doesn't, it doesn't make sense.
But you know what?
Sometimes the editor's,
great and sometimes it leaves people just frustrated and like why would you get mad at that or why
is he it just didn't make sense and then i felt very misunderstood yeah and misunderstood is a very
fucked up emotion wait but hannah now that you you know you're still friends with sierra obviously
and page like is there any warm fuzzy place for the show for you in your heart like do
oh my god yes yeah like and i'm i'm i'm friends with like honestly a lot of the
producers and stuff and the showrunner, it put me on and it made me realize I love being in front
the camera. And like, I wouldn't be here without it. Yeah. I have, I mean, I've also done a lot of
therapy, but also at the end of day, two or three seasons pretty good. Pretty good. Two out of three
that you mean were, were good. Yeah. Yeah. That's it. Is that almost a passing grade?
A beacon? A beacon. Yeah. Beacon. Our school, by the way, was
so cool we didn't have grades they were like we had projects based assessments yeah how liberal
and like we were so granola so you're saying you do have like you can talk about summerhouse
in a in a positive it's not all bad just because it ended bad oh yeah I also like I'm I like have
a great relationship with Andy I think like the people who were involved new stuff going on I think
the people were involved didn't know that it would end the way it did and I also think you know I wasn't
the internet games. I wasn't like trying to, you know, get the crowd. Like I wasn't, I didn't
even know there was like internet threads and stuff. Yeah. Where other people did. And I was
like, oh, okay, well, that's... Do you know that I remember when you changed your handle from
being burns? Wait. Wait. Did you save it? Did you switch it to, like, is it yours or you
let go of it completely? I think I let go of it completely and like immediately like a bro took it.
And I was like, that's fine.
Yeah, I remember when you did that, you had, you were like, I'm going places.
I can't have this, I can't have this name and it needs to be my name.
That's so, but it is really like to anyone who's manifesting shit, it's like all the little
things you do that eventually add up in one day like you're ready.
And also, like I always, I like having a plan and just like I like to chase a goal.
Like I'm like a horse.
Like put me in a lane and let me chase.
I don't want to worry about my insecurities, my past.
I like to be driven and have like a fun journey.
Wait, so when you started doing the sets and the, like we said,
back rooms of comedy shows and all that shit, was the goal I'm going to have my own special
on Netflix?
Like, what was that the goal?
I feel like Netflix felt a little untouchable.
Like, I didn't even put it out there.
And I almost feel like the fact that I wasn't like, I want a Netflix special.
it made me become a better comedian. I just wanted to become a great comedian. That was honestly
the goal. And I think with tennis, because I want to bring it up. Oh my gosh. She's like,
you said I don't bring it up anymore. Watch me. But this is with a lot of things. If you're too
result oriented, you're like setting yourself up for failure, it adds so much anxiety. But if you're
loving, like, for example, with podcasting, if you're like, I need a rank one every week,
you could consider yourself a failure. But if every day you're like, I want the best interview
possible i want to enjoy this work i want to like that's how you have a great podcast and it took us
fucking years to have the podcast we have and i think with stand-up comedy Netflix was not even a
i was like yeah maybe in 15 years that'll be cool but i really was enjoying going on stage
making people laugh finding a purpose again in some capacity and getting some self-esteem again
which you get from when like jokes land and people fucking laugh in the audience also i get from
being like i'm going to go on stage tonight put my put it all out there and come home and feel
accomplished like i did something instead of just like like scrolling your phone and getting
mad yeah no it takes a lot of i mean i feel like stand-up comedy like that it's not healthy
like it takes somebody is it is confidence the word like what do you need to be able to go on the stage try to make people laugh and know that it might not owe his head like you need trauma trauma no i'm telling you if summer house hadn't happened i would have not had this Netflix special wait what you need trauma you said well yeah because I'm jealous of people who can just wake up and like enjoy their life like
being enough.
Like you wake up, you have a family,
you know, you go to your job,
you come home, you have a class,
you need the claps, you mean?
I like, I like a challenge,
like to chase something.
And I think it's from growing up
with the tennis,
so many highs or lows because I want to talk about tennis.
I do think that it's just,
you can't,
you have to have some kind of issues.
I mean,
athletes and addicts love stand-up comedy.
And also,
I didn't even want to be a stand-up comedian.
right like that was never a dream right so how did that but you did because like before summerhouse
you were at bitches and you wrote those like sketches do you remember i'm like do you remember
do you remember when you did that so that there was some sprinklings of it you know so yeah before
summer house i had found the job that i loved which was writing tweets writing memes directing
what is that the thing is that the cat oh sorry that's my cat oh my god i was like is that a boom
A set of thing, that is butter burner.
Butter burner who looks like Cindy Crawford.
Okay.
And you'll put respect on her name.
So, no, yeah, Betches was my comedy boot camp.
And then from Betches was where I got like a DM from a producer that was like, do you want to go on somewhere else?
And I'm like, I'm from New York.
I love going out east.
And like, I'm 26 and single.
She's out of east right now.
If you guys didn't realize that she missed her in studio recording because she's in the Hamptons.
So we phoned her in.
just in case we need to repeat that real. No, because she does go out east. See you guys. Reality TV is real life.
It's real. It's so real. It's so real. She goes out ease. But it is crazy how like the people around you do affect how you perceive things and how you think of yourself. And I'm really fortunate to have the comedy community of like just like fun people who have been like rooting for me and there for me. I have a lot of people that have. No, you do. I mean,
I'm glad that you didn't bring this up and I will bury myself, but I really wanted to come
to your, to your premiere party for your special. I did. You're, you literally have a family to
take care of. No, I literally gave week. I gave weeks. I gave birth five weeks ago and it,
I haven't like gone out at night yet and this would have been like a very big thing for me.
I messaged you out of like the kindness of my heart as in I want you there, but I do not want you to
come yeah like do not do that for me really like I really because it's you like I was like
what do I do how do I make this happen in the end I didn't go and I apologize like I wanted to be there
to support you but at the same time like you didn't need me you have so much support like how do you
explain like I don't know another person that is do you feel that do you feel like whoa I'm so
lucky so many people support you what have you done to get this kind of everyone's rooting
for me. Thanks. It's, it's crazy, but I think, like, when you've had, like, public humiliation
of, like, no one wants to be friends with you at, like, 28 years old, like, high school,
you're kind of, like, so, you just are so over the drama. You're so over the bullshit. And, like,
I have the people in my life are just people I want in my life. Yeah, I'm really lucky,
like, the people that came to my party are people who I've collaborated.
with, who I've known forever, who I love. And yeah, there was a time when, like, it was my birthday
and no one wanted to, like, post a photo to be, like, happy birthday, Hannah. And, like, I don't forget
that shit. But it's, like, I know the people who I love and I'm there for. And I realize you can't
just have people in your life who aren't who are trying to take you down. And do you think that people,
obviously everyone supports you so much in your success because you're, like, actually a good
person and you're deserving and everything. But do you think that people? But do you think that people, obviously,
think there is part of it where people are just so happy to see like a story that's like
risen from the not from the ashes but like well i remember i remember being like wait so i
don't get a redemption season oh redoubt yes i remember that too i remember being like like i was
even told like you know he's gotten it she got it this is part they burn you down they build you
back up they but that's what they do and i was like but i don't know yes i remember this
And I remember this because, and I always told you this, I was, I didn't, what's it called when you give someone like, I, I, I hyped you up so much of the first two seasons.
I was like, Hannah, nobody starts off this good. Like, it's so good. You're getting no hate. Like, that's crazy. And, you know, and, and right. And I remember then after the third season, you were like, wait. So where is? Where is?
I do have to say, with reality TV, too, you're putting into a character. So it's like, you're not the perfect here.
when people loved you.
That's not who you really are.
And you're not the horrible villain that people want to make you out to be no one is.
So like you have to kind of not believe the hype or the hate.
Yes.
But did you manage that?
Like with the hype, did you manage to be like, okay, relax.
I'm not that great.
And with the hate, did you manage to be like, relax?
I'm not that bad.
I just think sometimes in a show that's like multiple people,
that's what reality TV becomes
just like egos
like being like
who's liked more
based on the edit
and you just fight over it
every year
and it's like super boring
I don't know
if you guys have heard
of Cora Organics

I was like, Cora Organics.
I'm basically Miranda Cara, a supermodel with a glowing face.
Since bringing the award-winning range to the U.S. from Australia,

First of all,
I've been using
their plant stem cell retinal

Like 80% of traditional retinal users
said the serum
had better results than retinol,
and it's so, so good.
Also, their tamaric brightening
and exfoliating mask and cleanser.
The cleanser lives in my shower.
I'm obsessed.
And also their nony glowface oil
is amazing.
And I won't forget when Miranda recommended,
that I use it on Noah's Exxamomom because we're besties.

I was just thinking about the funniest story ever.
I saw this meme with a woman eating a bunch of sushi at the hospital with her newborn.
Because that's what they say, right? You miss eating raw fish your entire pregnancy. So you're dying for
cold cuts and raw fish and all the things that you can't eat and alcohol, right? Here's my thing, though.
I am five weeks postpartum and I still haven't drank alcohol. I'm not craving it yet. And I also feel like I'm just starting to get a little bit more sleep and just starting to not have a headache every day.
Do I really want to mix alcohol with that?
So I'm not in the mood, but obviously don't judge anybody who is, and I will drink once I'm in the mood.
Pregnancy is so scary and there's so many complications that can happen, God forbid.
But like I'm not concerned about like a turkey complication.
Like it's just not at the top of my concerns.
So like if I want a turkey sandwich, I'm going to eat one.
I will say that it is kind of like a second pregnancy thing because definitely with Noah, the husband, was like,
I remember that when you were pregnant with Noah, you were, like, grilling the turkey and, like, making sure it's at a certain temperature.
I don't know what you're talking about.
But, like, yeah, that's one thing.
I, like, didn't upkeep in this pregnancy.
I had some hummus.
You're not supposed to have hummus.
So there were some things where I was like, listen, I have bigger fish to fry, you know?
Like, I'll dip the pet in some hummus, okay?
I did not have raw fish.
That's, like, taking it a step further.
But anyway, so my sweet friends, they have moved here, but they are clueless.
So they wanted to send me sushi for my birth.
And I guess they asked somebody like,
Buzi, where's the best sushi for Amanda?
So they sent me Kazanuri, which is so good.
It's like the most famous hand rolls in the city.
So I get this huge delivery to the hospital room, okay?
And like, I'm like, okay, Kassi Nore, great.
Open it.
And it's like fish in a tub in tubs.
Like one of tuna, one of yellow tail, one of salmon and all raw, obviously.
and then like a stack of sheets of seaweed and then containers of rice.
Literally, they sent me a create your own hand roll to the hospital with the newborn.
My hands are supposed to be so clean.
And here I was supposed to be rolling up in my hospital gown, unlike that moving table they give you,
rolling up hand rolls.
Like, what are you thinking, girls?
Oh my God, but I felt so bad not eating it at all.
my mom was there at that point.
So she was like holding Lenny.
And I was rolling hand rolls, hoping for the best.
Raw talking.
Raw talking hand rolls.
I gave birth at Lennox Hill, which shout out to Lennox Hill.
Love Lennox Hill.
Literally did have really two great experiences, great staff, everything.
And I also remembered that the Beyonce suite is at Lennox Hill.
Yep, Beyonce gave birth at Lennox Hill.
And one of the sweets is named after her at Beyonce Sweet.
I mean, it's not actually named out of that.
but everybody calls it that.
So actually one of the nurses was sweet enough.
She was like,
the Beyonce Sweet is right down the hall.
It's like, oh, my God.
So she took us to see it.
And I was like, yep, still a hospital.
Like, is it bigger?
Yeah.
Like, is it have a couch, like all these things?
Yes.
But listen, at the same,
at the end of the day,
we're all at the end of the day,
given birth the same.
You know,
we're all humbled the same way.
So this actually segment is sponsored by my friends at Byheart.
And I wanted to tell you guys,
about By Heart. It's an infant nutrition company and it's built from the ground up to deliver
real innovation on behalf of babies and parents. And their real mission is to make the best
formula in the world. Using the latest in breast milk science, they created a clinically
proven, easy to digest infant formula that's made with organic grass-fed whole milk. Yep,
certified clean ingredients and features a patented protein blend that gets closest to breast milk. As you
guys know, I exclusively breastfed Noah and this time going into having another baby, I was like,
I'm going to be super open to whatever path I take this time. So I wanted to have a formula in mind
that is the best in the market. And I found one and that's by heart. It's the only American made
formula with globally sourced ingredients. Use organic grass fed whole milk. Never skim. They don't skim
on our babies and you shouldn't skim on your baby. We spend money in a lot of things and we should
spend our money trying to give our infants the best formula on the market.
If you are to use formula, I really suggest you do your research and give your baby the best
is by heart because they never skim unhealthy fats.
They use only organic grass-fed whole milk.
Like, wouldn't you want to drink organic grass-fed whole milk?
Obviously, give that to freaking newborn.
Don't give the newborn soybean oil and freaking skim milk because the baby does not need to be
on a diet. The baby needs healthy fats. All that plays such an important role in their brain
development and their growth. So listen, if you're thinking of using formula, if you know you're
going to use formula, if you may supplement with formula, if you're curious about by heart,
redeem your welcome offer at buyhard.com. The code is not skinny 20 for a limited time. Again,

What do you think of what's going on now?
Because the show, I mean, this last season was good.
Then you guys brought it.
What do you think of them of Wes and Jessie?
Honestly, I haven't seen any of it because she's too cool, everybody.
No, not because I'm too cool.
Just because when you know how the sausage is made, it's not as interesting.
But I, oh my God, I love it because Paige makes me laugh and tells me all the things I need to know.
And does she ever FaceTime you from the Summerhouse?
No, because I don't want to, I don't want to get involved in that.
Oh, not even like when the cameras aren't on her.
The cameras are always on.
Oh, okay.
So, wow.
There's microphones everywhere.
Oh, okay.
So, like, you don't talk when she's there, just, like, via text.
Yeah, we're always texting, but also Summerhouse is part of what, you know, made me who I am.
And, like, the fact that she's still in it and, like, the gigglers love it all.
And, like, I love it.
And I don't have to be the one, you know, dealing with certain people that I didn't want to do with it.
So it's like a blessing.
Bravo is that part of the fandom is so great and obsessed and hypes you up.
And part of it can be toxic.
Yeah.
And I also think there's certain, it's WWE.
And it's not based on like, it's based on the narrative they want to tell.
Like, it's like, I always say, like, imagine your end.
enemies or people that don't like you got to explain what happened in a night versus how you
would tell the story. And then you just hope that it's your version and not theirs. Yeah. But you
probably know that a lot of, you know, the gigglers and a lot of the girls that are coming out
to your shows, like there are some of them know you from then, like from Bravo. So many. So many.
But also like with my following, I feel like with my girlies, it's like some people know we from
Betches. Some from Summerhouse. Some from TikTok. Some from just like stand-up comedy. And it's just
this like cool energy and mix. And yeah, Summer House is like, it's a big part of what I do.
And I also think everyone can relate to, you know, having trouble at work where you're a coworker
doesn't like you and want to get you fired. And do you think that today, because I remember asking
you when we podcasted then and spoke then, like about page defending you or not defending
you with everything that went on and now Paige is like so she's like everyone's lawyer you know
like she speaks for Sierra like basically she was like Sarah I'm handling this for you so
what was running through my head was like I feel like today do you think rather I want to ask you
do you think that today page would have handled that differently with you it's it's just I think
she definitely like we both grew from that and learned from it and our friendship has like
never been better because a like she can tell me anything and she knows i'm not going to like use
it against her or like bring it up on a reunion like i'm her safe space and i think if i was still
on the show our our friendship i don't know what it would be but it would not be where it is right now
which is just like pure love she's my sister she's my everything and i think like i almost
i think we almost are closer because like we had a choice do we want to stay friends
or we don't have to because i'm not on the i'm not your cast member
anymore like you don't have to pretend to be my best friend if you weren't and you also if you stay
friends with me are going to piss people off and the fact that she was like are you joking like you're
my everything and what we built together in spite of like all the times that we could have been like
this friendship's not worth it right so it's like we've never been like i love her so much and
I also do send her messages
every now and then
of like good lines to say
no stop really
if I just think of something funny
like not about specific people
but like I just I
you know it's fun
yeah I have fun with it
and I'll be like
executed you're like am I
like a songwriter
and someone else singing your songs
wait but you think
no but she comes up with most of her shit
you thanked her in your special
you said you couldn't have done it without her
that's so cute
it how how do you mean that that you couldn't have done this special without her well for people who've
followed us for a long time they'll know that my nick cannon joke was from us like riffing during a
live show and like page laugh so hard and in my i stopped and started texting on my phone she's like
you just bring your phone out and i'm like i need to write this joke down so i don't forget it
because if if you laugh that hard like and she brings it out of me like our chemistry's stupid yeah
And I always say, like, if it made Page laugh, I'm doing it.
And also, like, if I just feel like having her support and her, our friendship is very cool because I feel like we're not just like, oh, we love each other.
Like, we motivate each other.
Like, we're honest with each other where it's like, I, like, you might have done this wrong and I think you should do this.
And we, I push her and she pushes me.
So I think like our careers wouldn't be where they are if it wasn't for each other.
That's so cute.
and did you really do your spray tan for the show?
Paige,
because you put her in your credits for those who didn't notice.
You put her in your credits as spray tan artists.
Not to plug, but we do have a vlog where Paige helped me come up with my outfit.
And she was very serious about this.
Like to get Paige to like leave her apartment is difficult because it's her safe space.
She came all the way downtown to my apartment with her gloves, her spray tan, her,
She had a brush to dry it off.
Full titties in her face.
Like, it was like hilarious.
Wait, so she did your spray tan for this show that you, you filmed in Philly.
So then what?
You had to take a train?
So I, how did I get there?
I think I, I think I flew.
I don't remember.
I was like literally blackout during all that in a sober scared way.
And by the way, that outfit was amazing.
So you're saying Paige helps you?
Res X studio.
ResX studio.
So Paige early on, she was like, that's the fit.
Because I wore it out of Charleston show and I loved it because comedy is hard.
You're not like picking like something that just looks cute.
You have to be able to move in it.
You have to be able to feel like you could tell jokes in it and feel confident.
You have to feel comfortable, not sucking in.
Like, it's very hard to get a stand-up comedy outfit.
No, that was Hannah.
That was your, as it should be.
Like, if you're going to have a best look, have it on your Netflix special.
but it was your best look like it was so good the hair was such a good color we put so much effort
into the look and i do have to say i cared so much more about how i looked this special than my
wedding like my wedding dress i don't even remember where i got it or how i got it cared so much more
about how you looked than like how it went oh no no that was also it was a lot like the weight of
the special like the levity of it all like it kind of hit me like two weeks before i was very chill
And then two weeks before, I remember being like, am I in too deep?
Like, this is crazy.
Yeah.
Like, I can't, this is make a break.
Wait, so tell us how it came about.
How does it come about to, like, get this opportunity?
So a little, like, comedy nerd stuff is that I got this thing called JFL new faces.
So it's a comedy festival in Montreal where, like, Amy Schumer's got new faces,
Jimmy Fallon, Kevin Hart.
it's like a an inch it's like a debut town ball for like the industry being like these are the next
real comics so that was my first like and that was like a year or two after summer house and I was
like okay I think I'm doing something right and then I got like varieties right whatever and again
all this industry stuff it's like it's these lists you never know what the fuck's gonna happen
so you just take it with a grain of salt you're like that's fucking awesome let's keep going
And then Netflix, the executive, went to see my show in Irvine, California.
And I remember, like, looking in the mirror beforehand and being like, okay, I'm nervous.
Wait, so you, so give us the whole thing.
So you know about this.
Your team or whatever tells you, like, somebody important is coming today.
They're basically like, this is the moment.
Like, if he likes your hour, like, we could, then it's good.
And with stand up, I'm very loose.
I'm having fun.
So when you feel someone who's important in the crowd, you, like, feel their energy.
But I just remember, like, I'd worked so hard.
I loved my material.
I just, and a couple months later, we got a call.
And it was like, Netflix wants to do a special with you.
But the craziest thing was, I go up to Des and I'm like, I'm so excited.
Like, I can't believe this.
I got a Netflix special.
He literally just looks at me dead serious.
And he goes, yeah, you're not shooting that now.
And I'm like, what do you mean?
and he's like you have eight more months on the road you're going to wait and do this material
for eight more months continue to add cut the fat add tags and it'll be that much better in eight
months what are tags tags are like when you you're doing a joke and then you find like a little
comment that makes it even fun oh oh oh so like they call it tagging it up so you start with a bit
and then you ever see a bit that you're like that is so complicated and beautiful and so good
it's because they've been tagging it up for like that's what you do on stage you're trying to add just like make it more layered and funnier your quefing joke yes so a tag would be so the queffing oh my god this is a perfect example it's my favorite bit it actually came from a giggly squad conversation where we were like wait why do they say that i queefed like he queefed me oh okay that was funny so that was like the joke and then i added a tag which was and i know that for a fact because i never queefed alone yes and
And then would another tag be and I wasn't queefing.
I was farting.
Exactly.
So I just kept adding to it and tagging up.
That moment, I didn't have my phone.
But like I was like that's something.
I would like, that should be like a meme, you know, just that moment of like I wasn't
queefing.
I was farting.
I wasn't squirting.
I was peeing.
See, I actually the week before I started saying I wasn't squirting, I was peeing.
And it got a big laugh.
Oh, wow.
Those things wouldn't have been in it.
Those are tags, everybody.
Those are weird.
And, like, you people, you know, you're telling a story to a friend,
then you tell it again and you, like, add a little spice.
That's tags.
I love it.
You're tagging it up.
And I do have to do shout out to Des because he's experienced a lot with his comedy
career where he knows, like, your first special, there's no rush.
But it was hard.
It was saying to Netflix, like, can we wait?
But the timeline that he said when he was like, you're not going to do this for eight months,
is that up to you or he just knew Netflix would be like, this will take some time?
he basically was like Netflix was like we can shoot it whenever you want
and he was like tell them you want to shoot it the latest possible
oh wow like you want to take your time and like really
so I was sitting yeah I was sitting on this for like a year and a half
and I was like it actually page was the first person I told but I was like I'm not shooting
it for like 10 months and she was like okay oh my god that is a long time to sit
with it I know but it did give you motivation like every time I was so tired
I had to go on stage and I was just like dehydrated and bloated.
I just was like, get up there.
We have a Netflix special coming up.
Oh my God.
And the fact that again, like as of yesterday from when we were recording this, it was number
two on Netflix, like let alone getting it on Netflix, but then fucking dominating the
charts.
Like that's fucking insane, Hannah.
I have trouble processing emotions.
My therapist told me that.
So like I don't like feeling sadness, but I also don't like feeling happiness.
You know, when you see people like cry from happy.
I'm like, ugh, I don't like that. So anyway, I'm like battling. And the second I'm happy, I'm like, oh no, oh no. You can't be happy like this forever. Yeah. I get it. Yeah. So I'm just trying to be honest about these crazy moments in people's lives. Yeah. I never know how I should react to things, but I think I think it's just like at the end of the day, if you're nice to yourself and stop being hard on yourself, life is just lighter. So I'm actually trying to be just very like regardless the goods of the back. I
like I'm I'm content. I'm happy. I'm not depressed. I just want to not be depressed. I think with
tennis. No, she's really trying to get me back for saying that. You're like you said I didn't talk about
it, bitch. With tennis, I had terrible performance anxiety because I wanted to win so bad. And if I lost,
I was so depressed. And if I won, I was like, I'm the greatest set for. And then if I lost,
I'm like, you piece of shit, you suck. You should quit. And I was like with comedy, I wanted to be more of
like an art like you love doing it i'm expressing myself i'm having fun and i'm proud of myself
for not giving up and if and so you're saying like so if like mega success happens from it and if like
fame and accolades and all those things then amazing but i'm also good with like just doing it because
i love it yeah i think the only thing i can control is that i put out a special that i worked my
hardest at and i put that's all i knew and it was so good hannah it was
so good. Oh my God. Thank you. If you haven't watched it, you guys. I feel like you're like the critic of
everything on TV. I am. So like you're like I know you're honest about everything. No, because,
but I'll, I recently have seen some other stand-up specials. And so I have more to compare
to also like, like, oh, I love Hannah. She's so funny and this so funny. But like, I also
compared it to some other ones. And I was like, damn, this is like actually really good and better than
others that I've seen and I'm so proud of you and I think it's just amazing like where you've
gotten and really like you were saying before the power of manifesting like not only you and me
but Andy Sandberg you guys segue I was listening to Andy Sandberg on a podcast and he literally said
that when he was nine he said I want to be on SNL like not only did he manifest like oh I want
to be in this world or that world or I know I'm going to be on TV he literally said I'm
I want to be or I'm going to be on SNL.
And speaking of soicism, even when he tells that, he tells it like he's like a fact.
Like a fact.
Like he's like, I said this when I was nine and how crazy that like that happened and how crazy that the people that I watched that thought were the most funny are now my friends.
And he was just saying it in such a matter of fact way.
Like, yeah, I said this when I was nine.
It ended up happening.
And 80% is just like.
even believing you could possibly do it and starting to try.
Like, stand-up is like any women, too, that are interested in stand-up, it's like start
posting funny videos.
Just start.
Start.
It's the hardest part.
Right.
It's like you're not going to win the lottery if you don't play.
Exactly.
So you are married to Des, which you talk about on the special too.
You have a daddy.
You have an older, an older man, which is so not on brand for you to be married, by the way.
That was actually a joke that I used to have.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Did I say it?
I was like, it's so off-brand.
Oh, my God, I copied your joke.
I'm, like, going to be canceled.
You're not allowed to copy jokes.
But, yeah, no, because it is.
It's so true.
It's like, do you ever feel like it's weird for you to say, like, my husband?
Like, it doesn't add up with, like, your kind of personality that's out there.
It's so weird.
It's so weird.
And people will occasionally be like, we choose a husband.
But I do think, like, my, when I post, nope, my stuff online is me sharing my comedy.
Like, that's what I want to share.
I'm not trying to, you know,
get people like to the path i've appreciated the privacy of my relationship like i feel like we
gave enough and it wasn't shown how it should have been because i met the love of my life yeah
and it was not handled that way so i was like okay it wasn't like romantic i'm gonna i met the
fucking love of my life and it was just disrespected and i'm like that's totally fine i'm not
going to put him through that. Wow. Okay. And he also doesn't like being in the public with like his
stuff. Wait, but so it's such a gross question. I hate being asked it, but I'm going to ask you
because it's like it is, you're in the same world. Like he's a comedian, you're a comedian. He's had a really
great success in like Ireland, right? Where he's from. And he's seeing all your huge success now.
So how supportive is he? He's like my everything. And he, I mean, we just,
that he's tough on me, but like, he's very protective. He wants to make sure that I don't make
the mistakes that he made. He is really about helping me, like, enjoy the moments, staying out of
the comments. I almost feel like he's like my guardian angel throughout this. And I really think
that if we had met when I was in the, he was the same age as me, I don't know if it would have been
that dynamic. But it's like, when I first met him, he was like, I don't care about like money,
fame any of that stuff. He's like, I just love you. I've done so much stuff. I'm tired,
which is literally what the joke is. There's so much truth to it. He's just done a lot and he like
loves seeing me shine. No, I love what I love when you say that. I love that part of the joke too
because it's so like real life. You married someone older and he's more tired and it really aligns
with where you want to be right now. Like you don't want somebody who like wants to be fucking going
in the club. No, he's literally like, I'm holding it down, like, go to L.A., go to your shows, do
your thing. And then he also is like, he just had a YouTube special come out. That's, like,
incredible. He's very protective of me. Honestly, the only knowing thing is sometimes I'm
like, I need to make my own mistakes. Let me figure it out. But I always say with a partner,
like, if they're not an asset, like, why do you need one? So not seeing each other, though,
because you're on the road and he's on the road. Like, I feel like it keeps it hot. It keeps it sexy now.
I was about to say it is spicy, but we also are, like, very good at communicating.
I mean, it started, like, on Summer House every night at, like, midnight.
He'd be asleep already because he goes to sleep at, like, eight.
And he would put his ringer on.
So I would call him.
And we'd talk for, like, four hours every night.
Oh, yeah, I do remember that.
Like, full podcast episodes.
And we've always, he loves talking on the phone.
So, like, when I'm on the road, like, it's not like we're having long conversations,
but, like, I'll talk to him, like, eight, nine times a day, just checking in.
hey, I got to the hotel, what's going on.
So we're very good at communicating.
And then we don't take for granted when we spend time together.
Yeah.
Which is cool.
Yeah.
So, but with those schedules, like, do you see, like, having a family anytime in the near future?
Wait, this is so funny because I went on a whole.
That's so funny because I'm pregnant.
No, I went on a whole.
No, I'm not going to play that game with you.
So I went on a whole rant on Gigli Squad.
How, for some reason, no one asked me when I'm going to have a family.
And I was like, do they think I'm not capable?
Like, because everyone's always like, I'm going to get married.
Everyone asks you when you're going to have a baby.
I'm like, not one person has asked me when I'm going to have a baby.
So I'm so happy to ask me.
It sucks being a woman sometimes because like if I was a dude who just put out his first
and that fixed special, it would pretty, pretty easy to be like, yeah, my wife is pregnant
and, you know, I'm going to start a tour or whatever.
So it's kind of this place where I feel like I have to take advantage of the momentum I have.
And I also, I'm not like crazy.
Like, oh, I need a baby right now.
But like some people in general, like, we know we don't want kids.
Are you there or are you?
We've definitely brought it up.
We're like, we're like, is it a life hack that like you actually don't need to have kids?
And you could just have like the most adorable nieces and nephews.
Yeah.
And you could just like live the life we live now.
But I recently talked to comedian town papa.
Shout out to him.
And he was like, look, as creatives and people who just like, like,
Having a baby is the most incredible experience.
So it's like, why would you not do it?
And a lot of good material, too.
Great material.
No, but Hannah, I think that people don't ask you because I feel like just from,
don't take it personally, I feel like it's a comedian, a female comedian thing.
Like, I've seen so many.
We're barren.
I feel like so many female comedians even like grap, grab, grapp, what's the word I'm looking?
Yeah.
No, yeah.
It's a very difficult life.
Do I not want kids?
I'm on the road.
And like Chelsea Handler is like my biggest inspiration.
Oh, she is?
I was going to ask you where your biggest inspiration is.
Chelsea lately like changed my life.
Watching her is incredible.
I know.
And I taught tennis to her in my early 20s and I've since like met her, which is crazy.
But she's very like, I'm not having kids.
But that's what I started to hit on a little in the special.
I forget if I left it in.
But I basically was like I get mixed messages from moms.
Oh, you did leave it in.
You didn't watch it again?
You didn't watch it since it came out?
No, I can't.
I've had too many hours and hours in the editing booth with that.
I'm like, let go and let God.
Yeah, I'm like, mothers are like, it's a happiest you'll ever be or you'll never be happy again.
And I'm like, what riddle are these moms telling me?
I will go to audiences and be like, should I have a kid?
I'll do it right now.
I know.
You left that in.
That's so funny.
No, but that's the thing like with even that joke, like tell me what to do.
It's like you're joking, but that's so Instagram.
Like I've seen on Instagram
Women or influencers be like
I don't know if to have a fourth baby
Like should I?
Oh my God.
Yeah, the Mormons
From your perspective
Have kids enhanced your life.
Yes.
You know that the thing is you're asking me
Because you know the answer.
You know the answer.
I know.
And the thing is I was never like
I can't wait to be a mother.
But I wasn't either.
You can be cool about it also.
You know?
Well, I also,
but I also never was like,
I was like,
I'm going to have kids.
Right.
That's the thing with you is that I know that you,
I feel like we've had these conversations.
We have.
Where you were even closer to it,
probably because of what you said.
I feel like maybe two years ago,
you were like, yeah, like I'm ready, you know?
And then now maybe it's taking more of a backseat
because you're like on such a ride.
Look, he's not coming in me.
That's and that's what I'll say about that.
And that,
is my wise words. I'm so sorry that I was supposed to come in, but I'm doing virtual because
of miscommunication. But I feel like I like keeping on your toes. Yeah, she does. She's like,
I think you like being a little, always like, what's she going to go? Because you just, because you're so on
your shit. I think I just, I'm your lesson. I think I'm your lesson. I'm like northwest. I'm your
lesson. Well, you're like, no, you're actually lucky that I love you anyway. I'm so lucky. You're so
lucky. But no, seriously, you are so lucky. Hannah's special on Netflix. Not that she needs me
because it's fucking probably number one by now. We ride it dawn. Go see it. It's just a hilarious
hour of your life. And I can't wait to see what you do next because you are just bringing it,
baby. You're bringing it. I love you. And I love continuing following you. You're so consistently
hilarious and smart with all your content and your interviewing skills have just like just
become better and better and better. So keep taking over the world while having a full-ass family.
I know. That's how Hannah texted me about her, her premiere party, like, here's this invite if you
want to leave your family. That's literally what you wrote. And then I literally had to think about
like, do I want to leave my family? Maybe it'll be nice. The way I put it was basically like,
if you come, you're a bad mother. Yeah. No, literally. And I'm like, maybe I do want to leave my family.
Wait, I'm sorry. Did I mom shame you? I'm so sorry. Just a little. No, but you did make me
like it was okay but that's what I was trying to tell you like I wanted to be there
which obviously everybody that came did because everyone just supports you so much because it's so
great to see somebody you know that deserves it get all the goods so keep on getting the goods my
and keep on staying humble I love you and stay cool in New York City I have a nice breeze
coming in from thank you thank you for that's chirping so I'm just sending those vibes your way
Look, we can't get off the podcast.
I'm sorry.
I'm out of east.
Can you hear me?
I'm out east.
No, it's really far.
I love how we won't end this podcast.
We're like, can we keep talking?
What?
We're doing tags.
We're tagging it up.
We're tagging it.
No, I'm obsessed.
Now I'm just going to tag things up all the time.
Amazing.
