You may currently think, oh, I'm too spooky or nobody wants to see these tiny boobies. But believe me, one day we'll look at these photos with my. much kinder eyes and say, dear God, I was a beautiful thing. That hit me so hard because how true is it? Think about that right now. If you take a fucking naked pick right now and you look back when you're 80, what are you

going to think? Are you going to look at like the stretch mark that you're hating on right now or the like little roll that you have or the two or the three? Or are you going to be like, dang it? You know you're going to be like, dang it. Amayai, was the Roney trailer. I did hear from Aaron Leachie that it's going to be really good that the new girls bring it, Carol, that there's going to be explosive drama with Jessel. And this trailer, you guys are so I love how they always start a New York trailer with Sirens. And like New York, it's New York baby. like, you know, it's just the way it starts eerie. And it looks like there's going to be drama. Also, Regina, you and I met Daisy, the new cast member at an event.

And she told us, she was like, I fought with everyone. And then we see that in the trailer, she wasn't lying. So it looks like it's going to be so good. I love Carol. I love that she's back. And Roney has always been in my heart. I'm from New York. So it's been kind of my number one franchise.

So I believed in it all along. And I think that it looks. like it's going to be so good. That Haley girl, she looks crazy. I'm excited about that. Martha Stewart literally agreeing to be on the housewaves because she loves Daisy so much is insane. That we're getting Martha Stewart on a reality show. Like, who would have thunk?

You guys know what's coming up? August. You know, it's after August? September. You know what's happening in September? The Emmys. And we already have predictions on podcast. for the Emmys. So outstanding drama series, the pit is leading with 88%, which I think the

pit took so many Emmys in the last Emmys, so many wins, so many awards in the last Emmys. I could see that happening for them again. By the way, I did watch season one and now that's reminding me. I have to watch season two, not before I finish the five-star weekend, which I love with Jennifer Garner and all the lovely ladies that are on it. I wonder if they can be nominated. They probably can't be nominated. Because I would nominate Chloe 70, but I just love that show so much. For Outstanding Comedy Series,

62% of people think Hacks is going to win. Nobody wants this. It's got 14%. Widows Bay. I heard great things about it. 50%. I will say, like, Hax has been winning for the last few years.

I feel like maybe it won't go that way this time, even though it probably will, because it was their final season or their final season is yet to come out. All I know is like they're done. The fifth is the final. So maybe they will get it, actually. Maybe they will get it.

What did I see before? Oh, I just watched that Harlan Coben show. The show that won't be nominated for an Emmy and a Harlan Coven show because it's so fucking ridiculous. Very watchable, but ridiculous. I am still on an Odyssey, FYP. I haven't seen it yet. It does seem to be like it's going to be the biggest movie of 2026.

But on Polly Market, people are thinking that Spider-Man brand new day is going to surpass that because that's leading for the highest grossing movie in 2026. People think it's going to be Spider-Man brand new day, which is coming out at the end of July, which I'm going to for sure go see with my baby Noah. Isn't this so fun to predict things and guess the odds of great pop culture moments? Anyway, a pop culture moment that happened this week that I think was probably the biggest shocker to everyone that watches. Bravo is that Jacks and Lori KPR, who's been a guest on my show at the very beginning of my podcast because she was doing everyone's PR.

She did bachelor people, Bravo people. She's been with Brittany and Jacks four years. And she was seen canoodling. Canoaling. If I'd ever hear the word canoodling again, I think I'll be okay. But they were seen canoelling at a pool, I think celebrating his birthday with friends. But I mean, canoodling. like she's hugging him in the pool the way you hug like your partner, your boyfriend.

And don't forget there were already rumors before a couple of years ago that she fucked him in a bathroom. But Brittany still worked with her after that because I think Lori said she didn't. And Brittany probably believed her. But guess what? The proof is in the TMZ article. So apparently the Valley picked up the cameras and are shooting the fallout from this right now, which includes, I'm sure, Brittany drop in Lori KPR.

the way you drop a hot tamale. Okay. To talk about that and this season of the Valley, which I've very much enjoyed, I've loved watching the season. I love Lollaback. I just, I live for the Valley. And I'm having Kristen Doty here to talk all about that,

all about, you know, us watching her go through all that postpartum struggle, the issues with Luke, where they are now, wedding planning. She regrets, defending Danny and Nia to the death and so much more. So enjoying my conversation with Doty. Hi, Curley.

Hi. How are you? So good. We were just talking about the fact that we are meeting for the first time. So weird. So weird. Yeah. It's been years.

First time in real life. In real life. Yeah. Yeah. You look amazing. Who do you? I mean, fine. Thank you.

Like being a mom is tough. Yes. putting yourself first is like fantastic. I loved watching your, I mean, I know was probably mixed feelings for you, but I think it was really important. Yeah. The watching your postpartum journey on the valley. It's weird to watch that because she's just so little and she's so not little anymore. But watch, even the way I would like hold her, it was like, it was so unnatural, but it felt natural. But I was like, oh, it's so funny. I'm just so protective. And How old was she when you were filming?

She was two and a half months when we started filming. That's crazy. Yeah. That's a time. No joke. Yeah, you know. That's a, I mean, I don't know and I'll tell you why. Because it's like you're blackout.

I mean, you're blackout. It's blackout time. Yeah. It's not like you're going to be like when she was two months. No, you were in the fucking. You were in it. Yeah. You're sweating.

Yeah. You're, you're. Even watching certain things back, I don't. It's like I know what happened, but I kind of was. It's like out of body. It's out of body. Yeah. So how would you describe it looking back like, did you go, did you get like diagnosed with like a postpartum anxiety or depression?

Yeah. Postpartum depression and postpartum anxiety. Did you know it at the time? I did it. No. No. So I had, and I think a lot of moms do, but I had this whole like grand idea of what PPD looked like was supposed to look like where it's like, do you want to hurt yourself? Do you want to hurt the baby?

like you hear about these very grandiose like next level depression. So I figured it's hormones. It's normal. Right. Like it doesn't, I guess it doesn't feel like that. So it must not be. But when I watch it back, I'm like, oh, that's rage for no reason. Or like I can see obviously like the Mexico trip and traveling and I was just so anxious the whole time. And again, so soon after having a baby. Yeah, I don't think I started feeling like whatever this new version is of myself, like kind of really stepping into motherhood and feeling more calm until she was like 10 months. But that's normal. And now it's just getting a little bit easier every month because it's just so the norm now.

But I feel like in all of that and seeing you struggle, you're so Kristen with your baby. Like the loyalty and the like the baby first. Oh, 100%. You know, yeah. Hard. So the way we see you protective over your friends and seeing that side of you, but with the baby, you know, where you're like, I just want to be with her. Like, I want to be in the room with her, you know, and even though the babysitter is there, whatever is happening.

So that that part was really lovely to watch. But also, I think probably were your, was your inbox exploding of how many women felt seen by. Oh, for sure. Yeah. I mean, it was like a little bit of a mix. I've done this for so long now. It's like I really don't live in the negativity of the comment section. I feel like you really don't, by the way. People don't talk about me all day long. It's like if I find out you're coming after someone that I love, that affects me. But there's nothing that people could say now that's any worse than something they said 10 years ago. Yeah. You know? But when I would hear like, the Valley's boring this year. No one wants to watch moms. This is the best birth. control ever, blah, blah, blah. It was so quiet compared to the amount of moms that reached out and said, like, I feel seen. I'm postpartum right now. I just got out of it. Like, I'm seven months now, and I was exactly where you are. And that just makes it all so fucking worth it. And you're

filming a show is the small difference. You know what I mean? Yeah. Just having to pay attention to things that in that moment I didn't want to pay attention to. And were you? And were you though paying attention or were you like, bucket? Like, I'm going to pretend there's no camera. I mean, I don't worry about the cameras. That's not even a thing, but just like listening about the gossip or the drama or who's fighting with whose stuff. And I'm just thinking like, Kaya, Kaya, Kaya.

Well, you know when I could tell that the most was probably in the most recent episode when you weren't invited to the girls night. And I could tell you were just like, okay. You know, like, if maybe you would have cared, you know, I don't know if it's age thing or a or a kaya thing. Right. But I could just tell that it's like, oh, they didn't want you to come. You weren't even like who, how?

No. When was it? I didn't even, I was available. Right. You fucking didn't care. No, I went from being like the biggest social butterfly to just not be, I wasn't interested in leaving the house. Like, thank God Brittany lives down the street for me.

Mm-hmm. Like, it's like a four-minute drive. So that feels like a very safe space. It always has. So that's really the only thing that I would do. Well, Lala was talking to you. She was like, you need to start going out. Have you started doing that more?

Like a little bit here and there. But I think it's more of like gatherings at someone's house. They you'll attend. Uh-huh. And now I can bring Kaya places and I feel safer about it. How old is she now? 13 months. How is she doing?

What kind of baby was she? They showed a few crying clips, right? As a baby cries. Yeah. But what was her temperament? Like, was she like a. She's such. She's such a good baby.

Yeah. Like I know everyone, most people say that about their babies, but I'm like, she really was so easy. There were all the bumps in the road that every mom goes through, like, their digestive system is still developing in the beginning. So there's a lot of crying and all of that beginning stuff because it's the first time going through it felt really, really heavy. Not me, not realizing that it's like normal. This is every baby, every child is going to go through these things. It's part of developing their bodies, their brains, like everything. else. But once I could grasp that, I think, and also, yeah, just getting through it. Like,

every month it would pass, it was like, okay, I feel more prepared. Well, you were telling Luke on the show, like, I, it's not only that I'm going through these physical changes, which we go through, and that's a lot on its own, watching your body change and having it be so hard to kind of get back to where you were, but also the mental, the mental aspect of it all. Yeah, the mental, the emotional. I mean, that was something I don't, I wasn't prepared for. And I read every book and I asked all the mom friends and ask my doctors and blah, blah, blah. But I remember like after giving birth, like I thought pregnancy was the whole thing.

Like that, that was the big thing. How was your pregnancy? Was it hard? Was it? It wasn't my favorite thing. Yeah. No. Yeah. It's no.

Yeah. I'm not like. Did you romanticize it before? 100%. Because you also like really want it. You wanted it so bad. We had lost the year before. Yes.

We worked really hard to have this baby. So you thought it would be like. I just thought like I'm going to have a bump and I'm going to be glowing. I can eat whatever I want because it doesn't even matter. And everyone's just going to be nice to me and love me. Not like I'm going crazy the first 12 weeks. I think we even talked with this when I talked to you last time. But like I remember there being a stretch of like eight to 10 weeks where I felt really.

really good. But it was also when I went back on my lexapro, my SSRI. That's what we talked about. Anxiety calmed. Oh, that, that clip kind of went weirdly, got to weird places. Yeah. Did you see that? Yeah. Where we talked about taking meds. They were like, people were posting it on their own page. Yes, right. Shaming us. Yes. I saw that. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Anyway. But yeah, I just had this like one stretch where I felt like really, really great. And then, you know, once you're near third trimester, you're just so massive. can't move. You don't feel good. And again, it's my first time going through all of this. So I have no idea really what to expect, even though I read about everything to expect. But the pregnancy, yeah, not my favorite thing. Totally worth it at the end. Whatever.

Whatever. Yeah. So let's talk about like the relationship with Luke and how that was a big part. I mean, it was like, we're watching you postpartum and we're watching this other really relatable thing that happens. By the way, there's a book that's called How Not to Hate Your Husband After Having Kids. Did I really recommend that? It is a book. Running to buy. It's like, by the way, so many people send it to me when I would like even jokingly complain about my husband after having babies. But it's a thing because I think psychologically it's like we are pregnant.

We give birth. If you breastfeed, then you are the food. they say that the baby thinks it's like the mom. They think they're until. Yeah, I think they're like five or six months or something. And then they realize they have their own identity. So like you could be 50-50, but it's never like 50-50. Like the mom, when the baby's still a baby, does, I feel like carry a lot of the responsibility and the weight and the psychological weight of it all and those motherly instincts.

What was happening within you, re Luke? So I think looking back now, it was like I had this expectation and romanticized what we were going to be like during pregnancy, what we were going to be like after giving birth, like what he was going to do. And this was like social media videos and you're just like, oh my God. and he's like putting her pants on for her after her surgery. Just ridiculous things. Like I don't need him to do that, but I'm like waiting. I literally know the videos you're talking about. Yeah.

I had this like this very like romantic expectation and idea of what things we're going to be. He's trying to step in. Yeah. You're like where are you with? Where are you putting on my cream? Like girl you have a finger. You could put on your fucking own scarc cream. 100%.

Yeah. And so I think it was the expectation. For sure. Because looking back, and now we're so much, we're obviously in a much better place now. And he is the best dad I could ever ask for. I don't need to ask him for anything.

I don't need to tell him what to do. I don't need to request. It's just like he just does. He like lives and breathes for that little girl. Did you feel like he wasn't at the beginning or just not the version that you imagine? It wasn't the version I imagined. And he didn't have the same connection, I guess. with Paya as I did and he didn't it didn't bother him and he was like I don't know she's like a potato

she doesn't really do anything right now like I think she's awesome and you're like be obsessed with her I'm like stare at her like just can you just fucking stare at her like yeah just sit here with me let's not talk and let's stare at her yeah he's like you're insane yeah I have shit to do she's sleeping everything's fine I see what you're saying so are you now or is this you saying it was all me? No. Did he have some responsibility? Oh, for sure.

It was on both of us. Yeah. And for just different reasons. I wasn't, I don't want to say like I wasn't there for him, but I wasn't really considering his feelings at all. Well, we don't have the fucking time for that. No, I didn't have the band. Do you know what I mean? Yeah.

You just don't. Yeah. So don't, I don't think you should take that on because I was kind of a dick at times too. And I didn't even realize that. You were snappy. Yes. And watching the show back and just there was like, I think he even said it. Like there was nothing that he could do, right?

Once I would hit like, I met my threshold. And now I don't need your help anymore. I don't care. Go do whatever you want. It was like this defense mechanism I had. If I just say, go, then I'm not going to be disappointed if he goes because I just told me to do it. Yeah. Did you feel like you guys could be at a breaking point at that time?

There was like one or two moments that felt. felt really bad. And he was always like, no, that's like, we're going to fight. It doesn't mean it's, I'm not leaving you. What are you talking about? But were you like weirdly preparing yourself for that? Not preparing, but just, I lived in that nervousness. When Jesse went to Luke and spilled the tea, that was very housewaves of Jesse. Do you know what I mean? It totally was. It was just like a moment to like bring something up. Yeah. That was so gnarly. Not, I wasn't mad at Jesse at all. Well, for coming to you, I mean. Right.

That's, yeah. Yeah, I mean, oh, I thought you meant like Luke going to Jesse. Well, Luke going to Jesse. No, not Howes Wives. Confiding in his friend. Jesse coming to you. You take a walk in the creek with me. I'm like, what is going on?

So, Jesse literally doing that and kind of giving you this kind of big zinger, which is he might now want to marry you. Yeah. And that was just the worst. Oh, my God. I mean, the thing is I've learned to just like mostly to stay calm in the moment. Like, don't react. I had to like take it in because I'm thinking, what did he actually say?

Is this obviously we know exactly what he said. And that is what he said. But in the moment, I'm like. Like you're cognizant of like you're not as reactive. Yeah. In the moment. Because like did Luke really say that or did Luke say, look, we're not doing good. I don't even know when the wedding's going to be.

Who knows? In my mind, I'm like, I can't take. Like everyone's drinking, everyone's partying on this boat. I have to take what you're saying with a grain of salt. And then when I went to talk to Luke about it, and he's super drunk and exhausted. And it was the worst timing, but I'm like, well, no time better than now. Here we are. No time.

Yeah. And he was just so, I don't, not even dismissive, but just like, I mean, I forget what he said at one point because they obviously don't air everything. But he was like, well, if you're asking me if I want to get married, look at a courthouse tomorrow. I'm like, no, okay. Fuck me semantics. No one is trying to say we're going to a courthouse tomorrow. Like, I'm asking who a simple question. Guys are so dumb.

Sometimes. Yeah, yeah. Which is making us all really, really worse. I mean, I think it was just like kind of symbolic of where you were. It was like, we know the proposal day. Yeah. You know, which he said in the conversation too. I was so, oh, he said this in therapy and that hit.

It was like, you know, I hadn't met pregnant. pregnant Kristen yet. The therapist was even shocked. I know. I liked her. I do. I liked her too. He did not.

Oh, he didn't? No. So you didn't continue with her? We did not continue with her. But she goes, and then he immediately apologized and the therapist goes, no, no, no. Like, we need to sit in this for a moment because you said it. And he said, too, like, you're apologizing to me, but like you meant it. Right.

So, like, what is that about? Yeah. You have to figure this out. And we don't have to figure it out this second. But if this is, like, looming over your head and you're constantly thinking about it, where do we go? Well, how did that, did it like break you when he said that? It scared me for sure. But I just, I don't know. There was like a bigger part of me that was, okay, now this is just like a really shitty hurdle that we have to overcome. We'll be right back after the break. that. She can't sit with us. Was he blowing it out of proportion? Was he just used to like a certain version of you and this threw him off? That's really what I think it was. And what I always tried to explain to him like I don't have the answers for you, but I think if we can just make it past her first birthday and then see how things are going and like

reevaluate and communicate and come back together about this, it's going to be different. Were you trying to actively like work on yourself or like changes? Therapy. We were in couples therapy. Yeah. He just had a lot of stuff that he had been, I think, holding on to throughout for like the last two years. And then it all just started really coming up now that I'm like not pregnant anymore. and she's what now four months old. I don't know. He felt like it was the right timing.

But I'd rather him tell me and be honest about it so we can work past it than be too afraid to mention it. And then what we just explode later, it's not helpful. And his whole POV, I think he even said it this way, was like, Let's just get it over with it to be done. I'm like, okay, well, you carry the baby then. No. We both really want another one. I just don't know if I'm ready yet. Yeah. But I don't know how much time I have either.

So we're kind of feeling that all out. It's part of it because you went on this, you went on a GLP1 journey. Yeah. Right? That you talk about and promote. And you feel great probably. Oh my God.

It's like night and day. Yeah. Just getting back to a little bit more of like who I was. Mm-hmm. I can, that's, I think it's mixed with the hormones calming down,

feeling more comfortable about being a parent and more confident. And then, yeah, getting my body back. Right. So thinking about another baby right now is probably, like, not.

Yeah, like if you didn't have the, like, time. If we didn't have a time restraint based on my age, I would probably wait another. Yeah. Like,

wait till she's like two or three. But. When your mind. mind is like a little calmer. Yeah. But I feel, I do feel better about like going into baby too if we are lucky enough because, I mean,

not that every pregnancy is going to be the same birth, whatever. But I just, it's not going to be surprising me. Right. You're going into it prepared. Right. So where is wedding stuff standing?

We haven't even, no. No. Really? I can't. It's, it's all Kyah. right now. Like I can't. Do you want the wedding? Yes. You do want to do a wedding. Yes. For sure. I do.

Yeah. Like I don't feel a rush to need to do it. Yeah. Like in the next year or two. I think it's going to happen. For sure. Okay. Do you guys have ideas like. Yeah. We have a wedding planner and we have a possible destination. We have an idea of where we want to be. Okay. Yeah. Amazing. Yeah. So just not. There's not like a date. Nothing's like set in stone. No, not yet. Got you. What about the, the intimacy issues part. Yeah. So that is still tough for me. And after talking to one of my doctors, because I was on this SSRI that is a total libido killer, we're switching medication.

What, which one is a libido killer? Lexa pro. Oh, it's a libido killer? Okay. Big time. Like any SSRI is a libido killer? No. Okay.

Because I'm switching to a different one. So right now I'm kind of in the middle of like weaning off of one and on to the other. Because I'm like, at least I can do that. Because I want to have my libido. I'm not just doing this for him. Right, right. That's nice. I was going to say that's nice, but you're doing it for you too.

I want us to have intimacy. I don't want to, I don't want him to feel rejected and I don't want to ever have to reject him or feel then, like, because I just don't want to. Right. Does that scare you to switch, though? No. If like everything feels good aside from from that. No. I mean, it's just, it's something that was worth a shot and so far so good.

Yeah? Yeah. You feel like the libido is coming alive? No. It's only been like a week. Okay, so it takes time. What is it, Zoloft? No, it's called Vibrid.

But were you, like, not to obviously pry too much into your sex life, but like before you gave birth, were you like. Yes. It was, we, yeah.

I mean, and we were actively trying to get pregnant. So we were having sex more often. Maybe that's why he wants an. But they weren't all just like, okay, it's this time we really have to. It was like actually fun. Yeah. So there was a big change for him. But at the same time, I mean, I understand if this is still going on.

Two, you get cleared at six weeks. I feel like. I hate that so much. I hate that. Like, sure the full go up, doctor. Yeah. Six weeks. Like, fine.

Make it 16 or something. Like out of zero. Yeah. Make it 60. Just a year. He said 60. Just 14 months. But six weeks does feel quick.

Yeah. So if any girlies are like, you know, taking off their panties at six weeks, like I salute you. That's really like great. Oh, yeah. Your gold star vagina. But also don't feel bad. Intimacy issues aside, if you're still like scared your fucking stitches are going to tear. And that's what it was in the beginning.

Or you're still wearing hospital underwear. I don't fucking know. Right. Been thinking like my brain could not separate this, that my daughter just came out of my vat. And now you want to put something in it like. Yeah. Computing for me just I was like I can't make this, these two things true. Yeah.

It doesn't make sense to me. I think it's fine. I mean, I think you guys dealing with it now is super great. Yeah. I think at two and a half months postpartum, that was, it was too soon to be labeled an issue. Right. Do you know what I mean? Oh, for sure.

That's where I felt a little of that towards Luke where I was like, dude. And I totally agree with that. Yeah. And I even. when we would communicate about it, that was one thing I was still not going to budge on. But I also know, even though he doesn't award things the greatest at times, I also know, even though on the show it sounded like sex, sex, sex, it was like, we don't have a relationship anymore.

Like we're just Kaya's parents. And it feels very transactional and very like roommate type of a thing. And that's what made him nervous. Right. If we stick with this for too long, at what point can we come back from it? Right. So in that sense, it's good maybe to be aware. So you don't get into that routine, which is also, again, something that I'm sure

viewers and, you know, everyone watching had experienced something similar to that, you know? And it's hard. You really do have to make the time and, like, pay attention to that. And you guys are doing well in that area. Yes. So much better. We're not perfect yet, but it's... Date nights, shit like that.

Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Yeah? What is that? You excited about date nights? Yeah. It's like, okay.

The fact that I'm willing to like leave her and go on a date date. Yeah. You've come a long way. Yeah. Okay, good. It's hard for me to like leave her overnight for unless I have to. Right. But I'm very fine with letting her do her thing with her nanny.

I love that. I just had your bestie neon a couple weeks ago. You could tell even in, you know, that common section, people are, it's a poll. They're a polarizing couple. Yeah. Do you, did you get a, are you getting a read on why they're so polarizing either? You love them the way Zach's here, shout out to Zach. You and Zach love, love them so much.

And by the way, a lot of fans do too. And then there are people that are like, get them off the show. Yeah. I mean, I love them. I love both of them. But Nia, that's like, that's my girl. Yeah. How often do you hang out? I never, I know. How many times you've been in a house? How many times? So it's like so weird because watching the show back when I would say like no one believe me that I was like, but I don't see this behavior from Danny. I need people to understand like for the year prior I was pregnant the whole time. I was not going out. I was not going to bars or parties or anything like that. And when I would spend time with them, it was like at their house with the kids or at our house with kids or something. So I didn't witness the behavior when I was.

watched it back, I was, I was appalled the way he treated Nia. Yeah. Like I think, I still think there's something about Danny that is like extra, you know, he's the let's go guy. And I think just Danny as a person just rubs some people in our group the wrong way. And alcohol or no alcohol. And the audience. Yeah. Yeah. And I think, obviously, we know that alcohol raises that extra and it makes it turns into like being obnoxious. But watching the way he spoke to Nia was something that really cracked me. What's seen specifically? Multiple scenes.

Multiple scenes. Like, I get being in a TIF and I think it's brave to show that on camera and not be fake about it. But going after her the way that he did, every time he was frustrated about something else, it also pisses me up as their friend because I feel the need to, like, defend them to the audience because everyone would say, like, well, if this is how they are on camera, who knows what But it's like behind closed doors. And I'm like, but it's just not. But I don't condone any of Danny's behavior.

And I've told him that. Like, privately, I've had that conversation with him. And of course, we talk about a reunion. So people, like the group not liking him. Why do you think that, why do you think that makes him not like Nia? Because, like, I feel like you're grownups. You could separate. Be like, he's a dick, but we love her.

But that's not how people are behaving. Yeah. They are lumping them together. Most people on our show, like our friends, I think they do feel that way, but it is because Nia defends him so blindly, but it's like, guys, it's her husband. It's such a tough walk to walk because I would defend Luke to the death. Now, obviously, there are things I wouldn't stand by, but what I love about them, it's like, they're not airing their dirty laundry.

And I know we sign up for a show, and that's part of it. But just within their marriage and their relationship, that is something that I have been so guilty of in the past was like if my boyfriend was an ass, I wanted the whole world to know and see it. Like what I was going through. And it's like I would never do that to Luke. Yeah. So I think there's something very admirable about them having each other's backs as they should as a married couple for small children. Do you regret writing so hard this season after seeing what you saw back?

I mean, no, because I was doing what I knew and what I felt in the moment based on the information that I had. But how did everyone else see it and you didn't? Because you said you weren't going out. Yeah. I mean, even in where were we in San Diego when we had the big house. And then we had this little house in the back with the babies. And I rarely was at that house hanging out with anyone. So when people were telling you what happened, you kind of were like maybe it didn't happen that way.

If Lala was like, this is what happened. The Pagent Night. You just kind of thought they're exaggerating. Yeah. He wouldn't do that. And Nio wouldn't even, you said they don't air their dirty laundry, but would she come to you and be like, Danny was on one tonight? No, not during the season at all.

Not during the season. Have you talked to them after the season about that, about watching it back? Yeah, I mean, I talked to Danny before the reunion when we watched all of the, because we had to like binge watch so many episodes. And I called me actually, then he was on speakerphone. And I was like, I can't ride for you. when it comes to this stuff. Like, please don't think it's not,

it doesn't mean that I don't love you and care about you guys, but I have to be honest about how I feel. And this is, like, pretty messed up. Do you think he's going to do anything to change the behavior that we saw this season? I hope so. Yeah. I mean, I know he goes to therapy and they go to couples therapy. Yeah.

And they each do their own therapy. But, yeah, I would really hope so because it's not healthy for him. It's not healthy for the rest of us. But you don't think it's alcohol. No, I think. I think the Like the drinking problem That people are talking about

When you're drinking Correct exactly Like if you... Not that you're drinking, like the sneaking the drinks and stuff. I mean, but it's like he lied and then he lied to Zach. Yeah. I get if you want to lie to people who weren't your friends.

By the way, Zach, how couldn't you tell that he was lying? Because watching it, you could really tell that he was lying. Yeah. Do you know what I mean? Like in that moment in the store? When you were like you didn't drink that night and he was like, right. Like that right?

So Zach and you are very good friends with me and Danny. Zach used to be... I mean, he's still close with. Brittany. We are, we are right or die for Britney. Like literally. Did it break your heart to see her kind of cry over you a couple times this season? It was the worst. Yeah. And it's all going to be on the reunion. I mean, there are things I watch back from like, what did I just say? What do you feel bad about? In Mexico, sitting there with like, we were at that like lunch table and I was, Janet was like getting me worked up and then all of a sudden I'm pointing out three of my best closest friends and being like,

well, they, you know, I can't even remember. It wasn't even that I didn't say what I thought I was saying. Like the words in my head were like still, I guess, deflection because of Danny, but being like, everyone drinks. Like, who cares? But instead I said something like, who shouldn't be drinking or drinks too much. Yeah, who should, who should address. Yeah. It was just like, like, I don't feel that way about Brittany, Zach or Jasmine. Why in the hell would I try to really care that you said it, right? Not really. Yeah.

But then right away, Brittany literally was like, I'm going to cry. When I watched that scene, I called Zach and then I text Brittany and Jasmine separately. And I was just like in tears. Like, I'm so sorry because I don't feel this way about you. I don't want the world to feel this way about you. I'm not trying to put this on you. So why do you think that's what came out? What was the... I don't know. It was just like rage.

I just got so worked up and it was like... Do you think like in this season? It's not that I was willing to throw my friends under the bus, but in that moment when I'm watching it, I'm like, I would have just said or done anything to make this Danny Janet shit stop. I think for me the biggest thing in defending Danny, it was that until, probably until the season wrapped, I finally was able to articulate, like, what two things need to say separate. We have this stuff with Danny and Jasmine and Melissa that happened a few years ago that has blown up in our friend group because of the stuff that Janet has said, the word she chose to use. Then we have Danny who is hiding, drinking and being obnoxious when he's drunk.

And somehow, for me, it felt like those two things were blended. So it meant if Danny's an obnoxious drinker, he must be inappropriate toward women. Yeah. And because those things were meshed, I was always fighting tooth and nail to say, Jasmine and Melissa have asked for this to be done and over with. And I'm tired of people saying these really horrific things about Danny's character. So it's like that just because that's over here, this has to just be separate. So it almost made it impossible for me to say, yeah, he is an annoying drunk.

Because you didn't want that to mean, you thought that would mean that. That other stuff is true. Yeah. So that was really tough because I, looking back now that I've seen everything that I've seen and I've watched all of the scenes. Part two is true. Is correct. Yeah. However, Janet, you fucking, you can't stand her.

No. You know what I saw in your face? I could pause it. Like when she talks, immediately, Kristen, your face, scowls. Yeah. Like, she'll just be like, can I have a burger? And you know, and you're like, for she. Like, you scowl.

What? It's like her energy. It's not hatred. It's like, I don't hate her. Sorry, that sounded aggressive. I know. Whatever feelings you have towards her, do. It's not, you're not apathetic.

Let's put it down. way. There's no apathy yet. There's no apathy. You're not indifferent. It can't just be this Danny stuff. It's more stuff. No, it's so layered for so many years. And I've said all this on the show. Like, when we started filming season one, she became this like totally different person. And then over the last three, four years, I've seen zero growth or evolution from Janet, but I see a lot of changes. It's like, now she's this person. Now she's that person. Now she's dressed.

thing like this and now she's BFFs with that person or she hates this person. It's just so. But people are liking her by the way. Season, not the audience. I mean, like Michelle started connecting with her. Lala seems super connected with her. Like she is winning over the rest of the cast. Is she?

And she's good at that. Putting it on. She loves complimenting people to death or doing things for people. like favors. It's like kind of how she gains your trust, like not your trust, but like you get her to really liking you because

or sorry, you get to really liking her because she's constantly feeding your ego. Yeah. I mean if she was calling me her dream woman every day, I'd probably like, hey, I'd probably fucking come for a hang. Call me later. Let me know again. Me with Chili's. Yeah. And I don't, it's not even for the sake of the group because I think

that's what frustrates me to is everyone's just like, oh, even Zach, even Brittany. Like, Kristen, just, can you just try with her so the group isn't so divided all the time? And I'm like, number one, I don't have all this power to like divide our group. Yeah. I am in a place now where I can be around her. I don't want it. There's no going back for you for some reason.

Not right now. I mean, I never say never. But I just don't feel like she's going to add any value to my life right now. And my circle got so much smaller after I had Kaya. Yeah. I'm very choosy about who I, I bring into my life and bring her around my daughter. But what was the straw? Was it the Danny stuff or was there stuff

building up before? There was a lot building up. It was the year she spoke badly about Zach. I mean, there were even things on the show that were about me and like saying with my ex I remember, I forget it was like season one or two and she with my ex before Luke, Janet was, we were very close at that time. We were dare I say like almost best friends at that time. And then to hear her go on our show and say that it was my fault and like not his fault. And she knew what a disgusting relationship and breakup that was and tried to convince me to

break up with them for months. But I'm like, now you're going on our show and spreading bullshit lies. I just, I don't have the time for it. And if you think she's not a good person, like something in your, yeah. Yeah. I mean, that's a bold statement. I think there's good in everyone.

Yeah. I think it's more important to Janet. to be liked, adored to talk shit about people and get people to laugh. But like stuff like that is more important to her than actually being a loyal. What she did last season, like, do you think she thought people would like her for it? Yeah. Oh, you think she did? Oh, I think, I think season one, she came after me.

She absolutely thought that she was going to be the new, the Stasi or the whoever of our show. And that she was going to ice me out. And it completely backfired on her. It's like how our fans are. Our fans are like How I feel like with Luke Our fans are like I can talk shit about Kristen

Zach is who he is, says what he wants to say, does what he wants to do at all times. But yes, Nia would constantly be like, Is that your bestie? Is that your bestie? But I'm like, but everyone saw it. Like, who cares? Was she upset with you about that?

No. Okay. Because it's true. Yeah. But you don't do that. I absolutely did not. There were multiple times when we're filming this season

that I would go to Zach and Jasmine and Janet had that game night. And they're like, no, I don't think we're going to go. And I was like, please don't let it be on like my account. Like, it does not change our friendship

if you want, Brittany's friends with her. Right. It doesn't change my friendship with Britney. That is true. So that's a good point. What about Lala's theory? That by the way,

Lala's theory, I needed the fans help because I didn't get it at first. I like literally, I'm calling them the fans now, but I literally paused and was like, what did Lala say?

I don't get it. And then I got it that she was saying that she thinks that you won't go against Danny and Nia because people love them the season

that Janet was crusading against them. Basically, like, did you see that? that Lala thinks that like you're so anti-Janet because that was the fans because that was the popular when has that ever been my M. When is that ever on all of Vanderpump rules? Yeah. I've always been friends with like the underdog or people.

You dated James, yeah. Who? Shut up. I was friends with Laurel Lee for God's sake. Icon. That was not the popular vote. Did you see the? the meme that popped up for me recently with Laura Lee.

No. That Jacks is in like the sauna and she's on the other side of the window. And he goes, is this how it felt when you talk to your father? In prison. How fucking crazy were those first seasons, Kristen? You can't write things like that. You can't fucking write this. Also, because Zach is here, what is your advice to him rebatee?

He's, you know, his boyfriend really on the show wants a baby. Yes. Babies, yeah. Babies, a family. Zach is very conflicted. To tears, conflicted. And you had just had a baby at that time. So what was your advice to him?

I think they're going to figure it out. But it's such like a crossroads for the two of them. And I think they just said this on the show. But it's that Zach is like now considering that, which is beautiful and amazing. And if it ends up working out that way, I think they'll have a beautiful family. But I understand. Benji saying, well, number one, I don't want to wait like three years and then have you realize you don't want it. Also, we don't want Zach to like resent Benji or have any resentment

between the two of them if it works out if it doesn't work out because of the baby thing. And they have the green card on the. I think Zach would make, I mean, Benji's going to be an amazing father. Zach would make an amazing father. My daughter is obsessed with him. What advice do you give him? I mean, there's a lot of patience that is required, especially with the timeline if the sense of working out for them but going through surrogacy and marriage and figuring out Benji's immigration and it's going to be very heavy but I think if they at the end of the day if they end up both wanting it they're going to get through it with flying colors for sure but I just think they just need if they've really got to figure it out it's

yeah their own decision at the end of the day it's hard to give advice yeah I mean if they were like telling me they were going to go through the surrogacy they were about to have a baby then I would be as much help as I could be, but we don't know. I have to ask you about the drama, the scandal, the TMZ photos of Jacks and Lori KPR. First of all, I want to be clear, Lori KPR never did my PR. People thought she's done my PR in the past. She has not, I did feel weird posting it because, like, I know her and I felt bad. Then I thought I knew her too.

And Lori has been there for 10 years every step of the way. She knows every detail. She knows every text message, every, you know, asshole move that Jacks has made toward Brittany. And I think that's,

what makes me the most irritated is what I'm reading a lot, you know, online. Are people coming after Brittany like, well, didn't we hear about those two years ago? Like, who cares? He's single, whatever. Like, no, don't come after Brittany. Brittany is the victim here. Yeah. And honestly, who cares about Jacks? Like, this is so Jack's way of doing things. It's a lorry thing. It is. It is. Yeah. This was her paid professional. This was someone who was like family to her. That was currently a paid, like she was... Until that morning that we found out. Yeah.

Because when the rumors came out, I thought they stopped working together. No. This is fucking wild. By the way, after I posted that TMZ thing, so many people DMZ me from the Canada area being like, yeah, we've seen him hanging out here. Yeah, I'm sure. So people weren't sliding into Britney's DMs about it? She wouldn't have read it. She wouldn't have read it.

No. But, I mean, she's going to speak very soon. Brittany? Yeah, Brittany will be. And I want to let her do that. So I'm going to ever speak for her, but just as her best friend and being someone to support her, I just want it to be all about her and get her through this divorce. And she's cut ties, you know, with both of them.

It's just right now it has to be about Cruz and it has to be about getting everything that she can from this divorce. You guys picked up cameras for this. Dammies. Yeah. I mean, it was like, Brittany called a bunch of us like 9 o'clock in the morning, 9.30 in the morning. And we all went over there. And then she had my phone. I had her phone.

We were on the phone with a lot of different people. And then one of our producers called and said, like, ask Brittany if she cares if I throw a camera over there. And she's like, why not? Have you talked to Jacks recently? No. No, not since he were filming together. No. He's exiles.

He has texted me multiple times, stupid shit. Like, he'll send me, like, old photos. Like, look what I found. I just don't respond. It's what I tell everyone to do. Just, like, the best response is no response. He's looking for attention. Just do not communicate with him.

Yeah. Brittany has to. Yeah. And she does it as much as she has to. And that's it. She has no other relationship with him. Another thing is House of Sassie coming out. She was asked.

about if the third witch of WeHo would be joining at any point. No. I don't think she would, I feel, because her answer was that it's an exclusivity thing because you're with NBC. Right, right. That is not why. Why else? That's a very cute, campy answer, though. Good for her. No, I mean, we haven't, I haven't seen her spoken to her in two years. I mean, has Katie before she came on the show? Have I talked to Katie? No, but like Katie came on the show also after they haven't really been in touch. Right. But Katie's also Hartford's godmother.

They had more closeness. They had a falling out that I think they will discuss on the show. But Stasi and I didn't really have a falling out. We just kind of stopped talking. I saw her once when I was pregnant. We texted a couple of times and I haven't spoken to her sex. Do you romantic? Are you nostalgic about that era?

Like, oh, it was such a crazy but amazing time in my life. And they were two people that I considered my sisters. Right. So isn't, does that feel weird a little bit to not have that at all be? I think we're just so different. Yeah. I catch myself saying we're in like different places in our life and we're like, no, we're actually like pretty much in the exact same place.

Yeah. But I think it's just like we're, we hang out with very different groups of people. We're just not like minded. I don't think anymore. but I'm so proud of her. And so I think this. I'm excited for Katie, too. Are you, do you talk to Katie?

Yeah, we text. You do. I think that if you weren't on Bravo, you would get asked to come for like a thing. For the, for a thing. I think you would. I'm just saying. If she thought it would improve ratings for any reason.

No, we're not close. I'm friends with her. Like, we text here and there. I see her. Are you closer with Jesse? Yes. How wild is that? But Lacey's one of my closest friends.

By the way, that's wild. Yes. And Jesse and Luke are super close. Oh, they are. They're so different. Jesse's just a blast, though. He cracks me up. And he's not the douche that I used to know.

I had him on when really everyone hated him. I think people started kind of getting him more recently. But I was like, guys, I don't hate him. Like, I don't know what does. tell you. His duchiness is toned down. So now that the duchiness isn't in full effect, because we have Lacey, thank God, to put him in his place. So by the way, that's what people I think would want from Nia. Do you get what I mean? More like, because I agree with you, is she going to sell her husband out, turn on him? No. But at the same time, Lacey does it in this way of like,

don't speak about her like that. Don't, which is. But then obviously, the flip side is fans are like she hates him. Right. And they don't know her. Like I hope they get to know her like moving forward. But like she's so her personality and her huge sense of humor is so dry. And she loves her. She likes him all the time. She likes him.

Okay. But she's not with him for the show. And I think that's like the best kind of love and banter that you can have. By the way, I think that's why he's obsessed with her. Yeah. Like if we look at those moments, which are so sad when Michelle is so upset about. It's like heartbreaking. Every time I see Michelle and Jessie on camera, which makes me emotional.

I know. Yeah. There's something about them together. Their divorce scene when they pop the champagne. Like, I'm getting chills like a fucking loser. But like, I cried so hard. There's, you could just tell that the, it's real. You know what I mean?

Whatever's happening now is real. Yeah. When they're realizing the love that they had, it's not there anymore, but it's sad. Like, I feel like this is. such a beautiful kind of moment to witness. Yeah. I feel like you don't see that with divorces. It's either like super ugly or like.

Super amicable. Right. Or super amicable and there's no like tears. And here it's like there's something really emotional about watching them. And because they have a daughter together. Who is obviously a star. Stunning. Oh my God.

Oh my God. Oh my God. I love her. She's insane and she's so much fun and she's gorgeous. And she's good. She's both of them like together. Yes. Like literally like.

Mix, boom. Yeah. But she, so Dr. Dre. Dr. Dre. Did you meet him? No. I was asked that the other day and I'm like, the whole world would know if I met Dr. Dre. You would post a selfie? One million percent. Pinned on my grid. Come on. It's Dr. Dre. Yeah. Yeah. Have you asked her about it? I had one time right after it happened and she kind of gave me the same answer she was giving everyone. Oh, really? Yeah. And this was before she confirmed it publicly. So it was just like, I think I had like press coming up and I was like, hey, I know you don't want to talk with this. But I just, what do you want me to say? I need to say something.

And she said, just tell the truth. Like you found out like everyone else did online and blah, blah, blah. Well, Jesse's answer to it was funny. About the beats. I mean, whatever. I feel like, you know, that's what I'm saying about Jesse. It's like sometimes he has an opportunity to come off better. Do you know what I mean?

And then he'll like just say something like. but he is likable to me and that's the thing like Danny doesn't come off likable right Jesse could have because people are like Danny Jesse drinks or you know has done but there's something

but Jesse's like I drink I get drunk right when you call yourself out for who you are and own it and the things that are like not cool or douchey about you and you are willing to change yeah like that

is what makes someone like an attractive person yeah Like not physically hot, but just like anyone in our group or any of my close friends, as long as you just are who you are, but you correct the things about your work on them that aren't so great. Yeah. I agree with you where I hope now that Danny is going to move forward. So Nia is not carrying all this weight also. Yeah. And I hope.

I do know like when he watches back, he is not proud of himself. Well, can I just request that there isn't another season about. the Danny and the stuff. I would literally quit. That would fucking be the storyline. Every single one of us, we're like, I can't do this Danny Janet stuff. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

We can't do it. I can't talk about Danny's drinking ever again. I literally don't care. Were you happy that Lala joined? Yes. Yeah. I was very stoked. And we had not spoken.

I like your friendship, by the way. Yeah. I love Lala. You're good. Yes. We hadn't spoken in like a year and a half. And then we started speaking maybe like four or five months before filming. And she came and apologized.

You like have the history there. And you could tell that there is like. No, I think she's such a good addition to the show. But I like having her back in my life, especially as another mom friend. Right. And who lives close to me. And I will say like the scene where she comes over my house to talk to me about the Janet stuff, there's no better person to do that than Lala. Why do you, why do you say that?

I could like feel her energy. She didn't have to say a whole lot to, like, really make me realize that I didn't understand the weight of what she got through to you. Yeah, absolutely. It was just like, I know Alala's energy and I could tell that she was like, you really have to believe me. This isn't because Janet's my friend and you hate her and blah, blah, blah. It felt like she was looking out for Janet in that moment, but she was also looking out for you. Looking out for me. Yeah.

She's like, I don't want you to be on the wrong side of history because you're not willing to even listen or pay attention. Right. So deep. Reality TV, guys. So deep. It goes deep.
