This is your host, Amanda, looking like I just came from camp. Anyway, how's everybody doing? I hope you're all feeling good. My weather report is that it is, I think the post I saw described it best. Swamp-like weather in New York. Love to freaking hear it. Aside from that, what is up, you guys?

I have some news, which I shared, and I was overwhelmed by the support and the love I got from so many of you that I am officially the official, Can we say official again? I'm officially the official, permanent, forever host of Get Real on Hulu. It is a weekly talk show featuring Hulu stars and stands and pop culture conversations. And I couldn't be more excited. I got to do a few episodes kind of on the first run.

There were like different guest hosts. And I was one of those reoccurring guest hosts. And they made me the official permanent one. And it was honestly a dream come true. And for those asking, it's not a Lamanda situation. It films here in New York, which can be a more dream scenario. And it's just life completing and changing. Because for those who know me, know that I manifested this and that I,

having a talk show on my vision board, I always used to say like Chelsea lately vibes. And it totally gives that and feels like that. And it's just super exciting. So that airs every Thursday on Hulu, which is weird to say and to feel, but just so exciting. What else is new with everybody? You guys know I's so funny because I have been wanting to take him to see Spider-Man brand-new day. And he's so funny, you guys, because I took them to that Moana premiere, he is now like, is it famous people or not for famous people.

So I'm like, want to go to Spider-Man? He's like, no. And I'm like, that's weird. You're obsessed. And he's like thinking that every single thing will be like a premiere and like a carpet and like, I guess like kids, they don't like special treatment. You know what I mean? He just wants to go to the regular movies and I'm like, this is regular.

And he's just like not that into it. And I'm like, this is weird. So I feel like I need to show him. I need to force him again. Like I force him into things and then he's happy and show him like that. was a special occasion. And I guess he, like, had fun and was a core memory. But I think also, like, he just wants to, like, be regular.

Not giving Northwest at all, okay? And gives cool. Like, I love it. He's like, famous people? Not into it. I'm like, okay, cool, kid. And, but listen, of course, Spider-Man is just breaking the box office on their second week on Polymarket.

42% of people said it would cross 150 million, which I don't even know what that number means, but it's a lot. But there's so many of these movies coming out, they just announced Doomsday, Avengers Doomsday, and 91% of people think that Toby McGuire as Spider-Man will make an appearance. 88% of people in Polly Market think that Ryan Reynolds

will make an appearance as Deadpool. He did crash that. like event as Deadpool, which makes me think that I might be on the Ryan Reynolds trajectory here. Okay. But it does look like the Odyssey is going to rule the Oscars. 46% of people think that the Odyssey is going to win Oscars 2027 best picture. 12% think Dune Part 3, which hasn't come out yet, you guys. So how the hell are you thinking that?

I'm super excited about this guest. I've been wanting to chat with her for years. I would say two years to be exact because she changed the face and popularity of Love Island, USA. She definitely handset star of that show, exploded more than any other person that was ever on that show in popularity, in followers, and in life. And she's still in the relationship that she found on the show,

and they are thriving, and they are endgame. She refounded, which is a new word I learned from her, a new business venture. And honestly, she's down to earth. She's humble. She's banging. And it's Leah Keteb, everyone, from Love Island. I can't believe it's been two years since her season. And she really, again, changed, changed the landscape of that show when we had the most fun chat. So enjoy. Well, I'll start by saying that you smell amazing. Stop.

Swear. Stop. What scent is it? It's True Love's Cake, the new one by Skylar. Oh, yes, yes, yes. I love it. This is my child. like really and truly.

I'm proud of it. How do you, okay, so how do you describe a scent because I find it so hard? Really? I think like, yeah. I've obviously, so the one I'm wearing is gourmand. Okay. And that's like the like, it's like the food type sense. You know what I mean?

Like cake, donuts. Okay. Those type of sense. Like, for example, the one I'm wearing right now is caramelized pistachio, rose water has cake sense. Like, it's like that type of vibe. Like almond cake, you know. Sweet.

A little sweet? But it can also lay, like, like, gourmand, I guess, like, yes, most of the time, like, people do associate gourmand with, like, really sweet. I love sweet sense. It's my favorite. Would you know how to describe it before you got into this? Yeah. I always loved fragrance.

Okay. I've always loved, like, fragrance and body care and things like that. So that's, like, I feel like was just, like, my passion always. What kind of sense you hate? I don't have any that I like hate. I discovered yesterday that I hate, though, like lemon grass, essential oil, disgusting, grow up. Yeah. Okay.

Gross. I feel you. But I like earthy sense. Okay. But for my home, not for my body. Got you. Yeah. And what about like musky?

I like musky on men. On men. Yeah. Yeah, some of these like genderless sense are just not for me. I agree. I really, me personally, the sense that I love, I want to smell like edible. Like I want you to feel like you can take like a bite out of it. In a sexual way?

All of the above. Like literally. All of it. Wait, do you remember this perfume? Hypnotic poison? Have you ever smelled it? No. It's very, well, you are very young.

I'm like not, though. With 26 or seven? I'm turning 27 next month. And you feel like that's not young? Uh, kind of, yeah. I feel like I'm at that point where people are like, so you're going to get married? Like, you haven't kids yet? Well, but I feel like that's more because of your relationship.

I don't know. I feel like it's both, no. Well, Miguel's grandpa because he's 30. Well, he's 29, so he's pretty much 30 already. He's pretty much 60 at this point. I don't know. Wait, you're going to have to do something big for his 30th. I know.

And you know what? He was just saying, like, I don't want to celebrate it. Oh, that's the best. So anything you do will be a huge... Well, he just turned... Well, I guess just, but it was like in March was his birthday. So he like, it was kind of, like, recent. And you're, I feel like your love language is...

Would be gift-giving. I give... Yeah, I feel like I'm really good at giving gifts and picking them out. I'm a very sentimental person. Yeah. So I love doing things. I do like that. I'm trying to think he's like an acts of service kind of guy.

And what was, so what did you get him for his 29th? What did I get him for his 29th? Or do? No. No, I got him something. I have to remember. Oh, he wanted a mountain bike. That's what I got him.

Oh. Yeah. And you knew which one to pick out? Yes. Did you go together? He wanted it for so long. Oh, like a specific one. Yes, there was a specific mountain bike.

And he was like, I want, I want it. I want it. And he was like waiting because it was sold out. Oh, you got on a list or something? I got it. Yeah, I got it. You got it for him. Yeah.

You're a good girlfriend. You guys, Leah is here. I wanted you to come on the pod since you got off. Got off. I know. When did you, what was that two years now? Two years. Yeah.

Insane. Craziness. Does it feel like yesterday or does it feel like 100 years ago? Like both, to be honest. Sometimes I'm like, whoa. Time's going by really fast. And then sometimes I'm like, wow, this really feels like yesterday. But two years is a long time.

So tears is a long time. How is it feeling today being like kind of past it, but have done it? Do you look back? Because I just saw a clip of you today. That was so good. And it brought me back to like living that with you in summer of, I guess, 2024. If you come across clips or like those moments that you had that were iconic, what's your feeling toward it? Is it?

I love it. I think it's so funny. I think in the moment. like I was like, I wasn't even thinking of like iconic or like anything like that. But now when I look back at it, I'm like, oh my gosh. Like it's so funny. And I love that like people like received me well. What do you mean?

That's the fucking understatement of the century. People lost it for you. I know. I think some I still don't. I think I just I still don't grasp like how crazy it was because obviously I was inside. Right. But I think I didn't. see like the world with on social media.

I feel like there was like a moment where it happened. Do you know what I mean? Where everyone was like, whoa, wait, she's the real deal. Like people's princess, right?

All these things. And the faces you would make. No, it's crazy. Miguel always says like if there was a camera on me, 24-7 people would just have like a book of quotes all the time. The quotes and like the expression. Yeah.

It's just how I speak. Like if you know me, I speak very like odd. I'm always saying some weird shit like all the time. But where did it come from? Just me. It's from my soul. Like I feel like I've always been.

I'm also a triple Leo. So I feel like that plays into it too. What like moon rising. Yeah. But okay, your quotes and your sayings do they come from? No. It's just how my brain is.

I'm like literally it's just my brain. Wait, what's your number one quote that people like say to you? Well, I would probably say either the suck my dick, whatever you heard about me one, or they really left the overalls one. Say it.

Remind me. Oh, I forget how it starts. Oh, when he, like, what was it making fun of his overalls? You were like, what was it making fun of his overalls? I was like making fun that he was like still there after like he just put on a show. But I forget how it starts. It was like, oh, it was after that. He literally did his big one up there.

That was like a movie. And he stood up there and said, now you're sending three home. That one. Yeah. It's so long, too. I'm like, God. You're like, how did I have the energy? When I look at Love Island of you guys sleeping in that room, waking up together,

I'm thinking of like morning breath. Yeah. I like refused to turn over to Miguel. Okay, so you didn't. I would get the fuck up out that bed. Oh, you did? Yeah. Because people were kind of smooching in the morning.

They were. And I don't know why or how, but I literally was like, good morning. And I like hopped out of that bed and ran upstairs. And went to brush your teeth. Yeah. And went to get put a face. People went to go and eat breakfast, like, right out of bed. I'm like, don't you guys, like, brush your teeth first?

People do eat breakfast quick on these shows. They do. They don't brush their teeth before eating it. And I don't believe in that kind of stuff. Because you know what could happen? You could forget, I feel like, if you don't do it right away. Well, beyond that. Well, yes, that's disgusting.

But also, like, when you wake up, like, there's a bunch of bacteria that, like, sits on your tongue. So that's why you need to brush your teeth and scrape your tongue. Otherwise, you're just swallowing it back into, like, your body. Oh my God, a TikTok just popped up for me of this guy saying he won't hook up with a girl. Wait, that was you. That was me! That was you! No, I'm fucking dead.

I was like it popped up for me. He was sitting on our flight here and he was like, he was so rude and nasty. But you want to know what? I think he was an agent for someone. I think he was this agent. Who? The guy that was fighting Tom Brady right now? No.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. They were having public beef. Oh. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't think I'm on that side of TikTok. Oh, you're not on that one. No. No, but that's interesting that he, oh, okay.

Because he was talking about him nonstop. So I'm going to assume that was his agent. But was he saying that about himself with the tongue? No, he was talking about a girl. Like, he was like, if a girl doesn't scrape her tongue, like, I'm not like fucking touching her. And I'm like, how would you even know that? Like, do you make him? How would you know if she scraped her tongue one?

And as a dude, I feel like, how do you even know what tongue scraping is? What aside TikTok are you on? My boyfriend scrapes his tongue. You make him? Yeah, I do. Like, well, I don't, I don't make him, but it's like, I feel like I'm really big on, like, dental and oral hygiene. Yeah. I'm just, like, I feel like I'm, like, into, like, a hygiene routine.

But, like, he's always been really clean. So what's your morning routine? I want to know. I wake up. First thing I do is, like, feed the animals. Right. Yes. And then, well, it depends on who gets up first.

Well, you brush your teeth first, obviously. No, I, I don't. My animals are before my teeth. Stop. Yeah. Oh. So animals, it depends on who, like, is on animal duty. Like, I'll take the dog out and then Miguel will, like, chickens.

Like, you know, he'll, like, feed the cats. How many animals are there? So many. I don't even have a number anymore. I can probably try and think. There's, we have one dog. We're getting a foster this week, though. Two cats.

We have, like, over 10 chickens. You're obsessing. That's your, the chickens are the main event now. No, my turkeys are my main event and my dog. My dog's my baby. She's my best friend in the world. So four chickens, two turkeys? No, we have like 10 plus chickens.

I don't, I can't sit here and count. But we have two turkeys, like 10 plus chickens, two cats, my dog. We're getting another dog foster this week. We have like a pond. So we have fish, three horses, three pigs, a fluffy cow. And it's a fluffy cow. Like the Highland cows? Have you ever seen?

No. What? I need to say it's so cute. What's like to TikTok are you on? Not the farm one. I'm on farm talk. Yeah, they're on farm talk. Down.

Not like my entire thing is all chickens. Fluffy cow. Yes. And that's it? I think that's everyone. We have frogs as well. Wait, you and Miguel bought a house together? Yeah.

So you had to find a house that has a farm? Yeah. Well, we already. So like, I. already knew the area like I wanted us to be in because that's where my horse is. And so, and that's where my parents have lived. And I know like a lot of people thought that I lived with my parents, but I actually haven't lived with my parents since I was 18. I moved out when I was 18. And I've been in apartments ever since. I stayed at their house for like a few weeks when I got out

of the villa because someone found my apartment address and they put it online and people started coming to the door. So I stayed with them then, but I have not lived with them actually for a very long time. And I know they think that like Miguel was living there with them too, but like we were really only there for a few weeks. So yeah, I haven't lived with my parents since I was 18. So we can clear that up. Why did people think that? Because they leaked my parents address online. They also leaked your parents address. Is this fans that loved you? I don't know because they leaked my parents address when I was on the show. I remember coming out. And my family telling me that, like, they found my parents' address and they were, like,

basically making it like this whole thing. And, like, they said, like, they were basically trying to say that, like, I grew up. Super well. Yeah. And I didn't. That's another thing. I did not. My parents, we only moved into that house in, I think, 2021. And when I say we, it's them. Well, I also, I don't think it's negative. I just think it's false because my parents both moved here when they were, like, in their 20s. And they didn't even speak English. So we did not, they worked really hard to get to where they're at. And so I find it also kind of like, I don't know, like my parents didn't grow up rich. Like they worked hard. As fuck. They came here. He's a CFO and my mom is a microbiologist and she owns her own business. So they worked hard. As fuck. Like they had to learn English. They were both dishwashers when they got here.

You said your first language was. Farsi. So maybe that's where you get the quotes from and you're translating them. I think like Persian women are just so iconic. Like if you meet like a Persian woman, like you'll be like, wow. I feel like I've just speak a certain way. It's like really. But sometimes I feel like bilingual people will like translate stuff. Do you get what I mean?

I get what you mean. But I think I just literally speak like this. I'm like trying to find a reason. You're like, no. It's my sense of humor. Like I think it's just like how I am. Well, okay. So let's.

So people. leaked the address, says, which is horrible. Yes, I was so upset. Because I was like, I don't even live at my parents' house. So, like, I don't know. And then people would come to my parents' house store. Seriously? Yeah.

To what? To take a picture. Knock, knock. Can I get a picture? Yes. That literally has happened. And I took one of the pictures and then I was like, no, this is kind of weird. This is weird.

Even when I would be with my horse. That is a boundary to not cross if ever I heard of a boundary. Yeah. So I was like a little. Like, okay, now it's getting a little weird because I like, this isn't even my house and like it's my family's house. And like we have our some of my family dogs there. Like it's just like, I don't know. I was like, this is not right.

How are you going to protect your, your current house from from people finding out? I can't. There's no way. Like, you know how the people just post everyone's. I feel like address is online. Like there's really nothing I can do. Our house is like duplicate it though. Okay.

So like the community community. Okay. And then also our house has a gate. And we're like pretty set back. No. Okay. We're like super set back. And also the security there is like very on it.

So that's important. Yeah. I think when they when I first got out like I don't think they realized like the scope of what was going on. I still don't. I'm like, you were like I need a lot of security. Well, not even.

I just was like I just didn't think that people were going to come to the damn door. Like I'm like and you know, I mean it's okay. I think. now, though, obviously, it's, like, people will say hi, like, when I'm walking. I'm super happy with that. Well, your publicist was saying that, like, she tried to go somewhere with you yesterday, and she's like, it's crazy still. It's, yeah, it's beautiful.

I mean, I love everyone, like, that says hi to me so much. It's, like, still, like, unreal to me, honestly, unreal. Well, I also saw somewhere that, like, in Love Island castings, they have to tell people, like, you're not going to be Leah. It's crazy. Like that can't be Don't get your hopes up basically. Yeah.

Because there's a new fucking standard Because when you went on the show, people weren't getting super big from it. The show got big from our season. From your season. Yeah. So when you went on it, what was your motivator like to find?

I was like, let's just, I'm like, I'm having fun. I hadn't had sex in like two years. I was like, I'm ready to just get the fuck up out of there. Wait, why didn't you have sex in two years? Because I just didn't want. Okay, so you didn't want to. I feel like I was in a place in my life where I was like, I'm really over men. And I just was like, why am I going to keep like ruining my body and letting them have like the time of their life?

Take my flower. And just, no. So I'm over it. I'm super over it. Yeah. But then Love Island came and you were like, I'm back in business. Yeah, but I wasn't like, I didn't think I was going to like have sex with anyone. I'm not, I'm not, yeah, that's not my vibe.

Like I'm not like a crazy sexual person. But I was like, I think I was like, I'm bored this summer. I'm no plans. Like, let me just. Did you think no one would see it? Was that in the back of your mind? Yeah, totally. That like you're doing this.

Yeah, I thought I was going to come back home like normal, like all as well. Stop. just continue on with my days. I was like, it's a free trip to Fiji. And I hadn't gotten on a plane in like four years. I didn't go. I didn't go. I was just doing school and work.

What was your job before you went? Medical device sales. And I was in school for, yeah, for public health. So people that were assuming things about your family would probably be like she didn't even have to work. But you were working. No, I've had a job since I was literally 15. I've been working. My parents, I was in an apartment.

Like, I paid for that. There was not, I did not have any of the stuff that I have today. Like they always raised you to like work and like earn your own money. Very much so. So when you get on Love Island, do you take a break from the medical sales? Do you say your back? Yeah. No, yeah.

You have to. Obviously, I can't be like online job. Yeah. I thought it was going back though. I thought I was going back to my normal. I thought I was going back to like my classes, thought I was going back to all of the above. Then you come out with how many millions of followers?

Oh my gosh. I don't even remember at that time. I think it was for sure a million. It was because I remember they said I was the first Islander in like history to come out or to get hit a million before the show ended. Isn't that like such a not I'm not that's how I don't mean to sound like shallow. Like isn't that such a. a badge of honor, but it is crazy that not single-handedly, because I definitely want to give credit to

the other islanders, but there was something about you that changed the show. It's, it's an honor. I just feel really blessed that people connected with me so much that, like, the way they did. Did that always happen in your life where people were, like, drawn to you? I think so. I also think I'm such, like, a people person. And I just, like, love people. Like, I really, I'm like, I really love like life. You know what I mean? Like love animals. I love talking to people.

Like I'm all, I'm that person that like I'll literally like sit on the street and like talk to someone. Yeah. You were a different, like different vibe, I feel like than than the people that usually come to the villa. And I think that was a big, a big part of why people were like at first like wait. And then they were like, oh, like we get it.

Because it was different to like emote the way you did. say what you think and the way you did. Yeah. And like just be yourself. Yes. And have yourself be such an array of things like total hot girl, but still quirky, right? Yeah. And still like has these things that she says that are crazy.

But you were so good. You were so good. You came up. You came out. Probably everyone wanted a piece of you. Like probably your inbox was like. Yeah. It's crazy.

Agents, managers, publicists, brand deals. How did you navigate it? Were you overwhelmed as fuck? It was overwhelming, but I also was someone that, like, I didn't want, and I am still to this day, like, I will never take a brand deal or something like that just for money. Like, it's just not the type of person I am. I understand my platform. And I also understand that, like, what I'm promoting, people are seeing it.

So I really don't promote anything unless it's, like, something that I personally love and use. So you're saying no to a lot of shit, basically. I've said no to a lot of shit. And to a lot of money, probably. Yeah, but I just don't care. Like, I feel like my morals are always above a lot of that. I've said no to a lot of things. We'll be right back after the break.

And I also think that everyone should feel that way because it's like,

I feel like if people do not have respect for animals or like elderly people, then I just think something's wrong with them. Fundamentally. There's respect, Leah, and there's the canoodling with the turkey. Yeah. Do you know what I mean? Not everyone's going to do that with the turkey. Right. That's totally okay. Yeah. But I think the people that are like, oh, or like the people that comment and they're like, that's my sandwich. I'm like, you're weird. You get that? Yeah. Like some of the...

Wait, are you... It's like the... Vegan or vegetarian? I'm vegetarian. I haven't eaten meat in almost 14 years now. Yeah. Does Miguel? Yeah, he eats meat.

I don't care. You don't care? No, I'm like not that kind of person. Are you ever craving? No. No. Even when I ate meat, I just thought it was disgusting. Disgusting.

The chicken. And now that I own chickens, I'm like, they're so dirty. I don't know how people eat it. It is so nasty. I can't even... And I, the thing is... too. I'm like I, our chickens are dirty and they are in a very

clean environment and we take care of them. So, well, I can't imagine the poor chickens that are in like these slaughterhouses. I can't imagine what the fuck people are eating. I'm not going to lie. Because chickens will eat anything. They will eat each other if one of them dies.

Ew. Yeah. It's really nasty. You're going to make me vegetarian. No. No. How do you keep up with the protein craze? Are you eating a lot of cottage cheese? I, not really. I feel like I'm like, I, my blood tests are all really great. Like I, people would think that I'm like anemic or whatever and like low on iron, that type of shit. But like no, I feel like I have a really, since I've been doing it for so long, I think I just know what I need. How to do it. Yeah.

I'm still on the turkeys because I, I love animals, but with birds or something about being flapped in the face. Oh. Yeah. That I don't think I could personally. The turkeys are really sweet, but my rooster is like hell on earth. Do you let the turkeys roam in your house? Sometimes. Yeah. Yeah. I need to get them like diapers, though, because birds do use the bathroom a lot, like a lot, like a lot.

But are there bird diapers? Yes. People let their chickens roam in the house. But our chickens are not, we raise them like really socially. Like, but they're just not. Our turkeys though are like, she'll crumb crawl into my life. like a baby. Okay, so you wake up, you feed all the different animals.

Yes. With all the foods that they eat, whoever, each animal eats something different, I assume. Yes, they do. The turkeys and the chickens all eat the same thing. Okay. Worms? Well, they have like a feed. Worms are like a treat.

Oh, okay. Worms are like treats. And then, like, obviously, like our dog will have, like, her dog food. Everyone eats something different. And then you start your morning. And then I start my morning and then like shower, brush my teeth, get ready for the day, put my clothes on upstairs. And then day is started. You're very into vlogging lately, right? I've been trying. What in you made you want to commit to the vlogging thing? So I think at first I was really like good about it and like really on it. And then gradually I was like, fuck, I'm busy as fuck. And like I was having a little trouble like juggling it. I think now I'm like slowly getting back into like vlogging and like being back on YouTube and like things like that. but it's it's a balance for sure, especially now with like Skyler and all of that too. So it's like I'm just trying to figure out how everything fits everywhere. But your day sounds like it's like super normal, right? Super normal.

Yeah. Unless you have like an event or a premiere. But even then, like we don't have people like that take care of our animals. We do not have like assistance. Like we are very much so like we don't have like a house manager, none of that. Like we are the ones, we are the ones putting our laundry away. We are the ones like unpacking when we get home. We're the ones cleaning our cats litter box and their ass.

Like we are literally. Do you think people assume that you do have like all the, like a lot of help? A lot of people like are always like who is taking care of all of these animals. And it's like L and I. Oh, they get worried. Like they're. No, I think just like they just are curious. Because I think they think like maybe it's just like a petting zoo type stitch.

And then we go and like, say. our ass down while someone else is cleaning and taking care of them. But it's like, no, these are really like our babies. Like my turkeys, I hand raised those turkeys. Like those are my babies. Those turkeys. They mean the world to me. And the dog that you have, is that the one you were saying, was reactive?

Yes. And Miguel, what, did something for two years to get him to be okay with him? Yeah, they like really built. Why worked with a trainer before all of this. with just helping my dog's reactivity. And so I kind of knew the steps to take on their relationship. And so they were both really receptive and just so amazing. And now they're like besties.

Oh, really? Yeah. And my dog is like my world. She is my everything. How old is she? She's seven. Oh. Yeah.

She is more shady. Did you adopt her? Yeah. She was my first foster ever and my only foster fail. So she's a pit bull and a husky man. And now you're fostering again. Yeah. Yeah, but I've fostered like hundreds.

Okay. Oh, yeah. I'm like a foster. That's so sweet of you. I love fostering. You're probably approved right away. They don't even have to check. Well, I work with a bunch of rescues.

They already, I've worked with them since I was like a kid. The second I turned 18 is when you can legally start fostering, so that's when I started. When did the obsession with animals begin? Since I was a kid. Oh, really? Yeah, I've loved them like forever. And is your whole family the same way? No, my mom is, was so like, since they were raised.

in Iran and it's a totally different like culture for them there. Like animals aren't like loved the way they are here. So my mom was pretty scared of animals, especially dogs. Did she come around? Yeah. Okay. Obsessed with my dog. Obsessed.

We have, we've had a bunch of, we've had three golden retrievers in this life. Two of them have passed away. We still have one of them. We have a corgi. He's 13. And then I got blue and blue is seven. But my mom is obsessed. with Blue. Because Blue is just, she's such a human. Like, she is so sweet. Like, she'll greet you at the door. If you're crying, she'll come sit on your lap. Like, she is a human. Like, she's just the best companion. So what was the reactive part? Where should get upset? It's just to strangers. Oh, to strangers. Yes. Okay. So, like, people that did not grow up, that she did not grow up with, she is very weary of. And also, like, she's very pretty pretty.

protective of our home. So that's a struggle when people come over and things like that. So I just put her away, though, because I also know, like, a lot of people don't like dogs and I don't want to stress Blue out and I don't want to stress the people out. So when people come over, like when we have like our friends over, Blue is like chilling in our bedroom watching SpongeBob vibing. Love, she loves SpongeBob. We put on TV for her. Yes. We put on TV for our cats. Our animals live very. luxury as like actually. They get screen time. Our turkeys have like a pool and so do the chickens.

They literally have like a life of luxury. They're living the life. Yeah. So I want to go back to like you as a kid loving animals, but did you grow up like loving TV, uh, entertainment? Did you ever think I want to be in Hollywood? Never. Really?

Never thought I was going to do. I wanted to do something in healthcare. I wanted to help people. I knew whatever I ended up doing. At first I wanted to be a vet, but I physically like can't take like, I don't think I would be able to like cut an animal. I just don't think I could have done it.

So it just was I couldn't have done it. But like I knew whatever I wanted to do. I wanted to help someone or something. So that's where my brain was. not at all like ever model no no fuck no like any of that no that no that wasn't even like even before love island like i would literally post like a thirst trap to like get the attention of the guy i liked at the times thing and then like disappear for like three months on social media yeah like that's it i didn't i was not making content like i was not so that aligns like more for me even as to why people fell in

love with you because I feel like people can sense that sort of thing. You know what I mean? No, I get it. Even though like we said, your season, I feel like season since yours, maybe people want the Leah thing to happen to them. Yeah. So it's different. Your season, I do feel like people came in not thinking anything.

Yeah, all of us were just like so like willy-nilly. Right. But you didn't even want this life that kind of. happened to you? I, yeah. I was super peaceful, like, doing what I was doing, but I'm also so, I think that everyone, I'm such like a, everything happens for a reason type of person. And, like, I feel like I am exactly where I need to be. And I think I'm like with who I'm exactly who I need to be with. And I feel like very fulfilled. I think I'm exactly where I need to be. Well, tell me a little bit about your relationship aside from him dragging you to the job.

Have you talked to him since the show? Well, we hung out, like, at that universal thing and, like, all of that. And we, like, our whole, like, season went to universal. And then I think the last time was that time that we saw each other and spoke. Is it awkward or is it fine? Well, I just haven't seen him. Yeah. But, like, no, I don't think it's awkward.

And I'm honestly really like, I don't think he's a bad person. Yeah. Like, I don't hate, I don't hate anyone. Like, and I actually am like really happy for him and like proud and like. Because he's doing so well. Yeah. Like I don't feel. And I also think it's so crazy that people hold on to these moments so deeply that it's like, guys, this was two years ago.

Like, and it was like really not. And it was in this grand scheme of things. What a week? It was a week. A week. A week. Imagine if I was holding on to a week of their lives. I'm like, guys.

Why people still. Yeah. Like, I'll still see like edits of us and like this and then be like, oh, some people are like, you should leave Miguel. And I'm like, guys, guys, we're losing the fucking plot here. No, no, no. A week is a week two years ago. I don't know what they would have reacted to my other things because oh my God.

Anyways, but like I just think it's not. It was great TV. Let's put it that way. Yeah, great TV. It is part of your journey of what got you here. And, you know, he's doing really well and you're doing really well. Yeah. You're saying that you're not one of those girls that's like, let's get married.

But like, is that on your vision board? Yeah. No, I do want to get married. I'm just not someone that like, I don't want like a date or something. You want it to be a surprise? Yeah. And also I'm like, I just feel like when you, you know that like saying when it's like you tell God your plans and he laughs. Yeah, of course.

It's like that type of thing. So I'm like, let things happen as they should. I'm not someone that's like, oh my gosh, if we're not married by this date, then we're done. But does it scare you at all that like he is kind of your first relationship and that it might be going in that direction? No, he knows when I want to get married, though. Like he knows my like, you're like there's not a date, but there's a date. Wait, is it by 30? Yeah.

Okay. Yeah. Okay. I think ideally, like, that's probably my list. latest. Okay. Like latest I would want to be married. Uh-huh. Because I want to have kids too. Yeah, because I mean, you're so maternal, like, the way you are with your animals. So I'm like, I do. I want to have kids and I don't want just like one kid. So I think like probably like I would prefer to be married like before or by. Yeah. But I don't have like a specific date that I'm like,

oh my God, if I'm not married by this. I don't care. But it does it, does it scare you at all that it's heading in that serious of a direction. So. I feel like we're already married. Yeah. We have a house together. We basically have kids already. Like we have,

we already have like our lives together. I feel married. Isn't I love it? Yeah. I feel like I've always been such a lover girl. Yeah. My heart is really happy. Like I am such like a my man, my man type of person.

Does he like this life? Like the the glam, the going out, the, the, the kind of the. the fancy side of it. I think we both, I will say, probably prefer our farm life. Yeah?

But I think we have a really good balance. Like, I mean, we've been here in New York for a week now and we're like, oh, he came with you? Yeah, he, like, did he did something with Calvin Klein and he had like his own work here, so.

Because he was a model. Yeah. He is a model. Yeah, he was a model and he was an actor. He was in like Ted Laso and stuff before the show. Wait, what do you mean before? Yeah, before the show. Season one?

I don't know what season. Because I've actually never watched it. I should watch it now. Wait, I watched it. I'm trying to remember. Yeah. I need to go back and watch it. We need to go back and find Miguel.

Is he still trying to do that kind of stuff? Yeah, he's been doing a lot. He just had to shave his face last week for an audition. And then now it's growing back. But did you not like it? Do you say what he just looked so young? He looked like a baby. I like that kind of when he's like, scrappy and cold, you know?

Tell me about how you feel when. girls that are like, I don't know, a New York City girl or a West Hollywood girl is like, my dream is to live on a farm and like have animals. Kind of like it became something to aspire to whether or not you kind of grew up the way you did loving it. Does that give you the ick? No. Do you feel like that's pick me?

No. I think if people have that passion, then I think why not? I think though if a lot of people ask me the question of, is it a lot of work? Yes. Right. It's not the picks. That's the thing. No.

You're not just going for the cowboy boots and the picks. No. Yeah. That is the as fancy as it gets. The rest of it is like poop. A lot of it. It is a lot of time. You spend so much time with these animals.

So I will say like, if. If you do not have the passion for it, I think it can very quickly become something. That's how people give animals away. They get something because they want to take pictures with it and they think that it's going to be cute and fun and this and that. And then lo and behold, they're like, oh, fuck, it actually needs to, like, go outside and, like, use the bathroom. It just, like, is another reason why people love you. Because when I'm thinking about it right now, like, you do the vlogs or the day in the life and we see the farm, but it's very much not. sexy picks with the animals. You know what you mean?

No. That is not your vibe. It's not. And we see like horse girls on TikTok and that is the vibe. It's like, get ready with me for a day with my horse and it's all about the like. I know when people are like in a bikini on their horse, I'm like, I know that shit itches. I know it does. Because I've tried. I know. Yeah. So I love that about you. And I feel like that's why, you know, you have such a big audience and people love you. It's because like it's real. The animals are like my pure part. Yeah. I'm not trying to have my tits out in front of them. They don't need to see that. Yeah. No, I love that.

I love that. Let's talk about Skyler. Skylar. Skylar. Yes. I was making it more fancy. I was like Skylar. Because I love the smell. Yes. And I want to know how you decided because I remember when the news came out, how, because I'm sure you had like we said, so many brands coming at you, so many opportunity is you refounded the brand in July of last year. Yeah. So how does this come about? Did you know of them before were you a fan of the brand? So it came about because I was such a big fan before any of this and I already knew the brand. So when I got out of the show and people were asking because they saw me putting perfume on in the like villa like they saw a bunch of clips. So they asked me to make like a vlog of like my fave perfumes, like which ones I recommend. And so that was one of them.

It was Skyler Vanilla Sky because that was one of the ones that I was wearing a bunch in the villa and even before that. And so Skyler saw that video. And from there, they asked him meet. And then they were telling me basically like, you know, our founders stepped down. We don't have anyone right now. the company is up for grabs. Like we need somebody to come in and just reinvent the whole thing. And you would be perfect for it. And I thought that it would be so perfect because I was already talking about having my own brand with my team. Because when I came out, I was like, my shower routine was like super everywhere.

It was like very viral. And I really love the beauty space. So I knew some, I wanted something somewhere. and I love fragrance. And so I was like, this is perfect. It literally felt like everything. Yes, exactly. Like it's just all aligned.

But at the same time, they're like, be our new founder. Yeah. And how do you take that on? Like, that's a little stressful because it's not just a brand deal. You're not just saying, hey guys. Yeah. So how much responsibility do you have? A lot.

Everything goes through me. Like every lot. It's literally like. I'm the founder basically. Like it's re-founded and it's mine now. So it's all through me and everything down to packaging, marketing. I see everything. Yeah.

Did you realize what you were taking on when you said yes to this? No, but I'm, I love it. Like, it's a lot of work, but I love it. I wouldn't have it any other way. And I'm very much so like a creative person. and I love to have, I love being busy. Yeah.

So I think it's perfect. It's amazing. Also, I have to say there, I was shocked because I feel like I didn't know this, that perfume was such a, tell me if I'm wrong, but like I feel like it's something that people find it easy to click on. Yeah.

Like to purchase. Do you know what I mean? You know, yes and no. I think for perfume, since it's not something that you can smell, through the screen. It makes it a little difficult. It's different than like a lip liner where like you see it.

And it's like, you know, you can see it with the shade and you're like, you're like, yes, let me buy it. So I actually find it a little more difficult. That's why when you see people in the fragrance industry, you really want to be able to describe the scent a lot more. Like that's why you're kind of, that's why they started showing like food examples, like when they're promoting. Like they want it to be sensory.

But at the same time. I'm telling you, I posted this, which I'm sure you know, because you do this and everyone wants what you have. But I posted the other week this story of like, because I went into this coffee shop and some girl was like, you smell so good. And she was just like saying that to me. Like a stranger didn't know me,

which is like, you smell so good. And it felt like such a compliment. It's such a compliment. So I just posted that. I was like, the biggest compliment you can get is that you smell good. And people were like, well, perfume, oh, perfume, rap perfume.

Oh, yeah. And no one asked me to describe it. They just wanted the perfume because it, I said that it smells good. So I feel like people, like that's something people want. You want to smell good. Oh, yeah. And I think again, that's the way if you like you market it, I guess or like how you word it. Yeah.

It's like it's really important. Yeah. So yeah. But it is crazy because in that sense, yeah, we actually, that is a problem in like the fragrance industry because it's like you can't really, you can't, you can't, you don't see it. It's not visual. It's something that you have to literally smell yourself. And obviously, like, scent is so personal. Yeah, but we also have a scent club. So it's basically where you can subscribe and you get a different fragrance every single month from our brand Skyler. And it's every month is a different fragrance family. Like every like one month, it'll be like citrus. One month, it'll be woody. One month it'll be sweet, you know. So that's a really amazing. way to build your portfolio, but also figure out what you like. Yes, figure out what you like. Do you ever mix?

Because I feel like some people mix. Yeah, I love layering. Okay. Layering. You do. Love. Layering. Layering.

I have a bunch of videos. Oh, I was going to say you need to make a layering video. Oh, you have them. You got to tune in. I have a bunch. I will find those. What about the stolen truck drama that happened? That was insane.

I know when people were like, this is such a PR. Oh, who thought it was PR? Oh, please. We are like actively working with the fucking police right now. So tell us what happened. Yeah. A truck got a bunch of our perfumes got stolen and it got rerouted. He got a call.

They were like, hey, can you please drop it to this warehouse instead? He said yes. He drops it off at the warehouse. Our actual team calls, hey, we haven't gotten the package yet. oh man, I dropped it off. Can you send us the address? Completely different address. But the time they get to the actual address, everything's gone.

So this was a thought out crime. Yeah. But Sephora said that this actually happens. Like this has happened to a few brands before. They were like, oh, it happened to Lemmy, I think. I remember. It happened to Lemmy. Yeah.

And they were selling our. And then we went online. And I know that the people who are selling it know what they're, I think it's like they. kind of have a deal with these people or something because they were selling my perfumes with skims stolen skims bras. And they were selling the skims bras for like $15. Where do they sell it on like what website? There was one called whatnot. Like weird websites. Yeah, but even on D-pop. They had like so. So you didn't recover the

no, no, no. No, we had to literally pause production on our scent screen and our tanning. oils that were dropping, we had to produce all of the bottles we needed for Sephora for our deadline. And then we had to, that's why everyone was like, why? Because we had our sunscreen dropping our suncare line, dropping that same kind of time frame. How much it just was a product was on the truck? A lot. Yeah. Wow. Like a lot. How does that work? Like it's insured. I don't know if I'm like legally allowed to say how much, but like a lot. So that's like it's a big fucking deal. Yeah. It's insured. Yeah. It's a big deal. So we had to, we've worked, we're working through insurance.

So they had the number of the truck guy to like call him? Yeah. Or like, can you sue the truck guy? Is it his fault? No, I don't think it's his fault. Like he wasn't involved in it. I don't think he was involved in it. I don't think he was involved in it.

That's scary. But I think, I don't know how they intercepted the, the route. I really don't. I don't know how they got his number. How do you prevent this from happening again? I guess, well, they, People were saying like either like use the same trucking person every single time. And also tell them now you know what you're like literally no matter what like do not reroute this shit.

I don't know. It's just such a thing that it's like you never expect it. You know what I mean? And like when it happens, you're just like what the hell? So people like on TikTok thought it was a. Some people were commenting in there like this is such like a bad PR. I was like, it would have done something more fun. I was going to do bad PR.

Yeah. How do you deal with, I know you get so much love, but how do you deal with any like annoying, negative? Sometimes for me, I think people forget that like I did not grow up like in the spotlight. I'm not someone that had a social media presence before all of this. And like I am someone that like I like if someone says something false about me, like of course like I'm going to want to. You want to comment back. Yeah. Yes, I've seen that you do that.

So I'm like I didn't, I just, I'm, I'm a normal human being. Yeah. Like the same way that like the people commenting. Yeah. Our normal human being. Yeah. Me commenting back, I am a human being as well. Right.

Now I'm like a little less like whatever. Yeah. But I think at the time it's a little. I think people also don't realize how intense the fan base for Love Island is. Yeah. Like, these people are like really like, like, they'll go in on you for like ever. Like the line between love and hate, I feel like gets blurry. Like they could love you so much that I feel like they could tart.

You know what I mean? I think that's also just like the internet. It's the internet. I think people just are so like, I don't know what it is. I don't know what it is. But it's just exhausting. Yeah. And yeah, I think for me now I'm like, no, I'm not writing paragraphs.

to anyone. Honestly, I'm at this point in my life where I'm like, please, I did it, believe it, whatever. I don't give a fuck. Like, I'm not going to go back and forth, like, fucking, like, defending my honor because I feel like at this point, people should know who I am. And if you don't, then I guess it is what it is. So, like, she got them and not, like, she went through his phone. So, like, legally you can't post it. Also, Janaya's just, like, such a sweet person.

Well, he's accusing her of. Yeah, he's just a stupid piece of shit, though. So I feel like it just doesn't make sense. And he's like, he's just lying, literally lying. And then saying, like, God sees all. So that's why I'm just like, oh, my God. Did you like him in the villa? No.

You never liked him. No. Really? And Janay knew that. And she knew that. Are you like, did you ever, I told you so vibes? Never. I'm not an I told you so person because I've had my moments of such so many times.

So no, I'm not an I told you so person. It's just like a fuck him. How is she doing? Because if my girls like it, I love it. Yeah. But like at the time it's like, she knew like that. Yeah, we did not. We thought he was weird.

Yeah. And not in like a, like a personality type of way, in like a, his intentions type of way. Like, you could kind of see certain things. Do you think that he would just didn't actually have feelings for her? Yeah. I mean, there was, yeah, it's all in the text. He was, yeah, she, yeah, there was.
