Starting point is 00:00:00 The following podcast is a dear media production. Welcome back to the Not Skinny Bonafat podcast. I'm your host, Amanda Hirsch, and I still can't believe that I get to chat with some of my favorite stars from my very own podcast, where you'll feel like you're just talking shit with your best friends in your living room. Oh my God, here we go. You guys, it is early in the morning for those glasses, but we don't care. We love them.
Starting point is 00:00:34 What's time? What is time? And the tie? Time is all the essence. No, I literally can with you. Time in the time. You are full, full vibing. What?
Starting point is 00:00:44 What's in the shot? What's happening? Oh, we need your voice. I mean, it's deep, but we still need it. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the countess speaking. Damn. Good morning. Tell me the vibes.
Starting point is 00:00:53 Tell me why you're so high on life right now this morning. Is it Sam Smith? Yes. Oh, it's Sam Smith. It is. What happened that was so excited? with him last night. You know, my promoter in England is called Glenn.
Starting point is 00:01:05 And Glenn said to me, oh, you're going to see Sam Smith? I said, yes, I'm going to God's Love We Deliver, which is one of the charities I love and support for years. And he goes, we'll say hello for me because we're besties. Yeah. So you took that assignment. I did. And I saw him and I said, and Glenn told him I would be there.
Starting point is 00:01:24 Expect the countess. He did. And he's so lovely. And, you know, I walked in, I saw him, and I said, hi, from Glenn. And he goes, Luanne. And I was standing next to end of winter when that happened. Yeah. And she doesn't know me.
Starting point is 00:01:40 Well, kind of. She does. Are we sure that she doesn't want? I don't know. Probably not. Well, I'm sure she might know who I am, but she does not expect that I'm friends with Sam Smith. Right.
Starting point is 00:01:51 Does she? Oh, so it's a good look. Yeah, so it's a good look. But guess what happened naturally, which is why I love. Yeah. Have it naturally through my promoter in England, which I'm touring right now. I'm going to England in 2025, doing a lot of shows there and Australia. So I'm really happy about that.
Starting point is 00:02:09 So you're like, why are you so happy? I'm like, well, because life is good. Because the Mary. I drink out of plastic, too. Okay. It's okay, my daughter. I know. Listen, you guys, microplastics are not a good thing.
Starting point is 00:02:21 No. Everyone try to not. And don't warm up food in a microwave. I know. Can you just, so I have a new baby and I never. with my first baby, I only breastfed, so I didn't know bottles. Now I'm, like, kind of doing the bottles as well. And, like, heating up that plastic bottle. How long did you breastfeed for? Over two years. What? The first baby. Oh, my God. With teeth? I know. That's weird. I mean,
Starting point is 00:02:42 at that point, they're, like, doing it for comfort, you know? Did you breastfeed? I did. Your babies? Four months. Four months. Each, like, the same time. Yes. Really? Yeah. Was it hard for you? Kind of, because I was going out a lot. Socializing, you know. Yeah. And in Europe. So I had my first dinner parties to go to and I had to wear you know, the pads. Right.
Starting point is 00:03:02 The pads are the worst. So you wouldn't leak at a party, which is really weird. When you're leaking a party, it's... I know. The leaking is not fun.
Starting point is 00:03:08 But it's very feminine. But my first baby was during COVID, so I wasn't going anywhere. Which is why it was possible to do. What I'm saying is we didn't have the knowledge then, so we were heating up bottles.
Starting point is 00:03:18 Right. Back in the dizzle, like fully heating up your babies milk in plastic and like now we have a lot more. We didn't have that in Europe. People don't have microwaves in Europe. Right.
Starting point is 00:03:29 Not really. Or air conditioners. No. Oh, damn. Okay, so like Luann said, Mary F. Kelly Cabaret tour kicked off in October. So you're currently touring it. Yes. Which is why are you raspier than ever right now?
Starting point is 00:03:42 It's the morning, darling. Always raspy in the morning. But I love the show. You're going to love Mary F. Because it's all about who we'd marry, who we'd want to get rid of. We're not killing people. but it was inspired by my fans. The audience asked me every single show
Starting point is 00:04:00 because I do a Q&A and they're like Mary F. Kill Countess every single time. So after five years of this, I go, you know what? Mary F. Kill. No, it's F. Mary Kill. Right.
Starting point is 00:04:11 I renamed it because lyrically it sounds better, Mary F. Kelt. Right? So that's how I, so my fans inspired me for the show. And it's all about my love life, gone right, gone wrong.
Starting point is 00:04:23 And, you know, I show clips. It's pop culture meets cabaret, meets comedy, meets a fashion show. That's what it is. And it is so much fun. You'll love it. I'm so excited to see it. And you have a winter Christmas one, too. Yes.
Starting point is 00:04:38 So that's a different, entirely different thing. Totally. So are you wrapping up Mary of Kill and then going in? Yes. Okay. No, yeah. Holiday. I love holiday shows because I make up stuff all day long, which is, so I want my director,
Starting point is 00:04:52 Richard J. Alexander, who directs Kristen Chen with, Barbara Streisand, to name a few, I said, I want to play Eric Clapton, Lay Down Salé. And he goes, it's holiday. I go, well, now it's Lay Down Santa. It goes to all that trouble to come down the chimney, but he never stays. Lay down and stay with me a while. Yeah. So I take music and I turn it upside down, which is what I love to do, because it's very creative for me. I literally remember, and I'm sure all the OG fans, Like, we remember seeing this journey for you start on Roney. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:25 Like meeting with, who was the director at the time, Ben something. Ben Rimmelauer. See? Yes, Ben. I love Ben. He was the first one to really, like, believe in you and push you on this. But my first, how we started cabaret was a friend of mine said, Luke, you love to host parties. You love to sing for your friends, which I do, and you love to tell jokes.
Starting point is 00:05:45 He should be doing cabaret. I said, oh. And then I get married to Tom. Another chapter. And it took me well to get to cabaret. And then I met Ben through a really old friend of mine. And that's how I met Roger, actually, by the way, was here with me today. Wow.
Starting point is 00:06:01 Yeah. The one thing was for the next. 2018 has started my career. Yeah. And now I'm touring the UK. That's so cool. Isn't it? Are they all?
Starting point is 00:06:10 Do you think everyone who comes to the show is a Bravo person or some people just are coming to see the show, know you from other things? I don't know. It's interesting. It is. Yeah. It is. But I was called a gay icon in London.
Starting point is 00:06:25 I was like, I'm gay. Really? That's the best. I mean, in the likes of Madonna and stuff. No. I mean,
Starting point is 00:06:32 but. Australia is going to be fun too. You know what? They have such a good sense of humor. Australians. I've never been. Have you? I haven't.
Starting point is 00:06:40 But in the Instagram realm of social media, sometimes Americans, you can feel that they take stuff like personally, sometimes and they get offended easily. The Brits and the Aussies do not like they're very dry humor they're cool they're not like all uncle you've had such iconic lines like even when you said to tom the texting question mark like even that you didn't mean to be i mean that was a that was not a fun moment for you that was a real moment that was a great
Starting point is 00:07:10 moment that is that is like uh viral right now that sound did you know that question mark question mark Like you have so many moments on the show that were real. They were real. That's the difference. Why you feel like now? I feel like reality TV has changed so much, right? And when we were doing it, it was really real. We lived our real life on the show.
Starting point is 00:07:34 Yeah. And I think you see the difference right away, right? Yeah. That's why stage and cabaret for me is perfect because they had to be me. Yeah. There's no faking it. The person that they don't know. They think they know, but I get to tell them real stories that they don't know.
Starting point is 00:07:53 They'll never know unless they come to the cabaret, the government, to the cabaret, right? Yeah. Yeah. Is there anything you miss about filming? No. No. share in these shows? Like, are you really sharing, like, about dating? Like, if you went out with someone, like, will you ever drop names? Will you ever spill the tea?
Starting point is 00:08:26 Excuse me? Under Cabaret. Would you ask? What? Do you? Oh, I do. You do. Of course, I talk about all of it. Mary F. Kill is all about... Like, the real people. Yeah, the real stories. Yeah. So there was... The Tom's, the Harries. Are we always going to throw back to them? No. No. Okay. We're... But when we talk about Mary F. Kill, we will. Are we killing Tom every time? No, I've already married him, so, you know.
Starting point is 00:08:53 And Harry? Well, you know I'd kill Harry. You know I'd kill Harry, huh? Who were you in touch with from the show, Sonia? All of them. All them? Yeah. Still good.
Starting point is 00:09:02 We are family now, right? After all this time, we're family. It's like, you know, your relatives that you love, you don't get to see all the time. Yeah. And I see Ramona, and she's like, ah, and we're like that. Dorenda I saw last night with Sam Smith. Oh, my God. God's love.
Starting point is 00:09:17 We deliver. And Sarah Jessica Parker. I mean, it was really a very cool night. That's so exciting for you. I love that. Do you work on your voice? Like, do you take singing lessons and stuff? No.
Starting point is 00:09:30 No, you just like raw. I have a coach. Yeah. That I do vocal, you know, warm-ups and stuff like that. Yeah. Michael. Money won't buy you class. Like, will?
Starting point is 00:09:40 No, money can't. What money? Money. That won't. Can't. Sorry, darling. Sorry. Money can't.
Starting point is 00:09:47 You can't. People say, money don't buy. I'm like, no, it's cat. It's not don't, it won't, it's, it's can't. That is another thing, like, just a timeless, I know, iconic. Crazy. Did you ever think? No.
Starting point is 00:10:02 No. I just wrote what I cared about, which is, guess what? It doesn't matter how much money you have. Yeah. No matter where you're from, it's about what you've learned. Money can't buy. You're close. But you used to be a different Luann kind of.
Starting point is 00:10:21 Like, we saw you evolve, right? Well, yes. Like we all evolve. Hopefully, we grow and we evolve. Totally. If you stay the same, really, only stupid people don't change their minds. Totally. Or get what they want because they're stuck in a certain place, right?
Starting point is 00:10:34 But in that way, how did you change from the countess that doesn't want to talk about, like, you know. I was protecting my family and my marriage at the time. So it was very, you know. So it was more for him for the count. Well, it was more from my family. Yeah. I'm a woman. I protect my family.
Starting point is 00:10:51 Yeah. You do. And now you're kind of living for you. I'm living my best life. Damn, Luanne. In my 50s, yes, girl. I can still say that. So you don't have like a thing about aging where you're like,
Starting point is 00:11:05 ugh, I miss being 20 or miss being 30. No, but let me ask you a question, Amanda. Yeah, totally. If you don't know how old you are, you didn't have a mirror. How old do you think you are? Right. You don't know how old you are. don't have a mirror? How old are you? Well, like, based on my hangovers, I would be like
Starting point is 00:11:21 57, you know? That's really the only thing. I feel like 27. Really? Yes, what? Living my best life. Wait, where are you with sobriety? Can I ask? Well, guess what? I drink on occasion. Okay. And life is an occasion a lot. Yeah. And I'm okay with it. How are you with yours? I... Do you have a hangover today or no? No. Oh, good. No, but I get like a headache. Like, I'm lame like that. I'll drink three glasses of wine, get a headache. I'll drink three glasses of wine, get a headache can't function the next day. Like, it bucks me up. Really?
Starting point is 00:11:50 Yeah, maybe I need more practice. Maybe. No, it never. But it's very personal. You know, it's. Yeah. Everybody kind of feels different. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:58 Yeah. It's, you know, that relationship has changed from me. I'm in the driver seat now, right? Yeah. It's different. Yeah, we saw all of that. I mean, looking back at all your moments, it's just, we've seen a lot. We've been through a lot.
Starting point is 00:12:10 Like you said, you just said, family with everyone. Obviously, everyone saw the, like, Instagram moment with Bethany that, with her daughter as well. And then you went to say that it was kind of not what it looked like. Right. It wasn't. I was blocked. You're still blocked.
Starting point is 00:12:25 I am still blocked. You would think after that photo. I know, you'd think. Or shared them with me, but she had to post. Collab post. Okay, fine. It's all right. Would you accept a collab post?
Starting point is 00:12:35 From Bethany? Yeah. I don't know. I get to bridges when I cross them when I get to them. Do you care about being blocked or no? No. No. I've been blocked for years.
Starting point is 00:12:46 It's okay. Are you blocked by anybody else? No. I don't think so. Okay. Do you block people? I'm blocked by like Alec Baldwin. Why?
Starting point is 00:12:56 Because I talked about his wife, hilarious scandal a lot. I actually was nice about it, though. I don't understand why I got so mad. But it hurts. I'm like, you know, I liked a lot of his movies. You know, I don't want to be blocked by Alec Baldwin. I don't like to be blocked by anyone. I know.
Starting point is 00:13:13 It's not a good feeling. You know, it's not how I live, right? So you don't, if someone says nasty, you don't, you know. Well, I, I, yes, I do. I cancel them out. What's canceled them out? Canceled. If you say nasty things about me on social media, yeah, you're out.
Starting point is 00:13:30 So you block them. I don't block them, I cancel them. What does that mean, Luanne? Canceled. You're deleted. Deleted. Deleted. Like on friend.
Starting point is 00:13:39 I don't know what the cancel button is. Neither do I, but ask Roger. Roger, there's a cancel button. It's a blog. Oh, sorry. I mean, well, cancel does sound a little nicer. I like cancel better than blocking. Yeah, sounds nice.
Starting point is 00:13:54 I guess so. I like cancel better. I think so. So you also said, because you're doing obviously your shows and your own thing, but you still do the reality TV. You did the show with Sonia. Crapy Lake. That was so funny. So good that show, right? I know.
Starting point is 00:14:07 I loved it. Benton, Illinois. I'm going to St. Louis. To perform? Yeah. November 1st. That's exciting. I am a hometown of Andy going to St. Louis where Andy Cowan's from because it takes a while to get in your mojo.
Starting point is 00:14:24 Where am I? I'm a housewife. What are I doing with my life from Housewives, right? So not only making the money like from the show, but doing your own thing. Because, you know, we don't get residuals, right? Yeah. Show is still airing. Vicki Galvinson just said she made a million dollars on her last season.
Starting point is 00:14:44 A million dollars. What does that sound like? That, yeah, that's like kind of blowing up right now. Does that make sense? Yeah. Oh, it does. Yes, it does. We'll be right back after the break.
Starting point is 00:14:57 As we've already discussed, the holiday season is here and you're going to spend money. You might as well save money and the best way to save money. Starting point is 00:15:32 Like, are you okay? So this is how it works. Your favorite stores like Alta Beauty, for example, pay Racketon to send them shoppers. And Racketon passes on a part of that money to members via PayPal or check. So I randomly, like, I bought these Adidas Sampas a while ago, and then I literally got a notification like, you have $21 like in your PayPal. I'm like, wow, thank you. When you shop online, do you ever stop to think about these businesses that you're shopping from like skims or aloe or all birds? You're like, okay, cool. Click, click, click, add to cart, click, click, like enter my info, click, click, click, click. shop till you drop, click, click, it arrived.
Starting point is 00:16:48 Do you ever think about how this is happening? Like, what is the business behind the business that is making this selling? And for us, this buying simple. So for millions of businesses, that business is Shopify. Nobody does selling better than Shopify, their home of the number one checkout on the planet. So the fact that you're checking out so easily isn't by fluke. It's by Shopify. Okay, way less cards go abandoned and way more sales get going with Shopify.
Starting point is 00:17:21 So if you're starting a business, you're into growing your business, then you need to be using Shopify on the web, in your store, everywhere in between, okay? Because businesses that sell more sell on Shopify. Upgrade your business and get the same checkout as skims. Sign up for your $1 per month trial period at Shopify.com slash not. Skinny. When I saw that Skims launch their holiday shop, I was like, I'm in the spirit. I'm in the spirit. I know where I'm getting my gifts. Like,
Starting point is 00:18:15 they're going to be so freaking happy. So you guys, Skim's Holiday Shop is open and you can get cute holiday pajamas. You can get even matching family pajamas. You can also get your favorite bra, your favorite underwear. Believe it or not, I've been wearing Skim's underwear exclusively since 21 maybe, like right after Noah. I was like, I can't believe I'm wearing a thong. Oh, yes, I can.
Starting point is 00:18:41 They're so comfortable. But I'm also super obsessed lately with the fits everybody. cheeky briefs. I just got my holiday delivery from Skims and I took a picture of it and just red and so cute and has like little drawers. You guys are going to be obsessed. Another favorite of mine is the fits everybody's scoop braulette. It's just so comfortable. I wear it all the time and as a breastfeeding mama. You don't necessarily need a breastfeeding bra to breastfeed. Does that make sense? You can just wear the fits everybody's group broulet. It's perfect for that. So you guys, it's time to get your holiday shopping on. Shop skims holiday shop at skims.com.
Starting point is 00:19:15 It's available in styles for women, men, kids, and even pets. That's wild. Leo. If you haven't yet, be sure to let them know, I sent you. After you place the order, select podcast, and the survey. And my show, not skinny but not fat, and the drop-down menu that follows. And we're back. Tilda Swin.
Starting point is 00:19:36 Your besties? Love her. Random. Yeah, but, you know, I have a promoter in England. Glenn. Glend. Glyn. Is that with an eye? With the Y.
Starting point is 00:19:48 Glyn. L. Okay. Is he a man? He's a fabulous man. He's like Willy Wonka and the chocolate. Stop. He knows everyone. And so he told me that Tilda might come to the show.
Starting point is 00:20:01 And she came to the Coco, private, fabulous. Red boxes, gold-gilded, I mean, amazing. And she came. And there was an after-party. She came to me and she said, darling, I do it. Adorius, but so much joy. And I love what you do, but you need a break after six dates. And she says, come to Scotland, my humble abode.
Starting point is 00:20:24 And she invited me to Scotland. And I went, I took her up on it. And she goes, I do love a girl that takes me up on my offer like that. And she's just divine. She's so lovely. So you stayed how long in Scotland? Just for one night in Scotland. For the first time, I've never been to Scotland in my life.
Starting point is 00:20:40 In her house? Castle. Castle. Castle. It's castle. In her house, castle. House Castle. Amazing. Oh, my God. Right now. It was great. So wonderful. Were you by yourself? No, it's with Roger. Oh, Roger. Roger comes along with her. That's fun. Roger is with me all the time. Thank God for Roger because I looked at her. I was like, oh, my God, does she, what's going on here? And she was just so amazing and lovely. And I've never been to this part of the world. Yeah. We went to Scotland with Tilda. Okay.
Starting point is 00:21:13 We're going to have red wine and crumbets on the train. I'm like, okay. Five o'clock departs. And we go, how is Sonia? She asked me about Sonia. Oh, would she watch it. Were you surprised by that? Like, she doesn't give that.
Starting point is 00:21:27 No, no, she knows who I am. So she watches the housewives. She loves the housewives. How is Sonia? I said, and Derinda's filming traders in Scotland at the time. Yes, right. Right. So she goes, well, let's call her up.
Starting point is 00:21:39 But Derinda's phone was taken away. which I did not understand about traders because you found good secret like you would have FaceTime to her
Starting point is 00:21:44 or something with Tilda I tried to I did because she's in Scotland Yes who could believe
Starting point is 00:21:51 that Luanne and Sonia were in Scotland at the same time like No, Derinda Durinda Durinda Durinda not something
Starting point is 00:21:58 Right Sonny was not there I wish she was there because she would have had a blast she would have had a blast but isn't that fun like you said
Starting point is 00:22:05 like you're in your 50s you're living your life have you always been this kind of person that's like adventurous like that would get on a train at 5 p.m. with Tilda's Winn. I have, I have just one thing to say about that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:17 Get on the train or the train leaves without you. Don't be the one standing on the platform. Yeah? Because you can always go home, right? So are you a yes person? I'm yes. I'm the house of yes. Oh yeah? Like what? Go to everything you're invited to say yes. Okay. Definitely not. Okay. I'm not talking about that kind of yes. Okay. Okay. So what kind of yes? Tell us how to do it. Opportunity comes along. Like a good one. A good one, right? You can, and you know through your gut.
Starting point is 00:22:45 Right. Go, she can not go. And you know, because your gut tells you what to do. And then we go, here, I go, oh, I shouldn't. Maybe I have to leave on Sunday. I'm going to stay in one more night. And we're going to change my plans. And we can do that.
Starting point is 00:22:57 Yes. Do it. Do it. When you feel it, right? Yeah. And most people miss that opportunity in life, which is, I'm scared, so they don't do things. I mean, you know, I've lived by the seat of my pants for so long on the show, Housewives, and life in general. Cabaret, on the stage after what happened to me, right?
Starting point is 00:23:20 I came back. Yeah. Right? In a big way. Because guess what? If you're not scared, you're not living. And that's true. That is true.
Starting point is 00:23:28 You have so many lines. Is Tilda Swinton the most exciting guests you've had? Eccentric. Eccentric. Wait, did you invite Sam yesterday? Did you tell him to come? Did you send him a ticket? Roger.
Starting point is 00:23:41 Sam, to come where? To your show? To one of your shows. Yeah, but he will come. I'm going to Glasgow, Dublin, England. He's going to be... You're going to get him to come. Well, get Glenn.
Starting point is 00:23:52 I hope that he can... Get Glenn on it. We're going to get Glenn on it, yeah. Well, I, you know what? When you meet people, you connect. So you connect it? To a friend. Yeah, no, but I'm saying you vibe.
Starting point is 00:24:03 Do you feel like there's going to be... He's a very, he's a lovely. man. Well, that's fun. Yeah. So who would be, like, your dream guest to come see you in the show? Let's see. Miley Cyrus.
Starting point is 00:24:15 Wow. I love Miley. You're a duet between you would be like the battle of the... Oh, I cover her in my show. I love flowers. Yeah. I sing flowers, and I love her because she's abroad. You still smoke the occasional SIG.
Starting point is 00:24:27 I smoke Siggies. You know that. Yeah. Love it. What about vapes? On occasion. Yeah, but when you can't smoke. vape. Are you more into SIGs, though, than vape? I prefer, yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:39 Yeah. Except a lot of nicotine. Right. And you don't know how much you're smoking. That's right. People are in babes are like, all day, right? And there's a lot of nicotine vapes. Cigarettes are like, like, I smoke American spirits because I like them. I don't smoke a lot. No, they're not. They're the lightest. Aren't they like 10 minutes long? Yes. Oh, that's the vibe. Yes, because it's like you can put it down and it will stay just like you left it. You can come back after 15 minutes. And pick it up again. Well, wait.
Starting point is 00:25:08 You're telling you're not strong. Which doesn't have chemicals, you see. That's what is good about those cigarettes. American spirits don't have chemicals? No. I mean, don't have like the millions of... To an opera singer from Zurich turned me onto them. At the time I'm smoking marble lights, he goes,
Starting point is 00:25:22 but you cannot smoke marmal lights. And he turned me onto these. Opera singer from Zurich. And he goes, you have to smoke less than five a day. And you can sing like, Nobody misses. Stop. Appra Singer.
Starting point is 00:25:37 Well, that's the tea, you guys. You taught me about that. That is the tea. No, it's good to know. Good to know. I always thought they were like the hardcore cigarette. Like, I'll faint if I have one cigarette. No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:25:49 They're the lightest. No, there's different categories. Right. Marble reds, marble lights. Well, Marble reds are hardcore as fun. Well, I don't smoke marble. Chemicals. Okay.
Starting point is 00:25:58 Would you go back to their original Roney? If they brought you all back, did like a reboot. You're cracking me every. now. Would I go back? To the original? Yeah. To the OGs? We've already done it. We went to St. Barts for you guys again. So you think, like...
Starting point is 00:26:14 I got in trouble with the pirate once again, didn't I? I'm always in trouble with the boy. Did you not see the last ultimate girl's threat? No, we did. We did. Guess who gets lucky? Me. Wait, so what about the new Roney? What are your thoughts? Who's the most Luan? I just saw Bryn. I saw Bryn last night. She's so fun.
Starting point is 00:26:33 Yeah, she's fun. Yeah. I like Brent. I like all of them. I mean, they're all characters. They're just not us. They're not you. I'm not you. Are you me? Right. Amanda, you're you. I'm me. Yeah. So I love the girls for who they are. It's not the same thing. It's not the same thing. Can't be. Would you go on like a traitor's like Durinda? No. I don't want to be, have my phone taken away. No. Really, Luann? What? I feel like it's a never say never. kind of thing.
Starting point is 00:27:05 I don't know. What about dancing with the stars? My mother. She said, oh, I don't know about that show. My mother's Canadian. Oh. I don't know about that show. I think you're going to hurt yourself.
Starting point is 00:27:18 My mother's like, I don't think about it. It's hard. I don't like competition shows. I really don't. No, I don't like it. You're not. I don't like you, you. I don't like competition shows.
Starting point is 00:27:29 I did the mass singer, though. Right. Yeah, I did. It's raining man. Hallelujah. Yeah, I did that. How many times a day do you break out in song? It was hard.
Starting point is 00:27:42 Oh, the mask singer. First of all, you have this mask. Right. You can't see. You can't see anywhere except straight ahead. And it's claustrophobic. And it's claustrophobic. Put a mask on.
Starting point is 00:27:54 But you know what? I'm proud of myself for doing it. I was very nervous about it. But I'm so glad I did. It was a great experience. but I'm not big on competition shows. Yeah. I have to ask you about Oliver Sarkozy.
Starting point is 00:28:10 Olivier. Oh, my God. Oh, my God, you guys. Olivier. Oh, my God, that's so embarrassing. And Olivier. Okay. Olivier Sarkozy.
Starting point is 00:28:19 You were seeing what you were spotted. That's Mary Kate Olson's ex, husband. Yeah. Well, we're friends. Your friends. Yeah. Not a mass. Well, you know, we're friends.
Starting point is 00:28:29 Oh. You love the French. Well, I speak French. Right. Yeah. So it vibes for you. So you speak French with these men. Yes, they do. Okay. Vue de courche with one. And me so swan. So what's the best date spot in the city? Like, what's your favorite place?
Starting point is 00:28:49 Are you? Are you fishing for ideas, aren't you? Are you? No, I'm married, babe. Are you? Chacked up. I was taking off the market too young. Guess what? Yeah. The market's not that great. Yeah. So guess what? It's not a bad thing that you're. You're taking off the market. I mean, I feel like this generation, I don't know what generation we're talking about. For you, we go, we, we, whatever. It's rough.
Starting point is 00:29:15 Yeah. To find a good man. A good man. Right? Yeah. You mean a good girl, too. Yeah. And you're a good, do you consider yourself like a good partner in a relationship?
Starting point is 00:29:25 Once I'm in, yes. Once you're in. I'm loyal to the end. Like the girl cut. I have to ask you about this. I'm the type of girl that's always. loyal to the end, people come and go, but I'll always be a friend. I love that.
Starting point is 00:29:39 Well, that's my lyrics. I write all my music. You know that, right? You're amazing. Money, chic, Giovanni. Jovani. Girl coat. The Giovanni.
Starting point is 00:29:48 The Giovanni. Well, that was written by Desmond Child. Do you know who he is? No, I don't. He wrote, Live in the Vita Loca and Living on a Prayer. He loves living. Just those two songs. He wrote Viva the Diva for me.
Starting point is 00:30:00 He met me at Sirius Radio, and he goes, I have a song for you. Damn. I know. I sing with Natalie Cole, L-O-V-E. Wow. She's amazing. And, you know what? I've gotten to work with the best people in the business. I'm so lucky. You're so lucky. I am very lucky. Being thankful. I'm lucky sitting here with you. Oh, thank you, Luanne. I don't know if you're going to consider a green bush behind you. I might have to fall into that. Just for fun. Just for fun. No, that. No, that's come out from behind the bushes. How is that? How do you explain that falling in a bush is just... Tequila.
Starting point is 00:30:38 No, no, no, no. Yeah. How do I explain it? No. But how was that? Because some people would say, okay, she fell in a bush. Like, I feel like if it would happen on any other show today, it wouldn't be that funny. It would be a moment.
Starting point is 00:30:50 It was a moment. It was a moment. But with you, again, timeless, always funny. Oh, my God. There was Obama. It was like T-shirts with Obama and the bushes outside the White House. There's so many memes of that moment. I know.
Starting point is 00:31:04 You know why? I was having a good time in the bush. If I had to stand up, I would have fallen again into the bush. Or if I'm staying here, I was so happy. And it wasn't a pricker brush. It wasn't a pricker bush. Thank God. It was not a pricker bush.
Starting point is 00:31:18 Oh, okay. It was fine. But you know why else it's iconic and timeless? Because in those moments, you didn't take... Look me. I'm like on my living room couch room. I'm getting comfortable. No, get comfortable. You didn't take yourself too seriously.
Starting point is 00:31:29 Do you know what I mean? That's why. If you were like, oh, my God, this is so embarrassing I'm going to a bush, but you, like, vibe through it. And that's why till this day, it's a moment you can laugh about, everyone can laugh about it. And even Louis Vuittal makes mistakes. So, there you go. He does? Yeah, they do.
Starting point is 00:31:45 Okay, I have to ask you about this moment, Luanne. You're not going to love me after this. No, I'm just kidding. You won't. You won't. It's not a big deal. Don't bring a bad shit. No, it's not that bad. It's Joe Bradley.
Starting point is 00:31:54 Like, who cares? Oh, Joe Bradley. Who cares about him? I don't understand why you cared about him is my question. I think he's the QC I've ever seen since Elvis. I love that kid. He is so hot. He's delicious.
Starting point is 00:32:07 That's who, like, sparked your... Oh, he is, you know what? He's charming. Yeah. He's boyish. He's like, he's got a deep voice and I like that. You want a deeper than yours, if possible. I want deeper than mine.
Starting point is 00:32:18 If possible. Yeah. Well, if I sing fever to you, then you understand me. Sing fever to me. Never know how much I love you. Never know. know how much I care. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:32 When you wrap your arms around me, I get a fever that's so hard to build. You get me fever in the morning. Amanda. I fucking love you. So Joe Bradley Delicious, no regrets, not. Danielle was super hurt. No remorse.
Starting point is 00:32:53 No regrets. I forgive ever would you. No, Lou Ann. So you wonder about my voice. That's what I do. So, okay, Joe Bradley, what about him? Joe Bradley, you think he's so sweet. But he was, like, in a relationship with this, Danielle.
Starting point is 00:33:06 I know. He was into my stuff. He was into you and your stuff, yeah. That's right. He fucked up. He fucked up what? No, that was on him. I'm saying he was in a kind of relationship with her.
Starting point is 00:33:17 Yeah. And he went after you. Well, kind of. Kind of. Kind of. Kind of. But was he mad that you kind of aired it? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:33:25 Heared what? I don't know. It went, like, public. I didn't hear anything. No. It was just picked up because we're on March what happens live. It was a moment. You know, when you see a connection with people, right?
Starting point is 00:33:36 It's hard to like, say, oh, there's nothing going on there, which there wasn't. But we did go out and she tracked his phone and found out, which I was with other people, though, is what people don't know. So they think, he spent the night of my, no, he did not. He came to my place with friends and then he hung out and then he left. So no hooking up? No. Luann, you're a bad liar. I'm a terrible liar.
Starting point is 00:34:03 Put my sunglasses. We'll be right back after the break. So yesterday I took a shower. I don't actually wash my hair that often, to be honest. I washed it yesterday. Big deal for me. And then I was like, what am I missing? What am I missing?
Starting point is 00:34:19 Open to my drawer. Took out Color Wow's new, amazing product. Their money missed leave in conditioner. And oh my God, my hair today, you guys, is amazing. Like, just feels so good because Money Mist is just an ultra lux, leave in treatment for all hair types, especially for dry, damaged hair. And it really strengthens. It hydrates and he detingles.
Starting point is 00:34:45 It gives glossy, expensive looking results. And it even has heat protection built in. Luckily, because I strained it a little bit today. Listen, Money Mist sold out three times since launching this year. no mistake. And let me tell you why I had so much trust in Money Miss by Color Wow, because I am obsessed with Color Wow's Dreamcoat. One of these sells every five seconds, okay? It's amazing. If you haven't used Dreamcoat yet, you're going to be like, this is magic. Thank you. Numerous times I've used the Dreamcoat and I'm just obsessed. And now the Money Miss is even kind of an
Starting point is 00:35:20 easier thing because it's leaving conditioner with the Dreamcoat. You have to like put it in and then blow dry and like do all this stuff, which I've done. And it works. And it works. And it works. works galore, but I love that there's a new product that I could just use as a leaving conditioner and it can make my hair look so great. And guess who is an ambassador of it? It's Chris Appleton. So whatever he says, that's good enough for Kim, it's good enough for me. Go to colorwow hair.com slash not skinny and enter code not skinny for 20% all their products. This episode is brought to you by sacks.com. You guys, it's cray cray, but the holidays, they are coming up. I cannot believe we are nearing the end of November. This is cuckoo. This is cucko. So I am sure that

I am happy. So when you buy a gift at sacks.com, the gift receiver will be happy that that is where you bought it because they'll say, okay, are these Celine sunglasses?
Starting point is 00:36:38 Are these Gucci loafers? Is this a Chloe called favorite bag? I don't know. I just know there's something good in here. They also have a gift guide and it makes it super easy to find presents for hard to shop for people. I'm not hard to shop for. I will appreciate any of the aforementioned brands, okay?
Starting point is 00:37:00 Because SACS is where you will find these brands. We love to see it. So if you're looking for holiday gifts right now, you guys, go to SACS.com for all your holiday gifting needs. And we're back. Wait, speaking of dating, though, new dating show with Bravo. Who knew? Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:37:24 The Love Hotel. Again, after Rooney, so many other things would come, which is so fun. Like, Roney ended, but then he said, Ultimate Girls Trip, now we have this new dating show, Love Hotel. Yes. Did you film it already? That's done. It's done. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:37:39 You're going to love it. It was a vibe. You're going to fall in love with a Love Hotel. Stop. It was a great vibe, really good. So fun to film as well? Yeah, we had a great time. You know, it was more about the boys than the girls, right?
Starting point is 00:37:52 Which I love. It was not the drama with the girls. We're winged man for each other, right? So the drama lies with the boys and talking about them, right? Yeah. So because we're literally, you know, picking people. It's like being a bouncer in a nightclub and going, you, you, you and you. You, others go away, right?
Starting point is 00:38:09 Mm-hmm. That's kind of, that was kind of new for me. How to feel. Great. Great. Amazing. The girls. You know, for once, I'm on the other side of the, I'm on, they're on.
Starting point is 00:38:22 they're on the casting couch. Huh. Right? Yeah. And it's, you know, bachelor's, but it's better because it's so personal to the housewives and our thing we've got going on is housewives. Do you know what I mean? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:38 So it's much better than any other dating show you're going to see, I think. If you dated someone, would you rather know who you are or not know? Not no. Not no. Not no. Yeah. What do you want them to be like a Bravo fan? That's weird.
Starting point is 00:38:50 Yeah, weird. Like, hi! Would you want them to like have social media or not have those guys on TV already? Right. Aren't there? Yeah. But you were into Joe Bradley. He's trying to be famous.
Starting point is 00:39:02 Yeah, but am I with Joe Bradley? No, but you're into him for a second. It's called a hot minute. I know. But what I'm saying is to me, I remember that moment I was like he's kind of looking for clout. Well, he was very happy to be on the show with me, that's for sure. Right. And guess what?
Starting point is 00:39:19 I've been around for a long time on the never. work so he's not stupid right you see so that's why i'm saying would you rather get with someone who like doesn't have a social media doesn't care about that life definitely like olivier exactly like they don't fucking want to be tagged on instagram they do not they're not collab posting they're not well why do you they always caught out a lunch with olivier yeah yeah so i like serious dudes serious dudes europeans europeans more than americans Yeah. Well, I speak three languages. So I like Europeans. I like to speak languages. French, what else? Italian. And English. Right. And Spanish. And Spanish. And Spanish. Okay, let's say. Let's go to the beach. So laflaia. So we all know. Which I love that you're open about. It's so cute. I love Amanda. Oh, I do. Can we make a remix? I love Amanda.
Starting point is 00:40:15 Wait, yes you do the remix. Who, St. Smith. The Star of Bridgeton. Which one? Nicola. She did a remix of what? She. Shoes or shoes. Right. Right. Right.
Starting point is 00:40:27 Right. She is a new. Yeah. She came to see me at Mighty Hoopla in London. She came up to me. The store of Bridgeton came to me and said, I know. She's obsessed.
Starting point is 00:40:39 And she, and I love that. She's what, I love her because she is real. I like people that are real. I don't care where you're from. It's about what you learn. Money can. Empire, you clap. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:40:52 Yes, she's obsessed. I'm so, I love that. She's such a great actress. I mean, I can never, you know, when that happens to me, I'm like, is this for real? Like, you can't believe people of all, like, it's not just fanatic young Bravo people. It's like, no, Rihanna, you know. It's like. Rihanna is huge.
Starting point is 00:41:11 Yeah. Yeah. I mean, listen, it goes. Jennifer Lawrence is doing a movie now about the housewives. Right. With the famous Jeremy O'Harris. We just mad at the opening of Sunset Boulevard. Yes.
Starting point is 00:41:24 We just sat next to him at Sunset Boulevard. I was at the opening with Andrew Lloyd Webber. And we talked because I know Andrew, because we had a moment when he opened Phantom back after COVID. And we met Mr. Harris, right? So what do you do? Do you try to network in that moment? No, he was sitting next to us.
Starting point is 00:41:42 And he goes, I'm doing a movie about the house with Jennifer Lawrence. I told you. Oh, yeah. He did. Were you like, do you need a cameo? Oh, no. We're friends now. It's based on the housewives.
Starting point is 00:41:57 No, I know, but get yourself in there. Amanda. Okay. To the world. Of course. I mean, they need, you know, they need references. Yeah. I can tell them all the things that they don't even know that they saw on TV, but that I know.
Starting point is 00:42:14 Right. Because guess what? I'm the real person that they're. basing this movie on, right? Or one of the persons because I'm not that important. Like, you want the T? I'm just one of the cast.
Starting point is 00:42:26 So, did you set anything up with his Jeremy to give him the beats? Kind of. Maybe. Kind of maybe. Wait, but I need to ask you, Luanne, back to the dating thing for a minute. Because I love how open you are about,
Starting point is 00:42:38 you know, dating younger than you, dating. Like, you don't care about the age thing. No. Which I love that normalize it for the women, too. You know, why can, like, fucking men, do it? Listen, I, you know, 20-year-olds, my son is 28 now, my son, Noel. So 20-somethings, I don't go there unless somebody comes running after me. Then you're like.
Starting point is 00:42:58 Yeah, but I don't, I don't dip my tone to that, but now. So 30 plus? I like, no, age appropriate. Oh, age-apropes is the, like 50s. Oh, why do I think you liked younger a little bit? Well, I do. No. Dabbled.
Starting point is 00:43:14 I dabble. 40s are into my stuff. 50s are like, fuck, I'm 50. I need a 20-year-old. Right. And the 60-year-olds are, like, have a problem with the, you know, lower levels, as Ramona would call it, I call it the basement. Wait, what are the lower levels?
Starting point is 00:43:29 They've got a problem in the lower levels. Oh. Wait, the 50s? The 50s? 60s. Oh, 60s. Okay. I feel that.
Starting point is 00:43:38 No, the 50-year-olds are like, oh, shit, I'm 50. Yeah. Now I need a 20-year-old. The mid-life crisis thing. Yeah. So I devil. in late 40s or late 50s. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:50 Is there anyone currently taking space in that heart, Luan? Well, she is very happy. She didn't come in singing. It could be the cabaret, but it could be a mix. It could be last night. Last night was epic. Oh, my God, I'm so glad I got you after Sam Smith. Okay. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:07 What? That's true. Well, I saw a lot of people. I saw a lot of people last night. It was Michael Kour's Sarah Jessica Parker. Kerr, and I got to talk for a minute, and I love Michael Korz. I've known him for a long time. And Bryn. Derinda. I saw Dying from across the road. I was like, Durinda. Wait, when is the New York date for this show? For the Love Hotel? No. Cabrary.
Starting point is 00:44:35 Oh, sorry. November 15th. Okay, we're going, Regina. Note it in the Cal. But I'm already sold down in New York, but I'm going to find a place for you. Can you? Roger. Roger? Roger, Dodger. He's like, Roger, can you find a place for me?
Starting point is 00:44:48 You know what? I told them two dates would have been better. And they, you know what? But in cabaret, sometimes you have to leave them wanting more. That is true. So we're going to do in spring. We're doing a show at Town Hall.
Starting point is 00:45:02 Oh, I love Town Hall. That's fine. Don't worry, darling, I'm coming to Town Hall. Okay, I'm coming to Town Hall. Quick New York questions for our New Yorker. No longer a New Yorker, though, right? Where are you now? I'm all over, but we just got back from London
Starting point is 00:45:14 promoting my tour. 2025, which I'm so excited. I'm playing the original theater of Sunset Boulevard, where it was born. And I was just at Sunset Boulevard with Andrew Lloyd Weber. Oh, you're dying. You're dying still. You get Starstruck, huh? The Countess, she gets Starstruck. Andrew Lloyd Weber? Yeah. Oh, hell yeah. Yeah. And Nicole Scherzinger. Oh, wow. Wow. I was on the mass singer. She was a judge. Right. I didn't, I've never seen her. perform. Girlfriend.
Starting point is 00:45:48 Wait, Luan, where's the boat, though? Where's home? Home is New York and the Hamptons. New York and the Hamptons. And now London. And my next abode is London. You're not currently, though. No, but I'm...
Starting point is 00:46:00 We'll get a flat. We're going to get a flat. Roger? Roger. We're going to flat. Roger, get a flat. Okay, quick mirror questions. Do you take the subway?
Starting point is 00:46:10 Rarely. Yeah. Best bar. Mm. Best bar. Corner bar. Okay. Best first date spot.
Starting point is 00:46:21 First date spot. My apartment. Oh. Best restaurant. Like, what are your favorite food? Mm, I love Avra. Oh, yeah. I like Greek food.
Starting point is 00:46:31 Uh-huh. Healthy. Best hangover cure spot. Oh, Balthazar. Mm. Really? Okay. Not like a bagel?
Starting point is 00:46:39 No. Okay, never bagel. That's how she looks like that. No, I like, I like, I like, oh, mu, mouf, What's that? Muscles and fries, muskite.
Starting point is 00:46:49 Oh, I forgot. Using them fresh, too. Muscles and fries for a hangover cure? Best place to meet men. At bed, Beth, and Beyond in the home section. Maybe, like, taken, men. They're buying toasters because they've been kicked out of their apartments or whatever.
Starting point is 00:47:06 Your favorite neighborhood in New York? The Ever East Side. Yeah? Yeah. Love that. Upper East Side Represuit. Oh, I like the Marque Hotel. Carl Lyle. I like that. Yeah. Hell yeah. FMK. Fish room at Blue Stone Manor, the hotel room from
Starting point is 00:47:22 Crappy Lake, or the boat ride from hell. Oh, my God. What was the first one? The fish room at Blue Stone Manor. I'm going to marry it because she changed it. It's no longer has fish. No, no, no. Okay. So Mary and F. I'm going to F the motel room. Okay. Because it's dirty and like. It's dirty and Sonia fucked in that motel. So I'm Who am I killing? I guess you're killing the boat ride. Are you okay with that?
Starting point is 00:47:52 They almost killed us. Yeah, that's true. Are you kidding me? That worked out really well. The motherfucking countess. Thank you, Luan. I love you, darling. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:48:02 Can't wait for you see my cabaretion. I can't wait either. Mary Annette Kill. Are you obsessed with that song? I'm obsessed. Me too. Everybody, if you haven't seen Luan, perform. And even if you have, go again.
Starting point is 00:48:13 She's on tour. This is the all new. Christmas. Yes. She's done to her forever because you're planning 2025. So we're on the road. I'll see you maybe in London. No, Luanne.
Starting point is 00:48:25 I'm coming in New York. No, come to London. It's so much more fun. No, I'm not going to come here. Come to Dublin. Louan. Girl, we talked about this. Come to Europe.
Starting point is 00:48:35 Come to Europe with me. You're going to get married in one second. Oh, you're already married. I don't imagine I'm coming and that I get on a train with like, till this one. I know. If I was single, she'd kidnap me up right now. Who's got my vape? What? You said you don't vaive.
