Starting point is 00:00:00 The following podcast is a dear media production. Welcome back to the Not Skinny Bonafat podcast. I'm your host, Amanda Hirsch, and I still can't believe that I get to chat with some of my favorite stars on my very own podcast, where you'll feel like you're just talking shit with your best friends in your living room. Hey guys, welcome to a new episode of Not Skiny Bonafat. I'm your host, Amanda. Happy Tuesday to everyone if you're listening on Tuesday.
Starting point is 00:00:37 I hope everyone's having a great week. We're in New York. It's Friday today. we can breathe again. They were saying that it was like smoking 10 cigarettes. And I was like, okay. Then I'll cut back a few that day. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:00:53 But smoking a cigarette in the wildfires is like a double. You're like, what's happening? It's not good. Shouldn't do it. But yeah, New York has been crazy. It's been hazy. I feel like I always start with the weather report, which is really funny.
Starting point is 00:01:06 Like, you guys care. But I always start with a weather report. But I need to just tell you New York has been a mess. But it's not only weather. Not only has been humid. And now we're getting the smoke from the wildfires. And there's like lesionnaires. And there's like a deadly bacteria.
Starting point is 00:01:19 Not deadly. A blowout inducing bacteria in lettuce from Taco Bell. So I'm going to get some Taco Bell today because I would welcome. No, I wouldn't welcome. It's not true. My mom, when I say shit like that, she's like, Amanda, knock on wood. My mom like talks to God. She's like, she didn't mean it.
Starting point is 00:01:36 She's an idiot. Okay. Bore an idiot. I'm like, mom, he knows. So he gets it already. it's canceled. The request for the explosive diarrhea is canceled. Anyway, what has been going on?
Starting point is 00:01:48 The World Cup is taken over. We're almost at the finals, which, by the way, you guys, I'm going to be celebrating when the World Cup is over because it's taken over my house because I live with boys.
Starting point is 00:01:58 But I have to say in a sweet way that, like, my husband has always watched soccer and I never cared, but now Noah's into soccer and I'm buying him soccer cards. Like, we go to the card store all the time. And because of him, I know stuff.
Starting point is 00:02:13 And it makes me feel so good because I'll go. Like, I went to get a coffee the other day and I heard the barista and like some guy talking about the games. And they were like, yeah, like, I hate England, but like, I love a hurricane. And I'm like, I know Harry Kane. I bought the Harry Kane card. Like, I know so much more now, aside from just like messy that it makes me really proud of myself.
Starting point is 00:02:33 And that's all because of Noah. So I'm recording this on Friday. So I don't know who's going to win. But according to Polly Market, the odds. are with Spain. So people think that Spain is going to win over Argentina. Isn't messy on Argentina? Like, should I be rooting for messy or Spain?
Starting point is 00:02:52 I'm being told Spain. I should be rooting for Spain. So let me go with the people. I'll go with the people because on Polly Market, 59% think that Spain is going to win the World Cup finals. And don't we know that J.B. is performing, which, by the way, was another odds on Polly Market that I shared with you. And I think he wasn't number one.
Starting point is 00:03:10 He was like number three. And I was like, he must do it. It must be Justin Bieber. And I was like, I'm going with Justin Bieber. And then I think that day after I recorded that, he announced it. Little Bieber. Little Bieber announced it. Isn't it crazy he changed his name to Little Bieber just like that?
Starting point is 00:03:24 We would be thinking about a name change. I've been thinking for years about do I change to Amanda Hirsch. He one day woke the fuck up, smoked a fucking blunt and was like, I'm Lil Bieber now and didn't look back, which I love for him. So anyway, very excited for the World Cup. be over. Another thing that I want to talk to you guys about is like, this is the first time that a press tour is working on me.
Starting point is 00:03:49 And it wasn't even like Barbie didn't work on me. Okay, I'm telling you Barbie, like I watched Barbie, but I watched it months later. And I actually, as you guys know, had like the opposite reaction to the pink press tour. I was like anti it. But the Odyssey press tour is getting me. You guys,
Starting point is 00:04:06 I'm about to buy tickets to see a Trojan horse. Like, I don't know why. but it's the press tour of it all that is getting me. And it looks like on Polly Market, the Odyssey is already leading for winning the Oscar for Best Picture, which I am with the people again on this one, because it is getting so much love, high rotten tomato scores,
Starting point is 00:04:28 Christopher Nolan's best picture. By the way, could I be Christopher Nolan in the next life? Because he gets so much love and respect from all these actors that they're like, we don't even read the script. Like, it is disrespectful to Christopher Nolan if you ask to read the script for the part key is asking you to do because that's disrespectful. So even if, like, you say, you find out later that you're playing like dog shit. Like, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:04:57 Like, you just say yes to Christopher Nolan because if he wants you to play a part, you play a part. So I agree with Polly Market that the Odyssey is probably going to win for Best Picture because that's what it's changed. shaping up to look like. And I'm about to buy tickets to a Trojan horse because it's working so well on me. Other things I'm excited about, I don't know if you guys are watching Dancing with the Stars the Next Pro, but it's really good. I used to love so you think you can dance. So this is kind of like that. But different because with this, the winner of Next Pro is going to be
Starting point is 00:05:28 a professional on Dancing with the Stars. It's going to be a pro on Dancing with the Stars. So it's going to kind of like, you know, remember when Beverly Hills turned into Vanderpump Rules, it's going to go from Next Pro to the winner, actually being a pro on the next season of Dancing with the Start, season 35, which we do have a few names. We know Sierra Miller is going to be on it. We know Mara Higgins is going to be on it, but we don't know everybody.
Starting point is 00:05:51 The whole cast hasn't been revealed. On Polly Market, 52% of people think that Rob Roche is going to be asked to be on it, which I talked to Dylan Efron about it when he was on Get Real when I hosted it. And he's like, he wasn't so, sure, actually. So I might be going against the people here because Dylan made it seem like Rob Roche is kind of loving his life right now. And he may not be in the headspace to like want to kind of work that hard. I think he's just loving like influencer life and all he's getting with that. If you know what I mean. By the way, if you guys want to hear us dig into these sort of markets,
Starting point is 00:06:31 even more you could check out Dear Media and Polymarkets podcast. What are the odds which I host? and a few other familiar faces and new episodes drop every Friday. It is fun. It is culture. And now let's get into today's episode. I'm so excited. My girl, my friend, she's a friend of the pod. She's been on before.
Starting point is 00:06:49 But it's been a minute since we reunited. Taylor Strecker. She's going to be on House of Sossie. After so many years of being in radio and podcasting and touring with Sossie and now doing Sassie's pod, she's going to be a reality star. And I'm so excited for her because this is definitely something she wanted. I also got to watch it to first episode. episodes of How's the Sassy? And I loved it, you guys. This show is going to be big and you guys are going to love it. And I love Taylor. So enjoy our conversation. We were talking about, oh, glam. So I was saying that hasn't changed because you've known me for many years. Yes. That hasn't changed. It's not like maybe I leveled up in other ways, but like still don't love getting glam. And if I can get away with not doing it, you will. I will. And like, for example, I went to.
Starting point is 00:07:37 to the Moana premiere last week with Noah. And I knew I had a good dress. And then I was like, it's already a thing. I already have to pull them out of camp early. We have to go to Harlem. It was like in Harlem. We like it's a whole thing. I'm going with Noah.
Starting point is 00:07:52 It's like more responsibility. I can't sit for glam before that. Right. And it's time consuming. And it's time consuming. So I did my own makeup and I got a blowout like next to my house. There's a little salon. Dominican salon.
Starting point is 00:08:03 I love those ladies. They shampoo my hair for 25 minutes. And obviously much cheaper than getting the glam people. Yes. Get to the place. It's like huge. The carpet's crazy. Two minutes of photos.
Starting point is 00:08:16 Then we're sitting in this huge theater. And I was the only thing I could think about was like, thank God I didn't get glam. If I got clam. You would have been so pissed. Exactly. I would. In the words that I don't like using in vain, I would kill myself is what I might have texted my sister.
Starting point is 00:08:30 The first thing I said when I got there was like, I'm so fucking happy. I didn't get glam because I would kill myself. The time, the money. Right. And then knowing like, I didn't even know at that point. The photos came out. You know what I mean? And then I got the photos. Luckily, they came out well. And my fucking makeup looked great. I know. You have great skin. You have gorgeous lips. It's not fair. I'm over here. Skinty. Stop. You look so good. Well, because I got glam. You walked and you were like, I didn't recognize. You were like. And you got skinnier. Well, GLP 1. No, I know. But I thought does it not end? You know, it's an interesting journey. I've been doing it for three years. Yeah. So, yeah, three years. And I'm, I wouldn't say off and on. I'm on, girl.
Starting point is 00:09:11 Okay. Was there an ever and off? Sometimes like if I'm, well, okay, this is the most obnoxious sentence I'll ever say in my life. So my wife and I, Ted, were in same parts. Yeah. And we didn't want to leave. Yeah. So we stayed for like a month. And you didn't have your stash. And I didn't have my stash. So I went off of it. Wait, this is pre baby or post baby? Post baby. With baby? No, no, sorry. Pre baby. Pre baby. Sorry, pre baby. Oh my God. We could net. We could never. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:37 So anyway, so I like, I've done like maybe like two weeks here and two weeks there. But like, that's just because of like I'm making mistakes or like I forgot to like fill my prescription. Yeah. So I definitely like I'm, I'm on it for the most part. But I have to say like you look good. I see people where they take it too far. I know. And their face starts not looking good.
Starting point is 00:09:58 And that's what I would never want to happen. Like that's been a fear. Like do you feel that way? Like are you cognizant of like if my, if it starts giving. a Zempic face, like, I might turn on it. Yes. Well, I would just pull back. I would, like, I would, like, microdose it.
Starting point is 00:10:12 So rather than, like, every single week, I would do it, like, every other, like, once a month. Are you doing the lowest dose? No. Highest? Not highest, but, like, I'm rocking with my, like, seven. I don't know how to say it. I'm like, is it 7.5?
Starting point is 00:10:25 Is it 75? The GLP one girl always know what I'm saying. Wait, which one are you on? Zepbound. I love Zappound. Were you on that from the beginning? No. I started off with, like, compounds.
Starting point is 00:10:35 And, but like, my brother is, my brother's a vascular surgeon. And he was like, compounds make me nervous. I want like an FDA approval. Oh. So he really pushed me to like go on something named brand. So I went on Zepbound through Weight Watchers. And I'm obsessed. But yes, active.
Starting point is 00:10:53 But Trezepatide is like that. Everyone's talking about that one. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's the one to go with for sure. Yeah. Instead of a stomachlutide. Oh, that's something else. That's like Ozempic.
Starting point is 00:11:04 Oh, got it. I'm kind of like a GLP1 expert. First of all, your early days. I know, right? And early days you were honest about it from the first inject. From the jump. I was like injecting on my show. No, you really were.
Starting point is 00:11:18 I just, my audience knows me so well. And I'm always like crying about weight. And have you stopped? What? Crying about weight. Yes. Okay. I completely.
Starting point is 00:11:26 Okay. And it's like. Do you obsess? Do you weigh yourself every day? Are you like that girl? I actually don't even know what I weigh right now. Amazing. And I just got back from like two weeks in the Hamptons and I was like drinking more.
Starting point is 00:11:35 than usual and eating more than usual. And you can drink on it. I know people that can't drink on it. It cuts back. Well, and I also, I was, I missed a shot. So then I'm like a ravenous, like, monster woman. I know. I remember going to lunch with you when it was like kind of the first time I saw you since you started. Yeah. And it was very weird for me. Why? That you didn't eat anything. Oh, I know, right? Because I'm such an eater and such a, I'm such a booze house. And I love that about you. You know what I mean? I'm getting to eat with you. I know. Well, I think because it been on it for a while now. Like, you will, like, but you know, maybe I just think I'm eating a lot and I'm not.
Starting point is 00:12:11 But do you have the skewed perception of skinniness now? Yes. Because that's what worries me, too, with everything happening. How about, explain. Okay, so like, because I, you see people getting very emaciated and you wonder, like, do they not think they're skinny enough? And then it's like, their perception of skinny has changed. So, like, this is very skinny now for you.
Starting point is 00:12:33 Yeah. So, so. So do you think, like, in your mind, like, this isn't skinny enough? Like, does that occupy you? You know, that's so interesting. Here's a deal. We, I, so I just finally watched, like, House of Stasi the whole season. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:47 Oh, okay. And I, the camera adds 10 pounds. So, yes, maybe I'm a little skewed, but can we blame that on television? And. But maybe you lost more weight since. Maybe I have, actually. I don't really know. But yeah, you're, I think we're hard on ourselves on camera.
Starting point is 00:13:04 I hate the way I look like in the mirror. I think I like myself two dimensional. I've decided. Me too. You know? Yeah. But you know what else is crazy? Yeah, 3D me needs to like stay at home.
Starting point is 00:13:15 But you know what it is crazy? Like, and this is always true. You always look back and think how hot I looked. Yes. And you're never thinking it in the present. Ever. Ever. And it's like and I know.
Starting point is 00:13:29 So if someone tells me, if I post a photo and someone's like, you look so great, I'll immediately be like, it's the camera, it's the mirror, it's the angle, it's the shirt, it's the pants. And I'm not doing that to deflect the compliment. I am serious when I'm telling you, I am attributing the compliment to all these things. But the small chance that maybe you look good. Right. No, there's no way.
Starting point is 00:13:54 It's a skinny mirror. It's a skinny camera. It's like, and I think it's like, will we ever think we look good in the fucking. moment. Isn't it so fucking sad? I've like really never looked at myself and been like, girl, yes. Like ever. Really? But will you look at a past photo and say? Fuck yes. Right. Yeah. And it's so sad that in the moment we can't enjoy it. I think we need to like self-talk into it. Like you look good. It's not all these outside things. Nothing is skewed. Like your brain is skewed. It's so your brain is skewed. Isn't it so sad? I have to say and maybe this is like, I don't know,
Starting point is 00:14:30 GLP ones has, it's made me, like, feel so much more comfortable than I've ever felt before. And it's made me, like, this, I don't know if this is scientifically proven, but this is my science. It makes my brain better. Like, I'm nicer to myself. And, like, I'm not, like, I used to wake up in the morning, like, since I was, like, in high school. And it was like, what am I eating? What are my calories for the day? What's, like, my, like, point system?
Starting point is 00:14:55 Because I did Weight Watchers, like, the OG version back in the day. But it was always like, I was, like, writing notes down and, like, trying to figure I was like, I can't. You want to have for breakfast until I know what I'm having for dinner. Like, it was just like exhausting. Yeah, I took that out. And they called the food noise thing. The food noise.
Starting point is 00:15:08 And it's completely gone. But there's also like an anxiety that I just had like low base always that I didn't really realize was a thing until I went on this. And I'm like, wait, I feel that's crazy. And I'm on crazy pills. Okay. Like I am a crazy lady. But I like when I'm off the shot, it's not even about hunger.
Starting point is 00:15:26 My wife's like, you're acting a little nuts again. Really? I get like obsessed. And it's like being mean to myself. Okay. So I have a question about the food noise and then we'll move on. Okay. So I was thinking about it yesterday because obviously it occupies me.
Starting point is 00:15:40 So I was thinking about it yesterday. And so my husband goes to poker like once a week. And then I put on a show. And then what do you want with the show? Wine. A snack. So I'm like a snack. And then my mind is like, what can I eat?
Starting point is 00:15:57 What can I know? Should I have this? No, I'm going to feel bad about it. And it was 20 minutes of that until I was like, you deserve it. Yes. A girl can snack once freely and not overthink it. So I took a bag of true frill. What's true fru?
Starting point is 00:16:11 You fucker. Stop sending me that shit. I can't control. Have you tried it? No. Oh, wait. Is it the fruit with the chocolates on it? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:18 The banana? The raspberry. The raspberry. So I took out the dreary, the freeze dried raspberry, which was a conscious thought because of the freeze dried. you can pop because it's not cold like a frozen strawberry because it's freeze dried. Right. So I ate it and you know what's sad.
Starting point is 00:16:37 First of all, is that food noise? Like would that go away? One million. Like it wouldn't enter my brain to snack. You wouldn't even think about it. You would go like this. What do I want for a snack? Hmm.
Starting point is 00:16:46 Okay. And have like basically within reason whatever you want. Yeah. And you just won't like you won't eat the whole bag. It's just not a thing. It's not a thing. So I just want to say that aside is that. I feel like I'm at the age. My gut is at the age where I can't eat that stuff. Right.
Starting point is 00:17:05 Like I woke up in the middle of the night. My tummy hurt. Your tummy hurt. And my tummy hurt. I had a nightmare, which I'm attributing to it. I was going to say, you're going to blame it on that? Why not her tummy is make you feel weird? Yeah. It just makes your brain go crazy. I had a weird inception dream. And I was like, I literally, I used to be able to do that. You know, just like drink more, all the things. Yep. And that's not worth it. to me. Right. Like I'm like, I'll think about that next time. Anyway, let's move on, Taylor. Well, welcome back. I'm so happy to be back. You haven't been on in a while. It's been a minute for sure. Yeah. I feel like the last time. No, no, I think it was in a studio. I mean, listen, you're interviewing
Starting point is 00:17:47 celebrities. I mean, so it makes sense that I haven't been back. Well, you haven't been back. Well, now you're a reality star. I mean, TBD. We'll see if I'm like a reality star or just like a reality. A friend of. Like, literally. Who knows? Well, okay, so I think your listeners probably know this, but you wanted to be on reality TV before. Forever. You had conversations with Roanj, houses of New Jersey. You know it.
Starting point is 00:18:13 Yes, I auditioned. You auditioned. Full on. It was a four-hour interview. I was like, I'm getting shit. Yeah. Well, it would be so cute if you guys made it on that show. You know, I don't think we're the right fit for Ronge.
Starting point is 00:18:26 Yeah. Probably not. I was just picturing you, like, throwing it down with Teresa. Like, it wouldn't make sense. I love Dolores. She's my girl. I love Margaret Joseph. Right.
Starting point is 00:18:37 She's my girl. But, like, Margaret's the reason I was even auditioned. She brought me in. But, like, I, like, me and Teresa, like, I don't even think we speak the same language. No, no, no. I don't, I don't honk to speak. Did you know that Stasi, how long did you know she was trying to make this show happen? So this shows, so I feel like, I remember talking about it like four years ago.
Starting point is 00:18:58 I think we were on tour. And we were like around their like island in their kitchen just like kind of like starts like like but like should I go back? And we're like yeah. She was like well I wanted to be like about this and we're like about this. She's like yeah, us, you guys, we work together. And I was like, you know me. I'm like salivating.
Starting point is 00:19:16 Druling. Get a mop. There's a puddle on the ground. I'm like, let's do it. But it takes so long for this shit to happen. So in between like very early conversations and then this like potential audition. I was going to ask, is there an audition to see if your reality material? Yeah, basically, it's like, so Margaret introduced me.
Starting point is 00:19:35 They're like, we're like looking for new castmates. We want to do an interview. So then then like Zoom you for like whatever. Not Margaret. I'm talking about the Stasi show. No, I'm saying. So Stasi, like, sorry. Oh, you said Margaret.
Starting point is 00:19:46 Margaret recommended me for Housewives. And then that's how the audition process started. Okay. It wasn't like I went to a casting call. No, but I assumed the Stasi show came from Stasi being like this is my friend. Yes. So, yeah. So I've always been, in any reality I've ever done, I've always been, like, introduced to, like, direct production.
Starting point is 00:20:04 Yeah. Yeah. I've never like, like, I, like, it would kill me if I was like, and I sat in a room and I waited three hours. You sent a thing. Okay. But with Sassie's show, so she has this idea to do it. You're salivating. Yes.
Starting point is 00:20:17 And then do they have to meet you to be like, yeah, she can be on TV? That's so interesting. Wait, I never even thought about this. It kind of was just like the tailors are going to be. be a part of the cast. Yeah. I mean, but we did do like test shoots and stuff. So if we totally fucking sucked, they'd probably be like, no.
Starting point is 00:20:35 Right. But Stasi is a loyal-ass bitch. And she would-I feel like she would fight to the death for us, for sure. I love that. So I don't know. Like, Stoss was like, it's about my life. So this is my life. Wait, so what happens in those four years of her trying to make it happen?
Starting point is 00:20:50 We do a sizzle. And then it, like, they go to production companies. And then it's like, okay, they're interested. Now we do another sizzle. There's like a lot of, like, shooting. I feel like we shot a pilot episode. We went to Villa. I felt like Villa was a test in Italy.
Starting point is 00:21:01 It was like if this crew of people... The first Villa, not even the second. The Italian Villa. So sorry, the second, not the third. Wait, Tossi was on two. So not the last season of Villa. No, that was in England. I'm going to go by country.
Starting point is 00:21:15 So the first ever villa was France. Stasi wasn't on that one. Right. Then the second season was Italy and we did Italy. And then I do, I think it was like a little bit of a test with like Hulu and Disney in free form to see like, do they like, do they have what it takes? Yeah. And I guess we did.
Starting point is 00:21:29 And was Tay your wife into this from the jump? So she was always kind of like, I'm private. That's not my bag. Like I'm behind the scenes. I'm not interested. I'm scared. She also doesn't watch it. So she was like scared of the idea of it.
Starting point is 00:21:42 But she stopped working in tech. And now she runs our, I say our business because like I'm technically employed by her. She's my fucking boss. She's toast. So scary. I remember when that happened. Right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:52 When this shift occurred. Yes. I remember when you were like, Chay said, I'll be a manager. And I was like, remember you, I remember you were like, get a brand deal. Let's see. Yeah, let's see if you can do it. And she did.
Starting point is 00:22:06 Yeah, wait watchers. And the sperm or something? Oh, she did. And California Cryo Bank. She proved herself. She did. I said, if you can make your salary in a year, then we can do this. But if you can't make what you're making in tech, you got to go back to tech.
Starting point is 00:22:22 And also you got to cover health care too because she was our health care. Wait. So working together did that... It's amazing. Yeah. But I think it helped her realize, oh, we like should be doing things like this. So I think that's what like changed her idea of reality television.
Starting point is 00:22:37 She's a natural. She's a natural. It's so annoying. Yeah, yeah, yeah. She's a natural. I'm over here for 20 years. I'm grinding my ass. And she floats in.
Starting point is 00:22:44 She floats in. And she's just like, she's a natural. No, she's tall. She's gone. She's beautiful. She's blonde. I love her. And you did become a dad.
Starting point is 00:22:53 It did become a dad. So how do this sad thing start and how many people are annoyed by it versus how many people love it? 50, 50. I'd say my mom and my mother-in-law are the most annoyed by it. They're like, stop with a dad. I've had some friends too who like refuse. They're like, I'm not calling you a dad. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:11 But I. But do you want Bo? Well, right now, we are just entering. She's like six months and changed. Yeah. So we're entering the like, my mama, da, da, da, blah, blah. Yeah. And I, like, Tedd.
Starting point is 00:23:23 I don't think you want to be dad, that for real. Taylor is mama, which, so I'm mommy, which I love for like the future, but she can't say mom me. So I'm Datsa for now. For now. I just need to, like, feel like she loves me. Yeah. But here's the thing with the dad of it all.
Starting point is 00:23:39 It is a nod to how much I respect my wife and you and Stasi and all of my friends who are moms because I don't deserve a mom title. Because if I was a mom, I'd be a very bad mom. Really? But as a dad, I'm fucking phenomenal. I'm no fool. So I'm dad. Wait, so you're not 50-50.
Starting point is 00:24:00 Girl. What? When you were saying, I don't know if this is going to be in the pockets, but when you were saying, like, you and hubs, like, Hubs, you go off and on? Yeah, yeah. I don't do that. Oh, Tate does all the wake-ups.
Starting point is 00:24:14 Tate is all the wake-ups. She, I've offered. Yeah. But she's like, I miss her. Like, but the second we put her down, she's like, don't you miss her? I'm like, no. Dad.
Starting point is 00:24:24 Don't you miss her? No. I love it. So in the morning, she's like dying to see her. And like, there's been some mornings where like I've gone down
Starting point is 00:24:30 and done it. And she's like, she comes down. Somebody's just so stupid. So I'm like, you do it. But I will say. What about when she would,
Starting point is 00:24:37 would wake up at night? We would, we were like all hands on dad. Yes. We were tag teaming. But I was miserable. Yeah. And she does better like with stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:24:46 Yeah. She's more patient than me. You're also older. I'm so old. Like I am not. Like, Are you kidding me? No, stop.
Starting point is 00:24:53 We'll be right back after the break. Have you guys seen the five-star weekend on Peacock? I've been watching it and posting about it. Starting point is 00:30:23 When we were talking about you having a baby for years, your main fear was always, Tay's going to love the baby more than she loves me. Yes. I'm going to be left out. Yes. Like, this was a valid fear. You weren't trying to be funny. You would talk about this.
Starting point is 00:30:38 Right. Like, seriously. Seriously. For real. So how did that manifest? Like, what's happening in the real life? So I'm happy to report that I am in. included. Sometimes. Yeah. No, the baby's like obsessed with me. Really? This is so crazy to say.
Starting point is 00:30:53 It's like hard to get vibes. The baby looks like me, which is scientifically impossible. There's not one drip of me in there. Okay? It's 10 egg and a sperm donor. And she does look more like you. Like me. She also is doing this thing now because she's like talking more where she, whenever she sees me, she goes, ah, ah, she's like copying my voice. So she's going to sound like me. And she's a total freak show. So she's going to act like me. Oh, yeah. She's constantly screaming. Really?
Starting point is 00:31:22 She's just talking. Oh, babble. She and Tay like has her listen to me because Tay is always like producing every, our daily show. Right. So this kid is listening to me nonstop and she talks the whole show when I'm talking. Oh, my God. That's so cute. I know.
Starting point is 00:31:34 I'm like obsessed with this kid. Oh, I love it. She's so delicious and wonderful. And I really shouldn't talk about this because it's going to make people hate us. She sleeps 12 hours a night and she has since she was three months old. You never have. like sleep train or anything. Well, we had night nurses, but not every single night.
Starting point is 00:31:50 We did like three nights on and four nights. It was just us. And I was a white knuffling it. How many months did you do it? A long time. About three months. No, I mean, if you can, that's fucking amazing. And so why do you think I'm posting so many links? Got to pay for the fucking night nurse.
Starting point is 00:32:07 Wait, so the plan was that Taylor would have one baby. And then if you had another one, you would get pregnant. No. That's not on the table. Well, maybe that was the plan. but she shifted. So I don't want to carry. My uterus is upside down.
Starting point is 00:32:22 Nothing is growing in there. Like for real? No, for real, real. Okay. It's a condish. They were like, it's not a condish, but they basically were like, so who's going to carry?
Starting point is 00:32:30 And I was like, Taylor Donahue, not me, not me. And so they were like, well, we're going to like do, we're going to sweep both of you. Yeah. You know what I mean? Wond.
Starting point is 00:32:41 Yes. Dad. See? Yeah. Like I don't have a vagina. Yeah. And so they were like sometimes the parent that doesn't want to carry ends up being the one with the most viable like, you know, whatever. And you were like, please. And so they went to Taylor's and they were like, oh my God, it's like heaven in here. There's like an angel singing. And then they like went to mine and they were like, good thing you don't want to carry. Because you have cobwebs. So it's like not, I don't even think like we could try if I was dying to. If you wanted the feeling. But you don't. You won't feel full of them all about it. zero. I mean, that is really fun for you.
Starting point is 00:33:18 But then does that mean that if you do have another child, then it won't be, then would you use your... Not even my egg. No, because here's the thing about me. The thing about me is I know how insane I am. And I am scared if we have one of Taylor Donahue's and one of mine, I'm going to be so mad at mine
Starting point is 00:33:34 and judging mine and be like, you're not as tall as your sister. You're not as, you know, blonde. You're not as cool. Because it's mine and I'm so mean to me, so I will be mean to it. I can't believe these are your thoughts. Is this not normal?
Starting point is 00:33:50 You would literally like... But think about it. No, no, really. I'm okay. Come on this journey with me. I'm going. I'm going. I'm going.
Starting point is 00:33:57 Because like twins, like twins would always be like competitive or... Kind of, but it's like this. So usually when people have a child, right? Like they, like let's say a heteronormative couple, right? They get pregnant the natural way. It's 50-50. So when the kid does something fucked up, you can be like, that's your kid.
Starting point is 00:34:14 You know what I mean? But not in this case. It's Tay's kid and sperm donor's kid. But Tay wouldn't do that. But I'm crazy. Right? But you know she wouldn't. Right?
Starting point is 00:34:23 Would she like, that's your kid? She wouldn't be like, of course yours is, you know, fuck up. Because I can be like, that's your kid. No. But like with in this instance, it's like, or like let's say parents adopt. There's an adoptive situation. Both parents are having the exact same experience. They're both like in the same place.
Starting point is 00:34:41 With this, it's like if you have one of yours and one of mine and not tons of like same. do this. And like, like, God bless. I love that for you because you're not like living in my head. But I know a couple, two gay guys. And they had one of this guys and one of this guys. And they do that. And they're half siblings. They use the same egg donor or whatever. Saraget, too. And they're not, the dads aren't getting along now. And so it's like split families. It's like this dad off with his kid and this dad off of his kid. And so, and I know. Like that movie with Lindsay Loanne, but not because they were all twins. Totally. But
Starting point is 00:35:15 different, but same. Okay, so this is all working out on the you not wanting to get pregnant, the uterus not having cobwebs, and you knowing that you would fuck the kid up. I'm too mentally ill to have like one hers and one mind. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So I'm just like, let's drive you crazy. It will drive me crazy. It's like an OCD thing, maybe.
Starting point is 00:35:32 Yeah, and I'm like, scared like the world, but like I just always, I think Tay's like so much better than me. You know that song by Tao, what's his name? She's so high above me. She's, that's what I think about. Wait, this one's so high. Wait. That's the song. That's so sweet. Have you used it on the real? No, but I'm gonna. For her next birthday post. That's what you're using. So how's the sassy? I watched the first two episodes. What'd you think? By the way, I watched it twice because Katie Maloney came on Get Real that I was hosting. So I watched it. And then you were coming on. I was like, I watched it a while ago. Like I want to watch it again. And I think, and whenever I'm watching it, I'm like, it's so good. It's going to be so good. I'm so excited for you.
Starting point is 00:36:15 You did say on it 20% parent. Yes. I'd rather be like tanning on my roof. Definitely. Are you scared of people? Are you thinking? Or do you think people will relate? And what is it 20%?
Starting point is 00:36:29 Are you exaggerating? Girl, I'm not exaggerating. I'm so happy I committed to 20 because I might be, Tay said this to me. Tay's given me 30%. So I'm a third. I'm a third of a parent and she's two thirds. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:41 I, my job is to be Taylor, Donahue, Sue, Chef. I take care of Taylor O'Donohue She takes care of the baby Like when she goes to get her hair done I have a full panic attack I'm like write me a list of the things that I do I'm like dad So dad
Starting point is 00:36:56 So dad So dad So that's why when I'm saying dad Like it's more of a state of mind Yeah Rather than like I'm like a guy And it works for you Yes
Starting point is 00:37:04 And it works for you And she likes it And like Christina Kelly was actually asking us At that get real event That we were all at She was like But is for real like Is Teddy for real like annoyed
Starting point is 00:37:12 Sorry I just don't want to confuse people I call my wife Taylor Donahue, Tay, Taylor, and Teddy. It does confuse me too because Teddy was new for me on the show. Was that a decision with the show? Yes. Because you're both Taylor's. You could have done Taylor and Tay, but people call you Taylor. So like what's the...
Starting point is 00:37:28 Yeah. Like I'm Tay, Tay, Tay, I'm Taylor. It's confusing. So was Teddy a thing before? Teddy's a thing. So Teddy's family calls her Teddy. So we've always said, like, if, you know, like your friend, your family, call her Teddy if you want to.
Starting point is 00:37:42 And so Stasi and Bo got used to calling her Teddy. So that's kind of why it stuck. But I like also love that we're the tailors. So it's kind of why. Did you have to make a decision for the show? Yeah. So the show she's like the show she's Taylor, Teddy, Donahue. Okay.
Starting point is 00:37:59 So that we can still keep the tailors. Okay. Because we're a branding perspective, it's fucking bomb. Yeah. You know? Yeah, yeah, yeah. But also it's very confusing. Okay.
Starting point is 00:38:08 So when I say Tate's because when I made you, Yes. That's how I would distinguish. Taylor and Tay. Right. Okay. But on the show, she's Teddy. Let's call her Teddy for today.
Starting point is 00:38:20 Okay, let's call her Teddy. I'll get used to it. Okay. Okay. Do you call her Teddy now? Do you just see what my interviews? I was like, Tay this and Taye that. They're like, are you speaking of her person?
Starting point is 00:38:29 I was like, oh, fuck, I forgot. I know. So it's just, but I also call her Teddy. It just depends. It depends. We also call each other Rita, but that's a different story for a different day. Rita. Rita, R-E-E-E-E-E-T-A.
Starting point is 00:38:41 Uh-huh. Where did that come from? Girl, you've time for this way? No, we don't, actually, because I'm still on card number one. You also tasted her breast milk in the first episode. Yeah, her colostrum. I know, you were like, is that oil? I was like, oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:38:53 You know what's nuts is I actually almost put my mouth on her nipple. That was my instinct. And so I at least, that was self-control. Wait, that's gross. No kidding. I'm so happy I didn't. Like my mom drank my sister's breast milk for immunity. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:07 And I was going to bomb. Like, those things gross me out. No, it's gross. Like, I know that men do it a lot of times When a woman has like my scitis, they'll suck it out I like don't I'm like not into that Yeah, could you would you like never be able to like look at a birth? No, like at your man the same way again if he ever did that
Starting point is 00:39:29 No, no no no I mean it would be very weird for me But I also don't want to taste anybody else's breast milk even if I love them I also don't want to share anybody else's toothbrush even if I love them. I always take, I always take two. You do? It gross. See, I'm like more like grossed out by thing. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:45 I'm gross. But it tasted good, you thought. It tasted sweet. It was, yeah, it was nice. What? So Taylor, fuck, Teddy was 31 weeks pregnant when he started filming. Yeah. You didn't know probably, I mean, it's not up to you production schedule at all.
Starting point is 00:40:03 Not at all. So were you freaking out about the timing? And we actually, it was even, it ended up being a little bit more even delayed. than we originally expected. So we were, like, really freaking out. Like, Tate was, like, not okay. And I... Like, if it was you, pregnant, at 30,
Starting point is 00:40:18 you would fucking... She was a sport. She was such a good sport. She's so, like, she's just, like, so easy, breezy, beautiful cover girl. Thank God. Because, like, I'm a total... But what about appointment and bird?
Starting point is 00:40:29 We saw... We saw Stasi's doctor out in L.A. Okay. And she was also... He was also the doctor for one of our producers, Jenna, as well. So he was, like, highly recommended. He was wonderful.
Starting point is 00:40:39 but he was out of pocket and that sucked. Oh my God. Because our insurance is New Jersey. Oh, shit. Shit is right. But you came back for the birth. We did indeed.
Starting point is 00:40:51 Yeah. We did. Why did you say it like that? Well, I came back a little bit before me. Were you not at the birth? I made it for the birth. Oh, you made it for the birth. I made it for the birth.
Starting point is 00:41:01 Okay, okay. But I was, I was white knuckling it. Really to the last, because of production stuff. I, you know, I had work to do. Oh, wow. It had to be done. It was the, like, her, I mean, as long as you made it to the birth, why do you feel,
Starting point is 00:41:16 so you shouldn't feel bad about it? It was like the final week. It's just like, it's like her first time having a baby. It's scary. I mean, listen, we have an incredible network of family, like, so close by. So it's the most amazing thing ever. So I was like, I mean, listen, where was your family every other second of our lives? This is the time to really implement this, you know?
Starting point is 00:41:33 Yeah. So go crazy. Go nuts. Yeah. Move in with that. But like, let them take care of you. But I was like, you never know how early somebody can go. And so I was, you were nervous.
Starting point is 00:41:43 I was very, very nervous. I was unwell. So how did it work out in the end? Did you fin it? Did you wrap up? I made it back six days before she delivered. And because the baby came early. She was, I think she was due January 6th.
Starting point is 00:41:57 Yeah. And she came on December 31st on New Year's Eve. Oh, she came on New Year's Eve. Yeah. That's going to fuck up your New Year's Eve plan. You know what? I don't really care about New Year's Eve. Yeah, I don't care that one either.
Starting point is 00:42:06 So I'm kind of happy that we can be like, wait, it's her birthday. My baby was supposed to come on my birthday, and I was upset about it. And my husband was shaming me. No, I totally supposed to find that. You should want to share a birthday with your baby. No. And I'm like, you know what? Thank God.
Starting point is 00:42:19 It didn't go down that way because it's so stressful planning a kid's birthday. Yes. That like it would totally take over yours. And I don't even, I kind of matured in the birthday world. I don't care that much about my birthday. But it would still be like I then wouldn't matter at all. No, I don't. like, don't they take enough from you?
Starting point is 00:42:39 They take it all. They take it all. So you wanted to be on reality TV for so many years, finally on it. Finally. What weren't you prepared for? What surprised you? How ugly the right side of my face is. I know.
Starting point is 00:42:57 I mean, I know I didn't know about sides until you know about sides. I never thought I had a side. And then I watched episode two. But you've been on camera your whole life. A girl. I don't know what this is. I don't know what it is. Oh, you're like, what lenses are you using?
Starting point is 00:43:14 So I, okay, I just want everybody to know that I know I'm ugly in episode two. I want everyone to know that. I'm ugly. No, no, no. What's happening in episode two? I don't know. So here's a deal. So I didn't know that like carrot and treatments were a thing.
Starting point is 00:43:28 And I just was having like Jean Simmons hair. I was just running around. I was wearing a helmet constantly, a frizzy helmet. So you didn't get glam for filming? So in the very, very, very beginning, the thing is like everyone's like, listen, you're going to get glam, but you can't get glam for everything. You're filming too much. You would be like, you would spend everything that you're making on glam. So it's like you have to pick and choose glam. So for whatever reason, episode two is full of every scene that I chose to not have
Starting point is 00:43:52 glam. And it was precarid. And so I have this like, I don't want to fuck my hair up now, but like, you'll see it. It's like just like a clump of like baby bangs, just like this. Slap to the side of me. Girl, I swear to God, go back and look. Wait, at the birthday scene, what's seen? All the moment. important scenes. At the birthday scene, there's a scene with myself with Bo where we're talking. Oh, by the way, can we talk about that scene? Yeah. Okay. So I don't want to spoil anything for anyone. I don't want to spoil anything for anyone, but I will say, Bo opened up to you about issues that he was having. Yes. And it was such a beautiful moment. Thank you. Like you're seeing me. It really
Starting point is 00:44:29 meant the one they texted me that. Oh, I did text you. That was my first watch. I just rewatched it. But it was so sweet because he came to you with like the issues that he was having. And he really moated. Yeah. And you were there for him in such a sweet way. Thank you. We were just listening. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:48 You weren't giving any advice. I feel like listening is, listen, I'm not a great listener, as we know. There you are. But I like, sometimes I know when to be appropriate. And like when someone's talking about their feelings, you were just like, it's okay. You just have to like listen and just like comfort. We're going to fix it. We're going to fix it all.
Starting point is 00:45:06 That's so amazing. The thing is, is like, I've known. Then you ran and told Sussie. Well, you know. It's an interesting dynamic when you are. Was that a debate, though? Because I know what you said. You said you would want her to tell you.
Starting point is 00:45:18 I understand that. However, you have a friendship with him. Totally. And he confided Stasi and Bo's wedding. Yeah. And the reason I did was because, so when we were on tour together, it was just the three of us.
Starting point is 00:45:28 And, like, tour's crazy. And you're like, it's early morning traveling. And like, it's a lot. So obviously there's arguments that happen. Yeah. And so I kind of became like their de facto therapist. Yeah. that they were fighting so much, but just like when there was an issue, like, I was, like, there
Starting point is 00:45:41 to help. Yeah. But the thing was, was that I didn't always see her sign blindly. Right. She's my bestie, but, like, I love Bo. Bo and I were both Pisces, emotional kings and queens. So I just felt like I get Bo. And sometimes I feel like...
Starting point is 00:45:53 You can explain him maybe to her. Exactly. Yeah. And so that's why they had me officiate their wedding because they both felt so equally close to me. But when... But can he come to you with shit without you going to her? Well, the thing is, if I see an opportunity to have... help. Okay. So I felt like it wasn't like tattling. I felt like it was like I was like in a position
Starting point is 00:46:14 to like expedite a conversation that was inevitable. I see. I got you. So, but I was hoping he saw it that way. Okay. Because this is going to be your first time really dealing with like things you said in confessionals. What do you call it? Talk in. Interviews. I call it professionals. Yeah. Like you know what I mean? Like that which is a thing. It's a thing. Like say things and then people are going to watch it. I don't know who you get. to beef with yet. Can you tease anything? Like, are you good with everyone on the season? We see in previews that Christina Kelly isn't happy about Katie's return. Were you happy about Katie's return? Katie, I think I can definitely say this because Katie said when she was doing some press,
Starting point is 00:46:54 she said that she got a frosty reception for myself and Christina Kelly. Uh-huh. And she did. Okay. And I think everybody at this point has seen that clip where she says to Stasi, they either came out of you, you married them, or they're on your payroll. Yeah. Are you on the payroll? I mean, I don't know. Katie, am I? Where are you implying Katie? So I, and I'm also defensive of Stasi. So it's like that that payroll comment, I was like, that's not my state of Stasi and also what the fuck. So I, I, yeah, it didn't sit well with me, but I only had heard about it. So then when I saw the clip, I got remat again. The thing about me is I can always go back to my emotional state. And I text to Katie, I'm happy. I got mad at you. You did. But yeah, that means you're
Starting point is 00:47:37 good now. Yeah, we're good enough that I can be like, I'm so happy I was pissed at you because then seeing the clip back, I was like, oh, now I'm for real, real pissed. We'll be right back after the break. You guys, I've already told you about my little sister, Riel, had a baby, baby, Ellie, easiest baby on the planet. Like, oh, sleeps through the night, doesn't fuss, doesn't anything. I'm like, great, and happy for you in this experience. Obviously, she's a girl, and I'm so jelly that she gets to, like, dress her up in little pink, cute outfits, like, haven't had that. And I'm always like, oh, where is this footsie from? Wednesday, whatever you want to call it, PJ. And she's like, magnetic me. I'm obsessed. And I'm like, you know, I work with magnetic me,
Starting point is 00:48:14 right? You need a discount code, Mlerv. But yeah, she didn't even know when she was ordering it, which made me so happy because I discovered their pajamas when I started working with them. And I was like, I'm obsessed. Like, Noah has it. Lenny has it. Especially when they're babies, it makes it so much easier because the closures are magnetic, not zippers, not buttons. For those middle of the night changes, it's a game changer. Okay, you're not going to regret it. You're honestly going to change everything you have to magnetic me. But they also have cute stuff for toddlers and even for adults.
Starting point is 00:48:46 You could do mitchy matchy matchy with your kids. But it's not only that it's cute and functional. It's so freaking soft and gentle. By the way, my sister buying it just shows you everything because she literally checks for everything to be $100. percent organic kind. Like she's one of those moms. She's an almond mom. So Ellie is getting the best of the best and she's getting magnetic me. So if you want to give somebody something for their baby shower or for yourself, check out magnetic me. Trust me. Once you try magnetic me, you'll never want to look back or go back to
Starting point is 00:49:18 buttons or zippers. Your kiddo will love these outfits. And you will too. New customers can get 15% off site wide at magneticme.com. Don't wait. Go to magneticme.com. Get 15% off for a new customer. So as I grow older, I am very aware of people around me as well, because sometimes you can't tell on yourself, right, because you see yourself every day. But friends or actors or whoever is in the public eye and you're like, oh, okay, things shift as we get older. And one of the most important things, and you might not realize it is hair. Like, I wouldn't give up my hair health for anything. Like, if it's to be skinny, whatever it is, I'm like, my hair is important to me. and I take great care of it,
Starting point is 00:50:03 and I'll go to great lengths to take care of it and preserve it. And, you know, I did go through some hormonal changes after having babies. We want to use good shampoons and conditioners, but we also want to take care of it from the inside out. And that is done with taking NutriFle. If you haven't heard about NutriFle, it's the number one dermatologist recommended hair growth supplement brand, and it's a number one hair growth supplement brand that is personally used by dermatologists.
Starting point is 00:50:29 Okay. and it's not a one-size-fits-all approach, okay? Nutraful offers formulas for men, women, tailored to different life stages like postpartum or menopause. I took the postpartum formula after I had Lenny, and I highly recommend it. Let your hair be one less thing to worry about, see visibly thick or stronger, faster-growing hair in three to six months with Nutraful for limited time. Nutraful is offering my listeners $10 off your first month's subscription and free shipping.
Starting point is 00:50:56 When you visit Nutraful.com and enter promo code, not skinny 10. That's neutroful.com, spelled N-U-T-R-A-F-O-L. Dot com, use promo code not skinny 10. You guys already know my love for Quince goes beyond seasons. Okay, actually, I wanted to recommend

I keep coming back to Quince because they really focus on high quality. Like, you're not, compromising the quality. Don't you think for one second? I forgot about my favorite cashmere
Starting point is 00:51:33 sweaters for winter Mongolian cashmere. Only $50. Okay, they have denim that is often comfortable. They have organic cotton sweaters that are perfect for those evenings. By the way, Cardi, love a Cardi around. Manick at any weather. But they also have beautiful 14K gold jewelry. They have literally everything, you guys. I've said this before. My bed is from Quince. So you're paying for the quality, not the brand, markup. Okay.
Starting point is 00:52:10 So I highly recommend going to Quince if you want to closet refresh, okay? And for any staple items that you might be looking for, make your summer wardrobe feel easier. Okay, so I shared this with you before, but I've been grabbing this so much lately because I'm always running from one thing to the next,
Starting point is 00:52:47 whether I'm heading to record a pod, doing pickup, trying to squeeze an errand. Sometimes I need a little afternoon pick me up. and I've been loving the bottled Starbucks Rappuccino drinks. They're ready to go. I can just throw one in my bag or keep a few in my fridge. It's coffee. It's creamy. It's delicious.
Starting point is 00:53:03 And it's a treat. It's a midday treat. My favorite part is I don't have to stop somewhere, wait in line. I can just grab one and keep it moving, which is ideal. They come in a bunch of flavors. So whether you're a coffee, mocha, vanilla, caramel person, there's probably one you love. So if you need a little coffee break, but your coffee break also is your treat of the day, which is what it is for me. I wait for it, okay? But you want it to taste like your
Starting point is 00:53:31 favorite cafe drink. Keep an eye out for Starbucks, Rappuccino, chilled coffee drinks. And you can find these wherever you buy groceries or gas. Also, so easy to have on hand for those busy days that you need a little boost in your fridge. Guests are coming over. You're like, want to water? No, want a Starbucks Rappuccino drink? They will say yes. 10 out a 10. Okay. Find Starbucks, Frappuccino drinks, wherever you buy your gas or your groceries and get some joy in your life. Okay. And we're back.
Starting point is 00:54:06 Well, let's talk about this fourth wall situation because there is none on the show. Yeah, there is no such thing as a fourth wall. Like most shows, you can't discuss that it's a show. You can never say we're on a show. We're filming a show. That's a big no-no. Yes. When fourth wall is broken.
Starting point is 00:54:23 That used to be like reality TV. standard. With this, it's like, there's no fourth wall from the beginning. Stasi talks about, I wanted to do this show. This is show. I'm bringing Katie back for the show. Right. We're filming a show. My friends on a show. Like, it's very three walls. Which I love. Yeah. Because audiences are smart. They know that now. Like, I remember watching Housewives being like, they're not fighting about what they're fighting about. They're fighting about something else. I think it was like, remember, it was like Denise Richards and Renna were actually fighting about the fact that like Denise made more money than Renna and she was pissed about it. Like, wouldn't that have been so interesting?
Starting point is 00:54:54 to see that real fight. Yeah, you're not allowed. Even Caitlin Bristow was just on and she wanted to do a recap, but she still has an NDA with ABC. Oh, my God. That she can't talk about anything that didn't happen on the show. Do you get what I mean? Like anything that didn't actually air?
Starting point is 00:55:10 Right. So like anything. Yep. So like it's the show and you're on a show and you can't talk about it even being a show. Like we don't talk about Bruno, but it's like Bruno's everywhere. Right. So we do talk about Bruno. really do. And it's like, it was really liberating. It's really freeing. I, I love it as like a
Starting point is 00:55:29 TV junkie myself, like a watcher. I think it's fucking brilliant. And also it makes your life easier because you don't have to worry about that. You don't have to like play the game. Totally. Were you able to like be yourself? You know, it's so funny. Tay, I was just talking, I'm a spiraller. So like, we're like driving back from the Hamptons. And we've now watched the season twice. Like we watched the first time we were watching it. We were almost just like holding our breath the whole time. Yeah. So then we were like, let's like really watch it without like, like shitting our pants. And I start to spiral because I'm just a spirally girlie. And she was like, she was like, you were the most yourself I've ever seen you. And I was like, really? You promise?
Starting point is 00:56:06 And she's like, yes. The thing with me is I can't trust myself. Yeah. To know that I was my, do you know what I'm saying? I'm so hard on myself. Like Reddit has nothing on me. I'm worried sit it to myself. Well, it's like Hannah from Girl said, like, there's nothing you can say about me that I haven't thought about myself and worse, you know? Yep. Yep. So, but. I did feel like I was really myself, you know? But like then, of course, I second-guess things. And it's like, well, why, why wasn't I this version of me? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:32 Why was I that? Why was I more demure? Like, I'm just like very like, maybe I need to be cooler. Maybe it needs to be like Teddy. I'm just very hyper. Right. And, like, shut up. Literally, Taylor, shut the fuck up.
Starting point is 00:56:44 God, calm down. Do less. I do the most. It's exhausting to watch. And to be. No, it's not. It's not. That's the thing.
Starting point is 00:56:55 That's the condition. It feels normal. And then when I see it, I'm like, and it looks try hard. And plus also like so try hard. I'm like, I'm just going with you, but I don't think that.
Starting point is 00:57:07 Oh, girl. I don't know. We'll see how the, and with me, it's kind of the opposite. I feel like I'm doing the most. And then you'll see me, it looks like I smoked weed.
Starting point is 00:57:15 You know what I mean? But that's the best. But doing the least. And people are like, are you high? And I'm like, I am. So trying hard. Like, this is the most. I can do.
Starting point is 00:57:24 I smoked bath before I came. Yeah. Like, you know when people do those dancing videos and you're like, I could do that. And then you do it and like it just looks like you're in like slow-mo. Yes. Except I'm in fast mo. So when the season starts and Stasi's talking and again we break the fourth wall, she does say that she's changed a lot since everything that went down.
Starting point is 00:57:43 Yes. How do you think she's changed? How do you see it as her bestie? I have seen such a change in her. She is like, she is just Stasi two people. She's the best version of herself I've ever seen. She's really grounded now. She's way more empathetic
Starting point is 00:58:00 and she's much more thoughtful. Like knee-jerk reactive, Slapsedossy is gone. The dark passenger still lives inside of her body. Yeah. But like she, I just see her take pauses now. She really thinks things through.
Starting point is 00:58:14 I think she learned that like it's important to listen and like observe and take people's experiences in. I think before she was, very, like, quick to, like, judge. And she still can. Like, you still get Stasi reads. But it's, it's like with some compassion. She's more compassionate, for sure.
Starting point is 00:58:35 Do you think that has to do with, like, becoming a mom? 100%. Yeah. Yeah. I definitely think it's a big to do with becoming a mom. And then also, she's just, like, it's just growth in general. I mean, think about it. People saw her on TV when she was in her 20s.
Starting point is 00:58:48 Yeah. And now... It's like late 30s. Yeah, exactly. So, and I like... I'm excited for people to see. see this version of her. It's like the softer side of Sears.
Starting point is 00:58:57 Am I aging myself? Yeah, I just did. But I do think to, but I want people to know that like you will still get OG Stasi too. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Do you ever fight?
Starting point is 00:59:09 I'm not really, that's not really a part of a relationship. Were you scared that the show could like, yes, cause some stuff? Yeah, I'm always worried about, well, just like from watching reality television, I would be an idiot to not think that like...
Starting point is 00:59:21 Something could happen, come between you. Totally. try to do it for a story. And one of my favorite things that Stasi and I like don't fight. Yeah. But I'll tell you this. Being on a reality TV show is like being in family therapy.
Starting point is 00:59:33 And a producer told me this, if you think it, say it, which is very hard for me. Not that I'm fake. I'm just a pus. So like I just bury my feelings. I will stuff my shit, you know? But that's not really, you can't really get away with that.
Starting point is 00:59:46 So I think that the show brought us even closer together because it actually forced me to say things to her that maybe I wouldn't in the past have brought up. normally, like, scared of her? Not scared of her. I just, like, like... She can be scary. She can definitely be...
Starting point is 01:00:00 Intimidating. Intimidating, yes. Like, her favorite word is loser, right? Yeah. So this is a story that I love to tell. So we were driving the car one day to go to lunch. Oh, great. Tell a story you told a thousand times.
Starting point is 01:00:11 I love it. Bring it on. So for the 150th time, we were driving to lunch. And she, what, I was giving her directions. And so I think we went on like, Schwitz, Street or something. Sweetser?
Starting point is 01:00:25 I'm fucking oh. And I was like, I said it like stupid. I said it like sweet sweetener or whatever. And like I'm not from here. And she was like, that's not the street loser. And I was like, in the moment I was like, you know? But. And then we went to lunch and I was like being quiet.
Starting point is 01:00:41 She was like, why are you being weird? I was like, I'm a loser in the car. And she's like, oh my God, that's a term of endearment. And it's like I have really learned that like, that's the thing with hers. She like can be like kind of like, she can be like, knee-jerk reactive and use strong language. But I used to just kind of not say anything and it would maybe not sit well with me. Yeah. But I've like really opened up to her that like I'm actually quite sensitive and she gets it now. So I feel like she treats me like a little delicate flower now.
Starting point is 01:01:09 There you are. I am. It's like my older sister still doesn't get me after 30 years of my life where I'm the same kind of way in that way. Like Zossia's like I'll say things. And it's a joke or it's with humor and she'll still like get offended or bring it up. And is that annoying for you? It's very annoying for me. Right. So that was because I'm like, get me. I never want to.
Starting point is 01:01:30 Well, that's the thing with her too. She's like, I love like, I love you so much. You're kidding me. You're like my soulmate. Yeah. So it's like I also, so I think for a while I took it on the chin. But then it was like, well, now I'm going to say something. But her reception of it was so wonderful.
Starting point is 01:01:44 It made me go like, oh shit. Everybody should tell Stasi exactly what they're thinking. She actually respects the truth. She respects that. She respects directness. What she can't stand is if you're not. It sounds like Anna Wintor. You can look her in the eye.
Starting point is 01:01:56 Yes. Yeah. I feel like you can't with Annie. You can't even see her pupils. They're behind sunglasses. So here's my question. So in the previews, there's two moments that are kind of in the same vibe. One, no, no, no.
Starting point is 01:02:10 One on the show, you say something like, this is when Teddy was still pregnant. You say something like, I'm used to Stasi dictating kind of what I need to do. And now, you know, Teddy needs me or the baby on the room or whatever. Right. And another thing in the previews was Teddy saying, what are we going to like work around Cateralli? Yeah. Because now you're doing her pod with her.
Starting point is 01:02:35 Yeah. Even more so. Even more so. I mean, you're co-hosting. Yeah. You are on her show. Yeah. So what does that feel like?
Starting point is 01:02:46 And how did you manage out with your work? So here's the thing. The way I look at Stasi when it comes to work has no bearing on Stasi. She's like the best, easiest boss in the world. She asks for just like the normal shit. Like, can we record on Mondays? Like, Taze's like, oh, record on Mondays. We go out to the happens twice. I'm like, it's a job. Anyway, so the thing with me is I worked in corporate America for 12 years at Sirius. I had to work fucking Christmas because my manager at the time decided she wanted me to. Like, there wasn't even a reason. Yeah. So when I, tell you, I have worked with the most, like, chaotic bosses ever and, like, worked with management
Starting point is 01:03:24 that made no sense and just, like, torture me for the sake of torturing me. So when it comes to working with Dossie, I probably show up even more professional than I need to because, like, I've been trained by the devil themselves. You know what I mean? And I've been working since I was, like, 14, like, whatever, like hostessing, waitressing, like, all of it. So my work ethic is like insane. Yeah. And so I, like, always want to be the consummate professional. So, So even when we were on tour, I was like, Stasi on tour is my boss. And she was like, I'm not your fucking boss bitch. And I'm like, you're my boss and I'm your employee.
Starting point is 01:03:55 So, like, I have this thing with her that I feel like I've created. Yeah. And I do think it does anointe. I think she thinks that like it's because we're friends. But I'm like, it's actually because I'm like trying to be professional. Yeah. So. And it's part of your job.
Starting point is 01:04:11 Yeah, it really is. But I feel like I actually probably have more freedom than you wouldn't. Like, then I even let myself have. It's also crazy when you think about it. that like you're working so closely with your best friend. It's wild. I mean, we've, because it's a lot of people would be kind of weary to go into that. Well, we baby stepped it in.
Starting point is 01:04:30 So we started with tour. So that was like a really good litmus test. Yeah. And we've been talking about joining forces for podcasting for a very long time. So we took our time to really think it through. Yeah. We liked that we have a lot of separate stuff. Right.
Starting point is 01:04:44 So that's why it took so long for Sosy with Tate to come to fruition. And then the Netflix portion was so major. Yeah. Especially because we're on Hulu. It's like, so I was like, I want to make sure Hulu knows I'm professional. I want to make sure that Netflix knows I'm taking this seriously. And like our Stasi Wittate came out like in mid-Jan. Right.
Starting point is 01:05:00 It was like, so long maternity leave. But like also this job, we're like carnifoke. Our jobs are not like nine to five. Right, right. So it's like, yes, it sucks. There's a business together. Yes. There is a business together.
Starting point is 01:05:13 But then also like we get to work from home. And like we don't like our babies with us every single day. So there's like so many. any good sides of it. Right. So I just was hoping that Tate could see the, the positives versus like the negatives.
Starting point is 01:05:26 And does that, are we going to see more of that on the show? Yeah, you'll see some of that on the show. Well, you'll see us figuring it out. Figuring it out. Yeah. And you having to film in L.A. You never liked L.A.
Starting point is 01:05:39 You know, I go back and forth in L.A. Don't you feel like it's ingrained in us as New Yorkers to, like, repel L.A.? No, I mean, I know that I'm supposed to, but I love it when I go. I, I feel like after living there. Especially when you take a fab Airbnb and you're like in the hills, which I saw that you also took a fab Airbnb.
Starting point is 01:05:57 Yes. And you're like, this could be my life always. See, this is the thing. So living out there while filming, like, I mean, I fell in love. Yeah. Like I'm like, oh, she's L.A. now. Yeah. So I went to Airwan a lot.
Starting point is 01:06:11 Yeah. So as good as I thought it was in being. I know. I agree. There's too much hype, you know? So much hype. But like the weather's fantastic. The food scene is sick in L.A.
Starting point is 01:06:19 Like, I love it. The driving is ass. But aside from that, like... So what do you think could have happened? I really want to be, like... Bicostal? I want to be bicostal. We've actually...
Starting point is 01:06:30 I kind of like am. We like, by mistake became bicostal. Yeah. Between, I mean, now we have Dear Media studios here, but like for a long time, Deer Media was like heavily L.A. And then also, now that we're doing saucy with Tay,
Starting point is 01:06:43 a lot of stuff goes down that I have to be out there for. So, but I will tell everybody because people literally think I fly out there every week to do the show. I have a studio in New York that that's where I do Sossey, what's tell you from. Like, a with a matching backdrop. Okay.
Starting point is 01:06:56 And she wants to clarify, guys. Yeah, because people are so confused. I do have to ask you what you think about the Bo and his sister because this was a storyline on Vianna from Villa. Yeah. That Bo has a tattoo of his sister's name. And this carries into House of Sossi. Yes.
Starting point is 01:07:13 Which I'm team Sossy on that, obviously. Me too. Like, I don't know who wouldn't be. Get the fucking. tattoo. Also, you have other tattoos. Right. It's not his only tattoo. Right. So I'm with her. I would totally be offended. But also like for Stasi, it seems like she's way more accepting than I would be of this weird sister relationship. This is the thing. Misunderstood Queen. She really is like has a patience of an angel. She's very understanding. She's like they walk holding hands. Yeah. She's like
Starting point is 01:07:43 hanging out in the house with the sports. To be fair, Georgia is holding Bo's hand. That's what I mean. No, I know, but it's not like, he's like Georgia, like, okay, you know what I mean? But I'm also obsessed with Georgia. I love her so, so much. And what about Georgie? Georgie. Who stayed with you? George, too.
Starting point is 01:08:02 How long did she actually live with you for? For a minute, just for a minute. But, you know. What's a minute? I don't know. A minute. A moment in time. Okay.
Starting point is 01:08:10 Yeah. It wasn't, it wasn't like crazy long. It wasn't like invasive long. Okay. Listen, Tay and I are the consummate peacekeepers. So like when there's like this is a family. You know what I mean? So when like there's issues about you're there to help.
Starting point is 01:08:23 We are there to help. We're always just trying to figure out what we can do in order to bring everybody back to a state of peace. Another thing I thought of when I was watching the episodes was when you went on the PJ. Yes. And I was like, I remember the days of Spirit Airlines for you. Girl, I still. First of all. First of all, they don't exist.
Starting point is 01:08:42 Rip. Rip. I miss you. I love you. But I literally remember that. I love the big. seats and spirit. Oh my God, remember I was going to Hannah Berner's Badger Party. And we talked, I think, when you were at the airport. And you were like,
Starting point is 01:08:54 I can't believe I'm fucking going. The flight was like $1,500 for Spirit. And I wasn't in like the big seats, okay? I couldn't even get one of those. And then you're on a PJ baby. How far we've come. How far we've come. I know. But like, I mean, if Spirit was still around, I'd still fuck you. You still take it. Yeah. Well, okay, so I can't believe we're almost done. But I do want to, I saw this clip of you going off on Amanda Batula. Oh my God. And I will say, first of all, I'm sure that gave you so many fucking points, babe. People probably loved you for that shit.
Starting point is 01:09:27 Sometimes when I go on like virtual reality, because it's like page six, there's a lot of audience that they're like, sometimes they're like, who's this girl? You know what I mean? And here they were like, who's this girl? Yes. They died for you. It was amazing. I was, there was another clip from virtual reality.
Starting point is 01:09:41 Meanwhile, I went on page six yesterday. Did you? I did. And they played this game of like red card, green card, yellow card. Okay. Green is obviously good. Red is bad. Yellow is okay.
Starting point is 01:09:53 Okay. And different scenarios. And one of the scenarios was that new Amanda and West clip. It's like you guys, two things can be true. But he's so playing it up. Oh, he loves it. He's like, he's like, shop, lover, boy. He's posting a fucking carousel every day.
Starting point is 01:10:09 Girl. And his engagement has gone through. The roof. Through the fucking roof. It annoys me. Picture with Lindsay. Picture with Sierra. It's all very methodical.
Starting point is 01:10:22 Uh-huh. Toots. And I'm the type of person, this is why I could say like green flag for that video is because like I don't have extreme feelings about reality TV people. I don't like hate and I don't like love. I'm like, give me the entertainment. So with him, it's like I never like thought Kyle was a bag. I like him.
Starting point is 01:10:40 I met him. He's nice. He's fun. But like I'm also not. gonna because that happened with the man then with. Pretend like he didn't cheat on a man. You're like shit. Pretend like he didn't cheat on.
Starting point is 01:10:49 And people literally, you guys, put a Taylor Swift like song on a backdrop of like in the city scenes of like he's trying to like make it work and like she's awful. And I'm like just because you put a Taylor Swift song and because he was pouting for the camera to be like
Starting point is 01:11:10 I can't. It's a lot. But I love that hell babe. I've been coming for Kyle for years and I saw him. That's scary. I know. I know. That's a rind.
Starting point is 01:11:18 And he knows it. And I keep running into him and he's like, you talk shit about me. Wait, maybe he DM? Oh, girl. You back in the day. I remember that. So it started off. I just like.
Starting point is 01:11:27 Because Team Hannah. Because it was Team Hannah stuff. Absolutely. But I was OG Team Stephen McGee. Wait. I met him in an event. I die. He's pretty great guy.
Starting point is 01:11:36 So, toots. So we were friends. So I'm loyal through and through. So I was like Team. You're loyal to Stephen McGee? Well, I was. The thing about me to my loyalty comes and goes. I'm a fair weather loyalist.
Starting point is 01:11:48 So he and I were close and he was like, Kyle, this Kyle. That's what I was like, oh, Kyle. So then, but then Stephen was let go from Summerhouse. And then he was like mad at Hannah because he was like, Hannah took my spot. And I was like, you're a gay man. Hannah did not take your spot. And so then he was kind of like be loyal to me.
Starting point is 01:12:03 And I was like, now you're asking for too much loyalist. I love you, Stephen, but it's gone too far. Hannah's my girl. So then we kind of backed off of it. Anyway, so then I ran into Kyle. And he was like, you talk shit about me. And I was like, I'm sorry. Right.
Starting point is 01:12:14 And so then I was like, let's be friends. And then another girl around with Hannah. And then I was like, fuck you, bro. Right. So anyway, I saw him at last year's watch Crapins. Yeah. Like, whatever they do their golden crappies award. Did he say anything now?
Starting point is 01:12:25 And he was like, yo, can you like get off my dick? Like, you're so mean to me. By the way, he would never say that today. He would not give a shit about you today. No shit. He's flying high. So he would ignore me. He would spit on me.
Starting point is 01:12:36 So anyway, I was like, yeah, I guess so. But like, dude, I have to like speak my truth about you. Yeah. It's my job. It's my job, but you're Dingleberry. So I was like, listen, I like, I am kind of sorry, but I'm going to still do what I do. Yeah. So here we are. Here we are. I warned him. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I agree. Yeah. We got to speak our truth. Well, I love you. I love you. Thank you for coming. I'm so excited. I'm honored. Honored to be here. I love you. And How's a Sossi air is July 29. Yes. Two episodes drop on free form. Oh, that's fun. Yeah. So it's going to be like little by little. No. Two episodes drop on freeform. And then the next day, July 30th. Hulu, all of them. Hulu, Disney Plus. The whole season drops. Okay, everybody goes to see Taylor's right side. Oh my God.
