Did you know, healthy hair starts with a healthy scalp?
And the little care goes a long way everybody.
So weighs scalp serum, balances, hydrates, and soothes irritation,
causing an ideal environment for hair to thrive.
So this makes total sense if you think about it because like the hair starts at the root
at the scalp. So we need to start from there. And I love weight scalp serum. I can use it on
wet hair or dry hair. It doesn't cause my hair to look a different way. It doesn't interfere with
any styling. Literally just have to drop this skincare inspired serum on your scalp daily and leave
it in morning or night, wet or dry hair. And it helps support the appearance of thicker and
healthier hair. It balances and hydrates the scalp. And it literally just creates an environment for
the hair to thrive. It's all vegan.
gluten-free, has adaptogens in it,
hyluronic acid, red clover, peptides,
and it's safe for color-treated
and chemically treated hair.
Check out Wei if you haven't yet
because the way to healthy hair starts with the scalp
and Way now has an all-new scalp serum
and you could check out Jen doing a tutorial

This is Amanda Hirsch from the Not Skinny but Not Fat podcast.
You might know me from Not Skinny Bonaput on Instagram where I spend my time talking
about reality TV, celebrities.
everything happening and pop culture.
I also talk to some of our favorite
celebs and reality TV stars.
We talk about what's going on.
Tune in every Tuesday
and just feel like you're talking to shit
with your best friends in your living room.
Damn.
You know what I was just thinking about you
is that you're the new triple threat.
Megan Traynor. You are singer, podcaster, TikToker. Beech. I'm famous on TikTok. I've never been more
famous because of TikTok. I go out in public. They're like, I saw your TikTok this morning. I'm like,
you're welcome. How? Okay, first of all, welcome to the show, Megan Trainor. It's an honor.
Honor. No, I am honored. I don't know why I'm here. Thank you for having me. I love you.
I love you. You are, I mean, I was just talking to my sister about it.
She was like, I need to text my friend from college that you're going to have Megan Traynor on.
Like, that was our college.
No, this is a funny thing.
My sister goes to me.
Oh my God.
Do you know the song all about that bass?
Like, I love that song.
And I was like, no, you're the only one that, like, how, you're so underground.
You're so, like, eclectic.
Like, what a, nobody knows it.
It's such a, you know?
Yeah.
But this is wild because starting from the beginning, there is the, like, Megan Trainor, the singer.
that like you came into our world,
you shook thing up with your do-up, with your vibe.
And then there is Megan Trainor, like the Gen Z TikToker over here.
Thank you.
Thank you so much for saying that.
Yeah.
And the mom, but like how do you, how is that balance, first of all,
the fact that you're a singer, you're so talented,
you're a songwriter, you write your own songs.
But yet people can come across TikTok and see one of your TikToks
and be like, this TikTok girl is so awesome.
I mean, how does she do it all?
I'm also writing a book.
It's going to be great.
I want to be an actress too.
But when I had a baby, I was like,
there's nothing I can't accomplish, you know?
Yes.
You know how like that's like the hardest thing we've ever done?
And I'm like, oh, everything's easy.
Piece of cake.
Let's rock.
And for him, I want to achieve all.
I want to be like, yeah, I can also write a book and I can be a TV star.
And I could also like just to show him like,
here's what you could do someday, you know?
Because when I was younger, I didn't even dream I could win a Grammy.
And now I'm like, oh, my dreams weren't big enough.
Got it.
Let's dream more.
So dream on.
Okay.
You said so many good things.
Sorry.
One of them is, you're like, I'm sorry.
I'm just pulling them all.
So inspirational.
First of all, you are.
It's so true what you said about being a mom because were you scared at all to get pregnant?
Were you like, is this going to stop my career?
Like, it's going to be then for me or did you not have those friends?
I'm...
I wanted a baby since I was like 20.
So I was ready and excited.
But I, there was a part that's, like, I remember when I did the four, I did a TV show where I judged with Diddy and Calid.
We judged artists and musicians.
And I remember when I booked the gig, they were like, but that's what old retired people do.
Like, you're too young and in your career for that.
And I was like, there's no rules anymore, old people.
Like, what do you mean?
And it was one of the best things I did for my career.
I got to be best friends with Diddy and Khalid.
And everyone came up to me and was like, I saw you on the floor.
And I was like, see, this is great.
So any opportunity is a great opportunity.
But I think a part of me when I have having a baby, I was like, well, is this it?
Like, because I was even told by industry people, this is dark.
I've never mentioned this.
I was writing for J-Lo.
And I was like, but how come her song isn't like number one all over the world?
Like, how come it's not just so easy for her?
She's worked her whole life for this.
and some man told me
because she's a mom
and people don't care when you're
and I was like,
you're the worst part of my movie right now.
Like this is the dark part
and it's you.
But like that's bringing me back to JLo
who like literally would die to hear that
because did you watch her documentary
when she was so upset about the Oscar
and you're like,
girl, you have everything in the world
but she's such a beast
and she wants to be the best at everything
that she wants...
And she does it all herself, dude.
I saw her, like, I wrote a song for her
and I saw...
She showed me how she did all the creative.
Like, we can hire teams of people to do that for us
and we approve it and blah, blah, blah.
She creates it.
Like, on Pinterest, on her phone with apps.
Like, she figures this shit out.
And she's like, I will wear a hat.
I will look like this.
Here's the font.
I did it myself.
Boom, single artwork.
And I'm like, oh, fuck.
That's what taught me.
Like, I have to be more involved with my art.
I was like, I just thought I was supposed to write the songs.
Now she showed me, I could do everything.
So she's my queen forever.
But yeah, that was very discouraging to hear.
And I kept that in me forever.
And when I wanted to have a baby, I was like, is this the end?
Or could I go to a different career?
What should I do?
Like, will they not play me on radio anymore?
So no.
So you're saying it even motivated you more to like do more things.
Yeah.
And gave you more drive.
That's it.
He's so freaking cute.
And now I'm realizing like he looks.
just like you.
Thank you.
That's my boy.
Everyone's like copy and paste of your husband.
I'm like,
just because he has red hair doesn't mean they look exactly like.
That's my nose.
Those are my trainer eyes.
He's got daddy's lips.
Thank God because I have no lips.
But yeah,
he's a perfect blender baby of us.
I know.
I hate when there's that mom and dad competition of who the baby looks like.
There's always that it's like,
oh, he's all.
Well, when it's all you,
it's fine though.
You know, they're like he's all you.
I'm like,
I know.
Yeah, yeah.
We can give him like the.

com slash not skinny go to bass travel.com slash not skinny for 15% off your first purchase that's base
be i s travel.com slash not skinny okay megan your new album yes taken it back I'm obsessed I love when I read
that the reason you called it taken it back is literally is literal which I love literal shit it's like
you're literally taking it back to your sound trying to be as simple as I can be yeah just here's what
it is. Because I did, my last album was called Treat Myself. And so many people got that wrong. And we're
like, you're an album, treat yourself coming out. And it was like complicated for people. I was like,
I'm just trying to take care of myself. That's what this is about. So now I'm like, taking it back to
the doo-wap, you know? And people are like, are you taking back your power? I'm like, sure.
Yeah. Uh-huh. That's it. So tough. You're taking it back because you, because of this TikTok blend,
that you've become, you realize that, like, people are loving that old sound of yours, right?
Yeah, honestly, TikTok, my song title, that's seven years old, blew up on TikTok recently.
And that was supposed to be my second single after all by the base.
But lips are moving was like flying.
So we were like, let's go with that one.
And it was the best, because I was always sad about that.
I was like, man, title never got its chance.
Like, we even did a music video and no one got to see it.
And then this blew up and I woke up like it was my birthday.
I was like, is this the greatest day ever?
Like, are you sure?
It's blowing up and I saw all the videos.
And I was like, I have to do the dance.
And so I started doing the trends with my friends and it popped off.
And it like started a whole new chart for Billboard.
And I was like, this is amazing.
I'm here.
I'm back, you know?
So for us TikTok grandmas, because I'm one, you posted title and it went viral or somebody else posted it?
Someone else, like a fan did it.
And I just jumped on and was like, absolutely.
And it was me and Joja Siwa and we did the dance and it popped off.
So like there's no rules.
There's no rules anymore.
Have fun.
Be yourself.
Post whatever you want.
Something's going to pop off.
And then you're famous.
Boom, bam.
And that never, and that was just like a random thing.
The fan account did the title.
And then after that you realize that you want to go back in studio and make an album that's taken
a back. Well, it was, it was like a couple
things. It was one of those moments that's like, it's a
universe talking to me because I'm listening.
So like when I had my first songwriting
session, the girl I was with Mozilla
who wrote, I came in like a
wrecking ball. You know, she's a great
songwriter. She was like, you know what's crazy?
These songwriters coming in, or
these artists that I've been doing sessions
with say, I want to do that Megan Trainers sound.
And I was like, honored, but I was like,
what? Which one?
You know, like I do so many. If you listen to
all my albums, I do
Rihanna Young Pop, like SOS, and I do like, I don't know, Britney Spears stuff and Instinct
stuff, and I do do, that was my problem is I couldn't stay in one lane, you know, and I would
compare myself to, like, when they would talk about how Bruno Mars did so many different genres.
I was like, well, I'll be the female Bruno Mars.
I am not, but like, I wanted to be that.
And so when she said they want your sound, I was like, are you talking about like the doo-wop sound
that's also popping off on TikTok?
like is that what everyone wants again me to just do my like dear future husband um so i was like
that's easy for me i could do that at my sleep so i started writing songs and the first one we did
that was like that was called don't i make it look easy and it was about being a mom i literally
packed up my one-year-old in all his bullshit and was like let's go to the studio and i'm exhausted
holding my coffee and my gallon and i was like don't i make this look easy this is bullshit like mom's
go to work like this and some moms don't get to bring their kids and I get to bring my kid like
this is fucked and we're supposed to be like everything's perfect on my way and so I wrote don't I make
a look easy but lyrically I changed it to be I posted a picture and everything's perfect and you'll
never see me cry because Instagram is lies you know I love that and bad for me the song you're that's
the first song you released from the from the new album yeah fun surprise I didn't know that would be the
first choice, but when I played like five songs to everyone, they would all go, oh, that song.
So that became everyone's first pick. And I was like, are we certain we want to do a ballad in the
summer? And they were like, yeah, this one will move. Wait, are ballads more wintery? Yeah. You're
supposed to be like, upbeat summer. But that's why people go summer bop. This is it. Song of the summer.
Like if you get song in the summer, it's probably going to be Grammy nominated for best song of the year.
Because that's where everyone makes their memories
And that's their like
The club and like Ibiza
That was the most fun I had all year
So that's how that happened
So everyone's
And bad for me is like
Sing in the car when it's raining
Like cry
No actually like
It's but it still has like a
You know
Oh we bought we bought
Yeah yeah yeah yeah
I give you church
And
Oh yes
I give you church
But yeah it was
And it was written off a true story
story too. So it's so weird doing promo being like, so this trauma was, this trauma inspired this
song I have. And yeah, it was a big purple. Right. Because it's probably so weird for you. Like you're in
music. You pour out your heart on paper. But then it's out in the world. And then people wonder, like,
who is this about? What is this about? And you have to like set those boundaries of like, this is my
way to share rather than like, you know, it's about so and so, like, how do you navigate that?
I don't say names. Yeah. I say, it's a family member and my whole family knows. And they,
I send it to the rest of my family and they were like, wow, this is what we needed to heal.
And when I talk about it, that person didn't respond to my letter that I wrote with my therapist
for months. And then reach out to my other family and was like, is this song about me? And I was like,
Oh, God, it's coming back, you know.
But then they finally reached out, and it was a very well-written letter back.
Like, I think it was a therapist, too.
And it was meaningful, and it was great.
And it'll take years to...
But you still don't want their love.
It's just like what I tried to say is in my letter was a lot of my family aren't, like, therapy people.
There aren't, like, they're undiagnosed and unmedicated.
You know what I mean?
And I'm the first of my family.
family to be like, hey, my brain feels a little broken. I would like some help and support
and some love. And I'm in therapy every Wednesday. I'm on my antidepressants. And now I'm
thriving and living the best life. Yes. And I look at, I look at everyone else in my family
struggling. And I'm like, let me help you. Or like, let me use me as an example. Take the drugs.
Take the drugs. No, I'm like, use me as an example. Because clearly your life, it's hard to watch
you suffer. And it's, and you can't ever make someone change. They have to.
want it themselves. So in my message, I was like, here's all, here's all my mental collapses and
here's when I decided to ask for help. And I don't recognize you right now. And I love you and I miss
you who you were. And it's not, it's not shameful to ask for help. And I hope you do someday.
Because there are things you could do to help, you know? And, and it was, it was a sweet letter,
but it was, it's probably tough to take in. A lot of people, I feel like therapists also recommend
sometimes even just writing the letter and not sending it.
Help.
Yeah.
So we did a, for a campaign, my team is so smart.
I was like, damn, team.
They made a website called my therapist told me to.com where you just go there and you write an
anonymous letter just for therapy to get it out.
And that's it.
Do you see it?
Do you see the letters?
Yeah.
Anyone can go see them.
But it's not like, dear Stacy, you know, it's not specific.
And it's not like from your son.
And, you know, it's, it's all random and anonymous.
And it's, but it's nice to read them, too, to be like, oh, man, I have that same
exact feeling.
What was crazy is I teased bad for me on TikTok.
And it blew up because so many people, I have this experience with family members.
And when I played this song, that's what we notice is every one person in the room would
cry.
And my friends, they would cry and they would go, my mom, or they would look over and be like,
my sister, you know?
So I was like, oh, everyone has this, which is our person.
but nice to know I'm not alone.
So what if you just delete the bloodline,
it could also be about, you know,
yeah, toxic friends, toxic relationships.
And that's what people are doing.
They're like, I needed this for my ex so bad.
Or the comments were like,
God, I needed this in 2019.
Like, where was this song?
And that's when you're like,
I'm a superhero.
I have a very amazing, important gift
and let me help the world.
You know, that's when it's not just writing songs
and putting them out.
It's like, I'm going to help someone
and make a difference.
And I can go to sleep being like, I did that shit, period.
When I tell you the funniest story, my mom came over and I gave her a skincare product.
And then I kept Osea for myself.
And she goes, wait, what about this?
And I was like, no, this I want.
And she was like, of course you want the good stuff.
Like, of course that you're not going to give me.
So Osea is really chic, really lux and just gives you dewy summer skin.
all year long and not just for your face, you guys, because I learned from a very, very experienced
amazing ascetician that, and it made so much sense. She was like, why, like, your face is such
a small part of your entire body, like, and we put such an emphasis on that. And we should really
be caring about the products we use on our body. So Osea has amazing celebrity loved body oil
that is really part of my daily routine. It's seaweed infused and it really makes the skin look
healthy, smooth and nourished and glowing. And if it has the Mama Hirsch stamp that it's like also
good for you, then you know it's freaking good. It has amazing quality and value. And just
anything Osea does, it's just so rich. Even their body butter I use all the time. And it's really
amazing. So you guys should check out Osea and find your new skincare and body care favorites at

So we were talking a little bit about how different it is with the kid.
This was your first album that you wrote.
Whoa, that is a jug woman.
Is that the Chloe Kardashian jug?
It's a gallon from Amazon.
Oh my God.
It's huge.
Yeah.
Thrown off of that.
Yeah.
I mean, see,
now I'm feeling like a worthless little shit with my tiny one.
No.
You refill it.
This shit is heavy.
What am I getting from this?
That is heavy.
What did you feel differently recording this album having a kid versus like when you were
making music without a kid?
I feel like, I personally feel like everything is so different with the child.
Like every birthday I have, like every event, I'm like, it's different because he's here.
Like my birthday feels different.
Yeah.
Everything sort of, it adds that special thing.
Yeah, my album before I had the baby, I kind of blacked it out, you know?
It was just like, go to work, come home.
This album I got to do at my house in my basement and I got to have baby breaks.
That's what we would call him, where my husband would bring down the baby at lunchtime.
And we would all, all the producers were like, oh, my God, a baby.
And we'd all get to hang out with a baby.
And it was like the best motivation to write the best thing I could possibly write.
And I heard something once where Childish Gambino said his music got much better after he had babies.
So I had that the whole time in my brain of like, my music's going to be the best that's ever been ever.
And I've noticed my songwriting is like up at a whole new level.
And I swear it's because I gave birth.
It's like, I finally have been through some shit.
Like C-section was tough.
C-section. Oh, you had a C-section? Yeah. So what was your pregnancy and birth experience like?
Pregnancy was fine. I wasn't like nauseous in the beginning. I was just sleepy. So I was like,
well, got lucky with that. And then I got gestational diabetes like halfway through. So that sucked. So I was
like, I even hated the exam. Like yeah. Like I had to do that. Like I was anxious about it.
We had to do that like multiple times. And I would just cry. And then I was on a diet basically. And then I had to
test my blood four times a day.
And if I wasn't in the right number range, then I failed.
And they would threaten me with insulin.
And some people are so bad that they have, like,
they have it so bad that they have to shoot themselves with insulin.
I had a friend that was covered in bruises, hated shots,
had to do a shot of insulin in her belly all day long while being pregnant.
It wasn't fun.
And I was working.
I was like selling a Christmas album.
So I'd be on Zoom with people.
And my husband would be pricking my finger, testing my blood,
shoving snacks in my mouth.
And I'm like, sorry, I have to eat this, make of my blood.
chucker like it was not fun but then my C-section happened he was breached so we had to do it
and I got a lot of comments of people being like no do this trick and flip it or just push him out
it'll happen I was like I don't want to die no thank you and and he came out and there was no cry
it was seven minutes of getting him out of there and you feel movement and you smell it and you hear
it but then they popped him out it was like the biggest pimple ever popped it was like and I'm
waiting for that cry and I got no cry and I was like I'm a bitch and I finally said where's that
cry and they're like so he's not doing so good so we're going to bring him up to the NICU
and my husband's like well can she see him and they're like oh we should really go and some nurse
grabbed him showed him to me I got my picture and they left and I told darrell I said whatever
happens today if they're like it's the baby or it's your wife and you have to pick you pick
me like I was like you save me we'll figure it out and that was our deal because I'm terrible
no you're not terrible but so the doctor was like but it's funny that you thought that was happening
after you had already but you were probably like medicated or something I was like you're fine they're like no
you're fine yeah well they were like Darrell you should go be with the baby and he looked at me like
the rule was I can't leave my wife he was like are you okay if I and I was like
Oh, like, don't go be with the baby, be with me.
And the doctor's like, yo, you should really go.
So he was like, I was like, all right, fine, go be with a kid.
And so he left me for, I was like 45 minutes getting so back up, like, hope they're okay.
Hope my baby's like doing well.
And yeah, I had no idea.
So that was traumatic.
And at the time, I was so drugged up that I was like, hey, he's going to be fine.
The doctors are trained so well to be like, everything's great and smiley.
and be like, he's just not waking up.
And I was like, okay.
So I call my mom like, dude.
How are you making this funny?
I don't know how you're making me laugh right now.
My therapist is like, oh, so when you're uncomfortable, you go to comedy.
I was like, mm-hmm.
That's my problem with therapy, though, Megan.
I want to make my therapist laugh all the time.
Me too.
I'm like, this is my show.
This is my show.
We're friends.
She likes me.
I'm probably her favorite patient.
I definitely am for sure.
So, yeah, then they went up there and he was in the NICU for like five days.
I didn't get to hold them.
I didn't get no skin to skin.
My boobies never made milk.
I was like, fuck.
All of this is like, and my family were cows.
Like they all breastfed had like extra milk.
I had nothing.
And they're like, maybe it's because you didn't get that skin to skin.
Right.
I got sacked, my little boobies.
Wait, so from the beginning, so did you not breastfeed?
Oh, no, I did the triple threat.
I did the triple nightmare one where you wake up and we had a feeding tube of breast milk attached
to my nipples.
trying to pretend to trick my body into knowing I'm breastfeeding.
Does that work?
No.
They're like, this is the new, the new amazing medicine that, or the new way that just came out this year.
And I was like, this sucks.
Like, it's just attached to my nipple.
It's a feeding tube that my husband's pushing the milk through.
It splatters all over his face.
He can't get, they told me my nipples were too small so it wouldn't get in his mouth.
It was a whole thing.
I'm jealous of small nipples.
Really?
Oh my god
Tici weenchy
But after like months of trying that
And I would pump
And so then we would have to feed him with a bottle
While I pumped
It was a nightmare
But we did it
And after three months
My pediatrician was like
Please please stop
Like you look exhausted
He's not gaining weight
Let's just put more formula in him
And I was like great
Fuck it
Like as long as the coach says tap out
I'm good
At least I know I went all the way I could go
And when I, I did a TikTok about like turning off the faucet, they were like, don't feel bad that you couldn't make it to four months, you know?
I was like, oh, I didn't feel bad.
I was just announcing a fun TikTok.
You're not a failure.
They're like, you are not a failure.
You are strong.
I was like, oh, I didn't come out here being like, I failed.
You know, I did it like, wow, I made it three months.
Yeah.
Well, good for you.
And speaking of being a mom, you got all of Instagram super jelly with your mom.
with your mom getaway with your famous friends.
Hillary Duff was there.
I should have known you would talk the tea.
Yes, Hillary Duff was there.
There was a little like Mandy more.
We missed you.
So we're like, oh, Mandy was supposed to come.
Mandy was supposed to come, but she couldn't make it because she was with her husband.
Ah, she's such a family gal.
She's so cute.
She's such a family gal.
So am I.
So the whole trip actually was designed for me because I was talking to these other moms.
because I said, I've never been a day apart from my husband.
And they were like, what?
And I was like, yeah, he's my best friend.
We, like, if I'm pooping, he'll come hang out with me.
Like, we're always together.
And they're like, we got to save Megan.
We got to get her out of there.
So they, like, we're planning this trip for months.
And I was like, okay, let's go.
That's why some of my comments from them were like,
she survived.
She made it one night away from her man.
Wait, oh, it was a night.
It was a sleep.
Yeah, so.
It was a sleepover.
And you've never stayed away from your husband?
Not by choice, no.
I mean, I'm kind of the same way, which, like,
you're going to make me go to the toilets,
which I know, you know,
I know you probably been asked a lot about it.
Like, I thought we were like by each other all day,
with each other all day.
You guys have toilets next to each other in your house on purpose.
You hold hands when you pee on purpose, yeah.
Not like a mistake.
She bought an old house, having it up to the toilets.
And, and then you, you clarified on Twitter, which, like, I think is the funniest tweet ever.
You're going to look back in many years.
And you were just clarifying to the...
That was my one tweet.
So why did you decide that you decided?
So you clarified on Twitter that although you have the toilets, you pee there, but you only pooped once and you're probably not going to poop together.
No, not, you pooped once.
You only pooped together once.
Yeah?
Right.
Right.
Right.
You didn't connect with the poop.
together. Well, because everyone just thought we were just taking dumps together all day long.
And I was like, hey, to clarify, it's a peeing issue. And it's a, we don't poop together
because his poops are vicious. And mine don't smell. But like, we don't do that. We did it once
and we were cracking up laughing. We're like, oh my God, no, never again. But yeah, I'll pee and
be like, come pee with me, you know. And then. But he stands and you sit. So, like, no, he don't stand.
Come on now.
he's a papa he's a father he sits down men who stand at an older age are silly
goose is he's not older he's like 30 he's literally 30 but he sits he sits and chills if i was a man
i'd be sitting yeah i mean they could just plop it in you know yeah yeah you also made a
tic-tac recently about him that if we don't know already he's the the kid from spy kids which
like really was a brain explosion emoji for me because it's like oh oh
I won.
How did you meet?
You'll love this.
It was a double date with Chloe Grace Moretz and Brooklyn Beckham at the time.
Shut the fuck up.
I do love that.
I had no idea who Brooklyn was.
I was like, you're so cute.
Who are you?
Why are the paparazzi chasing us?
Like, and then.
You were friends with Chloe?
Yeah, like barely, like new friends.
And I was like, I want to meet someone nice.
And she was like, my really good friend, Daryl is so nice.
I was like, okay.
And so we went on a double date.
And she brought me.
do her closet and you know how brooklyn's mom has like a clothing line that's super famous had no idea
so she was like his mom gave me this shirt and i was like that's crazy are the same size that's so
nice dumb bitch i had no fucking idea what i was doing i'm talking about her date i love you think
to my coffee oh my stop that was planned i don't buy it wasn't planned oh my god he might
I said when my coffee gets here, fucking interrupt my interview and give it to me.
What's your coffee order?
Albreads.
I wasn't a coffee drinker told him.
Ice chaccatino, 16 ounces, ice, one espresso, almond milk.
That's it.
No sweetie.
No sweetening?
I don't think so.
The almond milk is sweet-ish.
Oh, the almond is sweet.
Yeah.
Oh, how cute is he that he comes in and brings you coffee?
I love that.
Oh, it makes me breakfast every morning.
And how long have you been together?
Six years.
When is this going to end?
No.
I'm just kidding.
Yeah. And how long?
I was 22.
Now I'm 28, six years and married for three.

Okay. So you have to tell the people that are wondering.
Okay. So the peeing and pooping together, that doesn't affect at all like the sexualnessness.
Mm-mm.
There's still fire in the bedroom.
Have you had like weird sex things happening though after you had a baby?
You pushed yours out?
I pushed mine out.
No, guys don't care.
I was, it took me time.
No, but does like your,
does your poon hurt like when you're?
No.
I'm having that kind of issue lately.
Also,
Daddy Daryl is a big boy.
So I'm,
I'm like literally going to a doctor soon to be like,
hey, shit hurts.
There's something wrong with me.
Really?
But you didn't even push out of your vagina.
So how could that be?
No.
I think it just got smaller.
I don't know.
I think there's like,
Something could have tilted to, they say, if you have a C-section.
Oh, you know what it could be, though?
When did you start the antidepressants?
No, that was like five years ago.
It was a long time ago.
Sometimes that could dry you out.
I know, no, but it's like not even, it's just like it hurts.
It's like uncomfortable.
But he does everything else for me, so Mama is satisfied, you know?
Like, we have our tips and checks.
We have like a menu.
We're like, what would you like tonight, you know?
That's really nice.
I agree with...
first of all,
I love where this conversation is going.
I agree with people to think that like,
that like,
you know,
sex,
sexual time needs to be penetration.
And I personally,
even more enjoy the stuff that isn't,
if that makes sense.
Right.
Yeah.
That's me.
And also,
you don't need to clean up.
Like,
it's less of a,
a keep situation,
you know?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Let's bring it back to like,
you know,
you know,
12th grade.
Like, I love that.
Yes.
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, we're young and fun.
So that we do that stuff a lot, you know?
And it doesn't interrupt with the, with the poop and stuff or whatever.
But no more, just once you poop together.
And since then it's just being.
Yeah, he knows I don't dig that.
And he doesn't dig that either.
And he hates that we still talk about it.
I know.
Okay, last time.
Let's make it.
Now, last time we're talking.
It'll never.
I'll be 90.
They were like, how those toilets?
You know, I'm like, I moved.
wait if you move you're not you're not going to put in two toilets again no I for sure am it was the best it's the best part of my house it's the greatest I'm obsessed wait okay so back to the weekend away with the famous mom friends are your closest friends why are you laughing I want to get some tape from there okay okay okay okay what do you want so are these your like IRL friends you hang out these it's bizarre dude so Hillary invited
to me because she knew we were talking
when we were pregnant at the same time together.
Our babies are like months apart.
And she was like, if I start a music class
for the babies, would you join?
And our kids are three months old.
Like our kids can't lift their head.
But anything Hillary Duff asked me to do,
yes, queen, I will literally lick the floor for you.
Like, I'll do whatever you ask.
I was like, yes, so fun.
More excuses to hang out.
And I showed up, day one, Mandy Moore.
And me and Daryl are squeezing each other's hands.
be cool, be cool, be cool, be cool.
Like, Ashley Tizze, and all these other like boss-ass queens.
And I was just like, be cool, we're not worthy.
And they're always like, I named my hamster Mandy Moore.
And I was like, shut up.
And like, fucking.
And we, every like Sunday we go to this class.
And then it morphed from, and they've been since three months old.
And our kids are a year and a half.
It's so, thank you.
And it's so nice because I had no friends that were pregnant with me.
All of my friends are even married.
Like, I'm the youngest, weirdest one here, just trying to push out kids.
So when I go see all these moms, I'm like, hey, guys, does sex hurt for you too nowadays?
We're like, what's going on?
Like, I remember of the first month, I was like, is your period just not coming back ever?
Because mine's like sketchy.
And so it's really nice to have a group of gals that's like, we're in a group chat and we're all, like, they're just texting me right now.
I'm just like, hey, my kid's not sleeping.
What do I do?
It's just so nice to have that.
Oh, I'm so happy.
That is the cutest story ever.
And did you have fun?
How was it being separated from them for a night?
It was fun.
It was great.
It was we just like, it was like a bunch of moms who have been working so
hard and like eating really clean and never raging.
And we got there and had apple sprits and drank and swam in the pool and ate.
We ate, bro.
Like we've never eaten both.
like we started off with chips and fries and guac and bleh and then into a eight-course dinner like
bread on bread on pasta on pizza and then I woke up I had the chocolate strawbers I was like we're
still going like we we crushed that was I'm telling you we got massages
celeb friends aside that looks like that I don't know if that means you know I'm old and
boring but like give me that versus like you know raging you know raging you know
know at a club in Miami.
Yeah, no.
You won't catch me.
All you need is like pool, friends, food, alcohol and that's like.
That's it.
Oh my God.
We chatted.
We laughed.
We took selfies.
It was the best.
No, everyone was obsessed.
Yeah.
And then I got, we got more press than ever.
I was like, oh my God.
It's everywhere.
You're like, oh, I didn't, you know, I thought this would be on the downlow.
You guys were exposing me.
I didn't wear any makeup for this.
these pictures.
Wait, there was a really funny picture of you in the car now with like my car sick
the glass car sickness glasses.
What is it?
Yeah.
Does it help if like you get nauseous from looking at your phone?
It helps me so much.
They're on Amazon and I get carsick just sitting in it.
Not even looking at my phone.
So I wore those glasses and Hillary immediately was like come here.
I need this picture and I was like, okay.
It was so cute.
So, Megan, do you think for taking it back,
which by you guys is coming out in October.
About you.
September 21st.
Thanks.
Are there going to be shows?
Like, what do we have to look forward to here?
I hope so, man.
It's, like, hard to put on a show still with all the COVID extra stuff, you know?
I have plans until for the next through, like, Christmas and stuff.
And hopefully I'm putting out another Christmas song with some friends.
And then I have a book coming out.
There's a lot going on.
It's going on.
I'm so freaking excited for you.
So speaking of the fact that you have a song coming out
in Christmas with some friends, blah, blah, blah.
I wanted to know who is your dream duet, Podna?
T-Pain.
T-Pain is your answer for everything.
T-Pain.
Celepirege, T-Pain.
Well, D-Pain.
T-Pain?
Across all.
Love, yeah.
Love T-Pain.
Did you see that actually one of the funniest T-T-T-T-T-Pain?
Because wasn't he,
the one that was missing all the DMs.
Mm-hmm.
That was, I think of him every day.
He taught us all that.
I was like, oh, shit, I didn't know there's a whole category over here.
Because DMs are so fucked up and T-Pain was missing them from like Mariah Carey.
Have you split into T-Pain's DMs?
For sure.
I was in that group.
I was like, wait, did you see mine?
Fran?
Did he answer?
No.
But now I know because you just didn't see it.
But that's like comforting because now we could be like.
Oh, they just didn't see it.
Another thing you have going on is a podcast.
Yeah, I'm trying to be like you and everybody else.
I'm trying to do a podcast, my brother.
It's really great family therapy.
It's called working on it.
And it was just my way to get my brother to open up more because he's like Massachusetts,
like stuff everything down.
And he happened to become sober the week we started.
So it's really fun to watch him suffer and go through it.
But also like come out the other side as this amazing man, this amazing person.
Y'all are so close.
That's why like seeing your.
bond on an Instagram and TikTok, it's hard to even imagine, you know, hearing bad for me, you know, because you're like, wow, you seem to have such a close family unit. He's like, overall the time, does he live really close to you?
Bad for me is not about Ryan. No, I'm saying to, of course it's not about Ryan. I'm saying to picture the fact that there is, you know, other family members. Yeah, yeah. No, so my brothers live in my house. So, yeah. My older.
My both my older brother and my younger brother.
They live in my house.
They're my only siblings.
Oh my God.
That's so cute.
It's cute.
I wouldn't have it any other way.
They're going to be like 50 and they're like, howdy, neighbor, you know.
Do you love it?
Love.
Love it.
And I love them.
My kids are going to have their uncles, you know?
So do they help with the baby?
Not as much as one should.
But they help with the dogs.
I have four dogs.
So they help a lot with those.
Oh, my God.
That is the cutest.
And Darrell loves it.
Because he has, like, bros around.
Yeah, he's always wanted, like, extra family, extra bros.
And he loves.
He adores them.
Aw, that's, that's literally the sweetest thing ever.
I love that.
I thought my family and I were close where my sister lives in my building in New York.
So that's like, I mean, that's pretty close, though.
Yeah.
It's like a building in New York.
My mom is my assistant.
She's great.
So did everyone move out to California after you?
My uncle, my uncle's my landscaper.
and my
and his wife
so now my new auntie
like cooks us
cooks for us
for lunch and dinner
yeah
I keep the family
clips
wow I love that
and you were saying
I heard you say
in an interview
that all the names
of your albums
start with T's
for the Trina name
yeah
for Trina
for my family
because they're first
so did you not
take Daryl's
is it Sabara
Nope
nope
it's Megan Sabara
and we're even like
should we
make Daryl a Daryl trainer, you know?
Well, Brooklyn, speaking of Brooklyn Beckham, he took his new wife's name.
Really?
Well, he added it.
Her name is Nicola Peltz and he's now Brooklyn Peltz Beckham and he got Peltz tattooed.
So, Daryl.
Zeral.
That's sick.
We should do it.
Yeah, you should do it.
Megan, you're amazing.
I'm so excited for your album to come out.
Sorry, everybody.
I heard it.
It's amazing.
Did you hear a superwoman yet?
Yes.
You could say no.
Oh, he did.
That's for my mom was out there.
Aww.
That's for you.
That's for me.
But everyone for now go enjoy bad for me because it's literally amazing and you will cry and
you will just feel understood by the world.
And I'll just keep following along, Megan, because you're hilarious on TikTok and on
Instagram.
You're killing the game.
My triple threat right here.
So thank you so much for coming on, Megan.
I love you.
I worship you.
Thank you for having me.
Thank you.
Congrats on your life and your family.
Okay, I love you.
