Ukrainian President Volodymyr-Sandinsky says the Trump administration has warned it could cut off intelligent sharing unless Ukraine stops long-range drone strikes on Russian oil refineries.
And in an interview with NPR, Zoninsky said President Trump's decision to lift sanctions on Russian diesel will not bring down
fuel prices. Mostly people in the world know why their prices on any kind of energy, including
diesel, raised up, why they increased because of ormos, because of blocking the straight of
almost. Everybody understands it. President Trump has blamed Ukraine for rising diesel prices,
but Zelensky said Ukraine will not stop strikes on Russian oil facilities unless Russia stops
attacking Ukraine's energy grid.
President Trump's ambassador to Greece, Kimberly Guilfoyle, has resigned amid reports of
misconduct.
She says she will defend herself, and she thanked Trump for what she called an honor of a
lifetime.
As St. Pierre's Michelle Kellerman reports.
President Trump says he didn't even talk to Gilfoyle, who was once engaged to his eldest son.
I didn't speak to her no, but she will not be there.
I didn't like what I read.
Gilfoyle faces numerous allegations, including that she urged a Trump donor to pay off a $100,000
credit card bill in exchange for access to the administration.
She says she will vigorously defend her name and reputation.
The ranking Democrat on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Gregory Meeks, is calling for continued investigations,
saying, quote, serving as a U.S. ambassador is a position of public trust, not a business opportunity.

Cornell University is suspending parties and other social events at fraternity houses for the rest of the academic year.
That announcement Tuesday comes amid outrage over the school's handling of gang rape allegations in 2024.
In a letter to the campus, President Michael Kotlakov said the university also plans to allow for independent criminal investigators and add a case manager to help students navigate reporting sexual misconduct.
New research from the AI company Anthropics suggests.
that some AI might soon be able to replicate inside smart devices.
Here's MPIR as Jeff Brumfield.
Anthropic warned that AI models could soon spread inside network devices around the house,
including smart refrigerators, televisions, and even robotic vacuum cleaners.
Researchers demonstrated such replication inside some cheap TV boxes and with simulations.
The researchers warn AI worms would be similar to existing computer viruses,
but they would be more adaptable and could be hard to shut down.
The best defense against AI and regular viruses alike,
a strong password for every smart device in your home.

President Trump has to spend the night in Las Vegas
after speaking at a campaign rally in Alaska
where he was stumping for Republican Senator Dan Sullivan.
Speaking in Wosula, Trump's remarks lasted nearly 90 minutes
during his speech, the president announced that Taiwan has agreed to buy 30% of the gas
from a pipeline project in Alaska. The terms of the deal are not clear. White evangelicals are
the only group of registered voters in which a majority prefer GOP House candidates for the
midterm elections. NPR's Jason DeRose reports on the new findings by Pew Research. Nearly three
quarters of white evangelical Protestants expect to vote for their congressional district's
Republican candidate. Pew Research also found white
Catholic voters favor Republicans, though by a much narrower margin.
Those more likely to support Democrats include black Protestants, Hispanic Catholics, atheists, agnostic,
and those who describe their religion as nothing in particular.
Regarding President Trump, white evangelical Protestants are the only religious group in which a majority now approves of his job performance.
However, Pew found that approval has dropped by 20 points since his return to office.

The Vatican says Pope Leo has lung cancer. The Vatican made that announcement after Leo's surgery Tuesday confirmed that cancer diagnosis. He had the lower lobe of his right lung removed during a surgery that lasted about 90 minutes. The Vatican says Leo returned afterward to his room at Rome's Jamali Hospital.
Oncologists say Leo's prognosis is excellent since it was discovered early. I'm Giles Snyder. NPR News.
