The Gaza ceasefire has been delayed and it's not clear for how long it was supposed to
go into effect a half an hour ago.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had said earlier that the Israeli military
will not hold its fire until Hamas provides the names of three hostages that are expected
to be released later today.
Hamas cites technical issues as the reason for the delay in releasing those names.
President-elect Donald Trump will hold a rally tonight in Washington, D.C. on the eve of
his inauguration.
Trump arrived on Saturday to attend a series of events before the swearing-in ceremony.
MPR's Franco Ordonius has more.
President-elect Trump was at his golf club in Sterling, Virginia
for a reception with supporters, followed by a 15-minute fireworks display.
Today, Trump will visit Arlington National Cemetery
for a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
He'll later hold a rally at Capitol One Arena in downtown Washington.
But the cold weather forecast has scrambled Monday's plans.
Instead of holding his inauguration outside in front of the U.S. Capitol, Trump decided
to move the event indoors to the Capitol Rotunda.
The scheduled parade down Pennsylvania Avenue is also moving inside to the Capital One arena.
It'll be the first time the inauguration is being moved indoors since Ronald Reagan's second inauguration in 1985.
Franco Ordonez and PR News, Sterling, Virginia.
President-elect Trump says he'll travel to California in the next week to tour the damage caused by wildfires in and around
Los Angeles.
At least 27 people have died in those fires and more than 10,000 structures have been
destroyed so far.
Trump has frequently criticized the state's governor as well as the mayor of Los Angeles
for their responses to the fire.
Thousands of protesters took part in the People's March Saturday on the National Mall in Washington,
D.C.
Just two days before President-elect Trump takes office.
It comes almost eight years after the Women's March, where half a million people came together
in Washington to protest Trump's first inauguration.
And Paris Elena Moore has our reports.
More than a dozen left-leaning groups organized the People's March.
But it comes at a time when some anti-Trump voters are feeling exhausted by politics.
I am tired of fighting, but who's going to do it?
Rachel Izzo attended the protest.
She's a nurse who works in D.C.
As frustrating as it is to have this happen again, I feel like we have to all come together
for whatever cause we believe in that is going to be affected by this presidency and all have our voices heard and not stay quiet.
Despite a smaller crowd than eight years ago, organizers say they're focused on bringing
new people into the movement and doing long-term organizing.

The defending Super Bowl champions,
the Kansas City Chiefs, advanced to the AFC Championship Game
after a 23-14 win Saturday night over the Houston Texans.
Craig Eklund has more from Kansas City.
The Chiefs pulled away in the fourth quarter when quarterback
Patrick Mahomes completed an 11-yard touchdown pass
while falling forward to tight-end
Travis Kelsey.
Mahomes says Kelsey rises to the occasion.
Yeah, this is playoff Travis.
I mean, he's a leader, man, and this is what he lives for is playing in these moments,
having the chance to make big-time plays, and he goes out there and does that, and it
seems like he does it every single playoff game.
In the AOC Championship next Sunday, the Chiefs will play the winner of the other conference divisional game between the Baltimore
Ravens and Buffalo Bills. For NPR News, I'm Greg Eklund in Kansas City. The
Washington commanders meanwhile beat the Detroit Lions 45 to 31. Much of the U.S.
is preparing for another round of winter weather this weekend. Bone-chilling winds
are expected in the northern Plains states and sub-zero wind chills will hit the plains and the
Rockies. The Gulf Coast and the southeastern US meanwhile could see
unusual wintry weather starting Monday in Texas that could include a dangerous
mix of snow, sleet and rain. Russian forces hit Ukraine's capital with a
barrage of missiles on Saturday. At least three people were killed and three
others were injured in the attack.
Some of those killed were on a minibus that was struck.
A metro station was also damaged in the attack and a water main was broken.
Ukrainian drones, meanwhile, started fires at industrial sites in Russia's Kaluga and
Tula regions.

It still feels a bit surreal to me that I got to spend an hour talking with filmmaker I'm Dale Willman, NPR News.
