One person is dead and six other people were injured during a shooting Saturday night on the campus of Lincoln University in eastern Pennsylvania. The shooting took place during the school's homecoming weekend. At about 9.30, just before 9.30, that festivity was interrupted and decimated by gunfire. It was a chaotic scene, and people fled in every direction. Chester County District Attorney Christopher D. Borell. Serobe says police have a person in custody who is found carrying a gun. He also says there may have been more than one shooter, but they don't yet know what led to the incident. President Trump is in Malaysia

He's at the ASEAN summit, and while there, presided over a peace deal signing between Cambodia and Thailand. MPR's Deepa Shivram reports. A border dispute between Cambodia and Thailand re-errupted this summer. Dozens were killed. Along with Malaysia, President Trump helped broker a peace. agreement by threatening to increase tariffs on Cambodia and Thailand. And we're so honored to be involved in that was so important to me. Ukraine says Russian strikes in the last day have killed at least eight people there and wounded dozens more across. the country. MPRs-Guronic Akis reports from Kiev that the strikes hit neighborhoods and the energy grid as Russia dismisses calls for a ceasefire. Russia launched nine ballistic missiles and 62 attack drones called Shaheeds, which resemble small planes and often carry warheads. Ukraine's
Starting point is 00:01:48 military says it did shoot down 50 drones and four missiles. In the capital, Kiev, missiles killed at least two people and injured at least a dozen. Russia also hit the southern Ukrainian region of Herzogne with glide bombs, artillery, and attack drones, killing at least three people there and injuring more than two dozen, including three children. Ukrainian President Volodymy Zelenskyy says Ukraine wants to purchase 25 Patriot air defense systems from the U.S. to protect itself from Russian attacks. Joanna Kikis and PR News, Kav. A hurricane warning is in place for Jamaica, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic, as Hurricane Melissa draws closer. Melissa is now a Category 3 storm with maximum sustained winds of 115 miles an hour.
Starting point is 00:02:36 Weather officials say it could reach Category 4 before making landfall. The slow-moving storm is expected to drop as much as 35 inches of rain on the region causing massive flooding and landslides. At least four people have already been killed by the storm. Two more aid workers were abducted by Iran-supported Houthi rebels in Yemen on Saturday. The UN says the two women were taken from the offices of the World Food Program in the country's capital city. One of the two women is in serious condition after giving premature birth. The Houthis have repeatedly rated UN offices.
Starting point is 00:03:19 They're now holding more than 55 aid workers. A Picasso painting that's been long hidden from public view has taken Paris by surprise. It sold recently for almost $37 million at auction. M.P.R. Rebecca Rossman reports from Paris. Painted in 1943, bust of a woman with a flowered hat shows Picasso's former muse and lover, Dora Mar, in vivid color as their relationship was falling apart. The portrait unseen for more than eight decades, far exceeded expectations at the Drouot auction house,
Starting point is 00:03:52 becoming the most expensive artwork sold in France this year. auctioneer Christoph Lucien called it a little piece of the story of love between Picasso and Mar. Picasso eventually left Mar for the younger Francoise Gillo. While the sale topped estimates, it's far from Picasso's pricest.
