Live from NPR News in Washington, I'm Giles Snyder.
President Trump is calling an expanded ceasefire agreement between Thailand and Cambodia a historic deal.
The agreement builds on a truce that Trump helped broker three months ago that ended a deadly border dispute.
18 Cambodian prisoners of war will be released and under this agreement observers from ASEAN countries, including Malaysia, will be deployed to make sure that the peace.

Trump presided over the signing ceremony at the start of the regional summit of the Association
of Southeast Asian Nations in Kuala Lumpur. However, longstanding differences over the border
remain. Dozens of Malaysian civil societies and local NGOs gathered in Kuala Lumpur today
to protest against President Trump's attendance at the ASEAN summit. Nine Arrau reports.
Outside the city's convention center, demonstrators against President Donald Trump gathered to protest his
arrival in Malaysia's capital.

He also touted the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.
President Trump is scheduled to depart the three-day summit on Monday to visit Japan.

Another is in New York City, where in-person early voting got underway this weekend in the race
for mayor, the frontrunner, Democrats are on Mamdani. He's going up against former governor,
Andrew Cuomo, and Republican Curtis Slybwa. Early voting also under
way in New Jersey's governor's race. And you're listening to NPR News. A week after the jewel
heist at Paris's Louvre Museum, authorities have begun making arrests. French media say two
people were arrested overnight, and the Paris prosecutor says one was taken into custody as
he was preparing to fly out of the country. Last Sunday, four men dressed as workmen, and in
eight minutes, they made off with royal jewels worth more than $100 million. Los Angeles Dodgers
have tied the World Series at one game apiece, with last night's 5-1 win over the Toronto Blue Jays.

Game two was essentially a pitcher's duel for the first sixth innings. After six, the game was
tied one-to-one. But in the seventh, the Dodgers broke through. High drive, deep to left field.
It's Smith with a big swing. Dodger catcher Will Smith hit a solo home run to make it two-to-one,
the call on Fox Sports. Two batters later, another home run made it.
3 to 1. L.A. scored two more times than the 8th, and that was more than enough run support
for Dodger starter Yoshi Yamamoto, who pitched the first World Series complete game since
2015. L.A. manager Dave Roberts on Yamamoto's performance. Outstanding. Yeah, he was just locked in
tonight. After an off day, the series resumes in Los Angeles on Monday for game three. For MPR news,
