A New Jersey entrepreneur and school board members says 10 members of his family were killed over the weekend in Gaza. Starting point is 00:00:37 says the dead represent four generations of his relatives all killed in their own house. My cousin, who had invited my uncle over his house, told him, come to my house because that's where you'll be safe. And it was in that house that they faced their end. Separately, Shaman says a pregnant cousin was turned away from a hospital had to deliver her baby on the sidewalk. The NYPD is preparing a more robust counterterrorism deployment than normal for this weekend's New York City Marathon.
Starting point is 00:01:10 Officials say they have no credible threats, but that there has been an increase in anti-Semitic and anti-Muslim hate crimes. NYPD deputy commissioner Rebecca Weiner says runners and their belongings will be screened and there will be a litany of measures, including cameras, to detect any dangerous weapons. Canines, special vapor wake detection canines, radiation detection patrols, the deployment of our chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive detection and mitigation capabilities. Police also say they're monitoring propaganda from overseas as they prepare for some 50,000 runners and more than a million spectators in the city for the New York City Marathon on Sunday.
