It's hard to miss a Revelmoped.
At one point, thousands of the bright blue two-weeks.
wheelers roamed New York City streets.
But after business plummeted last year, Revel decided its moped business was a losing proposition.
Instead, company officials say they're focusing on Revel's rideshare business and infrastructure,
namely so-called super hubs where people can quickly charge their electric vehicles at any hour.
The company's moped operations will seize on November 18th and will result in 67 layoffs.
The New York City Council members say they hope to end widespread.
wage theft and exploitation plaguing immigrant workers.
The council approved an immigrant worker bill of rights last week.
Councilmember Shahana Hanif says many foreign-born workers are simply unaware they have the
right to overtime, paid sick leave, and a host of worker protections.
Employers will be required to provide a copy of the immigrant worker bill of rights to employees
on their Thursday on the job and posted in a conspicuous location in the workplace.
A city hall spokesperson says Mayor Eric Anna.
supports the initiative, which pass in a 43-8 vote.
New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones will undergo an MRI today
after hurting his right knee in Sunday's 30 to 6 loss at the Las Vegas Raiders.
Coach Brian Dayball said an x-ray showed nothing wrong,
but that he would wait until further tests before making any definitive judgments.
Jones went down awkwardly in the second quarter and untouched while dropping back to pass
and then grabbed his knee.
The New York City Marathon results are in.
Tamara Tola of Ethiopia set a course record to win the men's race yesterday,
while Helen O'Biri of Kenya pulled away in the final 400 meters to take the women's title.
Tola finished in two hours, four minutes, and 58 seconds, topping the 2011 record.
