Here's the morning headlines from David Furze.
It's the end of the road for the Yankees.
They lost game five of the World Series last night in the Bronx against the now.
World champions, the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The Yankees started strong last night with a 5-to-nothing lead against L.A.,
but it all started to fall apart in the fifth inning.
The Dodgers took the win, 7 to 6.
Don Bridges is from Florida and coaches baseball.
He says he's been a lifelong Yankees fan,
but this season was tough.
Well, I'm upset, but the whole season has been up and down.
It's hard.
I guess as tough as a season can be
when you make it all the way to the World Series.
The Yankees finished the season as American League champions,
but they were hoping to end their 15-year World Series.
series drought. The Los Angeles Dodgers are now eight-time World Series champions.
The New York City Housing Authority's plan to tear down and rebuild a pair of developments on Manhattan's
west side is one step closer to reality. Nica's board officially approved the proposal for the
Chelsea Elliott and Fulton Housers' houses yesterday. Miguel Acevedo lives at Fulton Houses and hopes the
revenue from that development makes Nicaa safer and more functional.

other tenants are concerned about being displaced some tenants would be moved out in phases while their buildings are replaced with brand new ones
the plan also allows for additional private development on the same grounds the proposal has been in the works since former mayor bill de blasio was made
and face stiff opposition.
The annual village Halloween parade is tonight at 7 o'clock.
Parade goers can expect hundreds of puppets, a whole lot of music and dancers, and
thousands of other New Yorkers in costume.
Participation is open to the public.
The only rule is you have to be in costume.
Marchers will stream up 6th Avenue from Spring Street to 14th Street.
Expect closures on Spring Street and Dominic Street as well.
This year's theme is Meow, which orders.
organizers say is a nod to the inner cat lady in everyone.
Broadway icon Andre De Shields is this year's Grand Marshal.
He recently appeared in Cats, the Jellicle Ball.
Checking our weather, it will be a warm day for being in costume and for trick-or-treating.
63 now, but we're going up to a high of 78, mostly sunny,
will still be in the upper 70s around sunset.
