Starting point is 00:00:20 Hello and welcome clown homies to the NST Club Community Podcast Club thing number three. What's going on? What did you call the interns? What are they called the interns? Yeah. What? You have today Ivan. Hello.
Starting point is 00:00:37 Mike. Hello. And Griff. Hey. Griff, who are you? I'm Griff. Yeah, Griff is one of our interns. He's the intern for the intern.
Starting point is 00:00:48 Yep. Our intern was too stressed. We had to get him an intern. Too old. He has too old and stress, taking too many naps, counting too many calories. We need someone who can eat chocolate and whatever on a day's notice and be okay with it.
Starting point is 00:00:59 Coffee heat. We are spoiled. We were the only department with two interns. Ooh. Are you sure? We were, huh? Yeah. Yeah, everyone else got just the one.
Starting point is 00:01:09 Clowns. So how are you guys been? How was your weekend? Anything fun to happen? Anything interesting happened? Everyone's shaking the head's like, no. I got a switch. So that was fun.
Starting point is 00:01:19 That's pretty cool. I finally got one. And then Poppy gave me a Mario Kart, so now I'm going to play with him. No, we'll wreck you. Oh, yeah, he's got to be 400 hours played in cart. It's kind of embarrassing, actually. And nothing's unlocked. Everything.
Starting point is 00:01:34 No, everything except for the gold tires. That's just too much. What are the gold tires? The gold tires, you have to beat all the Nintendo staff in time trials. Oh, got to. It's doable. It's just going to take forever. So I haven't done that.
Starting point is 00:01:49 That's the only one. Are you trying to do it? Eventually, I will. I have, like, half of them done, but I don't care. So do you just, like, sit down one day? I'm like, do what? I'm just going to try this real quick, see how I do, and then. I used to, then I just kind of stopped because it just took forever.
Starting point is 00:02:02 Yeah, it's a grind. Yeah. But everything, I would have gold Mario, gold card, gold, everything, yeah. Gold boys. I'm one gold boy. Yeah, I just came back from Evo. I was gone Thursday through Monday. How was Area 51?
Starting point is 00:02:18 It was great. Determine poor boy in a jerky. If you guys want to follow the adventure of Evo slash Area 51, hit us check our Instagram story. Pucci is a world traveler now. He's getting around these days, doing all kinds of stuff, meaning interesting people trying to save, you know, the world one alien homeboy at a time.
Starting point is 00:02:38 Did you see any crickets? No, I didn't see any crickets, but I heard, so I went into the spa the first day. I'm like, I'm gonna relax, I give myself a good rub down, right? Get all loosened up with the tournament. Now I was talking to the masseuse and she was telling me that at the light of the Luxor, because like, you know, it's a giant pyramid, this is a big old light that shines up top. It was almost like blotted out with all the just crickets just flying around.
Starting point is 00:03:01 It's kind of nasty. Yeah, but apparently like it happens every year. I guess this year was like really rainy. It was like a really wet year. So there's just like a million of them everywhere. But like if you look at the videos, it's kind of spooky, seeing all these like, is these swarms. That's gross. You imagine walking around you, you like, try to see.
Starting point is 00:03:17 to a buddy and one flies into your mouth. Oh. Really? Fikers. Free, free snacks? Are we going to just ignore the fact that Dennis went to a spa?
Starting point is 00:03:27 Yeah. That's not a bad thing. I like to us. Boys got to relax. Yeah. Never been to a spa. Yeah. You should.
Starting point is 00:03:34 She told me that apparently my forearms are like really like stiff and like super just like not like um not loose. She's like what do you do all day? Oh, I work on, work at a computer desk and I play video games all day. So like that's why my wristers like, you know. really really tense poppy poppy massages yeah I've never gone to like a spa or massage place or anything like that you should it's good for you relaxing yeah relaxes it loosens up the muscles I don't want to relax I want to be on my toes I always like
Starting point is 00:04:02 stress no I don't stress either just what I don't know I don't think I've ever felt the need to have someone like you know touch you ever touch you ever Speaking of crickets. Yeah. I'm trying to see if you guys can carry a little bit of the load here. All right, right. I mean, yeah, intern, this is your job. I mean, technically he didn't really, his part didn't really come last time.
Starting point is 00:04:35 Because we had a mic control. Oh, that's true. The mic was bad. So you should probably talk about your Minecraft server. Yeah, I mean, a lot of work on the Minecraft server this weekend. That was pretty cool. So what is the Minecraft server for those you don't know? Right, okay.
Starting point is 00:04:48 So, um, um, It's a Minecraft server? Oh, really? No, actually. But it's kind of based on a bunch of RPGs that have been playing, inspired by Skyrim, although obviously, Skyrim's known for its content right now and with kind of like one creator. It's pretty hard, but pretty much it's an RPG mixed with like a lot of vanilla aspects.
Starting point is 00:05:11 They're still building and mining and everything, but there's also dungeons around the world. You can explore. There's a story. There's custom items, custom mobs. you only 30 bucks by the way you'll be a horn noise for that week said a bad word
Starting point is 00:05:28 oh no my god yeah 5508 can't uh can't sense of yourself huh so I can't control myself Warren Griff My mind's telling me no
Starting point is 00:05:41 I guess that sounds like a lot of fun I mean to check it out but I haven't had I mean I've had Tommyus haven't had like the You just don't care about interns. Yeah, pretty much. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, that's kind of many sense. Yeah, as soon as you guys leave,
Starting point is 00:05:53 it's going to be the happiest day of my life. Oh, hey. Actually, speaking of what you guys are leaving, like, next week, right? Next Friday. So, who remind me. School time. Next Friday. Going back to school.
Starting point is 00:06:03 Just me and Ivan again. Mike's going back to Clown State. Oh, yeah, Class State. Going from my Bachelor of Science and Clonology and Red Nose Theory. What else? See going. Keep going. Red Nose theory.
Starting point is 00:06:15 Come on. Biner in. Squeeze shoes. and powdered powder nose. Are you ready to go back? Kind of, at the same time, like, it's like a mix. Like, I'm excited to go back to see, like, friends
Starting point is 00:06:30 and enjoy my last year as a, you know, senior in college. But I'm also kind of like, I don't want to leave here. Plus, like, I don't want to leave my family, friends, and everything here. So it's just like, you know, you get the pros and cons for both.
Starting point is 00:06:43 So, you know, it'll be bittersweet. So last year? Yeah, last year, this is my final, done with school after that, unless I go to a master's, but I probably won't. But yeah, that's it. And then I'll be gone for a year. Hopefully they'll be back for winter break,
Starting point is 00:06:57 seeing if I can see you guys. No, we're just going to lock the doors. Yeah, just locked the door. If you have a key card, make sure you call people ops first to tell me a key card, like a guest pass if you can get in or else you won't let you in.
Starting point is 00:07:09 We'll just look at you from the window. I'm like, fuck the roll. Sorry, your name's not on the list. Sorry. I never see you in my life. No, about you, if you're ready to go back to school? No, I'm not.
Starting point is 00:07:19 Yeah. It's just not looking forward to a lot of the mandatory classes. Yeah. Oh, man. I want to learn some stuff. Like, I want to learn some stuff. But not that stuff, right? And what's your least favorite?
Starting point is 00:07:31 I mean, it's got to be history or English. Really? It's not the favorite. History is dope, though. It's not the way they teach it. Ah, okay. Yeah. Like memorize this.
Starting point is 00:07:42 No, I'm doing this way. Yeah, yeah. It's a lot of writing. Oh, like essays and stuff. Yeah, oh man, essays are the worst. We're already called the deep DBQs or something like that. Oh, yeah, many DBQ. You made the exact opposite, because you're probably good at math and science,
Starting point is 00:07:57 and I failed, like, every math and science path. It's just like right and a wrong answer, then I like it. But with essays, it's all like, oh, well, the teacher doesn't really like you, and your essay must not have been that good, so, yeah, your grade's not great. Yeah, sure, always blend the teacher for you not being able to write. It's never my fault, come on. my team's bad I think's bad nothing
Starting point is 00:08:18 I've actually always loved history I just like I wish that would have done a better job of like teaching what was happening at the same time because there's so many things that happened in the same time at the world that you just don't think because you would expect like
Starting point is 00:08:28 you know like the pyramids were built during this time or whatever and like you just like they don't give you a scope of like what's happening in the entire world at the same time like here's a crazy fact um
Starting point is 00:08:38 oh man what's your name great fact thank you yeah that's part of that one that's Egyptian the lady that was like really popular like yeah okay Egyptian Cleopatra
Starting point is 00:08:51 yeah yeah it was like her birth is closer to the time between her birth and now is less than the time between her birth and the construction of the pyramids or the great pyramids yeah it's crazy when you really think about it the world is not very
Starting point is 00:09:08 the world as we know it at least like history quote unquote it's not that long ago you know yeah Yeah, it's basically like a blip on the radar. It's pretty crazy. It's kind of scary. I think the dinosaurs are here longer than we were, right? The dinosaurs are all, yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:24 Oh, yeah, definitely. Yeah. I wonder what kind of pyramids they built? Never know. Maybe they did. Yeah. Who knows? Dinosaur pyramids?
Starting point is 00:09:31 Yeah. Maybe someone gone deep in the earth enough to find them, you know, because all the sediment and stuff. There's a video from B-Soss, and it was like the slice of life or whatever. And there was like a one minute segment where it was just like every like every second that pass is like a thousand something years or whatever. And like 58 or 59 of those seconds were like evolution or like the dinosaurs, learning fire and learning tools and stuff. And the last like one to two seconds was every event that we know of from like the medieval wars to like landing someone on the moon. Like it was just one second out of a minute.
Starting point is 00:10:12 And I'm just like that's scary. That's scary to think. Yeah, there's just a really good video by this channel called Kurskigstatt. It's like, it's really weird, but like, they do really neat animations about like all kinds of topics, like vaccines and like nuclear death and stuff like that. But they did one unlike the history of the world. Our current history is like nothing compared to like everything in the past of the world. Just so nuts. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:33 I mean like as time goes on, we kind of, our technology improves exponentially. So it's really cool to see that in effect. Yeah. I mean like 1960 was it? right, in 1960, we landed someone on the moon and then like four years before that. Supposedly. Supposedly. I don't know, no, shadows, though.
Starting point is 00:10:51 You guys think there's a moon? What? It's kind of weird how we went there in the 60s and then, like, we can't even go there right now. Man, it's like, how can we go there right now? It's like race against the Russians. That's what I think it's very likely they could have faked it. Have you ever heard of the, um. There's nothing on the moon.
Starting point is 00:11:08 It was just a giant. It was just like a magnet. Yeah, this is a giant rock. Like, why would you want to go? back. Exactly. There's no cheese. It's like going to Fresno. Like, go would you go back? But to you brought technology. Another interesting fact is technology does grow exponentially, but it really started growing even like super fast right after that Roswell incident in area 51. No, I swear. Because right after that, that's when like, aliens, TVs, computers, a lot of the technology we use today actually, like from that moment on is kind of
Starting point is 00:11:42 I don't know if it's because of the alien or whatever, but it's like that was the era where... Ancient aliens strike again. To be honest, I have no idea what you're talking about. No? There wasn't a UFO that crashed in Roswell, New Mexico, 1947. Supposedly. And supposedly, the president of the United States wanted to protect that technology, whatever they found. So they put it on two aircraft instead of one so they can...
Starting point is 00:12:08 In case one fell, like in crash, they would still have that technology on the other. one but well September 20th right yeah we'll see you there man yeah Pucci was just there he was met with a sad fate no damn it sucks you had to check the Instagram I did I can't tell you last thing I checked he was on his bed he he he went to say was buddy in Air 51 but then he found him yeah he found him in a state there was not very sad state mm-hmm F alien buddy F in the tracks yeah from the Chats. But yeah,
Starting point is 00:12:44 evil was good. The finish that of you was good. I got a picture of Pucci with Yoshinori Ono, which is the
Starting point is 00:12:52 producer of the Street Fighter Series, pretty much like the creator Street Fighter Series. That's pretty cool. Super nice guy. He was going to
Starting point is 00:12:56 bummed out the whole weekend because there was this reveal that there was supposed to show like three new characters, which is poison, I Honda, and a new character
Starting point is 00:13:04 called Lucia. And they got leaked before a couple days, so he was like, so like all the wind was taken out of his sales. Yeah. Because, like, there's been, like, radio silence from the street fighter team for the longest time for, like, this entire year.
Starting point is 00:13:15 There was one character, like, at, like, the beginning of the year, like, December. Alex? And then, uh, Kage. And then that's it. Like, nothing else has been released. Other than, like, you know, costumes and, like, stages and stuff like that, which, like, no one really cares about. Like, don't really care about. Like, it's cool, but it's not content, you know?
Starting point is 00:13:31 It's not actual. Just cosmetics. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's cool, but it's not actual. There's no content, but just cosmetics.
Starting point is 00:13:39 Yeah, you know. If you're at work and you're listening, you know, just trying to pass the day so you can get back home to your RGBPC and, you know, light up the night, then, you know, that's what this is for. So hopefully it serves somebody. I do listen to these podcasts a lot.
Starting point is 00:13:54 Yeah. Like a lot a lot? Yeah. I'll listen to the first one like five times. The second one I know it was like twice. Yeah? This one I'll listen to you a couple times. Why is that? Is it because like you just like it? Or you like that we did it? It's because he's lonely.
Starting point is 00:14:06 Well, I like it. I like it. I like that we did it. but I'm also trying to improve, you know? Like last episode, I was doing this, banging the stuff. Stop! You literally slipped the way for it. Okay, so if you guys don't know, we're actually have this, we're in one of the conference rooms. We're in the, what's it called? Foster community room.
Starting point is 00:14:26 Yeah, foster community room, thank you, because I, you know, whatever. And we have this giant TV that we have, the recording software on. And, yeah, so, like, we can see when someone, like, talks really loud, show up on the way for him there or someone decides they hit the table like i haven't just did so i apologize for that but to try to fix that in editing um but he's improving it i mean he hasn't really like it hasn't really been that bad to be honest like um no it's just little things yeah in the way like um we talk like saying words like like like it's everyone says them oh yeah you know when i
Starting point is 00:15:01 first did one of my first podcasts i had to edit so many us and i would spend like an hour and a half on like a 30 minute podcast just like editing the uh and then it would clip it and then i want to move it over uh i'm like god stop saying uh but people would just do that you know and i think yeah if you're if you're having like a pretty good conversation you usually don't do that the uhs come when you're trying to think of what to say so uh so interns but how how is the internship in so far interns good great yeah yeah i i love it yeah is you saying that yeah i'm saying it's because uh you're in a room. No, yeah, I think we have a lot of problems, you know, we're going to go to each show now. I've had a great time. Like I this was a lot better than I was like expecting.
Starting point is 00:15:46 Totally. Is he even learning thing? Yeah, I don't think Griff learned anything. He learned. I think Griff taught us something. Minecraft memes. Minecraft means are a way to go. Secretly is just fitted to like a huge conspiracy to get more people to join my server. Oh yeah. You went through an internship just so that you can populate your server. They have like 25 slots or something. Yeah. Are you thinking of getting your own server sometime soon? Just like running out of a server and not have to deal with the Rome stuff?
Starting point is 00:16:16 Because you're on the realm, right? Nope. Okay. We actually left Rome like a week ago. Okay. Yeah, now it is a standalone server with our own IP. Nice. What's the capacity on that server?
Starting point is 00:16:27 25 currently, although we'll upgrade if we need to. Right. Not bad. Are you going to try to be like the, what's a big one? Scott, the Bed Wars and stuff? No, no, no. You're not going to be like that. Not even remotely close.
Starting point is 00:16:39 And there's just like no way. It will be able to support that many people and there's no way as like one dev I will ever hit like a, like an upper, like 1% of the population that those servers get. Well, don't the servers have some kind of weird shitty like token systems and like pay to win aspects to them? I mean, they kind of have to though because like the server upkeep is expensive, especially when you have that many people playing. Like we have a cap of 25 and we're still paying what like eight a month? Wow.
Starting point is 00:17:06 Yeah. I mean, it's not a lot. I mean, I know, but when you go to like 14, 15,000. Why would you have a 15,000? I mean, like, 15,000 people's a lot for a server. 15,000 people's a lot, yeah. And that's what most of the really expensive ones, the skyblock, Bed War one.
Starting point is 00:17:21 Yeah, I basically capped out its players recently. Mm-hmm. Because there's this huge promotion going on every Monday with, like, Minecraft Monday, a bunch of famous YouTubers. Yeah. That's the Keystar, right? Yep, yep. Yeah, King Service to do.
Starting point is 00:17:33 Yeah, he seems to like the house. on whatever the trend is and make a day out of it and then die as he goes does something else at the end of the day it's like it's beneficial to us though because we get more people like playing Minecraft and it's entertaining so how do people find it if they don't know the URL how are they find your server they don't it's a secret yeah I mean like I haven't made a public yeah I mean like I haven't made a public yet oh I usually just currently it's just like friends and people I tell the IP I should redirect Discord homies dot com oh no
Starting point is 00:18:04 There's not enough content right now. I think I might release it as a map once there is. How long do you think you'll take? We should redirect the server with the other than a couple of things. We should want to try and add as much as possible. Cool. All right. Sounds good, Ben.
Starting point is 00:18:19 So you still have me 30 bucks. What's 30 bucks for? I bought me to craft on my switch so I can play it. Oh, and they can't cross on it. I know. These are really 30 bucks. Yeah, I got it for free. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:18:32 Right? If you have job edition, you can get it for free. But you get a lot to buy out, like, an account and stuff. Nope. Oh, really? Yeah. Because job edition costs stuff in the first place. And then you get it for free, or Windows 10 edition at least.
Starting point is 00:18:46 I just play on my PC. I very rarely play on my PC nowadays. That's the reason. With a baby. This is hard. I've seen photos of the dudes who have, like, the baby borns, you know, like, you know, things. And, like, you know, like, you know, like, the baby straps with their chest, you know? And then you're playing like this, all strapped up with the baby, which is hilarious to me.
Starting point is 00:19:03 It's like every time I sit down at the computer, my daughter just wants to sit on my lap. It's like, I can't play a video game like that. You can't even try hard enough. But on the Switch, you know, I can, let's say if she's in the living room reading a book or something, I can hop on the couch and play for a little bit for like five, ten minutes, which is why the Switch is perfect, you know, you can kind of play a little bit here and there, but just haven't had a chance to play on PC. So when it came by Minecraft, I just didn't even think about the computer.
Starting point is 00:19:31 I'll just button on the Switch. I think the sleep feature on the on the switch like the best thing ever because like no matter where you're at in any game you just put it to sleep per second and you turn it back on and you're right back where you started it's almost like a safe point in the sense because like I'm playing my switch right now really slowly tales of Asperia so sometimes like I can't find a safe point so I'll just put it to sleep and put it somewhere else and then when I get back it's like right there so it's really cool yeah it's like mid-fighter like mid-any thing as long as you don't like you know close the application
Starting point is 00:20:02 the switch like runs at a battery. Yeah, okay. Speaking of which, you're gonna grab, did you grab the new switch with the better battery or the regular one? No, I think I just got the regular one. Because like, for me, I'm pretty much gonna leave in my dock. Like, it's just gonna sit in my dock.
Starting point is 00:20:18 I'm not, like, especially in college, like, I won't be, like, caring anywhere. Especially because I live, like, two minutes away from my school, like, where I'd take all my classes. So I'm just gonna leave in my dock and just have one of the controllers and stuff. Can you trust your homies not to undocking and take it somewhere with them?
Starting point is 00:20:32 Yeah, I can trust them. They won't be able to get into the thing. You trust Delta Sigma Pi. D-S-P. Some of them, yes. Some of them not so much. Like, when you enter college, you enter like a, was it a kleptomancy? Like, where you steal things a lot.
Starting point is 00:20:52 Like, you get into that phase where it's like, ooh, traffic cone. I'm a traffic cone. I've never done that. You never steal a traffic cone? No. You just miss that? People do that all the time. Really?
Starting point is 00:21:01 Literally like, like my friend has like, stack of like 12 traffic cones in a closet I go why it goes I don't know I just come home and I see a traffic cone right in front of my driveway I take it I go well why is there a cone in front of his driveway like on his way on his way too okay okay from it from his house and stuff like that so like it sounds like a different situation so much from the key no going inside the house no like they'll be like those ones where it's like it's like on the street or whatever for like don't park here and then like when's late at night they're gonna pick it up the next day people just upright take it
Starting point is 00:21:31 You guys ever play a plan ones versus zombies? Oh, yeah. It's like people wondering why there's so many conehead zombies. It's just a bunch of college students. Putting it on. Just as much of college students still traffic cones. It's like a night of laughter or a crazy party. Everyone has a cone in their head, right?
Starting point is 00:21:47 All right, guys. Cone head boys, let's go. I saw a dude, which I was, like, when I was watching this, I was just like, wait, what? This guy's ripping, like, a stop sign. This really big buff guy, he's ripping a stop sign out of the ground. Like you can see like the ground kind of cracking. I go what the what is going on and then he like takes it and I'm like whoa that was cool
Starting point is 00:22:09 But then I look at it I go wait a minute. There's no stops on here. That is really dangerous So people people do whatever they want steal whatever they want. So Wow. It's a year. It's a heated world. Yeah I never run to college. So I went to one semester and then I think after that but like Yeah, I don't, my school is a commuter school anyway, so there wasn't like a dorm life or like that. I think for me to do that, I would have to have flown out to somewhere else. And I think that I kind of missed the butt on that, to be honest.
Starting point is 00:22:44 Because, like, if you're like your mid-20s and just going in, it's kind of, you know, you're kind of going to go to school for a different purpose, you know. You're going for, like, an actual, like, education. Yeah, yeah. It's like, I know what I'm going for because I'm already this old, I'm going to do it, as opposed to, I don't know, ma'am's going to party and figure it out, dude, let's go. Where's the, where's the beer bond, dog? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:03 That's all I imagine college kids talk like. Freshment year. Because like kids that finally live on their own and have no parental guidance or anything like that, they just do what. Dude, I met people that never even knew how to do laundry before. Oh yeah. Like, like, I go like, like, people were like opening a thing. I'm going in, you know.
Starting point is 00:23:20 Just tell your mom. You just, exactly. And they're like, I'm like putting my stuff in and they're like looking clues. Like they have like the detergent that they have the clothes. They're putting the clothes in. And then all of a sudden I see them open. it up and just go and just dunk it like you know like usually like some people like eye it so you know they do like a couple circles or what no this guy's straight like using like half the half the big
Starting point is 00:23:41 detergent bottle i use like two cups it's like yes that's more than he was doing at least 10 plus and i go you're literally going to kill this washing machine and he goes double cup that and i knew he never knew how to use a washing machine i don't get that because like you just google anything like you literally google how to do laundry like every now of then i like have to put on a tie for something so I'll just Google how to tie a tie because I never remember oh it's high ties huh tie guys start yeah no it's it's hard just clip it on easy easy easy that's too easy coward or what or what you do is you tie it once and you leave it oh oh oh you like I I hate my friends do that all the time and I'm like dude just learn how to tie it
Starting point is 00:24:22 you're like it's too easy and you walk out the door I'm like oh oh the sound effects is like I want to what like people imagine when you did that Like, what does that mean? How do you think about what does that sound like, or what is that? Sounds like you imagine it in your head. Right, zipper. Yeah. Yeah, like zip up ties, though.
Starting point is 00:24:38 Maybe I even. They do have zip up ties, aren't they? What? They do have zip up ties. Yeah, probably. Up ties? Yeah. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:44 There's ties in the back. You can hide stuff. Yeah. You can hide, like, your money and things like that. Oh. There's also ones that like, that, like, you just unzip and it kind of loosens up for you. They're super, like, the epitome of lazy. That is actually kind of cool, though, but it's really easy just to, like, pull it down a little
Starting point is 00:25:01 it. Yeah. It's not, I just forget, you know, because this is a good process to the knots. It's not hard, right, but it's like... It's also like, like, you don't do it that often. Like, you have to like tie tie and then maybe like a couple months later, you're like, oh, snap, I totally forgot. Are you saying that I should make the community team wear a tie to work every day?
Starting point is 00:25:18 No. We should do. Actually, funny thing. Just a tie. I was thinking about us. We have a really casual, what do you call it? Dress code. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:29 Thank you. Just code? I think one day in the community team we should do like a fancy Friday and we all just dress like super just like super good yeah exactly suit and tie you know nice shoes shaving and everything exactly exactly like you like like a fancy suit or a onesie and then people walk by like oh one like a big job like a big job people do treat you differently though when you dress differently yeah yeah oh yeah really it's weird yeah like if all of a sudden just show to work or school in a suit oh I mean I mean school that's different well you take thing with work you know because you never wear suit here. So like you stand out, people question you, they think like you're up
Starting point is 00:26:04 to something. Really? We'll just start asking you questions. Are you like going to court after this? Did you do something? Do you have a job in your room somewhere? Like no, just you know? You should do that, just wear a suit and like bring a suitcase. A suitcase? You open up the briefcase and it's just like memes. It's like a folder memes, yeah. There's a switch too. We just take out, you know? With a dock and everything, TV inside the briefcase and just like a, it's like a, it's like a
Starting point is 00:26:30 like a switch it's like a switch carry case but it's a real briefcase yeah people people don't like it when you when you act different it's like if all of a sudden you started calling your friends they probably think you're weird because you're not texting them why are you texting man why are you calling me my friends call me actually yeah yeah not not like all the time but it's like i'll be your friend uh-oh i think they call me when they know I'm not going to be responsive on Discord. So then I was going to go, hey man, what do you have to? Oh, yeah, I'm still working and what's going on.
Starting point is 00:27:04 I just have my phone pretty much silent all the time. Same. I just don't like talking to people. I take my notifications when I want to check. I just hate people. If you're going to check my phone, oh, my mom called me five hours ago, or my wife called me 12 hours ago.
Starting point is 00:27:20 Just like, I never, never have to turn it on. You have to tactically respond. Like, someone asks you for something. You respond instantly, and then they like they respond and you don't respond for 12 hours that's the worst that's the worst oh no really ghosty now that's annoying ghosty no well it's different for us because we work in social media so it's all day long we're getting bombarded the message that's true like all day long right that's
Starting point is 00:27:41 excuse right just like yeah it's not an excuse it's just a truth it's like yeah it's just so much that the last thing that I need is more notifications than for my personal life you know while I'm at work so I just leave them off so as much as I love my girlfriend Sometimes I'll be working on a tweet or something on my phone or like a response and the notification pops up that she texts me and I'm like go away I'm trying to yeah I'm trying to do something That's what happens all the time Especially especially for Instagram is that like because you have to like switch profiles. I just leave it on and I like people would send me Instagram DMs I wouldn't respond for like days because I just stay on as you see one same here
Starting point is 00:28:19 And I just oh shoot I should actually check my Instagram profile and I get like tons of messages When I went to Evo last year I was doing like an Instagram story like every much every day like on the hour just kind of doing like you know oh this is the story for me you're doing Evo I think I was on Instagram once that entire weekend for my own like but the rest I was doing the poochy stories you know stuff like that yeah definitely just make it so that like once you're quote unquote done with work you don't to do your own stuff it's like um my socials or whatever you know like I'll tweet sometimes and even it's like you know I'll even check it oh cool I got like fun notifications whatever
Starting point is 00:28:56 I actually have a question. Six times. Since we work in social media, have you guys realized that, like, you don't really use your own social media anymore? Like, for me, I would browse, like, through to Instagram videos or Twitter feeds constantly. Like, I'd get, like, I'd spend, like, an hour or to a day just looking through those feeds. But now, like, after work, I just go, like, I'm good. And I just, like, put it away. Like, I still use my.
Starting point is 00:29:19 I just post the things I wouldn't post on the regular ones. Like, especially on Instagram, for example, on my. personal Instagram it's just basically all the community memes they make you know or just funny stuff I see around the office stuff that I wouldn't post on a regular Instagram feed and then Twitter I don't really tweet that much to be honest but I if I do tweet at sometimes I tweet maybe an idea that we didn't like for our main Twitter or maybe I'm just testing some stuff see how people react but I definitely don't use my
Starting point is 00:29:56 personal social media as much as I do the work social media and if I didn't work in social media I don't think I would have my personal to be honest I never had a Facebook account a Twitter account or an Instagram account before I worked here really no social at all no social I had um back in day had a my space no I did too man I do too yeah well the top eight so it was like the thing I did have an Instagram Did you? Yeah. Was it because your wife?
Starting point is 00:30:29 Did she make you get one? Because my ex made me get a Snapchat. Snapchat's great. I hate Snapchat. Snapchat's useless. I think that texting's better, might be. Yeah, just text people. The only thing I have a problem with Snapchat is that, like, chats go away.
Starting point is 00:30:43 So sometimes I'll be chatting with someone. You have to manually see it. Yeah, I won't check my phone. And then I'll, like, I might turn it off the accident. And when I open the app, I'll accidentally exit out of it. I go back in the snap, and I don't know what they've said. And I don't know what to say. Like, hey, could you repeat the last, like, ten messages?
Starting point is 00:30:56 Did you do something? Just use Discord with everyone. Yeah, so you see. Discord's great. I want you to convince my mom and dad to get on Discord. Just to get on Discord. They can see us kissing our Discord. My mom's on Discord.
Starting point is 00:31:07 Is she really? Is she really? What for? She's in her server. She active? Oh. Yeah. And Zixie's mom.
Starting point is 00:31:14 Oh, my mom does use this Discord, though. So does my mother-in-law. My wife. It's a chat family? Yeah. Yeah. That makes sense, yeah. Like I remember when my family they were going to Mexico a few years back and they're like, oh, you know, like, how do we text you? Just get on Facebook. Like, just get on Facebook. It's all data as long as you get on Wi-Fi. You need to work on Facebook.
Starting point is 00:31:38 I was like back in the day though. Just get on Facebook, mom. That was before because like it was either that or it would be like WhatsApp or then didn't want to download like a location on my phone and I know and I know they didn't want to either. Which is funny because that's still Facebook or kick or whatever it was. Yeah. Well, kick is not for your mom. No, no. I wouldn't tell her mom to get on kick. I mean, it's for some.
Starting point is 00:31:56 on this kick see you see what's good this is weird that's that's sketchy you guys follow mike on tic-tok oh oh i did a t-tick-tow mike seems like the kind of guy that would be on tic-tok i i i like vine i didn't do anything i just watched vines yes i never made a single vine like anything on facebook and twitter and stuff like that like i don't really make that much like content like if i if i'm like climbing or i'm out and i get a picture with someone then yeah i'll post that on like Instagram or something like that but I don't I don't go out of my way to go you know what this is like the like the bottle cap challenge I never was like you know I want to do that or like the cinnamon challenge or stuff like that never done any challenges
Starting point is 00:32:37 never done one no one not a single one that even the Harlem shake no nope not a single one sure do anything griff did you do any challenges with your hummies never nothing yeah I did do the bottle cap challenge oh at the pop up but that was that was that was a different spin on it you know like people that would actually like try to do the bottle cap one you did like it would do with a twist which is funny different span with twist hey oh yeah um speaking of spam i think i did do the harlem the harlem shake or whatever when you're like new egg or something yeah there's a lot of companies did it's like hey it's a company's like yeah and i'm pretty sure there's always like some like some always like uh hr person
Starting point is 00:33:23 Hey guys, we're going to do this today. It's like, why? I didn't do this, but there are some pretty good ones, actually. I didn't. I think the Harlem Shake is probably one of my favorite ones. Still thinking of an NZT challenge, by the way. First off, that song was a banger. It was.
Starting point is 00:33:39 Palm Shake slaps. That was nothing to do with the actual Harlem Shake, but neither here nor there. I could think of any of the challenges it would even want to do. There's the Bucket Challenge, right? The Ice Bucket Challenge, I didn't do that. That seems silly. Oh, you did?
Starting point is 00:33:52 See, there you go. So you did do one. I forgot. There was that challenge. I didn't do it intentionally. Someone just like came up behind me with a bucket of ice. Yeah, let's bucket. It's through a bucket.
Starting point is 00:34:00 Yeah. There was a video of like, it's like, I'm here to do the ice bucket challenge. And then it's a kid, like, instead of pouring, he just drops the full bucket on this person. And you just see the person like crumple. I go, oh. Seriously hurt. Yeah. I saw one guy.
Starting point is 00:34:18 Was it forklift? It was a tractor. And he had like ice in a tractor. I guess whoever was running the tractor instead of you know tilting the shovel thing just dropped on the
Starting point is 00:34:30 guy's head it was like bed in the night yeah yeah that's not bad in the person of mine where they ended up dropping it but it wasn't that big of a bucket
Starting point is 00:34:40 right so it said it didn't hurt it was like one a small one but it was a Minecraft and it was a bucket of lava oh yeah that hurt I have
Starting point is 00:34:47 I have done the make anime fans angry challenge Oh, yeah, I love that challenge. That's my favorite. It's pretty easy challenge. Yes and no, because true webes don't get mad. They understand that they're webs and degenerates, and they kind of rebel on it. The fake weaves are the ones that get mad.
Starting point is 00:35:06 Yikes. I was actually not here for that one, so if he doesn't explain that. You want to go into it? Sure. So Dennis was gone on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and he's usually the one in charge of, you know, content that goes up on Facebook. But since he was gone, I challenged Mike to post something that would trigger people, make them, I told him your challenge is to make people mad. And he was having a hard time kind of coming up with that. He's such a nice guy. Challenge them with that,
Starting point is 00:35:41 specifically is because Mike's a really nice guy and I'm trying to make him more savage. So anyway, he was having a really hard time. So I just told him, You should just write real gamers don't watch anime in all caps and see what happens. And sure enough, it happened. Yeah, a lot of reactions and a lot of pretty bad comments. But I think we learned that Facebook's not really good for memes. Really? Really? You don't say.
Starting point is 00:36:17 What was the worst of it? It was like people saying like, oh, this is bad. bad PR you guys don't do this blah blah blah you know I'm never buying product I'm like okay yeah people got really upset yeah people make customer service tickets like like screenshot me it and going like this isn't how you do I'm like it's a it's a but it's like no one ever said anything positive about the other anime post we did right yeah so it is kind of interesting to me to see them kind of get all crazy for that because not the first time I've ever talked about anime it's just that one thing that
Starting point is 00:36:52 we literally a post before was the was the subdub of spray anime thing we literally did the last post and people were still triggered I'm like I was like one of the first post that I did when I got here there was a big post was the was an anime post so I was like obviously if you follow the page you're a fan top fan by the way if you're a top fan you would see that we consistently talk about anime all the time and the one
Starting point is 00:37:13 time we make a joke these random people who I probably don't ever even look at our page got a like butt hurt about it We made it up to them though the next day. Yeah. And then we did. Instead of anime, real gamers don't watch anime, we did it. Real gamers do watch anime. And people were like, wait, wait, what is going on?
Starting point is 00:37:31 And I think after that, people actually got the joke. People understood like, oh, they were joking. And, like, it was, yeah. I think part of the reason, too, is people freaked out on Facebook is because Facebook, you know, before you guys were here, it was always my lowest priority. I posted on Facebook if I had to. time, you know, or I would try to be funny on Facebook if I had time. Now that, you know, we're actually trying to make Facebook cool and fun, I think people might not be used to that.
Starting point is 00:38:01 You know, whereas on Twitter and Instagram, we've been joking with people for a while now, so they kind of get us, but maybe the Facebook fan needs some time, some jokes to understand what about. People understood it after. Like, we did, we did another one after. That wasn't related to anime at all. It was about, like, we have five, five. 140k followers, where's my 548K likes? And like, people were just like, yeah, well, maybe if you, uh, it's like, well, if you didn't, uh, make fun of anime, people watching anime, you'd probably have more likes. And then I literally wrote like, it was like, it was the funniest gift I've ever seen.
Starting point is 00:38:35 It was, uh, uh, Kowalski from, uh, Pegas of Madagascar. And he's like slapping at like a, like a, pointing at like a paper. It says, it's a joke. And people go like, yeah, it's like, dude, seriously, it was a joke. Understand that. We're always joking. Exactly. We're never, we're pretty much never.
Starting point is 00:38:49 I made a post today, actually, about anime, well, not about anime, but kind of related to anime. It's like, again, if you're a top fan, if you're a real fan, you'll know. And some person's like, this is really bad PR. Guess what? Someone's not going to buy your cases anymore. It's going to be me. And then everyone that shouts like, I can't believe. I think what was the best response?
Starting point is 00:39:08 Like, someone needs to build a snow case. Snowflake case for this guy. It's pretty funny. And then he blocked us on the account. Yep. Whoa. He deleted his comment and everything. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:17 Press that on the world's smallest keyboard. Damn, savage. Yeah, so, like, I mean, you know, like, when... I know what you guys were up to because, like, I was, you know, busy running back and forth in Vegas, so, like... You were like, leave my weaves alone. You were like, leave my wheels alone. I was triggered from, like, a million miles away.
Starting point is 00:39:35 I'm like, stop it, stop it, but, like, you know... But, like, once I actually... The point. The point was to get anime fans' attention. And we got their attention. It's not to... Just peeveeep. Oh, really?
Starting point is 00:39:49 Yeah, I guess. out, though. I'm not, I'm not even that. That's already too many for me. At a horn horn, yeah, the whole point was just to kind of wake them up a little bit and let them know, hey, you know, we're here, so.
Starting point is 00:40:01 Yeah. We'll see. Time will prove everything. It's in time, like, we've been here, you know, like, we've been talking about anime for the longest time on Facebook, so it's not like, you know, it's anything new. If we didn't do anything anime related, then we post that, then might be like... Yeah, the people would understand. Yeah, but, like, you know, do some
Starting point is 00:40:15 some research, you know? Look your stuff up. You probably watch too much anime here. I watch a lot of anime now. I'm finishing up 100X00 right now. I think ever since joining here, I've been watching more anime. Yeah. You have a figurine in your case too, right? I do have a figure, yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:30 I have a figure in my case in my 8-700. Nice. I even change the light so it showcases her off perfectly. Who is it? A hollow from Spice and Wolf. The only Wifu, BT Dubs. Right now there's a Senko, the insurrection in the anime chat. Everyone changes her profile pictures to the
Starting point is 00:40:49 same the same girl she know they're wrong they put that much effort in you know they're doing it the wrong way it's all about those edgy enemies like Tokyo cool oh that's that's a that's a that's a real intense edgy show yeah super edgy show literally like one of the first few episodes was the torture scene oh that's the first or the last episode of the last episode sorry last episode of the first season sorry it was yeah it's really like it's like a real torture scene it's a real torture scene and I'm like this is a lot to handle right now
Starting point is 00:41:24 either than like the eating people part yeah that's pretty yeah it's anime folks you should watch it what somebody eat somebody else yeah and like gory the worst part isn't even the visuals it's the sound it's like yeah
Starting point is 00:41:37 you know it's a cartoon right yeah yeah it's a cartoon Japanese cartoons Japanese cartoons dubbed only well speaking of the the anime server. There's some changes to the Discord, right?
Starting point is 00:41:52 Evan? Sure. New Discord stuff, I think that happened. Yeah, let's see. The big news is we added a new regional channel there, so now people in Spain can go in there and meet other people from Spain. This week we also started shipping the rewards
Starting point is 00:42:09 from last month, so they start shipping on the first, or actually start processing on the first Monday of every month, and it takes about a week or so before they start shipping out. So those are shipping out this week. The How to Build the PC Books, we've actually been going back and forth on edits
Starting point is 00:42:26 and they finally got approved. So now we're going to have a more condensed, easier to understand book with better illustrations and they're going out to the printer this week. They should be ready in two to three weeks after that. And then once that's ready, I'll put a form on the server for anyone who wants one and I'll send it to them.
Starting point is 00:42:45 Wow. Oh, for free? Yeah, for free. Nice. Well, not for free because someone's paying for it, but yeah. Are there any ranks required for that book? No. Anyone that wants to learn how to build a computer,
Starting point is 00:42:58 we will send them that book, and hopefully it helps them learn how to build a computer. That's pretty cool. Yeah. That's nice. That's basically all the news. Yeah. Pretty much it.
Starting point is 00:43:07 Nothing else? I mean, just cleaning up the server a little bit. Yeah, notice it's a little bit of work throughout the weekend. Yeah, so now people that boost the server, They get the homies roll, and... Like blue. They are... Actually, the color of cyan.
Starting point is 00:43:21 A cyan. So funny. Just... Nice. It's a specific. It's so funny. The other... Almost out the tail of Mr.
Starting point is 00:43:32 The other thing we did for the server recently is... I think you know. Yeah, so now for the podcast, we're selecting all the artwork that goes to the podcast from the Wallpapers Channel. So if you guys have any artwork that you want featured on the podcast, that's the best way to do it is just submit to that wallpapers channel and then... Make sure to credit you. Yeah, we'll randomly pick our favorite one each week and tag you guys on the podcast and all that. That's pretty cool.
Starting point is 00:44:01 Yeah, we have a lot of artwork on there and figure this would be a good way you share it. And we're also sharing it on the blog. So if you go on our blog, on the podcast feed there, you'll see all the artwork. And then every week, I think, once we get a couple more good wallpapers there, we'll start doing like, weekly wallpaper roundups on the blog and giving people on their computers, hopefully. Uh-oh, someone's in trouble. PC police, come state your crimes. That was actually one of my best post when I first started was that one.
Starting point is 00:44:29 It was an anime. PC police. Yeah, it was a... Oh, anime police, no. It was a picture of a cop who was an anime cop, and then it said, NZXT, police state your PC crimes, that was a pretty good one, because it was asking people something, and they were like, oh, like, once I, you know, I don't know,
Starting point is 00:44:42 forgot to put in my I-o-shell that for three months, I was too lazy to take it out. Yeah, stuff like that. So, you know. That can be excused. I-O-Shields. There's no excuse. So the first thing you do, if you look at any video, any guy,
Starting point is 00:44:55 the person to tell you is put in your I-O shield because you're going to forget. And then put it upside down. But then that's not before. Yeah. A-O-Shields, it depends, but usually they're not fun. Yeah. And technically, you don't need an I-O-Shild.
Starting point is 00:45:11 No. Technically. But it does help by keeping dust out of your computer. So just keep your computer clean, but you don't absolutely need an I-O shield. Yeah, ain't that big of a deal? TBH. Oh, there's actually some of the news. The new cases are shipping out.
Starting point is 00:45:26 Oh, right? Like today, right? This week, I believe. This week, the eighth of the sixth. I think some of them are already shipping out. Okay. So it's all this week. They're finally going off pre-order and they start shipping.
Starting point is 00:45:37 Yay. We'll have a walk-through video ready to go. I think Richard Publish it tomorrow morning, in the middle of the week, why not. You guys can see what it's like to build a new. those cases and hopefully if you guys want one you'll get one that's pretty cool oh one i want the 510 the 510 elites yeah they'll also be on a bd soon too i don't know exact date but they should be they should be there like yeah so should be today now any day now basically
Starting point is 00:46:04 yeah i know they're working on it especially for shipping it might also just have them available people to start building on are we gonna do we i've been making it for a case launch do we like have delays on cases because like you might not happen stuff or how does that work? So the way it works is from the time we announce him to the time we start taking pre-orders, the cases are going through the manufacturing process and then they get put on a container from our factory and then they ship them overseas over here and then when they land here, there's still like a whole other process where you have to go through, I don't know exactly who but I guess customs or whatever and the ports and all that
Starting point is 00:46:43 make sure you get all your stuff where needs to go. So different teams reserve the quantities of cases for different sales channels. One of them could be our store, one of them could be built, one of them could be retailers, whatever. And then this person that way. And I think they prioritize the order of where they need to go.
Starting point is 00:47:06 So that's how they decide. They're going to go here or they're going to go here. But I know the sales teams do really They do work really hard to try to get them here as fast as possible, but sometimes it's not really so much on them. It's just the process. It's a giant metal box, so. Yeah. Not easy to make, not easy to ship, not easy to package, none of that stuff.
Starting point is 00:47:27 Yeah. To make sure they're not, you know, broken or, especially because there's glass and all these now, you know, so. Yeah, and make sure that they get here safely too. Yeah. It's not just they get here, quick, but they get here safely so that we can actually ship them out to people. I know. Not scuff to scratch or anything like that. If there ever is, get him support.
Starting point is 00:47:44 They'll get you helped out. We have a great support team. Actually, for two of the guys, Dom, are our CS manager, right? Our lead. He is CS lead for, I believe, Europe. Really? Dom is for Europe. Believe CS lead for Europe. I believe, that's his film.
Starting point is 00:48:04 I could be wrong. I have been wrong before. Yeah. For him, I got some alien fresh jerky. He wanted some jerky on the way back from Vegas, so I'll pick him up some of that. He specifically messaged me to say, hey, can you grab me some jerky? I'm like, sure, do you just remind me on Monday, so don't forget on the way back. And then I got one of our CSWeb, some Unist shirts, their exclusive shirts.
Starting point is 00:48:25 They were selling there at Evo, so I picked them up two of those, and then a different shirt from like a sports team. There's a really cool high score girl shirt, which you guys haven't seen the anime. I definitely recommend it's on Netflix. It's also dubbed if you want to be a pled. I don't watch anime on Netflix, sorry. But it's about, it's about an 90s arcade culture, so it's really, really cool. Oh. Before your time.
Starting point is 00:48:49 Yeah, before you guys, it's time. And those shirts are sold out. That shirt sold out. This shirt, yeah, this shirt, yeah. So I'm actually wearing a thing see it, but I'm wearing a NXT-2012 Phantom shirt. This has the old NXT logo with the period on it. You can see it about. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:49:07 Yeah, my buddy found in a thrift shop. So like You don't know where it came from But like he sent me a message He's like hey I found these shirts I think they're from your company And I'm like
Starting point is 00:49:16 How much of those shorts It's like they're five bucks each I'll give you seven for each of them It's like give me one now So A couple months ago Some guys sent me a picture He was like hey man
Starting point is 00:49:26 I'm at a flea market Do you know what case this is It was a really old case It was like a Manta No that's not even that old man It was like Like an Apollo or something Like one of the really like
Starting point is 00:49:37 early ones from like in 2005 or something wow you still building that I'm sure you can you can yeah you can like like the cable stays will still work and everything everything works just yeah just it's not gonna be as a nice of a build experience you know like new cases yeah so it's funny when people ask like what did you you know discontinue the old cases like because you made better ones you know pretty much right there's no because we're a business yeah that's that you know yeah there's that you know be going to sell things to you every now and then and you get to buy them so we stay up and always got to make things better. Like the podcast, right?
Starting point is 00:50:13 Hey. Yes, I had it. Wow. I think the second episode was better than the first. You think so? Yeah. When we were recording, though, I didn't think so. And even right now, like, I don't think the third one's better than the second.
Starting point is 00:50:28 But then people listen to it, and they always say, or they have said, you know, oh, it's better than the last one, so we'll see. Trying to prove. I think it's better getting more comfortable with it, you know, and we just are getting used to talking to each other in this way. It's kind of tired talking to you guys. Yeah. Because, like, we really have that kind of long conversations, to be honest.
Starting point is 00:50:47 Like, we chat all day long. Yeah. Every day, Monday through Friday and the weekend. Yeah. And you're going to find something else to talk to when we're here. Talk all day long. All night long. Yeah, so.
Starting point is 00:50:59 Oh, night long. All night. I'm going to be sad that when the podcast, keep going. We're going to be in school and stuff. Oh, yeah. Well, we'll come back and it'll be, I've got a lot, like, more, like more productions going to go to it and stuff like that. Oh, well, for sure. We're already planning that.
Starting point is 00:51:17 Do you know if we want to start planning out a legit studio for this thing anytime soon, or like we're still kind of waiting on that? No, we should. That'd be cool. I don't rooster teeth has their own, like, actual studio. Why don't you marry a riss or teeth? Dude, I love it. That's just going after school, so you know of Ruisherty.
Starting point is 00:51:34 Yeah, I'm going to start to Rer Ther Threatteet. he's going to be their social media guy and he's going to tweet out Real gamers don't watch anime and he's going to get fired I would date him. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:45 You're going to let him go. How dare you? This is not how PR acts. Like, I'm not PR. When you guys go back to school and your teacher asks you, what's the most important lesson you guys learned in your internship? What are you guys going to say? Subs, not dubs.
Starting point is 00:52:01 Weeds are easily triggerable. That's true. Fake weaves are easily. triggered. Fake weaves. The real ones understand. The real ones go. It's funny. Because Mike did this research, which I'm too honest, like we all should have done it. But when we got those like kind of anger
Starting point is 00:52:15 messages, he went to the profiles. And so there's people who are angry all the time anyway. All the time. Yeah. So it's not like we actually anger like any real fans. It's just people who just wanted to like at something to want to get angry at something. But apparently, I was reading about this the other day,
Starting point is 00:52:31 that I guess Facebook's algorithm is a post to make you mad. Oh yeah. Because apparently if you're mad, you stay on and you look for more things to be mad. Yeah, that makes sense. They, from what I've been, I guess, told, because they do suppress, especially like a company, like a brand page, they'll suppress your post purposely to your own followers just so you can either give them more money or post something that makes them mad so they can get people
Starting point is 00:53:00 more engaged on the platform. Yeah. And yeah. That's scary. Yeah, I think most of the internet is like that, though. If you look on any social media platform at what people are talking about, there's always, like, angry people. Yeah, I mean, it might not always be intentional.
Starting point is 00:53:15 It's just like, it probably sports by engagement rate. And then you notice when, like, there's a trend for people who get really, really mad at something because they engage with it. And then their homepage is filled with things that they get mad about. So engaged and right shoots up. Yeah. During Evo, there was this fake joke teaser. There was supposed to be Snake.
Starting point is 00:53:35 joining the cast of Tekken 7. It wasn't real. It was a prank at the Evo guys or whoever Evo decided was a good idea to do it during the grand finals day. Right? And it wasn't the thing. And David Hader tweeted about it.
Starting point is 00:53:46 He was mad about it. Harada from Tekken. He's a lead producer. He was mad about it. Because he was like, you know, no one talked me about this. You know, like I wasn't in the joke and, you know, they technically use RIP or whatever.
Starting point is 00:53:58 Like my likeness. So like that day, like 90% of my feed was just people talking about that. Not about all the awesome games that are happening because they were like, I think like every grand final in evil was like amazing. But people weren't talking about that. They're talking about this dumb prank that, you know, that they were angry about. So, yeah, it might be that, you know, just a sort of spy engage in order to say, oh, people
Starting point is 00:54:18 are talking about this. Obviously, you want to look at it too because it's what everyone's talking about. And it's just, you know, somebody being mad. Maybe people just like arguing. That's true. That is very true. I think they do. I think people are bored.
Starting point is 00:54:30 If they want to pick a fight on social media, you know. Keyboard warriors. That's why we don't let them. We just meme on them. We dab on the haters. I don't know. He's looking at me for. You're the host.
Starting point is 00:54:43 I'm not. I was seeing, I'm just chilling here. I'm just hanging out, man. I haven't gone for like four days. I don't know what I'm doing anymore. It was a weird coming back, too, to four days, because I wasn't really doing a lot of work.
Starting point is 00:54:52 And, like, even though I was posting stuff on the stories, did you feel like work to me? It just felt like just, you know, I'm just doing it for funsies because I wasn't required to or asked you or anything like that. But even though I was, I was doing some stuff. I wasn't doing everything that I do on a normal daily basis, so it felt really weird to come back up to four days.
Starting point is 00:55:10 And I'm like, I said to my dad's like, what do I do now? I guess I respond to Twitter like a normal idea. He's going to get it back in the swing. I think it's kind of weird to me. That's all I felt when I started giving some of my tasks to you guys. Yeah. Before, you know. You miss it, don't you?
Starting point is 00:55:26 I do miss it. Now you can answer the question. What do I do in my feed time? Well, you run my server. Yeah, actually. It's too late now, though, because. Wrong version. No.
Starting point is 00:55:35 You can get on PC. That's true, man. Nah, I don't play PC games. PC MasterRee's. Yeah, every day. Switch MasterRase. Ooh. Computers are for anime.
Starting point is 00:55:47 Subs and dubs. No. Both versions on either screen, so you can see. Playing at the same time. That's why you have dual monitors for. Exactly. It's the same show. That actually hurts me a little bit to think about.
Starting point is 00:56:01 One horizontal. Yeah. Probably be a good way to learn a different language. though, because you have the immediate translation. Yes and no, because some of the translations aren't that great. That's true. Oh, good point. Good point. Yeah, like, especially if you want to get like literal translations.
Starting point is 00:56:15 Oh, right, because the, otherwise it won't sync up to what they're saying. Sometimes, yeah. Yeah. I mean, you probably get the same gist, but like, it's not the same, you know. Griff, you should know this, man. Jeez. No your anime, geez. I'll watch your subs because I'm cool.
Starting point is 00:56:32 I'm just kidding. I, I always. watch dubs if I'm lazy because like if I'm if I'm watching the show yeah I see I mean you don't want to read it or whatever well it was it doesn't even that I don't mind reading it really it's not a problem with me but like if I feel and like I haven't knows this like I like I like to do multiple things at once it's like if I'm playing a game I want to have something playing at the same time but if we got to read you know I can't be making those you know 360 flick you know no scope head shots if I had to read you know what this ring is saying yeah dude
Starting point is 00:57:02 gonna kill naked's and rust. This is that happened Thursday, so I'm going to hop back on that rust. Yeah, build up some more things. Minecraft for adults. That's true. I mean. Big Boy Minecraft. Hardcore Minecraft, though.
Starting point is 00:57:16 Like, on 2B2T, that's pretty hardcore. What, whoa, whoa, what? 2B2T is like a server where it's pure. You just cast a spell on me, sir? Yeah, it's like pure survival, pretty much. And when you die, you lose everything. Anyone can go up to your base, just Maya with their fist or your pickax or whatever, you lose everything. Like, people are.
Starting point is 00:57:34 spent like weeks on it just to come online and all their stuff's gone and they die and all their stuff is really gone yeah for that like Russ is a little bit harder because you need like you need a farm to raid bases so yeah you can't just like walk up with starter tools and just break the whole thing down I mean you could just take you a million years that's true that's true worth it I mean like depends on the wall though you can't even damage without like a C4 or something yeah C4 such and charges yeah I mean I guess it's stone walls if you have enough determination yeah
Starting point is 00:58:04 At that point, just Farnas Holver. Welcome to the Mindcast. Yeah. The all survival multiplayer-related games go here. I was about to say, hopefully we don't make him Trello, but I just mentioned Trello, so I think this is... We need that.
Starting point is 00:58:21 Three episodes in a row. Three episodes. Four of a Bicampo episode, we have not published. That's true. And we said Trello on there, too. Trello. Trello. Trello.
Starting point is 00:58:29 Yeah. Today's Trello is pretty nice. Pretty light. Chill. That was very long. New sticker, right? It's a new sticker. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:34 To celebrate that? Did he come? He's mech. I think mech made it. Oh. Mechanical Mechbeard. Yeah. Mechanical keybeard.
Starting point is 00:58:45 I think it's like so full name, but we just call him like Mechbeard or something. I'll just quote. Yeah, he's one of our apprentices. He should be graduated. IMO. Because I told him, hey, she found this person. This offense is definitely a ban thing. And he's like, oh, I don't have a power man.
Starting point is 00:58:59 I'll tell Ivan to graduate you, so I'm going to do it. Let's make it easier. Should you just make everyone a month? Yeah, yeah. Every single person. Communism. Yeah, make everyone a mod and then open up applications for apprentices. Power to the people.
Starting point is 00:59:12 And as soon as they're accepted to turn them in the mods, never have apprentices. Seize the means of production. People would be really mad if we did that. CERAL would probably go to... Yeah. Chaos. I wonder what would happen if we had no mods. Chaos.
Starting point is 00:59:31 What would happen? Just turn it to, I don't know, great. I don't know, Gryph's Discord. I heard it's pretty spicy. My Discord's already chaos, me of admins. It's like, because we're not really have, our rules are dynamic, or we're just bad enforcing it. I like to say they're dynamic, but we're just bad admins.
Starting point is 00:59:48 And the not rules are just, they're more like guidelines. That's the thing, it's every Discord server that I've been in has rules that no one follows. Yeah, I mean, like, there's no cursing unless you want to curse, then there's just curse. It's okay. There's actually a good thing. So someone who would not be named kind of sent you like a really long DM, right? About how, you know, like he got warned or banned, I forget it was,
Starting point is 01:00:15 but he got reprimanded for, I think, for using like curse words or something like that, right? Or being, being rude. And his argument to you was, well, gaming's just toxic. Which is like the dumbest argument. You're telling me, like, well, I can curse another discourse. what I should be able to curse here. That's not quite how it works. Exactly.
Starting point is 01:00:37 And then he was saying that our moderators were ignorant. And he was saying that I was out of touch with gamers because... It's okay to treat everyone until I get triggered. Then there's a problem. But I just told them, well, if you don't like the rules, you don't like the Maws, you don't like me, why do you want to be here? And he said, because the... because the community helped them at one point.
Starting point is 01:01:04 So my question to him again, my follow question was, well, how does you arguing with the mods or calling them ignorant or cursing or breaking the rules help me? And obviously it doesn't. And I think after he kind of thought about it a little bit, he realized, you know, if he wants to stick around, yeah, he has to follow the rules.
Starting point is 01:01:25 So hopefully... He's been good. Yeah, he's been good. It's just, you know, there's a lot of people like that don't like... the rules because it is hard to follow our rules to be honest you know it's not easy to not say bad word it's not easy discovered in the podcast yeah it's not easy to not post a meme that it's acceptable everywhere else you know yeah but once again there's a very good reason why our rules are
Starting point is 01:01:48 strict and it's because we just want to have a safe place clean wholesome fun i mean we talked with uh natella captain tellah's mom and stuff like that and she was like yeah i mean it's a great place like it's safe he can go there whenever he wants to and you know everything's a okay and stuff so when i was at uh e3 um the person who runs the twitter gaming account like the actual official twitter game account came up to me and said how she loved her social media and load her community how like fun and positive we are like and like to me that's really important that we keep that up you know because there's so many places you can go where it's just people using curse words all the time and it's like pretty toxic um not to overuse the word but it's nice to
Starting point is 01:02:30 we have that spot, you know? And the person that, that, um, that you're talking to, I've been, I've had a couple interactions with him and he's, he's a, you know, he's a nice, nice guy, you know, like I don't, I don't dislike him at all. You know, I just hope that he can learn, you know, that's, that's what we're about and it's not easy, you know, it's very difficult. Like, I think, for some reason this weekend, there's, like, a lot of app moderators, this weekend in particular, I have no idea why, um, because I wasn't paying attention to it. Um, that's the one thing I didn't look at was, like, discord this entire weekend, because it was just, it's just, you know, once I'm on there,
Starting point is 01:03:00 I'm going there forever. But like it's not easy to do, but it's worth it. Yeah. And that's what we do, the ban appeals, because we know people can change. We know people can try harder. We know people can learn their lesson and try to, you know, be better. So, you know, if you're, thank you to everyone that's following the rules. And if you're not, you know, hopefully you do learn something from it, even if.
Starting point is 01:03:24 You're not allowed back in. Yeah. But I do think, you know, a lot of our rules will help you in life. it or not. Like just simply not cursing. It's just going to help you increase your vocabulary, which will probably help you in school and work. It's true. Yeah, no, for sure. Or even just helping people in general. You'll, I think you'll notice that the more you help people, the more you get in return. And I don't think it's a coincidence. You know, I do think there's some sort of karma law or whatever you, however you want to see it there. Like, just helping people
Starting point is 01:03:58 welcoming them to the server, teaching people all about computers or streaming or gaming. Or gaming. Being someone's friend, instead of being a bully, instead of cursing at them, instead of posting an X-rated meme or whatever, like if you do the other things, you'll start noticing little by little improvements and everything. I hope. Like on my stream, I don't curse as much. anymore. Like, I mean, I still curse a lot in, like, normal daily life, you know, with my friends
Starting point is 01:04:33 and stuff, but that's one thing. But, like, you know, when I'm talking to people online, I was like, you know what, you can curse in a million different places. I don't need to do it here, you know? I can curse offline with my homies and, you know, we're kissing each other, you know, and playing a rest or something, you know, like, linked to the hours. But, like, you know, when I'm on Destiny or Rest or whatever on stream or Street Fighter, like, you know, I can be, you know, it just, it just feel a little better for some reason, you know? It's like, oh, like, I did a thing today, and although it doesn't really mean a whole lot, it makes a little bit of a difference, and that means a lot.
Starting point is 01:05:05 Off topic, though, rest all-nighters are great. Rust all-nighters are great, yeah. Especially when you're, like, you're hitting, like, peak naked hours, and he's, like, just dazed out and just grinding for, like, wood or stone or something. Make your base huge. This is before upkeep. Yeah. But, like, we'd put all-nighters to make these gigantic, awesome bases.
Starting point is 01:05:25 Yeah. You should play rest of it, that's fun. Yeah. It's good stuff, yeah. This is a huge time sync though, that's a problem. Yeah, yeah. I mean, it's like all those games, right? Minecraft, Rust.
Starting point is 01:05:33 My craft doesn't have that much grind because you can get really powerful, really quick. It's actually one of the problems I have with it. Like, I tried to host a server, and then since I'm like... You're just too good? Yeah, or people who are used to read through the content so quickly because they have like full chanted in a day,
Starting point is 01:05:49 full diamond enchanted in a day. It's pretty crazy. Sounds nice. Well, you're going to keep building on it, though, right? Exactly, yeah. So I can't develop as fast as these people are blowing through content. That's how it works.
Starting point is 01:05:58 Yeah, it is. He started charging for it in that way. No, seriously. And then that way, you know, you can make that like your daily job. Like there's a person who was making, I think in the Sims or no, no, city Skylines. He was making like custom like buildings and stuff. And people like, oh, you know, really like, you know, but like I want more. It's like, I can't.
Starting point is 01:06:18 I have a day job. I do this as a hobby and like, oh, how much can you pay you? So you sit up like a Patreon or something like that so people can like buy like custom buildings or whatever, like custom stuff for the game. game that's like his daily job now I think so I think someone who works at the sims started doing that too these made custom content like oh I always wanted a hot dog cart so they made a hot dog cart and then people liked it and then you get a job off of doing that you know pretty cool probably the best time to be alive for anyone that just wants to do whatever they want to do yeah especially
Starting point is 01:06:46 if you're like a creative arty kind of person even if you're not honestly like even if you're not creative and you just don't want to go to the office every day you can be an Uber driver you can start a website I did Uber driving. Yeah, you can do whatever. There's like so many different things now. It's kind of cool. It is cool.
Starting point is 01:07:04 I like it. I slipped my drink there for a second. Rip the audio. Like people used to try to make money off mining gold. Now you can make money off mining gold. And like, what was it? Wow, people would make bank off like farming. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:16 They're selling it. Yeah. People made, like, I think people became millionaires, to be honest. Yeah. Yeah. I think there's a millionaire off of Yvon mine. Oh, yeah. because you can you can sell the subscriptions for like in-game money so he did made
Starting point is 01:07:33 some way where he could like accumulate a bunch of those and to sell them and sell wow yeah because I think I'm pretty sure the price is static but I think else will change you sometimes but I'm not too sure it's like steam market yeah counter strike and stuff yeah oh yeah people I forgot you like bank off that yeah yeah actually even trying to sell mine now for yeah but a knife at 200 sold it at 440 there you go it's double your money exactly you lost it all buying buying buying I don't even know how much my mistake once never again. Yeah, I think one night way back in the day I was on the stream and I bought like $50
Starting point is 01:08:05 there was the keys. It's open a bunch of stuff. I got nothing there was really that great. That's the point. If you made profit off of cases, then it wouldn't be in the game. Yeah, right? Yeah. Like, Falch tries...
Starting point is 01:08:16 They try and crack down on like gambling sites. They try and crack down on like gambling sites. But by far, the only reason those gambling sites exist is because the gambling in CSGO is just significantly worse than than all of those sites. Like, the, it was like the ratio of people who actually came out with more money than they started with
Starting point is 01:08:35 was way lower than all these gambling sites. But, you know, I was like, I got to use their eyes. Otherwise, it's illegal. That's true. Do you have about, I don't know what happened, but you guys hear about,
Starting point is 01:08:45 like, the Team Forteous II economy crashing? Oh, yeah. You know what it's about, something about opening crates, but apparently, like, apparently, like, people sort of opening their crates or something, and, like, it just murdered the market
Starting point is 01:08:56 and, like, Yeah, it literally, like there used to be, TFT used to be one of the best compared to like every other one like CSGO and stuff, it used to be the best. Like, you could, you could, like, people, like, people can make a living off of it. There was, like, the first game, I think.
Starting point is 01:09:11 Yeah, to really have that, yeah. They made a lot of mistakes too that we'll let the crafty material stuff like that, yeah. And I think because of the opening boxes, I forgot how exactly what happened. It died. It just died. Like, there is no, like,
Starting point is 01:09:23 anything that was like, let's say $5, it's down to cents. It crashed. You know what's a really cool way of doing it? The way that Russ does it, that's really interesting, is every week to have new skins that they release and then after that week they're gone, so then the price is going to fluctuate up in the opinion on what people want.
Starting point is 01:09:41 What's really cool, too, is like just by playing the game, you can make money because you get these tiny drops worth like two or three cents, but it kind of seems kind of strike, except it's a little better. Yeah. But that's like so cool. Just like the more you play, you start making a sense. Yeah, there's definitely a way to make crates and stuff like that, like not annoying. Just a lot of companies really miss the mark on it.
Starting point is 01:10:00 Surprise mechanics. Yeah, surprise. Surprise mechanics. Oh, that one statement put out by EA a little while ago. Yeah, it was like, yeah. We don't count. We call it surprise mechanics. I'm like, oh, my God.
Starting point is 01:10:12 It's not something like that. There's something earlier than that, though. They were like, oh, it was like a sense of pride and accomplishment or something. That was, yeah, that was EA with Star Wars Battlefront, too. Yeah. Yeah, that's what it was. And they did, they made, like, the grind really bad for you to get hero characters. And they were like, well, you know, we did this because we want people to have a sense of pride and accomplishment when they get, like, Luke Skywalker.
Starting point is 01:10:35 And I was like, that, no. Like, I paid $60 for the game. Exactly. The game's so expensive the first place. Yeah. I don't know. I've never been a fan of, like, micro-transactions, like a full-price game. A game like Apex, I don't like, honestly.
Starting point is 01:10:48 I don't like the way to do the skin sales. But the game is free, and you don't have to buy it, right? I mean, if the game's free And the only thing that you have to buy Or like cosmetics that don't affect the game, then I'm all for that. Yeah. I don't mind paying for anything as long as
Starting point is 01:11:02 I like it. Seriously. No, like if I like this game, they like how they look, I'll buy it. Yeah, sure. If I don't... Like, Fortnite mid-bank off that, too. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:12 Like, you know, if I don't like it, then I don't care if it's good or bad. It just, for me, this is not it. I don't want to spend my money. I think Steam kind of cracked the formula on that. because they came about TF2 and then they made Counterstrike free and it's all like the game's free to play I think TF2 is free right yeah the game's free to play and then with micro transactions exactly you can always buy cosmetics and stuff and then you're like they exploded in popularity because it's free right yeah it's why not it only bothers me when you have to pay to win yeah that's when it's like pay to play too like timers and stuff yeah yeah yeah that's like mostly the problem with mobile games though like clash of clans exactly where it's like free with microditches just but that they're not dr.
Starting point is 01:11:52 world. Nothing is wrong in the second. Nothing is wrong. Never. Never. Never. Unless you want Peach. That's honestly the only character I wanted and when I got like Bowser
Starting point is 01:12:02 Jr., I'm like, oh, Bowser Jr. Yeah, but I don't like him. That's my name. I love Bowser Jr. The characters that I pick in games are all based on like aesthetics. Like, I just want to play that character.
Starting point is 01:12:13 I don't care if they're good or bad. I've always played like low-tier characters and fighting games. The coolest-looking characters, yeah. Yeah, exactly. It's like, I don't care if he sucks. I think he's fun, so I'm going to play it. Like, I play Ed and Street. fighter five and he sucks he's a terrible character he's trash but like you have the same
Starting point is 01:12:26 mentality with your with your clothing yeah with the shirt hey oh this this is called clown sir thank you it's called OG vintage cloud right sorry you know it's the guy wears flannel every day oh yeah come at me dude come at let's go you know what actually uh I evil they had a flannel Evo shirt the little evil logo I almost bought it for you it was like 80 bucks oh I was like man this is to be hilarious if I bought Ivan an Evo flannel shirt. It might actually be selling you on the website because I don't think too many people bought them. I don't know why I fell in love with flannel, but I had pictures of myself as a little kid.
Starting point is 01:13:05 He's still working. I've always worn like the same haircut. I always wear like the same shirt, the same type of pants. Even the same type of shoes my whole life. I don't know. I guess I'm lazy. I don't like to think about it. I'm like, oh, so this is what I'm going to dress like?
Starting point is 01:13:20 All right, cool. I don't know. Like that one kid that shows up to like a school with no dress code and like a full suit. I should do that one, do they? Full suit. We should all do that.
Starting point is 01:13:31 Like, what are you hiding? I mean? On your guys, the last day, you should come in in the suit. See the tie. Just be like business.
Starting point is 01:13:38 I don't think I brought my suits back, actually. It's about one, dude's like, like the cheap ones. I had a custom suit now. I did a custom made. Custom suit, tailored made. Custom line too
Starting point is 01:13:48 with your own pattern or something. It's cool, like, um, cool dress shirt but like while I was on a plane with my brothers one of them had this like little catapult toy thing
Starting point is 01:14:00 and it was really really damn squeaky and it was so annoying so I took it away because he couldn't stop making the squeak noise and he spilled milk all over my all over my shirt on this like seven hour plane flight oh man
Starting point is 01:14:14 this smelled amazing oh yeah everybody loved me after that it's like this guy smells like milk on it's the next to him like that. Oh yeah. Sounds great.
Starting point is 01:14:24 And it goes from like milk to spoiled milk and it gets even better. Oh. It's only like an hour, I think. Right? So like milk just gets really stinky. Yeah. Yes. Basically like a podcast.
Starting point is 01:14:38 You spilled milk on your shirt when the podcast starts by the end. It's going to be sour. We should do that actually tomorrow and tomorrow next week. Purs the bulk down. Just decide. Just diving though. How was the, Do you guys play in the community night?
Starting point is 01:14:54 The community game night? No, I wasn't available during that time. I haven't. Dang. I didn't either. I heard of a Counter-Strike, though. I really wanted to play some Counter-Strike, but I just had no idea what's going on. We have to organize it better.
Starting point is 01:15:06 Yeah, I agree. Yeah. Yeah. We might need to step in actually put some effort down on that. Because so far as it's been a community member, and, like, no knock on the guys who are running it, you know? Like, they're doing a fine job for what they have, but we might need to step them with a little bit of leadership. and just kind of clean it up a little bit. The problem with games like Catastric and Rainbow
Starting point is 01:15:26 is that the lobbies are like what, 10 player max? So what do you do when you have more than 10 people? And not only that, but when the majority of people were playing during the game night, it was actually during work hours. So I couldn't like that day I couldn't, you know, play
Starting point is 01:15:42 and see his go. They started playing like 9 in the morning basically. Yeah, on my life that makes sense. That's one of the reason I couldn't play, but Yeah. I think we just have to do a better job at letting people know. Like Rust and Minecraft where there's no player limits or whatever. Just getting people playing together at the same time, I think.
Starting point is 01:16:00 It's doable. Yeah. It's also a rough friend now too because a lot of games just have matchmaking. So it's kind of hard to get into games of that too. Like, good luck finding an empty rest server, you know. And we can hop on it and play. Right. I mean, if we really wanted to put some effort into it, we could host servers.
Starting point is 01:16:15 Yeah. We could always like maybe, you know, cut the cost and port forward it on like a, whatever our computers or something. something like someone's computer because you can get that with Russ servers I've done that in the past yeah but also like not everyone plays rest that's the thing too right yeah like you're gonna choose a game that exactly a lot of people can play that they want to play also because if you're like oh let's play Fortnite like yeah but you only do squads like five yeah exactly can't bring in like 12 people either yeah that's the worst part on count strike you can but it's really difficult yeah I know if you can get people playing
Starting point is 01:16:44 how what if um we streamed it oh I like that you know it would stream it Yeah. Yeah. They do like challenges. Like that whole day, like on the NCC Twitch stream, it could be just game night, people playing. That would be kind of fun. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:17:01 I think that'll get more people playing. Yeah, we just need to find a way to get into those games so we can stream them. Because let's say, if it's a game that kind of strike, we don't want to take up a slot, you know? So that's the thing is there's a lot of logistical stuff with that. Yeah, let's go on a mixture then.
Starting point is 01:17:16 Yeah, just do a mixer, boys. We'll just do a, do a... It's a mixture. Well, I mean, I already did. Oh, right. Yeah, yeah. Me too. Mr. Slega in the sky.
Starting point is 01:17:23 Same, same. Yep. I'm all mixing out, boyo. I got a nice payout. You know, it's time for me to switch. I can't really get back to my streaming words. Yeah, people thought we were going to, or sorry, people thought you were going to move to YouTube, right? But then it was just mixed her out of the blue.
Starting point is 01:17:37 Yeah, yeah, you know. Yeah. I made the announcement, released a whole video about it, you know? Yeah, and then Friday is just like, you know what? I think I'm just going to move to a mix your nice payout. Stream live from, from Evo for my first stream. Yeah. Speaking of that, I think it's actually a good thing that the Ninja moved over to Mixer.
Starting point is 01:17:56 I think it's good to show up to a different platform. Because Mixer is actually, honestly, it's not any better or worse than Twitch. You said different features? I mean, it's true. And also, Mixer has a couple of really cool features, like the Hype Zone, which allows, like, so if you're playing, say, Apex or Fortnite or certain games, it somehow has a way of scanning what's happening in the game. And, like, let's say it gets, like, the top five.
Starting point is 01:18:18 And so you're in the top five, they can actually feature you on their main page. Oh, that's cool. It's like an NFL Red Zone kind of thing. Man, Shad would love that. I do have one complaint, though, with Mixer. So after I created my account last week, Mr. Slagai in this guy, by the way. Jeff, he went in my chat,
Starting point is 01:18:38 or he had my chat. I started, like, typing stuff. So I banned him. And he got unbanned by paying for it. What? You're able to pay somehow, I guess. That's awesome. No way.
Starting point is 01:18:51 I love that. That's so great. Do you get the money or just mixer? No, it's not like real money. It's like, it's like, it's a earned points or whatever. Like the longer you are, you get like a few sparks or whatever. So, yeah, so the way it works because I was actually on Mixer today is actually one of the questions. Because I was really curious because I realized that no one really knows a lot about mixer.
Starting point is 01:19:08 Right? So I was like, I'm going to do some research for my own to see like if it's like a viable platform. I've had the NDXK account for like two years now. Yeah, you never use it. But the way it sparks work is sparks are just like, it's like, it's like points you get to like, to like, throw in emotes or do cool things on the stream and kind of like interact with it and then embers are like the bits of the platform and depending on how many sparks you get you get a higher cut of the bits so basically if people are in your stream and they're interacting and you get the sparks by leveling up in somebody's stream so like if you hop in my stream and like I think every 10 minutes you get like a couple points or like expi points and that translates into more sparks and so you can a few minutes we have a few minutes left in this podcast that's oh yes yeah We gotta get out of here. We gotta meet in five minutes.
Starting point is 01:19:54 Is there anything else you want to cover before? No, yeah, no. Just, you know, check me out on Mixer. Mixer.com slash slag guy in the sky. That's me. We're trying to get it partnered so we can flex on handy. Like Slide Guy in the sky, Spy Guy in the Sky. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:20:11 Rewards are coming soon, you know, so if you don't get any messages about it, you know, give us some time. And they'll be out soon. New cases are coming soon, too. I can't think of anything else. Let us know when you think about the podcast. What you like, what you don't like, who you like, and why don't you like the interns?
Starting point is 01:20:28 Oh, yeah. It's understandable. After this, it's going to get fed, I haven't. It's been years. Go back to your basement. Back to the basement, we go. Throw us an effing shot, or throw me an effing shot, so I, because I get to edit out all the, all the expletives.
Starting point is 01:20:45 There's five crisp words in this stuff. Yeah, and editing them is not fun. It's actually kind of annoying. It does sound fun when you're listening to it, though. You hear a little... Yeah. I like how you started the podcast last week with it. Oh, yeah?
Starting point is 01:20:57 Yeah. It started with the horn. Yeah. And then it kept in the Wii shop. I think that means I screwed up on the editing then. I did. All right. During like pauses, we just feel like we theme music.
Starting point is 01:21:13 Yeah. Yeah, and like any of their opinions you guys have on it, like, should we have a music bed? It's basically like in light music, you know, under the... Who do you guys want? on here as well. We might have to have a guest in next time, I think. He's still going to shake it up a little bit. And he's been bugging us about it.
Starting point is 01:21:28 Yeah. I've been trying to tell him anything about the puck. But I think, like, the more he bugs, unless I'm on there. Exactly. You know, it's like, you can't bug. You said to, like, you know, hey, it'd be cool if I was in there
Starting point is 01:21:38 and then like that, but it keeps asking about it. Andy's the only NDXE employee who could probably take over our jobs. And he doesn't know it. He probably, like, he's just the ultimate meme. or casually mentioned how we should have like Andy on the podcast and never bring him on the podcast.
Starting point is 01:21:57 That's the plan I think. It would just be like, does he really exist? I don't think he's Andy as real. It sounds too crazy. I think he's just like Ivan's all three ego, right? Yeah. That'd be kind of weird.
Starting point is 01:22:08 It was actually the case. It was actually. Yeah, it was actually... It's my son. What? It's a... It's nothing like you. That's okay.
Starting point is 01:22:18 Oh, you sure he's your son? All right, guys. With that, we're going to head out. very much let us know what you think and we will see you next time bye okay right
