Big Boy Cuddle Time. So today we have a very, very, very... incredibly super duper, soft and squishy and very Germany mixedy special guest. And that is the one and only NST cuddle. Hello, Cuddle. Yikes. Hello. Cuddle, man.

Exactly. So Cuddle is, I don't know Cuddle as well as Ivan does, but from what Ivan always tells me, Cuddle is the original fan. He's the original. Cuddle is the inspiration for everything I have done with the NXC community. And I'm not just saying that because he's on here, but I really mean that. Like he was the first person I ever encountered where I feel like he believed in what I was trying to do. And he inspired me. like you know he actually pushed me to do stuff like he pushed me to to to create the nzxte club

he pushed me to do things like the podcast to do things like the sticker concert all like basically everything he's always been by my side and he's my cuddle oh how do you feel about that cuddle how does it make you feel hearing that like real life i'm feeling great honestly in the last couple of weeks I'm just feeling very happy and stuff. I had my downs and stuff, but I was getting better and better. And I'm so glad I'm here and have all the people on the discount and everything. Could you say that you're feeling very cuddly right now? I am.

Indeed. How about snuggly? Sure. Snuggles with cuddles? Snuggles with cuddles, let's go. No, yeah, but, you know, Cuddle said, you know, I'm doing pretty good. I've had my ups and down. And that's like everyone, you know, everyone in the server has ups and down.

even me, even Dennis, you know? And that's the reason for the setting up the club, the way it's set up. We wanted to create a community that was all about positivity and friendship and helping each other and things like that. And, you know, that's one of the reasons why the rules are, quote, unquote, so strict and a lot of people can't handle it because every other community you go to is very toxic, you know, and then you come here. And then it's like everyone's like you can't curse, but you know, you can snuggle with cuddle.

So it's like, yeah, it's all about the positive energy and the vibes. Yeah, and that's honestly like what I like the most about the discode. It's like a big community. It's like a family, honestly. Yeah. And when somebody has a bad day, everyone's there to like cheer them up and stuff. Yeah. That's why the server exists, right?

So we can all be friends and be in his club together and have fun and play video games. Even Cuddle is the one that told me we should add the purple heart emoji to a club. Yeah, remember? Yeah, exactly. Really? Yeah, because we wanted to make it about love. negotiating about a name for the club. I'm not aware of that.

Yeah. And we had some horrible ideas and some good ones. Yeah. But yeah, we also knows a lot of the secret stuff we're working on before other people. Not all the time, but a lot of times. No, you still do. You still do. Yeah, kind of.

I have the puppy junior previews. Yeah. Poppy Jr. previews. All right. So for those who may not know you cuddle, because I mean, the community has grown so much, even like just in the past few months, right? You know, so many new people coming in.

I see a lot of, you know, a lot of white names, little names, a lot of green names in the server lately. Let's get to know you a little bit. Where are you located? Where are you from, Cuddle? Because you have a very interesting accent. Yes.

I am from Hamburg, Germany, which is far away from NZC headquarters but yeah it's kind of crazy that it's still like so connected and stuff even globally I've looked up Cuddle's house on Google Maps and weirdo no it's seriously looks like a little cottage looks so peaceful to me I love it it has like a storybook house it has like a triangle roof has like some nice some nice trees like a cartoon Yeah, it's No, like on the Street View image from Google, you can actually

see seven-year-old me in the door. Really? Oh, dude, I seen that kid. I didn't know that was you. Wait, it was me. Wow. That's a really old image, though. What the heck? Yeah, because Google did it once in Germany, but not like everywhere because every German wanted to like have their

house censored and stuff. We're going to have to ban cuddle now for breaking TOS. The last available information we happens that he's seven years old so maybe he should uh sorry cuddle yeah co we had to ban you now for breaking tos you're under 13 all right bye bye i looked up his address recently because um i i sent him a little gift and then um i was like you know what i've never looked up where he actually lives let me i was curious and then i saw the google map thing and i was like wow man this guy lives like in a little college uh cottage look so peaceful here very cuddly i definitely snuggle in that house for

sure. They're baking cookies in there all the time. There's always a warm fire going on. Soup's always on. So, Kato, have you, have you always lived in Germany? Yes, my whole life. I lived in this house, in this town, in this country. On this planet. In this universe, this galaxy? In this universe, yes, exactly. What about other universes? He comes from Astro World. Cattle World. I lived in Cadill World. And I think you were mentioning earlier that you have a very particular accent.

Can you explain that to us? Because I'm actually really interested in that. Well, yeah. So basically when I first started learning English, I learned British English because that's what we kind of do here in Germany. Good day, boys. And then I like kind of started talking on NSXT and had like online friends. And so my accent got mixed with American accents, whatever.

Then I lived in, well, I did in exchange to Australia for four months. So I kind of had bad influence as well. So my accent is really messed up and I can't describe it honestly. Dude, you're, no, you don't have a messed up accident. Accident, messed up accent. Everyone has an accent. I have an accent. No, I don't.

We're talking about. I have a zero accent. I'm so perfect. English is in my first language either. But it doesn't matter what you sound like as long as we can understand each other. you know and that's to me that's the beautiful thing about the server is that we have people from all over the world and we can communicate with each other you know and to me that's like a very very beautiful thing because it's like the first time in history where that's really possible you know that is correct you have a question what's sorry go ahead cuddle what it wasn't um possible in the boomer times back in the days yeah who cares are boomers so i'm Ivan, actually, we have a question from the community because I want to ask this real quick. What's your first language?

It's from Reese. Because he said it was in English. It's German. And yours, Ivan? And that's my native language, whatever you want to call it. And I just learned English in school, a little bit of French, but I completely failed that. So yeah, German and English. Can you say anything in French?

Yes, my ami. Je suis cattle. And that's about it. I'm 14 Ho-ho Oh Oh Oh

One of Yeah Mine is actually Technically Spanish as well But once I started Going to grade school Like I learned English Pretty quickly

And then my accent Just completely drops That's why I sound like A not brown man And to the day I still speak Spanish I speak Spanish Spanish is terrible

I haven't knows See It is I'm not Spanish isn't like perfect Or great But I speak it

I understand Everything I can't write it that well, but I speak Spanish with my parents. Yeah, I was lucky because my dad, he got a job working for the county, and he went to, like, community college out here. So because of that, there was like a lot of English spoken in the house. So me and my dad speak to each other, speak to each other in English, and then my mom speaks to me in Spanish and I respond to her in English. That's one of those things. And we both

understand each other perfectly fine. Just kind of weird how that works out, but, you know, it's great. No, it's actually kind of cool if you think about it, right? Yeah. Okay. Back to Cuddle because who cares about us. Everyone wants to know about Cuddle. If you don't mind telling us Cuddle, how old are you? I am 16. I turned 16 this July.

And what you consider yourself in New York? A boomer, Gen X? I don't know what generation I am. He's the post-Blow-generation. The post-Millone generation. They'll be known as the Melonelonials. Yeah, Melonials, exactly. All right, I'm a head out.

See later. And do you attend school? Do you work? What do you do when you're not cuddling everyone in the Discord server? I attend school and I'm hopefully finished in one and a half years, 2021. Fun fact, Cullet just quit his job. Oh, really? I also, no, I quit my job, actually.

Actually, because he asked me for advice on that. Yeah, I know. I worked for a burger store here. It was really awesome. Like, the people there were awesome. The customers was great experience, but the bosses were just. kind of doing bad shady stuff like hamburgers so yeah we sell burgers you mean a restaurant no it's not a restaurant because like it's a butcher but they also make like fast food

it's kind of cool the concept so you live in hamburg Germany and you sold hamburgers all day yeah exactly was it the original hamburg store um the hamburger doesn't come from hamburg actually it's kind of a myth but it's not really i don't know where they're from probably America. Comes from hot dog Germany. No, the other's up from Denmark, I think.

From sandwich, Osir. Yeah, Cuddle every once in a while. I'm a German sock at cooking, so. Cuddle every once in a while would send me a picture

of the hamburgers he made. And they looked amazing. They look very, very juicy, like almost like umami burgers. If you guys aren't familiar with that, like very, uh,

they looked like they were very savory. It's really the best burgers I've ever had. What about some of the udgy burgers? So when you quit, would you tell your boss? I WhatsApped him saying I want to quit and was asking him like, how to do it. He just left me on read. Yeah, you should have asked me for advice, not Dennis. I would have told you never to message you on WhatsApp.

I don't tell them to mention WhatsApp. I told him to tell him, hey, I'm leaving for other opportunities. Thank you for your time. I didn't tell him, hey, get on WhatsApp until your boss you're quitting. Also, why WhatsApp? Well, no, no. So my boss doesn't work. at the store I was and the manager was on vacation.

So what I just said, I left like the formal letter on the office there and told the co-workers to tell the boss and yeah, that was it. I never got a response back from the guy. I don't know. He's kind of pissed or something. I mean, well, what can you do right? Because people told me I was the best associate there and they were already said that I left, but they all understood it because like the boss was mistreating the associates.

I'm sorry to hear that. Sounds like a very important situation. He didn't say anything. He's like, you can't quit. You're fired. Get out of here. And take your cuddle robes with you. Give me that snuggy.

Well, yeah, like, you know, you're young and you're going to probably quit a lot of jobs, you know. I've quit. I've quit a lot of jobs, too. I've quit a lot of jobs. Like, yeah, after a while, like, you know, you have to either, like, like, if, you're going to, like, you're working somewhere and you don't like it or something's not going your way you have to make a choice right do you just keep doing the same thing over and over and hate it or do you change it and i think you did the right thing man you shouldn't work it somewhere that you don't like then it's just no i like the plays and i like

the people there but it was just that the boss was pretty crappy yeah yeah i think the last five years i've left slash gotten fired from slash got laid off from like four to five drops at least i think Six. I plan not to. I plan to join NZXT as soon as possible and never quit there. Unless. Unless. Unless.

I'm telling you, ma'am, saving you a seat. That's great. Dennis is sitting in it right now, keeping it warm for you. All right. Dennis, get out of cuddle seat. Double cheeked up on the Wednesday or Thursday afternoon. Ivan, Jeff, actually has a comment for you. How much you worked at N60 for 30 years?

What do you know about quitting? Um, yes. And not much. I don't know. I haven't worked for 30 years. NXT's only been around for 15 years. So that would be impossible. And that would mean Johnny founded the company when he was five. I mean that's, that would be pretty cool. If you did. Let me see. I can go down my job history real quick. It hasn't been that many jobs, to be honest. First job was a pizza place. Second job was the world famous chicken dinner restaurant. restaurant and nutsberry farm he actually worked at pizza Germany the first piece of place ever and then after that when I graduated from high school on the day I graduated high school I walked to UPS because it was on the same street as my college and I asked for a job and they hired me on the spot and it was cool because I worked there the entire time I was in college and then I graduated and I quit and then started my career and for a long time I worked in the radio and television industries and like behind the scene stuff like production and I got sick of it and decided to do something I

liked and then I was like you know what I like I like video games so yeah started making my way into gaming stuff until I ended up here and that's it and now I'm back doing production stuff apparently you know right yeah that comes from soccer podcast yeah it's not same here same here too like I was working with LG Mobile. I think it told us before, like on my streaming of the places. Like, I used to work on, like, the retail industry sales and being like an instar rep. And then I just decided, I hate doing this. And now that I'm getting let go, I'm going to still do something I actually wanted you.

And I just grinded until I got to where I met now and started working in production and finding game tournaments. And now I'm doing production again sitting in front of a board. And now you're a referee for people who fight on the server. Oh, you don't know. It's so bad. So here's a fun fact. If I would have stayed at my UPS job, I would have retired this year because this would have been my 20th year.

I would have retired with a pension. Imagine that. Dude, that would be so awesome. But I'd probably have like a messed up back. Yeah. Probably like, you know, might have died in a car accident. Really nice calves, though, from carrying packages all day. And a really nice leg tan.

Yeah. A lot of brown shorts. Cuddle, do you own any brown shorts? I don't own. Actually, I do. yes I own one how many pairs they're like beige and brown very important information how many pairs of shorts

you own um one I had shorts yeah you got swag you got swag you can't rock shorts no he does no I seen photos I'm like dang this guy this guy jerse is way better than like anyone I know he actually puts uh yeah only well long pens yeah like for the for the pop-up when we were designing the merch that's one thing that cuddle got a stink preview of

because he's such a hype piece I was like okay look here's where we're gonna make what do you think? And he gave a bunch of so much feedback. And we actually changed a lot of the merch we made based on Cuddles feedback because he was like, I would never wear that. That's ugly. And we would change stuff. Somebody post a photo of Cuddles drip on the podcast channel, please. And while we're doing that, I have some more questions for Cuddle. So speaking about jobs and stuff, so you do some cosplay, if I'm from right? I think we talked about that or you've done some like, some like some like work now doing doing cosplay stuff um well no not really i kind of wanted to get

into cosplay but i never actually did i don't know if you're referring to minnie me cuddle who does there's so many cuddles there's so many freaking cuddles man it's funny because um so yeah like minnie me cuddle is the real life cuddled from fortnight and he goes to event and stuff it's awesome i've met up with him and ed dogs in new york this year oh really so cuddle family family united there. Like every once in a while, Dennis will look at me and go, why there's so many cuddles in the server? And I would just tell him like, you know why. Cuddle, man.

Like every so often, like Cuddle will just influence the server and like 20 people will change your name to Cuddle. And it's just like hard to tell who's who. Yeah, I think right now it's all the dogs gang. How do I feel about that? Is there a, is there like a rivalry between the B-Dogs gang and the Cuddle gang? I was B-dogs for like 30 minutes. So as part of the dogs gang. Not anymore.

Yeah, because we don't talk about that. No, go for it. Let's talk about it. Okay, yeah. So Dennis forbids me to change my name every 30 minutes. It's unprofessional. So, yeah, that's the reason why I see Cuddle for the last two days. I had to explain a lot about Cuddle to Dennis.

He said people get confused, but everyone recognizes me. I get confused. Yeah. Because you change your name and then change your profile picture and I can't even tell you. And I'm like, who the heck is this purple person talking all this crap? I'm about the banning right now.

Someone accidentally gave the mod. I'm like, oh, it's just cuddle again. Dennis will ask me stuff and then he's like, why does Cuddle do that? I'm like, because it's Cuddle.

Like you get like cutt. And I'm sure that there's a pin message in one of the channels somewhere where it says like, Cuddle can do whatever he wants. Yeah. It was like two years ago. Yeah. Almost a year.

Yeah. I still have this screenshot saved on my favorites on my phone. You show it everyone. When someone tells me I broke a rule, I just sent the color is the only exception to every rule. This is a big true, big true. So Cuddle, video games. How did you get into video games? What was your first game?

What was your first console or video game that you ever played? Because obviously, because of video games. Yeah. I started way back in the days. I played on my mom's iPhone 3. I started playing pleasure plans. Hey, back in the day, iPhone 3. Woo!

So I started playing Clash of Clans and other mobile games there. And then someday my dad decided to get an Xbox, but I never really liked it because, you know, it's a console and we don't do that as PC gamers. Play a couple of games there, but not really grinded one. And then when I started playing Minecraft, I got hooked to it on my dad's laptop. And then about three years ago, four years ago, I got my own PC, play a couple of bit of Minecraft there and then switch to other games. So would you say that's what got you into computers? It's going to, you go from like Xbox. Yeah, my dad works like in IT and we built the computer together and stuff.

So I got interested there. Yeah. It's funny. It's actually how I kind of got into computers too. Like my dad, he worked for like the like social services, but worked in the, like, the IT and like tech side of it. And he brought home like a computer running DOS. So for those who know, which is basically Windows without. the graphics.

It's all command probably. C drive slash run doom. Dume.exe. Yeah, yeah. And it had one game on it and it was Doom and he and I would play Doom. I think it was actually Doom 2 like all the time. So I got into gaming, learning computers through my dad as well,

but not like you guys. It wasn't because he wanted me to. It was because he was so sick of being like Nintendo and Sega and stuff. And I think it was when the Super Nintendo came out. So whatever year that was like 93 or whatever. And I asked for it. And he's like, I'm sick and tired of you playing these stupid video games. Just making you dumb.

I'm going to buy you a computer so you can actually, you know, do something productive. And then he bought me like a super expensive computer. It was like $5,000. Like super. No, no, it was a, I forget the model, but it was a 486 DX 250 with, you know, DOS and all that. And then literally the first thing I did was I told my friend who had briefly mentioned playing this game called, called Wolfenstein and how cool it was on his brother's PC

and I was like, hey man, how do I play this game? And then he told me how to do it. And then Doom came out and I wanted to play that. And I had to like upgrade RAM on my computer because it wouldn't run. So that's when I was like, okay, let me research now.

How do I actually upgrade RAM? And that's literally how I got into computers because of that. And now look at me now, dad. I know, right? It's actually really funny because my dad's like, so what do you do all day at work? I'm like, I tweet about computers and stuff.

It's like, it makes sense. My dad still doesn't really fully understand what I do either. Like, he came to my house the other day and the joke in my family is that my house is the arcade, you know, because it's just. A bunch of video games? Not so much anymore because I have a daughter and I had to hide a lot of stuff, but yeah, I mean, I have, you know, like 50 controllers around the house somewhere. Oh, go. And I was one. Yeah.

I love video games. I love video games too, but I only play PC mouse on keyboard. So any games that matter? What's your favorite game cuddle? It switches. I'm not like one right now. Probably Overwatch. I got back into it.

I started playing it like one or two years ago. I didn't really stick to it, but I just got back into it. And there's a lot of people on the disco playing it as well. So it's really nice and we can fully team there as well. It's funny actually funny because Karra got me playing the Overwatch again too. And it made me very angry because I feel

like they made the game worse. I hate the cues. I know. I hate the roles. It's so bad. I was playing combe with Murph from the Discord earlier and we queued for like 20 minutes for it takes so long like I would rather have to deal with like five DPS and not play a game for 20 notes. I hope they changed that actually because there's been a lot of like discussion about that. Welcome to the Overwatch cast guys. Are you excited for Overwatch too? Honestly, no. Nobody is like I don't know. I feel like I feel like I feel like it's the same game to me. Like, it's the same heroes, same, just some new stuff.

It feels more like a new season. Not if you play on the controller. Play on a controller. It's a whole new game. She's playing stadia, dude? It's playing stadia. It's a feature of gaming. There's how much I like controllers.

I bought stadia just because I like the controller. Seriously, because to me the controller looks like a Discord logo. And I was like, I have to have a controller that looks like the Discord logo. I don't care about the service. I just wanted the controller. Stadia invented time travel and gaming Because you'd like so much You just walked through time

Surprisingly Stadio works Like flawless for me But the only game I have is destiny And I don't play the FPS games With controllers That's ridiculous

And yeah So it's basically just Sitting there right now But I like the way it looks I mean it is like really cool It's just kind of a My opinion kind of a joke It looks exactly like a Discord logo

to me there it is right there it's like a car logo it's right there in the chat the logo of studying this yeah i don't get the logo either it's weird it's like a scribble someone's like hey here you go here go guys this is a scribble and this is our logo enjoy it and uh yeah good job google you know they have all these artists and all these all these tech people we can yeah exactly thank you thank you malta does look like a like a smudge right so cuddle how'd you find that about nzxte the big question Yeah, the big question. So I think it was actually kind of two years ago exactly. I got an internship at a tech company.

And I started getting into PCs because my PC was hell of ugly and looking trash. So I started up looking new cases at my workplace, not doing work. And I found about NSXT and some different case. I don't remember. And I wanted to know which one is better. And so I joined NZXT the Discord, which was kind of dead back then. But we still had a couple of people to talk. And I was so amazed by them that I decided to buy the NZC case, which was the S340 Elite.

Yeah, and back then there was literally like less than 100 people in the server. No, that were 800, but only like five people talked. Oh, yeah, yeah. Yeah, in the early days, we never really promoted the server much. still really don't. Well, the reason why back, we really don't that much either today, but the reason,

well, I guess now we don't really have to that much, but back then it was just, I didn't have time because it was just me, you know? Yeah. And I had to do like,

you know, I couldn't basically keep up with Twitter and Instagram and Facebook and Reddit. And then, okay, I'm going to throw in Discord in here. And just like, it was so much work.

But eventually, uh, when, you know, things started kind of ramping up, it was, not just Cuddle, but all the original members that were in there, like, active from day one that really, you know, supported the server and helped me out a lot, like, moderating and

making sure that people were not, you know, going crazy in there. So thank you, Cuddle. Thanks, Cuddle. Thank you. How were the early days of the N60 server? Because it wasn't always a club, right? Like, I mean, back in the day, it was just Discord. right it's like what was it like you didn't even have moderators we didn't have one we had

Ivan that was it but he was never online um so it was basically just a couple of people talking about um tech mostly so remember back in the days we had like a couple of channels for redid bots i think and those always sent like the new subreddits and stuff i never looked into those because i don't have redid actually but That's interesting. Yeah, I don't know. It was some people talking about tech. That's it.

Yeah, and back then, I don't even think we were making computers yet. I think it was just hardware. Just cases and stuff like that. Yeah, cases, coolers, accessories. So it was like all the talk in the server was just, you know, about building computers. Really? Yeah. Cuddle, can you name any like?

Huh? Yeah. No. Okay. So I go ahead. Um, so yeah, I told you that back my first PC, I, build together with my dad, but like, I don't really remember anything from that. So I completely learned building PCs on this Discord actually back in the case.

Um, like, I didn't know anything and I didn't watch videos and stuff. I just had like Thanos and all the people advise me and basically give me a step-by-step tutorials through Discord. Oh. Imagine if we had the PSU guy just tuck and smack on your power supply choice back then. That would have been so cool. Yeah. My first power supply wasn't really good.

It fried my 1070 back then. So, yeah, he probably would have advised me something different. That's true. Nobody really cares about power supplies anyway. They're all the same. Exactly. Literally the same thing. All of them exactly the same.

Yeah, you don't need to be power supplies. Yeah. Everyone does. So Cuddle, can you name any like interesting situations in the server back of the day? like any like spicy drama anything that was really odd that like made us going to change the way that we ran the server.

What do you mean by back in the day? Do you mean like pre before it popped up? Yeah, yeah. So like it's like before the club, you know, before we had like a big mod team before we had like big rules like what were like one of the situations that you can just quickly remember

that like made you go, okay like we need to do something about the server you know it's getting at a hand and we got to put in rules. rules like what what situations do you remember um my reply to that is no because we never had any situations like that it was just us like 10 people talking about tech and we never had anyone say bad words or anything i remember back in the days the rules were on message from ivan saying please don't curse my mom is reading this yeah i would tell that my mom's in the server

no there was three rules the three rules were be nice have fun and and don't curse No, be nice, have fun, and help each other. Those were the rules. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. And to this day, like the current rules are based around those three ideas, which are based on the core values, you know, of, you know, primarily fostering community. But the whole idea was to do those three things, you know, be nice each other, have fun with each other, and help each other. And that was it.

But we had to actually implement real rules and real mods after, uh, we uh we signed in just oh yeah that's when that was when the server popped off that's when we thought it'd be like i remember we went to from 800 people as i mentioned earlier to like a hundred k in like two days yeah i couldn't check my twitter uh it was crazy back then yeah and that's when we actually had to set everything up what if we did it again we had moderator set up no we don't do that like now when we do giveaways with influencers we don't even put our discord server anymore for that reason because it's way it's like going to unless it's way too much like chaos you know and we don't want to ban people you know like we don't want to just bring in so many people

that have no idea what we're all about and then they get banned because you know like it's it's it's i admit our discord server is very different than any other discord server out there but it's huge there's not just that it's just you know the way like the way it's red just the fact that you can't, you know, post a spicy meme or curse. You know, it's not easy to do those things because, like I said, every other server you go, you can get away with that. And you can even break rules in a lot of other servers. But here I feel like our moderators do a great job at not just enforcing the rules, but also kind of explaining, you know, why things are, you know, like it's not just, we're not going to ban you. unless you're at absolute 100% just big troll you're not going to get instantly banned without a lot of chances yeah exactly yeah or you start that's my my way of moderating that was always my position I'm like the friendliest mod most giving chances mod here I'm kind of known for that some people hate me for that some love it

actually we were talking about that yesterday yeah so we were talking about like we have two extremes of mod. We have me as a friendly mod and Savage as a very strict mode. And it's good because all the others are in between and we have a really good team right now. We're really proud of the team here. Yeah, I think right now we have a very good team. And I also think it's very important that that the moderators are different, you know? Because if we were all the same, it would be very like a one dimensional thing. But, you know, what a lot of people don't know is even the moderators we we disagree a lot that is true all the time

literally all the time and we we work through this stuff you know we try we try to do the right thing it's not easy you know sometimes moderators get upset too and get angry with each other as well like people in the server do but at the end of the day I think

you know we come to the conclusion that okay let's let's figure it out and it Right. Nobody's perfect. You know, we're always learning. I would say the... Unless. I would say the moderator that disagrees the most with everything would be...

And like, even I disagree with Cuddle sometimes, but it's, he's always the one that kind of, you know, let, let me know, like, when something's going on that needs to be addressed. That's how I know, like, okay, I got to do something now. Cuddle messes me. And yeah, but like nowadays, I'm like when the team decides on something, they decide on something good because everyone in the teams want the best for the servers.

Right. Even if we have like different opinions, it's great that we have like that we can discuss about them and stuff. Yeah. Right. And that's um and that's why we did pick the mods that we did because we wanted people who one are active obviously, you know, but two have like different, uh, different opinions and come from different backgrounds in the sense of like different experience, uh, modding and things like that. So that's how we have. team that we have now because I feel like it's it's currently the most diverse and we argue a lot more but I feel like it's a more productive type of argument it's more like yeah we're arguing because we care not because we just don't like each other except for cuddle we change his name I don't like him when he does that but I'm not though no problem with anybody cuddle can do whatever he wants exactly he's poppy junior that we have it live on the podcast someone someone clip that chat clip that

So you joined the server and it's just a simple server. Everyone's talking about, you know, computer parts and things like that. How did you feel when the club was announced? Well, the suburb was already big back then. But the people were there because they wanted to talk and stuff, not just because they wanted rewards, which I think a lot of people are doing right now. But I don't know. I was really happy because I had the opportunity to design it together with puppy. And yeah, I don't know.

It was great. How do you feel about the current award system now? What do we can do better? I like it, yeah. I like how it's good. What do we do wrong? Well, I mean, the idea for the club, you know, apart from the rewards, was to always do more fun stuff like the sticker contest we got going on right now, right?

Like the podcast we have going on right now. And it's actually been, last month was exactly one year since we launched the club. And the reason why we're barely starting to do the, fun stuff now is because it was actually very hard to figure out how to just do the reward stuff. I mean, it seems easy, you know, because it's like, oh, I just give you my address and then you send me something. But once you give me your address, there's a whole bunch of stuff that has to go on. Like, you know, I had to figure out, okay, I need a warehouse because I can't ship the stuff myself now. There's just too much. At first, I was, I was literally stuffing envelopes

with stickers and manually, like, writing, you know, people's addresses and looking stamps and And one day Johnny saw me and he's like, you can't be doing that. You're right. I can't. I got to figure it out. So wait too much time doing this. So that's when I founded the clout house, which is next door to our new warehouse now. It's where they keep all the club merch and Yeezy, surprisingly.

And then the next step was, okay, now I got to figure out how to make this all automated. So I don't have to sit here licking stamps and writing people's names. So then I had to work with our dev team over here, our MIS team, to figure out ways to make this so streamlined that we can just import it into our shipping system, which then goes to the third-party warehouse, which then creates the orders, which then packs the orders and shifts the orders and gets all the tracking information, all that stuff. It took a really long time, but thankfully, all that stuff is pretty much set up now. people who've been in the server a while might remember earlier this year there was like two months where I just could not get rewards out because I was like working on all this making sure everything was transferred accordingly but now we're at the point where we can do more fun stuff and if you guys look at the sticker contest channel you can see you know there's a lot of there's a lot of talented people in here a lot of them are creative a lot of them want to do fun stuff and there's a lot of people listening to the podcast so we want to do more fun stuff. And I think Cuddle has always known that. And he's always telling me, you guys should do this. You guys should do that. You guys should do that. And I always have to kind of like, okay, Cuddle, I know, man. I'm trying. Like I know we have to do that. But I also

have to figure out how I could even mail this package. You know, like how could I even do, you know, just basic stuff. But, you know, one year later, you know, I think we figure it out most of the the hard stuff. Now it's time to have fun. Unless. Yeah. And Zik see pop up in Germany soon. Yeah. Hopefully one day. How did you feel about the pop-up, by the way?

Since I mean, you're all the way out in Germany, like, what did you think from what you were able to see? Um, so what I saw was amazing. So I have my server page. I can actually post it in the channel. I have it set up in a very great order. I have the Elenium server, which is an artist for those who know, and I love Elenium. It's my favorite artist. Then I have the NXT server, which I'm most active in. And then I have my own two servers.

Then I have the first folder, which is called Sometimes Talk. Hold on, hold on, hold on. Sometimes talking. You got two servers. Why two? One at one. Emote. Oh, okay. Yeah, so one is like my main server where I chat with my friends, playing with my friends.

Okay. Played Minecraft Bad Wars with them. And we have a music bot and stuff. So that's like where we hang out. And then one is the Cuddle Cloud. Uh-huh. Came up with that name, which is my emot server. And it's exclusive for my friends and people who I really really like.

And it's also a free. cloud because like this code basically gives you unlimited cloud space for like images and stuff but that's kind of dead honestly it's actually pretty smart but yeah that's where i'm totally from i wonder how many people have like a it's like a cloud server i think i think a lot i do i think a lot of people do you know um but about that but it i don't use it like that because it's just hard to find stuff you know um but i think i mean me and dennis we have a uh a tech upside down nzxti discord server where we just test stuff and upload stuff but yeah it's i guess it is technically like free cloud storage but i wouldn't say it's very easy to use it's not effective yeah yeah

it's definitely not yeah it cuddle uh so what do you think of like the direction nzxte's been going since you've you know known about us like you've seen us you know go from a component manufacturer to a computer gaming company to doing pop-up, doing the merge, doing headsets, audio stuff. Yeah, like, do you think we're, like, what do you think of all that? Yeah, that's great because like when BLD first launch, I didn't really recognize it because I live in Germany and they only shipped US and Canada. But hopefully one day it will be worldwide. The main thing I like the most about the change.

It was like from the very start, we were like, we were like, okay, we're going to make the puck the mascot because the puck we basically used it like, like, not like a meme. Like, yeah, we memed it, but it was always like, it was such a weird product that we embraced it, right? And then, because it was just so different from what anyone else ever did. And people thought it was really weird. Like, why is NXT talking about this puck all the time? And I love that because I love being weird and different.

So when he came, when Cuddle told me, you know, you need to make a mascot, I basically. I told you that many times. Yeah. I basically said, all right, how do I turn this puck into a thing? But I thought Cuddle was our mascot. Cuddle is a mascot. But that's when I am a mascot too. That's like when we came up with Pucci, you know, we're like, we just basically made Pucci a little, a little character.

And now Pucci's like, you know, a mascot. He's more than a mascot now, I think. He's like a... Yeah, it's like representation of the server and the community. Yeah, he's like the face, you know. Yeah. He's, he is NXT and the community. Like, you know, hopefully everyone in the server gets Pucci one day.

like we were calling him Pucky Pucky Pucky and then I just one day I always wanted to name a Purpee yeah perpi you always like them people didn't like that um I don't know what it was One day it was Coochie I think I think I was just looking at the word puck, and I started spelling puck, just P-U-C-C. And I'm like, wait, if I had an eyes, Pucci, like Gucci. And now that's so they have just stuck. I don't think, I don't think his name could be anything else, to be honest.

It's always the weekends right like me six dies or you know one of the bots dies and now I got to fix it or you know like I remember I spent like two hours one day with a super Sui just fixing the permissions because like for some reason muted roles like kept being able to talk into random channels that had nothing do with them and they're posting like stupid photos because they're you know they're born they got muted because they broke a rule or something so like that's like we did things like we uh we went in the me six and we made it so the rules don't stack anymore so you don't have these giant list of rules and things like that um so that's what i honestly loved it when we stack the rolls that was great but it it breaks stuff yeah it breaks a lot of things.

like that's true people don't really realize that like once you have like over like two roles on discord yeah uh especially when they have conflicting permissions it does a lot of really dumb and also we have a very large discord server like not just with people but there's a lot of moving pieces a lot of channels a lot of bots like this is so much going on the stuff is glitching all the time when setting things up oh yeah I don't think server is good to have servers is big discord is meant to be you know it's so big that you know we actually had some Discord staff come in and check out. We were doing everything right because there's just so much going on.

And there was a lot of good applications. And there's a lot of people that we didn't select as moderators that could have been moderators,

but we had to narrow it down some way, yeah. To, you know, just a handful of people and just four people, right? Yeah, 34. And the way that we approached the selection process, it was really about the people that in their applications. And we interviewed them too on the phone and stuff, or on through Discord, but the people that were kind of telling us. giving us problems and solutions. They were pointing out problems in the server

that they thought could be addressed certain ways. And that's awesome because, you know, it's one thing to have, you know, moderator experience or even be passionate about the community. But it's another thing to proactively want to solve problems and find problems that no one's really either seen or addressing. So that's what it ultimately came down to. And it was just a coincidence that it came down to two girls and two boys.

but I do think that's cool because it's very important to have diversity, especially because our community is mostly male. I do think we need to empower the females more for real because it's, like it's, you know, going back to the whole toxic environment thing, especially in gaming, it's, you know, it's very... Was because I wanted Less people to get banned And the best way I can think of doing that was to have a role of just people that were helping people not get banned by explaining the rules, pointing them in the right direction, answering questions before a moderator stepped in and just warned them for cursing. So that did happen to a certain extent, but a lot of people that didn't really understand that, they would just call them mini-mods. and then they would like say like well these apprentices these mini-mods they have no real power screw them i'll do whatever i want anyway and then the models will come in and eventually it would get banned so we just decided you know if people are treating them as mini-mods let's make them and give them power and let's see what people say and sure enough yeah like people were like

oh wow now these people actually have power now i might have to behave right yeah yeah um and then after that that's when we opened up the uh the you know brought on the new moderator. So yeah, that was that. Pretty much. Yeah. But to answer your question, I really do want everyone to be an apprentice and to help, you know, welcome the newbies.

And if you see someone breaking a rule, before you ping a mod, please just, just tell them. It's not, honestly, it's not a big deal to break some rules. I'll bring my notebook with me in case I have to write something down because if I don't write it down, I'm just going to forget it by the time I get back home. And then, um, I get back in at 6.30.

I turn on the morning news. I, I watch the weather report. I make my coffee. And then at 7 a.m., that's when my daughter wakes up. And then I have to get her milk, change her diaper, make her breakfast from, so from seven to eight, I'm taking care of my daughter. And then at eight, from eight to eight 30, I'm showering and eating breakfast. And then I head out. And I come here and I'm here from nine until like four, five, six.

And then I get home. And then as soon as I open the door, my wife, handing my daughter. And I'm with her, playing with her. and changing her diaper, feeding her dinner, all that stuff. And until we put her down, give her a bath, all that stuff. And then at 8 o'clock is when I have time again for myself, but that's when, okay. Doesn't start bugging me. I opened up my notebook again, and I'm like, okay, what's all this stuff I didn't do today?

I'm like, oh, man, I got to message Dennis about this, or I got to put this on Trello, or I got to do this on Slack. And it just is never ending. Where is the How to Build a PC book? So, great question. Yeah. That's also on the to-do list. It's been, I know it's been a really long time, but the reason why it's taken so long is because the creative team is helping me redesign the whole thing. And it's on the list. It's just, there's just a bunch of other stuff that, it just, it feels like stuff happens. And we have to like kind of keep bumping, we have to prioritize every project, you know.

And it does not make sense to focus on that when it's, all that information is available online. You know, we have free on YouTube, on our blog. And then we have to still come up. We have to, the creative team has to work on like, you know, manuals for products we're launching or banners for campaigns. We're running. It's just, yeah, it's really hard. Or a cookbook for, but we do have a, we do want to do it again, but we're going to do it a little bit differently. That's why it's taking a lot longer to do.

And it's also, it was never a reward, to be honest. It was, I just, I thought it would be cool to make these books. It was just like a website we had. They said, we can make a small one or a big one. So when I ordered the first batch of poochies, I said, make me both so I can see the difference. And it was like, the other one was just giant. Yeah, no, it's super huge. So I said, well, obviously, that's too big. Let's go with the small one.

And then people ops thought it was really cool. So they decided to make some for employees only. And my daughter loves sitting on that thing. It's like a little chair for her. Giant. It's got a hole, you know, a big hole that perfectly fits your butt. Joel Holzen wants to know, and my cuddle's favorite cousin. Yes. So this is actually a funny story. We were talking about something earlier, like a couple of days ago. And he told me his last name in the context. And I was like, whoa, it's like my last name. But in English, it was like, whoa, my family moved to America a couple hundred years ago. And our last name before we changed it to the American version was the same last name that I have right now. So we might be related.

You guys should do that's why we call each other cousins. Do 23 and me. You guys can find out for sure. Yeah. Or I'm just like an ancestry stuff I thought that you guys can look up, right?
