Starting point is 00:01:01 episode 23 of the NZXT Clubcast, the official podcast of the NZXT community. This podcast is recorded live every Thursday at 10 a.m. Pacific Standard Time on the official NZXT Discord server and is available to stream wherever you listen to your favorite podcasts. My name is Dennis and with me as always is Ivan. Fly me to the moon. Fly me.
Starting point is 00:01:23 I had something, but it escaped my mind. What's going on, Ivan? How are you? I'm a little tired, but doing good. I'm here. I didn't want to do a little bit. podcast today but can't let the people down man we had we we set a you know we set a goal of doing this every Thursday at the same time and we haven't missed a day yet right so we try to keep to it right do our best to to do what we can for the for the community so they can have fun we were in
Starting point is 00:01:49 that includes us playing weird we shop intros that we find yeah that's a it's I mean it's really fun to do the podcast I do love it I do love talking to people on the server but It is very draining on me. You know, after this, after every podcast, I have to just basically, I basically just take like a three hour break because I can't talk to people. And then, you know, in top of that, there's always like, you know, the usual work to do. So, yeah, I read a want to talk to people. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:21 And then I do this and then I want to talk to people even less. And it's very hard to do a podcast the day after Christmas, the day after New Year's. It's like the two days where you're just like the most tired and out of it. But we made it, man. Fly me to the moon in 2020. How was your New Year's? Do any fun? I played Uno with my wife and daughter.
Starting point is 00:02:41 Who won? My wife. I let her win. I have to let her win, man. Every time. And she also cheats. How does she cheat? She, because she bought this.
Starting point is 00:02:51 Because I know she listened, so. She bought this new Uno deck that has like these cards where you could draw in your own rules. Oh, yeah. And she basically came up with these rules that just, basically allow her to win all the time. But I don't care. It's fun. I notice that like every time I go to play, you know, with people,
Starting point is 00:03:09 they always have some special house rules. It makes zero sense. And I'm like, this is not how you play the game. Like, oh, well, like, you can stack the reverses over and over. I'm like, that's how my wife plays. Yeah, it's too crazy, dude. It's like, just play a regular game of Uno and just get mad normally. Why do you get mad extra?
Starting point is 00:03:25 Yeah. I used to be like that, but the older I get the list. I care. I'm more of a phase 10 kind of guy anyway Same thing with like What's that? What's the server-friendly way of saying this? It's like when you play juice pong You know when you throw
Starting point is 00:03:40 Ping-pong balls into a cup of water And you drink your your apple juice If you lose It's like people always have some like really crazy rules It's like Okay like I've never played this before But I guess you know House rules are house rules
Starting point is 00:03:54 I gotta play with them So today's special guest is you guys Again, because it's right after the holidays and we did not prepare a guest, which is fine. Well, it's not that we didn't prepare. We just didn't know if we were going to do a podcast or not. True. So we didn't schedule anyone. I mean, I knew we probably were going to do one anyway, but I didn't.
Starting point is 00:04:11 I was hoping we wouldn't. I forced myself to do things I hate, man. Like, for real. Same here. Like, the more I don't want to do stuff, the more I just, like, go out there and do it. I'm like, I don't want to do a podcast. I didn't want to come in at work today, but I came early and then. You could have told me.
Starting point is 00:04:28 I would just not showed up. Yeah, but no, it's like I want to do the things that I don't want to do. Because if I just did the things I wanted to do, I just be eating Doritos on my couch all day playing, you know, Mario Rabbids or something. Doritos or Hot Cheetos, man. Really? Yeah, my wife's a hot Cheetos. I like Hot Cheetos. I like hot Cheetos.
Starting point is 00:04:44 I like, I feel like me and your wife would be like really good friends, to be honest, because it seems like we have a lot of similar interests, especially when it comes to food. She does think you have a beautiful voice. Oh, thank you. Hi. Because I know she listens, right? Yeah, she does. You know, I don't sound like this in real life. I am much more nasly.
Starting point is 00:05:02 I crank the bass in my voice all the way up because it makes you sound like a big radio man. So, yeah, so we're basically just going to be hanging out with you guys for a little bit and answering some more questions. I'm sure you guys have a lot of questions. And I'm sure we'll get questions that nobody's ever asked before. Hopefully, right? Hopefully. That's what always happens. Let me pin some of these because I feel like some of these are not being pinned.
Starting point is 00:05:27 anything that even looks like a question I'm just going to pin it because I can have that power I was your New Year's good I got Liddy do you see Twitter maybe I don't know I don't think so okay you should check Twitter
Starting point is 00:05:42 let's see who's Twitter your Twitter someone will link it I know someone in here is like keeping an eye on me or something but yeah it was fun it's just my aunt and her her grandkids came through
Starting point is 00:05:56 and I had some friends over and we just know. You mean your cousins? No, are they my cousins? I don't know how family choose work. I don't know what second cousins versus cousins. Oh, this thing? Yeah, dude. Getting Litty.
Starting point is 00:06:09 Wow. We were doing like, all right, you know, end of the decade, right? Supposedly, if you follow the correct calendar, end of the decade, what music, like, for you to find the decade, right? So we had like, you know, all the boomer music, you know. We didn't have no Old Town Road. We had little John the Eastside boys. We had some E-40.
Starting point is 00:06:29 Oh. We had, we had, you know, Nelly was on there too, you know, all those like 2000s songs. Actually, I think Nelly. No, Nelly. It was, no, it was actually 90s because I remember when I was in high school, that's when the song. Andal, I'mma, mammy, ma'am it, e-oh. It's not at all. Okay.
Starting point is 00:06:52 See, Nelly. That's not, just look up that song. I'm pretty sure that was. It's called E.I. I know the song. I think that's when I was in high school. Pretty sure. It came out.
Starting point is 00:07:00 It's real hard to find. 2000. All right. So not 90s. So technically it's not the decades, but I mean, you know, we listen to that stuff when we're like kids and that moment. I do think you have horrible taste in music. Then you want me to post the link to your retreat of Amanda's? I mean, it's on Twitter, so I don't care.
Starting point is 00:07:21 Speaking of which, if you guys are listening anywhere, not on the Discord, you're missing out because you have live chat, live interaction. Get more bang for your buck if you listen live. But if not, that's totally cool. You know, we have the podcast everywhere now, I think.
Starting point is 00:07:36 I don't think anyone's complaining about where we have a podcast. I think you pretty much hit all the bases. Broke our record. We had more listens in December than we did. I think every month we've done this podcast combined, which is cool. Yeah. We had two people listen.
Starting point is 00:07:53 And lea, me, EI, E, O, O, what's happening? because I see Savage knows what's up. Savage out there with those bangers. All right. Questions. We have questions.
Starting point is 00:08:01 I'm going to add all those words to the band words list now. The Ben Words list. Speaking of which. When the NZXT clothing be dropping dough from Brad the influencer. I feel like Brad's asking this question like five times already in DMs and I've told them the same thing every time. I'm like, I'm wearing it right now, man. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:23 So we did make NZXT. clothing. For the pop-up, right? For the pop-up, very limited edition, very expensive. But, um, you know,
Starting point is 00:08:35 making clothing is not something that NZXT has ever, you know, really, like we never thought, oh, we're going to be a clothing brand or anything. Like, the only reason we did it for the pop-up is because a lot of people,
Starting point is 00:08:46 like Brad, the influencer, ask us all the time. Like, hey, you guys should sell shirts or sell hats and whatever. And part of the reason why those are club rewards is because we you know we rather give that stuff away to people for free who who deserve it who earn it and the way you deserve it and by the way you earn it is by just being a productive
Starting point is 00:09:09 member of this community and you know being nice having fun helping others and you know those are people that you know we have no problem sending them a hoodie or a t-shirt or whatever yeah but when it comes to making clothes like we definitely don't want to to make like cheap clothing and I'm not saying the club rewards are cheap but there's a big difference between you know the hoodies that we give out on the club versus the hoodies we sold at the pop-up I mean the hoodies we sold at the pop-up were 175 dollars yeah they're super expensive super expensive they're super expensive to make you know yeah because it's like the materials the design all that stuff it's like it's not cheap and when you make limited quantities you have to charge a lot of money
Starting point is 00:09:54 because it's, you know, it's that much more to make. So I don't know if we'll ever, you know, necessarily make like an NXC clothing line. But, you know, I know. You never know what the future holds. That's true. Maybe maybe sometime in the year of our Lord Gabon, 2020, you know, we'll be playing Half-Life Alex with our VR headsets
Starting point is 00:10:17 wearing N-60 hoodies and N60 undies or something. I do think it's kind of cool, though, that people want it. People have been asking. Yeah. to make this stuff forever, like ever since I can remember. And I always wonder, do people, do people ask other companies the same thing? Like, I don't know. I mean, there's tons of, you know.
Starting point is 00:10:33 I really wanted the Giorno shirt, you know. I don't know. Like, I don't know. Yeah. It's cool to me. I do like that people want to wear NZXT, but, you know, I would rather just give away free, free clothing for people that are doing cool stuff in the community as opposed to selling it.
Starting point is 00:10:52 I'm going to sell you guys a hundred dollar hoodie. because, you know, I want you guys to wear NZXC. I rather just give it away, to be honest. Same here, to be honest, yeah. I mean, but I will say the joggers that we had at the pop-up and the hoodie are both really comfy, and I'm kind of, actually kind of bummed that didn't grab a pullover, but. My wife stole my pullover yesterday. Oh, really?
Starting point is 00:11:13 Yeah. Dang. Reping the brand? Yeah. Special ones to know, is there a level 30 reward even coming? Yeah. Whenever the server goes 30 days without a warning, mute, or ban, the level 30 reward will be revealed. We've done told you.
Starting point is 00:11:28 If you can't make it happen, you don't deserve it. And pretty much, right? Yeah. What more do you guys want? Yeah, I mean, there's stickers, there's lanyards, there's t-shirts, there's hoodies, there's poochies, there's... There's special drops now, special sticker drops. Yeah. There's also like just random like giveaways now.
Starting point is 00:11:51 We're giving a random stuff. Yeah. And I do want a level 30 reward, but I also want a server that can go 30 days without a warning meter ban because, you know, it's not cheap like to add a reward. It might seem like, oh, it's easy. Just add underwear to level 30 problem solved. I buy that. But it's not that easy because you got to figure, you know, there's a lot of math involved. Okay.
Starting point is 00:12:16 You know, how much is it cost to make? How many do you have to? make, how many people are going to be in this role, et cetera, et cetera. And then how are we going to package it, how we're going to ship it, how are we going to store it, all that stuff. And it took me basically a year to
Starting point is 00:12:30 figure out what we have now, and I don't want to spend any more time figuring anything else out like that unless the server helps me out. And you guys can help me out by just going 30 days without a warning meter ban. And we'll do whatever the heck you guys vote for.
Starting point is 00:12:45 Speaking of things that we hate doing, Right. Just thinking about things that add to the server. It's hard, you know? Like, we want to make the server a better place to do more cool things, but if you guys can't behave. Yeah, it's super hard, man. Yeah, that's not easy. It's just like, the server is like a lot like life because it is, man, because.
Starting point is 00:13:07 You ever know what you're going to get? Think about it. It's like, all right. Like, in life, at least in my experience, I've noticed, the nicer you are to people, the nicer people are to you. Right. And I'm not saying I've always been nice to people. I've been mean to people.
Starting point is 00:13:24 Just the other, just last week, I got in a fight with an old lady. Seriously. So I went for a walk on my lunch break. And I think you were gone that day. So I walked over across the street where the Starbucks is at.
Starting point is 00:13:38 I'm never gone. I'm always here. And I had to go to the bathroom. And I went into the bathroom at the Superior Grocery Star. And I was waiting in line because someone was in the bathroom. And I was the only person waiting in line. The person comes out. I go in the bathroom.
Starting point is 00:13:57 As soon as I close the door, someone starts banging on the door. And I'm like, one minute, please. I just got in. And then as soon as I said that. And I was like, I just got in here. Please give me one minute. I'm almost done. And I took about a minute.
Starting point is 00:14:15 I come out. And then there's old. old lady, man. She must have been like 80 something. She's screaming at me. I'm not going to have to go to the bathroom. And I screamed back. I just like, I don't know. It must be my instinct. I screamed back there. Like, well, so do I. And I just walked away. But then I was walking away. And I just felt really bad. Like, why did I yell at an old lady? Just because she yelled at me. It's just, it didn't make me feel any better. It didn't, it didn't, you know, make her feel any better. It probably made her feel worse. Made me feel worse because I yelled at her old lady. And so yeah, like, I feel like the server is a lot like that because, you know, there's a lot of opportunities to yell at people, obviously.
Starting point is 00:14:55 But there's also a lot of opportunities to flip it, you know. Like if I would have been nice to that old lady, maybe she would have been nice to me, you know. You never know. No, I think she deserved it. She was being rude. And she was, but. Can I mean poop in peace? Come on, dude.
Starting point is 00:15:11 She was being rude, but I think I was being rude as well, you know. I don't think so. Yeah. You're just pooping, dude. Like, something rude about using the restroom. She is as an impatient old lady. But there's nothing as accomplished by me being rude back. Unless.
Starting point is 00:15:28 Yeah. She learns not to mess with Ivan's or something. But yeah, good. You know who I am? I'm poppy. But there's been other instances where people have gotten mad at me for whatever reason. And then I'll just be really, really nice to them. I'll go out of my way to be nicer to them.
Starting point is 00:15:44 I'm always mad at you. And then all of a sudden, you know, they start being. nicer to me. That's just how it works. And that's how I think the server and the internet is, is like, people don't really expect you to be nice. Everyone kind of expects you to be a bit of a troll. So when you flip it, it kind of changes things a bit. And that's just kind of how I see things. Oh, you know what the question was now? Yeah, I was the person, what was the question again? What is that to do with the server? That was a question. The question was, is there a little third reward coming.
Starting point is 00:16:16 No. Not yet. Behave and and maybe maybe we'll do it. Dark wants to know why did Penn why did Den put a restraining order on me? Because you said you wanted Pucci.
Starting point is 00:16:31 So the easiest way to get Pucci is to talk in the server and not DM me. Easy solution. On eBay. Yep. Yeah. How much does this Pucci go for in eBay? Look it up.
Starting point is 00:16:42 I don't know. I don't know. I saw one the other day A couple weeks ago Imagine selling your Pucci That's so rude Let's see If I just type in Pucci
Starting point is 00:16:50 Will come up Or NXT plush NXT plush They might have taken it down NXT custom build bundle Built for professional gaming
Starting point is 00:17:02 And streaming $1,000 Okay Someone's selling a Manta For 49 bucks A Phantom People are all these old cases The
Starting point is 00:17:10 Someone selling a $210 for 50 bucks The craziest thing I've seen on eBay from NX, or people selling NZXT stuff. Someone once sold a pink NZXT Phantom for like $800. And then I think if you search NZXT HyperBees,
Starting point is 00:17:25 you can still find a couple on there for like $500. Yeah, people really want the Hyperbeast case. Imagine. Yeah, 300 is the lowest one, I think. This is the S340 elite one. The H-440 is 450. N-60 Hyperbeast 2.5 inch SSD slash HDD set a hard drive cover plate for $11. Which is probably of various colors.
Starting point is 00:17:52 It's probably someone who just made them. There's a lot of people that just make stuff and sell it with our name. We've got to call lawyers about it. Pretty much, yeah. Yeah. Every time someone sends me to something like that or I see something, I forward it to our legal team because it is against the law. And I am a law of biting poppy.
Starting point is 00:18:10 If you type in NXT on a red bubble, some stuff pops up there. Yeah, we basically It's funny too Because they never use the right logo Like for some reason These people who make these like fake shirts They always use like the old logo With a dot on it
Starting point is 00:18:24 And like you guys Louis Futan That's good I like that It's in the channel chat It's cool to it What's a question again? Oh yeah
Starting point is 00:18:34 Shout more in the server And you'll get Pucci The more you DM me The less you're talking in the server Which means the less friends you're making And the less prizes you're getting Reward you're getting So
Starting point is 00:18:44 the modern solution for this modern problem is talking the server. If Long Loss, son, chatted in the server as much as he'd be like level 100 right now. Easy, dude. He'd just de-end me right now. He's like, should listen to the podcast? I don't know. Do what you want, dude. Imagine.
Starting point is 00:19:03 I have to ask. I have no idea what you're doing right now, Long Loss, son. Yeah. But yeah, you should always listen to the podcast. It's a question for me. Why do you ask questions you don't want the answer to? Wait, who said that? I did.
Starting point is 00:19:16 To who? To everybody. Why do you ask questions you don't want the answer? Yeah. If people ask me questions and then they give them an answer, they don't like the answer. People don't like the truth, man. And I think that's the thing about NZXT and the whole reason I hired Dennis over everyone else because... No, for real, man.
Starting point is 00:19:35 Like, when we had our interview, it's like, I told you the truth about how I see things. And then you told me the truth how you see things. then it wasn't about a green, it was just about being truthful, right? So like if someone, if someone asked me, hey, can you give me a free PC? And I say no, and they say why. And I said, because I don't want to spend $2,500 out of my own money to buy you on. That's the truth.
Starting point is 00:19:59 And then they think like, oh, NZC is so savage for saying that. It's like, no, we're not savage. We're not rude. That's literally the truth. It's like, why we don't want to give you a free computer that's for nothing at all. Like, that's the truth. And, you know, I'm sorry. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:20:17 Sorry. So you don't like the answer or, you know, people ask about the little 30 reward. And I tell them why I don't want to do it until, you know, they turn things around and help out. And then they don't like the answer. And then apparently is wrong, right, if they don't like the answer. So, yeah. This should be clowner role for asking for a free PC. It's actually not a bad idea.
Starting point is 00:20:37 I'll worry when people stop asking for free PCs. That's true. What don't we, okay, so why don't we make a role that it's like, okay, it's like the newbie role or like the friend role, right? But it's a clown role. If you ask for a free PC, you get it. You keep it for a month and you can't earn XP for a month. Imagine that. I like that.
Starting point is 00:20:59 And we'll give it to everyone. Just try it out, see if it works first. So for one month, no one gets XP. We try out this new system. And then, yeah, all the clowns will converge in the search. server. Magnumosity. Why was 5107A chosen as the main color for NZXT or the colors for branding in general? Wow, great question. So it's actually a really good question. We spent about one year and this was like three years ago now. We worked with with an agency, like a branding agency
Starting point is 00:21:34 to help us kind of define our core values, what our colors should be, what our colors should be, but our logo should look like, like basically everything about the company. And we spent a whole year on it, and there was a lot of, like, team building exercises and things like that. And when it came down to choosing the colors, we looked at, like, every gaming company that was out there,
Starting point is 00:21:58 and we noticed one thing, and we noticed pretty much everyone is... Obnoxious. Well, no, everyone's, like, black and something, including NZXT, but we were black and white. Yeah. And then, you know, there's black and green, black and red, black and yellow. Black and yellow.
Starting point is 00:22:16 Whatever, there's like black and something. So then we thought, all right, what would be the opposite of something that's black, besides white. And we were thinking, you know, purple is cool because purple, you think about it. if you take the color blue which is associated with boys and you take the color pink which is associated with girls traditionally combine it traditionally correct traditionally and you combine it you get purple so purple is kind of like a color that symbolizes you know like just people come together like everyone kind of united um it's also So personally, I just think it looks cool.
Starting point is 00:23:07 I don't know. Like, it's just a cool color. I think purple's an awesome color. It's very distinct. Color of royalty. Not very many things are color purple, right? And I feel like it's a very unique and interesting color. But specifically, the 5107A.
Starting point is 00:23:22 So there is it. So Johnny was very, very particular and picky when it came time to choosing the shade of purple. There must have been, I don't know, 50 shades of purple. And everything, every purple, everything we make that's purple, it has to be that shade, even poochy. So when we first made the first batch of poochy samples, they weren't that, they didn't really match our color that well. Sometimes it's very hard to match it exactly, but we get to it as close as possible. And then, you know, after we decided on purple, we wanted to have colors to complement it. So we have NZXT.
Starting point is 00:24:02 the orchid, which is like a pink type of color. And then we have two shades of gray. And we still have black and white, but purple's our primary color. I love it. I have a purple notebook. And that's pretty good. It actually does.
Starting point is 00:24:20 I think every other day somebody asked you about it. Like, oh, hey, would you get that notebook? Yeah, purple stands out a lot. I was a surprise. I didn't think so many people would notice it. But every time I wear like my purple hoodie or something it's like someone has to say something about it yeah um like if you want to check out the colors for our branding it's nz xxc.com slash branding and it'll give you all the
Starting point is 00:24:45 all the standards of how we use our logo and stuff uh the only time we don't that we're okay with people messing with the branding or what what looks like is with with with the art right with the with the fan art um if you guys don't know so actually it's a fun of a fact for those who don't know if you listen on, if you listen on, I think, Google podcast and if you listen on iTunes, you don't get this. But on Spotify and on SoundCloud, we have custom art for every single episode made from the community, which is why we always shout someone out. It's actually really cool. And if you listen on Spotify or on SoundCloud, you're, like, you know, if you're, if you're listening in, like, you have like the full screen, whatever, you know, of the, of the, the audio
Starting point is 00:25:28 playing. It just is really cool because it's like always a different design, but it always has N16 in the middle. I think except for one, that was Nibbler's episode because that was a special episode. But yeah, I mean, if you guys want, you know, your artwork on the podcast, on those platforms, definitely submit, you know, make your art, ask money because he's made like a million of them. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:50 He's definitely the most prolific artist, I think we have in the server. He's made so many. Besides Nibler, of course. Yeah. Yeah. He's made like tons of wallpaper. Right. But like just like, I would say number of things that he's made he's done the most, right?
Starting point is 00:26:04 Speaking of wallpapers. Uh-oh. You guys go in the wallpaper channel right now. Yeah, we made some some poochy wallpapers for your desktop and phone. The phone looks really good. I'm actually really happy with how the phone one came out. It looks great on my phone. Yeah, it looks really great.
Starting point is 00:26:22 It looks great on my phone because it was designed for my phone dimensions. Cheater. But yeah, we want to do a calendar every month with Pucci. This was the first month we did it. So if you guys don't have your Pucci calendars yet, please go into wallpapers. And if you have any questions about it, any concerns or any suggestions, please let us know because we do want to do more of these and we want to make them better. So if there's something about them that you don't like or you think it could be better about them, let us know. just remember that we do have to kind of make sure that they fit both on the phone and on the computer screen so nothing to be crazy.
Starting point is 00:27:01 Please and thank you. Actually, let me set mine right now. I like stretches it out. And I mentioned this to you, I think, yesterday or the day before. I think we should have Ambrose, our artists who works on all this stuff for all the put your artwork we're working on. I think we should have him on the podcast. Yeah, we should. He does a great job.
Starting point is 00:27:19 Yeah, we literally have one person who does all the art. So he's like, well, not does that they are, but. Well, actually, yes and no. He does all the drawings. Yes. And then the creative team, they go in and they do the coloring and stuff like that. But I would say there's a lot of people working on the art because we have the whole creative team plus us, plus Ambrose kind of brainstorming all this stuff of what we should do.
Starting point is 00:27:40 It's not just like. Do you want to talk about like the process that goes in? I mean, you know, we got some time and never the question about it. Since it is Thursday and that's our creative community meeting. A. So every Thursday or every other Thursday. Dennis and I have a creative community meeting with our creative team. And we basically show up with a list of things that we want to do for the next month, the next two months, the next three months, even the next year.
Starting point is 00:28:07 And then we kind of prioritize what we want to work on. And then we start brainstorming. So, for example, for Christmas, we had a list of like 10 different things. So we ended up doing Poochie's Nodian Nis list, but some other ideas we were thinking of was like a print your own Pucci ornament. Right. Or a paper craft, right.
Starting point is 00:28:29 Paper craft where you can print like ugly Christmas sweaters for Pucci. Right. Just like all, like you know, a bunch of ideas really, really good ideas. But then we kind of have to think, all right, what's the most feasible? We have, you know, one month to do this?
Starting point is 00:28:45 Do we think this is going to get the most participation from the community? Do you think the community's gonna like this? the most, things like that. And then we just decide on something. And then we work with Ambrose, who's our artist, and we give him like our vision. And then he kind of just runs with it really for like about a week or two. And then he comes back to us and he goes, here's what I got.
Starting point is 00:29:05 And then we give him notes. And then he works on some more. Works on some more. And then gives it back. And then the creative team puts the finishing touches on it and then does whatever it is. We've got to do with it, whether it's a Noddya nice list or a calendar. or whatever's coming up next. And we do have a lot of stuff coming up next.
Starting point is 00:29:24 Today's our creative community meetings and I'm excited. Yeah, it's going to be good. We're going to... 2020, baby. Hopefully have some cool stuff for you guys. Year of the pooch. Year of the pooch. Okay, next question is, when will you guys get a camera for the podcast?
Starting point is 00:29:40 So to stream it. I thought I heard you guys talk about it about getting it before. Yeah, man. There's a camera pointing at Dennis right now. Why are we not streaming? Why are we not streaming? I don't know. Do you want to answer this one?
Starting point is 00:29:52 Yeah, because that will require us to kind of change the way we do the podcast. So, for example, if we're going to stream it, we might as well do something like Twitch or something, right? And we also kind of want to keep it. So for me right now, I like what we're doing and I think it's working. And we'll slowly start adding more things and kind of making it, I guess, like, quote unquote, better. Well, what happened if we went live right now? Where, like, on the podcast. On the podcast.
Starting point is 00:30:16 I don't know if you can, can we? I don't know. I think I'm allowed to. Well, we can change it so you are. I think you can do a mic, a camera. You can only do a screen share or something. I want to say change to, I don't know. Let me see.
Starting point is 00:30:29 I'll look at it right now. I gave myself those special permissions. Wait a minute. Hmm. Did you make it of the channel for the... You probably did. I did. Okay, that's why.
Starting point is 00:30:40 It's also why we can't go live because it's keep missing with stuff. Yeah, I know. What if I disconnected and reconnected from the channel? Bye. okay I'm back in we're back no just doesn't let me do it um but am I broken we'll figure it out sometimes and we do want to add video to be honest
Starting point is 00:30:58 but before we did that we did want to kind of clean up the podcasting room which I think honestly it looks pretty good now we're probably ready to do it it's just matter setting it up yeah I'm gonna set it up okay but yeah like um like if we did do like a live video podcast then basically
Starting point is 00:31:16 we would have to we'd have to basically go on Twitch and be off the server because there's a lot of weird things that Discord doesn't let you do and does let you do. I do think we need like, I don't know, we've got to figure out how we want to set up the cameras. Yeah, like the way the room's set up right now, and I think you ever has seen it,
Starting point is 00:31:33 we've posted photos before. It's not really conducive to a good podcast. You know, like there isn't like a round table. Like there's two big screens in front of me. I mean, he's just staring at his phone, right? But we could definitely do like a top-down view. But I think for me, if I wanted to have like a legit video podcast, I'd want it to be a video show, right? It wouldn't be a podcast anymore.
Starting point is 00:31:57 It'd be a show where we ripped the audio and we put it on to like, you know, to SoundCloud or whatever, as opposed to like a fully produced show, which to me would be, we have like a couch, right? So we can all look at the camera at the same time. Yeah. We'd have people working behind the scenes doing camera switching and also working on audio, right? It'd be a much bigger thing. Which is like what my ultimate vision would be, right? Like, end goal would be to have like a full team where all they do is produce content like that, right? For the community.
Starting point is 00:32:27 Yeah. And like the podcast that have video, like my favorite podcast is, you know, the Joe Rogan experience. And he stopped doing the live streams. But I never watched the live streams because they were just boring. It's the same thing as the audio podcast. Yeah. And it's just. You're staring at it.
Starting point is 00:32:42 You're staring at people talking. and nothing's happening. Nothing's happening. There's no real reason to watch it. I do think some people might want to watch it, but I don't know. I'll let Dennis figure that out. He's the production guy.
Starting point is 00:32:58 Yeah, so from my background in production, just putting a podcast and putting it on Twitch is the dumbest thing you can do. Because you're wasting time, right? You're wasting resources. There's no reason to do it. If you're going to do something on Twitch, right, or on video, you want to produce a show, right?
Starting point is 00:33:15 Which means like segments and different things like that. If it was just people talking, to me, it's whatever, you know? It's just, you can just stare at it. And you're literally getting the same experience and the difference and now you see our faces and me drinking coffee every five minutes or turning away to cough or something. So you're raping? Yeah, or vaping.
Starting point is 00:33:32 So, like, if we were to do a video podcast, to me, the best way to do it would be have like a full produce show with like segments and guests and a whole set. We should just have an Andy cam. Yeah. 24-7 Andy live stream. It's just, it's just him sitting weird.
Starting point is 00:33:51 Actually, it won't even be him. It'll just be a camera pointing at like his chair. So you see what weird ways he sits. But yeah. Yeah, hope that's answer your question. I mean,
Starting point is 00:34:03 we probably just should. We want to. Just try it once and see how it goes. I do agree with you. We should. If we're going to. to do a video thing we should set up like we should get it for video like video but if the server really wants to watch i mean we have a webcam in here i don't know we could set it up maybe like i don't
Starting point is 00:34:23 know like kind of hide kind of show let's say you put up like in this corner here so it's going down but then you can't get this i should just take pictures i can just show them just uh they'll be looking at just take a bunch of photos and then you can make it to a to a gif hey guys use your video It's your slideshow. Okay, anyway. Next question is, are there any plans for a more airflow-oriented case? I would say all our cases have enough airflow
Starting point is 00:35:01 if you're playing video games. If you need more airflow, then you're probably doing something besides playing video games. games. Even with that, it still works. Yeah, and you don't need air if you have a cracking. True.
Starting point is 00:35:15 It's good to crackings. We're always trying to make our cases, like, we're not going to make cases that are, that are worse. Every case we have now has better airflow than every case we made before. So, you know, people just always, like, I think even if we made an all-mesh case,
Starting point is 00:35:33 people will still complain about the airflow because that's just what people do. Mesh on every, side, right? The left side, the right side, the front panel, the back panel will be mesh to somehow. We just cut a hole in the mesh for the, for the, for the air flow is fine. Yeah. Let's see here. Next question is that the scroll will be done every single time. Are you guys planning on making any more, any more NXT software besides Cam? I would say no, but the plan is to keep improving Cam and keep
Starting point is 00:36:07 making cam better, adding, you know, not just adding features, but even taking features out, just making the software we have better, whether that means adding or removing stuff. I don't think, at least right now, I don't think there's any, like, you know, I don't think the software team is thinking, what other apps should we make? Like, literally, like, how do we fix the current one and how do we make the current one better? Right. And once we do that, then I guess we'll make Discord 2. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:37 Discord Purple Edition. Discord 2. Dark Destiny wants to know Any more Hyper Beast case is coming? Not currently. Actually, I mean, maybe we do. I don't know. I mean, that could be the case.
Starting point is 00:36:53 We're literally talking to the Hyperbeats guy, and we're working on one right now, but as far as I know, no. I mean, there's a popular case. Yeah. I like that. I would like anyone. It'd be cool. I would think it's cool, too.
Starting point is 00:37:05 I don't know if I might it, but I think it's cool. Yeah, our licensing team is always working on, you know, different things. Like we just came out with the Warcraft cases. I don't know if we'll ever do Hyperbeast again, but I do know it was very popular when we did. So yeah, so a lot of... If enough people keep bugging us, I'm sure we'll do it. It's a lot of elites.
Starting point is 00:37:27 I asked, are webes cringe? We're talking about this other day. I forget why, though. I think it should do a video of some weeb doing something and you're like, this is why people don't like webs. Yeah, you send me something, I think I said. It was the Champions Channel. I forget exactly. Yeah, so apparently there's been some like war in the Champions Channel between the Weaves and the Mondeweb's.
Starting point is 00:37:50 Or they're like trying to take over the channel. I don't know. It's really, it's really dumb, but it's kind of fun at the same time, you know? Like it doesn't hurt nobody. I don't consider it spammer with my dad. Just people being silly. But it's like, man, these Webes won't stop posting stuff. Like stay in your hole.
Starting point is 00:38:06 we gave you the anime channel we put it near the top is how you repay us the reason I love weaves is the reason I hate them is because they're cringy and they're so cringy they don't even know it
Starting point is 00:38:18 or they don't care or they don't care and so both it's like they I feel like webs set themselves up to get made fun of
Starting point is 00:38:28 not as they made fun of but just kind of like just to be a joke it'd be a punchline like it's very easy to make fun of a weep in my opinion. It really is. I sit next to ones that I should know.
Starting point is 00:38:40 I have nothing. Personally, I have nothing against weaves. If I did, I wouldn't work here, believe me. Because there's too much anime in this office for people that don't, you know, like weeps. But I just like messing with webs. Yeah. I don't hate the webs. But they are cringy.
Starting point is 00:38:59 They are credible cringy. But that's why we love them, right? Because they do their own thing, right? And they don't care. Yeah. Figure might as well, you know, add some audio to this. Imagine being in the build warehouse. This starts playing.
Starting point is 00:39:21 Oh, man, I got to build faster. Anyway, yeah, leaves are cringe, but that's why we love them. I don't know if cringe is the right word. I think they're cringy. You put a bunch of wifu stickers on your car. Come on, it's kind of cringy. I see that, and I'm like, I know what kind of person this is. Yeah, I guess cring is the right word.
Starting point is 00:39:38 You're right. Cringy weaves. I mean, but they're cool, though, you know? Like, they're like some of the funnest people to hang out with because here's the thing. When you're, when you're that much of a cringe you weave, like, you don't care what anybody thinks, right? But man, they, cringy weaves care more than anyone. Like, just last week, remember we were wrapping up the year and we were looking at social, like, social media stats, and like, okay, which, what was our best week on Facebook?
Starting point is 00:40:02 And then we looked it up and I'm like, what the heck happened? It's like, this is one week. We shot up. Like, we had more impressions and engagements than, like, any other. week ever in the history of Facebook so we looked it up and it was that one time where we told uh we we posted real real gamers don't watch anime and people are so mad the webs revolted they started submitting customer service tickets emailing johnny saying they're never going to buy an nz60 product again it was great and it was like what the heck like it's just a dumb joke
Starting point is 00:40:34 cringy weaves. So the next day we posted Real gamers do watch anime and then they were very confused. Yeah. But that's a joke, right? Yeah. That's a joke is that if you don't get it,
Starting point is 00:40:47 you don't get it. Next, Ryanapoulos, I think that's how you pronounce that, just got my PC. What can I expect? Frames. Did you get a PC from NdXT?
Starting point is 00:41:03 That's true. If you did, then... If you did, then you can expect a stellar gaming experience. And sufficient cooling for all your gaming needs, unless you put the creator PC. In which case, it's great for all your production, creativity needs. Yeah, I mean, if you got a computer, honestly, what you can expect is just to have fun, man. Like, I feel like anytime you get anything new... Enjoy cam.
Starting point is 00:41:30 Enjoy it, yeah. Use it, man, and have fun. Magnumosity wants to know Why did Den kiss me without my permission in Anime channel? Because that's where cringy weaves go. That's where cringy Weaves get kisses.
Starting point is 00:41:44 Gapy, did it? You did catch it. Congratulations. Also, you might want to change that profile pic, dude. It's a cat sucking on a jewel. Some of the things, some like the meme photos that I see are just so, I don't I don't get it, dude. I hate seeing that stupid hat on the dog.
Starting point is 00:42:07 Oh, dude, I know. It's so dumb. I don't get why it's a thing. So dumb. Yeah. I don't find it funny. And I'm glad we didn't. Because I remember when I saw it and like, everybody was doing it.
Starting point is 00:42:19 And I was like, Ivan, I don't want to do this. He's like, no, I don't want to do this either. So we didn't because we're not like that. Toddy, how much Play-Doh do I have to give you for a Crackin X-72? $199 worth. Easy peasy. Trouble wants to know, you hate doing podcasts?
Starting point is 00:42:36 Question mark? Not that I hate doing podcasts. Doing work. It's not even hate doing work. It's just, um, it's just, it's hard.
Starting point is 00:42:46 It's hard to do a podcast. It's not easy. And that's why like, I force myself to do hard things because if I just did the easy things that I want to do, I would get nothing accomplished in life. So yeah, like today I really did not want to get out of bed. Dude, I was so tired.
Starting point is 00:43:04 I even sent Dennis a picture of me in bed wearing my cobiha. Yeah. So cobiha, the tigre. It's just, you know, the harder it is and the less you want to do it, I feel like it's the, that's the thing you should be doing, honestly. Just get out of the way and do it and move on with your life. Well, never to not that, but like you should always challenge yourself, right? Like, just general life stuff, like just do stuff that's not easy.
Starting point is 00:43:30 so that you can get through life, right? Because life isn't easy, right? And you're going to account a lot of things in life that just aren't fun to do and aren't easy. And if you don't do them, you'll never go anywhere, right? So just got to get in there and clap those hard tasks. The easy way is the hard way. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:43:55 Next question is Mech. Dan, do you want me to post a link to your retweet of Amanda's. I think I were to answer that. Do what you want, buddy. Gapi, why are you both boomers? Because I'm old. I'm older, oldish. Taddy, have you guys watched Mandalorian yet? And if so, was it good? I saw it. I enjoyed it quite a bit. I don't think it's a great show. I don't think it's like amazing, but it's good. You know? I have not seen it, but I am aware of Baby Yoda. I mean, who isn't, right? I think the Mandalorian is like what? Sorry, I thought for a second the podcast was a movie because it's expanded out super far.
Starting point is 00:44:36 It's given me for a second. Oh, yikes. The Mandalorian is good. I just don't think it's amazing or like some like groundbreaking show. But it's good, you know, it's like it's a good, fun show to watch. I think that it's what Star Wars needs right now. It's just something simple that's not like trying to be some crazy story. Just, you know, a cool side thing to watch.
Starting point is 00:44:55 I think it's dope. next is from savage andle andlea mommy yeah yeah oh what's happening now nothing all those words for the band list please yeah thank you uh whether it be n60 pajamas or socks maybe i don't know i never like it's hard to answer the questions like that will we ever do this we ever do that because the answer is always the same it's like i don't know maybe i don't know i never like it's hard to answer the questions like that will we ever do this we ever do that because the answer is always the same. It's like, I don't know, maybe, anything is possible. That'd be cool?
Starting point is 00:45:30 Yeah, maybe. Yeah, you never know. I did look into making socks once. Were they expensive? Yeah, socks are actually pretty expensive to be honest. Really? Yeah. I was surprised how expensive they were.
Starting point is 00:45:42 Gapy, so you can get your level reset. You can get your level reset. If you break the rules enough times per the rules channel, you will get your XP reset. So if you're going to do it, do it while you're a young, new in the server so you don't get your all your XP reset do what I do and just log in with your alt easy peasy no one will never know if you don't tell them yeah it's funny because people will log in with an alt and then you can tell right away who it is it's like dude you're not you're not being smart uh so he wants to know can you bring back the exclusive role grandmaster
Starting point is 00:46:14 do you have a grand oh he did have a grandmaster how long ago was that um like when we first launched before the club actually it was just when we had um we had roles but no rewards and I decided to be cool if we had like grandmasters
Starting point is 00:46:33 which was like the chess right the top of the of the chess board yeah I think we eventually yeah I think we will have more more roles or whatever but right now I mean
Starting point is 00:46:46 it's not really a priority to to add more stuff like that on there people ask for like crazy is rolls all the time it's like can you make a role for parody accounts no wonder who asked that definitely wasn't me Alan wants to know Ralph's or fries Ralphs or fries ralphs or fries sounds even the same thing like Ralph's the grocery store and fries electronics yeah
Starting point is 00:47:14 well fries electronics does sell food so I'll choose fries you know the cafes at fries have really good club sandwiches yeah I haven't eaten in there before me pretty good Yeah, I used to, when I was working as a HP rep, I would go to fries and just, you know, hang out because they all worked on commission there. So they don't care what they don't care what they're selling as long as they're making them money, right? So like whatever item had the higher commission that would just be pushing all day. So I'd literally just hang around and just like stand around and do nothing because they just didn't care about me. We don't chat, but they would never take my advice. So I would like, I would go in, I would walk around the store, see what's cool.
Starting point is 00:47:49 I'll go to the cafe, get oneself a club sandwich and some salt vinegar kettle chips. and those sandwiches. I'm not going to lie, they're kind of smacked. They're pretty good. Yeah, they're really, really good. Just, if you guys want more of these kind of stories, follow me on my Twitch. Sandwich stories.
Starting point is 00:48:08 Dark Destiny, but then is my friend, right? Next. Coran's Kings, wait, I can speak in his channel, or anybody can. Trouble, can warnings expire if you behave for three months. What do I think, Kevin? It's not possible That's it
Starting point is 00:48:30 Yeah I don't know Can they I don't think it's actually Possible with the bots We have right now To just You know erase
Starting point is 00:48:46 Or is it? I don't even know I don't think it is Right To like race That's what I thought right there That's what I thought Yeah, I don't think we can. And even then, why would you need to get your warning deleted if you just don't break the rules?
Starting point is 00:49:06 Yeah, exactly. That's the real question. Can you now break the rules? And if you can't, then maybe you don't need to be resets. Andy wants to know about his PSP. I have no idea what he's talking about. PlayStation portable? Yeah, but I don't know why he was referring to a PSP.
Starting point is 00:49:24 Do we mention PSP early today? Who asked this question? Frida Bandito, Andy. And move on, please. Next. Vagamosity, when will poppy stream Overwatch with Den? Ivan doesn't play Overwatch. He doesn't play shooters.
Starting point is 00:49:37 No, I do. Star Wars pinball and Rabbids. I don't care about streaming. Personally. That's true. I don't. I rather just focus on a video game, have fun, than try to chat with people while I play.
Starting point is 00:49:50 Imagine just playing video games? Tadi. What material is the NZXX? hoodie and is the logo printed on? 100% cotton and yeah. I think it's Haynes, right? Printed on. I'm not even sure, actually. I just know it's cotton and yeah, it's printed on.
Starting point is 00:50:10 Mine's at home. I think I lost it. No idea where it went. Thoughts on vaping. Ivan, you go first. I personally think it's annoying. Like, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know who started this whole vaping craze or whatever but craze. Yeah, it's like just smoke a cigarette. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:50:32 Like what's the point of? You told me to stop smoking cigarettes. You shouldn't do either, but I mean. If you're going to do one, I would say you should vape. I think they're both, they're both equally dumb in my book. It's like they're both just unnecessary things. For sure. And like,
Starting point is 00:50:49 I don't know. I don't see anything like any reason why people. But it tastes like bubble gumba. Yeah. What if I want what if I want the taste of a blueberry muffin but I actually don't want to eat it then I don't know I think it's I think it's fine don't do it it's not good for you nothing's good for you every time every time you walk through a vape cloud a millennial is born any updates on the headphone release you mean headset I mean they're yes I mean you can use them as headphones just take off the mic but their headsets
Starting point is 00:51:25 Yes, sir. Soon, TM. Yeah. Super soon. I do know. I don't know the official date yet, but I do. We're not going to give one either because. I do know it's coming up soon.
Starting point is 00:51:37 We'll be able to take pre-order soon or order soon. So get your, get your, uh, get your wallets ready. Get your Google wallets ready. Can you use Google wallet on our website? I know you can use PayPal. I think so. PayPal works on Shopify. Going back to Fabian real quick.
Starting point is 00:51:54 Okay. If you want. I think that what bugs me about vaping You get it even. Is that people think that because they're vaping, they can just vape anywhere they're at. It's true.
Starting point is 00:52:06 Like in this podcast studio, in a meeting, at the mall, and in a restaurant, you know, and like people don't consider there's other people around them, I think, as much as like smokers.
Starting point is 00:52:21 Because smokers, for example, when I'm walking on the sidewalk with my daughter. When you're Uber. There's someone smoking on the sidewalk. I have seen them kind of go off to the side. Go off to the side or like even put their cigarette out because, oh, a child's coming. Right.
Starting point is 00:52:35 But then I've seen people who see me and my daughter, you know, and they'll just blow like a giant puff of vape and that we had to walk through it. And I'm like, okay, just because it's vapor. Doesn't mean it's not annoying. Like I don't want to smell that. I don't want to smell either. I don't care about your stupid blueberry muffin. Like, dude, you want to do it, do it, but I feel like people that vape tend to kind of disregard the people around them more than the people who smoke. So you're saying vaping the office more?
Starting point is 00:53:04 No, I don't like, vape, but vape in the convenience of your own home or whatever. Like, same thing with smoking. Like, I don't want to smell your smoke. I don't want to smell your vape. Right. Just if you're going to do it, I don't care. Just don't do it around me because I don't want to smell it. This has been the Vape Corner with Ivan and Dennis.
Starting point is 00:53:21 Yeah. Plastic flavor vapey yikes. What was the question you had there? Are those monitors good? The MSI ones? Yeah, they're really good. We use them all over the office. I have one.
Starting point is 00:53:31 I have two of them for my desk at the office. They're very nice. You can buy them. If you buy an NXTPC, you can just add one on as like an extra. So we've had people who like, we'll buy a whole setup, right? They'll buy the, the computer machine. They'll buy the monitors. They'll buy like a streaming bundle with like a Elgado, everything, key light and stuff.
Starting point is 00:53:52 And mouse and keyboards. So literally the whole thing just comes to the house and have everything. Exactly. Yeah, use code down on MSI.com for 5% extra. They're curved, right? Yeah, the curved. But it's like, so they're curved monitors. And I have one at home, not the same one, but I have a curve monitor too.
Starting point is 00:54:10 You can barely tell it's curved. Like if you're staring at it, it looks fine. It's like when you look at it from the side, you're like, oh, man, that's a pretty, it's pretty gnarly curve, bro, but it's really not that bad. It's, you can't even tell. I don't really like curve. monitors. And they're whatever.
Starting point is 00:54:27 Because I use a vertical monitor, so. I mean, it's fine. You can't really tell. Well, you can't even set these as vertical. So right away, it's a deal breaker for me. I mean, just take it off on. I'm not going to have a curve. You can mount them, right?
Starting point is 00:54:39 Vertical monitor. No one's going to know. I will know. Well, don't worry about it then. Ryan wants to know. Is NXT going to look at making more tempered glass front panel cases? Maybe. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:51 The answer is everything. When it comes to that, I mean, maybe. I don't know. Who knows? We should. I mean, why not? If everyone likes the elite, why not make everything an elite? I mean, people seem to really like the elite, right?
Starting point is 00:55:04 And like, we see it pop up on the suburbide all the time. People asking about the elite. And, like, if you have a 510 or if you know about the 500 or the 510, then you want to know about the attempts, just look at those. And it's literally the exact same thing. Like, it's really not. But then if we were to do that, then, you know, people will complain about the price, I'm sure.
Starting point is 00:55:24 Yeah. Why is the H710 elite this much more? The reason is because, yeah, tempered glass is not cheap, you know, and there's that. But also like the cost to like retool everything to like make this brand new computer essentially, right? Or brand new case. And then, you know, if we're going to put that, then we're going to stack in, you know, the RGB fans on it. Like people don't realize how expensive it is to put together like a 510 elite because it's not just the glass. It's also, you know, it's also like we have a different.
Starting point is 00:55:54 from fitting for the glass, right? Because you can't take off the front of the 500, right? So it's a basically new case, plus the two RGB fans in the front. I mean, those aren't free, you know, they come from somewhere. So we got a charger for them. And the fans in the back and the top. Computers are free, man. Computers are free.
Starting point is 00:56:10 2020 PCs are free. That's what 2020 means. Ryan, will Cam ever be open source for user mods or lighting source integrations? You should probably refer back to the episode where we have the cam team on there because they answer that specific question. our answer is that'd be cool but probably not maybe yeah there's a lot of work to be done before we just opened up cam just let people do whatever but yeah i mean and especially with like other companies like there's licensing issues and stuff like that that goes along with it you know yeah
Starting point is 00:56:39 i'm i think if if cam was in a place where you know we were content with okay with how everything was and no one's having issues with it no one's having issues and everything's fine and yeah why not just open it up and let people go ham with it but there's still a lot of work to be done and not just that but i mean like you know we're working on products that are coming out that use cam like the headphones right or the headsets um and like we need to constantly be working on that right so it's it's a well not we but you know the the cam team so it's like a balance between fixing issues adding new features in making sure those new features don't break old stuff and you know so and so you know, I think what's the point of opening it up if he's going to add more cool stuff to it.
Starting point is 00:57:25 Eventually, you won't need to open it up because we'll just buy everything and all use cam. Yeah. Easy peasy. We know cam is not perfect, but... That's a lie. Get out of here. As someone who's used cam for like five years now, I can tell you for sure, this is the best that's ever been, like, hands down. But with that being said, it's still not perfect, you know, and it's not easy to make a software that's compatible with, like, literally.
Starting point is 00:57:48 every hardware configuration you can possibly imagine. Yeah. And then, you know, you kind of have to rely that people are not just installing the software correctly and using it correctly, but then building computers correctly and everything's connected, how it should be. Their drivers are working fine. Exactly. There's like so many things that kind of come into play.
Starting point is 00:58:08 But I do think Cam right now is the best it's ever been. And I do think it's getting better. So hopefully one day we'll be able to open it up for everyone to just do whatever. they want. Yeah, that would be cool. Alan wants to know is B the best, Best Buy employee or the worst?
Starting point is 00:58:25 She's the B. It's the B's knees. Ryan, has Johnny ever gotten mad at a social media post? That's a good question, actually. Yeah, but it wasn't mine. Hey-oh. No, actually, he's never
Starting point is 00:58:38 gotten mad at a social media post. Who asks questions? He asked questions about it, like, a lot, but only when he doesn't, like, understand the joke. he'll just ask like what does this mean like he but if it's cool is that he doesn't get mad he just he trusts us to kind of you know post what we think we should post he doesn't have to understand what we're doing all the time like perfect example is when we tweeted um you know about kissing
Starting point is 00:59:08 your discord homies like that that day i remember i went out to lunch with them and then we get in the car and then the first thing he says like so what's that whole discord homie kissing thing. And I said, oh, well, it's, you know, kind of inside joke with the server, blah, blah, blah. And he gets it. He doesn't, you know, he understands that. He doesn't have to understand everything. So he doesn't get mad. It's just, he gets curious. That's a better way of saying it. Yeah. He just wants to know why we're talking about kissing our homies and like why why people think it's funny. We just explain to him, you know, and he's cool with it. John is a cool dude. I'm trying to think if he's ever gone mad or anything.
Starting point is 00:59:42 He didn't seem like a person who gets mad. maybe like hey maybe we don't do this but i don't think like mad yeah i don't think i don't think mad because being mad is like a whole mood you know it's like a whole mentality if you're trying to be mad um andy wants to know why is to launch the best because it's uh queen bee's sister that album actually isn't bad it's a good album it came out like right during a lot of political strife in the country and a lot of divisiveness.
Starting point is 01:00:15 So I think that's why people regard that the album to be so good. But just on the straight listen, it's whatever. Talking about Solange's album that was voted like one of the best albums of the decade or something like that. Alan wants to know what's the weirdest thing you have in your garage slash storage? Weirdest thing. Hmm. I should, let me think about it.
Starting point is 01:00:38 I was just cleaning it out yesterday, actually, with my wife. We have a, like a one of those, like, one of those, like, like portable storage things in our backyard. Well, I mean, I don't think it's anything weird. I have, let's see, I have bicycles in there. We got a 10 of VHSs. My mom and dad used to own a video store, like a video rental shop. And we have like a, we have boxes of old VHSs.
Starting point is 01:00:59 I don't know what's in there actually, but there's a lot. My dad, huh? Should bring him in to the office. I think we have a VCR in here. That's the thing. Like, like, I was, I wasn't yelling at my dad, but I was giving him a lot of crap because I might do. Like, why are you keeping, like, World Cup 86,
Starting point is 01:01:17 whoever versus whoever on VHS tape? It's like, oh, I'm going to watch it these days. I'm like, no, you're not. You don't even have a VHS. I don't know where you'd go to go buy one, right? You have the special order one. You're not going to do it. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:28 And he promises, oh, this Oscar Dela Hoya fight, you know, was one of the best fights I've ever seen and to have it on tape. Okay? Like, you're not going to watch it. You also have it on YouTube, Dad. That's what I'm telling them, bro. Like, I literally want to like just one of these days is toss it. everything he'd be so mad at me but it's like bro like yeah so i guess i mean i really don't have
Starting point is 01:01:48 anything weird it's just i have tools and bicycles you got that tree you got that tree and then just like a bunch of like toys for my daughter a bunch of clothes that for my daughter doesn't fit her anymore um you didn't give us away to the the relatives the old kid clothes all my daughters clothes are handing down. So yeah, we just keep handing them down. All the kids in the family. Would you ever have another one? Yeah, I want more kids. Really? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:17 Wow. What's the max for you? Max kids. I would say four. Four? Yeah. That's a lot of kids, dude. I love kids, man. Yeah, but that's a lot. Well, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:02:27 That's a whole household. Yeah, I wouldn't mind having four kids. Ooh. That's a lot of kids. I can imagine. I think, like, if I were to have kids, two would be like the absolute limit. Like after two, I'm going to the doctor. I'm like, yell, man.
Starting point is 01:02:41 Let's make it happen so this can't happen no more. We're good. Just watch anime. Yeah. That's true. If you watch anime, you don't have kids. Rich, can you use a Cracken X-42 on the top fan location of the H-500? Or is it either front or back?
Starting point is 01:02:59 Can you repeat that? Can you use a Crackin X-42 on the top fan exhaust of the H-500? Oh, so I have seen it. Okay, so yes and no. Technically, it is not officially supported because it depends on the other hardware that's in your computer. So if you have a motherboard, depending on how the motherboard is designed, the crack in might not be able to mount on top. But with that being said, I have seen it done. And it just depends on the other hardware.
Starting point is 01:03:32 But it's not efficient. We can't officially support it because it's just like too many things to consider when it comes to saying, you know, it's going to work. officially whereas you know we can say for sure this these sizes fit on the front panel or these sizes fit on the rear panel yeah the top panel is a different story because it really depends on the Harbor configuration there you go Ivan's the master builder I am like from the Lego movie Alan which gaming franchise should stop which should come back called Diti should stop which what was the question sorry which gaming franchise should stop and what
Starting point is 01:04:10 which should come back. So my answer is... Call the DUDD stops. Call the Deney should stop. There's no reason for it to exist anymore. They've done everything they've got to deal with it. I think. That's it.
Starting point is 01:04:20 Battle Royale, baby. We need to come back is Earthworm Gym. I love the Earthroom Jim game on the Sega Genesis. That was a good game. That was a very good game. I was actually going to play... Gonna play some Earthland Jim music earlier. The new Cod is pretty good.
Starting point is 01:04:36 I disagree. Call of DUD is never going to go anywhere. I know. I would say the one game that should go away is Mario Kart because I'm tired of Vivian asking me to play I don't want to play Mario Kart with you Vivian yeah we're done I quit Mario Kart we all quit once once uh once creative quit yeah so in our fault's their fault blame blame creative we we were happy playing Mario Kart every day around what three four o'clock 12 and 3 yeah 12 and 3 and then all of a sudden they're like no I'm like okay
Starting point is 01:05:05 The game that should come back is Mario Rabbids because I'm playing that now. It's a good game. My Rabbits is a surprisingly good game. I love it. It's fun. Sorry, people aren't moving questions from here. Thanks, guys. Will you say to answer all questions for the next five hours?
Starting point is 01:05:22 No. Game of the decade. Game of the decade. I don't know what games came out this decade. I would say Mario Kart. Really? The same game I don't want to play anymore. Yikes.
Starting point is 01:05:37 Yeah, that game was Markart 8, Deluxe, Nintendo Switch. Really fun game. I just don't want to play with Vivian anymore. Let's see what we got here. We have a lot of games here. Amnesia, Siv, Black Ops, New Vegas. Man, Mass Effect 2 came out in 2010. Dang, that's a good game.
Starting point is 01:05:56 I don't want to go through this entire list. It's a lot. StarCraft 2 came out in 2010. Geez. Where did that go? I also like my game of the decade is it has to be The Witcher 3. I love The Witcher.
Starting point is 01:06:08 So good. Have you ever watching The Witcher yet? No. No? It's such a good show, dude. I'm not a big couch potato, to be honest. I mean, either, I'm not, but I still have stuff. I mean, that's a lie.
Starting point is 01:06:20 I mean, I do like. I'm sitting all day. I do like, you know, sitting in the couch watching TV, but for me to get into a show takes a lot. Like, the last show I've been kind of keeping up with is the marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Uh-huh. But for me to get into like Witcher 3 or Mandalorian, it's going to take a lot. Oh, no, yeah, for sure.
Starting point is 01:06:40 But like I already kind of, I can pretty much in my mind tell you how those shows kind of end without even watching a single episode or what's going to happen. I feel like I can. I don't know. But it's a good show. You should watch it. I will eventually, I'm sure. It's just not going to, you know, make it go out of my way to kind of like sit there and watch TV. just because everyone's talking about it.
Starting point is 01:07:06 I think you should. Hey. You should keep up so you know what's good with the memes. When will you drop AMD boards? Get out of here. Hatsili wants to know. Did you all see the NZXT Pucci account? Do you want on Instagram you mean?
Starting point is 01:07:20 Yeah, we know about it. Yeah. What about it? It's not official. How do you know? What if it's really putchy? Oh, no. He's alive?
Starting point is 01:07:29 That's a pretty one? I mean, it's a parody account, so you know, we don't care about parody accounts anymore. 2020 parody counts are dead How should NZXT Clothes be washed? I guess the stuff we give up for the rewards By your mom
Starting point is 01:07:42 Because you get to ask that question You obviously don't know how to watch clothes Then will you buy me some lunch No win some Fortnite tournaments And you can buy me lunch Todi can you make an all-white 8710 Or any case in the next series
Starting point is 01:08:01 Like white inside and on the outside Yeah, and we used to, like, it's funny because, so we did that with the H440. We had, like, the interior was all white, and then it had white fans, and then people complain. They're like, why can you make the interior black and have black fans? So then we do that, and then people say the same thing. Why can you do this white with white fans? So the answer is, yes, we can, but we kind of have to choose, like, one side or the other. Yeah, and we choose what we choose.
Starting point is 01:08:33 because it just makes the most sense. Like more people want what we're doing what most people want, you know. It's the same reason why we don't sell the H400 anymore, right? Why we just continue it because people weren't buying it, so we're just not going to do it, you know. Unfortunately, right? Well, I mean, they were buying it. It's just like not as much. The micro-ATX market is very, very small.
Starting point is 01:08:56 Yes. Much smaller than the mini-ItX market. So it just, you know, didn't really make sense to, keep making cases that you know people not that they didn't like it it's just that there just wasn't like that much demand
Starting point is 01:09:10 for that form factor I mean yeah but maybe one day again I don't know oh doom came out too Doom 2016 that's a good game it's definitely like top five of the decade I haven't said doom top five of the decade when I first
Starting point is 01:09:24 played like in 1993 or whatever yeah then it came back dude it's never going to die it's so good um that was a question question. I forgot. White cases? White cases, yeah. I mean, yeah, pretty much. We, we love to make a million cases, the million colors, but like there's, you know, like you go to other manufacturers, right, who shall not be named, who have like 50 million cases and 50 million choices. And believe it or not,
Starting point is 01:09:49 people don't like that much choice, right? There's like such a thing called a choice fatigue. I think that's the name of it where like the more choice you have, the less you want to buy something, right? So if you make something simple and make it a good, you make a choice fatigue, I think that's the name of it. So, easy for you for someone to purchase, then more likely to purchase it, right? From like, you know, like a marketing, psychology perspective. And it's also easier for us because we don't have to support like a million different skews, right?
Starting point is 01:10:12 That too. So, yeah. Help us make our job easier just by, just, just by the case we have. Or don't. Yeah, or don't. I don't. Do you buy your own setup at the office? No.
Starting point is 01:10:27 The setups we have, well, the computers we have at the office are obviously for working. and we build them ourselves. I think we still do. I don't know if we are doing that anymore. Yeah, everyone does. Yeah. And we just, I don't know who decides what parts we get. We just kind of get what we get.
Starting point is 01:10:43 Usually people ops, they just, they have their inventory. Right. And they give that to your employees. However, when I hired Dennis, I made sure Papito got the best of the best. Yeah. I didn't want him to have like the hand-me-down people off the hardware.
Starting point is 01:11:01 Speaking of which. I do still need to replace the motherboard inside that inside that computer and I don't want to do it. I mean, we don't have IT. We are IT. We are all builders here. So it's like if your computer breaks, we will give you like the hardware to replace it.
Starting point is 01:11:19 But then it's like you kind of have to fix it. Yeah. Audio is cutting out every now and then for me. Might be a Discord problem. Let me see. Let me double check and make sure that Ivan didn't set it to the lowest spit rate possible, which he did. That's good.
Starting point is 01:11:35 Your B. And we're back. Okay, anyway. So that should be should sound better now, maybe. You're welcome. So it was probably Discord problem too. Blame Discord. God, so much, let me get through these.
Starting point is 01:11:50 Amazon Echo or Google Home? Google. I'll say Google as well. I use both, but Google. Apple or Android. Pixel gang. Apple for me. How silly?
Starting point is 01:12:02 Do you play video games? Watch videos, talk, browse web, blah, while at work. We don't really have time to play games
Starting point is 01:12:08 that work. Oh, while at work? Yeah, while at work. I'll watch videos and listen to stuff, but I don't like browse
Starting point is 01:12:13 a lot of stuff. I don't do any of those things. I'm busy. Because you guys keep sending me DMs, so you know. I could. I mean, if I really wanted to,
Starting point is 01:12:20 honestly, if I really wanted to. You could. I could just come to the office every day and just play video games and like watch, watch videos and whatever. Watch the Mandalorian.
Starting point is 01:12:29 And then, but I was tough to do my job. You know, and, you know, personally, I'd just rather just, you know, focus. Yeah. And then, like, I do game at work. I do watch videos at work. But it's not like. All the time.
Starting point is 01:12:43 Like, I don't, it's not something I look forward to. It's just when I have, you know, when it comes up, I'll do it. But I think the last time I played. So last time we were here was the, it was Monday, right? I think Monday or something. Yeah, Monday. We played Street Fighter in the office. But before that, the last time we played a game in the office was during our game
Starting point is 01:13:00 night and that was like three months ago I think it's the last time I'm playing a game in the office because I'm going to be here like like you know what I'm in here there's so much to do I don't want to take time to play a game you know like I can play games at home bro I'm here to here to work and here to answer all your all your delicious DMs so you know that's that's the answer to that does anyone at the office play warframe I don't know I don't think so I'm sure someone must
Starting point is 01:13:29 yeah someone has to I don't I don't know who though. There you go. Amanda played the warfrey. There we go. D. When are you banning parody accounts? Right now.
Starting point is 01:13:42 All right. Draw. Why is everything being pinned? I think every question is being pinned. Yeah, exactly. What do you guys think of this image? Pit, pit, pit, pit in a pit. Let me see the image.
Starting point is 01:13:55 I don't know about that. It's a pretty low quality meme. I like it. What do you guys think of metal music? I like it, but not my. like go to but right i think it's like some metal at least i i i like listening to um my daughter for some reason her favorite song that's not metal actually play my daughter's favorite song look up
Starting point is 01:14:26 uh imperial march by galactic empire so i play this with my daughter and she starts headbanging and i don't know who taught she learned that i don't know where she learned that but she starts headbanging She's like and then she starts when she sees darts Vader she'll just go Darth I think I think head-abanging is like a natural response to like heavy music you know maybe but she'll go like nice to me it is I have no idea who taught her how to do that but she loves this song that she threw out the the devil horns her head spins around her head spins around she has vomiting everywhere he goes red ram red ram red ram I remember my mom she would freak out when I listened metal music back in the day.
Starting point is 01:15:15 Same guys. So is this just like a Star Wars theme metal band? It's pretty good. I like them. Okay. That's cool, I guess. Different. So we'll get you fight right now.
Starting point is 01:15:33 Long last son. Longless Sun versus Ivan. Okay, next question. Can I add you on Nintendo? Yeah. Sure. Let me drop my code Vivian, go find my code on my
Starting point is 01:15:48 Twitch If you can have all the codes Yeah she does Oh she does huh She has a spreadsheet with all the codes Can you guys make an inverted case White inside black outside? I have a question
Starting point is 01:15:57 Okay Can I go to the restroom? Sure, go for it Doing another one of these It's because Ivan drinks like Three cups of coffee in the morning So like when we sit down for the podcast He never pees beforehand
Starting point is 01:16:07 So he always has to go It's up guys It's just me How you doing? I feel like I'm on a, it's funny, when Ivan's not here and I don't have someone to speak to, it kind of feels like I'm on like a, like a Twitch stream, right, at the look at the chat and actually directly speak to the chat.
Starting point is 01:16:24 But let's see, what other questions do we got here? Can you guys make an inverted case? See the conversation we had five minutes ago. Oh, can you wish Chris Lee from the support team, a happy late new year for me? Sure. Here, I'm going to screenshot this. Drop it in our customer service Slack channel where we show. all the customer service team of love wait hold that miss christian here
Starting point is 01:16:52 Chris I don't know how to spell Chris Chris Chris Lee yeah that's that's Chris Lee there we go and there you go he's now been wished a happy new year from you okay well other questions we got here guys what does poppy and den work on in work on at the office So first thing I get in, so first thing I do when I wake up is I check our Twitter DMs, not Twitter our Twitter mentions and our verified mentions because Twitter is the most important platform because it's an ongoing conversation that anybody can see as opposed to like Instagram, where you have to purposely go to the channel and find it. It's a lot easier to find things on Twitter and it's very in the moment, right?
Starting point is 01:17:38 So that's the first thing I do when I even wake up and then I use the restroom and I watch TikToks on the toilet just to see what the hot memes are. And then when I go into the office, we spend time looking at our DMs on Facebook, our Twitter stuff, our Instagram stuff, DMs on Discord. The question is what we do in the office? and then after that we start working on what we're posting for the day and then any other tasks we got to do so for example shipping out rewards or working on the sticker contest or dealing with you know discord stuff like you know someone's you know has a question about why they were warned and then we go back to the moderators hey why was the person warned so it's it's never it never stops it's a never
Starting point is 01:18:27 ending thing we work on the same things in the office that we do well at home is just do it in the office we can because we pretty much work wherever we're at Right, Evan? Sorry, say one time? Said, not me, I never work. Yep. And then we also deal with Andy, who has to sit all weird and makes me mad. We grab lunch.
Starting point is 01:18:48 Well, I don't. Well, I do. Ivan doesn't. I eat lunch. I walk into the warehouse for inspiration because there's always something crazy going on in the warehouse, no matter what. I eat lunch at my desk, though, in like five minutes. It's fruit lunch? Does that count?
Starting point is 01:19:02 For me, I do. Dealing with Amanda dropping by my desk? Yes, she does. I mean, yeah, you know, we do a lot of stuff in the office, you know. Record the podcast, edit it, throw it out. I can't believe it was Thursday. It's so weird that today's Thursday. It's a weird, weird couple of weeks.
Starting point is 01:19:18 Yeah. And then we have meetings, you know. Yep. We also have, like, events at the office, birthday cakes. Above customer service all the time with questions that I should know, but I don't remember. What happened to Apex and Dauntless? Apex is still going. I think they're still making money.
Starting point is 01:19:38 Donnless, Donnless, unfortunately, was announced. People were excited for it. And then, like, immediately after Capcom announced Monster Hunter World for PC, it kind of stole, like, all their thunder. That game was awesome. Yeah. It's still good.
Starting point is 01:19:51 I'm, I just picked it up on PC during the holidays. I always say, it's fun. I forgot how much you liked it. I'm using a heavy bow gun because I'm a weirder like that. Why use a sword when I can use a gun? True. D. Why does Den hate me?
Starting point is 01:20:06 How many times people ask this question? I don't know all the time. If you think I hate you, you don't really know me then. And that's why we're not friends. No one should ever take whatever Dennis is serious. Ever. Sayoshi wants to know, what do you think about the fact Sayoshi loves you?
Starting point is 01:20:22 I think that's neat. That's pretty neat. I wish he hated me like Dennis. Opinion on Metallica St. Anger. Ooh. Isn't that like their worst album? That's what people say. I don't think it's a bad song, though.
Starting point is 01:20:37 By the way, Metallica's going to see us right now. They're very litigious group. I think the people, the thing that would be some of people don't like it because of the coffee cans. That? Dump, don't,
Starting point is 01:20:47 don't, don't. I've definitely heard worse music. Never mind. It's pretty bad. Say, go around. It's a song slaps.
Starting point is 01:20:57 I don't know what people are talking about. It's a good song. Donuts went to EGS and killed it. Yikes. Next question is, favorite song in 2020 so far. It's only been two days. Yeah, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:21:12 I don't think anything's dropped yet as far as I know. I'm living in 2019, too. Have you seen at NZXT PFP's account on Insta? So what's your favorite drawing of theirs? Hey, what? I didn't know that's an account. Let's look it up. What is this?
Starting point is 01:21:30 NZXT PFPs. CCPFP. Someone leaked it to me. I'm not going to look it up. I'm too lazy. will it be a 480 millimeter AIO incoming? I don't think so. None of our cases can support a 4 to 80 cooler, right?
Starting point is 01:21:52 Rad. Maybe the 710 up top? No. No. No, the 30s. No. No. No.
Starting point is 01:21:57 No. The 360s. Yeah. Yeah. Actually, we have older cases, like the phantoms that did. They can take a 480? But, um. That's a really big rad.
Starting point is 01:22:08 Yeah. What are you doing with that thing? We need a rab. We're probably not going to make a case that supports the product that we don't even make. Yeah, that's pretty much it. Who's the biggest weeb in the office from Ryan? Probably McKay.
Starting point is 01:22:22 I don't think so. Or the guy that has a license plate that says anime god on it. Yeah, someone has an anime god license plate. That has to be him. He's the anime god, right? Who else is good to be? I would actually, I do think McKay is the biggest weeb, honestly. Really?
Starting point is 01:22:37 Yeah. He, I don't know, man. There's a lot more. Well, Eric is also another big webe. It's a lot of webs in the, The warehouse, man. A lot of new webs, too. Maybe McKay is the cringiest weep.
Starting point is 01:22:47 A new challenger might have appeared in the last couple months. He hired all the builders for the holidays. What do you like more? This is from Mesk. Meske? Meske. What do you like more, Slack or Microsoft Teams? I've never used Microsoft Teams.
Starting point is 01:23:04 But are you Slack every day? Sorry, I have a homie who's going to be coming in today to interview. And he's like, hey, you want to grab lunch? I'm like, sure. I don't know they were interviewing today. Yes, today. I told Lauren, who's our head of customer service to watch out for him. Hey, like make it a really hard interview.
Starting point is 01:23:23 Ask him super hard questions. Ask him, how much does a free PC cost? Let's see what the answer is. St. Anger is a good song. I don't care anybody says. You can at me on that on Twitter. What is your favorite N-Z-Z-T cases discontinued? Manta.
Starting point is 01:23:46 The Hyper Beast one. Which one? There's two. Yes. Poppy, what is your profile picture? Which profile picture? On Nintendo Switch. Oh, that's...
Starting point is 01:23:58 It's a Maui. One of the, like, stones from Mario Odyssey. And never played it, Odyssey. Is it good? Yeah, that's like one of the best games of the decade for sure. There you go. Favorite game in 2019? Destiny 2.
Starting point is 01:24:14 Fortnite. It's best game in the world. Okay, favorite song in 2019? Anything by post Malone. Exactly. Easy, easy, easy. There you go, guys. We caught up with all the questions. Thanks. Stop asking now. You still got some time left, Ivan.
Starting point is 01:24:31 You anything else you want to talk about? I got a couple of things here. Question for you, Ivan. Yeah. Does the decade start now or does it start in 2021? Depends. Do you follow the Gregorian calendar or not? I don't know what that means. Can you explain it to me? Then it starts right now.
Starting point is 01:24:45 There we go. It is now the new decade, guys. Enjoy your new decade. 2020. We're doing it big. Get ready for 20, 2030. It's crazy. The people born in 2020 are going to live to see the year 3000.
Starting point is 01:25:02 Imagine, dude, right? It's going to be crazy. Like, who knows what's going to happen? Life's a trip, man. 2000, I know. Mine's blown, dude. Can't wait. I saw, I saw a T-O-was dying.
Starting point is 01:25:15 There's an attempt, right, to do math. You've been to the year 3,000 Amanda? Cool. N6T mom. How about a question for the community? Exclusive question. Go ahead. What do you got?
Starting point is 01:25:33 Should we do another sticker contest? Yes or no? Answer now. Or we won't do it. No matter what you answer, we're going to do it. Doesn't matter what you say. Ha ha. Oh, yeah, so for those who, because I got a couple questions about this in my DMs, we have not sent the stickers yet.
Starting point is 01:25:53 Tell them why. Because we have to use Acumatica to show up the stickers. And when they made my account so that I could start doing these shipment orders, I'm missing features on my account. Yeah, I might just, honestly, I just might do it out of the way. For real. I want to get him out there. I told you to give me your account. I think the people who are responsible for granting the access for the account,
Starting point is 01:26:20 I think they might be on vacation right now. Yeah, because of Ken has an education. Rather than weight, I think I... Not to put Ken on blast, but I just think he's been busy. Yeah. It's not going to take long. It'll just take, like, maybe like an hour of my time. But I'd rather just do that.
Starting point is 01:26:32 It'll probably take me three hours because I'm still not good at it. It's hard to do. It was supposed to be like training for you. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know. Well, like, I did it with the, with the boomer podcast prizes. So those got sent out and we get a photo. from who was it as a photo from I forget I got it in was it dog eater now it wasn't dog
Starting point is 01:26:48 eater destiny who won the stupid video card it's a dark X he has dark X he said hey the GPU arrived nice to secure it only got opened by American Homeland Security and British Homeland Security because like imagine open this box like what the heck's a 3d blaster right I'm sure to have to open it this package is gonna blow up it's gonna blast it's gotta let me see it's got it's the ultimate 3D gaming experience, got high performance V-RAM,
Starting point is 01:27:16 2D Windows acceleration. No, I don't know. There's a joke in there somewhere, but I can't think of it right now. Like, I'm already feeling like, it's like he's going to go.
Starting point is 01:27:28 I'm done. I know, I'm tired, man. Whenever I have a day of from the office, my wife, my wife actually makes fun, or not make fun of me, she always thinks I'm really weird
Starting point is 01:27:39 because, so Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. I have no problem staying up till midnight, 1 o'clock in the morning, 2 o'clock in the morning,
Starting point is 01:27:53 you know, working on stuff, like chatting on Discord or whatever. Bugging me on Slack. Yeah, I have no problem doing that. But then, you know, Friday night, Saturday night, Sunday night, when I don't, when I'm not at the office,
Starting point is 01:28:05 you know, when I'm like, you know, just chilling at home. Like, I'll go to bed at 8 o'clock. My wife will go, when I want you, I'll go, want you a movie? I'm just going to cry. I'm just tired. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:28:15 Last night I slept a lot. Well, this whole last couple of weeks I've been sleeping a lot. So when I sleep a lot, I get really, really tired at the opposite. I'm the opposite. I sleep in earlier when I'm working and I stay up later on the weekends. That's what normal people do. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:28:32 Do the exact opposite of that. Like last night I went to bed at 9 o'clock and I woke up today at 5. That's eight hours, right? Yeah. There's a pretty crappy eight hours though. It's not a very fun eight hours. Well, for me it is because I enjoy my... It's so early.
Starting point is 01:28:45 I enjoy my mornings, man. That's when I have my poppy time. Make my coffee, make my omelet, watch the news. Read the weather. Basically, yeah, that's my only time to do that stuff. I mean, give me crap because it's like, what? You don't read the weather? I'm like, no, I just, whatever happens happens, dude, it can't change it, so who cares?
Starting point is 01:29:04 I'll just put in a jacket or take it off if it's too hot. Well, just because that week, it was like 100% chance of rain every day that week. And then started pouring. And Dennis goes, I don't know it's going to rain. Like, well, maybe you should look at the weather app on your phone. I like it being a surprise, though, you know, just, just chilling. I'm like, oh, hey, look, does rain? Cool.
Starting point is 01:29:24 If one of there was some way for me to know, there was going to be rain beforehand. Like, it's not like I dress any differently when there's rain, you know? Like, here in California, I mean, it's like, you know, it's, for me, it's freezing cold right now. And it's like, what, 60 degrees, 62 degrees? Right now is currently 62 degrees. It's actually kind of cool. And the max is 69 degrees. That's the high.
Starting point is 01:29:47 Nice. Yeah, I think it's pretty much it. What's your plan for the new year, Ivan? I know what you said about resolutions, but let's just say this stuff we just want to get done. Just more fun stuff on the server, honestly. That's literally like my big plan is just adding more fun stuff for the community to do, doing more fun stuff
Starting point is 01:30:11 to give to them like the Poochie calendar for example Yeah just trying to have more fun basically It's just gonna be awesome I think You have a lot of cool stuff to do Yeah Besides that
Starting point is 01:30:24 Just trying to do like I guess procrastinate less Just move faster You know Just stop wasting time And I don't need to waste time I guess
Starting point is 01:30:35 I mean is it really a waste of time If you enjoy it though I don't think so. No, yes. I mean, the way you see it, right, if we're going to get like super deep about it, we're all kind of wasting time, right? It's doing whatever.
Starting point is 01:30:47 So we must have some fun while you're at it. Well, you're all in my simulation, so you're not wasting time. Do you really think we're in a simulation? You're wasting my time. I don't know if we are, but I do think it's possible. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:30:58 It's possible. Anything is possible. I don't know. I think simulation, I think life is too weird for a simulation, to be honest. I think it's too weird for it not to be, stimulation.
Starting point is 01:31:09 Guess you have a posy possum. You never know, man. Yeah. Time will prove everything. I mean, I still have hopes that when I die, I'm just going to take off of virtual reality helmet. Dude, that'd be cool. And you're like, man, that was sick.
Starting point is 01:31:23 What's the next one? Yeah. I was this guy named Poppy and I worked at this company called NVXT. But it's not the same thing as like reincarnation technically, right? It's just like a different take on it. Like, I really don't know, man. I just think anything is possible. You know, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:31:38 I don't know the answer. I was watching this video once on YouTube, and it was like, for life to be a simulation, right, there have to be an advanced race that has developed a computer so complex so they can simulate all of life and a bunch of other people's lives at the same time. We literally already have that.
Starting point is 01:31:55 Yeah, it's called the creator PC. Well, it's the Sims, man. You guys want to simulate a real life by the NZXT creator PC today on let's build.com slash Dennis. That's my code. We're already playing simulation games, you know. The Sims is a perfect example.
Starting point is 01:32:15 I mean, you're creating a world and then you're just doing whatever you want with that world. Life is just the Sims. Like, I don't know if someone's doing that with us. You know, it could be very well the case. I don't know. Do you know they added mermaids to the Sims now? You can literally be a mermaid or a vampire. Really?
Starting point is 01:32:31 Yeah, they added this like Sims Island Life expansion and you can go to an, an island have like property on the island and like be a mermaid if you want his games gets so weird dude it gets so crazy that's why it's so weird that life is so weird I think it could very well be that we're living in a simulation yeah because it's just a lot of things too like a lot of coincidences and stuff like that yeah just the way I see it man we should have a separate podcast just for talking about simulation theory Yeah, exactly. Recently, someone...
Starting point is 01:33:10 Or like Middle Gear? There's a book. I forget the name of the book, but someone actually recently just wrote a book, not necessarily proving like simulation theory is true,
Starting point is 01:33:22 but essentially proving that the simulation theory is possible. Right. Of course it's possible. Exactly. So it is entirely possible that we are...
Starting point is 01:33:33 It's like quantum computing, you know? Living in a simulation, but it's also entirely possible that we're not, you know. Okay, here's a question. If we were living in a simulation, would you want to know that? If I will. And are you, and if you are living in a simulation, second question, are you okay with that fact that we are living in a simulation? And everything you're doing now is basically pointless.
Starting point is 01:33:57 I live my life as if I am in a simulation that I'm in control of. and that simulation is to me like a movie. So I see my life as a movie and I'm the hero and the main character, right? So whenever I'm struggling with anything, I think, what would the hero do right now? And yeah, because every movie, every movie is at least the good ones. Like the best part is like the hero is struggling with something. Right. And then like they struggle and then they do something cool and then the movie's over, right?
Starting point is 01:34:29 So that's kind of how I live my life is like, okay, if my life was a movie, what would the hero do right now? And then I just try to do those things. I don't always do those things, but I try to live my life in that, like that, at least. If life was truly a simulation, I would try to find a way to break it so that I could basically be like Neo and the Matrix, right?
Starting point is 01:34:49 Like basically do that. Like, I want to be able to stop bullets and, like, you know, fly like Superman and like no confu instantly, stuff like that. I would just get rid of anime. If you have one thing you could do, delete anime. the anime. All right.
Starting point is 01:35:04 That would be a good one. Well, I think with that, I think we're good. We kind of went a, went in a very, a very interesting path. And maybe that's the future of the clubcast. It's just us talking about simulation. Okay. I haven't got the choice. Do you get lofi?
Starting point is 01:35:21 Lofi. Okay, that's it. All right, guys. With that, I'll bump this up a little bit. Thank you very much for joining us today. Thank you, everyone who tuned in, who asked questions, who hung out with us.
Starting point is 01:35:36 Remember to tune in next week at 10 a.m. Pacific Standard Time of the official NZC Discord server and follow us at, follow us on at NZXT on all. That's a weird, that's a weird sentence. I don't know why it's like that. And follow at NZXC on all relevant social media. Why is life so hard today? And don't forget to listen to previous episodes on Apple Podcast, Google Podcast, Spotify, and SoundCloud. Thank very much, guys.
Starting point is 01:36:00 And keep I-bibing. Happy New Year. Bye. Thank you.
