Starting point is 00:00:15 Welcome to episode 26 of the N60 Clubcast, the official podcast of the NXT community. This podcast is recorded live every Thursday at 10 a.m. Pacific Standard Time on the official N6T Discord server and is available to stream wherever you listen to your favorite podcasts. My name is Dennis. And as always, is Ivan. Happy Friday, Jr., everyone. Hello. And today's special guest is product marketing manager for case accessories, RGB Vennel controller Melody Kang morning everyone how's it going great all right how was your egg this morning
Starting point is 00:01:22 your single hard world yeah Melody eats the most boring breakfast I've ever heard of in my life we asked she got here really early today and we asked her Melody do you have breakfast can't get you anything she's like no I'm good I ate so would you have Melody and she said one egg one single egg yeah that's it an ostrich egg though kind of fancy she had two hands eat it So, as we said earlier, Melody is our product marketing manager for case accessories, which includes the brand-new brand spanking new, sort of, RGB, and fan hub controller. Not sort of, it's literally been three days. I mean, you know, it's technology, so.
Starting point is 00:02:03 Because that's old news by internet standards. Yeah, exactly, right? The way that, uh, at the rate, that Twitter moves and Instagram moves, nothing's ever really new anymore. Yeah. But I am very happy that Melody is on the podcast. Because I think... Old-time homie? Yeah, she's one of the people who's been here the longest.
Starting point is 00:02:24 And, you know, I've been here a while, but she's been here a while longer. And I still remember my first time ever coming into the NZXT office. And they put me in a room with Melody and the rest of the marketing team back then. Melody back then was a graphic designer. And they put me in a room with Melody. the PR manager and the marketing manager and I sat across them and they interviewed me and then I found out later that Melody told everyone not to hire me. No, I didn't.
Starting point is 00:02:58 I don't recommend we hire that guy. Get rid of them. Too bad. They hired me. I'm still here. Yeah, it's been fun working with Melody and also seeing her kind of go from being a graphic designer to like what she is now, which is totally different. So I am excited for her to kind of tell that story a little bit too, besides other stuff.
Starting point is 00:03:18 Yeah. But it's cool. But first I want to know, what is it about Ivan that you didn't like? What did you hate him so much? Because I didn't like him either when I first met him. Seriously? Wow. I don't remember not liking him.
Starting point is 00:03:31 It's not what I heard. It's okay. You don't have to lie. This is a safe space. You see whatever comes to your heart. I didn't remember my first day at work. My very first day at work, right? Which is a couple weeks later.
Starting point is 00:03:41 it was the day we launched the Noctus 450 that's the day I started and I remember there was like something wrong like with the website or something and I just vividly remember Melody like jumping up out of her desk and like cursing it like F that bye bye beep beep beep
Starting point is 00:04:02 beep beep and I was like wow it's going to be a fun place to work at but not of it She doesn't, it wasn't like in a bad way. It just shows how much she cares, you know, and like everyone cares here. So it's, you know. But she definitely does curse more than anyone I've ever met in my life. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:22 We, uh, we, we just bought some new equipment. It was a $500 bleat button just for melody. Yeah. It's funny. When we told everyone that you were going to be on the podcast, they're like, is everyone worried? They're like, are you worried she's going to curse? Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:04:33 No, she'll be fine. I'll hold it up for it. They reminds you of, uh, that reminds you of Snow, who we're definitely going to have in the podcast for these days. we, during the pop-up, we had like a stream set up, right? And we had employees hop on there. The first thing we'd tell us, no, Snow, please don't use bad words.
Starting point is 00:04:47 We didn't use bad words on social media. We don't use bad words in our Discord to use bad words on the stream. The first thing she does is like yell out the F word. And then I told her, what did I just tell you? I told you not to curse. And she said, is the F word a bad word? Like, yeah. It's like the worst bad word you could possibly say.
Starting point is 00:05:08 So, Melody, product marketing manager what does that mean what do you do you do well from beginning to end pretty much for the product so I'll start with product concepts and then we have to evaluate the business side of the product so that includes you know the cost of revenue and things like that and then We take the product to production, good event manufactured. You know, we review the quality, test it, do revisions, refine it more. And then we have the final product. And even after the product launch, we do have to follow up and track the sales and how our products are doing and continue with improvements, whether it's on the hardware side.
Starting point is 00:06:08 software side or even the website and things like that that sounds really hard a lot harder than just making memes yeah yeah no like it's definitely not how long does that take fun and exciting as your job I mean it's fun too but you know in a different way how long does it take to make a product like RGB and fan controller how long do that take that one's one of the shorter timeline projects so probably four, five months. Five months? That actually is pretty short.
Starting point is 00:06:44 It's actually really, really short for product. Yeah. It's a much shorter one, yeah. I remember when I first started, like, everyone was all talking about, you know, Manta. But at that point, at that point when I started, like, Manta had already been in development for like four years. Yeah. And it ended up being something completely different. So I feel like cases take a lot longer than case accessories maybe.
Starting point is 00:07:06 It does. Yeah, there's a lot more work. What other accessories besides the RGB and the fan controller have you worked on? So far, all the lighting accessories. So undergo cable combs, LED strips. My lady keeping PC gamers lit. That's right. Keeping it blingy up in here.
Starting point is 00:07:33 What are some of the challenges when you have to like, research and develop a new product? What's like the hardest part? Convincing Johnny. Besides that, I think understanding, like really getting deeper and understanding what our customers want, I think, sometimes
Starting point is 00:08:01 could be difficult depending on which product it is. Yeah, it's not easy. Yeah, we deal with that every single day. Everyone tells us 50 million things that they want. And then we're like, do you really want that though? Are you sure or do you think you want that? I think it's some of the hardest parts when you're dealing with even like a community, right?
Starting point is 00:08:22 Like people say they want something and then you put it in and then they're like, oh, this sucks. Can you get rid of it? I'm like, what? We spent all this time making this thing for you. But Melody is proof that she listens. I mean, she makes us do surveys every so often. Yes, you do. I want to know what people think about this.
Starting point is 00:08:37 Can you ask? and we ask and then we let her know and then she you know bases her decisions on what to do on the community's answer so she does listen so what you're saying is that if something comes out and it doesn't and and people don't like it their fault yeah it's literally your guys's fault it's all your fault mix signal um what did you do before you worked at nzxte um I did mostly design based things so what kind of things did you work on Um, marketing, mostly marketing assets. So banners, I did work at, um, can I say who I was?
Starting point is 00:09:16 Yeah, do you want? So to you. Um, I did work at, uh, corporate for a lolly cup. So a lot of like, for what? Lolleycup. What's, what's Lolley Cup? I don't know what that is. It's like the boba drink.
Starting point is 00:09:30 Oh, cool. You know all the boba cups? Yeah, yeah. Yeah. So, um, I've met several people who worked. there. Yeah. It's interesting.
Starting point is 00:09:40 I thought Lollah Cup was something else. Yeah, it's really close. As a weave, I was expecting Lollicup to be something completely different. I'm like, I don't think we can talk about it here, guys. Real six, real six. It's actually really cool. So I remember when I first started, you were a graphic designer. And back then, our team was a lot smaller.
Starting point is 00:09:57 Yeah. We were actually in the same team back then. Yeah. Right? For a while. Yeah. And back in the day, we were all like, in one room.
Starting point is 00:10:09 Yeah. And it was fun. It was cool. Like, you know, like having a small team like that that kind of did everything. But how did you actually transition from design and graphic design into product marketing? Well, as I did more things in design, I mean, a big part of it was to support the product team. Right. So we had to work closely with them.
Starting point is 00:10:37 And I think I just grew more and more interested in the, I guess, the business side of things and creating products, especially my background was in product design too. So it kind of all, I guess, all worked out in the end. Yeah. Yeah. And that's one of the cool things I love about NZXT is. People have that opportunity, you know. Because I don't know any other company that would, like, telegraphic designer. Oh, you want to work in product marketing?
Starting point is 00:11:14 Sure. Go for it. But here it's like, yeah, you will get that shot, you know. And not just you, but I think, you know, there's plenty of people here who started one place and ended up in another. And they'd do great, you know. Maybe I'll be a product marketing manager one day. Maybe I'll be CEO one day.
Starting point is 00:11:30 I'll just be like, you buy now. Why? What were some of the hardest case accessories to design and work on? I think so. Because you have quite a few. Yeah, so far it's got to be the RGB products because they all have to kind of work together and to get all the hardware and software and sync that took quite a bit of effort and time, especially when we
Starting point is 00:12:03 for the first version the Q Plus we only had LED strip so it was quite a feat to you know produce that many more I guess what would you like to see
Starting point is 00:12:16 like as a future of our RGB and lighting like line oh I mean obviously don't give anything away but like if you could like say change something right now and just like have it already made ready to go what would it be No spoilers
Starting point is 00:12:32 I can't It's gonna be But it would definitely be You mean there's more stuff coming out RGB zip ties Hmm Oh Yeah
Starting point is 00:12:42 What about what about The whole case is RGB Just like one giant strip An RGB case In my overheat Less airflow I think Melody does have a challenging job though
Starting point is 00:12:58 Because we treat RGB be a little different than what most, how most people treat it, I think, because we definitely don't want to put RGB on everything, you know? Yeah. We would have done that by now. It's like not that hard to just say like, let's make an entire RGB case or RGB headphones or whatever. It's like, that's easy. Archb mouse pad, right? Yeah, exactly. So I think Melody's job is kind of hard in that where it's like, okay, where exactly do we want RGB and how much and how should it look and work and all that. Like, because it's, it has to kind of follow the NZXT aesthetic.
Starting point is 00:13:29 And our aesthetic is definitely not, you know, rainbow, rainbow colors on everything. Yeah. Yeah. I remember when we, when we released or announced the, uh, the RGB and fan controller, people are asking, what does it look like that? So all these holes in it like, because everything we have looks like, not looks the same, but it looks like it comes from the same like mold, right? Like, we have a very specific, uh, design language.
Starting point is 00:13:53 Exactly. Yeah. very specific design language and like it's like steps that we take to make sure that everything that we that we put out looks like it's from the same family right so when you have it all together all combined looks amazing all right so let's let's talk about the RGB and fan controller um why why did we make it what did you make it it's all your fault well um the h series i k's we had great feedback on that and the idea behind is that we want to offer that upgrade ability to, you know, people who aren't trying to buy a H-series case or if they are trying to go with other, you know, maybe color combination or other aesthetics, they would still have the features that the I case has also. For those that don't know, the I cases are our case line that includes. integrated RGB lighting and fan control and that's done with a smart device. So yeah, basically Melody took that idea of the smart device and now like any
Starting point is 00:15:07 any computer case can basically have a quote unquote smart device even though that's not what we're calling it. Yeah. That's just what everyone kind of refers to as that but would you say it's basically you know a way for everyone to get that smart device functionality and yeah yeah for people who um you know not everyone
Starting point is 00:15:30 maybe likes the aesthetics of the icase i mean it looks amazing but should it call it the smarty device the smarty yeah that would cool right big brain device galaxy brain device
Starting point is 00:15:45 iq 200 device yeah so actually um I do have a question about about that so the I not to knock other people products right because everyone has their own idea what you know what it looks like but I remember my buddy was building a computer he was like I just bought a new video card and
Starting point is 00:16:02 it doesn't fit in this alienware case because he bought his alienware back when the video card prices were like super inflated and he's like I'm gonna buy this oh 11 dynamic it's a great case really really cool is like I want RGB in it okay so he buys this like two packs of these Corsair RGB fans and then we realize we don't have enough things to plug him into like the fan controller that came with it or the RGB doesn't work so we had to go out to the store buy a $70 Commander Pro plug everything in and then we realized
Starting point is 00:16:31 oh wait you can't daisy chain these together you get to plug them in all to his little splitter and then plug them all in the one lane and it was in my opinion like a huge hassle and just like a mess of cables and managing it was like a complete nightmare that's what you get for wanting an RGB exactly and that's the thing right
Starting point is 00:16:47 like I was like man like RGB kind of sucks so much effort to put into it And then when I started building in the 510, the 510 Elite, I bought an extra pack of two AirRGB fans. And just being able to daisy chain them made it so much easier for me to have all these cables and kind of hide them a little bit so they're not just all hanging off the back of the case. So like how are you able to sell this RGB controller for so cheap when like other other like controllers are like double, triple the price?
Starting point is 00:17:22 What magic did you put in there? What did you take out? Well, one great thing is about with our light controller is that it does fit multiple accessories, you know, as long as it follows the 40 LED rule. Per channel. Per channel. So potentially for people who have a lot of accessory or want a lot of lighting in their case, they could fit a lot more. and other controllers. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:57 And also another quick side note before you continue, I do want to mention that all this is controlled with our software cam, which, in my opinion, is the best it's ever been right now. Shout out to Jeff Gort. That is really good. Actually, I love it, Ben. It's been cool seeing the evolution of our RBB, but as well as the software we used to control it
Starting point is 00:18:23 because when I first started, Cam was definitely not, you know, I wouldn't say it's like, I wouldn't consider it like good software back then, but now, even though it's not perfect, I do think it's, you know, great. Wait, it's not perfect.
Starting point is 00:18:36 Well, there's no perfect software. There's no way. Except Discord if they're listening. Discord's pretty much. Oh, actually, Jeff said, did you know that Melody was a CAM PM for a while? I was going to say he, he copied a,
Starting point is 00:18:50 a screenshot of the first version cam like a few weeks ago to me and I was like did you know I I made that first version yeah yeah I've used multiple I actually I have multiple RGB software on my computer because I have a Courser keyboard I have a Steel Series mouse and then I had what else that I have I had something else and honestly like No, no cap, no cap and I'm taking off my hat right now, right? I honestly think Cam is the easiest to use. Because some of these, some of these softwares use, have like way too many, like, I don't know, just the way they're designed from like an aesthetic perspective, it makes my eyes like bleed. It's really, it's a pain to the butt to use.
Starting point is 00:19:42 Softwares. Softwares. Software. All the softwares. One and every. Actually, I kind of want to ask that. How, how was it working on, on, on, on, on, on cam. in the day? I mean, not a lot.
Starting point is 00:19:55 Be honest. Not a lot of products connected to KM back then. It was so bad. I think she disappeared for like a year after that. Oh yeah? You went to like Taiwan for a long time. I went for a good almost half a year. I was wondering, we're like, what the heck happened to Melody?
Starting point is 00:20:13 Like I think I knew she was going to go to Taiwan. It was last year, right? Yeah. Yeah. And I think that was when you were transitioning into. two case accessories maybe um no that was when i had a few products i had to kind of follow up so i just stayed there yeah i knew you were going there for work but like i don't think anyone has ever gone to taiwan for work for more than like two weeks yeah some people ask me if i'm still here
Starting point is 00:20:39 they're like after after three months i was worried i was like is she coming back what the heck Your desk was just like Like a mound of like papers People would just put up there The heck But yeah She came back Everyone she's here
Starting point is 00:20:56 Yay Welcome back Welcome back Thank you Yeah so I think it's great They were selling the Essentially what is the smart device
Starting point is 00:21:06 standalone Because like you said Like a lot of people You know Some people don't like our cases right They think there's not on a fair flow Or they want a different aesthetic or they want different color ways and things like that.
Starting point is 00:21:17 And I think it's great that now we can offer them a product that allows them to still, you know, use the lighting and stuff that they want from us, but without having to, you know, buy a whole other, you know, like version of a case. Because like, you know, let's say I have, you know, an H440 and I want to use, you know, all this RGB stuff and I don't want to buy like a hue and then buy a grid and buy all this stuff. Like now you can just buy this one device, which is, Pretty inexpensive. TBH, not going to lie.
Starting point is 00:21:48 Slap it in your case with some of those sticky 3M magnets. And then just spend $1,000 in the accessories. Yep, exactly. Just buy 50, 50 strips of RGB. Slap that in there. What's something that has RGB that you think doesn't need to have RGB? Melody. As the RGB god here?
Starting point is 00:22:13 From us? see. From us? General. General. Yeah. Say it's the chair. Street lights. Oh, I didn't think about that.
Starting point is 00:22:22 Remember that? Yeah. I forget who put out of chair. Mouse pads? I think it's so small that it's kind of. I would argue it's headsets because you don't even see it. You can't see it. Why would you need RGP on your headset if you're wearing it unless you want people
Starting point is 00:22:35 to look at you? It's either too dim or it's so bright that you'll see it out of like the sides of your eyes. Yeah. Oh, man, I can't focus on the game. Or even your mouse because your hands on it. That's true. What you want? Yeah, because on my sense, my palm goes right over the Steel Series logo.
Starting point is 00:22:51 Yeah. I was like, oh, I can't even see the cool colors that I spent five hours setting up. What, what, what, what, what, what keyboard do you use? Because I know a lot of people like talking about keyboards on Discord. Do you have a fancy one? Melody probably has no idea about anything that's on the desk. I have a razor kit. Yeah?
Starting point is 00:23:14 Oh. You do? Yeah. The noisy kind. I know I can tell you hear from across the office. How do you like it? I love it. I used to not, well, this was, you know, right when I started.
Starting point is 00:23:29 I didn't really know all the differences between the keyboard. And then do you remember, the UI designer? She. Oh, how? How? Yeah. She's super into keyboard. And she had a mechanical keyboard, and she sat right next year,
Starting point is 00:23:48 and she was like super loud when she's typing. I even got mad at her for it. We're cool, you know, now. She's awesome. Yeah. And then. I bought $200. Now I use the exact same one.
Starting point is 00:24:00 Yeah, she had like the most awesome keyboard collection I've ever seen, I think. Yeah. She was cool. Yeah. So I use it to annoy other people now. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know much about keyboards either, but.
Starting point is 00:24:14 I always see people talking about it on the Discord, and I kind of want to get into it. But then I see how much these, like, custom keyboards cost. Yeah. It's like, oh, and I got this bendy, you know, paracord that, you know, will save me in the case of a fire. And I'm like, I don't know. There's people in our office that have, like, $500 keyboards that they made. Yeah. McKay in customer service is like a really fancy keyboard.
Starting point is 00:24:35 Yeah. He's probably the nicest one in here, I think. It's really cool. You imagine he was actually in the Discord and he talked about keyboards with everybody else? His keyboard is, like, the size of, like, five fingers. It's five, it's five, like, you text for like one hand. It's like that small. It's like, you can't even have two hands on that keyboard.
Starting point is 00:24:52 That's the small. And it's purple. What's your opinion on the 10 key on the keyboard? Do you like it or do you don't like it? I miss my 10 key. I don't have a 10 key on mine. I need it. You need it?
Starting point is 00:25:02 You need it? All those calculations. Calculating all the numbers. Calculating all the numbers. How many RGB? Do I need? Well, I'm sure, yeah, you deal with a lot of numbers. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:16 She likes counting. Oh, do you? Are you a big counting fan? I don't like it, but. Do you count cards in Vegas? No. No. I wish.
Starting point is 00:25:26 I wish I can. You know, they'll actually kick you out if they, if they find out that you are. I've heard of people who, like, have, like, learned to count cards in Vegas and then, like, somehow, somehow they, like, know. They're, like, able to tell this guy here. Well, they know if you win.
Starting point is 00:25:42 If you keep winning. Yeah. Maybe you're just really good at, like, poker in general, you know? Vegas wouldn't exist if people won. People are supposed to lose. Unless. Yeah. I never lose at Vegas, actually.
Starting point is 00:25:53 I don't think I've ever, I've ever ended up losing money in Vegas. I always end up like a couple hundred dollars in top at least. Flash forward to like 10 years of real. Dennis is like, I'm broke. We'll set up RGB for food. Well, cable management for food. One question we get, we've been getting a lot about the RGB and things. controller melody is people, I don't know why it's so hard for them to understand this, but
Starting point is 00:26:17 even today on Reddit, some guy was asking, I have an H400 I, should I get this? And I'm like, no. Oh. So, well, I guess it depends, right? Like, you could get it if you need more RGB or whatever. More fans, yeah. Maybe you want. Yeah, I could see people needing one, but I mean, if you're just starting off and from scratch, then, you know, I case would do. if they're under the i case, you know, or the H series. Some people just want, like, I don't know if they want more RGB or they want more NZXT. Because some people have, like, they'll get like an H-700 I, and then they'll get, like, the N7 motherboard. Uh-huh.
Starting point is 00:27:02 Which has, you know, the same features that are on the eye. And then maybe they're going to get the RGB and fan controller because they, I don't know. Like, I feel like it's, some people just want more, always want more. Then I will encourage them to buy more RGB accessories to fill all the ports. You can always have more, but I guess the question is, do you need it? No, but if you want it, then sure.
Starting point is 00:27:26 It's not going to, you know. It's not going to hurt. What falls under case accessories? Do the fans count there too? I do have the fans also. Okay. So all the case fans, RGB lighting and then Puck internal USB hub.
Starting point is 00:27:47 Ooh. What are your thoughts on the puck? Be honest. Ivan's here. We also have the I want to believe plus here. My lady loves the puck. Yeah. Oh, yeah?
Starting point is 00:27:57 They're really useful to hold everything. Cables, headsets. What else can you use? I have a half on my fridge holding on. I put him on your fridge. All the takeout menus. Let's put it on there. I think I have like, without exaggerating, probably like 20 pucks stuck up my refrigerator.
Starting point is 00:28:21 Oh my. Seriously? Yeah. 20 pucks? Yeah. It's like I have a lot of pucks. I have like every color. What's on your fridge right now that you're using the pucks to hold?
Starting point is 00:28:30 Just, um, like, artwork that my daughter does. No, it's my wife leaving me. Right. Can you? The other day I bought. Can you use the puck as a chip clip? to make sure that your chips don't get stale. The other day I bought my daughter this, like, kitchen thing,
Starting point is 00:28:49 like a little kitchen thing from some lady on, like, on an app. I don't know what app, my wife bought it, but I just want to go pick it up. And I go to pick it up, and then these two little grills come out, and they were sad. They're like, we don't want the mom to sell the kitchen, but can you tell us more about your daughter? And I was like, sure. So they ended up writing these little notes for her. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:29:11 That said, like, we hope you have fun with our kitchen. Please take care of it, whatever. So I put those up on the fridge with Pucks. That's really nice, actually. That's cute. Super nice. I'm crying now. Well, I'm crying in the club right now.
Starting point is 00:29:26 And then Dix T Club. We got some questions from the community regarding your job. Oh. And they're going to blame me for a couple things. So it's time for you to take responsibility. Okay. Nibler wants to know. know what are the responsibilities of being a product marketing manager so i'm going to
Starting point is 00:29:45 to spoke to this a little bit but if you can kind of expand on it a little bit more expand on it yes ma'am do they did they say specifically which aspect they want to make so so let's say you you wake up in the morning right you do your morning routine you have your single egg right you come into the office what's the first thing you do when you come into the office um do day to day I, okay, I check my emails first. How many do you usually have? I clear every day, so it's probably, I would say, within 20 emails it's been, so it's been pretty good. And then I usually will kind of browse through my product sales numbers, at least every other day.
Starting point is 00:30:37 then it kind of depends on if I have like a product in progress if I do I'll probably follow up on the status of things for the product if I don't I'm most likely doing research on a new product and then oh can I say something uh-huh melody is also the most organized person I've ever worked with in my entire life seriously like when she was I worked with her a lot more when she was on graphic design but she was very like organized and like what project she had to do what she's working on what she's waiting on what she needs she would like follow up with everyone consistently like very detailed messages yeah of like okay Ivan I need this from you or Ivan what's the status of this thing and not just me but everyone
Starting point is 00:31:33 is are you still that organized now that yes I am What do you use for all that organization? Back in the day, it was like Trello and Reich. Yeah, I have my own to-do list now in Google Drive. Nice. Yeah. She's super organized, man. Good drive.
Starting point is 00:31:52 What are some tips for our listeners when to get more organized in their life? What do you recommend? Definitely date and version all the files. That's smart, actually. I don't do that. I have a bunch of things on my Google Docs. I'm like, why is this a thing in here? Because sometimes you need it later on,
Starting point is 00:32:13 and then you will regret not doing that. There's 10 copies of the same thing. I wish more people were organized. I try really hard to be organized, but it's like every day is very challenging. It's a lot of work to set it up initially and then have the patience, I guess, to do it every day. Just got to do it every day, right?
Starting point is 00:32:38 Yeah. So Evan tells me, yeah. It's just, it's the hardest part is setting the system up. And once the system's up, then you can just start working in it. Yeah. And then once you start working it, I change it. Yeah, exactly. No, I know.
Starting point is 00:32:47 Evan and I changed our Trello board again. And I actually added another Trello board. It's a whole new board for the community team stuff that we're working on. So, you know, big, big changes happening. Yeah. And then the server, wink, wink, nudge. But I think any job, but I think especially like product marketing, you have to be very organized, right? Yeah, we do have to be very organized, right?
Starting point is 00:33:06 Yeah. we do have to talk to a lot of teams, different teams, engineering teams, program management teams. Every team, yeah. I probably talk to every team, every other team more than my own team members. Even customer service. Yeah, yeah. Everyone.
Starting point is 00:33:24 Yeah, so it is important to stay organized. The only team she doesn't talk to is social media. I know. Stay away. She asked me, actually when I asked her about the podcast the other day, I saw that the last message she sent me was in like October of like last year
Starting point is 00:33:40 She said hey A survey Yeah yeah She asked her survey She said alright great I'll get back to you And she never did So I'm assuming
Starting point is 00:33:47 It wasn't that important Of a question to ask No I think I probably has I've been now That's funny Another question here From Dark Destiny
Starting point is 00:33:57 What are your favorite What are your favorite memories From working at NZXT? Favorite memories launching the RGB and fan controller that was the most painful I have to be honest
Starting point is 00:34:14 I think we had more before when the company got so big because now there's so many people it's not not fun I just feel like I don't have as much time to kind of like socialize with everyone
Starting point is 00:34:28 there's definitely there's definitely more work and there's more people to like remember their names yeah There's a lot more people now. But I still think it's fun, but you're right. I think it was a lot different back then, though,
Starting point is 00:34:42 because we could basically do whatever we wanted. Yeah, we were forced to work really closely with each other. Like, you know, everyone was in one room. Yeah, everyone just had meeting together, like, all that was. And there was like, there was no human resources. There was nothing like that. It was just like, you know, just what do you get, where are we doing today? All right.
Starting point is 00:35:06 Let's do it. Yeah. Let's get it done. Group meeting. Okay, good. Let's go. Meeting, sure. I think it's still kind of like that though, but just kind of different.
Starting point is 00:35:16 Yeah. I think like everyone's still having fun. Everyone still more or less does what they want. But our teams individually are bigger. So now like we spend more time with our teams. Yeah. I mean, like eventually we'll, you know, I'm sure we're good to a point where like we're so big that you want to really interact with the people who are like that you're directly. That you don't.
Starting point is 00:35:33 Right. Yeah. Because like, I mean, if, you know, If I wasn't working in social media, I would never go to the back warehouse and, like, you know, say how to the builders. Because, like, I'll get, like, stuck on something. And I'll try to think, like, something that's funny or a good post. And I'm like, let me go see what the builder's up to. There's always something weird going on in there.
Starting point is 00:35:48 And I get an idea and I walk back to my, to my desk. I think that'll never, the fun will never change because, I mean, just look at, like, what's happening right now. Like, Johnny didn't like the way the office was set up without you move. So, like, you literally, okay, this changes. So we have more fun in here. And that's literally what we're doing right now. I was like we're fixing stuff so we could have more fun. And that could be a lot of things, you know, for example, painting the walls purple,
Starting point is 00:36:14 putting putchy art on the walls. Even saying like the fact that, you know, we can have this podcast room that's, you know, it's just fun. It's nice. Thank you. Shout out to Ed for painting the edges so perfectly. It is perfect. Bigups to Ed. Dark Destiny wants to know also.
Starting point is 00:36:30 Are you allowed to play games any time during work? Good question. There is no role that we can't. And I do have to do a lot of product testing. So I do sometimes, not every day. I always see you play on your phone. I stop playing my phone games. You play a lot of mobile games, right?
Starting point is 00:36:52 I've been, I haven't been playing as much. I play Sum-Sum. I've been spending too much on phone games. How much have you spent on phone games? I think I spent over 100 on Pokemon Go at least. I probably spent over a thousand. total over the years over the years how many years too just like this year in 2020 just right now Alan wants to know what has been the hardest product to market that's kind of a kind of a broad question too
Starting point is 00:37:26 which is a broad question because like marketing can mean a lot of things right I think the the fans are pretty hard to market actually which fans are gb or the regular regular our regular Air P&A fans. Why is that? In your opinion. I think one, it's not like common knowledge. Airflow doesn't exist, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:50 So it's, it kind of takes a lot to explain to customers why, why, where the value is at, I guess. In a fan, yeah. So it's kind of hard to sometimes accept. Explain what features it has actually because fans in general is just a fan, right, to people. So it's kind of harder to explain. The thing that bugs me about fans is I remember we used to just make all white fans and people would be like, can you guys please make them black? And then we make them black and everyone goes like, can you please make them white?
Starting point is 00:38:33 And it's like, what do you want? Yeah, I think fans are definitely hard because, like, I mean, I know like what brands of fans are quote unquote the best, but I don't know why, right? And what tells me, oh, just buy a bunch of not to have fans. I'm like those ugly brown and like beige fans, okay, you know, they're the best. They are the best. Yeah, but then there's also stupid expensive, right? So it's like, you want the best? You pay for it, man.
Starting point is 00:38:57 Right. But it's the thing they're right. It's like, you want me to spend all this money on these fans, which everyone says they're the best. And, you know, we can say they're the best. But then I don't really know why, right? And it's like, oh, it just moves air better. Like, okay, like, the bearings, the blades. Yeah, right.
Starting point is 00:39:11 And I think, and I think for a lot of people, it's kind of the same case, right? Like, especially if you're not like super, I'm not going to say that, like, I'm not into building. I love building, but I also don't go, like, super fine into every single detail, right? Like, for example, I'm not, I'm not like a PSUG guy, right? That's like, who? Who? Huh? What?
Starting point is 00:39:29 You know, who's like, oh, you know, the rails and this one are off, but like five, five megavolts. I'm like, okay, I'm like, this is the wattage that I need for the computer that I'm building. This is a brand that I know it's not going to explode on me. All right, let's go, right? And I think for general people, they say, those ask which fan is the best? And people will say, this fan or this fan. They go, okay. And then they choose one.
Starting point is 00:39:52 Yeah, yeah. It's a very brand, brand heavy. Brand heavy, yeah, product. So it is more difficult. And also I think fans is kind of. kind of weird because when you buy a computer case, well, at least from us, other companies too, but it already comes with fans. The fans that they come with, they're more than perfectly fine. Like, why do I need? Yeah, they're fine. They're not great. They're not the best, but they're
Starting point is 00:40:17 fine. Not everyone knows what that means, though. Exactly. What's better, you know? Yeah. Like, for me, like, for what I use my computers for, the case fans that come with perfectly fine. Yeah. I'm just lazy that I want to go through the hassle of changing, stopping on fans. but I know there's people out there like they're obsessed with airflow for some reason like they want to have more airflow when they already have enough yeah I don't know what they're doing with their computer literally is such a thing as too much airflow I'm just going to out there. Nibler wants to know is there a difference between a product manager and a product marketing
Starting point is 00:40:52 manager oh good question that's a good question um should ask Google that yeah there there is um I would say for our i think it differs it differs based on which company you're at so it's kind of a company preference how they call their PMSs or PMSs but typically i think product marketing managers probably more focused on
Starting point is 00:41:20 the marketing aspect so mostly around you know launch time they'll start planning things kind of from there for the marketing aspect but for us we also handle the production you know the concept and things like that so we kind of cover the full range right but it does differ from company to company which section perhaps you know how
Starting point is 00:41:50 it depends on how I guess detail they break down each PM or PM's job and you're right I think job titles very greatly not just that job title but any job title varies greatly by company. For example, there's people that work here when they see how we run community and social media. They're like, I've never worked at a company that does it this way. Yeah. And I tell them, you know, yeah, that's exactly right.
Starting point is 00:42:20 So we're winning. You do it. The exact opposite, you know. But I think it goes with any job title, even like the job title CEO, I'm sure like our CEO is very different than other CEOs. At least in my experience, like I've never even, you know, met the CEO, let alone, you know, have him call me in the 7 in the morning and talk about a tweet, you know, things like that. So I think, yeah, like it varies by by company, but, you know, I think with the question Nibbler is asking could be better defined by literally just Googling that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:56 Because it's kind of hard to say, I think, for us, because we do things differently here. Yeah. We think differently. I actually have a follow-up question from Nibler about this. Is there any product that you wish you marketed differently? It doesn't need to be NZXT. But I think that question is more directed to turn than ZXT. So is there a product that you wish that we have marketed differently?
Starting point is 00:43:17 Hmm. Hmm. It's actually a good question. Thanks, Nibler. That's hard. I have to think about it. Just say Cam. It's always Cam.
Starting point is 00:43:31 Do you have a blame Cam image on? I love Cam, I just like, Cam is just like the easiest, like punchline ever. Yeah. It's very low-hanging fruit. I think Manta we could have done a little different. Really? I feel like Manta, we went like overboard with everything.
Starting point is 00:43:49 We were overboard, but I feel like it wasn't very clear. Because it was the first ITX we had. Yeah. I think so. I remember Manta. When we launched Manta, we flew to Las Vegas, rented a racetrack, had like this press conference where we like unveiled Manta like a race car.
Starting point is 00:44:10 Oh, I remember that. Yeah, then we did a wrap on it too. We had all these reviewers like from like Linus Tech Tips and, you know, everywhere else. And then we were like, all right, now we're going to go race cars with their brand new Manta. Yeah. And then everyone's question was, why is it so big? That's still my favorite case.
Starting point is 00:44:30 I love that case. I still use it at home. It's a cool looking case. There are a lot of, every now, then we'll get like a really cool image on like Instagram or something or Facebook as someone
Starting point is 00:44:39 who's still using the Manta. Yeah. They're great. Okay. Other questions. Making a little bit of a pivot here. Dark Destiny. What's a country or place you want to visit the most?
Starting point is 00:44:51 That's a good one. Ooh. I don't have a specific country, but I want to go Europe and look at the, architecture there. So you can think of an idea for a new hub controller.
Starting point is 00:45:06 Apple Tower. Apple Tower shaped. Sistine Chapel case wrap. That should be kind of dope. Alan wants to know, what is the best sandwich? Oh, I don't like sandwiches. What? She only likes eggs.
Starting point is 00:45:21 Yeah, I like eggs. Single hard-boiled eggs. I'm about to pick tuna sandwich. That's literally the worst sandwich. I'll tell you, why? Why? Tuna's gross.
Starting point is 00:45:33 Because any meat that you can get from a can should not be eaten by a human. I always trip out when I go down the tuna aisle and I see like, you know, canned chicken, canned sardines, canned salmon, all this stuff. I'm like, how is that even possible? Like, how does this not go bad? How can this can of tuna last years in the shelf and, like, not go bad?
Starting point is 00:45:58 I don't know. It just crosses me out. I know is that every single survival game of ever played has had cans of tuna and they saved my life every single time. I'm sure if you need it to eat it. If you need it to eat it, I'm sure you could. Then that means she's good enough for human consumption, right? If they can withstand the apocalypse.
Starting point is 00:46:16 There's a big difference between eating tuna from a can and ordering like bluefin tuna at a sushi restaurant. Yeah, but they're also prepared differently too. Yeah, one's good and one's not. And also the tuna that I ordered a restaurant doesn't come with extra bits of dolphins. Alan wants to know Did you miss
Starting point is 00:46:32 Do you miss Mr. Peanut already? Rip. Yeah. I don't really get that whole thing. For those of those I don't know Mr. Peanut sacrificed himself yesterday. For the good of the homies. Yeah, it's kind of weird.
Starting point is 00:46:47 I don't really get it. It is weird. I like Mr. Peanut because He's funny. Planters does a good job It just being weird. Yeah. It's funny.
Starting point is 00:46:57 It's just a meme. Yeah. But then they killed their mascot, so it's like, okay. What did he come back? You know he's going to come back. Do you think he doesn't come back with like a robot arm or something? He'll come back for sure. You can't kill Mr. Peanut.
Starting point is 00:47:11 Mr. Steelnut or something, he'll be like made out of the middle. He'd be a cyborg peanut with like a red laser eyes. Mr. Walnut. Mr. Walnut. Ooh, maybe it's time for another nut to make it work. Mr. Almond? What could it be? Mr. Cashew?
Starting point is 00:47:26 Mr. Pistachio. That's like a lot. Mr. Moustachio Pistachio. That's a good one. It's actually Andy with his mustache. Mustachio. Have you seen Andy's mustache? Andy's new mustache is pretty lit, not going to lie.
Starting point is 00:47:44 Just if you haven't, then... I'll go take a look. No, don't. Save yourself. Don't. You don't want to do it. Dirk Destiny, When are all inactive newbies getting kicked?
Starting point is 00:47:54 They're AK active right now. Why are you looking at these things? What's the question? Their destiny When are When are inactive newbies getting kicked They're 8K active right now We purge the server
Starting point is 00:48:07 At the end of every month So You have good numbers Yeah if they're not active They will get kicked eventually And then they can always rejoin Also mind your business Their destiny
Starting point is 00:48:19 Which Hyper Beast case was your favorite None of them No I like the Rocket League case With the weird wheels. I got in trouble for making that one. I was really?
Starting point is 00:48:33 I'm not in trouble, but my boss was like, how much of that thing cost? I spent like over $1,000 getting that thing made. It's like baby stroller wheels on it. Just a flag alone, I think I'd pay like $35 for, but it's awesome. What's your favorite, Iberbe's case?
Starting point is 00:48:53 Here's a picture right now on the Discord, you haven't seen the Rocket League case. Yeah, it's pretty, pretty funky looking. Yeah, I spent over a thousand dollars getting that thing made. Thousand dollars. Well, first of all, I had to get, well, so that's how I met the guy that currently wraps our cases for like, like, for example, the snow giving PC we just did. Same guy that, so this guy, his name is Sharkbait, he has a company called Sharkbait Design Works, and he paints, they specialize in painting remote-controlled boats. Okay, interesting.
Starting point is 00:49:30 Yeah, and that's why I met the guy I saw his work and I was like, man, that should hire this guy to, like, paint a really cool Rocket League case. And then Remus, CS, he's the guy that kind of helped me put everything together with the glasses and the logos.
Starting point is 00:49:49 Those are baby stroller wheels from, I think, two separate baby strollers because they're different sizes. Oh, they're from actual babies. Yeah. And then we put a license plate on. it. Yeah, it's kind of weird looking.
Starting point is 00:50:03 All right. We never answered a favorite, favorite case or guess favorite, which hybrid piece was your favorite? She said neither. Neither? Got them. What do you do with your stickers? Dark Destiny again.
Starting point is 00:50:17 You put them everywhere on the walls. You vandalize private property and take a picture and then you hashtag NGXT club and then NGXT likes comments and retweets and then you get free clout. And your friends are like, what? NZXT liked your reply? No way. Well, they actually answered? And then, yeah, and then hopefully you don't get in trouble.
Starting point is 00:50:39 Tropicana Orange Juice wants to know. What are your guys' favorite cartoons? Kids and adult cartoons. Family guy. Sing the theme song. No, I don't want to say. I almost got checked. Mine's the Simpsons.
Starting point is 00:50:57 Mine's a king of the hill King of the Hill King of the Hill is great That's a great anime It is ahead of its time Favorite kid show We've up the Hill At Ed and Eddie
Starting point is 00:51:08 Because my homie Double D That's a good kid show Like kids cartoons I would say Star Wars Forces of Destiny My daughter is obsessed with that show Okay
Starting point is 00:51:21 Tom and Jerry Damn you're old The classic It's like 1945 I just be able my age. She likes the memes from it. Tom and Jerry means, he's calling the FBI.
Starting point is 00:51:34 He's calling them the homies. Next question is, when the NZXT chair comes back in stock will be compatible with Vita Gear, RGB kit. I don't know how that works, so I can't really give you hands. Probably not.
Starting point is 00:51:48 I don't think so. I mean, I don't know, but I don't know anything about their RGB kit unless it's like adaptable to any chair. That specific chair. It's the SL 2000. I don't know, for sure. I don't even know they had model numbers.
Starting point is 00:52:03 That's a little I know about these chairs. Our chair is based on the SL 2000. Yeah, all knows it is a chair and it's purple and has N60 on it. Oh, here we go. What exactly are the differences between the HUE 2 controller and the newly released RGB fan controller? Melody. The Hube 2 controller had four lighting ports and it came with...
Starting point is 00:52:24 And zero fan ports. And zero fan ports. So now we have fan ports added on on top of the two lighting ports. And the strips are sold separately. Two totally different products. Yeah. Yeah. Jeff says no mic.
Starting point is 00:52:44 Is that true? No mic on that. Oh, for the adaptive noise reduction? A&R. It does have the mics, though. See, Jeff, learn your products. You work for NZXD. What's the matter with you?
Starting point is 00:52:56 Just like, oh, crap, I better put that in cam. That's what it doesn't work off. What game do you think was a total fail this or last year? This year? I mean, I don't know if anything's really come out this year. What was the question? What game? What game?
Starting point is 00:53:13 Yeah, video game. Fortnite, no one plays that. Yeah, agreed. That is the game I've ever seen. Try to log in. It's all bots. Meloies and play games. She just plays SimSum all day.
Starting point is 00:53:26 I do. I've been super stuck on all the CODs that's been coming out. I would say the modern warfare wasn't as good. I don't think any game can really be considered a failure because even the worst game has people that love it. That's true. You know, it's just like just play whatever you like. And then if you don't like it, who cares, play something else. There's no such thing as like a best game or a worst game.
Starting point is 00:53:54 And that's what I see. I would say Anthem is pretty pretty. bad. The game's a huge flop. Then don't play it. I guarantee you there's people that play anthem and love it. I think it's like less than like 500 people. Those 500 people deserve to play it, man. There's no best. They deserve that game.
Starting point is 00:54:09 There's no best or worse anything. You know, like you ask me like what's the best, you know, pizza topping? And then I say pineapple. Then I say pineapple. It doesn't mean I'm right or wrong. It's just, you know, it is what it is. And I think everything is like pizza toppings. they're all different.
Starting point is 00:54:27 They're all different. So just order what you like and eat the slice and shut up. Eat your slice and shut up. That's a good, that's a good, I think, like saying for life, right? Eat your slice and shut up. Yeah, I mean, it's like everything is different, everything is different but the same. Stop taking such a neutral stance, Ivan. No, man.
Starting point is 00:54:49 You're more toxic. Nibbler, what time do you go to sleep? Last night, about 12. Really, been up all night. worried about this podcast. I'm stressed out. Didn't sleep at all. Probably 12.
Starting point is 00:55:00 About 12. I go to sleep at 10. That's my bedtime. Boomer. Johnny is great. Can we have them on a podcast or is he always too busy? Johnny is great and he does like the podcast. And once we showed him in this room, he said, all right, I'll finally do it.
Starting point is 00:55:17 He's trying to find a good time to do it. We want to have like a good time, but also like a special occasion because, you know, it's Johnny. It's a big deal. Yep. The big boss man. Unless you screw everything up. Will NZXT ever be more than just PC components? We already are.
Starting point is 00:55:33 We sell. We have headsets. We will be less than that. That's probably the least PC thing I can think of. He used it for whatever you want. The way the way. Slingback company, exactly. The way that we see NZT is yes, we're primarily a PC gaming company.
Starting point is 00:55:54 But we do see ourselves as a gaming company. company. So the best example of like I guess how we kind of see us ourselves is like you know Nintendo they started out as a gaming company and back in you know 100 years ago when they started they were making playing cards. For sure you told the story like 20 times. And then now you know they're making switches so like you know that Nintendo used to make playing cards. A hundred years from now. They also made toys. A hundred years from now if you know if the way people play video games is through, you know, smart goggles or something like that. And I'm pretty sure NXX will be working smart goggles.
Starting point is 00:56:29 Why not? NZX, what would they be called if we made smart goggles? Googly eyes. Gugly eyes. NZX dandies. Just googly eyes. Andy eyes. NXT's secret lab chairs when?
Starting point is 00:56:47 Talk to secret lab. Well, we'll never make anything that's not ours. I don't know. What is the question? Secret Labs? Yeah, they make sure. Like, uh... Ask Jeff, he's the licensing guy.
Starting point is 00:56:57 Ask Secret Labs. That's true. They come to us first. Is there a secret poochie that's bigger than Mama Pucci? Bigger than Pucci mama. It's a secret. Ooh, you never know. Should ask the opposite.
Starting point is 00:57:11 Is there a smaller one? Keep the same answer. It's a secret. Is G-fuel as good as people say it is from Topricana Orange Juice? I think some flavors are okay I don't like a powdery it is I feel like no matter how hard I shake I can never not get powder in my mouth
Starting point is 00:57:29 I'm not a big you know powder drink guy to begin with yeah it doesn't sound good What about chocomil? I only drink abuelita hot chocolate Hey well technically it's not a powder right
Starting point is 00:57:44 It's like in a hard block Yeah I always say it's funny like when you look at Mexican candy it always looks like drugs yeah it's like always wrapped like right like you buy like a thing of cheese it's like wrapped like a kilo of cocaine or something
Starting point is 00:57:58 yeah it's never it's never it's always like super inconspicuous like what you're hiding this candy for me? I put it in my mouth and my parents they just got back from Mexico and every time they go to Mexico they bring me back Mexican candies and my wife and it always looks like they're smuggling drugs
Starting point is 00:58:14 yeah what's your favorite Mexican candy Well, it's not even candy I'll say just tahin You can get tahini though I know but still Mexican Right That's true
Starting point is 00:58:25 Melody Do you have a favorite Mexican candy No I don't like candy Are you a sweet or a savory Kind of person Probably savory
Starting point is 00:58:33 She's an egg person Egg person Definitely egg person Egg gang Egg gang Can you get some eggs in the chat We need a A melody
Starting point is 00:58:43 Egg emote And we should call it Smelity Because eggs are thinky. Yeah, so someone Photoshop Melody onto an egg, and then we'll call it Smelody.
Starting point is 00:58:53 Oh, that's not bad. It's better than my other. Oh, yeah. A long time ago, I made a, I made a, if you go on our Slack, I don't know if you knew you can do a Melody emote. I made this thing like five years ago,
Starting point is 00:59:06 and it's Melody smoking a cigarette. And out of gold chain. With a gold chain. Jesus Christ, we have to look at this now. Yeah. Dark Destiny, best creation of Minecraft The Smelty Egg Emote Agreed
Starting point is 00:59:24 Super heavy water Do you still smoke cigarettes? No You quit, huh? That's awesome I would always bug Melody But that like I gotta quit smoking
Starting point is 00:59:31 That's good Years I've only quit since October That's awesome Congratulations Thank you Everybody should quit She quit everything
Starting point is 00:59:41 Definitely You and Shin man You guys would smoke a lot You and shit. No, it's like, I'm not saying it to like, I'm not saying it to make fun of you guys or anything, but it's, it is bad for your health. I mean, anytime you put, you know, cigarette smoking yours. Just too stressed at work. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:59 But every time I would see you guys on your smoke breaks, I'd be like, please stop smoking, please. That's good. I'm glad you quit. Thank you. Was that hard? Not as bad as I thought. No? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:10 No, like, what did you substitute smoking with? Nothing. Eggs. Working out, anything. Oh, I. I did start working out. Cool. It helped to start.
Starting point is 01:00:20 Get that endorphin fix. How much do you bench press? I don't bench press. What's your workout? I do megapformers and bar class. I have a lot of it. Mega forwards? Mega former?
Starting point is 01:00:35 Oh, megaformer. It's kind of like the Pilates machines. Oh. There's a Pilates machine? Yeah. Oh, I had no idea there was a machine for Pilates. It was just like a routine or thing. It's cool.
Starting point is 01:00:45 I think that you did. Do you guys have high-end PC in the office? Some of us do. Most of us don't. High-what? High-end PCs. I know what that means. What are you talking about?
Starting point is 01:01:01 Define high-end. What's an NPC? Oh, high-end PC. Yes. High-end PC. Oh, high-end PC. Yeah, I mean, I think people's computer is very. My computer probably has like the worst hardware out of everyone here, but it has the most stickers.
Starting point is 01:01:20 It does. Makes it the best. Once again, to my laziness, I'm too lazy to put better hardware in there. It works fine for what I use it for, which is Discord and browsing the internet. But I remember when Dennis first started, I tried to get him the best hardware possible and people were like, what is he have a 2080? 8,700, yeah. Yeah, my computer, I have a I-5-4-460 and a GTX 960. Oh, so you haven't changed it.
Starting point is 01:01:52 I'm too lazy, man. And it works fine. Like, I don't need a freaking, you know, like watercooled 1080 or whatever, 2080 or whatever. Like, I don't care. I don't even play video games on my computer. Oh, I haven't saved all the best things were. Yeah, I did every now on them. But it's like it doesn't feel the same way.
Starting point is 01:02:09 You know, like playing games in the office, doesn't feel the same way's playing them at home, you know? So I just, I skip the games to the house. I just bring my switch and I ask people to play and everyone goes, no. No, okay. I'll play with myself then. Dark again wants to know, Ivan, will you ever be streaming? Dan, make your streams EU friendly.
Starting point is 01:02:26 Me specifically, like streaming. Yeah. Once again, I'm lazy. And I myself don't like watching people stream. I think it's boring in my opinion. Like, if I, like, I don't, I don't want to turn on. my computer and then sit there and like, oh, I'm going to watch Ivan stream because I like them.
Starting point is 01:02:47 For me, that's really boring. So I don't think I would be a good streamer. I agree. And I won't make my streams EU friendly because I'm not from the EU. If you want EU streams, watch EU streamers. That's kind of what they're for. Imagine not supporting people from your country. Find your favorite EU stream and watch them.
Starting point is 01:03:07 What else you got here? Prodigy. Opinions on the new Mac Miller album from last week. I think is very good It's a nice end off It's a little sad I am not a fan of his music And I did not listen to it
Starting point is 01:03:19 Melody Thoughts of Mac Miller I don't really know Who he is Yikes It's good Cat new mods ETA When they're ready
Starting point is 01:03:31 Don't rush us Yeah there might not be new mods We just opened up Moderator applications this week And applications are coming in But just because the applications are open and people apply doesn't mean we're going to get new mods. If your application sucks, we're not going to bring you in just because.
Starting point is 01:03:49 Because then you're going to be making more work for us. I'm still waiting for me six auto mod to apply. Yeah. That would make everything a lot easier. Just have robots to everything. Then there could be no argument. I can argue with the bot. They won't answer your DMs.
Starting point is 01:04:05 Any upcoming plans with a server or company you can tell us about? Yeah. For the server, yes. So this is our second month doing the consecutive design contest, and that's something we want to do, like, recurring monthly with different themes. So definitely on more fun activities like that. Also, last month on January 1st, we shared the Pucci New Year's calendar, and that's something we're going to do monthly as well for the community.
Starting point is 01:04:40 Yep. What else? That's basically the stuff that's confirmed, but we're always trying to make more fun stuff for the server. And we actually have a meeting today after the podcast with Amanda, specifically about server improvements. But product-wise, we don't know when we tell you. And our goal is to take over the world.
Starting point is 01:05:06 So definitely we're always working on you stuff. Expect anything and everything. This is actually a good question from Dark Destiny for once. A song that sums up your whole life. And I'm going to play it too. Mine would be the re-shot music. Actually, no, I think a song that's supposed to my whole life is, well, melody thinks I'll say mine.
Starting point is 01:05:37 Mine would be Uh-huh Waiting Neutral milk hotel In an airplane over the sea I like that's one of the first thing that came up Maybe I play this song every day
Starting point is 01:05:50 For my daughter on the guitar And I sing it for her too Oh, I've heard the song before Yeah I love this song It's a beautiful song I imagine myself singing it to my daughter This is not
Starting point is 01:06:03 A circling all around the sun Anything close to what mine is You guys both have songs for your life. I love music. This is the song that I was going to play at his funeral.
Starting point is 01:06:16 He's going to play himself and then he's going to die. Yeah, and bury me with my clout. Bear me with my clout. When I die, bury me inside the Gucci store. But yeah, this whole song is it's like a...
Starting point is 01:06:26 So the story goes that his name is Jeff Magnum, the singer. He read the diary of Anne Frank. Oh. And he just got really sad and depressed and had like a mental breakdown over that book.
Starting point is 01:06:40 because it's a really sad story. I mean, it's like a 12-year-old girl who had to hide in an attic because they were trying to kill her. And this whole song is about him singing a love song to her, not just a song, but the whole album about, you know, like, yes, one day we're all going to die, but for now we're young, so let's just enjoy the moment, you know? For me, that's beautiful.
Starting point is 01:07:02 That's how you, I think people should kind of see themselves. Like, no matter how old you are, it's like we have to realize, all got to go, but we're not. gone yet so let's just enjoy the moment right yep I'm crying now I'm a crying in Main 60 Club it's funny is actually kind of the conclusion I made like last year I got a little bit of a breakdown myself and you to like re-evaluate like what I want out of life and it really just I just want to have fun that's why your favorite your song defines your life is whoop there it is so this is so this is
Starting point is 01:07:34 actually my my my son that defines my life for different reasons because because this song kind of spearheaded me getting fired from my first video game gig. Because I was playing it. So there was a stream that was happening, right? I was running production for a stream for a company. And the commentators were getting very lit and they were getting very spicy, right? This is like two in the morning, right? So this is the release of Tekken 7, which brought everybody out because Tekken 7 is a huge game.
Starting point is 01:08:06 And people were waiting for a tech game that didn't suck. and the commentators are getting very very spicy and I'm like I'm gonna play the song but I didn't play the song I played the instrumental and then when the boss man heard it he's like you're becoming liability
Starting point is 01:08:20 to the company blah blah blah and he was like I'm gonna put you on a probation and I'm like I'm just gonna stop dude like this it's not having this conversation you didn't even pay me right so anyway this is my song it's not safe
Starting point is 01:08:33 it's not not safe work but it's like it's a little spicy but this is it this is mine This is my song. I want this song to play at my funeral.
Starting point is 01:08:47 This is it. Plus, I also love the movie Friday. I can only say this is probably the stupidest song I've ever heard of my life. It is. That's why I like you
Starting point is 01:08:58 because it's such a dumb song. Wow. That is your life. My life is all about dumb songs. Melody, what's yours? What's your song? I still can't think of any. Then her song is the Jeopardy theme song.
Starting point is 01:09:12 Because she's thinking. It's just instrumental now. There we go, yeah. And also Friday is one of my favorite movies ever. It's like, I've seen it like, I think, a million times. Play the Jeopardy theme song for Melody. This is her song. Just thinking.
Starting point is 01:09:26 Just thinking what her favorite song is. There we go. This is your song. Okay. This is the song that defines your life. It's like a big countdown. Like, TikTok. I don't understand this question.
Starting point is 01:09:50 Ever gonna be a NZXT meme? An NXT meme? NZXT meme. Never. Ever gonna be a NZXT meme? No, we don't like memes. Yeah, we don't. Princess Cuddle.
Starting point is 01:10:03 Y'all like jazz? Love jazz. Gasco. Me too. Just bought a great jazz album that's been on my list. That's the one where Andy sent weird. No, it's actually an album. from the 70s by Malz Davis.
Starting point is 01:10:16 Oh, nice. Called, I don't want to say it because it's actually not safe for work word. Oh, I think if it's a... B-brew. Oh. And the cool thing about... So the cool thing about this album, it was... I forget the year.
Starting point is 01:10:31 I think it was 1976. But the cool thing about this album is that it was like, you know, when Miles Davis was a little bit older. So Miles Davis has been playing jazz since the 40s. but in the 70s he's basically improvised this whole album he just got his favorite musicians and then booked a couple hours in a studio in New York and he's like okay I'm gonna play in this key and this song I want this mood so the whole album it's a double disc and each there's only four songs and each song is like 30 minutes and it's just like each song is like a different mood and it's all
Starting point is 01:11:10 improvised and it's freaking awesome I love it yeah All right, cool. What was the question? Y'all like jazz? You answered it. I love jazz. Jazz is awesome. Someone asked Green Day or Nirvana.
Starting point is 01:11:26 Nirvana. Hands down, dude. I'm going to say, I'm actually, but I don't know Nirvana. Nirvana. Nirvana started something. Green Day is kind of like bookends and stuff.
Starting point is 01:11:37 Green Day started something too. Green Day started pop punk. Without Green Day, they'd be no, I'm just the king. and my life is a nightmare. But yeah, Nirvana destroyed hair metal, which I'm very grateful for. Dude, hair metal was great, though.
Starting point is 01:11:51 Hair metal's awesome. You're kidding me? Yeah, hair metal's awesome. It's not awesome. It's not awesome. I mean, there's great, there's great. There's great. Motley crew.
Starting point is 01:12:02 There's great songs. Some bops, it slaps. It's definitely not. I wouldn't say, you know, good music. I think it's great music. You also, you're, exactly look at your favorite song that defines your life hoochumama yeah dude that's me that's me right there i'm a hoochie mama um i forget yeah green day nirvana noody you ever listen either
Starting point is 01:12:26 i don't listen any fun fact my my high school graduation song man dennis and i went to the same high school high school by the way oh like 20 years apart is that but my my my high school graduation song was green day that that that that acoustic song they did i hope you had the time I hate that song. And I remember people were crying. And I was like, are you seriously crying at a Green Day song? Thick Milk wants to know, what is your favorite TV show, King of the Hill? Roundtable, round table?
Starting point is 01:12:53 Favorite TV show? I just finished watching you on Netflix. Man, that shows good. I need to watch that. I've been watching Jojo's. I started watching Jojo's like last week. It's crazy good. TV shows.
Starting point is 01:13:06 I watch more like crime types. Have you watched Dirty John? No. Did you watch Dirty John? I'm starting playing Jepid music every time Melody answers a question because it takes for 20 seconds. I got to think. Melody's like, I like watching egg documentaries. Well, my most favorites are CSIs.
Starting point is 01:13:24 Yeah? Those are interesting. People get away with some crazy stuff, huh? Yep. Do you think you can get away with murder? No. Have you gotten away with murder? That's what a murderer would say.
Starting point is 01:13:40 Dark X minds. Would you let PSUG open the next C series on podcast? Yeah. If you have them, if you have them here, you have one to open. You can do whatever you want. Yeah, you can open it up. What time period would you like to experience? The current one.
Starting point is 01:13:59 Whatever time period, Hoochie Mama lives in, I want to be in that time period. For me, it would be like the future. The future? Really. I'm curious. I'm scared of the future and I don't want to deal with it. I'm curious what's going to happen 100 years from now. Melody, you?
Starting point is 01:14:18 Your timeline? I feel. Thank you. Probably sometime before before. Like when? Before before? That's a lot. Tell me what...
Starting point is 01:14:31 Renaissance before. Really? I feel like things were simpler back now. No, they're not. I mean, you can die from like the black plague and... It's so simple. Step on a nail and you're instantly dead I feel like everything in the past You can look at history
Starting point is 01:14:46 And there's always problems that you just like What if it's not exactly true Pretty sure there were There's always problems I mean Problems no matter what That's some curious about the future Because
Starting point is 01:14:58 I don't know I don't know if things are getting better or worse You know Yes That's true That's the answer Are they better or worse? Yes
Starting point is 01:15:06 It's inclusive work Dark Destiny What? No, someone's not on pinning. Alan, Melody. Who would you like to see Dennis and Ivan interview? Or Ivan and Dennis. I've heard that wrong.
Starting point is 01:15:19 I go first. Probably Johnny. Okay. We'll make it happen just for you. Yeah. What should we ask him? What would you want to ask them? So, Johnny, what do you think about Melody?
Starting point is 01:15:31 What's his least favorite product? Ooh, that'd be a good question. You'll say the RGB and fan control. Oh my God. That I'm going to run in here. I don't know. Oh, we ever let that happen. Excuse me.
Starting point is 01:15:45 What is the better NXD community, Discord or Slack? Slack is lit. Slack is pretty lit. We have a really good slack. Oh, it's not the same group of people. Some people are on both. Yeah, but on all of them. I'm not in the Slack one.
Starting point is 01:16:00 Like, just Slack in general. You're in there. You have an email for crying out loud. Like, just in which. Well, Melody, I don't think he uses Discord. I do. She doesn't know what Discord is. I should do discord today and you're like, what is that?
Starting point is 01:16:12 I recently left. I always don't know. He's on the phone that much. Oh, that's probably why. Jeff wants to know, does eating a hard-bold egg give you bad breath all day? That rhymes. No, but I feel like. How would you know? Because then I drink coffee afterwards.
Starting point is 01:16:29 Why is the microphone brown? That was the way after. Tom wants to know, what's bad about K-pop? It's overproduced. It's super fake. It's probably the, the guys are too common. The, the, freaking, the posters. The posters.
Starting point is 01:16:49 I went to the swap meet the other day and someone had like a K-pop stand. And they just had all these like posters. And I'm just like, all these people, are these people the same people like in every band? Like everyone looks exactly the same. Was it called the K-pop stand stand? I don't know. There's like every single person looks exactly the same. Like they all dress.
Starting point is 01:17:09 the same. They'll have the same hairstyle. But I'm not, I don't know, I don't know anything about that music. I never really listened to it. Yeah. I mean, pretty much what I said. It's overproduced. It's incredibly fake. It's super superficial. It gives people bad images of themselves. It doesn't feel real to me.
Starting point is 01:17:28 And also like, I've heard some, like, a lot of really shady stuff within the K-pop industry when it comes to like the contracts and the things that people are like forced to do and how that's the, why are you even listening to music? That's it. Not even in the language you understand. Oh, I listen to Spanish. I understand Spanish. You don't?
Starting point is 01:17:44 I listen to Spanish because I understand Spanish. But I would never listen to music with lyrics. Because it's about the beat, dude. Because you have no idea what they're saying. What is they're saying? Don't they play K-pop songs on like mainstream? They do now, yeah. I don't listen to mainstream.
Starting point is 01:18:00 We're trying to stop it. Actually, I don't either. It's in Spotify. Yeah, me too. The algorithm leads my life. I listen to podcasts. their destiny who is the newest person to join the company we're like three joined last year
Starting point is 01:18:14 oh no uh felix felix felix when you join this week yeah i think he's i'm pretty sure they all join like like near the same time he looks is the newest though for sure we get an email like on friday like five people join the company he's like two or three customer service so people for like blde engineering stuff yeah it's a lot Felix the cat is a the abolo is it our abolo
Starting point is 01:18:42 Alan what does melody do what do you do melody product marketing manager great thanks for listening Andy what's your guys and gal's favorite keyboard I think already talked about that a little bit nice my Corsair K-7 is fine out of the the old one the old RGB one with the really
Starting point is 01:19:03 ugly old Corsair logo I try to change her logo then he changed it back like two days later. I'm a ducky man. Ducky man? Oh yeah, you do have the Ducky three, right? Chan 3 N6T edition. Melody, do you think you could do Ivan and Dennis's job?
Starting point is 01:19:21 That's a good question, actually. No. You could definitely roast people on Twitter. I could totally see Melody roasting someone on Twitter. It's like, what the hell did you say to me, you little? I think you could. Definitely could. If you wanted to, try really hard.
Starting point is 01:19:39 You can't roast someone? Can you roast someone? Probably. Like what would you tell someone on Twitter that said, Oh. F-U-N-Z-X-T, you suck. What would you say to them? Hi.
Starting point is 01:19:53 Hold about what she's thinking. I'd say something bad. Bha-hmm. Yeah, you couldn't do our job. Personal account, personal account. Any wants to know which products were the longest complete cases or the motherboards part of the motherboard
Starting point is 01:20:10 motherboard yeah well a lot of the for the motherboard they're waiting kind of yeah because they have to follow what Intel's doing yeah motherboards are hard yeah people ask is like why
Starting point is 01:20:24 why motherboard sticks so long it's not just like we just make it yeah there's like a bunch of other companies that are involved in the production of motherboard licensing things and stuff like that also because we've never made a motherboard yeah same reason hits it's take so long we've never made headsets make sure we do them right uh nxd manta v2 when
Starting point is 01:20:43 ask shin shin will do yeah i'm waiting for that day i told shin like one day whenever we retire from mzxte we're and he agreed to this we're going to start a company called chivan which is which is which is shin and ivan combined and he called chivon not shy of him but Chivon and we are going to come out with a Manta case style case but we really have a name for it and everything which I cannot reveal. Can you write it down for me because we don't know what it's supposed to be called? It was actually the original name that was supposed to be given to me. Don't say it.
Starting point is 01:21:21 Does it have the wheels? What? It has the wheels. Optional wheels. Podcast question. When are you planning on fixing? the ambient lights to use ambient mode when turning on the PC. NS60 staff told me an email that you were working on that.
Starting point is 01:21:38 Jeff, are you still in chat? You probably answer that. What was the question? I don't know. They unpinned it. Something about ambient mode working when the PC's on, I don't know. I don't think about ambient. Because it turns off when PC's off, right?
Starting point is 01:21:51 Yeah. Yeah, Jeff would be the best one to answer that, I think. He answered it for him? Cool, good. Someone copy paste the answer because I don't know what you said. I'm curious. Melody, who has the most lights in their case at NZXT? Oh, probably mine.
Starting point is 01:22:10 I have a pretty fully stocked RGB case built. All right, you heard it here first. Mine's RGB because of stickers. The stickers has RGB? They're red, green, and blue. Oh. I get it. What's your least favorite thing about,
Starting point is 01:22:31 building a PC, Melody. This would be just for you because we talked about this. The cable management is... Also, thermal paste tastes kind of funny. Yeah, and I have to... I have to take the build apart a lot to swap in, like, new products, so I just don't cable manage.
Starting point is 01:22:54 Yikes. Stuff it all back in. Anyone to know which product was the biggest flop so far? Hmm. The RGB fan hub controller. For me or in general? I guess in general. In general, I will say it's the...
Starting point is 01:23:10 The Manta? No, no. No, I'm going to say it's the cryo. Cryo. Laptop cooler. Oh. Yeah. I forgot that was the thing.
Starting point is 01:23:19 Oh, that was so long. I know. It's funny. Like, that's... I tease Johnny every once in a while about that. Did you seriously make a laptop cooler? And he goes, I know, man. I know.
Starting point is 01:23:30 Alan said I was going to guess the doco. doco too i would say like doco part two it's coming announced to you're live on the podcast i would say that one because that product doco great idea which was actually ahead of its time but not it didn't have enough um of what gamers wanted at that time right but if we were to do it now i think we would do it way differently um i wouldn't say it's a flop because honestly anything is not really a flop because we do learn from every failure. Big facts. Songs are learning. Yeah. And again, like if you bought some of these things, we'll still support you, you know, like if you have a problem with it. So, fun fact, the doco trailer was filmed in Johnny's apartment at the time when he was single.
Starting point is 01:24:17 It was like a, you can see his bachelor pad when you look up the doco video. Yeah, look it up. It's really, it's a really good video. Peach, thoughts on the new PC building deals. for NCXT. Awesome. They released DLC. It's really great. Yeah, that's awesome. We're actually one of the first companies
Starting point is 01:24:37 to like partner with PC building some or not partner, but like to like work with them on like providing. Correction. We were the first. We were right? Yeah. Even before, even before they were an official game when the game was still in development.
Starting point is 01:24:55 Came to us for help. No, I went to him. I sent the guy files. Because I saw what he was doing. He posted a thread on Reddit. And he was basically saying, like, how do I get in touch with companies to put stuff into the game? To get products in here.
Starting point is 01:25:11 And I just thought it was a cool idea. So I actually asked Johnny first. I said, hey, there's this guy making his game. And he's seeking support. Is it cool if I send him some product files so you can add him? And Johnny was like, that's freaking awesome. Do it. That's a great idea.
Starting point is 01:25:26 And then a little while later, the guy sold the rights to the game to the publisher. And they took it from there. But now I think pretty much every company is involved. Yep. Yeah. But yeah, we can talk about the DLC in a bit, I guess.
Starting point is 01:25:40 Yep, we can. Money wants to know. What sort of job should I get in industrial design if I plan to eventually work with product designer and ZXT? Oh. That's a good question. Well, Shin, our industrial designer, he got to start designing toys.
Starting point is 01:25:55 Yeah. And he graduated from... Art Center. Art Center. Same place Jin went to our creative last name is actually Nintendo. Yeah. Shin Nintendo. Shin Nintendo.
Starting point is 01:26:04 Started of making playing cards. I remember when Nibler came through, Jin gave her some really good advice about, like, how to get started and, like, art and things like that. And one of the things he told there was, like, take a break from school. It's like, legit, just take a break from school. Because once you start, it's like not stop. Once you start, you'll be bald like me. You'll lose all your hair.
Starting point is 01:26:26 will PSG review NSTC series on podcast? I mean, he can, but only he hasn't have time to test it, but yeah, when he comes on, he can. He'll just say it's bad. Yeah, true. What's the most selling product of NZXT from Savantin?
Starting point is 01:26:47 Probably. H500. Of all time? No, I don't think it's Phantom even. Like just one product, not lying. S340. I was going to say S340. S340 for sure. Yeah, there's a lot of S340s out there.
Starting point is 01:27:03 Elites are regulars. I think. I don't know. My theory is probably that's... Maybe Pucks. I don't think we saw that many Pucks, right? S340 is interesting because... Jin said currently it's the H510.
Starting point is 01:27:14 Well, that's current, yeah. But all time, I think just sure volume. I would probably say it's SG40. And the interesting thing about S340 is when we first launched that case. people thought it was too good to be true. So sales were kind of slow because to be true.
Starting point is 01:27:32 Because it was a $69 case. And everyone was like, why is NCC making such a cheap case? And then what ended up happening though is like little by little people started building in it and posting it like on Reddit and social media and stuff. Like wow, this is cool. And then before you knew it like a couple months later
Starting point is 01:27:49 you could not go on any subreditor or any forum without just seeing like the front page of like 20 S340s. And the cool thing about the S340 was that it's a $69 case, but people were building like $5,000 computers with it. Like if you go on PC Parpicker, then you filter by like NZXT S340 and you can filter by price.
Starting point is 01:28:12 You'll see like computers are like $5,000 in that case. And then you also see, you know, computers are like $600 or $500 in that same case. It's a really cool case. Very simple thing. It's probably some reason why the 510 and like the 500 is so popular. It's really solid case rate. It's not super expensive and you can build whatever you want in it. Melody, so we're almost hitting our hard stop time.
Starting point is 01:28:35 Do you have extra time for us or do you have to get right back to work? Normally we're at 1130. I have some more time. Cool. All right. This got through something is a little bit quicker. Jeff wants to know. Melody, if you had to choose to kill Dennis, Ivan, or Andy, who would you choose?
Starting point is 01:28:47 And why is it, Andy? Oh, can I not kill anyone? Why is he asking me this question? Jeff is a sadist apparently. It's so difficult. Why is it Andy and why is it his mustache? I'll pick Andy because he's not in here. But he's probably listening.
Starting point is 01:29:05 Good answer. I'm going to pop up a little bit some of the questions here. Jen, why are manholes round? How is this even relevant? Ask Jen. Everything's relevant. I feel like they're probably round because when you drop M80s in there. Uh-huh.
Starting point is 01:29:27 And they pop back up. You want them round so they can, when they spin, there's like no sharp object hitting you. I was going to say they're round because, because Ninja turtles need to be able to fit inside. True, their shells are round. Yeah, if it wasn't square, they would be able to fit. True.
Starting point is 01:29:43 Melody, if you were a PC part, which part would you be and why? That's such a strange question. PC part. Yep. Oh, PC part. She'd be a mustard, a mustard and ketchup and mustard cable. What's the egg equivalent of a PC part? Well, no, she would be the ketchup and mustard cable because that goes great with eggs.
Starting point is 01:30:06 Ketchup and mustard? I don't know about mustard. Yeah. Mustard and eggs kind of. Yeah, because you're cool? Yeah. Maki wants to know, I'd like to know if NZC would be interested in supporting the case modding scene. I think we talked about this a while back.
Starting point is 01:30:21 I mean, we have and to certain extent we are, but at the same time, me personally like I see no like no real I don't want to say I don't think values the right word but like if someone wants to someone asks like hey Ivan can I get a
Starting point is 01:30:40 H510 elite and I'll ask him why and they're like so I can chop it up and turn it into something completely different I'm like why would have we want that right but it is cool seeing case mods yeah it's awesome to see it's just like I guess like why
Starting point is 01:30:56 You know what I mean? But you can always email marketing at nzacc.com. That's true. Yeah. If it's a really. You tell us why. I don't know. It's up for you to tell us why.
Starting point is 01:31:03 That's very true. Yeah. It's actually a good, um, kind of leading to do that. Like, and people ask us like, you know, can you sponsor me? I'm like, I don't know. Can we? Like you let us know. It's a perfect example.
Starting point is 01:31:13 Earlier you were talking about the Rocket League case mod that I worked on. For me, I wanted to do that because I thought it'd be cool to mod a rocket, a case into a rocket league car. Right. For the Rocket League championship series. so it's not against it but it has to be like you know I guess some sort of reason behind it
Starting point is 01:31:30 right not just chopping up the front because you want more airflow it's a nice mod Jim wants to know if you had a choice between two superpowers being invisible or flying why would you kill Ivan why would you kill Ivan?
Starting point is 01:31:46 Uh why would you kill Ivan I wouldn't okay yeah because I would come back and haunt her she knows that if you can compare yourself With any animal, which would it be and why?
Starting point is 01:31:58 Why is it a penguin? Any animal. Why is it a chicken? It's a penguin because some penguins like cradle their eggs. A lot of birds sit on their eggs to keep them warm. But don't penguins like travel with them or something? Well, yeah, well, they have to because like I think like the instant they get, they get off the egg and just freezes or something. I feel like giraffe maybe.
Starting point is 01:32:20 I've had people call me a giraffe. My neck is really tall. Is that what you're always my turtle necks? The reason we used to wear like chucks all the time It's got tiny feet But you just realized you do always wear turtle neck I do because my neck is long So they should call you a turtle
Starting point is 01:32:37 And turtles like eggs too Are you a hunter or gatherer In your life? Sure Fake life too, second life Hunter or gather Hunter or gather Hunter?
Starting point is 01:32:57 She's definitely a hunter. Yeah, more aggressive than passive. Is that way you hard boil your eggs? Yeah. I'm a gatherer. I just like to go slow. I'll casually get a basket and pick berries. What would I find in your fridge right now?
Starting point is 01:33:15 Also from gin. It's all gin's questions. Didn't have a lot of questions. Guess he's bored. In my fridge. Milk. Uh-huh. Eggs.
Starting point is 01:33:28 eggs a lot of lots of eggs boiled and not boiled both leftovers I don't really know you really know it's in your fridge yeah
Starting point is 01:33:40 I don't I don't go to the market or anything we have a tub of butter that does not hold butter in our fridge what does it hold Chile
Starting point is 01:33:49 that's out of butter great can you tell a joke no Don't have any. Why was the computer late to work? Because it had a hard drive. Hey-oh.
Starting point is 01:34:07 Got them. What's your favorite flavor of ice cream? French vanilla. Butter pecan. Chocolate malted crunch. Oh. That's pretty good. Will anyone ever get a hold of their very own Pucci Mama?
Starting point is 01:34:26 I have one. I have two. Is that the black one? Pucci Mama. The big one. I have two. too. Yeah. Yeah. We should make like an even bigger one. Maybe maybe we will. One that you can like sleep and cuddle with. Yeah. Yeah. Uh, should they get a switch to put in my
Starting point is 01:34:41 NZXT bag. Should what? Should I get a switch to put inside of my NXT sling bag. Gang, I recommend the switch light because I don't recommend a switch light. No, I do. I'll tell you specifically why. Because there we go. The, the joycon on the regular switch has no D-pad. And if you're like me, And you play platform games. Like, it's impossible. There's really, it's hard to get a joycon that has a Dpad. They have them, hori sells them, I think. Exactly.
Starting point is 01:35:10 Good luck trying to find one. And just get them on Amazon. Well, the ones that have on Amazon are very ugly. There's only two that they sell. And one of them has Zelda art and one has like some weird, Mario Art. I hate the art ones. See, this sucks.
Starting point is 01:35:21 Yeah, the switchlights is way better in my opinion. The only art Nintendo thing I have out of two of them actually. One was it get to one about myself. One is the Animal Crossing 3DS. The one that has the little, like, pattern on it. It's white. And then the Monster Hunter one, the new 3DS, Monster Hunter one. That one's really nice.
Starting point is 01:35:39 Melita has a Switch out there. She's ever played it. No? Play it like ones. Yeah. The heck. Just get shell mods for Joycons. It comes with Dpad.
Starting point is 01:35:47 Yeah, sure. No, too lazy. Yeah. Too much work. Yeah, exactly. I just work. I just work. When do N60 Club rewards getting shipped monthly?
Starting point is 01:35:58 Check the rewards channel. Hey. Whose sticker entry popped out from the others? All of them did. Nibler this morning, man. Yeah, Nibler's entry today was really good. Let me actually find Nibbler's. I woke up this morning and the Nibler tweeted.
Starting point is 01:36:12 I was up until midnight working on this after doing my homework. Honestly, we were waiting for Nibler to put an interest. Once I saw it, I was like, ladies and gentlemen, she did it again. Yeah. Yeah, I love Nibbler. It's really nice. Nibler art is the best art. Nibler's, Nibber probably end up working here.
Starting point is 01:36:30 these days. Guarantee. She'll be taking all our jobs. Yep. Jen, how do you weigh an elephant without using a scale? How would you weigh anything without the scale?
Starting point is 01:36:46 I don't know. Does he have my answer? Stop asking these questions. It's so hard. Actually, I think I do know. What is it? You measure it.
Starting point is 01:36:59 You measure and then you What? Is it a volume? It's probably some. formula like that. Because I know, I know horses, the way you,
Starting point is 01:37:07 there's a way to measure the weight of a horse by size. I don't know the formula. My dad knows it. It's a formula. Yeah, because my dad's like super into horses
Starting point is 01:37:16 and he'll tell me like, you know, this horse weighs 1,200 pounds and I'll ask him how he knows that. And it's because he's a math nerd and he knows, well, it measures 16 hands.
Starting point is 01:37:29 It's funny. My dad's a math nerd too, actually. There's a bunch of old, like, algebra books. in like Spanish and I can't read this stuff. He has like a bunch of like you know. So Jin actually gave us an answer of how you
Starting point is 01:37:39 What is it? He said put the elephant in a boat and mark how far down in the water the boat went. Then put a bunch of smaller objects that weigh less than 50 pounds in the boat until it is pushed underwater the same amount. Add up the weight of all the small objects and that's the weight of the elephant. All right, Jen. How do you weigh an elephant without a boat? Got them.
Starting point is 01:37:59 Make Helen staff member. Helen is a staff. Oh, sorry, other Helen. I was like, we do have a hell in the staff member. He's talking about Nibbler. Use a bucket. Okay. Super heavy water.
Starting point is 01:38:09 How many people work for NZXT? Over 200 now, right? Yes. I don't know the exact number. A little over 200. I'm sure Jinn knows. He knows everything. Melody, I think,
Starting point is 01:38:19 out of those 200, she's probably in the top five when it comes to seniority. Oh, dang. Probably. Yeah. Johnny. Shin. Johnny doesn't count. He's the CEO.
Starting point is 01:38:31 Johnny's the first employee, man. Yeah, but he doesn't count, though. I think Paul was slightly before me. Yeah, Paul. Melody, maybe. Maybe you're like number four. Lauren was like a customer service manager, Lauren. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:38:47 Melody. Oh, Chloe has a bunch of questions here. Probably number five. Getting up there. You're like an old lady. Chloe wants to know, what's your favorite mouse? My razor left-handed death adder. I have a death adder too.
Starting point is 01:39:01 That broke. Mine is. I'm using a SEL series Sensei Ra. Raw. I have a 310 at my desk and at home. I do need a new mouth. About two of them.
Starting point is 01:39:14 Yordi Yords. My question is, why is Jim asking too much questions? That's not a question. That's kind of a statement in a question. You're assuming he's asking too many questions. Jim, questions are the best questions. Yep, because it makes you think.
Starting point is 01:39:27 Yeah. And they don't repeat. Yeah. Aim for when? What are your thoughts in the Far Cry series? I've never really played a Far Cry before. I tried to play two and they got really bored. I don't, I haven't played any either.
Starting point is 01:39:44 I'm also not a big fan of like open world games like that. Like a lot of open world games fill up with a lot of like filler stuff. And that I don't have substance and it's like, it's boring. It's it for the Witcher, which is the best. What is your favorite flavor of tea? Melody, favorite tea. You got a tea. You seem like a tea person.
Starting point is 01:40:03 Do you like tea? I like tea. Today, when she saw the podcast room, I showed her this. I just put in this shelf in here so I can put all the junk, not junk, but all the gifts I had on my desk from the community. Like on display here. All this junk from the community, they send me all the time. And I told her, well, the only thing is not a gift. Well, I guess technically is a gift because gin gave it to me.
Starting point is 01:40:25 It's this NZXT bottle. And then Melody goes, did it still taste bad? I said, yeah, probably. She's not an NXT fan Okay Question Okay Imagine NXT have not hired you yet
Starting point is 01:40:38 Tell me why they should pick you And what core values you believe your job comes with And what motivated you to take on this job Slash apply Is this gin again? No Is Johnny? If I'm not already working here
Starting point is 01:40:52 Yeah Why should NXT hire you If you're not working here You want to work? That's a really good question actually I'll tell you why because your social media sucks and I can make it better. Also, the podcast sucks and I can make it better.
Starting point is 01:41:10 You don't have a podcast. I'll make you one. You on streams? I can do that too. Oh, it's so different now. Your Discord sucks. I can make it better. I'm actually, I don't, I think if I applied today,
Starting point is 01:41:25 I feel like it would be harder than back then. Did you know, Melody, that you were one of the reasons why I work here. Why? Because one of the things that intrigued me about NZT was the graphic design. Because when I worked that new egg, one of my jobs was to, you know, manage the creative assets that NZXT would send over. Oh. For like the A plus pages and stuff. And it was like, man, this looks really, really good.
Starting point is 01:41:52 And so I remember when I met you, like someone that I worked with that new egg, Tina, she worked at NXT. She was a graphic designer beforehand. Yeah. And so yeah, I was like, yeah, you're one of the reasons I'm here, Melody. And one of the reasons why I'll probably quit. Got it. What is your favorite drink, non-o-ochoholic? Coke.
Starting point is 01:42:18 I definitely have one. Tai tea. I recently discovered. My wife, actually, my wife turned me on to this. You put tahin, which is my favorite Mexican, you know, delicacy on the rim. Of a... First you get a lemon. Cut a lemon in half.
Starting point is 01:42:35 Okay. You rub the lemon on the rim of a glass. Okay. Then you put tahin on that rim. Uh-huh. Cold water and then you squeeze a lemon into that. It's like the best freaking lemonade of your life. Seriously.
Starting point is 01:42:46 How's that lemonade though? Because it's lemon with water, which is the definition of lemonade. Lemonade has sugar in it though. Well, this is healthy lemonade. Then you're just drinking lemon water then. Which is lemonade. And also lemons... Agua of lemon.
Starting point is 01:43:00 Lemons actually are sugar. your body metabolizes it as sugar. So it's not sugar, it gets metabolized in the sugar. Which is sugar. Fruit has sugar, Dennis. Google it. Is lemon of fruit? It is a fruit, right?
Starting point is 01:43:18 Yeah, yeah, yeah, it is a fruit. You know, it's like you normally think of fruits as being like, you know, as being sweet. So it's like, wait a minute, that's not sweet. This is the way it can be a fruit. How many hours do you work per week? from Chloe again Chloe's like 20 questions Who's counting?
Starting point is 01:43:35 Just regular hours mostly. Ivan and I literally cannot count the hours we work. Social media don't sleep. You don't? Community don't sleep. Depends. Chloe, do you like pickles?
Starting point is 01:43:47 Yes. I love pickles. Pickles are a waste of a good cucumber. No. Pickles are the best. Have you had have you had cucumbers on a on a hamburger? It's amazing.
Starting point is 01:43:58 It's good, dude. Pickles are gross. I can't eat I'm nasty If you like pickles You're wrong Cucumber is good With tahin
Starting point is 01:44:04 It is That's true What is it Good with tahin Chloe What is your opinion On Kerbal space program It's a cool game
Starting point is 01:44:16 Never played it I need that Okay Who is a clumsiest in the office I would say Who drops in this stuff Well Dennis spilled water
Starting point is 01:44:32 All over his desk yesterday The first time ever been in office I've ever spoken anything. I'm gonna actually, I'm gonna say Andy. Andy is very clumsy, yeah. I taught Andy how to sit yesterday. How to sit?
Starting point is 01:44:45 Yeah, and I never realized how messy his desk is. Dude, his desk is a mess. Because his desk is always like, you know, up. Yeah. So I never see how messy it is. And when I taught him how to sit, I put the desk down. And I was like, why is your desk so?
Starting point is 01:45:03 It's like a trash can. It's like he literally dumped the trash can on his desk and he said, his exact... I said, why is the trash over your desk? Why do you have three monitors, but only two of them work? Why are the monitors all angled differently? You know, why are those empty boxes underneath? And he looked at me straight in the eye and he said, because I thrive in the chaos.
Starting point is 01:45:22 And then he's like rubbing his mustache as you said that. True story. Yeah, he said, I need chaos. He was, Andy was complaining yesterday that is back hurt. So he tried sitting down and like I look over. Like, wait a minute. Something's wrong here. He's like, Andy, what are you sitting?
Starting point is 01:45:38 And he's literally standing on one leg with his other leg like in mid air, like in a yoga pose with like one hand behind his back typing on the keyboard. My back hurts. I'm like, yeah, Andy, why do you think that is? Let me teach you how to sit. And then when he sat down, it's like, I don't like this. I don't like this at all. I think there's a picture. Oh, yeah, there's a picture of me teaching him how to sit from yesterday.
Starting point is 01:46:01 Right here. Yeah, there you go, let's picture right there. He didn't even, look how far away he was from his, he's like, he did not know how to sit. Yeah. He literally did not know how to sit. Like you put your feet down to the ground, you scoot your chair up, right? It's like, and he says, it's so frustrating. He's just so mad.
Starting point is 01:46:23 Jen's going to call you out melody. It says, when you play PubG, why do you only gather resources while you say you're a hunter? How does he know? He's never play with me. Supposedly he has the I have the info. I, yeah. I know that he's a hacker.
Starting point is 01:46:40 Yep. That was pretty bad. Princess Cuddle also wants to know Are there any remote employees at NZXT? Yes. We have several. Yeah, you have a lot of them. It doesn't matter where you work
Starting point is 01:46:51 as long as you get the job done. Yep. Question, who decided to create the Discord server? That was me. That was I haven't. I'm sorry. I regret the decision every day We're all sorry
Starting point is 01:47:02 Every day Andy asks A&4 when Listen to the previous 20 podcast And you'll get the answer Proof that Andy doesn't look at the podcast Andy asked that Yeah Oh
Starting point is 01:47:13 And I don't know Read a PR about it When Lisa Sue Unblocks you from Twitter Andy Oh Oh When Lisa Sue follows Andy on Twitter
Starting point is 01:47:25 We'll make an AM4 board Make it happen When I said asked a question but I don't see it money asked the question again then we'll get to it quick you got two minutes because we get to go I'm hungry we technically have 13 minutes left I mean I want to want to get done before that I don't see money's question he doesn't ask in like two minutes we're gonna while you're looking melody do you have any questions you want to ask oh wait we have yes sir go ahead go ahead I want to ask everyone you can ask everyone you can ask
Starting point is 01:47:58 Questions to the server. You can ask questions for me. Questions for Dennis? I want to know what their favorite NZXC product is. Everyone let Melody know what your favorite NZXT product is in the chat, please. Right, Mel. I'm showing her right now. Money, if I visit HQ, I get cool.
Starting point is 01:48:17 Can I get cool exclusives in exchange for cash? That's a terrible question. You know, you should know by now. You can't buy clout. Sure, you can. Everything has a price. Everything does. But not everything is bought with money.
Starting point is 01:48:31 Some might say you can, there's many ways to buy clout besides money. True. Tom says 700. Some people are saying Manta, H500, X-62, 700. That's a lot of 700. Best way to visit excuse to not ask for anything. True. The more you ask, the more we push it back.
Starting point is 01:48:51 How long did it take to design the C-Series power supply? That's a good question. One day. That one is not. my product. Yeah. Yeah, as the power supply guy. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:49:02 He knows everything. He made it for us. I want to say we've been working on that for at least. Probably like a year. Yeah, about a year. Yeah. I think the year.
Starting point is 01:49:15 I mean, we already had the E-series, so it's not like it was like a brand new thing we were entering to, right? Yeah. We kind of already had the important parts. It was like actually removing features, to be honest. All right, Melody. We're about to close it out here super soon, so I got three questions for you. Okay.
Starting point is 01:49:33 Number one, what is your favorite N60 product? The elite. Which one? The new H510 elite. And why? Because I can fit more of my accessories in there. I like how the panels tinted, so it's not super bright. Some people actually don't like that.
Starting point is 01:49:57 I like the more subtle. lighting look. People don't like it, they don't have to buy it. Right? Basically like everything. Imagine I can't you telling people that. I don't like this thing. Okay, then I don't buy it.
Starting point is 01:50:06 How can you treat me like that? You say you don't want it. That's very a professional for a brand account. Yeah. Okay. But you're telling me you don't want this. You don't like it. So I'll tell you then don't buy it.
Starting point is 01:50:15 I think it's funny when people tell us we're unprofessional for telling them the truth. Yeah. Like you don't have to buy anything that you don't like, whether it's in ZXT or not. Like, we're not for everyone. The same way you don't have to play a video game if you don't like it.
Starting point is 01:50:29 Fortnite's cringe, Ray. Play, you like, I feel like people who don't like Fortnite spend more time talking about Fortnite
Starting point is 01:50:35 than people who actually play Fortnite. Think about that for a second. Melody, what is your least favorite NXT product? The Century products. Explain the Century for those who don't know.
Starting point is 01:50:54 Bank controller. Yeah. Five and a drive bay. Five and a quarter inch drive bay. Yeah. I don't know. I just didn't like it. People still actually use that thing.
Starting point is 01:51:07 Back then, I didn't really understand what it was for. Now I guess the RGB and fan controller does some of the stuff that... It's evolution, right, the next step. Yeah. If NXT could make any non-computer-related product, what would you like us take a crack at? Cigarettes. N-Six-T vague. Cigarettes and eggs.
Starting point is 01:51:36 Purple eggs. Maybe. I guess we kind of do already, like, the bag, but maybe more, like, fashion. Lifestyle products. Lifestyle related, yeah. I like to see, like, a pair of N6T sneakers. Calm squeakers. Yeah, some Jordans or Yeezys or something like that.
Starting point is 01:52:03 Some NMDs to be dope. I hear Dennis coming to work. It's funny because I get here about. like half an hour before dead news. Yes. And every morning he tried to sneak up on me. And every morning I just hear him squeaking, it's the ultra boost man.
Starting point is 01:52:17 And then the ultra boost makes noise. Everyone at the office that has those shoes. Like literally walks around like a clown. I hear him walking around the corners. Amanda wears the shoes. I think Eugene wears those shoes. Several people wear those shoes. And literally everyone's like squeaking around here.
Starting point is 01:52:34 NMBs are comfy, men. NMDs are comfy. I don't want me to do. They're comfy, I know if you're not wearing them because all you hear is people squeaking. I know. All right. So before we end up, we have a couple of announcements.
Starting point is 01:52:46 Things to remind you guys of and remind people who aren't in the server. First off, we launched the C-Series and the RGB fan controllers on Tuesday. And the C-Series is a power supply. Available in what wattage is? 650, 7-50 and 8-50. Good boy. And what's the RGB and fan controller? And put up before people ask, what's the difference?
Starting point is 01:53:08 The difference is that the C series is more of an entry level, right? It's not digital. Right. Yeah. It's not digital. Our other power supply, the E series is, you can use the digital monitoring tools. See your power draw, stuff like that. Yeah, you monitor the voltages of your power supply.
Starting point is 01:53:25 It's very useful if you're into power supplies, like power supply guy. Yep. Because then you can see, you know. Yeah, but the E series isn't accurate. Talk to Jeff, fix it. Jeff about that. Depends what you. mean too because for some reason in my stream like the other night people were like talking about
Starting point is 01:53:41 power supplies i don't know why but they're like oh even you know like tools that we use to monitor power supplies also aren't very accurate so and the cool thing about the c series it has a button on the back yes and the button is for a silent fan mode so at certain uh temperature slash draw the fan won't spin in your power supply which i don't think power supplies really spin that much to begin with if your power supplies are reheat and maybe have some some deeper issues uh you can talk to a professional about that yeah you're professional and the rgb and the rgb fan controller is. Smart device, so you ripped out and put it in two different case.
Starting point is 01:54:12 It's literally what I just said. It's an RGB and fan controller. Yeah. It has two RGB channels. You can plug in up to 40 LEDs per channel, so total of 80. It has five or two fan channels up to 10 watts per channel, right? Three fan channels. Melody.
Starting point is 01:54:30 How many LEDs does the Air RGB2 fans have? Do the eight. There you go. Do the math. So five air-r-r-gb fans or four LED strips, correct? We can do up to six strips. Oh, six strips. Oh, that's right.
Starting point is 01:54:46 That's right. Ah, yeah. So up to five ARGB fans or six LED strips per channel. And you can also connect, you know, your cable combs, your underglow to it as well. Yep. Yep. Moderator applications are live. We posted a form of the announcements of the NXT Club Discord server.
Starting point is 01:55:06 If you think you can do our job better than us, please do because we don't want to do it anymore. Yep. So apply. We're over it. And then you can deal with all the nonsense that happens on the server and we'll worry about the fun stuff. We had enough of you guys. And speaking of the fun stuff. Fun stuff, yeah.
Starting point is 01:55:20 So two fun things. One fun thing is that PC building simulator released the NXXT Work Shop. We'll be sure that the design contest. Oh, yeah. Rewind. Rewind. Rewind. Uh, sticker design contest.
Starting point is 01:55:32 Yeah, it's like stuck in here. Number two. Yeah. So we're doing the second sticker design contest. and this is for the NZX team. And we've gotten, I've noticed we've gotten a little bit of confusion about like what NX team means.
Starting point is 01:55:43 It means. It's basically like our stream team, sort of. But it's, they're more, they're not like ninja level influencers. They're like a couple steps below. They're a varying audience sizes. Between Ninja and Andy. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 01:55:57 Between Ninja and Andy. So just find the sweet spot there. And yeah, you know, just design a cool sticker that we also. will turn into an emote, which is why we have the 1800 by 1800 restriction on that, so we can turn it to a nice emote for Twitch.
Starting point is 01:56:13 And you can get all the details for that on the NZX-T design contest channel. Yep. Second to last is the PC building simulator N6T workshop DLC is now live on Steam. So, you know, just like Kyle Razor has one
Starting point is 01:56:29 and Republic of gamers has one, we now have one and it looks just like our pop-up. Yeah, and it's modeled entirely after our pop-up. Yeah, Melody, when she saw it, she goes, wait, is that the pop-up? Yeah, so if you never been to the pop-up or you saw photos of the pop-up,
Starting point is 01:56:43 you can go to the blog.nxc.com, scroll all the way down, past all the podcast posts. It's also in our Instagram stories. We have all the pop-up stories saved. You can see photos of the pop-up and kind of compare. They did a really great job.
Starting point is 01:56:58 The PC building sim team is awesome. And also thank you, Jin, for helping out with that. Yep. Jim helped that a lot with the pop-up end with the PC build simulator stuff. And special, special, special announcement after the podcast, probably after lunch because I'm hunky. We're going to be doing a PC building simulator giveaway for the game and the DLC on the server. We got 25 copies to give away, five for each role.
Starting point is 01:57:26 So the higher your rank, the more chances you get. We're going to run it until, I'll say, what do you decide, until Monday? I think that's on Monday and that's all Monday. So we'll put it up today, which is Friday, sorry, Thursday, the 23rd of January, for those who are not listening on the podcast. It'll just be with our giveaway bot. All you got to do is we just react if you want to enter. And like Dennis mentioned, the higher your rank in the server, the better your odds.
Starting point is 01:57:52 Yep. So spam, spam in the server to get that XP and rank up. But then don't. But if you don't want to spam, you could also, we're also going to have a giveaway on our social media channel. So we're going to tweet out a little later giveaway, and it's going to be run through GLEAM, where the entry methods will be through Twitter and Discord. So following us on Twitter and PC Building Simulator on Twitter
Starting point is 01:58:16 and joining both of our Discord servers will give you ways to enter. And actually, as a side note to that, since the Gleam giveaway for social media is going to include joining the Discord as one of the entries, let's be great community members. Let's welcome all the new users who are coming in. make sure that they understand the rules and don't be mean to them. Let's all be cuddle.
Starting point is 01:58:38 Let's all be cuddle for a couple days. I think that's it. Is anything else who want to talk about? Also, help me find Jordans, guys. I've been asking you in the general chat. I'm trying to buy my first pair of Jordans ever. Help me out with this. It's very difficult.
Starting point is 01:58:54 The only other thing I want to say is just want to thank all the people that have entered the design contest. Even if you don't win, it's super cool to see people. participate. Just the fact that people actually want to design something for NXT in general, yeah. It's awesome.
Starting point is 01:59:10 I love that. So thank you. Do you think of the companies are doing stuff like this? Sure. Nah. We're the only ones ever. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:59:17 So it's cool to see and if you haven't done it and you want to, please do so. Because we do appreciate it very much. And the plan is, you know, like I mentioned earlier
Starting point is 01:59:27 in the podcast, we want to make the office more fun. Yep. I actually secured one wall. That's going to be a cork board. for all this art so we'll be printing out basically all the art that you guys are creating and just basically printing it on a cork board wall soon
Starting point is 01:59:41 so you'll be able to be in our headquarters vicariously through your art and we're also planning on moving the art contest to Discord just to make it easier for you guys right? I still debate that's a funny picture that by the way it is I mean so here's the thing right like I want to move with the Discord but I also
Starting point is 02:00:01 kind of want to just like quote unquote take the on this one and just leave it on Twitter and then the next one we'll just put it all on Discord so people can just join in. We learned a lesson. Yeah, but I mean, you know, it was a good experiment. I mean, we can also try like Instagram next time, you know? People are using Instagram. Nah, Instagram is a mess right now.
Starting point is 02:00:17 Anything Facebook-wise is just like I don't know what they're doing. It's kind of a joke. Anyway, so with that guys, uh, hey. Melody, stop dabbing. No dabbing on the NZXT club.
Starting point is 02:00:33 Discord chat channel podcasting. Where's the thing here? All right. Anyway, guys, thank you for joining us today, Melody, and thank you to everyone who tuned in. Remember to tune in next week at 10 a.m. Pacific Center time with the official NXT Discord server and follow at NXT on all relevant social media. And don't forget to listen to previous episodes on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcast, Spotify, and SoundCloud.
Starting point is 02:01:03 Span those nibblers. Span those nibblers. Thanks again, Melody. Appreciate it. Bye.
