Starting point is 00:01:13 Welcome to episode 27 of the NZXT Clubcast, the official podcast of the NZXT community. This podcast is recorded live every Thursday at 10 a.m. Pacific Standard Time on the official NXT Discord server and is available to stream wherever you listen to your favorite podcasts. My name is Dennis and always with me. Forever and ever is Ivan. Hey now. How's it going? Going good, man. Happy Friday, Jr. Happy Friday, Jr. again.
Starting point is 00:01:38 So, no special guest today again. What do you mean? I'm here. No special guest today. We have our quarterly town hall where Johnny gets up in front of the entire company, both here and abroad, and talks for like an hour about everything that's happening with the company. What's going to happen with the company? And then we watch the builders eat all our food. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:05 So because of that, it's just me, Ivan, and you guys hanging out, maxing, relaxing, all cool. some ska scah dude you ready for some scott dude i mean what's your relationship with scah well like you you know we grew up in the same city um scah was huge year scott was huge when i was in high school um i don't know how it was when you were in high school but i missed the scot train like when i was in high
Starting point is 00:02:31 school like in orange county california like it was very very popular yeah i like some songs um i like some bands yeah but looking bad those bands and those songs, they didn't really hold up too well. Yeah, no, they don't. But I do like, you know, some ska bands, like old school ones, I guess, madness, got a lights.
Starting point is 00:02:55 No doubt. Well, there's some cool, no doubt songs. So for someone's asking in the chat right now. So, by the way, for those who are listening right now, this is a podcast that we do every single week. We have it on a bunch of platforms, not just on Discord, so you can't listen to it on iTunes and Spotify.
Starting point is 00:03:11 and Google Podcasts. SoundCloud, yeah. Always forget about Google. But I'm not a rapper. But I'm not a rapper. So you don't have to catch the whole thing live, but one of the cool things about watching it live is that we do respond to chat and we do answer questions.
Starting point is 00:03:28 So if you ever want to ask us a question, sorry, we wouldn't do emails. We don't do, well, maybe we're all in these days, but we don't do emails. We do live questions. We also do random giveaways on occasion. Yeah. Sometimes we'll give stuff away.
Starting point is 00:03:41 We do special announcements. Maybe we'll give something away here now. Maybe. Should we? I don't know. Maybe. Should we? Maybe we should announce a giveaway later at the end.
Starting point is 00:03:50 Oh, maybe we could. Add it to the trailer board. I forgot to add it. Yeah, so I haven't put me in charge of the trailer board now. So now... No, you put yourself in charge of the trailer board. I'm in charge of my own destiny. Well, we put each other in charge of the trailer board,
Starting point is 00:04:06 and then you put me in charge of the trailer board because... I only... It's such a master of that. Oh, yeah. So in theory, you're supposed to be in charge of the Trello board. But the only time I start using Trello board is when I go on there, I'm like, why is everything all missed up? So then I started fixing it, cleaning stuff up. And then yesterday, Dennis goes, I should be the one doing this. I said, all right, do it.
Starting point is 00:04:27 Well, it's not what I said. I said was realistically, I should be the one who sets like the tasks that I have for my day. But Ivan always gets in like 30 minutes with variety. So he just like, as I'm driving, I get a bunch of notifications on my phone that things are added to a Trello board. For those that don't know, Trello is like a task management application slash website slash thingy that helps us get stuff done. Helps you keep track of things. Yeah, or not.
Starting point is 00:04:49 Obviously, as is indicated by the schedule that we're not able to keep for the current design contest, yikes. That's why I write everything down, man. Yeah. I try to write everything down, but my notes get all scattered. So, like, I'll have things that I write down and they're on like this page and things on the other page. I need to,
Starting point is 00:05:07 I think I just need like a new, a new book. Well, I, I'm saying a picture of the book that helped me. Yeah. Yeah. The bullet journal method.
Starting point is 00:05:18 It works. Bullet journal method. Yeah. Like I, I talked about this, actually yesterday with you a little bit in our meeting we had with a couple other people, but like yesterday,
Starting point is 00:05:29 like five different people at the office told me the same thing. And Dennis, Dennis was right next to me each and every single time. And what they said was, wow Ivan you have really nice handwriting wow Ivan your notes look so organized yeah and Dennis would be like stop telling him that I hate that because my notes are all over the place and I write like like chicken scratch yeah but um you know I used to be the same like my notes were all over the place and I used to write like like chicken scratch and um I got sick of it because
Starting point is 00:05:58 uh you know working in community and social media it's basically a non-stop job so what it was happening is um I was just reacting to like every notification I would get. So it's not just Discord. It would also be Slack, Gmail, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Twitch, Steam. Just like nonstop. And then on top of that, my personal life, you know, my wife texting me, my mom calling me, you know, all this stuff. So I just felt really overwhelmed.
Starting point is 00:06:26 And I decided, well, if technology is actually making me feel overwhelmed, I'm going to go old school. I'm just going to write everything down in a book. On paper? Yeah, that'll be my... On dead trees? How dare you? That'll be my organization method. And I noticed that it actually helped me unplugging and just writing stuff down.
Starting point is 00:06:47 I would remember stuff more. So I don't know. I just started researching more and more about that, you know, like just how to organize notes and how to take notes and things like that. And now, you know, I've been practicing my note-taking technique, I guess. maybe like six months, but now people are, people, I don't know, people are starting to notice that I always carried this little purple notebook with me. I actually have a relevant question here from Jeff. Jeff Gort. Has writing things down on physical media helped you with eye strain? I feel like my eyes are always tired from staring at monitors. Yes, and it's a great question, Jeff.
Starting point is 00:07:24 Great question, Jeff. Yes, it actually has helped me. And another thing that's helped me with my eye strain is I stopped wearing my glasses. So on January 1st, I kicked off this little experiment. I thought, well, what if I just stopped wearing my glasses? Well, that actually improve my eyesight. And lo and behold, I think it did. I don't know if it's just a placebo, but I feel myself squinting less. I still can't see really far away.
Starting point is 00:07:53 And like every meeting, I have to sit in the very front. I'm like literally right in front of the projector screens now. But I do feel more. And I sleep a lot better now too because I'm not just, you know, using glasses when I'm sitting right in front of my monitor. And I think also writing stuff down just stepping away from the monitor helps my eyes eyesight as well. So I want to believe you, but you're always sitting super close to like the whiteboard or the computer that we're using. I know. I always see you squitting. So I don't think it's actually helping you. I think you're going to realize that once you put your glasses back on, you've ruined your eyes even worse. I don't know if it's helping me. I feel better. You got to get like a thicker prescription. I also I also stopped The only thing I stopped doing I literally just quit watching TV at night As done like no more TV at night
Starting point is 00:08:40 Or even No video games at night No TV in general I haven't been playing video games In it either I'm downloading a game right now though It's like 13 hours left I also stopped using my phone
Starting point is 00:08:54 Late at night I noticed Yeah And I started reading Like at least one hour before bed and I'm sleeping like a baby man I go to bed now like nine o'clock on the dot wake up I wake up at 5 in the morning feeling like refreshed going my morning walk feeling good man I wake up feeling like a pretty trash I know I'll stream for like three hours
Starting point is 00:09:15 and I'm like all right time to get to bed you know do like a morning routine and I'll stop the stream like at 930 or 10 right it's like it's not really that late but then I'm like oh yeah let me uh let me just log on a quick check out what's going on destiny or whatever it's I'm up for like two more hours after that and then I'm also looking at like you know Twitter and Instagram and Facebook and stuff like that. I've been lagging on the Instagram replies on DMs because it's just so much compared to like, you know, everything else you have going on that I was like, all right, you know, I've got to give these guys a little bit of time, you know.
Starting point is 00:09:43 Kind of remind them who we who we are. So yeah, it doesn't really help my sleeping schedule. Also, the Instagram messages are all the same. Yeah. Free PC, free PC. Literally. Or like, I forget which other ones. I mean, I could go through them all and like to show.
Starting point is 00:09:58 I think Instagram is where we're. we get asked for more free computers than anywhere. Yeah. For sure, right? PC is just a meme. I mean, on, well, in DMs in particular. Yeah, I'm saying DMs, yeah. Yeah, DMs.
Starting point is 00:10:10 Yeah. So, exciting week this week, actually. In NZXT news, boot boop boop boop boop boo. Crackin Z and Crackin'X launched. Yay. Yay. So excited.
Starting point is 00:10:24 Finally. Actually, I'm excited. It's really cool. Those are really awesome coolers. crack in X, you know, it's just a refresh of the old X, 62, 52 and 72. But it's a very, very good refresh. Yes. Refresh in the sense that it's using a better pump, right?
Starting point is 00:10:41 So it's quieter and cools down more efficiently. Bigger. Yeah, bigger, bigger screen or not screen, but bigger display on it, right, for the affinity mirror. So it looks a little bit bigger, nice and deeper. It's also rotatable. Yep, that too. You can also rotate it. Hands down, probably the biggest complaint we received about the other Crackin X series.
Starting point is 00:11:04 Who was that? You know, people... My thick boy RAM is blocking my stupid cooling pipes. It says right there on the specs, Cracking requires 35 millimeter RAM height clearance. But nobody reads the specs. You never read it. Yeah. Even I don't read the specs.
Starting point is 00:11:18 So what ends up happening is people buy the Cracken and then they realize, oh, man, I have to install it sideways. And then it just looks bad. It looks bad and it doesn't. Like I always tell people, if you have to install it sideways, just turn off the NZT logo. It's just, just easy, you know, but it's not worth it at that point. Now, it doesn't matter if you install it sideways. You can rotate that, that logo any way you want. The cap, yeah, the cap rotates.
Starting point is 00:11:41 It looks cool. Let me see who just said, someone said that. I haven't said, I had no idea that was in the specs. If you go to the specs, you can see, maybe on specs in the manual, retail unit dimensions. That's kind of cool, packaging information. I don't think that's on everything. Let me see, a water block. Dimension there you go so dimensions linked with height pump
Starting point is 00:12:02 Radiator dimensions I even says in the I think you've got the manual gives you more information to you right You just buy an NCXT motherboard it won't be a problem exactly just by all in all in 16 you'll be playing to go But yeah it's weird because like the other complaint too is also just like not even RAM height is just like the thickness of the ram like rams rams Thames thick now, dude. They're adding RGB and like these giant like toothy rad eater fins to RAM, which I've never understood. And then people like, oh, nothing fits it. I'm like, well, yeah, because you're. Ram trying to act like the goat. And then Crack and Z, which I think is the most exciting thing that we dropped in a little bit, in my opinion. The Z stands for memes. Memes. Yeah. Crack and Z. I mean, it's pretty much the Crackin X, except that it has a really cool LCD display. You can put whatever you want on it. So you can put memes. You can put more memes. I guess you can display good information if you want but no one's going to do that. Yeah, no one's to do that. I mean on ours we we did a pretty cool video on Twitter where we synced up break my stride with what's going on on the crackin, which is pretty dope. Turn it crack it into a karaoke machine.
Starting point is 00:13:11 Yep. It's pretty cool. I think it's awesome. The biggest complaint I've been seeing though is just the price of the thing. It's $100 more than the, the, that, the X clouding cheap. Yeah, and it's like, well, we stuck a whole LCD into a crack in, into a water pump. It's not going to be cheap. And like, I think someone DM me or someone, they're like, how much is it cost to make this thing? I'm like, okay, well, let's see, there is the manufacturing. Cost one dollar to make it.
Starting point is 00:13:39 There's the manufacturing. There's the marketing. There's a software team. There's firmware. They're sourcing the parts. There's the manufacturing of it actually getting, you know, like created and sourcing those parts. then there's the shipping cost and there's, you know, like, that's not, it's not just how, it's not how things work.
Starting point is 00:13:57 Yeah. It's, uh, it's like a planning. Quality ain't cheap. Yeah. And that's also the, the thing too, right? Like, it's not, it's not a cheap, it's not a cheaply made like device, right? Like, it's, it's pretty, I would say pretty high quality. We, we play with it.
Starting point is 00:14:13 It's super cool. You know, the, we got to pay Jeff so you can fix cam. So it works with the crack. and that also factors in. Is that what he does? I think so. I don't know. I keep sending him stuff from like,
Starting point is 00:14:27 from like credit. He's like, oh yeah, we're working on that. Like you guys are working on everything. When is it going to be done? I don't know if I like the music bed on or off though. Chalk can tell us that they like it.
Starting point is 00:14:38 But I know, to me it kind of keeps moving. Yeah, I don't mind either. Maybe we can change music to something different. But I don't know. We want like chill, you know,
Starting point is 00:14:48 anime beats or you want like, Oh, what about like a metal music bed? I like the music when it's just you and me. Yeah, it's more chill. It's just the homies hanging out. So yeah, Kreckin, Krakken X, Kreckon Z. Really cool. They should be on Amazon in like a couple weeks.
Starting point is 00:15:05 Two to three weeks. They're already on our website and Z60.com if you want to buy them. I think I saw photos of them like in stores already. Yeah. Yeah. And if you're a build customer, they should be there, I believe, in the next week or so. I think on BLD it's just right now the 70. Let's see, let's, I call it BLD.
Starting point is 00:15:25 That's wrong. It's not CAM, is it? I don't know. I think it's CAM. That's BLD. I can't freaking, that's what I see it in my brain. I did it type it in correctly, didn't know how to type. There we go.
Starting point is 00:15:39 And also, the Z is also rotatable, so you can rotate it 90 degrees clockwise if you need to. Through software. right you can't actually yeah you can't spin the cap on the on the crack and see n n zux t nizzt nizikst yeah snoop dog found out our company oh yeah yeah nice dude i'm excited niz axed i'm a big fan of snoop doggie dog pick your price i'm gonna configure my own computer here this is great radio by the way or great great podcast by the way i'm just messing around the bill website Do you want to talk about the next cool thing that we announced just last night?
Starting point is 00:16:20 It announced it. NZX thieves. NZX thieves. What's up, boys? Let's see, XZ 73 is available right now on build. So you can pick it up if you want. Yeah, last night we announced that we are an official partner of the leading lifestyle brand and East Sports organization. People laughing at that.
Starting point is 00:16:42 Lifestyle rule. Hey, man. Clout is a lifestyle. People laugh at it, but like they do these like merch drops and they sell out like instantly. I love it. I love it. I love it when people laugh at me. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:54 It just makes me. Makes me want to like, I don't know, do more of what they're laughing about. I mean, obviously if you don't like 100 thieves. It's not an announcement for you. Yeah. I mean. But it doesn't, you know, it's like. But you can't deny it.
Starting point is 00:17:09 It's like a video game, you know, there's so many video games. Like you don't have to play every single video game. Just play what you want. Right. There's tons of pizza toppings. If you like pepperoni, go for it. But let me eat my pineapple. Speaking of pizza, do you know what we're having for lunch today?
Starting point is 00:17:25 Whenever we have a town hall, we have lunch. I always bring my lunch even when they bring food here. Really? Yeah, because... You never eat it? I never, I don't know. You know what me? I'm always doing like the opposite of everyone.
Starting point is 00:17:37 Just join us here now then, do you? Just join in. I like eating... Just hang out with us. I like eating a quick lunch, not a big lunch, because I... I'm probably one of the few people who actually eats breakfast before they come to the office. Yeah, that's true. So, well, you also get up like super freaking early.
Starting point is 00:17:52 Yeah. Five in the morning. If you don't have breakfast and you're working up at five, then you're kind of doing something wrong. Real sad dad hours. Real sad dad hours. Contrarivian. Thanks, Jeff. You're helping out.
Starting point is 00:18:06 Yeah. I consider myself a contrarian. I am on certain things, but only if it annoys people. like I like doing the Congratulations, it's working. Yeah. Yeah, so 100 Thieves, super super cool. We are sponsoring their entire new content.
Starting point is 00:18:26 I would say content house, but it's not content house. The stream room is inside the content house. Yeah, the stream rooms, all the teams. And all the teams. Yeah, so that means that we doesn't include the content creators, which are like courage and Valkyrie, even though we do sponsor them, doesn't include them because the content creators for 100 Thieves
Starting point is 00:18:41 are kind of like a separate entity. They have it set up where like, they can get their own deals and stuff like that. So even though... These buzzer some of those. Yeah. So like, for example, just hypothetically, if courage is like, eh, N60 is cool, but now I'm going to, you know, get sponsored by Leapfrog and their laptops for kids.
Starting point is 00:18:59 He can be the official streamer for Leapfrog and still be under 100 thieves and still go into their HQ and still use an N60 PC. Rumor is that Pucci is the 1001st Thief. Imagine a little, a mini... 100 Thieves hoodie on Pucci. We should make it. Pucci with his AirPods. We're in his 100 Thieves hoodie.
Starting point is 00:19:21 That'd be dope. We should ask them if they can make it for us. With some J's on his feet. I don't know if Pucci has enough, like, thickness in his foot for shoes. Oh, Pucci is a thick boy. He can rock those Jays. He throws the back?
Starting point is 00:19:41 Yeah. Yeah, so it's really excited. exciting partnership. We gave Nate shot this ridiculously huge computers, like 120 gigabytes of RAM. It's got a, what's two graphics cards in there? Yeah, two Titans, two Titans, in there. He's going to use to play Call of Duty or something. Minecraft. And like a, what's, it's like an I-9 or something or, I forget what process is in it. It's pretty, it's pretty. Yeah, the bolekema, he just posted the video yesterday too. It's pretty nuts. YouTube channel. You guys can check it out. What did you think of the video?
Starting point is 00:20:13 It was cool I always like seeing people's reactions when they unbox stuff and I also like seeing people struggle to take out the computer because everyone always takes it out wrong people don't realize yet it's very easy just
Starting point is 00:20:28 turn the box open the box turn it upside down lift up the box and that's it but everyone's like how do I get this computer out and you have to try to wedge their fingers in between like the styrofoam on the cardboard to get it in yeah that's really
Starting point is 00:20:43 exciting. Then obviously, you know, things that we already talked about before, RGB and Fan Controller and the C-Series launch that was last week. Boring. Yeah. I mean, you know, power supplies, especially with like the C-Series. It's like it's just a regular power supply with a little button to to make it shut up. Yeah. I'm going to put a Naktua fan in my power supply. Oh my God. Yeah. Can you talk about that? So, So yesterday on Reddit, I saw on Reddit.com R slash nzxte. Someone's like, hey, my E-series PSU was a little too loud.
Starting point is 00:21:20 So I opened it up and it stuck a knock to a fan in there. And now I can control it with Cam. And the first thing I thought, I'm like, how did you not like explode or die? Yeah, this seems very dangerous. I would never, in a million years, want to open up a power supply just to change a fan. Yeah, I mean, at that point,
Starting point is 00:21:37 you're buying the power supply. I mean, they're not that expensive. When I saw it, I was like, that's a cool mod. Disclaimer, please be careful when you open your power supply. And then somebody after that was, Disconnecting power does not mean a power supply is intrinsically safe. Capacitors with no load can potentially hold the charge for days. Ever notice how you can run most PSU fans for an extended period of time after removing power using the fan test?
Starting point is 00:22:02 That stored energy from the caps, which if you are unlucky enough to short the wrong one during work, can severely shock and possibly electrocute you. always discharge after removing power and always assume the cap is charging to you verify with the meter I don't know what I hate more a Naktua fan or an RGB fan in a power supply What's worse?
Starting point is 00:22:23 Probably RGB RGB fans worse Ossan Actua. Because the RGB fan is useless in a power supply The Naktua fan actually serves a purpose But it's just I don't understand Why anyone want to do it
Starting point is 00:22:35 But like how How hot is your power supply getting where you need to throw like one of the most expensive fans even if it's like temperatures aside the Nectua fans are definitely the quietest I've ever heard well yeah they're like you can't barely hear those things oh yeah so I don't know like for sure but I don't know a power supply fan has never once like bug me where it's like man that power supply fan's loud like I've never once I don't think even heard a power supply fan so for the for me to want to actually make my power supply fan quieter would require a lot.
Starting point is 00:23:09 It would have to sound like a jet engine, basically, because I don't think I've ever heard it. A fan of PSUs is worse than the fan in the PSU. That's the going mean right there. Yeah, I mean, like, especially for our cases, because our cases all have PSU shrouds, right? So having RGB inside your power supply is, like, even more useless.
Starting point is 00:23:30 And kind of, and I'll say this, a dumb idea. Like, I don't know why you would ever do that. For Reddit Karma? Yeah, for Reddit Karma. I mean, it's an interesting project. Like, I never, like, another fan's in there. I just never thought of the idea of just replacing it. To, hey, I just, I just replaced the fan.
Starting point is 00:23:50 Like, I've never, I've always just bought another power supply if I needed another one. Like, I never thought of the idea of just modding it. But now, like, now I know what's the thing. But I'm pretty sure, I'm pretty sure doing that voids the power supply warranty. I'm willing to bet it does. Because you're not supposed to open. that stuff, right? There's like right to repair laws and stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:24:10 The kind of... Is it a repair, though? It's not a repair. I mean, technically it is a repair. Not really? That's not broken. If the performance is lacking and you put in a fan to make it better, you know, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:24:21 I think that vote warranty stickers are actually not legal anymore, especially like in the EU. Don't you dare rip off that sticker or that label from your mattress? Don't do it. We'll call the cops on you. We're going to... It's not legal in the U.S. either. Yeah. I think it's more of like...
Starting point is 00:24:36 I don't know. I think if you open something up, right, and you break it, it should void your warranty, right? My opinion. I think if you modify a product, when the product manufacturer tells you explicitly not to modify it, that void your warranty. For example, graphic cards, right?
Starting point is 00:24:56 Right. If you want to install a Crack and G12 on your graphics card, that void your warranty. Granted, it's an easy thing to do. Many people do it without issue, but it does void your warranty. And the reason is because it's technically not a repair. It's like just a performance upgrade that's not absolutely necessary, right? Right.
Starting point is 00:25:23 So, I don't know. That's how I see it. No, I agree. And like if a manufacturer chooses to not honor that, I think that's totally fine. You know, like, I don't know. Like if I open up my car and I break it. or, you know, I changed something in there. Now that thing isn't work.
Starting point is 00:25:37 Like, I don't know. Because, like, you also can't really tell, right? Like, if someone opened something and it looks like it's fine, you don't really know what they did in there. And maybe it's kind of unrelated to what they supposedly fixed. Oh, I know. Touched. I know what they did.
Starting point is 00:25:50 Then, like, you know, like, how can you verify as a manufacturer that they broke it? I mean, here's the thing, though, too. Like, we kind of really don't care for the most of it, right? Like, as long as, you know, it's a working product or whatever, like, we'll pretty much service you. Yeah. Like, someone, I don't know if it was on this thread, But they're like, I bought a power supply.
Starting point is 00:26:06 It was used. And they still, you know, honored the warranty. So like, you know, I think it's more for like legal reasons, you know. Or like for like, I know, someone's being dumb. We just kind of can, we're like able to give them a no answer without them being mad justifiably. I don't know. Yeah. I mean, if we can help, we're going to help people regardless of the warranty.
Starting point is 00:26:26 Unless it's like something really, really crazy. Yeah. But for the most part, you know, people void warranties. And if it's possible for us to help them, we'll do it. But at the same time, if they void the warranty on something and we can't help them, then there's really not much we can do. Right. Pretty much, yeah. I mean, welcome the warranty talk with Dennis and Ivan on episode 27.
Starting point is 00:26:50 We're going to talk about warranties when it comes to tractors. Actually, John Deere has an issue with that right now where, like, you can't repair your John Deere tractor because it's all blocked by software. there's a like the the issue isn't even like repairing it it's that you can't even access the like diagnostics tools without having like a manufacturer code and a lot of tractor owners a lot of farmers are like now fighting against john deer um and i think they actually won that suit and hilariously enough apple joined that suit in because they don't like people repairing their their max either testes like that yeah testes like that too and i i think they lost that case i mean the the the farmer lobby at the very least is like super strong on that which I think is hilarious because like
Starting point is 00:27:36 I think that you should still be able to repair your stuff right like I'm not saying you can't open your stuff and you can't fix it right I think if I buy something right if I buy a phone and I want to replace the screen on my phone I should be able to do that right I and I yeah and I to you aside I should have the ability to do that but I also think a company should have the ability to say they don't want people to do that as well like and if you don't want to buy a product like that then buy another product. That's how I see it. But I think that it sets a bad precedent, though.
Starting point is 00:28:06 No, I think it encourages competition because then another tractor company can be like, well, we're going to be the tractor company that lets people repair. What's the problem? There is another tractor company. Man, why aren't people buying that then? Because there is no other one. Yeah. I like, I don't think companies.
Starting point is 00:28:24 I always side with the consumer. I always side with the company. The company, to me, can do whatever they want. And if you don't like that company, then don't buy that product. They have regulations on companies. That's the whole reason. There's not against the law, in my opinion, to tell people, I'm going to make a product and I don't want anyone messing with it.
Starting point is 00:28:43 Like, what's wrong with that? I don't see anything wrong with that at all. And if you don't like that, that, then don't buy my product. The problem is when it's one of, it's, it becomes like a, like a standard product, right? And then. Well, it's like the NXT Club, right? That's my product. and I have my warranty is my rules
Starting point is 00:29:02 and if you don't like my rules then use another product there's plenty of other Discord servers right that's kind of the same idea it's like I think the owner should have the say of how they how they want people to use their product but no one's buying the club
Starting point is 00:29:14 you can come and go for free at the Inton Easy Club Time there's no yeah but that's that's not hard money you're what I mean that's something different Time is money depends on who you are I guess let's see here
Starting point is 00:29:30 I do think obviously consumers should have rights but at the same time it's your right as a consumer to buy a product that you want and if you don't like the product that a particular company is offering buy the product from a company that provides something that you like
Starting point is 00:29:51 I can't buy a Mac from anywhere else right let's say Mac is let's say I use Mac for video editing right and that's like the industry standard right or like doing like a graphical design that's that's the industry standard right so i'm pretty much at this point kind of forced to buy a mac right or if i'm a farmer and i want to farm me some potatoes and there aren't any other big tractor companies like a john deer i'm gonna buy me john dear right i think no that then it's a software problem not a hardware problem if if you need the software that's on a mac
Starting point is 00:30:23 it's not the max responsibility to provide that software somewhere else it's a software manufacturers to provide that software somewhere else right so use different software there's no other software it's like use audacity or whatever this is such trash we were talking about this yesterday um how do rgb your tractor 101 a it's actually kind of cool if i just need to be user fixable tbh i mean i think i think anything should be fixable i think that a company has a right to say we don't want you to do it but they shouldn't block you from doing it I think I think that's to me is is what what the problem is right like for example if someone buys a build right it's good let's build.com and they
Starting point is 00:31:06 buy a dope computer and let's say the I don't know whatever the you want to replace your video card right or your video card fails and you don't want to go through us through warranty I should be able to replace that right you can say we won't honor the warranty anymore because you took stuff out and that's not saying I'm not saying that's what our policy is but if but you should but nx t shouldn't block me from replacing up my video card if it fails if I just want to go out myself by the part replace it yeah you should give me the option to do that you can tell me you don't want me to but I want to at least be able to do it myself people ultimately can do whatever they want
Starting point is 00:31:41 right you know like um Tesla for example they don't they don't allow you to get your Tesla service at any place that is not a Tesla dealer. Right. Right. And there's just one guy. He had a really famous and popular YouTube channel where he bought like a Tesla that was destroyed in like some accident. And he just like,
Starting point is 00:32:04 he bought another Tesla that was destroyed an accident. And he was just like swapping parts. Yeah. And he built his own Tesla and he hacked it. And, you know, he had to like track down like keys and stuff like that because Tesla would not help him. He had to do it. He had to go through all that hassle because, you know, that's the only way to do it.
Starting point is 00:32:24 So if you're a farmer and you really want to work on your John Deere tractor, figure it out. But it's not John Deere's responsibility to say, okay, we're going to do whatever you want just because you bought it. If you don't want to, you know, if you don't like this tractor, just buy a tractor that you like. But in a lot of businesses, John Deere really is the only, the only, like, game in town. And like, let's say, let's say you have like a big combine tractor, right? Like how are you going to bring it into like a service center, right? Like doesn't make any sense. And let's say I'm not a farmer.
Starting point is 00:32:52 Let's say the simple, let's say like the fix is a really simple thing. And the only thing that's blocking you is just some software thing, right? They should allow you to go in there and fix a thing if you want to. And they can say we're not going to honor anything else in it. But if you want to fix it, go ahead. I think that's the problem is that they're not letting you fix it. And they're forcing you to go to one place only to get it repaired. Maybe John Deere is smarter than the farmer.
Starting point is 00:33:14 Apparently not because it might be in danger losing that case. And I hope you do. Someone mentioned Lewis Rossman, yeah, I actually used to watch him a lot, but then his videos got kind of boring. But this is a guy in New York who has like an Apple repair shop, or he repairs a lot of Macs. And like basically like Apple blocks them like every way they can from like repairing Max, which I think, I think is messed up. And I don't. Especially when they charge like a pretty high premium to fix their stuff when. I think both should be able to do what they want.
Starting point is 00:33:48 Apple should be able to say, I don't want you to do it. Like I should say, I'm going to figure it out. Like I said, I'm always going to side with the consumer because I think that when you give a company ability to do whatever they want, they never do what is quote unquote the right thing. Every company does what they want, including NZXT. Every single company in the world does what they want. And every consumer does what they want. But that doesn't mean everyone agrees with everything.
Starting point is 00:34:15 Here's a good comment here from flip tables who actually whose name I still don't know That software trickery cost a lot of developer time equals money to lock down too Especially when someone hacks it and starts an arms race of trying to keep it locked down So that's too it's also like you know it's a waste of everybody's time right you're wasting the company's time like you have to pay someone a ridiculous amount of money to make this It won't if you buy a tractor that doesn't have those features that you do not like But they're starting to not exist is that I'm saying it's like and start a tractor company and You can't just start a tractor company. Walk outside, you're done.
Starting point is 00:34:50 Okay. What else were talking about? Welcome to Tractorcast. Hope you guys enjoy our conversation on tractors. What news we got here? Oh, yeah, news. Actually, I'll answer a couple questions, and then we'll go back to talking random stuff.
Starting point is 00:35:07 What makes you guys special for Magnumosity? What makes us special? It makes us special. the community the people listening yeah all my fans out there on the internet how many times a day do check the nx2 server I'm never not oh it's always on yeah we're not always chatting but we're always watching yeah poppy always watching you also look at our secret channel that shows everything that happens if you if you accidentally a word we can see it we're actually uh we're gonna set up a television
Starting point is 00:35:42 by our desk and mount it vertically so it's always showing the general chat to the entire office. Yeah, we started decorating the office now and like one of the common rooms is being painted purple and we have a section of the I guess you can call like the bullpen
Starting point is 00:35:58 where everyone sits, all the office peeps sit and on the side of the corner or whatever the walls that we have we're going to put up the Discord like a feet of our of our general chat.
Starting point is 00:36:13 So it's always showing no matter what's happening, it's always going to be on there so people can see what's happening live with the community. Get ready, get ready. Everyone would be like,
Starting point is 00:36:24 yeah, no, yeah. Why is this cuddl guy always talking? It's like, whoa, Cuddles being a little too spicy there. Like, who is this guy? I'm like, he's cuddl. He's famous.
Starting point is 00:36:37 What else we got here? Let's scroll the way down again. Question. from Dark X minds. How do you feel now that Pucci is so mature and grown up? I love it. I love Pucci because Pucci is something that took a long time to actually become possible. Like Pucci is something that we couldn't have made without having a community who actually would care about Pucci.
Starting point is 00:37:10 Right. So to me, Pucci is very special. And that's why he's the ultimate reward in the club because, you know, Pucci exists because of the community. And it's, you know, it's a fun, it's just, Pucci's just a fun guy. A guy? Yeah. Pucci, Pucci is everything.
Starting point is 00:37:30 He's everything. He's called my guy. My guy. It's not my guy. Yeah, it's awesome to see people, people getting Poochis and, you know, showing Pucci love. Yep. I'm trying to get pooching to the 100 thieves house right now. Let's see if you can chill there.
Starting point is 00:37:44 D. Question, does Den smell? Do I smell? I don't know how I smell on a daily basis. I shower every day. Ben smells like broke. I do smell like broke. Not anymore.
Starting point is 00:37:56 Crimson Chin. Can you guys work with high-tech low-life slash John Horton and make a sick case design? I don't know who any of those people are. I should look them up. Coffee? Horton coffee? I don't know. I think low life I don't I don't know who those guys are someone in chat tell me who they are I don't know
Starting point is 00:38:16 smells like broke yeah I know who they are um I think people asked us about like case moders stuff like that like you're more than happy to mod a case just void your warranty yeah void your warranty um I think personally for me why I really don't personally see the benefit in us as a company working with case modders is it like you're gonna mod a case you can we can't really reproduce it you know we can't really make money off of it if you want to do it on your own totally cool and like you know I mean I also don't know what what place we have in that you know like we can share stuff sharing stuff is cool you know but we don't like here take a case and like you know chop it up right put more airflow on this case
Starting point is 00:38:57 yeah just drill a hole everywhere so the air doesn't stop can't stop won't stop it and then they're going to break my airflow stride. Nothing going to slow me. Case mods are awesome. No, they're cool. They looked dope. I saw a really cool like Wally case the other day. It was on Facebook or something.
Starting point is 00:39:21 But I still think, I still think Shin does it better. What's the last time Shin modded a case? When he designed one. That's the mod. To me, the mod is the design. That's not how that works, that's how I see it.
Starting point is 00:39:36 You're seeing it wrong. I'm always wrong. I'm always wrong. You're definitely always wrong. Tractor should be repairable. Spread scrub. When will higher ranks be introduced due to the influx of champions? Influx.
Starting point is 00:39:46 I don't know if there's an influx of champions. We have more guardians and champions. Like more guardians. You have a better chance. I can't wait. I actually don't know if that's true. I would know. It's better.
Starting point is 00:40:01 Can you guys go next door and say hi to the I-by-power people for me? We moved, dude. Long time ago. A long time ago. We're next to I build power now. I don't have you have an influx of champions. I don't know. We'll introduce more stuff.
Starting point is 00:40:20 More stuff. Don't worry about it. Just be patient. Don't break rules. Don't give us reasons to do more work. And then we'll get you more stuff. But the more time we spend. We spend more time dealing with nonsense and doing the fun stuff.
Starting point is 00:40:34 Exactly. So it's your fault. It's all your fault. It is. When will, voice chat be back. Exactly. Once again, when the nonsense stops, like, and when I say nonsense, nonsense, I legit mean nonsense. Like last night, petty stuff, dude. Before I went to bed, I forgot it. Username, but there was someone in the hardware chat who was just trolling in there,
Starting point is 00:40:58 and then everyone in the chat was telling him, can you please stop trolling? And he was arguing with them saying, well, the channel description does not say anything about trolling. And then And I thought, well, just take your nonsense through random. Like, do we really have to spell out every possible scenario in the world for you guys to follow the rules? It's just like, how hard is it to be nice, have fun, and help each other. And, you know, it's just nonsense like that. Like, we deal with more stuff like that. The more stuff that we deal with like that, the less time we have to figure out, okay,
Starting point is 00:41:32 what's going to be the level 80 reward or whatever, you know? it's just some people man they they don't get it when the new ranks come out eventually will the reward be bigger poochies don't worry about that one now don't worry about that I don't even know what rewards we have right now to be honest
Starting point is 00:41:53 what about the people who join the server just to get banned Ivan they can get banned they will I mean that's your goal it's congratulations yeah see so here's a here's a thing right there's a There's a saying in fighting games, right? Which are... Get good? Yeah, there's get good
Starting point is 00:42:09 and there's let him hang himself, right? In the sense that, especially like at the lower levels of like fighting game skill. Next time just at me, but okay. Someone will eventually do something dumb and they'll jump in the air. Yeah, they'll jump in the air or they'll do something dumb and it'll lead them to getting hit and possibly losing that match, right? So what I mean I haven't always told the mods is like,
Starting point is 00:42:33 don't worry about this person, that person. If they're going to get banned, they're going to get banned, right? Like it's pretty easy to tell someone who's here to have a good time and be part of the community and hang out. And then it's easy to tell someone who's just here to be a big old dumb, dumb, super low IQ Neanderthal brain, her der. You know, it's, you know, and it's literally just a matter of them giving us a reason to get rid of them. Not that we look for reasons, but, you know, if you give us a reason, you know, we're going to take action. Still be dumb. Be nice.
Starting point is 00:43:01 Have fun. Service for fun. Service for hanging out. Service would bring cool. for podcasts for the easier solution is to just block all the mods and all the bots imagine blocking a moderator yeah that's easy and then people wonder where they don't have context that really fosters community yep that's uh you you're really showing your your your you're what you're here for imagine not using your words what's this high tech low life finished up's project at lift uh oh you mean like high tech low life
Starting point is 00:43:33 to do like stuff on the walls. That sounds cool, but like they're also not part of the community, you know? Like, for example, if you got Banksy to come in and do one of our walls, that's not really community. It's not what N60 is about. Also, who is Banksy? Who knows? It's Andy.
Starting point is 00:43:51 I think it's Shin. Shin's actually Banksy. I bet it's Andy. He goes out with his Japanese Patrick shoes, and he starts spray painting, political things on the wall. Polittle. Limited run case. Oh yeah, that'd be kind of cool.
Starting point is 00:44:08 It's like the Hyperbeast case. When will the new moderators be announced? No, no. We don't even, we don't have new moderators. Have, have we received any good applications? I mean, I don't want to throw shade at the moderator applications, but you never know. Cool.
Starting point is 00:44:29 You never know. How many app you have applied? I don't know. what do you know I don't know I don't know what I know I don't know anything all I know is how to run a podcast
Starting point is 00:44:40 back to Moss City wants to know what are your favorite genres of music rock and roll baby the new the new moderator is going to be me because I don't have the moderator role right now so I accidentally left the server the other day because I was leaving a bunch of chats because people just DM me all day
Starting point is 00:44:56 and I was in a bunch of group chats and I left the server an accident I'm like do Ivan give me the the admin rollback and he never gave me the the moderator or the staff roll which I can just give myself because I'm an admin. But I was like, oh, wait, I'm getting XP.
Starting point is 00:45:09 So I want to see how long it'll take me to get to a certain role. Grind. And I also take off the moderator role, so I don't get pinged anymore because it's, so I have moderators for it. So they can get the ping. So then they ping me if they need escalation. Music genre. Music genre.
Starting point is 00:45:26 Right now, I'm like super in a scottade, you know? So I saw a ska documentary on Amazon. I was listening to a podcast. I am a head out. I was listening to the giant bomb cast. which is a really good video game podcast, a really good website for a lot of really awesome video game content, really unique personalities there.
Starting point is 00:45:42 And they were like, yeah, I watched this SCA documentary and I went on Amazon not while I was in the car. I was at home in my room listening to the podcast and I got into my computer not on my phone while I was not driving and did not purchase it on Amazon through the website. And it's a really cool documentary. It's about the history of SCA.
Starting point is 00:46:02 And like where it comes from from like the early 50s in like Jamaica to like the first wave of Skah in like UK and then where it blew up here and like Root boy. And then how it just blew up in Orange County and then. Yeah, when I was in high school, man. Scott was big for like it was huge. It was huge. It was a minute and then it just quickly died.
Starting point is 00:46:21 It was huge. Like the entire time I was in high school was huge. Like those four years. It was everywhere. Yeah. So I was playing a little bit of that. Scal is really nerdy. It's it is.
Starting point is 00:46:34 I guess it could. It isn't, it isn't. I mean, it's nerdy instruments for sure. But some music's cool. It's like punk for band geeks. It's what I always call it. If you guys don't know what Scott is, Scaw's like the... Actually, so in the documentary, I don't know if you agree with this,
Starting point is 00:46:53 Scots a precursor to reggae. I don't know which came first. I know that's... I know that they were saying. One influenced the other for sure. Yeah. So like it was like... Oh, actually, you know what?
Starting point is 00:47:05 I think it yeah if I recall correctly yeah ska came first and then reggae started when it was like an emcee singing over the ska beat right yeah and then and then that led later on to like hip hop kind of the same deal yeah yeah yeah so I guess yeah scott probably did come first Alan says bombcast is hard to keep up with you because it's a 12 hour daily podcast yeah the bumpcast podcasts are like two to three hours long and they're super super they're good but they're just long
Starting point is 00:47:34 He also says swing revival Was worse than third wave scaw Also died even faster, yeah I remember Big Bad Voodoo Daddy Yeah I was supposed to say Big Bad Vood Daddies Although the movie Swingers still holds up It's really good You're so money baby and you don't even know it
Starting point is 00:47:48 If you haven't seen the movie Swingers You definitely should watch that Vegas baby Vegas Yeah Yeah but my favorite genre is rock and roll And I will say Some scull right here by the way For those who don't know what Scaw sounds like
Starting point is 00:48:02 It's basically like It's like nerdy reggae Nerdy punk You probably heard this He's like one of those popular Yeah Herbie fish Um You done a skank bro
Starting point is 00:48:14 You done a skank Which is If you guys don't know That's like what moshing is in ska It's called skanking Which is like the dumbest name ever Yeah That you have like
Starting point is 00:48:29 So in that documentary It's really good They have like Members of like pretty much Every single big ska band It's like in that documentary There was like giant sideburn Yeah, actually, yeah, the guy from Big Fish is like the biggest side of burns in the world.
Starting point is 00:48:41 It's like they had like less than Jake and real big fish and a mighty Boston. Safe Ferris is in there, the singer from Safe Ferris. Like one of the members, no doubt, I'm pretty sure they're going to get Gwen Stefani because she's like, I don't know anything about Skoll. I'm dating my country boyfriend or husband now. She's like, okay with them. Alcabats, you know, like a lot of the, and also like the older Skull groups like Madness. I don't know if that is in there. Scatolites.
Starting point is 00:49:10 Skatolites are in there. Skank and pickle. I don't remember. There's a lot of people in that in that in the documentary. But it's really good. You guys should definitely watch it. It's called like, I don't know what that was called anymore. Scassie.
Starting point is 00:49:22 Skah documentary. It's called Pick It Up. It's $15 on Amazon. Pekut up, pick up. I bought it. I figured, you know, like, these guys put in work on a documentary that normally wouldn't have gotten done. I just download it from the Pirate Bay. Hepcat.
Starting point is 00:49:36 Yeah. you. Hepcats in there too. Hipcats in there. Yeah, you're saying rock music is your most favorite? Oh, yeah, rock music. And I would say specifically like a type of rock, I would say 80s, 80s indie. Like Smiths, Sonic Youth, Talking Heads. But that's closely tied with 70s rock like David Bowie.
Starting point is 00:50:04 David Bowie and David Bowley This is not David Bowie at all, but still I like hip hop Yeah I know you do I have to be in the mood for hip hop I can't listen to hip hop Just whenever
Starting point is 00:50:20 Just like I have to really be in the mood for it Rock I can listen to forever I haven't listened to a lot of rock lately But there's a couple people in my stream Who will just come in and they'll like play metal music And I'm like I'm super down It's like if you if I'm like not forced but if you put it in front of me. I'll listen to it I don't it's like I don't seek it out
Starting point is 00:50:41 But I would say like I don't know I just I just really like hip hop. I really like rap You know of all kinds you know like the really dumb stuff and then they really like the actual good stuff You're always listening to you horrible music I listen to horrible music when I like a mountain about because I don't have to listen to it It's a beat you know post malone Post-millonos But like I always say my favorite genre or like subgenre hip-hop is gangster rap like 90s gangster rap it's
Starting point is 00:51:09 different you know that should talk about real stuff that happen the streets man it's street it's true um you know it's just like I don't know the beats are different you know they're they're I want to say more basic but they're I don't know I don't know I don't I don't know stories from the streets man stories from this um you Yeah, pretty much. It's pretty much it. I can't think of anything else to know. I'm like super, super slow burn today.
Starting point is 00:51:40 When are we getting new coolers? This week. Yeah, we just released them. Do you not pay attention? Make sure you look at the announcements more. Nobody checks the pins, man. Apparently not. How has someone, how has someone improved your day to day?
Starting point is 00:51:54 Today in particular, let me think about that. My daughter gave me a hug. this morning. That was cute. Did she normally not hug you? No, actually in the morning. So she's about to turn two. She never hugs you? Well, she's like literally changing, you know, the whole terrible two thing.
Starting point is 00:52:15 So right now she's like super into her mom. Okay. And she's like attached at the hip to my wife. Her mom's a fad right now. Yeah. But like, you know. Like yo-yo's come back every seven years. I would say like the first 10 months of her life, she was like all about daddy.
Starting point is 00:52:34 And now the last two months, She's all about mommy. So, yeah, like this morning. Because we're potty training her right now, right? So in the morning. How's that going? It used to be, I used to be, I used to be peeing everywhere. I used to take her out of the crib at 7 in the morning.
Starting point is 00:52:50 And then we'd like, you know, make breakfast and hang out and stuff. But now my wife's taking her out and potty training her. So after she does her bathroom business in the morning, then, you know, she goes on with her day. But she's very cranky with me in the morning. and then today she wasn't. Probably because I sneak the cookie to her behind my waist back. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:11 She's going to his podcast. I'm like, you did what? When? Like every three days for the last two weeks, I've been stopping at the store and getting cookie dough on my way home from work and then baking cookies with my daughter. My wife's like, stop making cookies and stop feeding her cookies. And my wife hides them from her.
Starting point is 00:53:31 And then I unhide them and I secretly give her cookies. I have to, man. I have to bribe that child to love me. That's kind of, it's going to sad. But in the, in other news, my daughter is like almost potty trained, which is amazing. How's that? It happened a lot faster than I thought it would. It's like, I don't know what, like, I don't know what, like, potty training, like, works.
Starting point is 00:53:56 Like, we basically, you sit them down and say poop and pee? Yes, but when you're potty training, it's like, you cannot. go anywhere. And if you do go somewhere, you have to bring that little potty. And let's say you're driving to the store and then your kid goes, peepy, pooh-poo. You have to literally stop the car, pull over. All right, let's do this. And that's how basically you train someone to use a bathroom where it's supposed to. It's first thing in the morning when she wakes up, she has to sit on her little potty. Any time she says pee-pee or poo-boo. And then you have to not, not, put diapers on them.
Starting point is 00:54:36 So my daughter's wearing like these underwear that absorb pee, I guess. And then that's how they learn how to like kind of hold their pee and the poop. And, um, yeah, it's, it's annoying more than anything, man.
Starting point is 00:54:50 It's really annoying because you can't leave the house. And if you do leave the house, you just kind of have to, you know, basically carry a little toilet with you everywhere. I can imagine, dude. Yeah. I just pee where I want. It doesn't matter where in the car.
Starting point is 00:55:07 I'm driving, Pope's at the McDonald's, you know, the playpen. Yeah. That's how I live my life these days. Yeah, but... Don't matter to me. Yeah, like, she's been using the potty very consistently. It hasn't had an accident for the last week. Hey.
Starting point is 00:55:25 So I'm thinking she's potty trained now, but we'll see. That's actually a good question. Like, how do you know when, like, they're done potty train? When they don't go at night. So at night, we put the diaper on her. and obviously babies pee in the middle of the night. Yeah, you just do it. I think when they go a week without peeing at night,
Starting point is 00:55:42 that's when you consider them potty train. Okay. So that's what all this stuff, this is all my wife tells me, I have no idea if it's true or not. I just do what she says. She just tells me what to do and I just do it. Alan is saying,
Starting point is 00:55:56 imagine having to carry two tiny toilets in the car because he has twins, right? It's annoying. And you do it twice. Or you sit here, you sit here, both you take a dump, Right now. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:05 Or we're waiting. Like last weekend, my wife said... I've been stumbling his way through raising the child. Everyone does, dude. That's how it is. That's, like, every single person I've heard who's raised children is like, that's how it works. Like, no amount of preparation is enough for a pee poop machine. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:26 Last week, we took my daughter to do story time on Saturday at the library. and then we were walking to the car but as we're walking to the car only grandparents are experts and they're horrible to listen to I know as we're walking to the car I had to go to the bathroom right
Starting point is 00:56:43 so then I go to the bathroom and then when I'm in the bathroom my wife calls me and she's like hurry she said pee pee we have to go to the potty in the car you're running through right yeah so oh man so I just like
Starting point is 00:56:57 run out of the bathroom run to the car get a toilet out and And, you know, basically sit there for like 30 minutes waiting for her to go. But, you know, that's basically how you train someone to use a restroom. It's kind of like a puppy, but way harder. It's like a puppy, but way harder. I think dogs might actually be easier. Well, yeah, because dogs are.
Starting point is 00:57:16 Dogs are trained, not trained, but they're raised to, like, kind of be obedient, you know, like in a sense of like that. So they're bred. And also dogs, I mean, you just put them in the yard, go in the grass, you know, whatever. Just put a pad there. Like, what dogs do you just put them in a crate and put the, the doggy pee pad in the crate. You can't really create a child.
Starting point is 00:57:34 I mean, you could, but then you get arrested. You should try it, see what's up. So I want to prove my day to day. Ivan, it improves my day as soon as I see him. You were mad at me this morning. You were mad at you? You're suggesting all kinds of stuff, dude. You came in this morning, you're like,
Starting point is 00:57:53 all right, let's argue. And I was like, excuse me? What do you want to argue about? That's literally the first thing you said to me. I haven't always makes my day easier in the sense that it gives you something to focus my anger on to and I get it out Take out your anger and aggression on the club
Starting point is 00:58:08 Can you use Sennheiser drivers in your next headsets Possibly Open Back from Kims and Chin That's a interesting suggestion We will bring it to our audio What's his name? Audio Audio Product Marketing Manager Patrick And let's see what he says
Starting point is 00:58:28 can't guarantee anything will happen, but who knows. I'm assuming Sennheiser drivers are expensive. It's probably why we didn't include them, because Sennizers are not cheap. If you buy good ones, they're like $300. I would also suggest listen to these headphones or headsets. They're good. They're good.
Starting point is 00:58:42 They're really good. They're asking for things that you want in there. I mean, you don't even know the sound quality is on these yet. I use them at home with the whole ecosystem. They're great. Actually, it's funny. It kind of prevents me from getting like a mixer for my stream. I want to go XLR, but I don't have XLR.
Starting point is 00:58:56 Why is Alan Amad? I don't know. Why are you a mod? What are you doing? Alan was grandfathered in, literally. Got him. What AMD board do you recommend, the one you want? I don't know anything about computers, to be honest.
Starting point is 00:59:18 You know, I'm into the day I die. I only know about NZXT. I can't really recommend anything. The way I'm going to AMD is that they bring back Athlon. that's a deep cut fraud you who don't know athon was like the ish for a bit like in your building computers I forget what generation of Intel was on
Starting point is 00:59:35 but like everyone was like Athlon 64 athon 64 everyone was on that Athlon MD boards are like the hot hot business Crimson Chin says but I don't care for high end they they just do a very good job with all headsets and such that's actually not true the lower end Sinaizers IMO are not that great
Starting point is 00:59:55 I don't think anything lower end is going to be as good as higher end. Like from people who have told me if you buy a Sinhaizer under 150, you're kind of wasting your money. You might as well buy a generic gamer headset. Skull candy? Skull candies. I remember those are hot too for a minute. They sold them everywhere.
Starting point is 01:00:12 Everyone had skull candies. And I always thought it was like the dumbest name, but also a really smart name. It's candy for your brain or for your school. You just had the logo. Yeah, the logo is really cringy too. Are they still around? Skoll candy still so exists. You know, it's like every kid who used to shop at like Zumis.
Starting point is 01:00:28 Is it Zimis or Zumias? Zumis. Is it Zimis? I always thought it was like a Hispanic person's name. Zumiyes. Zuma. Huala, me Amo, Fernando Zumias. Zumis.
Starting point is 01:00:38 And a Hot Topic that sold in there too. And at GameStop. Target? I just, I associate it's cool candy with Target for some reason. Zumis is one of those things I will never say out loud. Pretty much. You can't find any high risk. picks of the Skull Candy logo.
Starting point is 01:00:56 Skull Candy. Yeah, Skull Candy. Turtle Beach. Are Turtle Beach is actually any good? Because, like, I've always seen them as like a not good brand. I've never used one. Yeah, I've never used. But same thing like Skull Candy, I associated it with like, I always see my target.
Starting point is 01:01:11 Yeah. Like, um, yeah, I don't know. I've never tried them. I'm not sure if you've even liked their logo either, Turtle Beach logo. It's just like to triangle. I haven't used school candy or Turtle Beach. So I don't know. how they sound. I'm sure they sound fine.
Starting point is 01:01:28 But I don't know. I've never I've seen hyper-exes. I hate to the hyper-exes. I like my HyperX cloud. If it's not a USB, then it's not good. Because from what I know, HyperX headsets, is it from working in production? They're very, the drivers are very underpowered, so you need something to drive more power to them.
Starting point is 01:01:50 So now I was running esports productions for like fighting games and stuff, and you would do like a head-to-head set up. We used to have, like whatever this thing is, a microamp to plug into the headset so they have enough power so it sounds good. Because if not, it sounds really quiet and it's very, like it just doesn't, you don't get a nice, rich sound off of it. You have to power it up a little bit. I never had an issue like that. But I'm also a normie.
Starting point is 01:02:13 Yeah. You think it would no more since you are like all over vinyl. Joe Beach is a joke. Yikes. I don't really listen to records with headsets. Unless What speakers do you have for your vinyl setup?
Starting point is 01:02:26 Well, my wife made me get rid of my Big speakers So I just bought some Sansom Samson Studio monitors I don't know the model number I showed him to you the other day We went to Sam Ash
Starting point is 01:02:37 They're just these small monitors But they sound great Right But I did have Before my wife came to get rid of my big speakers I had 15 inch subwooferes Two 15 inch subwifers
Starting point is 01:02:50 Oh Jesus Yeah And four tweeters By techniques I use two tiny clips Speakers and then my My air My air hits up
Starting point is 01:03:06 My wife was like Why are the walls shaking in the entire house Because it's Kanye I was playing I used to play like Everlasting Bass Just to annoy Everlasting Base What's that?
Starting point is 01:03:17 Look it up, Everlasting Base I'm looking up right now Rodney O and Joe Cool Everlasting Base I love how all of our just solo podcast end up into the music podcasts. Rodneyo and Joe Cooley.
Starting point is 01:03:29 Yeah. Wait, is this, is it for work? Yeah. Okay. Bump it. Turn your headphones up. We're going to bump with the bass right now. Right now your vinyl and your car and your headset,
Starting point is 01:03:42 whatever is shaking. Base, base, base. Now, base low. Turn up to base again. You can tell it's safe for work based on how it sounds How old it sounds Wait wait till you start rapping Uh
Starting point is 01:03:58 Uh, uh, uh, uh Base base that's in your face Shone of shrugged your face Just like you got sprayed by a can of mace Yeah, baby So when I was in high school When I was in high school My friend had like an 18 van right
Starting point is 01:04:12 Uh huh And he had What is the singing? It's not singing dude This is old school rapping This is how they used to rap after the day He had like crazy stereo in this van right he had this speaker that must have been like 21 inches big a subwoofer and we would blast
Starting point is 01:04:28 the song after baseball practice just like making ourselves deaf everlasting bass you what's funny is um i listen to music super loud and like i now when i have music real loud i can tell my ears hurt i'm like man i'm getting old i can't handle the i can't handle the the the abuse anymore personal abuse yeah this is that people use to rap back a day like raps are really simple and basic I think one of the first Who's it the first person who come up with like a really Like fancy rap
Starting point is 01:04:59 Fancy? They fancy Well it's probably Sugar Hill Gang right No they're basic too Well what do you mean like fancy It's like a different rhyming scheme Let me see oh probably run DMC Or Beastie Boys with the back and forth stuff Let me see there's a really good
Starting point is 01:05:14 Or even public enemy It's a really good Let's see B-Barrs 1780s I'm looking at this This is a good uh mini doc on Vox rapping deconstructed. And they basically talk about like different types of rhymes like multi-syllable and like single-syllable rhymes, stuff like that.
Starting point is 01:05:29 And they're going to go to like the history. The pieces in your face. I love it. They go to like, from like Biggie M.F. Doom, like Andre 3000, like how he wraps. You know, they have like different types of rapping. They're different ways of kind of like wrapping within like a single like bar.
Starting point is 01:05:45 You know, for those who don't know. You can look that up and Google it. The basis is in your. your face. Showing up hits your face. Dark Destiny, what is your favorite piece of hardware and your computer? My stickers. My 2070 Super because it makes me play video games at good qualities.
Starting point is 01:06:08 I'm actually worried. I'm downloading Red Dead Red Dead Red Dead Red Dead. Still? Yeah. Yeah. Still downloading. Yeah, Ivan is like, I'm home alone right now. I'll play some video games on my computer finally.
Starting point is 01:06:20 And he shows me a screenshot of Steam and he's downloading Red Dead. and it's 100, 100 gigabytes. I'm like, Jesus. Yeah. It's so ridiculous. I had to actually turn off the download because the computer's in the bedroom. And my wife's like, can you turn it off? I can't sleep.
Starting point is 01:06:34 It's the bedroom. Yeah. Because my old computer room is now my daughter's room. Ah. So my wife gets annoyed with the computer in the room. So, yeah, last night, she wasn't home. So I was like, okay, cool. I'm going to finally play some video games.
Starting point is 01:06:50 I'm going to download Red Dead Red Dead Redemption, too, because it was on sale. Yeah. It's like, your download's going to take five hours. I'm like, well, I guess I'm not playing video games tonight.
Starting point is 01:06:58 Yeah. But I'm actually worried, like, I don't know if my hardware can actually handle it, but we'll find out. We'll see. I might have to upgrade finally.
Starting point is 01:07:06 I do want to play that. I didn't want to put that game forever. I heard it's really good. Yeah, I heard red dead's really good. It's really good story and stuff. It's like the highest rated PC game ever. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:15 Yeah. It's pretty popular. Um, who is your favorite company that makes mice and keyboards? honestly keyboards I can be real yeah steel series yeah I use a steel series now I use a steel series mouse and a ducky keyboard I will go for ducky but I like I like having hardware like uh I like having software to control my stuff I know it sounds
Starting point is 01:07:44 dumb but I don't like having to because I was using the nzicc ducky you know you got to hit the buttons to do different things and I'm like I'm not going to remember this stuff I just want to click on a button. It's literally two buttons. Huh? It's literally two buttons. I know, but I don't like to remember. You just hold the two duck symbols.
Starting point is 01:08:00 Yeah, but then you also can do it different ways to do other things. There's F10 key. That's it. Cooler Master. Cooler Master keys is also nice. I don't think I'll ever buy another cooler master thing in my life. In general, I don't never use them. For some reason, like, I've never seen Cooler Master as like a quality, like high quality brand.
Starting point is 01:08:16 Like, there's no knock with them. I just, to me, they don't give that impressions from building as long as I have. I've never seen their cases to be particularly like amazing or like anything groundbreaking or anything so they're just there they've been there
Starting point is 01:08:28 they'll always hypothetically they'll always be there but like I've never really seen Coolermaster is like dang Coolomaster's bringing out some stuff yo let me chuck it out I've never used the keyboards or mice
Starting point is 01:08:43 yeah I didn't even know they made keyboards and mice that's a little I know about Cooter oh so that's also how little they show up on my social feeds They get a lot of stuff on there. But I would say, like, I loved my Arc 2 7 until I got my Air headset. And then I want to upgrade, well, upgrade, replace my keyboard, but it's fine. It's working fine.
Starting point is 01:09:07 It's just, it's like the only Coursier thing I have left on my computer. So I kind of want to get rid of it. So I can just uninstall that one piece of software that I use for nothing now. I don't think I have anything else Coursier on my computer is just, It's just that keyboard. You don't even have error. Yeah. Trust me, look at their perfs.
Starting point is 01:09:29 I don't know what perp is. Y'all are using these language. Like, people will be like, peripherals? 100%, 60%, 30%, 10%. I'm like, I don't know what any of the stuff means. Just tell me what the keyboard has, and I'll decide based on that.
Starting point is 01:09:42 I'm like the preferrated notebook paper. What do you have displayed on your Cracken series? Cracken Z series, Cracken? On your Z series, Cracken, I don't have anything. I don't have one yet. I don't know if I'm going to get one.
Starting point is 01:09:55 I have a funny looking Sonic the Hedgehog running in place. That's how I feel. Yeah. We have one that we're using to shoot funny stuff on that I saw I have that break my stride karaoke thing going on there.
Starting point is 01:10:09 Yeah, I don't know if I'm going to get a Crack and Z. Like, you could just ask Andy for one. I only got one because Johnny gave it to me and you wanted me to test it. But I'm like for home, like one for myself.
Starting point is 01:10:20 Like I don't, I don't want to have to unplug everything and plug it back in, dude. Like, cable management is such a pain to the butt right now. I don't want to do it. I don't want to do it then, but I did it. I did it in like less than... I kind of went into the case. Everything less than 30 minutes.
Starting point is 01:10:34 I kind of want to swap out my elite for a 700 or 710. I have a 7. But I like the elite. It looks so cool. I have a 700 case that I don't use if you want it. I'd want a 710. I got the motherboard with a USBC. I don't even use the USBC, but it was.
Starting point is 01:10:51 work so I want it I don't think I'm ever going to have a device that uses USBC for anything I can't think of anything that I could use my phone yeah I use I use I use Apple and it's your problem I doubt they're going to go USBC anytime soon I mean they should but they don't they haven't USBC for years now yeah I mean I've been using USBC for like five years now yeah but is it like is it USBC to USBC or is it like USBA to USBC both work yeah both work you get called up on a stage at a concert. Caulup on stage at a concert. Who are you seeing and what are you singing?
Starting point is 01:11:25 Ooh. I'm seeing Rodney O. and Joe Cooley and I am singing everlasting bass. I am Huh. I'm trying to think. I am seeing
Starting point is 01:11:43 Snoop and Dre. And you're singing, I'm just a kid in my life is a nightmare. No, I am singing What do you think? I'm not saying it, I'm rapping it. And while I'm wrapping it. And I'm booing you offstage.
Starting point is 01:12:00 And while I'm wrapping off a sick seawok, you know. And throwing up, I'm throwing up, you know, for the 9-9 in the 2000s. I'm mixing things now. Actually, no, yeah. I am seeing Nate Dogg and Warren G, and I'm doing regulate. That's what I'm doing. Mowing up. mount up
Starting point is 01:12:22 can't hire any geek off the street gotta be handy with the steel if you know what I mean regulators what is your favorite keyboard and why is it a teahat types keyboard Tayyha types actually follows us on an Instagram I was at TwitchCon 2019 and I see this cool booth
Starting point is 01:12:44 oh look these nice keyboards stayha types never heard of them I'm not in the keyboard so I know anything about it I sent him a I put him in our story and I tagged like every company or like every booth that I saw there because you know I think it's kind of cool to give you know hey n16c's here and like I didn't even say anything I was like hey do you might have a particular video like yeah sure and then I tag him and then like the next day oh my god nzxc you guys were at the booth and I'm like yeah you know who I am though um and uh a little a little combo with teha pretty
Starting point is 01:13:10 pretty cool dude I think it's somewhere in in soCal I think so in cal I think so in california something like that uh yeah he said he's a fan um but I don't think I'd ever buy one of those keyboards They're expensive, dude. Because they're like, like if you want a custom one, like 2000. Really? $2,000.
Starting point is 01:13:28 Yeah. No, thanks. That's too much for me. Let me see. Let me look it up. I don't like keyboards that much. Types, yeah. I like keyboards.
Starting point is 01:13:37 I like, yeah, I don't like that much. Let's see. So for commissions, they start at $1,800. Yikes. Keyboard will be built live on, on stream on Twitch.
Starting point is 01:13:49 Assembly rates are as follows. $60 for micropads. $80 for. for anything between micropad and 60% keyboards, 100 for 60% keyboards, 110 for 65%. I know any of these things. 130, 80% or TKL, 140, anything higher. Invoice sent for build services.
Starting point is 01:14:05 Yeah, it's expensive dude. Like these are, I would never pay that much for a keyboard. Yeah, that's, yeah, that's the, our fries, right? That's literally a whole computer. That's a whole PC there. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:17 I rather buy a moped with that much money. But I mean, they look really cool though. Like, I'm not gonna lie, Like the really nice looking keyboards and they look super unique. I just don't know if I could spend that much. But you actually would want, one of those old IBM clicking keyboards, like the really old ones with like the really nice, deep, like chunky click, those would be nice to have.
Starting point is 01:14:39 They don't make them anymore, but a company does make them. And they're, I don't know what they're called anymore, but they're basically the same thing, but they're not. Like they're not, branding's different, but they're pretty much the same thing. Yeah, they're really nice and just, yeah, they're all replicas now. Let's see other questions we got here. I want to go through all these. Question for Den, who's your favorite server member and why is it Cuddle?
Starting point is 01:15:05 Great question. Good question. Because everyone's Cuddle. Who is your person on the server to talk to and why isn't me, Dark Destiny? Because you DM us. Yeah, pretty much. I mean, so any reason why. We talk to anyone who DMs us.
Starting point is 01:15:19 Yeah. Anybody who DMs is as well. welcome to and we'll answer. Can't say you'll be guaranteed with the answer, but we'll answer. Question for Dan, you have 90,000 server members to bully. Why is it Cuddle? Because it's fun. Because everyone is Cuddle. And Cuddles everyone. Money, are the air headphones worth sticking it out for instead of getting the Corser of Vitrososos. In my honest opinion, I think the Bertuosos are ugly as heck. Never used them. Someone in the office has them. Oh, does Vivian have those? I know she has some Coursier headphones. I know I saw Abonet
Starting point is 01:15:52 them once. They look really big. Yeah, they look huge. I don't, I don't like the way they look. I don't like the silver on them. I honestly think they look super, super ugly. I'm also very hard to please, but I think the Richeroso's look gross. I think they look hideous. I don't like them. Everything's a pizza topping for me. Everything's a pizza topping. I mean, hey, I'm not saying you can't buy them. I just saying they look dumb. Um, what's your favorite part about working at the company? the community. The Gabonet was testing? Probably.
Starting point is 01:16:30 He's probably testing them. My favorite part about working here is how close it is to my house. My favorite part of working the company, honestly, is that I can mess up and I'm still going to have a job. Unless. Like, you know, as long as I'm learning and I'm improving every day, you know. Are you learning, Dennis? I think so. I try.
Starting point is 01:16:51 Is there two times XP always in the podcast channel or? Is that a one-time thing? It's a secret. Yeah. What do you guys' opinions on UK music? I don't know what UK music means. I like the streets, the rapper the streets. The streets.
Starting point is 01:17:08 Look up the song, original pirate material. Original pirate material. By the streets. Original pirates. And after this, we should probably start wrapping things up because I hear the town hall. Yeah, I hear the carts being moved around. This is a jam from the UK.
Starting point is 01:17:24 That's it. I'm looking out of the questions too. Info when they'll be updated N60 cam app for mobile. I don't know about mobile cam. Ask Jeff about that. Jeff knows more about Cam mobile. Cam's a future. So Ivan always says I believe him.
Starting point is 01:17:40 Asking the cam support channel, tag Jeff. He'll know. Tag Jeff all the time. Never stop tagging Jeff. Make him be on Discord more. How do you win after a long stressful day at work? I stream. I read.
Starting point is 01:17:52 I read. Read books. I haven't did the exact opposite. I do. I play video games. My idea of unwinding after a long day of using a computer is not using the computer. It's like doing everything that's not that. Does the LCD display effect performance on the Cracken? No.
Starting point is 01:18:08 Honest thoughts on the Cracken X3Z3. We talked about it earlier. I think you're great. I love them. I can't help but take like UK rappers not seriously. I like this. That's cool. I don't know why I like it.
Starting point is 01:18:26 Yeah, I like this at all. I actually really dislike it. Any tips for stress management? Play more video games. Read more books. Disconnect. Disconnect. Yeah, I think that's kind of the problem with a lot of people in general,
Starting point is 01:18:44 not just in the server, but in general, is you have to disconnect. You have to be on your own for a bit. Think your own thoughts. Take time to just do something for yourself. Focus on yourself. And if your solution to stress or anything like that is to be around a bunch of people, that's not going to help because then you can't focus on yourself. Like your people tell me, oh, I like taking care of people. That's awesome.
Starting point is 01:19:13 But how can you take care of other people when you can't even take care of yourself? You are number one. And you can make people a very close number two, but you should always be number one to take care of yourself. This isn't all aspects, right? Like you can't do your own work. You can't help people with their work. If you can't help, if you can't do your own work. You can't love someone if you can't love yourself, right?
Starting point is 01:19:32 That doesn't really make zero sense. You can't make other people happy. If you're not happy, right? It's just kind of how life works. So turn off Discord. Turn off your phone. Walk outside. Literally, yeah, to take care of the people and it will boost yourself.
Starting point is 01:19:51 Eustace. Make a plan. Write down your goals. Yep, right down your goals. have plans, listen to good music, eat good food, you know, enjoy yourself, and then everything will fall in the place. Unless. Yeah, or is the charitable device and you should never listen to me. What do I know, man?
Starting point is 01:20:10 I'm just a, I'm just a foo with a dream. Jeff, can I be on the podcast again when I'm in L.A.? Yes. Yeah, why not? Hurt a gamer, what is your best time of the year? I like the fall. I like the cold. Halloween.
Starting point is 01:20:23 Halloween. If someone in the office yelled loud enough Could you hear them in the podcast room? No Yeah, I'm good Sure we could No, so we have this stuff up here This door is very flimsy Don't even lock right
Starting point is 01:20:34 It doesn't lock right How did it get over a girl Play video games By a new computer No like what Dennis was saying By focusing on yourself You know Yeah

I'll say Android 10. 7. Windows 7 is sick. Windows 7 was dope. Actually, I'm a no lie.
Starting point is 01:21:32 Big fan on Windows 8. Question. Yikes. Is there an Z-Z-T Corporates office at Taiwan? Yes. Have you been there? No. No.
Starting point is 01:21:39 I have no. Dark Destiny. Poppy, when will you hire me? When you solve a problem for me? Bam. Cuddle, Dennis and Ivan. If you could change my name, what would it be? To Cuddle Pawree.
Starting point is 01:21:52 I like that. That's a good one. Item 1. What's good food? Anything you like? Pizza. Pizza's good. Pizza can be good food. There's legit pizza places that do like really good stuff. Life is like pizza toppings, Dennis. They're all good, so just pick what you want.
Starting point is 01:22:09 Do you ever know what you're going to get? Yeah, soup is good food. Yeah. Let's see, I got some other news real quick. Yeah, so we finished the PC building simulator workshop DLC giveaway. And don't forget that we do have PC building simulator N60 workshop so you can build
Starting point is 01:22:29 your virtual PCs in a N6T workshop that is also virtual. It's full of poochies. Full of poochies in shirts and stuff like that. I hear the truck going off right now. You can definitely hear stuff in here. I mean, you can hear it, but the mics will pick it up, though. We hear a lot of things.
Starting point is 01:22:48 The mics don't pick it up. So we got a couple of announcements before we close. podcast. It was kind of abrupt end, but like we got to get going super quick when we talk too much. So you guys probably already know. Nibler once again has won the design contest, the second one. Another one. Another one. Enzix team design contest number two. Nibble will wins. Congratulations to Nibler. Another one. Yep. It wasn't, it wasn't hard. There's some really good designs there. Good job, Nibler. I'm proud of you. Good job. Nibler. Good job everybody who entered. Thank you again. Fun fact about Nibler. When she was here, I gave her a stack a
Starting point is 01:23:24 stickers under the stipulation that she would deface the school property and take pictures of it. And she did that. And Andy's friend is actually a teacher at Nibler's high school. And he called Andy to tell him the other day, why is there NZXT stickers all over my high school? I had to explain to Andy. Well, you see, I told Nibbler to destroy the school with NZC stickers. So thank you, Nibler for doing that. Nibler's great. Yeah. So yeah, Nibbler won, so we're going to have to give her another prize. And since she's local, I think we should invite her to come on the podcast again. Unless.
Starting point is 01:24:03 And we'll make her art an emote for the server and for NZX team. And if you're in Long Loss Sun's exclusive emo server, he already actually made that emote even before the contest started. That's the way she liked it. But yeah. So congratulations Nibbler and we'll be doing a giveaway for every role. We'll set that up today, right? Yeah. Or tomorrow.
Starting point is 01:24:34 Tomorrow at the latest. Yeah, too much the latest. I know we've been, so actually I do want to apologize for like being so late on the timeline for the contest and stuff. I don't know why we got so bad at this stage. Apology, not accepted. And I think this summer round will make a little bit more stickers. So I think we should include the homies. So if you're a homie, which is a server booster.
Starting point is 01:24:56 Don't promise anything you can't keep. No, we will. We'll make more. So the boosters will have another shot at winning them. Oh, a homie exclusive giveaway. Yeah. So the higher your rank, the better your odds. And if you're a homie, your odds are also going to get increased, you know.
Starting point is 01:25:11 So double your chances. Yep. Boost the server. Boost the server. Moderation. Yeah, so that's the design content's giveaway. Moderation applications are still open. We're still accepting them.
Starting point is 01:25:24 you know if you don't get chosen as a moderator is literally nothing personal we're looking for very specific people this time around um and also uh we might not even have new moderators you never know right who knows you might just make uh auto mods yeah it's have bots be mods not that's what I want um so uh I think that's it anything else um no just uh if you guys do have questions about any of the new products. Yeah. Just send us a DM on social or on Discord. We will reply.
Starting point is 01:26:00 Yeah. We're just really slow. Yeah. Asking the hardware channel or software channel. If you want to complain about Cam, ask Jeff. If you want to praise Cam, tell Jeff. You know, he's there. He's literally, he runs all the cam.
