Starting point is 00:00:00 Predeterminedero microphone. The Yeti-Steero Microphone. Hello and welcome to episode 48 of the NZXT Clubcast, the official podcast of the NZXT community. This podcast is recorded live every sometimes Thursday at 10 a.m. Pacific Center time of the official NZXT Discord server and is available on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, and SoundCloud. So get hooked up, get linked up, get connected. did. Give me those likes and subscribes. Those comments are. Those hearts out. Give me a five-star review in Angie's list.
Starting point is 00:00:39 Hit me up on that Yelp. Let me see what's good on GeoCities. Get me in that. MySpace top eight. My name is Dennis. And with me as always is Ivan. And don't forget to follow me on Live Journal. And subscribe to her mixer. We're almost there, guys. We're about to get partnership. Let's do it. I'm ready for it. Before we start this podcast, we announced our very special guest.
Starting point is 00:00:59 I want to talk about something serious real quick, Ivan. Are you ready for this? Yeah. So as you know, I've been here at NZXT a little over a year now and I've done my best to be the best Papito that I could be and to emulate you in every way
Starting point is 00:01:14 and just the other day. I didn't want to talk about this last time because I was ashamed, but I dropped my phone and I cracked my screen. And as you know, you and I both don't put any cases on our phones. We're completely bare, right? Right.
Starting point is 00:01:33 No case game. So it finally happened on the eve of the new iPhones, which are surely coming sometime later this year, ready for the iOS 14. We're ready to go. I've had this phone for two years and I've never, I've dropped it so many times. And the only thing that they killed it was dropping it on some carpet. That'd do it. Today's special guest from, so today's special guest. who is definitely going to be unmuted because I'm staring at them on Discord with their muted microphone
Starting point is 00:02:07 is our PR and marketing manager from Iberia and EMEA Rosa who I believe is muted or she's not here she might have fallen asleep. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. That's not a good thing. I'm here. I mean, she has tagger right here. I can pretend to be Rosa.
Starting point is 00:02:30 Okay. While she gets your stuff set up, go ahead and... Finally. Hi. Hello. Oh, my God. You got. It's spooked me. Hi. Hello, everyone. Sorry. How are you doing, Rosa? Fine. Fine. How are you? I'm great. I'm excited to have you.
Starting point is 00:02:52 We've been pushing back slash moving around your podcast like so many times this month. I'm so sorry for that. Don't worry. Yeah, it was one of those things were like, I've always told him to get more organized. And he's like, hey, make sure you start scheduling people ahead of time and ask people who wants to be on like before we even need them. And I'm like, that's a great idea. And then the one time I do like so many things around the company that people kept getting moved around. No problem.
Starting point is 00:03:16 It's not a problem. It makes me not want to do it anymore. It's like it's like you get punished for trying to be organized. And that's why I told you your punishment is recording two podcasts in one a week. Exactly. Yeah. So there we go, guys. very very special week we have two podcasts uh yesterday we had uh hanata on today we have
Starting point is 00:03:34 rosa on rosa are you excited you're ready to go yeah excited and nervous about this so really okay so here's my here's my pro tip for not being nervous okay okay number one drink a ton of coffee so you're super jittery okay that's number one number two is just pretend that everyone who's listening is in their underwear first i know this Yeah. Rosa, what is your position at NSXT? Well, I'm the peer and marketing manager in Spain and Portugal.
Starting point is 00:04:08 I also run the Spanish social media, the community manager. Okay. Which accounts do you manage? All the Spanish accounts, the Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitch. We are very active in Twitch in Spain. Really? that's good to know. Do you, so we actually are not.
Starting point is 00:04:31 Do you have any tips for people who want to, for me and Ivan, if you want to stream? To stream. Wow. My tips are that maybe try to play some video games with a friend because it's normal that in the first streams, you don't have anyone in the chat or maybe it's just a friend, two or three friends. So, Twitter is hard because when people go in. to a channel just to check it they say like 5, 10,
Starting point is 00:05:01 30 seconds and if you're not funny, you're not talking, they go, they jump to another one. So maybe just be talking with someone may help you just to learn how to be online, you know? My advice for Dennis is to just
Starting point is 00:05:17 have a better personality. Be another one more. Yeah, be different. I'm reading all this stuff down. I'm taking very good notes. I'm using an advanced bullet point note-taking style that Ivan told me about that I never read the book on, but I assume it's just you write down a bunch of bullet points and then you write things under them. Not really, but.
Starting point is 00:05:41 Rosa, how long have been at NZXT? Since March in 2020. Oh, really? Last year, last year. I was like, wait a minute. No, please, no, last year. 19, 19. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:05:59 I have an excuse. I'm on vacation. I just wanted to, to came here. I didn't want to cancel again with vocas. So I don't know what date is today, what year, or I don't know. And you know, in holidays, I can't remember anything. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:06:17 All right, cool. Because when you said March 2020, I was like, wait a minute, I'm pretty sure he saw you in Slack way before that. Yeah, I don't know. Like sneak into our Slack and it's like on a minute. One year and three months. You start telling people that you work in Spain and they all just believed you. Yeah, okay, yeah, that makes sense.
Starting point is 00:06:35 No, no, sorry. What did you do before you got to NZX2? Well, I was a physiotherapist and occupational therapist. Oh. Yeah. How did you make the jump from that to working in the gaming industry? Like, how does that have it? Yeah, well, in my free time, I always be around the ESP sports, the social media,
Starting point is 00:06:57 I was, you know, a community manager, but not like a work, just free from some teams or some clubs or sports clubs. And it's something that I always loved. And I wasn't really happy with my job as a physiotherapist because the conditions are really bad. You can have an amazing curriculum, but I don't know. It's kind of disaster. And I didn't want to lose the illusion in my job. I think it's something that defines me a lot, that work with all my passion. And I realized that I was working like tired with no motivation.
Starting point is 00:07:36 And I was working with people. So I decided to change. When my last job finished, I studied. I decided to study to increase my marketing and my social media knowledge. And when I was finishing the last exams, Mariela, that is my actual boss in the X-E-S-D, contact me. So it's like kind of crazy that I'm here, but I couldn't be happier of this change in my life. Nice.
Starting point is 00:08:09 How was the interview process for that? It was kind of crazy because I stayed like one whole month just waiting and making like five interviews with someone in Japan, someone in the United States, three people in Spain and then some weeks waiting and I don't know it was really excited to to came here but I need to wait a lot so when I finally got the yes you're in I I don't know it's it was a great feeling that's pretty crazy I I I'm not sure why you would meet somebody from Japan I'm not sure how quite how that how that works out well maybe Asia not Japan Japan. I can't remember who was it. I can only remember Philip in Europe. I can't remember
Starting point is 00:08:59 who was the Asian guy. Sorry. I was really nervous. And it was, I don't know, really stressful, but, you know, I'm here. Did you meet or did you interview anybody from the US headquarters? Or was it all just the international team? I think the international team. I didn't, I don't know. I don't know. I couldn't, sorry, but I was thinking about it the other day. And I couldn't remember Philip from Europe. So I don't know. Sorry. I think Phillips enough.
Starting point is 00:09:36 He's a cool dude. Yeah. Okay. What's your favorite thing about working in the marketing department? Okay. So it's actually before we do that. What actually do you do? So you manage the, you manage PR and marketing.
Starting point is 00:09:51 What does that mean for Spain and for Portugal? Yeah, in PR, you know, all the peer notes that are new launches in the XTSC, I make sure that we have translated in Spanish. I send them to all the media, the technology or video, or who is interesting in, and check all the news, check what people are talking about in NCC in Spain and in Portugal. and, you know, maybe sometimes help my co-workers in sales, but no, it's really to check all the information what the people are saying about NCSC.
Starting point is 00:10:37 And in marketing, I design and launch all the ideas, the giveaways, the collaborations with influencers, with every crazy idea comes from me. And well, Europe needs to say if we're going through or not, but I think it's a good summary. And well, in the social media, you know, run the different Spanish accounts and to stay with an amazing Spanish community in the Discord as well. Cool. Yeah, I definitely see the Spanish social media account being pretty, pretty active. Like, do you post, do you post every day or how often do you post?
Starting point is 00:11:23 Kind of. I like to have a plan of the week, but I think you know how social media works. Like crazy. Sometimes I need to cancel all my plans because some, I don't know, community, for example, give me some real good post or computers to share or videos or maybe your content creator team here in Spain. give me some cool videos or clips or whatever and I need to reorganize everything but yeah we're pretty active maybe most of the day from Monday to Friday we are posting one two things
Starting point is 00:12:01 maybe one day we don't post anything but the next day we we have three because things happens right yeah that's um that's I think one of the hardest parts uh of like working social media um And I'm sure that Ivan can tell you that, right? Like, we'll, we'll, we'll try to plan for things. And then one thing delays us and then the whole day is delayed, right? Yeah, well, we always have a plan. We just never stick with it. Same in as praying.
Starting point is 00:12:29 Yeah. Yeah. And it's, and it's, it's pretty hard because, like, you, you want to have a plan. But at the same time, like, for example, let's say we, we think of a really good meme, right? They were going to post on like on a Monday or something. And then we save it. And then we get to it, you know, on that Monday. And then we go, it's actually not that funny.
Starting point is 00:12:45 It's like this is funny like two days ago. Now it's just, it's a terrible joke. And then we had to spend time thinking about something else, right? Yeah, that's it. Imagine planning on all day, guys. Yeah. Or like a launch or something is delayed or whatever. There's just so many moving parts.
Starting point is 00:13:02 And like when we're the last stop for all this information, sometimes you also have to double check, right? Or just make sure that we didn't get anything wrong. Or would you post something and then someone goes, hey, by the way, this isn't, this actually, it's not. correct. And then we have to figure all that stuff out. It's a lot of work. Yeah. That's very scary to me. I need to check everything like five times. Sometimes the late posts really fast and you didn't see that. Yep. No one knows if you don't have a legit
Starting point is 00:13:34 schedule to stick to the GES you. Yes. What's your favorite thing about working in the marketing department? Community is great, but I love working with influencers. Really? Yeah, I love it. Well, in Spain, we have an amazing content creator team that I build myself
Starting point is 00:13:55 when I came here in X-C. And they're such cool people, very talented streamers or YouTubers. And I think it's my favorite part. They're amazing. And I love to work with them really like a family, a purple family. They feel the feelings
Starting point is 00:14:16 they still like as much as I do. So I think it's great. Yeah, I actually didn't notice that you guys over in Spain have a really interesting team in terms of your influencers because it's very varied, right? Like with our team in the US, we obviously have our big names like Ninja, Courage, 10 and Tap Man, Pokemon, right?
Starting point is 00:14:38 But they're all just gamers, right? They just play games all day. You guys have a couple people who like do music and stuff, right? Yeah, we, I think, well, my idea is to focus around the gaming world because of the company we are. But my last, the last girl that I proposed to be with us in XTSC is a magician. It's a pianist. And she's amazing. her streamings
Starting point is 00:15:08 are playing the piano or maybe the ukulele or singing and she plays yeah that's it Leski is just amazing she played video games soundtracks and well and another
Starting point is 00:15:22 and rock and popular songs and she's amazing she's playing the piano and reading the chat with 2,000 viewers I can't understand it but she's amazing she also wrote a song for NZT.
Starting point is 00:15:37 Yes, yes, we have a NXT song in Spanish. It's amazing. We always sing that song when the NXT account is not me, by the way. Yes. Came into the chat and yeah, NXT and everyone in the chat knows the song. It's amazing. How did you, so when you're looking for influencers or for streamers, YouTubers, whatever, to partner with.
Starting point is 00:16:07 What are some of the things that you look for? Well, they are close to gaming. The gaming world is one of them. Maybe, for example, Eliski is not, she doesn't play video games in streaming, but she plays video games. She plays video games soundtracks. But for me, in this case, and I think it's not because of me, it's because of the company.
Starting point is 00:16:32 they need to be really family friendly, not toxic. I hate the toxic people in video games. No, then you would hate me then. Yeah, so I think just people with passion, not only, I don't only check the numbers. We have some streamers that they are not partner, they are affiliate. Oh, really? But yeah, but they're close to get one.
Starting point is 00:17:03 Well, when we started to work with Aleski, for example, she wasn't partnered yet, and now she has 2,000 people with her. So it's amazing. I think it's important to check the talent, the passion, the attitude. And maybe if they know XXD, that is so awesome, because I don't like to work with influencers that, you know, not have, they don't have any idea of the brand or they don't know our products. We can do it, of course, if it's interesting in marketing.
Starting point is 00:17:39 But when someone knows the NCXD or maybe have a product before, it's amazing. Because when they talk about us, people doesn't feel that they are, you know, like selling something. They are talking with their own opinions, not with my words. Right. Yeah. Yeah, no, I think it's thing that's like, that's a really important, right? Well, I mean, me and Ivan will get a lot of DMs, emails or whatever from people who are like trying to get sponsored.
Starting point is 00:18:08 And every now and then they'll like screw up when they send their messages. And I'll be like, hey, Omen. Oh, ha ha, I'm an NZXT. It's like literally sending a message to like every single company. Like you think we're going to want to like work with you, right? Last month in Spain, one of the most famous influencers. I think he called us X N-C-T or something like that
Starting point is 00:18:32 I can remember and it was like, oh no, please no just the name please just the name yeah that happens a lot yeah yeah yeah it's one of those things
Starting point is 00:18:47 where like I mean I don't work on the partnership team but I definitely you know like when we when we do sign new people to me I think one of the most important parts is that they like the brand, right? They recognize it. They know what we're about and they kind of embody the things
Starting point is 00:19:01 that we embody, right? Yeah. I think like passion is really important because even if you have, you know, let's say for example, you know, there's, I don't know, just to say ninja, right? And let's say he's unsigned.
Starting point is 00:19:11 We're not working with him yet. And, you know, he doesn't know anything about computers, doesn't care about the brand. And in my mind, right, working with him wouldn't really make sense because then, you know, when he does start talking about us, it's almost kind of like,
Starting point is 00:19:24 it doesn't feel like a real relationship, right? But like, we'll have clips of like, you know, all of our streamers right now. And like they'll, they'll just be talking about our stuff just randomly, right? Not even during an ad. You know, someone will ask them, hey, you know, what computer do you use? And they're like, oh, yeah, I have an NXC. They're really cool. You know, work with them for a long time.
Starting point is 00:19:39 They always support me. So like, it's always nice to see that passion come out from the team because I think that that definitely helps. Not just for sales, but also it kind of tells people that like, you know, we're not here just to throw a paycheck at people, right? like we actually want to work with people who care, right? Who want to be a part of like the family almost. That's it. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:19:58 What's your least favorite thing about work in marketing? Now I think it's a minority part of my job, but maybe the translations. Sometimes I need to translate from English to Spanish. Sometimes I have product info and it's like kind of boring for me. But, you know, it's not every day. It's not every week now, so it's okay. What's the hardest thing to translate? Maybe the more hard word information, because I've been playing video games since I have memory,
Starting point is 00:20:37 but I don't really, I'm not an expert building PCs, my fiancé. So sometimes I need to call my boyfriend and say, what is this? What I'm translating. I don't understand that. I can translate what I don't understand. But, you know, I'm learning a lot since I hear, so that's great. What is your favorite N-Z-T product?
Starting point is 00:21:05 I love the LITKs. I love it. I think it's beautiful. I don't know. I want it. I want it. You're happy? It's been out for a while, no.
Starting point is 00:21:18 I have a 5-10 with the Lord of the Rings modding. Oh, really? Amazing. You have fun of that? You should totally go to the chat. Wait, I think I have them here. Just one second. Yeah, but I think that the Alite is beautiful.
Starting point is 00:21:37 I don't know. Yeah, I'm posting there in the chat. There you go. Ooh, that looks really, really cool. Sorry for all those who are listening on the podcast. You got to check it out live, right? Yeah. Normal schedule time is Thursday.
Starting point is 00:21:53 It's 10 a.m. Civic Center time. Discord.org.G. Sonsdix T. Throw it out there. Check it out. Did you, did you mod that yourself? No, no, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:22:02 One Spanish mother, Deca mother, we were working with him, and he was, like, so happy with NXT. And he offered me to do that for me in my new case. So it was like, please, the Lord of the Rings and something with Gandalf and Rohan and I don't know, I started to talk
Starting point is 00:22:23 and he's amazing the case is amazing Yeah, the diff looks really cool I think we talked about it's the last time I've seen a lot of really cool mods for cases because they're they're almost like a blank slate right They're very clean there isn't a whole lot of branding on them So like people have done some really crazy cool stuff with these cases
Starting point is 00:22:43 Yeah Especially the H1 the H1 modding is going nuts right now Like people are doing some crazy things. Some dudes stuck almost just like this, it's like a, like almost like a tumor like box on the back of it for like extra airflow. It's really crazy what people do with that thing. Yeah. I'm going to pin this one because people will be asking this all the time. I think I had another question for you, but I totally forgot what it was.
Starting point is 00:23:08 Okay. What is your least favorite N60 product? What do you hate the most? Oh, well, okay, maybe the limited editions, because we hardly get them in Europe, in Spain. And I want them all, and I can't have it. But not only for me, because I want to work with them. I want to have a, you know, it's really frustrating to be, for example, in social media and to post the, for example, now the Rainbow Six case. And everyone, oh my God, I need it.
Starting point is 00:23:44 when, when, how much? And it's like, I think we won't get here this case in Spain, sorry. And it's really hard for me. My heart is broken every time we, I don't know, we announce one of these products. You know, it's over 500 units. So everyone understand that, but I would love to work with them.
Starting point is 00:24:06 So if you ever want to get a high amount of social media engagement, everyone close your ears. This is just for me and her secret talk, right? Post a tweet. with the very most sex case and just say soon and never mention it again. Just watch how mad people get. I'll post a picture of your modded case and just be like, soon. That's how you do it.
Starting point is 00:24:32 Rosa, is there anything that you would like to see N6T make? Food. I'm always hungry. No, musical instruments. Yeah, musical instruments. Oh, that's a new one. Yeah. And not only from a lesque.
Starting point is 00:24:48 I play the guitar and now I'm learning the ukulele and I used to play the piano. So I don't care. Whatever. If you in 60 have a different musical instrument, I will learn it. We should make it NZXT kazoo. I think that would be cool or like an accordion. So I can put my chord at work. NZXT reggae horn.
Starting point is 00:25:13 It sounds different. Okay. Final one. Do you have a special shout-out, Rosa, for anyone in the company? Anyone who deserves some extra love, some appreciation? Who is that person? I don't want to say my boss because it's like, hello, what are you doing? But I just want to say a word because I think she's amazing.
Starting point is 00:25:39 I'm still learning a lot from Mariela. and she's the one that gave me the opportunity. I wasn't looking for the job. She contacted me. That's amazing. But because I won't say my boss, these seconds you can erase them, I think cats.
Starting point is 00:25:57 And I heard Kat last week and she talked about me. And this is not like, you know, giving her the favor back. No, it's just because we talk a lot. is I think it's one of the co-worker with I speak more. We shared the bad days. We share the good days. We, when you, when I have an idea, but I don't know how to make it. We help each other.
Starting point is 00:26:23 And I think that's cool. So Katz from Germany, I think. Yeah. Okay. Do you guys talk all the time? Like, do you guys like, what I'm trying to think? You were like, how do you guys work together? because you guys are in two separate countries and two separate regions.
Starting point is 00:26:39 How does that, how does the collaboration look like? We have the same position in different countries. So we just maybe share the ideas or, you know, the typical day that you don't have any idea in social media. And it's, Kat, what are you posting? Give me some ideas. Or, you know, when you have some problem maybe with an influencer or, I don't know, it's the same position in different countries. So it's not the same. We can copy our works.
Starting point is 00:27:11 You need to adapt your country, but, you know, we share all this support. That actually brings me to a really interesting question. How do you change the way you post on social based on your region? Because, like, I mean, obviously here in the U.S., right, we have our own different kind of voice and different, like, I guess, you can say, like, brand attitude. What are some of the differences between the N6T, like, global account and the N6T? Spain account? Maybe I think the, you know, the memes, the humor, the memes. Yeah. I can't copy some of them, but in Spanish we have our own timing, our own memos, so I need to adapt them. I look for a lot of inspiration in the MCXC, you know, the USA account, but sometimes I can't use them or I don't
Starting point is 00:28:01 know how to, you can translate, for example, everything. And I want to, you. You can translate, for example, everything. And I want to, I don't want that to, I want to get to the Spanish community, not the, you know, the United States ones. So I need to be updates in what the Spanish people are talking, laughing, what we are sharing, you know. And I think that's, that's it. Are there like any special like any like secret spots that you look for to find out like what the Spanish community is talking about? Or is it just really like looking at streams and looking at your social media? No, I think I'm I'm really active as myself. Not only in my work.
Starting point is 00:28:47 I still look in, you know, in Twitter, in tweets. So I think that most of the info I get in my free time and I have some ideas and I write them down. I say later, later. And then when I sit down to work, I just check them, think how to adapt them. But no, I think I'm too active. So that's where the inspiration comes. Right, right. Okay, cool.
Starting point is 00:29:18 All right then. That's it for me. Ivan, do you have any special questions? Why, yes, I do, Dennis. So, Rosa, you are from Spain. Yes. And I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but my last name is a very, very famous name in Spain. Did you know that?
Starting point is 00:29:44 I can check Slack, but no, I can remember now. My last name. Is that Ivan Pappy? No. No, my last name is actually the name of the biggest international airport over it. there, Barajas International. I'm saying, I'm like, unless we can see it, yeah, wrong.
Starting point is 00:30:12 No, no, sorry, I can, I can think about it. She's on vacation, Ivan. You can ask her question. Oh, yeah, of course, and my CD. So I'm just curious, have you ever met another Barajas? No, no, no, no, any Barajas. No, no, no. Just the airport.
Starting point is 00:30:32 It's the only one. Oh, you're unique. All right. Next question for you, since you are from Spain, shouldn't your name be pronounced Rosa? Rosa. Rosa. Rosa. So can you explain why some words with an S are pronounced with a T-H and others or not?
Starting point is 00:30:56 In Spanish? Yeah. No. T. No. Like, no, an S is an S. How come I've heard, I've heard people say like Spainia or...
Starting point is 00:31:06 Oh, I had a different axis. You know, for example, my mother is from Andalusia. It's Andalusia. But, you know, maybe my... I don't know any word, but it's from where people are. For example, in Madrid, like, we speak with Ech, like with a lot. And in other regions, they call like
Starting point is 00:31:31 Spainia, Spainia. I don't know. It's the different regions. But my name is Rosa. Rosa, okay. So next question. Speaking of, you know, how people pronounce things over there, do people actually say any Z-X-T or do they say N-Z-X-T?
Starting point is 00:31:53 No, N-Z-X-T. That is super hard to say. Oh, boy. When I was in the interviews, in my first interview interview, I have a paper with the pronunciation of the company in English, because I was super nervous. And for me, it was N-Z-X-T, but I needed to learn that this company was NC-X-T. And I have, like, in a paper, you know, N, but in Spanish, the NCXT, like, written, you know. So, no, no, we, we in Spanish, is Ennzeeta guiste. So next question for you, since your name is Rosa, are roses your favorite flower?
Starting point is 00:32:42 No, but I don't know, I don't have any favorite flower, but no, no, they're okay. Your name means rose, why isn't a rose? Yeah, but I kind of hate my name. Really? I don't know why. Yeah. Well, for example, my fiance and my friends don't call me Rosa. We call each other from our nicknames because we met in internet in a podcast. We met my fiance and I met in a podcast.
Starting point is 00:33:11 Oh, yeah, really? Yeah, yeah, in a video game podcast, yes. All right. So I guess, yeah, speaking of your boyfriend, you guys met on a podcast and I noticed that you guys actually streamed together? Yeah, I used to stream by my. myself. I had my channel. And last October, we decided, because he was always there and we stream together, we play video games together. Or maybe the camp wasn't me, but he was talking with me and playing with me. So in October, we decided to change it to Liados. That is, oh, I don't, I can think the translation, maybe someone in the chat that is from Spain, it's like that, that
Starting point is 00:33:55 when you are with another person, like maybe kissing. So it's like a... I can't remember the word in English now, but you know, liados is when you're engaged. Yeah, I think. Oh, yeah. Like compromotives. Yeah, kind of, kind of.
Starting point is 00:34:20 So we changed it and now the channel is a couple. It's a couple channel. We are a couple of streamers and we I don't know, we play we did the same but with two phases Do you guys ever fight on stream? Sometimes.
Starting point is 00:34:37 Yeah, we are like we can say we are really passion and that passion explodes sometimes but most of the time we are laughing. We are always making silly jokes each other in the
Starting point is 00:34:52 off stream and in the stream is the same So I don't know. It's sometimes hard because, you know, when you need to work with, well, with a co-work, sometimes you have different opinions. But when you live with that person, it's like maybe more often. But no, I think we have an amazing teamwork together in every, in the job, in Twitch, in like a couple. And I think that's great. So speaking of passion, I noticed you have a tattoo on your shoulder.
Starting point is 00:35:28 Is that a parrot? Are you passionate about parrots or what is that? It's a fox. That's a fox. That's a fox. I'm embarrassed now. Yeah, that's me. That's a fox.
Starting point is 00:35:40 I have the tree gonder, the white tree gondor from the Lord of the Rings in my hand and a fox that represent myself difficult moments. So how many tattoos you have total? Two, too. But I want to keep going with my arm in color. Would you let me in Venice pick a tattoo for you? Ooh, Dennis. I don't know. I need to take another previous tattoos.
Starting point is 00:36:08 They're for all life, so I don't know. How long did that tattoo take to get done? Maybe two hours, one and a half. Not really. It's such an amazing tattooadora. I don't know. So you have a fox. Do you have pets?
Starting point is 00:36:29 Yeah, I have two dogs. Two dogs. Where are their dates? How do you? Frodo, Frodo Baggins, and Sirius Black. Of course. You really love Lord of the Rings, huh? Yeah, no, no.
Starting point is 00:36:41 Harry Potter and the Lord of the Rings are my dogs, but sorry. I don't have a favorite dog, but the Lord of the Rings is better than Harry Potter. Yeah, sorry. I don't have a favorite dog, but I like this one better. No, no, no, no, no, no. Just the Harry Potter and the Lord of the other. So I love them. They're so different, and I love them the same.
Starting point is 00:37:05 Sirius and Frodo, yeah. Another thing I notice about your Twitter picture is you are holding a guitar. So I know you play the guitar and you also said you're learning the ukulele, correct? Yeah. Do you have the guitar by your side or the ukulele? go to the other side. Oh, no, please don't. No, no, please don't do this to me.
Starting point is 00:37:26 Oh, my God. I thought about it. No, they won't be so evil. No, please. All right. Well, if anyone wants to hear some guitar, tune in to Andy's first appearance on the podcast where I serenade him,
Starting point is 00:37:40 and I think Andy plays bass on the second appearance of his podcast. Oh, my God. How many instruments can you play? Well, I used to play the piano. I think I can't anymore. Well, I need to practice a lot. The guitar, and now the ukulele, it was a birthday gift. Well, the flute maybe in the school.
Starting point is 00:38:06 I play a little bit of guitar, and I like the sound of ukulele. So do you have a guitar over there? Can you sing us something? I don't have it in the room here with me. I tried to actually playing some ukulele because I thought it'd be easier because it's only four strings. And I found it could be harder. Yeah, I always confused that to go from six strings.
Starting point is 00:38:28 Yeah, I know the word. From six strings to four. Sometimes confuse me a little bit. But no, it's just needed to learn new positions of your hand and that's it. Yeah, maybe I'll pick it up again. Another thing I know. What's your kind of music to play? Music.
Starting point is 00:38:46 I don't know. The music that I love, for example, the last songs that I was playing are from The Last of Us 2. Oh, cool. Yeah, and, you know, every, each song that I like, I think I try to play in a guitar, I love it. I love rock, rock, most of them, pop, maybe. What's your favorite band? Oh, just one. I don't know, I grew up with you too.
Starting point is 00:39:13 I love Alicia Keys, ghost. I'm a big ghost fan. I saw them live last year. So I will love to see them. I don't know. I listen to so many different genders. One of the things I miss ever since I had a kid was going to concerts. I haven't been a concert in years and I'm always jealous when Dennis tells me he goes to these concerts.
Starting point is 00:39:45 Yeah, I can imagine. I mean, you can still go. Just drop your daughter off like her grandparents, dude. Easy-peas. Once again, do you have to go through this, Dennis? Another thing I noticed about you, Rosa, is that you are a big Rainbow Six-Each fan.
Starting point is 00:40:03 Is that correct? Ooh, I didn't play. Yeah, I love Rainbow Six. I didn't play Rainbow Six in a while, but I love shooters. I love to play a lot of video games, but I grew up. up with your real tournament.
Starting point is 00:40:20 Yeah. Oh, damn, which one? I need to check in Google. That was a cool game. I need to check the picture of the game. I can't remember. I will take a, oh, this one, this one. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:40:35 Just let me send you. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Let's see. And you know, I love shooters. So I played a lot of overwork. I was in a team not really professional one. Oh, sorry, I don't know what I said. Well, okay.
Starting point is 00:40:53 The JFIS. Yeah, sorry, I can set it again. Okay, just one second and here. This one. Is it what I remember? I don't know what the real real is. Yeah, it's the first one. Wow.
Starting point is 00:41:15 So I started in shooter with that. with my father yeah I'm I'm at all time oh damn no
Starting point is 00:41:28 I don't know I have for example I loved overwatch because I think it's such a funny game but now I hate it
Starting point is 00:41:37 I change a lot sorry it's kind of dead for me sometimes I play it but I'm so angry with with Blizzard so
Starting point is 00:41:45 I yeah Rainbow Six I think it's amazing but they people told me that now is a little bit bad these days I don't know I feel like everyone says it about every game right it's like yeah yeah
Starting point is 00:42:00 they love it and then like after a month two months three months you're like actually this game sucks I'm like it anymore and it's always like for example I played overwatch since the beta I was like sick in the beta I couldn't step playing and what I miss
Starting point is 00:42:16 most now actually is to have a shooter that I need to play. I like Ballarat for example but I don't need to play Ballarat. I don't... I'm a lot of seeing a shooter like what I felt in a real tournament
Starting point is 00:42:32 when I was young, well a kid like Overwatch like when I was like Sikh in Rainbow Six. I don't know. Maybe if I... Oh, I need to try Tarkov. I didn't try it yet. Tarkov is sweaty and super I know, I know.
Starting point is 00:42:48 I like Tarkov. It's just like, I don't like losing progress. And especially when like, you know, as like I'm older, I don't have as much time to play as I used to know as a kid, you know, because of work and stuff like that. If you're like, like if you die and lose your stuff, it's almost like, you know, it's almost like a, I just played an hour and a half. And I lost all my guns, you know. Yeah. Yeah. I do like seeing people play that game because it's just people dying.
Starting point is 00:43:16 over and over again. I don't really watch Tarkov a lot. No, no. I think maybe when I start playing Tarkov, maybe. But I don't know. I think I prefer more like active games. You know, like, well, Rainbow Six maybe
Starting point is 00:43:32 you have like to wait, wait for the moment, wait for the moment and suddenly all the action explodes. And I think that's what I love about Rainbow Six. It's like, I don't know, it's really I don't know how to say it, but yeah
Starting point is 00:43:49 And Overwatch is all the time playing You die, you come back, you run, you wait You fight and fight and fight So maybe Darkov will be hard for me I don't know, I will try them I will tell you later Yeah, definitely definitely
Starting point is 00:44:05 It's a cool game Yeah Have you seen the new R6 case? Yeah, of course Do you like it? Yeah, can you send me one? No, not me, but maybe Andy. Please.
Starting point is 00:44:19 Please. Anyone is here? I'm just the sticker guy. I know. I'm just the Spanish guy. Woman. Yeah, no. We're working with one case, but I can get it.
Starting point is 00:44:36 So I need to use it from my Spanish community. I love them so much, but I hate you. I want that case. You know, one of the things that I love about the Spanish community is their food. Oh, of course. Like, what's your favorite tapas? Tapas. Yesterday I was eating tapas in the street.
Starting point is 00:45:00 I'm sure, yeah. My parents, they went to Spain, I think last year or the year before. And they were telling me that basically every major street over there, it just has, like, amazing food that you can just. As you're walking, you just basically eat the entire day. I'm in love with the, well, you can eat like amazing in every region in Spain, but I'm in love with the north part with, you know, Calicia, Cantabria, Asturias. They have amazing food.
Starting point is 00:45:32 And you can be in, you can be lost in the country, in a village with five people there. And you stop to eat and it's like amazing. It's crazy. Maybe my favorite tapas, for example, it can be pulpo in English. That's an octopus, right? Pol? Yeah, that's it. Octopus.
Starting point is 00:45:53 From Galicia, it's amazing. I don't know if you knew this, but Dennis and I, we speak Spanish. However, we were born here in California. So I was wondering if you can rate our Spanish. Oh, okay, of course, of course. Okay, can you type a sentence in the podcast chat for Dennis and I to read? Oh, geez. Oh, let me see.
Starting point is 00:46:20 Tanya, give me some ideas. I have a regional moderator there in the chat. Hmm. Or the community has any suggestions for us to. I got one. Okay. There you go. I'm waiting.
Starting point is 00:46:38 I'll give you a lot. Ooh, that's nice. I'll give a A Rosa Oh, very good that
Starting point is 00:46:47 You need to do that Is that you need to Get up my salary I'm going to I'm going to give Rosa A Raysa
Starting point is 00:46:58 We should call her Raysa No I'm used to people Tell me Rose I'm used to it So it's okay I think I prefer
Starting point is 00:47:12 Rose to Rosa or something like that The next thing I want to tell you is it's not actually a question, but I do have a suggestion. Okay. So for your wedding, I know you're engaged. Yes.
Starting point is 00:47:31 The first song you dance to right here. Okay, let's see. Kiss from a rose. Oh, that's so cool. That's awesome. Yeah. Shout up to that man's ever, am I right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:48 Remind your husband that he's a lucky man. Maybe the first one from the Hobbit song, but this can be the second one. All right. The real last question I have here is, you know, all three of us, you, Dennis and myself, we all work on community and social media stuff. And it's a little challenging sometimes. to coordinate like some things, like, because we're so far apart. So my question to you is, how can Dennis and I help you more with a...
Starting point is 00:48:22 Ooh, that's good. That's good. And I take notes, please? I would love to think this before, but I think we're getting better in that because in one year, we're having the information earlier. and we can ask you everything. For example, in a lounge moment, we know almost where you are going to post,
Starting point is 00:48:55 not the post, really. We sometimes need to wait, but we have the pictures, we have the videos, we can talk with you. I don't know, in the community, for example, in the Discord community, you are really active and help each other, and we have a chat to talk about everything I need.
Starting point is 00:49:18 So just maybe in the future I will tell you something more, but maybe to keep going this way and to have all the information as soon as we can. Because sometimes we are in a different time area. So it's difficult. Sometimes we are sleeping or I need to, I don't know, maybe at 7 o'clock in the afternoon I'm done, I close everything and sometimes it's
Starting point is 00:49:47 when you post everything and maybe if we have all the info as soon as we can that is easier for us in Europe for example we're getting better so thank you so much I think we are getting better you know we're definitely
Starting point is 00:50:05 we're trying to make things better so yeah if we think of anything you know you know where to find us Just feel free. Yeah, of course, of course. Yeah. Since day one, I, you know, you're really... I don't know.
Starting point is 00:50:20 Like, easy to... Yeah, thank you. Is it to talk with you, to just ask something? I don't know. I stopped working. Yes, Tanya. Yeah, that was my last question, Dennis. We can start going with the community questions now.
Starting point is 00:50:38 Yep. All right. Community question time. Hello there. Special would like to... know what is a unique thing that only nzxte does for marketing wow unique unique is hard podcast on this discord yeah i think the discord i i think the discord this discord is amazing we have a puppy i don't know i think that the the global discord is amazing the global community
Starting point is 00:51:05 the the podcast i don't know i think maybe this way because i don't know i think maybe this way because because not influencers, maybe, not videos, not the announces, the launch. No, maybe, yes, maybe this Discord. What are we doing now? I think is kind of unique. Yeah, I think that Discord is definitely something that we do, quote-unquote, marketing-wise. That's different from a lot of people. And one of the reasons why we have the regional channels and why you're on this podcast, too,
Starting point is 00:51:38 because we realize that even though it is a global server, that we can definitely improve the way we're managing communities all over the world, right? Yes. It's always awesome when you want to do stuff like stream and chat with people on here. I love seeing that. It's cool. Yeah. It's amazing to have a Spanish chat, for example, because there are a lot of users that don't speak English.
Starting point is 00:52:06 and we started just to have, you know, to chat. I need to talk a lot and maybe we were 20, 30. But now we play together sometimes. We made video games meetings with myself or with the streamers from Spain. So I think that's great. And it's kind of unique. Yeah, it's awesome. All right.
Starting point is 00:52:33 Next question is from PSG. How often do you work daily? Daily. It's a trick question. Yeah. My most productive time is in the mornings. I think I work every day because, you know, social media. You need to check in your mobile, the Twitter, the discourse sometimes.
Starting point is 00:52:59 So I think I work every day. But I love when I can work in the morning. I don't know, send some documents, plan my social media post. And some, for example, at 5 o'clock in the afternoon, it's like, okay, I think I'm free. Do you ever take time to think of memes? Like, they were just like set us off time, just like to sit back and just think about something that's funny. Sorry, what? I didn't necessarily.
Starting point is 00:53:30 Do you ever set time just like to think of funny stuff to post? Yeah, of course, of course. And to look for... A.k.a. Memes. Yeah, yeah, of course. To... I think when I started working here, you know,
Starting point is 00:53:45 I was physiotherapist, so it's like you're always working with a patient. And it was like a strain sometimes in my first months. Like, I'm looking... I'm in Twitter. I'm in Reddit. Looking for memes, reading things. And this is
Starting point is 00:54:01 my job. This is kind of crazy. I love I love saying memes Let's just call him memes from no one Memes, yeah Is that really how it's pronounced in Spanish? Yeah, Memes, Memes. It's perfect.
Starting point is 00:54:15 Ten. You have a 10 there. Memes. Sometimes we say Memes over here. Yeah. But Memes. I like Memes better. All right, Hobbes wants to know
Starting point is 00:54:29 How did the NZXT brand name come to mind? What was the inspiration for creating the name and ZXT. I think we've discussed this a few times, but Ivan has a story. I've only answered this a million times, but I'll do it a million and one. Basically, when our founder, Johnny, started the company back in 2003. He was trying to design the next generation of computer cases. So the original name he thought of was next generation, but then he realized it was too long. So his next choice was just getting rid of the word generation and just going with the name next. But that was also too long.
Starting point is 00:55:12 Oh, not too long. Sorry, that was taken by Steve Jobs Company. So then all he did was he just looked at it really hard and he's like, how do I make this look cool? And his solution was to use a Z instead of an E and add a dot at the end of it. That's basically the story. It's like nothing... Why are we so afraid of the vocals? You know, N60 build...
Starting point is 00:55:40 In Spanish, it's hard because we need to say the letters because, you know... I don't know. Yeah, it's like... Yeah, it's not like... For example, the original logo had a TM symbol and a dot. And because of that, we couldn't actually machine all the products the same.
Starting point is 00:55:59 So the logo looked different on every product because it just couldn't be machined the same. And also, the original logo was not a logo. It was just font. It was just the aerial font bolded. And because of that dot, we couldn't even center it on T-shirts. Like, it always looked crooked. So two years ago, when we went through the whole branding exercise of picking the color purple and updating our logo, we actually designed a real logo that's not a font.
Starting point is 00:56:29 So now we actually do have a logo and it's always centered and it always looks the same on all our products. And the dot, fun fact, the dot from the original logo ended up becoming the puck. That's how Pucci was born. Pucci. I love Pucci. I have two Poochis and I want more. Dennis clip that. All right.
Starting point is 00:56:56 You should send her a Pucci Mama. All right. Dylan wants to know what made the NXT plush look like that? I'm not quite sure what you mean by like that. I mean, it's based on the NZXT puck. Yeah. So the way Pucci came about was when we were looking for a mascot, we wanted to base it off of a product.
Starting point is 00:57:24 And the reason why the puck was chosen as the product as opposed to the cases or the crack-in or anything like that. It's because the puck has always been like a meme for us. It's always been like an unofficial type of mascot. Like when we first launched it, I remember, like a lot of people thought it was really stupid. Like, for example, gamers nexus thought it was like the dumbest product ever made. So we proceeded to send him a puck every single week for like a year. We did a whole marketing campaign around the puck
Starting point is 00:57:58 where we were just telling people these weird stories. We made like a X-Files poster of it saying, I want to believe with the puck flying. Yeah, so when it came time to come up with Pucci, you know, the puck was like the obvious choice and the original name was not actually Pucci. The original name was Puckie.
Starting point is 00:58:21 But what happened was we have this emote in the server called Gucci. And one day, I don't know, I was just looking at the word pucky, and I just thought, you know, we should probably spell this like Gucci. It just looks cooler. And then it just instead of pucky became pucci like Gucci,
Starting point is 00:58:42 Gucci, Gucci. Guys, do you know that we have a Spanish streamer from XXC that have this emot from Pucci? That's cool. We should add that to the server. Yeah, so Pucci's in Twitch as well. Yeah, he's a good boy. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:02 So wants to know, what's Johnny doing? Working from home like us. Is he really? I thought he would have been in the office or something. No, he's not the office. He's just working for him like all of us. All right. PSG wants to know, how is Dan in the office?
Starting point is 00:59:24 His shoes are very squeaky. I always hear him when he walks in Because it's funny because Dennis and Amanda So Dennis sits to my right Amanda sits behind me and they both wear the same shoes I think they're Adidas, what are they called? They're NMDs Yeah basically they're like super fancy like sneakers
Starting point is 00:59:45 And they squeak like crazy I call them squeakers So every time Dennis and Amanda walk in the office I hear him like as soon as they walk in What else is Dennis in the office? Dennis is also very outgoing in the office. He's always walking around, taking pictures of people, messing with people, having fun. I miss the office.
Starting point is 01:00:10 I miss the office. Yeah, I know. I miss the two. I haven't seen any of the builders in like the longest time. And like, I know when I go there, I'm not going to know anybody. Yeah, I'm going there again tomorrow. Nice, too. I love to work at home because I always work at home, not only these days, but I would love to be in the office, I don't know, one month.
Starting point is 01:00:32 I think it's so cool. Hopefully you'll visit once all this. I hope so. You should. Pencil wants to know, why didn't Dan leave NZXT to sing? So you can't talk about that right now. I got into a bad contract with the record company, so that's why I'm stuck here. Special wants to know, will the podcast be moving to mixer?
Starting point is 01:00:57 Yes. Spoilers. Milk bottle, when is your last holiday? That sounds very dark. It's a very dark question. When is your last holiday? My last holiday? Yeah, I'm not sure.
Starting point is 01:01:14 I'm not sure what that question means. Who's pinning these questions? I mean, it was Father's Day last on Sunday. Yeah. It's 4th July next week. I'm actually on holiday right now. My answer is today. Martin, when did NXT launch?
Starting point is 01:01:37 2003? The best thing that N60 has made. I think Ivan's answer would have been the Manta, right? Product-wise, yeah. That's my favorite case ever. How about you guys? I like the elite. I think the elite's my favorite case that I've seen.
Starting point is 01:01:56 People complain about it. My temps are nice and crispy. Everything's great in it. It looks awesome with a bunch of RGB. It's like, I don't know, it's my opinion, like one of the best cases I've ever seen. You know, just it looks elegant. It's simple. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:02:12 It's just, it's nice. It's heck and nice. I like it a lot. It's the opposite of issues. I'll even prove it to you right now, chat. Here are my temps right now with a bunch of stuff running in the background that you don't want to worry about. Okay. Next question is, what potential do you see for NZXT to expand to in the future?
Starting point is 01:02:39 A lot. I mean, we just expanded into the dock region into Germany and Austria. So hopefully we'll go to more places soon. I always tell people that our goal is you take over the world, so we have to go everywhere, right? little by little one place at a time but if we ever launch it like it's not to to go into doc i mean this just takes long time if we ever launch in japan i might i might put in a request to to transfer ivan just f i if we ever launch in japan you have my blessing um who is the best admin this This question is for Rosa.
Starting point is 01:03:27 Oh, damn. In Spain, the best admin. The best admin on the cover, in your opinion. No, sorry, sorry, it's from Spain for me because it's the ones that I'm reading all the time. Ayur. Ayur is amazing because he's just a YouTuber, a hardware YouTuber. He works sometimes with XXC, with some sometimes in products. analyze and he helped so much the other users, as well as Tanya that is here. She's recently
Starting point is 01:04:04 one of the Spanish admins. And sometimes I can be in Discord. When I come back, there were some doubt, some new people. And they got them everything under control. It's amazing. They help with just being nice, with the hardware, with software doubts. They're great. They're great. All right. I lost my place. Happens a lot.
Starting point is 01:04:40 Sir Ranking As a fair part about marketing. You're talking about working with influencers. Babe Wizard wants to know. Explain how you work for NST during COVID and everything and everything and if it affects your work style. I think we we talked about this in the past about like how transitioning from being in an office setting to being in a home setting is definitely different, right? I think the one thing that I mean I haven't spoke about the most is really just like splitting like lifetime and work time if you're always in front of the
Starting point is 01:05:14 computer, right? Yeah. I think that's like the biggest thing I would say. I think like Rosa is used to it because you know Yeah since they want I'm from home Yeah I think it's to separate is to stop working sometimes I'm good at this How does that work? Stop working how? You know you understand me when I stop working but just it's not stop stop
Starting point is 01:05:43 Stop, stop just a little bit I'm good at that so that's not a problem for me but sometimes to have a different room or a different computer just to work is a good idea. That makes sense. That makes sense. Yeah. And don't have your dogs here, so you can be distracted. Alan wants to know, where does the rain in Spain fall?
Starting point is 01:06:08 What? Where does the rain in Spain fall? You haven't heard that same, Rosa? No, no, sorry. Oh, my God. The rain in Spain. I didn't know this. Paul's mainly on the plane.
Starting point is 01:06:29 I don't know where it came from, but it's just, it's a thing. It's from a movie. It's a song. I'm watching right now. I didn't know that. Oh, my God. My fur lady, I think. Okay, Hobbs wants to know, will NZXT make a new PC sometime ever?
Starting point is 01:06:47 Maybe something cheaper than the starter PC. or something higher tier. So we have higher tier PCs. We have the starter, starter plus, the streamer, then the creator PC, which is probably like the BPC you can get. And then we did just announce, we did just announce a free gaming PC on Twitter.
Starting point is 01:07:09 Well, the podcast is going on. Yeah. Because hashtag free gaming PC was trending. So we launched a new free gaming PC. Bapers want to know, will N6T make any new version of the H510 or higher style cases? Not sure what you mean by higher style, but, you know, we're always, you know, the same answer we give every time people ask us from coming up with new stuff. Yes and no. We're always looking at what we can make.
Starting point is 01:07:36 We won't tell you until we're able to tell you. Alex Lillier wants to know. What influencers have you collaborated with? here in Spain or or it's from you I don't know I don't know oh okay well we have
Starting point is 01:07:58 two from Overwatch Toniki well you can oh no you can go to the I was going to say that in the Spain channel they got all the info but well I can resume it we have two from Overwatch
Starting point is 01:08:12 Toniki and Arkangelo we have the pianist girl Leski we have some Valerand, well, Valerand shooters guys. Charlie Knight, yeah, they are. Oh, they're so cool. Charlie Knighter and Hito, they are not playing Valorand a lot. And Fabina is from World of Warcraft.
Starting point is 01:08:37 Cool. Very, very diverse group. I have not collaborated with any streamers because I just tweet all day. but if there was a streamer I would like to collaborate with it would be ninja so I can tell him that I don't think his shoes are all that hot at least his don't squeak actually I don't even know because I don't think anyone owns a pair
Starting point is 01:09:00 I know that like Rob bought like two pairs or something and like I think he bought one for his daughter and she didn't like them at the end they're too big or something Lewis wants to know NXT cable ties maybe you never know what problem with that solved that other cable ties don't give us that answer and we'll make it. We do include, so all our cases are newer cases that made after 2017. We have
Starting point is 01:09:25 a patented cable routed system behind the case that has cable ties, Velcro straps. But I always thought it would be cool if we made purple zip ties. Just because, right? Yeah, why not? I mean. The same cable ties you know and love, but purple, once they sell out, right, for like theme builds. I mean, I'm sure we can just do that. I think it'd be that complicated. I know they sell them.
Starting point is 01:09:58 Bay also wants to know N6T8 or 24-pin connector cables. Yeah, sure, why not? I'll get right on that. We use cable mods. Yep, we do. And they work really, really well, right? It's like, it's one of those things that we, you know, we always talk about this like, you know, if, sorry, there's fireworks going off at
Starting point is 01:10:21 11 a.m., dude, these fireworks are so nuts. People are going to ham right now. You know, it's the same thing that we always talk about is like, you know, we're always looking into everything, right? But the big thing is like, can we solve a problem with a new product, right? Just think about everything we do and think about how it solves your problem. Unfortunately, we can't help you with your life problems. That's something separate. Skull and no, we ever do a collab with either Razor or Coursair? We've collaborated with Razor twice already on the Razor S340 and the Razor H440,
Starting point is 01:11:01 and I don't think we'll ever collaborate with Coursera. Yeah, I don't really see it too much happening. I don't know what we would do that they don't do. you know what I mean like we make a lot of the similar products let's see here make one are any computer engineering jobs in NST if so what do they do
Starting point is 01:11:22 so first answer is yes nzc.com slash careers and second I have no idea what they do but they do everything to work on cam software firmware to work on the engineering
Starting point is 01:11:40 like on our website right on our systems like our build configurator, things like that. We have engineers helping us with shiped rewards now. Yep. That's you actually. Babe, do you think you would ever do a collab with Naruto? Naruto has done a lot of collabs recently. I'd be down.
Starting point is 01:12:03 I don't know if I'd buy a Naruto case, but I'd be super down. I would buy just so I can give it the poppy. I'd be like, what is this out of my house? NXT Anthem and English when Ooh That's a good idea We should get a translated version of that, Rosa
Starting point is 01:12:19 Hmm Think we're pretty cool, right? Yeah, I think so Squill Favorite brand besides NZXT Hmm That's a good one Favorite what?
Starting point is 01:12:34 Favorite brand besides NZXT I'm assuming computer brand Oh, computer brand Yeah I was a good And just say computer brand I don't know. Apple.
Starting point is 01:12:51 Linux is Linux a brand? Actually, I would say Steel Series. I really like their headsets and their mice and their keyboards are nice. Basically things that we don't make right now. Or have available. I obviously, you know, computer part of like pizza toppings. They're all good. It's just, you know, orderable.
Starting point is 01:13:12 what you like. Don't ask a hardware channel. They'll definitely tell you that you're wrong. Marwan wants to know, what techniques are used in the marketing industry to attract people to be part of the community? Free PC. A podcast.
Starting point is 01:13:26 Free PCs, so always. Yeah. Free PCs, free Discord Nitro, a fund for the community. Free Discord Metro, we forgot, Dennis. Oh, yeah, we did forget, huh? Do you want to set it up, Ivan? Or do you want me to set up?
Starting point is 01:13:38 I don't know how to say it up, so please do. Okay. You want to ask the next questions while I get it set up? Thanks for asking, dude. Plans on making NVIDIA or AMD GPUs, the answer is no, because we are not NVIDIA or AMD, so why would we make their GPs, right? And I don't think we would ever just make a graphics card to put our name on it. Next questions from Soto.
Starting point is 01:14:08 Have you ever visited MZXT main headquarters? Rosa, have you? No. No, no. I just... What's your way? Don't know, don't know. I've seen Muriela visit. She's really nice. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, I want to, but I don't know. I just traveled to Germany, but we were, you know, like in a hotel just to meet all the European team.
Starting point is 01:14:37 But I would love to have the opportunity to go. Yeah, yeah. Hopefully after this whole coronavirus thing is done, and I'll even, I'll take you to the old office so you can see a glow up from going from one room to like this crazy building. Next question is, oh, by the way, people, please check the pins. You want to answer to the Discord Nitro giveaway, Dennis, set it up. Yep, it's up now. Do you want to take over the questions again, Dennis?
Starting point is 01:15:10 Yes, sir. And he talks about expanding the AMD motherboard section, maybe to ROS and B550 or B570. If we're talking about on BLD, we always are. But unfortunately, if you have not heard, we are under a global pandemic, which is severely putting a strain on components all over the place. And it's one of those things that has been going on for a while. Like the first like supply chain breakdown happened like back in November last year when Corona hit in China. And they were still recovering and then it happened globally and that broke everything down. As much as, you know, there's a really good video that who did a that Gamer's Nexus did on that, on that whole subject that I would definitely check out.
Starting point is 01:15:57 They're going to answer there's a lot of questions asked to like why things are hard to get. And it's not even that like they're not they're not like being made. it's just like getting them over is really is really hard right um like you know like when when people are in need of like ventilators and like face masks and all kinds of surgical things right are just things things like the medical industry a lot of that stuff is you know is put on priority as opposed to you know like a computer case or or stuff like that um yeah so i'll check it out something link it if you want um i'm not going to look for it i'm not going to give them the view But yeah, I mean, we're always looking to offer more options on the website, you know.
Starting point is 01:16:36 But it also depends too on like, you know, what the demand is, right? And, you know, as much as like, you know, personal builders love AMD. A lot of people who just want like a computer to buy for themselves, a lot of them choose Intel. I don't know what like the numbers are now. I haven't looked at that. I mean, like, even when like the new rises dropped and people were like building a bunch of them, it's definitely something that, you know, that we keep an eye on, right? Like, what are people asking for?
Starting point is 01:17:00 What can we produce and stuff like that? What we can put out? Yeah, supply chains are very hard, a very difficult thing, because when you make something super, super efficient, and I'm getting really deep in this, right? When you make something super, super efficient, any one little thing can break it down. And once that breaks down, it's hard to kind of get ramped up, right? It's not just you turn it on and now all of a sudden we have a million PSUs in the country. it takes a lot of time for those to kind of get back to a level that we're used to, especially, you know, when things are constantly happening all over the world.
Starting point is 01:17:37 Babe, what is your favorite part of working with the PC company? Probably the freaking... Rosa. That's a good one. I think to work around video games, to work around my biggest passion, I think it's cool to work and to yeah, to work around busy components, around video games, around streamers. That's so cool. Mine is being able to make fun of influencers and streamers.
Starting point is 01:18:18 I like having the ability of like joking around with people and having fun, right? I don't see any influencer or any person like that as like better than anyone else, which is why I kind of take the attitude of like, you know, I'm going to mess with you. Obviously not be mean, right, but can I play around and kind of like bring like a human voice to it. To me, it's always the funest part about working with a computer company. But also just I just love hardware. I love computers, you know, I love seeing the new stuff that we're looking at and thinking about and might bring out in the future and stuff like that.
Starting point is 01:18:49 It's always really cool to have like that kind of inside look, right? Yeah. Pencil, what's your favorite food? Oh, shushi for me. Say that more time? Sushi. From Japan, is sushi in English? Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:19:05 Okay, for me, it's sushi. I don't know. I'm scared now. I'm totally not making fun of your accent. Not at all. What do you say? How do you say that? Sushi.
Starting point is 01:19:16 Ah, sushi. Oh, okay. Dennis is a weeb, so you should definitely the way he says it. I actually have two. My first one are, these fireworks are killing me, dude, are tacos al-pastor, number one. If I ever get a chance to get tacos, that's like, number one. All of us started in Spanish is perfect.
Starting point is 01:19:39 And then my favorite, tacos al-pastor. And then second, because I'm literally like a man-child spaghetti. Like, I love a really good spaghetti with like a slightly spicy meat sauce. That's like, I don't know why, but I love. spaghetti. Whenever you go to any like, quote unquote, nice Italian restaurant, I always ask for spaghetti just to see like how they make it to get some, some inspiration. I ever had spaghetti where they, um, like they actually like hand toss the, the noodles and you can see like how they make it. Yeah, it's really, really cool. Yeah. Alan says video all day. Video's cool too, but I don't like having to dip it. Like it's just like it's messy drips everywhere, right? Spaghetti may be ketchup y'all. Y'all mean.
Starting point is 01:20:22 Well, you can eat. There's two different types of beer, yeah. There's the wet and dry. I mean, you had to go wet. I think the wet, you know, soup type is better, but you can also order it dry. Do you ever drink the soup afterwards or do you just use the dip and then? Really? Yeah. I don't. I don't. To me, it's weird. I don't know. A restaurant by my house called La Chiva Jr. And they make this like really good beer. And they have like these, like, these. little cups of samplers that you can walk in front of their restaurant and just take like a like a little shot of bea juice.
Starting point is 01:21:02 I can't seriously just walk over there just to like take a shot of beauty out juice. It's so good. That's dope. Okay, pencil, favorite animal slash pet. Mm. Hmm. Animal. Hmm.
Starting point is 01:21:17 Hmm. My favorite animal is snow leopards because they're super cool. cool and they're endangered so I want to be able to see one before before they're hopefully not gone one of my favorite animals are foxes that's why I have one
Starting point is 01:21:41 of my arm but as pets I don't know cats and dogs I love horses too but cats and dogs I love horses because I have dogs I don't know why but I would love to have a cat as well as Spain has some Beautiful horses.
Starting point is 01:21:59 Yes, yes. I used to ride horses when I was a kid. I don't know. It's amazing. Yeah, me too. I ride horses too ever since I was a kid. And my dad, he used to take me to these horse shows where they had like Spanish writing competitions. And it's like super beautiful.
Starting point is 01:22:22 It's amazing actually how disciplined the writers in Spain are. compared to other parts of the world because it's very focused on like presentation, like how good everything looks. And I like that a lot. Caballos. Caballos. Caballitos, as one would say. BAP also wants to know, Intel or AMD.
Starting point is 01:22:49 My answer officially is yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Flux. Does the H510 run very hot, planning to get one? This is a good question. The reason why I wanted to pin it is because the all of our cases are designed for the majority of gamers at mind, right?
Starting point is 01:23:10 So let's say if you're doing like super crazy insane overclock and just going with air cooling, then the H510 or the 710 or whatever our cases are probably not for you, right? But if you say you're looking into like a closed water loop solution or even like an all in one, then probably maybe it depends, right? Like we don't create our cases for like the niche crowd who has to like overclock everything, right? And put in like the most ridiculous amount of hardware. You can, right?
Starting point is 01:23:40 But it's going to get a little warm. At the same time, I think a lot of people expect like anything, you know, under like 60 degrees Celsius to be like super hot, which is not really the case, right? Those are perfectly normal temperatures for the majority of hardware. But if you're looking for a crazy amount of like, you know, of like cooling, then get like a Lee and Lee. You can stick like 50 fans in that thing, right? Or replace your case fans with like some knocktas or, you know, there's a lot of the things you can do to make your computer not run that hot. Or just get a PlayStation 5.
Starting point is 01:24:13 There you go. That's another solution. Congratulations to cute Nekosan and Keshov for winning. our Discord Net Show. Look at that. PING, not PING, DM Ivan for your price. I'll DM them.
Starting point is 01:24:28 I'll be proactive. Oh, snap. I was going to say, yeah, you know, so does it get hot? I'm going to say no. If you're running a regular, everyday gamer, pro gamer build
Starting point is 01:24:42 and if your computer is getting hot, you probably built it wrong. Or your fan curves aren't set up correctly. Like my computer used to get a little warm, and I redid my fan set up in my elite so that now it reacts to my GPU because I have a Crackin X-62
Starting point is 01:25:01 for my 97-100K So the thing that gets the warmest in that computer is going to be my GPU so I have it set to ramp up with the GPU temperatures because that thing definitely gets a little toasty when I'm playing certain games So there you go. Pro pro pro advice I'm on some
Starting point is 01:25:20 wants to know, are you guys going to sell the R6 Breach Charge Puck separately? Ivan, do you know if you're going to sell that thing separately? We are not. There you up. Another thing with every craft case that we come out with, there's always like one thing associated
Starting point is 01:25:36 with the exception of the PugG. So the PugG was actually the first one. And with that one, we did sell the Puck separately. But after that, you know, with like like the Fallout case, Nika-Cola, et cetera. We always include an additional thing with the case just to kind of make it a little bit cooler for the person buying it. So sweetly deal. Yeah. So with the fallout case,
Starting point is 01:26:02 you would get not just the cool gear puck, but you would also get, oh no, it was just a gear puck. The Nika-Cola case, you would get a bobblehead. And then with this one, you get a a cool looking puck that looks nothing like a puck there you go yeah I've actually I haven't seen in person I really want to like feel it and like squish it and stuff can Nika San what's the what's fun in the marketing department I think you're gonna answer that question hold on Ivan I got a sneeze meet the mic and any sneeze button that one hurt I think from my brain come out Babe Wizard favorite game of all time my favorite game right now now my favorite game right now
Starting point is 01:26:58 again is destiny too I'm back into it I'm on that grind I just really like to shoot mechanics like the game feels really good to shoot in that's one of the things that I think is really important for a shooter is that like your your weapons feel good and they feel weighty and they feel like to have impact right yeah I think something really good my playing right now I haven't favorite game right now um yes Super mega baseball Part three A let's go
Starting point is 01:27:24 Rosa, fair again I just finished the last of us two and it destroyed me but I love it dang I need a hug but it was amazing it's an amazing experience
Starting point is 01:27:38 All right I'm gonna skip around a little bit to ask some more like unique interesting questions so we can close it off soon and we'll have busy busy days this is an interesting one. Hobbs, have we ever partnered with just e-sports teams in general?
Starting point is 01:27:54 Like Australis Liquid Phase, not just individual members of a team. Evan, you want to take this one? Have we ever partnered with individual streamers? No, with like entire e-sports teams. Yeah. What we do in Spain, right? I mean, we sponsor,
Starting point is 01:28:10 so in the past, we've sponsored Counter Logic Gaming, Team Envious, and we currently sponsor 100 Thieves. In Spain, we don't have, we're not working with a club right now. I know in the past, when I wasn't here, when Mariela have my spot, we work with a club. I can remember the name right now. I have it somewhere here, but no, we're actually in Spain. We're not working with any club. All right.
Starting point is 01:28:48 Let's see here. Have you ever thought of expanding your product loan beyond PC components and accessories, maybe adding console gaming to the mix? Not really. I mean, we think of everything, right? As I always say, right? We think everything. Who's spinning these questions?
Starting point is 01:29:08 God dang it. The cases are squares and flats. You can put the console on top of it. Okay. Okay, here we go. CSGO or Valerant? I'm a little CSCO. I'm a CSGO boy.
Starting point is 01:29:26 No, I didn't play Thias a lot. So I played more Valeran, sorry, but I don't know. Rainbow Six. No, Valorand, because I didn't play Sears. All right. Okay, so let me get one last question from former moderator Rat King. Favorite album in the last 10 years? Damn.
Starting point is 01:29:55 Imagine good questions. Wow. I have a problem now. So I don't want to think about this too much because there's a lot of albums out there. But I do have a favorite song at the moment. And it's actually an old song from two years ago, but I just dropped the link in here. I just discovered this band yesterday called The Lakesiders. and this
Starting point is 01:30:22 this song is going to be like my summer anthem from L.A.? Yeah. I can tell by the hair and by the bridge that we see in like every L.A. video. Spoil Heights.
Starting point is 01:30:38 Yep. I've driven past that like a million times. Favorite album the last 10 years? Honestly, I would say Kendrix to Pimp a Butterfly is like an amazing album. That's a good one.
Starting point is 01:30:54 Yeah, that's pretty dope. Or maybe it's been so many good albums the last 10 years, you know? Like, what was his name, Jay Coles? Whatever, whatever, Forest Drive. I always forget the numbers. That one's really good, too. Rosa, you got one? I was checking the dates.
Starting point is 01:31:13 Had I realized that I lived in the past? Damn. The albums. I can say one. I was thinking maybe you too because I grow with you too. It's like a personal meaning with my father. And I was, yeah, the album, all that you can leave behind, maybe it's from 10 years ago, and it's 20 years ago.
Starting point is 01:31:33 And it's, well, damn, I don't know, I can think about it right now. Sorry. I listen to a lot of 80s, 19s, you know, music. I don't know. Album, I can say it, sorry. That's a good question. All right. Actually, I got one more real quick from Tragley Snofi.
Starting point is 01:31:57 Have you ever watched Brooklyn Nine-Nine and what are your opinions on Rosa? Oh my God. Amazing. Look, one of my favorite or my favorite series is friends. I love friends. I'm crazy about friends. I watch friends like twice a year, every year. Last year I discovered-
Starting point is 01:32:18 Is we called amigos in Spain? No, no, friends, friends. Friends, Friends. In the first seasons, They call, in the intro, they say, Collegas. And he was like, oh, no, shut up. It's horrible, Collegas.
Starting point is 01:32:32 We don't say that. It's like, no, please, colleagues. Please clip that. Yeah, I'm going to. Collegas. So, no, no, friends. But when I discovered Brooklyn Night and I, it's like, oh my God, it's amazing.
Starting point is 01:32:48 It's on the level. So it's such, it's great. It's great. Amigitos. No, no, please. Bro's. I think we say more like bro than Collega, you know.
Starting point is 01:32:59 Yeah. I really like watching like Spanish language television here because whenever they like translate something, they have to make the decision, right? Whether they're going to say English with the Spanish accent
Starting point is 01:33:09 or they're going to just translate it, right? So it's always like, Los Amigos or something great like that. Yeah. It's awesome. It's my favorite. Friends. Okay.
Starting point is 01:33:20 So I delete. Okay, announcements time, community wrap up, and then we're ending this. Congratulations to the winners, Kutan and Keshov for the Discord Nitro. Don't forget to listen live to get free stuff. Set up of the week is Eye Monster. I think we talked about that last time. Design Contest number six is still ongoing, and I believe it ends this week. Starting point is 01:35:45 In English, they call me Tata de Né. Tadenae, but it's Tadenae. That's what I've been saying it in my head, because I don't think I've ever said it out loud. It was one of those things are like, you're reading a book, right? And like you read it in your brain and you never said it out loud. And then you finally talk to someone who's read the book before and you both say it like the completely wrong way. And like, wait, is it, do you say it like that or do it? How do you have been to me a lot?
Starting point is 01:36:13 And, oh, Rosa, do you want to, do you want to plug your your, your, your, stream? Oh, well, yes. Okay. Yeah, that's it. Okay.
