Starting point is 00:01:25 So it's just me Putting the show on my back As per usual You know how it be guys Sometimes you just got to You just got to get on there right And just do your thing So the guest
Starting point is 00:01:38 The guest is just me So I'm just chilling with you guys As always The show is live So if you all want to participate Hop on the Discord server I just hit my foot, Discord.j.g.
Starting point is 00:01:49 slash NZ-X-T. I literally smag my foot on my desk. I don't know if you guys heard that, but geez. But yeah. And if you want to interact with the show while it's not live, feel free to send us an email
Starting point is 00:02:04 at Clubcast at N-Z-X-C.com. That's C-L-U-B-C-A-S-T-D-com. Who does your back hurt from carrying the podcast? My back hurts from carrying this company. How heavy is your podcast? pretty heavy pretty heavy um so yeah yeah so we're just hanging out today just uh you know talking to you guys answering any questions you want you know we usually do this every now and then when just things don't happen and we still got to do a podcast no matter what um yeah if we want
Starting point is 00:02:35 to apply for moderation for moderation status um in the club uh check out uh the the the pins you have we have it pinned i believe in the announcements channel you have any Intel on purple cases. No, I do not. How is your voice so comforting? I don't know. I just it's my radio voice. It's not how it sounds like every day. Ask anyone who knows me when I'm talking normal like. This is not how I sound like at all. What company do I work for? It's one company called Next, I think. Nizzed, something like that, NCXT, I think. Some like that. I have the 3080 supplies affected people buying 1060s builds about one a month ago. Honestly, I have no idea. I think that just as an educated person, most consumers don't even know what the heck of 3080 even means,
Starting point is 00:03:27 other than it's a big number and it's bigger than 1060. So I'm assuming they send a ticket or they contact customer service. I'm like, hey, what's the difference? And then I'll just tell them, oh, it's a brand new video card. It's the best of the best. It has a lot of frames and it does good stuff. And they go, okay, that's cool. Let me just buy this one.
Starting point is 00:03:44 And then they just pick it up. So yeah. why does your cases have such bad airflow? That's not a question. That is a false statement, sir. And I would like it if you would just never ask a question again. No, I mean, it's something we talked about a million times before. Our cases are designed for negative pressure, right?
Starting point is 00:04:04 And they're not designed for the most optimal best cooling. And bad airflow does not describe anything other than just a personal opinion on what good airflow great airflow, exceptional airflow is. I would say that for most people who are going to be using a computer, building computer, our cases are perfectly fine, no problem whatsoever. For those who are looking to do really crazy like overclocking temps and stuff like that,
Starting point is 00:04:33 yeah, you know, don't buy one of our cases. I would never recommend it because we're not designed for maximum performance airflow, but that's not a secret. So, you know, I mean, if you're hoping that that's what you're going to get, don't do it. I'm just going through some of the questions here. Can I be a guest? Maybe. Anything's possible. What's your favorite puck color? Purple. Will you let me
Starting point is 00:04:55 sing? No. Favorite mod? Let's see who's on the list here. Me. When will NZC make a Rizumbo? Listen to the past 63 episodes and then you'll find your answer. We've scattered the release day of the of the AMD board in each episode, one word per episode. Be able to listen to every single one in succession. Boost up those podcast numbers, folks. Will you ever play Destiny 2? I do play, or I have played Destiny 2. I play a lot, actually.
Starting point is 00:05:27 I have a lot of Destiny 2 stuff. I have a Destiny 2 cookbook that was gifted to me by my girlfriend for, I was going to say Christmas by my birthday. Christmas is not around. And then a hat. I also have a little ghost statue that's getting to be by Mike, actually. Oh, so here's exciting news. I was going to say it here in the very beginning.
Starting point is 00:05:47 Congratulations to Mike. Michael Kim, our forever intern. He was our intern for our social media team, our community team, last year during the summer. And he recently joined the customer service team. So congratulations to him. Glad to have him back. You might have to steal him again, but we'll see.
Starting point is 00:06:11 But yeah, I mean, Destiny 2 is great. I just haven't played a little bit because there isn't anything to do in the game right now other than grain for old stuff. So I've really just been playing like Hunt Showdown and other games like that. What's my favorite Pokemon? It's always for it or Articuno because they're like the best.
Starting point is 00:06:26 If there's one thing you can change about your job, what would it be? Doing this podcast. Can you make a large H1 that can fit in ATX Mobo? I mean, then you can just grab like, that would be a really weird looking case. I'm actually going to fall asleep from his voice. You're welcome, I guess?
Starting point is 00:06:42 Should I do French work? No, do Spanish work. Spanish is a way more violent. Will you adopt me? No, thank you. I didn't have my own kids. Karaoke night event, when? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:06:50 Whenever we want to do them, I guess. Do you plan to make a peripheral line with headphones and mice? That'd be cool. I'm sure somebody's cooking something up, you know? It's like we say every single show. If you can name it, we probably thought about it and probably decided that maybe it's not the best thing for us to do or we can't find something cool to do with it. Can we do Christmas event with Pucci?
Starting point is 00:07:10 Yeah, why not, dude? Let's do it. Staffgate music. They do. they have headphones. We technically don't yet because they're not out, but we have announced the line headphones, yes. Favorite water brand.
Starting point is 00:07:23 Ooh, it's got to be that Gucci. Like Gucci. Is it Gucci or is it, or is it that makes it really expensive water bottles? I would get one of those. A Supreme Water bottle. Voss. Is it Voss? I don't know if it's Voss. I don't know if it's Voss. It's 60% keyboard.
Starting point is 00:07:39 You know, I actually have been thinking about a smaller keyboard because I don't use a 10 key when I'm playing games, but I do use it for work. So I kind of want to pick up two keyboards when it. Because I have a GMMK right now and there's no, the cord is not detachable. And my roommate always yells at me because the cord is not detachable. So when we're cleaning and stuff, I had to like unplug everything. It's really a pain in the butt.
Starting point is 00:08:00 Favorite Minecraft block? Ooh, it's got to be basalt. Because I just found out it was a thing yesterday. I was playing Minecraft yesterday and I was with, with, with the moderators, right? We have a Minecraft server that we hang out and just kind of, you know, group hang out with for a bit.
Starting point is 00:08:22 And he was like, hey, I'm making a house on a lily pad. Come hang out with me. I'm okay, cool. And then I'm like, okay, so I have diamond and everything. I don't know what to do. It's like, oh, let me make an underground sand bunker house. And literally everyone was messing with me in that house. He put literally a million bees in there.
Starting point is 00:08:40 I think spare scrub was like, like, just cut holes in the roof and stuff. it was a huge undertaking Tragg was flying on a pig You know it's just normal Minecraft stuff Aimed your intel The one that you like the most How do the Discord Night Show give away codes
Starting point is 00:08:56 Work for this podcast I'll give you the answer at the end of the show Do you have a French team You're in my favorite brands And I was wondering if what could someone do To apply for a job at NZX team France I'm not actually too sure What our France team looks like
Starting point is 00:09:10 We do have a French Twitter So, okay, I must have to tell you guys here. We're going to be tweeting later today all the regional accounts that we have, if they fit, I think. And we have one for like France, Netherlands, DE, which is Germany, Spain, Japan. If you guys haven't seen it, the N60 Japan page
Starting point is 00:09:34 is actually pretty lit. It's really, really cool. I think everyone's telling us that the person who runs it used to be like a distributor and he's really liked NZT a lot. And then he just ended up getting a job here or with us. And I believe all the regional teams are like on contracts. So they're not like, and I'm probably wrong on this. So like if anyone from the company is listening and I'm wrong, please let me know.
Starting point is 00:09:57 But I believe like some of them are like contracted out and some of them are like full employees. It's, you know, it's just depends on the needs of the company and like the needs of that region. So for example, we have like accounts for like, I think it's like a NZXT Balkans in. for like Instagram and stuff. But it's a very small market. So there isn't like a whole team. It's just like one person who does everything. They coordinate with their distributors there.
Starting point is 00:10:20 They do all the marketing. We do any social stuff. They do any community things if they want to. So to answer your question, I don't know what it looks like on the French team. But if you go to our careers page, it'll show. Or maybe just DM the French Twitter account. That'll probably be the best person to find out. Maybe they need an assistant or something, right?
Starting point is 00:10:38 You can help them with their tweets or something like that. Um, let's see what I'll see you here. Uh, I don't want to work. Good. Good. Neither do I. Uh, are you ready for the new cave update next spring? Dude, that new cave update from Minecraft looks super cool. It's actually part of the reason why I started playing again because it looked really, really awesome. And then I realized how long it would take to come out. So I'm like, okay. And never mind was my current personal PC specs. Uh, I have 9700 K, 2070 super, uh, on some Eoras board with the H510 elite, for air
Starting point is 00:11:12 RGB fans, the X-62, 32 gigs of RAM, I think it's ballistics. I think it's actually really expensive RAM, but I didn't pay for it, so I don't really care.
Starting point is 00:11:21 Like, if I had to buy my own RAM, I would not have purchased that particular set because it's not cheap, but it's, it's cool. How long with the podcast lasts for? As long as I can continue talking.
Starting point is 00:11:32 We know that there's going to be a Minecraft S&P, but that's not the question. The question is, when is there going to be a server? I don't know. You tell me. can you work at nzxte while in college we had internships last year i don't know what that situation is like this year i'm assuming it's not happening because we haven't talked about it yet i
Starting point is 00:11:54 think just because of the pandemic it's just you know like a lot of things we were planning to do had to change you know like we had to basically rework the entire company and how everybody works and the span of like a month and a half two months um you know so there's like a lot going on right now that i don't think uh we really have the time to even think about it And also the team right now that's doing our HR is also kind of different from last year. So like, you know, hats off to Nicole. Hopefully she's, you know, doing well wherever she's at now. But she's not with the company anymore.
Starting point is 00:12:27 She was great. But, you know, she was the one who was doing the internship stuff. And like now we have like a like a full HR team before it's people ops, right? And that was like more. I don't really know what it goes into it. right, but it's more of like a smaller simple team for a smaller company, right? Because when I joined, we were at maybe, I don't even know how many people we were at. But now we're like over 200 plus people.
Starting point is 00:12:54 Like we've done a ridiculous amount of hiring, especially for build. Everybody wants computers during the pandemic. Can you work at 16 the ninth grade? I'm pretty sure you literally can't. What's the best way to make money 13 plus? I don't know, win Minecraft tournaments, I guess. What a thing of the zombie wars and in Mont of Warfare? I heard about it.
Starting point is 00:13:12 I have no idea what it is. I have ever played Overwatch? I have. My favorite hero is Sambra, Genji, and Hanzo because they're very difficult to play. At least they were when I did. Can you talk about how much you want to raise to win?
Starting point is 00:13:25 The who's? Listen, I don't, first of all, I don't really follow baseball, right? It's a boring old man sport. It's going to throw that out there. Sorry, Ivan. I know you're not here,
Starting point is 00:13:33 but now's my chance to like talk smack on baseball. But I, I, baseball is just boring to begin with, right? I fall asleep every time watching it. Also, I don't like the Dodgers because I'm not from Los Angeles. I'm from Orange County, right? So I root for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim or whatever they're called now. But they've always played in Orange County.
Starting point is 00:13:55 So as far as I'm concerned, they are an orange county team with a identity crisis. Which I feel like is like kind of very, it's a very orange county thing to do or be. It's going to be like, yeah, you know, I'm from L.A. When people ask you where you're from who aren't in the state, oh, like where from oh i live in l a no no you don't you live in newport beach dude don't lie to me don't lie to me um but either way i i want the dodgers a win because west coast pride but also want them to lose because i don't like dodgers fans so there we go will there be n zx t poochy g fuel flavor that'd be cool i'd be super down is there an nzx t branch in canada uh we have employees who work in canada
Starting point is 00:14:35 regional teams but not like an nzx t branch like a whole whole office um shout us to smirsel He's really dope. I was trying to get some Discord ID and the member list kept shaking. It was so annoying. Yikes. Are you hydrated? No, I'm not actually because I had a lot of coffee this morning. How many employees is NZXT about?
Starting point is 00:14:54 We about all of them, bro. What was my first job? My first job was working at C's candies. And I still know how to hold a handful of little cups, grab the candy with a, like, wax paper and put it into the cup perfectly. You got to roll it. It's like a rolling motion. Imagine like you're like trying to roll like two balls in your hand, you know?
Starting point is 00:15:16 Like say like two cue balls or like or like some golf balls. It's kind of that similar motion. So it's more on your first and second fingers. It's a very minute, small, fine motor stuff. And you just start packing chocolates as quick as you can. That's awesome. What was the first childhood game that comes to your head? I mean, Mario was like one of the first video games that ever played.
Starting point is 00:15:38 But the first game that comes in my head when they think of just video games in general probably is golden sun probably the first first like RPG that I ever like got through to the very end is very very difficult how do you get in Minecraft tournaments
Starting point is 00:15:56 Google man why you're not hydrated I just told you is there a facility in Texas I think you might have a warehouse in Texas but I don't remember when is NXT kitchen appliance is coming that's where I'm doing the podcast from this is the N60 Waffle Iron what's good How are you guys doing?
Starting point is 00:16:13 How you ever played The Last of Us? I have and it was pretty good. What was it like when you first played virtual reality? So, okay, so I played VR two different times. One, so as this place called Two-bit Circus in Los Angeles, and they have this like full setup where it's like this almost like VR room. So you can walk around in the room almost, right? But it's not that great because it's like pretty, pretty,
Starting point is 00:16:41 pretty limited, but there's this game where like you're standing, you have the headset on, they give you a gun, and then you're shooting like zombies in the game. And, you know, once you're going to suspend your disbelief and like, you know, say it's a video game and stuff, then you're, you're kind of like into it and you're like duck in, dive in and you're like, you know, taking shots over like a barrier or something. It's, it's pretty cool. Have you played? Oh, yeah. And then the other time I played virtuality, it was like at home because Andy, I'm sure you guys remember Andy, Andy, Andy sold me his, I think, was his rift, his oculus rift,
Starting point is 00:17:13 and things like the two or something. And man, did I get super sweaty? That is, and also if you don't strap up a VR headset properly, especially the older ones, it's heavy and you feel it in your neck. Like, you feel the weight on your head. It's not very comfortable. So like if you lift it up a little bit,
Starting point is 00:17:29 you feel there's this giant weight that normally isn't on your head. It's, those things are heavy. I want to get a new one, but also don't have the space for VR right now. So you need to be a very particular setup to do any kind of VR. let's see here uh house covid it's it's it's i i mean you know it is what it is
Starting point is 00:17:49 have you played ginchin impact i have played ginshin impact um and it's it's a fun game i like it i feel like i'm a little getting to the point where like i'm starting to get bored of it because i'm not sure what else there is to do um like the content is literally kill everything grab chests right There are some puzzles that are pretty impressive, but I feel like there aren't enough of those to keep me entertained. And I have the same issue that I had with, like, what's that game with Breath of the Wild?
Starting point is 00:18:19 Which is, like, heavily inspired from, right? Which is, there's a cool environment out there, and there's cool things to do, but it's very, like, few and far between, right? It's one of those things that were, like, I wish there was more to do. And my biggest problem with Breath of the Wild was that, because they give you every single tool
Starting point is 00:18:39 in the beginning of the game, right? As soon as you start, you get everything. You can't really, like, be creative with, like, some of the dungeons. It's, like, just kind of a shame because you can't, like, if you play any older Zelda's, they'll, like, give you a new weapon, right?
Starting point is 00:18:57 Like, the hook shot, right? And then you can use a hookshot in very cool and interesting ways in, like, this dungeon. And then the next dungeon is like, oh, now they give you bombs. You do something really cool with bombs, right? because you have every single tool in the very beginning and the game is open world they have to tune the entire game for you possibly having all the tools at the same time right so a lot of the a lot of the dungeons end up being very samey all the puzzles are very samey um let's see here mostly got here scroll up a little bit played c sgo long time ago most frustrating yet most enjoyable game you've ever played uh most first thing most enjoyable game uh hunt showdown probably any BR in that same
Starting point is 00:19:40 that same breath right hunched down hunched on in particular because you die in like two hits right like two two three hits and you don't survive so you know the gunplay is very it's kind of slow it's a very stealthy
Starting point is 00:19:53 is game uh so if you get clapped do you get clapped very very quickly or by someone you do even know was there which i did by daylight i have I played a lot like a year and a half ago or something like that and then I just had recently recently playing again B told me to pick it up so we can play together And man, once you get past a certain point in that game, you get really salty too,
Starting point is 00:20:14 especially if you're playing as a, as the killer. Some of these survivors are the most toxic individuals They'll literally stare at you knowing you can't get me And they'll like dance in front of you. It's so it's so dumb. Once they know that you're not that great of a killer, they will just do anything and everything to make fun of you. Should you upgrade from 2060 super to 3070?
Starting point is 00:20:34 If you can find one, maybe. Yeah. How do you feel basketball? Basketball's cool. It's one of those games that I can watch at the very, very end and still feel like I got the entire experience, right? Because it's such a high scoring game that I feel like individual scores don't really matter as much, which is actually why I think soccer is a better game or football, right?
Starting point is 00:20:55 Because like every goal matters. And every minute there's this tension that any team could potentially score if one mistake is made. And then that's like the entire game, right? And then it's like the other team clawing their way back out. If you don't understand what makes soccer exciting, then I don't know. Then you don't have the attention spend, probably. Have you played Killing Floor 2?
Starting point is 00:21:20 Yes, it's awesome. It's like, I described Killing Floor, and this is maybe dating myself, left for dead if it was made by Slipknot. When will you sell NZEXT March? I don't know if you would ever want to do that, but I think it would be kind of a cool idea. Is there my name in Kraft tournaments
Starting point is 00:21:34 on bedrock. I don't know, man. It was a joke. I can't tell you. Where's Ivan handling some business? What is something a game does that ruins the immersion for you? That's a good question. I don't, I don't know. Runes the immersion. Rends the immersion. Having
Starting point is 00:21:56 multiplayer people in there, I guess, I don't know. People start talking dumb stuff. What's this podcast about? It's about anything we wanted to be. Right now, So normally in the podcast, we'll have either like a community guest now, right? Or we'll have like a guest from the company and we'll talk about their job. So, for example, when we have Andy, Andy's on the PR team or he is the PR team, essentially. We ask Andy, Andy, what's like to work with Linus?
Starting point is 00:22:24 You know, what's like to send a case to Bitwit? I've ever had an issue with, you know, with this person not liking this thing or this person not liking that thing, you know, how do you handle that stuff? So but because it's just for me today, just answering questions in general. What is life? Everything. Oh, yeah, there's a lot of toxic players in the community.
Starting point is 00:22:42 That's probably one of the worst things about the game. Assuming you're talking about dead by daylight because they have the ghost picture. But yeah, it's one of those things where like, the game is, here's a problem, here's a problem or my problem with dead by daylight, right? When you first play, when you first find out about it,
Starting point is 00:22:59 it's super cool. It's like, oh, man, there's all these killers and there's these abilities and there's, like, cool ways to kind of, like, interact with the game. But then once you realize how, how solved the game is, if that term makes sense to people, like how much people have figured out how to play the game, it becomes very, very unfun very quickly because you start to realize there's a lot of stuff in this game that really make the experience difficult for people who aren't like pro at like looping around a corner or looping
Starting point is 00:23:28 around a palette, right? Like it's it's fun for the first month, I would say. And then once you realized, higher meta of the game, and then it's no longer fun, and people start yelling at you and, like, sending you angry DMs for just playing the game,
Starting point is 00:23:41 how you think is a fun way to play it. Like, I'm not even like a top tier player and people would send me messages, oh, I can't believe you're using this perk, man, you're such trash. I'm like, what? Like, I just think it's cool. It sounds like a cool perk.
Starting point is 00:23:51 If it was broken, what would they put it in the game? Calling, imagine calling football soccer. I'm American, bro. We have football. But I'm also, I'm also Mexican, so I also call it football. There's killing floor,
Starting point is 00:24:04 but in Minecraft, high pixel. I don't what high pixel is, but it sounds pretty lit. Can we forced trog to live in Cali? I don't know she can afford to live in Cali. Cali is expensive, dude. It's super, super pricey out here.
Starting point is 00:24:19 FH4 just gave me unskipable 30 second ad for DLC. I don't know what FH4 is. What else you got here? Podcast or podcast? Yes. Will you make a motherboard for AMD CPUs? Listen to the last 363 episodes and you'll get your your information. Favorite type of music. I don't have a favorite type of music. I listen to a lot of
Starting point is 00:24:39 everything, but right now the thing I'm listening to most is Datarok and hip-hop. A lot of logic, because he always pops up on my Spotify recommended. What's your official title at NST? Funny you ask, we just went through a thing where I might potentially get a change. So it was social media specialist, and I guess it was community specialist for a bit, which is like, okay, cool. And then I guess now it's like, and I, I don't know if it's official, so I'm not going to say it. But let's just say for all intents and purposes, social media specialist, but I do a lot of community stuff as well. So we treat community and social very, very similarly here at NCXT. How many people ask for AMD EMMOs? A lot. It's great.
Starting point is 00:25:28 Are you hype for the new consoles? Not really, to be honest. I'm hyped for the competition they bring, but I play on a PC. So, I mean, to me, the consoles I never really had any bearing on anything to do with my gaming decisions. Doni console I was really, like, excited for was the Switch because it's a very great concept. And that thing is a beast. It does so much for being such a little guy. A lot. Let's see here. Who's more Mexican?
Starting point is 00:25:57 Ivan or you? Probably Ivan, because he rides horses. This dude literally was like one day. we were talking and it's like, oh, sorry, I'm not really paying attention. I'm on a horse right now. And literally everyone's like, dude, where's the picture of the horses?
Starting point is 00:26:11 He's like, here's the picture of my boots. And then you sort of a picture of a baby horse that he apparently bought or something. I don't know. High Pixel is a big A.F Minecraft server. Okay, cool, cool, cool. I should get all my parts of NZXT. Only if you want to, man.
Starting point is 00:26:24 That's up to you. You look at reviews, decide if that's something that you like. Is trog that poor to live in Cali? It's not that she's poor. It's just like, once you move to Cali, a lot of your money just goes towards living and not like doing other things
Starting point is 00:26:37 that aren't living. Biggest bullet you've dodged in your life. I would say one of my exes. I mean, just to be honest, right? Or I would say, oh, here's another one. Taking a job. So, okay, so I used to work for a company
Starting point is 00:26:57 that published a video game, right? And we were the publisher for the game, not the developer. Okay. So we had a very interesting relationship with the actor developer. The developer decided, hey, we want to start publishing this game in every single region except for North America. Right. And also except for console. So we were the only publisher for the game in U.S. and EU. But it's very clear that the publisher was going to start moving everything in-house, which makes sense, right? Like if you can have everything under one house, you don't have to pay, like, licensing fees.
Starting point is 00:27:31 You don't have to pay, you know, a cut for your stuff. like that. And the like pretty much like like like not the CEO but like the C CEO or like the the boss of the American arm of this developer contacted me publicly and like hey, do you want to work for us directly? And I'm like, uh, I said no. And I think it's probably one of the biggest bullets I dodged in my life. I probably would have gotten paid a heck of a lot more.
Starting point is 00:28:02 But I did not want to work with them. all. I don't think I would have had a good time working there, to be honest. I think it would have been really, really unfun. Well, NSIC create a Minecraft server anytime. If you guys pay for it, yeah. Can y'all move to SF? We have people who work in San Francisco. The cam team, a lot of the camp team like Jeff and them are in SF. And I think maybe snow? I don't know if snow is there. We need to have snow on the podcast. She is a interesting person, and I think you all would love her. she's hilarious. Do you think NXT has fair pricing for their products?
Starting point is 00:28:37 I think so. If you don't think so, don't buy them. Pretty much that, you know? When people ask that question, they're not asking you if I think so. They're asking me if they should buy something that's NZXT. And I say, do it because it looks cool and it performs good. I would say great. Some people don't agree with me on that, but my standards are not ridiculously high and everything works in my stuff, right? So, B-CAST? Yes, we will have.
Starting point is 00:29:03 beatcast. That is 100% sure I think that's going to happen. Don't even pretend like it's not. Let's see here. Okay. I say if I'm going to be overspending to be in the tech area. Yeah, that's the thing to you, right? Like, San Francisco, if you think, like, L.A. and, like, Orange County,
Starting point is 00:29:25 Southern California is expensive. It's something compared to, like, San Francisco. It's crazy, crazy expensive. And it's one of those things where, like, where like I'm not sure if it's even worth it you know like everything's so pricey like especially like in like a post-COVID era where you can literally work anywhere and so get mostly your job done like the need to be at a specific place these days is like even less so right so like for example let's say I wanted to work out I don't know what's a company that's in San Francisco, Twitch, right? I guess Twitch is an SF. I could probably do my job not being in their offices
Starting point is 00:30:05 on the computer, right? Because most work is all digitally done anyway. I mean, who needs paper and stuff? And even then, if you need paper, just fax stuff over. What else do you need? Just fax it over, homie. Send it over, send it over my way through the internets. Makes it really easy. Yeah, they also have a lot of offices. Yeah, that's too, right? That's also true. And I know that, like, Texas is becoming a spot where people should not probably be living anymore. I think a lot of people are moving to Texas now. It's like the next, let's make this place
Starting point is 00:30:35 expensive type area. So I had to try out the MSFSFS-2020. You can listen to the podcast. Microsoft Flight Simulator. I think that's what you're talking about. And do your thing, man. Do your thing for sure. Do your thing. Here's a question for everyone out there. Have you guys had questions
Starting point is 00:30:54 that like to keep you up at night? because I have one and I've never figured it out and the question is what do Pokemon do all day in that Pokemon? What happens when they go in? Are they in like a cryogenic sleep? Right? Are they awake? Do they hear everything? Is time slowed down?
Starting point is 00:31:11 Is it like, is like Antman in the in the quantum realm? Right? Does time move? Does time move but like at a fraction of the of the time or space or something? that's a that's a pretty crazy one to be honest i would say yeah think about that one for a minute what is a one in a million chance moment you remember from gaming uh i don't know probably some crazy gta five physics type stuff
Starting point is 00:31:46 why do people act the way they do when there is no return for them I'm not sure what you mean by that. I feel like that's either very, very deep question or a very, very undeep question. Do you find sleeping hard? Not always, but sometimes. That's what happens inside of Pokeyballs. Read Stephen King's the jaunt. I don't know if I want to you, man.
Starting point is 00:32:09 I might be afraid. I might be afraid. $4 per gallon in San Francisco. Yeah, I mean, San Francisco usually has a, I mean, I don't know, the gas prices out here are pretty pretty nuts too like $3.50. Around there, something like that. You know. On a scale of 1 in 10, what is your favorite color from the alphabet?
Starting point is 00:32:29 Yes. That was the thing that keeps me up at night and got to leave. Have a good podcast. Oh, okay. All right, man. Have a good one. Have you gone to an Airsoft Reno or Milsim event? Not really.
Starting point is 00:32:44 Personally, I don't find enjoyment and like glorification of that type of stuff. But, you do you, man. know it's a vibe you know if you like it no sim games i can't play i can't play millsim games i try to play arma dude that's thing's too too complicated it's way too much going on uh it's too big brain for me like a game like a game like genschen's already too much for me to figure out you know once you start adding stats and and things like that my brain just like my eyes glaze over and my brain starts going smooth i can't figure it out air soft or paintball so funny thing i was really in the paintball but i never went to a single air a paintball place or
Starting point is 00:33:19 purchase any paintball gear. I'll buy magazines and read all about it. I'm like, oh man, I want the spider, whatever the brand is. And then, you know, I never did it. It's, it's not cheap to get into that stuff. You know, Airsoft paintball. You have money for that. And especially as like a kid, your parents had to see the value in you doing it. And my parents definitely did not see the value in doing it. I wasn't poor, but I also didn't have like a lot of money. You know, we were pretty lower middle class so it was one of the things where like something like airsoft or paintball was something that was not within a obtainable reach most of the time because you know we're just trying to live our lives and whatnot like getting real deep out here what's three games who wish
Starting point is 00:34:01 had sequels okay easy easy number one legend of jagoon that gave me this a sequel underrated ps 1 jrpg hands down to half-five three obviously but i'm i think at this point no one's are going to nail like how good it should be right and then last game that needs a sequel is battlefield 21 42 because battlefield in a futureistic setting with mex is heck and dope it was so good i loved it that game ran terribly and they were like one of the first games to say they were going to add advertisements into the game and they never did so like the game took place in like a post-apocalyptic not post-a-buckold, but, like, post-like global warming world where you're fighting for resources, right? And, and there's this, there's this, you know, just like, you're finding in a lot of urban environments with, like, billboards.
Starting point is 00:35:00 And one of the plans was for them to add advertisements on these billboards. And for me, I thought that was cool because I was like, oh, dang, you know, like, they're going to make it more like real life, right? Like, it's going to, like, you know, the real life is going to intersect and then they never did it. So, I thought 3, Need for Speed Pro Street 2 and Need for Speed Underground 3. To be honest, and I'm a real with you, man. I don't think any of the Need for Speed games need any sequels. They've already made a but 10 of those games.
Starting point is 00:35:27 And honestly, I think most wanted needs a sequel better than Pro Street or Underground. Underground was only cool because of Tokyo Draft. Let's just be honest, right? The only reason that game was ever the thing was because Fast and Furious came out. You know, instead of doing the, you know, thing, thing, thing, thing. And everyone was all about, you know, drifting. No one knew about drifting. And, you know, until this was a thing.
Starting point is 00:35:49 No one knew that, like, Japanese cars existed, that it was all like muscle cars all day. Next thing you know, everyone's got spoilers and everyone's got, you know, these giant mufflers on their cars. And they're putting anime girls in their cars and, you know, yeah. Yeah. Favorite sports cars brand? I don't really have one, to be honest. I drive a Honda, dude. Zero first or milk first?
Starting point is 00:36:09 Zero first and then milk. If you don't like your milk getting soggy, then don't eat cereal pretty much. You can't avoid it, man. Are you excited for cyberpunk 2077? So yes, I am, but I'm also kind of cautiously optimistic because they're hyped in this game up a lot. And like, everyone's going back to, oh, the Witcher was so great. The Witcher was great.
Starting point is 00:36:31 The gameplay wasn't so great. The story was awesome. The characters are awesome. But the actual playing of The Witcher is not really that fun. If you don't have a story driving you in that game, I don't get a lot of of enjoyment from it. And I kind of feel like cyberpunk is going to be the same way
Starting point is 00:36:44 where the story is going to drive the need to play the game, the characters and the quests and stuff. But if you're just walking around in the world, it's all right. It would be cool if a game like The Witcher had some kind of, you know,
Starting point is 00:37:00 almost like repeatable style of content where where, you know, maybe you take on like Witcher contracts to fight various types of enemies, you know, like a griffin that's like, I don't know, fire infuse or something, stuff like that, right?
Starting point is 00:37:15 But I think that City Project Red is going to kill it from a tone perspective, from an environment perspective, from a character perspective, from a story perspective on cyberpunk, from a gameplay perspective, that kind of leaves a lot to be,
Starting point is 00:37:33 you know, seen, I would say. But I mean, you know, the whole idea of like a corporate-owned city slash California and like this post-dispopian-type world that, you know, that, I don't know, maybe just me. We're going to heading towards that like way
Starting point is 00:37:49 to, you know, like, just in the world in general for like a company owns everything. Could you imagine if there's like NZC City and like, you know, the boss Johnny owns a chunk of California because there's a civil unrest and he's like, don't worry, guys, I'll take care of California. That's right?
Starting point is 00:38:11 yeah i i i think i think the cyberpunk aesthetic and cyberpunk like atmosphere and environment is something that like definitely is uh uh something that could be done really well what game in your opinion has the most worst community oh that's uh that i don't know man that's that's a really good question um i haven't played every game so i i i couldn't say i would say every game has its own group of people that are not good in their community, right? Like, I'm sure there's, like, a bunch of codbrews who aren't cool to play with. I'm sure there are a bunch of Fortnite people who aren't cool to play with, you know, but at the same time, like, find your own community, find your own peeps that you want to play with.
Starting point is 00:38:55 Gmod. I don't know. I haven't played a lot of Gmod. I want to play, like, in, like, the open sandbox stuff, but not with other people on the servers. I'm trying to think it's toxic. I don't know. Dead by daylight has a pretty bad reputation for having people who are really rude.
Starting point is 00:39:08 I think any game that has inherent competitiveness to it, people end up getting toxic just because they don't like losing but they'll still don't like blaming themselves. So Russ is toxic for a different reason though.
Starting point is 00:39:22 Russ is toxic because the whole point of the game is like blow up other people's stuff, right? So I feel like it's kind of designed to be that way. I mean like just like a, and I don't know if it's toxic that's just like
Starting point is 00:39:31 that's just the way the game goes to be honest. Yeah. but listen guys listen up all right thanks for for listening really appreciate it thanks for all the questions surprising they can always just talk for like 45 minutes on my own or so without really getting tired and just always have something to chill is there a 277 craft coming out do that'd be awesome I'd be super down for a cyber bunk case I'm sure it'll look orange and yellow and blue if it was ever I mean like how's how it's going to look like right but hopefully to do some
Starting point is 00:40:08 stuff just like the the siege case um yeah but listen guys um it's been a weird morning at a super long meeting before the podcast that kind of like you know the reason why we were we were we were we were a little late here why this one's a little short and also Ivan isn't here and our guest uh our guess uh couldn't make it through you know um everyone's cool everyone's good you know just stuff comes up you know no matter what there there should always be a show so at the very least you know have some some cool questions in the back of your mind you can always pull out for a a special occasion. Before we bounce, though, don't forget, guys,
Starting point is 00:40:41 please send out community questions via email to Clubcast at n-Z-X-T.com. That is C-L-U-B-C-A-S-T-com. All righty. Just quick community news. Big congrats to Ghoster, aka Hozer, for their setup of the week. And last week's wallpaper of the week
Starting point is 00:41:04 is Ghost Gummies, aka not generic. Thank you for that. and we'll announce the wallpaper window of the week very, very soon, very shortly. If you guys have any questions about anything else, so we're still taking applications for moderators, so please, if you think you'd be a good mod, apply. Take it seriously, right? Let us know what you think, you know, you would do as a mod. I would say the biggest thing right now is people on the EU time zone side. We're looking for community leaders, right? People who can
Starting point is 00:41:32 can hold their own in a tough situation by themselves for at least three to four hours. Yeah. And then also, if you guys are, you know, we're still also taking applications. I think we always will for like the Pucci professors and stuff like that. If you guys think you'd be a good person, a good fit for Pucci professors, please apply. That's stuff for the hardware, peripherals, software, streaming. support and I believe camp channels. And again, same kind of thing.
Starting point is 00:42:06 We're looking for community leaders. We're looking for people who can usher these channels and make them friendly, make them open, make them fun. You know, because there's a lot of people out there who don't know anything about tech, who will like to know a lot about tech, who want to learn about tech, but are scared about learning about the ins and outs of, you know, the molecular makeup of a fan header, right? Like trying to keep it simple over here. shouldn't keep it simple. And then I would say other community news is Pucci costume contest is still going.
Starting point is 00:42:38 So for any champions out there, please continue submitting. You have some great submissions so far. I'm loving all of them. Personal favorite is like the one with the little Taylor hat. I don't know who put that one in there, but that one's super, super great. And then there's like this little Pucci with like a bone and he's writing a Minecraft pig. That one's great too. I don't know who did those two.
Starting point is 00:42:57 But those are like the best ones. But seriously, all of them are really, really cool. I'm really loving the creativity The champions are doing a kick butt job at that And also some of the employees as well Are doing a good job at that So, you know, thanks for that. You know, let us know what you guys think are the best ones
Starting point is 00:43:14 You know, just throw it in the chat, you know, Which ones you guys think are awesome These are all super cool Imagine they had mesh cases We don't mesh around, buddy Any design contests coming up So now at the moment, we're still Tell you what, I'm going to put it to you guys
Starting point is 00:43:30 If you have an idea for what kind of contest we could do, maybe not even a design contest, or maybe it is a design contest with like a different flavor. Let us know, right? You can DM either, you know, me or B or Ivan or any of the moderators and, you know, we'll take your thoughts and opinions into consideration. We always want to do more stuff for you guys, but, you know, I mean, I'm not going to lie.
Starting point is 00:43:52 The, you know, the design contests are cool. To me, personally, they're getting a little stale. And, I mean, it was like Nibler winning every time. but you know makes sense she was a great artist and she does a lot of good work right so what else could we do guys you know what else what else could we could we have Minecraft building competition that's cool I'm down for that let's just do is do all the stuff send your ideas to clubcast at n6t.com and I'll read him out live on the show and see what we get um banneabler from entering now man she's still a community member she still you know comes on hangs out there's no reason went out who's the best moderator uh let me just go down pick one off the list um you you're the best moderator congratulations Congratulations. He's been promoted live on the podcast. Let's go. Vote to kick and moderate. Oh, yikes. No, thank you. Anyway, with that, guys, I'm going to, what is this? This is not a song I'm allowed to play. I think that's it for, for the community news. I'm forgetting something.
Starting point is 00:44:50 I'm pretty sure I'm going to get a DM from someone saying you forgot something. Oh, yeah, this is what I forgot. Be nice to each other. Be kind to each other. You know, help each other out. Be good community members on and off the server, right? Keep it positive. Spread that. Spread those core values wherever you go. I don't care if it's your mom or your dad.
Starting point is 00:45:10 If your dad's violating Rule 6, make sure you tell them. Yeah, it's like, hey, dad, rule 6. Keep a kosher up here at home. Getting weird looks from the roomy. Like, what is he talking about? Halloween's coming up soon. Be safe, guys. Wash your hands for 20 seconds.
Starting point is 00:45:28 Soap up properly. Make sure that you prevent your milk from getting soggy. And make sure you read the fine print before you're purchased from nzixc.com. So you know that you missed out on a promotion or you didn't miss on a promotion. Let's all do better together, everyone. Let's all be nice. Still waiting until Alan bans me? Oh, imagine.
Starting point is 00:45:51 Imagine. All right, guys. Thank you for joining us. And thank you to everyone who tuned in. Remember to tune in next week at 10 a.m. Pacific Standard Time with the official. NZXT Discord server and follow at NZXT on all relevant and irrelevant
Starting point is 00:46:03 social media. And don't forget to send an email to Clubcast at nzxte.com. And as always, don't forget to listen to previous episodes on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, and SoundCloud. And share the show with the friend, guys.
Starting point is 00:46:19 If you actually like what we're talking about, share it. If you don't like it, then let me know so we can fix it.
