Starting point is 00:00:55 Hello everyone and welcome to episode 65 of the N60 Clubcast, the official podcast of the N60 community. This podcast is recorded live every Thursday at 10 a 10-N-Pacific standard time with the official N60 Discord server and it's available to stream on demand on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, and SoundCloud. So put on your blue suede shoes and let's boogie on party people. My name is Dennis and with me as always is Ivan. Only four more episodes to go before we start banning people for being. inappropriate in the chat. By the way, thank you for the mariachi music. I appreciate it.
Starting point is 00:01:31 Yeah, dude, it's a, you know, Day of the Dead, right around the corner or was there on the corner. I forget what Days it actually is. The Day the Day of Halloween. Actually, I believe it's November 1st, and then All Saints Day, I believe is November 2nd. Yes.
Starting point is 00:01:48 I think I told you, I went to a Day of the Dead event, right, at our old stomping grounds. No. I did not. I tell you, no. No. Oh. Well, our favorite restaurant at the office, domestic. Oh, nice. You know that little, you know that little Main Street right there?
Starting point is 00:02:01 Yes. So they had like a drive-through day of the dead event. So basically I waited in line for two hours just to drive-through in like five minutes and then get like and get some some candy for my daughter. But the cool thing is, you know, everyone that went through that line, they had to stop in front of that restaurant. Oh, right, right. And in that restaurant, there was like a Pucci doll right in the window staring out. So everyone that went through the restaurant got a good look at Pucci as they drove in through the festival. Yeah, I'm actually kind of bummed because I wanted to do a Day of the Dead thing. And I was going to send an end for that because I have this giant set up for Day of the Dead.
Starting point is 00:02:43 You know, they have like, I think like a whole block that's like just blocked off for that. And it's a really cool event, you know, like I don't do a whole lot of like. Hispanicy things, you know? Like, you know, we're like a celebrate my culture, so like it's always good to cool to kind of check that stuff out because I think that's really, really cool. Like I love Halloween in general, and Day the Dead's like great.
Starting point is 00:03:05 And like, what's that movie that Disney did? Coco. Coco, yeah. That's like one of my favorite movies. Like, it's so good. That's like the closest you'll get to your culture is watching Coco. Yeah, pretty much.
Starting point is 00:03:22 And eating tamales, right? That's what I'm looking for. Dude, I love tamales on Thanksgiving. My name is Turkey right now on the server, but I hate turkey. Turkey is so dry, dude. It's really bad. But every Thanksgiving, I eat tamales. And I actually help my mom make them.
Starting point is 00:03:38 So I'm looking forward to that in a couple weeks. Let's do it. So a special podcast today, as every podcast is, we have a very special guest. They're all special. But this one's even more specialer today on the show. show we have NXT moderator Omi hello me hello Dennis how are you it's good to be on I'm doing very good I woke up super early so I wouldn't miss this know how important it is so yeah I'm excited to see what we're going to talk about oh what time is it for you
Starting point is 00:04:15 it is like 10 past 7 in the morning That's not early. Yeah, it's not that early. 10 past 7. I woke up a few hours ago. Wait, wait, 10 past 7 in the morning. Wait, your time or our time? My time.
Starting point is 00:04:33 So it's 10 a. If it was our time, Dennis, would it be 7 in the morning? Yeah, it's a little confused. Wait, it's not 7 right now. Wait, wait, wait. Dude, fun fact, speaking of early mornings, today I had my earliest meeting ever at NZXT
Starting point is 00:04:48 at 545 in the morning. You know, I was not invited to that meeting. I purposely did not invite you because I didn't want to, I didn't want to wake you up that early. I could have invited you, but I was like, you know what? I want to let Dennis sleep in. I'll take care of the writing post today. I thought I was being sneaky because I'm like, oh, I'm not in this meeting. If I just don't show up, I don't have to do any work.
Starting point is 00:05:12 I didn't, you know, like we had all the launch stuff prepped already. I figured I'll let Dennis sleep in. I'm up at that time anyway. So, you know, why should two people suffer? Yeah. For me, it's not suffering. I kind of enjoy waking up early. So for those who don't know, we're going down to the bottom of the topic list right now,
Starting point is 00:05:31 but we did launch the Risen CPUs on BLD today. So that's why Ivan was up super early. I don't know why we're launching these things early and earlier. It wasn't last one like 630 or something when we launched like the RTX cards? Yeah, I think. I think it has to do with, at least when it comes to launching products that are not ours, I think it has to do with like embargoes being lifted because everyone pretty much announced this stuff around the same time. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:02 But usually when we launch our products, it's seven in the morning. That's like a whole coordinated lunch, right? Yeah. It was funny. Like last night, my wife told me, hey, I'm going to go to my sister's house early because it's her birthday tomorrow and give her some donuts. so we can't go on our morning walk and I said oh that's cool by the way I have a meeting at 545 in the morning
Starting point is 00:06:26 and she's like what because you know my my quote unquote office is in our bedroom so she was not looking forward to that and then she said do you need to set the alarm I'm like nah I'm good I'll I'll wake up and I woke up exactly 530 without an alarm look at that
Starting point is 00:06:44 Omi what's your normal waking up time Um Like recently Nothing planned You just get up I just All natural Sleep in
Starting point is 00:06:55 Normally like 12 Maybe one in the afternoon Dude If I have stuff on Then I get up earlier But it's just been pretty chill lately That's like
Starting point is 00:07:08 Half the day for me I think Like if I wake up at 12 I feel like Half my day's gone That's pretty nuts Yeah, that's really late. I think my natural wake-up time's probably like 8.30 to like 9 o'clock around there.
Starting point is 00:07:26 That's usually when I get up for work. So that's like my normal natural, not to worry about anything time. But yeah. So, rising stuff is really fun. But I know no one here really cares about that, right? I mean, who really wants to hear about harder, right? I don't. I don't think I
Starting point is 00:07:47 want to hear about hardware right what's a computer never heard of it Omi how long have you been around in the NXT community my friend I think
Starting point is 00:07:58 just over a year maybe a bit longer so I know whenever I first joined like didn't really talk too much like joined left joined back
Starting point is 00:08:11 and then eventually I just decided to start talking got to know some people, made some friends, and just went from there. And now you're a moderator. Look at that. How does that feel? Is it weird to kind of like to come up like from there and then now be at a moderator status, moderator level?
Starting point is 00:08:38 I think it's definitely something that I always wanted to strive for. did take a while but good things take time and I'm glad that I'm in the position where I am a lot of people to thank for it Did you know that the only reason your mod is because your name rhymes with homie? Well that's news to me
Starting point is 00:09:07 That was a deciding factor Actually is Omi like I've never met a person named Omi Is that your real name or is that your nickname more of a nickname just something that I decided to go with I have a brother-in-law his name is Omar and I call him Omi I was wondering if it was real and not yeah Omi the homie Omar right you get to roll those R's ummy can you roll your R's
Starting point is 00:09:42 um I mean whatever happens happens normally I don't know half the stuff that's coming out of my mouth. Like that water happens, happens. In your opinion, how is the community change since you've arrived? A lot of new people coming in. I know some of the older members, maybe some of them have moved on. Definitely, like with some of the new stuff, like the game nights and like the karaoke nights, those have been like big things like for the community to turn up to and
Starting point is 00:10:39 all the new ideas community-wise that have been going on. I think that's really making good changes and I've been enjoying. it. All right, nice, nice. What is some advice you can offer for those who want to get into moderation? Just know we have people ask that all the time. Like, how do I become a moderator? What do you got to do?
Starting point is 00:11:06 What kind of person do I got to be? If you're a super decent person, just be yourself. If you are a bit of a troublemaker, try stick on straight and narrow, you know, try not act out, be nice to people. Definitely just, I don't want to say like be someone who you aren't, but definitely just kind of like act like you, well, not like become a mini-mod, but like have good qualities and and just see where that leads you and maybe one day you end up as a mod.
Starting point is 00:12:04 There we go, guys. That's it. That's the path to success. You heard it here from Momi. Omi the Homey. Everyone's going to become a mod with my great advice. For me, personally, when it comes to, like, select the new mods, I don't even look at the whole, like, mini-mod thing,
Starting point is 00:12:25 or even if like, I don't even like care if they've been warned or muted or even banned in the past. We have a moderator right now who was previously banned. The only thing, me personally, that I look for is someone who is setting a good example. You know, like people, I know people change. So even if you've had, you know, warnings, mutes, or bans before in the server, like you could still be a mod. You don't have to basically be like a mini mod or anything like. that all you have to do is just you know set a good example and be good and help others be nice be friendly all that stuff and that's basically like the only thing i look for in for a mod but i have
Starting point is 00:13:09 no say i'm i have like the least amount to say when it comes to selecting the mods everyone that i want to be a mod i get denied i look at who has the funnest name that we can meme on you know that too like uh i don't like that mech just name over to Oliver because now it's just not like is that as fun right like we had macaroni and cheese and stuff like that and like that name's great but what can you do with oliver right i don't know someone someone in chat give me some good oliver puns and maybe maybe we can redeem mac right but uh yeah you know we have keo like trog like i know what the heck of trogl snuff is but i love it right yeah like i don't know what a coxsw is but it's cool you know
Starting point is 00:13:55 I don't know what an Aden is. I never heard of an Aden. I don't know if it's some kind of creature. Apparently he's also flying. He's flying from L-P-M-A to E-F-H-K. In real life or in game? In-game. I love him to see he's flying an airplane right now.
Starting point is 00:14:14 Yeah, he's really into flights to be later. Yeah, I know. We should have him on just talk about flights. I'm literally like the podcast will only be about flight sims. I kind of want to get that game, but I know my computer will blow up if I try to pray it. I don't think you can run it at all. Yeah. I would run like a 960 or something.
Starting point is 00:14:32 Honestly, that's probably the one game that would require me to upgrade, like, that I want to play. Every other game I want to play is my computer is fine, but I know that game will probably burn my house down. Yeah, I don't think I need to upgrade for anything. I just, I just won a 3070. because I heard it's a really cool card but those new there's new AMD cards are looking kind of spicy Want to see what's up with those
Starting point is 00:15:04 Omi, what are your specs, man? What are you gaming on it right now? It's a good question I do have it written down on a piece of paper This is like a computer that I bought off someone and they're like, it's good Like don't even worry Like I definitely need to upgrade
Starting point is 00:15:25 So don't worry about my specs now Worry about them when I've upgraded That's what I say to everybody When they ask me what my specs are Don't worry about my specs now Worry about when I upgraded That's actually a tweet That's a tweet D
Starting point is 00:15:38 Alright let me write that down My specs now Worry about them when I've upgraded Why is that so funny D I mean it's just the truth honestly Oh man I'm dying it's too good
Starting point is 00:15:57 it's like some like 500 IQ big brain a good one okay we'll steal that for sure definitely dude when you have upgraded what will you be getting I'm curious
Starting point is 00:16:15 what's your like holy grail computer right now no the best of the best I'm not gonna leave any box on check just gonna get the best stuff that I possibly can, whatever that happens to be at the time.
Starting point is 00:16:33 So you're getting H510 Elite, right? You're getting an N7 motherboard. You're getting a Cracken X-73. Absolutely. You can find some way to, like, throw it in there. Chugg says whatever runs a Minecraft best. It's probably good. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:48 Well, I can't even, like, play Minecraft on some realms. It's kind of broken at the moment. So maybe a whole new computer will fix that. Yeah. He doesn't go for like a super SSD, right? He just like throws into his brain and it loads from his brain into the computer. I use my knowledge to make my computer even better. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:17:09 Just runs off of my brain. It's going to be Kiwi powers, right? Yeah. So on the Kiwi computers. For you, Omi, what's the what's the funnest part of moderation? being able to ban people that's definitely pretty cool it's pretty great that's pretty fun um actually can we look up right now how many people omia's ban um there's a command yeah do we do we care if we show that stuff off i don't i don't know if it really matters to be honest um yeah we can we can do it in the mod chat i'm just curious
Starting point is 00:17:50 we didn't do right now we did in the mod chat all right Let's find that. It might take a little bit. Dino's been like, what was that ping? I think you pinged down yesterday. It was like 300. Let me see. Actually, you're kind of lack it, Omi, to be honest.
Starting point is 00:18:10 How long have you been around? I can ban some people right now if you want. Yeah, I think you should probably get on that. Actually, I kind of want to share this. I think this will be funny. Here you go. Here you go, everyone. Your stats.
Starting point is 00:18:25 I'm exposed. Those are Ricky numbers. They actually are, dude. I forget. I forget I was looking at, I was looking at, is it premium only? I'm assuming it's premium,
Starting point is 00:18:37 denial only. I don't know. I'll know that it's hilarious. It's a thing that it keeps track of. But the funny thing is that this is like, this is like, it only tells half the story, you know. Like, just seeing numbers,
Starting point is 00:18:49 doesn't really mean anything, unless you can, like, make sense of it all. I mean, I mean, you think about that. The less moderations that I have to do, the better the community is. It's like everyone's being so good that I don't have to do anything. Yeah, I feel like the community recently has been very, very good.
Starting point is 00:19:09 Yeah. Yeah, which is great because we're bringing in a lot of people lately. Jeez, that is 146 bands? Good Lord. You know what it is? It's because, like, I'm up really late when all the raids happen, and there's like 100 people who come in the exact same time and they're all raiding, spamming, like, the dumbest stuff.
Starting point is 00:19:26 So that's what it is. I'm pretty heavy on the moderation, to be honest. Just for the reason that we have the rules very clearly posted. We also have things in place to make us let you read the rules. We have community members who will more than happily let you know what's going on, right, and give you insight into how to be in the community. And after all that, you don't know how to behave. you probably should go somewhere else, like, to be honest.
Starting point is 00:19:59 I don't have time. It's not funny, but what's interesting in me is, like, people often complain that the rules are too strict, but they really aren't that strict. What is so strict about just, like, being nice and not saying bad words or posting stupid things, right? Yeah. It's like, that's really all you got to do is, like, just if you don't curse and you don't post NSFW stuff, and you know you're probably
Starting point is 00:20:27 if you do those two things you're probably never going to get a warning or a mute or a band pretty much it's like not that hard I was going to say yeah I think we talk about this every now and then
Starting point is 00:20:41 like it's really not the hard guys like just read be mindful you know it's real it is it's just being mindful um omi what in your opinion is the funest part of moderation
Starting point is 00:20:52 okay apart from having all the cool commands and everything, which is nice. But I guess that's not really all it is, like bringing the community together, being able to host game nights and help out in other ways that being a mod has allowed me to do. Definitely like seeing the community, keeping it as nice as it is. it's definitely one of the best communities I've been in on Discord straight facts um
Starting point is 00:21:30 oh facts yeah it's just been it's been good what is the hardest part of moderation for you um people don't seem to like it when they get in trouble for breaking rules
Starting point is 00:21:50 and they decide to call you some bad words but you just got to look past it and you know I'm here to do what's expected of me, and that's what I'm going to do. All right. And finally, what is one thing you would change about the server if you had the power right now? Hmm.
Starting point is 00:22:18 My mind's blank. Just. And why is it removing all the kecks from the server? What was that? And why is it removing all the kecks from the server? Oh, yeah, bang kick. If there's one thing, just ban it, remove it. I've had enough.
Starting point is 00:22:58 Is there anything else? All different varieties of kick, not just kick, like kick W, all of them gone. It's all I have to say. That's the one change that needs to happen. And then we're going to be on different levels. All right. I don't even know. Do you guys hear it here?
Starting point is 00:23:21 Only wants to get rid of all the cacks. He is the, uh, the cat crusader. he's going to make sure all the kecks go away. I am on the other side. I think we should double. No, I say we triple the kex. Let's get more kex in the server. The more than merrier, I say,
Starting point is 00:23:36 I am investing in the kex donks. And I think I'm going to come out on top. So take that, Omi. If you lose, you lose my friend. To me the best one win. All right, Ivan. Yes. What do we got?
Starting point is 00:24:00 What do we got for Omi? All right, Omi, time for the questions that are dumb here because they're coming from me. My first question for you is, are you having a good day, mate? Yeah, I am. You know, it's so funny. Like, there isn't the New Zealand role. So everyone thinks I'm Australian and everyone seems to think that Australia and New Zealand are super similar. but that leads me to my next question that's done is what is the difference between australia and new zealand
Starting point is 00:24:40 uh we're just better at everything and they aren't on the same level as us that's all i can really say about that have you ever been to australia no they have um yeah no i haven't they have like spiders and snakes that we don't have here. So like I'm pretty safe here. All right. Next time question is, where is Old Zealand? We don't talk about that. Move on.
Starting point is 00:25:15 Maybe. Okay, hold up. I had to like legitimately ask, how have you never been to Australia? It's like literally like you're right next door to you. Like the closest landmass is like Antarctica or something. Isn't that crazy? Have you ever been to Canada, Dennis?
Starting point is 00:25:30 No. but I've gone down to Mexico because it's closer. Well, technically, Canada isn't as close as Mexico is, so I just opt for the easier route and they get lazy to go to Mexico. I was meant to go maybe like two years ago for a concert, but that never happened, so maybe one day. Speaking of maybe one day, one thing that I want to do with you one day is play Among Us
Starting point is 00:26:01 because apparently you sound really suss. when you play. So my next question for you is why do you sound so suss when you're playing among us? Okay, I've been told that. I mean, it's only really coming from B. She's like, oh, you're so suss, you know, I can tell when you're lying. I mean, that was only a few games, but like definitely play for a long enough amount of time and you'll see that I can be manipulative and a really player, you know, probably better than spare scrub, that guy. got a bit of work to do on his gameplay but yeah so for some contacts there's one time that we were playing with omi and we're like omi we think you're the imposter and he's like no
Starting point is 00:26:44 his voice goes up like 50 octaves in that one sentence okay yeah that's true I kind of like outed myself there but I know one time I was actually telling the truth yeah I just got voted off anyways but like what can you do speaking of what can you do can you do can you tend to sound like an American. Okay, give me a little bit to think. Okay, is there like a sentence you want me to say or should I just? Yeah, it says the quick brown fox
Starting point is 00:27:18 jumps over the lazy dog. Okay, I'm an American. The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. That sounds exactly like every American I've ever bet in my life. Oh my God, it's crazy. Here you go.
Starting point is 00:27:35 Whoa. I'm tripping. I'm tripping. Oh. So my next question for you is, what exactly is there to do in New Zealand? Good question. So if anyone's planning a trip here, you have to deal with some quarantine like two weeks before you can actually really do anything. But like, imagine this is like normal world.
Starting point is 00:28:09 So there's Go watch the All Blacks play National Rugby team, they're amazing There's a lot of nature walks We have some really good scenery In Rotorua
Starting point is 00:28:29 There's the luge There's a sky swing The what do you say right now In the luge Or the sky swing that in the what? Rotorua. How do you spell that?
Starting point is 00:28:46 I'll type it in chat. I thought I thought he was like clearing his thud or something out of it was. He's like in the Rotorua. That's a really weird word to say. What is it?
Starting point is 00:29:04 So that's in the North Island. it's definitely well okay it smells like eggs because of like the volcanic sulfur is like yeah if you ever go there you can just
Starting point is 00:29:23 smell eggs it's it takes a while to get used to I've been to something like this here it's called a Yellowstone National Park and it's a it's a geyser it's the same thing it's a natural hot spring right or something like that.
Starting point is 00:29:40 Yeah. You think you can scare me? I've smelled downtown Los Angeles. That's true. It's pretty stinky. That's true. You know, one thing that people often ask us is what does NZXT stand for? And did you know that the NZ actually stands for New Zealand?
Starting point is 00:29:59 Honestly, that's what I thought for so long. I thought it was like New Zealand, like, extra tech or something. thing. Oh, I like that. I was going to ask you what you think the XT stands for. I like Extra Tech. New Zealand Extra Tech. I love seeing chat fly by.
Starting point is 00:30:22 There's a lot of people talking and asking questions. It's good to see the community engagement. New Zealand Extra Tech. What else could it possibly stand for, you think? If it was New Zealand. Whatever. wasn't New Zealand. No, if it was.
Starting point is 00:30:40 Like, if it was. Like New Zealand. What did the, what are the things for XT? Like X-ray tech. Honestly, like, what words even start with X? X.
Starting point is 00:30:58 Xilophone. That's the only one I know. X-ray and extra, but with no E. Yeah, that's about it. I don't really know what else I can think of. Um, next question for you is, are you a hobbit?
Starting point is 00:31:17 I mean, to be honest, my feet are kind of hairy, but I'm like too tall to be a hobbit. So like, I guess not. But that's something we are known for. Beautiful New Zealand where Lord of the Rings was filmed and The Hobbit. Yeah, do you ever visit like those filming? pigeons? I do live pretty close to Wellington, and there is some stuff there, but I haven't been, like, you know, you see all those pictures of the people standing by the Hobbit Hole.
Starting point is 00:31:56 I haven't been there, but definitely something I would like to do. It's like, that's really cool to live so close to such a cool, area where movies were filmed. So, yeah. Yeah, awesome movies. I would actually really enjoy visiting those filming locations. I think it would be interesting. Okay, Omi, my last question for you is,
Starting point is 00:32:27 how good are you at rugby? I used to play when I was younger. I would say I'd be decent now. I'd say I'm probably more of a wing. It's like I'm a tall, slim type so more of the faster never gets tackled, scores all the tries. Oh wow, look at you.
Starting point is 00:32:52 I'll be that kind of guy. A wingman. I've never understood rugby. I went to one rugby match and it was just, it was interesting to watch. It was cool. I just didn't understand any of the rules. Yeah, I'm more of a soccer kind guy these days, but
Starting point is 00:33:12 definitely got a support. Football? Football, soccer. Do they call it football in New Zealand? I mean, yes. No, they call it footy ball. That's the official name. You know, Americans, you guys call it soccer,
Starting point is 00:33:34 so might as well be all-inclusive. They can beat soccer, football, whatever you want, really. It doesn't bother me. I call American football hand-egg. I thought I'm going to start calling it. well make so much more sense like when they use their feet like to kick never well i guess would be ill for the most part yeah the kicker can call it football because like that's all he does but everyone else hand dig yeah i don't say like i'm looking at a rugby ball and oh it's not a really
Starting point is 00:34:08 ball but they look like actually i think they look more like an egg than football foot egg or actually no rugby should be hand egg then i guess Yeah, I don't know what the heck of football actually looks like It looks weird Because it's like super long And the rugby's a little bit shorter It looks like a football has been smushed in a little bit It looks like a chubbyer
Starting point is 00:34:33 Yeah, yeah It's chubbier Look at these, this is so weird Like I don't know what the It doesn't make sense in my brain the way it looks Yeah Like the shape of it just doesn't It breaks all expectations
Starting point is 00:34:47 Um, a good question about New Zealand. Um, me, um, isn't, isn't New Zealand the place where, like, the sheep outnumbered the people, like, three to one or something like that? Yeah. Yeah, you guys look at ridiculous. I'm not sure the exact statistics, but there's a whole lot of sheep here. They might take over one day, and that's definitely something that I'm scared of, but I think we're good for now. Do you just hear them? Like, it's like all the time.
Starting point is 00:35:16 like all time oh yeah they always like walk through my house it's a really big problem we're gonna get overrun by sheep I really can't tell when you're being serious you're not and I love it because your tone isn't change it's just like our country will be run over by shite that was my omi impression
Starting point is 00:35:40 that wasn't omi at all I don't know I'm very bad at impressions I can tell Anyway, that was my last question, Omi. Thank you for answering all my dumb questions. I think now it's time for the community questions. Dennis, do you want to start the Nitro giveaway now and get into the community stuff?
Starting point is 00:36:03 Yeah, you ask questions so I can set it up then. All righty. First question is, when can we get Keck Band? Right away. I'll start working on it. It's definitely top of the priority list. I'm one of the few people that likes that emo. I mean, I did like it, but I feel like it's been overused,
Starting point is 00:36:27 and I feel like something should take its place. You want to be honest, as much as a joke, I do kind of feel like it does something else need to come and replace Keck, because I just see it way too often where it's kind of lost all meaning, and I don't even know the point of it anymore. And, like, they're not even using the emo. They're just saying it. Like, does use the emot, dude?
Starting point is 00:36:45 Do you have the emotes? Like, do you want Nitro? will give you some stupid nitros to give you stupid emotes. Yeah. Yeah, Mike brought up a good point. It's like the new LOL. I can see that. So funny history about the word Kek.
Starting point is 00:37:00 Kek actually comes from World Warcraft because if you as a alliance player go and talk to an orc and you say, and they say LOL, because of the way the language system works in the game, you can't understand orkish. so Lull translates into Keck. And usually you'll see Keck as the horde player murders you
Starting point is 00:37:23 with five of his other friends because they're wusses and you can't fight alone. So you'll get down and then you'll see a bunch of keks being spammed in the chat because hoard players are cowards. That's the origin, by the way. Is it really? Yeah, actually is from Wow. Yeah, that's true. And also, horde players are cowards.
Starting point is 00:37:48 That's also true as well. Anyway. So maybe we only split things here, so. Where's a giveaway, Dennis? Don't worry about it. It's in a secret channel. You guys have to go and find it. Oh, that's actually a good idea.
Starting point is 00:38:14 It's finally, it's always an anime, though, but people never find it because it's no one everyone's together. I can definitely enter this in Winwright. Um, next question for you. Is upside down cake, just cake in New Zealand? Um, that's a good question. This is just like the thing. Um, some people would be surprised to know that New Zealand isn't actually upside down. It's more of an Australian thing.
Starting point is 00:38:50 Also, Australia supposedly doesn't even exist. So there's like, really? Two marks down on that. Yeah. it's just what people think what people think we don't exist because sometimes we don't get included on maps
Starting point is 00:39:07 so like yeah no there's definitely some maps out there that you can't see New Zealand on it's just how it is we get forgotten but like it's all right I don't take it too personally
Starting point is 00:39:24 oh my god if you Google maps that forget it out of out of finishes to New Zealand Yeah Like if you got If you got some cake I wouldn't mind a slice Out of context
Starting point is 00:39:41 That's hilarious Let's continue Do toilets flush the opposite direction over there? Yeah Everything works The opposite direction actually If we're talking about that You know
Starting point is 00:39:59 Maybe we are upside down Maybe we are Australia. You know, maybe that's why they forget New Zealand because we're actually Australia, but I don't know. If we are Australia, then Australia is the best, but I don't know. I'm confusing myself. Can we just go into the next question? Oh my God, this is so Reddit Maps without NZ.
Starting point is 00:40:24 Yeah. It's so good. What's your favorite food, Omi? definitely some good old fish and chips if I can't get that I definitely like nachos honestly I'm a pretty simple guy if it tastes good I'll probably eat it follow up question what are your thoughts on the kiwi
Starting point is 00:40:50 it's a great fruit it's a good bird even though they're pretty shy nocturnal kind of useless can't fly So it makes it good then Definitely got to support the Kiwis out there Whether that be us Because people get referred to as Kiwis
Starting point is 00:41:10 If they're from New Zealand The fruit Pretty decent I've had a few in my lifetime And the animal Pretty cool The next question here is for For Dennis actually
Starting point is 00:41:24 Dennis will you ever play phasmophobia I have played it before I don't like being spoofia very often. I'm actually playing through the dark pictures anthology right now, which is also another spooky game. It's more like story driven. But the thing I don't look about phasophobia is it like, I feel like once you figure out what like the game mechanics are, it's kind of very samey, right? You start pointing your little temperature sensor everywhere and then you start using the box to talk to people. You're like, A, where are you ghosts? And then
Starting point is 00:42:00 it talks to you. And it's like, oh man, you got to say bad words and I don't know. It's cool game. It's cool. I don't like being spooked too often. I see here. Other questions from Shaquille Oatmeal. Will you guys ever add more fun bots to the server?
Starting point is 00:42:19 So we've actually had talks about this. Particularly we had talks about this regarding the like Halloween bot that Discord put out a while back. By a while back like a few weeks ago. and we decided to know because a lot of bots have a chance of breaking things on the server a lot of the time and when you have a really big server like this
Starting point is 00:42:38 adding bots that require extra permissions or extra like you know, perms, same thing essentially kind of break stuff sometimes whether it's like they break the perms themselves or like we have issues like I've heard of like whole server is getting accidentally deleted because the bot had way too many permissions
Starting point is 00:42:57 and just went like bananas or something so yeah and also like those bots are cool for a bit but they get really spammy and they're really more fit for like smaller communities like our our server is our server in our community is awesome enough
Starting point is 00:43:14 that we have enough people who can pretty much be chatting on like any minute of the day and you've actually heard people say this like whoa you guys almost never have like an actual downtime it's like yeah we don't because their community is like super huge So yeah, bots are cool, but they're kind of get in the way. It cause problems.
Starting point is 00:43:33 They're a little spammy. And then kind of takes away from the actual fun part of being in a big server, which is engaging with a bunch of other people. So that's my official answer on that. Hopefully it is acceptable. Omi. Yes. Death Ridge wants to know, do you like a vegemite?
Starting point is 00:43:52 Yes. A lot of people don't like it. Well, Vigemite and marmite, they're slightly different. but definitely actually yeah no I don't mind it it's definitely something that takes them getting used to
Starting point is 00:44:06 I heard it's a definite acquired taste yeah it really is and sometimes like I see those like trying New Zealand snacks or like trying New Zealand food they always have way too much and they just have it plain like you're meant to have it
Starting point is 00:44:22 maybe with like some butter on some toes to something they just like get a spoonful of and eat it, that's definitely not what you meant to do. It's always a moderation, right? Yeah, a little bits at a time. It's like cinnamon where like if you sprinkle a little on like something it's good, if you like eat a whole thing of cinnamon, you're going to like basically die, right? Is it happens?
Starting point is 00:44:47 Yeah. Cinnamon challenge. I don't think of, I don't know if anyone's died because of veggie might, but I wouldn't be surprised. It's just way too salty and they just. Yeah, I don't know. Time to be the first one. Let's go. Okay.
Starting point is 00:45:06 Shaquille Oatmeal, again, where do these admins work from home? Question mark? Where are you guys right now during the podcast? I am at home in Enaheim, California. Ivan is in Los Angeles. B is also in Los Angeles. I'm steps away from the office. Yeah. Ivan's the closest to the office set up out of the rest of us.
Starting point is 00:45:29 He goes over now and then. Yeah, pretty much it. I like how that worked out. Like, we move into a new office, and I'm, like, the closest person, and all of a sudden we have to work from home. Can I just get a break? Lucky, lucky.
Starting point is 00:45:49 Tip giving, will someone ping this question? Yes. Deithrid wants to know. Do you know the Hakka? Yes, I do. are you are you allowed to do it I don't know how that works is there like
Starting point is 00:46:02 do they get it because I know it's cultural right like I can't just walk around the street doing it like I feel like people look at me like a dummy now you'd probably yeah you would be looked at it can't be a bit weird like normally it's
Starting point is 00:46:17 done before rugby games or at like uh we like certain events where people are like competing to like see who has the best hacker
Starting point is 00:46:33 Uh huh So yeah I uh I mean You can't really see what I'm doing So wouldn't really make too much sense of me doing it You just hear it So for those who don't know It is a ceremonial uh
Starting point is 00:46:52 Maori is how you pronounce it right Bence Uh But it's pretty good. Thanks, I tried. Like, you kind of pronounce it like, uh... Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, you can try.
Starting point is 00:47:11 I'm like, trying to think of what's the easiest way, but like, no. Maori, Maori. It's like... There's an accent margaria. I understand it like Māori bread, but it's like Māori. Maui? Yeah. I mean, I can roll my ars, you know, so, you know, I could do stuff.
Starting point is 00:47:29 Yeah, but it's a, it's like a ceremonial dance that's supposed to be like, you know, like, indicative of, like, your strength and stuff like that. It's pretty dope. Yeah. Go Google it. Like, it's really cool. And, like, get pumped up before a match. Do you ever do it, like, before you go to work or before you go on, like, a hot date with someone? You said, you know, just going off full, like, chest slapping.
Starting point is 00:47:55 Stick your tongue out. Hype yourself up. Honestly. It's like, I'm going to get that. I thought about it, but like maybe, honestly, the most respectful way possible. Exactly. Yeah, yeah, yeah, of course. Definitely could hype myself up.
Starting point is 00:48:09 Always, always respectfully. Mike, the intern wants to know, can you say Worcesters sauce? Worcester sauce. Warshister sauce. Warshisher Shire? Can anyone say that? Warshishishishire Warchester Shosh
Starting point is 00:48:33 Okay Um Can you First of all That that That stuff tastes really gross It's really good on Cut in itsada though
Starting point is 00:48:40 I don't know about that You gotta use it as a As a marinade You can't I mean You can just slap it on It's supposed to be used In cooking
Starting point is 00:48:47 I don't think you put it on by itself Awesome I can see you in chat Now It was like War Shishishishat War Chester
Starting point is 00:48:55 Chir Yeah I think I think people was called like Warchister sauce and then you just leave it at that. Ollie wants to know, can you pronounce Irish
Starting point is 00:49:06 wristwatch? It's crazy. It's my tongue. What do I have to say it ten times really fast? No, just say it once. Irish Ristwatch. Irish wrist watch.
Starting point is 00:49:21 Brad wants to know. Are we just going to do tongue twisters now? Brett wants to know, when is admin versus mod hunger games in Minecraft? I don't know definitely something we could sort out if someone's mentioning
Starting point is 00:49:37 that they want to see like who's the best mod by virtue of like a video game or something and I was trying to think like what's a good cool thing we can do that doesn't require people to play at the same time that you can run a bracket off of just to see like who's the best quote unquote the best
Starting point is 00:49:51 let's see here yeah maybe we'll do that one of these days do trim wants to know do you like the new 5,000 thousand series CPUs from AMD. I'll be real with you, dude. I don't know anything about CPUs, but they look cool. And if you like them, I'm very happy for you.
Starting point is 00:50:09 And I'm happy for all the AMD bros out there who are just happy to be building with the non-intel chip. Because, you know, why not, right? I remember, like, building with an Athlon 64 processor. That was, like, the coolest thing ever. Like, oh, snap. Like, this is a new company. It's called EMD. They make these chips are so dope, dude.
Starting point is 00:50:28 And then, like, no one cared about him for, like, 20 years. It's kind of weird, as someone who's been building as long as I have, to, like, see AMD come up again, and people are, like, actually talking about them and actually get excited for, like, their new products. It's been a long time. It's been a super long time. Yeah, actually, I remember one of my favorite subredits
Starting point is 00:50:50 a couple years ago used to be the AMD subreddit for all the memes. Yeah. But it's like those memes are not really relevant anymore. Um Hyper wants to know who is your favorite music artist Omi you first
Starting point is 00:51:06 please your favorite music artist Definitely logic No thought needs to go into that All right Podcast over All right Bye guys Thanks for joining us
Starting point is 00:51:16 See you next week I think that's Trog's favorite artist as well If not then Drake Because that's like the only Canadian artist That there is So
Starting point is 00:51:29 running through the six with my woes. That's literally Chaggart that she's running through the six with her woes. You know how that stuff goes. I don't know if I have a favorite artist. To be honest,
Starting point is 00:51:45 I just like a lot of music from a lot of people. It's bad bunny, don't lie. Bad bunny, yeah, yeah. Bad bunny's really cool, though. He's actually like a really cool dude. Pretty woke, pretty inclusive. I like that about him. Kind of does his own thing.
Starting point is 00:51:59 which is funny that like just like I don't know anything about that guy other than I just hear the name Bad Bunny I'm like I didn't know want to hear his music I know it's like like a regga phone right It reminds me When you hear Bad Bunny it reminds me of
Starting point is 00:52:13 It reminds me Daddy Yankee And he had like that crew Lunitunes That's another name I hear the name Daddy Yankee And I already know I'm not gonna like that music Did he's a great name though Because it's not even from like America
Starting point is 00:52:24 It's from Puerto Rico I think that's like the joke in it right I wonder I wonder if his name's like a protest Daddy Yankee Jay Balvin's told his style I mean they all kind of stole each other's style to be honest I can't really tell
Starting point is 00:52:42 I can't really tell one regga tone artist from another right to me they're all kind of the same they all sounds very very similar I miss the glory days of Daddy Yankee oh Lord I don't know if you really have any any another
Starting point is 00:52:56 another name that I just hear and I know I'm not going to like their music is Pitbull Mr. Worldwide Mr. Worldwide. Bro, how do you like Mr. Rewind? I can't name anything
Starting point is 00:53:08 Bad Bunny, Daddy Yankee, or Pit Bull just based on those names alone. I just don't I just don't listen to that music. Tell me you don't love this dude. This is like the best thing ever. Hey, hey. BMCA strikes, let's go.
Starting point is 00:53:27 I don't know how that applies to podcast, but we should probably figure that out soon. Someone's going to come after this one of these days. I think we should be good, honestly. Yeah. Someone's really picking out clip of a song from like, you know, however many hours, I think. I think we're good.
Starting point is 00:53:46 Yeah, I don't know if really have like a favorite, favorite artist. Like, there are groups that, like, I look to and, like, I wait for music to come out from and I listen to. It's like, I would say, like, bands I really like or like anything from Best Coast, whenever they put anything new out, I'm always about it. Young, the Giants, really lit.
Starting point is 00:54:03 I was listening to New Lady Gaga, but I miss old Lady Gaga. I would say Mac Miller was one of my favorite artists, but he didn't make music more. Lady Gaga's another name I hear, and I already know I'm not going to like that music. It's like, I don't know any Lady Gaga of songs. That's pretty fair, though.
Starting point is 00:54:18 Like, to be honest, like, I'm not like, you know, I'm not going to be surprised if someone hears Lady Gaga and they instantly think no. Kendrick, right? I say Kendrick. Anything he puts out, I'm like instantly on. Big crit. I like a lot.
Starting point is 00:54:34 I would say Snoop, but Snoop, I don't know what the heck Snoop's doing these days. He's going from reggae to gospel to all kinds of stuff. He does whatever he wants. Omi, how about you? Who's your favorite artist? He said logic. Logic? Yeah, logic.
Starting point is 00:54:49 Next question. Yeah, forget. Done. Let's go. Nobody asked me my favorite artist. I just told you all the people I hate. maybe that's the only thing you have in your heart is just hate Ivan no I love you know what I love music man actually Dennis
Starting point is 00:55:04 Dennis got me recently um an album so I actually met up with Dennis Hope and I know Dennis and Amanda last week but Dennis and Hope got me some gifts and then Amanda too but Dennis got me a a purple a limited edition purple album of Nirvana Unplugged in New York.
Starting point is 00:55:28 I've been listening to it nonstop since I got it. Is it actually a limited edition? Yeah, well, that's what the table said. Usually when it's colored vinyl, yeah, it is limited edition. Okay. I know, I just saw it.
Starting point is 00:55:40 I'm like, I know you probably don't have it and I know it's a really good album, so why not? Yeah, I'll post a picture of it right now in podcast chat. But Nirvana is definitely one of my favorite bands. But my all-time favorite band it's going to have to be the Smiths. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:57 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Thank you again for that record, man. No worries, man. I was thinking of you. That looks awesome. You know it's better than the Smiths, Mexican smiths. Losis Smiths.
Starting point is 00:56:20 It's a funny thing. That was the first. Spanish rock is awesome, man. Spanish rock is hilarious. I don't know if you're on this way yet, but there is a huge group of like a Latin alt rock kids on TikTok and it's great dude it's like basically all that same music it's like the stuff I grew listening to for my mom it's great yeah I think I would not have a real long conversation about the Smiths one day
Starting point is 00:56:47 I forget I forget do you do you dislike or do you like Morrissey I forget if you hate him or not because I feel like he goes away right I love Morrissey too but to me the Smiths are much better. It's a much better band musically than anything more he ever did solo-wise. Dang, dude. It's like that, huh?
Starting point is 00:57:08 Yeah, for sure. And the reason is very simple is because you know, Johnny Marr, probably in my opinion, the greatest guitar player of all time. Huh. Okay.
Starting point is 00:57:23 He's so good, he can't even replicate a lot of the riffs that he wrote back in the day for the Smith. Seriously. Like, that's how amazing the stuff he wrote is, like, so hard to play. I'm not going to bet you on that just because, like, because, you know, he, I don't know that much, but I'm kind of willing to bet there's, like, a lot of people who are way better guitarist than him, but I don't know, right, because I haven't, like, looked into it. But when I hear, like, you know, greatest guitarist of all time, I never hear his name pop up. I wonder if that's because, like, maybe, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:58:04 Definitely. Like, you just search Johnny Marr, Gary's guitar player. Like, you'll see a bunch of articles about that. I think the reason, too, why he's not mentioned, like, alongside Jimmy Hendricks or, I guess who else, like Stevie Ray Vaughn or whatever. It's just because his style was very different. And the Smith, they're also very underrated
Starting point is 00:58:28 in terms of, like, the influence. they literally influenced I would say every 80s, 90s, indie rock band out there but not many people really know that because the Smiths were only a band for I believe six years
Starting point is 00:58:43 we only have four albums so yeah Johnny Moore man I'm going down his list here I see like the usual's right like Slash and Beck and you know Richard Blackmore
Starting point is 00:58:59 Eric Clapton Eddie Van Halen Jimmy Page Carlos Santana I feel like Santana comes out of a hole every five years puts that one song
Starting point is 00:59:14 with like a famous artist and then like goes back in that hole with his millions of dollars I don't know what that guy does He plays guitar man He lost his voice I think Is out of this?
Starting point is 00:59:25 Yeah I think that's why he plays guitar And like people sing over his music Lost his voice in terms of like he just can't sing anymore or like he literally... I believe he just lost his voice. Like something's wrong with his voice if I recall correctly.
Starting point is 00:59:38 I haven't been to look for like a Santana like documentary because I want to know more about this guy. He's so interesting to me. He's like... He's like... I never hear about him until something comes out
Starting point is 00:59:52 and it's like a collaboration with like I don't know like slip knot or something right? He's like... Santana plus slip nut. And it's like... the greatest album all time and then like he just goes away and doesn't do anything forever and then he just pops out.
Starting point is 01:00:07 But anyway, we had to move on folks because we're running a little short on time here. So for those who want to ask more questions that are not available, please send an email to Clubcast at nzxc.com. That is c, L-U-B-C-A-S-T at n-X-T.com. If you want to know how to spell that, that's New Zealand ExtraTech.com. checked it out True And let us know
Starting point is 01:00:33 What your deepest questions are Community Roundup stuff So first and foremost We ended the Pucci costume contest Last weekend Yes The holiday season So congratulations to the winners
Starting point is 01:00:46 The winners for that contest Were Let me scroll up We had a lot happening Fish was number one With Farmer Pucci Dark Year 1 with Pumpkin Pucci And Captain
Starting point is 01:00:59 Nutella went with Pucci fried chicken. Thank you to everybody else who participated. It was a really cool event. Thank you again to B for making us do it because we literally just didn't have anything planned. She's like, hey, I have an idea. And we're like, yeah, what is it? She's like, how about a Pucci Cosmon contest?
Starting point is 01:01:17 I'm like, that's an amazingly simple, smart idea. I don't know why we didn't think about it. Yeah, so I would say success, you know. Congrats to the champions. Thanks to everyone for participating and following the rules. I really appreciate that. Setup of the week is Lucas. Congratulations, Lucas.
Starting point is 01:01:34 I'll bug you later about getting your information on there. Someone just ping me. Wallpapers to be to be announced soonish. Another cool, interesting, fun, I guess news is one year of mech. We recently hit macaroni and cheese. Oliver's one year of moderation. I think he's officially our oldest moderator now. Like oldest in terms of like seniority in the server.
Starting point is 01:02:07 So congrats to him. Everyone tag him and confuse the heck out of him, please. Because I know he's not listening. But, you know, congratulations to him. He started off when he was an apprentice, which is basically like a mini mod. And then, you know, we upgraded him to Big Boy Mod status. And, you know, it's been with this for a while now.
Starting point is 01:02:28 Hopefully that continues. That doubled up. Also, we launched AMD Verizon on BLD. That's the 5,000 series. We don't have all the chips in yet, but we have, let's see, which ones do we have, Ivan? Do you remember which ones we have for? I don't know.
Starting point is 01:02:49 I tune that stuff out. I'm just kidding. There's a... I'm talking to the link. Get the wrong link. Don't click on it. Let me fix it. The 5,800X and the 5950X will be out soon.
Starting point is 01:03:05 But for now, we have the 5600. So check it out on BLD. Yeah, the 5950X sold out already today, I believe. It was available this morning, but we'll get more of that soon. That's the big boy. That's the 16 core one. It looks like right now we have the 5600. But I'm sure we're going to get more.
Starting point is 01:03:28 like today and the rest of the week. You said that the 595 was sold out? It was available this morning and I'm looking now and it says coming soon, so that means it sold out. Okay. Okay. That's always confused by it. I thought the coming soon meant we don't have them yet.
Starting point is 01:03:47 They'll be here soon. No, no, it was available this morning. Got it. Got it. Dang, that's pretty crazy. It actually sold out pretty quick, I think, in the first 10 minutes. I mean, people have been bugging about. those for a while now.
Starting point is 01:04:00 Yeah. Yeah, but do you have the old ones too, so there's one we put it, add more of those. Okay, cool. Go get a computer, guys. NZT computer. Yes,
Starting point is 01:04:14 user. NXT. User tracking link. User tracking link. I think it was I was telling me that saying NZXT in Spanish is like really, really difficult because none of the letters are easy to say.
Starting point is 01:04:28 It's like Z. Z, doesn't even doesn't even like confuse me at all. It says that messes with me. Oh wait, do people all tag the wrong Oliver? No. Okay, I was curious. Oh, they did.
Starting point is 01:04:39 Some people tagging the wrong Oliver's. This is why you change his name back, dude. I don't know why it's Oliver and go back to Mac. God dang it. Also, people should be arriving, should be receiving their lanyards and stickers from previous weekly contests. And I believe the purple shirts have made it out as well.
Starting point is 01:05:00 So we hit everyone up to ask if they wanted purple shirts or not. It just so happened they got sent around the same-ish time. But yeah, so purple shirts are all gone. No word when they'll be back. So for now, it's lineyards and stickers. If you want to see what they look like, I believe of a photo on my desktop I can drag onto here as I do. Here you go.
Starting point is 01:05:22 Wait, no, that doesn't work. I saw some people posting pictures of the new stickers in the new lanyard that they got. Yeah, that's cool. I think they look very cool. Yeah. The sticker pack is like, it's like a one sheet with different sizes, which I think is really, really neat. Because before it was just the one-size stickers, right?
Starting point is 01:05:42 But now you can stick these kind of wherever you want. So it's pretty cool. Post it a pick of me wearing it with my shirt. Ooh, nice. And then see what else. I think, oh yeah, probably the most importantness news, in my opinion, is we have a new Poogey's pick. and it is Ben or Bevan.
Starting point is 01:06:01 I don't know how to pronounce his name. I always say Bevan in like my head, so I just say Bevan now forever. But congratulations to them for being our Poogey's pick. Super, super happy for them. Long time coming. You can see his name hoist on top of the server right under the moderators.
Starting point is 01:06:18 So congrats to them. How do you get stickers? I have one more announcement. Oh, yeah. What is it? Don't forget every Wednesday in the streaming channel. Oh, yeah. 4 p.m. We have streaming office hours with Alex Chan,
Starting point is 01:06:34 aka Mushu Beef. And Alex, he's our product marketing manager here at NZXT for streaming. And he's very knowledgeable about anything related to streaming. I think if you tune in next Wednesday, you know, just his audio and video quality. Like I was telling Dennis yesterday, like, why can you make the podcast sound like this, man? It's like amazing. And so anyway, it'll be a bit of a cost.
Starting point is 01:06:58 any questions about like streaming like he's the deed to ask he'll definitely help you out yeah mech voice equals very deep true um yeah uh yeah if you guys want to learn how to stream or curious about streaming definitely hit him up um you can also ask him in the streaming channel as well just a exclamation point question and it'll it'll it'll it'll ping him so yeah help them help him help you um you know yeah we're trying to actually get more There's a patient, too, on that streaming channel. One thing we were thinking is doing more, like, Q&A, but coming from him to the community.
Starting point is 01:07:39 So, you know, hopefully soon, maybe even next week, Alex will have, like, stuff that he wants to ask you guys, not just you asking him about streaming. I'll say we should just put him on Twitch. I mean, he has a setup, right? He can just stream to it. That's what we're talking about. So we don't.
Starting point is 01:07:55 Actually, I have a funny story, but quick. Okay. So after the streaming hours were over yesterday, it was just me, Alex, and Jeff Gort, who hopped on the chat, you know, Cam, product marketing manager. And we were actually chatting about, you know, like ways to get the channel with more participation from the community and whatnot. And then just as we were talking about that, my wife comes running into my room here, holding my daughter. going Ivan, Ivan, help me, help me. Like, what, what happened? My daughter was choking on Atlostava.
Starting point is 01:08:34 How's that funny? Yeah, so I was like, I like rushed away from the computer and I was, my mic and camera were still on. So like, Alex and Jeff had no idea what the heck was going on. And when I came back, they're like, what happened, dude? And I just told them, they told me that they thought it, that I was getting kidnapped or something. So I wish I was doing recording it, but yeah.
Starting point is 01:08:58 But my daughter's fine A fun story at all It sounds like a non-funn fun story Well it was funny in the sense that Like I went back to give him an update I was like oh sorry guys My daughter was choking I'll be right back
Starting point is 01:09:11 Like dude why are you talking to us right now Go take your daughter So you guys Dude by the way A funny story My daughter almost died Ha ha ha She didn't almost die
Starting point is 01:09:22 This is the first time She's ever choked On anything Really And, you know, we got it out pretty quick. This is daddy humor. Yeah. Glythe is she's doing fun now.
Starting point is 01:09:37 Yeah. Well, I guess it's not a funny story, but I'm just glad she's okay. I mean, if my wife is listening, honey, it's not a funny story, okay? There you. That's a pin right there. Okay. Congrats to the winners of the giveaway bot stuff. we'll keep an eye out in your DMs for a secret, secret messenger to give you your, your
Starting point is 01:10:02 Nitro. Yeah, I think that's it. Again, nothing else, right guys? We're done. Are we good for sleepies? I'm tired. I'm literally going to take a nap after this. I'm not lying, dude.
Starting point is 01:10:14 I'm going to go take a nap whenever this is finished. You've been there for like 20 hours, though. True. Honestly, we were listening to music before this started. We did. That was great. Yeah, I was playing some really dope. stuff. Can I find it again?
Starting point is 01:10:29 I'm going to meet this and I don't break it. I was something I know Trug was saying when is a like a mod among us game going to happen
Starting point is 01:10:43 I was like you should get on that as soon as possible I don't think it's happened yet yeah I don't think we've had like all the mods on we've had like some mods with community members mixed in but not like all the mods I think we have enough, right? If everyone, if everyone participates,
Starting point is 01:11:01 participates. Yeah, we can always get, like, a few other people. Yeah. All right. Time to hype everyone up. Oh, did it close my, oh, no, I think I closed my, I closed the window, shouldn't have closed. No, I didn't.
Starting point is 01:11:15 There it is. Life is hard, guys. Don't, don't, don't not drink coffee. Drink coffee every day. It helps with your brain stuff. That's what I heard. The coffee's really good for your brain. It helps.
Starting point is 01:11:27 you process stuff better. Anyway, Omi, my friend, thank you for joining us. In us, my friend. Thank you for having me on. It's been great. Sorry, the way you said that, it was like there was more free to say,
Starting point is 01:11:45 and then you just stop. I heard something. I was looking to see what it was, but... Yeah, is it spamming? Honestly. I think I might just spam something. Maybe that. No, okay. Anyway,
Starting point is 01:11:57 Omi, thank you for joining us, and thank you to every... everybody who tuned in, remember to tune in next week at 10-HN-Pacific Standard Time in the official N-Z-T Discord server and follow at N-Z-T on all relevant social media. And if you don't mind, send an email to us, guys. Ask us a question. You guys know what email is? So email is this thing where you should be able to send people a message, but they need
Starting point is 01:12:17 to read it right away. They could read it like after the fact, right? Like maybe like a day or two or like with me, I just don't read them. Don't read my emails at all. To Clubcast at nzicc.com. That's C-L-U-B-C-A-S-T-T-com. Send us an email, asks us a question, whatever the question can be.
Starting point is 01:12:39 Going through the questions right now, since we can have publicly blasted that email. I think I was going to do it on Twitter, Ivan. I want to see what I get. I want to see what questions I get. Do it. Yeah, it's going to be bananas. But we put it on the description for the podcast.
Starting point is 01:12:58 and now we're getting ads like, oh, you know, yo, bro, I heard your or I heard your tracks on SoundCloud and I think I can take it the next level. I'm a record producer. I'm like, this is a podcast. Like, what are you? Are you serious? Yeah, here, watch.
Starting point is 01:13:12 Let me read one. Let me find it here. New music. Hi, I hope you don't mind. I hope you don't mend me writing you like this. I found your email on your SoundCloud profile. I've been running an online record level for over 10 years now,
Starting point is 01:13:27 and I am starting a music production blog where I will be posting about promoting your music how to utilize, misspelled, of course, various websites, and on other topics I have learned over the years. The music industry has changed a lot in recent years with power of home computers and the technological advances in software.
Starting point is 01:13:46 The cost of getting in the music business are now next to nothing. With websites like SoundCloud, Bank Camp, B port, and all the rest, getting your music out there to an online audience of millions is just a matter of clicks. But with this ease, also comes new problems. With so much, oh no, with so much music out there already and out there already
Starting point is 01:14:04 and getting released every day, how do you get your music heard? I don't know, man, tell me, well, come along to the website I will not name, and I will show you how to stand out above the rest, how to increase your exposure, how to increase your fan base, how to get real users listening, liking, commenting, and buying you music. Cheers, Dave. Sincerely, Bad Bunny. Sincerely, Morrissey.
Starting point is 01:14:27 Thank you, Dave. But this is a podcast, so it's not really, the same rules don't really apply. But yeah. So send us an email, not that email. And don't forget to listen.
Starting point is 01:14:43 No, send us that email. That exact same email. Yes, just use it as a copy pasta. Don't forget, folks, to listen to previous episodes on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcast, Spotify, and SoundCloud, tell a friend about the show. Send us an email about the show telling us that you got a friend on the show.
Starting point is 01:15:02 Send us an email telling us what you don't like about the show or what you do like about it. And also, if you would be so kind, please leave us a positive review on your podcasting platform of choice. If you like what you hear, but especially if you don't. And with that, guys, we're out. Thank you very much for joining us. Goodbye, everybody. Bye. I hope everyone has a good day.
Starting point is 01:15:33 Bye, I've been. Later, guys. Bye.
