Starting point is 00:00:46 It takes down way, way down. Ooh, yes. Those drums get me. The drums get me. All right, everyone. Welcome to episode 71 of the NXT Clubcast, the official podcast of the NXT community. This podcast is required, required.
Starting point is 00:01:08 Yes, it's required for you to listen every single Thursday at 10mian Pacific Center time. The official NXT Discord server is available to stream on demand on Apple Podcast, Google Podcast, Spotify, and SoundCloud. So check yourself before you'll wreck yourself and get in on that podcast. My name is Dennis. Ivan is taking a break today. Today's special guest is nobody. It's just me. It's me and you guys. We're hanging out here. We're, uh, we're chilling, you know, as, as previously stated, the podcast has recorded live.
Starting point is 00:01:35 So we do take live questions. Uh, if you want to answer a asking not live question, we can do that as well. And we do that through our email clubcast at nzxte.com. This C, L, U, C-L-B-C-A-S-T.com. Hope everyone is doing great today. Hope you're all chilling. Hope you enjoyed the pre-show where I shut off, you know, my ear for music samples and whatnot. Yeah, I mean, you know, just been a chill, chill January so far. I can't believe it's already halfway done. What day is today?
Starting point is 00:02:12 It's January 14th. And I don't know where the month went. You know, it feels like it just started. And now all of a sudden we're here. right we're we're chilling we're maxing we're relaxing all cool shooting some b-ball you know outside of the school and and now we're almost into February and it's just pretty crazy you know um so we're I'm just going to be answering your questions I know you guys have a lot of them um any questions that we've answered in the past listen to previous podcasts we have 70 of them now I think 70
Starting point is 00:02:48 70 71 70 something you have 70 something of them now this would be 70 71. So we have 70 other podcasts you can listen to you, get all the answers to probably all the questions you've ever asked, you know, there. Let's start with the first one. What is the best FPS game? That is a impossible question to answer because there's been so many different FPSs over the years. I would say, you know, obviously shout out to the goat, Doom, right, for being there and, you know, when we really needed it. And for kicking this whole. all FPS thing off, really. Current days, I mean, you know, you have all kinds of different shooters for different kinds
Starting point is 00:03:29 of, you know, players, which is nice because, you know, right after Doom came out, there was like a whole slew of, like, you know, Doom clones that use the same mechanics, the same type of gameplay, right? Same style with just a different, you know, like skin on it, different shit on it, you know, but like personally, I have a lot of love for kind of straight global offensive. Because I've been playing CS since I was like, you know, 13, 11 or something. I'm, you know, I'm definitely an old man now. And, you know, it's really interesting to see just how big that game still is.
Starting point is 00:04:06 You know, and then, you know, you still got, you know, cod and you still got, you know, all the other shooters. Rainbow Six has its own place, you know, all kinds of stuff. I'm getting messages from our ops team on Slack. I'm pretty sure they're like, hey, you screwed something up with the. rewards fix it favorite PC case from nzx t my personal favorite that i will always hold as my favorite is my h440 mold h440 my current favorite case right now is the h1 uh my favorite craft case oh i would say honestly i would say the pokewarm oh wait no um uh let's see my favorite craft case i mean the coolest one really is just the uh the ramos six each one that one's
Starting point is 00:04:49 really really dope um that one's super cool what kind of hot pocket uh ham and cheddar Ham and cheddar. Would ever be a white NXTZ or X crack and cooler? Right now there is not one. Will it be one in the future? Who knows? All signs point two, I have no idea, but you'll know when we know. Why you know like Manta?
Starting point is 00:05:11 I mean, the Manta's cool. I've just never owned one. Do you know anything about when AirFans would be in stock? Nope. Any questions about stock? Any questions about availability? Any questions about product in that range? I will never know and I can never tell you.
Starting point is 00:05:26 Because one rule about working communities is to always under promise and over deliver. And if I cannot promise any date, I'm going to give you any date at all. Will we have them eventually? Yes. Do I know when? No idea. What is your favorite juice? Pineapple juice.
Starting point is 00:05:46 Do you think DDR5 RAM will be widely available when it comes to the consumer market? I hope so or they're not doing their good job at supplying. when will Soviet get an H510? Well, unfortunately, the Soviet Union is no longer around. If you're talking about when, you know, the Eastern bloc countries will get, you know, the Eastern European block countries are going to get the H510 elite. Contact your local retailer. Best games to play in free time, the games you like.
Starting point is 00:06:11 Are you going to add more level rewards? I don't know. That'd be cool. Well, consoles after PS5 and Xbox series X become more powerful than average gaming PCs. I don't ever see that happening, to be honest with you. it's cost availability should there be more active stuff to help in certain topics
Starting point is 00:06:26 not sure what you mean by that you had to be more specific when are the Z590 boards coming soon I don't know I have no idea and ZX he's hoarding a palette of 3090 FEs okay I mean you know we use those
Starting point is 00:06:46 for builds I'm not even sure those are you Even ours. I can't even tell this even our warehouse. But I mean, if we have a whole bunch of 3090 FEs and you want one by a computer, is reward being shipped now. We ship rewards all the time, yes. NZT Valerent team when. I don't know. N60 CES event when. We don't really go to a lot of events, to be honest. I mean, I don't I don't think we have like the product like lineup to really go to a CES unless we're showing off something like really really cool. Like I know we'll have Like Wesley and we'll have Andy They'll go to industry events
Starting point is 00:07:28 For like private closed doors Like showing off, you know Like what we have coming up to like your viewers and stuff You know And also just check out what the competition's up to You check out what the industry's up to You know meet with people Do business deals right
Starting point is 00:07:41 You know stuff that those guys do And you know like But we don't really have a booth Because event space is very expensive And who knows when that's ever going to come back Let me unpin some of these questions because someone asked about Bulgaria. If you're asking about other regions, contact your local retailers, if it's about product, or if that's not the question you asked, then I'm sorry, I can't find it.
Starting point is 00:08:05 Let's see here. When do you think a rest will pop off? I mean, I would say it's already popped off now. It's one of the more popular games right now being streamed. You know, a lot of streamers got bored of playing 50 hours a week of Among Us. and, you know, now they're, now they're chilling and playing some Rust. Russ is a great game. The community is heck and toxic, though, so it's something's not fun the play.
Starting point is 00:08:30 Clarkson, Hammond, or May? Hammond. How much food do you have in your pantry? They have quite a bit. Thoughts in the KFC console. I thought of it first in a dream and just never wrote it down because I thought the world was not ready for it. And boy, was I wrong. Should I do Windows update.
Starting point is 00:08:51 You should always update your windows, to be honest. The only time you should never update your windows, as if you don't want to get caught by the Microsoft Police. Pikachu or Charzard. Charzard's dope, man. What's your PC specs? I think I talked about this like previous before. So listen to previous episodes, and then you'll find out.
Starting point is 00:09:16 And yes, please don't spam. Or are we going to hit you with one of these? there you go um yeah you know what do you do you play when you're bored of playing video games i don't play anything when i'm bored of playing video games um i go to uh i watch anime or watch a movie or something you know i just i just do that um that's what i do when i when i don't want to play anything i don't you know i feel like it's always important to take breaks you know when you're playing games. You know, like, don't ever bring yourself out.
Starting point is 00:09:57 No matter what hobby you have, you know, and no matter what you love, you're going to get bored of it eventually, right? You're going to want to take breaks. And whether it's, I mean, it doesn't have to be a lobby, right? It can just be like, you know, it can be things like, you know, I don't know, running. You get bored of running. You get bored of watching movies. You get bored of enemies or something.
Starting point is 00:10:21 You know, stuff like that. We ever made graphics cards. Lesson to previous episodes. He uses light mode. Sometimes I do depending on what I want to do. We ever update colors for roles in the server. We just updated the rules for colors for rules in the server recently. So you missed out, Mr. Don.
Starting point is 00:10:40 They're like this for a reason. And people voted on it and they seem to enjoy it. Bring back roll chats. Nah. You guys can't handle it. They're also very spammy and half the time they were dead. Thoughts on working for ZXT. It's nice.
Starting point is 00:10:55 Sneak peek, but big next cam feature. No. If you really ask me to like, to like reveal information that I'm not privileged to give, that's a big no-no. It's never going to happen. I like having a job. And this podcast is definitely not big enough
Starting point is 00:11:12 for me to start dropping like knowledge bombs. Now, let's say we get to like a million listeners. And yeah, maybe I might drop some knowledge, right? But definitely not. can you break an indie a live uh i could but i won't next big camp features aces sync what do we have right now we have aura right or something we have ram or something like that i forgot up top of my head yeah there we go yeah the rams and beta i mean i would say that that really would be like the next big feature right would just be um you know adding support for more products so that all you need is
Starting point is 00:11:47 is nzxti cam um and like to be honest like i'll be 100% with you. I have only had one issue with cam and that was just the beta like client being broken and then I uninstall that reinstalled that network's fine. Right. Um, most problems, I feel like they come with cam have to do with devices not detecting from what I, what I've gathered. And a lot of the time, it just, you know, it just requires a little bit of finagling with the software. But I feel like people expect software to always work 100% of the time, which is, you know, which is understandable, right? You buy. a cooler you plug it in you know you think you build it 100% right and then cam doesn't detect it and it's
Starting point is 00:12:26 like okay well now I can't do anything with this cooler you know must be annoying um you know and I feel like a lot of people who have complained about cam in the past um or like do right now probably haven't really tried to like reach out to support and like gone through like all the troubleshooting steps there's a lot right um I don't think I was really heard of a situation where like they weren't able to actually fix a problem um Like, I'm sure it's, like, taken a while, right? But I don't think it's been like, you know, like, does it really be like an unfixable thing? But it's actually a good, like, kind of internal question.
Starting point is 00:13:01 I should probably reach out and say, hey, has it ever been a problem with Cam? These could not fix. Yeah. Can you DM be the company card front and bank back? Loll, that's a good one. You're funny. What's your least favorite N60 product? I'm trying to think.
Starting point is 00:13:22 Least favorite NZXT product. I would say currently out right now. I don't know. I don't really dislike any of our products. They all have their place. You know, they all do something for a reason. Actually, no, I like the underglow kit. I don't understand the underglow kit.
Starting point is 00:13:42 I don't know who's a person who's like big into like the bottom underglow. If you are, that's super cool. Go you. I'd never see myself buying that kit I'm going like, heck yeah, man, Tokyo drift on my computer, let's do it. No, thank you. It's not for me.
Starting point is 00:14:02 It's not for me. Death Ridge is actually showing us something really really cool. Gola Cam will be one software to do this. And I think what he's talking about is like ambient lighting, which we did have, we did have ambient lighting
Starting point is 00:14:14 in the Q2 ambient kit, which I don't believe he's sold right now. I don't know that's the thing we do anymore. My favorite RTX card, Why would you have a favorite RTX card? The cheapest one with the best performance. That's my favorite one. How much time I spend on PC all day?
Starting point is 00:14:30 Way too much. Are the stock case fans good? Or should you upgrade? So this is a good question, not just for me, but for like any builder, any computer, any case you buy. Stock fans are good to a point. They will do their job, which is move air around, which is move the hot air to allow room for colder to come in. If you're looking for performance out of a case fan, I think out of any brand, to be honest, buy new fans, you know, buy performance fans. You know, stock is good to a point.
Starting point is 00:15:00 And I think that's probably some of the reasons why people like complain about the cooling in the in the H510, right? It's a it's, you know, you're buying a computer. Well, first time, you're buying a $69 case in a stock configuration, right, with stock fans, right? And then you're saying it's too warm. Like, okay, cool. Get a cooler, get nicer fans, right? Start moving that air around and you're fine. You know, I never have a problem with the cooling in my H510 elite, right?
Starting point is 00:15:35 I specifically because I have a 2070 super and I know that card's a little warm. And I have my cooler front mounted, right, into my H510s. I know it's the only place you can go. I actually have my rear and top exhaust fans fan curved to react to my GPU. So once my GPU hits a certain temperature, then the fans spin up and move the air out. Because, you know, my CPU is already being cold, but the fresher coming in from the front, right? So why the heck do I need, you know, it, you know, the back fans to actually react to, you know, anything other than, you know, the GPU, which is what's actually causing the heat inside of it.
Starting point is 00:16:18 Yeah, let's make sure we're keeping the memes in the random channel of folks. Discord mod or her. What will be my attempts in my case with the Strix, Vegas 64 and I-9. Oh, boy, dude. Yeah, that's a lot. So, well, I'd be your dad. I mean, I could, but I don't know how old you are, but I'm assuming your age and I assume I probably could be your dad.
Starting point is 00:16:46 In like a bizarre world. The math definitely works out. Let's see, here we'll see got. One of the H510 Elite and the new Cracken Z and X AIOs are going to be available here. It's been a while. Where are you from, the Purple Soviet? Contact your local retailers. Thoughts on Coursera, two fans in an NZXT case.
Starting point is 00:17:19 They look cool. I mean, Coursera fans look sick. Coursera RGB fans are really, really cool. I like the way they work, Lebanon. Yeah, man, N60.com slash retailers, and look for Lebanon, look for your local retailers, and ask them directly, hey, I want to buy these NXT products.
Starting point is 00:17:35 When will you have them? Then they'll let you know. The local retailers are scalpers. If they're, so like we don't have much control over, like, the prices that they set, right? But I'm assuming the import costs are pretty high, you know, for boxes of steel and whatnot. What's your opinion on the NXT aim for,
Starting point is 00:17:53 AM4 motherboard. My opinion on the N6T AM4 motherboard is listen to previous podcast to listen to our other opinions on previous episodes that you previously asked about that motherboard. We don't have it, man. All we got is, all we got is Intel. Every episode, yeah, I'm sorry, I'm just going to start filtering AM4 from our Discord server so that no one can ever talk about horizon ever and in like any context regardless of nzxt or not what n6tt is an adapter they adapts proprietor nzc rgb connector to standard one can happen and i'll tell you why because of the addressable rgb um pin so you know how normal rgb is three pins right rgb i actually don't know what what the three pins are but the fourth pin because i reached out to are his accessories um
Starting point is 00:18:49 product manager, which I'm going to get her name wrong. So let me look it up real quick so I don't screw up because that'd be really rude. Melody. Melody, I think she might have been on the podcast before or maybe not. She's charged of case accessories. And the 4 pin is specifically designed to allow for the addressable RGB. Is it? Or maybe it's a fifth pin?
Starting point is 00:19:12 Whatever. Wait, whatever. Wait, three pin is ARGB. Four pin is RGB. Wait, what's a RGB? And I don't know anything anymore. Anyway, people complain about our pins being proprietary. They are so that the the, um, the, the, um, the, the, um, the, the, RGB strip or whatever can,
Starting point is 00:19:28 can communicate with cam and do things like addressable individual LEDs and report information back to cam and so on and so forth. Um, so yeah. Does NST get affected by tax tariffs? I mean, everybody does, right? Um, I'm not, I'm not in charge of operations so I can't give you full details on like how that affects us, but, you know, tariffs affect every company in every way, shape, or form. And I know we do our best to work with our suppliers and our partners to ensure that the costs
Starting point is 00:19:58 are not passed down to the consumer. But, you know, at the end of the day, sometimes you can't just, you know, you, you can only, you can only, you know, stop the flow for so long before, you know, it just reaches down to the consumer, you know, blame your, blame your, um, you know, officials and complain to them if you want your Al-GB for cheaper. So I talked to a retailer, he would import $150, $150 for $300. I mean, probably right. Like as a thing, I don't know what the costs are. Like, for example, if you want to sell products in Brazil and you don't manufacture in Brazil,
Starting point is 00:20:39 they will charge you a very, very, very heavy fine for that. It's a very heavy import cost or tariffs or I don't know the exact phrasing for that. that particular type of a tax on that, but it's very, very high. And the reason why they do that is because they want to encourage companies to manufacture in the country that they're selling to so they can create jobs and so on and so forth. That's like the overall hopeful idea. But sometimes, you know, the cost is not worth it to set up manufacturing in those countries for the company, right? I would say manufacturing and any company is probably worth it, right? I'm not an economist here. Right. It's probably worth it for everybody,
Starting point is 00:21:21 but the reality is, right, is that if you can produce it for cheaper, uh, cost overall, then you'll just do that. And that's, that's the reason why, uh, the piracy scene in, um, in, in, in Brazil is so insanely high or so, so, so, so prolific. Because a lot of these companies can't sell their products in, in Brazil, news choose not to. Gaming in Brazil is really, really interesting. This is really cool, and I'm going to link it into the chat. And if you guys don't know, this is a really cool YouTube channel called ClothMap. Unfortunately, they're not working on it anymore.
Starting point is 00:21:58 But it's basically a travel show. This might be really loud for a second. No. Okay, this is actually a travel show. But under the guise of video games. So let me just mute this tab real quick. So I'm playing anything. I'll link it to you guys.
Starting point is 00:22:13 It's 18 minutes. It's 18 minutes. It's an 18 minute video, but really, really interesting. I highly encourage all you guys right now to save this, watch this later, and learn a little bit. There we go. But yeah, you know, there you go. So it's really cool. It's really good.
Starting point is 00:22:40 You know, it's all be nice to each other and share the little bit of video games. What is the thing, right? Brazil's game markets are more gray than black, to be honest. Yeah, see here. Is it true that Nvidia are selling GPUs to the miners? I would ask Nvidia. I don't know. How am I supposed to know who the heck they're selling to?
Starting point is 00:23:06 You'll ask me the silliest questions. There's no way he can ever answer that. Okay. Let's see here. Um, drift or fast and luxury cars. What? Um, bye-bye. Um,
Starting point is 00:23:28 exactly. I am, I am the CEO in Vida. Yeah, no, you know, um, I,
Starting point is 00:23:35 I like to look at video games from a very kind of like, wide lens. I like to learn about the industry. I like to learn about how it works. You know, I like learning about developers and public. and, you know, manufacturers. I think the whole thing is really, really interesting.
Starting point is 00:23:53 You know, it's a very interesting market. It's a very, very interesting industry that, you know, brings us so much joy and, like, you know, just cool stuff every single day. And I, I love learning about it. I love talking about it. You know, I don't really care about, to be honest, like games per se. Like, I enjoy the games that I enjoy, you know, I play the games that I play. But I don't really care about games.
Starting point is 00:24:18 I really like learning what the industry like. I want to know what the heck Epic is doing all that, you know, buckets and banks of money that they got from Fortnite, right? Like, I want to know what's going on with Fortnite in the app store, right? Like, I want to know what's up with that. You know, like, how's that shaping up? You know, how's that going to change gaming on mobile for how many years to come? You know, how's that going to change the industry, right? Like, you think about Epic games and like how they've shifted the goalposts more towards the development.
Starting point is 00:24:48 in terms of selling, you know, games online. Whereas, you know, like, you used to have that 30% cut just straight off the bat for anybody who was selling any game on Steam, right? And then now Epic Games comes in with their buckets of money. They're like, no, we're going to give you guys more money and incentivize you to, to publish a game with us. And then Valve's like, oh, we got to, you know, back up a little bit and, you know, start working with these developers more.
Starting point is 00:25:16 personally i think 30% of a cut it's not that much you know in the sense of all the benefits that steam gives you know and like all the you know just the giant platform that they have but you know if someone wants to come in and they want to disrupt that i have no problem with it you know i don't i don't even care if they just you know incentivize developers to come in and just you know with a bunch of money take your game office team bring over the epic game store it sucks right in the sense of like you know you don't get to play your game on the platform that you like, but it does create a little bit of competition. Even if it's like very brute force competition,
Starting point is 00:25:51 it's still competition. Epic doesn't have a marketplace like Steam. I only use the marketplace for the trading cards. I never use a marketplace for anything else on Steam. I did in the very beginning when it first came out with like CSGO and stuff like that and like TF2. But after that, like I just, I just don't just don't bother. It's like,
Starting point is 00:26:11 it's like playing stocks, but like the worst kind of stock. because you can't even make money off of it 90% of the time, you know? When I'm going to give away the natural codes, no more natural codes. Just because you asked, no longer going to give them away. Or will I? Best Cheeto flavor. Hot Cheetos, dude, come on.
Starting point is 00:26:33 Hot Cheetos are the best flavor. Let's be real. My first console, my first games. Okay. So, first PC game was Doom. Like, I actually rolled PC game was Doom. Straight up. My dad brought home a computer with Doom on it.
Starting point is 00:26:44 I loved it. you know in the story um doom one of doom two was doom two it was doom two i believe actually no doom one i know where doom one went but then we started playing doom two um what a hit what ass equals no codes um and then my first actual game console technically it was a game boy pocket color a yellow one that was a lit and i loved it um Let's see here a full size keyboards TKL or 60% I currently have a 60 currently have a full size. I love it, but I'm waiting on Should I figure out which size? I want a smaller size just to play games where I don't need the 10 key But I'm still on the fence you know
Starting point is 00:27:38 You know I do I do numbers and spreadsheets a lot for my job so having a 10 key actually kind of a important for me. Yeah. Let's see here. We've got any other questions. The keyboards are awesome. I think keyboards are, I think keyboards are, I think keyboards are, I think keyboards is like the next frontier for
Starting point is 00:28:02 customability, customization. I think the first company then come in and make the process of buying a, like custom keyboard with your own switches and key caps and stuff and do it right. and provide like a great service, I think is going to kill it, to be honest. GMMK, yeah, but GMMK is also very limited in like their selection, right? They also don't provide lubing either. Like, so he's like great. GMMK is still, you do it yourself, right?
Starting point is 00:28:32 You still got to buy everything and put it in. Right? You got to put it in yourself. I'm saying the company that will do that stuff for you, right? Mass, mass level, mass market, right? Big budgets. They come, you can buy it pre-assembled. They sell it with switches and keycaps.
Starting point is 00:28:49 Do they? Because when I bought mine, like, it didn't come pre-assembled. I remember that. But imagine like selling everything, right? You get the whole setup. You get your, you know, hey, gamer, here's your computer, right? Here's your monitor, right? And then here's your, like, I don't know, custom mouse.
Starting point is 00:29:07 Customize. I don't really ever think customized will be a thing. But yeah, when you make an AIO with GPUs. Yep, we do have the G12 bracket. but unfortunately the G-Tel bracket does not work with the current gen of GPUs don't work with the 30 series RTCX cards and does not work with the current gen Risen
Starting point is 00:29:25 Rion cards unfortunately so I'm sure I'm sure you can like you can mod it but you need hear that for me yeah yes but no Risen radio on cards I don't know what the heck they're called you know what I mean the AMD cards What are your thoughts on an N60 keyboard?
Starting point is 00:29:47 I think that would be cool. You know, like, wait, hold up. You almost got me. Go listen to previous episodes, buddy. We got 70 episodes. Go check those out. You almost got me answering a question I already asked. I already answered like 50 times.
Starting point is 00:30:01 Aren't Intel core deals better than 5950X? I don't know, dude. You're asking the wrong person. That's in the wrong part. Are there silent N60 fans? There are featured them all the way. down. When will the NZXT headset release? Uh, no word TVH. I don't know. Um, look at here at nzxte.com. I'm looking up live on the show. Live on the show. Uh, this are, I don't know. What am I
Starting point is 00:30:33 thinking of, uh, there we go. That's that I want. I might blow you guys the ears for a second. Hold up. We're gonna, I'm gonna try some little different. Let me know how you like it. Some, some backing music. How's it sound? Is this too loud? Let me know. Okay, I see. So, NXT headset stuff.
Starting point is 00:31:01 Audio. Sorry with a click. That's really annoying. Rip headphone users. What are your thoughts on the mascot Pucci? Pucci's lit, dude. I love Pucci. NZXT office tour when?
Starting point is 00:31:21 I mean, I can't go to the office right now, so probably not anytime soon. unfortunately i would i would like to you know i would love to show you guys what the office looks like now but last time i went there like my desk was surrounded by a bunch of plastic and builders so we used to have the warehouse where everything happened right blde was there rma was there shipping all that stuff was there then we had in the center we had uh we had the the pit right where where people were you know were working and stuff. And that's been turned into another area for the builders to build in because they need to
Starting point is 00:32:00 be able to, you know, be quiet. And I'll be quiet. And so be safe, right? Be quiet. Be quiet. They need to be safe, right? They need to socially distance. They need to, you know, make sure they're protected.
Starting point is 00:32:11 So they turned the entire pit pretty much into like, you know, another, another build warehouse or people, which is, you know, pretty nice. I'm not trying to flex, but. Let's see here. I'm looking on the wrong channel. I'm looking at General. Yikes. Let's see here.
Starting point is 00:32:35 Okay. We're done with that. That was a nice experiment for some backing music. Actually, here, we can do this. We can do this. We'll do this. I think this will be very nice. I make it a really long,
Starting point is 00:32:56 really nice mix here. There we go. This is the perfect backing track. I used this in the past. Now we're all going to fall asleep. Okay. See, what else you guys are asking me about here? What time is it in my country?
Starting point is 00:33:13 It's America time. Dr. Stone's starting tomorrow. I, you know what? I tried to watch Dr. Stone. I got to the, I think it was right after the ramen episode. And I just, I just got bored. Do you? I don't know why.
Starting point is 00:33:27 That show just did not. It's funny because, like, Dr. Stone, the anime, by the way, right? The anime. It's one of the shows that I feel like should have held my attention very, very well. But I just could not. I just couldn't. There's so many shows right now. And you know what I did?
Starting point is 00:33:51 I literally just rewatch the entirety of Fullman Alchemist Brotherhood. I just like, and you what? I'm just going to watch this old show because I like it better. I just like it better. All right here. Stop by that. I take a sip of my coffee. More TikTok songs.
Starting point is 00:34:12 No, thanks. Because I don't get in trouble. We're going to find news of products coming in stock on your socials. We don't really publicly announce that we have items in stock. If you're looking for information on product, unfortunately, we don't really have that system set up. Just check back on our website. If you're looking for like components on like n16.com, then just check back to see when they're back. We don't really announce it.
Starting point is 00:34:36 And the reason why is because our sales are direct-to-consumer sales portals. like nzc.com and let's beLD, which is, you know, like very big words, is not, it's not global, right? We don't globally ship to the entire world. So because of that, we don't really announce to, you know, we have 800,000 followers on Twitter and, you know, half of them are, you know, not even in the U.S. So they can't even buy from us. So we're not going to spend, you know, time talking about that stuff. We will for sales. because you know it's a sale or for something in my opinion that's not like you know as as impactful as a sale which is you know just product is back in stock we just don't spend the
Starting point is 00:35:24 social time on that we we should have we should have a system set up like you're 100% right and something that we need to work on but we don't have that system in place right now and yeah however you pronounce your name, Keos Ball. The newsletter will also not give information on stock. We use the newsletter, the newsletter to give information on sales, new products. Sometimes, like during the summer, yeah, summer of last year of 2020, we were doing like restock information and drops about the H1 because it was a very, very popular. But other than that, though, like, you know, it was like for air fans.
Starting point is 00:36:08 We're not going to send a, you know, a spamming marketing email for, for a, for a, for a you know RGB fan unless people really want it but I don't think so because I think that's like
Starting point is 00:36:20 I think it's kind of a manual process and this is better to instead of doing that put the time and effort into working on getting a better notification in stock system set up so that we don't have to have
Starting point is 00:36:32 these conversations and you can just sign up for it and everyone's happy right when we release in CMAQAVE right now the struggle to get 1,000 likes was it really a struggle though or do we succeed go back and look at those those those posts and check out the engagement um when it is you see when when is nzx t going to answer my
Starting point is 00:36:52 instagram dms probably never dude and instagram dms are a mess and a half um when i first started working at nzx t on social media i hadn't i'd never managed a account as big as that one um and there are challenges when you have a lot of followers there are challenges when you have a ridiculous amount of followers and they're all just to be honest right our demographic on our social media skews to be very very young so you combine the meaminess of Instagram plus you know the youngsters on a platform that has a really poor messaging systems for big accounts and it just becomes impossible to keep up essentially Facebook is actually better believe it or not Facebook has a better inbox system than
Starting point is 00:37:42 Instagram does because the Instagram you have to use the application. You have to use the app for pretty much everything. Um, there is, there is no, there is no real good way to use Instagram on your computer to like, to like actually effectively use a platform. You have to use your phone. You have to use your phone. Um, so I don't even check the Instagram DMs. People can DM if they want. I might happen like once in a blue moon just to see. was good, but like I don't, you know, because most things people ask are like, can I get a free PC, oh, you know, I don't know, I need help with a computer and my cool contact support, right? So I get a sip of coffee here real quick. I would say that Instagram is probably the most
Starting point is 00:38:32 frustrating platform to use because I have to be on my phone. Facebook is really close by because Facebook changes their platform and like the feature set all the time. So it's hard to really get a beat on Twitter is delightful. You can do anything on Twitter, except for fleets, but I don't think anybody really looks at fleets. Unless, are you all fleeters in here? Are we fleeting on the Twitter? Huh?
Starting point is 00:39:02 Are you fleeting on the Twitter? I don't fleet. I have fleet on the corporate account, but I don't really have fleet on my own account. Gotta, right? Instagram equals Facebook, equals Zuck will suck the data. Well, I mean, if you're on the internet at all, your data's being taken and parsed and looked into and analyzed. So any presence you have on the internet where you
Starting point is 00:39:28 have to make an account and just look at the terms of service of like any company, they're all collecting your information. Everyone collects information. My favorite movie. Ooh, I don't think I really have a favorite movie, to be honest. I like a lot of movies. I like a lot of movies. I'll say, A movie they can never get tired of watching is Friday. I love Friday. How you get fired on your day off? Thoughts on Indian food?
Starting point is 00:39:56 I love Indian food. I used to work with a girl. She was an Indian. She was Pakistani. And I know there's like, you know, some bad blood there. You know, but they're, you know, they used to be real big homies. But anyway, she would take me to go get a lot of Indian and Pakistani food. And it's lit, dude.
Starting point is 00:40:13 It's so good. So good. I know there are cultural differences, right? But to the untrained eye, I could not tell the difference, right? But what I can say is the food is amazing. That's the reason why I love living here in California is because you have such a diverse mix of people and a diverse mix of food. I don't care where you come from. I don't care what your, well, I do kind of care what your beliefs are.
Starting point is 00:40:41 But I don't care where you come from. Just give me your food. let me taste that. Let me put in my mouth. Let me eat it. Getting a little excited here. I'm sorry. It'd be like that sometimes.
Starting point is 00:40:58 Abe Shoki come to Lebanon and I feed you the best food. Deal. Deal, deal, deal. No, I'm, I, I want to do a food tour. I want to tour the world. I want to be like, you know, like a, like a Eddie Wong or, God, What's his name? The chef.
Starting point is 00:41:18 Parts of known. I was out of top of my head. What's his name? Really, really popular, dude. He's not with us anymore. But he had, like, the longest show. Parts are known. Man.
Starting point is 00:41:30 Stuck in my, something. Tipped in my tongue. Anthony Bourdain. Thank you. My man. My man, death rage. Yeah. I want to be like the Anthony Bourdain
Starting point is 00:41:38 and just travel the world and eat. All the food everywhere. Just enjoy as much as I can. The only thing I don't like our pickles. Pickles are gross. Pickles are disgusting. Pickles are a, what do you call it? Pickles are a waste of a good cucumber.
Starting point is 00:41:57 You take a delicious cucumber that's so fresh and crisp, and then you stick in a goop of vinegar and juices, and you turn into something disgusting. And I don't know why. I don't know why you are the way that you are. Pickles, they're so gross. dude. What do you put on your burgers though? Dude, put cucumbers on your burgers. No like. So I once went to a burger place. This is like a fancy burger place. Well, it was like a fancy mom and
Starting point is 00:42:24 pot place, right? Where they did really like high quality burgers, but you can never really tell. I don't think you went in. And I'm like, yeah, like, what's in this burger? This is this in a pickle. It's like, oh, it's a cucumber. I'm like, what? You guys put cucumbers and pickles? Like, yeah, like, trust me. It's really, really good. One bite of that sucker. I was in for it. Pickles are not good. See, that's the problem is that you're wrong, Trug. And the pickles are not good. Pickles are not good at all. All right.
Starting point is 00:42:57 What else do you got here? Any of the questions? Chog's back. If you weren't working at, oh, there's some more things here. How much food if we did inventory, can't see what's updates, to be the specs?
Starting point is 00:43:07 If you weren't working at NSXT, where would you like to work? Oh man, that's a good question. If I was on working at NSXT, I probably want to go back to be doing, game publishing or video game development. I probably,
Starting point is 00:43:23 I probably try to get a job at like Bungee doing social media and community there. Yeah, I think that's what I'd probably like to do. Like, maybe not there specifically, right? But just like in video games in general, I'd be down for video games. I like games. I like the industry. I like working in the industry. I like working with the community.
Starting point is 00:43:46 One of the, But when he used to work at Cacao games for Black Desert online, I didn't like working there. Just to be honest, right? I can say that, right? Whether I'm under India or not, I can say I didn't enjoy my time there. But what I did enjoy was being with the community. And here we get a little serious here, right? So this is how seriously taking a job working community, right?
Starting point is 00:44:06 For the first two, three weeks that I was working there, I did not do a single thing except spend all my time on the forums, watching Twitch streams, you know, watching, you know, looking at discussion forums, so and so forth about the game. And I learned as much as I could. I learned about the game. I played a ton of it, right? I learned about the community. I learned about the memes.
Starting point is 00:44:30 I learned about their gripes. I learned about in jokes. I learned as much as I could to like assimilate myself into the community and be a part of that community. And then, you know, and then from that point, open the floodgates. I'm in every Twitch stream. And I'm talking to the streamers, right? and I'm, you know, and I'm in the forums and I'm talking to the players, right?
Starting point is 00:44:49 And I'm in Steam and I'm talking to people there. And I'm like throwing out memes and in jokes and, you know, like, you know, like actually proving to them and like demonstrating that like I know what I'm talking about, right? That I know what their complaints are, right? I know what their gripes are. That I know, you know what they talk about every day. And that helped me do my job better because they started to trust me. Right.
Starting point is 00:45:15 that I wasn't just some corporate show, I was there to listen to them, you know? It was one of the things where, like, you know, you can't really manage a community unless you're a part of it, right? You can't, you have to participate, to be honest, to a certain extent. I know some people have a different philosophy when it comes to community management, but my personal method of doing it is being in the trenches with them every day, working with them, talking with them, being a part of the community. and just instead of being like, hey, I am from the company. It's like, no, I'm from the community who has a direct line to the company who can probably articulate the questions, the concerns that you're having. So a pro tip from an ex-community manager at another company.
Starting point is 00:46:03 Yeah. So I ask me a question, I guess. I don't remember this. Can I send you a firm request in Discord? You can, but I won't accept it. There is a spinoff. of the office based on the n-60 office who would play who and why iven is definitely going to be michael hands down ivan is is definitely michael scott um johnny would be maybe a little bit
Starting point is 00:46:27 like david wallace right um Amanda would probably be i don't maybe phyllis maybe phyllis I'll say a combination of Phyllis and Creed. I'm really showing off my office aptitude here. Office of Brooklyn 99. There are two different kinds of shows. Brooklyn 9 is lit. I like Brooklyn 99. It's really funny.
Starting point is 00:46:57 But I'll say my favorite show of that type is Parks and Rec. Parks and Rec was really, really great. Enjoyed that show. I forget the name of the actress who plays Leslie Knope, but she is fantastic, a almost comedic genius, I would say. Comedy, comedy up the butt. She's just too funny, dude. Her and Tina Fey kill it.
Starting point is 00:47:19 Like I, you can definitely tell that they're like cut from the same cloth, right? That they just have an amazing amount of skill for comedy. Just because of Ron Swanson. Ron Swanson is a really great character. And I really liked his like, his like growth, right? Which actor would be Ivan B. Ishiki. B, I would say B would probably be Pam, right? But a funnier version of Pam.
Starting point is 00:47:47 Pam wasn't a funny person. Be is hilarious. The best food you can make best, okay, so the best dish that I can make. Let me put my backing track back on. The best dish that I can make is a really good spaghetti. And I'll tell you what I do. Okay. I make a meat sauce.
Starting point is 00:48:16 And for the meat, I don't use ground beef. I use spicy Italian sausage. What I do is I take the sausage. I cut up, open the casing. I spill the contents of two, a pan. I pan fry for a little bit till it's like, you know, slightly golden brown. And for my sauce, I legit just use a little packet of McCormick's, like,
Starting point is 00:48:40 a rich, creamy Italian, like mix. You mix it with water and you mix it with, what do you call it, with a tomato paste. And then I put the, so you use the pasta water for the, for the sauce mix. Then you put your spicy Italian sausage into that sauce, stir it up. And then you have a nice, rich, thick, creamy, slightly spicy spaghetti sauce. hits every single time. Personally, I like it a little bit spicier. Why is they're talking in this? I personally like it a little bit spicier
Starting point is 00:49:21 than I think people would expect, right? Which is not a little bit. But yeah, I think spicy meat sauce is really, really good. Oh, maybe she didn't play back in check because I got to do the, I do editing after this. I might be just broken this whole podcast.
Starting point is 00:49:50 Well, tagging B4. But yeah, it's good. Nice, thick, rich, spicy spaghetti sauce. It's got to be spicy, man. It's got to be spicy. Okay, let's see here. Are we almost done with the show? Oh, boy.
Starting point is 00:50:16 Let's see here. Let me see. We got anything newswise? Have I tried Carolina Reaper? No. I don't eat overly spicy burn your mouth foods on purpose. I don't know people who do that. I think they have a death wish.
Starting point is 00:50:38 I think they have some personal deep issues that they need to address. I'm not down for that. Spicey's kind of bad? No. Spicy is awesome. You just have no taste. Mr. It's a gnome, right?
Starting point is 00:50:52 whatever, no, no head dude. Anyway, okay, I think that's really pretty much what's almost expensive thing you broke in slash lost, my life. Let's see here. So community questions, community roundup. Community Roundup, I don't think, I don't think you have anything really big to announce right now. What I will see, though, is sign up for, okay,
Starting point is 00:51:17 so someone's going to link this for me. Whoever can link it first, I'll give you a high five. Someone needs to link me the moderator applications. So we are still taking moderator applications. Please apply to be a moderator if you think you're good. We are in need of EU moderators, people who can moderate at EU times and have EU time zones. Availability. I think it's the best way to say it.
Starting point is 00:51:44 You're available during moderator times. Do you get paid? No, they do not get paid. but they do get cool stuff. Like, for example, the mods got fancy cute sweaters for Christmas. And Nitro and other things. Yeah, and also I rest you guys individually. Also, if you are knowledgeable in any of our channels,
Starting point is 00:52:16 such as hardware, peripheral, software, streaming, or support, or maybe even Cam, if you're like an expert in Cam. Send up for Pucci professors. I believe Kili is a Pucci professor. Yes, and the Pucci professors, the purpose of the program is to get involved in fostering community with a hardware twist. Pucci professors are specifically trained in community, especially trained community members who will be recognized at some of the best in our hardware and support channels.
Starting point is 00:52:44 So it's not just, just remember, right? Remember, guys, for Poogee professors, it's not just if you're the same. smartest, biggest brain person. Are you also nice? Are you helpful? Do you know how to foster community? You know, can you admit when you're wrong? Do you understand a difference between preference and, you know, uh, not preference, right? So like for example, if I say, hey, I really want a white motherboard and a link you want to go, bro, the motherboard sucks. The theorems are trash. You can't overclock. And then you go, okay, cool, but I still want it. And then you don't stop at that point. Maybe this program isn't for you. But if you can be a nice person and,
Starting point is 00:53:20 and be helpful and want to help people learn the the amazingness that is hardware and software and peripherals and so on and so forth definitely apply definitely apply you know that's that's what we ask for because the the main goal of the program is twofold or twofold two-pronged one is to recognize members in our community who this example maybe don't want to moderate right or they don't want to do like anything super super big but they do want to help foster community right and then the other one is to cut back on some of the elitism cut back on some of the difficulty of being able to talk about hardware in a in a manner that's like not scary right to to be to be to be uh to be able to like you know walk in with this into a channel and have
Starting point is 00:54:10 full confidence that people aren't going to like be a jerk to you right or make fun of you because you don't know uh and then what else you got going on they got sit put you professors uh Oh, yeah, Pucci's Picks, right, Poochis Picks. Half a month away until we say our next Poochee's pick. Poochee's pick, right, is a program. So funny thing, the professor applications and Pooch's pick are both B initiatives, right? And the Poochis pick is basically a way for us to highlight one community member every single month. And we give them a lot of really cool perks.
Starting point is 00:54:47 And I'll tell you right now what those are. for a lovely community here. Let me scroll up a little bit. They get the Pugge's Pick roll for a month, so they're hoisted on the server. Right now is generic Gummies. Congrats to generic Gummies for being a Pugge's pick of this month. They also get the DJ role permanently
Starting point is 00:55:03 so they can play music in these channels. They have the ability to change their nickname. They get to add a one remote to the server. They get a $20 Steam gift card. I think it's actually 25. I think that's the minimum. I forget. Whatever the minimum is, around 20 bucks,
Starting point is 00:55:18 that's what we give you. they get a set limited edition stickers that are the Poochies Pick art and they also get a cool Poochie's Pick shirt So yeah Be a super nice, exceptional community member Hang out with everybody Be dope and you will get
Starting point is 00:55:33 You might be able to get Poochie's pick So yeah $5 is minimum Okay so it's not $5 It's like 20 or 25 Every go what it is How the shirt look like? I don't know
Starting point is 00:55:45 Maybe one of the older Pooge's picks can do a picture of the shirt. Who are they? I can find it here somewhere. Previous Pooge's picks are Darkie. Darkie,
Starting point is 00:56:00 Merv, Paintlin, um, Chilin's calling down here. Money. Actually, she has a picture of the shirt right now. Actually, I think Gummies, I think,
Starting point is 00:56:15 if Gummies in chat, he can, they can show a picture of their, of their preachy's pick shirt. It's a pretty cute shirt, to be honest. I'm not going to lie. So I'm linking it yet. There you go.
Starting point is 00:56:24 Yeah. It's a very cute shirt. Get it because he's being picked like a little claw machine. Isn't that adorable? Is that just adorable? Okay. And I think that's pretty much it. That's like all the community events.
Starting point is 00:56:40 Oh, and also, you know, hang out with this on the weekends. Okay, yeah, so it's 25. Thank you, Martin, Martin, Marko. Yeah, it is $25 that we'll give you then for a Steam game of rich choosing. 25 American dollars. 25 American dollars, whatever it translates into your monies. Wait, I don't think Traug was a Pugge's pick. Was she?
Starting point is 00:57:14 No. I think Traug came in so early and we immediately recognized, number one, the maturity. She was super mature, right? And just like really, really nice and super helpful. They were like, this person, if they do ever apply, needs to be a moderator. And Chog's another of our best mods right next to me. I am the best mod of all time. And that's it.
Starting point is 00:57:41 All right, guys, I think that's really pretty much it. I got nothing else talk about. We've been going for quite a... Actually, have you been going for some time? I don't know how long we've been going on this podcast. We've been going for some time now. What's long should we go go out by? Let's see here.
Starting point is 00:57:56 We got I don't know why, but I love this scholarly mix. It's so good. Let me see where is it. It's going to play a little bit of words here from this dude, but it's okay. Fifty eight minutes. Dang, you guys are on it. What age we must.
Starting point is 00:58:22 be to can we moderate the server? Well, first off, you had to probably formulate sentences. Second of all, you just have to be old enough to be on Discord legally and you're good to go. Don't tell me your age. I don't want to know it because if I know it and it is not within the range that you're supposed to be in the country that you're in, because believe it or not, some countries have different ages of consent for being online on Discord. We're going to get rid of you. So that's not, let's not do that. Yeah, let's listen in some tunes. Let's assist us get the heck out of here. Thanks for hanging out, guys. Appreciate it. Thanks for being here on the podcast. I really appreciate it. Let me make sure I don't break this. Here we go. Brip headphone users, cover your ears. It's about to get crazy. You've been warned three, two, one.
Starting point is 00:59:16 Come on, man. I'm going to be late for work. All right. So everybody, thank you very much for listening to today's podcast. Remember to tune in next week at 10am. Is that too loud? It might be too loud for me. Hold up. I think I'm being overpowered by the power of scars. Don't forget to tune in next week at 10 a.m. Pacific Standard Time, the official NZXC Discord server, and follow at NZXT on all relevant and irrelevant social media. And you can see. send an email to clubcast at n zxt.com. If you cannot listen live,
Starting point is 00:59:54 but still want to ask us a question. That email again, and I'm slurring because I'm getting near the end of the show and my brain is turning in the mush and my mouth is no longer working. But you can send an email to clubcast at nz60.com. Again, that email is clubcast, C-L-U-B-C-A-S-T-T dot com.

And if you do us one big favor, if you do listen to on those platforms, leave us a positive review if you like what you hear. Starting point is 01:00:45 We love the haters. Thanks. Thank you very much, guys. We will see you next week. Take care. Be safe. Social distance. Wash your hands.
Starting point is 01:00:56 Wear a mask. Shower daily. Brush your teeth at least twice a day. You use mouthwash. Okay. Floss. People forget the floss. You got to floss.
Starting point is 01:01:07 If not, then you're only hurting your gum health if you don't floss, right? It might hurt at first, but after a couple of times, it'll be okay. Okay? Um, get all up in between, all up in between the nymph's teeth, right? Um, and just jam out and be good to each other. All right, guys. Night show one coming. See you later.
Starting point is 01:01:31 Peace.
