So if you're a real gamer, put your hands up high, hands up high, hands up high.
My name is Dennis.
With me as always is Ivan.
Hello, Ivan.
Hello, Dennis.
Don't say nothing.
Don't even start.
Don't start.
No, no.
This is what happened when you start vaping again.
Don't do it.
You were doing so good, Dennis.
Don't do it.
No, don't do it.
No, don't say nothing.
No.
You went almost a whole year without vaping.
And then all of a sudden you start vaping and you forget to do the Discord
announcement.
I don't think it's been a year.
There's no way it's been a year.
It's way too short for it for it to have been a year.
Oh, you still forgot about the Discord announcement.
That's fine.
I was, so I was,
I was going to do it and then I noticed that like everything on this computer was like dying and I was looking at my Adobe audition and it was like recording at a crawl.
It looked like it wasn't even working.
I thought the whole computer was going to explode.
Should you do the announcement and start this over?
I'm going to do it right now and no, I'm not going to start it over because it's really easy, peasy for me to do it.
So don't, don't worry about it.
It's only, it's only been 80 episodes.
So yeah, I wouldn't expect you to remember the Discord announcement by this point.
Exactly.
It's obviously, you know, nothing about live production.
I think you're vaping your brain cells away, man.
I'm pretty sure it's something else.
Today, a very, very special guest.
World renowned streamer pizza aficionado,
cool hat wearer, crack and Z owner.
What else going to throw on here?
Cool hoodie.
This is, do you say video games on it?
it? Yeah.
Just straight up video games?
It says video games.
Is it a good t-shirt that says t-shirt, right?
Yes, exactly.
Yeah.
We have, okay, so I'm going to say this wrong, and I'm doing this on purpose, because I want people, I want the people to know.
Is it Jumbo, play with Jambo, play with Jambo, Jambo, which one is it?
It's Jammbo.
Jambo, okay.
Special guest streamer Jambo.
Twitch.TV slash Jambo.
Get with those plugs in early, right?
Yeah, I gotta get them in early.
Hi, I doing today.
How are you feeling?
I'm doing great.
How are you?
Great.
Are you excited?
Are you ready for this fantastic show?
I truly feel like I was born specifically for this moment.
Everything, every decision in your life has led up to this moment.
Just think about that.
This podcast.
This conversation.
These questions.
This is what I was meant for.
So many things could have happened to prevent you.
from from this being a thing.
So just think about that.
The whole world was literally against you.
It's true.
I think back to when I broke my arm in a Burger King playland when I was four years old.
And if that never happened, I might not be on this podcast today.
So it's actually, you know, it's like something that I kind of believe.
I don't know if Ivan feels the same way, but I do believe in like the butterfly effect where like if like one little thing changing your life, it could have probably severely like altered your entire like path.
Evan, what do you think?
Yeah.
I agree. I agree.
But if I think about it too much,
then I'm going to have a crisis.
I think about it a little bit too long.
I think that's why half my brain cells are gone.
As I've been so so kindly stated before the show.
He never misses a chance to roast me.
He always says,
I appreciate that for sure.
So for.
I like to you built this up just so I can knock him down.
Exactly.
that's like his only purpose to be honest like that that really should just be his his official title here
I feel like I used to be a lot more meaner to you though like when you first started um I think I think I think I made you cry at least once or twice
like in the first couple of nuts hey crying healthy if he did I would never admit it that's why someone told me that they saw you crying
because of what I told you and the way I was treating you so that's why I've been nicer to you no
Now that you're vaping, now that you're vaping, I have to give you a little bit of tough love.
Tough love for what?
I don't like seeing seeing you vape.
Don't like it to you tried it, dude.
Don't like to you tried it.
Anyway.
I don't like seeing anyone vape, to be honest.
Listen, Ivan, this isn't about me and my habits.
Okay, this is about our esteemed guest, Jambo, okay?
So Jambo, for those.
Welcome to the show, by the way.
this is this is how it works you thought we're going to be talking about you is really going to be
you listening in on i've been grilling me for an entire hour honestly that's what i thought i signed up for
so it was really weird when you said we have questions to ask you yeah i'm talking today what are you
talking about um okay so for for for those who don't know you so we have a huge audience obviously
from you know from twitter from twitch from many different sources who is jombo can you let us know who you are
and while you do what you do.
Yeah.
So my name's Jambo.
I'm a full-time for a streamer on Twitch.
Jambo, how do we pronounce your name?
Is it Jambo or Jambo?
I want to make sure the next time I say it, it's wrong.
Exactly.
I...
Don't make kids.
I stream a variety of games, lots of RPGs.
I don't know.
I make a fool of myself on the...
internet for a living and I love every minute of it.
Nice.
It sounds like, uh, sounds like Ivan's daily job.
Um, it sounds like my job, but I hate it.
Let me act like a fool and I hate it.
Everyone treats me like a clown.
Stop the pain, please.
So how did you, how did you start streaming?
What was your journey to, to get to this moment?
Oh boy.
I used to watch Twitch a lot.
Um, it's, it's funny because two of the.
people who really inspired me to start streaming were bloody faster and Dr. Lupo.
And when I saw what the platform can do for good, as I was starting in my streaming career,
I knew what I wanted my channel to become.
So charity streaming is a huge part of the way.
We do.
I got started streaming four years ago after a bad relationship I was in ended and I was
living alone for the first time. And I was like, well, I don't want to just go to work, come home,
sleep, rinse, repeat. So I decided that was going to be the moment that I finally started
streaming. And it grew to become something I never anticipated it becoming. And I'm, it still
blows my mind that this is where I am just four years later. That's awesome. What, what were you
doing before? I have worked, um, I've been working since I was 16. So I've had part time and full time
jobs really like my entire adult life.
For the first two years, two and a half years of streaming, I worked full time in an
office.
I was office manager of a company and I don't know.
It was really boring.
That's pretty much that works out.
It's actually funny because I had a very similar path.
I was in a relationship I wasn't too happy with.
And I got let go from my job as like a regional rep for like a phone company.
or something. I'm like, I really hate this. And I wasn't fired because I remember getting a call
like Friday night after I come home from like CES, right? So they take like all the best of the best
and they and they, you know, have us, you know, be like the face of this company. And then like two
Fridays later, I'm sitting, just made a sandwich, about to watch the Mad Men. And I got a call
say, hey, so this is a really hard call, but you don't have a job anymore. But don't worry,
you're still in good standing. If you want to switch like into the program within the company,
you can. And I'm like, no, this sucks. I hate it. I'm going to leave. So like from that moment,
I decided I'm going to finally actually work in gaming and, you know, to do something that
actually wanted to do because I remember getting home and just be like, today really sucked.
Like, nothing happened.
It just really sucked because I don't like where I'm at.
So I decided to make a change, you know, and five years later now, here I am on a podcast with my boss,
give me crap because I vape.
Because you vape.
It's because everything that's associated with vaping.
Do you want to start, Evan?
Do you want to start?
I don't know.
I got time.
I guess you do look pretty cool when you're vaping wearing your fedora in the parking lot.
She's making stuff up at this point now.
I don't own a fedora, okay?
It's called a bowler.
That's not true.
He's actually live right now from a parking lot wearing a fedora and vaping.
It's a bowler.
It's a different type of hat.
I would walk outside and he would just be chilling there at his car, like, puffing away.
That's how we do.
Tipping his fedora and everyone walked inside.
The gamer, right?
holding the door open for everyone.
Hello.
It's funny that you say got laid off because that's what happened to me halfway through 2019.
I got let go from my job for a lot of reasons.
They let a few people go.
I got let go and I spent four months like job hunting all the time.
Like every day I was filling out applications.
I was trying to take interviews.
I was whatever I was doing.
And it wasn't until January of 2020 when my community was like,
okay, well, what if you stopped doing that and you just tried to stream full time now that
you have the time?
And they were, they were like, we got you.
We believe in you.
And I think you can do this.
And I have been full time streaming since that.
And it's been just over a year.
And I've, I have my dream job.
and it all was coming from something else falling apart.
That sounds so insanely scary to kind of put like so much of yourself
until like all these other people, right?
Right, right.
Because like there's always this like fear where people will say,
oh, don't worry, you know, we want you to see you do this thing
and then you actually go do it and then support like might not actually be there.
And you're like, well, shoot.
Yeah.
I was very fortunate because after I lost my job from,
You know, I almost quit streaming, actually, after that because I also, I ended up in the hospital about a month later.
Oh, no.
And I, there was, there was just a lot going on.
So after three days in the ICU, I went home.
And I, you know, there was like this two week recovery period.
And I, I felt, you know, I had no energy.
And I was like, I haven't streamed in weeks and people are going to forget about me.
And who even cares?
I built all of this, but I'm not able to be consistent.
Nobody wants to watch someone who's inconsistent.
and I just I beat myself up and I almost stopped streaming and then my partner um Anthony was like
well you love what you do you can't give up that easily yeah so try and stream just try it again
and see how it feels and I streamed again on November 2nd of 2019 and our channel was at 74
subscribers and by the end of November um we were at 3,600 wow that's amazing yeah so I uh from that
point on, it was just the support that I was met with was unbelievable. Still to this day,
it's, it gives me chill. It's hard to wrap my mind around the fact that there are people who
believe in me enough to do that. And after that, it just, the support kept up. So when I decided to
try full-time streaming while I had the opportunity and while none of these interviews were going anywhere,
it was, it was so frustrating. And I was like, okay, well, I'll give it a try. But like, if it doesn't work,
I can always get another job.
Like, that wasn't ever a worry for me.
I knew that I could make that work.
But then the pandemic hit.
And I'm, I have an autoimmune disease.
I'm type one diabetic.
So I'm immunocompromised.
I can't, I can't go out.
If I were to get sick, it would be, it would be bad.
So I had to stay home.
And the stars just aligned to where I was able to support our households,
our family and myself throughout this year with the help of,
the community around us on top of raising tens of thousands for charity.
It was, it's just everything just came to this last year,
which is, it's such an up and down feeling.
The world is in chaos.
I've been anxious and depressed all year,
but we were able to do such amazing things together.
And I'm just,
it's just wild to think about how this last year's gone.
Yeah, no,
it's been absolutely crazy because even,
even us here,
like we've seen a huge lift and like just sales,
uh,
from from computers right because everyone's at home and one wants to play video games they need it for
streaming they need for work need for whatever and it's been such a such a trip to be like well it's a
gaming computer like who needs it but people obviously have you know how this how this desire for
for these types of products and like it's it's so like incredibly like humbling to be like you know
it sounds kind of cheesy right but i do feel like we are providing some kind of a valuable
service to people um yes whether it's you know a gaming computer or it's like a case you know
or even if it's just something that you buy yourself to make you feel,
make yourself feel a little bit better, right?
Like, you know, for myself, like, you know, I bought myself like these nice Sony headphones, right?
And I'm sure no one has Sony's like, I made this headphone.
So this one guy feels a little bit better, you know,
in this one month where you felt a little crappy.
So you can listen to Drake much louder.
Right.
But there's definitely like a ripple effect.
And like, you know, there's been like a lot of terrible things at this pandemic.
But at the same time, you know, I feel like people have.
have like really like shown that like they still want to be connected.
They still want to speak to each other.
They still want to be together.
Yeah.
Despite everything is happening.
And I feel like streaming has been like a really,
really big part of that.
I mean,
we've seen like just the numbers like just jump up insanely and like a lot of people
are seeing a huge lift of it.
Yeah.
What Jambo described is actually the secret of finding happiness.
Because you know how everyone always says like, you know,
what's the secret to happiness or do what makes you happy?
and things like that.
Like that's a, what makes you happy, in my opinion, is when you find meaning in what you do, right?
And like Jambo said, like she has been able to raise like all this money for doing something good.
And that meaning is what makes her happy.
It's not necessarily that she's playing video games.
It's literally like the impact.
And for me personally, like, you know, someone who works at a company that makes computers for people to play video games,
I also try to find meaning in that stuff.
Like, yeah, you know, it's fun to make means.
It's fun to, you know, clown on Dennis on the podcast and all that.
But I'm always constantly thinking of like all the cool stuff people are doing with their computers.
You know, like whether it's people like Jamba who are raising money or Dr. Lupo,
who literally is raising millions of dollars by playing video games on an NZXC computer
or people who are, you know, working from home now on their NZXC computers or people who are, you know,
people who are teaching classes with their n-60.
Like, there's so many things that you can find meaning in that will bring me happiness,
but everyone's always focused on the happiness part, not the meaningful part.
So kudos to you, Jambo, for figuring that out at such a young age,
because I didn't find that out until I was pretty old.
It's true, though.
It's, I think it's, streaming is so much more than just playing video games.
you know, whatever else.
It's, you have an entire platform that allows you to reach people around the world.
And the power that that has is so much bigger.
There's so much untapped potential in that to change the world.
And I know it's a lofty goal, but that's something I want to do.
You know, you, you hear a lot of people, you hear a lot of people say, you know,
be a part of something bigger than yourself.
And I think that that's so important.
You want the world to be better than when you found it.
And that's the power of Twitch and streaming and the platform that it gives us is the ability to do that.
We raised $20,000 for St. Jude Play Live last year in May.
And our original goal was, I think it was 2,500 for the month.
But people come out to do good together.
There's just a feeling that takes over when you're always,
raising money for a good cause. You know that money is going to help children who are fighting cancer,
help their families not have to pay bills for their stay there and helps everyone be comfortable
and know that they can just worry about the things that matter. And we have the power to do that and make
that difference. And I just think it's it's really special and finding meaning like Ivan said,
finding meaning in what you do. And it makes it that much better. I love what I do. I love streaming. But
without the charity aspect, it's
for me, it's just that.
It's gaming with your friends.
And I think that that's still awesome,
but the meaning behind it for me is just so much more than that.
Yeah, the video game part,
that's just kind of like the icing on the cake, right?
You can honestly find meaning and, you know, being a garbage man,
you know, just picking up people's trash and then realizing that you are actually helping
people stay clean or whatever
or making sure there's no trash
in people's yard so kids complain in it like
little things like that
you can honestly find you can find meaning
in a lot of things that you don't really realize
so it's cool I'm actually
I'm really impressed with you Jampo
that you think like that because
I don't think many people do
how old are you
I'm going to be 29 this July
so I'm 28 yeah
It is really cool to have had the opportunity to do that at the age that I'm that I'm at.
Well, I believe that it's never too late to find your passion and it's never too late to,
you know, pursue what you love.
But I am very grateful that at this point in my life, I have found what that is.
I've made it a career and I've been able to do good alongside that.
It's very special to me.
There's like, I tell this story all the time and I will tell.
it for the rest of my life, but that there, the feeling that takes over when you do charity
streams and you, you raise money for something bigger is overwhelming. And last year in,
in May, we were on the last night of our charity campaign. It was three in the morning. We were
$890 away from $20,000 raised. And in a last ditch effort to push us there, I don't know,
what it was, but there was just this speech came out of me that was just like, I don't know.
I felt, you know how like you watch like a TV show and there's like this epic music playing
behind this person who's giving this like empowering speech to like warriors or something.
Yeah.
I don't sound like that.
I was probably crying.
But it was like this, just this, this like moment where the entire community was just like,
yes, like this is it.
And someone donated $890 that pushed us over 20K at three in the morning.
and I don't think I have ever cried that hard than that moment.
And it was this, this feeling of good,
just this chaotic good energy that it fills the room.
It fills chat.
It just makes it makes everyone feel like what they're doing matters.
And I want to leave an impact on the world.
Like I said, I want it to be better than when I found it.
And I get to do that every day with,
a community that we've built from the ground up, a community that's safe, that's wholesome,
that's happy, that's warm and welcoming and Mimi and whatever else.
And it's just, there's just nothing like it.
And I'm so fortunate to be in the position that I'm in.
And I'm sorry that I'm talking so much.
Don't be sorry.
I'm just glad that it's not, Dennis talking.
Yeah.
No, no, no, no really comes here for me.
It's always for the guess.
That's why, that's why I try to bring the most of verbose.
people as possible so I can just sit back and just try to figure out why nightbot doesn't work.
But no, it's really, it's really good to see people doing good with their platform.
I think it's something that we need more of.
It's something that we're trying to do here too at NCXT, but it's a little bit different
where we're like, you know, such a big ship with a lot of moving parts, right?
We have to make sure that everything's aligned at and that everyone is doing the most that
they possibly can.
And it's something that we're really talking about a lot here is just like, how do we support,
more people with the platform that we have, with the products that we have, with the people that we
partner with, because, you know, it's not something that we can always do a loan,
you know, and while, like, it would be great if we can just donate hundreds and millions of dollars,
right? There's other ways that we can, like, empower other people to aid us and doing the same thing.
So, you know, it's really, really great to see that you're using your platform for that,
because I think it's really important, you know, like if you, if you have the means and the ability
and, you know, the audience, there's no reason why you shouldn't be speaking up on behalf of
people, right?
Right.
I know that there are some people out there who have said things like, you know, it's not my job,
blah, blah.
You're right.
It's not your job.
But you're kind of crappy if you don't, right?
You kind of suck if you don't.
Just saying, right?
A platform for responsibility.
And I'll always stand by that.
Yeah, exactly.
You know, it's like if you're an athlete, you know, you don't have to be a role model,
but you have to understand there are people who do look up to you for what you do, right?
And there is some, some responsibility in that.
And you're not required to do it.
But if you don't, don't be surprised.
that people give you crap for it, right?
Right.
Well, all I'm going to say is if NZXT ever wanted to run a charity marathon for any cause,
I would be absolutely down to participate in that.
You have our info.
We're here talking right now.
So I want to, sorry, Evan, did you have a question?
No.
Okay.
I thought I thought you were saying something.
What are, just going to really back a little bit, what are, what are, what are
some of the challenges of streaming and
let's go a little bit further.
What are some of the challenges of streaming during a pandemic?
Because I feel like it's to complete different things, right?
You know what?
It's it's kind of crazy because streaming through the pandemic
kept me sane.
If I didn't have streaming,
because I haven't left my house since like last March.
Like I said, I'm immunocompromised so we don't go anywhere.
we don't really see anybody.
We just have been at home, me and my partner and our dogs.
And that's pretty much been the last year for us.
Streaming, you know, four or five days a week, whatever it is, has been my socialization.
I talk to people every day.
I get to play games with friends.
We just get to hang out.
And it's been, while a pandemic itself has been rough on my,
mental health and I know many others in a lot of different ways.
Being able to stream during a pandemic has personally kept me from losing my mind.
Right.
And I think a lot of people feel the same way, but I also know that depression takes its
toll and makes streaming hard.
And I've had days like that too.
The depression of being in the pandemic has been devastating some days.
The loss, the frustrations.
it's a lot and it it it definitely makes streaming hard on on some days there are days where
I've canceled because I can't get off of the couch I'm I think about all of the bad that's
happened this year and it just overtakes sometimes but overall streaming in a pandemic has been
what has kept me going um the the the struggles of streaming I would definitely say my
biggest struggles come from my mental health um if I'm having a rough mental health
health day, streaming is very difficult.
Sometimes I can push through other days I can't.
That is the biggest obstacle that I have in streaming right now.
That's a really interesting.
How do you, how would you say, if there are people who are struggling with the same situation,
how would you like speak to them?
What's some advice that you would give them?
Don't push yourself.
Listen to your body.
Take breaks.
Take extended breaks.
The best thing I ever did for myself.
was instill every couple months
I take about a week or more off
of streaming. I step away
and I take time to recharge, to refresh,
to just be on my
own. If my
brain can't handle it on a certain
day, I cancel stream. I don't even question it.
If it's a day where I feel like I can't push
through, I don't. Because that's how you
burn out. That's how you
overextend yourself and it just causes
more harm than good for you.
And without you, there's no stream.
You're the content. You're the creator.
The stream doesn't exist without you.
So if you don't take care of yourself and your body and your mind, you're not going to,
there is no stream.
So those days where you take a break?
Yeah.
What do you really do?
Nothing.
I watch Netflix or I watch some movies or I'll play some games upstairs in the office.
But a lot of times on those days, I don't feel like being in the office.
I get very overwhelmed.
I'm a workaholic.
So if I'm at my desk,
I usually want to be doing something.
I want to be curating content.
I want to be editing videos.
I want to be planning.
I want to be responding to emails.
So usually on those days,
I don't spend a whole lot of time in the office.
I'll watch TV downstairs or in bed
or something like that and just kind of like do nothing.
I just let my body fall somewhere and just rest.
Because my brain needs to rest too.
So if I'm at my desk answering emails and editing videos,
I'm not doing that.
I'm not doing myself a service.
it's not a day off.
It's still me working.
So I just try to remove myself from that.
All right.
How,
so here's something that I know is a thing,
but I don't know how like you guys,
when I see you guys,
I'm like streamers, you know, big streamers, right?
People with audiences.
I know that there's like this drop off
when you do take breaks and you don't like keep that consistent schedule, right?
And I've seen it from like, you know,
from creators big and small that like if you're
not consistently being on there all the time.
Like vacations are like detrimental to like your growth.
How do you, how have you felt is that, is that true for you?
How do you combat that?
What's the, what's it look like?
To be honest, that hasn't been an issue for me.
But I, I have also really, really put energy into cultivating a community that puts
mental health first.
So the people that are in our community, the people that surround me are people who are
very understanding of that. And I, I want it to stay that way. So when I take breaks, it's pushed for me
by the people in our community, by the people who care. So when I come back from a break, it,
it doesn't feel like I've left. And I know that that is a very, I'm very fortunate to have that.
And I have put a lot of work into curating a space that promotes healthy mental health and
taking care of yourself and the compassion for others. And I, I know I, I, I know I,
need to be better about promoting that for myself along with pushing other people to do the same.
So I'm very thankful that I have a community that holds me accountable for taking care of myself.
That's the really important, really important part of streaming.
I know it can be, that said, the anxiety of believing that people are going to forget about you
or if you take a break, no one's going to be there when you get back.
It's very real.
I experience it every time I take a break.
But I also know that if I don't take a break,
and this is what I'm trying to train my brain to think.
I don't know if this will help anyone listening,
but I remind myself that if I don't take a break,
eventually it will impact my content.
And people will not be seeing the same version of me that they're seeing.
If I'm not taking care of myself,
it's going to impact everything.
Right.
So take care of yourself.
That's like the,
that's the biggest moment.
important thing I can I can say that's interesting that you say that because I
honestly feel like you're a lot like me or I'm a lot like you I should say because I
went through the same thing last year not but I'm not a streamer you know but for me
last year and I've said this to Dennis I think a million times already but last
year was like the worst year ever in the history of my life for many reasons one
of them obviously there's like this invisible virus out there that's like
like, you know, threatening you and you want to, like, stay away from it.
And I have a toddler, so I'm, like, freaking out about that.
You know, I don't want this thing to get my kid and all this.
And, you know, and then last year, too, you know, you had the whole, like, Black Lives Matter movement and there was protests.
And I don't know.
Like, I just felt like the world was really imploding in on me last year.
And this year, I totally flipped it.
I was like, you know what?
I'm just not going to, I'm not going to, like, check the news.
I'm not going to scroll through Twitter.
I'm not going to like waste my day, like, looking at what people are complaining about on Reddit.
I'm going to start working out.
I'm going to wake up earlier.
I'm going to read more.
I'm going to eat healthier.
I'm going to do all these things to just make myself feel better because I'm tired of all these other things making me feel bad.
Yeah.
And like nobody else can do it for you, you know.
No one tells you this either.
No one encourages you to do that really.
Well, I will.
100%.
Yeah, because you got to, you got to like, you got to take care of yourself, no matter what you do, whether you're a streamer or whatever.
Yeah.
You could be a clown like me and just you still need to kind of take care of yourself.
You still need no matter what, and I do want to stress this too.
Thank you for bringing that up.
No matter what you do, no matter how much you love what you do, take breaks.
You have to take time away from it.
It doesn't matter how much you love it.
It doesn't matter.
you need to step away sometimes.
Hear you that, Dennis, don't be, step away.
Take a break.
Oh, my God.
All right.
So I'm going to announce right now that I'm taking a month-long break from work, Ivan.
Good luck doing this all on your own.
Peace.
Bye.
You're not allowed.
Denied.
KTILA request denied.
Wait a minute.
Do we just say?
No.
Actually, so there's some good questions from our Discord community here,
Discord.org.
Okay.
Okay.
Actually, regarding this.
First one is, let me find.
to here. There's a bunch of them.
And I forget if you answer it because I was looking through the questions here.
What do you do when you're on a break?
What's like, say three or four things that you just, like really help you relax?
Usually my partner and I will cook like a real meal.
Oh, okay.
You know, like make something simple and easy at home.
Like we'll make chicken, pasta, potatoes, like whatever else we want to make green beans, eat your vegetables.
we will watch a lot of TV.
We've been binging criminal minds and monk recently.
Because he's never seen those.
So I have to show him.
I need to culture him.
So then also I'll watch a lot of movies.
I will take naps.
Sometimes I'll play games.
We've been playing a lot of Valheim.
Ooh.
Yeah, I don't know.
It's just, it's anything.
I can do to relax.
If I feel like I'm still stressed out, like I, that's why I said, like, I try to stay out
of my office when I'm taking a break because I know that I'll try and get work done and I'm
supposed to not be doing that.
So I try very hard to just do things for me, something that will make me happy and feel
relaxed and whatever that might be, it changes by the day.
So.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I, uh, for for myself, it's a little bit harder to disconnect because I work social media,
right so my my like work is on my phone like all the time so sometimes i'll literally like put my phone
away somewhere where it's not at all within reach and just like not touch it and i'll watch a movie
or something because i know the minute i see that that that screen glow i'm like who's talking about
what should i respond should i like should i comment should retweet and is sometimes i just don't
have the patience for it like this this weekend i did is this i think the most disconnecting i think i've
ever done. And it was like the most anxiety ridden thing ever. It's like, what if something's going
really wrong? And they got to let the people know, right? It's hard sometimes. Yeah. No, I completely
understand. I get it. My job is a lot of social media. Streaming is more social media than it is
streaming. And that's also a common misconception. I do so much work on social media and behind
the scenes. Like on top of streaming, I would say I put in anywhere between just, just, you know,
Depending on the week and what's going on, anywhere between 16, 80 hours a week of whether it's including streaming, whether it's streaming and behind the scenes work, video editing, social media, emails, meetings, podcasts.
Like, whatever it is, there's a lot of work that goes into streaming.
So when I'm taking my breaks, I try so hard to disconnect from as much as I feel I can.
Yeah.
It's definitely important.
you need that like mental separation of the like mental break right if not you're not gonna yeah it's it's a it's a it's a no good no good
situation um all right got some more community questions here what does you go to gamer session snack
that's a pretty good one oh no I would say I really like I really like chips I really like any kind of like
crunchy salty snack.
What kind of chips?
I would say
top three, top three chips.
Like sour cream and cheddar.
Okay.
Okay.
My tippy,
tippy top,
sour cream and onion after that.
And then sometimes I just like a good old plain potato chip.
Popcorn,
Cheetos,
Doritos.
I like chips.
So are you just naming all the chips now?
I'm just naming.
My,
my top three definitely goes,
hot Cheetos, sour cream and cheddar ruffles, and and and and takis are slowly starting to creep up the list.
I'm starting to, I'm starting to get it.
I'm starting to figure out why.
Why I like hot, you like hot Cheetos.
Hot and savory for sure.
Yeah.
That's mine.
So do you have like a, we don't have like a white keyboard.
Do you because?
He eats Cheetos with chopsticks.
You do?
Wait, is that real or are you joking?
No, I do.
Because, yeah.
Because it's like it's like really easy to grab one or two if you want, right?
And also you don't get anything on your fingers.
It's like pro level strats.
That's true.
Yeah.
A friend of mine showed me and I'm like, dude, that's that's so brilliant.
Like the heck.
You learn something new every day, folks.
I know, right?
I know.
The correct answer, by the way, was dill pickle, kettle chips.
No, it's not.
That's so good.
No, those are the best chips.
Pickles.
Y'all, yum.
Dill pickle.
I think he's died.
Oh.
Right here.
That's what he gets, actually.
That's, that's talking about Bill Pickle.
Yeah.
It's like,
I'll send you guys an invention.
A picture of my favorite, my favorite chips right now.
No, thank you.
We're good.
Moving on.
Anyway, so, so pickles are a waste of a good cucumber.
That's, uh, this is like number one, right?
It's going to make sure that everyone understands that if you, if you're taking a cucumber
and you turn it into a pickle, you're literally effectively wasting it.
It's disgusting.
Don't do it.
You're, you're literally the worst person on earth if you do that.
Because cucumbers are still.
good by themselves. Why would you turn into a pickle? Picles are disgusting. They're gross.
It's so bad. So bad. Not a fan. Not a fan. Next question from the community.
We have, uh, what's the food stuff? Jade wants to know best lunch meat.
Oh my God. Is pepperoni a lunch meat? Yeah. You can put it in a sandwich. Yeah. It is now. I like
pepperoni. Yeah. On anything. Like anything. Like, if I can eat all.
sub. I put pepperoni on it. If you've never done that, do it. Okay. Interesting.
Pepperoni on pizza. Pepperoni on nothing. I'll just eat pepperoni. Pepperoni on bread, done. Do it.
Pepperoni on other meat, done. Pateroni all the time. Pepperoni.
What's the food questions? All these food questions. Best food to eat when you're sad and favorite food
to eat when you're celebrating. Hot chitos both. It works for both. For both.
Oh, hold that's my favorite food.
Hold up.
I thought we're talking snack foods, but spaghetti.
Oh, no.
Spaghetti is a snack food if you eat it right.
Yeah.
It's pronounced pasgetti though.
Spisgetti?
That's why I say it.
Spaghetti.
Yeah, I love spaghetti.
Spaghetti is delicious.
Yeah.
You've had pepperoni and spaghetti?
I have not had pepperoni and spaghetti.
Oh, guess what?
Now we know.
Now we never have paparoni?
Um, okay, next question.
Uh, here's a, here's a normal one.
What hobbies do you have and what would you like to do other than streaming?
I'm assuming this is for you.
I, let's see, what hobbies do I have?
So I like to, um, I don't know if you all are familiar with this.
I like to play video games sometimes.
Um, I know it's, uh, kind of, uh, rare.
amongst this group, but video games are a big one for me.
I like photography.
That's also a big one.
I'm trying to get back into that, but the pandemic has been,
I haven't wanted to go outside.
Fair enough.
What other hobbies?
I like D&D.
Dungeons for me.
I like to,
binge Netflix shows.
Was the last show you binged?
The last show, well,
currently in criminal minds.
But the last show I binge before that was
Gilmore Girls for like the 30th time.
All right. Yeah, I just
got done with like my seventh Madman
rewatch. The shows is too good. I need
to finish Mad Ben. I don't think
I finished the last two seasons of
Mad Men. So I have to get on that.
The second of the last season is annoying.
After I finish all of the shows I've already
watched all finish a show. I have.
Yeah, exactly, right, exactly.
Yeah.
Why watch something new when you can watch something old for the 50th time?
Listen, I know that it sounds silly.
No, I do it all the time.
I do it all the time.
Like, I literally do it all the time.
Like I,
my,
my rotation of shows that I rewatch are Madman,
uh,
house and,
uh,
full model Alchemist Brotherhood for some reason.
It just slips in there.
I mean,
I talked to my therapist about this because I rewatch shows like the office,
Gilmore girls,
parks and rights,
criminal minds.
Like anything of our,
already seen house is on our list next to rewatch.
And, and my therapist says that it's actually like, it's like an anxiety mechanism because
you already know what's going to happen.
So when you watch it, it's like a comfort.
You're like, okay, well, I know where this is going to go.
I'm not anticipating any surprises, whatever.
Like, it's just like a comfort thing.
You can just watch it and already know what's going to happen.
That's interesting.
I've never heard that.
before.
Yeah.
I think I, is there going on Evan?
I say I also like watching or rewatching like TV shows or movies that I like or reading books that I like.
Yeah.
It I almost feel like we don't need new, new movies, new shows, new books.
Here we go. Here we go.
Well, I'm serious because there's so many like that already exist that you can spend the rest of your life and you'll still, you won't catch up.
You'll never watch every TV show or every movie or read every book or anything or play every video game.
Now I'm going to.
And also, I feel like a lot of new stuff is just not as good for some reason.
It can be a try harder.
This guy talking about Dill Pickle kettle chips, though.
I mean, I can't really trust that.
I'm sorry.
I can't.
What is Wanda Vision?
I don't know what the...
I haven't watched Wanda Vision.
Wanda Vision is Marble
Marvel Studios is first TV show in the MCU,
and it's actually really, really good.
Scarlet Witch and Vision.
Yep.
I don't want to say anything about it,
but it's super good.
On Twitter,
I thought people were talking about the comedian.
What's her name?
Wanda Sykes.
Yeah, I thought she had like a stand-up special
or something called Wanda Vision.
I love that.
The best part about that is that all you heard was the name
and you created your own narrative.
You didn't do anything off about it.
You were like, that'll be a Wanda Sykes comedy special.
I can't think of anything else.
And you know what?
I'm not even going to look.
I didn't look.
He asked us here in the podcast.
He has randomly mentioned it.
So he said it's a Marvel universe.
So there's like, yeah, it's up to you.
Canon.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's pretty cool.
It's really good.
So what they're basically doing is they're,
they're building up the phase four of the Marvel universe within these shows.
They have this one.
What's the next?
The next one.
Falcon, that's his name.
I forget.
I just forget him.
This is so lame.
Falcon,
a Winter Soldier,
how their own show coming up.
And I think there's one other one off top.
I forget.
I can't remember.
I remember.
Oh, Loki.
Loki is a show coming up, too.
And the trailer for that one.
So I don't know how I missed the trailer for Loki,
but I saw it after I saw Wanda Vision.
And I'm like, this is really lit.
I really want to watch the show.
It looks super good.
You were probably vaping in a parking lot.
No, I was in bed eating talkies with chopsticks.
Oh, wow.
Perfect combination.
Yeah.
Okay.
Next question from our lovely community.
Never mind.
The computer's being wonky.
There we go.
I'm just going to go through a random list here.
Yeah.
Okay.
Here's a good one.
Wait, I never answered my question.
What hobby would have?
I would be DJ.
I would love to be a DJ and playing clubs for very little money and get the people moving
when they're trying to get freaky with a random person they met at the club.
I will say Dennis is always playing music.
I am a big fan of music.
It was completely vibing while we were in that starting.
I remember the first time I got in Dennis' car.
It was just like blasting rap music at like full blast.
I'm like, you realize that you don't have to have this like as loud as possible.
right? You're like, what? It's a good song.
Listen, it's, it's, it's city girls, right? And you always have to play city girls
max volume. I'm sorry, right? When I'm in the car, I get ratchet.
It's just, this is how it goes. It's how it goes. Um, okay, uh, what piece of
advice do you wish you were told before you started streaming? I like this one. This is good.
Ooh. Yeah. There's, there's, there's, there's, honestly, there's quite a few things,
but I'm very, um, I don't, I don't know. What worked for me won't work for everyone.
And so pretty generically, the advice I wish I was given is to set boundaries early, like right away.
Like the sooner you can set boundaries, the better because I did not do that.
And it took a long time for me to finally set them because I'm a people pleaser and I'm an empath.
And I want to make everybody happy.
And I don't want to, I don't upset anybody.
And I wish that I had set boundaries way earlier than I did.
Um, but that being said, um, it's not impossible to set them later.
So if you're hearing this and you don't believe that you have appropriate boundaries set for
yourself for your mental health and for your existence, it's not too late at them.
All right.
Cool.
Mine is to start because I, I don't really stream.
I did for a bit like on the side, but.
I did start streaming.
Yeah.
But like, um, actually it was around the, near the middle of the pandemic.
kind of stopped. I was just like, eh, like I'm not really having as much fun as I was,
so I'm going to do something else. That's just kind of me. Like, um,
I'm in the process and I already talked to like, you know, I think I've said it on the show
a couple times. Like mental health-wise, I'm, I'm looking into or I'm currently in the
process of getting tested for ADHD because one of the things that happens a lot is you'll start
new hobbies, get really good at something for like half a minute and then you go do something
completely different. And for me, it's very, it's very obvious in the way that I play video games.
I'll play a new game. Play it for like,
20 hours and then never touch it again.
And I might not even be done with it.
Yeah.
Yep.
Like I just recently reinstalled like Warhammer 40K Donna War II to play like two missions.
And it was like 10 gigs of my life.
And then I just like, okay, I'm done.
I'm going to do something else now.
Back to apex or something like that.
I completely understand that.
That's why I love games like Destiny and stuff so much because there's always something
to grind about.
There's always something to do.
There's always like a little mental like checklist that I can just like, you know,
oh, I'm going to go do this thing, and then, you know, three hours later, I think doesn't get done,
but I played for three hours and I feel a little bit better.
I do have a theory about that, by the way.
Oh, yeah?
I think I told you about it yesterday, the hyperactive hive mind.
Oh, yeah.
Okay.
Yeah.
So it's just the theory, well, this theory is that pretty much just like nonstop influx of stimuli coming our way.
So it's like every day there's new video games.
Every day there's something new trending on Twitter.
Every day there's like new Discord messages.
Every day there's like a new meme.
It's like never ending.
And if you want to, you could literally just spend all day switching back and forth
between every single thing that's coming your way.
And you can open up Facebook and just spend all day scrolling through that feed or TikTok or whatever.
I'm like, who's on Facebook, dude?
Yeah.
And that's why I've always told Dennis, ever since he started working with me, I've always told them multitasking is a myth, Dennis, it's not true.
And I do think that because it, especially now, because it's super easy to get distracted more.
Like, if you, if you're not conscious of that fact, it's going to definitely distract you.
Like you got to, you kind of have to like tune things out.
Otherwise, you're just going to get sucked in.
True.
It's kind of the nature of like how just things are there, right?
Like we kind of can't not be connected because we always have to be aware of like what's going on.
Right.
Like it's just it's it's almost like a necessity, right?
It's like if someone like sends me a DM on Slack, right?
Like they're probably the probably expect me to like to look at it.
Like I remember one of the first things.
Do they expect you to look at it right away and respond right away?
That's the question.
I think it's more it's phomo.
It's that fear of missing out on something that.
Yeah.
because there's like they become this culture where people will like like if you didn't hear about something before it happened you get like it's people are like wow you didn't hear about that you didn't know about that no I'm sorry I sleep sometimes what the vision is come on Ivan geez you heard Wanda vision and you were like no I've decided what that is
I know what Wanda Vision is.
Everyone else is wrong.
It's Wanda Sykes' new comedy special.
I do.
I think I would probably prefer a Wanda Sex comedy special, though.
She's hilarious.
I don't know.
I feel like I've grown out of Wanda Sykes.
I feel like.
Yeah?
Yeah.
I mean, I've, uh,
I thought I did until I rewatched Curb Your Enthusiasm during the pandemic.
And I've never seen that show.
I forgot about Wanda Sykes.
She's hilarious.
There was a movie.
There was a new movie.
where oh my god it had that guy from you know what i'm really terrible at this he was in another
movie as a guy and then in this movie he was another guy and his his phone fell in love with him
and or something like the ai in his phone so he had to like go what i feel like that's the plot to
her no or is that not her that's the computer that's where he falls in love with his computer or whatever
but like this guy anyway it came out last year like late last year
Jacksony, thank you.
Somebody in chat just said it.
It was Jexie.
And he has to go into the phone store to get a new one.
And Wanda Sykes is the person who works at the phone store.
And oh my God, it was so funny.
And I agree with you.
Wanda Sykes is hilarious, perfect role.
But it was just like the snarky phone help person.
And that was the last thing I saw Wanda Sykes in.
And I wish it was in more of the movie than it was.
Yeah, I can't remember last.
I saw her in something.
I think the last thing I saw her was in like a documentary.
Talked about something else.
I forget what it is though.
But not that like I can't remember seeing her at all in recent memory.
Like I remember seeing Bill Burr and like the Mandalorian or something.
He's like the weirdest thing in the world.
So oh yeah, hey, there's that guy.
I guess he's a, you know, he's Star Wars canon now.
Yeah, it's so odd.
Okay, let's see here.
For a minute of times.
I get a couple of extra questions here.
from the community.
Anything that you want to ask about?
Do you want to ask us any questions?
Do you want to bring any topics up?
The main question I had was we kind of talked about it already.
But would y'all be interested in collaborating on a charity event in the future?
I think that sounds a good idea.
What do you think, Ivan?
Yeah, definitely.
this actually last year was the first year where we really started doing more with charity like we've always you know
like supported charity one way or another um yeah like we've been sponsoring lupo for I think
three years now so every year when it does this big stream you know we're always like donating stuff
but this last year was actually like the first year where we started taking it a little bit more
seriously, you know, but actually like making, you know, donations to different charities ourselves,
not just like telling people to donate.
Right.
So yeah, I think it would be awesome to do some sort of charity thing together with you, Jambo.
Yeah, I would love that.
Or a guy, Jombo.
Did you get your name from Rambo?
I didn't.
My name used to be on Twitch, Jamie Bobamey.
and I went into a friend's stream for the first time and they were like,
they were like, yo, what's up?
Jambo Bambi?
And I was like, close, not quite.
Took about five tries.
They finally got my name right, but it was too late.
I went back to my stream the next day and I was like,
so this person called me Jambo Bambi.
And then everyone started calling me Jambo.
So it's a super catchy name
Like it it is
It could totally be like a
It could be like a dating app
I got my match on jambo.com
I don't I don't want people to date on me
Please please don't date on me
I don't even know
I don't know that means dating on me like
It's a very marketable name
It is a marketable name
name, which is why it's my name.
I feel like it's marketed well for the market.
Quick, someone, you know, registered jambo.com.
I'm going to, it already is a website.
Don't think I haven't tried.
This means you of a zombo.com.
You remember?
It was like that web 1.0 like website.
I remember Sangha.
Zenga, Zenga, the, the app developer or Zenga the, the, the journaling
A weird journaling social media platform.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I grew up on a,
on all that stuff.
Like I remember like,
you had like something awful,
albino black sheep,
Newgrounds was like a thing.
This is like before.
Newgrounds.
Yeah.
New grounds.
Yeah.
Spond a lot of,
a lot of creators,
surprisingly enough.
I think a lot of people forget.
I know.
Yeah.
Ego Raptor.
Yeah.
All.
Yeah.
It's yep.
Yep.
Yep.
Yep.
Do you like Rambo?
Do you?
Yes.
I have I've seen one Rambo film and it was, I don't remember.
It was a long time ago.
They're all the same, I guess.
It was Rambo.
So it was good.
It was, you know, it's good.
It's solid.
Solid.
I showed my wife Rambo for the first time, like a couple of months ago.
And like she loved it.
but then she looked at me and she's like,
this is like the weirdest movie I've ever seen in my life.
It's just like it's like nonstop,
over the top type of things.
Yeah.
I don't even want to describe them on this podcast,
but just like ridiculous scenarios
that would never happen in real life.
But I like the name Jambo.
It's very catchy.
Thank you.
I appreciate that.
My favorite part about it is that I can't pronounce it correctly
even though someone told me three times in a row
how to pronounce it.
No, you can go off to whatever you want.
I'll even answer to.
like like like a person yeah i'm like i'm like super bad about that because like for myself when it
get something stuck in my brain like that that that that's how it is i can't get it out yeah like
there's a moment in time yeah there's a moment in time where like i was pronouncing hamburger
incorrectly on purpose and i was saying hangaber right and i was doing this for like a month or
something right i i didn't remember why can i ask why because i like screwing with like language i like
I like saying things in like a weird way for no other reason just to amuse myself, right?
It's just the way.
You woke up into chaos.
Yeah, exactly.
Yeah, exactly.
So like it's not it's not hamburger.
It's not helicopter.
It's heckalopter.
It's not telephone.
It's telephone.
It's teflone.
Right.
For whatever reason, you just do that.
Right.
But I was at a restaurant and I'm like, okay, cool.
You know, like what I'm going to order?
Oh, this barbecue bacon cheeseburger sounds great.
So I look up with the lady.
She's like, oh, yeah.
I want to get the hang.
And I forgot how to say it correctly.
and like hangarberg.
Like you asked her?
Yeah, yeah.
And I was like, oh, I'm so sorry.
I don't know why I said it.
I said it wrong.
Let me get the hamburger.
And she goes, don't worry about it.
My grandson does it all the time.
It was like constantly, is it constantly like sabotaging myself in front of people.
And I'm like, excuse me, miss, I'm 20, okay?
I'm not a child.
At least you're consistent.
All right.
to be something in this role.
He had to be something.
Yeah.
Yeah, exactly.
Discord chat.
Pesgetti, right?
Spaghetti.
Spaghetti.
Yeah.
I don't know why.
I just, I just do it.
Anyway, that's a, that's a fun story.
Okay.
I got, I got one last question for you.
And then we're going to, and then we're going to hop off.
Most embarrassing stream moment.
I got to know.
Oh, no.
Anybody who knows me in chat is already going to know the answer to this question because I have
not lived it down.
I don't know if I ever will.
It's been about a year and a half
since this happened. Oh, boy.
But I would.
So I was streaming.
I was just doing my thing.
And someone came in
and gifted a hundred subs.
They dropped a 100 sub bomb.
I do not handle generosity well.
I kind of go into a panic.
And I don't really know.
how to reply. So usually I either cry or I scream or I have to walk away or whatever. So I went to
stand up to walk away, but I didn't take off my headset. So it was still connected to my mixer.
And I got scorpioned back by my headset cable. Oh no.
To the ground. Did anyone clip that? I was going to say if someone someone has a clip.
Yeah, no, we have it somewhere.
I'll give someone 100 subs right now if they find that clip.
I can try to find it for you.
I think I might have it.
Someone's got to have it somewhere for sure.
Oh my gosh, it's got to be somewhere.
If anybody watching right now is able to find that clip.
And we should put that on jambo.com on a little.
loop. I don't own
jambo.com.
Jambo.com is owned by somebody else.
We just got to buy out the domain,
easy peasy. We can do it.
You should buy
jambo.com.
J-A-H-M-B-O-H.
Exactly.
Oh, my gosh.
All right. Yeah, we'll find it and I can
I know
somebody has it, so I'll
have to, I'll have to try and find that.
I thought I had it bookmarked, but I might have actually deleted the tweet because,
because you hate it so much.
No, it had it, unfortunately, it had a, um, it had music in it.
It had shooting stars.
Oh, that was one of those.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But I might, I might be able to find it.
You could just give me like a couple of minutes here.
So talk amongst yourselves about vaping or whatever else you want to talk about.
All right.
So Ivan, how about them Dodgers?
Do you think they're going to do it this year?
I hope so.
Springs training started.
I would say, yeah.
I have no idea when baseball starts, but I'm assuming it's like soon because it's in the spring, right?
Yeah, the spring.
Yeah.
Spring games.
They started like, I think like last week, actually.
Okay, okay.
Any big news you're excited about from, from, from,
that from that team or any
the Dodgers? Well the big news is
trades. Anybody hit some good balls? I'm going to sort of
pass away recently.
I'm sad. But I'm
glad that the Dodgers were able to win
one last World Series before he
passed. So you got to see that, which is
pretty cool.
But no, I'm just
excited to watch the Dodgers
in action. I hope I can go to a baseball game this year.
I've been wanting to take my
daughter. I took her
when she was
three months old
NCXT had a Dodger game day
my wife was like
why are we going to take a three month old baby
to a baseball game? I said no trust me
it'll be fine, it'll be cool and it was like the worst
experience of my life because we had
to take a stroller
so yeah it was
really annoying and we were only there for like
15 minutes and then I just couldn't
take it anymore and I said can we get out of here
this is no place for a baby
but now that she's three
I definitely want to take her
and, you know, buy her a hot dog and sing along during the seventh inning stretch and all that.
It'd be fun.
Yeah.
That would be fun.
Most stadiums aren't very friendly to, you know, non-bipel beings pretty much, right?
Like, if you're in any situation where you can't just walk on your legs, like, it's just a pain.
And, like, I've noticed this, too, like, in, like, a lot of, like, older type of buildings like that are just super terribly set up for you to get around.
I never thought this way or even realize this before I had a kid,
but most places are not baby-friendly.
Like restaurants, grocery stores, baseball stadiums.
Oh, you found it?
Oh, you found it?
Found it.
I just sent it to you in that I can put it.
I can put it into the Twitch chat if you want.
I don't know where you want that,
but I sent it to you in our Google Hangouts.
I was going to watch and play the audio.
I just dropped it on Discord.
Let's watch this.
We should retweet this for no reason.
Oh, my God.
You know what?
We should retweet this.
Oh, my God.
No way.
If you do that, you won't.
No.
You're tweeting.
Should we, okay, should I, should I quote retweet it or just retweet?
Oh, my God.
Just be tweeted with no context would be funny.
Okay, perfect.
There you go.
Easy, peasy.
Love it.
Got it.
Okay.
It's now there for the world to see.
Enjoy our 900,000 followers seeing your.
We got a like on the retweet.
We got, let's see if one picks it up.
All right.
I think, I think this is a good spot here to kind of like bookend this.
So.
So, let me, let me, there we go.
There we go. There we go.
Thank you for joining us, Jumbo.
Jambo, Jambo, Jambo, thank you.
Jambo, Jesus.
J-A-M-B-O, J-A-M-B-O, jam like, like jam and jelly.
What on a sandwich?
Sandwich with a jambo, a jambo sandwich.
Come on. Come on.
That's actually, that actually makes more sense.
A tore de Jamon

Wait, hold up
I've been sending me stuff
Okay, never mind, hold up
I'm just trying to stick to the outline here
Eh
Okay, so I'll say that only two big important things
The first ones, we only have the second one
So it's whatever
That's why I stopped doing them
Okay, so number one, speaking of charity
We are doing Chalkwock OC
Which is a charity for Children's Hot
Hospital of Orange County here in Southern California,
chalkwalk.org slash NZXT.
It'll be on our socials.
Keep an eye out for that.
If you donate at least $25, I believe, right, Ivan,
you get a chance to win a free computer.
So don't let me win it because I'm actually eligible to win his computer.
Don't let the guy who works for the company win this computer
because I will literally gut it for that $30.90 and throw the rest away.
I actually don't know what you know.
You don't need to actually donate the money either yourself.
You can also raise the money.
Yes.
If you sign up for the NCXT team, you can get your parents or your teachers or your friends, your homies, whatever.
Your gambos.
Get every single person you know to give you $1 and you'll be entered into his raffle.
Get every single person you know to give you $1.
Bro, I just say $1.
It's $1.1.
It's $1.
We should convince everyone in the server to give me a dollar.
They don't have money, do they're broke.
What?
They get into Fort Nitro.
Come on.
to convince everyone in the server to give me one dollar
if everyone in the server gave me one dollar i will i will retire
okay please give him a dollar i want him to go
i can't deal with this man anymore um
but yeah we'll we'll be tweeting about this uh instagramming about this
facebooking if you're still on there about this uh and i think it's still being
Spam on Discord, so I have to worry about that.
Second, so do that.
Chalkwalk.org slash NXT will be streaming.
We're posting it in different places.
We're also hiring if you guys want to work for us and do things.
N60.com slash careers.
We're looking for all kinds of people and all kinds of positions.
A friend of my dad's, he, like, he applied to be a copywriter, but I don't know him.
So, like, I didn't vouch for him because I don't know who the heck this guy is.
He could be like the best copyrighter in the world.
I know, right, right?
Well, he should be watching because if he's watching, then he has a better chance.
But, yeah, but my dad's like, hey, so someone that I work with, his son, like, applied to be a junior copywriter or something.
And I'm like, okay, well, I don't know him as much as I want to give a random person I don't know a vouch.
Like, what if he's, like, really, really bad?
He gave him the best thing ever, right?
The best writer we've ever had.
But if he was really bad, then, like, it's kind of on me, you know?
So, like, yeah, man, they'll reach out, you know?
So the moral of this story is don't ask me for a recommendation because I'll be very weird about it.
I'm not good with that stuff.
Don't ask me for anything.
All right.
Yeah, but we're looking for all kinds of positions.
Engineers, you know, customer service reps.
I think we're still always looking for builders.
People always ask the same questions.
Like, are you guys, do you guys have remote work or can I work from home or any positions where I live?
The answer is always yes.
There's jobs all over the world.
you don't have to come to our headquarters if you don't have to
unless you actually have to be there.
So like a job that would require you to be in our office
would be something like building a computer
because we're not going to send you computer parts
and you just build it from your house.
Someone literally asked me on Twitter,
if I apply for this job but I live in like New Jersey,
will you ship me the parts so I can build it there?
I'm like, what, no?
Like then we'll send it to the person they build themselves.
But we have positions like tech support,
inventory, supervisor.
this one's in German.
Mitar, Beter, 4D PC montage.
I don't know what that is, but apply for that.
Apply for that if you live in Munich.
Customers service specialists, ERP engineers, graphic designers, all kinds of stuff.
Wait, why is my job on this list?
Uh-oh.
So listen, Ivan.
I didn't want to tell you here.
Business managers, sales managers, you know, so all kinds.
We have actually, this is a lot of positions.
Jesus.
Any openings for podcast hosts?
I hope.
Dude, I hope.
I'm over this already.
So yeah, apply nzicc.com slash careers.
We should probably make a post about this too, so let people know they were hiring.
Probably.
We're looking for the best of the best.
If you want to know what that looks like, it's like to me.
If you want to make a really quality post about the fact that you're hiring,
you should just post the clip right now of you saying that in German,
because that will really get the point of.
cross. Exactly, yeah.
The applications would skyrocket.
They would boost.
They would.
Going to the moon with a diamond, diamond hands.
Anyway, there we go.
Thank you.
Jambo for joining us.
Really appreciate it.
Had a really fun time.
Thank you.
We'll reach out to you about that charity stuff.
Yes.
and get some stuff going.
I don't know what else.
It's really pretty much it.
Oh, yeah.
So to continue, you guys.
I got an announcement, actually.
Yeah?
Don't forget to take off your headset
when you're walking away from your computer.
All right.
You know what?
Most important advice you could give somebody, to be honest.
I've done that.
I've done that so many times.
Oh, my gosh.
Listen to previous episodes on Apple Podcasts,
Google Podcast, Spotify, and SoundCloud.
And also I guess Twitch now, we're on Twitch.
Say hi on Twitch.
Yay!
Yay.
We'll be making this bigger and better.
Or just make Jamba do it for us.
Jambo.
God, dang it.
What do it keeps saying?
Ugh.
My God.
It's okay.
You do whatever you want.
Like I said.
No.
No.
It's not how it works.
No, it's not how it works.
I had to say it the right way.
Jambo.
Jambo.
I'll do it for you.
I'll do it for you.
I got you.
Exactly.
Also.
I'm the NXT podcast now.
Exactly.
The NXXXXXX.
club cast. This is the club cast.
Also, folks,
I'd get a little serious with you for a minute.
Get a little serious. It turns down for a second.
If you can do us a super huge favor,
please leave us a positive review on the platform
of your choice if you like what you hear,
but especially,
especially if you don't.
Because we love our haters.
Find our good friend
Jambo on Twitch.tv slash
Jambo or Twitter.com slash play with Jambo.
Yes.
All true.
Very correct.
All true.
Yes.
If you join the Gleam giveaway, we'll be, we won't be announcing the winners the same way because not everyone is on Discord.
So we don't want to give everyone's Discord information.
We will be emailing you.
So keep an eye out for that to find out redemption instructions.
If you're not listening live, you're missing out.
But it's okay.
We still love you.
And with that, folks, we'll see you next time.
Thank you very much.
Be safe. Take off your headphones when you walk away from your computer.
Bye.
Thank you, Rambo.
