Starting point is 00:00:00 Hello, everyone. Welcome to episode 143 of the NZXC podcast. Today, we have a very special podcast today. My name is Mike. It was me as always is Ivan. Ivan, first of all, how are you doing? And second, can we introduce our lovely guests on what's so special about today. Hey, Mike.
Starting point is 00:00:18 I'm very happy to be here on the last podcast of 2022. And you're right, it is a doozy. It is a special edition. We have a bunch of lovely, wonderful guests. and I'll go around the room, let everyone introduce themselves, but welcome Noir Network to the NZXT podcast. How are you? Hi.
Starting point is 00:00:36 Hi. We're good. We've watched it. Yeah, I'm very excited. So let's just go around the room a quick, and everyone introduce yourself, let everyone know who you are and what you're all about. Mirror, I'll start with you. Hi, y'all.
Starting point is 00:00:53 Names X Mirror Mirror, Content Creator, Community Manager, and the founder of Naur. I'm not really feeling the best. I'm over here hanging on the string, so I probably won't be as talk about as usual, because I'm going through changes. I am all about education, prosperity, and sharing knowledge to my fellow man and fellow femme. Yay. That's the blurb consolidated, honestly. Allie, your turn. Oh, hi, guys.
Starting point is 00:01:27 I'm back to Alley Ken. I'm one of the community. of the NOR network. I'm also a content creator on Twitch for like eight years, yikes. Um, uh, I worked in several different companies and stuff and when I was brought into the NOR network, I was brought into help share the knowledge and help our fellow femmes, you know, get, get to the bag, basically. All right. Thanks. Kathy, you're up. Hi, everyone. My name's Kathy. Um, as you can tell. I'm from
Starting point is 00:01:59 from the lands of beans and toast. I'm also a community manager and with the Nile Network. And yeah, I've just been the Twitch streets, baby. No, I'm sorry. I'm so dumb. I'm so sorry. I'm here. I do streaming. I do community management and hosting things. And I'm just here to vibe.
Starting point is 00:02:22 We've done a lot actually behind closed doors after a group. So it feels really nice to kind of do something, all together. And it's late for me, so it means that I get to start early with festivities. Thanks. There you go. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:38 All right, Keith, save the best for last. I mean, you know, it's not like, but hey, my name is T. My content creation NC Cup 181, community manager of Nore. I just like, and I enjoy, like, making people laugh and like making sure everybody's stand on their toes with content, make sure they don't slack. they know. I also like managed my husband as well. So we have like this like, oh,
Starting point is 00:03:07 group of just lovely content creators that we just love to help. Like everybody like in our circle that we're just here for support, love, laugh, cheers. That's really like to do. She's like our accountability and ideas. Accountability.
Starting point is 00:03:25 Yes. I don't know. But yeah. Well, yeah, thank you, everyone, for being here and for introducing yourselves. My next question for y'all, I guess anyone can answer this, but please let everyone know what is the Noir Network. Okay. Okay, I'll take it. Go ahead. Yeah, I'm going to let Allie there.
Starting point is 00:03:50 The Noir Network is a, it's a lot of things. It's a group, it's a team, it's a, um, A gaggle. I'm kidding. But it's ex-Maramara, who's our founder, who's not feeling well, of course. She has been in the content space for many years. And a lot of times she was, like, one of the only black femmes in the room or would notice that she would be, like, the only person making it in certain spaces. And she didn't want that.
Starting point is 00:04:19 She didn't want to be the only. So she created this amazing group and founded it. And she wanted it to be very business-centric because when we're in the country, content creator space. There is no school. There is no how-toes. It's literally you researching on your own. You find it out by experience and just going day-to-day learning things. And we make a lot of mistakes, like a lot. Like we probably signed away our babies at some point. We don't know. There's a lot of mistakes, especially contracts, legality, things like that, especially, you know, FTC. There's so many much stuff that's in this content creation space.
Starting point is 00:04:58 And at the same time, she loves gaming and Twitch and stuff. So a lot of, I think most of our members have like a gaming side to it, but also we go outside that medium. And just we're on different platforms, not just Twitch, YouTube, TikTok. We have social media people. And yeah, and we just come together and share our ideas. We help each other business-wise. If anyone has a question, we try to formulate it.
Starting point is 00:05:24 And also we network, because it's the Nord network, we network. We tried to bridge the gap between companies, other creators, and things like that. Okay, that's the quickest I could go. That was good. That's good, yeah. So before we kind of go into what this is all about, how did you guys all end up working with or for a mirror? How did you guys end up kind of like finding it? And then what did you guys, any cool business decisions you guys had to do along the way for that?
Starting point is 00:05:55 T. I'm first. I think you've been here longer. I feel like I feel like whenever it was like when she established it I think she was just tired of people
Starting point is 00:06:12 you know, growing content creators over. Like you know what I'm saying? It was sort of like man this is happening. Why are they doing this? Why are they doing that? And it's like, okay, so
Starting point is 00:06:21 people just wasn't communicating enough. And even, from like the side that I'm on like with my husband and stuff like people are tired of like not communicating so she was just like you know what forget it we started out with like a little discord group of 10 and then afterwards she was like all right y'all ready i was like ready i was like i was waiting for that i'll be ready you know um i will say you know i think i tell there this every year that how appreciative i am for her asking me to be a part of the team because
Starting point is 00:06:54 it really did help me and bring me out of like a little rut that I was in. So I'm very thankful for having an opportunity just to like sit alongside like of these wonderful like femmes. It's like it's amazing opportunity to just be here, actually be heard, you know, be seen. And you know, it's just, it's just great. Like for me, that's my side. So I applied to be a member. I go and I think like was, I think Cassie was with. them in the little group, but I applied to be a member. I think Cassie was one of the few people
Starting point is 00:07:29 that we kind of knew. She, because Cassie was making moves. And we were like, okay, Cassie. Yeah, Bates was on the go. She could teach this stuff. And we actually have like a big, like, you know, welcome to Nore meeting. And things were being shared. And I was sitting there with my face, like, what? Y'all doing what? I was like so, I was so confused because with the people that I was surrounded by, I was in awe of a lot of them, and to hear, like, some of the business decisions that they might be, like, not doing so well with kind of, like, hurt me because I'm like, I just sign, like, something for a bag.
Starting point is 00:08:05 I want them to get a bag, too. Like, what's going on? We got to get it together. And I started making, like, you know, I was trying to help within that meeting. And then after that mirror came to me, it was like, okay, I need you to come and be a community manager. And I was like, what?
Starting point is 00:08:18 And I was like, oh, okay. Well, you got to get that, that girl who was told. She was talking to her name is Tika. You got to get her. I was like, you got to get her because I like her. I don't know what it is, but I like her. And yeah, we kind of just, when we had our first, like, committee manager meeting, we just kind of, like, melded.
Starting point is 00:08:37 I don't know how to explain that. I feel like we was in the same, we was in the same space, but we just never, like, really came together or whatever. Because, like, energy, you know, some people say they were like fire and water. I don't know if that's absolutely. know if that's absolutely true but yeah that's what they say they're calling us fire and water yeah and how about you can't you had you end up on the on the team um i think these that are
Starting point is 00:09:02 being quite a polite and professional but i'll just drag on my internet so basically around the time people were being silly they were just being selfish of opportunities getting opportunities closing the door um blocking everyone not even just black femmes just everyone and mirro's been here like long enough that she was like look this is what should be happening this is what shouldn't be happening and it's funny because i was talking about this just today because i was like i'm trying to tell someone how to work out their rates and i didn't know what to charge for a job um and i got scared and i was like oh i don't know if i should charge this much and me was like get that money you best do it now i'm like oh i don't know you just like charged with um so i shot my shot
Starting point is 00:09:46 with that and that was like my first proper paid job and I was going to go a third of their amount because I didn't think that I was worth their amount that mirror saying that I should charge. And then when I did that, then I could help advise other people that were coming to me and saying like, oh, what should I charge? And then it went from there and it was like, well, we don't want to just keep this information to ourselves. Like there's other people that need help. And then in short, what everyone said, but that's how I started. And then I was like, okay, I can help the EU side because, you know, Noir's global baby.
Starting point is 00:10:19 But then I just get involved in everything and they include me with everything. And they're like, oh, we're going to do this. So I'm just kind of like, hello, mate. And come along with me. Okay, this is Cassie. Can you like email somebody on the other side of the pond? No, I'm kidding. But it just balances it out because also we realize like the people that are wake up all different times
Starting point is 00:10:41 and because we're across, it just means that there's always someone. on that can kind of back it. So yeah, that's how it happened. All right, that's awesome. And I guess there's a little pop quiz for you. A pop quiz. How did NZXT and Noir actually end up working together on stuff? You guys know?
Starting point is 00:11:01 We threatened you. No, we're joking. No. Well, it was something to Mira, right? Because I remember Mira was on this podcast before. Yeah, yeah. on my podcast from like last year. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:14 And again, I think you guys wanted to continue to work with her and with Noor and you sent an email. I think that's how it goes. I don't know. I think before the podcast, we actually did a social media takeover with Mira. Right. Oh, yeah. Yeah, she was talking about Nor too. I remember that.
Starting point is 00:11:33 It all started, honestly, it was right when the pandemic started in 2020, it was like a weird time. because that's when the George Floyd protest happened, right? And, you know, like me working in the social media, I could not open up social media without seeing that in my face, right? And me, you know, being a minority, being Mexican, working at NGXT, where we have people from like all sorts of different backgrounds. We have, you know, Latinos, Asians, black, you name it. We have all sorts of people here.
Starting point is 00:12:09 I thought, you know, it's kind of a really like stupid thing for us to not acknowledge what's going on in the world, right? Like it just felt really wrong, I guess, to just talk about video games when the world is burning around us, right? So we made a conscious effort where we're like, all right, what are some organizations out there that are doing some awesome things that we want to get behind that can help us, you know,
Starting point is 00:12:36 spread the word of what it is to be diverse and inclusive and we just stumbled across noir and we're like man this is exactly who we want to like you know like hook up with and ever since then you have that that's that's honestly how it started and um i believe uh i forgot how the conversation started but we just started talking to mirror and we're like you know i think it was during uh black history month we're like just take over our twitter account answer some questions and um you know we'll go from there and then ever since then you know It's been awesome watching Noir grow, watching all you beautiful fans, just blossoming and doing your thing. And it's been a pleasure of supporting y'all.
Starting point is 00:13:21 So thank you for everything you do. Yeah. No. Yeah. Come on. Come on. I'm not. I was going to say, like, our first meeting.
Starting point is 00:13:31 And I'm just going to say, like, thank y'all. Because you guys even were like, we talk about intent a lot, especially. like me. I always talk when I go into meetings and things like that. I'm like, it's okay to be intentional about like what you want to spread because there's so many people who are intentionally spreading like filth and and just like toxicity. You know what I'm saying? So it's like, why can't we do that for diversity in a sense? And you guys were very adamant of like we don't want this just to be like for Black History Month. You guys were like, how can we just help you overall? You got, you pointed out like a couple of things to us and we were just like, just like, just
Starting point is 00:14:09 I don't know, just help. Like, that's it. Like, that's what you can do? Like, how can you guys help? Like, give us the resources. And we kind of all, like, kind of laid stuff on the line. So I really appreciate NXD because throughout this whole year, they actually were giving away PCs.
Starting point is 00:14:25 I think all four of us got PCs. And a couple of our members got PCs. And there might be some on the way. We don't know. But, and it's been an amazing relationship. These are the relationships that I usually tell people to look for only because there's so many times we're as content creators. It's more so like giving take type of a situation. And you guys kind of saw the value in us and like just offered like how can we help.
Starting point is 00:14:58 And then doing the holidays, it's been amazing as well for both. I know. I love that. It's been fun to watch. So thank you. Yeah, no. Our pleasure, trust me. It's been, it's equally satisfying for us to team up.
Starting point is 00:15:15 So thank you, too. Also, big shout out to Talley. Yes. Jolly's. I was like, oh, my gosh, it's so cute. Halli-A-Li-Hs. I remember when we had our first meeting, we came up and we were like, that's the best meeting that you've had.
Starting point is 00:15:29 The best. I wasn't there initially for the first one. I was like, sad. It was like, oh, so good. And you missed it. I'm like, way to rub it in. Way to rub it. Okay. And then when I actually
Starting point is 00:15:40 When I was actually able to make it, I was like, oh my goodness, I'm just up here chilling They like accepting us and everything I wasn't, I wasn't and the vibes was just good. I'm like, wait, can I say that? It's like, you do everything you want to be. I'll say, oh, okay, so then you know I'm still being good though, I'm being good It does feel like we clicked from the start right? Yeah but I guess
Starting point is 00:16:08 I guess I'll transition a little bit into each personal things now. What do you guys all do before you guys started like basically full-time streaming? Oh, oh God. Who's first? Mary, what did you want to go first? Walmart. Yeah, Walmart. Going through changes at Black Friday, working at Walmart and not being able to afford to shop at Walmart for the holidays.
Starting point is 00:16:35 Yeah. Yeah, that sucked. And then I kind of got into streaming. It was recommended. I always tell people this. It was recommended to me. I did it. I started to have a lot of fun with it.
Starting point is 00:16:50 And then I was like, damn, I started looking at like my finances. I'm like, I make more from like one day of streaming in two weeks of work. I'm about to quit my job. And that's where I went to all the time streaming. I was like, buy Walmart. And then here I am. And that was like, seven years ago
Starting point is 00:17:08 years ago over seven years ago at this point thanks for you guys Ali I was basically like an executive administrator for a small business
Starting point is 00:17:21 so a lot of my business epic comes from that I guess so like writing emails contacting I actually had to do it for a juice company so I had to like talk to the FDA do like inspection stuff
Starting point is 00:17:35 It really built me up for this. And then I transitioned into full-time streaming in 2020 after COVID because I couldn't like go into work. So it was like, let's do this. And then I think was it last year, Best Buy hit me up. So it doesn't look like I'm going back to work. No, I'm kidding. No, but yeah. It was an easier transition.
Starting point is 00:17:58 I didn't even get to do like the fun, I'm going full-time thing that people usually do. It was more so like, yeah, I'm laid off. So time to get to work on this stream and it worked out. So sometimes things have to happen for you to move out of situations. So yeah. Yeah, they think I don't be watching. I'll be seeing them. With that stream, man, what that's shorted?
Starting point is 00:18:26 Okay, I'm not talking. And that's why I'm behind. Cassie, how about you? You could go, right? Or tea. Me? Okay. Go and take it.
Starting point is 00:18:36 Oh, okay. So you said before, I mean, I'm a registered ICU nurse still. I guess like, I don't want to say that. I actually like doing it. I love people. I really like to communicate with a lot of people as well as like taking care of them. I feel like that a lot of people don't have the voice to speak up for themselves and advocate for themselves. So that's where I come in and just try to like speak for those who like don't maybe not. not their loved ones are not available or something like that.
Starting point is 00:19:09 Just making sure that they are treated fairly, equally in the medical field. As far as like content creation, I do feel like that I enjoy making the content. I enjoy making people laugh. I also enjoy, you know, like they say, the accountability thing, not to like make sure that, not to fuss or anything like that, but I know their goals and I know what they want. And I do feel like that sometimes people do. need that little oomf or that push, not forcing, but that little um, you know, if they see you're doing it, then maybe they'll do it, um, or something like that just to
Starting point is 00:19:44 kind of like give them that, um, what's the word I'm looking for? Um, I don't know. That's it. The um, yeah, give them the um, the push. Yeah. So I mean, that's what I, I just like doing. I like, I like saving lives and I like gaming, you know, I try to like mesh them and it's working fine. So, I know. Yeah. Let's do it.
Starting point is 00:20:08 So I'm not a full-time creator, although I feel like I work full-time hours, even though it's not my main job. I do. My main job is within care, a bit like tea, but obviously not nursing. T's doing good stuff out there. I just, I'm in the office and I have like, we've been working. My brother and I have owned our business for probably about 15 years or so. and it like settled and I wanted to do stuff that's a hobby and when it became a business I started writing I do games journalism and then we had a gaming cafe in Scotland before lockdown and then I transitioned those like skills to I don't know I just had too much time and I was like okay what shall we do set up BT UK with Ibonics and then Mira pulled me from my gutter and was like come and be useful.
Starting point is 00:21:07 And then we did. Not what? This story. So still doing the streaming and I still have my job but I also set up an events company in February and I've been doing events as well. So I don't think that I'd never want to stop my main job because I love it but I don't know the whole gaming and content creation is also my bag. So I like having both.
Starting point is 00:21:36 So what's been your favorite moment since you've been streaming? Muriel will start with you. Yeah, my favorite moment? Oh my God. And why is it this podcast? That's exactly. I'll never know. This is.
Starting point is 00:21:55 This is true. Well, I don't want to get too tender. But this is great. I'm definitely feeling that you got me wracking my brain. This is definitely one of my favorite moments. But I definitely would have to say one of my favorite moments is
Starting point is 00:22:18 when I got invited to the UK for a Sims game release. Yeah. That was different because never did I think that content creation would take me out of the country. When you start this line of work, it's a lot of things that you don't know, I guess is possible.
Starting point is 00:22:43 There's a lot of things you don't really think about. I'm kind of just like, I enjoy this. This is cool. I'm just going to do this. And then things happen. They pop up. Opportunities, things pop up.
Starting point is 00:22:52 And you're like, this is a thing. I remember getting invited to the UK and having to, like, grumble to get like an emergency pass for it because I've never left the country before. And just like how cool that experience was. And they asked me to like host a Sims live stream for the release of one of those games. I think it was like get famous or something. And I was like, you know, I'm really in another country right now.
Starting point is 00:23:17 I'm really okay. So I definitely say that's one of my top streaming bonus. Like I guess we're doing this. Who's next? Is it me? Yeah, how about you, Ali? I'm like thinking. It's not like, it's like one of my top ones only because they did it. So I had like a sub goal to do the one chip challenge.
Starting point is 00:23:52 And Maro went on the, yeah, and Mara went. She like got everybody ready for it and they were all in a voice chat. And she went on the norm that works. And just like, get bombed me. Yeah. And she just givombed me because I was like, because I was like a hundred plus away. I was like, oh, we're not going to get to it tonight. And she just comes in the desert.
Starting point is 00:24:16 And I asked. And like, they took pictures and everything. And I just thought it was like so it was hard for a week. No, like, I'm still being mean. They have like all the pictures. But I thought that was so cool because not only did they help me to like a goal that I've never reached before. But it was just like, see, like the Nord Network did that and knew it. Knowing they, like, all conspired against me was, like, really fun.
Starting point is 00:24:41 And, yeah, I love stuff like that because it's, like, more lighthearted. It's, like, the fun of streaming and having, like, people who support you. And they just, it's cool. So that's what I'm like. That chip, Tori. You don't want to see. That lip, though. I don't even know how you recover from the pain.
Starting point is 00:24:59 It was the lip. I was like, do it again. And I'm like, no way. I feel like he should. I feel like he should do it right now. I feel like he should do it, too. How about you, Cassie? I'm what we're doing for the stream.
Starting point is 00:25:12 Oh, not for beans. What's been your favorite moment, Cassie? I mean, obviously, aside for miss, this is obviously like everything in life. But, I mean, if you put this on the side, I think it was recent. My Spaces event was a big deal. Like, that was a proper, like, highlight
Starting point is 00:25:32 to be able to do something and actually see the impact of it and to also not like to have held my sanity sort of because there was times where I was just like, no, I can't do this. So I don't know, it made me really inspired. So yeah, that's definitely a highlight. Now I can go into retirement. I'm done now. Gosh. How about you? I'm sorry, I'm just going to say this. Not for me, but just like, just seeing everybody, like, together.
Starting point is 00:26:17 Like, whenever we were, like, streaming together as a group, as a, just a team, like, it's just so, like, it's so heartwarming. Like, especially, like, this right now, this is so hardwomen. Like, I'm cheesy. Literally, I haven't been on camp for, like, weeks. And I was like, oh, my gosh, I got to get ready. You know what I'm like, okay, this time. And so that's, like, it's really excited for me.
Starting point is 00:26:36 This is, like, a really great moment. it has to be like one of the best but I will say like just actually us being together on stream like the other Norbaves in films and it's just like I don't know it's just like good for me I love to stream and make people laugh but I love it when we get together as a group
Starting point is 00:26:56 and it's just like everybody's like doing their thing and you're seeing everybody when on the timeline you're like okay yeah I see you over there okay partner okay over there you did this was like it's something that they talked about for like years or months or whatever and then they finally reach and it's like it's just I don't know it's just like
Starting point is 00:27:13 y'all did that you know it's the win like you did it we did it together as a team as a group as an individual like it just did it like you know so that's just okay yeah I can tell because we had basically an entire podcast before we even went live just
Starting point is 00:27:28 chatting and having fun yeah I know we have a I know we have a lot of people in the chat right now some of them are aspiring content creators such as yourselves so um i'm curious what tips or advice would you give them if they want to do what you're doing mary will start with you um tips or advice you have to find some i guess some level of consistency um i know for me um i'm gonna try to try to try the line here because i don't want to recommend like neglecting sleep or anything like that but like
Starting point is 00:28:06 You're definitely going to have to find the time to create the content and find your level of consistency, but you have to figure out what consistency means to you because the consistency doesn't always have to mean stream 15 hours a day, seven days a week. Consistency could be you have a goal, you have a plan, and you stick to it. I'm going to post two YouTube videos a week for six months and see how it tracks and track my growth and track my progress, right? you want to do what you can and try not to burn yourself out. Try not to fixate on numbers so soon and just find your footing and then continue on. Find goals. Set reasonable goals and don't, I guess, and don't compare. I think a lot of creators play the comparing game.
Starting point is 00:28:59 Your journey is not their journey. To put it plainly, I always tell people, mind your damn business. Don't fixate on what this person is doing. and don't fix it on what that person is doing because it can knock you off your sales. So find your level of consistency and mind your damn business to put it plainly. I have some good advice there.
Starting point is 00:29:17 Great advice. There's actually a really nice saying. I heard a long time ago. I don't remember who said it, but I heard someone say comparisons are odious and it just stuck with me. It's the truth. It's like there's no point comparing yourself with anyone.
Starting point is 00:29:33 Just do your own thing and set your own goals. and only you can judge what's success or not right. So good advice, Mira. How about you, Allie? What tips for advice would you give with aspiring content creator? Oh, God. I'm like the worst one to give advice, right? No, kidding.
Starting point is 00:29:52 Okay, so I'm going to bounce off like the comparing thing. Like, so the gate, especially for, I would say the streaming or social media platforms and all those communities, they're sure. small but big. Just know that people are always watching. Choose to talk about things that actually matter to you and don't just follow everyone. I'll also say
Starting point is 00:30:16 how do I say this without being mean? So as Mary said, you don't want to be burnt out. In longevity, learn to adapt and also educate yourself while you're going. Learn from every experience even when you make mistakes. because that's how you're going to keep going and learning, and that's how you can help somebody else in the long run.
Starting point is 00:30:41 Because that's, like, how we kind of formulate. A lot of us made a mistake. A lot of the things that I'm telling people not to do right now is stuff that I've done. So, yeah, like, and just make sure you read. Y'all know that was going to be one of the things I say. Read everything. If something comes to you, read it closely.
Starting point is 00:31:01 Read between the lines. Ask somebody to read it. Get a lawyer who can read it. read. Reading is so fundamental, especially in business. You don't want to be tied up in something. You don't want to be,
Starting point is 00:31:17 what's the word, taking advantage of. So, yeah, like do your best to just make sure you're taking care of yourself, you, and make sure every deal or anything that comes your way,
Starting point is 00:31:27 it's, you know, for you and your benefit. There you go. I'm done. Great advice. Kathy, how about you? Definitely. have fun when it's not fun anymore like you should probably take a break it doesn't matter how long
Starting point is 00:31:40 the break is um because people pick up on it um and also you're just doing as just self with this service you can't get um no no no i don't i feel like you can't enjoy what you're doing and then it feels like a task to start streaming so i mean we do this we can have a podcast about this and like have fun um we can do panels but we also like still stream we still you know, ex up and do what you want to do. And I think whenever I felt like, oh, it's a job and it's no longer fun, I feel no way about being like, hey guys, you'll see me when you see me because I'm struggling and then I'll do that. And I think it takes a lot to sometimes stream and like you have to deal with like chat, which can which can either be really positive or really negative. And if you don't have like the mindset to be able to do that, that can knock you off. And so yeah, but I think after a few years, I just, I take note. I take a little note in my death note book, you like, just in case when you want to act up. I'm talking to chat.
Starting point is 00:32:47 No, I'm joking. I just think having fun of it. I'm having the most fun that I've had for a long time. Only in the past, like, month, I would say, because this year has been. And, yeah, I don't know. And then also that let me explore different things. I think we all explored different things because we were like, yeah, we're banning out. and we did sensible things and we didn't.
Starting point is 00:33:07 I think at first we felt guilty about it, but now we just like know my mental health is wealth baby. Yeah. Have fun. I like that. Oh, I wanted to add long term or short term girls. I know Mira said goals. For sure.
Starting point is 00:33:21 Yeah, have some short term goals that you know you could possibly hit and stuff. And don't put like growth on there. That's stupid. Because you grow as the, like you're going to grow regardless. If you put out any type of content, you're going to grow regardless. you're going to grow regardless. Like you should not be hyper-focusing on analytics and stuff like that. I know we say that.
Starting point is 00:33:40 Yeah. I'm like, I want to have X amount of such time and I want to have this. Yeah. So, I mean, you could speak it into existence and manifest it, but don't put it as like a goal. It's not something you can control.
Starting point is 00:33:53 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So I have something short term and then also have something long-term that you want to aspire to because that's what's going to keep you going and refreshed and stuff like the. Sorry. go tea yeah T what's your your advice
Starting point is 00:34:07 you could just start I feel like a lot of people just like don't start like they're like I want to do this I want to do that you know I want to start this podcast you know I want to do this I want to do that and it's like okay when you're gonna start though like because or you you try to make sure everything is perfect you try to make sure you have the perfect mic
Starting point is 00:34:25 the perfect camera the perfect computer the perfect everything and it's like by the time you start or not start it's a year and now you're like oh should I still start You know, I know I said I was going to start. It's just like just start. You know, I, for me, I wasn't even going to do any of this. I just like to watch from afar and help and everything like that.
Starting point is 00:34:44 But streaming and making content is actually, it's fun. There's a lot of work though. I'm not going to hold you because when I started, I was like, I was like, man, you don't get up there and stream. And then when I started, I was like, hello, uh, I got to post a tweet. I got to do this. I got to take a picture. I got to do this to get engagement.
Starting point is 00:34:58 If I want to, I got to make it like this. But it's like, start off with what you have first. and then just start and then you can go from there like if you got like an elgado uh whatever or if you have like an nzc whatever that you have maybe mirror or whoever can give you the PC like hey i got an o pc you want it sure like go you know talk to your friends and family i'm pretty sure they got like PCs and stuff or cameras just sitting there like you know ask them for their stuff you don't have to spend tens and thousands of dollars just to start like to start like you know mirror has this story about her computer whatever she's
Starting point is 00:35:33 had in the past a laptop and she was playing the Sam's and she was like you know what would you say it was flying away about to take off like yeah my PlayStation 3 or 4 like it's like a fighter jet
Starting point is 00:35:46 yeah like you know just just start and then just add as you go and like I feel like you know like I said that's what I did I mean you know it's actually true because you know I've always thought that a huge
Starting point is 00:36:00 part of success is always just showing up day out and just start like you said just start and don't give up be consistent and it's not going to happen overnight just keep doing it keep grinding and keep doing your thing and eventually the numbers will grow you'll grow you'll start getting bigger and better so awesome advice for everyone I hope people that are tuning are listening and taking notes and I guess uh I guess we can actually go to a little bit of community questions from chat To kind of go on with T's said. So I know you said you don't need the best equipment for it,
Starting point is 00:36:37 but from Hoto Alex, he actually asks, what equipment should you buy? Is there anything that, let's say, you're saving up for that you should prioritize during streaming? For me, I mean, you know, your PC or, I mean, some people, you may not even be streaming from the PC. You could be streaming from, like, a console, you know what I mean? Like, you could start from a console, your phone.
Starting point is 00:37:03 now you got TikTok and all these other places where you can actually start streaming. You don't have to do just the gaming part. You could just start streaming. It just depends on what you want to do for yourself. If you want to be an IRL streamer, like, you know, use your phone. If you want to, you know, you can stream from your laptop. I mean, but it's going to take a little bit.
Starting point is 00:37:23 It's going to take a bit. Maybe you don't need that camera. But start off with the plug-in camera. Like, what is a USB camera? Yeah. I would say, like, like, for the first thing, probably a mic. Like anything you can deal
Starting point is 00:37:37 with, but you know like that cod lobby bike, a mic that sounds like someone's like rubbing it against their like forehead and they're just like, oh my God, get off that. Yeah. No, I feel like a mic. I'm not. Audio quality is important.
Starting point is 00:37:56 It is. It is. I think people being able to hear you is the most important thing. Yeah. audio not even that important in the beginning. And you don't care about being on camera. Don't prioritize. Yeah. You need to be able to hear you and your content needs to just be able to be clear.
Starting point is 00:38:12 Make sure you're on Ethernet. I mean, you know, you can do a lot of stuff. But like, it doesn't have to be super expensive. You just go through the different like OBS or whatever. It has like the different things inside of the like the software where you can kind of like play with it and make yourself sound better, make yourself look better. You know, you can. make it work. Like, I don't need to be on cam to be to stream.
Starting point is 00:38:37 I know a lot of like the amount of times that people have streamed more because they put, like, they didn't have the cam on. I don't think it's necessary. I think there's, if you've got enough of a vibe, people still come and like check you and that's fine. But I, yeah. The interesting thing about that is we've done surveys of like, what is more important when you're watching a stream? Is it audio quality or video quality?
Starting point is 00:39:03 No, audio. Yeah, yeah, definitely. I was shocked. I was like, you would think if someone's watching a stream, it'd be video, but it's actually audio. I think there's been times I've just been doing like the robot because my camera's like not working by the audio. The audio's good. You could use the cut off your camera, but like, you know what? I'm sorry, yeah, no count of day, but you can still hear me. You can still hear me rage.
Starting point is 00:39:29 Honestly, I feel like sometimes I go a little bit harder. when I'm not on camp. You know what I'm kind of like, you know, I feel like I'm more comfortable. I still, I love to be on cam, but I do feel like, like, you know what I'm just on? I want to stream today. I'm going to turn on stream,
Starting point is 00:39:44 but I go a little harder, a little crazy, a little rageier, you know? Like, you know, but we ain't going to talk about that. I just like to add this point, I think depending on the age or the aging demographic of your audience as a content creator, if you somebody like me, whose audience is primarily made up of adults,
Starting point is 00:40:01 Most of them are not actively watching the stream. Most of them are probably just listening to you anyway because they're either working, tending to their own family, schoolwork, have a lot of college students. They're usually tend to schoolwork and things like that. So I say audio is super important because I feel like a lot of people are listening to the stream
Starting point is 00:40:19 more than they are maybe watching it, especially depending on the times of day you go live and like, where in the world your audience lives. So like you go live at like 9 a.m. these people are at work. They are listening to you in the background. They are not actively watching a stream. They're probably on the job right now.
Starting point is 00:40:38 So that's just also something to think about. Yeah. I think that also is a good thing for people that get put off because their chat is dead. Like it doesn't mean that no one's like there. A lot of the time, most of the people that I watch, I'm lurking.
Starting point is 00:40:54 I will watch them all day. Sometimes I go to sleep watching streamers and I'm not saying anything because I'm like either exhausted or I'm doing other things. So I hope like they take the value of like it doesn't just because people aren't as active in your chats doesn't mean that they're not listening.
Starting point is 00:41:09 So perhaps like just talking and still not being like waiting for people to come in before they talk. You never really know who's listening right? Yeah. Correct. And a lot of days talking to myself. And then if I'm if I'm watching and listening I'm just riding the wave of the rain.
Starting point is 00:41:28 Wide in the raid wave. I'd be like oh man now. Okay. Sleep. Oh, I'm here. Oh, cool. I'm asleep. I got another question here from Moonlit on the Bay. They ask, how have your family and friends reacted to the fact that you are gaming content creators? I asked this because the industry is mostly male and white. Oh, I was ready to go. No, I was ready to go.
Starting point is 00:41:56 I was ready to go. Go ahead. I definitely want to say when it comes to different groups of like marginalized people, I feel like if you don't take on conventional careers, like I don't want to be a doctor. I don't want to be a flight attendant. I don't want to, you know, I'm not a lawyer. I'm not, you know, certain jobs. I feel like depending on people's families, they may be treated a certain way because they took on an unconventional job,
Starting point is 00:42:20 an unconventional line of work. What the hell do you mean you make your making money playing video games? Like what? So I feel like that's a common thing. across like different marginalized groups, families. And I know some of y'all in chat could probably relate. Some of y'all in here probably could relate. But for me personally, I think that my parents had a natural apprehension at first.
Starting point is 00:42:40 Like he was like, what do you mean? You're on the system playing video games. So you're talking to them Sims over there, child. And it was like a natural, you know, I'd be like, I got 100 followers today. And he'd be like, well, how much money did you make, child? And it was a bit of apprehension at first. But then I guess they kind of saw that like I was. that ass serious about it and I wasn't going to like give it up.
Starting point is 00:43:02 So they kind of just started to like, he warmed up a bit. My pops, he started like buying me equipment and stuff. Like he'll be like, I remember one day he put the card. He said, get the monitor you need. Get the. And he got me like a,
Starting point is 00:43:14 a mic from Best Buy and he would help me buy like the equipment that I needed to like enhance my setup. And like now my mom in her spirit time, I found out she likes to Google me and like print articles of and like, like, she's like showing friends. And she's like,
Starting point is 00:43:33 my baby's in the museum. She did this. She was on TV. She's got every article, every news thing, every anything involving me. She Googles it. She finds it before me.
Starting point is 00:43:42 She's like, did you see that TV interview? Did you see that? I'm like, how are you finding me? What are you just going? Like my parents are like super hype and they're really proud of me, which I think is like really cool because it went from like a,
Starting point is 00:43:54 how much money? Does that make money? What the hell you mean? You playing video games to like? to like a, oh my God, this is really a thing. You're doing great things. We're proud of you. Keep going kind of thing.
Starting point is 00:44:05 Amazing. Oh, I have the similar thing like Mira, because my parents are Jamaican. I'm a preface it by that. They're born and raised there. So if you don't know about like, especially like immigrant parents, like, my whole family is like engineers and stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:44:21 So it's like I was just playing video games and they heard me talking to people. And they're like, who are you talking to? Are you talking to the fake people? don't think. Oh, my God. About the MPC. Yeah. I'm talking to like the abyss.
Starting point is 00:44:34 And then I realized, like for me, I realized I had to like actually talk to them and communicate with them what I was doing because at the time I was living with them and I was like, okay, I really need to tell them what's going on and stuff like that because like it was at one point where like I think Verizon called my dad and was like, what's going on at your house? You got like a high bandwidth out of like the whole radius. something like that. And I was like, what?
Starting point is 00:45:00 They really said that. And they're like, yeah, they know you're streaming. I'm like, oh, okay. But yeah, I basically sat them down and told them what I was doing. And I was like, I'm streaming. I'm coming home from work. I'm doing this. This is what it is.
Starting point is 00:45:10 I showed them Twitch and showed them like YouTube and all the other stuff. And they're like very interested in it, especially like when I talk about like DEI stuff like diversity and like how I'm treated and how other people are treated. Like my mom loves the tea on that stuff. she'd be like And what did they do about it? And what did he say? He said, what now?
Starting point is 00:45:31 And he's still going live. You know, did Twitch ban him? That's her favorite thing. Did he get banned? Did he get banned? How did he get banned? So, yeah, like I had to, and my mom has bought me equipment and stuff like that, too. She's, like, one of my biggest and first supporters, and I'm very appreciative of it.
Starting point is 00:45:50 But, yeah, like, now she calls me. She's like, are you working? And it sounds so weird coming from her. because you were like, are you working? Oh, did you talk to that, dot, dot, dot today? I'm like, okay, yeah, you get it. And then they tell my other extended family, they'll be like, oh, yeah, she plays video games on the internet,
Starting point is 00:46:08 and they're very careful with how they say, because they used to say, oh, yeah, she does cam stuff on the internet. I'm like, you can't say it like that. Oh, yeah, you can't say that like that. Yeah. Oh, my God. Oh, no. I could go.
Starting point is 00:46:21 And they're like, no, no, no, she plays video games. And they're like, what do you do? How do you get a? Oh, no. I can go in a totally different direction. My word. I'm not sure for how you're word of that. How about you, Cassie?
Starting point is 00:46:37 How was your family? So I feel like they didn't take me seriously at all. When I was streaming, when I first started streaming, I was streaming at home, and I'd like work and then come back. And I knew I had to move out when my mom came onto stream in her dressing gown with like almost one T-E about to escape and I was like, Mom, I'm shooting, she's like, okay,
Starting point is 00:47:01 they can't see me. I'm like, yes, they can see you. And just like, okay, tell your friends to pause. And I'm like, I can't pause the game. And then I was like, no, I gotta go. My mom's like, pause the game. You can't pause the game. Right. So I think
Starting point is 00:47:17 she didn't really understand like what it is. And then she also not like I've been trying to express it. But recently, like, she's seen stuff so I was in a newspaper. I was in The Guardian and my niece saw my spaces event. And then my cousin who has no idea about gaming, like was sobbing at the event. I was like, this is really good.
Starting point is 00:47:41 I didn't realize that you did this. I was like, yeah, she was like, yeah, no, but I thought you were just like playing online. Like, I don't even know what that means, but okay. And then obviously being able to do things like get myself out of like credit card debt, you know how it is and just being able to see things like I just all the opportunities when she sees the pictures
Starting point is 00:48:01 I like she saw me presenting at an award show and seeing the actual stuff like I've been able to do she's so proud like she sends it out to everyone and I don't know she's very quiet her concerns always been like
Starting point is 00:48:17 oh how are you going to like afford to live if you keep on like playing with pixels I'm like, don't worry about me, sweetheart, I'm all right. I'm okay. So, yeah, I think, like, she's just really supportive now, but I don't want her to buy me anything. I'm glad that you guys are, like, they know what to buy, but my mom shops on KVC,
Starting point is 00:48:35 so I 100% feel, like, she's going to get me, like, some dodgy, like, when she told me she was going to buy me a PC from there, I was like, ah, ah, ah, no, not at all. Don't do it. Oh, no. That's a thought that counts. No. What kind of the creepy see?
Starting point is 00:48:54 Come on. Let's the other time. No, no, no. I had to delete her. That was your house for me. Uh-huh. Um, um,
Starting point is 00:49:04 what you got? My, okay, so my mom, you know, recently she's understanding it better. I do feel like that it was mostly not targeted towards me,
Starting point is 00:49:20 but towards the hubby. Um, just more of so, like, um, um, um, you know he's been doing it for a while right and so like people are like oh so what are y'all going to do
Starting point is 00:49:33 about um retirement what are y'all going to do about this what do you got to do about this and it's like okay like hold on because now it's like you're you're getting too deep into our business so i feel like family wise i don't think they thought it was like a business it was just like a hobby you know know what I'm saying like the past time and stuff like that um like I said for my journey it's like you know because I'm a nurse and everything I think I helped him out more on his side just getting him started with the PC and doing all of this thing and then we came as a team as a group and um you know started educating each other on all of this stuff and I feel like after that after them seeing us do things and being able to make sure that we were able to pay for everything that we need to pay for
Starting point is 00:50:16 just you know what we were doing I feel like they were like okay I think they got something here. You know how you kind of get those people that be like, you know what? I don't believe in you just yet. You got to prove it to me type of thing. It's like that. So for me, you know,
Starting point is 00:50:32 it's like they need to see results before. And I do feel like, you know, now is more like, are you sure that's the job you want to do? Are you sure? You know what I mean? So for now, it's like, oh yeah, y'all got it. You know, you know, you're doing this. You know, you know?
Starting point is 00:50:46 Remember that time I told you we was going to do this? Okay. Yeah. So for me, it's just, it's just weird. It's kind of weird. But, you know, I forgive. You know, I'm a forgiver a lot. And we started a long time ago.
Starting point is 00:51:01 Like a long time. Like 10 years? Yeah. I'm like 12 years ago. Like, what, eight or seven? I'm going on nine. Yeah. I'm going on nine.
Starting point is 00:51:10 For myself, for myself, it's just four years. But for that, 12 years. For him, it's the longer. So back then, it was still kind of. of like, especially for gaming. It was still, yeah, it was still kind of like, what are you doing? Like, what?
Starting point is 00:51:25 Right. So it's like now there's, yeah, and now there's like, we're featured on the news. We're featured on so many things, you know, like, yeah. And then I have like my family member, but she was like, she was like, wait, so you're doing this and then getting this. And I was like, yeah, why are you done trying to talk about?
Starting point is 00:51:47 I told y'all to get on to you doing all this comes and crazy. Oh, yeah, I didn't want to listen to me, but now it's like, you know, I get it. You know, so, like, people didn't really understand what the content creation was. I feel like a lot of companies didn't understand it either until like they was kind of seeing it. Something new. Like, hold on, maybe we can get streamers and content creators to promote ourselves. We've been doing it the same way for years. It's time to do something different.
Starting point is 00:52:09 And apparently this is working. So, like, let's try it. And so I do feel like a lot of like people, you know, and it was doubting. So it's like, you know, I get it. It's okay. You know, I'm not, I'm not blaming. on but you know. I forget, but I'll forget, honey.
Starting point is 00:52:25 It definitely reminds me of the energy going from. How much money did you make to can I borrow X amount of money? Yes. Oh, my God. Yes. And then you find out, don't tell them how much you make. Oh, no. No.
Starting point is 00:52:39 No. No, no, no. No. Just be like, I'm good. Because you're okay. Y'all about to get me beat up. No, don't tell them. All my mom wants is just because she likes Little Big Planet and the fact boy.
Starting point is 00:52:54 That's all she's like, let me just play those games. Oh yeah, can you get me a PS6? I'm like, relax. My brother asked for something every day. My brother's asked for something every day. They were like, oh, you got a new PC. Can I get one? I'm like, but my work.
Starting point is 00:53:09 You. Yo, I would compete with my sister's calling. Like, can you give Shamar this PC? I don't say, I have to say, I have to say, I have a moment this year where I actually had like so many headsets and things like that. I had so much stuff that was given to me that I didn't need that I was able to give away some. So I was like, wait, why do I have so many heads? I literally had like five headsets that one was just sitting in the box.
Starting point is 00:53:36 So I, there are times where I can give stuff, but child, I'm expecting it. I worked with Best Buy. Y'all know this. Like up to like Sunday, somebody was messaging me like, can you get me a Best Buy coupon? And I'm like, I don't work with them in that way. You don't even get work. That's why I keep on. I've been asking, too.
Starting point is 00:53:54 Like, can I get a same? I don't work with them that way. Like, it was a marketing campaign. I'm not going to lie, though. Whenever I was like, when we was talking about like the PCs and stuff, and like, you know, NZACC saying they're going to give us pieces, I was like, wait, you know, my stuff is kind of old. And then when it came, I was like, wait, am I really getting a PC?
Starting point is 00:54:12 The person came and knocked on the door, I was like, I got a PC, baby. Really happened. I said, I said, I didn't play me and I got that joy in like two days. You know what I'm saying? I feel like I inhaled
Starting point is 00:54:26 and exhaled in the computer was outside. I think everyone got it pretty quick except for Cassie. Cassie. Cassie. Oh. Over the pond.
Starting point is 00:54:36 It was like a mission. They three that insulation. Oh, did it? Oh, my God. They was like, you get a piece. I took a picture with it. I mean, you know,
Starting point is 00:54:47 I asked for it to be candy corn. call it but you know how they did it ain't turn out the way I want we're gonna get on that okay I'm gonna break I've been down okay for a sleeve or some form a sticker or something yeah we don't get together though we don't remember when he said anybody he candy corn of the tea you see he was thinking about it though was he not thinking about it You can make, no, okay. No one likes it, though. Don't do it.
Starting point is 00:55:18 Okay, next time. Yeah. I guess we'll go ahead and end off on the chat questions real quick, but Humdinger 83, this is actually an interesting question. If your streaming career ended now, do you guys feel like you have made a difference? For sure. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:39 I don't even know if that's arrogant to say that, but like I can speak for these lots. like they've made such a big difference to like me. So even if like I feel like I've done stuff but for these guys like it's really hard when we're not like going to go into the thing. But I think like mental health wise and feeling like you can do stuff and feeling empowered to do things and having the space for people to like cheer you on like when there's loud voices saying you can't do something or you're not like worth it to have like do people that will back you like instant family is like everything that I wanted.
Starting point is 00:56:19 So they are 100% made a difference for me. So there must be like if they made a difference to me there's no way that they didn't do like make a difference to other people. But that sounds too positive. So I feel like I should do something toxic. Um, yeah, I've been campaigning to get all of their accounts banned and I think that's a difference that I make into their lives. Thank you. Oh gosh. That's really good.
Starting point is 00:56:42 Okay. Merry Christmas to you too. I mean, I know Mary did. She's in a museum. I still going to go see the exhibit. I mean, just off the stop. I want to go see it. I know Mary's made an impact on my life.
Starting point is 00:56:57 I've said that to it. And Cassie and Teave, all made. I mean, I'm literally, Mary's the one I knew the longest. And she's one of, like, the biggest inspirations of just, like, being in a space and being loud and proud. and I was also like loud and proud. Like I would DM each other and stuff
Starting point is 00:57:16 and just like see each other at cons and stuff in passing. And then when we finally sat down and talked, we're like, oh, dang, we think the same way. Why did you make an accident? I was like, we think the same way. Like business wise, like we're on it, like type of a thing. And just watching her move within like the medium of just like gaming and even outside of it because she's worked with like other brands
Starting point is 00:57:41 and stuff too and just not being like held to a box or a certain standard and talking the way she do and all of that stuff like that stuff is just such a huge inspiration to me and I tell her all the time I'm sorry I'm getting moist but I tell her all the time like you literally don't know like and even like personally like I was going through something and she came and visited me like literally we were on the phone I called her and like I think I went and did something I come back like five hours later. She's like, yeah, I'm on the plane. I'm coming down to see you. And that's like, that's like my real ass friend. And then when she came, I was going through something. She just looked me straight in my face. She was like, you're going to be fine. You're going to be
Starting point is 00:58:20 fine. And that meant so much. I think I like bawled my eyes out just based off her just saying that. And like, I know for a fact, marriage. Same thing for T. T calls me to 2.A.m. Like, honestly, they call me. I'm sorry. I'm going to like cry a little. But they call me. and ask me have a sometimes I just need to hear encouraging work because I'm literally
Starting point is 00:58:46 I'll internalize a lot of stuff and things like that and this is like the first time especially within this space where you feel like you're not seeing heard and things like that sometimes I have to go into meetings and be like okay
Starting point is 00:58:57 you guys you're not crazy this happened to you it's okay let's talk about it let's discuss it let's figure out a way to maneuver it that's just in the greater nor more spectrum but for these three
Starting point is 00:59:08 they do that too me individually because a lot of times I'm probably just like outputting it. So yeah, sorry. At a moment. Okay. All right. Now that we are done with the community questions, it's time actually for our first giveaway of the stream.
Starting point is 00:59:29 Are you ready? Yes, who's going to be? All right. So I am going to go ahead and make a keyword. And please, please do not type. too many times because it will make you ineligible for the winner. So the code word for the,
Starting point is 00:59:47 we are giving away five hoodies. So I'll pull five winners is hail the chip. Hale the chip. That is for Allie. If you type hail the chip, no spaces. Go ahead. And then we will get,
Starting point is 01:00:01 we'll roll about five winners for these hoodies. I'll grab user names and grab you. For five hoodies right now. Hale the chip. And make sure. Don't type it too many times because if you do, it will mark you as ineligible if you spam it too many times. So please give an eye out for it. So hail the chip, no spaces for five hoodies.
Starting point is 01:00:22 Oh, yeah, I'm going to personalize each. I'm begging for another one because my makeup messed up. It's like what they gave us a fluffy white one. I don't know why, but there's like a brown stain right. I don't know if I did mine. I did mine without. I put it on without putting on my makeup. I put my hoodie on first and then put my makeup on.
Starting point is 01:00:45 And it was fine. Like, you know, but you know what I got makeup on in my PC? I was like hugging in this shit. And it's got like a little makeup thing. It's okay, though. It's just, you know, I love it. I think two, so two questions. One, is it worldwide for anyone to get the hoodies?
Starting point is 01:01:04 Yes, it is global. It's global. And the other one was, if you win a hoodie, does that take you out of the running to, in a PC. Nope. It does not. Nope.
Starting point is 01:01:13 These are completely separate. You see in your hoodie. Okay. A circle of life. Yeah. You need ignore treatment because we got a hoodies and a PC. No. A giveaway is only rigged if you don't went.
Starting point is 01:01:27 Right. True. True. True. It's so interesting to me. Like, there's so many people that think that giveaways are rigged and fake and whatnot. And I'm just like, dude, if you only saw, like, we just literally hit a bud and, like, everything is random it's like
Starting point is 01:01:42 people think we're like you know picking who you do you mean on the NXT thing or just in general in general like every general people just think like it's like we're just you know baking it I guess for some reason but no I promise you all our
Starting point is 01:01:58 real ways are legit they as is the PC global you can get the PC as well everything's everything everything is global if you live across the pond like Kathy it might take a while It might be a hassle, but you will.
Starting point is 01:02:12 It might get dropped in the ocean. That was like the funniest message I've ever seen for Cassidy. I think my PC got dropped in the ocean bag. You were like, what? I found the video. There's a video of all like all of these deliveries getting dropped in the ocean and someone saying like, yeah, that's mine probably. If I win, can I get the hoodie signs on the back by all the Noir-Gals squad?
Starting point is 01:02:36 You know what? No. I love it. we're going to ship. Oh, we get like the traveling sister pants where they like send it to you and then he signed it and send it to me and they're not wearing an incentive.
Starting point is 01:02:47 No? And it just comes back with like makeup stays and then you'll get it. But, you know, it may take me a while to ship it. All righty. Last call. Last call.
Starting point is 01:02:59 Before we roll for the hoodies, we're rolling five winners for hoodies. I will get your guys' usernames and I'll DM you guys later for the information. So first winner. We got, Omega 625.
Starting point is 01:03:12 I'm writing down your guys' username right now. We got Navy XC-99. Okay, 99. Let's see. Zarsse? I have no idea. Sorry if I butchered your name.
Starting point is 01:03:30 Yes, you can. Han Honey. Damn. And then Bradopia. You guys are the winners for five. These are winners. I think it may have
Starting point is 01:03:43 went through really quickly. These are the winners. I'll go ahead and DM you guys later for that. Please stay tuned because we are giving congrats to everyone. We are giving away a lot of other, a lot of stuff as well. We got some t-shirts and lanyards stickers. We also have some game
Starting point is 01:03:59 code, so please stick around for each segment. Do they need to have their whispers open? Are you going to DM that way? I'll DM you guys separately. I can do that separately, is it? Because I grabbed all your messages. Okay, because you know some people Whispers may not be open. Yeah. Yep.
Starting point is 01:04:14 Gotcha. Please. Yes. Open your whispers, please, to make sure so I can actually DM you guys. All right. Oh, yeah. We're giving way everything. We've got PCs, hoodies, t-shirts.
Starting point is 01:04:25 We got everything right now. Game codes. Game codes. Yeah. All right. Now we're going to go into my little segment right now. Okay, this is what I want to see. All right.
Starting point is 01:04:36 So for those that do not know, I'm going to be making some Coquito. If you guys don't know, it is a Puerto Rican kind of, it's kind of like the Puerto Rican eggnog, but honestly, eggnog kind of sucks. So it's better. It is coconut. Coconut, no. Okay, we're going to let you have it. Yeah, it's, it's good. I have both eggnog and coquito in my fridge right now, and I will say right here, coquito is better. So let me go ahead. Oh, and get everything. I'm going to do like a little cooking stream. been a complimenting Mike's hat and the fifth. Yeah. Yeah. He was giving us like
Starting point is 01:05:13 corporate Christmas. Yeah. Mike is actually like Christmas. He's like a semi-pro mixologist. He has like a whole bar card. Yeah. Oh, wait.
Starting point is 01:05:22 Wait, wait. Oh, wait. Oh, I was ready for that. He was trying to get us. I was trying to get a whole bar cart. Oh, yeah. I had a bar cart. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:05:34 Yeah. Yeah. I actually had to. I actually had to move, I actually had to move all my original, like, liquors and stuff off this because it's a, it's a double-decker, so, and this is usually filled with everything. Oh, yeah, let us know, okay. All right, he invited us to the cookout. Yeah, bring that. Bring that. I'm not expecting that. I'm going to be right back because, okay. Life. Okay, go ahead. All right, all right, so.
Starting point is 01:06:06 Oh, oops. Cassie, your camera. Cassie, just wasn't. Cassie? Did I do that? Yes, it made. You broke everything. Oh, no.
Starting point is 01:06:17 There you go. Thank you. Camera off. I guess you shifted up. Yeah, sorry. I have everything on Discord. All right. Nice.
Starting point is 01:06:24 All right. All right. So, if you guys want to know the recipe. If you might have to slot out the chair. Light out. Go from under. Tell you to put some drawers on. This is why it's very important.
Starting point is 01:06:38 I'm lucky that. I'm not playing with you. Sorry about that. Oh, man. All right. All right. So if you guys want to know the recipe, I have the link. If you do exclamation point, Coquito.
Starting point is 01:06:57 Sorry, Cassie. It's for the recipe. But for this, it's a really easy recipe to make. It's probably one of the easiest things to make. Obviously, you need a blender. to put everything in. You'll need some evaporated milk or condensed milk. Some cream of coconut.
Starting point is 01:07:14 And these are all very cheap. I think everything was around like $15. And you make like a whole thing of it. So it's really cheap. Okay. Obviously you guys should have some cinnamon in your thing and hopefully some nutmeg. I bought some cinnamon sticks as well.
Starting point is 01:07:31 This is optional, but this helps add a little bit more of the cinnamon flavor. pure vanilla extract and then that's pretty much it and for those that want to make it a little bit more fun we also have white rum some Bacardi I have some Bacardi white rum
Starting point is 01:07:48 make sure you use white rum not spice rum you can make it without Bacardi without rum and as I am making this alcoholic please drink responsibly Okay so it's actually honestly, the easiest thing to do,
Starting point is 01:08:06 you basically are combining everything except the cinnamon sticks till the end, so I'm actually going to hold this out to the end. So, you're going to do the evaporated milk hole. You might have to move the mic. Oh, yes. There you go.
Starting point is 01:08:19 Can it swing the other? Yeah. Yeah, here we go. I'll make it a little easier for you. Before I blend, I'll make sure to mute as well. So basically you're going to combine everything. Oh, let me actually grab a can open up for it. That's easy guy. That's sweet.
Starting point is 01:08:36 Good chance. Best creamer ever. Why don't like the camera? So basically, all you're going to do is you're going to blend everything together. A lot of it is pretty much easy. The only hard part right now is the cream of coconut because this is 15 ounces and you'll need, I think, six or nine ounces. But you have to actually kind of measure it out, which is a little annoying. But everything else is basically it.
Starting point is 01:09:00 So here it is, it says in the recipe 14 ounces of sweetened condensed milk, this is 14 ounces right here. is right here. Oh my God, the whole thing? Yep, the whole thing. So it actually makes it even easy for it. Oh, okay. Oh, sweet, sweet. Okay.
Starting point is 01:09:13 Okay, North game night. I don't know. I'll have another drink. Yeah, y'all are definitely going to have to do drunk by daylight with that. I need more drama between you and Cassie. She was like, I'm making a deal.
Starting point is 01:09:27 He was so mad at me. I brought out the evil tea voice. Am I the only one anticipating the rum pour? Because... No worry, I haven't. No, are you going to do... If you're going to do the lady in a commercial thing, or is it going to be like a dollop?
Starting point is 01:09:50 No worry. I will be measuring this. As I said, you have to... You are going to. Like, I... I mean, honestly, if you really want to, you're more to welcome to just pour as much as you want. But one cup, you will actually taste the actual rum.
Starting point is 01:10:05 it so okay 21 years or older yes 21 years old drink responsibly but by the time you hit one cup you can kind of already taste the rum but my friend actually this recipe is from my Puerto Rican friend which
Starting point is 01:10:19 is just like a legit recipe they tend to add a little bit more rum so they basically what they'll do is they'll have the rum available they'll pour the cup in it'll have an extra bottle of rum that you can add in as part of your drink,
Starting point is 01:10:37 like a seasoning. You can't do that, but again, please your responsibly. I did not do that because those guys could out drink me under under the table.
Starting point is 01:10:46 Yeah. Right. They're like torn remnant and then turn a corona into it like, what are y'all doing? That's a lot. It is a lot.
Starting point is 01:10:55 What's so catty? You got the blender on there, right? So where's it plugged up? I'm a plug right behind. Oh, okay. I was like, okay, does it come? like a chargeable caddy where you like charge it up first and then plug it. Okay, I'm just trying to
Starting point is 01:11:09 make sure. I need to figure it out because the last time I was up trying to cook off stream, I kept blowing my, um, electric out. Really? Yeah, girl. I kept blowing the fuse out on one side of the house. I was put on the hot plates and everything in the back of the house would just turn off. I was like, well, we're not doing that. What kind of wonder is that? This is the evaporated. This is the evaporated. This is the evaporated milk. Okay. Okay. So right now we put both of the milk. No, my sugar. Oh, he's not my calories. Hold on now.
Starting point is 01:11:39 You can't ask you. Oh, yeah. This is a holiday drink. You're not going to really pay attention to too much to the calories of it. If you want to look at it, it is not good for your health. But it's good for the soul. So, you know, that's okay. That's how he invited.
Starting point is 01:11:58 This thing has more sugar than the Panera drink. Stop. Stop. He does have a lot of condensments. Yeah, this is a very sweet drink. So if you do not like super, super sweet stuff, you guys will not like it. But if you guys really like sweet stuff and you guys like coconut and like cinnamon, you guys will absolutely love this. Okay.
Starting point is 01:12:21 So I'm guessing because, you know, the condensed milk is not lactose intolerance safe. Yes. You can do non-dairy. It is also feasible actually to do non-dairy. But you do not need to. I luckily, thank God, don't have any lactose and tolerance, but if you guys do, please. Oh, thank God. Yes.
Starting point is 01:12:45 Got it. I think I got you. Watch me drink. No, Mira. Just be sad later. I had Kakito last last year, but I want the store brought one. I don't know. Somebody sells it.
Starting point is 01:13:03 I am now putting into cream of coconut in I measured out nine ounces because this is 15 ounces I just measured out nine you can add more if you like it more coconuty it's basically
Starting point is 01:13:15 that one's kind of up to you and now that's pretty much the hardest part is measuring it out now you just kind of add in your other stuff
Starting point is 01:13:23 which is the cinnamon the nutmeg and then the vanilla extract yes okay I think that's a good measure measure
Starting point is 01:13:34 You know You know You know Someone said that they got a frosty version of that And I was like Mm Ooh A frosty cochito?
Starting point is 01:13:42 Yeah Ooh Oh that sounds good I missed it Was it at Dairy I might have made that up Wendy
Starting point is 01:13:50 Wendy's They said Wendy's They said Wendy's in They said Wendy's in Puerto Rico So it's Coquito Whoa Oh
Starting point is 01:13:58 Is it good? That's not good There you go. Let me go ahead and take a trip. A teaspoon of that. One teaspoon of ground cinnamon. One teaspoon of vanilla extra. Okay.
Starting point is 01:14:14 Okay, vanilla extra. I think that Mike is, is that the capsule, Mike? Is that the NXT? Yes, it is. It is the white capsule. You know. They have a, like a streamer kit. Yeah, they do.
Starting point is 01:14:28 I think that comes in it as well. Hold on Let me have in a hand And the This is a giveaway For this week I know I saw But you know
Starting point is 01:14:38 It's looking kind of good Now I don't know We might have to revisit this Mike thing Mm-hmm Mike for a mic This is the nutmeg
Starting point is 01:14:48 And the nutmeg and all that This is the nutmeg Doing a quarter teaspoon of that Okay And then now the fun part And now the fun part I love
Starting point is 01:14:58 Mm-hmm One cup Liquor This is going to see the more ingredients I hear like, what? That is a big bottle. That is a big bottle. Oh, yeah, this is the biggest bottle I can. You want to do one cup?
Starting point is 01:15:12 You know, sometimes. Oh, my God. This is one cup. I'm making sure to measure correctly. I'm not that much an alcoholic. No, no. You know, you're just going, yes. Yes.
Starting point is 01:15:39 Bad after my old hurt Alright I can't drink great down So I'm just like Micrously living through him right now Okay All right And then now to finish it off
Starting point is 01:15:51 I'm so good I'm so mad I can't drink back And now to finish it off I'm going to go ahead And bled it on high For around 10 to 20 seconds And I will go ahead and mute it on the NCXT mic
Starting point is 01:16:00 You can actually click this button And in me Oh Show me shit Okay Yo, hold on that Because you know My mic is a professional
Starting point is 01:16:11 On it Mm-hmm. Strangler. My mic with a little fuzzies. It's got a little, you know, I'm trying to. But you know, I might need. It'll match my PC. We'll see how this comes out.
Starting point is 01:16:23 Hmm. I actually, I kind of wanted to hear the blender, to be honest. I did too. I didn't know. I couldn't have to blow everyone's ear drums out. That's why I didn't. It's okay. It's okay.
Starting point is 01:16:32 Let's hear it. Do you want to hear it? Okay, I can blend it a little more because I'll be blended for about 10 seconds. All right. All right. Sorry if I'd blow everyone's ear drums out, so. Oh. We don't hear anything.
Starting point is 01:16:51 That we're good then. didn't it. Oh, noise I didn't hear any. Guess the capsule. The capsule's able to do it correctly. Shut up. No.
Starting point is 01:16:59 Wow, I did not hear anything. That's what's up. And that is basically... Okay. See, wait a minute. Because you know, that might work out. That's a perfect commercial for the mic. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:17:11 Does it block a baby voice? It's the question. And this is it. Oh, also to add, if you guys want to add it more to me, this is optional, recommend it, you add in some cinnamon sticks. I usually do two. I usually do you trace, it's like the biggest ones. You literally just drop it into it. Let's grab the second one. You really just drop them in, literally just drop them in there.
Starting point is 01:17:36 It looks really good. Then what you're supposed to do is you're supposed to let this, um, refrigerate for two to three hours to actually make it chilled. But I actually prepared one beforehand. I prepared a bottle beforehand, so I have this. It's all chill, delicious. Cheers. Cheers. Cheers. Cheers, I'm into my water.
Starting point is 01:18:00 I'm sorry to my water, right? Yeah. Cheers, Cheers. Cheers. Cheers. And that is how you make Coquito. Super easy.
Starting point is 01:18:12 Nice. It is delicious. It is delicious. It is not healthy, but it is something delicious. delicious, amazing, and you can get very, very drunk on this. And like I said, please drink responsibly. That is it.
Starting point is 01:18:27 Yay, good job. Yay, that's so great. Oh, yeah, he's the streamer, streamer, like, he's prepared. How you do the presentation and he closed it in the camera. And he already had a made on the list of me. I was like, okay.
Starting point is 01:18:43 You know, I'm not going to lie to y'all. I'm very impressed. Right. I'm very impressed with the mic. Like, he turned to know, I didn't hear anything. We didn't hear it. I'm trying to figure it. Because, you know, I have issues with, like, the with the air conditioning in my, you know how it comes in? It could also be Discord and the
Starting point is 01:19:00 mic because, you know, discord noise cancels. So if the mic noise cancels, it's like double stack. Well, I like that. But I mean, all right. All right, Mike, and with that, I think we're going to do another giveaway now, right? That is, now we are going to go ahead and go to our next giveaway, which is for the game code. Oh, yeah. How many game codes do we have? Too much.
Starting point is 01:19:23 We have a lot. Gotta count them. Let me see. Let me see. I think I gave. Five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven. Okay, hold on. Let me, uh...
Starting point is 01:19:34 I think I gave like 11 or five. I don't remember, honestly. Cassie got some tea, right? Okay. Game code for condensed milk. Funny. I'm trying to figure out how many game codes we got. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen.
Starting point is 01:20:13 Sorry, we probably should have counted this before we announced the... I think we got fifteen, Mike. Fifteen? Oh, all right, let's grab fifteen users. And for the games, so we got Mid-night Sun, Scarlet nexus, Taiko, no, Tatschujan, I don't know how to pronounce that correctly.
Starting point is 01:20:44 Sachi, oh, no, sorry, Klonoa Fantasy. Yeah. And also there's more. Yes. And then there's more.
Starting point is 01:20:56 And then there's more. Dragon ball breakers. That's it. Yeah, dragon ball on. So I guess we have a, we can just draw the winners and let them pick their favorite game, I guess. I think that all PC, aren't they?
Starting point is 01:21:12 No, one is for the Switch. Oh, which one's for the Switch? Which one is for the Switch? Rhythm Festival. Yeah. Okay. I'm going to give this one away, Mike. We'll go ahead and do the keyword again.
Starting point is 01:21:30 I think everyone is kind of already typing it, so we'll do the keyword of Coquito. Go ahead and type Coquito. Quito into the chat. How many winners are we pulling? 15. 15 winners. Gotcha. 15 winners for game codes, please. Go ahead. Coquito.
Starting point is 01:21:50 By the way, this- On you, my keto. Hey. My-kito. I like it. I like it. Burrito. Someone said burrito.
Starting point is 01:22:03 They shouldn't spam it, right? Try not to spam it. You guys can type about two to three times, but then once you hit like the third time it will disqualify you from the uh giveaway so please do not spam too much oh i need information about that one because people love to spam them and get yeah oh yeah oh yeah you you throw in those things so it doesn't you don't have like six people one person typing it six times oh helps a lot so says hi mom for cassie doc macduffron oh oh god
Starting point is 01:22:41 It is case insensitive. So it actually does not matter if you do a capital C, capital whatever, does not matter. Oh, nice. Okay, so we're rolling 15 winners. Let me go ahead. Last call, last call. And then we'll go ahead and pull 15 winners. I've got the message so many of you guys.
Starting point is 01:22:58 Last call for the Coquito. Last call for Coquito. That is probably the best name for a drink ever. Yeah. Coquito. Sounds so cute and innocent. And then you realize that it's not. It is very.
Starting point is 01:23:15 It is very. Not the way Mike made it. Hey, I just did it. When the cup of rum came out. Hey, they told me that this is from a, like an actual Puerto Rican. She told me, this is how you make it. This is how much you add. And I followed it to the recipe.
Starting point is 01:23:30 So if you have to blame someone, blame them. Bonnie. I thought because we were on stream, he was going to like salt bait or something. But he was like, sure. I was. I was really debating like, oh, maybe I can eye it, but I have never done a, I do mixology for fun. Like, I do bartending for fun. I don't know a cup.
Starting point is 01:23:51 Like, I can do, you know, two ounces, half ounce, one point five ounces, because that's how much a drink usually is. I have not done a cup before. So I was not willing to eye that. Oh, wow. I was ready to, though. I was ready. All right. Let's roll some winners.
Starting point is 01:24:11 Okay. All right. We got. Okay. I'm gonna, I'm gonna avoid the, uh, names because I'm gonna pull, I'm just gonna pull them all. And then I'll give the list at the end. Okay, dokey. Like to drying all the names.
Starting point is 01:24:28 Yep, drawing the names right now. We're on number four. Oh, and told you in chat. Five. Oh, I like, I like this name though. Oh, daddy. I like it. I like that.
Starting point is 01:24:39 Three D's. Mm-hmm. Interesting. On wafulu. Okay. Oh, good does. Hey, Des. Hey, Des.
Starting point is 01:24:48 Hey, Desi, do. I feel shiny. Yeah, I'm going to Yeah, on Rain Club. That's a good one, too. All right. How many did I pull? One, two, three, four, five, six,
Starting point is 01:25:06 seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven. Got four more. Here are some kitties. I like that. That's what I call this. less. There's some kitties. Then the Lynn one.
Starting point is 01:25:28 Look at a land. 11, 12, 13, 40, 15. 15 winners. Let's go. Okay. I got to contact a lot of people soon. Okay, dokey. There we go. That is for the game codes for, I think we have three, four different games we can.
Starting point is 01:25:48 We'll basically message you guys all. You guys and tell us which game you want. and then we'll go ahead and send out to you guys. I'll message you guys later and please have whispers open. Mm-hmm. Okay, dokey. I think we're going to our next little segment now, right?
Starting point is 01:26:02 Yes. The one we've all been waiting for. Yay. Which one? It's Ali's Song Association. Hey. Okay, so I did this just so I didn't have to sing, but you all have to sing.
Starting point is 01:26:14 Oh. Nice. Dang. I mean, I didn't even know. I just sing it. Or humming or. Okay, at least say the thing that leads up to the word. Okay.
Starting point is 01:26:28 All right, let's do it. I'm not good with this game. It's easy. It's really easy. All right. We're excited. Yay. Let's do it.
Starting point is 01:26:37 And maybe it's, is it Christmas songs? It's holiday themed. Holiday themed. Okay. Yeah. I don't think it's necessarily. Okay. But I did say you have to sing a song.
Starting point is 01:26:50 I don't care. Well, if somebody, I don't know, you can use the same song twice. I don't really care, but at least you get to still hear you. I mean, yeah, let's do it. Well, you have like 10 seconds, so good luck. Oh. Damn. So you just have to, so the first person to sing, I guess,
Starting point is 01:27:07 Wednesday. Okay, so the first word is jingle. Jingle Bell. Jingle Bell. Jingle Bell. Oh, yeah. Oh, wow. Oh, what, fine.
Starting point is 01:27:18 You can cry, whatever. What, that's a lot. Right, ow, damn, I hit my elbow. Okay, there. I'm going. I'm going. Snow. One horse opens.
Starting point is 01:27:29 I have covered my own. Wait, wait. Okay, all right. What do you want to? I have photized. Wait, what? Snow? Snow.
Starting point is 01:27:40 Do you want to build a snowman? Oh. Oh. You want to build a snowman? I'm still ruining over my elbow. Oh. Oh. I'm going to do with snowman right now.
Starting point is 01:27:57 Oh, dang. I completely forgot about that. Type it in the head. Okay. First of the, man. The part of snow. You could just said, let it snow. Let it snow. Oh, dang.
Starting point is 01:28:16 I completely forgot about that. What's to me? Oh, we got to hear Mike's voice. I feel like Mike can see. Let snow? Oh, God, I don't even know the lyrics of that. It's been so long as I heard it. I got one.
Starting point is 01:28:35 Every, Merry Christmas, and I'll do a Charlie, from a Charlie Brown Christmas. Oh, just watch that yesterday. Christmas time. Next one, uh, jolly. Have a holly, jolly Christmas. Yeah. And the best time of it.
Starting point is 01:29:13 I can't say that word in here. I know, I don't like the one or two phrases. and then the rest is like the you know, you start to kind of like pretend, you know the lyrics, you just kind of listen to the rhythm. You're like, yeah. I would have loved to have done this, but obviously like in the UK,
Starting point is 01:29:31 they don't have Christmas. We don't have songs. We're not actually allowed to sing a thing because I think it's something to do with like religious. I think it's like, I don't know. I can't remember, but it was something. So I just got to support you in the background, to be honest. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 01:29:47 Uh, next day is winter. Winter. Winter. Winter. Oh, no. You just make that up. That's not. Wait.
Starting point is 01:29:59 What's the song is winter? I do that. I do that a lot. Uh. What's the song is winter. Wow. Oh. Wow.
Starting point is 01:30:13 You can't get like two songs. In the matter. So you can feel just down there. Yes. Santa Claus is coming to town. Oh, yeah. Santa Claus is coming. It comes Santa Claus.
Starting point is 01:30:33 Oh. Okay. Santa Claus. Anything from the guys? I'm trying to remember the Santa, Santa ran over Grandma one. I can't remember the lyrics to that. Oh.
Starting point is 01:30:48 What about the seductive one? What about the Sanctuary? That's what she was singing. I can't be seductive. I'm sick. Oh. What about? Mom and Kirsten's Anna Claus.
Starting point is 01:30:57 Oh, that's a good one. I got a, I got a dude I can with my jazz musician. I was going to do something more modern, like Ariana Grande. Stents to tell me if you're really happy. I should choose a girl. I thought we was talking about the old school. No, I mean, that's just my song. Okay.
Starting point is 01:31:17 Mike saying that Brunova. Oh, yeah, no. Did anyone watch that? Yeah. I don't know, I was thinking, I mean, who ran over Grandma? Grandma got ran over Santa, so I was like, Santa, mate? I've been the right, I've been the right space. I don't know if I executed it well.
Starting point is 01:31:42 Get this, Feliz. Nabilita. Nabila. Hey. Pum, bum, pome, pome, pome, Okay. Oh, my God. Okay.
Starting point is 01:31:59 Next one is Slay. Next one is sleigh. Play bells, ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, sorry. Yeah! Something, something, something, something, something. It's Winter Wonderland, yeah. Missletoe. A mistletoe fun about Chris.
Starting point is 01:32:30 Somebody kissing under the mistletoe. Something, I'm kissing. What's it? What's it? M1 one, yeah. Children. Oh, what's the Justin Bieber one? There's Justin Bieber Missile
Starting point is 01:32:47 Res. There's Justin? Oh, yeah. She said, help me, babes. Help me. Help me. Help me. Help me. Help me. I'm going to get the fuck. I'm done. The next one was day. I don't know if you have a holiday.
Starting point is 01:33:33 It's my day. Day? The best day of the year. I don't know. Oh. Are you? Are you? Are you making it out?
Starting point is 01:33:46 Best day of the year. Something, something. Something. Oh, yeah. I like that. Oh, the 12th day of Christmas. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:34:00 On the first day of Christmas, my true love sent to me, partridge or the factory. Yeah, there we go. Or in the case of Destiny's child, I'm sorry. That's what I get me, great. This one is love.
Starting point is 01:34:17 You could pick any love song, I guess. Love. You know, you know. So many. Don't come to me, Mary. Oh, chow! Come out some love, Kisha Cole, alright.
Starting point is 01:34:34 I'm trying to sing that. Never knew love. You know what I'm. That's all I got. Look. I got me a musician voice, so you all ain't me. You like, Marisha Changed your name to... You like are just remixing anything.
Starting point is 01:34:58 No. Oh, wait. What is amazing? Wait, wait. You know what I need to see the YouTube. Wait, I don't know what were you saying? I'm saying, I feel like Mirra should change your name to ex-Mariah, Mariah Carey. Why are you doing me like this?
Starting point is 01:35:15 Okay, my both of the words are broken. Come on, give us some all I want from Christmas. Oh, no. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, that's what you about to say to? Oh, me? No. best thing i and i don't know
Starting point is 01:35:43 i wish come true baby that was chaotic yeah yeah cab burly says i almost heard some harmonies i'm getting none for me i mean we would have had cohetos
Starting point is 01:36:00 and you would have been to the red for real wanted it to be so worked out awesome i'm good i think uh that was so good good, we should do another giveaway now. Yeah. Yay.
Starting point is 01:36:17 I think we're going to go ahead. Let's see. Let's go ahead and give away some T-shirt, shall we? Let's do it. Let's see. What should Kobe? How about the code? Ex-Mari and Mariah.
Starting point is 01:36:37 Really? That's so cool. But how are you, they're going to be like, hi-ish by Mariah? Hold on, M-Bah. I think it's like that. ex-Mariah Mariah X Mariah Mariah
Starting point is 01:36:49 that is the code we're gonna go ahead pull five you can't shirt for my white wait which one oh like Christmas
Starting point is 01:37:01 is so fetch yeah oh yeah I love that my fair is when we're doing the Target my fair is when we're doing
Starting point is 01:37:10 the sog thing whenever you would give a word the people and thought that it was like a giveaway so they would start typing a word so I just like look at the corner of my eye
Starting point is 01:37:18 Yeah, so it was like, oh, what's day? And I see people just typing day. And I go, ex-Mariah, Mariah. X Mariah, Mariah. I think I should trademark that. That's pretty catchy. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:37:44 It was ex-Mirri-a-Miriamarie. I sound like a damn jazz musician. Why are y'all doing this? I don't know. I was technically one song association. You thought I wasn't going to be able to do it. My car. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:37:59 You did good. It's that day. your freestyle by everything. I appreciate everybody participated. I didn't think everybody was going to participate. Only Cassie was like trying to elect out. I don't know your American songs.
Starting point is 01:38:13 Are they British holiday songs? I don't know. Oh my God. I'm sorry. Because they're Jamaican ones, but it's just remixed regular ones.
Starting point is 01:38:29 Like, what? You don't leave beans and toast up for Santa Claus? Get her, Jay. Let me click this. See, when they were talking about my candy corn. You toast. Do you toast to toast? Shut up. You toast the beans.
Starting point is 01:39:05 Yeah, because you don't want to, like, give them soggy bread, you know? So you toast it. No, I think it's got to be good in solid. Okay. Now, do you just, do you want to be a little bit? Are they baked beans? Now, do you add a little brown sugar to them to make them a little sugary, you know, what? A little ground beef. What?
Starting point is 01:39:28 Oh, what? You know what? I'm not going to say sausages or something. No, ground beef. You never put ground beef in your, you know what? I don't know what? We don't want to. No, what?
Starting point is 01:39:40 In your big beef. Okay, we're not going to talk about this. All right. All right, last call, last call. We're going to pull winners right now, five T-shirts. Man, maybe it shouldn't be the code beans, but it's okay now. We got the Gabor snap. Rolled again.
Starting point is 01:40:00 Gons, Prots, Trickster. Ooh, and some leaked speak. I like it. Oh, shoot. And then, final one. Yolo, wow, that's something I've not heard of in a long time. Okay, Yolo. All right, I'll go ahead and DM you guys.
Starting point is 01:40:18 please have your whispers open. These are for the t-shirts. Congratulations. You, everyone. See, they've heard of beans. They heard of baked beans and ground beef. Thank you. Thank you all so much, yeah.
Starting point is 01:40:30 I actually had that last night. That was really good. What, baked beans and ground beef? Yeah. That was my dinner last night for real. Oh, yeah? Yeah. You never had.
Starting point is 01:40:40 I thank you. You are not alone. Somebody said, it's lately. I was like, teas, food, things need to be canceled. And I told them so bad. Her food tastes. Okay, I'll try that one for you because we actually, like,
Starting point is 01:40:57 I don't think that's a bad combination. I might make my stomach throw gang signs, but I don't think it's necessarily a bad combination. With some sweet baby, sweet baby raised, honey barbecue sauce. I love that. And some brown sugar and then you, like, cook it. And then the ground beef and, like, cook it on, like, low for, like, That's so sweet, though. It's not so sweet.
Starting point is 01:41:20 You know what? That's why y'all in the North say up there, because I ain't got time. Mm-mm. Damn. That's sweet. You're raised in no joke. It's delicious. It is.
Starting point is 01:41:30 It is. All right. It's time for our next segment here where I'm going to ask all of you some random questions that I'm going to pull from Twitter now with the Hall of Yeas hashtag. So there's a lot of questions. I'm not going to be able to go through all of them. So I'm just going to just pick. pick them at random and ask people here. So let's start with Mira,
Starting point is 01:41:52 since you're coughing, I'm going to pick you. Ayub Hadi ask, what is your favorite cereal? Is it bad I haven't had cereal and so I can't even, damn. I like honeynut Cheerios.
Starting point is 01:42:11 That's my jam. All right. This next one's for Alley. This for sure ask, what was your first game that you could not put down? That's hard. So when I was growing up, they gave me a little handheld game thing and it was Donkey Kong.
Starting point is 01:42:33 It was like one of the original Donkey Kong like handheld games. I actually got it from one of my cousins. Yeah, I could stop it. The game is a dick team. Yeah. All right, Cassie. Alessandro asks,
Starting point is 01:42:47 what is your favorite food? Oh. Clanting. I think Clunting is a favourite. Why are you laughing? You're sick, beans and toes. I'm not doing that. You're not getting set up for you. I'm not. I'm like, wait, God, then put that on there.
Starting point is 01:43:07 I was like, thank God. No, no. I'm sicker you not. No. Yeah. I was like, I was like, I was thinking, thank God Ben didn't go to tea,
Starting point is 01:43:18 because we would hear like the endless rant about candy courts. about candy corrus so that's what i was thinking he never knew what he was doing dead ass be us to death so you're not he already like he already knew so he knew i mean he knows me now okay okay go ahead all right tea iqram wants to know what is your favorite drink oh is it candy corn
Starting point is 01:43:46 tiny corn in a blender oh wow oh yeah butter banana smoothie oh okay that sounds good peanut banana smoothie what a little bit of oatmeal like grounded oatmeal
Starting point is 01:44:01 it's really good okay that sounds good my favorite all right uh Ola Como Zero wants to ask Mirra here
Starting point is 01:44:12 what is your favorite thing about Christmas Yeah, um, I'm gonna have to say spending time with loved ones. It's like, oh, gifts, of course you get older and like the things you appreciate beginning to change. It went from like video games and like things like socks and house coats. I was so happy when I started getting me like the mature Christmas guests like, she's like, here's some linens. Merry Christmas. I'm like, yes. But definitely I say spending time with family and being with your loved ones. It's like super cool, it's super important. And I think with the world we
Starting point is 01:44:49 live in, a lot of us tend to lose sight of that. It's the importance of like having the people you love around you or, you know, the families that people build or are, you know, born in around them and like, you know, the people you care about the most. Beautiful. Beautiful. All right, Ali. You Harrio wants to know. What gift would you want for Christmas? NCXT PC. Turn it up. Turn it up.
Starting point is 01:45:21 Respectable. I respect it. All right. That was good. That was good. Did you guys get that? We clipped it. We're good. Okay. Cassie. Mars Maybe wants to know what content
Starting point is 01:45:36 are you excited to make in 2023? I want to do some hosting. I want to I want to be on the stage and then be ushered off because they, I went off script and they're like, oh my God, we need to stop her. And then I want to do the
Starting point is 01:45:53 apology, like, video the next day with like a white background. Like, you need to let YouTube think I've planned it out. I'll have like the script out here. And I'm just saying, I had not only failed you. I failed myself. And that's what
Starting point is 01:46:09 I'd love to do for next year. As he has thought about this one. You want? You want to do this? I said thank you so much. How many times do you say that scenario out in your head? A lot. A lot.
Starting point is 01:46:26 But there's going to be like a clip, and then there's going to be people that are analyzing what I've said. And then there's going to be like a Twitter logo saying, this is unfair. And then I come back. All right. I love that. All thought out.
Starting point is 01:46:40 Got it. All right, T-Cup. Kuma Monster wants to know what is your favorite color? Oh, I don't really have a favorite color. I like all colors. Okay, the color I don't like
Starting point is 01:47:00 I don't like red. I'm sorry. I'm not a red person. Why would you say that when I'm red? You're a red. Christmas time, that's different. You know, it's a mixture of green and red. I have a favorite color of orange. I do like the candy corn color since I mean you threw it out there
Starting point is 01:47:17 I have to say it I do like the candy corn colors you know a little bit of orange yellow and white it's just mesh as well therefore I do feel like if anybody else is with me NCX should make some form of like
Starting point is 01:47:32 something you go with the computer you know because I feel like it would be good like just imagine I have an orange PC a yellow you know something vibrant And bright, cord, leave corn. Ironically, I think if you mix orange and yellow, it makes red, right? Which you hate.
Starting point is 01:47:50 Mm. Mm. Mm. Mm. Red does it does. No, red. Red is a, no, red is a primary color. Right.
Starting point is 01:47:59 Reds a primary. Red and yellow. Like, wait. I'm going to do one, one more round of questions, and then we'll do another giveaway. All right? Okay. Okay. So, Mira.
Starting point is 01:48:10 Tako, wants to. know what games are you planning on playing over the holiday break damn um probably just gta since rpe is all i've been doing all year and then with a splash of overwatch in the corner and then i've kind of got a dick through that backlog and i are just new games that are coming out and look through some games because i need a change of pace because i've been playing gta since like March. So I'm going to change the pace. All right, All right. This is kind of an interesting question here
Starting point is 01:48:48 for you, Ali. All right. Seth wants to know. All right, this is kind of long, so bear with me. The holidays are usually the time when people watch streams the most. Is it hard to either go live where you can spend time with the family or is it harder to not go live and feel like you're missing out on revenue? and you still relax.
Starting point is 01:49:13 Oh, that's a bad question for me. Because, okay, so when now that I don't live with my parents, when I used to live with my parents, I actually streamed through the holidays because they were like around me and people would come to the house. So I feel like if people are coming to your place and you kind of get to have like a select time,
Starting point is 01:49:34 maybe like a two or three hours stream, you could stream and have like a holiday moment with your community. And but even if you're going out or something, like I would say, Take care of the people who you know are there for you and support you in person and then maybe think of a stream because your stream is going to be there. You know, they're not going anywhere. But if you can't make the time, don't force it.
Starting point is 01:49:59 If you're burnt out, if you need a break, take the holiday time. It's the perfect time because most people are also spending time with their families. But there are people who don't have like family or have anyone to spend time with. So if you can make that time, you can do it. But if you cannot, don't force it. Because I can sometimes make that time because there's times where we go out, we eat everything, and I'll come back. And I'll be like, oh, I feel like a stream and do like a three-hour stream on Christmas
Starting point is 01:50:27 or Christmas Eve or something. But you can definitely link like contingencies to like balance, balance. Learn balance as a content creator. And everything will kind of like smooth itself out. Don't overthink it. Listen to your body. and go see your family. It's not that hard once you figure it out.
Starting point is 01:50:47 Good answer, good answer. All right, Cassie. E.J. asked. Everyone always asks what games people like, but I want to know what kind of game do you actually avoid? Okay, so I'm really passionate about this. I put aside the FPS games for whatever reason.
Starting point is 01:51:08 That game, the one where you wash a car, like all my days it's like those simulator games it was like car ross simulator yeah so everyone was like oh you play this game it's really relaxing
Starting point is 01:51:24 you're gonna find it's like I have never been so stressed in my life like I'm shouting at the monitor I don't understand why people have lied and said that this is like a game for your mental health I went back to a soul's game
Starting point is 01:51:38 because I was like that's more relaxing in a way what I'm doing I'm being dead serious. The power washing name? The power wash is? It needs to be stopped. Also, flight simulator. Okay, thank you.
Starting point is 01:51:51 Okay, flight simulator is stressed. I'll give you that one. That's understood. Even back to a soul's game. It was less stressful than what I was. They was like, oh my God. She's built different. Yeah, well, what was stressful about power wash?
Starting point is 01:52:04 I kept cleaning it, and then it was still like dirty. And then I was like, they're not paying enough of this. Also, I don't know how long this would take. I guess, there was a lot going on. Yeah, but they didn't tell me that until afterwards, but I'd been just like using the like dot instead of like, she was going to changes, that too questions. She just had to change them after game.
Starting point is 01:52:35 Because I'm like, I was streaming in 20. She was streaming it. It was. I feel like I answered the questions. Thanks for people that understand me. Last question. I feel seen. All right, T.
Starting point is 01:52:51 Juanito asked, what is the best thing about being a content creator? Oh. Oh, yes. This is easy. Come on, T, you got this. Making people laugh.
Starting point is 01:53:04 Smile. Being happy. Entertaining. Uplifting. Encouraging. Motivating. Inspiring. What else?
Starting point is 01:53:13 What did I leave out? Everything. Yeah, the community. The community, everything. It's like the best part and, you know, making people smile and maybe they're having a bad day or something. Like, you know what? I came in the street and I was selling whatever.
Starting point is 01:53:28 And, you know, just being here, you made me laugh. You made me smile and like, you know, I feel better. I feel, you know, things like that. It's just that's like the best thing, you know? Yeah. And then you throw in the side of the money, you know? And then that's better. That's always good, too.
Starting point is 01:53:44 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Nice. Well, thank you for answering the questions. Thank you everyone who asked the questions. You do get a bunch of bonus entries for the PC giveaway by asking questions with the Hallease hashtag. So thank you everyone. Good luck.
Starting point is 01:53:58 And with that, Mike, we're going to give away five lanyard slash sticker packs. What should the code be for? I have the perfect code. It is the code. Remember, please do not type this more than two times. else you will get disqualified and two times it's not giving you extra entries by the way the code is ew candy corn
Starting point is 01:54:22 no spaces ew candy corn no spaces that is the code um yes are you like this see this is what happens we entered a giveaway yes
Starting point is 01:54:37 yes the chat the chat agrees last Halloween we did this thing where we dumped a bunch of candy corn into a computer case and we had people guess how many candy corns were inside the computer case for a chance to win the case
Starting point is 01:54:53 and I had to throw that computer case away because it stunk so bad after that candy corn smell does not go away Ivan, why you like this? Candy corn and often smell a light man you're really the only person I know who likes candy corn for real
Starting point is 01:55:13 I'm not even making a joke It's so sugary. Sorry. I tried it for the first time. And I've never tasted anything that tastes so much like candle wax. You know what candle wax tastes like? I've tasted candelwax. And I would rather have had more candle wax when I have the candy corn.
Starting point is 01:55:36 It tasted like my candy corn knowledge, um, university. Um, I can tell that you haven't been eating the right candy. corn. So your opinion doesn't matter. It's about it's the quality of the candy corn, the timing of the candy corn, when you eat the candy corn and when they make the candy corn. So if you buy candy corn in January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, it's not going to be the quality. The chef's kiss. No, you're right. Okay. It sounds, it's like shit shaving. Stop it, T. You got I'm trying to save you. Wait, why are you? Do you remember the message she said when she tasted? She was like, T, oh my God. Your taste doesn't need to be checked. What is this? I tasted candy corn for the first time.
Starting point is 01:56:29 It was so like, but she couldn't believe it. Because I was ready to defend her. I was ready to defend her. It's okay. He used to defend her. You'd be like, I don't know what it tastes like, but you got it kept going in on my great. I was here.
Starting point is 01:56:43 I'm just gonna say Mike who made up this e-o candy corn was I'm like I was very dormant with the candy corn during the holiday season because I was trying to give y'all the break but now woke in me on jeez fine i woke in the raft oh jeez it is fine I'm the only corn till June there's only one candy I can think of that I think is more disgusting than candy corn and it's the the Caterbury eggs. I was gonna say the little chicks from Easter time. That's disgusting. Oh, wait, you guys are talking about two different days.
Starting point is 01:57:23 She's talking about, what are little things? What? Those are, uh, peeps, peeps. Peaks. Peaks, yeah. Peeps are pretty real. Yeah, no, because I feel like the UK was attacked here. Sorry.
Starting point is 01:57:33 What do you mean? Do you mean the eggs? Like, do you mean, like, the eggs that everyone has at Easter? Yes, the Caterbury eggs. The chocolate, the chocolate eggs was like a, is it the one with the prize inside. And the spoon. A Cadbury cream egg.
Starting point is 01:57:48 Oh, the one's cream. And the thing is, the loud of cream is kids who are probably not eating it, right? How do you eat it? You know what? It's not so much, it's not so much. It's not so much the taste. It's the look of it because it's shaped
Starting point is 01:58:01 like, it's a chocolate. It's shaped like an egg. And then you open it up and it's yellow. Yeah, because that's what eggs look like. They're committed to the course. That's my whole point. That's my whole point. Sorry.
Starting point is 01:58:13 We have these eggs. Wait, hold on. They're called cabri cream eggs, and they've got, like, fondant in the middle. And they, yes, they've made... So you, like, you open it, and then you listen... No, you know what.
Starting point is 01:58:28 Oh, wait, it actually looks like an egg. It physically looks like an egg inside. It's pretty disgusting, like, game. What? Wait, that's what you're here? Okay, but look at the way that it's there. But you're using... The pictures in there that's very subtle.
Starting point is 01:58:45 Is it, wait, is it an actual egg? It looks like an egg. She said it was fondet. Oh, it's fond. Good. No. So you just, you cut it in half and then you lick the... Why is there a vegan one?
Starting point is 01:59:00 Oh my God. Okay. Now, look, fondet. I'm going to have to try this. If it not fondant, it's marshmallow and caramel. Okay, well, see, and this is why I don't represent anywhere. Because I don't know what I don't mean to eat. Yeah, it's fine.
Starting point is 01:59:16 The peeps are similar, but not as gross in my opinion. But pretty nasty, too. Look at the peeps, Mike. Ooh. Yeah. Oh, yeah, they're like marshmallow, right? I had to split it, yeah. The outside is not good.
Starting point is 01:59:34 What is that? It's not even the candy I would eat if there were no other candy. I like marshmallows. That's a very unnatural-looking color. I get some of the fair gets up. I have a hot to Molly version. Okay, that's next on the list. Oh, we're pulling, right?
Starting point is 01:59:52 Did we pull it? Yes, I'll go ahead and pull. Let's go ahead, pull five winners. You and I, I don't know, you know. I mean, I feel about this candy corn. I pushed that. I'm going to wake up tomorrow. She's going to be like,
Starting point is 02:00:09 can you believe Mike really use ill candy corn? No, oh, oh, it's a route. It's tweeted. Oh, wow. Oh, my God, bro. Wow. I have a wake. Congrats.
Starting point is 02:00:21 I got three. I didn't realize. Oh, okay. Sorry. Just pulled all of them. Please have your whispers open. Please have your whispers open. Congratulations.
Starting point is 02:00:36 You done it. Congratulations. You've won. He is not happy right now. Me? Oh, uh-uh. I was trying to be quiet. I was going to be good.
Starting point is 02:00:50 Everybody was like, my gosh, we always talk about candy corn. So I changed my picture and everything to Christmas. She's going to show you the holiday candy corn. Good luck. Yep. Now, Mike, let's talk about these drinks now because I've in the past have melted down some candy corn and I feel like we can be using that in the music.
Starting point is 02:01:12 You know, you are a mixed olog. You're practically mixed ologist. I do feel like that you can melt that down and do something with it, you know? Just saying. Candy corn It's just like basically sugar at that point But it tastes good This guy has like a marshmallow
Starting point is 02:01:27 I got the name I'm trying to justify it We'll call it the corn quito Corn Quito You can make the cornucito And put the milked the candy corn in there Why would you give her this idea Candy corn and rum?
Starting point is 02:01:43 Yes, do it This is the candy corn cocktail right here Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh my God
Starting point is 02:01:56 This looks like This looks Terrified I don't know if you Have ever seen Alex Mac But Whatever she fell into is what made her Candy corn
Starting point is 02:02:11 No Immediately no Did you say whatever she Ballets is Yeah Yeah Alex Mac fell into something and whatever oil spill she was in, and that's what that drink looked like. Soda, extra candy corn for garnish. No, thank you.
Starting point is 02:02:27 Yeah, it's candy corn simple syrup, which is just sugar and more sugar. And then you add like vodka, soda water, and it add more candy corn for garnish. Somebody said that the chat is very divided in them liking candy corn. I feel like more people may like candy corn. What if we do a cold or something? I feel like a lot of people may like it. I like what Jake. Jacob brought up a good point.
Starting point is 02:02:53 Just like one sip, you reached your daily intake of sugar. We should have like a sugar test between the coquito and the candy corn. I'm fighting for the other thing. Enough. Enough candy corn talk. It's time for our,
Starting point is 02:03:15 it's time for the last segment here before we wrap us. Let's do it. All right. So this is actually the segment that I've been looking forward to the most because I love New Year's. Like, I love the idea of a fresh start of hitting the reset button, of setting goals and trying to check things off of the to-do list and whatnot. So this next segment, we're just going to go around the room and everyone's going to tell, tell everyone what our New Year's resolutions are. So, Mira, let's start with you. What's your New Year's Resolutions? for 2023.
Starting point is 02:03:51 Get better with enforcing boundaries and going to sleep. Absolutely. Because I struggle with that. I struggle with both, especially sleep. So I want the year coming in to have, I guess, just more, I guess just to be more responsible with myself and be more conscious of myself and my needs and take care of myself better all around.
Starting point is 02:04:25 So that's my New Year's resolution. Please, please do that. Your health is important. All right, Allie, what's your new year resolution for 2023? Maintain balance or fine balance at this point. But yeah, I'm really, my goal really is to push more content creation stuff. I'm like probably the laziest one on this panel. But yeah, I'm really just going to put like some more thought and work on like the impact of my content, my personal content.
Starting point is 02:05:01 And also like doing more things with more and community management and making sure everybody's role-li-clip. And also taking care of myself. That's why I say balance because I love working. I really do. There's a fulfillment when you're working and on when you're working and it's something. something you love. There's a passion there. So I always like try to renew that each new year and also like, you know, see what I can do for the next year that's new and better and just keep going, basically. That's so fetch. So so fetch. All right. Kathy, what's your new year's resolution for
Starting point is 02:05:39 23. I watched everything everywhere all that once this year and it made me really want to spend more time with like my family and like my mum's especially. So I want to spend more time like doing nice things with family and friends and having those memories and also to delete Tinder because then not keep finding my Twitch channel and I have to pretend that I can't see the messages. So it's going. I'm sorry.
Starting point is 02:06:08 last happening too. Thanks. I want to meet you on Twitch? Take us on the chat. Everyone's looking for you on Tinder right now. Absolutely not. Hello. Great. Hey, babes.
Starting point is 02:06:22 No, I need them to do that. I found you on Twitter, babes. What's going on? Besides eating more candy corn tea, what's your new resolution for 2020? Then you'd be putting it there and then I don't even be thinking about it. And then, okay. Um, self-care. Like, I did start like my self-care journey early
Starting point is 02:06:42 of this year. Um, I just want to remain consistent with it. Um, just like, it's not selfish to want to like take care of yourself, your body, your mental, physically, emotionally, spiritually, whateverly. Um, so mostly just taking care of me. Um, I feel like I, I do do more for other people and then I get run down and I'm like, oh my gosh, I haven't even done this for myself and I'm doing this for others. So just taking a step back and saying, have I done this for me before I'm actually going to do that for you?
Starting point is 02:07:12 Like, I love everybody, but I got to be more selfish. Like, continue to practice being more selfish for me in a healthy way. So I like that. Mike, I'm going to ask you, what's your new resolution? So there's two kind of with Mira focusing on help after, you know, us still kind of getting over. the pandemic um and uh just focusing on you know being healthy eating healthy that's one big one i actually found this on tictock the other day which was an amazing uh resolution i think a lot of people would uh actually it'll help out a lot it's if you have something you got to put it
Starting point is 02:07:58 in its original place like when you're done with it so if you have a cup of water and you're drinking out of it and you're done with it you have to put it away If you have clothes that you just pull out the laundry, you have to put it away. If you have a plate, you know, a car keys, a wallet, something like that. And it's in your possession, you have to put it back into the room of position. Because I am very bad at, like, grabbing my stuff and just putting on my bed and be like, all right, I'll get it later. Or I have a box that I opened up and I'm like, I'll get rid of it later. putting getting the thing and putting it where it's supposed to be is going to be my biggest
Starting point is 02:08:36 resolution for this thing yes i'm sorry gassie i have to yeah i think i think i think i want to steal that one for myself actually i never thought about that i feel like i should probably do that especially uh having two little kids that it's a good club very difficult right oh stepie you don't put it down put it away that is a great that's a great way of doing it don't put it down know the laundry thing, you kind of got me because, you know, you take it out and you put it away, but you put it in the basket. Is that the same thing? Because you putting it away
Starting point is 02:09:07 is, but it's just in the basket. Wow. No. No. No. Okay. You know what? You're right. You show right. You do find things better, you know, when you put it up. You're right. Don't leave stuff in the basket. You know, I mean. Y'all call strays with mics
Starting point is 02:09:23 a resolution, huh? That's right. That's right. I did. It's over here. It's a hard one. It's a hard one because, like, You're just like, oh, I'll do it with it later, but like when you have to do it, you're like, I got it. You got it. You got me with the watercups because that would be me. Yeah, the watercups, plates, bottles, trash, boxes you opened up for them like Amazon stuff like that. Put it away.
Starting point is 02:09:48 And it's enough. This is my biggest problem. This is really related. Oh, who's next? That was it? Next. Go. What about yours?
Starting point is 02:10:03 I actually do like that put the things away when I'm like that's actually like really good. But before that, my year resolution was kind of a little cheesy. I thought it would be cool to do something like one thing for my mind, one thing for my body, and one thing for my soul this year. Okay. It's not cheesy at all. For my mind, what I would I... I resolved to do is I'm going, the first thing I'm going to do every day when I wake up is I'm going to read. Because if I put that off, like, I'm not going to read in the afternoon. I'm not going to read at night.
Starting point is 02:10:40 I'm just too tired and lazy. I'm busy, whatever. So I'm just going to, like, wake up early and, like, read for, like, 30 minutes every day just to, like, get my mind going. for my body I've been pretty good this year actually with exercising but I think where I really have to kick it up a notch is my diet because I love to eat I ate half a pumpkin pie last night
Starting point is 02:11:03 with whipped cream and cinnamon stuff and I just like I can't be doing that yeah it's not good for you so I want to just you know reel in my diet a little bit and for my soul I don't know like everyone keeps telling me
Starting point is 02:11:19 Like this meditating thing is like good for you. I've never tried it. But I think I'm going to try meditating and just seeing if I can turn my brain off and focus on my breath for a couple minutes each day and just kind of let the stress wash over me or whatever. So I'm going to try those three things and see how it goes. Apart from putting everything in its right place like Mike suggested. I really like that one. Thanks.
Starting point is 02:11:45 Yeah, Mike, you are, yeah. they don't think me think tic-tok that was a that was an amazing one i found it and i'm like i got to seal that because that's it's i do that all the time i literally have like two boxes right underneath my desk right now that i still haven't put away i really do feel like with the meditation too it's like really great just make sure you put your phone away i think like i usually meditate and i if my phone is right i'm like you know i mean i don't do like the hum thing but i do like my brain is just going like like a hundred miles per hour. Like literally, I think about work all the time.
Starting point is 02:12:21 They know that all the time. But when I do meditate, like when I put my phone away, like, I put it in other room. Oh, my dang, I'm too lazy to go in the other room to get it. So I'm like meditating in this room and then my phone is across the room. So I don't pick it up or I don't look at Twitter or Instagram. Oh, dang, I forgot. I got to tweet this right quick. Nah.
Starting point is 02:12:39 So it was like, get rid of that phone. And then it's going to be good. It really does. It's helpful. It's just, you know, you got this. You got this. I'll check in a year when I have achieved none of these resolutions. Yay.
Starting point is 02:12:53 I will that bring it up to the end of our stream. Mike, what are the announcements? First of all, does anyone here have any announcements that they want to go through, shoutouts or anything like that before I go ahead and go to announcements and a secret code for a lot of people that are waiting for it? Oh. Just thank you, NZXT, just for everything you've done for the NOR network throughout the year. and putting your money where your mouth is, as we say. We're very intentional with saying that
Starting point is 02:13:22 because there's a lot of companies who won't do what you guys do in actually supplying resources, giving people who need PCs, the PC. Like, my job was like five years old. And, yeah, just, and even just, like, communicating with us, even for this, coming together and us planning this, it was so amazing and fun. and we just joked around the whole time,
Starting point is 02:13:48 but it came together. We had to work through so much. Mirror got sick, I got six. It was just a lot. I think he had stuff going on, but you guys were very patient and understanding, and I'm so excited. I hope we have, oh yeah,
Starting point is 02:14:05 that should have been our resolution. For the NOR network is to continue to work with NZXT and, you know, just spread the word to other black fems around the content. creation space and just see how it goes. So yeah, thank you so much. We don't really have an announcement yet. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:14:23 You're welcome and thank you too. If I had to piggyback off of Allie, because I told you I was going to say that. Like, we've never left. We was just being a little more selfish and being a little more of doing our own thing. So we never left. We just been doing things, learning and, you know,
Starting point is 02:14:41 continue to educate. So, you know, it's 2023. I'm just like, you know, know, like. Yeah, we came together and it was like a whoosh. Like people were willing to work with us and talk to us and things. And we were still kind of learning like, what are we about? What are we going to do?
Starting point is 02:14:57 And it's been amazing a year, I would say a year and a half or something, right? And it's been, we've done some, yeah, we've been. We've done some amazing things. And we want to continue to do amazing things, not only for our members, but also something that could impact the greater community. and show that like we're here and yeah we have fun. And we may have been a little addicted to R-B but I mean, just a little time.
Starting point is 02:15:24 Just a little bit. I'm playing my games now, okay. What's wrong with that? Thank you. All right, Mike, take it away. All right, so just a one quick announcement for everyone is that NZXT has been releasing a lot of products. So check out our new cases or coolers, air coolers,
Starting point is 02:15:44 monitors, mics, microphones, uh, mice, keyboards, mouse pads, everything. We even have to throw away all. Like, we are releasing everything. So please check out nzzyxc.com and learn more and check them out. Also, please do exclamation points socials into chat and follow all of these lovely, lovely, lovely ladies on Twitch. Also following Noir and Network as well. And I guess that is the end of announcements. I guess for those that want to see the code.
Starting point is 02:16:27 So there's actually a couple people that actually found out the code very early because he made it really easy. So I had to change up the code real quick and then redo it. So please refresh your gleams before entering the code. And that is Happy Halli-Yes. Happy Holliers. Holly, yes. Yeah, we wanted to get back. So good luck to you guys.
