and welcome to episode 166 of the N60 podcast,
the official podcast of the official N60 community.
This podcast recorded live on Friday at 10-Hamp Pacific Standard Time
on the official NCC Twitch and is available to stream on demand
on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, and SoundCloud.
My name is Mike, and with me, as always, is Ivan.
Ivan, how are you doing?
How we do, baby, boo?
I'm very happy and sad to be here at the same time
because on today's podcast, we are saying goodbye.
to someone who spent a long time with us behind the scenes working on social media.
So she is moving on to bigger and better things.
So we are going to say goodbye to her and let her know or ask her like, you know,
what her experience was like here.
So Lena, welcome.
How are you?
I'm good.
How are you guys?
I'm doing good.
Hippo in the chat here is saying or he's asking, will Lena be fired?
So I didn't think about that, but maybe we should fire her live on the air.
Do something so they can just get really mad.
Should I, like, shoved on the middle finger?
I imagine.
That's too late for that.
But yeah, so welcome, Lena, to episode number 166 of the podcast.
Before we get into all the nitty-gritty here, asking you all the important questions,
let everyone know who are you and what did you do exactly at NZXT?
Yeah, so hi everyone. I'm Lena. I've worked with Mike and Ivan with social media basically doing creating memes, content creation, as well as like responding to DMs, the many DMs of you guys.
and then as well as like managing posting and scheduling and just basic social media stuff
yeah just the basics so i'm actually want to show off some of lina's tic talks she and i were
basically one of the main people that did tictops and she went viral many times so i kind of want
to show off some of the uh post that she made so i'll go ahead and switch over to that real quick
Actually, I'll cover our
Actually, no, I'll keep our cameras on
So this is one of, this is her
Build a Dream PC with me
So you can choose your case
Your cooler
motherboard
Your PSU
And then what your RGB settings
Did really well
Then one of Ivan's favorite ones
Before starting this step
Please understand that the CPU is the most fragile part of the build
Handle the CPU carefully
That poor CPU, man.
And then the, this one was actually one of her most viewed
videos before she broke it.
I swine my dad, and car the cashier told me that it was declined.
That made me cry.
Oh, God.
How does this even happen, man?
Like, I don't even know how this even happens.
It's absolutely the most disgusting thing to world.
And then this is Lena's most viewed video of all time, which obviously we got to we got to show up some curse pieces
Yeah, we know it was the queen of finding curse pieces
Oh, this one pain
I think a lot of people didn't realize what this one was and it's a Mario
I didn't know what the brown one was.
This one?
This? This is a...
I can't see anything.
Oh, is it the...
Yeah, Tom from MySpace.
Yeah, Tom from MySpace.
Oh, really?
Yeah, it was just immediately edited him into, like, an awful-looking apartment.
Yeah, it's Tom for MySpace.
Oh, no.
The motherboard, that, like, was...
It looks like it's covered in chocolate.
Oh, oh, this one.
Oh, I think they, yeah, they covered, like,
they covered a motherboard in, like, chocolate or, like, burnt it.
I don't know which one it is.
I think it's both.
But, yeah, kudos for all your hard work.
Yeah.
Thank you, Lena.
Amazing work, you appreciate.
Yeah, and, you know, you did a lot of amazing work,
but let everyone know how exactly did you end up working with us
on the NDXC social media team?
Yeah, so...
I had a connection with my partner, Miki.
He was on the podcast, too, right?
Early on.
Yeah, he's been on a couple times.
That wasn't with me, though, right?
I think that was with Dennis, right?
Oh, this was before your time.
Yeah.
So, yeah, he just, like...
I don't know how it happened.
Did he like just bring me up and he was like, yeah, I should be all of that.
Basically, so yeah, like Mickey, Mikey.
I call him Mikey, you call him Mickey.
So he works with us as a market on the marketing team.
And yeah, he just reached out to me one day and he's like, hey, do you need any help on the social media team?
Because I think I got someone that's, you know, that's funny and interested and could possibly like,
you know, help you and Mike out.
And I was like,
heck yeah,
you know,
we're always looking for,
for people to help.
So we just chatted with you.
And then instantly we were like,
yeah,
she's pretty funny.
Let's see what she could do.
I wasn't funny in the beginning, though.
That was,
that was a rough.
Hey,
that's fine.
That's fine.
You know what?
Would you be okay with me showing one of your first videos?
Yeah.
Okay,
let's see.
Where was one of your first videos?
Oh, my God.
Um, what is it?
Buy stuff on Amazon.
Oh, Amazon five.
Okay.
Oh, sorry, I'll lower the music for everyone.
Okay, I got to show.
This is, this is from October of 2022.
I just want to show off.
No, but you need a video.
Like, honestly, like, I thought this would, like, blow up because, like, a lot of people want to see, like, videos like that.
But no one really, like, no one, no one.
no one cared too much of it, which sucked, because I really thought it was going to do really well.
Well, it was my first post, so can't really expect much?
Yeah, exactly.
And, I mean, I actually had a question about that, but, you know, I'll say that for later.
We'll say that for later.
But I guess we're going to go for more of like a general thing.
How is your overall experience of working in social media?
Yeah, I mean, it was great.
I loved it. I've always loved social media and just like socializing on with people on the internet.
But I did like at some points I was like drained from being on social media all the time.
And it made me want to, it just like made me not focus on my own socials and I was like, oh dang.
But honestly overall I really did enjoy it and it was really fun, interact.
acting with everyone and just like the free PC comments and all silly DMs.
I loved it.
That's actually the next question you had was how many, if you can guess to me, how many people
a day do you see like free PC?
Like how many do you usually see?
That's like most of the comments on each video.
And like one, like if you'd be an individual asking for a free PC every single day,
or like every single hour
and so I just can't
like maybe
I don't even know
10,000
it's gotta be more than 10,000
at least
At least
At least
At least
Because whenever you go viral
You know you get like thousands of comments
And a good majority of that stuff
Has to be like
You know
It has to have something
Related to
Can I get something free?
Yeah it's true
Let me see
One of the most viewed videos
Yeah
There's there's a thousand and seven hundred comments on that video
And some of them can be like
30, 40, like can be like
2, 5, 6, 10,000 comments so
Yeah
Which video the, you know what I miss?
It was which one was the one was the one of your first virals
Which was the, uh, someone with the PC in the wall
Yes
Oh yeah, under the
Yeah, here, I'll show it real quick.
It's this video.
That was cool.
This guy's like, he's he literally in like a temperature controlled environment.
Like, so cool.
Like in the wall and he just pulls it back down.
Like it's so sick.
Like that's so cool.
That was actually your first viral video.
Yeah.
I mean, I don't really count it as mine because it wasn't something I created.
But it was very cool and like exciting to see.
that i could reach that a lot of millions of people but um so what was the the best part
about working in social media content creation it was really fun to come up with like the ideas
of like what makes gamers laugh um and it was just like it was nice to see all of the trends on
TikTok even though some of them were very questionable. It was just fun, fun overall.
All right, bonus question. What was the worst part about working in social media?
Um and why is it Mike? Yeah, that I was coming.
Oh my gosh. I don't know. What was the worst part? I guess sometimes it could be overwhelming.
especially with DMs like reading all the DMs and like you want to help everyone but you can't and there's just that pressure and it's just like oh well you're a company you you know you should have your stuff together but it can be hard sometimes and we really do our best that is one of the things that is really hard for me too is like we get so many people that you know they share like really sad stories with us oh yeah
And it's like if it were up to me, like I would give everyone that ask a free computer.
That's like definitely it's hard to tell people all the time, you know, but we do what we can.
So speaking of people bugging you, not bugging you, but asking you questions and whatnot.
Like what overall, like what do you think about the NZXT community and our social media followers?
I think surprisingly they're kind of wholesome, to be honest.
Like, they're not really troublesome as other brand.
Are you sure you're talking about our followers?
Are you sure you weren't logged into another company or something like that?
I think so.
No, I...
You obviously haven't spent much time in the NZ-Axti Discord server.
Yeah, I actually...
It's a joke.
Is it?
No, I think they're very wholesome overall.
And even though they do ask,
a lot of like free PC questions.
Um, they just like have good things to say about us all the time.
And that's very endearing. So thank you.
Yay.
Yeah, some some people I think can be mean or rude or disrespectful and
outright like just harassing you. But for the most part, I agree.
I think most people are,
are nice and wholesome and
just out there
out there having fun playing video games and whatnot
yeah and I love like seeing
everybody's like TC setup
and they tag us and it's so cool to see
everybody's creation
and I guess I guess going along with that
what was like some of your most like
memorable let's like a memorable
experience that you had
during your time here
in social media and
did how did that impact
you and the company okay so I remember I posted a video on TikTok showing my face
and someone asked like where's dad Mike or something maybe they don't like my face
compared to Mike because you've been there much longer and you know and I just
decided well I'm okay with
not showing my face. So why don't I just like focus more on like just memes rather than
showing my face. That's funny because the first time you showed your face, which I think was an
Amazon video. I did get some messages from people asking me like who the hell is this?
Yeah. And popped up out of nowhere. Yeah. It was like very unexpected, you know, like I don't think
anyone was expecting to see anyone besides Mike or me on social.
And it was just like, whoa, like, there's a girl here now?
Like, okay.
Oh, yeah, that was interesting.
That was cool.
Yeah.
And then I guess kind of moving on with that,
over your time of working was that you've been here for almost the year, basically,
a little less than a year.
What's something about social media that you think people,
people should know about that not many people do?
Well, I think that a lot of people do know it, but they just don't, maybe they just don't
register it, but social media is curated for your viewing.
Like, it is not all real.
And every step of the way, it's like, everybody puts effort into, every step of the way
into that content that is being created for you to watch you know so if you find yourself
taking something too seriously or something it's just it's just the internet yeah
i guess i guess another thing that people need to also learn is that like there is a there is
a person behind that you know thing you know and it's not the CEO either like a lot of
of people, I guess, you know, they're young, so they don't understand how businesses work, which I understand.
I get that.
But like, you know, you don't, you know, a lot of people DM be like, hey, is this Johnny?
And I go, the CEO, no, this is not the CEO of NCXT.
He does not handle the, the TikTok account.
And people get very confused about that.
They're like, what?
No way.
No.
No.
Just say yes.
say yes next time and I guess over over oh gosh how many posts have you made hundreds by this
point right at least 100 what was your favorite post you ever made it doesn't have to be like the
most like successful what was like the most fun video you ever made well I do like the CPU one
with Patrick Bateman that was really funny because it was honestly guys
It was something really last minute.
And I was like, oh, gosh, I don't know how this is going to perform.
It was last minute.
And then it did better than most of my posts.
And I'm glad it did.
I thought it was funny.
Yeah, and it was great.
And I guess going along with that, like, was your expectations for this one?
Was it like, you're like, oh, this is going to go, like, decent?
No.
just kind of throw something out there like what was your what was your thought
process of it well I was just like I thought it was gonna get like 9,000 views
but it just the views kept climbing as well as like other engagements and I was
like pleasantly surprised I think I don't I don't have it in front of me but I
think I think got a million likes on Instagram I get yeah it went super viral on
Instagram and even to this day every every morning when I open up Instagram and check our notifications
like there's still people there's still people commenting and sharing it and all that it's like
that was a really funny video I was you like to find it actually both of the Patrick Bateman
once did really well the the one with the the power strip being plugged into itself that
also got 2.7 million was it possible oh yeah two
$2.6 million yeah on Instagram that's crazy oh that was way off yeah 2.6 million it's crazy
oh also also Lena's uh actually Lena you did really you know that's something I guess because I
I you know I I don't think of Instagram too much now ever since like with meta and everything
and things changed and algorithm changed uh but your posted like amazing like I'll show I'll show some of
the stats you did like this one out of two
million one this is 538,000 111,2.6 million um let's see uh 100,000 112,000 like here you're
posted actually really really well on Instagram. Thank you. I mean we also have more
followers on Instagram than TikTok. Yeah, but back then I mean if you looked at some
of the post from the beginning, like, it was not good.
Like, we barely hit, like, 30K, like, 30 key views on some of these things.
Yeah, see, like, back to that, 25, 11K, stuff like that.
We weren't really doing that many videos on Instagram.
Yeah.
Before Lena.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, honestly, yeah, Leah, yours was probably one of the first, like, big ones that we've had.
Well done.
And you play that, that video of Lena on the boat,
dress up like a clown.
Which one?
Oh,
that was the worst.
Oh,
oh, this one.
Right there.
I'm gonna blow people's hairs off.
Hold on.
I was blowing people's ears up.
There you go.
That was made me laugh harder than anything.
It's time for blowing people's ears up real quick.
I actually really like that video.
I was like,
that's a good one.
I thought it was a great one,
but apparently.
It was hilarious.
People were like really mad.
They're like, this is so cringe.
Yeah.
This is, that's what makes it funny.
I guess going along with some hard, some, like, difficult things.
What was, like, the most difficult posts you've ever made?
That's a good question.
Like, just, like, in general or, like...
In general, like, hot top to make, or maybe, like, after you post, you're like, oh, I could have done this better, or something like that.
any any post in your mind that you're like you know that was that was that was hard to do versus like
the you know cap cut template say you can just like throw it like a photo in that's it um versus like
the ones you really had to work on which one was like the hardest well i guess the hardest and
yeah the hardest was like the okay sorry let me backtrack so i made the have build your own dream
and that one was pretty successful and I'm that's one of the ones I'm proud of and so I thought it would do well again but this time was a crack in and it just was not executed as well as the builder dream PC because that one was a carousel and you can swipe through oh wait which one was this one let me go back swipe through again compared to like the build your own crack in it was a video
And I wanted it to be video.
Gotcha.
It's got jips.
And I was like, oh, pick your own jiff or gif or whatever you guys say.
Just say jiff to trigger people.
Jif.
Technically the correct pronunciation for people to know.
Do you think you grew as a social media manager in your time here?
Like what differences have you seen from when you first started to now that you're leaving?
Yeah, I've grown so much.
Like, instead of just, like, creating a video and just throwing out there and hoping for the best,
I actually know what goes into making a successful video, like, with the context of, like, brand voice and, like, trends on TikTok slash Instagram, YouTube shorts even.
And so yeah, I've just been more data driven and I care more.
Yeah, speaking of data, that's a great.
I love that you said that because I think a lot of times, like if you don't work in social media and like, you know, you just post on social media because
you know, you share stuff with your friends, you kind of don't realize like the amount of time
and energy and effort that goes on behind the scenes for someone that actually has to work in social
and they have to like look at like the data to understand like what the heck they're doing or
if what they're doing is working and whatnot so like what numbers did you focus on and like how
did they guide your your decision making um I mainly focused on like audience reach views
Views, yeah. Which one got the most view? Was it the one that was shocking like something like cockroaches or what what succeeded and what failed?
And what do you what was the most surprising thing about your content, like the content you created, something that shocked you?
That I could actually be funny to other people and like
I never really played games before, so when I started with you guys, I had to learn about the gaming culture and games and stuff.
Yeah.
I think you remember that when we interviewed you, I asked you like, so, are you a gamer?
You're like, you said something like, no, but my nephew plays Fortnite and you like you tease him about it or something.
And I thought it was funny because I thought like the fact that you.
you know, tease your nephew for playing Fortnite.
I'm like, this one has potential.
There's something funny there.
So I know, like, looking at numbers and whatnot, it is,
it's not that it's boring, you know, but it is not as fun as exciting as,
you know, other things on social.
But what do you consider the most boring part about working in social media?
Surprisingly.
And why is it Mike again? Sorry.
Surprisingly, looking through trends.
Like, that can be very funny and surprising.
But sometimes you just don't want to look at someone like some cat wearing a banana costume or something.
You know?
Yep.
And it's so, that's true because it's also hard because every day there's something new.
Yeah.
And then you have to make the choice really fast.
You're like, do I want to make, do I want to spend the day trying to figure out how to put a banana costume on a cat?
Or should I move on with my life and, you know, literally.
Put something else up on social.
And then the next day, it's same thing.
You wake up in the morning and then like, now it's a cat wearing a monkey costume or something.
and make the exact same
decisions.
Or like loose girfs
walking in a line
to a beat.
Yeah.
Like how do these things
trend and become
popular?
Yeah.
And I guess
speaking of like
going popular and like
how does this work?
Do you have a funny story
or like a piece of content that you
like that
unexpectedly went viral?
Like, how did you like leverage it becoming viral?
How did you like leverage that momentum after that?
Funny enough, it was the curse PC photo one.
I did not expect that one to blow up as much as it did.
And I used that.
I applied that to other future posts by like, okay,
Why did they like seeing all these messed up PCs?
Because it was shocking.
It was PC gore.
People weren't expecting it.
It's like something to provoke something in people.
And so I really just tried to mess with people and like see,
just like get something out of them by like more curse PCs or just something outrageous.
more thermal paste
thermal paste
I think I think that that kind of like
pushed you into that direction
because I guess like for us
like we didn't have like a specific thing
like for me I kind of post anything
that's trending
it could be anything
but for you I think you gained like a little niche
which was absolutely
I mean there's a there's a Twitter account called
well it's now called messed up PCs
before it was called
F that PC's
So I think
Ivan and I
basically called you
like the
PC Gord
like queen
because all your videos
were like
what is this
you know
from the cockroach one
to this video
right here
also another one later
as well
that was
oh the
the one where the guy
was like
roasting cheese
and meat on
did extremely
well on
Instagram
it did do well
on Instagram
but TikTok
I thought it would do better on TikTok
It didn't
It did not do well on TikTok sadly
But then later another PC Gorthy
Which was the CPU
Patrick Bateman one
Being scraped off
Yeah I think after that
You're just speak that
Oh and then again
You also had another unsatisfying PC edition
One with 2.1 million views
Yeah
So I think that became your need
Yeah, I definitely did lean into that
Oh god, this looks awful
Like some of these are awful looking ones
Yeah, some of them are really disgusting
This one here with the with the beat
I don't even know what it is, beans
And like a crate looks awful
Oh, the beans cooler
I think that's insulation foam or something
That's right
Yeah, I think I think that just keep your thing
And I guess a specific niches, I guess that's another transition, is like, do you have any brands that you really like on, you know, any social media platforms that cater to that niche?
Um, like.
Any brands in general that you, any brands that you're like, yes, this, this one I love.
Um, let me think.
Um, I know, I definitely do follow some.
Um, I used to be obsessed with McDonald's brand.
Oh, with Grimmis?
Well, like, just like, I don't know.
I just like seeing their posts and like their witty comments and captions, and their posts are pretty funny too.
but there is another brand that I do
stock but I forgot which one it is
Dualingo
Do my gosh, yes, do a lingo
Oh my gosh, just Grub Daddy
That's the one
Ah, yes, classic
Grub Daddy is hilarious
Honestly, they cater to that niche very well
Which is unhinged
And I think that's what I kind of wanted us to kind of focus on
for a little bit during your time here,
which is,
let's just,
let's just get some, like,
reactions out of people.
Yeah.
You have the perfect name to be unhinged.
What's the name?
Scrub daddy.
That's, like, perfect.
I mean, that's, like,
go wild and social.
I've seen so many videos of, like,
things, like,
them using, like, spoons out of a scrub daddy thing,
and I'm just like,
well,
shit,
this is,
this is weird,
man.
So funny.
And they're kind of,
like,
agro.
Yeah.
Yeah, I'll show this one.
Happy Father's Day to myself, considering I'm everyone's daddy.
He's flipping people off.
That's a good one.
That's a great one.
That's a fantastic one.
Amazing marketing.
Yeah.
Honestly, I think that's what people also kind of, you know, think of when you think of, like, social.
I mean, we had people be like, why don't you just show off products?
like stop showing memes or having fun and social interacting with community just we want to sell things but in reality i think
doing these type of videos is the way to to sell and to like get your name out there like scrub daddy doesn't have to use their thing they can just use their product but then make it absolutely unhinged or duolingo
dualingo doolingo is a language app a freaking language app and now they do videos of them with duolipa and like going to their concert and everything
like that like how does that relate to language app no it's just going to that
niche yeah so what are you most proud of during your time here um that I
actually hit one million and above I was so like not skeptic but like I was like
can I actually do this like Mike has but can I
If I can, anyone can, man.
If I can do it, anyone can.
Don't think I'm like some mystical being.
It's just...
Mike Kim, the mystical being.
Yeah, it's just, you know.
What advice would you give to someone who is thinking about working in social media?
Do it. Go for it.
But make sure that your mental health is okay as well, because social media,
can get overwhelming and to be successful, I guess, just look at the data. Everything's there.
You just need to know how to look at it and know how to apply it.
The mental health tip is actually really good and I'm glad you said that because I think
for us folk who work on social, like it's very important to, you know, I'm not saying, you know, you gotta have like
you'd be like a monk or anything like that,
but you definitely have to unplug
and step away from social at times
because it could definitely get to you.
And, you know, when you open up social,
most of the stuff you see, like, if you're on there all day,
like if you're, because you're working in social,
most of the stuff you see is really negative.
And then there's certain times where
it can really get to you.
Like I know, like for Pride Month, for example,
people were telling us to kill ourselves
that we're going to hell, that we're evil, all this stuff.
And it got to us.
Like, in the middle of the day, I just messaged Mike,
and I was like, hey, man, like, let's just stop working today
because this is not good for our brains.
Like, just reading comment after comment, like, just,
that's like negative.
You know, it does get to you.
So I'm glad you said that because I think that's a very good tip.
Yeah.
I do have a few community questions that want to ask you.
but before I get to those, I just want to ask you,
what are you going to be doing now that you're not working on the NZC social media team?
Um.
And can you take Mike and me with you?
Please.
Save us.
Our beta.
Well, I'm going to work on myself, build my work reputation, just like freelancing right now,
and just the job market is so hard right now.
hard right now. Oh yeah. But just gotta keep going, you know. And I'm so glad to have had this
opportunity with such a reputable company and with you guys, Mike and Ivan, you guys have been
so great and have taught me so much. So thank you.
Well, the feeling is mutual. Trust me, we're, we enjoyed our time with you as well and
we're going to miss you very much. Same here.
All right, I got some community questions for you.
The first one is from Harley Hart.
They ask, what tips do you have for peeps that want to start making videos?
Um, get like a phone stand.
You don't even need like a fancy camera.
Just get a phone stand.
Find your niche.
What are you, what do you want to talk about?
What do you want to show people?
Also think about like potential brands that want to like work with you in the
future and who you want to be represented by and just start making content and be consistent.
That's a good one. There's so many things I could say.
I'm going to actually say the consistency part because that's another thing too when you work in social.
Like no matter what's going on in your personal life, in your work life, in the world,
you have to post. You just have to do something that day.
and it's like you have to get in the habit of just sticking with it and there's peaks and valleys ups and downs you know some days you post something and like no one gives a crap and the next day you post something and then like it goes viral and you yeah you have to experience that unless you do it like consistently right right it's a non-linear growth so yeah nervozu asked what are you going to miss most about nzxte um my
can I even oh oh you don't need a lie what are you at you miss no I'm gonna miss you guys
you guys are like so funny and so wholesome I appreciate it yeah thanks for
thanks for honestly like thanks for helping especially me out with videos because like uh being able
to have you and us like you and me basically just you know back to back like we can just uh go
like post videos every single day, which I was not doing before.
Because it was tough to like pump out videos when I first began.
And then once we've gone into this, what was it?
I can't imagine just having one person.
Yeah.
So that was, that was tough.
And especially because it was like my first time doing TikTok.
Like I didn't understand it at all.
I was like, whoa, this is weird.
But then once you and I started like doing it like every other day, like you would post one
and I'd post and bang, bam, bam, posting every day.
Like I got to that group of like, okay.
I got it now. I understand.
So honestly, you helped me a lot more than me helped you in reality because, like,
you basically kept me in rhythm versus like, oh, I just post whatever I can't, you know?
Now it's like I have to post every day.
Oh, well, thank you.
Of course.
And next question, were any of the posts inspired by someone else on the team?
Yeah, we Mike, Ivan, and I talked regularly, and we had like ideas that we shared to each other, so that was that.
And then I looked back at the old videos that NCXT had posted on their TikTok and like I used some of those videos to create the new videos.
So yeah, definitely.
Yeah, I think also, like, we, there's times where it's like, okay, I'll just post this now,
but sometimes we need inspiration.
And it's always awesome to have something like, hey, what do you think about this?
And then I'm going, I don't think you should do this one, try changing you up to this.
Or like, hey, I have an idea.
What do you think?
And they're like, yeah, I'm down for that.
That always, like, having that extra little bit of leverage is always, always, always like,
Need it for sure
All right last question for you Lena
The hardest one of all
What games do you play? Oh
This is a hard one
Animal Crossing that's a great which one which animal crossing? Oh, new horizons and the newest one? I?
Oh new horizons and the newest one? Yeah, it's new horizons. Yeah, I also play I also play
like just have you guys ever heard of the street fighter puzzle game oh puzzle fighter puzzle fighter
I love puzzle fighter heard of it and love it so much yeah um and I play so caliber just like
not really like online games I guess but just like street fighter and all those games
we're gonna have you play some puzzle fighter now that I know you play it oh no you're trapped now
All right, Mike, is your turn to jump in here with the rapid fire questions for Lena.
Go for it.
All righty.
So this is going to be some fun ones.
So basically, just think about first top, first thing on top of your head, go for it.
You can go back if you want, but most of these, you can just kind of just do whatever you want.
Or I guess we'll go along with the first question.
Who's your favorite villager?
And why is it rolled?
Why is it what?
Roald.
Rolled?
Is that how you say you say rolled?
I don't even know.
After saying it, it's kind of weird.
Weird to say it, the penguin, this dude.
Why is it this dude?
Um, I honestly don't know who's my favorite villager.
Oh, um, the sly fox that claims.
He's my cousin.
Fox?
Oh, oh, this guy.
Yeah, yeah.
The, the, the, the, the, the kind of, the scammy kind of person.
I, I get you.
I get you.
What is?
We'll go for it.
I'm sure your least favorite is Tomnook, right?
Because that guy's a crook.
Actually, I don't like Blathers.
You don't like who?
Blathers.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, I know.
I know Blathers.
He's just kind of annoying.
Yeah.
Just a little bit.
I mean, he's very dedicated, but, you know.
He likes his fish and random things you get.
actually he doesn't like insects he hates them oh right for god he doesn't like insects he likes i would
deliberately catch the insects i'm horrible i'm just like actually i i you know what i i kind of i kind of
want to agree with uh with paulini like tom nook is actually a good he's like he's a great uh he's a great
person like no interest you can pay off whatever you want you get a free house you just have to pay it off
You basically have to, like, be a slave to him for the rest of the game.
I mean, honestly, we're all, I mean, once you get a house, you're technically a slave to, you know, whatever you pay to.
He doesn't charge interest.
And you can pay off whenever you want.
You don't have to pay off.
If you don't want to pay off for one month, you don't have to do that.
You don't pay off for that week.
I'd rather know that crook anything.
Wait, so do you guys play Animal Crossing, too?
Yep, I play it during quarantine.
Yeah, I've been played in a minute, but yeah, I love Animal Crossing.
My favorite thing to do is like turn on Miki switch, turn on my switch, log into his Animal Crossing, and then like steal money from him.
I used to be very into inner crossing where I would check the Reddit and so be like, because you know, every day the price of your bells changes.
So like if you are trying to sell something for 100 bells, sometimes on another day it's selling for like three to 400.
And I would literally scour a sub-wet Reddit that would be like, hey, I'm selling for like,
like 600 bells come on over just drop me some bells after you sell all your stuff so you would
save up all your super valuable stuff fly to their stuff get their thing and then you just drop off
like 100 bells and use leave so it was so fun I love doing that and Animal Crossing is so wild
so fun and the dream worlds oh my gosh love the dream worlds okay next question what's the best
Gordon Ramsey show oh health kitchen
Of course the way he like grapes the grime off like the doors or just like goes just he's just nothing can
Nothing can just be Gordon Ramsey honestly you have a their favorite moment of Ramsey
Um
Yeah when he when he tells some oh okay this wasn't a part of Hell's kitchen
But it was um the competitive show where all the chefs were
there. Oh, iron, iron, something.
There were, like, a red and blue team, and they were, like, cooking at his restaurant.
Oh, uh, I know, I know exactly what you're talking about.
Yeah.
Oh, he was like, this is kind of inappropriate, but he was, like, talking to this woman, and I guess he triggered him, and he was like, oh, mm-hmm, mm-mm, F me, and he was just like,
it, not the sound effect.
It's way better once you watch the video, but I couldn't explain it.
Yeah, there it is Master Chef.
There you know, that's the one here thing you have.
Yeah, there were a lot of moments in there.
You say you like traveling, so what are, what is your favorite place you travel to?
Or if you can't choose, at least like the top two or top three.
Yeah, I actually, so I haven't really traveled like that much out of,
the state but currently I'm in Barbados and the people here are are so nice
overall and the waters are so clear and it's just like so nice to just drive on the
island and just see like the ocean and the boats and everything it's really
nice the heat is you know I could I could take like 70 maybe but it's like
90 and it's humid.
How are the mosquitoes?
Oh, I got like 40 bites on my body right now.
It looks like I have an illness.
Musties are the worst.
We're talking about, I mean, I'll show, and we can tell the audience,
when we were, before we were doing some sound checks,
we were talking about a mosquito burger?
Yeah, so in Africa, they have this thing called mosquito burgers,
and they just go out there and,
catch the mosquitoes and then they like mash it up and then they grill it and then they eat it
so nasty man I can't imagine what it tastes like what would a mosquito burger burger burger
burger taste like probably probably I mean I've had I think we have you have crickets
before of course my aunt jurfed them yeah delicious crickets are good but I feel like it just be
crunchy.
Miskito.
Yeah.
Wouldn't there be human blood
in a mosquito burger? Probably.
Probably.
Maybe when you
when you fry it, it boils off.
I don't know, man.
It probably is.
I don't know.
Yeah, that is asking for malaria.
Yeah.
Does malaria cook, like, is it like
salmonella where it cooks after a certain time?
I don't know.
I don't know.
But, like, what can you do
when you have, like,
I'm like limited amount of resources.
Oh, tastes like a penny, ill.
It tastes like a penny.
Alright, next one.
Best anime.
What's trigger some people. Best anime.
Come on. You can't do this to me.
Um, I don't know.
So far, for me, I'm gonna say Samurai Champ Flew.
Ooh, I respect that. I respect that.
that.
It's so good.
I respect that one. Okay.
Favorite go-to music
artist to listen to?
Um, the cure.
Oh, I love the cure.
The cure's so good.
They are. Every song of theirs
is a banger, for sure.
It's true.
What is your favorite
drink?
I'm
so basic. It's just
vodka and cranberry.
Waka crayons, okay. I respect that.
It's just so, like,
you know what you're getting,
and you won't be disappointed,
and you could just, like, chuck it.
I respect it.
I respect that.
Ivan, do you do stick with a...
What was the last thing you had a vodka crayon?
Me?
Yeah.
Probably never. I don't think I've ever in my life.
You never had a vodka crayon before?
No.
What was your, like, go-to?
like college straight then?
Just beer. I've always been a beer guy.
What's your favorite beer?
IPA beer.
Yeah, but I've never
like if there's fruit involved, like I don't
really, it's not even on my radar.
It's like, you know, cranberry. I'm like, no, thanks,
or anything that has fruit, it's just not my thing.
But it sounds good. It just never had one.
Yeah.
What is one thing you've always wanted to learn?
Oh, um, play, play the violin, honestly.
Or the piano, yeah.
Just playing an instrument I haven't played before, just many.
And I guess going along with that, you play guitar and ukulele, right?
Yeah, I do, I do.
What songs do you know?
What's your favorite songs to play, actually?
How about that?
Um, well, most recently I've been playing like lips of an angel by Hinder.
T-Rex, orms.
Okay.
So why, why that song of all?
Um, it's just really pretty acoustic.
I don't know.
I just randomly looked up the guitar tabs and then played it and I was like, wow, that sounds great.
How long have you been playing?
How long have I been playing?
Technically since sixth grade, but I'm not like playing every day.
So I'm like, I'm intermediate, but I'm not like riffing.
What got you into playing the instruments?
My brother-in-law, actually, he is from Columbia.
He had a Colombian guitar, and he just always was playing it and like,
played some like tunes and i was like whoa that is so cool and so i just like decided to just
take over his guitar and then yeah i was actually known in middle school as a musical one
and i performed so much in my middle school years and then after that i just like
stopped don't know why like it what is this what is something you think is a hundred percent
worth the money you spent?
An NCXTPC.
