But I just want to say, thank you all. for joining us and we have a very fun one um i think it was either two weeks ago we did this thing called pc uh tips which was really fun uh a lot of people we basically had people in our discord uh submit kind of pc tips into our google form and then we just chose a couple of the good ones and went over it and it actually was one of the biggest hits we've had so now we're going to actually go ahead and do our second one which is discord forms um or sorry discord forms uh websites uh let me go ahead and show you hello josh are you doing i'll go ahead and show you guys what we got in store for today so we have a lot of submissions we had i think we had like 500 i don't know 400 submissions so i had to go through

a lot of these uh but i wanted to just kind of show you guys some of the best websites that some of you guys submitted. So I broke these into some that are like pre-PC building. So like in the process of building or something around PCs itself. And then after that is going to be like general websites. I have more as well. I just made this little PowerPoint to kind of just go over just standard stuff. But if we have extra time, I'll go ahead and show it off.

to the first one so we're going to go ahead and do the PC building websites uh we honestly i should get a doggy can get a little webcam that just points directly to her but you know see how messy my room or my office really is but first one obviously for those that are here you got to pc part picker this one uh there's so many people that wrote this one but you know i i put this in the examples as well easiest thing if none of you have ever used pc party picker please utilize it it's awesome you can choose like cpu coolers everything in a and then you basically, you're able to, you know, find out if your, you know, PC is actually compatible. I actually have a lot of people be like, I want these three products and then they do it, and then they learn through PC Part Picker that, no, it doesn't fit.

Like you have the wrong socket for that motherboard for your CPU or the GPU won't fit in that case or something like that. This suggests better parts. It doesn't suggest better parts, but it will tell you if it's incompatible. So if you put it in like an H1 case, but then you have like a 4090, it'll tell you like this won't fit. Like the chance of this doing it will probably not fit. So definitely, this is just the starting one. There's a lot of other websites here for those that are into, you know, there will be more. But this is just kind of an overall consensus just so people know to use PC parts bigger.

Yeah, I think most cases are actually. Let me see, you can actually just double check. Let's just type in NZXT. Let's see. Is H1's in here? Let's see. Let's double check. Oh, the H1 still isn't in here.

Oh, we've put a submission for it to H1 in here. But, oh, you know what? It's in the PC builder, PC building sim. H1's in there. Sorry, my bad. I got confused with it, too. But yeah, you can see like, you know, you can see like H5 flow. You can go ahead and check the prices and everything.

you go ahead and add it and then you know if you put in a actually a 5 flow will fit the 4090 but you can check out some other stuff in it um i wish had more options for customization also the parameter yeah that is very true it is still not perfect this is something that is more of a baseline start than something that is like a hundred percent like this is for sure let's see uh when you select parts it only shows parts that are compatible with the previous fix Okay, okay, there you go. But yes, just want to let you know. This is just the basic.

You should not build a PC just purely on this. You should also do a lot of other research. But let's go ahead and go on to the second one. This is from Mondo W. Mondo W. I don't know how to pronounce your name. Sorry. But average finder.

Find the price of eBay goods at PC Parts so you can check out how much you can sell your used PC hardware for. Got $100 more for my old GPU so I could buy an NZEGP. see air rgb fans instead of f version non-rgb fans i actually didn't note about this one but this is actually really cool so let's say uh i want to sell my nintendo switch and then we can see the price of uh whenever it's done loading uh you'll be able to see here go we compiled an average of 187 hours all found on ebay so this is strictly just ebay not uh anything else but strictly on ebay you can see that this is also in uh pounds but on average it's around 145 somewhere at 80s are probably some really yeah oh this is like

just in the pounds thing but i assume eBay it capsates everything um and then you can see like the highest so those that are relatively new you'll probably get this selling for close to the original amount i think original mounts like 250 or something like that so you can kind of utilize this so if you guys are interested in buying your uh PC you guys are interested selling parts i think this will be better for parts because like PCs are kind of a combined thing this will be a lot easier to just do parts so if you want to sell your CPU your GPU your case your coolers this would probably be the best place to do it um and you can also you probably uh figure out like it when you are buying stuff as well probably find some uh cheaper stuff here lookups i 7 okay oh let's look it up uh

let's do oh sorry you can change the location that's why uh i 7 6700 K. Let's see it. Loading. I did this on USA. Let's see. We've filed a 211 items. Looks like you can get it on average for 67 and 90 cents. Lowest is around $40, but the highest is around $102. So depending on how new it is, you can probably go closer to the $100 mark. If it's older or use, probably closer to like $40, $50, depending on the condition. But yeah, this is a, this is an awesome site. I had to compile all 380s. I think tomatoes actually sent a couple of them, but this one was strictly for PC building. Those that do not use 9-9. Oh my God, you guys have to use Nine-night. Like this website is straight up one of the best websites you can ever have. Install and update all your programs at once. So you can literally, so based on the limitations of what you got,

but you can literally be like, I have Opera GX. I'm using Opera GX right now. Discord. I have Zoom. Spotify. You know, you do all these Steam. probably some sort of yeah here we go you got some imaging document security you can literally just you run nine night and you literally uh just update from that single one so you don't have to go to

every single one like you need to go and update your security from there or something like that it is it is literally one of the best things 100% i'll put the link in chat everyone needs to download this this is like one of the highest rated uh websites if i remember correctly um i had that bookmark to actually use it it's so helpful because like for me i have i mean you can let me see if i can't let me show my stuff oh yeah here you go there's my elgato but you see um oh you can't go scroll over here so i see you got my games here got gforce cam obiS i also have a bunch on my bottom here i got opera gx right here i have literally so many different types of stuff going on that I literally just use 9-9 and it just updates it all at once.

I made sure to, like, double check most of these just to make sure they're legit. Nine-night is straight up one of the, you can even look at it.

Reddit is probably one of the best places to check. You can literally find everyone. Sorry, Zelda. Actually, they hit her in the nose. Use this when built my current PC. Was so convenient not having download everything one by one. Exactly. Exactly.

Oh, and Tomatoes also sent Coltis Network. This is also Greatwood. And one of the number one things I tell people is not to skip out on your piece PSU because guess what? You could destroy your whole PC because you don't get a good enough PSU. So this one actually shows like some of the

things. So it's like when you're good a bit, you need a reliable power supply. You can actually show which one is like the higher end. So hey, look at this. N60, 1200 walk gold. And you can also see, I think Corsair has one right here. Also PSA. Don't use PSU industry.

Yes, yes, yes. So if you have a power supply, you cannot swap. If you lose that cable or breaks, you have to specifically try to get that manufacturer's PSU cable. Because if you swap it into something else, you can literally like either overcharge your PSU or you can literally just kill it. So be careful. What's a good PSU for a Ryzen 750800X and the 6700XT? I don't know the minimum requirements. If you look up minimum requirements for usually is your graphics card,

look up the minimum PSU for it and always go one or two steps above it. So if it recommends like 550 is the minimum, always do like 650, 750. I think now with a lot of the new GPUs, you're probably going to be hitting like 750, 850 kind of like area. That's already a good area to start with. but some, you know, may need like a thousand power, uh, thousand watts. Yeah, there it is. I mean, honestly, if you just get a thousand watt PSU, you're done.

You're good for the next couple years. So, 750, probably 800. Yeah, that's probably like a good estimated range, but it depends on every other stuff too. But this right here, this website, I'll play a Coltis Network. This one right here is a great way to check on your PSU, see what you got. I forgot, I think I have a thousand want in mine. it doesn't say here I don't say

I think I have like a thousand power watts supply in mine and I have 498. It works beautifully. But go ahead and check it. Hi, I said it. All right. Thank you. And then computer hope. This is great. Computer Hope is a website for free computer tips since 1998. Hey, that's when I was born.

Ranging from software to hardware for simply building your PC. So I'll go ahead and send this one in This is just like a great way to set up like oh this one is one of once I saw for me like I just started getting to more retro gaming so installing like this new like joystick here was always good um you can see like there's a ton of stuff here you can do extra amount color codes ntlDR is missing clear history simple very basic things this is basically like the google of PC tips fantastic website thank you tomatoes for saying this up this is awesome a great website great ones but if i choose one out of the three of these night night everyone should use nine night a hundred percent like yes extra entries uh do we have yeah yeah if you participate in a giveaway so you do like the follow the retweet everything uh oh actually let me go

Reddit because I never like just pure articles. I always like whatever. It's a Reddit thread because you could find literally everything.

Hello, happy Friday to you too, man. But from Bumpu 5, these three websites are, these three Reddit threads, subreddits are fantastic. Bowstations, PC gaming, and building PC sales. These are great for pre-building reddits, but yes just be careful not to lose too many brain cells yes 100%

Reddit is a great resource but also there are some awful subreddits out there I mean I know three up the top of my head that I'm not going to say out loud that I have scrounged through and regretted and I felt like I got a little bit

dumber as I left you guys see her right now just chew it on my thumb Is that is that is that is that is that is that is that is that is that is that it. Uh, but reddit great. I always see go through the battle stations one a lot because I love seeing people set ups to see if I get some inspiration. So here I'll race this up.

Moved into a bigger office, uh, move into bigger house with my own office. And obviously it's very wholesome. You know, you see people that like just started off. It's not like some crazy $8,000 set up like you just see like nice little monitors. You got your PC got a little iPad right here.

And you got his little, uh, I think these are for a flight simulator, so fantastic. You see some standard one just moved to my new house. Great wide-screen curb monitor. Awesome PC. Damn, that's a nice ass PC. Where can I prove it? Some people actually feel, give a lot of state, a lot of tips.

So let's see you the comments on this one. That's why I feel so at Lego, posters, books, plants, setups, books, plants to set up, even a few candles and lamps go to the long way. PNW, I'll throw the link in the description again. GX is just better. I like GX because of the, one, we worked with them, and they're hilarious on social. But two, I like it because you can control the RAM that you use. It's awesome. This is also a classic one. Speed test. You can go ahead and test your speed.

Oh, I actually showing. I may have a show depth. But you can actually go ahead and test your speed and you can actually figure out like where exactly, how are you doing? And then let's see. I'm at 300, 400 megabytes, 400 megabytes up download right now.

And I think my uploads close to like 1,500. Yeah, it looks like I'm around 15 megabyte upload. And this is on, and I, sadly, I wish I had Ethernet, but my Ethernet is in the living room. That's the issues because I'm in my office and the living room's all the way over there. So I physically couldn't install Ethernet, which sucks. But I still have really good Internet through Wi-Fi. So, yeah, I'm on Wi-Fi, too. I just wish that I had the ability to do Ethernets.

But great to test your speed. Awesome way to test it. Also, it's a great way to test if you're slower than usual. So get like a baseline. So like I'm around 3 to 400 download 15 to 20 upload. And that's like my usual range. If you need to, go ahead and like, if you're like, man, my thing's running slow. Test it with speed tests or like a bunch of one.

I know like Ucla or whatever it's called as a bunch one. You could test it and then figure out like, oh, I'm actually a lot slower. Contact an internet service provider and to figure out from there. Have you looked at PowerLine Adoptors? I heard Powerline adapters are slippery. Like, it can help, but it also can be... I mean, I also rent my apartment, so I don't want to do anything crazy in mine. How much RAND do you allow Opera GX use?

I just, I mean, I have 64 gigabyte, so I don't need to restrict it if I need to. But, I mean, you can see my RAM usage is at 27%. And all I have is just OBS and opera. But Opera is as really good. with uh if i need to lower it i need to but i have 64 gigabytes so you should pretty okay with it uh one gigabyte up and down fiber to the house jesus car how much how much do you pay a month for uh your wifi that's crazy um yeah that's that's absolutely insane one gigabyte you can probably download i can download a game and yeah i see yeah i see i do you can i'm saying same thing

isn't fiber like 80 dollars a month or more i pay 80 dollars a month for xfinity I guess that's the only thing I have here. What? I pay $80 for my, for Expedity right now. What the heck? I guess because I don't have fiber in my area, so that makes sense.

But that's, oh, I'm jealous. So technically cheaper and faster. Dang. Yeah, that's reaching dependent. That's what I was thinking,

because my area, my neighborhood does not have fiber. I get 866 down to my rider and then one gig by service, 18 up. Dang. Dang. Yo, y'all, y'all falling out.

Dang, I thought I was doing good. Okay, this one I want some, I see some people here have a little bit of experience. Some of D. Shen said 80, D. Shen 80 said a CPU benchmark. It's a great way to check on the comparisons to CPU models, see how the price is and how the performance is. However, I think from what I read from articles is that CPU benchmark and GPU benchmark, they're biased, aren't. day, like, don't they pay extra to, for like, if you have a certain CPU GPU for it to look better and they give you better recommendations, um, based on it. I'm pretty sure I read something about them being a little bit biased. I wanted to confirm with some of the people here in the chat, uh, but I, I, I originally use CPU and GPU benchmark all the time. Uh, but then I read that article that it basically that they're a little bit, uh, a little bit, uh, biased. I'll wait for the thing.

I recommend Oronics? What's that? I'll take a look at that. Oh, okay. Oh, is this Linux, though? Is this only Linux? CBUBchmark was super biased against AMD for a while. Used to be good, though. Yeah, okay. So that's what I thought.

It was very heavily skewed towards Intel. Thank you from yeah, I got two doors here. That's actually my laundry, that's my closet. But I remember reading something about CPU benchmark being a little bit biased. So I wanted to throw this one as like a cautionary thing of like don't just use one resource, use multiple resource. For hardware benchmarks, the OS is not particularly relevant. Okay, there you go. So keep an eye out for that.

A lot of people use CPU and GV benchmark as like the pinnacle of it. but from what I've read and it looks like some people in the comments as well it's not 100% right and now we're going to go into the fun one the general website so these are just like random websites not specifically about PC building but sometimes things that you just need in general for this one I think a lot of people will like if you guys do not have not used utilize these there you go Zelda yeah comfortable color name this web's from Merrick Merikifi This website is, can I throw on a website? Here, let me get rid of all these first. This website is awesome. So she for someone's colorblind is a great way to know what color I want. Then be able to find it by name. Want teal? Sure. Then you can browse tens, if not hundreds of other teal colors, clear teal, teal, gray, et cetera.

It even gives you a hexidental RGB values. So find your color. So you can check it by name or by hex. So it's honestly, this is an awesome website for lighting. 13 and a half. Completionist, so I think main story, like the single player one will be the eight and a half hours. And then the extra, the extra, you know, when he played with a co-op will be an extra five hours.

oh, and Balderscape. I like how Baldur Skates here because I'm actually really excited to play Baldur Skate. 100 hours. And that's probably like, that's probably like 100 hours per session too.

like you guys want to get into like if you're like Skyron, Fallout, a witcher, cyberpunk, thousand percent play with mods. Mods are awesome. And sometimes, I hate to admit it, sometimes the modding community is way better than the actual devs themselves. I mean, who was it that did that stuff? There's like a, there's a mod.

That was made like the new update basically killed the game. And then the modders really fixed it themselves faster than anything. Like, modders are crazy good. Yes, there you go. That's a great. That's a great way to start. Quality of Life mods on first gameplay. Those are great.

Skyrim, what I did was I added like a bunch of new dialogue.
