Welcome to episode 173 at the NCC podcast, the official podcast of the NCC community.
This podcast is recorded live every Friday at 10 a.m. Pacific Standard Time on the official NCCC Twitch.
It is available to stream on demand on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, and SoundCloud.
My name is Mike.
As me, as always, is Ivan.
How are you doing, Ivan?
Very good, Michael.
Happy to be here.
Shout out to everyone in the chat, especially to Paulini here, who tunes in every week.
And every week, she tells us, hi, Ivan and Michael.
So hi, Paulini.
Thank you for joining us.
Yeah, so today's going to be a very, very fun podcast.
We're doing an AMA.
We collected hundreds, and I am not exaggerating,
hundreds of questions from our Discord community
over at discord.gg slash NZXT.
Mike here narrowed them down to what he thought were the best questions.
So if your question didn't get answered, don't worry.
Everyone who submitted a question is entered into a raffle to win an awesome poochy plush doll, like the one right behind me here.
Yeah, and for those of you who are tuned in live, we also have another giveaway going on.
So you type exclamation giveaway in the chat.
You will be entered into a giveaway for a chance to win either a NZXT hoodie, NZXT T-shirt, or an NZXT sticker and Lanyard pack.
Yeah, without further ado, Michael, let's get into the AMA here.
Yeah, so first we're going to have the questions right up here
so that if anyone wants to know what we're talking about
or didn't pay attention to it, we have the questions up here
that I'll be having on a little PowerPoint.
And if you guys want to participate in the next one, please join us at
Discord.jcg.g.
We're doing it pretty much weekly.
So answer a question and have a chance to win our wonderful poochie guy.
So let's go on to the first one.
So first of all, from Crock 8-5-22, how are you doing?
I'm doing good, man.
It's the holiday season.
So right now, it's just basically, you know, getting ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas and whatnot.
And I'm going to be going on a little trip the week after Thanksgiving.
So just planning, getting all the stuff.
I need an order for that. So doing pretty good. Just excited to end the year on a on a positive note.
I like I like the question from Lao. What's who's cooking this year?
Who's cooking? Oh, so this year we're actually going to have a Thanksgiving feast with my wife's family tomorrow at my in-laws house.
my in-laws are going to make posole which is like a
it's like a traditional
Mexican soup with like
yeah so you can Google it P-O-Z-O-L-E is really good
and then next week on Thanksgiving Day
we are going to my parents' house and I don't know what my parents are going to cook
probably I'm guessing tamales but we'll see
we're not big turkey people to be honest I'm not a turkey person either
not a turkey person either
always been like a
like a ham person
or chicken
but I
on the other hand
am also doing very well
just worked out this morning
got some
I swapped out my case
to the 86 flow
so I'm super excited about that
and then I also
repping the ducks today
because the ducks are also doing well
so shout out to the Anaheim Ducks
sponsor us
All righty.
So we switched these questions
in the different sections.
Also shout to Viv.
That's in chat.
We switch these into different sections.
So we have questions that are NST related.
Ones about working at NCXT.
Things that are about just PCs in general.
And then we have like a general all around questions.
So I guess we'll go into the first one.
I even want to talk to the first one.
All right.
This is from Maple 38.
What's the inspiration?
behind Pucci.
All right, so this all started back in 2016.
We came out with this product called the Puck, which
is this thing here.
And it's a magnetic accessory, like stick to your case.
And then you wrap your cable around it,
and you hang your headphones on top of it.
And I always thought it was a, a
fun, goofy product. So when it came time to promote this thing on social and whatnot, I always
meme the heck out of it. Like I made like this funny commercial with hardware connects where
he says, ah, puck it. And, you know, there's a bunch of cables that are tangled on the floor.
And then the puck comes in and saves a day and whatnot. I even made this, this funny poster here
of a puck inspired by X-Files. You know, I want to believe.
leave. So like the puck was always kind of like a like a fun little thing that I always
just mess around with on social. And then in 2018, we started our Discord server and I started
giving out a bunch of like swag to the community. So I started giving out a bunch of stickers and
lanyards and the giveaway started getting bigger and bigger. You know, it became hoodies and
t-shirts and I really wanted to have like an awesome gift to give to the community and I
figured you know what we should do we should probably come up with like a little mascot
that we can make like a little doll out of or something and we I didn't really like know what
that mascot was going to be or anything but I figured you know what like the only thing I
can think of is like this puck like what can we do with this puck that would be fun
And then the idea was like, well, why don't we just make like a puck plush doll, you know, and put some like arms and feet on it?
And that could be our little mascot.
And the original name of Pucci, like the first thing that I thought of was Puckie.
It wasn't Pucci.
It was Puckie.
But what ended up happening was when I came on the Discord server to tell everyone about our new little mascot.
They asked me how to spell it, and I said, oh, it's spelled like Gucci, you know, P-U-C-C-U-I.
And the reason why I said that was because back then there was like on the Discord server,
I would hop on and people would say, how you do it, Ivan?
And I would say, oh, I'm Gucci, I'm Gucci.
And it just kind of like fell into, I don't know, it just kind of fell on our lap, really.
We just, you know, everyone liked Poochie, so we stuck with Pucci.
and that's the story of Pucci
I actually have a couple questions
related to Pucci
for the next one actually
so we'll go into the next one
from maybe Jari
have you thought about making
limited edition Pucci plushes
related to specific times of the summer
or specific times of the year
like summer, winter, Halloween
I have not thought about that
but I have thought about
making little
outfits that we can give
Oh, that'd be cute.
Yeah.
Put, like, a little toolbell around him with, like, the screwdriver, some, like, cable cutters.
That'd be kind of cute.
Like, little hats or shorts or something.
That'd be funny.
That'd be really funny.
And then, I guess the next question, oh, also revolving around what Pucci is based off the puck from Missoula,
will there be a return of the puck line?
Any special collaborative holiday versions, again.
people really want the puck and poochie really badly well the the puck never went away the puck is still
it's still here um so you can still get pucks i guess maybe i mean they're talking about like our
limited edition pucks like we've made the pan puck which is the pub g version we made a mass
effect puck which has like the n7 logo on there uh i don't know like there's really no no plan right now
for anything like that, but you can still get pucks.
There's, pucks are still out there.
I like, I like the idea of having Pucci on, uh, from Captain, Captain Nami,
I like the idea of Pucci on a surfboard.
Like you have a little thing for him to like ride on and stuff like that.
That'd be really cute.
Yeah, I would love that.
Or like little roller skates for Pucci.
That'd be so cute.
Next one, I haven't.
The next one is from Brad, 24, six, eight.
So why is the NZT logo purple?
All right, so around the same time, we launched the puck.
We were also going through a rebranding exercise in the company.
Back then, our logo, it was NZXT with a dot at the end.
And what ended up happening was it wasn't like an actual logo.
It was literally just like text.
It was a font, right?
I think it was aerial bold.
or something.
But the problem with that was because it was not a real logo,
it was just text.
The logo looked different on all our products.
You know, when we would stamp it on a case,
or we would stamp it on a cooler or fans or whatever.
Even when we wanted to make a t-shirt or stickers,
the logo was just not consistent because it was just text.
So and also apart from that, because it had that dot,
the logo always looked off-centered.
But it was always very, like, crooked and weird.
And we just decided, you know what?
We had to come up with the real logo.
And if we're going to do that, we might as well, you know,
pick some cool colors that we like.
So I just remember we had a lot of discussions.
Honestly, me and myself, I was not involved in a lot of this stuff,
but I was involved in some.
And I remember being asked, like, all right,
what are your favorite colors?
And I think I said pink,
pink, blue, and purple were like three of my favorite colors.
And they just asked a bunch of people in the company
like what our favorite colors were.
And then when it came time to redesign the logo,
we came up with what we have now,
which is, I guess the biggest difference
between the logo now and the old one is if you look at the Z,
it actually has like points on it.
And there's not a lot of font or texts that have that.
So, and apart from getting rid of the dot at the end, too.
So that's the biggest difference.
And we just thought, okay, well, most people in the company like purple that's just stick with purple.
And then it just stuck.
And also, purple, I think, is a color that, you know, just in general, gamers like.
So it was just a cool color.
Interesting.
I actually didn't know about the reason why the colors is because they just asked, like,
what colors do you guys like?
Oh, I don't know.
I don't know if that was the exact reason.
I just remember being asked like to to say like what my or being asked my favorite colors were and whatnot.
Yeah.
From Viv.
Can Poppy make churros?
I cannot make them.
I can definitely eat them.
There we go.
From from dot 9.09, how do you keep giving away or getting all this.
insane stuff to give away for free.
That's actually so cool, by the way.
How do you keep getting all this and say stuff to get away for free?
Well, I mean, when it comes down to like stickers and hoodies and coochies and all that stuff,
we literally just, you know, or we make it basically.
So it's like we have a little inventory of swag that's in a warehouse.
And every time we give it away, we don't take it out of the warehouse and ship it.
When it comes to like giving away products and PCs and all that,
it's usually when we launch a new product, we'll do giveaways.
So we'll just set aside some budget and run some giveaways and live from there.
But I'm glad people are liking the giveaways because we've definitely been doing a lot more lately,
especially on our Discord server.
So if you're not in the server, please join Discord.gg.g.
slash nzxt. And we're actually going to be
announcing a giveaway that's
on the server today for our new
Canvas 27F-165 monitor.
And it's going to be a very fun, fun challenge.
So head on over to the Discord server. It'll be worth it,
trust me. From Pauline, I get more work because of
giveaways, but that's worth it. Very true.
I mean,
they work, they get engagements,
but also gets people hyped about a product that we just launched
or giving like Pucci, you know, to give back to the community and stuff like that.
So it's always fun.
Oh, okay.
This was an interesting one.
I didn't know if we specifically have an answer for this since we don't handle it.
Yeah, this is a really hard question.
So this is from dry cup apple juice, I guess you say.
And they ask, what are the sponsorship requirements?
So like Mike said, we're not really the ones that are in charge of sponsorships.
But when people ask this question, my immediate reaction is always the same, where it's like, you know, you should be telling me the reason why we should sponsor you versus us telling you, like, you know, here's a list of metrics you have to hit or whatever so we can sponsor you.
but at the end of the day
I feel like it comes down to
you know being unique
being consistent with what you're doing
having a thriving
community of your own
you know
knowing about NZXT and our brand
our products and things like that all that stuff helps
so there's really no like
black or white answer to this
where it's just like you have to have
you know this many fall
and you have to stream this many days a week and you have to do this or that like that does not exist.
It really just comes down to like who you are and what you
have to offer for the marketing team to come back and be like, all right, this is the type of person you want to work with, right?
So I know like a lot of people in the community actually ask me for advice on how to get a job at ZXT and I'm not saying the sponsorship is the same thing, but I think
the same rule kind of applies with my thinking on this is,
and not just NCXT,
I just feel like any job,
any job you're applying to,
like my recommendation is always to try to solve a problem for that company.
So if you're looking for a sponsorship,
not just from NST,
from any company,
I would probably tell them,
you know,
what problem you can solve for them.
So maybe you notice something,
you know,
Maybe they can use more help on their Twitch channel or more help on their YouTube
or more help on their blog or something.
And you step in and you tell them, you know, hey, if you sponsor me, I can help with these
things and we'll get more people to know about your company and your business and all that.
So all that stuff I think stands out because not a lot of people do that.
A lot of the people that send us questions about sponsorship, it's usually the same thing
where it's like, hey, I want to get into streaming.
Can you sponsor me?
And like, that'll be their entire message.
Or, like, I want to be a pro-Fortnight player, but I can't afford a PC.
Can you sponsor me?
And it's just like, that, like, you know, it's really generic
and doesn't really give anyone a reason to care, to be honest.
So you kind of have to stand out a little bit.
Yep.
Yeah.
Yeah.
See, it's one of those things that I always say whenever someone asks, like, can I get a free PC?
It's like, why you sponsored these people all the time and they have ability to buy their own PCs?
Why do you sponsor them?
At the end of the day, we're a business.
So we send you a $2,000 PC pretty much we're expecting $2,000 back or more, right?
That's how business works.
You know, we don't just give a $2,000 PC to expect $100 in return.
You know, that's not how it works.
You don't have to have a specific requirement.
You don't have to be, you know, ninja or, you know, courage or tend to tap man levels.
But have a decent community, be cool.
And hopefully business works out.
And that's my best way of, like, bringing it down.
Because a lot of people ask, like, how do you get sponsored?
How do you get partnered?
It's really just you just do your best and, you know, sometimes you just stumble upon it.
That's it.
Yeah.
from the fowse what is your best selling product out of anything i have my idea of one but i think
you probably have seen and you actually know the real correct answer i think i'm fairly
confident in saying the greatest or the best selling product of all time for edin zexte is probably
the H5 case.
That's exactly what I was thinking.
The H500, H510s.
Before that, I would say it's the S340,
this one right here.
The reason is because they're both,
they're both really great for the price.
Like this case behind me here
came out in 2014 and it was $69 and it is 99% steel.
Like you're not going to find many cases.
that are 99% steel at that price point and yeah very easy to build into so I
would say the H5 and also like if you go on to like the the battle stations
subreddit or even like the PCMR subred in people post builds like there was a
time you know when when the H5 came out and the S240 came out it's probably like
every other PC you saw was in those cases it's a they're very very popular
Yeah, some people thought it was going to be one of the AIOs.
I was thinking it was the crack-in, but I don't think with how, like, with the other types of air coolers and other water cooler's out there,
I just know that the H-500 and H-510 literally was like, I mean, I think Gamer's Nexus or Linus did like the most affordable gaming PC back then before, you know, it was like 2017,
2018, 2019, or something like that.
And H510 was in there.
You know, a lot of people complain about the, you know, the airflow or, you know,
you can't install a 280 or 240 radiator on top.
But back then, H500, 8,500, I think, was just the, it was like the perfect beginner
case.
And honestly, like, I had an H5100 eye.
I had a red and black one.
And honestly, I would have kept that H500 eye if I didn't upgrade and get.
and get like random you know i get like a free case from work or something like that yeah i think it's
it's just it's it was the case to have because you know it's a standard box with a glass panel
and it just looked good it was simple yeah easy from grumpy titan what influence you guys to
start creating to flow nzzyxie cases yeah so for those that missed the podcast we had with our founder and
CEO Johnny last week.
He
answered this question actually about
the H-6 flow and it all comes down to just
the community telling us over and over and over and over and over again
what they want.
Like I see the comment here from Our Power in the comment,
why did the top panel get the 2x20?
Wasn't it said to not be needed by NZXT?
And yeah, the reason is because
just so many people kept asking for it.
So many people kept saying that NZT cases have horrible airflow
and people just kept saying it over and over again.
Then we finally said, you know what?
Like they want air, let's give them air.
And that's where we're at.
So it just basically comes down to, you know,
the community just repeatedly telling us over and over again what they want
and us listening and doing, giving them what they asked for.
Mm-hmm.
I think back then, you know, it transitioned.
You know, back then it started with like these like beige cases.
Then it went to these like crazy color cases.
Then it went to the box.
And now it's starting to go for this like either glass look or the panel or perforated
front or perforated panels and things about performance.
So I think that's kind of what pushed it towards it.
And I think I think also we were just.
tired of people going h nzc has no airflow and then now here i'll show you i show you guys my
temps right now i have the h uh of the h6 right now the h6 flow i just transitioned
and with obs and all my other programs running i'm at 29 degrees with um less like around 40
degrees on my cp u which is crazy awesome so i'm very happy that we we've lost this case it's
awesome from alabaster lekeen what's a product you
think more people would appreciate slash use if they knew it existed.
And we don't have to restrict it just to NCXC.
It could be like any product as well.
I would say the NST internal USB hub.
I was literally thinking that too.
Yeah.
It's the goat, man.
There's a lot of PCs up.
The reason why I think it's so cool is because it just gives you like a bunch of extra USB ports.
And for some reason or another, most motherboards don't have a lot of USB ports.
With NXT motherboards being the exception, believe it or not, we put a ton of USB ports on our motherboards.
Because a lot of motherboards, for some reason, don't.
But if you have a motherboard that doesn't have a lot of USB ports, this one little device that I think costs, what, $299 or whatever,
it gives you, what, five or six extra USB ports?
Uh, yes, I think six, if I'm correct.
Yeah.
Never know.
Four, four.
Thank you.
Four.
Is it four?
I think it's more.
Let's double check.
I can just double check the website.
I don't believe ripcourt jack here.
I believe, though.
One, two, three.
Yeah, it's four.
Four.
I was wrong.
You know, I was thinking, you know what I was thinking of the, the RGB hub or the fan hub.
That's what I was thinking of.
I was thinking of the three fan and the two and then the,
the
RGV on the side.
That's my bad.
I'll say you in that.
Yeah.
So,
yeah,
like if you have,
especially if you have
like a mini ITX build
or a build with like a smaller motherboard,
you know,
and then you want to install
RGB fans or an AIO,
things that require USB connections
and you're out of space.
This one little device will solve that problem
for you.
So,
I think that's probably the one product.
I think more people would appreciate it if they knew it existed
because it's also like a very, very boring product.
I mean, it's not exciting, right?
It's just like, oh, it's a little thing that you plug into your PC or whatever.
But it's a cool little gadget.
I was actually going to say the same thing for NCXT.
I was going to say to USB Hub because for someone like me that has like a bunch of
RGB fans and
Crackin and all these things.
Having that ability to just plug in
some extra stuff is super
helpful. And yeah,
PNW says that the fact that's magnetic is
also really helpful because you can just slap it on the side
of the case. You don't have to like deal
with like figuring out where to put it
or putting you in the bottom and stretching the cables out.
You just slap it on wherever it's best.
And then the other non-N-ZXT
I was going to say is an ergonic chair.
I think a lot of people don't try to go
for like the gaming chairs or something like
that, I think you just need a standard office ergonometer that has back support.
That's all you need.
Because if you're, like for me, like, I'm sitting at my desk for pretty much since I
come back from the gym.
So, like, from my 8 a.m.
to like 5.
And then if I want to play some games after, I'm literally in this chair for almost 12
hours.
It's super helpful to have a very comfortable chair.
So that's something that I think people should also invest in.
Have you got this one?
Yeah, from D-Cen-80, what's your favorite manufacturer of PC products other than NZT?
I have a few.
To be completely 100% honest and transparent, I think every PC company has good and bad products.
There's products out there that I see that, I'm like, oh, that's really cool.
There's other things I see where I don't like it.
But I don't know.
I also feel like, and I've said this before on the podcast,
like pizza parts are like pizza toppings where they're all good.
It's just everyone has different taste.
So, you know, some people like pineapple and some people like pepperoni, whatever.
But they're all good.
I'm trying to think of one.
I guess I really like the Razor laptops.
That's a good one
That's a good fool
Like I've been looking at gaming laptops recently
And I'm like man they put like
A lot of awesome specs in their laptops
And they also look cool
Very sleek you know
Very
Very
Very
minimal looking to which I like
Yeah so I think I mean
You can name any company
I can probably tell you a product that I like from them
There's a lot of good
PC parts out there
Yeah, I think for an actual PC part, I would do Naktua, because I love Nauqua fans.
They're fantastic.
Those fans are awesome.
It's so good.
And they're so, I don't know why, I love the Brown.
Everyone hates the Brown.
I love the Brown, too.
But for peripherals, I'm a huge Logitech person.
I love their mice.
Not the biggest fan of the keyboards, however, but I love their mice.
Like the G502, the G7, I love their mice.
Like that, they're probably one of my favorite ones all the whole time.
So.
A glorious keyboard.
Oh, glorious is a good one, too.
Oh, glorious is a good one too.
Yeah.
I wanted to shout out some other, you know, PC companies because, you know, they're also awesome as well.
So I want to shout them out.
From Gimel, Fannie 40, what's the reason not having, I think I wanted to ask you about this,
because I know you have the greats about the naming.
Let's think about not having a stream named model.
instead of 86, the newest one, which doesn't match with the number order with the others.
So, me personally, I hate the naming convention of letter number.
The reason we do it is because back in time, honestly, we did have a meaning for the letter.
So before we went with the letter number naming scheme, our case is,
were they had names like The Guardian, Phantom, Apollo, Lexa, things like that, right?
But then when we tried to make them into a more of a series, we went with H and S, where H
back in, at one point, stood for a hush, which was like the cases that were optimized for being
quiet, you know, and the original hush cases, the original H series, had,
down dampening panel on the back.
And then the S, which is like S340 behind me,
stood for source.
And those were like the, not cheap,
but like cheaper in terms of price cases,
like the entry level type of cases.
So when this case came out in 2014,
you know, the S340, we had the S340 and the H440,
where the H440 was 12999.
99 and then the S340 was 6999.
More features than the more expensive one, whatever.
Fast forward to now, where we're at now,
you know, like 10 years later or whatever.
Now we don't have S, we don't, or H, we just have H.
And the reason is because when you look at a lot of companies that make,
not just computer parts, but, you know,
any like having headsets and cars even there's always like a lot of options you know like it's like you'll go on a website and then you'll click on computer cases and you'll see like 50 cases and they all have you know names that don't mean anything you know like this is the excel 4 625 and then the next one's like the z3 4 5 whatever so our whole philosophy was we wanted to make it simple so we want instead of having a bunch of
different random letters and numbers.
Let's just pick one.
All right, we're going to stick with H
because everyone knows the H series.
And then we're going to just give them one number
from small to big.
And we're only going to have cases that are available
in small, medium, and large.
We're not going to have a bunch of different sizes
and options and numbers and whatnot.
So the first one was the H1.
which is a mini-ATX case.
And then it was, or maybe it was the H-7, one of those.
But then the H-7, which was like our ATX,
then the H-5, which is a compact ATX.
Then the H-9, which is a dual chamber ATX.
And for the H-6, I think the reason it's in between,
between the seven and the five,
even though it is a dual chamber,
so you would think it would probably fit
between the seven and the nine,
is because like the H5, it's also compact and affordable.
You know, it's not like a higher end case like the H9.
In terms of price and features too,
you can put more hardware in the H9.
So I don't think it really falls in between
H3 to be honest. I feel like an H3 would probably be a micro ATX.
We don't have an H2. We have an H210. I think an H2 would also be like a mini ITX.
So to me, H3 would be more like a micro ATX more than anything. We used to have an H400,
which was a micro ATX. We currently don't make any micro ATX cases, though.
So yeah, that's the reason.
Wow, I love that thing.
And I also wanted to go into, like, the other aspect of, like, the crackens and stuff like that.
Like, you know, you wanted, like, the NCC crackin.
And then what did you want after that?
The N6T, I remember you wanted to name it something.
Like, mythological, right?
It was named after mythological things.
Yeah, so, I mean, I just love the...
I love having like just fun names like, you know, the puck and and the Kraken and things like that.
So I would much rather prefer those names versus letter numbers.
I think like when we were going to launch our air coolers, the T-120, I wanted it to be like a mythical air creature, like the way the Cracken is a mythical one.
water creature.
But those naming decisions are not up to me.
I'm just the mailman around here.
But I just, I don't know.
Like, I think there's pros and cons to both, you know.
Like I think, you know, T-120, you know, it's like, oh, it's like a 120-millimeter
fan.
But if it would have called it, I don't know, Phoenix or something.
Like, it doesn't really explain, like, what the product can do or whatever.
I think there's pros and cons to both approaches.
You just got to pick one and roll with it, I think.
And then some, Pauline and chat just goes,
I love learning NZXE's history every time I watch.
And then Vib says, I've been to historian.
I mean, you've been here since basically the beginning.
So you would have.
Not just the beginning, but I have witnessed a lot of things.
And then just the last question about NZXT from,
dynamond, diamond, diamond, dynamoned.
If there's one older NCC case design,
you could bring back and recreate as a modern case design,
what would it be and why?
And I know yours.
Do you know mine?
Is it the Manta?
Damn, you do know mine.
Yeah, there you go.
Yeah, yeah, see, Laura Arnold's a new too.
Yeah, I would love to have a modern take on the Manta.
I still think that's the greatest case we ever designed.
it'd be awesome to do it again.
I love it.
I'll show the people what the Manta
look like for those that don't know.
Super cool case.
I loved the little front part on it.
Mine, I personally would love
if we brought back like a cool case design,
like the S340, the Hyperbeast.
I would love if we re-released one of those.
My friend had one of them.
And he was just like,
this is by far one of my favorite cases of all time.
We shouldn't.
Oh, yeah.
You know what?
We really should remake classic cases.
That would be really fun, honestly.
It would be cool, too, like, to, um,
to see, like, newer phantoms and guardians and things like that, too.
Oh, I want to, for a Vib, I want to know what happened to the audio and the video.
You had to add your own sound effects.
Oh, when I did the unboxing.
Uh, so basically, when, when I do the unboxing, there's a lot of,
lot of background noise.
So I actually, and if you ever
check back on the other unboxings I've done,
I did that post edit.
So I would film myself unboxing it.
Then I would go into my closet and try to recreate
the sound effects because there's a lot of background noise.
Like my fridge is running.
I have an AC going all times.
Like I come from the,
from my PC.
So it's really bad in audio.
So I had to recreate it all in my closet.
But this one,
I was thinking,
I don't want to have to go through the box into the thing.
So I thought, you know what?
It'll be more fun.
And I think it'll be a lot more exciting if I did my own sound effects.
And a lot of people sent me DMs going like, why are sound effects really good?
Because, well, I mean, I would literally be recreating sound effects for hours, trying to make sure that the cut sounds right, the opening, the foam turning off.
So I legit know how, like, like, what I'll do is.
I would listen to the video,
like the real video,
me putting the phone off.
And then I would make that sound.
I would make that sound.
And then I would make it doing it again.
So I just kind of knew how to do it.
But honestly,
I think I'm going to make that my thing
because I do not.
It takes me hours to go through an unboxing video.
Because the unboxing takes like 10 minutes,
but the post edit takes hours to do.
It's annoying to do too.
Anything with video takes forever.
in this podcast we get we only do it once a week and it's like an all-day thing you know because
more for you that that mean to be honest because you're the one that's putting together the
the outlines and prepping the obs stuff and testing all the audio the video then after you record this
thing all morning then you spend time editing and getting clips and scheduling the post and whatnot
it's like uh anytime there's video involved it just takes a it takes a long time like if you have an
idea for like a video it could literally take you like 10 minutes or it could take you like three
hours uh one of the videos one of the videos that i made um it was the the guy doing like the dubstep
thing he like did like this like weird music to dub step i uh i spent like multiple straight
days working on it um and it was probably my favorite video i've ever done we post it and the guy in the
video gets convicted of like some like horrendous crime so people who are commenting like hey
this guy just got like this why are you posting something about this so after like four days
of full work do listening to the same sound like the song for like multiple days like on end looping
tracking all that stuff i had to delete it and we can never use it again that was heart wrenching
to me um but sometimes that's how it goes but then sometimes the most popular videos take two minutes to do
Our most popular among this video was about Among Us, and it took me five minutes on like a random holiday.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You never know.
All right.
Next one, we got, we got some pretty easy ones working at NZXT from Exit Tim.
How do you become part of NZXT as a career?
Or we'll ask, how did we start?
I did that quite pretences.
How did we start at NXT?
Okay.
Well, I think the way you get started is in your career.
You know, I can't really speak for all careers because there's a bunch of different things that, you know, you can do at a company.
Like sometimes people will ask me, you know, like, how do I get started working in the PC gaming industry?
But it's like there's no answer to that because you can literally do.
do anything. You can be an accountant, you can be a social media manager, you can be a PC
builder, you can be a sales guy, whatever. There's so many different ways to get into, you know,
a company or industry. But for me personally, the way it all started for me is actually a really
weird coincidence. I just, I was literally like, I worked for a company.
called New Egg that was selling a bunch of of computer parts and just fell in love with the S340
and I went to go buy it and a buddy of mine was applying at NZXT at the time and no it just kind of like
fell on fell on my lap more than anything it was like a just like the stars aligned I guess you
can say at that moment not not like a crazy interesting story to be honest it was just kind of like
oh, like this opportunity here, I'm going to, I'm going to hop on.
But your story is actually probably better than mine.
No, mine's actually kind of like the same thing.
It's like, I just kind of fell on time on.
I was working.
I worked at a little IT desk at my college, you know, simple part-time job, make some
money.
I could do homework there.
And I needed to apply for an internship.
And what the issue is that a lot of like accounting people have their internships like
straight off the bat.
Like, you know, they go to the big four.
And it's like, they're pretty much set.
a lot of marketing people and managing people like me,
we have to struggle for like three months
and hope that we get an internship
during our like junior,
before we hit junior year.
So I was struggling.
I was scared.
And I stumbled upon,
I was just looking up like random marketing jobs.
And I found one on LinkedIn.
And it was NXC.
I'm like, oh, I have a case from them.
Yeah.
I love gaming.
I applied for it.
And then Ivan basically like interview me.
And one of the main things he liked was that I was a mascot
in college because now I'm like all right this this kid's weird enough to do mascot he's weird enough
to do social so I randomly ended up at here as an intern in 2019 um did a bunch of stuff we did the
pop up I was part of I was helping out with the Discord doing the Instagram and and then I took a
full-time job after now we're here now we're here no I'm your intern yep uh and then
And from Hilarion, Hilarion, do you have a special experience of story that shows how strong the N16 community is and how it affects the company?
Yeah, I mean, I actually have a lot of stories.
I think for me, the coolest thing working in community is like I've met a lot of people in real life that are customers here.
and I get to like hear their stories and learn more about them and become friends.
And like I've invited them to our office and giving them a tour, taking them up to lunch and, you know, deck them out with a bunch of NZXT gear and whatnot.
And it's just cool.
Like to me, I love that connection with our customer because, you know, we we definitely obviously want to make money because we're a business.
You know, we want to, we want to, like, succeed and whatnot.
But at the end of the day, I mean, we're a gaming company.
We're gamers.
We want to make cool stuff for gamers.
And every time we meet a gamer that is, you know, that we can, you know, have a positive impact on and things like that.
It's always fun.
So I've gotten, I have, like, I probably pull some out.
Like, I've gotten letters from kids that drew their dream PC, you know, like, they'll draw, like,
they'll draw like a PC, they'll send me a letter, like in the mail, like a actual, you know,
not an email, like they'll put it in a mailbox and they'll draw like a computer and they'll be like,
this is my dream setup and they'll say like 4090, you know, Cracken, a Cracken Elite,
you know, H6 Flow and things like that. And it's just, yeah, I love the, I love, I love them
when people do stuff like that because it just shows that,
you know, we're connecting with them and, and, yeah, it just feels, it feels good.
It's, I think, and the way it impacts the company is because, you know, we pass that all along, like,
the reason I have a folder of all that stuff is because when we were, when we moved it to this office here,
like one of the plans before the pandemic hit was we were going to have, like, a whole wall just full of, like, letters that we got from people telling, like, and drawing.
and things like that.
So I have them all saying,
we haven't put him up
just because as we were going to do that,
we literally, like, you know,
we're told you can't come to the office anymore.
So that project was put on pause,
but, you know,
hopefully one day we can, we can do that.
Yeah.
I, uh,
mine was very funny.
I was, um,
I was at a concert.
Uh, you know,
we're just viving out.
We're on the floor.
We're having good time.
And then the concert ends.
And some,
I'm like walking by,
I'm not wearing anything NXT related, by the way.
I'm not wearing anything NXC related.
Some guy comes up, goes, are you the guy on TikTok?
I go, what?
I go, yeah.
And he takes a picture with me, and he's like, yeah, I follow you.
And I was like the weirdest thing of being recognized public because I didn't really show my face super much on the TikTok.
And it was just really funny to just like someone comes up to me.
And he's like, I appreciate the TikToks.
I actually laughed at some of these things.
I'm like, wow, I actually made someone laugh.
That's great because I thought it was cringe.
but that was really fun.
That reminds you one time
I was in the waiting room of the doctor's office
and I was wearing an NZXT hoodie
and there was a kid right in front of me
that was watching Ninja play Fortnite on his phone
and at the time we were sponsoring Ninja
and I just remember sitting in front of him
and he just kept looking up at me and my hoodie
and the phone like this.
He's like, wait, that logo
was the same.
Yeah, he was seeing the same logo.
And like, I wonder what he was thinking.
He never said anything to me because they called me in right away.
But I wish I would have met something to me that kid.
I think another fun, fun story like this,
back in the old office, one day someone came knocking on the door.
Like, literally just walked up to the door and started knocking.
And Johnny, our founder and CEO, he answered the door.
because it was really early.
It was like seven in the morning
and he was always like one of the first people there.
And he's like, hey, can I help you?
And he's like, yeah, is this N-C-X-T?
And he goes, yeah.
He's like, oh, cool, I was just driving by, I saw the sign.
I have your cases.
I love your stuff.
And Johnny's like, all right, cool, thank you.
I just like pick up.
That was a funny story.
People just driving by and seeing the sign
and just pulling up.
I love that.
And then from Pauline,
she had a question about this but I had
this saved up
what is from a solo
dolo solo dolo
what is your most
exciting moment working at NCXT
I think it was probably
the very first product launch
I ever worked on which was Manta
which is probably why I love it so much too
like we went all out with this thing
like we
we rent so we
we announced it at CES, Las Vegas, and we wanted to make like a big splash, you know, so
the car, I mean, the case was inspired by like sports car design, so we, our big idea was like,
we're going to wrap this case in a car wrap, and we're going to unveil it at a racetrack
that we've run out, and we're going to invite all these tech tubers, like Linus tech tips
and people like that to come over.
And when we avail the case, we're going to get in race cars and drive around the track with them.
And that's what we did.
It was like super cool.
Like, you know, got to go to Vegas and meet all these tech tubers and show them the case.
And everyone thought, you know, it was a cool, again case and things like that.
So that was just an exciting time in time for me.
Exciting moment.
And yeah, I think that's probably, I think, my number one moment that I'll always remember.
Is there footage of this somewhere?
Yeah, I'm sure it's up there.
If you could find it, I would love to make, that's sick.
I didn't realize we went all out like that.
That's sick.
Yeah.
I think my most exciting moment for working at S-XT was probably when we hit, when we did the most famous,
the most viewed video on our thing.
Because after Dennis left, I was kind of in charge of the TikToks and I've been, you know,
You know, I get, I did pretty decent, but, you know, got maybe, you know, a 30k view video, maybe a 50k, sometimes 100K.
And I'd be like, wow, we're doing really well.
You know, sometimes we break like a million views and we're like, wow, that's crazy.
But I guess it never, I guess it still hasn't really hit me because I got kind of like, you know, I got kind of used to getting views.
But we hit 25 million views on this video and it kept going.
it was like it was like at 15 then 18 and then it hit like 21 it kept going and I was just like
this is absolutely insane I've never seen anything like this and it was just it was just very
funny because I think I said it before this is a post I made in five minutes um there's like
videos that I did beforehand it took me days hours to make barely hit 50k this video that I made
on a holiday randomly at five minutes became the most viewed video of all time.
And it literally like the combined videos beforehand were like three million, two million and like 1.8 million.
This had 25 million alone.
And that was probably one of my most exciting moments.
It's just I keep seeing that number grow.
And I'm still not used to it because it's like that's insane.
If you go to other profiles, like having something above like five million is huge.
This thing is 25, and I have no idea how it happened.
It just stumbled upon it.
That was awesome.
Got lucky.
Yeah, got lucky.
I mean, Rosari, people had nostalgia of Among Us during quarantine,
so it just worked out.
So I was very happy with that.
Of all things, that had to be among us.
Of all things, it was Among Us.
All right, so we're going to go through these really quickly.
So we'll go through these really quickly, Evan.
So let's go through these since we have a couple questions we've got to go through.
from the A Duckling 1829
What got you into computers?
What got me into computers
was
When I was a kid
I was addicted to video games
On my
On my, it all started with my Atari
And then my Nintendo
Then my Super Nintendo and my Sega
Oh no my Sega
And then I remember I wanted a Super Nintendo
Really bad
Whenever that came out
What was that like?
1992 or three around there.
And I begged and begged and begged my parents to give me one.
And they were like, we're not going to buy you this thing because we're sick and tired of you just playing video games all day.
So rather than buying you another video game machine, we're going to buy you a computer so you can learn something useful.
And they bought me like this super expensive, not just for me, but from the whole family.
It was a 386 DX-250 PC, which cost like $5,000, which is ridiculous.
And the first thing I did was I walked to the bookstore because I remember seeing a magazine there about computer games.
And I remember I had a friend in school who would tell me, like, he was playing video games on his PC.
and he would tell me about this game called Doom that he was playing and I was like man I got I wanted to check that game out so
basically I I realized I could play games on my on this PC and I realized I needed to like upgrade some some RAM on it so I did some research and my friend helped me and
we opened up the PC and and installed RAM and started playing Doom and yeah that's how I got into PC gaming it was because my parents try to
tried to get me away from gaming
they turned me into a PC game
but hey that that became
your career then you know
yeah I'm same thing
gaming was my was my gateway
into it uh
I had a
an N60 no I had a
SNES
GameCube
then it went to full handheld
so it was all Nintendo so it was the
Wii the DS DS DS
DS light 3DS
um
then I got
an Xbox and that really got me into gaming from there Xbox 360
then I got a PS4 and then actually no I got Xbox 360
PC later then I got a PS4 but then I just I never went back to
consoles after that once I got the PC I got this like power spec
PC not good awful it was like uh I don't know I know how to 760 which
760 was good, but other parts were really bad.
It was like an I-3 and something like that.
But it worked.
I was able to run games on it.
And then eventually I got an N-60 case with some other parts in it.
And then I got a, when I interned, I got a full PC.
That lasts me for a while.
And then I got upgraded a couple years later to this beast of an I-9-3-900K and a 40-90.
And then ever since that, I'm just using it from Klaus.
for the in initiated.
How?
Oh, yeah.
Thank you, Laurent.
Thank you so much.
Oh, yeah.
I have the panel.
It sucks because I,
the panel is only,
so for those that I don't know,
when it gave me the PCD,
Laurent like went around and had people sign it.
It was super awesome.
However, ever since I upgraded to the H6 flow,
I can't use the H5 flow panel.
So I just have it in my closet right now.
And I'm just like, I don't know what to do.
So I'm going to,
figure it out.
Or in the trash, it's worthless.
No, it's beautiful. I love it.
No, I love.
Frame it.
Oh, you can probably frame it.
That'd be kind of fun.
But from clouds,
pretty uninitiated.
How would you assess the difficulty
of assembling a PC?
So if it's like anything in life,
if you don't know what you're doing,
it's going to be hard,
especially the first time that you do it.
But building a PC is
not, not that it's not hard.
It's that you just have to know
what you're doing before you do it.
And once you do it once, then you realize, you know, that's actually not that complicated.
And then the more you do it, you know, the easier it gets, just like everything in life.
So thankfully, we live in a time where it's super easy to get information and to learn whatever
it is you want to learn about.
So if you don't know anything about building PCs and, you know, you go on YouTube and you just
search how to build a PC, you're going to get bombarded with a bunch of videos and guides and
tutorials that they show you how to do just that. There's also a lot of communities out there,
like, you know, like the build, there's a bunch of subreddits like the builded PC subreddit,
even the PCMR subreddit, also Discord servers, you know, like the NZXT Discord server,
people go in there ask questions all the time. And you just, you just,
have to kind of plan out what it is you're going to do and you know work the steps in your head
first and and then go for it and it's not it's not hard you just have to do a little bit of research
before jumping in because you know i like me like for example you can't just say like oh i want to
build a car and then you're just going to order go online order a bunch of parts to build a car
and then know that you're going to you know put these parts together and build a car and
and build a car. You're going to have to do a lot of research on how to assemble a car, right?
So with the PC, you just have to do your research, figure out what it is you need, how to do it,
how everything works. And then once you figure that out, and then like, cool, now you just put it
together. And it's pretty easy. I always tell people it's, it's a lot like, like, uh, Legos,
except it's cheaper. Yep. I love that. Um, yeah, I mean, you know the thing on the head.
just do your research.
It's a lot easier than you expect.
There are parts that are difficult,
but most of it is super easy because like,
like Legos,
a part only fits into this part.
This part can only plug into this part.
It's very easy.
You just do it.
My biggest advice,
one of the questions was like,
what's the best piece of advice for like building a PC for the first time?
My best thing is looking at,
one, researching,
but two,
Linus Tech Tips has a first person view of like a
POV version of building a PC
which I think is probably the most helpful because a lot of people
have it like on a camera or facing
in my opinion having that first person view is so
much different than seeing it into thing so
that's that's my advice
from Kinney Bear this is actually I'm actually curious to hear
your thoughts on this from Kenny Bear is it better to
save up for a higher-end GPU or buy a budget one in
day and age.
It all depends what you're going to be doing with it.
Mm-hmm.
You know, if
if you're like me
and you're playing
you're playing games that are not
like graphic intensive,
then there's no point in saving up for
a higher-end GPU and
literally just get by with a budget one.
But if you're playing,
if you're always like, you know,
let's say you're the type of gamer
that always wants to play
the latest AAA games, right?
And every year,
you're playing, like, those top three games.
So, like, what was it this year?
Baldur's Gate 3.
What else?
I guess Diablo.
And what else?
It's another one, Mike.
I mean, Spider-Man,
Spider-Man, Baldersgate,
Starfield, all those things.
Starfield, there you go.
Like, if you want to play, like,
let's say you, you know,
you're that type of gamer that plays these games.
you probably are better off
saving up for a higher-end GPU
because it's going to
run these games better
and last you a lot longer.
That's my personal opinion.
However,
the other opinion on this thing is
you don't always have to play everything at the highest settings.
You know, you can adjust your settings on a lower end GPU and still get great performance.
You know, you don't always need to have the latest GPU or even CPU to play the latest games.
You can definitely tweak the settings to your advantage and save some money.
Yeah, but they're expensive, so I don't know.
It's a hard question to answer, to be honest, because it's not easy to save up a lot of money for a GPU,
that and you may not always need it right so it just really depends what you're going to use it for
yep i uh i and i agree with philenex i agree there are many variables to be answered
to answer the question but i think the main point is you don't need the best thing out there
because in rowdy like you don't need the most expensive thing because the most expensive may not
fit your needs um so i think that's like a good way to go about it's just what are you trying to
to do. It depends. It's always a great question.
Like, should I upgrade this? Should I wear this?
Should I play this? What games
can I play? It's always depends. It depends
of what your budget is and everything.
All right. Got some
general questions and it will finish up with that.
And it will go
to announcements and then the secret code word for everyone
here. Yeah.
So I actually, I
love these questions because it can kind of go
into it. From Blue Amcat,
Ivan, what is your game of
the decade?
Oh, the decade.
Yeah, yeah.
It's not giving it a year, the decade.
Probably GTA 5, even though I haven't played it, like, in five years.
I mean, the first five years it was out.
I mean, I played it a lot.
I think I told you I played it.
I beat it like three different times.
I kind of tuned out once the online stuff started getting big and started having kids and whatnot.
But that game, I put a lot of hours.
into also I would say tied for
tied for first is probably CS go
like I put a lot of hours in that game too
and a lot of people still still grinding both of those games
what about you it's tough
because we'll say Minecraft Mike
Minecraft easy one because I have a lot of
different types of games I like I my favorite multiplayer game of all times
called Hunt Showdown which shout out
those at Crytech.
Awesome game.
Super awesome game.
You ever want you to get into it.
But, you know,
there's a lot of different games that,
like, I loved back then.
I mean, Warframe
was by far my most played game
of all time.
I had, like,
700, 800, hours in it.
I literally played, do all-nighters with that.
It's probably one of my favorite.
For a single-player game, though,
I think Ori.
The Blind Forest was probably my first
real edition into like
platform
single player games
and the music, the art, the gameplay,
everything is
just beautiful. The next one would probably be
Amori. If you haven't played Amori, it's a beautiful,
beautiful game. Dark at times
but it's very, as a beautiful
storyline of
multiple endings, everything like that.
Gameplay's awesome. So
I shout out those games, definitely.
And then along the same way of gaming from Simulisko,
what is the first game you finish?
Or what is a game, we don't have to do the first,
what is the game you finished that gave you the empty feeling in the end?
You know that feeling when something truly awesome slash touching comes to an end.
Probably when I beat Minecraft.
I'm kidding.
I don't know, to be honest,
I don't think I've ever had this feeling of emptiness
when I finished a game
it's always been
a good feeling like
of accomplishment or even like
happiness I never really feel empty to be honest
I'm trying to think I don't think I've ever felt empty
I know I know
like one game in particular though
Super Mario Brothers 3
that's the game that's the game that I've never beaten
and I've tried my hardest to beat that game
for most of my life
and whenever I die at the end
even though I don't beat it I do feel like really sad
and like I don't know if empty is the right word
but I am always upset when I die at the end of the game
it's just super hard
yeah that's the one with the raccoon flight one right
the power-up.
I love that game.
Yeah, it's tough, though.
Look up the last level of that.
It's, like, ridiculously hard.
Oh, it's the one where he, like, bounces and he has to make him go into the hole, right?
That's the one?
The last level, there's just, like, a bunch of flying bullets and those fireballs, sticks,
and it's just really, really hard.
I remember that.
My game that I definitely had, like, an empty feeling was when I finished was Red Dead Red Dead
Redemption and Red Red Red Red Red Red Red Red and Reception 2.
I played a lot of different games
that were like single player,
but a lot of them never had like a real end to it.
You know, like Skyrim doesn't really have an end to it.
Fall Out doesn't really have an end to it.
You know, you can finish the missions, but it continues.
It was Red Day Redemption.
Like once that happens, like the ending, I'm not going to spoil it,
but like that left me so like, oh my God,
both games.
So if you guys ever have a chance to play Red Dev Red Dev Red Dev Red Dev Redemption
1 and 2, you will play it for hours.
It's amazing game.
That also would be one addition to the game in a decade.
Would be Red Devresolution 2.
I definitely would throw that in there as well.
All right.
Alligator Fighter, which gaming experience left a special impression on you?
I think the very first time,
I played Street Fighter in an arcade.
I think that was the first time I realized
that this could be competitive.
That it could be serious
and that people can get mad
and like you can talk smack
and you can kind of brag a little bit
about your skills and whatnot.
Like that did not exist before I ever play
the Street Fighter in the arcade.
You know, before that it was literally
just me playing in my room
by myself
and then one day
I rode my back to the arcade
and I saw people playing a street fighter
and slamming quarters down there
waiting their turn and whatnot
and I was like, whoa, this is different.
Like, you know,
and then people, you know,
we're getting in each other's faces
like doing hadukins and things like that
and just going
bonkers on each other.
I think that's probably,
that definitely left a special impression
on me because it did make me realize that there's more to gaming than just gaming by yourself.
I think mine would be my first all-nighter with Warframe.
I think that left that pressure on me of like, oh my God, I can actually like sink my time,
like my full time into this game.
literally I
played it
it was like a Friday night
I came back from practice
and I literally stayed up to like
five in the morning
and I was like
oh my God did I just do that
and I continued doing all-nighters
with that game
because it was just such a fun game
I like grinding games
like you know like Destiny
Warframe stuff like that
where you grind for better stuff
and that just left the pressure
on me because then I learned like
oh my God I really like gaming
and then it's been my passion ever since.
All right, I got two more questions.
All right.
From Tupolu, how do you stay motivated?
Hmm.
For me, the way I say motivated,
not just with work, but in my personal life,
is I always try to find meaning in whatever it is I'm doing,
especially for the things that I don't want to do.
So, for example, you know, like waking up early so I can work out and things like that, it's hard, right?
But then I get motivated to do it because I'm like, all right, I got to be in somewhat decent shape to chase my kids around.
Like if I don't wake up right now and exercise, then I'm just going to let myself go and then I'm not going to be able to play with them.
basically. So that's one motivation. Or like if my wife gives me like a list of chores for the day,
like on a Sunday where all I want to do is sit on the couch and eat pizza and watch football,
you know, I realize, well, my motivation for that is going to be, you know, I want to make my
wife happy. I want my family to be happy. You know, I'll bring my one of my daughters to tag along
help me so I can teach her how to do these things.
Trying to find some sort of meaning out of stuff, I think, is what helps me stay motivated
because, to be honest, there's a lot of things, not just me, but I'm sure everyone has to do
every single day that they don't want to do.
And if you're not, I guess if, at least for me, if I don't feel like I'm, I have any
sort of reason behind of doing that, then it is really hard to do it.
Like why should I do these things if I don't care about it?
So I think finding, finding meaning for me is what helps me stay motivated.
I, I was actually going to say something along the same lines.
So, like, work, I had a huge rut a while ago, or a little while ago, actually, of, like, I just could not be motivated to, like, make videos.
You know, grinding on an edit for, like, couple hours was so taxing in my head.
A great way for me is that I wrote things down.
So I have a whole whiteboard with like a list of things to they do.
Like I have like lists.
And that helps me like crossing stuff out is always a great way.
But with life, like what I even said, I think it's just you just, it's that snowball effect.
Like this morning, like I was really did not want to go to the gym.
I was like, I do not want.
I want to sleep in.
But I had to bring Zelda and my dog outside and I was already up.
And I'm like, it's only an hour of my life.
Let's just go and do it.
I went to the gym, came back, and I'm like, I'm so happy that I did it.
So I think it's just like you do it once.
Just keep using that excuse of like, I did it once.
Let's keep doing it.
I did it three times.
Let's do it again.
Let's do it for the week.
Let's do it for the month.
Let's do it for the year.
You know, you just keep going.
And eventually it just becomes like ingrained in your head.
Like if I don't work out for more than three days, if I don't work out in three days,
I feel sick.
Like, my body physically feels ill.
So I have to go to the gym to, like, work out to make myself feel better.
But I think you just got to start.
There's just the easiest ones to just start.
And then once you're there, just try your best.
And for the final question.
The first step's always the hardest.
And then for the final question, from Iron Will,
what plans do you have for the future?
This was, I think, for NCXT, but obviously we can't really do anything with the questions.
But I'm going to give it to us.
what are your plans for the future either?
Okay.
Well, I guess I could give like a work and personal related answer for this.
So work-wise, my plan is to do more stuff with the community.
You know, I was like the working in community for a while and then I stopped for a while and now I'm back.
and my plan is to do more stuff with the community going forward,
especially next year, you know, start doing more fun stuff.
That's like just quick, like foreseeable future right in front of me.
Personal life, I mean, my plan, honestly, is to just watch my kids grow up, man.
Like, I didn't realize how much I would love being a dad, but it is cool.
to see, like, a human kind of evolve.
And, like, I feel like I'm almost, like, reliving my childhood again in so many different ways.
Like, a lot of things, too, like, I couldn't experience as a child.
You know, I'm trying to give those experiences to my kids because, you know, I didn't have them and I wanted them.
And, like, if I could do them, you know, like, I'm going to try to give it to them, you know.
So yeah, just for my personal life, I just want to, I really want to be a present dad and just be the best, the best poppy I can be.
I love that.
And I guess, yeah, I'll do a work in a life one.
I guess work.
My goal is I want to hit one million on TikTok.
We're at 500K, so we're doing really well so far.
So I'm hoping to hit one million soon.
And then also like for work,
I want to experience doing some new form stuff.
I love making my memes.
Don't get me wrong.
But I want to experience like making some like fun stuff.
Like I want to have a green screen.
I want to use this green screen more and make some funny content with it.
So I want I want to do some something new, you know,
and then make that like my brand, you know.
I haven't found like my brand yet, but...
Like TM?
Yeah.
So I just, we'll see what happens.
But for my personal future is, I mean, I'm really excited for this winter.
I just got my first ever season pass for snowboarding.
So I'm really excited to, because I love snowboarding, but I want to go like twice a winter because it's expensive.
But I double down, bought a season pass.
So I'm going to go like every week.
So I'm really excited about that.
And then in the future, I guess for life is, I just want to stay healthy.
And then I have a dog now.
I have a little doggy right here.
This is my little puppy.
This is Zelda.
She's the sweetest little puppy of all time.
And then I kind of like, she's trapped on my thing.
Oh, yeah.
There he goes.
There we go.
You'll drop out my cord.
But I guess my goal with Zelda is just, you know, just seeing her grow.
And she's becoming a lot smarter and her body's filling in.
And like, you know, like before she'd the puppy, I had to bring her out every, like, hour to go use the restroom.
Now I only have to bring her out every four hours.
And it's really awesome to see, like, her physically grow and play with other dogs and travel more.
And then we'll see how life takes us.
Miao.
Down, Zelda, down.
Oh, sorry, what did you say?
I was telling Sally to calm down.
And yeah, that's it.
So that's all the questions.
So I guess we'll go into the announcements,
and then we'll give this code work for everyone here.
So just letting people know,
we just launched the 8-6 flow and the 8-6-flow RGB.
I actually just upgraded to the case.
It's awesome.
It's panoramic glass, dual chambered,
an angled front corner for GPU cooling,
super awesome.
Like, this case, honestly, is doing really well.
I have my attempts here.
And look at this thing.
I'll show here.
I'm at 30 degrees for my GPU, which is never a thing.
I'm usually at, like, 40 degrees for my GPU.
And then my CPU, which is running OBS, is at 38 degrees,
which would usually be at, like, 40 to 50.
So, awesome.
Super awesome case.
We also just launched our new,
27F
165 monitor.
This is 27 inch
180p IPS display
with 165 fresh rate.
And I'm showing it off.
Fresh rate and
one millisecond response time.
Great for anyone that wants to switch
from 160 hertz.
It's an amazing thing.
Yes, it is a monitor.
It is a monitor.
So if you want to switch to
from 60 hertz to
165 hertz,
totally worth it.
Try it out.
Oh, we have an early Black Friday deal going on.
We have a early sale.
We have discounts on monitors, parts, PCs.
The three that I want to mention, we have free shipping on all PCs during the holiday season.
But please be patient with the PCs because obviously with a big influx of PCs coming in, it will take a little bit.
So please be patient with your PCs.
You are getting out a discount.
So that's awesome.
nice.
We have a couple,
some of them have like
$4 to $500 off player 3 PCs.
Oh, sorry, we have a couple hundred dollars off
of player 3 PCs,
which is our good ones.
But if you get a player 2 or player 2 Prime PC,
you get a free 27 Q monitor.
So you get a free 27 inch monitor for free.
So if you are looking to get one, it's awesome.
Yeah, so real quick, I know
I'm jumping off the script here,
but I do want to briefly mention
that this is the Black Friday pre-sale.
So these offers are probably going to stop around Black Friday,
and then we're going to come out with other offers,
which we have not announced yet.
And there's the other thing I want to mention is that
there's also offers going on with our retailers, right?
So if you want to shop at, like I see a comment here,
you know, I can't buy from you because you don't ship to Poland,
you know, check Amazon,
Go to nzxy.com slash retailers.
There's a bunch of offers going on outside of the nzzyx store.
So we're not the only store in town.
Yep, yep, yep.
Are we still doing the daily drops along with the early Black Friday,
or we stop the daily drops too?
No daily drops now.
We stopped those and launched the early Black Friday sale.
And then Black Friday is a week from today.
Oh, my God.
Thanksgiving next week.
Oh, my God.
I completely forgot.
But, wow.
Oh, and the third one is, we actually have an, our, an H6 Flow PC now, which I was not expecting.
I was expecting it to take a while because the H9 took a little bit.
There's multiple PCs that use the H6 Flow.
There's even a Player 3 AMD edition with the H6 Flow.
