We got like, last time I checked, it was like 500 people. Yeah. It was like, yeah. Freezing. By there go, 442 submissions there. We're probably not going to get through all. of them, but we will do our best, right, Mike? Yes, sir.

All right. And no DJ Logic. We cannot rate our co-worker setups because they're all pretty bad, to be honest. Especially, especially his. All right. So for today, I want to kind of give a, we had a lot of different types of things. We had people with just the PCs. We had people with like insane setups.

we have people that had like decent setups you know like standard ones uh and then i have some weird mystery ones that i'll give you guys the opportunity to rate later uh but i kind of wanted to show like what we started off with so we have stage one which is like a standard setup you know he's got everything you need but there could be something more you know you could be cleaner there could be uh additional monitor there could be something for the aesthetic right stage two basically from what my opinion is there's zero like there's zero things that you really need to change there would be things that we would want personally like i would like three monitors set of two or something like that but most of these stage two setups you should be used as inspiration so when

we go to stage two you guys will be like whoa you'll see it you'll see it when you understand it and then i have two mystery ones that we'll go into later i'll give you guys the opportunity you to rate first. But first, Ivan, do you want to start off on a stage one or stage two? I think we should ask the chat, Mike. What does the chat say? Yeah, so we got stage one or stage two? You guys want like the super like woe ones or do you guys want to see ones that we can we can work on? We can we can give advice for stage zero. Thank you sage. Stage two stage zero stage two. I personally like like the Mimi type of setups to be I have those in the mystery ones. We'll go over those later.

Don't worry. We got those later. All right. So it looks like we got some stage two. So we'll go over the cool stage twos. Let's pull out this first one that I have. Oh, yeah, here we go. Go ahead and look at it.

So this is from Tim, Timilino time, I think, T time. So this is a new build with the H6 flow. Cooling is amazing as well. So it looks like he's using a crack in the lead as well. well. This is what I mean by stage two. These are like, I look at this and I'm like, I really, there's like very minor, minor things that I would change.

Yes, he's simple clean. I mean, this is definitely a 10-10 setup. There's not much you can knock from it. Although, me personally, I do not like curve monitors. Like, you know, I actually have one at the office where I, um, I, I record the podcast, but I don't like it. I just have it because it's funny a monitor I have. I don't know.

How do you feel about curve monitors, Mike? I have, I have two right now. I have the canvas, the 32Q that I have. That's my gaming one. And I have like a standard MSI one that I stole from the office or you gave me a long time ago. That was just like my work monitor. And then I have a standard flat.

I don't mind either. Like, in my opinion, especially when you're sitting at the desk you really don't notice it i know there's people out there now be like no no no you you totally know i'm like i'm gonna be honest you know you don't really i don't really notice a difference between it i feel like i need to try a uh larger curve monitor because i think mine might be too small it's like it's like it's like the same one you have that uh ms i think is like i think is 27 i think or even I think it might be 24. It's like really small.

Oh, wait. Oh, it is 24. Yeah, it is 24. Yeah, it's small. It's too small, and I don't like it, but I use it. I like what, uh... That's the only thing I would change from the setup, honestly, is that... What was he say?

That's the only thing I would personally change from this setup. Everything else is pretty on point. I think the cable management could be done a little bit better. I see there just some, like, cables a little bit. but that's not like the end of the world for me. Like having a couple cables is like, you don't need a cableless setup. You know,

you don't need a wireless mouse and a wireless, you know, keyboard just because you have a cable or two. But I'm looking at the setup. If you tell me this is your setup, like I'm giving you to set up for free, I would happily take it. I also would say maybe moving the keyboard away a little bit,

giving yourself a little bit more mouse room, I would take that a little bit, but very little things. You know what? I think people should take inspiration from this is that the lighting, they have like LED bars going around to give it like really cool lighting and the RGB also matches the lighting. I would give this a good 9 out of 10.

Cables and maybe a second monitor because I'm a two monitor or three monitor person. 9 out of 10 for me, but this is awesome start for now. And since we did a stage two, let's go ahead and do a stage one. Something that we can look at and maybe improve. groove upon. So let's go ahead and this setup. So it's a really good setup. It's a triple monitor setup.

It's got mic, cables, and everything. Every time, every time you see one of those fans, you know, that's a real gamer. That's like, it's about to get sweaty in that room.

Oh, yeah. This room probably gets really hot. And then, don't you remember, when do you go to the fan, go, wah,

it sounds really funny. Oh, I did a whole time. Yeah. I mean, there's this setup, there's nothing inherently wrong with it, but it could definitely use a lot of improvement right off the bat. That PC has to go on the right-hand side because it's a right-handers world. I don't care what left-handers have to say. A PC on the left basically just hides everything that's inside the computer. And I'm pretty sure, I don't know what case that is, but I'm pretty sure it has a giant window there on the left, and you can't see anything.

thing. So that's number one. And then number two is this person needs a much bigger desk. This desk is about to you know, have things fall off it. Like it's really small. So just those two things I think would change this a lot.

Yeah, I agree. Like I think another thing that you can add is putting these monitors on like a monitor stand like once that like clip onto the side of a desk. I did not I didn't think that was like needed

like having monitor stands ever since I have a monitor stand I did not realize how much extra like room you get going from taking over this I can put like now my stream deck my little figurines there instead of having these big old

like stands here also will help because then it clears up room because then this will go over here So clip on here. And then you'll have all this extra room. Now you can move your keyboard here. Your mouse has all this extra room. 100%.

Triple monitor stands change my brain chemistry. Yes. I have three monitor stands. I think when I move, I will get one big triple monitor stand because then it just stays right there in the center and then I don't have to deal with all the other stuff. Really nice.

Makes for 20 a thing. There's only one item for the given. I actually even forgot to mention another giveaway, which is our wallpaper contest in the Discord server. Maniclots won a lot. lot of things recently. They've won a lot of art contests for sure. I mean, they're so talented so it's okay. All right. So what do you, would you rate this, Ivan? Five, I say five

is like good basic setup. Like, you know, you got the PC, it worked. What do you count this as? What do I rate it as? Like, I think I would give this I would give this six out of ten.

I would agree. There's things that can be worked on but it's still I mean again you got a triple monitor set up that's huge having three monitors I want four maybe even five monitors down the road three monitors is it

changes you like any two monitors if you have the ability to do two monitors it will change your life yeah oh breaking news we have the chinchilla in the chat as they see chinchilla NPNW too four is crazy I want

I want five monitors, guys. I want all these. All right. Do you guys want to do a one or a stage one or stage two? You guys want inspiration or do you guys want things that we can work on or give advice for? We're not bounce. Let's just bounce back and forth. We can just bounce back and forth.

Let me pull up Google Docs, of course, it's being weird. Actually, some of these stage ones could be stage two. Oh, here we go. This will be a good stage one that we can work on.

So this is from Dylan Dubs. This is from Dillon Dubs right here. And you can see in the bottom right, you can see my beautiful NZCPC. I remember seeing this on Twitter. And I'm glad you picked this one because I have a lot to say about it. All right.

So it's not that I'm anti-PC on the floor. Like, I'm really not. Like, I feel like if you absolutely must, right, like if your desk is just not big enough and you've got to put it on the floor, just put it on the floor. But if you're going to, if you have carpet, you're not put your PC on the floor. For a couple of reasons, number one, it's not the best for airflow.

And then number two, it's also going to just bring a lot of dust into your, into your case there. So that's what I don't like about it. I feel like if you're going to put your PC on the floor and you have a carpet, you got to have it elevated. And there's different ways to do that. There's desks now. I know Secret Labs has desks where you can just mount the top of your PC to the bottom of the desk.

So it's, you know, off the ground. Then you can also just get like a piece of cardboard or wood or even like put some wheels on your, on the bottom of your case. So it's not on the floor. like that. That alone would make this a pretty good setup. Although I do think, yes,

the desk is too small. But besides that, I mean, just get that PC off the carpet. I think, so I think, again, I'm going to bring up the monitor stands.

If you got the monitor stands, you would have all this extra room right here to utilize. So that you can push it all back and then basically it just becomes, like one here and one kind of like at an angle. That I think would be a huge kind of jump. I agree. PC on the floor.

It's fine if you don't have carpet. But because you have carpet, put something underneath it. Or you could, what I've seen a lot of people do is they would get like a shelf that they can put like, you know, like a, like a, you know, like a drawer set up. And then they put their PC on top of that. So then it's elevated. it's not on the floor and you know you utilize the space a little more rather than just getting like a weird like elevating it somehow yep um it's like we always say mike it's called a desktop not a desk bottom there you go so i think this is fine i think this is a good setup great start but give yourself some more room allow yourself to get some more room what would you rate this i will give this one a seven out of ten How much? A 7 out of 10.

I would give it a 6.5. I think it's on the right path. Just a little bit of changes will make this go a long way. Yeah, short file cabin it works. Yeah, especially with wheels. Oh, I actually realize that putting your PC on like a file cabinet that has wheels so that when you need to access it, you don't have to like squeeze around or like move to PC. You just literally pull it out.

That's smart. I love that. I love that a lot, actually. good why not just why not just build a PC inside the filing cabinet well actually Ivan that is a beautiful

segue I don't think you even realize that there's I'm going to show you guys a stage two you guys will go wait what so I want I want you to look at this stage two this is from Sean Stover beautiful segue

talking about building a PC into the filing cabin why don't you just build the PC into the desk that's impressive this is really I saw this and I went

what that is pretty cool look you can even see it like right here there's like an even there's like a little like monitor here

so you can see I think you can see like temps and everything like that or I don't even know what this is for this looks like this looks like it's like

inside of a dentist office or something It does, doesn't it? Yeah. Like, you can see the GPU. I see the power supply. I think this is the cooler right here. Yeah, that's awesome. Yeah.

Even though as awesome as this is, though, like for the PC, there's plenty of room for improvement with the actual setup itself. Right off the bat, I mean, this, this looks like those free keyboards and mice that you get. Yes, it does. when you buy like a like a, you know, they get really cheap pre-built PC or something. So I think that needs a huge upgrade for sure.

Definitely get a mouse pad. The monitor looks really small and I'm willing to bet it's like a 60 hertz monitor. It doesn't like very high quality. It looks very plasticy. I don't know what brand it is, but there's that. And then also the cables, I mean, I don't know what those cables are hanging there back of the monitor weird stuff mike uh and it looks like the chair even though it's barely pictured in here it's that i think it's that red thing i think so yeah that chair does not

look comfortable for gaming yeah so yeah there's a lot of improvement there but yeah like the actual desk and pc itself pretty dope yeah the pc and desk awesome like a lot of dan and a couple people said it. You spent all your money on the build, but the peripherals like, come on man. Well, you see like there's a picture there on the wall of a desk, of that same desk, right? Oh, maybe this is that a store?

Maybe it's like a business that makes desk or something. Oh, in desk, I think. I think they're called in desk, actually. So you know what? You may be right. This may be a like a thing that makes like desks like this. So this is more of a setup.

To answer this funk's question in the chat who's saying, I agree. I need to see how the air flows through. The air actually flows through that giant hole on the right. It all just blow that event. This is the vent? There's a big tube events right here.

Yes. Yes. It also heats up your entire room. Yeah, because I'm wondering, because I am looking at it. I don't see many holes. So I don't know how the temps are in this. Yeah, I mean, that's literally the only hole you see is that big one on the right. Yeah, so I don't know.

You know, actually, as I thought it was like, whoa, piece desk in a PC in a desk. Whoa. Honestly, now I look at it. I'm like, I don't think I would want this. Like, I, I would, I don't know if I would want this myself either. but it is pretty cool it is cool I even think that like

that little thing that looks like a stereo there on the front I think that's like your temps or something oh this thing yeah yeah that's like a temp yeah that's what I was thinking yeah I wonder if it's

if it's easy to like open like how easy it is to like open it looks like it's open it looks like there's little finger thing I'm assuming you can slide it out isn't that a handle you can just slide out I think oh maybe maybe you can

actually yeah maybe you slide this out because I see here that there's like a like a little thing you put your finger in and pull up but maybe you can like actually slide it out that would make it a lot easier to upgrade then yeah

cryo fog coming out like darts vader i don't want it i agree just like this the fog coming out that would be sick so what would you rate this iven i would give this i'm gonna give it as cool as the desk is i'm not knocking the desk but we did ask for people to show us their set-ups so i'm going to give this a five out of ten because i think this as a setup has a long way to go man uh for all those things i mentioned earlier so desk 1010 the setup 510 there you go all right we got i'll go ahead and bring out another stage two this is from luton lady i this uh this is what i need to do in my next apartment when i move uh getting like LEDs and stuff so let's take a look at luton ladies beautiful setup right now

well loot and lady so far is definitely the best setup i've seen today I mean, I got it. I mean, the color matchings impeccable. Yeah, I know, right? Look at that. Yeah, so, like, they have the NZXT H7 case, H7 elites, to be exact, with the NZXT fans there. And then they have a Corsair cooler and then they have those little Corser pants. Pretty cool.

They're like little mini. Cotton candy vibe. I like that. Yeah, you don't see too many of those little. I don't know what they're called exactly but I just call them little nano leaves I like... Yeah, they're nanos.

I think so. I love how the colors on the PC match the colors on the wall. Go back to the other one. And then I'm always a sucker too for that texture on the wall. Looks cool. Yeah. Like this here,

I assume this is like a sound dampening thing or if it's not sounding damping, it's just like purely aesthetic. I think it's just aesthetic But I mean this is an epic setup Yeah this is cool I had I just had a question So I see you're looking at this

This is the this is the This is the gaming monitor I assume Because it's where the mouse and the keyboard is It feels weird to have the screens Directly to your left though right Well I think the way they have it set up is They have their keyboard there So I think they're doing different things on here.

So it looks like that maybe they're gaming on one side, maybe with the controller. Then on the other side, they have their keyboard and mouse, I'm assuming. So I don't think they're using, which I think this makes a lot of sense, too, because I don't think you really need to have all your monitors bundled together if you're doing different things on the monitors.

And also if you're not playing with the keyboard, right? Like if you're playing with the controller, then you don't need to have your keyboard in front of your gaming monitor. You can just maybe just flip around, lounge back, and then play video games while you're working on the other PC. Not that I do that.

I never game while I work, Mike. I would never do that. I'd never do that. No. Where's the mouse? It's probably like in like the cabin or something makes it look a little cleaner without the mouse. I mean, God.

I got to get us like an 8.5, maybe even 9 out of 10. I mean. Oh, I'm going to give us a 10. 10 out of 10. I don't even know what to knock, man. I, I, I'm just not the biggest fan of the gap thing. I understand that, like, you know, you have, like, two different monitors. You know, I just, I prefer it both, all three at the same one. If they're all together, 10 out of 10.

But because it's gap, I'm not the biggest fan of that. So I'll knock it down one, but I mean, God, you give me this thing. Like, come on. I'm not. You're so picky, Mike. I am. I got to be a little picky for this, you know? I can't just give everyone.

10 of 10. I got to be a little picky but I like it a lot though. Yeah, I got to be a tough judge, guys. I like how you're knocking this one when your setup in the background is empty boxes. Hey, I was recording stuff. I was experimenting. This is this, this right here,

I mean, in the new, when I moved to a new apartment, because right now I'm in my living room because I'm in a one bedroom. When I move to my new apartment, I'll get a two bedroom. I'll have a whole office. It'll look a lot better. Don't worry. This is the whole record. This is my recording studio back here.

You know, this is, I mean, you can't not give this setup like 11 out of 10. I mean, come on, man. This is ridiculous.

This is so crazy. This is actually how I imagine the NZXT Chinchilla set up to be. Right? Come on. We need to see the NXC chinchilla set. Yeah, I said, hey, NXC chinchilla. I sent me a picture of your setup because... Like you imagine, I imagine, like, just, you know, candy wrappers and chewed up tables.

Okay. Cable management could definitely be better. Not only can the cable management be better. It can be done. Go back to that cable management? Okay. Yeah. I don't even know what graphics card is that is.

That's set up? I mean, this, from far. It looks pretty epic and then you zoom in on the PC and I want to like I want to I want to hug this person and show them how to cable manage because like it looks like they didn't even bother to manage the cable. You know, I'm sure everything works, but I mean, there's a reason why NST cases have cable management channels on the back and there's a reason why NST cases have cable management channels on the back and there's a reason why NST cases have cable management channels. holes in the front and that's so you can put the cables in the holes and then route them in the back so you don't have a bunch of you know spaghetti like this in the front so I mean this this is just not good and not only does it not look good it also does impact airflow and it also is potentially dangerous because you

have you know you can easily like just move like one of these cables and break that's true not unheard of and or like one of these cables can get caught in a fan and you know break something you know so that does happen so i feel like if you go back to that first picture mike if you're going to take the time to uh make your setup look like this with like LED lights and is that like a like a white rug or what is that it looks like a white rug right is that what i'm like yes yeah white rug yeah looks like it uh yes yeah looks like it Every time I see a white rug, I just think fancy. I feel like if you're going to take the time to go through all this, man,

you definitely got to take the time to do that cable management. Yeah, I think the main thing is not really about the aesthetic. Like, yeah, we care about the aesthetic, but it is a safety hazard because if one of these fans, like if this cuts into this or anything like that or this falls into this fan, that could literally be a safety hazard. It could literally kill your PC if it gets to that point. So just be careful.

I would say definitely worry about the cable management 100%. Yeah. Did the Chinchilla build this one? But honestly, I like the setup, though. I actually am a big fan of having the PC and, like, a console in the same room. I love that. The RGB lights, fantastic. RGB's good.

The monitors, I think you can get some more monitor stance, make them all kind of even. And again, the PC definitely needs to be worked on, but not a set up. I think this is the first time. This is the first time where I can say the set 10 and the build is a one. Yeah, exactly. The setup is amazing. Like, the setup is great. Like, I mean, look at the vibe in here too.

But PC, you got to work on that PC. I agree. Seven out of 10 setup, I would love to have this. But the PC, oh gosh, got to work on that. Great, though. Okay, we finally got. Hold on. Is the PC?

Is the PC on the desk? Yeah, it's on a desk right here. All right, cool. Yeah, yeah. It's not a desk bottom. Do not worry. We are good. Yeah.

I love the vibe, though. Archiebees? Great. Yeah, that room is a lot. When I finally upgrade. Okay, there we go. Perfect. The room is a vibe.

We finally got a pulse lease. So let's go ahead and bring theirs up right now. So you said that you are a uni student right now. So don't be too harsh. So that will have to keep in mind when we rate this. Are you, in like uni right now like is this your room in uni or is this like your home like your house home we have to know we have to know what their what their major is yeah where we decided you want to

pass judgment okay oh okay an elevated desk big fan of that big big fan of that uh huge fan of that you can definitely clean up this i understand you're uni i was i was messy too but you got it and what is this over here in the bottom right you got it come on you got to clean up that it's not even like a regular dish like you got it you got yes i just rolled out of bed for class this uh this apulsely let me guess you're a computer science major right right right either that or I would say something in like architecture or something like that. I mean, you have a boom arm there,

and then you're not even routing the microphone cable correctly through the boom arm. If you just spent an hour cleaning this up, you would probably have the nicest setup on campus. I'm going to be honest, yeah. I did not get, I did not have a piece of stuff like this in college. so I mean you're definitely off to a better start to most people but yeah clean it up I would say I would give this a good but definitely needs to be worked on but again you're in uni you got a lot of stuff going on so I'm not going to give you too I do like the elevated desk though that that that's huge I think that especially in uni I spent a lot of time like reading and going through this and hudging my back so having that is definitely big I'm doing a good to five a ten five out of ten five out of three minutes. sense seems fair.

if you, I don't know where you are elevated. A huge tip when you look at your monitor, the center of your eyes should be hitting the center of the screen. If not a little bit lower because it's better to look up than it is to look down. So

if you can be put on a monitor arm or lower your chair a little bit so that you're looking directly straight into it. That helps a lot with your neck also after a long time of use. You should be a doctor, Mike. I feel like every episode you're giving people advice on how to protect their their backs. Well, I mean, I'm a big person.

I mean, I have an ergonomic chair right here. I have like a, but I literally elevated in my desk so that I'm not like hunched over because I had some bad back pain last apartment because I kept my PC lower and my desk lower. So hopefully you have an alarm on this thing because people do be stealing those pipes. But super cool, man. I love these types of custom water cooling loops. I love the open air chassis and all that stuff. It's just I personally would never even attempt in a million years to make anything like this. Because, like I said, I would break everything in. You too. I also am not a fan of doing maintenance on.

on like the front of the desk so you actually bump into them all the time everything about this is cool I think the only real thing I would upgrade is probably the desk I agree desk looks a little

little old school you know a little like you know I don't know how to describe it but it's like whenever I see these types of desk I could smell them for some reason it's like old wood smell yeah the desk was $30 out of the state nice

you can't beat that and honestly it does look super sturdy I'm not gonna lie but that's probably the only thing that I think you can say you know what maybe this desk could use an upgrade just because it's like an old wood desk.

Nothing wrong with that. I mean, it works, it works, right? I've seen much worse desk. One day it will be replaced by the, yeah, you know what? I agree. Those things, these wood desks, they will last you longer than you will live.

So, like, pretty nice. And also, I can tell Kieran is an audio file. That converter. Speakers, they have a nice braided cable on their headset. What kind of music are you listening to here, here in? Let us know. Oh, you know what?

That would be, stay creeping. Brings a good point. You could just sand and ret and like, like, restrain in and stuff like that and make it nice and like put a nice polish on it. That, like a dark, dark wood polish on this would look so nice. Like, making just like a dark setup would be. That would be shut. I would give that if you had, it was dark and like resanded and everything. I'd give that at nine and ten.

You know, you can get a PC for, you know, relatively cheap nowadays, to be honest, compared to

to how expensive they used to be. I remember the first PC my dad ever bought for the family was $6,000. And it probably couldn't even run anything today. So that was a long time ago. That was like 30-something years ago. But nowadays, you know, for less than $1,000, I mean, you get a pretty solid PC. So I would say, yeah, just don't be discouraged, start small. also there's nothing wrong with console you know like if you have a Nintendo Switch you can build
