Hello, listeners of the Off Menu podcast. It is Ed Gamble here from the Off Menu podcast.
I have a very exciting announcement. I have written my first ever book. I am absolutely
over the moon to announce this. I'm very, very proud of it. Of course, what else could
I write a book about? But food. My book is all about food. My life in food. How greedy
I am. What a greedy little boy I was. What a greedy adult I am. I think it's very funny.
I'm very proud of it. The book is called Glutton, the multi-course life of a very
greedy boy. And it's coming out this October, but it is available to pre-order now, wherever
you pre-order books from. And if you like my signature, I've done some signed copies,
which are exclusively available from Waterstones. But go and pre-order your copy of Glutton,
the multi-course life of a very greedy boy. Now, please. James, we are here to announce
a very exciting merch collaboration. Yes, I'm going to collaborate with Suspenders
R Us. Well, yes, that's true. You've told me about this, but also there's a more exciting
merch collaboration that doesn't involve little suspenders you've designed. Yes, the big one.
Percival, baby. Percival are a wonderful clothing brand. I wear a lot of Percival. You love
Percival, man. Genuinely love Percival, which is why I'm so excited that we've got together
and collaborated on a brand new range of off-menu Percival merch. Yes, it's very exciting. There's
loads of brilliant designs on there, James. There's so many cool designs, so many different
ways of writing off-menu. I didn't know there was so many fonts out there. Right? Yes. It's
all quality, Percival t-shirts. And what I love about it as well is the little embroideries
are beautiful. Yes. And they're a lovely little nod to off-menu. But also, you could probably
wear them out and about, and they're subtle. They're classy. It's good stuff. It's not
obvious merch. You could wear them every day. I'm going to wear them, and I don't feel
weird about it. I wore one, and I didn't feel weird about it. Good man. You wore the ice
cream one, which is an ice cream cone with ice cream, and our faces are in the ice cream.
Our faces are embroidered into the ice cream. I mean, that is a lifelong dream of mine.
I've always wanted my face to be embroidered into an ice cream cone, and it happened finally.
And there's a pizza one where our faces are embroidered onto pepperoni. Yes. I love to
be that close to cheese. Yeah. That's just two of the designs, but there's amazing, amazing
stuff on. There's white t-shirts, black t-shirts. There's a green t-shirt. There's some jumpers.
Hoodies. There's a white hoodie. There's a gray jumper. Oh, look, it's a great range of stuff.
You've got to go and buy it now. It's available on our website, offmenupodcast.co.uk, or indeed,
go straight to the Percival website, Percivalclo.com. Merry Christmas. It's a once-in-a-lifetime
opportunity.
Hello. It's me, Amy Gladhill. You might remember me from the best ever episode of Off Menu, where
I spoke to my mum and asked her about seaweed on mashed potato, and our relationship's never
been the same since. And I am joined by... Me, Ian Smith. I would probably go bread. I'm not
going to spoil it in case... Get him on, James and Ed. But we're here, sneaking in to your
podcast experience, to tell you about a new podcast that we're doing. It's called Northern
News. It's about all the new stories that we've missed out from the North, because, look, we're
two Northerners, sure, but we've been living in London for a long time. The new stories
are funny. Quite a lot of them crimes. It's all kicking off, and that's a new podcast called
Northern News we'd love you to listen to. Maybe we'll get my mum on. Get Glill's mum on every
show. That's Northern News. When's it out, Ian? It's already out now, Amy! Is it? Yeah,
get listening. There's probably a backlog you've left it so late.
