Hello, I'm Natalie Cassidy.
And I'm Joanna Page.
Now, you may know us from shows like EastEnders and Gavin and Stacey,
but what you might not know is we both love all things telly, don't we, Jo?
We do. It's how I switch off, how I spend a Friday night with my kids,
how I get some peace from my husband.
I mean, I can't get enough of it.
And that is why we're doing this podcast,
Off The Telly,
where each week we'll have a natter
about what we're watching,
what we definitely recommend,
what we absolutely don't want to watch,
as well as finding out what you're watching at home.
Exactly.
But this isn't just the new stuff, is it, Nat?
No, absolutely not.
I mean, yeah, we'll be talking about the big stuff,
what's on that week
and what people are talking about, but we want to talk about all the telly people love, absolutely not. I mean, yeah, we'll be talking about the big stuff, what's on that week and what people are talking about,
but we want to talk about all the telly people love,
whether that's the latest new series
or a box set you feel like you should have watched but never did,
or even those old favourites that we keep going back to.
I mean, I can barely keep up these days with all the streaming.
Plus, sometimes I don't want to watch a show that's won all the awards.
I'd much rather sit down and watch a bit of Old Marple.
Now you're talking my language, Jo.
I used to love a bit of Poirot
with my mum and dad.
I mean, the point is
we love all things telly
and we can't wait
to find out
what you're all watching too.
Right, Nat.
Let's stick the kettle on then
and find out
what's occurring.
Off the telly.
Listen on BBC Sounds.
