Off The Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe - Amanda Hirsch (Not Skinny But Not Fat): Two Geminis Talk Hot Goss

Episode Date: February 2, 2023

Coming right off Not Skinny But Not Fat, Kaitlyn was honored to welcome this Vine-y for a Part 2 to talk all things celebrity gossip, reality TV, and anti-bucket-list goals. Amanda Hirsch may... have started her brand as a small meme account (we’ll get into that) but it wasn’t long until she was literally eating salads with the Kardashians, and she fills Kaitlyn in on how she infiltrated this famous family by passing some cryptic tests. The two are also manifesting a four way interview with themselves and the power couple that is Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox, sharing their BHAGs (big, hairy, audacious goals), and giving their thoughts on Bachelor Nation. Plus, they’re getting into all the hot goss on Austin Butler, Miley Cyrus, and the one and only Pete Davidson who may just not be what he seems.  Thank you to our sponsors! Starting point is 00:00:00 Okay, let's talk about the original enemies to lovers story. Before all of our reality TV couples, before the rom-coms, we binge, there was Elizabeth Bennett and Mr. Darcy in pride and prejudice. And Audible has just dropped a brand new original that will have you completely hooked, I am. It's not just any audiobook. This is a full cast performance. So Marisa Abella, you might know her from industry, brings Elizabeth Bennett to life.
Starting point is 00:00:25 And Harris Dickinson from Baby Girl and Where the Crawdads Sing is Mr. Darcy. And honestly, the chemistry, you guys, it's everything. Plus, you've got icons like Glenn Close, Bill Nye and Will Polter in the mix. Talk about a dream cast. Now, what I love is how Marissa pulls you right into Lizzie's world, her stubbornness, her wit, her messy family dynamics, and of course, her complicated feelings for Darcy, and with a vibrant new adaptation and original score by Grammy-nominated composer, it just feels so fresh and modern while still keeping that timeless Jane Austen charm.
Starting point is 00:00:58 So whether it's your first time experiencing Pride and Prejudice or you've read it a million times, you're going to fall absolutely in love all over again. So go listen to Pride and Prejudice now at audible.ca slash Jane Austen. This episode of Grape Therapy is brought to you by Peloton. Starting point is 00:01:30 Explore Peloton Row and the financing options at OnePeloton.com slash row. It's time for Off the Vine, Grape Therapy. Welcome to your weekly session. Caitlin and friends are here to share unfiltered advice, lots of laughs, and some major breakthroughs. So put your feet up, pop a cork, and get ready for some grape therapy. Oh my God, we're just left out. We're just like raw dogging in here. That's what I just called it the other day.
Starting point is 00:02:06 I forgot. I never say that word. What? I love it. Yeah. It's funny. Raw doggie? I know.
Starting point is 00:02:11 It's an intense visual. Do you know who Andy Roddick is? The tennis player. Yeah, that's what I say. I'm just Andy Roddick in it. Is that stupid? Andy Roddick. I feel like he's so our generation.
Starting point is 00:02:21 Didn't we think he was so hot? Yeah, I thought he was so hot. I know. Where is he now? Still married to Brooklyn Decker. Is he really? Yeah. That's what, okay, so for...
Starting point is 00:02:29 They were like the it couple. For like raw dog in it and like raw dick. I always say that for like if somebody... And no one laughs or do people laugh? No, people don't laugh. Or I say it for if somebody didn't wear a condom. I'm like, he just, Andy raw dick you? Or like, well, see, a lot of people wouldn't get this,
Starting point is 00:02:46 but there was a guy back in the day he was a hockey player and he used to play for the Edmonton Oilers and his name was Craig McTavish. Yeah. And he was the last player in the league to not wear a helmet. And so I was also called Not Warring a Condom, Craig McTavish. And like no one actually got it? Nobody gets it. No.
Starting point is 00:03:03 Wait, do hockey players really not have teeth? A lot of them don't. Did it gross you out? That's hot. It's hot to not have teeth? Yeah. Stop. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:13 I'm Canadian. Hockey players can do no wrong in my mind. Like, look wise. Like they have the biggest butts. My ex had. You like a big butt on a dude? Bubble bum. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:23 I call it a shelf. I want to rest my drink on it. Oh, you know what I forgot to ask you on my pot. What? I remember once you posted about an ick from Jason and I really appreciated it. Tell me more because I got so much hate for that. What? People hated me for that. They were like, you're so mean to him. I'm like, I was asked a question. Wait, you were saying when he's like too Instagram me or something?
Starting point is 00:03:43 Yeah. There's more. I mean, I get shit for a two P.R. I was like she, I feel like my husband even gets messages and he's the least active on Instagram, but he'll get like, you know, just. that I'm a piece of shit. But my thing with him is, like, making fun of him, you know? That's my love language. Right. So some people don't get it. And most people do.
Starting point is 00:04:08 But so with that, I appreciate that stuff because, like, I so much rather see that and I still know that you're happy and you're cute. But, like, I rather see that because it's true. Like, you love him, but he has these, like, moments and he still love him, even though he's out here, like, making real, you know? He has so many. So many icks with me. Also, my, like, hardcore boundaries.
Starting point is 00:04:29 When he has icks that you're icky to him? Oh, yeah. No. I feel like so many things I do gives him the ick. I feel like guys have such a high, you know, okay, so speaking of me being armed cherry and a viny. Yeah. I don't, by the way, once I make a joke, I don't stop, you know, how people do that.
Starting point is 00:04:46 I tell you, I beat a dead horse. That's, first of all, for those who don't know, I just did Amanda's podcast, and we were talking about, because she was like, I, yeah, I listed your podcast. I'm a viney and I'm like, what's a vino? But okay. So now I'm saying it every three minutes on the dot and I will not stop. Um, our chair expert and viney. You know what Dax just said on his podcast.
Starting point is 00:05:09 Well, I consider him like so smart. He's so smart. I know. I'm like you're so smart. Yeah. And he said this. And this is about sex, but I feel like it could be taken into real life.
Starting point is 00:05:17 Okay. Because you were talking on my podcast about your anxiety and, um, that you get crazy around your period. Yeah. The men have to deal with that. And as much as I don't want to sound like a. sexist like men are like we deal with other things but we're not dealing with like crazy mood swings we're not dealing with like hormone changes right dealing with like tantrums of a five year old
Starting point is 00:05:37 we're not dealing with like you crying because like you cut your leg yeah we're dealing with other gross and knowing things about men but they do deal with like the crazy pretty well like I literally you guys this is bad I literally could tell my my stomach is really hurting my followers know this and I told my husband yesterday I looked at when I was like I am suicidal and you don't care. Like, I used that word. Oh, no. And he said, and you don't care. No, no. To him. And he was just like, are you really? And like, I think I meant it in the moment. That's how dramatic I was feeling that my stomach was hurting. And like, the fact that he has to deal with this on the daily basis. And I'm like, you don't even care that my stomach hurts. Meanwhile, he can say to me like, my head's exploding. I'm like,
Starting point is 00:06:16 I don't know. So they deal with a lot. It's true. I almost feel like they're a little attracted to the crazy. Yes. Like, I really do. And they want, you know what else they love? They love being needed. Like, when I had really bad anxiety and I, like, needed my husband more than ever, like, would call him on the floor and be like, I need you to come pick me up. He was there in, like, 20 seconds.
Starting point is 00:06:41 Like, everywhere I needed him. If I needed him, when I was pregnant, I needed him to, like, bring me to work because I, like, couldn't, like, everything that they're, like, needed for. I feel like they step, like, certain men. But, like, they like stepping. up and, like, taking care of the woman. Yeah. So I feel like even though, you know, he supports me so much, he likes having me need him.
Starting point is 00:07:04 Like when I'm super independent and don't need him. Yeah. That's where it's like, he feels it's kind of like, oh, she doesn't need me. Because they're like, they want to be attracted to that and then they have it. And they're like, but what? You don't need me? Yeah. And then they get like all insecure about it.
Starting point is 00:07:18 They want you to need them a little. And I think that it's good, and this might be old fashion, to give them that a little. Yeah. To keep that alive of like, I need you and I just can't. Like, give it a little. Just a little bit. Yeah, I agree. Like, just so it's there.
Starting point is 00:07:33 Yeah. Like, I still let my husband make decisions. Like, I'll make, let him like, if we're going like to an Airbnb, like, you find it. Yeah. If we're, you know, opening a new credit card, you pick it. Yeah. Like, I don't care. There are things that like we're buying a car, go deal with it and, you know, somehow it was the car I wanted, though.
Starting point is 00:07:51 That's interesting with that word. But what I'm saying is, I do. give it to him. I don't know how we got to that, though. The ick, oh, that the crazy that they deal with is a lot if you think about it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:03 And even, like, someone like Jason who is, like, seemingly straight edgy. Yeah. Yeah. You said a mom that's, like, angelic and doesn't get the swingies. Yep. But still, he can handle you and your life. Are you a Gemini? I have a Gemini. Oh, of course.
Starting point is 00:08:19 Are you? Of course I am. When's your birthday? May 31st. June 19th. Oh, you're a lady. I'm a lady. I don't know. know what that means. Like, I don't know what it means the different kinds of Gemini's. But it makes sense that you're a Gemini. So many things. I'm a Gemini, my son and I'm... Should we get Gemini tattoos right now? You know I will. You know I will. I just came from my
Starting point is 00:08:36 tattoo appointment. John Boy tattoo is a real treat. I know. He's so good at what he does. I know. I want to get one now. Like, coming off your podcast, I feel like I could talk to you for so long. I know. Me too. I'm glad we did a swap. So for anyone that's listening... And by the way, I never do swaps. So this is like, like, this is how much I'm... Kardashians ask you do a swap. That wasn't a swap. No, but if they asked you do,
Starting point is 00:08:58 oh, I'd probably do it. Yeah. No, after that, do you know what happens to me? I need to, like, you know, shed skins like a snake. Yeah. You know, you need to, like, come back down to Earth, realize where you are, get in your, you know. Honda 7.
Starting point is 00:09:14 Keelhan. Do you drive a Honda Civic? No. But, oh my God, this is such a funny story. My producer is going to hear this. We went to Calabasas to do Courtney's podcast. This was the last one. I took a car service there
Starting point is 00:09:26 like a fancy one because I was like you need to show up like after the two gates that I had to go through and then I was stupid and didn't organize the one on the way back
Starting point is 00:09:37 and I was like I'll just order like an Uber block or something and I already told her assistant like tell the gates that I'm like going to order an Uber and then I like click the Uber
Starting point is 00:09:47 and it's like 18 minutes to Calabasas and you don't want to like overstay your welcome like she was already so cool with me. She like got me a salad. We like ate a salad together. Oh, she would. We finished. I know. we shook it. It was really cute. And then, no, I made her shake it. I was like, we're shaking me in for the content. So, um, you know, it was so funny though. So we get the salads from
Starting point is 00:10:06 health nut, lifelong dream of mine. That's the Kardashian salad place for everyone. So her assistant, I didn't know what Courtney ordered because the assistant did it. And then the assistant asked me and I was like, looking at the option. So I took a coffee salad with ranch. And then the salads come and Courtney's is like green leaves and like an oil and lemon dressing and I'm like with bacon egg blue cheese and ranch like shaking this fat ass salad and finishing it to the thing last leave yeah and then being like so fun finish the salad you know whatever and then I'm like just gonna order and it's like 18 minutes my mind is like what the fuck are you gonna do yeah what did you do by the way guys if you end up in Calabasas you know pre-order a new
Starting point is 00:10:52 So I drove back And my producer is Honda Civic Oh And I was brought way back I was brought back to Back to life Real quick on that highway That you don't want to be in a civic for
Starting point is 00:11:04 You need to be in a high car on those highways Yeah yeah yeah wow That is a really cool moment though Because you're like I just interviewed a Kardashian And now I'm getting in a Honda Civic to go home Yeah it's a moment to come back down Yeah Which I appreciate it
Starting point is 00:11:18 You needed that I need it You needed that Yeah I just want to know how you get there because I would like to interview Megan Fox. I don't know about you, but I'm actually applying to be her girlfriend. Like, I filled out a whole application.
Starting point is 00:11:30 I really did. Well, I want to interview MGK so we could like, we could do a four-way interview. Oh, my gosh. Well, he just tweeted like, I want to go on somebody's podcast. I know. And she would be a cool guest for you. She'd be a really cool guest. She is cool.
Starting point is 00:11:46 She, like, looks so like bomb shelly vibes, but then she'll go in interviews and she's like funny and she does voices and she is brilliant she's like she's like smart yeah yeah she's really deep i have to show you my application no wait you really sent in one yeah application for girlfriend no stop show me where did you send it well i'm going to send it to her i don't know you is this for content well it's for content and for realzies I am dying. Wait, are you really going to send it? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:27 To what address? I don't know. Fox at gmail.com. I don't know. Yeah, I'm really applying. Wait, so why are you obsessed with her? Because she's hot. I've always been obsessed with her.
Starting point is 00:12:36 Okay. Since like Transformer days, Ninja Turtles. What do you say to people that say about her that she got too much stuff done? What camp are you on with that? Okay, I will say, when she looks incredible. Yeah. She got the boobs, right? recently, new boobs.
Starting point is 00:12:53 She had boobs and now she has boobies. Right, right. She has like boobs. Like titties now. Again, my say, did I say this on your podcast? Good for her, not. Good for her, not for me. But it's not for me. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:05 I love small boobs. I love the good for her, not for me. Yeah, it's a good saying, isn't it? Love it. Yeah. So for her, all her plastic surgery or things she's done, I'm like, good for her, but it's, it's kind of for me, but not. Not that exact.
Starting point is 00:13:18 I mean, I'm not at a point where I'm going to go under the knife, but I. Why, you think she went under the knife? the knife. Well, don't you have to for boobs? Oh, with the boobs? Yeah. I wonder if, like, for other stuff. She was just so beautiful her whole life. Yeah. And now she's like manufactured beautiful, but she's a different kind of beautiful. Well, she's also a different vibe now. She's like, Tammy and Tom with MGK. She's Tammy and Tom. I know. She's different vibes. If you look at her with Brian Austin Green, she was like a different, totally. But it's what you said about yourself. You're like, people change, obviously. Yeah. And who knows what relation of that was.
Starting point is 00:13:49 she was actually not in the spotlight at all with him. Yeah. She hid, maybe it was him. Maybe he didn't like that she was like. Right. They were totally undercover. They were undercover. She had like seven babies.
Starting point is 00:14:01 Yeah. Like no one knew. Now he's with the dancing with the stars. Shana. Shana, who's just lovely. Yeah, she's amazing. Yeah. And she's like friends with Megan and they like get along.
Starting point is 00:14:11 And Megan like held her baby the other day. And don't you love this like, you know, co-parenting thing? I feel like it just looks fun in Hollywood. It's like one person gets it three days. The other person gets it three days. It seems like a nice setup. It really does. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:24 I have so many questions for you because I suck at pop culture, but I do want to say, where can people listen to your podcast because we did the swap? Yeah. You're like only because we did the swap. But yeah, I'm not going to mention. But yeah, don't, but only listen to that episode. Not skinny, but not fat. How did you come up with this name?
Starting point is 00:14:40 Oh, this awful name is going to stick with me forever. What's? I have mixed feelings. I came up with it. It's like I started my Instagram at the time where. people had those kinds of names. Like, it was a fat Jewish and Fahiri and my therapist says. He's around.
Starting point is 00:14:56 He is. He posts sometimes. I wonder what he's doing that he doesn't have to post anymore. Yeah, I know. I'm like, did he retire? Like, what business? Like, he has a rosé. Yeah, the babe rosé.
Starting point is 00:15:07 Yeah. That's what I wonder sometimes. He'll post like a meme on his story and I'll be like, wait, do you not have to do this anymore? Yeah. Like, are you, what do you do? I should interview him. I want to know. I think he was like a little canceled because it was found like he he used to just take other people's memes and then people got really mad about it. It's like you have 10 million followers. You're making bank and like you've never tagged the person. So I started around that time and I was posting memes. So I needed like a handle like in my head. I was like I need like a handle. Not like my name. And that name actually was like you know when you go to sleep at night and you have thoughts like tomorrow I'm going to sign up for.
Starting point is 00:15:48 you know, Zumba. Yeah. I'm going to become a Zumba instructor. I've tried once. I'm like, I'm so good. I should be an instructor. And they're like, you need to like actually.
Starting point is 00:15:57 Anyway, that's a real story. So this was a bedtime thought of like, I'm going to open an Instagram. I can write funny things. I'm starting tomorrow. I'm going to call it this. Like the name came to me.
Starting point is 00:16:07 And it was very literal. It was like I've always felt not skinny but not bad. A lot of my memes were about food looking back. Maybe I had some, maybe my relationship with food wasn't as good because it was very like, you know, like a fat cow this weekend. What about you? And people really related to that stuff, you know?
Starting point is 00:16:23 And it, you know, a lot of the things were like, you know, one of them was like, if I didn't eat, you know, if there were no weekends, I'd be 40 pounds. Like all these things that people related to just about binging. Yeah. Like not in a, you know, super unhealthy way or overeating or, you know, not being able to resist gross food. So a lot of it at the beginning I feel like was about that. So it's kind of literal for me. Some people took it as kind of And I'm like, you're not here, you're not there, you're somewhere in the middle. And I'm like, love that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:52 Let's go with that. And today, these words are kind of triggering. So not to everybody. No. But I think, I always wonder I ask like different creators about it that, you know, I'm like, what do you think about this? Like people that are either body positive or something. And they also don't know, kind of. It's kind of like it can be triggering.
Starting point is 00:17:14 Yeah. I can understand why somebody. But then I don't get why. Is it the butt? Is it because I'm saying I'm butt not? Right. Like if it was just not skinny, not fat, is that fine?
Starting point is 00:17:24 Is it because some people would be like, you're not not screaming off at you, you are skinny or you are, you know what I mean? But I wish that it didn't have those words in it, but that was the fucking name. And now it's in a neon sign behind me in my office. And there's no going back.
Starting point is 00:17:39 Well, you built a brand off of yet. It's an LLC that I have to say out loud sometimes. Not skinny, but not fat, you know. I don't even. associate it with body, to be honest with you. I associate it with just like your brand. Yeah. Okay, when you've got a lot going on, it can be really hard to find time or motivation for a workout. I know I've been there a million times before, but Peloton has really motivated me to get it in however and whenever I can. You guys already know how I feel about Peloton. It's my fave. So I've had their bike for a while now, take classes on the app, but the Peloton Row brand new to me. I went to their showroom in Nashville. I, you know, to get this rower immediately. I should have asked for it for Christmas. Maybe I'll just get it myself. Merry Christmas, Caitlin. You guys, I'm serious when I say I actually had fun working out
Starting point is 00:18:26 and feel like I got in a brand new type of workout for me, just full body. Starting point is 00:19:03 And the breakdown is at the end so you can go even harder next time. Starting point is 00:19:54 But MGM operates pursuant to an operating agreement with Eye Gaming, Ontario. How did your Instagram blow up and then turn into a podcast? How did you do that? Well, so I started with the memes. This was even before stories. So it was just me having an outlet. Like you were saying about yourself, like I've always. put myself kind of out there in different ways.
Starting point is 00:20:19 So I had like written in journals my whole life, had a blog. I actually, you said you weren't trying. You were kind of like just thinking that you should be famous. I was like trying in a really delusional way my whole life. But not like solely. Like there is two people, right? There's like sleep in your car. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:39 Like do that shit. And there's me like work a job, get, have money and be like, can I make it to this audition for is it right by, you know, the place that I'm eating lunch and have it kind of work for me. But I had this thing and this was my unique journey was like, I want to make sure that like the universe knows and this is like me manifesting for all that shit. And I know that if this is the thing that I want to do that I'm at least putting something towards that goal. So I would like send emails to agents and be like represent me. I would, you know, apply to agencies. I would go on auditions.
Starting point is 00:21:15 I would do all this, like, random shit to be like, Sam, like, putting it out there. So, like, something may happen. And with the Instagram, funny enough at that time, I had just moved. I had lived in Israel for five years where I met my husband. Moved back here with him, like, took him. He's Israeli and was like, move with me back to New York.
Starting point is 00:21:35 And it was much harder than I thought the whole transition of, like, moving him here. I was like responsible for us both. So I had, like, bad anxiety. And it sort of was born out of that, like following me pages, having it make me laugh and being like, oh, I want to, like, I could write those things and, like, have it be funny.
Starting point is 00:21:49 Yeah. But it was like, I had 12 followers. I would like hashtag funny, humor. You remember those hashtags? Oh, yeah. But memes were very shareable then. So it was like people would really tag their friends and they would become much more like of a thing.
Starting point is 00:22:01 Yeah. And then that was before there were stories. And then I was even anon. Like I was just so on me. Like, who was she that didn't want to be like, you know, seen? And then when stories became. came and thing. I was like, hi, it's me. I know you've been dying. I know it's funny. I remember when I decided that I was going to like, um, start posting pictures of myself. And it was a risk because
Starting point is 00:22:24 imagine this page of only memes. Yeah. And then this bitch popping up. And half of the people don't know why this bitch's picture is coming up because they're following for the memes. I remember getting so unfollowed. But it was worth it to me for the long run. I was like, if you're here just to see the next funny thing, that ain't it anymore. Right. was my like turning point because at first i was doing it for the funzies and then i was like no i want this to be about me yeah and if you don't like it then i don't want you here anyway wow so that was the pivotal point for you that when you were like i'll lose some followers i didn't care i was like i want you to be here because you like me yeah i still feel that way by the way even now if um
Starting point is 00:23:05 my account grows after like you know something like a kardashian interview or this or that i get even a little bit nervous just because I really want people that are there for the right reasons. Look how I'm like using all these. You said journey. I said journey. You said right reasons. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:23:23 No, I don't want you there because like you think I'm going to like, I don't know, post photos with Kim or I don't want you there because like I really wish you could like actually choose the people and sometimes have them be like, know that they like you, know that they're not there for a shitty reason. and know that, you know, they're going to be, like, really part of it. So, yes, it became kind of like, after I showed myself, then stories started. I think I was kind of one of the first people to kind of recap a TV show watching it. It was 2016, and I was watching Vanderpump Rules on like an old computer.
Starting point is 00:24:02 Yeah. And just, like, watching and talking about it. And this is, I was late to Vanderbump Rules, but still people were kind of into my journey. And people were like, I'm watching it again through you. And it became like this thing. And that was kind of like the start of it becoming kind of like me, but also, you know, entertainment, pop culture, reality TV. And I'm a baby.
Starting point is 00:24:25 And obviously it's so now it's kind of like me and all the things I love. Yeah. Isn't that great? It's really great. That's memes were such a thing like in accounts that were blowing up. What do you think the niche is now on social media? I don't know. I wish it was still.
Starting point is 00:24:39 isn't it crazy like then it was like a meme and that was easy enough to like have a thought and write something funny yeah now you have to like go and edit and like make a whole thing i even sometimes just tell my followers like if i had the energy to make a real i'd make one that this happened you know like i can't i'm a very like my instagram is like ugly you know what i mean it's not like aesthetically pleasing exactly yeah and neither are my stories you'll see like the but i love that i feel like i feel like that's what the niches. I feel like a relatability. That's what I thought it was. Yeah. And then you see some things and you're like, oh, maybe it's not. I don't, I mean, obviously, you don't want anybody trying to be relatable because that's so transparent. Well, you can see right through that.
Starting point is 00:25:20 Oh, my God. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, my God. There's nothing worse than like a trying to be relatable. Yeah. I agree. I'm trying to think of someone that does that. I'm like, what is it? I'm like, what is it? It's like, oh, my room is so messy. Yeah. Like, stop. Like, like, you know, just, you know what? You know what? it's relatable, not saying it. Yeah. And just having it there. Yeah. I agree. If anything. And that's not even relatable. It's like whatever your room's messy. I just feel like you can see right through people who are trying to be anything that they're not. It was a cool. It was a cool thing. It was Vanderp. Rules was so into it. And it's and
Starting point is 00:25:55 then I had a relationship with Bravo. That was really cool. They like kind of had me come and do it. It's sort of like evolved from me just like liking to talk about things. And I never kind of say that I get any scoop first or I'm like a pop culture queen of information. I'm more like, let's talk about this crazy thing that happened because I actually care about it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I think it's so funny or so interesting or so this and it could be, I could be 10 years late to it or I could be, you know? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:23 So I think it's kind of like people kind of like the passion about it because so many people know, I feel like today do it. Yeah. And they're like pointing at the green screens, but like are you really passionate about this or are you thinking that like that's going to get you viral if you make a clip about you know this thing that you found like that's not my vibe no I agree I'm the exact same way I it's got to feel just super authentic and like like natural and for me okay I always talk about like big goals or big dreams we're saying again now I'm getting it confused I'm like did we
Starting point is 00:26:54 say it on your podcast or mine but like saying a crazy dream out loud and you said you like you like to be a little bit delusional when you think about dreams and these big goals like we called it in the restaurant industry I worked at a B. which is a big hairy audacious goal like what is your be heck and mine is truly getting to be Megan Fox's girlfriend but other than that would be to have her on the podcast how do you go about that how did you go about getting a Kardashian to agree to go on your podcast and I also want my wine to be in their hands on an episode of keeping up with the Kardashians I'm like I just want how do you get in there I think it was just organic because Jason asked me that
Starting point is 00:27:37 his podcast. He was like, you know, you put 250 people in a room and tell them to get the Kardashians on their podcast and like they can't. I would never dare ask them. Yeah. Because like that's a hag or whatever he said. A bee hag. I was putting, I think, so much out there about them at the time. And I think the way in which I did it was very unique to them. Because I've obviously dissected like, how could this? happen. Yeah. It's like, okay, I wasn't sucking their dick. Yeah. I was kind of making fun of them, but in the, but in the perfect amount where they were taking it super cool. They thought some of the shit was funny themselves.
Starting point is 00:28:19 Yeah. They shared about the, these are things I know later, like they would share about in the group chat of the family and like, so they all kind of like knew. And I think I started to pick up that they all kind of know when like, I noticed that some of their friends follow me and like, we'll say, we love your account. I'm like, who's me? Yeah. And I'd be like, oh my God.
Starting point is 00:28:37 think they like me like I think they're kind of into what I'm doing yeah well I actually did ask Courtney I never damn them in my life and then Courtney posted that she was but I always said people would be like who's your dream and I'd be like I think at the time was like Haley Bieber Courtney Kardashian that was my dream guest um and then Courtney posted she was like on Addison Ray's podcast one day and I'd never responded to a story of hers and I never but I was like I wasn't raised a pot like why come on my podcast I like just I just wrote it and in the message and she responded and I was in the middle of recording a podcast I remember and she wrote like oh my god should I and this was like two years ago ha ha ha and I was like I was recording
Starting point is 00:29:17 with a guest I was like I'm so sorry about Corny Kardashian just responded to my DM like I don't know what to do and the guest like helped me like formulate a cool response with which in retrospect don't do because you won't sound like yourself mine was like mine was like I'm so honored like queen it was just like it's just like not me it was a lot of trying to be cool and a lot of like you know and and and I remember she was just like that would be so fun like I feel like we're besties and I'm like oh my god I feel like we're besties that's so crazy so then I was like hey Courtney knows who I am I don't think the podcast is going to happen but like it's out there and I also know that she wasn't a big like talker of the family she's never the one
Starting point is 00:29:57 that they like shoved to the front and then when the she's like the SNL skit and I'm Judy you know it's like all the beautiful sisters and she's like and I'm I'm with by myself. So it was kind of like just a cool thing. And then actually when the Hulu, when they moved to Hulu, Hulu reached out to me and I thought it was a troll. Like I got an email like, would you want to have Kim Kardashian on your podcast?
Starting point is 00:30:23 And I was like, this is a cruel joke. Yeah, me. This is not happening. This is somebody fucking with me. I like LinkedIn the Hulu person. It was real. I wrote back an email. I wasn't trying to be cool and like forward it to my team.
Starting point is 00:30:37 You know, I was kind of like, let me give the due respect to this email that, like, I'm freaking out. Yeah. And I'll come to the moon. Yeah. Like, what do you mean do you want? I even made the joke, which I feel like wasn't funny. I was like, let me think about it. Yes.
Starting point is 00:30:48 You know, like, play it cool. Play it cool. So it happened. And I remember thinking the whole time like, okay, this isn't going to happen. It's so nice to like have it be, you know, a thing where maybe it's going to happen, but I'm not going to get my hopes up. Because it was planned very far in advance. So I was always like, okay. You know, it's in April, this was, you know, the email was in February.
Starting point is 00:31:11 Like, this isn't going to happen. Like, end up happening. Wow. And then it went so well. She was happy with it. And the response was so great. And I remember I got back to New York after the whirlwind in L.A. And the one of their reps, like, I was talking to them about how well it was going.
Starting point is 00:31:29 And she was like, so when's Chloe? And I was like, what? And she's like, May 27th. And I was like, okay. Shut up. And then I went back for Chloe. I almost feel like I went through some tests with them that I don't know that I was accepted. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:43 You know? Like maybe they told me something and they saw that I never said it. Like I still to this day don't get it. Like why they like me and give me, you know, I feel like opportunities like that. And then with Courtney, every time I saw it, it was like a gel aim. And then like the thing is with them, the way shit happened was so easy. And, you know, so many of these, like, so many influencers and things and new celebrities or whatever have teams. And they were, they were, it wasn't that complicated.
Starting point is 00:32:16 Really? It was pretty, pretty easy to, to organize. And with Courtney, it was, uh, Stack Shop came on the podcast. Yeah. It was a really good one. She was, um, you know, you know, she is. Yeah. So she, I feel like people didn't know about her.
Starting point is 00:32:32 Yeah. You know, they just knew. And I really wanted to kind of get to know on the pod. And she, and we were. walking out of here, right where we are. And she was kind of like, that was so fun. Like, Courtney should do the pod. Like, did Simon talk to you about it?
Starting point is 00:32:44 Like another one of their friends. And I was like, no. And she was like, oh, yeah, yeah. We told her she should do it. Like, I'll talk to Simon and mind him to tell you. And I was like, okay. I was like, totally, I'm down. No, it's fine.
Starting point is 00:32:54 Like, we could totally do it to then. Yeah, whenever. So that kind of happened. So it all kind of happened. I think it's just stemmed from, like, really organically. I mean, I think it was the perfect mix of like they could tell that I genuinely like them that I was rooting for them, but I wasn't this like fan girl suck their dick that I'm kind of like could be their friend maybe like. I feel like I fit this perfect
Starting point is 00:33:19 box of, you know, and they're smart. Yeah. They're very smart. And the decisions they make aren't random. That's why it's so flattering. Like they really. Right. They thought about it. Yeah. Oh, yeah. She's cute. She has a podcast. They did research. Right. They were like, yeah. They were like, this is a podcast we should go on. That's great. And it made me really happy when the responses were good and that people were like,
Starting point is 00:33:42 you know, we love Kim more an hour. That made me happy because that's like my goal when guests come on. Same. I love giving them like their own voice to feel empowered and for people
Starting point is 00:33:53 to be like, oh, they are, they can just sit down with, you know, someone like us. Yeah. And they are one of us. Yeah, they're not like,
Starting point is 00:34:00 we put them on this pedestal and we somehow want them to fail. And by me, I mean, not me. like the public and it's weird like you would think and there's so like I love that when I when people love my guess
Starting point is 00:34:13 like I'm because I think even even there you know the Friends episode we're so basic I will always I know so you know Phoebe's like there's no selfless act so we almost sound selfless but I think part of it if I had to psychoanalyze it is like if I can get you to like someone that maybe you didn't think you would like
Starting point is 00:34:32 or even not not if you enjoyed this so much and you're like like I'm part of it too like I kind of help that happen you know so it makes me like feel even more confident about my my pod you know like I don't like when people message me like I didn't like that person it doesn't make me feel better it's like I come I kind of like hate when people say that to me yeah you're wanting to bring out their best side and have an honest nice conversation with them and the Kardashians are so polarizing and I don't know why because they do seem quite lovely I know you know they get a lot of shit and like have you seen Bethany Frankel like really she hates me yeah
Starting point is 00:35:05 And you know what I always think when I see your videos? Like, I don't care, but it's kind of like, they would never do this to you or to another woman. You know, that's kind of the first thought that comes to my mind. I just want to know what Bethany Frankel's motive is. I know. Because. I know what it is. What?
Starting point is 00:35:20 Jump on the, there's a big train. The hate the Kardashian train is bigger than the love. Is it? Oh, I mean, I think that people love to hate them. Yeah. And I think that, like, she tapped in. Maybe she said one thing where, and people are like, you're so right. like they're fake and they're gross and then she was like whoa you know I feel like she's
Starting point is 00:35:39 one of those people like whatever work she'll stick to so it's like the makeup I used to be a huge fan yeah I always haven't Kate samezies I kind of was always a fan and then lately I've just found her to be and she I don't think she gives a shit too right if like you should really be upset be you lost two fans yeah like I'm like she just seems a bit harsh now yeah like I don't know I feel like she doesn't like respect the hustle. I loved her like straightforwardness. Don't give a f***ness that was like really organic on the show at first. And I think now it's like for TikTok, you know?
Starting point is 00:36:15 Yeah. That's where you lost me. Yeah. And the Kardashian thing is really like, why do we so cruel to people that literally did nothing to you? Like you should know better. You were in this world. Like would you want people ripping you? And she's ripping apart their looks and it's like, have you not had anything done? Right.
Starting point is 00:36:30 I don't know. It's a bizarre. It's a bizarre thing. And the most thing, the, the strongest thing that I feel about it is, like, they wouldn't do that. No. Like, not, they wouldn't, they wouldn't should have. I mean, look at Kim Kardashian with Kanye. Like, she will still.
Starting point is 00:36:44 I know. It's wild. Like, that's wild to me. She will literally protect him to the kids, which I just respect the hell out of that. Yeah. You know, she doesn't want to kick him all he's down and make the kids not like him. Yeah. Like, she's a good person.
Starting point is 00:36:58 I think she is, too. Yeah. And a lot of people that I've met, like, I know people who do their spray tan. or like people. And they're all just saying like, lovely. Always. Yeah. Always. Always.
Starting point is 00:37:08 That's the thing. You'll never hear someone say like, I don't know about the Jenner. I actually don't know about the Jenner. Yeah. Like I just know what the Kardashians, people really never have anything bad to say with working with them. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:21 Yeah. Yeah. Hey there. I'm Tay Lautner, joined by my husband and co-host Taylor Lautner. Each week, Tay and I will welcome well-known guests. and industry experts to further the conversation on mental wellness. We talk a lot about the squeeze or the juice of your mental health. You'll hear the tips, tricks, tools, and resources people use to get them through the day.
Starting point is 00:37:46 When life gives you lemons, what do you do with them? Over here at the squeeze, we talk about it. So you're really hip with the hot goss. and I'm just not. Yeah. But you're, like, passionate about it, which I love. Yeah, I love. I think.
Starting point is 00:38:08 So I want your thoughts on some of the latest celebrity gossip. Okay, Miley Cyrus music video for her new song, Flowers. There's, like, rumors that she's wearing Liam's suit and in a house that he cheated on her. I know. But, I don't know. This actually, I feel like Shakira did her a disservice because Shakira's song about P.K. came out like a day before. and that was earth-shattering because she made it wasn't like oh maybe it's about him it was like she literally was like pk you suck yeah like you're dating a cassio i'm a Ferrari I don't know all this shit yeah that was wild so then flowers came the next day yeah I feel like this a hot take another TikTok I could be viriling right now you really should I think it came a day after and it was like alluding to this relationship yeah like Shakira literally just yeah like spelled it out for us Shakura just sold it out and Miley's
Starting point is 00:39:00 was a little like eluding. I don't know. I think it felt to me, and I love Miley, like, maybe it was like, I feel like with Shakira, do you just want to say Shakira, Shakira? Every time. I know. I feel like with Shakira's like, she was angry. She wanted to do this. Yeah. It was for realties. Yeah. And I feel like with Miley, it was maybe like to get some, like, attention on it. Well, she dropped it on Liam's birthday. Right. So I just feel like it was a little, I feel like Thursday's a stronger word and desperate. but it's a stronger word.
Starting point is 00:39:31 Was Reckin Ball after the breakup? Yeah. Well, the first breakup. Oh. Yeah. So, yeah, I feel like for me it didn't really do it as much just because, I don't know. It just felt kind of forced. Like the song, though.
Starting point is 00:39:48 I mean, I think I need to listen a little more to get it. You're on TikTok, though, and it's like that's sound. That's where I got hyped on it. Yeah, yeah, that's fair. That's fair. Okay, what about Austin Butler's Elvis voice and the fact that he is dating? You posted something, didn't you? About how he was literally meeting his now girlfriend when she was like...
Starting point is 00:40:05 Well, no. You really fell in up. I did. Yeah. It's Vanessa, his egg, met Kaya, his current. And you see, Vanessa's like us right now. She's like, you know, a woman. Yes.
Starting point is 00:40:18 And Kaya was like nine. Yeah. Listen, I, first of all, I want to say Vanessa, Bravo, for discovering him before we did. Because when he was dating Vanessa Hudgens for like 10 years, I remember being like, who's that emo weirdo? You know, she's hanging out with? And all of a sudden he like, you know those movies where someone cuts their hair and they're like hot all of a sudden?
Starting point is 00:40:40 Yeah. And I usually like long hair and guys. But for him, I don't know, it was like hiding his face. And now I'm like, he's the hottest. Like he's beautiful. And I usually am not into blonde so much, but he's very attractive. So to me it's like, is it a little crazy stuck in the voice? Yes.
Starting point is 00:40:56 Do I care? No. now like I talk in the voice talking that voice he also is honest about it like he's like I did the voice for two years like it might be stuck think about people who moved to Australia for two years and they have like a slight accent because you're like well I've surrounded myself with it he was doing like the method acting is that it's called where you like fully immerse yourself into the character he was really living it he should maybe like step out though like yeah yeah like get a little help on that because like that's dark I know and also like I found a clip actually of him
Starting point is 00:41:27 before and I posted it. And it's not the same. Yeah. Like, it's not the same. No. Like, it was a different voice.
Starting point is 00:41:33 It was still a little like there's some, like, yeah, it's not like completely, you know, crazy. But yeah, he's talking in the voice. Um, and it's pretty crazy. But he's still fucking hot and him and Kaya together give like a list energy. They remind me of like Zendaya and Tom. And Tom or even like more. I feel like they're kind of like the Brad and Jen.
Starting point is 00:41:57 I don't know. Very attractive. It's actually obnoxious how attractive they both are. And she's like obsessed with him. I don't know. He probably likes her, but every time they're together, there are like TVA photos, but you see her just like can't keep her hands off.
Starting point is 00:42:12 Really? Yeah. Well, how old is she now? 20, maybe like two. And how old is he? Maybe he's like 30. Oh. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:21 Yeah. Yeah, he's beautiful. Chase Stokes from Outer Banks, Kelsey Ballerini. Babe, then you all. are up. This is like really niche. No? I don't know. Yeah. You're really up on your gosh. I am. Yeah. I actually noticed. Well, I'm friends with Kelsey. Oh. So did you know? I don't. No, I didn't. Oh, really? We're not that good of friends. Yeah. We, like, we both have mutual friends and we like, we'll text once in a while, but it wouldn't be one where she's like, guess what I'm dating?
Starting point is 00:42:50 Did you watch out her banks? No. I didn't even know who he was. I did Google. Oh, so he was really big from that show and he was dating like one of the co-stars who's really big from that show yeah I saw they did like the little insta drop yeah they love doing that like oh that's such a soft launch
Starting point is 00:43:06 yeah it was like on the third carousel right not showing their faces it has to be on the like third it has to be in the middle yeah I think it's a I think it's a hot relish no yeah totally yeah oh my gosh they're beautiful and that's so cute and
Starting point is 00:43:19 I know she was like going through it with the divorce and wait she's how old is she I think she's 30. Yes, she was dating another, or married to another country singer from freaking Australia. Oh, really? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:33 You could be a country singer from Australia? Apparently. Really? Yeah. You don't have to be from the country? I guess not. Chase Stokes is 30. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:43:42 Oh. I thought he was really young. He might be too much of a pretty boy for me. Like, this is very like, oh, wow. Yeah. Very, it's different than Austin. Do you get what I mean? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:53 Because for some. Some reason, even though he has a more masculine face, Austin's is still more manly. He's got like a baby masculine face. Yeah. I don't know how to describe it. Maybe he's one of those people that in person. Yeah, I don't know. Lots of spray tan over here.
Starting point is 00:44:08 Yeah. Oh my God. Are there lip fillers or do you think it's his lips? I don't know, but he also has like frosted tips, which is interesting. Oh, that's another issue. Yeah. Oh. Let me zoom in on that.
Starting point is 00:44:20 What is that? That's a fishnet shirt. Oh. Okay. I mean, MGK could pull it off. not sure if he can yeah okay okay interesting we like him more rugged can we can we talk about um pete davidson for a second yeah are you attracted yes and no okay like i kind of get it because i love a funny guy mm-hmm and he's hilarious and like i don't know i like his style
Starting point is 00:44:46 yeah like he has a stylist he does yeah he's like not what you think well that's not uh tell me more Well, just I mean that like my intuition about him has been pretty much confirmed by a lot of different sources that would know that I always said I had this gut feeling that like he looks like this like pot smoking mom's basement basement living comedian does doesn't like the fame guy and I was always like wait you guys like that doesn't add up. Yeah. Like he's trying to date these really hot famous women. He's kind of loving it. Yeah. Like, you could tell he kind of lives for it. He wants to be a movie star, you know, he doesn't want to.
Starting point is 00:45:28 A lot of these comedians, especially from S&L, like, they live for comedy. Like, put them in the comedy cellar all night and all day. Pete was like, I'm removing my tattoos. Like, he wants to be like Brad Pitt. So I was kind of like, something isn't adding up. Like, and for me, like we talked about like the authentic thing, I don't care if you're thirsty. Right. But like, don't like when you want to make the.
Starting point is 00:45:52 world think that you're like the least thirsty but you're actually the thirsty so i kind of found out that my what i think is true because think about it katelyn like if he didn't want to take these really famous hot women then he wouldn't and if he didn't want to take amrata to the next game then he wouldn't he could have not done that and that whole paparazzi i don't know if you saw it but it was so bizarre for the baseball or best no they met up like a different night and paparazzi came and it was like weird like it looked like they totally had them come but people was like like pretend. I don't know. It was a lot and I was kind of like, you're going to date Amrata. Like that is the most. Yeah. Like that is the most like,
Starting point is 00:46:30 PR thing you could do. It's like going to Georgia Baldi is in L.A. Like you know where to go if you don't want to be seen, you know. Yeah. And I just feel like he's that guy that gets away with being really like kind of thirsty for the fame. And he's like a stylist to make him look like he's in his own basement. Right. So I'm saying he has a stylist and he like, you know, gets professional manicures. And I heard he's really. really into like, well, Kim said this in a lot of interviews. He loves skin carry, like goes to the Derm like every day. So he's not what he looks like.
Starting point is 00:46:59 He's not this like, I don't give a shit. I know. Which I'm sure he's like, and by the way, though, I did hear it still super nice. Yeah. And sweet and all these things. But listen, the first time I saw him was I got to go see Kim at S&L. Yeah. Like I was in the audience.
Starting point is 00:47:17 Yeah. It was really cool. And I remember seeing Pete on the like side. stage he was like watching yeah and I was like I get it like I remember just like wanting to watch him instead of the show like he was just standing there in his stupid like socks and burks or something sipping a beer being all tall yeah watching them on I'm like do you have to be standing here you could probably be backstage you want us to see you I always have these thoughts but um he had he does have it I feel like he does have the energy like the BD walk in the room but there's something
Starting point is 00:47:48 not completely authentic there for me I feel like okay I'm now I'm going to see that Now you're going to, I mean, when he dates the next, like, Celeb, you're going to be like, wait, you could not be dating. Right. These people. Yeah. And stop acting like you don't give a shit. You give a shit.
Starting point is 00:48:01 He gives a lot of shit. He shows up to red carpets all like, he had that premiere with Katie Quoko. What's her name? Yeah, I don't know how to say the last name. I love her. Coalco. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:14 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Something like that. They had a movie together meet cute. And she, like, made fun of it. She was like, look how he showed up.
Starting point is 00:48:18 But it's like, that's his vibes. like look like you don't give a shit, you know? Like wearing a hoodie to a fucking movie premiere, you know? Right carpet. Yeah. That's so interesting. I know. Okay.
Starting point is 00:48:30 The Bachelor. I told you I like on my podcast, like I kind of gave up on it. Yeah. Listen, I watch a, I watch, well, I won't say a lot of reality TV, but I kind of like a more fast moving, less predictable format. Yeah. So they're losing me and then not being able to keep up with the time. It's like.
Starting point is 00:48:50 I don't want the first eight weeks of these bitches fighting. I know. Or these men bitches fighting. I know. Like, that's, it's so boring to me. I'm on my phone the entire time. Definitely won't watch it live. Always like a day after to avoid the commercials.
Starting point is 00:49:06 But so many people are saying that they're not going to watch sex season. But then you get the ratings back. You're like, well, everybody's still watching. Well, the thing is here. Like, when I watch Love is Blind, did you watch Love is Blind? Like the way they did, it was like pods, meeting, engagement, boom, boom, boom. And you're like, we got through so much. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:22 It's so fun because you didn't get a chance to get bored of the pods because they were engaged in five minutes. It's so true. The format is smooth best lately. So with The Bachelor, it's like, how long are we going to have to see? Yeah. Fucking different Danielle's we don't care about for. So I feel like change it up.
Starting point is 00:49:37 Stop with the like villain girl and the, you know, cat fights. And we got to do something different. We do actually care more about the relationships. Like, give me the hometowns. I feel like the format is so dated. and it's really wild to me that they're not updating it. It's like night one is so fun and then you're like bored until it's like the final four. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:55 Yeah, I get that. What would your limo entrance be if you were on The Bachelor? My God, Caitlin, what would it be? I don't know. I would be like, I'm too cool for this. Like, I'm not bringing anything. You would just like walk up and be like this. Oh, you know what I would do.
Starting point is 00:50:07 I'd be like the high five and then do this and then walk in. I'd be like, you know, I'd put like a ribbon on me and it'd be like, I'm the present or something. Really lame. Do you have to do an entrance? No. really you can come as is yeah you can just go so bitches aside
Starting point is 00:50:22 come in like in cat suits and shit by them no I mean producers definitely give them like tips wait what did you think what do you think about
Starting point is 00:50:31 Grega and Vanessa Victoria right I don't know what I think about it I don't think Are you close with Katie? Yeah but Katie could care less
Starting point is 00:50:44 couldn't care less she has been dating great. Oh, good. Yeah. Good. I need to have her on to talk about who she's been dating because she texts me and I was like, damn, girl. Well, he's cute. Greg? Yeah. Oh, he's so cute. And she's like hot. Yeah. So it like makes sense on that level, you know? They're like fun to watch because they're another one of those couples where you're like, wow, you're both really good looking. Yeah. They're both really good looking. Yeah. Yeah. I get. I'm not. Yeah. I'm not. I'm not so good at watching tons of shows.
Starting point is 00:51:19 But then I get really obsessed. Yellowstone, you have to watch with Jason. I tried episode one. I know. The horse died and I was like, I'm out. I know.
Starting point is 00:51:26 But this is what I tell people. Plow through. You'll watch, like, next time we'll talk, you'll be like, I mean, I'm moving to Montana, like putting on my cowboy boots.
Starting point is 00:51:36 It's just so good. I just started Ginny and Georgia. So cute on Netflix. That's a cute show. Your honor on Showtime is really good. You know what? February is going to be an insane. month for Bravo stuff.
Starting point is 00:51:48 It's going to be Vanderpump Rules. Did you see the trailer for the new season? I have not. Insane. Are you a van... Did you watch Vanderpump Burles? Not really. I love Lisa.
Starting point is 00:51:55 It's so good. Like, I'll get into it. I'll get into it. They're old seasons we're like just shit you've never seen. Summer House is coming back. Oh, yeah. Jersey's coming back. What do you watch like Housewives?
Starting point is 00:52:06 No, I've never seen an episode of any Housewives. Stop. Yeah. So what do you watch? I watch like dark documentaries. Did you watch the Hatchet? Yes. Kai?
Starting point is 00:52:16 What do you think of a? What do you think about it? Yeah, he was a troubled soul. I felt like when it ended, I was like, why I have questions? Yeah, I have so many questions. That was crazy. Yeah, the poor guy. He was definitely like a damaged little soul.
Starting point is 00:52:30 Like in his mom locked him in a room. Yeah. That's, I mean, what thing? Childhood, whatever? Like, childhood. He should go to the retreat. Yeah, you should come to the retreat. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:39 Kai. Kai, if you're listening from jail, come to a retreat with me. No, that was a good one, though. I watched that too. That was really good. I'll give you some good, dark ones. Okay. This is kind of random, but to wrap it up, it's 20, 23.
Starting point is 00:52:50 But I'm not done talking about New Year's yet. So I saw this article about anti-bucket lists. So things you absolutely never want to do in your life. And I thought we would talk about what would be on ours. Like mine, for instance, running a marathon, anti-bucket list. With you, I wrote a meme after the marathon, like wrote something. Yeah. And to the point where I was like, should this be merch?
Starting point is 00:53:15 Because it was just like so I meant it so much It was like I feel really good about not running Yeah There was not a part of me And that was it just like I feel really good about not running That should be merch I didn't look and be like Why am I not you know dying? Because they die some of them
Starting point is 00:53:32 Yeah You know I did this whole thing I was like These fucking marathons You know They're always in bad weather Yeah People die Or like get dehydrated
Starting point is 00:53:41 Like diarrhea and you vomit And like shit themselves Like no thank you and listen all the things that people do to prove to themselves that they can I don't have that thing yeah my thing to prove to myself is like get on the plane tomorrow and like don't be anxious I'll be like I mean you're a big girl like don't cry yeah like mine are really small I don't need to run marathons to prove to myself I don't need to have like you know so with you on that 100% um skydiving yeah I anti bucket list I want to skydive yeah
Starting point is 00:54:11 I mean how didn't they have you do that on a bachelor day I know I didn't get to do anything really crazy like that. No. No, I don't. I have no. I mean, my dates were so weird. I like went to Costco. Oh. And yours, it wasn't like you were in the pandemic or something. No. That's, yeah. If I got like a weird, I wouldn't even go in a pilot P helicopter. Yeah. You would. Yeah. I'd be like, I'd be like this helicopter is from 1978. Okay, so no running, no desire. what about sex tapes would you make one no what about it if it like got you to that next level of your career wait you mean like leaked it yeah and it was good no no yeah oh yeah either anti-sex tape did you watch kim kardashian no is it good mm-hmm really i watch it with friends is like a fun thing
Starting point is 00:55:07 oh maybe i'll do that it's like if it's funny now you're watching it like you know in a sexual way yeah not like to get off yeah it's wild that it became so crazy because it's pretty like Like, I wouldn't say PG, but it's not like, it's not too crazy. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. But I wouldn't do a sex date. Even though I'm very comfortable about being naked, like my husband, whenever I go places, he's like, he just worries that I'll go there and just take my clothes off.
Starting point is 00:55:31 You know, like, if I'm like, if I'm like, I went to a styling appointment yesterday, I was telling you. And they were like, here's like, I'll just get undressed here. Like, I don't care about addressing. I'm the biggest nudie booty ever. Yeah. Jason was so weirded out by that when I first met him now. he's like you're like oh my god the prank that he played on you wait you played on him yeah i won't forget jason that face haunts me what what i do well i're what is it
Starting point is 00:55:58 and his hair is crazy wait why is his hair so crazy was he just working out or something i don't know that thing that was a good i mean you're crazy i'm really trying to think about this year did he end up getting you yeah he got me back i can't believe i fell for it because It was April 1st. He got a comedian. He also asked, like, his followers somehow without you knowing, I think. He did? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:56:21 I don't know. But he's me when I saw him. He got me. He had this guy who's a comedian and actor interview me and said, he got somebody to say to me, like, hey, would you do my friend's podcast? He's just going to do a 20-minute segment on, like, women empowerment. Like, but kind of like, he's an ex-military guy. He's kind of, like, harsh.
Starting point is 00:56:42 And so I was like, okay, I'll do that favor for. you. And so I get on this Zoom and he's like getting my name wrong. He's mixing me up with the wrong Bachelorette. He's like, did you buy it? Yes. And I'm sitting there and then he was really rude to the other girls on the call. And I was like, I thought this was supposed to be women empowerment. He goes, yeah, it is. And he was just so rude. And I was like going to cry. And then Jason like walked in was like Gabriel Fools. I was like, oh my God. Yeah. Was it like good in the moment? Yeah, it was really good. Yeah. It was good. Well, yours was better. I need everybody. to think about April Fools.
Starting point is 00:57:16 No, that was so good. I mean, the fact that you won't get it out of your head is one thing, but I can't get Jason's disheveled hair. I know. I can't get it out of my head either. Oh, my God, it was so good. He was terrifying. And he kept hanging up on me to go see on Instagram what he did.
Starting point is 00:57:32 So then I was, like, holding him my laughter, but I was recording and I'd be like, what? And then he'd hang up and I'd be like, oh, my God. Oh, it's so good. I feel like you can't keep on trying. I know. I can't do it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:44 I think we should just let it go. Yeah. I mean, he's never not going to know any. He's not going to be off guard now. That's what I thought. Like on April 1st. I was like, nothing will fool me today. And then that.
Starting point is 00:57:55 I was like, holy shit. How did I feel for that? Anyways. Anyway. Thank you for being on my phone. Oh, my God. Of course. I'm Caitlin Bristow.
