Off The Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe - Ariana Biermann | What Really Happened with Liam & Charlie on Next Gen NYC!
Episode Date: September 22, 2026#982. Ariana Biermann is on the vine, and she’s finally telling her side of what really went down on Next Gen NYC. After ending the relationship that had defined most of her adult life, Ari...ana thought she was ready for a fresh start — until one guy felt a little too real, another felt dangerously familiar, and suddenly she found herself in a situation she never saw coming.Ariana opens up about falling hard for Liam, why him telling her he loved her sent her into a full “crash out,” and the decision she made with Charlie that changed everything. She reveals who actually told Liam about the kiss, what happened after he found out, and why she believes she may have sabotaged something that could have been really good. Plus, she gets into the friendships that shifted behind the scenes, what viewers didn’t get to see, and a much happier chapter: watching Brielle get ready to walk down the aisle.Part 1 of the Next Gen NYC reunion left us with questions. You're listening to Off the Vine with Caitlin Bristow.
Hey everybody, welcome to Off the Vine.
I'm your host, Caitlin Bristow, and today's guest is someone.
We've literally watched growing up in front of our eyes from Real Housewives of Atlanta to Don't Be tardy to now her show Next Gen.
Ariana Bierman is here and she is navigating life after ending a relationship, maybe getting back into a relationship, maybe being in a triangle of relationships, but we get to watch it all unfold on this season. Today we're talking about literally all of it, relationships, the reality of filming your life when you're still living it. What really happened with Hudson, Liam, and Charlie, the friendships that's changed the season and what viewers didn't see and kind of everything that she's learning about herself along the way. So please welcome Ariana Bierman.
you're Italian but you're from Atlanta yes did you grow up in Atlanta I did born and raised really and then
what made you you move to New York for the show yes it was kind of my final like pushing to get here
because I've this is my dream since I was 10 really yes I always tell everyone I used to hold it my mom got me
a taxi snow globe from New York and she was on like a press trip thing and I used to hold it and like
be like one day I'm going to live here one day I'm going to live here oh it's all happening
so it really did happen and this was like just the final thing to get me there oh my gosh cool okay
So what's your favorite things about New York so far?
Because I'm having struggles.
I love it and I'm overwhelmed.
Yeah.
I love how fast pace.
That's how I think.
That's how I move.
That's how I walk.
But I think the walking around aspect of it, I love that.
Like, I love it.
And I can people watch all day.
Okay.
I totally am aligned on that.
I feel like it's so walkable.
You can literally get anywhere.
I hate Uber's, which is great.
Do you take the subway yet?
I do.
Right now I live in Brooklyn.
So it makes more sense to take the subway.
obviously into the city a lot, but I had like a few weird experiences in the winter, so I don't like to take it in the winter.
Oh, see, my problem would be the summer. I feel like it's gross.
But there's more people, so I'm not like alone. Like I was like going to the gym at like 7.30 in the morning with like a bunch of, it was just not a vibe.
And I was like, you know what? I'm actually, I'm going to skip the gym.
Yeah. The subway I just haven't got there yet and I want to because I feel like I want to be a local.
I don't like still, I would rather get. And I can know that's terrible because I like live in New York.
I should be like, oh my God, but I would rather get in an Uber.
Oh, Uber's making me sick, though.
I feel like they all make me car sick.
I wish I could drive, though.
That's what I miss.
But who, okay, so you drove in Atlanta.
Yes, yes.
There's no point to drive here at all.
That's crazy, though.
Growing up in Atlanta, your whole life, and then when did you get here?
I moved here a little over two years ago.
Okay, so have you, like, found your rhythm?
Have you found your, you go to Phoenix for hair?
But have you found, like, your lashes, your...
I have, and you know what?
I have great people who surround me.
Like Amira, every time I want to find a makeup artist, hair person, somewhere to get anything done, I look at who Amira follows.
Because I trust her where I get my Botox in New York, I go there.
Really?
Yeah.
I need a spot.
I, Valor Medical.
Okay.
Great.
Where is that?
For Corey.
It's in, it's right by here, actually.
It's not far away.
It's right next to the Virgin Hotel.
Okay.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, so it's not far at all.
And they're great.
Yeah.
Do you feel like you have new life here?
I do.
I feel like this is a totally different world.
It is.
And I think that, you know, I can eat.
I love that I can eat everything here. There's so much. I wish it was more healthy options.
There's not. I know. I just ordered sweet green because I'm like, that's like, that's like pureita.
I got a purevita every day. I saw that on my postmates app. I should have done that.
Literally every day. I think it's hard though to make friends here. Yes. I don't know like how to like most of the people that I'm friends with. 95% of them, I would say, are on next gen with me.
That's so true. Do you want to make friends outside of the show? Yeah. You know, I have met some, like I have a best friend from my gym. Yeah. And like I've met a few.
people at my gym, but like other than that. Well, it's also hard in your world because you've been on TV
since what age? Since I was five. Five! Yeah. That's, do you love that? Do you love that? You've had
that experience or do you wish it was a different way? I feel like I don't really know any different,
you know? Because when I was in high school, I was like, I absolutely hate this. I never want to do
this. I'm really over this. Yes. It was like annoying. I would go to school and I'd come home and I'd
film and like it was just like annoying, you know? And it was like, I just want to be in high school.
I just want to like live and do my thing. And then here I am now doing it myself. So it's like,
you know, I'm very grateful. The world is also so different.
now because you can like build a brand and a business and then use that as a platform to showcase it and you can use it to make friends and now you're just so used to it and I feel like is it natural for you to have a breakup on TV? Was that like just felt like a natural thing to do or were you like oh no it definitely I wouldn't say it felt natural yeah you know I've never really had brought somebody you know I never had a breakup on TV though ever and it also that wasn't like of course the breakup like we obviously had been broken up
for a little bit of time. And that was like a conversation we were just having kind of about
everything to talk about it. But it was definitely weird. And you know, I don't recommend
I don't recommend breaking up and then deciding to film a show for the next two and a half
months when you're in your like crash out era of your life. But relatable. Yeah. I mean,
I started off very strong. Yeah. You know, and I meet somebody really great. And then I kind of
start to crash out. It was a delayed crash out. Delayed crash out. We've all had one of those.
But for people who don't know your story, you and Hudson were together for almost 10 years, which is so crazy because you're so young.
It's 10 years on and off.
I would say because we dated other people.
I've dated a few other people, as is he.
But this time around, we were together for three and a half years.
I remember your mom talking about it because for people who don't know, I also filmed a show with your mom Kim.
And when she first came into the house, I remember telling her, I'm like, I'm scared of you.
I am so scared.
And then I realize, like, that's just who she is.
She's so nice.
She's the best.
I love her.
What you see is what you get.
That's exactly who she is.
Yeah, which is who wouldn't like that?
It's just it was intimidating at first.
But I remember her talking about just like you and your sister have had long-term relationships off and on, but still long-term, which is, I mean, I went through guys like crazy in my 20s, but do you ever feel like you're missing out on that era?
You know, no, I don't.
Because I, yeah, I just don't.
Well, you said also something that stood out to me.
You said husband didn't cheat.
There wasn't this huge betrayal.
But maybe he stopped showing up in the relationship the way you needed him to.
Yeah. So looking back, do you think he got comfortable because you've been together for so long?
Because I feel like that happens in a lot of relationships.
Of course. I definitely think that that played a huge factor into it. I mean, we'd live together for two years.
And I think like kind of as the season goes on, again, I never know what they air. So it's like, I don't want to like fully talk about things until I'm like, well, are they going to air it?
Because there is like a lot more that went into it. And I kind of talk about that as like the season goes on.
Yeah. And so I think you'll see like a little bit of the other things that also contributed to my decision too.
Okay. When and at what point? Because I think a lot of people go through relationships where they're like, we're kind of growing apart or we maybe aren't showing up the same way that we used to or the way we need to. So at what point did you realize like this is not going in the direction it needs to go? I honestly gave him, I gave him a year. I said you have a year. Get it together. This is what I need. Yeah. I love you. You're an amazing person. Like I just need you to grow with me. I need you to grow up. I need you to do X, Y, and Z. And I gave him a year. And? And. And, and. And, and. And. And. And. And. And. And. And. And. And. And. And. And. And. And. And. And. And. And. And. And. And. And. And. And. And. And. And. And. And. And. And. And. And
that year. He didn't. And he didn't. And you were like, I'm a woman of my word. I am a woman of my word.
And I also think that I not only did it for me and to like understand what I deserve and where I should be at,
I also did it for him because I think that he was extremely comfortable and that there wasn't going to be an
aspect of growth that he could do with me because we were stuck in this repetitive cycle of just like,
no matter what at the end of the day, we are our best friends. And so we laugh and we have fun. And then
things get swept underneath the rug and then it's not dealt with them the way that it should have been.
Where does that come from for you to know what you need to be so confident and sure and to not sweep things under the rug?
A lot of people would until, you know, I feel like I found out who I was in like late 30s.
Oh, I have absolutely still no idea who I am. Let's not be fooled. And I think that I kind of realized that that was holding me back from discovering who I am and kind of discovering what I need.
But certain things that I honestly thought about like having a family and I thought about like we've been.
been together for three and a half years. I originally said I had a five year plan of getting married.
And if we'd been together for five years, that was coming a year and a half later. And I was like,
I just don't see a world in which a year and a half from now, I'm going to be, you're going to be ready
to get married or you're going to be ready to do any of the things. And it was a lot.
I talk about the benefit of hindsight a lot, being able to look back. And does he see that you did,
you were doing him a gracious favor by stepping away. Yeah. Yes. And there was never, especially not on the
beginning, we'll definitely see like a few times where we're a little bit irritated with each other
that's bound to happen during a breakup. But you, like we kind of, we've also talked like a lot about
it. I think it was the best thing for both of us. Yeah, absolutely. A lot of times, I mean, whether you got
back together or not, which we learned that you did, but that is where you learned so much about yourself
because you've known yourself with him on and off for 10 years. So what did you realize about yourself when
you guys actually broke up? I realized a lot. I realized that. I realized that.
I don't really know what my passion is, what I kind of want to do with my life. Like, it's very a blessing
I get to do all of this. And then I'm on a reality show with some of my best friends. And I get to do
brand deals and I get to do all these things. But obviously, none of this is guaranteed forever.
And I never want to be in a bad spot financially. I always want to be like on top of it and always
have the next thing coming. So I think it's kind of about me finding my passion, which I'm still kind of
trying to figure out right now throughout time. And also just kind of like who I am without him.
at the end of the day, no matter what the hardest thing for me has always been, that what shatters, like, and breaks my heart is him being out of my life. Like, I don't ever want that. Like, he's like my family. I always say, like, he's been in my life for 10 years. I've seen him with dating other girls and we were hanging out or we were talking. Like, he's, you know, and so I think that it's just like a really, a world without him and it just sounds terrible. Oh, well, that's kind of romantic. Is there something about the breakup that people make assumptions about or misunderstand that you wish they knew?
more about? I think that, you know, everyone thinks that this was for a show, like, for this show.
And I think a lot of people comment it and send it to me all the time. And it's like, to be honest,
you will see some of my behavior. And I think you'll know pretty quickly this is not for a show.
I wish it was because then it would have, I wouldn't have behaved in some of the ways that I did.
And maybe I would have put up a front instead of being really raw and vulnerable. I was going to say,
in what way? Do you feel like you were just cracked open? I, yeah, I, you know, you'll, again,
like as everything kind of progresses and things go on, it's, you'll see that this is definitely.
not fake. And also I'm just like not capable of that. And kind of the paths that he went down
and we weren't together, you'll definitely know that depending on what they air.
Depending on what they have a reunion coming up. So yes. When is the reunion? Do you have you filmed it yet?
No. Okay. When do you film it? Do you know? You're filming it soon. Yeah, we are filming it soon.
Unfortunately, I am like in, I've never done a reunion and I think it's going to be the longest day ever.
Well, they usually are. I know. How do you brace yourself for filming a new year? I have no idea.
Yeah, I'm like, I hear that people like to take beta blockers.
I think I need one.
I don't even really know what that is, but like I think that like I need one.
And I don't know if I'm going to be, I don't know, there's a lot that I have to answer for
because a lot of people are very invested in my relationship.
Yes.
And my relationships, all of them.
I was going to say, I think there's plural coming up.
But you also, you're in a single era.
That's allowed.
Thank you.
Remember that.
I will remember that and remind everybody at home.
What was the hardest part?
to film this season for you?
I think like the hardest part to film was definitely, I mean, there's a few, to be honest.
I think that there was also, like I've said, there was a lot of things that were happening
behind the scenes in my life and like things I can't talk about.
And then things like with Hudson that if he wants to share, that's his story to share.
But things that were going on that kind of contributed to me to start going down a path.
That was not the best version of myself.
And I think that that was hard to film.
And like I would go home and think about it like, oh, God, I know I'm not making the best decisions.
Like I know I'm not doing the best things.
and I think watching it back is going to be pretty brutal.
Are you able to maybe see from a perspective of giving yourself a little grace or forgiveness?
I have forgiven myself because it's not a way to live, you know, and talk to, done my therapy
about it. I've, you know, talked to God. I'm a woman of God. And I was not acting in the best ways as somebody like that as well.
And I can't live my life. And I'm very good at forgiving other people.
Forgiving myself is definitely something that's a little harder for me to do. But I've spent months attempting to forgive
to forgive myself and I think I have. I knew I could not walk into this reunion with any like
not forgiving myself. Yeah, good. I'm glad because I, I mean, I feel like I'm always such a like
old lady when I talk to you girls because I'm 41 and I like look back and I'm like, God, I made so
many mistakes or I did. But and I've held myself accountable and I've been full of shame and
certain things. And that's always, it's good to like at least feel something. Know that that does not
feel right. Know that this is not how you want to feel again. You always grow from it. Exactly. I learned a lot.
And I know that I will not be in a situation like that again in my life.
And I think had I have not learned some of the things that I learned in the process of all of that, the aftermath of it, everything.
Yeah.
I wouldn't have grown and understood that a lot of things that I understand now.
Yeah.
So at the end of the day, everything happens for a reason.
And everyone at home watching, like, how old are you?
I'm 24.
Yeah.
Put yourself in a 24-year-old sheet.
Like me at 24 being filmed, hey, oh, no.
Hell, no.
Okay, I love to find a deal.
There's something just so satisfying about finding something that you already wanted and then realizing you absolutely do not have to pay full price for it.
It genuinely just feels like a big win.
That's why I've been having so much fun with What Not.
So I'll explain.
What Not is the largest live shopping marketplace in the United States.
And it's basically shopping in real time with actual people.
So there are sellers live 24-7 with fashion, beauty, handbags, jewelry, collectibles, so much more.
and you almost never pay full price.
Now I somehow ended up in a live.
I did it with a seller who had all of these beautiful crystals.
If you know me, I'm obsessed with crystals.
I obviously was immediately invested.
And I ended up buying a few.
And I loved that I could actually talk to the seller.
So I got to see everything up close, ask questions, and learn a little bit about what I was
getting while I was shopping.
And you know what?
That's what makes what not so fun.

Okay, you know when you're in the shower,
your brain suddenly decides now, I think, is a good time,
to investigate something completely random.
So my latest shower thought is, why do we say,
sleep like a baby?
when babies are famously terrible at sleeping.
Like, who came up with that?
You know, why are we still saying it?
Why am I thinking about this while I'm washing my hair?
I don't have the answers yet,
but I am now weirdly invested in figuring out where I came from.
I like going to the source, but where did the source start?
And honestly, that is the idea behind Klarna, okay?
Giving your brain a little more room to wander to things like this.
Klarna is your smarter everyday money partner built around the idea
that money should work with people, not against them.
you can keep things in one place with flexible ways to pay, cashback that builds automatically,

What was the biggest culture shock to be single and go into a world of dating?
Um, I don't know.
Everyone says it's so hard to date in New York and I met somebody great right off the bat.
Liam.
Oh, that was the one right off the back.
Yeah.
I mean, yeah, a month later or whatever it was.
Right.
What stood out about him to you?
Everything.
He's amazing.
He's so funny.
Like, he is just like, I think we, I always say we laugh like nobody, literally I've
probably ever laughed with.
It's hilarious.
Just everything with us.
Yeah.
He has so many things he wants to do and like so many different passions and so many things
that just like drive him.
And I think he's really creative and he's an honest person.
What's happening?
Why are we not with him?
Like, did.
Did he catch feelings quicker for you?
Like, were you in a different place?
I think you'll definitely, again, see as it kind of goes on.
But I was balls to the wall ready to dive in.
And then I think it got really real.
And it scared me.
And I felt my feelings, like, how deep and strong my feelings were for him.
And it, like, sent me down like, oh, my God.
Like, I'm, oh, my God.
What am I doing?
Like, I'm, you know, I don't want to hurt this man.
And then I think that kind of is where I began my crash out is when I realized how serious and true it got.
and kind of how I was feeling about everything.
And I'm honestly not really used to like a super, like healthy.
Like he's extremely healthy.
Like it would be like a very healthy, safe relationship, not in a bad way and a good way.
I don't think I'm really used to that after speaking with my therapist.
Like Hudson and I grew up together, you know, so we've gone through every era together.
Yeah.
That's on nobody.
It's between me and him and everything that both of us, just kind of being 17, being 18.
But, you know, everything like that.
Yeah.
Some of the hardest years of your life.
Of course.
And so I think that I just was like, what is happening here?
So when you go now get into another relationship that feels safe, that feels healthy, what happened?
Why are we not still in a healthy, safe place?
Because of your crash out?
My crash out, yeah.
So your crash out, did you push it away?
I did.
And I did something and I hurt him.
Liam, you got yourself in a bit of a triangle.
Is that what it sounds like?
I did, you know.
Charlie, Charlie.
Oh, my God.
I he reminded me of like and like this is up and this is like what I'm learning about myself
of like some of the worst parts of Hudson some things and I saw the good in him through like those
worst parts and he really did show me a different side I really need you to feel validated here
that that is very normal like the way that I have like the next relationships I get into
all the time after one I'm always looking for either the opposite of what the other person didn't
have or I find the comfortability and what that person did have. So that's what I did. I had the opposite.
Liam was the opposite. There you go. I was like, I told my mom I'm going to marry him. You did?
I did. I said, I'm going to marry this man. Oh my God. I always said I was going to be my husband if I
ever walked away. Like I always said that. And then I had Charlie creeping up my ear. I mean,
he's been creeping up my ear for two damn years. You know, like I finally just gave him the time.
Whatever, I was flirting with him. It wasn't anything like that serious. And then Liam told me he loved me.
And that scared me so bad.
Why does that scare you?
Because I just was like, oh my God, I've only ever said I love you to one person.
And I've only ever meant it.
Well, I've said it to multiple people, but I've only ever meant it one time.
And I think that the idea of saying that again to somebody, I don't know.
I was scared.
I always said, I want to see you're good, you're bad, and you're ugly.
And I did.
It just wasn't.
There was no ugly.
Like, he just was a good person.
So did you subconsciously or consciously sabotage?
Absolutely.
Yeah.
Subconsciously sabotaged.
And there was a lot going on with Hudson.
I was hearing a lot of stuff from his family about how he was doing and it was really
stressing me out.
And then I just was like, you know, sometimes you pick the bad boy.
So what?
I kiss the bad boy.
Whatever.
Like, you know, whatever, because I forgive it myself.
I was so angry with myself for hurting Liam, for giving into the-
Because were you and Liam committed?
No.
I had had conversations with him stating like, this is not, we are not going to be, like,
this is not exclusive.
If I want to go on a date with somebody from a coffee shop, I'm going to go on a date with somebody
from a coffee shop, I'm going to go on a date. If I'm going to go do whatever, like, this has to be
this era in my life right now. And so then I, yeah, I kind of gave into the comfortability that
Charlie made me feel. And then also just the aspect of I did see the good parts in him. And I do believe
nine, I do believe quite a bit of that was manipulation. And I think he had kind of a whole plan
overall with me in Hudson.
But I don't want to say that for sure because I don't know.
Okay, I was going to ask. Are you sure you don't know?
Because that sounds, you don't know?
I don't know fully because he claims that's not true and that's not the case.
Okay. So from your perspective, what was really going on with you and Charlie? Was that like?
I never wanted to be with Charlie as my boyfriend. Okay.
That was never like in what world. Hello?
Yeah.
Like, no, in no world. But that's what made me comfortable with him. That's what made me like,
this doesn't matter. You know, like this is just like,
whatever. Like, this is like a no feelings. Like, yeah, it's fun to flirt with you and it makes me
happy and it's fun. But like, I'm not going to, I don't, you're not going to be the father
to my children. I'm not going to get into a relationship with you as if, like, never in a million
years. So like, I don't know. It's just like, I think that's what like Liam could have been a husband.
Liam could have been whatever. Like that I think is what scared the shit out of me.
And so this, this all happened. And then Liam, did you tell him or did he find out through?
Hudson calls Liam.
tells Liam I made out with Charlie.
Hudson did this?
Yes.
Hudson?
Was he trying to sabotage?
Absolutely.
He called my sister.
He called my friends.
He said, we've lost Ariana.
She's given in to Charlie.
We've lost her.
We've lost her.
Literally, we've lost her.
And so, yeah, he called, and he was the one who kind of told Liam, but I was going to tell
Liam.
Okay.
I did not want him to be blindsided.
This was obviously filmed.
It was obviously going to be shown.
I did not want him to be blindsided.
And I, yeah, he was pretty upset with me.
And was this, just for people who are watching and listening, this while we record,
I'm actually figuring this out in real time.
So it's not that I didn't watch.
I'm just trying to figure it out.
And I'm probably asking questions that people want to know at home.
So Liam was obviously very hurt by this.
And then he was like, I'm done with you.
Nope.
Okay.
We spent Christmas together.
Okay.
Yep.
And is this all filmed too?
No.
Okay.
So you spend Christmas together.
And I kind of was just like...
So he forgave you?
He did.
Okay.
He did forgive me.
And then, yeah.
It just, I still was just not in a great place.
Yeah.
And kept just doing a few things that were just not the best.
Do you think filming while like newly single and navigating all this made it easier to
make emotional decisions instead of logical ones?
Like, where you kind of like...
I think...
I act like a camera's not there.
Like, it just doesn't...
I don't live my life in like...
I clearly, I mean, there's so many things that I say that I'm just like,
hello, you're filming a TV show?
Why are you acting like you're sitting around by yourself or with, you know...
That's good, though, because that's what we want to see at home.
I know.
It's being real.
I can give that.
And it is very real and raw.
And so, like, when I'm making these decisions, keep in mind, I've never lived by
myself. I've never lived in an apartment by myself. I've never been single. I haven't been single
since I was 20 years old. And before that, I was only single for like a year or something like that.
And then I was living in my parents' house. Like I am living in New York City. I'm the only people I
know are the people on the same show. And I'm like, you guys, where else is I got to go? What am I
going to join Hinge? Maybe. I mean, no, Raya, I think we'll be in my near future. I just finally
got accepted after five years. Oh my God. I'm obsessed. I'm like, I feel like I'm living through.
you again like in my 20s. It's so fun. This is your time to be messy and figure it out.
I don't want to be messy with Hudson. I just want I want, I don't want to be messy with anybody.
I don't ever live the way that I was living ever again. Well, also, you have a lot going on in
your life, like personally, professionally and in every way. It's just like, it's okay to be a bit
of a mess sometimes. Yeah. Yeah, it's okay. Obviously, now, Charlie and Hudson had actually
become pretty close. When was that? Right. When we broke up? Okay. Hello? Like, what is happening?
And now they're no longer friends?
No.
I would say that me and Charlie kissing would probably...
That ruined it.
Which is actually...
I don't know.
It's actually...
Hudson had actually invited Charlie over to his house that night.
So we had kissed.
The finale was on Thursday.
Charlie and I had kissed that night.
Hudson knew about it on Friday.
And then by that night, him and Charlie were hanging out, kumbayaing at his house.
So I don't really know, you know.
I don't...
But there's definitely, I think, that when Hudson took a step back from quite a few things, he kind of realized.
Okay.
You know.
Does he not have like a jealous bone in his body or what?
Hudson.
Yeah.
He does.
So I think there was other factors at play.
Okay.
That he was not fully thinking clearly.
Is there something that viewers don't understand about the entire situation or are we really
seeing what we're getting?
Like getting, you know what I mean?
It's like this airing so long from now.
I don't know.
I think I got two episodes today.
But I don't know if it's fully, if anything's fully, you know, explained.
I think that there's a whole other half of.
things that come from Hudson's aspect, the side of things that he would have to explain.
Could you ever just be friends with him? I could. I don't think that he can do that. I've asked him.
He says no. He says no. He says no. And do you think yes? I think I could. So to me, I could never be in a
relationship where I could just see them as a friend and not romantically. So is that something you're
just figuring out day by day? I am just figuring out day by day. I think that it wouldn't be initially
that I would see him as a friend. I think that I have so much love for him and I care about him so deeply
that I really just want him to be happy.
So, like, if there is a point in time
where I need to take a step back
from being his girlfriend and only be his friend
and only just, like, be able to help him in any way
that I can as his friend,
I would always be willing to do that.
I just really want him to focus on himself right now
and kind of focus on just becoming the best version of himself
and just continuing to grow and find his passions as well.
And I think that's kind of what he's trying to do right now
and figure out.
Is it going to be hard to watch back the season,
obviously, knowing what happens,
or is he fully aware of everything?
I fully briefed him.
I was like, I need you to know the truth.
the whole truth and nothing about the truth.
This is what's happening.
This is what I remember.
This is what's coming.
This is what I've said.
I think I've said a few shitty things about you
because you were making me mad with the little behaviors
and little things you were doing.
And I was like, I don't want you to be surprised by anything.
And so I did warn him on everything that I do remember.
But I don't know if he's going to watch the season.
Ah, he might take that approach to just not watch.
Yes.
Is he able to stay offline?
No.
Because the story that just came out that said that
Charlie and I hooked up.
Well, what does that mean?
Like, I don't know. We made out.
We made out in the finale. Like, I don't know why.
That's it? That's, we kissed.
So you and Charlie were whatever, you were just...
We kissed in the finale. Oh. Okay.
That's what happened then. And so he's like, I'm going to delete my Instagram, blah, blah,
I'm like, look, I get it. I told you this was coming. I don't know who leaked it to the media.
I don't know what is happening right now, but unfortunately, like, this is a terrible decision that I made.
I have to live with it. I've forgiven myself. You say you've forgiven me. We can move on from it or
we can't. Yeah, because it's one thing I feel like when you can explain it, give him the heads up,
give them context. Imagine just came out of nowhere. No, and then for it to just, well, and then you believe,
then you read the comments and then the context isn't all there. And you're like, well, I already told you this.
Yeah. Yeah. It's, I mean, it's just, it's a toxic part of any relationship is social media.
Yeah. Which obviously the relationship stuff has been such a huge storyline.
this whole season.
And I think what's going to surprise people even more
is some of the friendships that have completely shifted.
Yes.
So, okay, is it shy?
Is that how you pronounce it?
Yeah.
Okay.
I feel like he found himself in the middle of all of this.
He ended up sharing information with Hudson about what was going on between you and
Liam, which created a lot of tension in the friend group.
So it was like all these people telling on everybody.
Yep.
So did you feel like he crossed the line and just wanted to hurt you?
Or what was that?
Shy.
Yeah.
No, I don't think he wanted to hurt me at all.
He definitely crossed the line.
I think he was trying to find a way to be like a bro with Hudson and like protect him.
And then I also think he was trying to find a way to like still be friends with me and whatever.
I don't think that it was ever an intentional thing by any means.
I think he wasn't like really thinking and just was trying to be like a guy.
Yeah.
Okay.
When did you find out that he'd been communicating with Hudson?
I knew that they had been hanging out, but he actually had called me before the House of Yes thing.
thing and he had called and asked or and told me that he had told Hudson about me flirting with Liam.
And I kind of was like, wait, what?
Like, why?
And it was before we were filming or we were doing anything.
So he was giving me the heads up.
And I like, didn't really process all the information because I had so much going on.
And then when I saw him, I was like, mother.
Why are you talking?
Like, just let me live, of course.
Okay.
So many times.
He's still profusely apologized.
So you guys can move forward.
He's my best friend.
What about Riley?
Yeah.
I love Riley.
Okay, good.
Because that's another friendship.
that's been getting a lot of attention this season.
Viewers have watched the two of you drift apart
and now it seems like you're no longer speaking, but...
I think in the Watch What Happens Live,
I meant she has not spoken to me since, like, the episode had come out.
Like, she hasn't reached out to me.
I think it got my words got a little bit misconstrued.
It's also a very, like, touchy subject with me.
I never want to, like, upset her.
And I just meant we hadn't spoken since it had come out.
Did the cameras capture something that had been brewing,
or did filming create tension?
I think it was a little bit of both.
But like I love Riley and I, you know, will always care about her and I always want to be her friend.
Did you understand where she was coming from when she said she needed more from you and a friend?
I did.
Okay.
Of course, because I feel like, you know what?
You never know how to be like the best friend you can possibly be to somebody all the time.
And so I'm always down to like listen and hear what she needs for me and stuff like that.
I think that the part that kind of threw me off a little bit was watching the app.
after show where she's basically talking about how I'm a shitty friend. And that kind of threw me for a
little bit of a loop and hurt my feelings. I was like in tears watching it. Because I was like,
wait, I'm so confused. Thought we were like past this and everything. And also I would say I'm
there for her quite a bit more than she's there for me. But I don't really care. You know,
we all have shit going on. I also don't reach out all the time and like, you know, it's okay. I can
deal with my own shit. But she said I wanted to have a going out friend. But in reality, I could
and drink and I wasn't going out. And I just wanted somebody to sit on my couch with me basically
while I cried. And so where do you guys stand today? She's, she's my friend. She'll always be my
friend, you know, no matter what. But yeah, we're good. All right, really quick break. I feel like
we all put so much effort into our skincare routines, our workouts, what we're eating. And then
the hair health is just one of those things that you don't really think about until you start
noticing changes. Now, for me personally, it has become something that I actually want to be proactive
about and that is why I've been taking Nutrafol for years. It's stayed in my routine. And the Nutrafol
Women's Formula has been upgraded to its most advanced version yet. I got it. It's 100% vegan,

somehow keeps making its way into your suitcase. I can have like 10 different options sitting in my
closet and I am still always reaching for the same few things every time I travel. It's silly.
My pack of hoodie has become one of those pieces. It is made from alpaca fiber in Peru and it's
ridiculously soft. Actually, it's softer than cashmere. It's warmer than wool, but still somehow
breathable. It's also thermo-regulating and odor resistant, which makes it so easy to wear on a flight.
Oh, it's so nice. You just throw it in the suitcase or just, you know, live in it at home like I do.
and I love that each hoodie is made start to finish in Peru
and has a hand-woven Inca ID honoring generations of knowledge and tradition.
There's an actual story behind what you're wearing.
It's very sweet.
Over 250,000 people have picked up a pack of hoodie, and I'll get it.
Mine has become one of those staples that I keep reaching for.
So to grab your packa hoodie, go to www.pakaapparel.com.
That's www. p-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-parel.com.
Who surprised you the most this season?
Um, I would say Ava.
Ava and I found a good friendship, actually, this season.
And we kind of started out this season, like, a little bit rough.
Um, and then as, like, the season goes on, we actually end up getting really close.
And we have, like, a really great friendship.
That's nice.
I love those surprises.
Yeah.
Who's completely different when the camera stopped rolling?
Um, I don't really know.
I feel like we're all pretty, pretty true to who we are.
That's great.
Like, to be able to do that at your guys's age on camera is very impressive.
Yeah.
and like, dare I say admirable?
Because it is.
I really couldn't have done it in my 20s.
I really couldn't have.
Who actually deserves more grace from viewers?
I would say, no, I don't know.
I feel like everybody could deserve a little bit of grace at times.
I think that I want people to always just remember that we are in our 20s, most of us, are in our 20s.
And so like with everything that happened with Riley, like I think she deserves grace.
She's just a girl figuring on.
our life. We're all going through a hard time and have a lot of stuff going on. How many times have
have people gone out and got too drunk? I have. How many times I made a fool of myself? Like,
hello? I have. I'm only 24. And I think that that deserves some grace. I think that some of the
things that kind of as the season will progress, there's some different situations that people deserve
grace for. And hopefully I get a little bit of grace for. Now, will you use your social media as a
voice for yourself to like speak up and get your side of the story and kind of. Definitely. Because
I like, that was when, when my season of The Bachelor, it came out, that's when, like,
Instagram stories started becoming a thing. And I was like, holy shit, I get to have a voice in this.
And I think that's so nice for people like you that you can, I mean, I know there's only so much
you can say, but you can give context. Yeah, no, definitely. And I mean, once the season wraps,
they think there'll be a lot that there is to say, I think the reunion is going to be insane.
Yeah. I mean, you've, you've had your fair share of reality TV experiences. I think it's so
crazy that you grew up on TV. And, I mean, your family's just gone through so much public.
changes in situations for so long that it's like, does that ever thicken your skin or is that
always something that's just so challenging? I think it's kind of always has its challenges,
definitely. I think as the season comes to an end, it's going to have its challenges for me.
Yeah. For sure. But I think it definitely has thickened my skin at the same time. Also, though,
I don't read any of that shit. Like, if I see an article, like, when I was like,
Oran hooked up with Charlie, I'm like, oh, good. No, no. No, no. Like, no, no. I freeze forgives me.
I'm out. Okay.
And where's Breel living right now?
She lives in Atlanta.
She is in Atlanta still.
And she's, I mean, let's move to something happier.
She's getting married.
She's getting married.
How long has she been with her?
What is his name?
Billy.
Billy.
Yeah.
They've been together for almost four years.
Okay.
And then how, what is that like watching your sister?
I'm in tears all the time.
I said, oh, I was like, your speech, because I were made of honor.
I'm like, I'm going to be in tears the whole time.
You're going to be so mad at me.
Because my sister, like, is not an emotional person like me.
Whereas I, I like, cry whenever I'm like, oh, my God, I love you so much.
I saw her in her dress, all of the dresses, she was trying on.
Every dress, I was like, oh my God, this is amazing.
I got to see a couple.
I did.
They're so beautiful.
And she looks unreal.
She's got such cool, like, visions and styles and like.
And she's so itty-bitty.
Yeah.
And like just, and he's amazing too.
So I think that this is just, this is what we need, you know?
Yes.
We need a little happy thing.
Absolutely.
Have you been so involved in helping her with everything?
As much as I can do.
She's texting me literally as all my way here.
Hello, did you see the most recent email?
because we have a bachelor'ser coming up.
And I'm like, okay, one moment, give me an hour.
What's the bachelor's going to be?
We're going to Turks.
Fun.
I know.
I'm pumped.
I'm so excited.
And we have, we're working with the company.
Batch boss, I think, maybe is what's called.
Yeah.
And it's going to be everything she wants.
And she's also best friends with all of my best friends, which is amazing.
How nice is that?
Because I'm like, this feels like it's my trip.
How nice is that?
It's amazing.
How many of you are going?
There's going to be nine or ten of us total.
Yeah.
So fun.
And how long are you going for?
We're going for like three nights,
four days. Is your mom going to be there? She might. We're trying to get her to make an appearance,
but it's hard because they switch on and off with the kids. Right, right. Yeah. That's priorities.
You've obviously spent your life in front of cameras, but it feels like this next chapter,
I feel like it's really yours. You know, like it's always been about the family and this.
It's kind of yours. So what excites you the most about this next chapter in your life?
I think like just honestly figuring out me. Yeah. I feel like I'm really going to take a step
back from everything and just focus on me, who I am, what that means to me, who I want to be.
And like, I really just want to help people. So how am I going to help people? What is my,
in which way can I achieve that in the best way possible? Yeah. And so I think that that's kind of
going to be what I'm focusing on and being as healthy and getting my body right and everything.
I feel that. Is fashion still something you want to pursue or you're into?
I would love to. I don't think I'm quite talented. I don't know. What? Moving to New York and seeing
everybody and I'm just like wow there's a lot more fashion here yeah but that could that can like I mean
you're only 24 you can this just let New York inspire you and start yeah no you've got you've got
you've got so much life ahead of you I'm excited for you um would you ever want to own your own business
I would love to yeah it's a dream of mine yes and is that what you're kind of trying to figure out like
what that looks like yes I have a few different ideas and it just kind of you get in the process
of doing everything I feel like you should just put yourself in situations in New York that
you're like this makes me uncomfortable and nervous I'm going to do it and then
and you could find a mentor out of it and somebody can just help you.
Literally what I try to do.
Yes.
You got to be uncomfortable to get comfortable.
Absolutely.
I'm always uncomfortable and I like it there.
Do you still love doing reality TV or do you ever think about stepping away?
I thought about stepping away this year.
Yeah.
It was a lot.
And the come down is what I call it of like filming back to back and then for two and a half
months, three months and then stopping filming and then just kind of the things that followed
and then thinking about my behavior, I really had to like, I told me.
My mom was like, I want to come home.
I want to see you.
I don't want to do this anymore.
I am like completely tapped out and honestly so drained.
She probably understands.
Absolutely.
And she was like, you don't have to.
Get home.
If you want to get home, come live with me, do whatever you want.
But it was really a lot.
And I don't think I have been in quite as dark of a place that I was in this January and
February.
I'm sorry.
Of this year.
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
It's true.
And you know what?
And you know what?
And so I think that's why this reunion is really stressful for me.
But I'm going to walk in with my head.
held high and tell whoever I need to tell to write the fuck off.
Yes.
I love hearing that.
You are, I feel like you have such a good mix of being like strong, independent, but also like,
vulnerable and willing to like hold yourself accountable.
I think it's a really good combination for your age.
Thank you.
I sound so old when I say your age.
Okay.

I'm going to play a little game with you before I let you go.
It's most likely to.
You can pick anyone in your family who's most likely to.
Am I family?
Yeah.
Okay.
Start the family group chat drama.
I don't know.
It's me, my mom or my sister.
We're all coming in with something now.
Accidentally spill a family secret.
Me.
Okay.
This is probably also you, but cry first at Briel's wedding.
Oh, me, for sure.
I'm going to cry.
I don't even think I'm going to be able to help her with a dress.
I'm going to be a fucking emotional wreck.
That's so sweet.
Who's most likely to make everyone laugh the hardest?
All of us.
I don't know.
I would say literally like me and my mom or my sister.
We are all have like such similar humors but also different.
Yeah.
So it's like a little bit of us.
Who's most likely to be late to everything?
All of us.
You guys are the same.
We all run on the same schedule because like my mom is taking us to the airport 30 minutes
before our flight took off.
So now it's like every time I do something, I'm like I'm so sorry, this is like my clock.
Like when I go to dinner, I'm like, oh, I have a 15 minute grace period.
Okay.
And then I'm 15 minutes later than that grace period.
I'm, I am you.
It's terrible.
I really think it's like in our system.
No, I can't work.
I try so hard to work on.
on time for is my workout. Oh, that's good. Because I'm, I know they won't let me in if I'm past.
What kind of workouts do you do? It's called Army. Army? Yeah. What's that? Unreal. It is like a
Did they have it here in the city? Yeah, that's the only place to do it. Like, I'm literally
my new apartment. I was like, I need to be close to Army. I sound ridiculous, but I go every day.
I'm the same. When I find something that works for me, I'm dialed. It's the best thing I've ever done
in my life. And it's like a hit workout. It's like Barry's without the treadmill and on crack.
So you're burning so it's like cardio because you're constantly moving. And you're lifting? And
You're lifting?
Lifting, yeah.
Cool.
And it's really, really amazing.
How long's the class?
50 minutes.
50, okay.
And they also have a cycle there.
So I'll do like that and then go do cycle.
Wow.
Okay, you like working out.
I love working out.
That's amazing.
Okay, who's the first person to always have the best advice?
I don't know.
I would say maybe me.
I love that.
I thought you were going to be like, mom.
My mom does.
My mom does too.
It's like, it's a hard question.
But I think like if they're calling, if my mom's calling me or my sister, I still gives great advice too.
So it's like, honestly, I don't know.
All three of us.
Who is the most competitive?
I don't know.
I feel like we all compete with each other because we keep each other on our toes.
It's fair enough.
With supporting each other at the same time, so it's not really like a, but.
I get that.
I just, I'm a competitive person, so I always ask that question.
Yeah.
Who do you think is most likely to surprise everyone the most in the next five years?
I feel like me.
We never know what's going to happen with me, you know, right?
Are you the unpredictable one?
I think I am.
Yeah.
Because I'm just kind of ready to say yes to everything and just kind of like, who knows?
That's great, though.
Yeah.
What is your sign?
I'm a Libra.
Libra.
Okay.
I don't know much about Libras.
I don't know much about any of it.
Oh, you don't.
Being indecisive as far.
Oh.
So.
Maybe I should be a Libra then.
What are you?
Gemini.
Oh, God.
I know, but I'm Gemini Cancer Cancer.
Okay, cute.
Yeah.
My sister's taught me a little bit about it.
I don't really do much with it, but she's always like, you have this and this and this, but.
Well, your mom's very much into, like, she's a psychic.
She loves astrology and she loves all that.
Your mom's an actual psychic, and she looked at my hand, and she can read palms.
She kills me. She can.
She literally told me, like, she knew things about my past from my palm that some people didn't know.
It's crazy.
I'm not surprised.
I always tell her I wanted nothing to do with that.
Really?
My Bible tells me now.
I, okay, okay, okay.
That's fair.
But anytime someone tells me they have, like, these abilities, I'm like, tell me everything good, bad, ugly, I want to know.
Yeah.
See, I don't, I can't know.
I'll be waiting for it.
Is your whole family religious?
Yes, but I wouldn't say in different magnitudes.
Yeah, yeah, that's fair.
My mom will go to a psychic.
She obviously is religious, losing God.
I would not.
Yeah, okay.
I, like, fully, it's, like, against my, whatever.
My sister is also religious, her and her, like, her fiance's family and stuff like that.
She's religious as well.
And then, yeah, we're all kind of in our own way.
But I would say I'm different and I'm more like.
Do you read the Bible?
I do.
That's so cute.
Oh, my God.
I always want, I just think that's adorable.
I just got a new Bible clock.
So it's every, every, every,
part of the day, like whatever time it is right now, my clock will say a verse from the Bible.
Oh, that's nice.
It's so cool. It's like fun. It's like $300. I'm like, oh, my God, they're making so much money.
Just stay in the Bible right here. I have the Bible app. Yeah, I do too. I read it every morning.
I was my streak. I get really upset. I like, oh yeah. I'm on like my street number right now is like
$220 or something like that. But I last year was like 140 and mess it up. And I was like,
I'm really mad and like this cannot happen again. Your Bible app is my wordal. Oh my God,
Wordle. Yeah. Yeah. If I mess up my streak on
wordle, I'm pissed. Yeah.
Same same, same, but very different. Same, same.
We'll tell everybody where they can find you and where they can watch and
keep up with all of this, all these shenanigans. Yes, please, as everything is
airing. Yeah. It has aired now. You can check out my Instagram, Ariana Bierman,
and you can find me possibly on NextGen, season three. I can't leave out on that note.
And if there is a season three, I will be there, hopefully. Yes, I love it. Well, I'm, I barely know
you, but I feel proud of how you're showing up in the world.
Thank you. Thank you.
Yeah.
You're just, no matter what it is, you are being true to yourself.
So that's all you can do.
And that means making mistakes.
It does.
Oh, there you go.
Yes.
You live and you learn.
Yes, you do.

Hey, y'all.
It's Savannah Crisley, and I've got a new podcast titled Unlocked.
We're creating a space for people to truly be vulnerable.
You're used to seeing me having to have this picture-perfect bow on the life that I live,
And frankly, that's not who I am.
I'm a little wild.
I'm a little crazy.
And I love really, really hard.
I really hope that you'll join me every Tuesday as I bring on friends, family, and some guests that I'm pretty sure you're going to recognize.
