pepper tree rosé apparently quite affordable too so there you go anyways we're here to recap last night's bachelor episode the hometowns the hometown I'm kind of going to let you take the reins on this one because you wrote all the notes and I feel like you're you kind to know how you're feeling about this whole episode so you're going to take it away what do we start with well I think we just kick it off In typical Bachelor fashion, we got a lot of Colton shower scenes, as per usual. Why is this a joke? The flexing.

We got the rubbing across the chest, right shoulder, down to left hip. Is that how you shower? There's a lot going on there. Is that how you shower? No, that's not how I shower. Yeah, well, it was very, is it just me or is this season have a lot of shower scenes? A lot of shower scenes. There's a lot of shower scenes.

Why is that? A lot of shower scenes. But, you know, going into this season or going into this episode, there's one thing I'm waiting for. And it's the fence jump. Fantasy sweet. What? It's the fence jump. Oh, that's what everybody's waiting for. And we didn't get the fence jump. Because that's how they're getting you to tune in every single week is teasing the fence jump. I don't even think that we're not ever going to see it. It's a fagasy. It's slow

mirrors. It'll be on the blooper reel. He's so pissed off. Did you listen to my podcast with Colton? Yes. I was laughing so hard when he said he jumped the fence and thought he was going to like land in like a snack tent. He was like, it was just blackness. There was nobody there. He's, he's Like, I thought I was going to jump over it. There's going to be, like, a snack tent and, like, some producers. He was like, it was just black. And I just kept going.

It was really funny. Anyway, shower scene. Okay, so shower scene. And then we kick it off, right? So the first, I think we just break down maybe each hometown and kind of go through just initial thoughts, gut reaction. So the first one was Kaelin. Well, you had a great hometown, by the way.

Oh, thank you. Yeah, I loved watching your family. You were my favorite hometown. Okay, so it was you, Colton, Garrett, and Blake, were the first. final four, right? Correct. Yeah. So, Blake's, so Colton's a good friend of yours. Very good friend of mine, yeah. And so is it, do you feel like when you're watching him on the season, it's portraying him accurately? Because I don't. You know, I don't think, I think, especially in the beginning, I think it's a tough position to be in. And I think it's difficult for me to even say

is that accurate depiction of him, but it's nerve-wracking, right? I mean, he's, he's going through a lot. But I think he's, he was a little stiff in the beginning. beginning. He's definitely warming up. He's definitely warming up. But he's also, I think he's, I feel, like, after this episode, I feel for him right now. Yeah, I do too. Because I feel like he's, he's falling in a lot of directions. And I think he's nervous and not about falling in a manner and not having those feelings reciprocated. And you could tell, like, he's like in a stated disarray. And I also think Colton's easy to read. Colton's not going to be an actor anytime soon. Because I think his body language is easy to read. He is easy to read. And I think it's very evident who he's really into and who maybe it's just a friendship with. It's so funny because when he went skydiving with Tasia, I feel like that face that he was making, the terrified face of skydiving was what his face was with every dad at the hometowns. That was the same face. That was.

I mean, he was so nervous going to that skydive. So, but let's go back. Yeah, yeah. Circle back. Yeah, so let's go back to Kaelin. And going into Kaelin's episode, tell me just what you think in general, just about, about Kaelin and then what you thought about the hometowns? Who was the MVP?

What are your thoughts? Kaelin really reminds me of Brit from my season. Okay. Where I love Brit, but there's TV Brit and there's real Brit. I love both, but I love real Brit. And I would like to know real Kailen

because I feel like, and I'm not trying to judge her based on the pageant world and say, you know, that she's putting something on. But there's just something that I feel like I'm not seen, and I want to know the real Kaelin. Yeah, I think you and I have talked about it before. Cameras come on, and of course, you're a little bit on, right? Well, yeah, cameras.

You have to be on for the camera. You jump, right? But I feel like she is always so on, right? And I'm just, I think she seems sweet, and what a powerful story she has. But is there that, is there a goofy side of her? Is there the not so perfect, smiling? Smiling, well-said, world peace, speech-type response. Yeah.

And I think I could see in Colton, I think he's having difficulty connect to her past, like, the whole friendship. You see a friendship there. Yeah, I don't know that I see. Yeah, I don't feel like they're like in love. Yeah. I see a friendship, definitely. And I do. So when we were watching this, she said, I feel like he's the one.

and in my head my initial response now I don't think Caitlin a lie or fake but like in my initial response is I just don't believe it I don't believe that she thinks that he's the one I don't and I noticed there was a couple

contradictory statements there right so she said I feel like he's the one and my initial gut reaction was I don't believe it the second thing that happened is when she got let go she whispered into Cassie's ear get engaged

that was weird that was a little strange I thought I was maybe like a friend like, go get them. But then in the car. If she said get engaged and then slapped her butt, that would be funny. Right. But then she, yeah, like go get him tiger. Go get him, champ.

But then in the car, she said, I really thought I was getting engaged. Yeah, that's weird. So I sensed a lot of contradictory. Yeah. That's a good point. Because I think she was confused on what she really wanted. She knew that she was going into the show being like, I hope I fall in love. I hope I get engaged at the end of it.

I hope I become the bachelor. Sure. Yeah. And I guess, I hope I become the Bachelorette. But I just feel like she was like trying too hard to believe it herself. Like she was like selling it to herself that he was the one. And I think we can all relate to the fact that it is, right? It's difficult when you're in that position.

There is a lot of confusion. So maybe maybe there is. She might even watch this season back herself and feel the same way we're feeling. Oh, 100%. Yeah. And the real MVP. Oh, yeah. We all know that.

John. John. Johnny boy. I mean, we both can put it out there. Caitlin and I were actually. crying when Kailen and John had their one-on-one. And maybe that was a side of Kailen I really loved, right? It's because she's obviously talking about her of her stepfather who's been there for

her since age of five, who's cared for her, she was crying, he was crying. He seemed like the sweetest man. Oh my gosh, I just wanted to jump through the TV and hug him. Yeah, like I want to meet John. Yeah. John for Bachelor. John for Bachelor. No, John's married.

Oh, yeah. Just kidding. John for Chris Harrison's job once he's gone. He's just so sweet. And their relationship was really sweet. Yeah, it was really, really sweet. Their relationship. So maybe some of these comments are sparked by the fact.

Maybe it's just that Kaelin and Colton. Yeah, that's a good point. What will be interesting, though, is I didn't find her when she got sent home. Did you think she was that heartbroken? Did you feel that? I think she was pissed. And then I think it hit her. And then I think she was embarrassed because she said she felt stupid.

She felt like an idiot, she said. So I think it was more of like the ego being hurt. rather than the heart being hurt. So do you think, I'm just curious because once you watch us back, you have time to kind of get over it. For a woman tell all, which we haven't seen, how do you think she'll respond? Do you think it'll be more of ego-driven?

Do you think she'll be broken down and distraught? It's always interesting. It depends if she's really in the running for the Bachelorette. I can see you have a different perspective than I do. Because I'm like, if she pulled, like, I would like to know from Colton, which he obviously probably can't tell us, Um, if he's heard anything about how she's been after the breakup, like as she, is she just

perfectly fine? As she moved on? What is she doing? And then how she acts in the women tell all. You know what I mean? If he has seen Caitlin. Yeah. Or heard anything.

You know what I mean? Yeah. Oh, totally. I wonder if she'll put on the heartbreak to really, you know, you, I mean, we, you did it. You go. So here's, here's, here's, I'm going to defend both myself and Kalen, if she is distraught. Would you say that you were. a little bit um what is the word i'm looking for were you campaigning a little bit to be the bachelor

no i wasn't campaigning to be the bachelor but it was no you're a very genuine person you seemed very genuine when you were on the mental all but at that point i think you were had moved on so you move on but what happens is like everyone you kind of relive it yeah everyone has certain triggers right smells watching it being in the moment whatever it might be that's true and you remember like For me, when I was in Thailand, I remember how lonely I was and how sad it was. And for me, I'm very good at putting a block and moving forward. Yeah. But imagery gets me, like video images and watching it back put me in a bad spot again.

Actually, I shouldn't say that because you were crying on this season of this episode of this episode. What the hell happened to me? This show is like just like gutted me and now I'm such an emotional guy. That's a great thing. But it is a good thing. It's a beautiful thing. It is. I love it.

I actually did a legacy project, so I gave my best to a woman here in North Carolina.

That is awesome. That's amazing. Was anyone from the show with you? No, no, no, no. It was all just my legacy team and the nonprofit. That is awesome. That really is special. Actually, I was just down. Before y'all get into your, are you guys playing Monopoly while podcasting, or is that just the last night thing? That was just last night. We're addicted to games. Okay, so now I feel like I'm getting worked. Apparently I got questions for you. I think this is a good thing for people in this.

No, those like, Colton and I were really good friends on the season, and then off the season, you know, have you changed or not? Colton gives me a call every week. We catch up on things that are outside the Bachelor Life, and Colton's a great guy on and off the show. But while you're here, I'm kind of talking so I could think of a question. All right, so we're going over hometowns, and we briefly just discussed women tell all. So let's do one word to describe the whole hometown experience, and then one word. to describe women tell all yeah okay let's let's let's let's do it you got anything else you want

no i say one i'm going to give you the names of the girls from hometowns and you give me one word to describe their hometown i'm not even going to let you think about it ready hana g oh you're doing that um southern gentlemen that's good okay kaylan um horse the horse wrong carriage uh okay that's okay that's okay that's okay that's good that comes to mine cassie uh surfing okay um you're just naming what you did on the dates but that's okay uh who's oh and tasha oh um heights dude i fell for you you guys want you guys want emotions i'm just giving you activities yeah exactly okay then one word in an with an emotion an emotional word about next week's women tell all oh i see fireworks oh okay fireworks i heard i missed them

I heard I missed some tea. I heard I missed a lot. Oh, this is fun. You know, you don't get to like sit in, I don't get to sit in the back room and watch it. I just walk out for my part. Right. So I get out there and they're just like, you should have seen it. And I'm like, oh, man, what did I miss?

And you remember for our men tell all, I mean, it was like mits off. We were scrapping. It was raw. It always is. Yeah. It always is. That is awesome. All right, brother.

because we talked about a little bit of contradictory. But maybe it's not contradictory. It's just confusion. Did you feel like she was getting a bachelorette edit? Would you like to see Kailen as the bachelorette? You can be honest. Of course. I think she got a bit of a bachelorette edit.

But I think she would do a good job as a bachelor's, because I think she carries herself well. She's well spoken. I do think right now, I'd rather see others than her. But if she was chosen, I think she would do a great job. And I certainly wouldn't be disappointed with that choice. How do you feel? I don't know.

I don't know. I actually don't know how I feel about it. That's kind of where, like, I think I'm like torn. There's part of me that thinks she would do a great job. And then there's part of me that's like, eh. Well, I just always think it's up to the cast, you know, the men that they would have on her season. So gut reaction, do you think she's ready? No.

Do you think she wants to find love and get... Yeah, I think she wants to find love. I think we all want to find love. I think we all want to get married eventually. But I don't think she's... I can't speak for her. I don't know. What I get from her is that, no, she's not ready.

But also maybe she... I don't know. I hate doing this. It's tough. I'm just going to go with my gut and say no. And that's nothing against her. That's just how I feel, right? Yeah.

Okay. I mean, so the one, it's tough. These positions are tough. You've been the Bachelorette. So I think you more than anybody knows what would be the best. I truly felt like I was ready. Yeah. I really did.

Now, she has experienced so much of life at a young age. Yeah. And she's done such a good job of channeling that and putting herself in the best position to, to verbalize that. I don't know. It's not, it's tough. Let's move on. stuff okay who's next we're indifferent we'll put a pole out there okay we'll put a poll just kind of like that gene pull we pull out that okay I really I was really disappointed in the

gene pool because I don't know who washes their jeans unlike unless they really lose their shape I don't wash them also can we talk about Fleiss's tweet with the Kardashians well done well but I feel like I'm not like he's he probably loves just getting any kind of conversation the fact that Kardashians that he's pulling a Kardashian he's getting the Kardashians talking about The Bachelor, so at the end of the day, he's probably getting what he wants, even if, even if it means him being whatever, I'm not going to use terrible words, but I think he put a idea out there and people like totally gravitated towards it. And I think that's probably typically what he does, right, tries to get opinions. And then he totally worked it because every media line should not be on Twitter. But yeah, but also, there's a lot of people that shouldn't be on Twitter, maybe starting with our president. yes of course so but that's what his tweets are reading me of um but chloe uh had like a text message with kim and chris and it said are you in talks with the bachelor and chris went l-o-l no and then chloe said better not have some respect on my name i don't know why she

says respect like r e s p e k i mean she spelled it wrong but anyways i'm like excuse you what a bachelor doesn't have respect yeah i mean whatever who's next on the hometowns good for them good for them all right so we we agree MVP so far john caylin's dad yeah next hometowns we go to hannah g yes okay we get the classic is she an only child it sounds like she's an only child she has her parents there she has her best friend the classic run into the the run the jump yeah now just going into this what are you're talking thoughts of Hannah so far. I don't know. I don't know her. That's the problem. I agree. I feel like I've heard her say 10 words. That's the, it's clear that her and Colton have like serious intimacy and

physical chemistry and she got the first impression rose. But I don't know anything. Like, what is her story? I don't know anything about her. I didn't even know who's from the south. I didn't know either until that's a good segue way. They quickly go to the, an etiquette class. An etiquette class. Imagine us in an Etiquette class. Southern gentlemen etiquette class. So for the people, I tried to walk with a book on my head. Cudos to Colton. Quintu. You have terrible posture. You always called me out for my posture, but you don't have a good posture either. Colton nailed the book on the head. We're not made from that Southern blood. I, and when she said, bless your heart, I cringed because that's such a passive aggressive thing to say in the South. It's like when he did something wrong. That was when he took the bread for himself. And he goes, oh, bless your heart. Bless your heart. You're like, that was passive. Yeah, but yeah, I would not make it two minutes in an etiquette class. I'd be like burping, not burping my teradactal noise, I'd be doing that.

I'd be like, where's, where's the whiskey? So it's interesting because when I went through a banking school at 21, we had to go through a full etiquette club, we had to go through a full etiquette class and like just simple things. Yeah, like when you pass the pepper and salt, you're supposed to pass them together. Because when you go on business meetings and stuff, you're supposed to do that. that etiquette. But what I have realized over time is that carry yourself well and act with etiquette and things like that. But I think people just like relatability. Even when you're out with the CEO of a 300 million dollar company, they just want to like enjoy conversation, talk,

have a drink or two. I don't think it matters which way. Social etiquette is important. I think these days social etiquette is more important than like, you know, proper manners in which way you pass the f***ing bread. Exactly. Exactly. It's just, it's a very important. It's a very important. It's a good conversation at the end of the day. So it was, I guess I understand maybe prepare him for your culture and how things are to be expected, but a weird start to the day, right? Well, it was just, I mean, I liked the idea, I guess, if they're going to go in, I mean, I don't know. Did you know you're supposed to tear your bread off, butter it and eat it one at a time? Well, I found that out this episode. That was great when Colt's like, who the fuck is? Yeah, who's time for that? Just

eat the bread. He's like, all I know to do is eat the food. That was funny. But, yeah, Hannah-Jia, just feel like I don't know her. She does a good job of staying out of the drama this whole season, which I respect. But I just don't feel like we know her at all. It's so weird to me that we're going, we're at hometowns, and I don't feel like I know these girls. Agreed, but let me ask you this. I feel like I know Kailen much better than I know Hannah-jee based on the way she's summarized some of the things she's gone through and where she is today.

Hannah, when I ask you this, quick response, do you think Hannah really is into Colton? Yes. Do you think Hannah, like, really is falling in love with Colton? Same. Yeah. Okay. So my first reaction, I hear Caitlin talk about her love for Colton. I'm like, not buying it.

Yeah. I don't know anything about Anna. But when Hannah says that I, like, am falling in love with Colton and he's like, I believe it. Yeah. And so that makes me wonder, obviously we've seen physical chemistry, but maybe they've had deeper conversations before. Yeah, I wish they would show more of the conversations because they just show how, like, like, physically attracted to one another they are.

They show that a lot. And I guess next week is fantasy sweet. Next week is fantasy sweet? Yeah. So I don't know. I do wish we could hear more of their conversation because I would like to know her story. I would like to know her story, especially like I just feel like watching the whole thing. Does he pick her?

I don't know. Is she in the running for Bachelorette? I don't know. And I'm like, I want to know her story. Right. And I think the best thing we've seen from her story so far is that clearly her family has fun. They did that whole rap battle.

Yeah, that was like goofy and hilarious. That was pretty impressive. Her dad was adorable. A little side note, Caitlin and I have rap battles. Yeah, but my rap battles, sometimes Jason and I will just sit and, like, have a glass of wine

and he'll be like, you want to, you want to rap? I'm like, yeah. And then we'll be like, hey, Alexa, give me a beat. Alexa, spin that shit. Yeah, and then we'll put on, I'm really good at rapping to lyrics.

So two hometowns down. We got Kalin. We got Hannah G. The one thing we got to give Colton credit for, which isn't easy. And I want you to speak to it, is he now, we've seen. We've gone through two. He's asked two fathers for permission to have their daughter's hand in marriage. Yeah.

So one, what do you make of that? And two, he does ask all four. We've seen the episode. What are your thoughts? But that would be too obvious if he only asked one or two, you know, then we'd be like, oh, well, clearly he doesn't have feelings for this person. Like, it would be too predictable for what's going to happen. And once you ask one father, you have to ask them all.

You just have to. That's a good, from your point, especially being the lead, that's a good point. I don't know if that's a, all bachelors have done that or if they have just asked a couple. But in my opinion, I do think you have to ask all. And that sucks for the ones that, for the three, whoever he doesn't pick. Because that's really hard on family. It's like, you know, that's like a big deal for someone to ask a father for their, for their permission for you to have their hand in marriage. That's a huge deal to dads, you know.

And to just to just kind of have to do that for four women knowing you're only going to pick one must be hard on both sides. Like Colton's probably like, God, I'm an asshole. Yeah, I agree. And from so my vantage point, it's that takes a lot. And clearly, I think, you know, he has to have pretty strong feelings for each of them to do it. And I got to give him credit because, and I think he also have to hedge like things move so quickly. Your feelings could change. So I think it was appropriate if he felt that way.

And I got to give him credit because that is, I mean, those are tough conversations. Yeah. I mean, he had skydiving face every time. Skydiving face. He had skydive face. Skydive face. S-D-F. Skyd-d-F.

I go. Aw. All right. So she blindfolds Colton and then they go skydiving. They've had some solid, like, solid dates. But like, um, adrenaline rush dates. I never got to do anything that scared me on my season. Like, I got a little nervous to get in the water kayaking.

Yeah. Like, that was just like, oh, what a rush. I went to a donut shop. You went to a donut shop? And then a chicken wing bar. Yeah. What would you have done if we were, if I was the Bachelorette, you were on my season, and you took me to a chicken wing bar in Buffalo and I wouldn't eat chicken wings because I don't eat meat?

Would that be a big turn off for you? You can be honest. We would have had tofu chicken wings. But would that be a little bit of a turnoff? If you're a vegetarian, I wouldn't have brought you to a chicken wing bar. But that's like, that's a lifestyle for you. Well, here's the thing. It's a passion.

It's a lifestyle. Part of being a buffalo in his chicken wings, but there's a lot of other parts. And something tells me the other parts, I know you could hang. all's of that. Me. Blue cheese dip. Anyway. So they go skydiving. And Colton is literally whiting his pants. Shitting himself. I mean,

he could probably come back on here and do a confessional that he shit himself and they had added it out. I mean, white is a ghost. You could feel how terrified he was. Yeah, I was scared for him. And I think the buildup was cool though. It was because, and Tasia, I don't know if you were scared or not. She was.

But the matter in which she kind of comforted him and was like, laughing and keeping him composed put a brave face on was uh that was adorable and i will say that whole buildup of colton just being in pure panic yeah and then going and skydiving and the music and the we both had goosebumps we were like tearing up because it was powerful it was like i don't know the music really got me with that the music was great yeah i think that was probably my favorite scene maybe like even the camera work it was amazing good job i think that was actually camera work from the place that does the skydiving because they get people on film for that. Because you and I both look to each other, like, we both have goosebumps.

Yeah, it was, yeah, I loved that moment. It was a great moment in television. It really was. And I think it brought them closer together, too, because they're like, God, we can do anything together. Yeah, and they had that conversation after, and they're just, they're cute and comfortable, very cute and comfortable. Kind of like us.

We're cute and comfortable. You're the best. oh god you are the best all right so um so then this was the part i wrote down because i know it like meant a lot to you is not meant a lot but it just resonated when they're out in the door before and they were practicing the names and you were just like oh my god they're so cute together they really were but i just i i don't know what you you question if it is like a friendship I don't think so. Okay.

Like, I think he really likes her. Yeah. Do you? I see, I think, again, I think he's really comfortable. Yeah. Jokes around. He's corky. But I don't see, you know, that physical side you see of Colton with, uh, what I definitely see with

Hannah G. Yeah. And with Cassie. I think because they have more of a deeper relationship. It's fair. Yeah. And we've seen it. Yeah.

I think they just have a deeper. That's fair. Connection than just the physical. Yeah. Yeah. There's also, you go into these things and you have to ask yourself, yourself as a viewer, especially with all the stuff going on in the world we live in, are they here, right, for the right reasons? I don't see any angle in which she's not.

Yeah, I feel like she is very genuine. I feel like she's there because she believes in love again after everything she's been through. I think she really is falling for him. I think she has good intentions. I just trust her. you know what remember the one part before where she said where she referenced her marriage we forgot about that yeah remember she was married before she was married before and that must be really hard for her to bring home a guy saying like hey you haven't met him but i might marry him

again so her and her dad asked all the right questions her dad was she she reminds me of her dad they're both very well spoken well thought out well spoken that guy is an impressive good you could tell that like that's a good father he's a good father right i mean that was the mom so cute too she's really cute she's more quiet remember the little guy oh brice Bryce Bryce Bryce Bryce he's adorable he's adorable he just looks like a little gentleman like he's a stud he's just a little stud in the making the one thing we did pick up on though is when colton was talking to tasha's father and he said I want to be engaged once and I want to be married once right I was like you comment to me you're like you don't you don't say that to a father who has a daughter that's been married once

because you can't you can't I understand wanting to only be engaged once and married once but hey I've been engaged once it doesn't matter like you can't say you only want that because yeah of course that would be nice but some life happens and sometimes sometimes things aren't meant to be so you can't you know it's like you just shouldn't have said anything yeah about that I think you so you and I talked about this on a podcast yesterday is that everyone has a past and everyone has a history and you learn from it and you have ups and you have downs and you have ugly times and good times but once you give that commitment to one another and you're all in and you're full on dating you kind of have to put the past behind you right like you have to that's why

That was a really cute A little flirty moment Her teaching him how to surf It was adorable that he didn't know how to surf and that she was just in her element teaching him and that he couldn't do it. That was a really adorable moment. But then I got, but then it got weird.

Yeah. So it was, it was cute. They're clearly really cute together. They're adorable. They're cute. They have a great connection. Yeah. And then let's go back to his surfing real quick.

One thing that's funny about Colton, I've noticed. He's either all in or all out. Right. Okay. So football, the guy was a pro football player. Yeah. I've seen him play basketball. It's incredible.

A guy can dunk from the, you can dunk from anywhere. You give him a golf club. Oh, can't do it? Yeah, you surf. It's like the guy seems like he's the most unathletic guy. When you watch him surfing, when you watch him golfing, when you watch him play pool, some of these things. But then these other things, like basketball and football, it's like, this guy's a freak in nature. It's hilarious.

That is funny, though, that he is such an athlete, but then you put him on like a surfboard. And he's like, he was like, oh, I've paddleboarded before. Yeah, very different. Very different. But yeah, I don't know what it was, but like I'm questioning her feelings for him. Well, I think we all are obviously. She's questioning her feelings. I do respect that she's holding back and being like, I really want to mean it and I want to be all in.

But it's like at this point, when you're about to take him to meet your family, knowing he's going to ask for your father's permission, you should know you're falling in love with him. Sure. The other thing I think about, too, is that he has three other women. Right. But you could tell he's still so upset and bothered that she won't give him what he's asking for. Do you think that's why he likes her so much? You're saying the chase? I think he's just like you could see again, as his friend, like reading him, reading his bylanters, I think he's really into her.

Oh, he is. Definitely. And I don't know if she's just being scared or protecting herself. Like maybe she really is falling in love with him, but she doesn't want to say it out loud. But I just find it crazy that at this point. point, going to take him to your home that you can't know you're feeling like you're at least falling in love with him. You don't have to say you're in love with him. But if you're... That's true. For me, if I was to bring someone to my family knowing that there could be a proposal

at the end, I wouldn't bring them home unless I was falling in love of them. Okay. That's fair. And we did hear some of the other girls say that too. Yeah. Right? Yeah. So before we go to her family time. Yeah. I just got to put a shout out there for you because you asked me to ask. Wow. You said she just went surfing and she fell and she did all this thing and her eyelashes are the most beautiful things I've ever seen.

What the heck, man? Give me your tricks. I don't know if those are eyelash extensions. Even if they are, how are they so, like, perfect? You just went surfing. I would look like I got hit by a bus. She looked like she just came out like a photo shoot for like a swimsuit model. Incredible.

It was really impressive. I'm impressed. I would laugh so hard to see myself on TV. I had this one date where I had to have a photo shoot underwater with somebody. Are you listening to me? I'm listening to me. Okay. I'm like when you make eye contact.

I had to do this photo shoot underwater and I looked like a freaking drowned rat when I came up and like when we were like having conversation after the photo shoot underwater. I look like a drowned rat. And she looks like she just like her hair was like perfectly air drying. Her eyelashes were perfect. She's gorgeous without any makeup on. And I'm like, oh, okay, fine. I do like her style in that regards, too. Like, even what she wears is very, like, natural, very girl next door.

She doesn't have a lot of makeup. She seems really sweet. Yeah, yeah. She's very, very girl next door. Okay, so real quickly, let's go into her family. So we meet her dad. Her dad's name's Matt, and he's a very stern father, which you can't blame him for, especially in this position.

And I loved this comment. Yeah, I met Colton. Seems like a guy. A guy. Yeah. So what do you think of the family? Um, I just think they're protective of her, as they should be. And I think they know how guarded she is.

So they don't want, nobody wants to see their child get hurt. Of course. Your mom's made the cutest comment on my Instagram saying like the best thing in the world is seeing your kid happy. And, um, but that's, you know, that's all any mom or dad would want for their, for their kids. So it's like they're put in this position knowing like who, what, what family. has to go through this, knowing there's a huge potential of your daughter getting completely crushed. Like, that's so difficult.

So I love when families are a little bit hard on the lead, and I love when the families are, like, real about it, you know, because I don't know. I just, I didn't, I didn't mind that her dad was that protective and that they were asking the tough questions. I'll tell you what, that I would have been the same way. Yeah. I can't even imagine you, if we had a daughter. And she went on The Bachelor and brought him home and said,

I'm going to be engaged to this guy at the end. I'm getting worked up right now. Yeah, I can see it. But it's funny because it's like that's got to be hard for a dad and a mom. I mean, yeah, I mean, so daughter or son, right? Yeah. My parents were both so protective and so worried about it. Yeah.

And you, what's what you do, right? You protect and serve your kid. And then their feelings are so vulnerable. I really liked that analogy at the etiquette class that that lady said about the umbrella that your parents like they've held this umbrella to protect you your whole life and then it's like passing the umbrella to a man or a woman to say like it's your turn to protect them that was really cute I liked that no no refresh my memory are you my umbrella I'm your umbrella cute okay we can't start making our weird noises but we have to have a hometown with your parents

we should do a recap when I have hometown no I I don't ever want to do. Lots of FaceTime. It's gone exceptionally well. Yeah. They're awesome. I can't wait for our families to meet. Oh.

That's going to be a throat. That will need to be documented. That will have to be documented. Oh, my gosh. All right. So real quickly, Colton asks all forefathers for their daughter's hand in marriage. I want to go back in time. I wonder if all the bachelors do that.

But, and I credit him for doing a not easy task to do. No. And he did it well. Wait. I think Matt, refresh my memory. I think Matt was the only father that did not give permission.

And I know Colton. And let me tell you. And that's Cassie's dad, right? Colton will not propose. I know him. He will not propose unless he has permission. Because that's the whole point of asking is if you don't have a father's permission,

you are the biggest asshole if you propose. You can't do that. So I want to retray steps. I could be wrong and someone could fact check me because I thought this is what sparked my memory I remember Colton's dad making a comment I don't think that Ari had gotten permission

from Becca's mother to propose to Becca and he proposed and I remember I think I had lunch with Colton's father who was a great man yeah who said i know my son he would never propose without permission so it's funny how like that was like before he was the bachelor i'm thinking about it so it'll be interesting to see because we see that you know he's certainly into a few of these girls cassie's definitely one of them yeah

and he doesn't have permission hmm that is a great point oh my gosh it's what's weird is i like you know I don't actually really I think I have a gist of what happens but I actually don't really know about what about what like how everything ends oh sure so it's like still exciting for me because I'm like wait what was the empty box about with the that scene remember everyone was freaking out and Colton talked about it on on my podcast about talking about the empty box he's like you know empty rings are meant to be on fingers why would it be in the box and I'm like that's fair I just don't know. It has us all guessing.

I don't know. And then now I'm like, oh, because he didn't get the permission. What's going to happen? Right. Like maybe that's, is that a segue? Yeah, like, who knows what happens? I don't know. I see him with Tisha.

Is that crazy? I don't know. You see it more of a friendship. I see that as a beautiful relationship. A ton of chemistry. Ton of chemistry. Yeah. But you see, he is so, I think he was like almost crying when he was doing his

interview that he didn't get any feelings back from Cassie and he still gave her a rose. Yeah, that's true. And the thing that's throwing me off, I just, I just feel like Hanadji and Cassie are safe and I feel like Tasha would bring out the best in him. That's fair. That's fair. I mean, at the end of the day, it's how Colton feels and who he loves the most, but that's what I see.

And there's one rose left. And you literally looked at me and you're like, Kaelin's face just looks like she knows she's going to go home right now. And I was like, what was my comment back to? I was like, I don't think so. I was like, Cassie didn't literally tell her, didn't say one word to Colton about how she feels. Right. I was like, I think Cassie's going home.

That's true. You did think Cassie was going home. That's crazy. I saw it on Kailen's face. Yeah, you saw it on her face. I didn't see that. Yeah. Been there.
