Starting point is 00:01:12 Okay, cheers. Yes, let's start off with a cheers. Because you probably need a little rosé in your life. Just a little bit. Just a little bit to keep the ball rolling. Exactly. You're tired. A little.
Starting point is 00:01:22 How old are you again? 27. And you're good energy. so I'll be fun. I hope this is just easy and fun. Like, you're a good energy. I never, I never want anyone to, like, be nervous to come on.
Starting point is 00:01:34 No. My interviews, because I always want everybody walk away and be like, wow, I just felt like I forgot there was cameras and microphones. Yeah. See, I already knew. I was like, that was the vibes I was good.
Starting point is 00:01:44 Yeah. And I feel like you're just a bright light in this room. It's just, no, it's really cute. Thank you so much for taking the time. I know. I know how exhausting it is. end. You're just in the whirlwind right now. I am. I'm like going through it. I'm like in the
Starting point is 00:01:59 middle of the tornado. Has it happened fast or has it been like slow for you? It's like weird because it's like I feel like it's approaching quickly but it's also like so slow. Yeah because you're like waiting for the biggest thing of your life to air on national television. So you're like hurry up but then you're like also slow down. Wait a second. I'm not really really ready. Like yeah. Have you processed it yet that you like were on the bachelor and then became the bachelorette? Like what was going through your brain when Jesse was like you're our next Bachelorette. It's insane because like I feel like when I hear that question I'm just like
Starting point is 00:02:28 how like you know when you hear Bachelorette like does it really like sink in and I'm like yes and no but like with it being back to back like this I like had a moment where I just like recap my last year like my life has changed so much I was literally graduating like my master's last this time last year
Starting point is 00:02:46 so it's like all of this has happened in a year and it's insane. That's a lot in a very short amount of time. Oh, who are you telling? That's why I'm just like... And at 27 years old, right? Everybody that's watching, I'm trying to get my life, like, literally together. Everyone that's watching right now or that listens to this podcast knows I get hyped when people are 27. It's the best, most pivotal year of your whole life.
Starting point is 00:03:08 That's what I'm saying. I was like, so many changes were happening. And then, like, obviously hopping into Zach's season. And then like, okay, that didn't work out. So we'll see what's next. And then I'm over here, like, don't know what's coming, but then getting asked. I was like absolutely like it has been the absolute best ride but yes very fast oh my gosh so so much happens in one year and it forces you to just grow as a human being because you truly have no other choice no I know it's like all right times now I'm like I thought I knew myself before but because what did you get your master's in so clinical mental health counseling so it's like yeah it's like and that also like it's so crazy because like I love talking about like just like my
Starting point is 00:03:48 schooling but like getting a degree in something like that also was like so like helpful for me because like no kidding i would have changed my whole life if i did that i don't think i could have done that because i barely graduated high school but you know what that's for a different day yeah we're talking about oh my gosh that must tell me like three big ways three big takeaways you got from what you learned in your education that helped you through the process oh oh my god everything i feel like for one um just like active listening like i feel like i listen to like understand to like understand versus like being quick to like respond or just like you know say something yeah that's like so important especially because your time is so crucial yeah get these moments with everyone right
Starting point is 00:04:30 you're trying to navigate all of that so like being an active listener for sure um I like to say I communicate pretty well yeah and I also love it so like I like to communicate well I hope my partner communicates well back to me so it's like I know what to look out for yeah but also I think just being aware too of and I'm still working on this but like I think obviously my degree has helped and just like learning more about myself but just being aware of like I don't want to say red flags but like knowing when like people's conversations or like the words are saying could be like you know a little bit manipulative it's like rather than just like hearing it it's like oh it sounds good but it's like wait a second and then like being able to like add it up are you like super aware of your intuition
Starting point is 00:05:11 and your gut feelings oh okay I will say that like it was spot on this season I love that. I love that. Because not only are you able to take a step back, not react with emotion, listen, and then go that one step deeper to say, well, does he mean what he's saying? And then listen to your gut. Like, for you to process that all in one conversation is huge. It's a lot.
Starting point is 00:05:34 But then, like, I also am the kind of person. Like, I have, like, this rule in my head on, like, three strikes. Like, I always give people, like, three opportunities. But then it's, like, once I've reflected on. It's one more strike than I get, I know. And I always. always do that but like the third and then that's obviously when you see like a little bit more like the sassy side of me come out it's just like now we got to like we got to get down to the
Starting point is 00:05:55 nitty gritty and handle business but like right in the meantime building up I'm definitely like so you're like fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me fool me three times just get out of my piece of that's enough I'm ashamed for both of us that's crazy I love that though I'm so excited to watch your season because of that like everything you just said, but we saw, I feel like we saw the real you on Zach's season, which, you know, a lot of people get their comeback on Paradise or you see, you know, we'll obviously see more to you now that you're the Bachelorette. But I feel like we fell in love with you as a human being on that show because it really came through as authentic.
Starting point is 00:06:36 Oh, it was real. I mean, that's the only thing and the only way you can go about anything like an experience like this is to be real. And I was like, I don't know what I'm, I really don't know what I'm doing. And there's no right way to do any of this, but it's like, I know who I am and I have to stay true to that. So it's like in every single moment showing up as just charity and whether that's like, okay, I want to cry in this moment, like not worrying about what's going on. Like I could care less about a camera in my face. Like if I got to cry, like you will get tears. Yeah. So there's that.
Starting point is 00:07:03 But then also just like being really like I'm an impasse. So like just being empathic and like obviously like you said being a human at the end of the day like caring about people around me. Like, it doesn't take a lot to not be nice to people, you know? It really doesn't. That's what I'm just like, just be nice. Like, you literally just be nice. And that's all I want to give. The Internet is thriving on being hateful these days.
Starting point is 00:07:24 Oh, they are. And it's okay. Yeah, I was going to ask you how you handle that because I think people who can look so deep within themselves, they can understand other people who are so hateful. Oh, yeah. And part of being an empathetic person is understanding the hate in other people and almost feeling sad for them instead of, letting it get to you, do you feel like you'll be able to continue that mentality after? Definitely. It's like it's a little bit, honestly, and I'll be honest, like, it's a little bit of
Starting point is 00:07:51 like 50-50. It's like that part of it. But then it's also like, I'm also such like a problem solver. So it's like, I'm like, what's going on in your brain? Like, why are you like this? Yeah. Let me out. Yeah. Yeah. You're like, yeah. You're like, yeah. I could take a quick 45-minute zoom. Literally. I've got my degree. We can get through this together. Absolutely. Yeah. So it's like that part. But it's like, honestly, like, when. I just see some, like, you know, and it comes with it. Like, there's going to be so much positivity, but just also, like, you know, the negative and the more hateful. It's like, I really just have to learn to protect my peace and, like, I'm not giving you the time of day.
Starting point is 00:08:24 I'm like, absolutely not. Here on this podcast, we call it shopping for pain when you go and you look for the trolley comments, which I find that when I'm doing that, I'm like, oh, shoot, something else is bothering my life. So I'm going to look to, like, justify my upset behavior. Right, right, right. And actions and feelings. Uh-huh. Was there, I know communication is so important to you. you and you are really good at it.
Starting point is 00:08:44 Yeah. Was there somebody, and you said you're good at giving frigging 80 chances. So was there anybody on this season that you were like, this guy sucks at communicating, but I feel something, and then you give them a second chance, third chance? Yes. Are you kidding?
Starting point is 00:08:57 Okay. Yes. There's, of course, because our intuition can, of course, guide us in the right direction towards the end, but you've got to get through some messy stuff in the middle to get there. So is there a couple contestants or one or two that stand out where, and of course you don't have to name names or tell me, but is it like you're like oh shoot looking back i should have sent them home a long time ago
Starting point is 00:09:16 oh my god i like want to hop out this term because the answer is yes i can feel it i can see it and it's like that's for me it's like i also had to learn i'm like chemistry is not everything right like it's not right and it's like for me like i think obviously it's just it's a high intense emotional like setting is sometimes can be the driving force it's like oh i have great chemistry with this person like oh my god like we kiss great like that is matter. It's like you're acting up and you're acting crazy. So it's like, let's figure out. And like I'm again, here I am trying to understand these people. And it's like, no, like you've already shown me really everything that I need to see. And maybe this is just not like the timing
Starting point is 00:09:54 is just not right. Right. You're not my person. Yeah. The fact that like if I had your wisdom at 27, like I'm pretty stoked at where I'm at in life and I've figured it out. But like I always think about myself at 27 and see they're going to start fighting. Hey, you know, 27 was 27 was pivotal for me in the sense that I was like living on my mom's couch and like addicted to Valium because of a breakup. Right. Literally though, real. What made you want to get into what you did in your education? Yeah. So I've always had like a passion for just working with kids. And so like my specialty or like population that I work with is like children and family obviously. So catered to that. But I was working in this school system. So like I had a little bit of like experience with like,
Starting point is 00:10:42 working with children with disabilities and so like doing that work I was like it really like just stood out to me always connect it well but I was like there's like another added element that's like missing in the equation of like when I was working with like these families and like you know the children with disabilities I was like their like their needs aren't really being prioritized it's like yes we like look at like the medical aspect of it all but it's like the mental health aspect is like obviously we can talk about it all day but it's like it's so neglected yeah and I saw it so much in the school system. I was like they don't even had to, it's not even really prioritized, honestly. It doesn't make any sense. I always thought about that with, I'm like, why are we
Starting point is 00:11:18 talking about like, no, kudos to the school counselors, like shout out. But it's like, we also, I like, like, I advocate so much that there needs to be like an in-house like school, like therapist that's not just like a school counselor. Right. You know, like that's like really focusing on the mental aspect. Because it's hard. Like they're, they're doing all, the school counselors are doing all the great levels. Yeah. It's like we need, these kids are going through it. So yeah that's yeah i mean it starts obviously at such a young age literally i could talk for ever about inner child work oh god yeah that everything stems from that right so it's so cool that that you are passionate about that you see that and now and now how incredible this is one of my
Starting point is 00:11:57 favorite things about when the right people get a platform you know like it's so exciting to me to think of what you can do with your platform and your voice and the impact that you will have because of what you're passionate about. Yeah. I'm so passionate about advocating for mental health. Do I have the education? No, do I have the trauma? Yes.
Starting point is 00:12:16 And that's what I always say experiences everything. Yeah. It really is. So what is like your hope for moving forward? Obviously like make that money. Do build whatever because now that gets to be part of it. Exactly. And then what else, what is your like dream to do with your platform?
Starting point is 00:12:34 Yeah. I mean, I definitely like a lot of people have already asked me. They're like, are you going back to work? Are you going back to work? and I'm like, I don't know yet, but, like, I definitely, like, I went to school for what I did. So, like, it's not going to waste. And however that may look like, whether that's, like, speaking, doing things or just, like, yeah, like, I mean, I don't want to become, like, I hate, I call it social media therapy.
Starting point is 00:12:53 Like, I hate that. But, like, you know, like, don't know if that's, like, the route I'll take. But, like, I definitely still want to, like, incorporate mental health, like, a huge part of it into, like, what I do. So, yeah. That just gave me, like, like, the feels like I'm like, yep, that's, you were put on this planet to do that. You now got a platform to, of course, let the world fall in love with you and you find your love and all this stuff. But also, like, hell yeah, to have more people on social media who have the education talking about it. Oh, I could totally see you as like a motivational speaker.
Starting point is 00:13:22 Okay, so it's so crazy because when I was in grad school, like my like professor, one of my professors were like, yeah, I don't know if you'll be in the office forever. But like I definitely see like you being like some sort of like life coach. Maybe that's like I don't know, but we'll see. Like, it's like almost like she manifested at that for me. Yeah. I need to like give her a shout out. Do you believe in manifesting? Oh, for sure.
Starting point is 00:13:43 What are you manifested literally everything in my life? Really quickly, have you guys ever experienced some tightness in your stomach when you get anxious or feel like a little sick to your tummy before a big work presentation? Starting point is 00:16:04 this when you angie that download the free angie mobile app today or visit angi.com that's a ngi.com what what do you think like the biggest thing that you've manifested has come true and what's the biggest thing you're manifesting right now um I'm trying to think because like I'm I'm the person I always do vision board so I'm trying to think what did I put on my vision. Okay well maybe I won't make you like say exactly what that's come true but what are like a few things that that are on your vision board. Um, hopefully like buying a house soon. So like that's definitely like on the radar. Where do you want to live? Um, I have the California itch. Oh God. Color is amazing. It's expensive to shit, but it's amazing. Yeah. I think, I mean, whether it's long term or short term. Yeah. Yeah. I definitely think I need to
Starting point is 00:16:59 need to take you got to follow that so that's on there obviously like I hate saying this is going to sound so crazy a large check that's not crazy I fucking love honesty I love honesty I was going to say when you said motivational speaker I'm like not only are you
Starting point is 00:17:17 changing lines but there's good money right yeah so I'm like oh my gosh yes you will you will have that on the vision board that's always on my vision board yes I'm trying to think because I feel like my vision board was so specific and obviously after this i can probably uh share more but well yes of course yeah yeah i'll talk about this after your season ends and what came true on your vision board but i just think like you're
Starting point is 00:17:41 to me you seem like this uh i don't know if you're an old soul but you're a dreamer oh i love that do you feel that i do yeah i dream really big and and but the big dreamers are the ones that get what they want because so many people keep themselves in a small little box yes yes yes yes And you put yourself outside of that and you take risks. And obviously, like, people think, oh, going on The Bachelor, that's, like, how fun. Or some people are like, oh, I could never. But it is a risk. Oh, it's a huge risk.
Starting point is 00:18:09 Are you kidding? Yeah. It's like the biggest risk. I'm taking. Biggest risk. And so, are you happy? Is not like, are you happy with someone? Like, are you happy you took that risk?
Starting point is 00:18:23 And, and, no, that's basically the question. 1,000%. Yeah, no. I mean, even like, if you were to ask me this, like, like last like on Zach season like still happy like obviously the outcome wasn't great but it was like no like I was happy that I challenged myself to something different I was happy that I stayed true to myself I didn't change in the process didn't change after the fact um so much growth there's like just perspective is everything and so it's like whether the outcome is like truly what you really
Starting point is 00:18:49 desire it's like being able to just like shift gears for a second and look at like maybe whether it's a small thing that that change in your life um that in in long term will amount to something good. People have this expectation when you do something risky or you're like, oh gosh I'm going to, they think you're supposed to get to the certain point without realizing everything else that has
Starting point is 00:19:11 happened along the way. Yeah, stepping stones. Oh my God. Stepping stones and ups and downs and just so many things. And even if the outcome isn't the way, it's like looking back, can you have this you know, I always say the benefit of hindsight and like being able to see what you just went through and how you got through
Starting point is 00:19:27 it. Oh my God. Yeah. Yes. Are you proud of yourself? I'm so proud of myself. Good. That's the best thing you could be because I hated myself. Oh, my God. No. I had a moment.
Starting point is 00:19:41 I had a moment where I was like, I was like, yeah, this is awesome. And then I was like, I did everything that was me. And then I saw the internet's reaction. I was like, oh, should I hate myself? No, you should absolutely never. I mean, it was a quick turnaround. No, I get it. It was a quick turnaround when I went, oh, this is why I'm here is to have a voice.
Starting point is 00:19:58 Yeah. And I feel like you are going to have such an incredible voice for mental health and for just so many things in your life that you're like, oh, I'm supposed to be doing this. I'm supposed to be here. Just be helping people some way somehow. What? I know I asked you this earlier because we were on stage, but I have a bigger audience here. Yeah. What is it?
Starting point is 00:20:18 What is a sneak peek? Like what's something that you can tease about this season that people didn't see in the trailers? your trailer's awesome by the way oh thank you oh thank you I'm obsessed with it you don't understand you have that for the rest of your life I know like I can always be like yeah
Starting point is 00:20:37 our promo was too I love that I literally got full body chills the whole time I always like the promos like Hannah B's was bomb but yours I was like it's just giving I think boss energy boss energy
Starting point is 00:20:49 that's truly what that's the phase of life that we're in what a great phase to be in let me think okay that's not in the trailers um i think we see you as this woman who knows herself and you are all these things by the way you know what you want you have good intuition what are your red flags and do they come out in this season do we see a side of charity where you have a moment where you go shit that might be
Starting point is 00:21:17 something i need to work on oh uh yeah you know there's a point in the season where you know shit hits the fan and that's fine um and i was going through like that is just a really heavy week for me i think there's a lot going on but um in particular like this moment um was surrounding just a situation that was like being drugged out and so it's like once again for me i think um me saying um the rose is on your chest but who's to say i can't clip it off like obviously that's me being like that's magnetic i can get that right back i literally give it back that is um a moment for me where i think obviously um my my emotions kind of took over but it's also it's like i think i was like having this internal battle of like
Starting point is 00:22:01 being indecisive and so like this season has taught me a lot more about just like truly trusting my intuition because it wasn't wrong right it's just like that was something that i was like sitting on and again like i said it was dragged out far too long right um but well because it uh earlier when i was interviewing you at cma fest one of your red flags for somebody is if they're wishy-washy so when when you are put in a position where you're like wait this is my red flag for someone else and now I'm in it. Yeah, I'm doing it. It's like, give it back. I made a decision so I should be able
Starting point is 00:22:32 to stand on it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But that's human too. I know, I know. I know. So it's like, I know, I know that's like, of course you can be fooled and tricked. Oh my God, yeah. And that doesn't, I guess that doesn't mean you're wishy-washy. It just means you're like, actually, I have boundaries.
Starting point is 00:22:48 Give me that back. Right, exactly. Like, you're not going to do this to me. Sorry, I'm in control. Yeah. I have just a few random questions that aren't hard hitting just to get to you better what's your coffee order um i'm a macha girl so i yeah so coffee is like not really my go-to but i can do macha just because i'm like caffeine oh yeah me too and i like it i'm actually inside okay what's your favorite meal um favorite meal i am a big pasta so like anything like uh like um four cheese like vodka pasta or like rigatoni like any of that
Starting point is 00:23:26 like just any possible and truly delicious yes um what's your favorite holiday christmas you do uh did you win a high school superlative um no i was in the running i was like nominated for a few i hate that i know and i never won our school didn't do it oh great i know maybe that's probably better yeah what were you in the running for um like miss it was called miss ch s so like that means like you're like the girl of the whole high school what is that entail like you're basically very well-rounded which Oh, okay. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:57 At least that's not, that's nice. It's really nice. I was on Homecoming Court. Didn't win that either, but that's fine. I mean, those are the feet. Hey, I don't think I would have ever even been in running for anything. They'd be like, that bitch never shows up to school. Yeah, that would be me.
Starting point is 00:24:12 Okay, who is your celebrity crush? It has changed. Okay, my, like, long-time person has been Michael B. Jordan. Of course. Recently, like, I don't know. Like, I have, like, a thing for Matt Rife. I probably shouldn't say that right now. But like, it's fine.
Starting point is 00:24:26 No, I get it. Hey, I'm engaged. He sat in this chair. We did an interview. You did an interview with him? Mm-hmm. Okay. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:33 And she... I'll show you after. Yeah, he is truly so funny. Oh, he's hilarious. And obviously beautiful. And blowing up right now, his career is just taking off. Yeah, his episode on my YouTube channel just came out last week. Oh, I have to go watch this.
Starting point is 00:24:52 Oh, my God. He's hilarious. Oh, y'all two together. Oh, we're just. I was like, I could do this for like five hours. Like he's just, and his kind of humor is so my kind of humor. Yes, yes. That's fair.
Starting point is 00:25:03 He could be your celebrity crush. Right. I think so. I think it's fair. Yeah. I have a question. Do you, because obviously this stuff all happens, like, it feels like overnight. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:11 Overnight fame, attention, all these things. You obviously seem very grounded. But does the attention overwhelm you or do you feel like you're the kind of person that can totally deal with it? Because I know you're very humble. but like can you deal with it or does it bring you anxiety um yeah i would be a fool to sit here and be like it's not anxiety yeah central yeah it definitely does bring me anxiety and i think it's just because like what you said it's like i am so humble but it's like i just go about my life like i don't even think of it all the
Starting point is 00:25:40 time but then it's like when i'm out in public that's when it like it really like hits me and then i also like i hate this but like a little bit more paranoid than the normal it's just because it's like you know like you're constantly like being watched you're like spotted like you now have this responsibility as a human being that you didn't realize came with that exactly now I can't I mean I still can act a fool but it's like you know it's just like I think I've made a career on acting like a fool so you absolutely can but yeah no it definitely it gives me anxiety like yeah it's it's so hard because I still it used to give me way more anxiety and I did not know how to deal with it now I know how to recharge now I know like yeah and now I have so much more gratitude for people that come up to me
Starting point is 00:26:22 before I used to be like oh god but I feel like as long as well you have so many tools in your freaking toolbox that I'm sure you can figure that out but so coming off the show whether you pick somebody whether you don't whether you're engaged whether you're not are there parts of your life that you're going to want to still keep private now that you are like a public figure that people want to know because it's hard to compartmentalize like being a star an influencer a social media presence. People are looking to you for relationship stuff because that's what they are following you for. But then you also want to keep a little bit private. So how are you going to navigate that? I 100% will be keeping things private. Good. Yeah. I obviously know like and I've been thinking
Starting point is 00:27:06 about just like you know how to navigate life after this like even just from me it's like everything doesn't have to be shared. And I think that's like what's so like toxic about like the influence or like lifestyle or just like being like a I don't like public figure whatever yeah but it's like yeah just like sharing the things that like I want to share and like if people are interested in like too much or too intimate details of my life like I have I have the autonomy to be like no like I don't have to so it's like I do yeah I think that's the only way to like truly like survive this transition and adjustment is to like keeping things like what I want private and that's okay and it seems like you have such a good family too oh my god great support
Starting point is 00:27:50 Like everybody fell in love with your family on the season so much so that like your brother got to come on your night one. And I feel like having that kind of support system and to anyone listening that doesn't have that family support. Like you get to choose your family too sometimes with friends. And just as long as you have that core group of people in your life that can, you know, they know that real you and you know the real you. And sometimes it can get, you know, a little foggy in these moments. So how has your family been during all this? They've been great. They have truly been nothing but great.
Starting point is 00:28:19 And they're also like the type of people too Like they just like don't really get too caught up in all of this So it's like they're excited obviously But it's like okay That also shows how much they trust you Because my family was like Oh god Not to be concerned
Starting point is 00:28:33 My family all they were like Of course you are but oh god Like don't be the drunk all night one Kayla Oh my god I mean there will be some things that might surprise mom and dad But they'll be fun Yeah well yeah of course They probably know that too
Starting point is 00:28:47 Before you Zach season and did you guys all watch the show at all? Yeah, so you know. Yeah. Okay, all my vinos have been along with me on this long and important hair journey of mine. And you know that one very important part of my routine to grow stronger and thicker hair is Nutraful. And I know it's not just me on this journey. Hair thinning will happen to approximately one in two women.
Starting point is 00:29:08 And like I've said, I'm no mathematician. But that's pretty much half, okay? The math is mathing. Neutrophol is the number one dermatologist, recommended hair growth supplement, clinically shown to improve visible thickness and strength. It is something I've been using for three years now. From postpartum to menopause, no matter your life stage, Nutraful has four unique formulas to support women,

So in a clinical study, 86% of women reported improved hair growth after taking Nutraful women's hair growth supplement for six months. And I'm one of those people, so I can say it for myself, this really works. So take the first step to visibly thicker, healthier hair. Give us a tease about the fantasy suite. You guys can always jump in if she can't say it. Rocky. Rocky? Okay. Yeah. Not smooth sailing.
Starting point is 00:30:28 No. Oh. No. Okay. No. Which, I mean, makes sense because what a weird situation to put anybody in. You don't understand. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:40 Okay. I'll get a teaser, losing my damn mind. Okay, so could you please come on the podcast after that week's episode so I can help you process everything. Oh, 1,000% I will be, don't you worry. Because you didn't pull a Zach where you're like, I'm not going to do this. Of course not. Yeah. You're like, I learned, I already would have
Starting point is 00:30:58 known, but you've got it figured out. I can't wait to see who you are as a person in like five years because you're incredible. I'm already just so impressed with you. I already was. But yeah, Fantasy Suites, Rocky. Okay, that's one word we're going to use. Okay, describe your night one and three words.
Starting point is 00:31:15 Witt? Witt. I went. Sorry, that was so catchy. Oh, my God. Cute. It was so good. It was so cold. It was wet. Downboring.
Starting point is 00:31:27 It was cozy, though. So, like, I guess just because, like, obviously it was raining, like, being inside the house. Yeah. So many fireplaces. Yeah, it was very cozy. But honestly, it was a very, like, sweet night. Like, it was a very, like, I was pleasantly surprised. That's good.
Starting point is 00:31:45 Oh, pleasantly surprised. And one word to describe the finale. Not you like taking me back. I'm like, oh, wait. We can all come up with the word together and make it so that you go. One way to describe the finale. I mean, emotional. Okay.
Starting point is 00:32:02 Emotional. That's fair. That's fair. When Michelle was breaking up with Brandon, I was in the, like we got to watch and obviously we're like sitting there waiting to go out there so we had to see. And I was like, oh, my God, that's so hard. And they're like, Caitlin, you've got to go out there. And I'm like,
Starting point is 00:32:16 It is. It's an emotional time for it, no matter if it's happy emotions, sad emotions. Oh. You don't understand. Oh, no. Oh, no. Yeah. Oh, no. Yeah. Oh, God. Okay. And I watch everything spoiler free. But if, but also I will ruin the spoilers if you ever need to talk to me off the record about it because I can't even imagine. Okay. So it's going to be a really emotional finale. Yeah. I think this season's going to do so well. Put your seatbelts on. on and fasten because I just already feel like so many people are excited for you to just go on this journey so okay okay I'll buckle up then good to know good to know okay so you've gotten through filming and now is going to be one of the hardest parts is the weight two things it's hard to build a foundation which I always say on this show because foundations are usually built on trust and just like committing to one person yeah but watching it all back and getting through that whether you're with someone or not is also the most challenging part so how do you think you're going to handle each week knowing that you can't be like well it's this and it's this
Starting point is 00:33:27 like are you going to be really active on social and tell us like a little bit about how you're feeling each week or how are you going to how do you plan on I guess you don't know until you're actually in it exactly I was going to say I'm like I'm not even sure if I have like the right game plan of how to even approach this I guess it's kind of a in the moment as you go you don't have to plan in the moment yeah I just I go with it but But it's going to be, you're going to be that every Monday. You're going to poop your pants. Do you, based on your experience with all of these men that you got to have, do you think
Starting point is 00:33:56 there's a clear bachelor in our future or? Okay, I can say this. I think there's a couple. Really? Yeah. Like, I'm just so excited for like everyone to just like see and meet the guys. They do seem like good ones. No, it's just like I was truly blown away.
Starting point is 00:34:15 Yeah. And like made my life. life, hell. Of course. I felt the same way. I know I'm biased, but I will say, I think I had a group of really incredible men. Yes. Again, of course, that's not even about me.
Starting point is 00:34:27 It's about them. They were incredible. Yeah, you did. But I do get a good gut feeling about your guys. No, they're so good. Yeah, most of them. Of course. You can't have a season with a bachelor out without a couple bad eggs.
Starting point is 00:34:37 Right, right. But no. There should be, like, maybe a few, honestly. Okay. Maybe a few. Could we please get two bachelors? competing night one oh that would be i'm so if any like they need to come from my season for yeah no oh i would love that i'm like it's been eight years and i still hold this against the show
Starting point is 00:34:57 get over it kately my gosh okay how surreal does this whole feeling feel to you right now it's insane yeah like no honestly it's insane like i'm i'm cool right now but like me like meeting you and just like even being here talking about like patchorette like i did not like again did not isn't this to be my life at all. So like being here in the moment, yeah. Isn't it cool to also be in the moment? I feel like a big part of being in The Bachelor. Of course you're distracted with like cameras. But once you get past that, you don't have a phone. You don't have any. And you really are. I feel like that's why people are so able to fall in love is because you've never been more in the moment with somebody talking about the most serious things. Like what makes a person
Starting point is 00:35:39 then where they come from, what bad things have happened to them and why they are here and all these things. Do you find it hard to scope out guys now knowing, I guess this would be a question I'd asked the last few seasons, knowing that, you know, social media is a thing, knowing that people want to be insta-famous, get brand deals, blow up, go viral. Was that hard for you thinking of guys' intentions coming in with that? 100%. Yeah. Like, it was like, I think I verbalized that night one. I was just like, yeah, I'm not here for that. And it's like the idea of it, honestly like I don't want to say it bothers me because it's like part of me it's just almost like okay I get it I guess I get it but it's like it's something I wouldn't do so that that's what makes
Starting point is 00:36:20 it hard to like I guess put myself in their shoes of understanding oh they're just utilizing an opportunity but like I know why I'm here and I'm here to find love so I'm not the one that wants to be the embuzzled and all of this also I think two things can exist I think people can go on for an opportunity and fall in love at the same time and be really happy like I definitely went on The Bachelor for an opportunity. I thought he was cute. I was like, I could get down with a farmer. I totally thought I could live on a farm.
Starting point is 00:36:49 I really believed it. And I was like, I'm really here for the opportunity. Then I obviously got on and I'm like, oh, shit, this can work. Okay, great. And so did you, is there anyone that came on your season that you felt like was there for like social media following that you sent home that you're like, you know what? I should have given that an eighth chance. No.
Starting point is 00:37:06 Okay, great. No. She knows. She knows. Period. I love it. What is the one thing that is making you the most nervous about your seasonary? I just feel like I have a lot of like really real conversations.
Starting point is 00:37:20 Oh, we need that. Yeah. A lot of real conversations, a lot of, there's going to be like a lot of vulnerability on like the guy's side too. I love that. And that's why I was like, of course that makes me know because I'm like, I just love when my name cry. And like all that. So do I because it's like, I think that's just. humans liking that and other humans too.
Starting point is 00:37:41 Right. You know, the vulnerability, all it does is create connection between two people. When you can just show. It draws people together. Oh, so I'm glad we'll get to see. Yeah. You'll see a lot of that. So that's like, I think it's just going to be like, it's going to be beautiful to see,
Starting point is 00:37:56 but it's also going to like, I think just obviously it's going to put me back in the moment. So it's like re like having these, like, re-listening to these conversations. And then it's just like, you know. And you're going through the media whirlwind right now of this, but then you'll have to, you know, this is going to continue. Yeah. How are you going to, how is charity going to protect her peace through all this? Oh, who knows?
Starting point is 00:38:14 We're in therapy, so that's, that's, yeah. Yes, we are. But, yeah, I mean, I don't know because it's like I, I like to, like, give myself boundaries of like, oh, if I'm too much time on social me, but it's like, this is almost part of my life now. Yeah. But still, like, knowing what's, like, healthy for me and what, like, if I need to, like, know, like, okay, when I am on the internet, I notice, like, how my body's feeling or what it's doing. It's like, okay, we need to take a break. Yeah. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:38:38 Good for a few hours. gosh yes okay just so i can know what to look for night one yeah what are your three biggest turn-ons in a guy um communication yeah i know that um good kisser do you kiss anybody night one yes yay you freaking should kiss them all yeah okay um but i'm also like okay so this is like new for me but like i'm a person like obviously like this is like this is night one we're like this meeting but like I've noticed how like my love languages have changed I'm like a sucker now for like physical touch it's like getting up there like my number one is like words of affirmation yeah I need it yeah but like the physical touch was like maybe like third or fourth but it's
Starting point is 00:39:25 like number two now so like just the little like small yeah like you know hands on the leg or just like on the back like I know like it might be like too much for some people but like for me it's like it's just like it's a reminder that you're like in the moment you're connecting with me like you're feeling something here yeah isn't that interesting how people's love languages change oh my god yes I feel like you and I could be good friends because I could use a lot of health in the mental health area but I could also guide you through a lot of things yeah I think it's like yeah it's a good trade off not that you need guidance I feel like you're yeah so much experience though like with all this just like on how to properly or maybe not even probably there's no right way there's no right way there's
Starting point is 00:40:08 definitely no right way. That was, I didn't even feel the need to tell you this before you went on your season. Maybe I did on DMs or something, but like I didn't even feel the need to tell you this because I felt like you were already doing it and I never want to make people overthink. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But it's always like you just have to live that TV moment as yes, you have to make TV, but also you have to find your person. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And you're going to obviously make mistakes. You're going to piss people off. You can't. You know, in that, literally too bad that's why i didn't need to tell you this too bad i knew it that's why i didn't need to tell you this i'm so happy you came over today thank you for having me you can come on the
