Starting point is 00:00:00 Okay, let's talk about the original enemies to lovers story. Before all of our reality TV couples, before the rom-coms, we binge, there was Elizabeth Bennett and Mr. Darcy in pride and prejudice. And Audible has just dropped a brand new original that will have you completely hooked, I am. It's not just any audiobook. This is a full cast performance. So Marisa Abella, you might know her from industry, brings Elizabeth Bennett to life.
Starting point is 00:00:25 And Harris Dickinson from Baby Girl and Where the Crawdads sing is Mr. Darcy. And honestly, the chemistry, you guys, it's everything. Plus, you've got icons like Glenn Close, Bill Nye and Will Polter in the mix. Talk about a dream cast. Now, what I love is how Marissa pulls you right into Lizzie's world, her stubbornness, her wit, her messy family dynamics, and of course, her complicated feelings for Darcy. And with a vibrant new adaptation and original score by Grammy-nominated composer, it just feels so fresh and modern while still keeping that timeless Jane Austen charm.
Starting point is 00:00:58 So whether it's your first time experiencing Pride and Prejudice or you've read it a million times, you're going to fall absolutely in love all over again. So go listen to Pride and Prejudice now at audible.ca slash Jane Austen. Okay, don't hit skip before we start today's podcast. I'm really excited. This is a personal, exciting thing for me. I wanted to quickly let you guys know about my upcoming Off the Vine tour called Poor Decisions. P-O-U-R-Doy wine will be drank. I'm back on the road.
Starting point is 00:01:25 For the first leg of our tour, I'm coming through the good old. Midwest. For the second half, I'll be headed to the southeast. So I'm going Columbus, Cleveland, Ohio, Atlanta, Madison, Des Moines, Kansas City, Columbia, Missouri, Tampa, Orlando, Nashville. Ah, I'm coming to all you beautiful people. These podcast tours are always a highlight of my year because there's just no other way to put it than it's just pretty damn fun. I get to hang out with you in person. It's just the energy is electric. It's just insane. Like leaving those live podcast, I'm like, whoa, that felt like an empowerment session. I feel elevated. The vibrations don't get me started on how high those are. So check out my website, Caitlinbristow.com
Starting point is 00:02:04 to buy tickets for those who join me. I can guarantee a little dancing, a lot of laughing, wine, lots of wine. Even if you're pregnant. I've had pregnant, sober people come to my show and say it was still fun. They bring their boyfriends, their husbands, and I even see them smiling at the end of it. So let's toast to that. I'll see you on tour. Hey, everybody. Welcome to Off the Vine. I'm your host, Caitlin Bristow. Today, love is blind. Ever heard of it? I feel like everyone around the world knows who Chelsea is. So no introduction is needed. But today, what do we talk about? We talk about everything. Literally. I told her, I said, you had to bite your tongue during that reunion. So today, she did not bite that tongue.
Starting point is 00:02:47 I was still in the tea. Everywhere. While drinking spade and spade and spritus wine.com. Well, everybody's going to enjoy this conversation. I already loved you. I love you even more after talking to you. So thank you for coming on. And you guys are going to really like this one. Okay, right off the bat, I just need to know how sick of the Megan Fox thing you are.
Starting point is 00:03:09 Like, are you like, the joke's not funny anymore. Or are you like leaning in? Because you were leaning in for a moment, which I freaking loved. And I loved it on the reunion. You were like, I'm actually really proud of how I've handled it because you did fully lean in and it made it so funny. Yeah. I mean, I think right now it's just so. It is old.
Starting point is 00:03:26 It's old. I'm like, okay, can we get creative? Because, like, I'm sick of it. You know, I had a whole ass relationship that had some shit that they could have, you know, dragged me for. But they chose to stick to this one thing. Which, okay, what would you rather? Would you rather them stick to the relationship shit or the Megan Fox bit?
Starting point is 00:03:45 Oof. That's good. Let's stick with the Megafox. You also have light eyes and dark hair. Do you get that? I do. I related to you very hard of that because I was like, I get told I look like Megan Fox sometimes and I always call myself like a dollar tree or like
Starting point is 00:03:59 a Craigslist Megan and I lean into that sometimes so when that happened with you I was like I get her yeah I understand we're on the same wavelength well I was actually wondering so are you allowed to talk about clearly you are but do they stop you from saying like a celebrity look alike on that show because I thought it was supposed to be you weren't supposed to talk about that so that is where the regrets come in because that right there I am going to be a written rule and it's going to be literally the Chelsea Blackwell rule because everyone was doing it. Everyone was having another celebrity lookalikes. Like it was just a silly conversation.
Starting point is 00:04:34 Our dates were five hours long. So it was just. Each date was five hours long? Towards the end. They started out at like 15 minutes and then they got longer and longer and longer. Did those five hours fly by or are you like, oh my God, no. They were so quick. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:04:49 Yeah. So it was nuts. Oh. I would picture like if you didn't want to be in there with someone, you'd be like, holy shit it's been 20 minutes and you can end it you can be like okay you know like let's go take a nap or something and then people go and take a nap in the lounge or they go get food or i'm such a napper i'll never forget on my season of or not my season of crystal season of the bachelor when i was on that one of the girls she always wanted to get in my head and she didn't like me
Starting point is 00:05:12 and she'd be like you nap a lot and i think that means you're depressed and i was like well i am depressed so thank you jokes on you jokes on you i am depressed I was like, damn it, cold out. That's like the people in my comments right now. You need help. I'm like, well, so do you. And I'm getting it. We all do.
Starting point is 00:05:32 And I'm probably the only one. I get that too where I'm like, I am getting help. What are you doing? You need it. You're the one on the internet bullying a stranger. You need help, weirdo. Same thing with the villain from the season of The Bachelorette got bullied so bad for being a bully. Who was it, the blonde girl?
Starting point is 00:05:49 Yeah. I liked her. Sydney, she's a sweetheart. She got a bad. it. And we're going to talk about that. But everyone was bullying her and I'm like, you realize you're bullying someone calling them a bully. So you're doing what you think they did on TV. But now you're, it doesn't make sense. Right. Well, it's the same for me. People are like, you're so insecure. But you have a big ass forehead. I'm like, oh. Well, she. Hey, somebody told me I had a big forehead the other day. I hate them all. I hate it. But it's such an easy thing to go after girls' appearance. Yes, for sure. Well, I feel like they went after Jimmy. is pretty hard, too. Like, I saw some mean ones. I was like, damn.
Starting point is 00:06:25 Yeah, yeah. But why, I mean, it's because you have a good personality, so they're like, damn, she's great. So I got to find something. She's actually, like, making fun of herself. So, isn't that? Let's go for her soul. Yeah, let's cut right into her soul with a knife. That's, yeah, it's, I do, I actually do see the resemblance.
Starting point is 00:06:44 And when you said Megan Fox, I was like, I actually see it, which I'm sure some people have told you, too, like, after the show. Yeah, yeah. There is resemblance. You do have light eyes. You do have dark hair. And there's something about your eyes shape, your nose, and your mouth that reminds me of her. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:58 It was just so strange because I don't see it. And I get it on the plane often. So I'm just like. Okay. But also how many other people in the pods gave celebrity lookalikes that they didn't show where they were way off? Like, do you have any examples where someone was like I look like? Like, what did Jimmy say what his celebrity look like was?
Starting point is 00:07:16 Jimmy was Christian McCaffrey. Who's that? A football. player oh okay yeah see Craigslist Christian McCaffrey but then my number three Ben he said he looked like Jude law I don't remember Ben he doesn't he doesn't he doesn't he's very handsome but we all were doing it people were drawing each other like yeah like it was just it's not a written rule and it needs to be that you can't do that yes yeah because I remember Gianina I remember her talking about her guy and how he said he was a combo of
Starting point is 00:07:54 Zach Ephron and someone else like couldn't be further off. Yeah. But I'm like... The guy she picked? Yeah. He doesn't look like Zach Ephron. Well, I can't say shit. Fair enough. But I just feel like that should be a written rule that you can't talk about that. Yeah. I mean, it is the point of the show. Right. So people are trying to like, you know, go in and out of the line. Yeah. And, you know,
Starting point is 00:08:18 it's love is blind. Yeah. So, don't see who somebody looks like you're supposed to go don't have an idea yeah i don't know about that so obviously you got a lot of backlash and which i think is silly but not only for that comment but just people everyone gets backlash from that show but i feel like Trevor doesn't get the backlash that you get and he's literally sitting there using the show for fame and telling a girl he loves her and he wants to marry her like that blows my mind what do you think it is i think that he had such a good edit right at first that he kind of just became a fan favorite yeah so they're worse since he was a fan favorite they're rooting for him they were rooting for him and
Starting point is 00:09:00 their diehard trevers but it has switched okay so people are giving him a really hard time that I want anyone to get bullied right exactly but yeah it's just so silly because people were so mad at me because I didn't pick him yeah and then I see later on and I'm like talking nothing but highly of him he is a wonderful person sure and i look on tic-tok and he's making all these tic-toks against me and i'm like sir why just you know feeding into chelsea dumped me and i was so upset i'm like this did not age well i am so sick of men using like they see what works and leaning in because i'm like well okay i take that back because if it's a pity party because i'm like i love what you did where it was funny and you're like leaning into the megam fox bit but like when men are
Starting point is 00:09:50 like oh poor me and then they see girls like feeling sorry for them and then they are like oh this is working for me i'm going you're like what you're doing yeah it's it's icky yeah it's just cringy how how do you think that people at this point in in all the years we've had reality television how do you think people still are not understanding that we are edited yeah like that they think i see this person for two hours once every week and now I know them. Right. And this is exactly who they are.
Starting point is 00:10:23 Yep. And this is what they stand for. And this is their only camera time. This is, yes. Like, how do you think they portrayed you unfairly in like who you actually are? Yeah. Oh, God. Well, because I saw you biting your tongue at that reunion and I'm like, this is, you need a voice.
Starting point is 00:10:39 How crazy was that? I couldn't believe it. I was waiting the whole time for what you had to say. And then at the end I was like, what? And I had some shit to say. You will say it now, girl. we got mics for that um yeah i think that i was portrayed very very very insecure yeah obviously which is so opposite of who i am as a person yeah and i was portrayed as very crazy emotional
Starting point is 00:11:06 which i am emotional same you know like that's who i am i will never apologize for that good but the way that they only focus on my insecurities and being emotional set me for a loop and like the whole time we were prepping jimmy to have this horrible edit and so here i am like okay i told my mom i'm like mom i'm good like i'm Gucci like my edit's gonna be fine yeah like no it's not like you're cry baby oh god they're only going to show that you're like no no no no no i'm good oh my gosh we had so many good moments yeah the only time they focused on was when we were arguing yeah so when it comes to me in real life. Like, that is the complete opposite.
Starting point is 00:11:49 Yes, I'm emotional and I will never deny that. Right. But I am not insecure. Yeah. I was in an insecure relationship that really heightened that. Yeah. But I am a strong, secure woman. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:00 I'm like, y'all did me dirty. Which is nice that you can have your own platform now and like, you're like, okay, the show does what it does because we need the couple that argues. We need the couple that's in love. We need the couple that's crazy. We need the toxic one. Like they need. Oh, we were all one.
Starting point is 00:12:16 Yeah. They need that for television, right? They need to manufacture it for television and for viewers and all of that stuff. So you unfortunately had to be, you know, and everyone says you sign up for it, but you do not know what the hell you're signing up for when you do it. No matter how many seasons you've watched, you don't understand until you're in it. But yeah, they kind of have to fit those roles for each character. So you get to be this character.
Starting point is 00:12:39 But now you get to, you know, go on podcasts and use your social media. I mean, I think about we didn't have Instagram stories when I came off The Bachelor. Oh, my gosh. I'd Snapchat. Oh, there you go. So I got to use that. Wait, I remember following your stories. Really?
Starting point is 00:12:52 I was obsessed with you. I was Snapback Bean. My Snapback Bean was my Snapchat name and everyone used, people used to come out to me on the streets to be like, Snapback B, what's up? And I'm like weird. Oh, my God. But you do enjoy, are you able to now kind of speak your truth? Yeah, I think that social media is such a strong, like, amazing, magical thing where we can
Starting point is 00:13:14 kind of like rebuttal ourselves. So as soon as it dropped So I had this whole massive release party where all my girls got together And I'm like, woo, this is going to be so fun And then as we're watching, I'm like, oh no This is not working out of my favor And I remember laying in bed that night by myself
Starting point is 00:13:32 And I was reading the comments I'm like, this is going to be crusty So I'm like, how do I handle this? And instantly I went on my socials And I was like, okay, like Let's laugh at this. This is crazy. you know let's talk about it because that was hard to watch yeah and I'm so grateful to have my social media platform I've never been a social media person no so this is a weird weird world
Starting point is 00:13:57 for me oh I can't even imagine because a lot of people like I feel like I was born to be on social media I love it I love being like this is my little like like a camera out to the world like what and I love it and but for people who go on a show like that you don't really I mean you see camera cruise when you're doing your like little interview when you're in the pods you don't really see camera crews right and that's why i acted a fool because i'm like there's no cameras on me like i'm well you probably acted like yourself but they of course can pick and choose what they get to show yeah but it's just so i i just love it because i'm like one of my favorite things about podcasting is being able to bring people on and be like okay now you have a mic now you get to share your side
Starting point is 00:14:41 and and sometimes shows like ABC for example sometimes they're like oh take that out or like don't say that but i'm like you can't silence people and and it does nothing but draw more attention to the show right exactly netflix does a better job at that they kind of do do let people abc's crazy like you can't say anything i'm like just let people go wrong good how come they didn't really let you speak at the reunion i was just going to say besides of the reunion what the heck is that about i don't know i i don't think anybody knows my my prediction was that they were kind of saving us for something else, such as
Starting point is 00:15:18 after the altar. Oh, okay. But I don't even know if that's confirmed or not. So I don't know. What Netflix should do is take all of the interviews now that you do, not me, just trying to get off the line on Netflix. I'm like, they should take all of your interviews. I know a guy.
Starting point is 00:15:35 Yeah. Mash him up and be like, here's what she's been up to ever since. And then at the, whatever the altar, after the altar, is that an episode? Do they do that in the past? so the only season they didn't do it for was season five oh okay um so we're hoping yeah we haven't heard anything but we're hoping we get one to well i'm hoping so i can freaking rebuttal myself but you know i wonder so were were they like hey just you know let
Starting point is 00:16:01 other people do their thing on this episode like did they specifically say that or were you like didn't have a chance to get in there and kind of say what you wanted they they definitely guide the reunion yeah but um people are saying like jimmy and i requested not to be spoken to and that's complete opposite like i went in there guns of blazing and like i got some shit to say yeah and jimmy was like shaking in his boots because i'm like i'm gonna i'm gonna say some shit oh my gosh wait so we need to know what is the shit that you wanted to say on the reunion why was jimmy shaking in his boots yeah what happened what's terms apply i mean i think it's just You know, I hate, I hate talking about the edit, and it sucks.
Starting point is 00:16:44 And I will never say, like, oh, the edit did me dirty. They did. But, you know, the way I reacted is the way I reacted. You can't edit that. You can't put some girl crying and just freak it out, you know. But they missed out so many key components of those arguments. And the why? And, you know, a lot of people don't understand that we only filmed from like 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Starting point is 00:17:10 because of his work schedule so we only had these little moments and then we would have like two days off a week which i'm like i don't need time off like yeah let's get this shit on camera yeah yeah so we only had a little window to be on camera and that's when like you know how it is like they would come up and be like all right now's a good time to so that argument where i lost my ever-loving mind on the patio is because we just met my parents yeah and it was amazing it was absolutely the most beautiful day and he just told me how much you love me and it was so amazing and here comes our producer and she's like all right tell jimmy everything he did that pissed you off the past two days and i'm like bet two dirty martini's there i'm ready to go yeah that'll do
Starting point is 00:17:56 it too yeah yeah so there's just you know i felt that way for a reason everything i said was so valid i don't regret anything i said in any argument because it's It's valid. Right. And he led me to those points, but I regret my delivery. Sure. A thousand percent. Who doesn't look back on an argument and regret their delivery?
Starting point is 00:18:18 Right. Even when I'm in my, you can tell I go to therapy when I talk like this. Even when I'm in my adult self, like thinking like an adult and not being emotional, I still can regret the way I deliver emotions because they're emotions. And sometimes they're stronger than us. A hundred percent. And when they're filmed. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:37 And it's so interesting to think of. everybody watching that saying their opinions because you're like go on national television and not make a mistake right yeah in a in a situation where you're so vulnerable you just had this amazing day now you're being told to talk about what upsets you and then you're being edited to make it look like you just brought up what upsets you and that's how it was every time yeah so so what upset you I was so like I hate saying this but I obeyed everything because I'm like okay like Right. Right. Because you're part of the show. Yeah. Right. So when they're asking me, like, hey, this is a good time to bring this up. I'm like, you're right. Yeah. Let's talk about this. And in my head, I'm like, oh, that conversation ate. I did so good with that. No crumbs left.
Starting point is 00:19:24 Holy cow. So that was very, like, interesting to see how it was edited. And Jimmy, you know, I will start this conversation by saying him and I are great now. Okay. Good. that. And I don't want him to have any hate, but we had a horrible relationship that I saw right through. Yeah. So me speaking up and talking about our relationship, it's going to happen. And he's not happy right now at all. Because you're able to speak. Okay. It's so interesting that, you know, people come out of these shows and they think, I got, you know, either a good or bad at it. But let's say you got a good one. Let's say Jimmy thinks he got a good one. Then you're like I got out clean and I don't have to worry about this and then as soon as somebody else speaks
Starting point is 00:20:07 their truth they panic yeah and so then I go is jimmy already plotting for what you could say on this podcast to have a rebuttal and is it going to be this ongoing cycle of things are you afraid of like speaking your truth sometimes because of that yeah yeah no I think he is so smart and I'm just kind of like this is a new world for me so I'm trying to navigate it the best way I can Yeah. At the end of the day, this is my truth and this is my story as well. Yeah, you got a you got a great at it that we weren't nobody was expecting. Right. And God bless you. I'm so excited for you that that's the end story for you. But now you're living on Cloud 9 and I'm going through the trenches. Has he been there for you while you've gone through the trenches? He has been. He's been absolutely wonderful. He's been very supportive. But he hasn't once asked me not to speak. Okay. but when I do he's not happy about it so so what is he upset about what are you upset about with him and what is he afraid of I think I'm upset that he's not you know we were on nix and he had the choice to or he had the option to say you know what my actions did you know feed into her insecurities
Starting point is 00:21:25 he had the choice he had the opportunity had the opportunity and he chose not to take it And so, you know, he did get this great at it and he wants to keep it there. Yep. He doesn't want the hate. And I don't want anybody to be where I'm at right now. I always preface that because I think it's important for you to be able to say things without worrying about him getting bullied or attacked online because you shouldn't have to worry about protecting other people anymore. That's so true. And I felt the same with Trevor.
Starting point is 00:21:56 Yes. You know, I didn't want to say anything bad about Trevor. I don't. I still don't. And I didn't want to say anything bad about. me but at the end of the day you know I'm getting dragged we're not picking Trevor no one understood why because I wasn't speaking up right so at the end of the day it screws me yeah and it's just me yeah so I'm the only one who's responsible for my happiness and my you know my outcome and I'm not saying anything to for who right right what did he do like what what do you wish he could have owned and
Starting point is 00:22:22 take an accountability for that it's unfair to you I mean his actions during the entire process were so, so, so slimy. Like what? I mean, have you heard the whole how he FaceTime me and then went out and butt dialed me? No. Okay, so that's the really slimy thing. But everything else, he just really liked to go out.
Starting point is 00:22:46 He liked to, you know, he had his girlfriend, and they swear they only went out one time. And, I mean, I will never do this ever in my life. I have receipts, my boy, and I will never air them, ever. But like, but just no, I have them. But just no. you know so he went out got drunk but dialed you and was he talking shit so oh my gosh well basically that would be horrible but so he i went out with laura n-d and we had a girl's little wine
Starting point is 00:23:12 night nothing crazy i was right down the street from the townhouse we all were just catching up on our like oh my gosh like we got some tea to spill right you know whatever this is off camera this is off camera okay so we go down the street we have some wine i get back to the townhouse Jimmy text me He goes out with someone else From the pods And they're at some cigar bar And he texts me
Starting point is 00:23:34 He's like hey do you mind If I stay at my apartment tonight And I'm like no That's fine Space is space Good do your thing That's healthy And I knew
Starting point is 00:23:41 I kind of knew I could feel him Pulling away a bit So I'm like this would be really beneficial for you And me Yeah So Then he FaceTimes me
Starting point is 00:23:50 In bed Okay With the covers over him Like up to his neck Which I'm not I'm not dumb And that's why everyone's like, you're an idiot. I'm like, no, I'm not dumb.
Starting point is 00:24:01 Yeah. Like, I'm very, very smart. Well, now I feel dumb. I'm like, what is he doing? Why see if his covers on there. Right. So I'm like, okay, this is fishy. So the blankets are over him.
Starting point is 00:24:12 He's in bed. He's like, I'm just so tired. I'm going to call in a night. I'm going to go to bed. You know, yada, yada. And I'm sitting there like, okay, this is fishy. Tell him good night. I'm already at the townhouse.
Starting point is 00:24:23 I get out of the car. Go up to the townhouse. He butt dials me. And you hear him laughing with all his friends, all his girlfriends. Shut. Talking about the next place they're going. And I'm just like, why? And it still wasn't hanging up and I hung up because I'm in disbelief.
Starting point is 00:24:40 I'm like, oh my gosh. Oh my God. You? I would have been like, I would have had someone taking notes and I would have been like getting my computer out to film it and being like, oh, that would have been so smart. So he butt dials you. He's laughing talking about. Did you call him out, obviously? So I didn't know what to do.
Starting point is 00:24:57 I had no idea because I just, I was so dumbfounded. Yeah. So I call Laura an AD and I'm like, I went back to my car, sat in my car. I'm like, do I drive my ass to this bar? Like, what do I do? I would have. Yeah, well, anyone would. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:14 Like any normal woman, well, not normal, but like. Well, I mean, I consider that normal behavior. Any woman who is in love. Yeah. And is having this shit happen. And obviously he can't tell you the truth. So you need to confront. in a situation where he doesn't have a choice but to be like I fucked up exactly yeah so AD was
Starting point is 00:25:33 like uh-uh call that man and I'm like all right so I call him he doesn't answer and then I texted him and I was like all that for what like what was the point of that and he gas lit so bad blamed it on me of course he did and I just went to bed that night he didn't he didn't show up and the next morning he was talking about how he was on the light rail back to his apartment and saw the can camera crew and I'm like so you didn't stay at your apartment where were you and I never asked him about it what and that was the day he told me he was calling off the wedding then he called it off again so this was the first time he told me well now I'm confused why are you great with this man what I want to punch him right in the dick yeah it was a really really shitty feeling he's really
Starting point is 00:26:21 okay so yeah it's like you can you can be confident and secure in in so many things until you're in a relationship that doesn't make you feel confident and secure and you're trying everything because you're like okay it's the show and right well and i committed to him right like i said yes to him yeah i'm like all right i'm gonna see through this but the second we got to charlotte that's when you like your whole gut was like screaming yeah and well we got our phones back and everything just went to shit and i'm like okay so in my biggest regret is i knew right then and there that this man just did not give two shits about me At all.
Starting point is 00:26:58 And the second he had his phone and had an outlet. Yeah. You know, I thought for sure I was going to get so much hate for staying with him. And it ended up being the opposite. So I'm like, man, I was just, you know, I committed to him. I was just trying my hardest. And he was not giving me a reason to stay, but I did. And I don't know why.
Starting point is 00:27:23 I feel like I will never do that shit again. Well, that's the why right there. You learned a lesson. Oh, my gosh, yeah. You know, sometimes we have to do those things to look back and be like, I will never put myself through that again. And I mean, do you believe in karma? 100%. I am like the, and it does, I always say, I should make t-shirts because I say this all the time.
Starting point is 00:27:42 Listen, let's make a trucker hat. Let's make a trucker hat. Oh, yeah, brother. Yes. I'm obsessed with you. It needs to say karma has no deadline because it could be 10 years from now. It could be 10 days from now. But I believe good things happen to good people.
Starting point is 00:27:57 And I don't want bad things to happen to bad people, but I want them to learn and have a little fall from grace. A little slice of humble pie or the whole thing. I think, do you think that's starting, tables are starting to turn? I mean, I know you say you guys are fine now, but I heard, didn't you say somewhere that you guys are not together, but you're not, not together? We definitely not together. I, yeah, I learned my lesson very quickly that once someone tells me no, I will never do that shit again. good we will be friends and i support you and i love you as a person but you know his karma right now which i hate saying is that he is getting a little taste of the hate that i've been getting
Starting point is 00:28:37 this whole time yeah because i've been speaking yeah and i'm like listen i'm really sorry but i've been here for a month and it's been very i mean i'm fine but it's a dark place it is a dark place and i don't want anybody there ever of course not so i don't want him to have any hate by any means but your actions, my boy. Yeah. I mean, those two, you can not want him to get hate and also have your truth. Yeah. Right.
Starting point is 00:29:04 Yeah. And, you know, we were in a media blackout for so long. Yeah. So I wasn't able to speak. Oh, I know. I was like, can we please get her on the podcast media blackout? I'm like, no. I was like, Caitlin, get me on Caitlin.
Starting point is 00:29:17 I was like, you, I really, like, loved you from day one because I can see through some things, sometimes with like how they edit shows and I could tell you were confident and I could tell you were biting your tongue a lot of times and I could tell what you were doing but I'm also emotional I'm confident I'm insecure I'm emotional I'm like strong yes and we're in we're bad bitches because of that yes because we're in tune with everything that's going on like I am the most self-aware psychopath ever like what I'm being psych I'm like I know yes I'm aware and it's very aware that's why I'm crying right now yeah I call my um period hurricane Katrina and I'm like she is not me
Starting point is 00:29:55 I am not her it takes over my body what I say and do in these times like don't God bless you it's not me it's Katrina we all we can do
Starting point is 00:30:03 is pray for her and we will say many prayers for her and we don't blame her and then talk to me in a week because I'll make decisions that'll ruin my whole life right now in this moment
Starting point is 00:30:12 but just give me a week same says let me go Is he doing media too? He has chosen not to speak right now right now he's doing a lot of um healing self-searching soul searching not me looking right into the camera oh though he's doing a lot of um appearances oh which i'm not like bar appearances i hate when people do that i did it but i hate what people do i remember like the first moment
Starting point is 00:30:41 coming off a show and there a bar that i used to work at called cowboys in calgary alberta i will never forget they were like do you want x amount of dollars and come like party for the night and i was like you've got to be shitting me. I used to work my ass off for 100 bucks a night shaking my house. I'm like now I'm like hell yeah I'll be there. Yeah. Oh my gosh. But that got old really quick. It's so hard. How okay I always ask people this or I always think about this when people come off a show that's so crazy you literally go overnight to like everybody knowing who you are. You said before we started recording Travis Kelsey is mocking you. Yeah. In a loving way of course. you've made it um which means taylor swift knows who you are so six degrees of separation it's
Starting point is 00:31:27 going to be great yeah i feel like i'm like in touch with a royal family like you know you are you are you are but so like when you come off a show like that and you have all of this success and fame and people everyone around the world knows who you are like including the royals taylor and travis how how do you stay humble and know like this is a season of a tv show you might even you were saying you might go back to work I don't I don't think you should I think you should make hey well the sun trying I don't know
Starting point is 00:31:58 move to Nashville and start a podcast with me I don't know but like how are you going to try and you know people get really lost in that I don't want to say men more specifically but I do see it happen to men more because they get a lot of attention from the ladies and they love it what do you plan to do to
Starting point is 00:32:15 like stay humble and if you do go back to your job how? How are you going to do that? I mean I just know myself. I know my heart. I know who I am. I know what makes me happy. And I just, you know, I know my people. Yeah. I never want to, you know, lose those people. Yeah. Because they will ground you. Those people will keep you humble. Also, the whole damn show really humbled me. So let's be so for real. I have zero like, like, like, I have zero like plans to change anything about myself right now. Like even, you know, coming out here, I was like, I'm going to drive. I'm going to have a little adventure. And I don't know, I just, I have, you know, I feel very secure in who I am as a person. No, I know you do. That's, I mean, and to come out of having them focus so much on your insecurities, sometimes that, I mean, they do it to Bachelorette and Bachelors all the time. They really focus on like your weak times or like when you're emotional.
Starting point is 00:33:11 And you start to question. Yeah. Wait, am I like this or do I need to work on this? Like, yeah. It starts to kind of mess with you. but I just, I don't know how you're going to do it if you go back to being a flight attendant because, I'm scared, I am scared. What, everyone is going to know who you are on the plane.
Starting point is 00:33:30 Well, even flying here just now, I'm like, it was a frenzy. I went to Walgreens right at the street. Your whole neighborhood is so stinking cute. Oh, isn't it cute? Yeah. I'm so obsessed. But I went to your neighborhood Walgreens. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:43 And I was like, Kately goes here. I'm obsessed of you. And it was a frenzy. so yeah it's just like going on a plane being in a tube with people I am scared but I am very I'm very grateful everyone's been so kind yes I mean that's the nice thing no matter what in person people are never going to be like you blah blah have you experienced like what's the weirdest fan experience you've had so far well this was my bad so I take full credit for this but I went to lunch with one of the girls from the show on St. Patrick's Day during the bar crawl oh lord and it was chaos yeah So people were literally grasping me and locking me in their arms. And I was like, ooh! Yeah, and I'm not a germaphobe or anything. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:27 But like, no, bubble. Oh, scary. Yeah. And people were kissing on me. And I'm like, oh, my gosh, okay, this is crazy. But they were so friendly and so kind. So I'm not complaining at all, but it's new. So now what?
Starting point is 00:34:39 Like, can you get on like Raya and go on dating apps now? Are you, like, excited to get out there again? Yeah, I just applied for Raya. Hell yeah. I know. I haven't told anyone that. wait that makes me so excited for you i want you to call me and be like okay i'm swiping on this guy listen just join my date okay okay i'll be the moderator i will do it tell me no no no is no are you
Starting point is 00:35:01 excited to date um i haven't done it in a while obviously so yeah i'm excited have you been on a date since jimmy no oh no yeah but any potential suitors kind of kind of in that little break we had I was like, you know what, let me get out there, but. But nothing that really, like, floated your boat. No. No. Whoever I date next, I want them to be divorced. Yes.
Starting point is 00:35:24 I think people who are divorced know exactly what they want. I feel like they've learned so much. They've lived life. Yes. You are divorced. You said it on the show, right? Yeah. Has your ex ever reached out and been like, you killed it on love is blind?
Starting point is 00:35:37 Like, is he like, holy shit, you're on the show? Do you talk to him at all? So I reached out to him and said, he actually was in Nashville. No way. He's like an artist out here, which is amazing. But I reached out to him and I was like, hey, I just want to let you know. Like, I was on the show. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:52 Could you say what show? Yeah. Oh, okay. This was as soon as it aired. Yeah. Because I'm just so weary about everything. And he did reach out to me and he was like, you know, thank you for not saying my name. He's married and has a baby.
Starting point is 00:36:05 Okay. It's cool. Yeah. My two other, one of my exes is pissed. He's, I'm talking shit about him. I was like, he plays video games all the time. He's like, what the. I hate one guys are like you do you're like I'm not lying like that never a lie never a lie was spoken yeah you're like you do play except I used to be the girl I everyone knows that listens to my podcast I literally got addicted to call of duty and I used to play for like eight hours a day and I got he did oh I got greasyy grasty oh crusty oh crazy I was greasy I literally like greasy I literally like greasy I was greasy oh my god I want to know if you
Starting point is 00:36:44 watched previous seasons of the show because some people don't know what they're getting into and some people do did you know what you're getting into oh yeah I'm a big fan oh you are okay was it what you thought it would be yeah yeah it was it's weird because you know it's the concept is so basic and it is exactly what I thought going into it but like being there and like the speaker the only thing that blew my mind is the speaker in the in the room yeah nuts is it like little things like that I'm like this is crazy because it's obviously you don't just hear them through the wall it's like through a speaker yeah yeah yeah and it's really loud oh it is so i thought i was going to be hollering like hollering through the freaking wall and i was about to like punch through
Starting point is 00:37:24 the wall sometimes like get through them yeah but um it's so loud and it's so thick the wall oh yeah crazy i want to just go into experience like i don't go do a podcast from the pod it's cool where do they feel oh they just pick a location in each city and then build the pods so the pods are in Santa Clarita. Oh. In near LA. Oh, so everybody goes out to the same spot every season. That's where the reunion was also filmed, which is cool. I have a question. Just because they do this on Bachelor, Bachelor, I had a three-hour psych evaluation where I had to do like a personality test, talk to a psychic, psychic, I wish. Psychiatrist. Oh my God, I wish. And you did like,
Starting point is 00:38:08 like they really asked me, I mean, they asked me. some crazy questions. Did they do that for you guys too? For sure. So everyone in my DMs like, you need a psyche valve. You need to pass it. You're like, ask the show. They've got it.
Starting point is 00:38:21 Roll the tapes because it was brutal. It was intense. Yeah. It was so, so crazy. It was a year long process to get hired onto the show. Like, it was wild. Did you apply and then like find out you're going on then it was a year of like going through a process and then how long until it actually came out from when it filmed?
Starting point is 00:38:41 So it was a whole. whole year. It was like 8 million questions in one, but sorry. It was a whole year to apply. Then they didn't tell me I was going out until a week before. Yeah. So they didn't tell me I was flying out to LA to do the experiment until a week before. And I'm like, bro, I got to get Botox. I got to get new outfits. I got I got shit to do my guy. A week before, flew out. And then we filmed March 26, was our first date of last year. Okay. And then it was 10 months. So got it. Is that the usual timeline for the show? I have no idea.
Starting point is 00:39:13 Oh, yeah. Big fan, you are. I know. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. Is there any behind the scenes moments? I'm sure there's a million that you wish that were shown. But anything that would surprise people, even like just about the show in general, that you
Starting point is 00:39:30 were like, oh, my God, this is such a fun behind the scenes moment. Yeah. I mean, I think it's crazy because nothing is scripted besides like them kind of like leading conversations. They never tell you, like, what to say, which I was really surprised by. I'm like, okay, they're going to give me some, like prompts here and there. They never did. No. Interesting.
Starting point is 00:39:50 Yeah. So they would, you know, like our arguments, they love that. Of course. They would, you know, hint that. But they would never tell us, okay, you should really talk about this. You should really talk about that. They would suggest it. They'd be like, let's talk about certain things.
Starting point is 00:40:03 So that was really surprising. But there's so many goofy things, like, you know, the whole crews. We have a whole massive crew. Each couple had like 12 people with them. It is wild because when you watch the show, you think, oh, you're just two people in a room. There's probably like one producer, a camera person somewhere. Yeah. Yeah. And I remember I remember getting out of the limo to go on my night one of going on The Bachelor.
Starting point is 00:40:26 And you're like, holy shit, I've watched the show for years. And you think when you come out of the limo, you're going to hear the music. And it's just like dead silent. And you're like, hey, what's up? And then you're like, why is it as romantic as you thought it would be? You hear like the steps on the wet concrete. Yeah, and they're like, then they're like, hold, and they like come spray the driveway before the next girl gets out. Yeah, holds all the time.
Starting point is 00:40:49 Well, all the time, holding. And then you look around and it's, I mean, there's like a hundred people on night one when I stepped out of that limo. Oh, just like part of the crew. Like, there was a tent with, like, in case something happened. There's like ambulances. Like, there's like a whole crew. There's producers through the executives. There's everyone on night one.
Starting point is 00:41:07 And you're like, oh, what it's just going to be new here? Like, it's so weird. It's surreal. It's very surreal. It is surreal. I'm sure you weren't either, but like, I've never done anything and like showbiz. No, no, no, no, no, I did not understand at all. I need to talk about this. The, have you spoken to Jimmy's two girlfriends since that whole thing? Like, what? Do you have a relationship with them now or was there? Because it's not. This is good. It's, well, it's not fair that you weren't allowed to say something. And I love that you did because it's like, sorry that you did that and told me about. it and that this affects our relationship. I'm not going to fake it for you. That was a huge issue in my relationship. Totally. I did just see her for the first time.
Starting point is 00:41:51 And? Like by accident, ran into her or planned to see her? No, no, no, no. Oh, shit, no. Ran into her at a bar. She came up to me. You know, I apologized to her before. She did just post a TikTok video of her.
Starting point is 00:42:04 Oh, come on, people. Yeah, of her and Jimmy's new hat line that says I'm not willing to take a step back. I don't even remember that line. So I asked him, I said, can you please take a step back from her? It's just, they're making merch on your, on your quote to sell on hats. His quote, his quote. Yeah, but I asked them, yeah, so it was, it was pretty great. That came out yesterday, so this is new.
Starting point is 00:42:27 Oh, my gosh, they made hats. That's why you said, let's make trucker hats. We're making hats. Well, no, that was my plan before, girl. I'm like, I'm a trucker hat queen. Like, that's my thing. And now they're, yeah, so they haven't posted it. They haven't launched it yet, but...
Starting point is 00:42:43 Don't you worry, I do. That, you're like, two could play that game. Yeah, and there's no, like, competition. Yeah, there is. I am the most competitive bitch out there, and I'm like, there is competition and you will win. It was just, it was, it wasn't that tasteful, so... I mean, if he, it's not tasteful, and if he didn't want that secret out, then he could have held it till, you know... But it just shows, like, they don't give a shit.
Starting point is 00:43:05 They don't give a shit. I don't like that. Yeah. I don't... I'm getting everyone blow me up. They're like, do you see... Do you see this? I'm like, yeah, I see it.
Starting point is 00:43:13 I don't like that. Yeah, that's pretty. I'm, I'm impressed that you guys are on good terms. What, how? You just, I mean her. No, him. Oh. Or you're just choosing, like, do you see each other?
Starting point is 00:43:24 We've seen each other often. Because I saw stuff on, like, TikTok and stuff where you guys were like out and like, and I'm like, what's going on? We were doing, we were doing press. Oh, okay. Yeah. And we couldn't say it until it released it. Oh, okay. It launches tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:43:37 Okay. Okay. Okay, got it. Well, let's make better hats. um how did your family react and like we're i know you said your mom was a little like worried about it but were they shocked by everything and how it went down just like the whole situation or just yeah because they met they met him and everything seemed so wonderful and then were they like what the hell happened and yeah they saw right through oh they did okay okay yeah it's interesting
Starting point is 00:44:07 when families do right because you're in the experiment and you're being produced and you are in this bubble and then you go around people that ground you and that's why you probably can't talk to them the whole time or see them because they would see right through it and then you'd be like oh yeah what am I doing yeah totally that's so interesting so they they did really like him um but we had you know my family wasn't aired which was a bummer but yeah we had a great time and it was very special but they were like he's a salesperson he's selling himself to us my brother told him on camera if you break her heart i will break your legs yeah so like he like they made business and they saw right through him so they liked him my mom wishes now that you know i had time to heal
Starting point is 00:44:52 he had time to heal so now she's like would you ever like no yeah yeah yeah because healing brings on the benefit of hindsight and then you either are like you know what or you're like absolutely yeah yeah and he's great he's wonderful so he's going to make someone very happy but it's not going to me. Will he or will he just sell them on it? I don't say you. I did. I'm like
Starting point is 00:45:16 those people who give me the used car salesman vibes I'm like good luck but not you're not going to fool me. I mean you might for a few years but not any longer than a few years. Fool me one. Shame on you. Are you me eight times? Okay.
Starting point is 00:45:33 I'm over it. That's literally how I felt. He took them three times to tell me he didn't like me for me to be like okay oh my god so do you think he was just like trying to like you know play the good guy and knowing it'll be on tv that's interesting yeah i think he was trying to see it through and really explore it but at the end of the day it's like he told me he wasn't going to go to the altar but yet we're still sleeping together so he keeps saying he was checked out but like we're still being intimate with each other and it's very confusing you're still
Starting point is 00:46:06 telling me you love me yeah it doesn't mind I don't like mine. I don't like it at all. I don't like my husband. And I don't like trucker hats. Just kidding. Those are fighting words, girl.
Starting point is 00:46:16 I'm just kidding. If you like him, I like them. If you're a bird, I'm a bird. What are your thoughts on, what are your thoughts on Sarah Ann and Jeremy? Is that his name?
Starting point is 00:46:24 Yeah. What are your thoughts on that? That was wild. Yeah, that whole situation was so crazy to see play out. It was just nuts. Because you're like, and then the people call them out,
Starting point is 00:46:35 was it you? And you're like, you're not even, you're on and off like yeah i was like thank you yes she said something every time i've seen him out they've been broken up so i'm like y'all sitting here like you're yeah i'm like sir every time i woke up to you you're like oh no i'm like are you a sarian no i'm not with her anymore i'm okay and then the reunion they're like we're in love we're in love we're so happy yeah so yeah okay it was icky bless them and block them yeah bless and block girl that's my motto
Starting point is 00:47:06 Okay. I just, the icky, that word is exactly how I felt seeing it. Oh, it was so cringe. Like, it's so interesting because, you know, some people I'm like, I'm sure you're lovely in person. Yeah. But this situation is making me have the ick. Yeah. Yeah. And that's okay. Yeah. But it is what it is. You know, we don't have to be friends with them. Yeah. Totally. Who are you? Like, they probably, you know, they had a horrible edit. But people, you know, we aren't all going to gel. Yeah. In the real world. Right. Exactly. that's fine yeah who are you the closest with out of everybody all of them honestly which is so special um amy and johnny are super wonderful laura god i love them god they're so i'm obsessed they're literally how they are on the show i believe that and it's so sweet to see sunny laura all of the girls are just so great it's just we got so lucky with the women yet they all seem very lovely i really liked this season i mean there's a reason why it's the most stream season. I feel like it was such a good cast. Are Trevor and that girl still together now? Hell no. I think there's like lawsuits. Oh shit. I think it's very very messy. Okay. But she reached out to me and I just
Starting point is 00:48:20 thought she was someone, her friend reached out to me and I thought it was just some random girl coming out of the woodworks. Yeah. And I'm about to go to the reunion and she's like, I have some shit. I'm like, all right. And then we get our phone taken away. Did Trevor know that was coming out? When he came out, did he know that was i think he knew it got dropped because as soon as it got released was when the reunion happened the silent pause was like it reminded me of when tyra banks told me i was the winner of dancing with the stars it was like the most uncomfortable amount of silent pot i was like say something say something and that's what i was doing while he was sitting there i'm like oh oh oh so uncomfortable i'm like just so cringy i feel i my heart honestly god what he did was so bad i know i felt bad too
Starting point is 00:49:04 It was so bad, but seeing a grown man who's so big, shaking in his boots, shaking in his boots and be so small was very hard. I went out there and they were telling me like, go into him, tell him how you feel. And I'm like, but I didn't choose him. Yeah. So I didn't feel I had space to say anything and like drill him in a deeper hole. Yeah. So I was going to say some stuff and be like, brough. Right.
Starting point is 00:49:29 With a second, I like witnessed it. I could never. Yeah, it made me uncomfortable. yeah somebody else said on company in that episode and i was like wait that's so funny i always say that i want to talk nick lachay and Vanessa i love them i didn't understand even when people like get so icked out by a nick's um tictock i was like when i thought his voice was so good yeah like and they get such a hard time i do feel like they did a really good job this season even though i'm biased and i always think they do because i love them yeah but i feel like
Starting point is 00:49:56 they kind of got put through the ringer as well as hosts like got bullied last season oh yeah But I feel like they're lovely. I think they're lovely. Yeah. I think they're really wonderful. I wish they just asked Jimmy and I more. It was kind of like they just skimmed over us and they were so focused on everyone else. But also that's not them.
Starting point is 00:50:13 Right. I bet they have earpieces and they're being told. And Vanessa's a boss bitch. She's like sitting there like, shut up, shut up. Like in her earpiece. Really? She's like, this light's not on. Turn this light on.
Starting point is 00:50:26 I'm like, you're boss bitch. I would be you when I grow up. She's great. I really like her. She's wonderful. Yeah, I wish they asked you more too. They're precious. They are, I'm like, they've been together for a while too.
Starting point is 00:50:38 Yeah, I mean, they're just a power couple. Yeah, I couldn't do it. Is there anyone else besides Jimmy and Trevor that you wish you gave a shot to? Wow. That's the first time I've been asked that. You know, my number three was Ben. Yeah. And he was lovely.
Starting point is 00:50:53 He was amazing. Is that the guy who you said? Jude law. Jude law. Okay. You know, I think everything happened for a reason on my. end. So I don't think so. I think, yeah, I think I've seen what I needed to see. I hate asking this question, but do you have any regrets from this season? Because you,
Starting point is 00:51:12 I believe what you believe. Everything happens for a reason. It wouldn't have happened the way it was if you had regrets, but. Yeah. No, I really don't. My honest to God, my only regret is the Megan Fox thing. No! It is. You kidding me that made the whole show. Okay, your feelings are valid. Yeah. You're allowed to feel that. way I loved it and I think it made for like some really good like it some good content but it made it was a it gave you an opportunity to be able to show your confidence and leaning in and your personality by being able to poke fun at yourself through it and I love seeing that okay I love that too yeah but why the hell did I say MGK's wife or girlfriend what in the name it was like I was cringing even saying her name so I thought like beating around the bush would be better oh cute that's funny that's what you're beating around the bush that's like um i don't know have you ever heard um the hottest girl in the world yeah i look like me i'd be like um have you ever heard of blake lye roby yeah margot robby that's me i look like margot roby okay it's like
Starting point is 00:52:22 burnet i you know it's so silly because i didn't even think of that comment after i said it It was just something so goofy that it just came out that we all said. I'm like, man, y'all really send me up there. But you know, I'm making merch on it now. Yeah, exactly. I freaking love it. I love it. I like when people can spin zone something from a negative to a positive and then laugh your way to the bank.
Starting point is 00:52:43 Oh, for sure. For what you've gone through, you are allowed to do that. Before I play a game with you and let you go, I do want to know if there's anything that you want to get off your chest that we haven't talked about, that you're like, I just want people to know this or this is what I wish I could. could say, or did we cover everything? I think we really covered everything. I think just talking about, you know, who I am as a person and really showing my personality. And that's why I agree to do, you know, podcasts and interviews and stuff like that to really
Starting point is 00:53:12 show people that I'm not that person that was on the show. So it's just, I say this all the time. Everyone thinks of people on TV as one dimensional and because that's all they see. Right. And so it's nice that you get to kind of do the rounds and have your own platform now to be like, and this is also who I am. Yeah, yeah, and I love that. And I love using social.
Starting point is 00:53:30 It's just a magical world, though. Where could people follow you on social because you are funny to follow? Oh, you're funny. I try it really hard, though. I feel like you don't try really hard. I don't. It's cringe. But at Chelsea D. Blackwell and same for TikTok.
Starting point is 00:53:47 Amazing. Okay, just a really quick game of your first and your worst. Oh, gosh, okay. Your first and worst kiss. Oh, man. My first and worst kiss was a gay man. who was very gay at the time and I was about 12 years old
Starting point is 00:54:01 but it was the best kiss ever Oh it was the best It was your first and it was the best And he's gay Funny Yeah What about your worst kiss? Well it was worse
Starting point is 00:54:11 Because I actually liked him When he knew Hey that makes sense Yeah fair enough Okay What about your first and worst job I used to be a waitress at this crusty ass bar Same
Starting point is 00:54:21 Yeah Good time Drunken men My first job was like working out of Denny's setting tables but it was in Canada so it's called Smitties any place called Smitties
Starting point is 00:54:34 Smitties I love it It was definitely a Denny's So that's like Ardenny's? Yes That's so fine Oh no No it wasn't
Starting point is 00:54:41 It was my first And my worst job actually No my worst job was literally working At that bar Cowboys That I told you about the baby Because I Anytime you heard the song Kid Rock
Starting point is 00:54:49 Cowboy Neenny I had to get up on the bar And shake my ass You're lying So it's like a modern day Coyote Ugly. Yes, that's what it was. I love this for you, but I hate this for you. And if you stayed there for two years, you got fake boobies.
Starting point is 00:55:02 Shut. Where can I go? Where can I last? I made it six months and I got fired for getting drunk on the job. Shut. I love this story. Look at you now. They ended up paying you. Yeah, now they pay me to go there. Okay, first celebrity crush. Oh, man. Joseph Gordon Levitt. I loved him. Ten things I hate about you. I'm just, I'm still obsessed with him. and post Malone that's my boy I met him don't play with me right now
Starting point is 00:55:30 I did I met him at TMA Awards he was literally in front of me in the line to like go get our photo taken and I was like hey boasty and he was so kind I think we flirted okay so it's please for me
Starting point is 00:55:43 but I also if his girlfriend ever hears that she'd be like he's actually just really nice you little bit we did a high five and it lingered I have it I'll show you it lingered This is love, and I support this.
Starting point is 00:55:56 I'll just come hang out with you all the time. I literally thought it was my next relationship. I was like, we're dating now. And then I had a, he had a girlfriend and I was like, we're not dating, but. No, wait, does he still have a girlfriend? He's in love with me. I think and a kid. Yeah, he has a kid.
Starting point is 00:56:08 Fiancee and a kid, I think. Oh, my God. Respect, girl. I'm sorry. I know. I'm pulling the whole. It's a tough, tough conversation for me to have. I'm heartbroken.
Starting point is 00:56:17 Worst Celebrity Encounter. Have you had one yet? Oh, man. I had a bad one on a plane. No, not you on a plane. Not with me. Not with me. Not with me.
Starting point is 00:56:25 No, no. I witnessed, what's his name? Jared Leto was a complete asshole to a flight attendant. Oh, we don't do that. Um, honestly, no, every celebrity I've had on a plane has been so lovely. I just had Reba. You know? I about lost my shit.
Starting point is 00:56:44 Oh, yeah. He's coming to Nashville. It was amazing. Stop. Yeah. Trying to think of who else. I met Jerry Springer, God bless. Didn't he just die?
Starting point is 00:56:52 Did he? I always get him and Moripovic. Me too. I think Jerry Springer died. He was amazing. Oh, sad. Who was bad? It's great if there's not one that's bad.
Starting point is 00:57:03 Yeah, I don't have one. Great. No, I know. What was your first impression of Jimmy? Jimmy is not my type at all. So when I did see him, like, that's kind of where the freaking cringe-ass face comes in. I'm like, wait, I don't, I really don't remember that. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:57:18 Were you like? Our reveal? You don't remember our reveal? I remember, but I don't remember the face. Oh. good that's good what is usually your type typically historically usually I love me a good country boy oh yeah yeah yeah added up country boy tall dark handsome yeah like normal yeah whatever yeah I pictured him I didn't know what he looked like because I didn't know that's wild yeah I don't
Starting point is 00:57:43 know who Christian McCaffrey is okay so I get dragged in Charlotte because he used to be like a football player for us I don't know oh well um I don't know sports God bless yeah so I had no idea who Christian McCaffrey is. So I picture Jimmy this like country bunking like all bearded up like tall dark like you know whatever. So when I saw I am not like a blonde boy
Starting point is 00:58:06 is just not for you. Yeah. And that's fine. It could be persuade me. Am I? Yeah, yeah. If you're the right blonde. Yeah. So I was like shocked. That must be so that moment must be so nerve-wracking. It's nuts because you don't know when the doors are going to open. Oh. So you're just standing there for like 10 minutes and just don't know. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:58:28 that would make me nauseous. Want to throw up? Yeah, it makes me, I want to throw up for you guys just watching. So in that moment and waiting, I'd be like, near. And the one thing I always do on the podcast is a whole segment called, can you not? And so I just want to prepare people for if they ever meet you, what is like on a plane, at a bar, in a restaurant, what would be like a Kenyon, like if people were to come up to you because you know when you get in uncomfortable situations and you panic you say something stupid or at least I do yeah so when I meet celebrities like for example I met the Kardashians once and I started bowing down to them I also met Megan Fox's husband of MGK and I bowed down to him as well and then I go why do I do this why am I like this
Starting point is 00:59:12 job I love that about you though that's amazing I guess there could be worse things but if somebody is going to meet you what are you like can you not do this um I have two. Great. Can you not kiss me? Let's not do that. But can you not also ask me if Jimmy's single or not? Like that is so cringe and it's happened so many times.
Starting point is 00:59:32 I believe it. People panic and say dumb things. Yeah. They're like, can I slide into Jimmy's DMs? You're like, go for it. First of all, go for it. But like, you're asking the wrong person. I just read the room.
Starting point is 00:59:45 Yeah. I think that's so weird. And then I don't know what to say and I don't know what to do with my hands because I'm also very awkward. Yeah. So I'm like, sure? Okay, those are two very valid ones. Can you not kiss my face and ask if you can slide into my, yeah, okay, fair enough.
Starting point is 01:00:04 All right. Well, what's next for you? What do you think? I don't know. I'm open to a lot of things right now. Of course. Yeah. I mean, the doors are probably, a lot of doors are probably opening.
Starting point is 01:00:16 Yeah. And so that's exciting. What would be like your dream scenario job? I would love to, you know, right now flying is so crusty. I would love to leave flying. I'm going to stay for a while because it's, you know, it is my dream job, but it's just not where I want to be right now. I've been doing it for 10 years.
Starting point is 01:00:33 Yeah. I would love my event business to just pop off and me just like hang out with people and, you know, on their special days. I think that would be. Oh, good for you because it takes a special person to be an event planner. I could never. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:47 Oh, awesome. So it's intense. What is your, do you have like a business that you? already have. What's it called? Regan and Radiant. Yeah. Cute. So people can book you. Yeah. We'd spell that out for us for the people listening at home or watching. It's R-U-G-G-E-D and Radiant, R-A-D-I-A-N-T. Cute. And yeah, it's all events. So I do a lot of elopement and micro-wedding. So that's my main focus, but I do everything across the board. I love it. Well, thank you for being like so open. And I'm just rooting for you just as a human being and i just think you're awesome i think you're awesome thank you for having me
