Well, it's because we're sponsored by Shopify and they do everything they can to support the independent businesses on their platform. So we wanted to include them in this sponsorship. and I know because I'm an independent business owner myself, and guess what, do edit is supported
Starting point is 00:02:00 by Shopify. I know firsthand that Shopify truly is the all-on-one solution designed to start, grow, and scale your business all on your terms. And as we all know, I like to make the rules around here. Their mission is to make commerce better for everyone by supporting people who decide that they want to make their business dream a reality. Like little old me. Shopify does everything possible to support independent businesses and it is a true business partner offering 24-7 customer support. Just because your independent doesn't mean you're alone, as due edit grew, Shopify was right there with me. They power independent businesses of all sizes and will support you from the first sale to full scale. When you shop a company supported by Shopify, you're supporting independent
Starting point is 00:02:44 business owners like myself all over the world, and I think that's pretty cool. See all the way Shopify is supporting independence at shopify.com slash independence shopify supporting independence who's down with o tv who's down with o tvs podcast one presents off the vine with kately bristow caitland is creating a space where girls and gents can feel empowered to be themselves get ready for lots of laughs tabby topics on filtered advice and wine Get ready to shake things up. Here's Caitlin. All right, everyone.
Starting point is 00:03:25 We are here with a very special guest, the one and only Caitlin Bristow. Thank you for joining us. We were on your show last week, so thank you for having us on. It's been a little while since you've been on our show. We've moved offices. We've really upgraded. You really have. It's chic in here.
Starting point is 00:03:42 Yeah. It's really nice. Sheek is... Yeah, I'm generous. It was the first word that came to my mind. I was like, it's very chic. Say what you really think it is. No, we'll walk after we'll walk you around the other corner and you're like, look at our desks and shit.
Starting point is 00:03:55 You'll be like, okay, okay. Yeah, but I mean, this is a way nicer set up. The entrance I could say probably does look chic. And it's legit. Yeah, it is legit. There's a way. That's the way to describe it. It's legit.
Starting point is 00:04:04 There's a way more, I mean, the radio studio is like you could look inside of it. There's podcast studios. It's just way bigger in general. So what's going on. Thank you for coming. We're so excited. Thank you for having me. Of course.
Starting point is 00:04:15 Who won our bet, by the way. Oh. So I. You did. Yes. Okay, so I'll explain because if for those listening, if you didn't listen us on Caitlin's podcast, you should go do that first and then come back. But we made a bet about the women tell all. I believe we said we said an over under on women crying.
Starting point is 00:04:35 Yeah. I think we said it at five. Four, I think it was five. Five. And Caitlin and I took the under. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah took the over.
Starting point is 00:04:42 And this is what I'll say. We would have been winners. Yeah. if they did not include the Rachel Lindsay cyberbullying segment because that put it over the top. I was actually supposed to be doing that with Rachel, but I was in Buffalo. Oh, wow. Yeah, okay. But I'm really glad she did it on her own because she did a very good job.
Starting point is 00:05:04 But I feel like you would not have been able to be that serious. Like Rachel was so serious. And she had a tear that shed. And I was a beautiful one. It was. It was a really beautiful one single tier. Yeah. I wouldn't have done as good of a job as I just wouldn't but yeah no so I'd be funny all
Starting point is 00:05:22 the time so if I'm out there reading like the punk ass comments I'm like yeah yeah so then I guess we could talk about this like you want you won I counted it was about like seven total right I won because of the bullying right segment and although that I was no I was no I was no what I was going to say was although that was very sad thank you for doing that yeah because I won We owe you $50 each. Okay, send me your Venmo. Okay. I'll do it now or I'll also forget.
Starting point is 00:05:52 I actually don't have Venmo. You liar. You just said send me your Venmo. I know. That's how I was going to get out of $50. I was back to say this, that was your idea of Venmoing money. What is that about? Well, because I had a fraud, somebody like hacked into my.
Starting point is 00:06:08 That's okay. I don't really need the $50. Oh, I thought you were going to be like, I don't need your story. No, no, no. Save it. Yeah, save it, Caitlin. I just like to win in general. I don't need like a tangible prize.
Starting point is 00:06:20 Just the feeling of winning is good enough for me. That is so me. I went to an Oilers game the other night against the Predators and they won eight to three. And I was just so happy because everyone says Edmonton sucks all the time. And they beat the Predators and I was very happy. Yeah. Sometimes you just get competitive. I understand that.
Starting point is 00:06:34 I send you the Venmo. Very competitive. So I feel like you could at least expect the money for me. I'm going to send you the Zelle. I don't want to accept your money for you. Well, it's too late. I already sent it to you. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:44 No. No, you owe me money. Yeah, $50 could really get you out of a couple jams. Yeah, $50 is can go a long way. That's for sure. But there was that and then... Good dinner tonight. Not from Postmates. No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:06:58 What was the second one? We had a second bet. Yeah, we had two bets. And I can't remember the other one, which is maybe we were just a little... I do not remember either. We were just a little two tipsy at that point. There was one that was like, all I know is that it was winner, loser, buy, I remember it was if Chris Harrison was going to nail it home with Victoria and ask about
Starting point is 00:07:19 home wrecking and I said he wouldn't yeah he did and I want to get no he did no he did he did he was like okay right yeah but he asked and he was like and he was like okay thank you like I even just sitting here with you like he was so nice to her what are you guys talking about he was nice okay well he still asked yeah he did he did we knew he was gonna ask that's true okay fine hundred five that one just get you can you can win that one because that was like we owe you a drink and that's I owe you a drink Oh, yeah, you gave it to me right now, so that's cool. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:07:48 All right, Caitlin, let's talk about your life a little bit. And then we'll talk about Bachelorette and whatnot. First of all, right. Kind of on a serious, yeah. But we wanted to ask about your like home being okay, the tornadoes. Oh, my gosh, that was insane. It looked really quite scary. It was, first of all, we didn't realize how scary it was until the next day,
Starting point is 00:08:06 until we saw the damage and how bad it was. We were like, whoa, that's like just absolutely devastating. It was just unexpected. Like there was no, it wasn't like a storm warning. Yeah. It was out of nowhere. So we were at the Euler game. And then we went to this little, it's an actual trailer in Nashville that has karaoke.
Starting point is 00:08:25 And it's like always decorated in Christmas lights and everything. It was so much fun. And so we're there and we order pizza and I'm eating pizza and everyone's like, you got to get out of here. Like the music shut off and it was just like very abrupt. Like you got to go now. And so we left and we're like, this is weird. The sirens are going off. They're like, they're tornado warnings.
Starting point is 00:08:45 And I was like, I've been through this so many times. This is not serious. And so Jason and I went home to the dogs. Yeah, yeah. Whatever. So, and then I'm reading all these updates on Twitter. And I usually follow this account that tells me like, oh, yeah, it's, you know, no tornado has touched down or whatever.
Starting point is 00:09:01 This one was like, take cover, find shelter. This is not a drill. Like, this is happening. And so we went and, like, sat in the bathtub because I don't know if that was. Is that what you do? No, I always heard the basement, but although we don't, we live in New York, so we've never really had to seriously deal with it. There's no basements in Tennessee either. Like no, no one has a basement even in our houses. Right. Bathroom is where you're supposed to go. And there's no windows in the bathroom. So we went there and I felt sleep in the tub. And then I thought, we thought it was done. And we went upstairs, went to bed. And at like 3.30 in the morning, I'm still checking. And then it was at that point hitting, we're at an Airbnb right now because we're redoing the floors. And at that point, it was hitting our neighborhood. Yeah. And so I'm up not even falling asleep because I'm like, is my house. okay i don't know um our house is all okay some houses down the street or not yeah um it's awful
Starting point is 00:09:48 people lost their lives and businesses and it was just the damage was it was crazy yeah i couldn't believe it yeah yeah it really was like when you see those videos of like the next day i was looking at all the all the videos of like the people that actually captured the tornadoes they were huge and people don't think that happens in big cities yeah but it it does and that's happened to before and I think for people like I'm from New York France from New Jersey like you hear about tornadoes and you really don't think it's like a real thing I know it's something you see in movies right you just hear about it but it actually is so praying for everybody yes there's so many places you can donate to and it's actually on the link in my bio right now
Starting point is 00:10:31 on Instagram places you can donate and everyone's coming together and doing some really nice things for the community so I mean that's what's good yeah because that's the One we wanted to ask obviously about that. Yeah. Hey, do you own or rent your own home? I'm sure you do. And I bet it can be hard work. You know what's easy is bundling policies with GEICO.
Starting point is 00:10:53 GEICO makes it easy to bundle your homeowners and renter's insurance along with your auto policy. And it's a good thing too because you already have so much to do around your home. Go to GEICO.com, get a quote, and see how much you could save. It's GEICO easy. Visit guyco.com today. that's guycoe.com. So let's get into some fun stuff. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:15 What's going on with you and Jason? Okay. So last time we've told the story before that me and Fran think we kind of had something to do with your relationship. The first time Jason came on, we talked to him about you. And then when you came on, we talked to about Jason. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:28 We just keep winning and winning and winning. When we left doing your podcast, our, you know, the publicist who works here for Barstle was like, I love Caitlin and Jason. We were like, we did that kind of. You're welcome. What? And we were like, we explained the whole thing. We love telling this story.
Starting point is 00:11:43 Yeah. It's amazing. They probably never even talked about us, like when they first started talking. Fine. I wanted that ownership. We did. Yeah. No, we did.
Starting point is 00:11:49 Okay. Even if you're lying to me right now, I'll accept it. But what's going on? How's life? You guys live together now. You got two great pups. Yeah. We're obsessed.
Starting point is 00:12:00 Doing some renovations at the house. I'm getting ready to go. I felt like such a boss today because I put a tour bus on my credit card. Wow. I was like, am I allowed to ask. my friend Bailey. I was like, am I allowed to say that or is that really cocky? No. You can say it because I'm so proud of it. I'm so proud. I got a tour bus and I'm going on tour for the podcast. So Jason will probably come for a little bit of it. He has his own things going on too. So yeah, we're just,
Starting point is 00:12:25 we're living and having a really great tour bus for the pod for a podcast tour is so fun. It's pretty gangster. Yeah. I was going to say that I was going to say that I'll get over it in like a week though. I'll be on and be like, get me off of this bus. But yeah. Yeah, it's awesome. Yeah, it'll be fun. I want to say, like, I don't want to get too cocky, but if we ever do a podcast store, we should put in that there needs to be a tour bus. Yeah, that should absolutely be part of it. You just, yeah, find some people to sponsor it.
Starting point is 00:12:47 Yeah. Get it all wrap. How do you, do you love doing the live shows? I do. It's really fun. I like, we're very nervous about it. Why? We've been approached about it a couple times, and every time we're like,
Starting point is 00:12:58 I don't know. I don't know. I'm nervous about it. I think I, I, I really don't know. Talk to me. Yeah, I guess I'm, yes. Yes. I am 100% afraid of failure.
Starting point is 00:13:08 I think we both, we both looked at each other. We're like, what if nobody comes? They would. Everybody would have them. I also, like, I love entertaining people. So I don't know why I have this fear because I would love to be in front of random people and act like a comedian. Me too. That's something that's great.
Starting point is 00:13:22 Oh, I like think it's my moment up there. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. But there's something. So I can like do that in front of strangers, right? But when people I know are there, that's when I get nervous. So it's like if I can make a deal that nobody I know will constantly. to those shows just don't just say doing a live show friends and family you're not invited i get nervous
Starting point is 00:13:43 around my friends and family strangers i'm like i'll never see these people again probably i say really inappropriate things on the live shows because i edit some stuff out but i am get i get really inappropriate and my mom came to a show and that's fine because she's pretty inappropriate to you but like thinking about my dad coming to show or some people that i know like i i say some weird stuff yeah yeah it's but you guys would do so well i'm not worried about like my parents will they don't care what I say. They don't care at all. You just get nervous. I get nervous. Yeah, just because I'm like, oh, they know me
Starting point is 00:14:12 personally, so, like, they'll have more judgment towards me rather than, like, I don't really care what these people. That's what I'm saying. I'm, like, I'm, like, the total opposite. Like, I'm like, I'm going to invite all my friends and families that I know that people will be in the audience. Yeah. You got everybody would come. Every single person
Starting point is 00:14:28 that I have met in my own life. We do get people all the time being like, we really want you to do live shows. So it's something we're thinking about for sure. We're definitely thinking about it. are idiots if you don't. Would you come be on our live show? Of course I would. Yeah. See, we'll hold you to do that. We'll hold you to that. Because I feel like that's a really kind of how you got it to it or a fun way to do it because people
Starting point is 00:14:48 who do the pocket. Like you do it too. You have guests and friends and yeah. You guys are lucky though because you have each other to banter with. That is true. You do have to like if I go by myself, I need to book a guest. Yeah. And I would like to take credit right now and right here for Blake Horsman being a DJ all of a sudden. Right. He's a he booked with a DJ. gig like he's like signed with like a DJ people yeah just from doing your shows yeah
Starting point is 00:15:14 he I mean I'll got the bug he really did and he's good at entertaining the crowd and he really gets into it but his transitions need some work okay yeah okay yeah well now he's gonna get the reps in he's gonna be like touring I'm serious I'm like I need to like you know I did that I created that monster wow that is so funny any other things in the pipeline New Spade and Sparrows coming out with the tour. When will we get some?
Starting point is 00:15:41 As soon as it comes out, I will send a pace your way. It's delicious. And what else? Scrunchies, all the, same stuff, same, same. But yeah, Jason and I are just, we're really thinking about moving to a new house. I thought you loved your house. I love my house, but I started doing some shopping around Nashville, and there's some really, really nice houses that I think. And I think I want to make my house into, like,
Starting point is 00:16:06 like a bachelorette party Airbnb. Right. Like have people that come to Nashville and they know my house because they see it on Instagram and they'll have like the Off the Vine room and then we'll make one room like the other thing. You trust strangers? No. But I like money. Okay, okay. So fair.
Starting point is 00:16:23 I was going to say like, holy shit, you trust a bunch of like 20 girls who live in your house. They have to sign so many things. They have to pay if they f*** something up. Yeah, exactly. More money. Just lock. If you want to get drunk and up the house, go ahead. Knock down.
Starting point is 00:16:36 a wall see if I care I'll get $20,000 for that. Thank you very much. Yeah. That's actually a great idea honestly. I am, my sister is getting married so we're going to her bachelor party in Vegas and we booked an Airbnb that was literally right off the strip and I just feel like that's the way to go
Starting point is 00:16:53 with bachelor bachelor bachelor party's. It'll be so fun. Do you have any Vegas tips for us? Oh boy. I've never been. Oh boy. She's been but not like a child. Oh yeah. So like we're really going like the first time ever came around the casino. casinos that's a kid yeah my gosh okay and we have like three days jam packed morning tonight oh yeah okay
Starting point is 00:17:13 oh my gosh Vegas tips you should have prepared me I could have come off the whole list for you go to Vegas every year too so they've given me so you like gambling love gambling oh you do I'm her not so much my family huge gamblers really yes okay I love some blackjack so um I don't have any tips about it I just love black jack it's fun to play I just really enjoy it uh okay Vegas tips so Bailey I feel like you might have a couple of good ones um bailey if you have any just shout them out have you get a wax oh that's a good one that is a good one because that actually is a good one that's also just like what you should do anyway yeah i also think like yeah because you're in bikinis the whole weekend
Starting point is 00:17:52 yeah and i just remember because the first time i ever went to bagas i was 21 and i got my first Brazilian wax and this russian lady was waxing me and she was like so aggressive yeah and i was like okay i don't think i could take anymore and she goes no no you you will regret. And like, it was so aggressive. And then I went to text my girlfriend. And for some reason, I typed her number in because I just knew it. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:18:17 This was a long time ago. And I typed it in. And I put, just got a Brazilian wax and I'm heading to Vegas. And I typed the wrong number. And some woman responded and said, I'm not sure what that is, but have a good time. And then she came back and said, oh, just Googled it. I think you will have a good time. I was like, oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:18:34 So that's why waxen comes to mine in Vegas. All right. Let's take a break. As I've gotten older and maybe a little bit wiser, I've realized even more now how important it is to enjoy life full on 100%. 2020 brought us a brand new decade and now is the time to become our very best selves and enjoy every single moment, no matter what craziness is going on around us. By now's create moments of unapologetic enjoyment with me. Celebrate out loud, even if people give you weird looks. Trust me, been there. Dance, sing, even if you're the only one, I've been there too. Ask Jason. Pepsi encourages everyone to do what they enjoy even in the face of others' judgment. Sometimes when I'm walking Pino and Ramen, I'll realize
Starting point is 00:19:15 I'm having a full-on, one-sided conversation with them, and I'll only realize it when somebody walks by me staring. But you know what? My Goldens bring me happiness, and existing with them in their happy world is where I like to be sometimes all the time. Pepsi supports living a fearless, confident, unapologetic life, and one of my life mottos has always been, I'd rather be hated for who I am then loved for who I'm not at Pepsi they believe the most enjoyable life is one free from constraints and that my dudes is something to celebrate Pepsi that's what I like do you have a that is so funny that's um if you're hung over get an IV drip we just okay yes oh let me do that changing I'm on that already trust me my sister was like that's like the number one thing that's a
Starting point is 00:19:57 good tip yeah okay IVs okay okay what else um because I feel like the IV is a good shortcut because I've realized now once I was starting to get really bad hangovers like debilitating hangovers and now like right if I'm out like right before I go to bed I do like a liquid IV
Starting point is 00:20:17 or something of that sort in a full water bottle chug it go to bed and I wake up feeling great and it's really been actually helping a lot for me and this is not an ad I was like if I was like a tip paying you off to the side because I didn't know we had a liquid IV
Starting point is 00:20:33 No, they're all kind of interchangeable sometimes, but like, like, Pedialite, they have the packet ones, like I do that or whatever I have handy. I don't remember to do that. Last night, I should have done that. I know. If you forget, then you're screwed. You said something happened last night. Let's talk about it. You were f***ed up.
Starting point is 00:20:50 I was so f*** up. I seriously started. Well, I saw the Instagram store of you dancing in a bar that seemed like not a bar that people dance at. Or a restaurant. It was definitely just me dancing, and I was doing my old cheerleader routines for everybody. and nobody cared um but okay feel that so last night what do we do for oh we went to the knicks game
Starting point is 00:21:09 um i don't even know who they were playing i definitely was not paying attention i was we had like a nice somebody invited us to their suite so we're like food no yeah when you get when you're going to a nick's game and you're in a suite like yeah i just was like there was a candy bar so anyways had some tequila uh went out after and so bailey's on raya okay which is for
Starting point is 00:21:33 anybody who doesn't know the dating app but you have to be like somebody Bailey is also Kaylin's friend let's just for all those listening and everyone's like just to go off the street they're like who is this Bailey they keep speaking up right
Starting point is 00:21:47 I guess we should acknowledge Bailey Bailey's my girlfriend here with me and so she's swiping and who shows up Nick Viles is in the vicinity is that the word yeah the vicinity
Starting point is 00:22:01 and I was like he's in the radio of your I was like shut up so we sent him a video of her swiping and seeing him and he was like what are you? He was right there and so we had a drink with him and it was just so it was just what are the chances he doesn't live here yeah he was on that on your dating app you swiped and saw him and he was there like we're like oh hey have a drink that's hilarious I also have to ask now because obviously you're cool with Nick yeah and Jason's cool with Nick totally were you nervous the first time that Jason and Nick were meeting?
Starting point is 00:22:34 No, because they were friends before I even met Jason. Right, right. Like, I remember seeing pictures of Jason and Nick in Vegas. Yeah. And I was like, oh, they're friends. Okay. But yeah, so now it's funny because we're just all, we're all three friends now. Yeah. Yeah. We chat and hang out. We were at podcast awards for IHeart podcast awards. And
Starting point is 00:22:52 the three of us sat together. Like, it's, it's just, you know, the bachelor world is so insensual anyways. Like, is that a word? Incessual. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Why do I keep looking at you? You're like me that you have. to make sure everything's a word. Yeah. Every time I say something, I'm like, whatever, if that's the word. Yeah, because it sounds like I make it up sometimes, and sometimes I do make up words.
Starting point is 00:23:10 Incestual. What? Incessual. Yeah, because incest. Yeah. Chual. Good job, guys. Incest, when somebody hooks up with somebody in their family.
Starting point is 00:23:23 Yeah, and the bachelor family is a family, and it gets weird. And if I really started, you know, I've hooked up with it. Getting around the block. That's the world I live in. But it's the same thing. Like, I'm pretty sure Jason's probably hooked up or made out with Bachelor Girls before he met me. Like, it's just, it's just a thing. It is what it is.
Starting point is 00:23:39 And, you know, it's been five years now. So. Right. I was going to say, I feel like it's been a long enough amount of time. And maybe if you were in a different place in your life, it would be different. But I feel like you're in such a good place and Jason and happy. Totally. And it's like, we can all be friends.
Starting point is 00:23:56 Exactly. It's just, it's nice, I think, for Nick, too, because he's like, finally, okay? It's not weird anymore. We can finally just be. friends yeah we'll be back with more off the vine with kaitland bristow survivor season 40 is here with 20 past champions returning for winners at war survivor fans know that this is the best survivor season in years and we're breaking it all down after each episode on rob has a podcast i'm two-time survivor rob cisternino host of robs a podcast and we've got recaps interviews with your favorite former players

Starting point is 00:24:48 I love how you guys say, Marry. No, how do you say it? Say it. Marriage. Marriage. Marriage. Well, hers is a little bit of like, marriage. Marriage.
Starting point is 00:24:58 Marriage. marriage she says marriage i say marriage marriage yeah um anyways because you say you're trying to like you say away for this conversation how would how would you say because it's marry mary no because you're saying like the name mary i say mary though too yeah no it's it's it's mary is the name yeah marry oh would be like marrying somebody so i so i'm saying it wrong like i if i was to say if i was to say noah's getting married i would say married yeah And not married. I can't even do it the other way.
Starting point is 00:25:31 I'm like, I don't know. Listen. I think it goes both ways. I think it goes both ways, but I do see that that's Mary. See, M-E-R-R-Y is Mary. That one is for sure, Mary. Because it's all spelled differently.
Starting point is 00:25:46 So, Mary would be M-E-R-R-Y. And now we have the talk point coming to. Let me explain. Mary, the name M-A-R-Y, and then marry, as in you know when two people interdwine M-A-R-R-Y what a great description of marriage how do you describe marriage when two people intertwine
Starting point is 00:26:07 I don't want to say when two people get married because then you wouldn't understand what I was saying When people intertwine forever They're all spelled differently so they're all pronounced differently Okay in my opinion Anyways anyways what about the Mary situation I mean it's so funny because we always obviously talk about it
Starting point is 00:26:23 One because we're just at that stage in our life I'm 34 not getting any younger We live in a house together We have dogs We're like You know We're at that phase Where we're obviously talking about it
Starting point is 00:26:35 Yeah And the other day What happened? Oh I was in Buffalo I think I like turned him on Being in Buffalo and like I ate chicken wings for him And I don't eat meat Well yeah I saw
Starting point is 00:26:45 Well he looked so happy Taking you all these places Like how do you say no And his grandpa approved And like I think he was just feeling like really And so when he left Like that Like you take
Starting point is 00:26:55 when a boy takes you to their hometown and you hang you hang you get along with all the friends the family they're like oh man I love you totally and that's what happened and so he what did he say to me he was like well I'm gonna miss you I'm like I'm gonna see you tomorrow or day after tomorrow yeah he's like I don't know just and he goes he was saying all the stuff and I was trying to sleep and then I wake up and he's like well I looked at rings and I was like you did I'll send me his great shot and then I'm sending him then I'm looking up all the good ones you know and sending him so definitely we talk about it it will probably happen. I mean, I have no pressure from me. I, I've never been the type to like dream
Starting point is 00:27:33 about my wedding. Right. I've just never been like that. And to me, I'm like, well, I just want, I want it small. I would want my family and friends and like, that's it. That's usually who comes to wedding. But like really close family, really close friends. Very small. And Jason wants like a huge party. But I just don't, I think about having kids more than I think about getting married. Yeah. Yeah. Well, as soon as he starts sending you that he's looking for rings, then it's fair game for you to be sending him rings all the time. Not all the time, but like you should be able to send. Yeah, he
Starting point is 00:28:01 he's the one who opened it. He also got so drunk on one of my live shows and said he was like a total like proposed drunk on a live show. I would die. I would be like no. Not here. Not now. But he was like so drunk and was talking about his BMW and he's like, I'm going to get her a ring.
Starting point is 00:28:22 That's, it'll be the biggest purchase of 2020. It'll cost more than my BNW and I was like, wow, settle flex, okay. And now we have to do it. And yeah, well, that's so the next day I'm like, oh, remember what you said? Yeah, what exactly was the price tag on that PMW? Exactly, because I know you're negotiating skills. That is, that is so funny.
Starting point is 00:28:40 And because, you know, people have different, like, I love that you guys are kind of just doing it when it'll happen when it's happened. Like, we had, um, we had Kevin and Asherd here before they got engaged. And it was so, oh, it was so funny. Like, we were like, so, guys, like, what's going on? And Kevin was like, no, I have a strict, like, I have to propose before she turns 30. And we were laughing. And she was like, it's not a hard thing. She just said, I would like to be engaged before I'm 30.
Starting point is 00:29:05 And I'm like, that's super fair. And it's exactly what happened. He proposed before her birth, like before the birthday. And it's just, you know, different strokes for different folks, as they say. Yeah. It's also easier to talk about it alone. You know what I mean? Like when Kevin and Asher together, it's like, okay, Jason's not here.
Starting point is 00:29:23 It's, we can ask you what? we want. And that's always the next question, right, when you come off Bachelor World, because that's what we watch for on those shows. Everyone always, people get engaged at the end. So it's always such a natural question for people to ask us that we're like, yeah, like, it's kind of made us think about it a little more because we're like, oh, I guess we should do that. Right, right, right. Meanwhile, you've only really been dating for what, a year and a half. A year and a half. So in real life. Right. But again, I'm 34. And if I'm with someone, want to know that you know we know it's yeah you're living together when you know you know as they
Starting point is 00:30:00 say yeah i'm really full of cliches today that's okay i just drop different strokes for different folks i like that i like that um saying different strokes for different folks yeah yeah yeah that's it's saying around here i think guys nailed it way to go fran yeah all right spring is nearly here which means it's time to bring my legs out of hibernation i've so many cute dresses and rompers i can't wait to bust out. And of course, the classic jean shorts can't come out soon enough. However, the warmer weather and cute fits means that all inevitably need to start shaving more often. And that's why I'm so happy I discovered persona razors. They're literally the only razor that leaves me with smooth skin after every shave. I've been using persona women's five blade razor. And trust me, this thing works.
Starting point is 00:30:46 I've been using it in, you know, all the places. And there are no razor bumps, no cuts. The blades contour perfectly to any area on my body. And guys, this thing is infused with botanical oils, so my skin is super smooth. But no surprise that persona razors work so well because they've been in the razor game for almost 145 years. So they know a thing or two. You've got to try persona razors for yourself to see what I'm talking about. They're super affordable, high quality, and offer products for men and women.
Starting point is 00:31:15 Right now, Vinos can get an extra 25% off their first order, but only when you go to Amazon.com slash persuasion. Sona and use my discount code Vine Show. That's Amazon.com slash P-E-R-S-O-N-A and use code Vine Show for 25% off your first order. You're not going to want to miss out on this deal. I'm telling you these things work wonders. All right. So let's talk about this season of The Bachelor.
Starting point is 00:31:40 Well, first, yeah, Bachelorette, Claire. What do you think? Oh, yeah. Because we took so many guesses and we were wrong, all of us. Did we guess Claire at all? No. She didn't come to the. I don't even know who Claire is.
Starting point is 00:31:50 Rumors didn't start until after we recorded. Like, I saw, I saw, like, Ashley I and, like, some people being, like, throwing Claire's name in the mix. And I was, like, what, this is at a left field. Yeah, I feel like she is, like, a Disney princess with an edge. Like, that's a great description of her. Yeah, like, she, does you know, I mean, I'm sure you know her, kind of? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:12 Yeah, like, we chat. Yeah, yeah. Ria's never watched. I don't even know who she is. Like, Ria was like, I have no idea who that is. So does that make you the first season I ever watched of. anything. Really? Yeah. Oh, I didn't know that. Maybe, you probably told me that. I probably told you that. You didn't
Starting point is 00:32:24 care that much. It didn't mean much to you, but that's okay. No, I was, I was just probably drunk. But I just, yeah, she's, she's like, I just want to find my person, but she's also like, but I'll send you the fucking home. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I just think she's, it's going to be so nice to have, um, and nothing against your guys' age. I'm not age shaming. Oh, that's fine. I'm in shaming my own age. I don't want to get married right now, so that's fine. I don't want to watch another 25-year-old.
Starting point is 00:32:50 not know what they're doing i don't know what i'm doing right which is kind of relatable but it's yeah i just think we they're going to take it back to you know we want a love story out of it and enough with the stupid catty like immature shit so i'm excited for it i think she has i think she's well spoken i think she's cheesy in the most perfect way for the show um and i just love that she's an older woman who knows what you want yeah yeah i'm into it i think because in the past few seasons now we look back first of all peter season it's not over yet but we No, it's a shit sh** disaster. Colton season, although Colton and Cassie are together, that really was kind of a mess.
Starting point is 00:33:27 They didn't get engaged. You know, they don't have to get engaged, but that was a disaster. Hannaby. Hannaby also a disaster. Becca's worked out because her and Garrett are together. Ari worked out in the end after the whole thing. Right. So it's been three seasons since we've actually had because, you know, I think, what was it,
Starting point is 00:33:47 Becca or Ari was the one? went so like if you count peter peter han and b colin so yeah three like r and arre's that's what i'm saying they picked an older guy somebody kind of who nobody really was talking about yeah and there was the drama obviously but at the end of the day he still got married and like as a baby so i know i'm so surprised they pick claire though not because she doesn't deserve it but just to me she's such a random pick right she was so long ago with a random pick like they if they had picked tia i feel like people would have been like, that's a random pick. Right.
Starting point is 00:34:18 Like, this is extra random. Does it make you not want to watch? Because you don't know who she is. No, no. It makes me want to watch more. Oh, perfect. Way more. Okay.
Starting point is 00:34:25 Because I feel like everybody I've watched now become the bachelor or bachelor. I've seen on past seasons and I, like, judge them from what I saw on that season. Like Hannaby, for example, I didn't love her on Colton season. So when she was announced as the bachelor's, I feel like I unfairly judged her. And I was like, I'm not excited for this. Meanwhile, she turned out to be an awesome bachelor. Like she's the best. I'm such a huge fan of her now. So I feel like not knowing anything about Claire. And I feel like a lot of people are in the same boat as me. I mean, there are people in the same boat as you guys who knows who she is. There's also people like me who started watching after who know nothing about her. And I feel like that's great. Because I'll just judge her based on what I see from this season. And I'm already excited about her from what I'm hearing. You know what I mean? She's older. She's seriously looking for marriage and to be loved. I played the video for her like shutting down Juan Pablo. Oh, yeah, yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:16 I'm all in on that Yeah that was I remember that that was great And then her talking to the raccoons on Paradise So I know I was like she was really the first person That they did that too Because I thought I started watching Paradise
Starting point is 00:35:29 From the beginning I didn't I started watching season three Yeah no She was on the first one I think And she was on the first two But she also wasn't really on for that long Like when they announced I went back and looked
Starting point is 00:35:42 Because I was like how Because Paradise didn't work out for her love wise she actually like left both seasons pretty early on yeah so and then she's got a golden i know she's so i mean i i think she is great and then i i i watched winter games yeah i feel like not a lot of people watched winter games but she like got straight up engaged at the end of that that didn't work but i knew that was not going to work yeah yeah yeah what do you guys think about the people who are saying like she's had her time she's tried multiple times and it clearly hasn't worked out what do you guys think about that well that's stupid because
Starting point is 00:36:15 we've all had relationships that have failed and not worked out. Like, who's to say that doesn't mean the next one's not going to work? Right, right, right. And hers are just on TV. And she has full control of this one. We're also watching a bunch of relationships
Starting point is 00:36:28 not work and have people like, you know, like, who cares if she's had her time? Like, good for her. Yeah. I think it's just kind of easy to like laugh at and make fun of, right? Because like everybody makes fun of Chris Bukowski for going on the show a billion times. Right. He had a walker. Yeah, exactly. And like Paradise, they made fun of it.
Starting point is 00:36:45 like a funny way um but i i and it's also so different because i'm like this is the first time that she gets to be in control like that's a whole different dynamic yes there's difference between on the bachelor than being in bachelor and paradise where like it's her turn to pick everybody yeah and like now it's her turn to like get all the guys and see and i'm excited for older men on the show me too i'm not a big dillard person, like, you know, when people are like, I love dad. Oh, our 30s. We heard some rumors. No, no, no. We heard some
Starting point is 00:37:21 rumors that, like, there's a lot of father's cast. But, yeah, the father thing has been a big thing, big rumors that there was already three or two contestants that had two kids. I also love a good divorced man. There you go. Like, they are so, they know exactly what they want.
Starting point is 00:37:37 They have learned from their mistake. But what if they're the ones that really, yeah. Like, what if they like, I don't love a good. divorce man what if they cheated on their wife multiple no yeah you love an actual good divorce yeah yes one that's like learned his lesson and like has a good story to tell on the show like that's what I'm thinking or me yeah yeah yeah his wife him over and he's actually
Starting point is 00:38:01 a really good guy yeah that's a good divorce man yeah that's a good divorce man yeah that's an attractive divorce man yeah that's a really weird thing for me to say love a good divorce man what I really me a laugh i was like what okay okay sure and you'd think i'd have a lot to back it up with like there's nothing not really a lot no you haven't been with any many divorce men never ever once you've actually never even seen them on the show no have there been any divorce men on the show i don't even think just trying to do a thing yeah yeah yeah trying to do a bit here leave me right no but that's actually i feel like they're really has there ever been a divorce
Starting point is 00:38:45 contestant yeah then then they're doing they're doing the show for um the girls have been divorced yeah yeah yeah yeah whoa i don't remember that yeah interesting um but they're doing the new real young and realized i don't remember this yeah all right everybody we obviously know that wedding planning is such an exciting and fun time but everyone knows also that a lot of the process can be stressful and overwhelming including registering for your wedding but no worries vinos because i'm here to tell you that it doesn't have to be when you register at crate and barrel. Crate and barrel has an expertly curated assortment,
Starting point is 00:39:20 meaning you don't have to search and sort through tons and tons of items. They've selected the best of the best, the best to make choosing the perfect items for your home simple and easy. It can be super overwhelming to scroll endlessly to try and find the best items. And if you don't go through the mall, you might be thinking, wait, what did I miss? The curated assortment from crate and barrel
Starting point is 00:39:40 makes it so much easier on you to feel confident that you're getting all the best items. No regrets, people. Their modern design with a classic twist also means you don't have to worry about your items going out of style in a year or two. That's always a worry of mine when I get something new. I do this all the time with my house. I'm like, but how long is this going to be in style for? I love that you don't have to worry about that at Crate and Barrel because so much of their collection is just timeless.
Starting point is 00:40:05 Plus, Crate and Barrel makes the registering experience so much fun with a private party just for engaged couples. So they host private registry events each month. in all of their stores with the stores closed to host you and your fiancé. I think that's pretty cool. I also love that crate and barrel offers group gifting. This is my jam right here. So friends and family can chip in to purchase a larger item that you love. That way you don't have to feel bad throwing that one big item you really want on your registry.
Starting point is 00:40:33 You just have your friends go all in on it together. I've actually done this before for one of my friends' weddings. We got a group together to purchase the biggest item on her registry because we knew it was something, obviously, that she really, really wanted. So it was honestly ideal for us to be able to go in on it together versus just going separately and smaller gifts. So some of their top registered for products include Mirren White Dinnerwear, Organic Wash Sheets and Duve,
Starting point is 00:40:58 which the more you wash it, the softer gets, yes, please. And so much more. I think the monogram beer glasses are so fun to get for couples because then every time they're having a cold one, they're thinking, hey, remember when KB got this for us? And thinking back on all of our memories together, They're personalized, which I love anything that's unique and personalized in my home. The fact that their dishwasher safe is such a bonus, too, because who really wants to worry
Starting point is 00:41:22 about delicately handwashing glasses? Not I, people, not I. Create your crate and barrel registry, crate and barrel.com or at a store near you. They're doing the seniors show, so maybe they're like going to take a couple dilfs from Clara's season and pop them in the elderly one. How are they doing another show? they've got the listen to your heart coming out which I don't know if you saw the preview
Starting point is 00:41:45 but I'm on it we saw we will be watching yeah it looks so good it looks so good and we do our recaps with Trent every every week and we were saying last week like oh man like after the finale yesterday like you're not yet I know but this is going to
Starting point is 00:42:03 come out on Monday I was like good point sorry I'm thinking now not the future yes and so we were saying like oh Trent like we won't be able to do this with you for a while because you know, Bachelorette doesn't start until May. Then we're like, whoa, we can recap, listen to your heart, and then Bachelorette. I know.
Starting point is 00:42:18 And then summer games and then Paradise. Like, there's probably not a break for the next six months. It gives us so much content to work with, you know? Like, I do the recaps on my grape therapies. And I'm like, perfect. Good, another show for me to recap. It's great. I'm actually very happy because then we would also, like, on Thursday's podcast, we'd be like,
Starting point is 00:42:36 okay, what's going in this one? And we usually put the Bachelor recap, and now we have all these shows to fill it. if he'll be the luggage guy for the senior edition. I hope he's the luggage guy forever. He has to be the luggage guy forever. They need to fly him to paradise. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:52 I feel like that's a possibility. Of course it could be. They will. Totally could be. Did you see him on the end? Of course he did. With the champagne day, he was so happy.
Starting point is 00:43:02 It was really cute. Honestly, the best moment in TV history. What's one of the weirdest rules you think that is on the first? on the bachelor yeah on the bachelor um one of the weirdest rules probably oh there's so many weird ones i mean a funny thing that i always think about is everyone's always like why is nobody in the pool at the mansion but it's true they crank the crank the crank what do not the heat
Starting point is 00:43:33 i know what you're saying they make it so cold decrank they decrank the heat that's not a word But it is now. It is now. And so then you don't take off your mic and go in because then you could talk and not be miced. Because they have someone behind the scenes typing everything you're saying on the show. Yeah. Like the old ladies in the courtroom? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:57 Wait, really? Yeah. Every single person? It makes sense if you think about it because then they, you know, they have to. That makes sense on why the closed captions, like, if you watched with like the captions on and they say stupid shit, like you're like, oh, that's. That's exactly what they said. This season when the girls were, like, messing up words. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:14 And like, like, their captions were spelled out exactly as they said it. And you're like, why would they? That even had a dash. Like, Panasco, you had like a dash, like a thin, I don't know. It was so funny. Lingerie was like spelled out like that too. So funny. That makes sense because Love Island when they go in the pool and they take off their
Starting point is 00:44:33 mic and they go in because you can't, I guess you can't hear them. Yeah. Yeah. Also, another weird one is probably just that, like, you literally can't. cannot spend time with the Bachelor of the Bachelorette unless it's on camera and miced and for a scene. Like as soon as it's like this hot tub scene's done, you can't hang out with them. Yeah. Like it's like Caitlin comes with me.
Starting point is 00:44:51 You go over there. Like you really cannot spend time with them. There's no like small talk when they take your mics off. No. All right. So I, okay. So I'm sure there are conversations that are film that we don't see, right? Because I was thinking that you guys were having conversations off air and shit.
Starting point is 00:45:08 But there's, there's conversations. that are on air, they just don't get actually aired. Yeah. You are miced from like the second you wake up till the second you go to sleep and they like make sure you're not talking like in bed. It's crazy. That is insane. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:24 All right. So Mr. Chris Harrison was telling me about this crazy party Hulu through in Beverly Hills with all the biggest reality TV stars from like every show. And now I have to watch the commercials to see what happened like everyone else. I don't usually get FOMO. But in this case, I have experienced. stream fomo here. Luckily for you, Hulu has the reality TV that you love. So start your free trial
Starting point is 00:45:46 today at Hulu.com. Okay, Caitlin, I don't want to keep you anymore because I feel like we are way behind schedule. I know like, can you, yeah, it's been like an hour. We're good. Okay, because I know you got, you have plans and whatnot, but thank you so much for coming. I don't want to be done. I know. I don't have to. I was so excited for you to come because we were with you last week. I'm like, Oh, my God, we're seeing Caitlin so much. I literally, well, first of all, okay, I have to tell you guys this. Okay. I am like the biggest Dermit Kennedy fan.
Starting point is 00:46:17 Yes. And I came here because I was like, well, first of all, I said that I would come back and do this. And then I was like, Dermitt's there. Okay, Bailey's been trying to get me to come. And I'm like, okay, I'm just going to do it. And we get to meet him tonight. Yeah. I don't even know who he is.
Starting point is 00:46:33 I just have no. Do you know who Dermit Kennedy is? not describe you No, Dermick Kennedy At all I couldn't tell you His hair color I couldn't tell you
Starting point is 00:46:44 Anything about him It was actually very funny Our CEO Erica came out Came out She is notorious For like Making plans
Starting point is 00:46:53 And then wanting to cancel Them So she comes out And she's like Anybody want tickets to Dermick Kennedy Anybody Like she's like
Starting point is 00:47:00 She bought them for her husband's birthday And she's like I don't want to go anymore She bought them for her husband For his birthday And she's like I don't feel like going
Starting point is 00:47:09 So we have one guy, Keith, who likes Dermott Kennedy is a fan, so he was like, I'll take him, so now he's, now he's going. You guys, I'm, I always force people to like him. Yeah. But if you listen to some of his music,
Starting point is 00:47:23 you'll be upset. I think I have a feeling I would really like. It's like, genre. He's like a singer, songwriter. It's like a little combination of, do you know Vance Joy? I love Vance Joy. I've been to Van's show. Okay, he's like a combination of like Mumford
Starting point is 00:47:36 and Sons. Maybe I should have taken the tickets for everything. Mumford and Sons and Vance Joy He's like a little combo What's your favorite Dermott Kennedy song? Outnumbered is up there I told Jason that Dermott Kennedy was my Hall Pass
Starting point is 00:47:50 And then I said, and I get to meet him So Did he approve of the Hall Pass? Well, I'm like, what's the point of having a hall pass If you can't actually do it? It's a whole pass. It's not getting a pass here tonight. Dermann's like, oh, no. What's the point of having a house to?
Starting point is 00:48:04 I just assume he wants me to. Is he single? No. sorry, Jason. I don't. He's not single. I'm not single. It's never going to happen. I just love his voice. Yeah. He's, I mean, I tagged him in something and I'm a little disappointed. He didn't respond, but that's okay. He can big time me. You have more followers than him. I know, but not for long. Not for long. I just hit 1.8. Oh, congratulations. It's so funny because people think you're up there and one of the most followed people from the show. But people think I care because of like popularity or something,
Starting point is 00:48:35 but really I'm like business mindset. Like I'm like, okay. I mean, hello, you. You. sell things on your Instagram. Like, how more people who follow you, the better that is? Yeah, I'm not like, I'm so cool. I'm like, yes, business. Oh, yeah, he is cute. Yeah. Oh, I think followers in the same exact way.
Starting point is 00:48:50 I'm not like, oh, I need people to follow me. I'm like, this is actually just good for my job. And when people, you know, when the business team at bar stool looks at my insights, like they'll see, I am gaining followers. Exactly. Yes, it's not about, yeah. It's not a popularity thing for me, Bill. Yeah, it a little bit about something.
Starting point is 00:49:05 But it does make me feel good. Yeah. Wine's kicking out. All right. Okay. Thank you, Caitlin, for joining us. I hope you come back soon to New York. And I hope you have a great time at the Dermannity concert. Next time, we're going to have to hang out.
Starting point is 00:49:19 Well, okay. We're going to, what's the place called? Zuma. Zuma? Where is that? Oh, are you from New York, Bailey? She's Canadian like me. Okay, okay, okay, okay.
Starting point is 00:49:31 Well, I kept saying you were coming to visit Bailey. I thought Bailey lived in New York this whole time.
