And I was like, wow, actually somebody told me I was on my friend's boat for her birthday in Vancouver and somebody was like, not skinny, not that came to your like defense with people. And I was like, really? But I was off social media. So I looked at it in the last couple of days. I was like, oh, that was really nice of you to stand up for me like that.

Because I knew it was going to happen. I knew as soon as Jason, I called off an engagement. I mean, it was already my fault when we weren't posting enough and people were questioning everything. It was always like, God, you're ruining another good thing. This is what you do. I couldn't believe it. When I saw your stories pre-announcement. Yeah.

And you were like, you know, let people. I think, by the way, you're lucky that I'm a, I'm a real life friend. Yeah. Because if I was just my gossip queen and we didn't have a relationship. Yes. What would you do? That's what, well, no, but here's the line. It's like, it was, nothing mean.

Yeah, yeah. But like, you, you posted something and deleted it. I forget what it was. Oh, shit, what I do. I don't remember what it was. You post something and deleted it about like, you were like, I think it was that. You were like enough, like let people do things in their own time. Like something like that.

complaining about one person right yeah but like what i saw on my end of your breakup not and that wasn't mean right that's not like the meanest thing anybody's ever said to you but it's like just like the patriarchy which i'm so not that bitch but like i'm getting to be that big yeah but it's like whoa i was mind blown by like well you know she's just like prefers her career Yeah, he wants to settle down. Poor Jason, like, he's been wanting to settle down. And I really like Jason, too, like, yeah, yeah. But I was like, how are you all?

Like, like, I'm getting chills. Like, 85% of you have decided on this narrative to be true. Yeah. Like, I love Caitlin, but she's like, you know, likes to drink wine and, you know, like, whatever it was, it was bombarding me. Yeah. From your breakup. And I was like, whoa, whoa, whoa. Like, this is so.

up. And ever since then, like, I've noticed other things like just fucking blaming the woman with it. And sometimes the woman's to blame. Like, I definitely will hold myself accountable for certain things in the relationship. But like, but you're assuming without knowing anything. Right. Like, they don't know any. You don't know anything, but you're literally 85% of you are like, poor Jason. Yeah. Caitlin did this. Yeah. She, all the, all the different things that I'm like, and then you can go into every reason, right? You could be like, okay, the reason of like her preferring her career which people are saying yeah are you kidding me so she can't have a career and she can't do her thing it's wild and again i'm going to chills that it's like

seeing that and seeing that so many people believe one thing to be true yeah it scares me a little so that's why i had to say it but it was also nice to see how many people agreed with that pose yes i always talk about how the hate and like all that is just so much louder than the kind words But if you go looking for the kindness or, like, say something, you get a little bit, like, reassured that the world, the world isn't so bad. Yes. But I knew that that was going to happen. I didn't know.

You knew it before. That's why I stayed off social media because I was like, I'm going to take a break. Did I take a long break? People are like, oh, I thought you were taking a break. I'm like, it was two weeks, bitch. That's a long as time for. I know. I couldn't do like a day.

That's, it's literally my job. Oh, you're back? Yeah. You're done grieving. I'm like, unfollow me then. You pulled us bitch. Yeah. You don't even care about your relationship.

I'm like, I'm still, I'm going to grieve that I'm genuinely lost a friend out of this breakup. Like, it's, it's just crazy. I knew it was going to be bad. I didn't know it was going to be that bad of what people were saying to me. Well, I'm just like. Was it mean or was it just assuming that it's your fault? Both.

A lot of both. And I feel like, did you want him to defend you publicly? Yeah, a little bit. Just because we talked about, like, protecting each other through it because, like, Of course, when you go through breakups, you want to have your side and someone have their side and you want to, like, justify it and say all these things. But we really agreed on protecting each other. So when he was kind of leaning into that sad, like, like, puppies, yeah.

Yeah, I was like, bro. I wondered how you felt about the puppies. Yeah. Well, it killed me. The puppies were a lot. I mean, the, yeah. Well, because I said that to my sister, actually. And again, I like Jason.

But same. Because the message that he made it sound like he was trying to get across was, like his friend right right and he could have done the friend being there for him in a much different way in without the dogs yeah the minute you put the dogs that's like everyone like was worried about the dogs strings and it's the well and it it didn't protect me because it made me look like I was taking the dogs away from him yeah I did I just said I literally figured I was like that's because that's like created in the narrative I mean that's adding it added to it and the messages that I got after that oh my god and and and

he was like, well, I didn't get one message about it. And I was like, I did. And it just made me really sad because the dogs are literally our number one priority through this. We are both obsessed with them. And we have made it very clear that we're going to be sharing them. How are you going to do that forever though, Caitlin? I don't know.

You're not thinking about forever. Well, I like to think dogs live forever. No, not about, oh my God, I'm doing it again. I had Katie on my podcast. Yeah. And I can't believe I'm repeating this. I'm going to get canceled. But whatever.

I had Katie Maloney on my podcast. after um her and schwartz broke out and and i was like when did you last see schwartz and she was like when um you know we did the dog exchanges and i was like katie like how long is that going last and she's like and i was like how old are they oh no and she was like well butter is 11 i was like oh my god people when i say i was but this i don't care about as much because like i know that it was in a funny way. I have a dog. He's 11. Obviously, I don't want any animals. Like, animals are more important than humans, okay? But the way that conversation went, like, there was that timing of like, oh. You're like, he's 11. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. And people were like,

adding me, like, because I ended up posting it as a clip because I'm a thirsty ass bitch. And I'm like, this is funny. This is going to get some engagement. So it was literally all like, you know, Katie. And Katie's like a friend. And they were, and she laughed. She was like, you're a horrible part like it was like funny but they were like Katie you know hates you and you're horrible and you're like killing animals and you want them to die and I'm like no but I seriously am such a logical rational person as much as I get it the sharing custody thing I'm also like how is this feasible oh yeah yeah yeah how is it um yes I know what you mean how can this stay right the situation I'm not sure yeah I won't even let the dog see me pack a backpack right because they

have severe abandonment ship issues. They came from the streets of China. I will not let them see a backpack because they get upset. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So to be recording the U-Haul and letting them out to see the U-Haul and having them look sad and scared, I was like, oh, I was devastated. So it's already difficult to share the dogs because I'm like, don't do that to them. And what do you do? And then I get protective. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But I mean, no dogs on social media. It's so hard. Like, don't put our kids on social. like blur out their faces. I mean, listen, I look back like my husband bought me, sorry, guys, we were young.

Yeah. He bought me a dog. Yeah. When I was 20, when I turned 25. Yeah. And we had been together at that, at that point, we'd been together for a year. I'm like, how, like, ambitious were you? Very.

They were going to be together forever. I was 25 years old. Yeah. You bought me a dog. Yeah. Like in that moment, I was like, oh my god but like looking back at it now i was and it's we still have him leo he's been through a lot with us cross countries and everything but i'm like how you fucking try to lock i mean that's

that's an engagement ring like and but i feel like when you're younger you don't realize it as much yeah you're like a dog like yeah yeah and he reminds me that i used to talk about when i'm like i can't believe you got me a dog it's so aggressive um he he he tells me that i don't believe him, but he says that I used to, like, point out this other couple our age, like, I'm like, they had, they have a dog, why can't we get a dog? But I was stupid. I'm like, okay, but if I said that I was 25, I didn't get it. Right. I didn't get that like, what would we do? Yeah. If we broke up, but thinking about it, now it is a big, but also now I have a baby. Right. So like, of course. So now, not that I look at animals as less, but it does take a little bit

of a backseat when you have kids. I'm sure it does. Yeah. I mean, I like to pretend I grew ramen and pinot in my womb. Yeah. But obviously I didn't. I can't even imagine what that love would be like for a child. Yeah, because you're so obsessed. It's actually bad. Like, I treat them like they are humans. I've said this a million times, but people will need to check on me when something happens to them. Like, I'm worried about myself. So is it hard for you to share them, though? Yeah, because I mean, it's, we both travel so much. Yeah. We have the best dog care in the world. Like, we have two people that we go between that come to our house, my house now, and, like, watch them and love them the way that we do. And we, like, they are so spoiled. But I don't ever want to, like, not have

them if I'm home. Have you had to deal with that yet? Not yet. Okay. Because it's been like, it's going to be, I've been really, you know, keeping myself busy. I had my dad who's, like, if. The cutest thing ever. He's the cutest thing. He's always there for me. And especially in hard times, like in good, bad, ugly, but he's always, he'll fly out to me in like a hard time. And we just have the best conversations, like quality time. And so I keep myself occupied, like with things that make me feel like, I'm like, okay, don't, don't go party, Caitlin. Don't like go to bars. Go go numb yourself. Like, spend time with the people that make you feel loved. I was thinking like, are you going to have a New York era? I might. I'm feeling it from you. I'm feeling like a Shannon Ford.

Yes. Energy. Yes. Like you might get a little getting a little maybe like, yeah. I have coming out about that because I'm like I love I love New York today it stressed me out a lot but it's a very busy time here but I love it yeah I love it I could see myself having a moment here but again the dogs they I'm like I want them to have a yard I want them to like and they love being at the house and they love the backyard and they're just so particularly like they're just so yeah I talk about dogs for the whole podcast I know you can't because of the dogs yeah basically yeah okay guys as you know I'm in Italy right now I always learn so much about myself when I travel. And if you don't repair those little rips, they become like big tears and you can't repair them after they're too far gone. And that's what it was. Yeah. Yeah. It's sad, though.

That's what it, that's what I think when I try and wear flats, I go, this just reminds me of my sixth grade teacher, Mrs. Hughes, who was a nun and wore flats. the time. Huh. Yeah. but Jared Leto doing like snack aisles he's doing like that thing where you go to like the supermarket and you go in the snack aisle but now he's doing other weird things he's like collabing with this like influence he's collab posting with this you don't need to do that I know just like be the alleged cult leader vampire that you are do you see he's doing like skits oh wow yeah he's he's doing like a bit like he's I don't know and you know who else is doing the most? No, he did not collab with Hayley Bailey. A lot. I don't know her. She, what is she?

I only know her because, just like hot and maybe a little bit funny. Do you know that she actually, Sean got caught. Instagram by paparazzi, I guess she called the paparazzi on him. What paparazzi would publish that, though? Well, I don't think many did. I think it was like one online and, yeah, it was crazy. Somebody like tagged me in it. So how did they, how did Jared Letto start doing content with her? It's probably, that's what it is. When I started posting that Jared Letto is doing Instagram things, I was like, who's his social person?

Right. DM me. Yeah, like need to know. Who's this social person? working for him being like, okay, now we should do your favorite snacks. Like, maybe just be like a little bit more on brand for him, you know? Yeah, why? Do like vampire things.

I wonder why people do that. Like, I don't want to know what Jared Letto likes to snack on. No, I don't, I really don't care. I would like, unless it's blood, then I care. Yeah, I wish did the direction, the creative direction he was taking. Like the content? Yeah. You know what else is so funny? What? Tell. So when the Jonas Brothers, all the content and all the, are you a fan? I'm not like a, what do they call?

circle backer so they did that big um show i think was it at yankee stadium yeah lots of collabs happened that night lots of collabs that's where sophie was last seen with him if you remember they both were matching this was august like 24th okay she walked in with him holding hands yeah she even kissed his hand in the pick like that's how close they were wow okay what was funny was that prionka was there yeah and this like thing when viral of her like going like this and people were like Priyanka's crying to the song blah blah blah blah and because I'm such a cynical bitch I was like no way she's crying like she's not crying

right like because it was also like right like it wasn't like it was like it seemed like a yeah something else I was like she's not crying blah blah and then I got it confirmed by someone in there that she was crying that she wasn't it was sweat she was wiping off Yeah. So I'm saying like it's, but, but, but it raised, uh, uh, like sweet spot for me because I was like, I'm so used to people being haters. It is kind of nice that people were trying to paint this like really sweet story. Yeah.

That she was like crying because she loves his music so much. Yeah. That bitch is sick of going his shows. Truly. She's sick of his music. She's sick of him doing collabs. It's. She for sure is.

Yeah. All of them. Yeah. So I was like, but you know. What, like, cynicism proved itself. Like, there was no crying. No crying. But it is kind of wild, the Sophie and Joe thing, like, that they, like, what's going on there?

The PR around him taking the kids for lunch after me. That made me sick. I was like, it's giving two dogs. It's giving you all. In New York, yeah. It's giving. And I'm glad because I don't want to call myself the pioneer of this, but I was one of the first people to say, like, you know, again, I was like, team Sophie.

And I was sure that the media would keep on going, but then the media jumped on. I know. And was like, Joe. Yeah. You know, what is he doing? Yes. And I'm like, wow, like that. And then I almost felt bad for him in a sense because I was like, he really thought this would.
