Welcome to Grape Juice Therapy, because you guys can't have wine.
Nope, nope.
And you don't want wine?
Nope.
Not until you're 32.
Okay.
Yeah.
Okay, so this is a special edition.
We are calling to Grape Juice Therapy because you're not old enough to have wine.
I'm with my niece, Sydney, and my nephew Brody.
Hi.
Hi.
Hi, guys.
This is cute.
Are you being shy?
No.
A little bit.
No.
Maybe.
Okay.
So tell us, why don't you tell us a little tiny bit about yourselves, just so, you know, the listeners can get an idea, even though they probably already know from my Instagram stories.
But, Sid, why don't you go first?
Okay.
Well, my name is Sidney.
My favorite color is teal.
Oh, good color.
How old are you?
I'm 10 years old.
Okay.
And who's your favorite superhero?
Wonder Woman, I guess.
Yeah, good one.
That's a good one.
What else?
What do you love to do?
I love to make slime.
Oh, slime's fun.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Okay.
Brody?
My name is Brody.
Yeah?
My favorite color is red.
Red.
How old are you?
Six years old.
And you have the cutest voice in all of the land.
I guess so.
I guess so.
And who's your favorite superhero?
Sid's pointing at the mic.
She wants you to talk into the mic a little more.
Me?
Me?
You made me cry right off the bat on my own podcast.
That's so sweet.
That's so nice.
I don't even know what to say?
I'm your favorite superhero.
I didn't even tell him to say that.
Oh, that is really...
Oh, yes, yours was good, too.
She's a good role model.
Thank you for saying that.
What's my superpower?
Nothing.
Oh.
And I'm still your favorite superhero?
I'll take it.
Um, well, thank you guys so much for doing the podcast.
You're welcome.
Sydney, I think you know, but Brody, do you know what a podcast is?
Not really.
It's kind of like my own radio show.
What?
Yeah.
So people aren't listening right now.
They'll listen later.
Are you nervous?
No.
You shouldn't be.
By the way, on podcasts, you have to talk.
You can't just nod your head, okay?
Because we can't see.
And you guys got your great juice in front of you?
Yep.
Okay.
Is it delicious?
Yeah.
Okay.
So I wanted a podcast with you both, A, because I love you, and I love talking to you both.
But B, because I think you guys are very funny and honest.
And that's what I like to have on my podcast, okay?
Okay.
Okay, here we go.
Basically, I'm just going to ask you guys some rapid fire questions.
Okay.
And we all know that kids say the darnest thing.
So just be honest with each answer and say whatever your little heart's desire, okay?
Okay.
Okay.
They're very easy questions.
Okay.
What nicknames do I usually call you guys?
Well, you really, you sometimes call me muffin?
Muffin, yeah?
Yeah.
Brody, what do I call you?
I don't know.
I call you peanut nose?
Peanut nose, yeah.
Muffin face?
Yep.
Poopie schmoopees?
Yep.
My little bea-bees?
Yep.
Yep.
Okay.
Nuggets.
Oh, that's right, Brody.
I always call you nuggets.
What makes you guys happy?
Seeing you.
Oh, that's so sweet.
Yeah?
Yeah?
What else makes you happy?
Um, sleeping.
That makes me how to see.
Sydney, I'm going to call your bluff there.
Sleepy makes you happy?
Yep, I slept.
Yep.
I feel like you wake me up every time I sleep over at like 5.30 in the morning.
Yeah, because you always say in the middle of the night we can wake up and watch TV and eat cookies.
That happened once when you were three and you've never let me live it down.
One time you were three,
years old and you woke up in the middle of the night when we were going to sleep over and I fed us chips
that was a that's such an anti move isn't it yeah yeah brodie what makes you happy
vacations vacations with you oh vacations with me yeah vacation what do you like about vacationing
I go different places yeah what's your favorite place you've ever been Mexico for me
Mexico for you not even gone there Mexico for me what about
you, Brody.
Vernon.
Because you get to see Emma and Papa.
Yep.
Yeah, that's fun, and you go swimming and hang out.
That's not where the pool is.
Oh, we get to go to the lake on the boat and have snackies.
Yep.
Yep.
Okay.
What do you guys look forward to when you wake up?
On my iPad.
Oh, iPad.
I look forward to coming down and breakfast is ready.
that's what you look forward to and your whole day breakfast is your favorite thing
what about like playing with your friends or playing with toys playing hockey watching TV
like what in your whole day do you get so excited to do oh drawing drawing yeah yeah you're a good
drawer yeah you like to draw okay so what would you say is one word you would use to describe
your auntie?
Amazing.
You don't have to just say,
that's the first word that came in your mind?
I thought you were going to say crazy.
Nope.
Okay, Brody?
First word that, when somebody says,
Auntie Katie, what do you think?
I know.
Oh, come on, one word.
I mean, I'll take fun.
Fun.
Fun?
Okay.
Brody, are you not,
you're not into the podcast or what?
I am.
Okay, cool.
What makes you feel brave?
Deep breath.
Deep breath.
breaths taking deep breaths makes you feel brave that's good going on adventures yeah like when we go for

no sitney's giving the look like well i do but barely sometimes but you look up to your
sister? Yep. Yeah, because she makes, she's, she is brave, so you can look up to her, right?
Yep. She knows the way. I don't believe in her, though. You don't believe in her?
No. What do you mean? With what? When she shows you where to go? But you believe in her for other things.
Yeah. Yeah. Okay. What makes you both feel loved?
When somebody kisses me? That's nice.
when I get hugs every morning when my mom tries when anyone tries to wake me up
you feel loved because you get hugs yeah I'd say that's pretty good hugs and kisses are a great
way of showing love is that what you guys do to show people you love them yeah you give them
hugs and kisses yeah it's nice if your stuffed animals could talk what would they say
every night like every day they would see to me you're amazing and you're funny
yep that's what they would say that's a good point you're amazing and you're funny yeah i like that
brodie what would your stuffed animals say to you would they say i love you yeah and would they say
um stop tooting in the bed no would they say would they say stop sleeping in every day yeah you like your sleep
don't you. Okay. How do you both like to help others at school? Well, my friend
Ariana, she broke her leg on a trampoline. So she's in a wheelchair and I help her. Oh, how do you
help her? Well, she got out of control today in her wheelchair and she fell in the woodchips. Oh.
And she has pins in her foot. Oh. Hold it together. And she steps on it, the pins break.
and it goes like zigzag what in her leg and then she has to get rest to the hospital so i like ran and i like slid so her foot didn't touch the ground
you did yeah you took you like went and you dove in front of her so that her foot didn't hit the ground yep wow
wasn't like this close yeah it was really close wow that's a good friend right there and that shows her you care
yeah you were willing to hurt yourself scrape up the old knees just to protect her foot
Yep.
Nice.
Brody, what do you do at school that shows people you care?
I know.
Do you tell people anything nice in the day?
Do you say, hey, I like your shirt?
Yep.
You do?
What else do you do?
Do you write cards for people?
You wrote Uncle Sean a really nice card.
Yeah?
You wrote him a card and what did you say in it?
I don't want to say it.
Can I say it?
Yep.
Okay.
It said, who is the best.
uncle in the whole world and yeah yeah oh what did it say he has it uncle Sean has it right now
what did it say you tell me who's the best uncle ever oh who's the best uncle ever and and then what
you open the page and it says yeah you that's so nice see you do thoughtful little sentimental gifts
okay yeah what is your favorite smell rain rain that's a good smell don't you love when you're
laying in your bed at night and you have your window open and it's raining and you get a breeze in
and you can smell the rain it's nice isn't it brodo you got you got a talk you can't just nod your head
okay my favorite smell is when you first walk into subway i love it that has been your favorite
smell for a while yeah when you walk into a subway sandwich store yep that's your favorite smell
the fresh bread. Yep. Love it. I feel that. I feel that one.
Love it. Want to know my favorite smell? What? Sean B. Why? Have you smelled them?
Yeah.
Smells good, doesn't? Emma usually smells my hair a lot. Amma smells your hair a lot? Why do you not wash it?
No, because. Oh, she likes the smell. She puts gel in it sometimes. Yeah? And the gel smells really good.
Can I smell your hair, Brody? I've never done right now. Oh, okay. Okay. Okay.
So, yeah, my favorite smell.
It's his cologne.
Just go smell them after this.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
What do you think you're going to dream about tonight?
Bad dreams.
You're going to have bad dreams?
What are they going to be about?
What's a bad dream to you?
When somebody kidnaps me?
Oh, yeah, that is scary.
Well, I hope you don't dream that tonight.
Yeah.
Sidney?
I have a performance tonight.
Mm-hmm.
And I think that I'm going to dream about how well I did, I think.
You know what?
I will say this.
You have such a good level of confidence.
And I love how...
I'm really nervous, though.
Yeah, well, of course.
That doesn't mean...
No, I'm just saying, I love that what you think your stuffed animals would tell you you're funny.
You're awesome.
You know that you're going to have dreams about how well you did tonight.
And I think you're going to do so...
So you're singing.
Yes.
And acting.
And acting, yes.
We're recreating the music man.
The music man.
What do you say?
Something special in a song.
So what song is it?
I don't remember what song it is.
Sydney.
I don't.
You are performing tonight and you don't remember the song?
Well, I'll know what it's called.
Okay, what's it called?
I just said I don't know what it's called.
Oh, you don't know what it's called.
How does it go?
Oh, it's 76 trombones.
Okay.
ago.
76 trombones
let the big parade
with 110 cornets right
behind. We were followed by
rows and rows of the
finest virtuals, so debris
of every famous pen.
That was really good.
Thanks.
Oh, you're going to do so well.
And then you have to say a line?
No.
Something special.
Something special, yeah.
And you had that part all by yourself?
yeah how are you going to say it
how are you going to say it you're going to go
something special
no it's in this song
but I'll just say something special
oh
is that the part you're the most nervous for
I was I was
I was I was trying to do my like musical theater voice
yeah
yeah that was not not it but you're going to do great
we can't wait that's why we're here
that's why we get to podcast with you today
because we're here
to watch your musical.
Yep.
And we're already proud of you.
Oh, thank you.
What's your favorite sound?
Oh, that's a tough line.
Is it?
I like the sound.
When you have a cereal bowl and a spoon, and you bang it to,
and you bang the spoon and the bowl together in its metal.
That's your favorite sound when you smash cereal against a bowl with a spoon.
No.
When you have a metal,
spoon in a metal bowl.
Yeah.
And you, like, bang the middle.
Oh, Brody knows what you're talking about?
Yeah.
And when you bang the spoon onto the bowl.
Oh.
Like the ding, ding, ding.
That's your favorite sound in the world.
Yeah.
Brody?
When you tap the hockey stick on the ice.
Oh, you tap the hockey stick on the ice.
That's a good sound.
I bet you also like the sound when it says, go.
Nope.
Oh, just kidding.
Oh, yeah, I was just kidding.
What is a memory that you guys have that makes you?
very happy.
When my mom told me that Auntie Katie
was coming.
You guys are good.
You are so sweet.
I don't know.
You don't know of a good memory?
What about, like, your birthday
or when you scored your first goal?
Scored my first goal.
Yeah?
Was that a good memory?
Yeah.
I'm pretty sure you scored like six that game, right?
Once I scored like nine.
Yeah.
Wow.
In a tournament.
Nine goals in one tournament?
In three periods, though.
In three periods?
You scored nine goals?
And three periods.
See you in the NHL.
Is that the end goal?
What do you want to be when you grow up, Brody?
Hockey player.
Yeah?
Sidney, what do you want to be?
I want to be a teacher or a vet.
I can't decide.
Do it be a vet, except you'd have to, like, deal with sick animals, and that's sad.
Yeah.
But you'd help them, so that's happy.
But I also want to be a teacher.
You'd be a really good teacher.
Sinney.
Tell them what happened to a dog.
Like, when we had to take her to the vet hospital?
Yeah.
Yeah, tell me.
Well, we had to take her to the vet hospital because she wasn't acting her normal self and she wasn't feeling well.
Is she better now?
She pees in the house, not outside.
Uh-oh.
So what do you think it is?
Well, they think it's a bladder infection.
Oh, poor doggy.
And she's not even a year old yet.
Oh, my goodness.
What's her name again?
Sadie.
Sadie.
And she's a golden doodle?
Yes.
Yeah.
Well, I hope she's okay.
Me too.
Yeah.
And she's back home now?
Yeah.
Yeah.
We just went for a little visit before.
Okay.
Yeah.
Just for a talk.
Just for a little talk?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Oh, okay.
She loves the doctor.
The, your dog?
Oh, that's nice.
Perfect.
Because she's been there before and she knows where the treats are.
Oh.
That'll do it.
Yep.
Okay.
I'm going to have a little honest moment with everybody.
I used to be like, okay, everybody and their dog promotes sugar bear hair on Instagram.
So I got them to actually send me some because I was like, I got to see if this stuff works.
Everybody's talking about it.
And healthy hair is pretty important to me.
So I tested it out, decided I'm obsessed.
Sugar bear hair is the best seller on Amazon with thousands of rave reviews.
You can see it for yourself.
They taste like sweet, delicious.
candy made with the juice of real berries, but they contain everything you need for stronger,
healthier hair. As much vitamin A as four cups of broccoli, as much vitamin C as one cup of
cranberries, and as much B12 as four organic eggs. Nutrients and sugar bear hair fans also found
their nails and skin quality improve over time. So to be honest, I have been taking sugar
bear hair for probably five months now, I would say. And I really do notice a difference in my hair
and my nails. I mean, I have pretty glowy skin, but I do, I do notice a difference.
Go to sugarbearhair.com slash vine for beautiful hair and a healthier you.
That's sugarbearhair.com slash vine. Sugarbearhair.com slash fine.
We'll be right back with more off the vine. Great therapy.

Now back to Off the Vine Grape Therapy.
Um, what do you think, Brody, I'll let you think about this, but Sidney, what do you think
makes somebody beautiful?
Oh.
God.
Brody.
What?
Their heart.
Mm-hmm.
Their heart and how kind they are probably.
Yeah.
Yeah.
What do you think, Brody?
I don't know.
Do you think?
What makes somebody beautiful to you?
If they're funny.
Funny.
Yeah?
Do you have a crush on anybody, Brody, at school?
Maybe.
Tell me?
Nope.
You won't tell me?
Nope.
I'm not saying mine either.
Well, okay, you can make up a fake name.
Oh, okay.
Okay, Sidney, you have a crush, too?
Yeah.
Okay, make up a name.
Bob.
His name's Bob.
Sure, yeah.
Okay.
Why do you have a crush on Bob?
I don't know.
Oh, come on.
He likes football, I guess.
Oh, okay.
And I like football?
You do?
Mm-hmm.
Wow, I'm learning something new about you today.
So he likes football and you like football, therefore you have a crush on him.
Yeah.
Is he nice?
He's really nice.
Okay, good.
Is he cute?
Maybe.
Bob.
What about you, Brody?
Do you want to make up a name for her?
Steve.
Oh, Steve.
A girl named Steve.
Well, maybe it's a boy.
And what do you like about Steve?
I don't know.
You don't know?
She's pretty.
Who do you like?
Oh, come on.
You're too young, maybe.
You try to tell me?
Steve's good at drawing.
Yeah?
Is she good at drawing?
Yeah?
after I'll show you one
Oh, you'll show me a picture
That she drew
Okay, I'm excited to see it
Okay, what is your favorite quality
About yourself?
What's a quality?
Like, do you,
what's your favorite thing about yourself?
How hilarious I am.
You like slapped your knee after.
I got a joke for you.
Okay.
I'm writing for you.
No, let's save it for the end.
Okay.
Save it for the end.
You think you're hilarious?
That's your favorite quality?
Yeah, because I am hilarious.
I agree with you on that one.
You are.
Brody?
I don't know.
Come on.
You like about yourself.
You're really good at saying, I don't know.
Yeah.
I hope that.
Yeah.
I'm really good at playing hockey and scoring golf.
Yes, there you go.
There you go.
So you like your favorite quality about yourself is your athleticism.
Yeah.
Sure.
Uh, how would you both describe what your auntie does for a living?
Lay in bed.
Oh!
Podcasts a lot.
Podcasts a lot.
Lay in bed.
What else?
Careful of the towel, Bertie.
Um, do for a living.
Go to the gym.
You think that's what I get paid to do?
Well, no.
Go to the gym?
No.
What do you think I do to get paid?
Podcasts.
Okay.
Um, what's my, what is my job?
Like, what do you think I do?
Fly a lot?
Yeah, that's true.
Brody, do you have any ideas?
I already said one.
What was it?
Oh, lay in bed.
Yeah.
No, I want to mind.
What is your favorite thing to do when your parents aren't around?
Make slime?
You do that when your parents are around.
Oh, you're so innocent.
you don't want to you don't like listening to like rap music
nope you don't like what
I watch YouTube a lot you watch YouTube a lot yeah okay
I don't really do things that I'm not supposed to do
oh my goodness I hope I have kids like you guys
you say all the right things you don't even say the darnest things
you just say the right things that's that's a good thing
so I don't I don't know
Oh, my God.
Okay, I'll ask you in, like, three years.
Okay.
When you're 13.
Okay.
Good adding.
Okay.
Thank you.
I like math.
Mad minutes.
Mad minutes.
What are three things you love about each other?
Well, I love that we play games together.
We play games together.
Yeah?
Sometimes.
Yeah.
When we're at school, he gives me hugs and he treats me well.
Oh, that's so nice probably.
But when we're home,
we fight a lot
All siblings do
But that's nice
That he's so nice to at school
Yeah
I gave him mostly of my granola bar today
I like that much
What?
It was a smores canola bar
Oh, that is love right there
Now that makes me hungry
Yeah
I'll give you a granola bar after the podcast
How about that?
Sure
Or whatever your mom has here to eat
Okay
what oh wait no that was three
Brody give me one more thing you love
about Sydney
What's one more thing? I love her
That's so nice
Oh and then you guys hug
I love you
Aw
Lee's cute
Hugging each other
I don't remember being like that
With your sister
Or with your mom my sister
Maybe we were
I can't remember
Okay if you won an award
What would it be for?
Scoring a goal
Probably sounds like something you would do
for me it would probably be i don't know how to explain it but for like standing up for people who get
bullied i don't know how to say it in a you said it right no that's right you stand up for people
and how do you do that well i think bullying's just bad i don't i think it was i think it shouldn't be invented
Yeah.
I agree.
Bullying should not have ever been invented.
Yeah.
And how do you think you stop it?
Don't let anybody do that anymore.
Yeah.
Don't let anybody treat you a certain way.
I just say go separate ways.
Go separate ways.
That's a good one.
Because I've been in that situation before.
Oh, that's a good one, Sydney.
So if someone is bullying you, you just don't hang out with that person anymore.
Or don't be around them.
Yeah.
I just walk.
The other direction.
Yeah.
And sometimes they follow me, so I run and hide.
Which I don't find me.
No, you stand up for yourself.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And...
But sometimes you do that?
Yeah.
Well, because it's just sometimes it's easier to just separate yourself, like you said.
Yeah.
Right?
Right, Brody?
Yep.
Yeah.
No, that's really good, Sid.
And I agree.
You're really good at that.
And you guys wear shirts on anti-bullied day.
Yep.
Let's say, be, what is it?
Be a buddy, not a bully.
Yeah, be a buddy, not a bully.
Do you think you'd ever ask anybody why they were bullying?
Like, do you think you'd have, if someone bullied someone,
do you think you'd ever go up and just ask why and try and hear their answer?
Because, yeah, usually it's.
Some people are jealous.
Yeah, exactly.
But we have a cute, a puppy, then none.
Yeah.
Yeah, that'll do it.
Yeah.
Yeah, because usually someone's being mean, it's because they're just a,
said about something with themselves right yep yeah exactly um what was my other question we've only got
a few minutes left um what is your favorite thing to drink oh what brodie saying it into the mic
sparkling ice that i have right now oh your grape sparkling ice yeah that's good what about you said
I like the sparkling ice, but a different flavor.
A different flavor?
Yeah.
Well, you had to do grape for grape juice therapy today.
Exactly.
Yeah.
What is Auntie's favorite drink?
Wine.
Brody.
No hesitation there.
Sid, do you think my favorite drink's wine?
Yeah.
Yeah, it is.
Yeah.
Do you know where wine comes from?
No.
Grapes.
Yeah?
What?
Yeah.
Yeah.
grapes
That's weird
I know
But it's delicious
Only when you're older
No
Do you
Oh weird
I'm talking about your crushes
If you had one million dollars
What would you do with it
Wouldn't spend it
You wouldn't
Brody you'd save it
Yep
You wouldn't spend any of it
For when I was like 30
I would fly myself up
To Nashville to see auntie
And Uncle Sean
Duh
Yeah you would do that
Wait, because you can put away some money.
Yeah.
Because it doesn't cost a million dollars.
No, it does not.
To fly.
You could save, like, half a million, and then just blow another half a million.
Yeah.
On, like, you could build yourself, like, a water slide house.
Oh, a mansion with a water slide in the backyard.
Yeah.
Oh, that would be amazing.
Brody?
What?
You'd just save it all.
You wouldn't buy yourself a nice water slide house?
Yep, I will.
Yeah, okay.
What else?
what's what do you do? Build a hockey rink in your basement?
I wouldn't have that much money. Yeah, you would. You had a million bucks.
Yeah. Okay, that's what you do. Now, I have a million dollar question for you both.
Where do babies come from? I'm not, I'm not answering that. Tummies? So what happens?
They just appear in the belly?
I don't know
Somehow they just become
Sidney's trying not to laugh
What are you old enough to know this, Sid?
Oh, you do?
I know.

So where do they come out of?

Oh, like the tummy just opens.
No.
What?
Do they cut open your stomach?
No.
Well, what do they do?
Not, no.
Just say it's Sydney.

Yeah.
Okay.
Okay.

Say why?
Oh, I mean, why?
Because my teacher told me it was a piece of cake.
Knock, knock.
Who's there?
Cows go.
Cows go who?
No, Cows go moo.
Oh, man.
I should have known that one.
Yeah.
Okay, want to hear one from me?
Yeah.
So, it's actually a story that happened, Brody.
Are you going to screw open?
and closed in your water bottle a more time.
Okay, this actually happened to me, but it turned into a joke.
You ready?
Yep.
I was in an elevator in New York.
Oh, my gosh.
Is that already funny?
Yeah.
And there is a guy in there who he presses the buttons for you.
And so he said, what floor miss?
And I said, oh, 12.
And then I said, oh, the elevator business, eh?
Must have its ups and downs
I don't get it
I don't get it
Is Uncle Sean sleeping?
Yep
That was funny
