Okay, let's talk about the original enemies to lovers story.
Before all of our reality TV couples, before the rom-coms, we binge,
there was Elizabeth Bennett and Mr. Darcy in pride and prejudice.
And Audible has just dropped a brand new original that will have you completely hooked, I am.
It's not just any audiobook.
This is a full cast performance.
So Marisa Abella, you might know her from industry,
brings Elizabeth Bennett to life.
And Harris Dickinson from Baby Girl and Where the Crawdads sing is Mr. Darcy.
And honestly, the chemistry, you guys, it's everything.
Plus, you've got icons like Glenn Close, Bill Nye and Will Polter in the mix.
Talk about a dream cast.
Now, what I love is how Marissa pulls you right into Lizzie's world, her stubbornness, her wit, her messy family dynamics,
and of course, her complicated feelings for Darcy.
And with a vibrant new adaptation and original score by Grammy-nominated composer, it just feels
so fresh and modern while still keeping that timeless Jane Austen charm.
So whether it's your first time experiencing Pride and Prejudice or you've read it a million times, you're going to fall absolutely in love all over again.
So go listen to Pride and Prejudice now at audible.ca slash Jane Austen.
We're on with OTV.
Podcast One presents Off the Vine, Grace Therapy.
Caitlin Bristow's going to answer your questions.
Drink to your confessions and hear what you have to say about anything Bachelor.
Let's shake it up some more.
Here's Caitlin.
All right.
Welcome to Great Therapy.
I'm your host, Caitlin Bristow.
Your session is now starting.
Today, we have newly engaged.
Yatsy.
So many screams.
I'm like so excited.
I'm like, it's finally here.
Blair, the Blorette, and Luke are engaged.
We are.
Hey.
Hello.
What the heck?
Seriously.
I can't even believe that it all, like, let's start from the beginning.
Okay, like the very beginning where I was like, I want to do some sort of contest to get
somebody on my podcast.
And I don't know if you've confessed this yet, but you didn't really know who I was.
I knew who you were, but you didn't, but I, yeah, people are going to hate me for this.
I never listened to your podcast before.
No, I think that's funny.
I think it's funny because look what it's created.
Yeah.
And now I listen to your podcast.
Well, yeah.
I've turned you.
Yeah.
I turned you into a vinyl.
But I was doing this content.
like okay let's you know spread the word of the scrunchies they're back yeah let's do a contest we'll
find somebody to come on the podcast it'll be a winner i'm like it'll probably be like you know
i don't know if i'll like vibe with the person it's going to be high risk high reward i don't know
it's gonna be some crazy fan yeah i didn't know what to expect and so uh you were in nashville
anyways which was perfect but there was nobody else we would have picked because blair goes ahead
and makes this video where you wrapped and you're on like roller skates yeah and and
And you had scrunchies in your hair and you made the scrunchy gang song, which we still all sing all the time.
Oh, yeah, for sure.
And so we picked, we see this video.
We're like, whoa, that girl wins like by so much.
Like, you won.
You took the cake by a long shot.
And so we had you on the podcast.
And it just, we just, the conversation was just, I was like, oh, I think I'm going to be friends with her.
Like, what I know.
Well, because I remember.
So this, this girl at work, because I wore scrunchies all the time.
And she told me, like, she was like, did you see Caitlin Bristow, like, from The Bachelorette, like, released a scrunchy line?
And I was like, oh, no, I'll check them out.
Yeah.
And so I looked and I was like, oh, they're really cute.
And I was like, oh, she's doing a contest.
And I just love contests.
Yeah.
And I was, I saw that it was to co-host an episode.
And I was like, well, I've never listened to it.
But, like, she just seems really cool.
I was like, I feel like we'd get along.
So I was like, what the heck, I'll enter it.
Yeah.
And because I just thought to be a cool thing to do.
And then, yeah, people are probably going to be mad.
but hopefully they like me now but they won't no people will not be mad people will be like that's
actually so fascinating and then you you you your people like cleo I think I have people
your people like they reached out and they were like can you do it I think it was was it the day of or
the next day yeah it was the next day they were like can you do it tomorrow and I was like oh gosh
I started like just like binge listening to it and I was like okay she does confessions let me
think of something like yeah I was like I got to get prepared for this and then I had no
idea what to expect but then yeah we just kind of like and the world is so small you were like a
handler on next season of the bachelor i was a just a pa oh yeah i just which is crazy that's got
alcohol and stuff like that but that's like again that's a fun experience to have you know like to be
able to go to the mansion and but it's weird that you know that just ties kind of something together there
where i'm like okay you love scrunchies you worked on the bachelor anyway so fast forward then you come
on the part oh people loved you so much they're like that conversation was just like two friends
hanging out i can't believe you guys have never met before and then people kind of got invested in you
as like a person yeah and then i was like we mentioned the you mentioned the doing the wear it and
people were like this y'all need to do it oh right we came up with it that day yeah yeah and i was
like that would be cool and like i remember telling my friends i was like so listen to like
what we talked about and i was like i don't think it'll actually happen but like it's still like
it was still just like so fun hanging out with her like she was great yeah
I was very into the idea.
I was like,
we're doing this.
Well, then as soon as Cleo reached out and she's like, so are you actually interested in doing this?
And I was like, wait, they're, they actually want to do this?
Yeah.
And I was like, I mean, I'm single as a Pringle.
Like, let's do it.
Yeah.
And we were like, we can give out dues.
Like, will you accept this do?
It can be a whole scrunchy thing.
We'll put it on the IGTV that had just come out.
Yeah.
And it was so perfect because you work for CMT and you do producing and like editing.
and it was it ended up being so legit i was like and then i was like well you know it's never
going to work so at least we had like fun episodes oh i didn't think so but then as soon as
like things started happening i remember seeing luke's video so so luke your sister sarah sent in
she she's a vino yes she listens and so she was like i heard blair and i just had she had like
this intuition that you needed to meet blair and then she was like oh i'll so you were at work
at the hospital and you were doing a night shift so she was like oh you're not doing anything
like send in a quick video just talking about yourself well she texted him and was like hey do you
think this girl is cute oh yeah and he was like yeah like why and she was like I want to sign you up
for this day she's like well I signed you up for a day she had to send her the video though
she did all the paperwork yeah she didn't have to do a video like it would have been yeah
it was like classic course you course he did yeah this is so cute thank goodness she did though
Yeah, and so I saw, and I mean, we've talked about this on the podcast before, I saw the video.
I was sitting right in this chair watching Luke's video and I was like, oh, this is her guy.
Yeah.
Like, well, I mean, I didn't think it would be this, but I was like, oh, this is going to be the guy that she likes.
And did you know that like originally he said he couldn't come because the dates didn't work out?
And so he like declined it.
My first, yeah, I was text.
Yeah.
Yeah, I got the email and they told me the dates.
And I was like, sorry.
Sorry, I can't make it.
I just got back.
I have no time off from work.
Oh, no way.
And I was like, best of luck to Blair.
I hope she finds love.
No way.
I was like, and I was like, close that book onto the next thing.
I don't know what it was.
But then they reached out today, they texted me like two days later.
And I was like, it works out perfectly.
I'm off this whole week.
And they're like, this is the time you can come.
I'm like, yeah, I'll be there.
Well, because I think everyone thought like this guy, like she needs to be this guy.
It was.
I remember.
I remember saying, no, we need to get them.
So I didn't, I guess now it makes sense that you couldn't do it because I remember being like, let's make a different date work because these two need to meet.
There's just something.
That's crazy.
I don't know.
You know when people just like people who know you, Blair and people who know you Luke, like they probably just heard you on the podcast and then they know you.
And you know people just make sense together.
Yeah.
Like you guys just make sense.
It just was like, of course you need to meet.
Yeah.
And so then you went on all these dates and you came back and I was like, well, remember?
I told you, I was like, I don't want to show you
his face, but I think I know you're going to pick this guy.
Yeah. And so then you came back and you're like,
oh, yeah. Like, that's the one.
I, well, because you showed,
you finally gave in, you were like, okay, I'll
give you a sneak peek and show me his picture.
Yeah. And then I asked Taylor. I was like,
I was like, just tell me a name. Because she
had said, too, like, we're really excited for the last guy.
And I was like, just tell me his name.
We were all excited.
Luckily, all the poor other guys were like,
no. Yeah. Luckily, Luke followed me.
So it was so easy to find him.
Yeah.
And like, I had a crush.
on him I feel like before our date like I was like he's so cute his captions are witty like I feel like he's gonna have a good sense of humor like I was like yeah I literally texted my friends like they still have our text conversation and I literally said I was like I'm gonna need y'all to pray that this guy loves Jesus because I think he's my husband like joking around yeah now it's like wait
you're gonna be oh wait it is your future husband oh my gosh I can't believe this all happened and that you're engaged okay let's take a break and talk about something we can all agree on and that's saving my

online savings simplified okay so then
you guys are doing the long distance game yeah so we did long distance for the first six months and
honestly since i've been here i totally forgot about that we did do that i know yeah because you guys
you you did it really well you guys saw each other often yeah we saw each other usually like
every two to three weeks yeah yeah luckily flights are cheap from national to philly so we were
able to do that yeah that's okay wait i just am like remembering something so the first so when you
asked him to accept your final due yeah and he had this whole plan that he was going to dip
you and it was the first one i was like no no no you guys got to do that again i know because my hair
got stuck on my chapstick when you dip me yeah my lipstick and it didn't work and i was like
and it was your first that was not a good first kiss too and i was like do it again i got to get a
boomerang and then last night when you got engaged he did you yeah i know on the same bridge
on the same bridge okay we'll get to that yeah so then okay you're crushing the long distance game
then you decide we can't do long distance anymore
So, Luke, with your job, you were able to come to Nashville.
Yeah, I got it.
And actually, so my recruiter, her name is Sam, she reached out to me from the show.
Yeah.
She followed, like, the podcast and like the Blaret and she's a nurse recruiter.
Yeah.
She reached out to me.
She was like, hey, if everything works out, like, you can come, we'll get you a job down in Nashville, all this stuff.
I'm like, all right, I'll keep in my back pocket if that time comes.
No way.
And I reached back to out to her.
I was like, hey.
Power of the vinos.
I know.
I was like, it's time.
Like, I'm ready to come down.
and she's like all right let's do it and she got me and she's been crushing it ever since oh my gosh so that's how like
i got down here me yeah my job super lenient with a wherever i want to go so that's so cool but yeah the
transition was just like like like people were like is it weird now like being in the same city and i was
like no like it just felt so natural and like he said it's like i forget we did long distance
because now i'm like after not seeing him for a day i'm like i miss you like and i'm like how did we
do like three weeks sometimes not seeing each other i mean i know we face time yeah but still i was
just like god i think long distance actually helped like i agree one you just focus on communication
like because that's all you're exactly right talk on the phone and face time so it's like you just
really get to know each other and then like once he was here it was almost just like completely
exciting all over again and it's like i can see you whenever yeah yeah no i totally i mean i get it the
i do agree with you jason i always talk about how long distance
forces you to have great communication and that's like the only way a long distance relationship
will last is if you have great communication. So then you really get to know each other and you like
find everything to talk about because that's all you have is talking talking. And okay, so then
you move, screw the long distance, we're over it. Yeah. But you don't move in together. No. And so
you're waiting until you get married. But I mean, now my question is you basically hang out all the time
anyways. Do you know each other's living habits?
Good and bad. I think we do. Yeah. I feel like here's the thing.
He spent so much time together anyways. Like Luke is very clean. He's a lot cleaner than me.
So usually I feel like that's the issues. Like you look like a girl and a guy moving together and it's like, oh, the guy's so dirty.
And I'm like, no, it's. It's the other way around. Yeah. Well, I'm not dirty though. I just my clothes pile up on my floor.
Oh, don't even go in the room right now. Yeah. That's literally it though. Like as far as like,
like everything else like I clean my bathroom I clean like I keep it clean so I'm like I don't think
there's anything that we would like be surprised about I know people always ask that question but you're
like yeah that's the thing it's not like back in the day where you like you know you wait to move in
like you're basically spending all the time at each other's houses anyways you know so there's
nothing that's really going to surprise you except for like maybe if you like toot in your sleep or
something. Well, I tut not in my sleep. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. You're an open tutor, which I love about you.
I love that about you. That's like my favorite thing. The other day I accidentally. We were laying there
watching New Girl. Oh, I love New Girl. Yeah. And I was so tired. And so I was like, I was like, let's just like,
because he had made dinner. And I was like, let's just like lay. Like we can watch it in your bed and
like just like chill before I go home. And I farted. And I was like, I think I have to poop.
So I lifted the sheets and it all came out.
She hotboxed the sheets.
I had farted like a minute before and I was like, oh, it doesn't stink.
And then as soon as I lifted, it was like, whew.
And he was like, babe.
And I was like, I'm sorry.
I don't feel good.
It was brutal.
I love that.
I mean, you guys are just already so comfortable with each other.
And you're just like, yeah.
It's so cute.
I love your guys' relationship.
It's adorable.
Okay.
So let's get to the engagement.
Okay.
So then I'm going to actually, no, we talked on the phone.
I was going to say, I was going to read the text that Luke said me, but he called me.
And I was like, Luke's calling me.
I'm like, they're getting engaged.
Yeah, I knew right away.
Why else would he?
Yeah, I mean, because Blair, we've talked about it before where you guys are going to Paris soon.
Yeah, we're going to Paris, Amsterdam, and London in like three.
Two weeks?
Two weeks?
Oh my gosh, that's like the perfect.
Three weeks.
So I was convinced.
Way to celebrate me and engage.
I know.
So, but I was convinced it would happen there.
I was like, of course he's going to do it in Europe.
Like, it's so romantic.
Yeah.
All this stuff.
So I, like, I was just convinced.
You can ask everybody around me like they.
Oh, I knew.
You told me.
Yeah, I told you.
Like, I was like, oh, it's like, okay, Cleo even emailed her and Taylor emailed.
And they were like, hey, we want to do like a one year update.
Can y'all podcast next week?
And I was like, you know, I really think we should wait till it's actually our one year,
which is in like a month.
And I was like also between us girls like I think he's going to propose in Europe
So I was like so it'll be a better update if we wait and they were like oh my god and like they knew too
Yeah yeah yeah yeah everyone's probably like you but I love that I love that you didn't know and and so
When Luke called me he was like she thinks she totally thinks I'm going to do it in Europe and I was like oh that's so true
Yeah because you told me and then so he was like I have this whole plan um I mean you tell it I
yeah um yeah so when i called you i was like that was early august and like at that point i like
as i was going to philly um i talked to erin mercer um who was blair's friend she did all the
cord like pretty much helped me out with the coordination and everything like she crushed it
helped me a lot um so yeah i called her i was like hey this is the date i figured it out and then
the next day i called you and i was like hey this is what's happening yeah um i started screaming
Yeah.
And I gave you kind of like a base skeleton of what I thought I wanted the plan to be.
And it ended up being practically that plan.
Yeah. Like, and it fell through perfectly.
It was perfect.
Yeah.
And plus.
I couldn't imagine anything better.
Like, so, yeah.
So I got everything around.
Started reaching out to people, be like, hey, this is what's going to happen.
Keep this date open.
That's pretty much what it was.
Like September 27th.
Keep it open.
Yeah.
And then slowly but surely.
I just had started getting people around
letting them know slowly
had to be super super secretive
because she reads my mind and everything
I'm actually surprised
you didn't see it coming.
Okay and here's the thing
there has been like five things
probably that I have seen
but nothing gave away
when, where or how it would happen
like I saw like one day
he was like hey will you plug in
my address
like the address we were going to
Asheville for the weekend.
Yeah.
So I like open his ways and like two places down was like King Jewelers.
And I was like, I was like, oh shoot.
So I like didn't say anything.
And then like he had bought a car one day and like the other like another dealership we visited had
text like text and was like, hey guys, what are you all going to do?
And so I was like, what did you say to the dealership people?
And he like, he's like, I basically said what you told me to say.
So I like went to like it was like two messages from the top.
It was like just a phone number.
Yeah.
And so I was like, oh, this is them.
So I, like, clicked it to read what he said.
And all I saw at the top was maybe, like it said, like, maybe Elena, which is, like,
one of my best friends from college.
And I saw, like, Aaron Mercer has.
And I was like, nope, exit out.
Oh, good.
So I was like, okay.
So Aaron's helping with something.
Yeah.
But, like, nothing.
Like, there was so many times, like, and I never looked for anything because I wanted to
be completely surprised.
So I was like, I'm going to be so mad if I ruined this.
Right.
And, like, it was, like, so many things that I kept seeing.
And it would be like, no.
But, like, nothing.
Because, I mean, you guys have obviously talking.
about getting engaged.
Yeah, so I knew it was, like, one time we were cooking and I, like, screenshoted
the recipe, clicked his photos, like, the app.
Yeah.
And open popped clearly, like, a ring album.
Well, but I clicked out so fast.
All I saw was, like, Rose Gold, but I was like, I already knew that that's, like, he knows
that's what I want.
Right, because he had a Pinterest page.
Yeah, because he was on my Pinterest board.
Yeah.
But, yeah, like, so it's just, like, so many things.
And I'm honestly surprised, too, that I did.
I had zero ideas.
Yeah. You did a very good job at planning and keeping it like, you know, on the DL as much as you could.
Yeah. So you got all the friends and family together. People came from everywhere.
My best friends from home. Yeah. From college, like my family.
I got my family from up north to come down, which was amazing too. Because they all drove down actually, which is like a 12 hour hall down here.
Yeah, they did. That's so sweet. There was literally only like a few people that couldn't make it.
Right. Yeah. But other than that. And they were on FaceTime.
I couldn't believe I was even home for this I was like I know it worked out perfectly I was like this is meant to be I was like what did I say I was like please I was like first off please tell me you're here on the 27th of September and you like look and you're like I was like oh my gosh I am I was like yes yes I know like I mean I guess we'll talk about the actual proposal in a second but like as I was getting closer and started like noticing people it was like oh my god like that's my mom like that's this person and I was like Caitlin's here like this person and it was just like I just couldn't stop crying.
everybody like almost every in my life so perfect it was so perfect all right i'm actually going to do
an instagram story of the back of my wall you would laugh for how many pairs of sunglasses i have i can
never have enough sunglasses honestly the limit does not exist and it's always fun to be able to
pair sunglasses and styles with a new outfit or just something i wouldn't normally wear especially
in nashville where the sun is literally always out you guys visionaries jamie fox

Okay, so yeah so I got everything around
Talk to Aaron just like hey this is what my
plan is what do you think we can do make it better
And literally everything that happened last night
It was exactly high picture today
I went to the bridge twice two days
ago I went to look at it
figured out what I wanted to do
the photographer told me where to stand I practiced that
a little bit
huge shout out to flytographer because
he was John from flytographer
is amazing we've used him before
in Nashville like we've used him a couple times and he
like knew because you wanted to do it a little
bit later but he was like no this is
when the sunset this is when the lighting's good
this is when yeah magical
he was like I've done proposals there one other
time so I know exactly where he should stay
And, like, he knew it all.
Oh, he crushed it.
And he was amazing, too.
Like, he helped out.
And he was like, yeah, dude, this sounds like an awesome plan.
I'm totally in.
Yeah.
So I did one set by myself.
And then yesterday, my cousin, my sister and our best friend, Steph, they came with me.
And I showed him what I wanted.
Yeah.
Told him where I wanted our friend Dylan and Caroline to play.
Yeah.
Where to start.
Where to hide.
I wanted everyone to hide over in this other, like, look out.
Yeah.
And it just looked out.
Look out.
I did it.
And literally just worked.
Yeah.
I felt like I was in a movie, honestly, which is just like our whole entire relationship
feels like it's just been a movie.
Like, you can't make it.
Like, you can't.
I'm just like, even when people ask like, how do you meet?
I'm like, well, do you want to tell you?
Oh, his sister set us up.
Or do you want me to like go into detail?
And it was just like everything has felt like a dream.
And it was like last night literally felt like I was in.
a moot like it and my favorite part my favorite part was so you guys are walking up the bridge
and we're all waiting and we're hiding and we know the spot there's some girl doing like a
freaking 21st birthday photo shoot with like the most this is rude but obnoxious pink dress like
it was so bright she had like a hundred pink balloons and i'm gonna laugh if she's a vino oh my god
i hope not because i actually thought the dress was cute it was just very loud and the only reason
and I say obnoxious is because it was right in our photos,
which we're like saving for the engagement.
And we're like,
excuse me,
miss,
could you please like do your photos?
When we were walking up,
I noticed the balloons.
Like,
because we were just walking.
So,
okay.
Well,
I'll say that a second.
Yeah.
So yeah,
we were walking and I saw the balloons and I made a joke.
I was like,
I was like,
oh,
is this a surprise birthday party for me?
Like my birthday was two months ago.
Yeah.
It was like,
you wish it was your birthday.
I was like,
crap,
why this is like,
I was like,
who brought balloons?
That is not a,
the plan like why is this happening i like go up with a knife and just start stabbing all her balloons
this is blair and luke's day no one cares about your birthday oh my god okay if she is if i know
i'm gonna like send her a bunch of wine because i feel bad now let's talk about the day of
like date night like going like the day like yesterday yeah yeah like all went down okay yeah so
yesterday literally well did i plan date like did i say i wanted i said let's say let's
Let's do a date night.
You suggested Friday.
Yeah, I suggested Friday.
Yeah, because I was like, let's do a date night this weekend.
He's like, what about Friday?
And I was like, that's perfect.
Yeah.
Like me and my friends were all supposed to have a sleepover.
One of my six.
Like, we're supposed to have a sleepover.
Number party.
I love sleepovers.
Saturday night.
Yeah, I was, I'm actually sad.
I can't go anymore because we have all these plans this weekend.
But I was supposed to do that Saturday night, Sunday night, his friend Dylan, who sang has a show.
So I was like, yeah, Friday night.
Great.
And her roommate.
was out of Carrie Underwood concerts
which is like another undercover thing like
we're gonna hang out after this concert
and blah blah blah
so yeah so the day of
I'm getting ready I was not gonna lie
I was I was chill
I was chilling real hard
and then all of a sudden 4 p.m. hit
and I was like
I couldn't breathe
I was like
you could ask the people I was with
I was like dancing I was like
I need to do something
so I threw me through
that you like started getting like anxious
and then you like turned on music
and dance and you were like good
yeah
you just had to do a little dance
Good to go, no problems.
Yeah.
And then we got going, everyone.
Well, but you texted me.
I was at work and I was like, hey, do you know, or he texts me.
He was like, what are you wearing tonight?
And I was like, I'm going to wear this dress.
And I'm like, like, everything worked so perfectly because when I was getting ready for work,
I was like, ooh, maybe I wear this like these overalls with this.
It was like a patterned overall with like striped shirt under.
So it's kind of like when I'm busy.
Yeah.
Yeah, something like that.
No, but I was like...
Founder.
No, but it was like a cool, trendy outfit.
Yeah.
And then I ended up picking like just a cute sun dress.
And I was like, oh, wear this.
Like, and so I sent him a picture and I was like, I'm wearing this.
And he's like, oh, cute.
I love that dress.
And I was like, where should we go?
Oh, yeah.
This was like, I was starting to get so frustrated because there was a place called Bakersfield.
Oh, shoot.
I didn't text title boxing until them we couldn't.
can come sorry title boxing
yeah I plan for us to go to title boxing this
morning and he's like let's just go on Monday
and I was like no let's go Saturday and he's like
we really he's like I just want to
have a chill weekend and I was like we can chill
after we box and then
sorry title we will make up for it sorry
I was getting I'm engaged
if anyone's in Nashville wants a good workout go to title
sorry besides the point
but yeah so we were going to find a place I was like
Bakersfield like I know it's I needed a place by the bridge
yeah to get her to that point yeah yeah and I was like
Baker'sfield was good.
I was like, I want to try again.
She's like, no, I don't like it.
Yeah, because I'm like Bakersfield.
I like it.
She's not a taco person.
Yeah, not a taco person.
I like them, but it's just never my go-to.
Like, if everyone wants tacos, like, I'll get tacos.
Right.
But, you know, and we went there like three to eight nights ago.
So I was like, let's go somewhere different.
That was like a few days ago.
So then yesterday, I was like, have we decided where we're going?
And he's like, we're going to, what was it called?
The farm house.
The farm house.
Okay.
So I look it up and it's next door to Bakersfield.
I was like, is this a ploy to get me to Baker's feel?
I was like, yeah.
And he's like, no, but it looks really good.
Like, we should try it.
And I, like, looked at the menu and I was like, it's kind of, like, it's kind of expensive.
Like, I'm paying for movers next weekend.
Then I'm getting my hair done.
Yeah.
We're going to Europe.
I was like, maybe we should like not go somewhere so expensive.
And he's like, I want to go.
It's like, I'm paying my treat.
And I was like, fine.
We'll go.
Yeah.
You know, whatever.
And so then I'm like getting ready.
well first it was like 4.30 p.m.
And I had, I didn't have anything left to do at work.
And so I told my boss, I was like, we should go home.
And he's like, no, we're not going to rip the company off like that, which he never, he's
usually like, yeah, let's leave.
Yeah.
And so I was like, I was like, fine, I guess I'll just stay.
And I was like, whatever, like, we're going to dinner downtown.
I'll just stay till the end of the day.
Yeah.
We ended up going to Walgreens to get batteries because we had nothing to do.
So he was like, let's get these bullhorns to work.
And I was like, all right, let's go to get Walgreens and get batteries.
So I thought nothing of it.
And then I went in the bathroom, got ready.
And I was about to straighten my hair.
And I was like, oh, that's a lot of work.
And I was like, Luke loves my hair natural.
I'll just keep it natural.
Yeah.
And then, like, my coworkers were all sitting there kind of talking.
And somebody says something about makeup.
And I was like, I have no idea how to put on makeup.
And I was like, this is all I ever wear.
And my friend, my coworker McKenna, she was like, she's like, oh, can I put more, like, makeup on you?
And I was like, no, like, I don't really like myself with a lot of makeup.
and she's like, I'll just put a little bit of eye shadow.
She's like, I just need a break.
Like, I'm stressed at work.
Like, I just need like a 10 minute break.
And I was like, okay, fine.
Yeah.
We'll put on some more makeup.
Also, during the day, I decided to chip all the nail polish off of about four fingers.
So I've got like three fingers with nail polish, two without, some with half.
Yeah, but that I love that.
Yeah.
It's like, that's so, like, relatable.
And also, I had pressed on nails in my bag and your girlfriend had press on.
on nails in her bag for you.
And I literally made a joke to my boss
because they were like,
they were like,
what did you do to your nails?
And I was like,
yeah, let's hope Luke doesn't propose
on date night,
like joking.
And they all said that they were,
like, because they came to the proposal
and they said they were all like,
how do we get her to do?
Like my coworker was like,
I have nail polish if you want to borrow it.
And I was like,
nah, it's okay.
You don't know how many times
I've tried to like try to get people together.
Yeah.
But like, they were good about it
because they didn't want to press it.
Right.
Yeah.
Also, her nana has been on her
since like,
July. Hey, make sure your nails are done. You never know when it's going to happen.
Oh, my friend sent in on group text and was like, I want to treat myself,
so anyone want to get their nails done. And I was like, oh, like, sounds so fun, but I don't want
to spend the money because I'm going to get them done before Europe.
She's so set on Europe, which is great. Again, perfectly planned. Yes, I love that all this.
You're just no idea. No idea. So anyways, then he picks, okay, I guess we'll start with the actual
proposal. Yeah, so I get there. I'm at Wells Coffee right next to her.
We were giving so many natural places shoutouts.
I love this.
Everybody have your pen and papers out, write it down.
These are great places.
Yeah, great places.
And I was like, hey, I'm going to Uber.
She's like, oh, no, I thought I was going to come pick you up.
I'm like, no, I wasn't on my way.
I was next door.
I was like, no, I'm on my way already.
Yeah.
I was like, okay, I mean, that's a waste of money.
Look at you, you little budgeter.
Seriously, she tried to budget everything out.
I was like, stop, please.
Stop, please.
So, yeah, I get there.
I pick her up to CMT.
I have the ring in the back.
of my belt. It wasn't in my pocket because
I had my pants. That scared me by the way that
it was just like in your belt loop. Yeah
my pants. I practice like I
I practiced like I jumped around. I walked around
for a while. He said he practiced how he was going to
hug me to make sure I didn't like touch it.
Yeah. I came under her arm
so she had to wrap around my neck. I held her right
yeah. But yeah so like I put it in my
belt loop. It worked out great but we were walking
down and I was chill. I felt good.
Yeah. Going the whole way down. We got
down town closer to
the bridge once we got closer to bridge i was like how am i going to get her to the bridge
and i was like we have reservations at seven so we have time to spare usually we just go and get a
drink at the bar maybe get early um yeah because he was our reservation he's like oh we're a little
early and i was like we can just it was like six 15 yeah reservation was at seven and i was like
well let's just i was like we can go to baker's field and get a drink before because i love their
margaritas yeah great margaritas and i was like or i was like we can just go like though i'm sure
they'll give us a table i was like yeah let's just walk around thank goodness i was not hungry because
He was like, let's just walk around for a little bit.
And I had just eaten an entire box of Mike and Ike.
So I wasn't hungry.
I didn't know that.
Yeah, so luckily I wasn't hungry.
So I was like, okay, fine, we can walk around.
And then he just, like, pulls me and we take a hard left to the pedestrian bridge.
And, like, of course.
Which is where you gave him your final due.
Yeah.
So, full circle.
Full circle.
So, of course, like, in the back of my mind, it's kind of, like, but I feel like any time, like, even when we went to Chattano for my birthday weekend, it was like,
would he propose but like but still it's like no he's yeah yeah yeah and so we like start walking
on the pedestrian bridge and I was like I was like this is and I was like no and I'm like kind of
get a little start walking and then he starts talking faster I talked way too much I just wanted her
to focus on me because Dylan and Caroline were in the cut like in the so Dylan and Caroline were
your friends who play guitar and sing and they were singing you're the one that I want yeah so
They have this.
They have a cover.
It's on Spotify.
Go listen to it.
It'll change your life.
It will change.
It's so good.
And I've like as soon as I heard it for the first time, Greece is like my all time
favorite movie.
And so I was like, this is amazing.
So me and Luke listened to it all the time.
Like one time the conversation, he was like, have you ever thought about like
what we would dance to for like our first dance?
And I was like, honestly, I thought about like you're the one that I want.
He's like, oh my gosh, yeah, because like we just listen to it all the time.
It's so sweet, like all this stuff.
So they start playing it while you guys start walking.
And flightographers, they're doing photos.
So you're trying to get her to pay attention to you so she's not.
Right.
Yeah, because we're walking and he's talking really fast.
And I was like, he's being.
And like, yeah.
Yeah, I was like, he's really like talking quick.
He kept readjusting his hand.
Like I was like some.
So, but I was like, no.
Your hand's clammy.
I'm like, babe, it's 100 degrees and 100% humidity.
It was hot.
But I was still just like, there's.
no way that he's about to propose to me like there's no way and then i see like random photographer
just like kind of pacing and i was like people do photos shoot there i mean there was like three other
photographers taking pictures on the bridge i was just like no and then we're walking and then all of a
sudden i hear i got chills and i was like and i turn around see dylan and caroline's like walking
behind us singing and i just like lost it right now this is exactly i got chills yeah i like they
saying I got chills and like I got chills
I had chills the whole time oh my god I said
you right now they like hurt look at my goosebumps
I'm like dying right now
because it's just and they did it in the
perfect way where they were just like their energy
behind you and they were just feeling it
and singing and walking behind you guys
are walking middle of the pedestrian bridge
which is so beautiful nobody else
like there was people but there wasn't
like it felt like it was the sky was pink
the bridge was just like lit up
it was oh yeah
so we're just like walking
I'm like I looked at Luke and I was like I was like oh my god you're like oh you're doing it like
she literally like so it happened she looked back and she then she literally like is this happening
like my nails aren't done yeah I did say that I said my nana's gonna kill me and so I'm just like
crying and then I turn back around and I see a group of like 25 people I don't maybe more like lined
across the bridge and I was I like look at Luke and I was like do I know those people? I was like I can't
see and I was like do I know them and he's like yeah you know them and I was like oh my gosh and I'm
just like crying and then as I got closer like the first person I noticed was my mom and I was like
somebody said that I literally was like that's my mom and then it was like I noticed like I noticed
like my friend Elena and Nate like they were standing there and then I noticed like Allie and
And then I noticed my friend, Jessica, and I noticed his sister.
And so I just, like, realized, like, these are all my people.
Yeah.
Like, and, and then, what, like, he tried to twirl me, but I was just, like, couldn't move.
She, like, could barely walk or talk.
I'm telling you from, because I was standing with the group.
We were all holding signs, like, and we were all singing with.
Yeah, the last chorus, everyone started singing.
And it was just perfect because you guys didn't rush.
You weren't like, oh, let's get to them.
You really, like, I don't know if you even know you did this, but you guys.
were just like enjoying every moment of walking and crying and holding hands and kissing
and you kept kissing around the forehead, I'm going to cry.
Really?
I don't even heard that.
And they were just singing behind you and the photographer and I'm just like, he is getting
pure gold right now.
Like these photos are going to be everything.
See, but I feel like my face was probably, I'm an ugly cry and I feel like my face is
going to be so bad.
But you want those.
You want those.
You were laughing and crying and like it was just pure emotion.
And we were all just like crying and trying to sing.
Ah, ha.
it's so funny everyone has sent me like videos from the iPhone and they're like you're the one
that I want like everyone's like right next to their microphone and it's hilarious but yeah so you
so you came down yeah we're all saying there then I mean Sarah your sister was very specific
about how we lined up and she did great she did great and then we did like a little you shape
around you guys we made sure nobody was standing in the spot where you were it was the perfect
proposal spot like Nashville background yeah right there the skyline it looks
the pics, it looks fake.
It looks face.
Like, it literally looks like a photo shop.
Like, thank God it wasn't pouring rain.
Everything was perfect.
Yeah.
We couldn't hear you, which I like because, first of all, I was like, oh, he's miced up because I'm thinking it's the show still.
I'm like, no, he's not.
We'll hear it.
But I loved that you guys had that moment, you know.
So what do you say?
Yeah.
I only remember, like, bits and pieces of it, honestly.
I mean, I practiced it.
And they had, like, a lot.
But it, like, pretty much I got most of what I wanted is just more of the sense.
just like I'm so happy we have everyone here yeah that we love that everyone's in the moment
and I literally looked at everyone. Oh yeah you did you said look at everyone who's here and you
looked and you're like oh my God I know I mean it's kind of yeah he just pretty much just like
this is where we're at like we've never saw this coming like yeah and we're here right now
and I want to wake up to you every morning we go to sleep every night next year like God has
this plan for us I'm excited to see like who can literally paint what we've gone through
to get to where we are right now.
Yeah.
You guys have a beautiful story.
Yeah.
There's like no way.
Like anyone could write this down.
Yeah.
Like it's like out of our control, but it's just like incredible.
Yeah.
And then I was like, oh yeah.
And then like once I got down on one knee, I was like, you're my everything.
And I was like, so Blair, I was like, well, you accept this final due.
Yeah.
It was.
It was.
Oh, that makes me so happy.
Yeah.
He said, will you, did you not know that?
I did.
I heard it.
But I just went to it.
It's like, will you accept my final due and will you marry me?
Yeah, so we got to tell people, though, KB got a custom-made do-ring.
We'll post a picture of it.
Yeah, it's amazing.
And so he opens the box, and I see it was the do ring.
So it's like scrunchy material.
Yeah, it's literally the do.
There's a tag on it.
Yeah.
Like, it's incredible.
Yeah.
So he's like, well, you accept this final due?
And then he was like, and will you marry me?
And then he showed me the actual ring.
And I just.
It's gorgeous.
It's so pretty.
Like, it's gorgeous.
I, yeah.
like I just love that he made it his own
I could have never like because I just said
I want a circle diamond rose gold
everything else like if there's diamonds on the band
no diamonds on the band
Halo no Halo like and he
it has like a twist like it's
stunning amazing I can't wait until you like just
like post any photo of like you guys at the ring
or that moment like it's in a picture last night
yeah but of like the moment
I can't wait for like when he got down on one knee
and you were just like I know I'm waiting for like
the flytographer
pictures for that because this one was so cute like with the background but I was like you know I was like
he's going to have the best picture so I'm going to wait yeah but well that picture was still so cute
but oh my gosh I can't believe it and then we all popped champagne on the bridge and it was just
it was just so perfect it was it really was and then it was like I was like saying hey to everyone
and I was like how long's everyone here for and everyone's like we're here the whole weekend so it's like
not only did we just get engaged but like I have all my best friends and family here
for the entire weekend to just like spend time with which has like literally i was like
almost every single one of my girl best friends are here which isn't going to happen and i was
like should we go dress shopping like should i ask them to be my bridesmaids like what is this
going to happen and then i was like no blare calm down like just enjoy it so when are you
going to ask them to be a bridesmaids like how many bridesmaids are you going to have oh i don't know
it's a struggle i mean you don't have to figure that out i'm falling suit whatever she has yeah yeah
It's a struggle because I want, like, it's one of those things where it's like, I want everybody who I want to be next to me in the wedding.
Yeah.
But then I, but then it's like, but I don't want to have like 10.
I know.
Like, I mean, I do want to have them involved in other ways.
I know.
It's just, yeah.
I haven't figured it out.
Yeah.
You don't have to yet.
I don't want to hurt feelings because it's like there's so many people that I'm like, you literally mean so much to me.
But I can't have 28 bridesnates.
Yeah.
Well, you can just, you can.
you can have like 28 nice little letters to people saying like I don't want to
hear your feelings but I need you know come to my bachelor party yeah let's get crumb let's get
crook yolo yolo guys let's get lit at my batch party somebody commented I haven't like gone through
all my comments but I've like like occasionally because they were just like popping up so every
now and then I would like see one yeah somebody commented it was like oh what was it was so cute it was
like the first person ever to have
5,000
bridesmaids or something like talking about all the
vinos. I know. It was so cute.
And I was like, of course you're all my
bridesmaids. Oh my gosh. I should do
when you guys get married. I'll do like a Facebook
live so that they're there.
I'll just like set it up on a chair.
Yeah, you're going to come. And they can well duh.
Of course I'm going to come there. What are you think I'm just going to
like stay home for your engagement and then not come to your wedding?
True. Of course I'll be there. When is it? Do you guys have a date?
Oh my God. Maybe.
You do what?
No, I'm just kidding.
Okay.
I think you do, but you can keep that to yourselves.
You can keep it to yourselves.
No, we have an idea.
Okay.
You don't have to share.
We haven't started, like, planning, obviously.
And when you can have a baby?
Just kidding.
Five years.
Just kidding.
Yeah, probably like five.
Approximately 17 years.
Yeah, five years is great.
I'd be 30.
Yeah, that's perfect.
And if you're 34 and still don't have babies, it's okay.
It is.
Heck yeah, girl.
Heck yeah.

Okay, well, let's play a little newly engaged game.
Okay.
I know we played the newlywed game like ish last time.
Was it newlywed or newly day?
Newly dating.
I don't remember.
I'm like, and maybe I'll ask you the same questions.
I don't remember.
But, okay, what, okay, I'm going to ask one to Luke and then one to Blair and then you guys can go back and forth.
Okay.
What, Luke, what would you say is Blair's most irritating habit?
Oh, when she is my passenger in the car.
Oh, that's Jason's for me too.
Oh, my word.
Love this girl to death.
Yeah, but backseat driver.
Whoa.
Yeah.
Okay.
Okay, but can I just say, I'm like that with everybody.
I think I have an irrational fear
of getting in a car accident
me too which is fair
and so like even the other day
it was like it's not that I don't trust him
it's that I don't trust other drivers
because like he started to merge
and an 18 wheeler started to merge too
and I was like I was like look look look
and so he like got over
I saw it yeah
no you didn't
you didn't
because you were like where did that guy come from
you didn't see him
and so
I have the same irrational fear
the thing I'm like that's why I say things
because even if you did see him like I'd rather
be annoying and be like
they watch out then like not say anything
and then we crash yeah it's
the biggest ones
that's a good one okay yeah that's fair I'll give that one
but it's the one where it's like a hundred
yards away and someone puts the brake on
she's like
like arms against the walls
oh you act like it's happening
it's happening yeah I'm like I look at her
with my eyes wide open like what are you doing
like can you not
So, it's just my reaction.
And then I'm like, like, what?
Like, I'm like, pushing on.
It's just a natural instinct.
Because so many times it's like, it's like natural.
And I like reach up, but then I realized so I just like scratch my head casually like, I wasn't, like, I noticed it.
I wasn't doing anything.
And he's like, he looks at me and I'm like, what?
I was scratching my head.
That's so funny.
I do the same things.
And that's Jason's biggest pet peeve with me as well.
It's so I understand you, Blair, because I have the same fear.
And I freak out all the time.
I'm just trying.
to live a long life and also Jason's well he's gonna go get a vehicle any day now
because he just picked it out but he so when it's in my Jeep I'm like well you're driving my car
so I'm just trying to be careful with it drive it like it's yours yeah league just got a new car so my car
I'm like crash it let's get a new car but just like a nice crash where like you know yeah no just
enough to total yeah where you we're all safe like like where you get out you get out of the car and
just you're not even in it and a big truck just
smashes into it and then the guy in the other truck
is totally fine but your car isn't. Yeah my car's
totaled and it's like everyone's good
but gonna need a new vehicle
okay Blair
what word best describes your spouse
first thing in the morning? My spouse
oh shit that's what your future spouse
I was reading the question
what describes him what? What
word best describes Luke first thing in the morning
first thing in the morning
one word to describe them I would say
gentle.
Like he always like
I thought you were going to be like smelly.
Gentle, that's so cute.
Like because I feel like if we ever have a sleepover
like he like everything first thing in the morning
he always just like leans over and kisses me
whether it's like my shoulder or my cheek
or my forehead or my lips and then he just like
grabs me like he's just very it's just like a peaceful
sweet thing. So you guys do spend
the night with each other. Every now and then.
Oh, that's good.
You have sleepovers.
Yeah, we have sleepovers.
That's totally fine.
I mean, in my opinion, I'm like, yeah, get it.
Okay, this.
We have PG sleepovers.
This could lead into a confession, but what, Luke, what is the most embarrassing thing
that you have ever done around your spouse?
I'm just going to go with it.
Spouse, yeah.
Spouse to be.
I've ever done?
Yeah.
Or if you can think of something embarrassing, Blair said, but I don't think you can
embarrass her.
No.
Yeah.
Blair, can you think of something he's done?
You might be able to think of something more.
No.
I feel like we're the same way that like we don't get embarrassed at things.
Yeah.
Around each other for sure.
So you don't have a confession is what you're saying.
Oh, I wasn't prepared for a confession.
Well, hello.
You knew you were coming on this podcast.
I know.
I forgot.
Okay.
I don't know.
Okay.
I'll think about it.
But we can circle back.
And if you can't give anything.
Yeah, we'll circle back.
We're not fine.
I'm trying to think you.
Okay.
Well, then I'll ask you another one.
If Blair could wear one of your clothing items, what would it be?
I mean, she...
I have worn his clothing items.
Okay, what is her...
Okay, jeans?
Yeah.
So, no, let me tell you.
My boyfriend, the boyfriend, Gene.
Oh, yes.
So we had done something that night, and it was like 11.30 p.m.
And I was like, I really just don't want to, like, drive home right now.
So I ended up staying at his place.
and I had worn like a white tank top with these like rainbow shorts yeah to work okay so I was like
I can't wear these shorts again everybody's gonna notice like they're not just like jeans you know
so I borrowed a pair of his jeans that were very like really big on myself yeah and used the um
the like yeah it's like a belt but it's like a scarf belt yeah like a tie belt yeah from
my shorts. It was like rainbow. I used that
to tie his jeans
because it was so big. So it actually kind of looked
like chicy like
She made it work. Yeah, I made it work. Yeah, boyfriend jean chic. Yeah, boyfriend
Jean Sheik. That's, I remember
I let go. There's a show called The Bold Type and they always
talk, they were like, it's not the walk of shame. It's the stride
of pride. They were like, let's make it a stride of pride. And she would
do that in the show like she would take, like she would like make her outfit look
completely different than the day before.
I love that.
I felt.
I felt like I was doing that.
Doing the stride of pride.
The stride of pride.
My first boyfriend ever.
The butt was so saggy.
Always used a shoelace to tie his jeans.
Really?
Always.
It was his thing.
Like that he always just, he, because he was a skateboarder.
That sounds about right.
And he would just like wear his pants super low and he'd always use shoe laces as a belt.
It was like his thing.
Oh, Travis.
Hi.
Shout out.
Shout out to Travis Stanger.
He was such a good one.
the one that got away
the one that got away
I say that about every
like
I have so many ex-boyfriends
if you think about it
but I'm always like
like when Jared and Ashley got married
I was like the one that got away
that's awesome
okay
when Luke was 13 years old
what did he want to be
when he grew up
ooh
I don't even know what I wanted to do
I don't even know the answer to that
yeah
well he didn't play music at the time
so I don't think he wanted to be a musician
Um, what did you don't even know?
When did you decide you want to be a nurse?
Like, right before college, right?
I was in high school.
Yeah.
Really?
Yeah.
I was a junior.
Yeah, when I finally figured I was a junior in high school to be a nurse.
What do you want to be before you were a nurse?
I knew when I was younger.
I wanted to be a butler.
I'm not even kidding.
Okay, hilarious.
You guys just learned to be new about each other.
Literally, if you ask my parents, like, they'll be like, yeah, he's like, for some reason,
wanted to be a butler like i don't know that is i don't know how old i was maybe i was 13 but
so a butler i didn't know that that's very cute um funny story to help people i don't know
maybe that's yeah that makes sense yeah um funny cute little story about what do you want to be when
you grow up yeah so luke's uh niece vivian just what did she's pre-k yeah she started
started preschool and his sister said that the teacher told sarah she was like vivian had the
best answer for what do you want to be when you grow up they said what do you want to be when you
grow up and she said i just want to take a nap i was like yes vivian yes me too speak to me yeah wow
spirit she already knows how to adult and she's like three that's so funny because usually
three-year-olds don't want to nap so she already knew her passion for now she was like i'm taking
full advantage of these i feel that yeah i love it yeah i really feel that one that's amazing um okay
Last two questions.
Okay.
I want to pick a good one.
Okay.
Okay.
Who did I just ask last?
Me, what you wanted to be?
Okay.
Luke, what would you say Blair's greatest strength would be?
Greatest strength.
For me, it's just like your compassion and love.
Yeah.
It's like honestly, like every, I feel loved every single second of each day.
That's so sweet.
Yeah, like just being able to know like I'm.
She's always there and will always love me and be there for me.
Like waking up each morning makes it a lot better.
Yeah. Oh my God. That like inspires me.
I like wake up and I'm like probably such a bitch.
I feel like I wake up and I think about like negative things.
And then I get more positive as the day goes on.
I'm just not a morning person.
You're like, let me get coffee and then I'll love you.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I just need to like get through the first hour.
Oh, that's really sweet.
That's like all you could ever ask for.
But I feel like it's the same.
same like yeah like vice versa yeah like there's never like a net a second that's ever gone by
where I'm like he he doesn't love me well yeah like he always just like you guys remind me are like
so secure with each other yeah because because you show your love yeah you don't hold back
no we know you guys are the freaking cutest oh my gosh okay I can't believe we're engaged
that's crazy I can no I mean I can but like it's just no I can it has it has
like hit me like I have to get my ring resize because it's too big yeah I guess I told him
a size that I'm much smaller then yeah um so I feel like once I actually like can wear the ring
and like just it'll maybe like feel more like like when I see it but like right now I just look down
and I see this giant do ring on my finger and I'm like I'm like please please don't ever take that
all I feel like people we're on the other finger okay I feel like last night when we went out
people probably were like is this fake like because I'm like oh we just got engaged and I'm wearing like
a scrunchy ring and they're like oh they're in love but he's poor
he can't afford a real ring yeah you're like wearing an onion ring
on your hair
okay last one
wait I already forget who I just asked
oh yeah okay Blair
what is the one thing that Luke cannot resist
doing
oh one thing he can't resist
doing
Hmm
He knows
Do you?
I mean
I don't know
I don't know
I don't know
Maybe
Like I'm trying to think
Like
I mean I can't resist
Kissing you
I was hoping
You were to say something cute like that
He can't resist loving me
Um
There there's your
That you should write a song about that
There we go
I can resist loving you
That's a good song
Um
I'm trying to think of something like quirky or like funny like that he
I know you're so much
I don't know
he can't resist
and I don't even know myself I guess because I can't even answer this
going going a day without wearing a do on your wrist which I really
He literally wears it
Every time I go out I have it on
I love that so much Jason saw that and he was like you're making me look bad
Yeah I know
I'm like hey why don't you wear a do every day
Why can you not resist do
like is there some habit that you have that you always do you can't resist like that's what i'm
trying to like think i feel like it's like at the tip of my tongue like something i mean if you if you can
find it because i can't i know i'm trying to think of like any example too like yeah what can i
not resist doing i can't resist hitting the snooze button every morning what i feel like he
what do you do like oh gosh there's something he does that i that i feel like i'm always like stop
probably but it's like in a cute like a funny right yeah okay well i don't know that's okay
and can we talk about your shirts yes my friend jessica brought these for us they say the one where
we got engaged the one where we got engaged and it's like the friends font yeah it's perfect i love
that so much we wore them out last night because we went to a pottery uh night where it was all
friends theme and it's like oh my god amazing i did like instead of i'll be there for you i
a beer mug. I said, I'll be beer for you.
And then she did, uh, like,
flirt like. Yeah, it was like flirt like
Joey, cook like Monica.
It's like, or I don't know.
So we've been very friends theme recently.
I love that. And Jessica was like
literally yesterday you post, or like
yesterday she told me, she's like today you posted
the picture of y'all at the friends thing and said he's my
lobster. And she and like she had
these shirts for us. Oh my God.
Yeah. You are
you're each other's lobsters. Wait,
one last thing before we go. Tell us what
You told Dylan the guitar player.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Before he started, he knew this was obviously happening.
Yeah.
And you didn't, so.
He, he had messaged, he had messaged me on Instagram and sent, he has a show tomorrow.
What's today?
Yeah, he has a show tomorrow night.
And he was like, hey, have you and Luke seen this?
And I was like, I was like, duh, we already bought tickets.
And I was like, number one fans.
And he was like, sweet.
Like, it's going to be so fun.
And I was like, can I request you're the one that I want?
And he was like, I'll see what I, or he's like, I can probably make that happen.
And so I literally, I was like, yes.
And then I had typed up, um, just needing, I just need you to practice so you can play it
at Luke, me and Luke's wedding.
And so I showed Luke and I was like, can I send this to Dylan?
And he's like, no, don't say that.
And I was like, why?
Like, and he's like, he's like, just, he's like, we'll, we'll mention it like later on to him.
And I was like, I'm just trying to plant the seed, Luke.
Plant the seed.
And so then it was.
It's just so funny.
Yeah.
So, like, because I've just always, like, that's been one of our songs.
And so then literally when we're on the pedestrian bridge and I just heard the first line, I just, like, melted and then, like, do I have permission to post that on off the vine page?
Yeah.
Because I'm like, I don't want to, like, take anything away if you want to post it first or you know what I mean.
No, you can post whatever.
Post all the things.
Okay, great.
Okay.
Yeah, because I'm going to post all my story today.
Yeah.
I know so many people because they saw Bailey.
You sent Bailey a video.
Uh-huh.
And she, she posted and was like.
crying at this engagement video and so many people are like wait where's the video I haven't seen
a video and I'm yeah but I was like do I want to wait and like see if like once we get like all
the professional pictures and like his friend videoed stuff and I'm like should I wait should I
go ahead and show people like but I'll probably honestly you can post stuff today and okay I'm going
to yeah because I feel like people need to see it what yeah they do we not I'll talk about later
what I don't know when this comes out okay I was gonna ask um well I just love you both and I'm just so
happy for you guys and i'm just so glad i got to be for that well it's all me and and luke sister
