Podcast One presents Off the Vine Grape Therapy.
Caitlin Bristow is going to answer your question.
Drink to your confessions and hear what you have to say about anything Bachelor.
Let's shake it up some more.
Here's Caitlin.
Welcome to Grape Therapy.
I'm your host, Caitlin Bristow.
your session? Yeah, it's starting right now. My other boyfriend, Lowe, is with me today.
Never any Lowe's in my life when Lowe is around. I mean, I knew recap me in this week,
Paradise Drama would be, like, funny with him, but I did not think it would be this. Yes, I did. Yes,
I did. I always laugh until I, like, pee, and I think I have to reapply my spray tan because I have
some streaks coming down my face from Laughing Soard. Beyond Paradise shenanigans, I get to talk with my
style guru Lowe, all about the first ever do apparel ever.
edit. You heard me right. Mom was bringing you some too comfy apparel to complete your life.
Literally, the sweatsuit says too comfy. I mean, you have your scrunchy to tie your locks back.
You got your spade and sparrows to sip-d-sip on. Now you have your outfit to chill in or just
kill it in because shit's comfy. They be cute. Very versatile for lounging on the couch
while watching The Bachelor, Bachelorette, Paradise, maybe going for brunch, doing your daily errands.
Or may I say a sassy little boat cruise with your BFFs?
It's perfect.
While I'm beyond excited, there is one thing I really do want to say.
Apparel is a whole new ballgame for due.
And with that comes obviously natural hiccups and just want to be super transparent that it really isn't the sizing we had hoped for.
But it's true to size until it gets to, I don't know, I think double XL.
I mean, you live and you learn.
That's part of owning a business.
But back to the drawing board to figure out the world of sizing, which makes zero sense.
and is so inconsistent.
I don't even like sizing.
But anyways, we've got this on our priority list for the future apparel.
I wear extra small and it fits pretty true to size.
Some people like it oversized.
But anyways, let's hear what Lowe has to say about the storms brewing on the beaches of paradise,
as well as the color choice and thread count on my new apparel line.
And friendly reminder to pee before you listen or you will find yourself being your old pantaloons at some point, I'm sure of it.
Here we go.
Welcome to Off the Vine.
Are you wearing a scrunchy on your wrist?
Oh, it's a Fitbit.
Damn it.
Damn it. I,
Miss Branding opportunity.
I should have your scrunchy on.
I'm drinking your wine.
I have that.
I got.
Yeah.
I know.
It's so tacky.
I put it in a little,
my favorite little mug.
It's my lucky podcasting off the vine mug.
Yeah,
it's your little chip cup and it's so cute.
And it's huge.
It is, yeah,
that's a heavy pour today.
Can I tell you something?
Yeah.
It says night two that I haven't had a drink.
I don't feel right, podcasting with you, not having a glass of wine, but this Bachelor
filming life, I'm like, well, might as well just have a glass of wine and I don't know, I'm just
Did you feel like it was becoming a problem?
Like, even if I didn't feel like having a glass of wine, I would be like, well, I'm bored
and I'm lonely and I'll like, it'll help me relax, so I'll have a glass.
I miss you so much.
I have so much to tell you.
I haven't spoken to you.
I think it's been two weeks, which feels like two years.
for us.
Yeah, that's true.
Wait, that's so sad.
I know that we've gone two weeks.
I mean, we'll text or throw a little, you know, on the gram and stuff, but like actually
FaceTiming, it's been, it's been two weeks, which has been tough.
So wait, what's new?
What do you have to tell me?
So much.
Record shit, on the record shit.
Well, a little bit of both.
But here with the vinos, we just let it all hang out, don't we?
No, I'm not wearing a bra.
We're just, everything's hanging out.
The truths are being told.
The truth serum is in the wine.
water tonight. So, well, I've been babysitting. I have, oh, he'll be here. You'll hear him at some
point. Little Tucker, who I know the name's triggering because rest in peace, little, I know,
but I have my best friend Max has a dog named Tucker who's this rescue, but he's so cute. And he's like a
little, I don't know, a Shih Tzu mixed with a Terrier with a splash of Yorkie. God knows what
he is, but he's just perfect. Yeah. And he's so sweet. So I've been babysitting him, which that's great
because I, you know, I've been missing Duky so much my, my little pug.
Well, the listeners know, for those who don't, little Duky, Pug passed away in April.
And Caitlin has been my therapist.
Oh, I don't know if I was much with a therapist.
I was like, bawling my eyes out with you for you, like being like, I'll die when it happens to me.
I don't know if I was a therapist.
My favorite part about that entire grieving process was, I think it was like not even 24 hours after
it happened and I get a box in the mail from you and I'm like oh my gosh like who knows what she's sent but so thoughtful and sweet you had something expedited right away over to my place and and you go it's just a small little something that you can just keep on your bedside table to remember your little angel I said oh it's sweet I opened it up it's this massive tombstone the size of like a serving plate at a restaurant like not even just like a dinner plate like a huge serving plate like a huge serving plate
It's a tombstone.
And he thought it was going to be like a skipping rock.
Yeah, just a subtle little rock to put in the garden.
And I was like, we're a tombstone.
Oh my God.
I'm so sorry.
No, it was the funniest thing.
Just like slapping it in your face.
God.
No, it's in the garden.
But it's like, it's a monument to Duky.
We have it in that, yeah, right there.
It's all four feet of it.
So no.
Love it.
So I've been watching Little Tucker and that's been a great distraction.
but what I was going to tell you was I've been also watching my little goddaughter, my little niece, Lola.
Her name's Lola.
It is, well, her birth name is Madeline, and which I do love the name, Madeline, any Madeline's listening.
That's a fantastic name.
But you know what?
In this house, when she's with her uncle Lowe, she's a Lola.
That's hilarious.
Her name is actually Madeline, but you call her Lola.
I love that.
That's really sweet.
Can I be a Lola?
No, there's only one.
There's one these days.
And, yeah, and she's my little baby.
And I asked the parents, I'm like, are you, are you guys okay with me changing your baby's name legally?
And they said, not legally, but anytime she's in California, because she lives in Montana.
So the parents needed a little bit of a break.
And I love, well, here's the thing.
This is what I was going to tell you.
What?
Well.
I'm pregnant.
I'm pregnant.
That's why I'm glowing.
Yeah.
I do it.
I am.
Three months.
So I've been watching her.
But the thing is, I remember when I first got her, this was like four months in.
And she was this cute little baby, like a loaf of bread with a smile on her face.
Just really, like there wasn't much to her.
She was just, you know, didn't really cry much either.
She was just a little angel baby.
So, yeah.
I mean, and I know, like, super fortunate to have a baby that's not crying all the time.
Anytime she did cry, it was just because she had a little poopy in her diaper or she needed, you know, she needed to burp up.
She had a little indigestion, just like her, like her daddy.
I know. I'm like her dad. I'm not her dad. Her godfather. Just taking the world.
You're like brushing up like bedobismal. Here, take us.
Giving her a little morning Adderall.
Yeah. A little picnic.
Sure. So I've been watching her and I loved it when she was like three months. And then her parents were like, okay, we're going to do another trip.
Did you watch Lola? And you're more than welcome to have her as long as you'd like, we're going to be gone for two weeks.
And I was like, I'll take the full time. I'll take her. And you know, the great.
grandma could watch or the aunt like there's other people in the family that love her took a child for two
weeks in sure did sure freaking did a solo mission and how old is she now nine months that's a big job
yeah really though didn't realize it would be i mean i've read parenting books you know i'm definitely
going down the rabbit hole and brushing up on my parenting skills because all i've raised so far is a
a very healthy happy pug and then the occasional niece and nephew that i don't really care to see much
because I'm not close to him.
You know, like, I didn't bond.
They ain't no loolas.
But this one, right?
When fresh out of the Vigene, boom, I was there loving her and just bonding with
this little baby.
So I just feel very connected to her.
But the other ones I didn't meet with like they were older.
So it's just different.
Anyway.
So I've been watching her.
And here's the thing.
It is, it is really tough.
And to all my parents out there listening, if you're a mom.
Yeah.
First of all, I just, yeah, I want to bow down.
And I just owe you an apology because I was that person.
Like,
At a restaurant, if I heard the baby crying, I'm like, okay, look at the bad parents at table number seven.
Give up an iPad for God's sakes.
Yeah.
And like, I kind of, you know, subconsciously was kind of like, oh, my God, like their baby's crying.
Like, they should be prepared for all things so the baby doesn't cry or whatever.
No, no.
So jokes on me because this little monster, this little demon baby.
The local bread turned into a demon.
She sure did.
She's usually a complete angel, and I have to say, like, she only had her meltdown moments at, like, a cheesecake factory and, like, a couple other restaurants, but most of the time she was great.
That's why I was surprised.
But all the parents, they were mommy shaming me, and I'm there at my table, and people are looking at me.
Like, now I'm the bad parent.
I'm like, I get it.
But I had the fake teat on and I, with the bottle through it, and I was feeding her with my prosthetic breast.
Oh, yeah.
I went all in.
Amazon, 80 bucks.
How did I not see any of this?
Did you post that?
Did you get shame for that, too?
No, I was, people love that.
They're like, good for you.
Now back to Off the Vine Grape Therapy.
You're like keeping a child alive and you're getting hated on.
And then like Demi is like saying she's going to steal everybody's men.
And then Tammy's making out with Aaron's worst enemy in front of him.
And people are like, go get it.
Girl. No, wait, are they? Oh, my God. Incredible, like, way to transition as a host. Can I just say?
Do you like that?
I just, it's, I was like, oh, she's steering that ship. Here we are on the Titanic. I'm going down with it. Yeah. Okay. Let's do it.
Let's talk about the elephant in the room. We're talking Paradise. It was the first time I've watched it.
Oh, my, Kate, I honestly, I'm so excited to hear your opinion because I feel like it's a show you,
would actually get down with two things that we're going to obviously talk about my first do apparel
launch which is available now which is you're my freaking guru so I can't wait to hear all of your
thoughts you have the sweaty sweatpants right oh in the hootie yeah and I love that you went
with like this charqually gray black color it's so pretty don't you love it yeah very chic
I love vintage wash vintage wash I love it I love it all so much and then obviously we're
going to talk about the drama that's gone down on the beaches but I mean I'm just so
selfish right now because all I want to do is talk about my apparel. Yeah. No. Well, I mean, being that I'm a new mom over here, I do enjoy a nice comfy set.
Okay. Yes. You're a new mom. So you can't, you don't just always want to talk like a baby stuff because. Yeah. I want to take time for me too some days. And I can do that with do. Yeah. And you can do that with your comfy new sweatsuit from the day. Anyways, it's just it's a big deal for me to hear what you think because it's been such a long time coming. Yeah.
Because I've worked on it for like a year and it was harder than I thought it was going to be.
So please just tell me how frigging comfy that material is and what your thoughts are.
Okay. So soft. I love it. Love that like the gray on gray. It's like subtle. We're branding,
but I'm not a poster board. You know what I mean? I appreciate that. Yeah. It's not in your face,
but it's subtle and it says a lot about our confidence over it. Do. Yeah. And well, and I will say,
I, so I'm usually a size large.
I like in my, in my sweatshirts and stuff, I wear a size large, but I'm just sizing-wise at
the do company.
I think it runs a little, well, I don't know if it runs small, but, but I ended up getting,
it does run small.
Yeah.
Well, this set that I got because this is a 2x.
And, and I was like, 2x, I'm going to be like swimming in that.
But just like for people that want to know sizing-wise, like, I'm 6-1, 6-2 if I'm not
hunching my back.
I'm really glad you brought that up, actually.
yeah so but this is a 2x and it's like perfect like it's well who wants a sweatshirt that's going to be like body con like I'm going to the clubs you know like this one now this one I have a little room in it but yeah for like a six one six two guy it's perfect so two X and I'm loving it I'm so glad you said that because for me it was really important to pay attention to the sizing and make sure it was all inclusive because I want everyone to obviously feel comfortable and I would say.
say that the excess to large is true to size, but anything large and I think there's
XL and double X, everything large and up.
You go up to three X.
Go into three X.
Yes.
So you can size up if you feel more comfortable with it, you know, because I would size
up just if you go from large up to three XL.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's, I mean, I'm good with like X, XL to freaking three X because I want it to, you know,
I've brought shoulders too.
Yeah.
So anyway.
I love that.
said the gray on gray because that's one of my favorite details and then in in this have you seen
this one yet the back of it oh what's on the back oh i love that yeah it's really cute and that says
do on the hood what is the mantra what is it like a prayer serenity prayer what's happening on the back
yeah it says eat pray love just kidding okay it says rise coffee the good stuff wash your
face. Think about your day ahead. Get excited. Stay focused. Manifest your wildest dreams. Be unapologetically
yourself and have a damn good sense of style while you do it. It's time to do you. Whoever wants to
just save that audio and put it as your alarm clock, do it. I think that this type of look though,
like the whole like monochromatic rocking like a matching set. Yeah. Like people are so into it these
days. Myself included, but you can dress it up, dress it down. Like, you know, I'm going to rock it with
some fresh white sneakers, but I could see someone throwing like a cute coat and like a little
winter boot or something with it or a fall boot ankle boot. And it would look so freaking adorable.
She, you know what I love is when it's cold is putting a sweatsuit with the hood out under like
a long oversized blazer coat. Yes, please. Yeah, with a little beanie and a little Doc Martin.
You called it a beanie. Look at you little Mary.
I know I have I read my audience now because don't Canadians call it like a tokey or something like that or what's it called something like that it's a two it's a two I feel like that's just a Pinterest board picture in itself that whole outfit but okay we you know what we should do what I haven't done an Instagram live in so long we should do a live and today because it launches and I'll give you like a fashion show.
and you can rate and say what you could style it with or piece it with and like what it would
look good with and you put the whole styling moment with it.
I love it. Yeah. Let's do it. Oh, that would be fun. A little fashion show. I do edit fashion show
with a stylist flown in. Well, no, I'm not flying in, but just over live. Over live. Oh, my gosh.
That'll be so fun. And then I'll have wine with you. It'll be it perfect. Like, it'll be like a self-love styling Instagram live.
because obviously the do you edit is about self-love.
But also to celebrate the launch,
we partnered with Courtney Thomas from the Bodie effect.
And she will be appearing on the due Instagram every day at 9 a.m. Pacific time for the month of September,
leading us through full mindful meditations.
On the due page, 9 a.m. Pacific time, every morning you can just tune into the due page.
And there's going to be a little 10 minute meditation for you.
And as a bonus, when you receive your due a pair of time,
You can scan the QR code on the hang tag and we'll receive a three-day Bodie Effect self-loved course valued at over $250.
I want it.
I know.
I need it.
I need that so that I don't have a mental breakdown.
Yeah.
I think we all do.
I'm so excited for you.
Like I'm in so proud.
Like look at you.
Just making apparel, just casually just launching your own fashion line, dropping some hats and scrunchies in the world, throwing a.
wine line into the universe just incredible you know what i just can't can't stop won't stop and
but a lot of times i want to stop yeah yeah keep going serena williams keep going lance armstrong
shit you're doing it why just the steroid injection yeah until i get canceled i'm doing it
then that's when i rest actually cleo's on as the producer right now which is funny because all my
listeners obviously know cleo but cleo i had a dream that
night that you and I were in a car and we just like were so mad at this guy and I
swirved and cut him off and you gave him the middle finger and we ended up going to jail and I
lost all of my jobs and we lost all of our businesses. It was an actual nightmare. But you know
what? I had a dream expert on my podcast once. I try and decode it and I think maybe that's just
a sign to not cut anybody off. And it was, I'm like, thank you brain for being there for me.
Yeah. That's what it was. That's what it was. Anyways, can I please hear your opinion on Bachelor
paradise because yeah i just i mean everybody on that beach i'm so sick of them all recycling the
word dumpster fire but that is exactly what it is yeah that seemed to be a popular phrase on that
dump of an island yeah yeah wait who's the one that they just introduced to the they just brought
her in becca the she was a natural yeah oh right okay so becca beca kufrin right yes down the
straight for me. Becca, like, who I hung out with while you
dancing with the stars. Like I met her. Okay. What a sweetheart. I know. She's
an actual sweetheart. I'm like mind blown that she went on Paradise. Well,
here's the thing, because I'm not too familiar with Bachelor Paradise. Actually,
too familiar. I'm not at all, to be honest. This is my first time watching it. So this is,
this is just a third party perspective looking in. But when she came on to the island,
glowing, her hair just beautifully blown out, had a, like, cute dress on, silk.
number. Just so tasteful.
It looked like she was going to do like a press junket type of thing.
Like, you know, she was really serving it up.
She walked onto that dumpster island and people were like, like, oh my God.
Like there was one guy, the guy that's super tan, he reminds me of myself in high school.
He's like 27 and he was, okay, that guy.
Yeah, he's a lot.
But Aaron was like, he was, he was, bro, bro, bro, bro.
Look off, bro.
He was watching her, like, at the Rose ceremony.
He was like, looking her at the Rose ceremony.
He was like, looking her at the Rose ceremony.
It was like seeing like dolphins in their natural habitat or something.
Like it was like an incredible like took my breath away to just see her up there.
Like that's where she belongs.
It felt like a fish out of water.
I was like, what are you doing?
You did that with 30 guys.
Don't do that on V2Bs.
These ragamuffins.
No, I considered going on Paradise for probably 20 seconds when I was freshly single.
Yeah.
I really thought about it for about 20 seconds because.
Why not?
One part of me was like, why not?
But another part was like, I have to close that chapter and move forward.
And to me, Paradise seems like it's just a whole other beast of a show.
Yeah.
I don't know.
But I'm not obviously not bashing because everyone knows I love Becca Kufra.
And she is an angel among angels.
Well, I'm glad she did because she definitely spiced it up.
Spiced up the, and all the ladies on the island, the other ones were like, oh, shit.
Yeah.
It sure did.
Yeah.
Everyone in Paradise feels like equal playing field and then you bring like a bachelorette and
it and it was so funny how they glorified it. It was like I swear they got her hair and makeup
done for the beach and like I like you could hear something go all the other ladies are like gorgeous
by the way but like yeah but you know they've been on the island so they like a lot of them
were just like fresh faced you know just chap lips you know a little banana boat on the arms
rocking a Caitlin Bristow Circa 2007. And so when Becca comes on just with Fenty Beauty as a sponsor,
you know, it's just, it's a situation's vibe. Took my breath away too. I'm a gay man and I'm like,
I'm down for Becca. Like she's, yeah, and so classy too. So anyway, I'm glad she's on it because I know
she's the best. But yeah, I was really just fascinated by like the whole dynamic and like
pairing up, partnering up. And and that one weird guy that gave this got off.
awful necklace to the
one of the girls. I forgot.
I don't even know the names. Oh, one
gave a Pandora bracelet and then the other guy
that looks like, like his name would be Chad.
I think it is. Jason.
I don't know.
Jason.
I'm pretty sure it is.
It is Jason.
Not Jason. Jason.
Oh, for fuck sake.
Yeah. So good old
Jason gave like, I guess.
So here's the thing, Caitlin, because you can
explain this behind the scenes world to me.
but he had this large necklace that looked like something like I think Nellie would love that
or Flo Rida would be a big fan of it.
You know, it was just like it was, it's definitely a statement piece, you know, and that's
an acquired taste.
Some girls just like delicate jewelry.
Some want something big and bold.
Depends on whatever.
Anyway, but he had to have went to the mall and pick that up at a local kiosk or
packet in his luggage.
Here's what I think happened.
I don't think he had that in his.
luggage. Didn't he say it was like his moms or something? Oh shit. I don't know the asshole that was like
it's tacky. No. No, I don't. I think production went out and maybe got it from a kiosk down the
street and was like here. And if it wasn't, our apologies. Because if it belonged to your mom,
then it's vintage as fucking. We love it. Yeah. Family heirloom. Yeah. I mean, you just boom.
I met you. Here you go. Take my mom's necklace. And then. And then the Pandora
bracelet, which I didn't, well, I guess
Pandora, it's a thing, you know.
Yeah. My mom's all the
Pandora. Okay. Yeah.
Here's what, I need to go back to this for
two seconds because this is
why Becca is
this shining little
diamond coming into the rough
because there's people like
Tweedl D and Tweedledum, the
Chase and Chris S who nobody even
knows who Chris S is. So for them
to be on the same beach, I'm
sorry, but it's a little confusing.
sure is.
Nobody knew who Chris S was from Claire's season because he, I mean, he even knew nobody knew
because he went home the first night.
And the fact that they're like, we're two smoke bros looking for smoke shows.
I was like, I'm going to throw the F of like.
Yeah, a lot of toxic masculinity up on that bro island.
A lot of toxic masculinity.
That's exactly.
Just measuring dicks left and right.
They are the kinds of guys that would measure.
Dicks. Do you think they would have gotten naked on that same date that Kenny and Tia got
naked on? Or would they be like, shit, we got small dick syndrome. We can't get naked.
No, because those guys, it's always the guys that have that like persona that think they have this
baby arm of a wiener. And it's just, and they're like, it's always that guy that's like, you know,
just like, what is that? And he's like, does it hurt? And you're like, is it in? It's that's, you know what I
mean it's the overconfident it's because they were raised by parents who just gave way too much like false sense of confidence and it just grew and they became these monsters they didn't grow up in the locker room where they saw everyone else's wieners they thought their own was just the best i love that we call it weaners
that's because tia kept calling it a wiener and then she called her vagina a china pot a china pot a china pot oh sweet i guess i don't
don't even know what is the china pot like for tea like the cup you're holding i picture that
as a vagina it's freaking chip from disney
that's what i pictured to be a china pot but his mom from beauty and the beast oh yeah
mrs pot or whatever yeah i don't really get the china pot thing but i laugh i don't either
can we just know what a china pot looks like maybe then we'll get a better idea china pot
It just shows me pictures of vaginas.
Oh, yeah, just like a delicate, beautiful floral pot that holds hot water and tea.
Sure.
Yeah.
Okay.
Sometimes it's called a lotus.
Sometimes it's called a, I don't know, there's lots of names for.
You know what I'm going to do?
I'm going to send Tia a voice note.
Tia, I'm doing a podcast with Lowe right now.
and we're just really talking probably too much about what a china pot looks like.
So can you just explain to us in a voice note what you mean by Chinapot?
Does your vagina look like a floral china pot?
Sure does.
It's round.
He sends me a picture and her vagina actually looks like a kettle.
Okay, so I'm with the creator of the term, Chinaquy.
Her name is Shannon Ford.
You know I love her.
Ah, Caitlin Hey, I call it a Chinapot because it sounds like vagina.
vagina. It doesn't look like it. I wish my vagina is like a floral china pot is yours. Well, I mean, mine is pretty pristine. Mine's pretty pristine. Mine looks like a kettle. I was like kettle. But china like china like china. It just sounds like vagina. China pot. It just sounds like vagina. China. But classy. Classy, sweet, cute, flirting fun. Love you, bye.
Okay. So it's a for china pot. Got it.
This is Off the Vine Grape Therapy.
I thoroughly enjoyed the show.
I thoroughly enjoyed it.
But I always just, I'm going to just shoot straight to Demi
because I really want to know your thoughts on her.
Okay, so Demi, again, just so I'm making sure I have the right one in my head.
Yeah, Demi's brown hair.
No!
No, shit, Demi's blonde hair.
And then what's the other one's name again?
Mari.
Mari is Southern Bell.
no that's in hells okay
he is trying to plot southern bell got it
Mari gorgeous girl that was dating Kenny first
yes and she's like she had sex with him in the boom boom room
no that's Debbie
Demi the blonde had sex with Kenny in the boom boom room
okay thank you got it so let's get we talk about
blondey boom boom room that's what I'll call her boom boom room
yes so that one I feel like she's being put through the ringer with Kenny and my heart goes out
to her for that your heart really goes out to her no I mean a little bit I'll do like a couple two
percent she knows what she signed up for but at the same time like you could tell like she she was
just hoping to like couple it up with him and then he's like yeah I'm good like I'm 56 like I want
my options open you know I've been around for a while I still got a lot of time not ready to settle
down anytime soon. So, yeah, he just jumps right into bed with freaking southern bell,
a little southern comfort. They didn't jump into bed. They just got naked. They're literally having
anal. Okay. I don't know. I just threw that in. They got naked on the beach. And I was like,
okay, here's what I always think. When there's certain things like that, I'm like, I don't want to
disrespect anybody's beliefs. So I was like, oh my gosh, they're laughing at these people for being naked.
I'm uncomfortable because these people are so free with their nudity.
Yeah, beautiful thing.
Wait, why were they laughing, though?
Because I think they were nervous because they saw a man's wiener and a girl's china pot.
Fair enough.
Fair enough.
Yeah, I get it.
So the thing is, I'm not a big fan of the Southern Bell.
Really?
Not a big fan.
She's a homie of yours in Nashville.
She's a bit of a homie of mine in Nashville.
Okay.
just maybe this is just first impression she came in she came in guns blazing so you know all the
returners to paradise coming guns blazing like demi was like i'm gonna come in and steal your man
and then tia was like i've done this before like let's get naked all the people who've been there
before think they're these like i'm here to make good tv and then they kind of overdo it yeah yeah so
with the the two guys that had the conversations like yo like i gave her the necklace you gave her
the bracelet or whatever like that weird conversation if you mute the show like it automatically
felt like oh my god there's a lot of sexual tension between them in my head just i was like this is
this could be a really great gay show but unfortunately that wasn't happening but i would love
really appreciate if you did go back and mute it and give us a little skit yeah if you could do
that i would really have that has that ever happened minus oh by the way speaking
gay the one the little blondeie's like she was just making those jabs the boom boom room blondeie
whatever her name is i will never remember it thank you but she's like yeah clearly that girl
doesn't have good gay dar she was with colton and all they were doing on her season were
cobbling down weiner or something like that or all they were doing was slurping hot dogs
and she made some like little com down weaners she she does have some good one liners i'll give her that
Sure does. I'll give her that. But what, okay, Colton was, you know, obviously, he's like, I can't be with you. It's not you. It's me. And yeah, take that to heart literally because, you know, she's missing something that he would be interested in. A wiener. That being said. And I mean, I feel like I can get a little bit of a pass on this on this subject, right? As someone who loves dick, I feel like I'm here. I'm over here representing the Latinos.
and the gays today.
So anyway.
But have they ever had a plot twist on the actual show of like,
oh,
I'm actually on Paradise,
but like two guys end up together?
Yes.
Has that ever happened?
Demi got engaged to a woman last season.
Oh, what?
Yes.
So Demi was on Paradise last season.
And she was like keeping her options open,
but she was like,
there's still somebody at home that I'm thinking about.
And it was this girl who,
I've had on my podcast who's just an absolute delight.
And she wasn't from the Bachelor franchise.
She's the first person that's come on Paradise.
That's not from the Bachelor franchise to be like,
Demi, I'm in love with you.
And they were like the cutest couple.
And they got engaged.
Yeah.
And they were really sweet together.
And then I guess, yeah, that didn't work out.
But yes.
So Demi.
So it has happened.
Yeah.
Oh, I'm so glad.
Because it's like 2021.
Throw a cute gay relationship on there.
And I really loved it because I felt,
you know, I appreciated the show for taking that step.
I appreciated the audience because a lot of people love them and supported them.
And it was just a really cool moment for the show.
Love is love. Love wins.
Love always wins.
Sure does. Sure. Freaking does.
I wanted to know what your thoughts were on Connor, who had the kimono convict,
aka the smooth criminal, two-sided one outfit.
You know, half was like, do you remember this?
half was stripes and half was floral and he kept turning and being like oh if I turn this way and he was like doing a whole month did you even watch a show full transparency so I watched the first one on edibles so I was kind of like hallucinating a little bit I was in and out of REM and I'm watching it and but then I woke up with the morning I'm asking you questions you're like eh you're like who's Demi she's like a figure
name on the show. Wait, who's Demi and who's the Southern Bell? Wait, now, who's Kenny? When did they get me? My favorite. My favorite scene is when they're on the subway in New York, you're like, what? Next to the city, low.
Shit. Okay, let's do this instead. Who do you remember? And what what did you like? I think all you recall is the Pandora bracelet and necklace between
freaking what's his nuts
and what's it's nuts
Carl. I need to hurry up and salvage
this because I'm never
going to be brought back
ever again. If I don't
come up with some fucking facts
like I better serve it up.
All right. I'm going to serve it up. Here we go.
Here's the thing.
I'm going to give you one more chance for
like down the road in a few weeks
and fool me once. Shame on
you. Fool me twice.
on me. So if you can't show up next time, you're out of here.
Get out.
Yeah.
So the second episode, though, which was the most recent one, I was not under any sort of
drug-induced type of edible experience. So I remember that crisp and clear. And
I do remember a lot of drama happening with the guys. I do remember if I were to
picture, Caitlin Bristow, not with the beautiful man that is Jason Tartick. Let's just say
it didn't work out. I'm not, I don't even want to put that in the atmosphere because this is love
that lasts forever. Jason, I really love him so much, Caitlin, by the way. Like, can I just want to get it
on the air? You guys are like family. I love him so much. And that being said, I shouldn't even say
if you didn't work out. I don't even like to say stuff like that. Let me say this. It's, it's
hypothetically speaking.
hypothetically speaking, if there was a guy that
remind me a little bit of Jason, just like in his
like, I don't know, his mannerisms, I'm going with good old
Uncle Joe. Oh, that's his favorite bachelor
person in all of history is Joe. Oh, really?
Yeah. Oh, good. So I'll take it as a compliment because I really
like Joe. He's my favorite too. Joe is amazing. He's
just a Chicago boy who like truly never
ever in his life saw himself being on TV and
now is just like thriving. He was on Dancing with the Stars actually.
Wait, have you ever dated him?
No.
Oh, okay.
But hypothetically speaking.
Yeah, I wouldn't say no to it.
Yeah, there's something sweet and charming about him.
And so he hasn't been on the show, Bachelor Paradise, that many times.
He was there last year.
And then he ended up with Kendall.
You've styled her.
Love Kendall Long.
Yes.
Yes.
Oh, she's a sweetheart with, oh, I love her, like, random animal facts.
She'll be like a bat, you know, has a.
a penis that's inverted like
she does that random animal
random animal facts
she's a fun follow she came on
at the end and she went to
Joe and said hey butthead can I talk to
you because they were together for two
years and they were like in love
but now he's with Serena P from Canada
and now Kendall's coming in so next week is going to be
you know it I'm vested I'm going to say it
a dimster fire oh I'm see now
I'm vested I love me some Kendall
Joe has it like a just a nice
vibe to him. I don't know. He's kind of just like the guy that you see at the bar just
eating some wings. Yes. You know, good tipper. He's a good tipper. He's humble. He drinks a
beer. He has his wings. He doesn't bother anybody. He makes a couple jokes. He's, he's sweet.
Yeah. Probably wears like aqua dejo. Smells just like. Oh, like a fresh 10th grader.
Like, don't people in high school wear that. I know. I still actually, wait, Jason was wearing
that not that long ago what was he really i thought yeah just remember my sister's boyfriend wearing that
like i love it i use i buy it and i use it as a room spray sometimes just you know to make yourself a little
like what's that store abercrombian fitch oh are you talking about fierce that's no that's the name of
abercrombian fitch is iconic cologne fierce it's so fierce oh it's smell that i actually buy the
room spray of that too just because it reminds me of where I came from folding polos making minimum wage
getting wetzel-pretsle loved it so much fashion inspo while you both I was obsessed but that's what
joe smells like to me Abercrombie and Fitch Fierce mixed with aqua dejo with a little hot sauce
with a splash of yeah hot sauce there we go yeah so I hope he ends up with Kendall I hope that they
reunite and make that a thing again you know they had time
apart and I want Becca who is Becca gonna end up with oh my gosh I don't know I can't see her with
any of them I can't either and that like tan guy who was like you remind me of dolphins in their natural
habitat the bro dude like no he's too like 27 he's too obsessed with the fact that she was a bachelorette
and he just came off a bachelor's so he holds her at a higher standard and I that's sweet but it's almost
a little weird yeah and she asked him like how old are you and he's like 27 she's like oh my god like
when you were in what fourth grade
I was graduating from college
no from high school or something like that
which is not that big of an age cap but I think to her
and well I mean also
where he is like what he was saying to her
it just felt very young very superfan vibes
that's what it was a little super fanny
vibes and yeah just play it cool man
and Aaron who is super fan vibes
and Thomas
the really tall guy
who always talks about being tall, they hate each other from Katie's season, and they are both
interested in Tammy. Now, Tammy is going to be part of this interview after I talk to you. So I need
to ask Tammy all the questions because she was the one who is, she was dating Aaron. They were like
a thing. He gave her his rose. And then she went and walked away with Thomas, who he hates
and straddled him and made out with him in front of Aaron.
Oh, oh, yeah.
Oh, she's spicy one.
Spicy.
She walked directly past Aaron with the tall Thomas.
Tammy, do you, Tammy.
I love her.
Okay, so I was controversial figure.
Other direction.
And when I got on with her, it's going to be like, Tammy.
Yeah.
No, I mean, sure, like she kind of played him.
She played him.
She's playing the game.
And I love it.
Checkmate, although it's probably going to end up, like, working, like, not in her best interest because everyone's going to hate her.
And the guys are going to be like, you played me.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
I didn't like it.
And I find it really hard to call people out on my own podcast because I want them to feel comfortable.
Sure.
And I don't want them to shut down on me for the rest of the interview.
So I'm going to try and navigate these waters of not agreeing with Tammy and still holding space for Tammy.
Tammy. Yeah, not agreeing with Tammy, but Tammy, you do you. You want to straddle a dude and then go and, I don't know, make out with another one and just break promises and just, yeah, be yourself, Queen. And, yeah, I was hoping that there was a cash prize at the end because then I could kind of understand a lack of a moral compass. But no, but knowing that there's not. Just true love at the end, low. Sorry to burst your bubble. It's only true love at the end.
Well, then Tammy, do better.
Yeah.
Hey, maybe true love will develop between Tammy and Thomas, and then all of this will be, like, worth it because
of the love story at the end.
But I don't know.
I think she likes a little bit of the attention and got caught up in it because, I don't
know.
There's just no other situation that she could have stirred up that could have been worse.
And then she cried, but did it to herself.
And I just have questions for her, okay?
The show gives me full-blown anxiety.
Every time I watch it, I'm like, why am I doing this to myself?
It's like, it's, it's a lot.
The PTSD kicks in.
How did you feel about Lance Bass posting it?
I thought it was great.
I love some Lance, like, welcome back.
We all love in sync.
It's nice to see him on TV.
He's not aging.
He still looks like, you just.
No.
Yeah, he's still doing bye, bye, bye.
Bives, you know, like he still looks like very young, which is great.
His little blue hair moment.
You know what's so funny.
Oh, is when he came in, like, when,
he was the next host the all the people the cast didn't know and so they just found a boom box
and all of them are like 23 24 and like didn't know to press play on the boom box and when it did
it was like yes what it's gonna be me and Lance like came in and he's like so your new host
it's gonna be me and everyone was like ah and I'm like you guys were in like the fourth grade when
that song came out yeah oh god when you reference it like that yeah like my
parents loved in sync you're like what oh no are we the parents now i know i'm afraid because
like today when i was i got a massage and i was filling out the thing and it said age and i was
like no i can't no and i was like holy shit i'm 47 i'm three years older than when my i am
kenny i am three years old when my mom had me ah it freaked me out
yeah that actually when I do think about that because my mom had me at 25 years old so yeah isn't that wild
yeah it's kind of wild when you think about it like that but we're still young we are people live
longer these days Lance is young Beck is young everybody come on now even old Kenny he still
has some fight left in him sure does I mean got the body of a 20 year old yeah he looks amazing yeah
everyone on that freaking beach is good looks good looks
looking, Becca gives her rose to Aaron.
Hajwan decides to leave.
I don't know.
Connor goes home, which made me sad because I root for him and he just keeps being so hard
on himself.
Oh, Connor was, oh, that was so sad.
Like, you know what?
Connor needs to find himself do a little self-healing.
Because wasn't he the one?
And he was like, how anyone's going to love me?
Like, no one's going to love me anymore.
And I was like, whoa, this is a deeper issue, my friend.
And I hope you get the help you need because I've been there.
done some work you know and i think this going on bachelorette getting turned down going on paradise
i think will open the doors for him to do some soul searching and then that's when he's going
fully embrace who he is hmm optimism yeah not on brand but we're hoping for some reason i'm
always positive on the podcast because i think i enjoy it so much that i like pop on and i'm just in
the best mood and then I like get off and I'm like he'll end up in rehab I'm complaining about
everything I think I just love podcasting so I'm always positive yeah positive patty podcast are over
we need positive patties I'm similar in that way I try to be more positive because there's so much
shit going on in the world where you're going to come on the podcast and be all a negative nancy
no spread some light oh my god by the way the light is just hitting your face ever so you know
what it's doing. Wow. Oh my God. It's so pretty. Tinging photo. Beautiful.
This way or this way? That way. Well, well, I will say I've had the best time podcasting
with you, even though you didn't know shit that's going on and I kind of loved it. I love you. I love
you too. And let's not go two more weeks before talking again. No, no. I'm going to FaceTime you
tonight. Okay. That's cool. After I eat them, a free.
to go. Yeah, later tonight after you have a nice meal.
I love you. I love you too, Queen. All right. See you soon.
Okay, don't go anywhere, Vino's, because my weekly paradise recap is not quite complete because
we have to talk with the woman herself, who we are all wanting to hear answers from. Tammy is
here for a quick little visit to let us inside her head and better understand what went down
between her and Aaron and Thomas and then Aaron and Thomas. So hit pause for a second run and
fill up that glass of wine or water or whatever you're drinking and what time
a day it is. And let's find out what the actual F was going through Tammy's mind. You
might agree with her by the end. You might not. I don't have much time with you,
but we need to get inside your head, Tammy. We need to get it. Oh gosh. And understand because
this is a very controversial thing of you and the Thomas and the Aaron and everything that's going
on. And I'm like, Tammy's an intelligent woman. So we need to get inside her head and know what was
truly going on, what we didn't see. So what in the hell was Tammy thinking? Tell us everything.
Okay. So from the beginning of that day, my biggest enemies in this world are egotistical men.
You know, so after hearing about like what everyone had to say about Thomas, I'm like, I want
nothing to do with this guy. And then I was thinking back on it and like, you know what? If COVID
didn't happen and I was on the next season of The Bachelor in Paradise,
that year, I feel like I would have been Thomas
because I was the quote unquote last villain of my season
and I can only imagine if like McKenna and Kelsey,
who didn't like me at the time,
were like telling everyone that I'm this terrible human
and I came down to a lion's den.
I'm like, you know what?
That's kind of like screwed up in this world
where literally it's us against trolls.
Like we can't let the trolls win
because we're like united by this experience
and I don't think that it was fair for us to
you know side with the trolls of like thinking that he's this monster so i woke up the next morning
really early and i went upstairs to go get breakfast and it was thomas and kenny up there
and then kenny left to go work out and i can tell like thomas didn't sleep like probably all night
because like what happened the night before he got dumped on his date he got attacked by all the
guys right and i just sat there with him for two hours and just like talked about like you know
this world is very dangerous still our mental health and as long as you know who you
you are like people are going to say so many mean things about you um just like on and on like
relating to our experience as the quote unquote misunderstood villain of our seasons so i mean
you know how long two solid hours is in that world like that's a long that's a long conversation
yeah yeah so i was with aaron at the time um Aaron came up I gave him like a good morning kiss
had breakfast and I was like to Thomas if you want me to like I'll help set up like conversations
for you so you can talk to like Mari because he said he was interested in Marri and
I'm like D'Ango's also really cool.
She's not really locked in.
I think she talked to her.
She's awesome.
And like I was just basically playing matchmaker to help him.
Like I want to help try to send a positive experience for Paradise for this person who had nothing but a negative experience right from the get-go.
You know?
So nothing was romantic there.
And actually I, the night portion comes by.
And I was like thinking as I was getting ready, I'm like, you know what?
I think I really shot myself in the foot with this one.
Like I think I just friend zone myself so hard when I.
when I am vibing with this guy so badly
and I'm like I almost don't want to
vibe with this guy because I'm like
he's too good to be true
and like guys like that don't go for girls like me anyways
and I'm already spending the whole day
like trying to set him up with like other girls
and I have a good thing going with Aaron
and then I'm like you know what I'm not a baby back bitch
who sits back and doesn't go after things that I want
and take big risks so I'm going to take a leap
this is what paradise is for
I wasn't even thinking about that Aaron and him hated each other because their hatred has nothing to do with me.
That was all on what happened on their season of The Bachelorette.
So I went down to the bar after we all got ready and Thomas was there so excited.
He's like, thank you so much.
Like that really just set a really good mood for me for the rest of paradise.
Like I have you to thank for that, blah, blah, blah.
I'm like, I really appreciate that.
And we were just talking as like friends.
I'm like, you know what?
I'm going to just go for it.
I pulled him aside for a conversation.
I honestly didn't know where Aaron was on the beach.
The beach is very long.
If you can see the aerial shot of the island, like where Aaron was and where the daybed was
is very far away from each other in retrospect.
Okay.
So I wasn't doing it to spite him.
And I was kind of in the moment of like where I was, I wanted to be present with me
and just Thomas, like our conversation.
We had a long conversation on the daybed.
I can tell he was holding back because of like his beef with Aaron.
and then I just went in for the kiss.
Like I have no problem with doing the first initiative.
And then, yeah, it was just really good chemistry at the time.
And then he made me aware of that Aaron was like staring because he was laying down.
And I wasn't.
I was facing the other way on top of him clearly.
I'm like, oh gosh.
Like I know this is going to be bad.
Like then my instincts like just was more aware of the whole retrospect of the situation.
And I'm like, this is so f*** up.
I don't know how to get out of this.
But I'm like really bad with this person in front of me.
And it sucks.
And I'm like, I don't know what I want to do because honestly, I had a really good thing with Aaron.
And I'm now like having a really good thing with Thomas.
I really was torn between the two.
I didn't know where my rose was going to.
That was the last thing on my mind, you know, because the rose ceremony was the day after.
So at that point where the rose ceremony started, like, it wasn't off the table for me with me and Aaron until I tried to pull.
him aside when him and Thomas are having an argument.
I actually pulled him aside when they were coming back from their argument and he just
pushed me away. He didn't want anything to do with me. I go, like, we, what quote
unquote, he claims that we built, he just basically shoved me away and like, first of all,
at least owe me the respect to, you know, have a conversation. And I get why he couldn't
even give me the respect because like he would say that I didn't give him the respect of giving
the heads up that I wanted to talk to Thomas. But the thing is, we've had multiple conversations
about not solidifying anything yet and like wanting to explore other options because that's what
Paradise is for.
It wasn't shown.
But when I stole him from Serena and went upstairs to do the champagne and strawberries with Aaron
on the first verse of morning night, I did not leave that conversation feeling good because he's
the one that told me, you know, we shouldn't solidify this.
We should explore other options.
I go, okay, well, I just did this really cute thing for you.
And now I feel uneasy.
And like that I can't bag him for it because that's what we're.
here for and I'm like you know what I'm going to respect that okay that's what I was going to ask you
is because I know we don't see there's so much you know yeah content that's going on and
situations that are happening and we don't see everything I was going to ask if you did ever have
that conversation with Aaron like hey I'm my options are open because he seemed so hurt by this like
he wouldn't have done it so it's interesting to hear that he was like yeah we should keep our
options open because I thought he was like it was
you and him. I thought you felt it was you and him. And then it kind of like came out of nowhere
the you and Thomas. So I was like, did you have a conversation with Aaron before you made out
with Thomas? And if multiple times. During the pool, during the pool party earlier that day,
we were in the pool talking about like, you know, is this still going to be like a we should
explore other options thing? Just getting like a final answer in my mind. You know, I didn't
tell him like I was going to go try to talk to other guys. But I think it was kind of in plot.
that we both were so I was very confused and then especially like with that conversation during the
road ceremony and I'm like you know what like if this guy isn't all in on me then I am going to explore
my options and it's okay for both of us too you know I'm like you know what it is only been a week
let's not solidify where I am with him even though it's great I want to see I want to pick
Aaron at the end of the day because I want to not because I have to you know that's true
and it was multiple conversations so that's why I was so not
blindsided because I can see why he was hurt, but confused because he's the one that
agreed to, if you didn't agree with it, then why didn't you tell me that you wanted to
solidify things? Do you think he would have been as upset if it wasn't Thomas?
No, is it just because it was Thomas? Imagine if I made out with Connor the cat instead,
he would, he would be like, okay, that wasn't cool, but like, whatever. I think his hatred
towards Thomas was what fueled why he was so angry at me. And what his hatred towards Thomas
has nothing to do with me.
So, like, I hated that they put me, put me in the middle of that because, like, those
are my two separate relationships, you know?
It was not because Aaron was involved, and that's why I went with Thomas.
And I wasn't involved with Thomas just because Aaron, like, it's just.
So you regret making out with Thomas and, like, knowing that Aaron was so angry with him,
or you stand by it?
I stand by it because what they have against each other has nothing to do with me.
Nothing.
Did you think of the repercussion?
in that moment or are you? Because I'm a very in the moment person. I think about things after.
So if you're very in the moment with Thomas, where you just like, after you're like, oh shit,
Aaron saw, now he's going to be really mad. Oh, yeah. And then it was a spiral. Yeah.
I wanted to, again, be present, be in the moment. Because time is so limited that we have there anyways.
And then after, you know, the butterflies went away after our makeout session, I'm like,
I feel like I just fucked up so badly. But I also, I don't owe anybody anything except for what
I owe myself. You know, I was just trying to find my best connection, just like we all are.
You know, it was a week. I didn't, I mean, call me wrong here, but I feel like I didn't owe him
anything. I don't owe anybody anything except for what I owe myself. Especially if, like, see,
I would have disagreed with you until I hear the full story. And that's what's tough about
watching TV shows is because you never get the full stories. Just so much has happened.
And we only have four hours a week, unfortunately. And I know that sounds ridiculous to say,
but there was so much that happened this season.
It was impossible to give everyone their own solid stories.
Right.
Yeah.
And of course,
like we're watching thinking we only see like what,
you know,
we saw everything that went down.
So how could she not have an explanation for this?
But it,
I mean,
that's why I love podcasting and,
you know,
having this opportunity to talk to people and be like,
what really happened and what were you thinking?
And do you have regrets and like getting the full story?
Because I think we always as viewers need more context to situations.
Yeah.
So I'm, I'm excited to see what happens next week because Aaron seemed to really just be like, oh, a bachelorette is here. And she gave me a rose. So I'm like, what do you? Oh, this is my question. Do you think Aaron hates Thomas and loathes him so much because they're actually deep down very similar people. They're actually very different people. Oh, they are. Okay. And I think it's with like, with men, I think it's like a competition thing, you know? And it's like it sums from insecurity. I mean, we do the same thing. Comparison.
you know with everybody else online and in this franchise but i don't know because the way he bounced
back and you know was like all right i'm better now okay like the new bachelor's in town it's like
okay were you really hurt for losing me you were never hurt of you were never sad to lose me
you were just sad to lose the ego to someone that you loathe yeah that's that's the tricky
part to me i this is so long ago obviously my season was so long ago but i had my final two
literally hated each other so much that it took over like some of the like
beautiful story that could have been and sometimes I like still look back and think did did he
even really truly love me or was this like a competition between two men that couldn't put their
ego aside and I kind of see that that with Aaron and Thomas like was it really you know not
I'm not trying to like hurt your feelings but like was it about you or was it about Aaron's hatred
towards Thomas and the competition like of course he liked you and cared about you duh but at the
end of the day, what was it? So, and then I also wanted to know if situations were flip-flopped.
If there was somebody that you were like, that is my one worst enemy in this house right now.
And Aaron did that to you. Would you dig deep to understand or would you react the way that
Aaron did? It's hard to say because obviously it didn't happen. I mean, better, easier said than done,
you know, like let's say a girl came down and he started making out with her. It's like, I just, I don't think I
am a jealous person, I would put the two situations separate.
At least I would think, but I can see why, like, if you, you're fresh off your season
from filming, now you're on Paradise, I can see that hatred is still, like, fuming
inside of you. And yes, that probably would hurt, you know?
Yeah. But. I mean, at the end of the day, it's, it's a situation where it's paradise.
You were in the moment. You had conversations with Aaron that you thought, you know,
were not totally fully 110% committed you got in the moment and it hurt some feelings and it ended up hurting your feelings too like you were upset about it
100% I think people are I don't show my emotions very well physically and I think that's very apparent from my time on The Bachelor you know like I really try to show my emotions really deep down but I doing that to Aaron also hurt me very much because I can only imagine how shitty that feels you know I think with the timing of everything it being a rose ceremony night that was also a factor too like it it hurt because I really liked Aaron before Paradise I was telling every podcast every article that I wanted to see Aaron on the beach like that is someone that I can
see myself viving with like we get along so well but the extent of our relationship was just
a friendship I felt like like there was that there was no chemistry between me and Aaron that I was
just yearning for and like I almost feel like I was begging for it a little bit and it just wasn't
being reciprocated and I hate saying that but like I feel like people just think that I'm this
cold-hearted bitch and it's just like I wasn't I wasn't being given what I'm trying to
get out of relationship that I came here for yeah and I think that
everyone will see the difference between me and Aaron
and then me and Thomas moving forward
because Thomas just,
it was night and day.
In your real life,
do you think people would be like,
yeah,
Tammy was the villain?
Or were people surprised?
And what do you think
made you be the villain of the house?
I mean, with paradise?
With everything.
Like you came from Peter's season as the villain.
And like there would be people in life
that would be like, oh, I could see that with her.
Like, maybe you're sassy, spicy, and you're like, yeah, I would be.
Or do you feel like you were misunderstood?
I think I was misunderstood out of context.
You know, like, when my friends watch it back with me, they're like, oh, my gosh, that's, that's you.
You're spicy.
You don't take any shit from anybody.
Like, you fight for the things that you want.
You stand up for your friends because you're so, I'm a loyal friend, you know?
I mean, I fought for Alea's right up until paradise.
And that was two years ago, you know?
So I think my personality is very easily portrayed as, like,
intimidating and like you know abrupt and blunt but i just i just don't sugarcoat things that's my
personality i don't have ill intent whatsoever i think like what you see is what you get with me
and you'll that that's a good thing because i don't ever want to be fake or portray something that i'm not
you know yeah as long as you're i always say that as long as your friends and family watch back
no matter how what the context is as long as your friends and family are like she's being
true to herself i think that's what matters the most i mean it sucks when you people's feelings
get heard and, you know, there's a, there's a line, of course, of being a villain. But as long as,
you know, you're being true to yourself, I think it's important. And you learn so much from
the experience. What have you learned from everything of being on TV? Oh, man. I learned
to have thick skin. And, you know, I'm always trying to adjust myself to be the best version of
myself. And things that I saw on Peter's season were some things that I didn't like either, you know,
like I was easily manipulated by certain people and that and because I have a bigger mouth,
it looks like I'm doing this hurt intent when it wasn't even me, you know?
So I think thinking twice before I say things, not acting on emotion, you know, kind of just
thinking things through logically is what I've learned.
But like also the biggest thing for me, I think the largest change was my ability to show emotions.
You know, I, him from a really bad childhood and like, I.
I feel like I just shove these emotions down so deep where it reflects in my adult life.
And I suppress them so hard where everyone's like, I can't read you emotionally.
And like my friends that I spent time with during COVID, you know, on Clubhouse,
they really formed me to like be okay with being out with my emotions.
And that was my biggest goal going down to paradise is please, please be okay with being emotional
because showing how you feel matters and it helps people understand you and the situation.
Yeah, I love that.
that's like if anyone can learn that lesson in life that's especially you know with a history or things
where you had to bury things down if you can learn how to express yourself and your feelings that's
i mean that's huge for anybody i yeah i'm like the other way i'm like since i was a child i'm like
here's how i'm feeling at all times here it is which is also a blessing and a curse but yeah
is there any teasers you can give us for what's coming up next week i mean i clearly
we see that Kendall comes down.
Yeah.
That's a big one, but
I don't know. I guess you guys just have to
watch. It's so much that happens. I don't
even think I could give you one teaser because
a million things happen. Do things continue
to heat up between you and Thomas?
Yeah. I mean, he
only treats me so well.
So I hope
it's portrayed that way too, because we really
were a couple that came out of left field.
Like no one ever expected it, you know?
Yeah. That's exciting.
I'm like so curious about Erin and Beck. I'm like, is this a thing or was this just a rose? I don't know. I'm excited. Oh, man. I'm, I'm in it. It is short lived. I'll say that. Okay. Okay. I'm short lived. Okay. I'm excited to say it happens. Thank you for coming on and talking about it because I know, I know the internet works and I know there's probably so many people that are saying harsh words and we all have our opinions. And even though I, like, I watched being like, what is she doing? Yeah. It looks so abrupt.
You know, it's like, where did this come from?
Right, exactly.
So thank you for talking about it and sharing your side of the story.
All right.
Thanks, Caitlin.
