Okay, let's talk about the original enemies to lovers story.
Before all of our reality TV couples, before the rom-coms, we binge,
there was Elizabeth Bennett and Mr. Darcy in pride and prejudice.
And Audible has just dropped a brand new original that will have you completely hooked, I am.
It's not just any audiobook.
This is a full cast performance.
So Marisa Abella, you might know her from industry,
brings Elizabeth Bennett to life.
And Harris Dickinson from Baby Girl and Where the Crawdads Sing is Mr. Darcy.
And honestly, the chemistry, you guys, it's everything.
Plus, you've got icons like Glenn Close, Bill Nye and Will Polter in the mix.
Talk about a dream cast.
Now, what I love is how Marissa pulls you right into Lizzie's world, her stubbornness, her wit, her messy family dynamics,
and of course, her complicated feelings for Darcy.
And with a vibrant new adaptation and original score by Grammy-nominated composer, it just feels
so fresh and modern while still keeping that timeless Jane Austen charm.
So whether it's your first time experiencing pride and prejudice or you've read it a million
times, you're going to fall absolutely in love all over again.
So go listen to Pride and Prejudice now at audible.cair slash Jane Austen.
This episode of Grape Therapy is brought to you by Advocare.
All right, I don't know about you, but I need all of the extra energy I can get this holiday
season, and that is why I've been drinking Spark.
It's Aboucair's best-selling energy drink mix and my go-to for extra energy and focus this
time of year. Grab a bag of spark for someone on your gift list or treat yourself this season

weekly session. Caitlin and friends are here to share unfiltered advice, lots of
laughs and some major breakthroughs. So put your feet up, pop a cork, and get ready for some
grape therapy. Welcome to grape therapy. I'm your host, Caitlin Bristow. And honestly,
today's guest might be one of my favorite human beings on planet Earth. Thank God for social
media because that brought her into my life. She is witty. She is kind. She is awkward in the
best way. She's insightful. And I'm just rooting for her to be on the next season of Dancing with
the Stars. Miraball winner. I'm calling it right here. Elise Myers is on the pod today to talk
about Bachelor in Paradise, and she was actually at the reunion after party.
So she tells me all about her thoughts and feelings on getting to meet everyone.
So enjoy my conversation with Elise Myers.
She always just makes me feel so good.
Hi, how are you?
I'm so good.
How are you?
I'm good.
Where are you right now?
I am in L.A.
going to the Dancing with the Stars live finale tonight.
Oh, my gosh.
I'm so jealous.
I cannot. I'm so excited.
This whole season of that show is been amazing, by the way.
It's incredible. I'm so glad. I keep saying, I'm so glad I wasn't on this season because
everyone, like they look like professional dancers. All of the celebs look like professional
dancers. It is nuts. It's how good they are. I don't know whether I love that or I hate that.
I'm like, who do I want? People that like are horrible at dancing that like learn how to
become the incredible dancers or people that come in and they're like, I'm already going to win.
I'm like, well, this isn't fair.
wait we i want to say this on the record because it didn't happen but i came to you i forgot about
this until right now because i was going to ask i'm like would eliz ever do dancing with the stars
no so i asked because they were looking for people and i was like oh my gosh eliz would be perfect
so i reached out to you and i said would you ever do dancing with the stars and you were like okay
we're going to think about this and we're going to we're going to put it you were you were down
is what i'm getting at i was very down
And it was very close. Could you imagine? Yes.
It was very close. We're keeping you in mind for next season.
Holy shit. Oh my God. I act like I'm part of the show. I'm like we're keeping you in mind for next season. I want you to. Yeah. You know what? At this point, there is nothing that would surprise me. Every day just feels like if I could sum up my whole life right now, I'd be like, what is happening? I'd be like, great. Sounds good. I'll be president next. I don't know. Who really knows.
Well, I would definitely vote for that.
If I was, if I was an American citizen, I'm Canadian, I would vote and I would vote for you to be president.
I'm still Canadian.
Yeah.
I have a work visa, but I'm like my passport is still Canadian.
I don't have a green card yet.
I have a work visa.
So I'm just an illegal alien.
We love this for you.
I feel like it's like a long process.
When I was in Australia, I knew that people, when they were like getting married to Australians, that process was easy.
because Australia is like a bit easier but then like America or no it was harder it was easier
to get one in America I actually don't remember it was it's hard either way it's literally it just
was like years and expensive and I'm like I don't envy you guys I'm so sorry it's a lot yeah I can't
stop staring at this I'm sitting in my hotel room I wish I could show you I wonder if I can like zoom in
on my phone and show you what I'm looking at right now and it's it's bizarre I don't know if you're
going to be able to see this. Do you see that little? What is that? Oh, those are um and then there's
another little guy. Those are like mannequins for like sewing. So like someone's sewing something and it's on like a
seamstress body thing. Okay. But it's like, um, it's like for a kid. Like this big and that, but the other one,
you can't see. It looks like Winnie the poo on one. And then the other one, it looks like he's holding a
sword and he's like, scaring at me. Maybe it's dolls. Oh, I wish you could see that.
better i don't know when i was letting you in i felt like i needed to like like you know how
baseball players when they walk up they get like their like walk it up song i i feel like i would
be intrigued to know what your walk up song would be if you could choose one because kind of like
where your life's at right now you're just like nothing could stop me i'm all the way up honestly
that or like you know what i don't know i don't know if i put you on the spot yeah
That or something really opposite, like the world of color, like Disney, like...
I've played that.
Wow, you really nailed that.
I've, yeah, I play...
That was really impressive.
I played it in orchestra.
Oh, wait, you played it in orchestra.
What don't you do?
really do it all and math oh okay that's my horrible of math that's why i dropped out of engineering
i was like you know what i'd be great except for the math part which is the whole part right
which is the whole part yeah you you know your strengths and um you're really in tune with them
right now i feel like everything is just you know when you just are like where you're supposed
to be in life and everything just like aligns with you and the universe i feel like that's where
you're at everything that's happening i'm like yeah of course the jonas brothers are like
commenting on yourself. It's just insane. Like, what is happening? That's exactly. How did you when he said,
when he commented? Well, what's funny is I got a note from my manager that morning saying like,
just so you know, the Jonas Brothers or manager is like going to send you some of their popcorn or
whatever. And I was like, that's really weird and awesome. And then I see the comment later and I was
like, that makes more sense. Okay. Okay. Got I got. Got it. Like it was so, it just felt so out of
left feels for me it's there's i and i'm talking about it as if i'm like yeah i know i'm not
phased by it at all you you peed a little yeah i yeah and then we're like messaging in like
just dms as um i like typed and retype that message you really i had my husband look at it
yeah it's okay yeah it's like one sentence like hey jonas or hey oh my god what's his
Kevin my husband's name is Jonas it's all very confusing hey Kevin how the hell are you like
And we're just best friends.
This is so chaotic.
How the hell are you?
That is amazing.
I feel like you probably have some incredible encounters with celebrities.
Like when Reese Witherspoon reposted, I was like, okay.
Like, well, let's talk about your podcast actually because you, I'm so excited.
I'm so proud of you for launching your podcast funny because it's true.
Everyone should check it out, especially episode seven.
Yes, definitely episode seven.
Should have been episode one.
Who would your dream guest?
No.
Who would your dream guest be?
because I feel like you can really get anyone on your podcast.
I have a few.
I would love to talk to Jerry Seinfeld,
but I feel like he's going to be the hardest person to get on my podcast.
I don't think so.
I get nervous because, like, he is so standard comedy.
And I watch comedians in cars getting coffee a lot.
And, like, he has so much to say about how someone gets into the comedy world
that I would be afraid he would just, like, publicly roast me.
And I don't think he would.
Which would be kind of awesome.
It would be awesome.
I just, I'm like fragile.
So I don't know if I've like built up enough self confidence to like tackle an interview
like that yet.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Definitely Nate Bargettsey, Melissa McCarthy.
Allie Wong.
Like just all these people like I just anybody, anybody that I'm like you want to,
you want to have a conversation with me?
Okay.
Let's go.
Which who would not want to have a conversation with you?
And I tell everybody about what your podcast like why it's named funny because it's true.
like what do you guys talk about what like because i'm trying to picture melissa mccarthy on and i'm like i want to
because she's incredible and she's so funny but i feel like she's also deep yeah i feel like she could go
yeah i so the premise was that like i wanted to talk to celebrities and like people famous in the
comedy space about things that are funny because they're true but not always like slapstick like
oh my god this is the funniest thing that's ever happened to me in the moment like oftentimes
the things that are funny now are because we've had time to process them but in the
moment, it was like, this is the worst thing that's ever happened to me. And it's like really
hard to see that is funny. And so trying to pick out moments like that in these people's lives
that you wouldn't hear otherwise, because a lot of the time, that's not what's highlighted with
people with like people in comedy's career. But then trying to keep it really light and really funny
as well. And then I like to add like my own like VOs where it's like you're at my internal
monologue of what's happening during the conversation, which I feel like is so unique.
And I'd never heard that. That is really unique. Yeah, it's fun. And it allows me.
to not feel as much pressure during the conversation because if I don't handle something properly,
that's not it. Like I can go back and be like, you know what? I actually didn't mean to say that.
Or like, you know what? I actually don't agree with that, but I got so nervous. I just kept agreeing
with somebody. But that's not really how I feel about that. Like it's, it's just a great opportunity
to kind of let you into my brain. And then I start with like this story that relates to whatever we
talked about, which I come up with, well, it's from my life, but I kind of insert it later. And it just feels like
this ginormous mountain of like work but also like fun it's it's very fun but it's
I feel like it's a good outlet for you because you have like such a creative brain and so
much going on in there that it's able like you're able to use yeah you're able to use your
hour or whatever much time you spend on the podcast you're able to like get it out there
and say how you're feeling and explain things where honestly
TikTok, it's like not long enough on an Instagram story, it's not long enough. And you do these
little bits on TikTok and Instagram, but a podcast you're able to actually like explain yourself.
I think that's my favorite part is that the stories in the front can be longer. Like they're
not three minutes and that's it. Like what it's kind of a nightmare for my editing team because
I'll send them like an 11 minute story. And they're like, we can't use this. Like we are, we love the
story. But like this is like a four, a third of the entire episode. Like I'm so sorry. We're going to
This is, yeah.
And I'm just like, or we can keep it, you know?
Who knows?
We'll never know.
Because I have so much freedom to do whatever I want, I end up taking too much time and
we still have to cut it down.
That's always my problem.
It's just, how much can I take it out and still keep it myself?
It's very difficult.
I feel that.
Okay.
Let's get into Bachelor in Paradise.
You were at the reunion filming, right?
I'm not reunion filming.
I was at the party afterwards.
So I didn't get to.
to see all the drama at the actual filming.
But could you feel the tension between people at the after party?
I can't read social cues if my life depended on it.
And I was like, everybody is having the time of their life.
No, I genuinely, oh, well, I mean, unless someone verbally told me something, I was like,
I'm picking up good vibes.
It's all good.
Well, I mean, I guess enough time has maybe passed where from filming to now that everyone's
kind of like, it is what it is.
and it's a TV show and like we're all just like, yeah,
we're all just like going to get along now.
What went down to the after party?
Like what?
I tell us exciting stories.
Oh my gosh.
Yeah.
So I mean,
I could spend way too long talking about this,
but I was invited and I didn't know if I was going to go or not because I wasn't
in L.A.
already.
And so I decided to just fly in just for this.
Yeah.
Which is really funny because it was like a two hour party.
And I was like,
when else am I going to have this opportunity?
So I go and like immediately just meet these people that it was like when I met you.
I'm just like, I mean,
unfortunately,
I didn't get to see.
you in person and I would have fainted and that's the experience I had like you had. You had trust
fault. Right. I would have caught you. Yeah. Well, I met Danielle in my immediate thought is I'm going
to pick you up. I love that you just went for it. You just, but you did it. I will. I mean,
there was a bench behind me. And if there wasn't, that would have been a very different video. But
I like picked you up and I, we were like the same person and I got to talk to her and that was
amazing. And then I got to like talk to the rest of the cast and there was some cast and said hi to
and they completely ignored me. And I was like that makes sense. And like it just, it was so bizarre.
And then I ended up, like, spending the last half of the night, like, deflating all the
flamingos with, like, the ABC team in the other room because I was too nervous.
I was like, I can't make any more conversation.
I have to, like, have a break.
So I'm, like, deflating all these flamingos in the, in the, like, pink carpet room.
And someone's like, what are you doing after this?
And I was like, trying to find food.
And they're like, we're having a birthday party on the rooftop.
Do you want to come to the rooftop?
And I was like, sure.
I don't belong here anyways.
I might as well go up to the rooftop.
So then I see Andrew Spencer.
He's like, what are you doing after this?
I was like, go into the rooftop.
He's like, great, see you up there.
So I go up there and then I buy Rachel,
a bachelorette, Rachel a shot.
And then we send a video to her mom.
Great.
And then I love her mom.
It's just.
But at what point are you going to realize that you do,
you are supposed to be there?
Never.
No one's supposed to be there.
The human brain is not meant to process this.
This is crazy.
Is it because you have always watched the show?
And then to be, like, immersed in the after parties and see everybody in the human flesh,
you're like, this is just overload.
Like, I think it's a lot.
I think it's just being at events like this in general.
Like, like, like, you sent an invite to Nebraska?
Yeah.
Like, what?
And then I got on a plane and went just like, how did I do that?
Planes, that's a whole conversation.
How do planes work?
Like, and then I'm talking to these people that I've only watched on television, which now I understand being in this world a little bit, like,
everyone is just you're just people yeah but but my my my the smart part of my brain is like I get that
yeah I get that and the fan part of my brain is like you should pick her up like there's just like
there's no way to process it and then I'm just I'm just sitting there like lips sealed I'm not even
asking a single question I don't want these people to feel like I'm like here for like the tea
and then everyone's just like tea stop it
Like I don't I I need an NDA like stop talking to me yeah it just it was like oh my gosh it was it
It's overwhelming. It's overwhelming these events is crazy it's so overwhelming and then you leave and we're just sitting on the plane ride like like that all just happened that didn't happen yeah but it's funny too because you're not just there as like a fan or like a the people are fans of you be you're there and people are like holy shit elise meyers is here this is awesome like it's so funny because you're trying to wrap your
brain around being there as a fan of the show, but they're probably sitting there being like,
holy shit, I'm a fan of her, which is a whole other thing for you to wrap your brain around.
Like, make eye contact with me from across the room and like beeline straight up to me and just
be like, I love your videos. And I'm just like, stop talking. I can't like shut your mouth right
now. Stop talking to me. Shut up. It's too much information. Like my brain, it's
I don't know. There's some points in those events where my brain just has to be like,
I can't actually take any in any more information. This isn't healthy for us. Like we're shutting
down now. And I got to that. Yeah. Yeah. When we were at the rooftop, I was like, okay, I need to
leave to get some. So I just left. I was like, bye everybody. It's great to see you. I love it. I wish I was there.
I wish I was there to like witness all of that going down and just watch you.
in all of your glory and then leave with you to go find food.
Yeah.
I was so sad that you that you weren't there, Becca and Thomas weren't there.
I was like, I can't believe I haven't met you in person yet.
I like forget all the time we haven't talked in person.
It's stupid.
I want you to pick me up.
I want to pick you up.
Yeah, would you pick me up?
What would you do if we met in person?
I obviously would hug and then what would you do?
You're just such a little person that I just feel like I would pick you up and like be too
like rough with you.
And like rock me, rock me a little bit.
That would be nice.
I want to go out for like a drink with you and Jason and Jonas.
I just think that that would be the best.
I mean, we will.
It's going to happen.
I just don't know when, but it's going to happen.
You're staying at my house, the guest room is yours.
Amazing.
Yeah.
Come anytime.
You might not want us in the guest room with August, but we'll figure out.
Yes, I do.
If anyone knows me, they know my obsession with like I, I just, I cannot wait to like procreate.
I'm like, children.
You're going to be the best mom.
Oh, I just love it so much. And I'm like, my godson just turned one. And sometimes I forget he's not my child. Like I have to back off a little bit because I'm like, oh shit, that's not my baby. I'm calling him my baby. I'm introducing him to people. I'm like, this is my baby. Like I'm, I love him so much. And I need to back off. How are they doing by the way? How is it? L. August. Oh, he's doing amazing. I, we just were away from him for like a couple days to do something in L.A. And like I was when you were saying that, I was just going to say I was with, I met, um,
I've been with Megan Traynor, but I met her husband.
I saw that.
No, Jonas met him.
Anyways, I was with Megan and Daryl.
Yeah.
And they have a son named Riley.
And the whole time I was, I missed August and I just kept like playing with Riley's
hair forgetting like he's not my son because they're the exact same age.
Yeah.
And I was just like, dude, no, stop doing that.
He's so cute.
Oh, he's the sweetest.
Yeah, August is doing good.
He is like starting to kind of talk now.
He just dropped the binkie.
so like he's starting to babble more and I think we definitely kept it too long the binkies
so he didn't talk as early as he should have but you know we'll just traumatize him and he can
recover from it later it's fine I'll never work it out in therapy I'll never forget a therapist
telling me all parents will fuck up their children it's just on a scale like how bad and I was
totally that's really hard to realize like there's things that Jonas and I like luckily
August is not at the age where he's really remembering things.
things yet. But the moment that dude can remember stuff, I'm like, I'm sorry. Like, you know what?
I'm doing my best. I've never done this before and we'll figure it out as we go. But that's what's
so weird. Like, you just realized that your parents didn't know what they were doing when they were
raising you. And you're like, you genuinely were just figuring it out as you go. Yeah. Your parents become
exposed once you're a parent. You're like, ha, we are the same and we're just trying to like do our
best here. And you did the same thing. You have more empathy.
for sure. Totally. I feel like you have more empathy. Okay. So I really could use all the extra energy I can get this
holiday season. I'm lacking the energy. And I know a lot of you can relate to that. And that's why I am a fan of
drinking Spark. Okay. It's Advocare's best selling energy drink mix. And by far, my favorite go-to for extra
energy and focus this time of year. Well, all times of year, really. Spark is just the right amount of
caffeine I need for busy days, B vitamins to support my body's natural ability to make and
sustain its own energy, and neuroactive ingredients to keep me focused and alert. Now, I think you guys
are well aware that I travel a lot. And this is especially true during the holidays, as it is
for, I'm sure most of you. And Spark really helps with the early days and long nights, just trying
to get to all of the people I love, which is a lot. Plus, there's so much going into like the
holiday prep that I could use energy for. So I know Spark is going to make sure I can keep up.
Spark is a great gift for both the givers and receivers this holiday season, and it comes in a bunch of really yummy flavors, too.
I'm personally a fan of the white grape peach so far, but also I haven't gone wrong with any of them.
So grab a bag of Spark for someone on your gift list or treat yourself this season when you go to advocare.com slash OTV.

I was listening back.
I don't think it registered when we were talking, like how bizarre that was.
And then when you were like, yeah, and then he came back with a with a vest on and like stripper names.
I was like in the interview, I was like totally.
Super, super normal.
Anyways, your relation, like high school, I'm just like listening back.
I was like, this is straight up an episode of gossip girl.
Like she's just casually.
How many times did she tell the story to where it's normal to her brain now?
I know.
That was wild.
It really, oh, it's funny too, because.
that that relationship scarred me so bad in going into other relationships that I actually do
look back on it now. And when I think about it, I'm like, that is bizarre behavior that I went through
at 16 years old with my relationship. You just got that over with real early. Some people have to
wait until they're like 28 to experience that. I got it right out of the way. At the ripe age of
16 years old, just done. Yeah, done and scarred for life. And if anyone wants to know what we're
talking about, goal is no, at least it's because it's, I really went, I really went there on
talking about relationships and throughout my life. But I love your podcast. That feels like a natural
segue to Bachelor in Paradise, I think. That is the most natural segue ever to Bachelor in Paradise.
So I wanted to know actually if you met Wells at that. Was he at that party? Yes. And Sarah.
And they were the first people I walked up to. Someone stole my tacos from the party up there.
Yeah. And in the elevator. And they were the first people I walked up to because I tried all night.
to get tacos and people kept cutting me in line and these beautiful people. I was like just
enamored by their beauty that I just forgot that I was in line. So then Wells helped me actually
get the tacos. If anyone's going to help you get tacos back, it's Wells. No, no. He like,
he helped me get them the first time because the guy was like so, he just wouldn't make me the tacos
because all these beautiful people were like next to me like cutting me. It's just like in this like
business jacket. Like I would love tacos. And well,
was like, she had this girl some tacos. Stap.
The one they got stolen, I ran up to them. And I am so glad I met him.
That's so funny because I texted him this morning because I was dying laughing at, you know,
like the term for cock block. He said clam jammed. He was like, and then she got clam jammed.
And I was like, oh my gosh. So I said to text. And I was like, clam jammed. Are you kidding me?
And he said, what did he say to me? He goes, we did six different versions. That was the most PG one.
they went with. I was like, oh my gosh. Wait, I'm going to text him. Now I need to know the other
six versions. Well, I thought it was funny the, um, when, oh, Sheenae said, I feel like your cool
aunt. And then, and then immediately after that, Jesse comes and she's, do you, are you tired of
feeling like the cool and? I cannot with those fricking ads for people. They are like they're the,
They're my favorite part of the whole episode, genuinely.
I hated them, and now I love them.
At first, I was like, what is it?
But no, I mean, I hated Jesse's versions.
I was like, what is happening?
This is so stupid.
Now I love it.
Now I'm like, this is hilarious.
I can't wait to see what he says next.
It's so genius for them to like make, first of all, those calls for casting are super
awkward and pull you out of the show immediately.
Like, they make you, they remind you that it's a show.
You know what I mean by the casting call?
Yeah.
So for them to like push into it and have Jesse be like so random and just use content from
the show. Yeah.
It keeps you in it.
It's genius.
It really is.
It turned something that like was really weird into something that ties everything together.
I think it's brilliant.
I do too now.
I honestly like it took me a long time to appreciate what they were doing there.
And now I'm like, I'm fully invested in what you're doing.
And I dump his ass.
That was like my favorite.
It's so funny.
Wait, there are so many weird comments.
episode like I feel like your cool aunt. Brandon was like I felt like a father-daughter when they
like. Oh my gosh. It like there was a lot. There was a lot happening and a lot of it came out of
nowhere. Like there was a lot of relationships that seemed really, really good. And then they were
breaking up and all these people like they just word vomited all the things that they felt. And I'm just
like you had all day, every day to have these conversations. If there's any place that you could
have these conversations. It's on the beach, like that you have endless time. And then last minute
they're breaking up, you're like, you're not a man. You're not a man. You do TikToks. I looked. He only
has seven TikToks. Seven. I feel like maybe she got some bad information. Or we're talking about
Chenet. Yeah. Yeah. Maybe she got some bad information last minute. Like, and she panicked because I felt
so bad for him. I did too. That was rough. Yeah. Like when they were talking, I,
was like, I just felt like, I just felt like she had this, like, gut feeling and then
was like, what do I need to say to get to fully break up in this moment? And I'm going to push
that real hard. And I was like, we could have just said we weren't feeling it. I feel like we
went so hard into this. Like, you were like, burn that bridge down. Yeah. You're just like,
Chenet, like, it's okay. You can just say you're not into him.
Totally. It was. I was thinking the same thing. I was like, wait, just your, your word
vomiting just stop just say sorry it's not working in that you respect him but like i was curious to know
if you had any insight on like when those moments are happening has alcohol happened in in that
part of the day yet because it it looks like morning but i understand that when they're doing those
conversations it's probably like one one couple at a time and it's like you wait all day probably to
have those conversations yeah and i don't think time exists on the island of paradise or what is it it's not an
island. Whatever. It's a beach. The beach of paradise. I don't think time is a real thing there. So
like alcohol happens at all hours of the day. Yeah. And yeah. The cruise. And I feel like,
you know, at the end, they're like, I don't know if they're like, hey, this is your time to just
say how you really feel. Yeah. And then it just all comes out. And I don't know. But there's so
many times I was just cringing being like, well, don't say that. Like Genevieve and Aaron.
I'm like, oh my gosh. That was bad.
He tried to do the compliment sandwich like he was firing her.
It felt like he was fine.
Like, hey.
Thank you so much for your time.
Yeah.
Really appreciate your interest.
I wish you well.
I really hope for the best for you.
And when she said, when he said like, this is the easy it's going to be.
And the moment we had a fight, like you packed up and left.
Like that can't be basically your, your response to conflict.
Yeah.
And she said, then why didn't you just let me go?
I started crying because it was like a flashback to Jason the best.
the dad, right? When when she was like, you should have just let me go. Yeah. And I just was like all the
emotion where I'm like, it's true. Like he wants. And I know editing is so it's so hard. I know.
I watched this now so differently than I ever did. But like when she said, why didn't you just let me go?
It's like, wow, there's a lot happening here. He wanted, he still wanted that love, but he then
couldn't get over the fact that she was going to leave him. And I don't think he ever recovered.
covered from that. And from somebody that, like, is deeply, deeply afraid of people just
walking out of my life. So so much to the point where I will be like, no. I'm not even going to
let you into that, like, begin with. I felt that. But man, they were a roller coaster. I just was
like, I think it's for the best. Honestly, this is for the best. Yeah, I kept calling it a toxic
tornado. I was like, it's just too much. Like, there's so much passion which you got to love. But at the
same time it's like it didn't seem healthy and I feel like like when he said he could see her as a
friend I was like I kind of see that for you guys like I could see them being like bros if if it was
enough time had passed but then I've seen like them having a little bit of a Twitter war so I'm like
okay no they're not bros when when he said you're a really good friend I was like he he
thinks that her silence is her not understanding like I think he said that as if it was like
easy way to break up she was like so angry she was just staring silently at him and he's like
you know like you're a good friend yeah it's like no she gets it yes she's not confused it what's
happening yeah she's she's processing and trying to not like kick you right in the dick right now
that's what it made it put a lot of things into perspective from the party because I just don't
I don't I don't know anything that's going on usually and it was spoilers I don't have time my life
is just like is chaos right now yeah but he came up to me and I was like how
are you doing? And he was, never again. And just walked away. And I was like, so it's going
great. And then like Genevieve and Rachel, I think our roommates now. And I was like,
you guys want to come out to dinner? And Rachel's like, I think we're going to, you know,
stay here. And Genevieve was, everyone was like drinking and it was awesome. Right. And, and I was like,
there is something happening. Yeah. Am I going to ask? No. Not not a clue. I have no
clothes going on. I'm not going to ask. But something's happening. So then that conversation made so much
sense to me where I was like I get it yeah cool it's got it's all adding up now okay yeah there's so
oh also kate um what are your thoughts on kate because Logan was going to give her the rose
and they like also had some and then she was like Logan I love and it was like a whole speech that
felt like so rehearsed and I was just like it was really bizarre yeah that that that moment I
I kind of empathized because I was like I understand I would want
that whole thing if I felt like I knew what I was going to say to be like written down in my
brain. Because I was like, I would just start crying. I think if I had to say anything negative
on television, I would immediately start crying and walk away. So I was like, okay, I get it, girl.
Like you wanted to like remember what you were saying. And then the moment was like painful
because you like, I feel like Logan is somebody that as soon as he feels like he's being
disrespected he's going to shut down and want to like verbally fight back yes um which that's a very
human thing to want to do but he couldn't because like the cameras were literally just dead set on
like this two square inches of his face and she was like just giving this to him and it was really
weird because it again it came out of nowhere I feel like they were like really good and then
she just did that and it's like that I felt like that was like the common theme of this season people
like didn't say anything and then said everything all at once.
And it's like, what are you doing?
But it's interesting too because I was like,
this paradise seemed really different.
Like, Jesse dropped so many bombs like throughout the whole season and made it like
impossible for them to even communicate.
I also don't like that.
I know it wasn't up to Jesse, obviously, to cancel that cocktail party.
But like, why are you taking that away from them to have these conversations?
And then what it's supposed to be like, okay, here's an engagement and this is this rose
means like forever and together forever and an engagement and then to like take that away from
them for them to not have these conversations probably built up a lot of like the word vomit in their
bodies. I don't understand why that happened. Do you think it's because it was so close to the end
that like they wanted to save those conversations for the final one. Yeah. Because then it would
seem more explosive. Right. Do you think that that's probably that's what I got. But also it was
interesting like I can't believe I can't believe there's only two couples.
left. And I cannot believe these are the couples. I know. What is happening? Well, I can believe the
Brandon and Serene. Yes. Because they from the get go have just been like, it's us like together forever.
Signs sealed. Delivered everything. Victoria and Johnny, it's hard to watch because we know so much
about what like what is going on outside of what happened in paradise. Like yes. We know too much that
we're like, wait, it's so weird to like, do you root for them? Are you happy? Do you see?
Well, it's hard.
I'm confused because, like, did she clearly, did she not watch his season of, like,
being on The Bachelorette?
Because, like, he very clearly in the show was like, no, I'm not ready.
Yeah.
Like, so I don't understand.
I don't think she did watch.
Yeah.
I'm like, is no one going to tell her?
Like, and then when Gabby, when Gabby and Rachel came in, they didn't, they didn't tell
her.
And I was very confused because you could see Gabby on her face, like, when they,
They were all talking when the girls that came down, like, she was like, I want to talk about it
with her. But then Victoria was like, I'm in protective mode. This is my man. I'm not going to like let
anyone. And I know she wouldn't have heard it. But yeah, it was very, I just was watching like all
stuff outside of paradise, you know, aside. Like, this doesn't feel like anybody's talking.
It just was so weird. I know. It feels like us as the audience knows so much more.
information than they do and they're in it. It's so random. And also, what a throwback to have
Victoria on Paradise. I know that that's like that's what Paradise is for. Yeah. But I don't know why it feels
like she was on the show like 20 years ago, but she wasn't. I know. I know she's more like Danielle
always talks about coming out of retirement for this season of Paradise. But dude, but you and Danielle actually
remind me of each other. That was that so funny was when I was at the party and I picked her up and then
we were like dancing my sister-in-law just kept screaming like I have all this camera footage
and I'm like what why were you talking so loud we were all we had a drink and I think we were so
excited oh my gosh she was so we were also happy to be there but she's just like they are the same
person yeah she just keeps seeing that so loudly and I was like I love this so much like we we
I felt like we were the same person it was really really cool to connect you very pure souls like
dude it's it was yeah you two to
together is something special. I don't know if I could handle that in my like at the same time.
Like you talk about being overwhelmed at that kind of. I would just be overwhelmed with you two
together because it would be too special. What's funny is she so she reminds me actually of my
sister-in-law, which is how I remembered who she was and my, and they got to meet. That's who
was at the party with me, when I met that and my friend. And I made a YouTube video of like my
recap of the weekend. And I put like, I made like fact pages because I knew that the Bachelor
is like so specific that if you don't know who these people are, you're like,
like, I don't know what's going on.
Yeah.
So I made these like, these inserts of like random facts about the person and then like best known
for, but like not really, but like how I remember them as a person.
And I said like best known for reminding me of my sister in the law.
That was your best known for fact.
Yeah.
Oh, that's so funny.
Yeah, I have to send you that video.
I laughed the whole time I made it.
It's great.
Yeah, please send it to me.
Wait.
So you make YouTube videos as, how do you have time for anything?
You make YouTube videos?
Two? Yeah, you don't. Yeah, I make, yeah. So I, I was trying to do them like once every like month or a couple weeks. And this one, I spent over a hundred hours editing because I like just really get into the weeds with it. And I add so much with the editing that I can't do it every other week. But this one was very precious to me. It was a very cool video. But I spell, I will never sleep. I spell Jesse's name wrong. Oh, shoot. And I can't, you can't fix it. I spelled it with an eye. Jonas goes, you spelled it the.
the other way.
Yeah.
I was like, I know.
You know what?
If that's the worst thing that happened in that video,
I think you're okay.
You know what?
You're right.
That's actually some really good.
I feel like that's okay.
And you're acknowledging it.
And you know what?
That's,
I don't know,
do people notice that stuff?
Dear Jesse.
I,
yeah, it was a,
it was a really fun experience editing that together.
And also getting to bring my friend,
I was trying,
I'm trying to like travel with people.
Um,
because I don't have an assistant.
And I, like, want to, it's hard to feel safe when I'm traveling and going so many places.
And just having another person, like, being able to be eyes for me as well as helpful.
So I brought her with me.
And she's a, a huge bachelor fan, which is why I wanted to have her come because it's fun to experience this stuff with, like, another bachelor fan.
And she, the whole time, she was just watching everything like, and she was cool, calm and collected.
Like, you would have not known, you know, she just looked.
She's like, I have to, like, not be weird because I'm coming into this as a complete, like, just bystand.
I don't know, like just normal person.
And I was freaking out and she was like my like calm.
I would look at her and she's like, look, look, look together.
There's a photo of me and lace.
Literally, lace is like stunning.
Yeah.
Just like wind blown hair.
My face, I will show you.
Yeah.
I'm just like to see this.

Who would be on your Bachelor Mount Rushmore?
And let's leave me out of it just for the sake of...
Okay, well, I was going to put you on it.
So I just needed to hear you say that.
So that's good for me.
Okay, let's see.
It would be like Ben Higgins.
Yeah.
I'd just say that first because I have a huge crush on him.
Oh, is he your bachelor crush?
well yes and then grocery store Joe but that got awkward because someone's like who
I think Serino was like who is your celebrity crush and I said grocery store Joe forgetting
she was engaged to him I'm married and she goes so funny do you want to meet him and he literally
comes in on that I'm like that's not fair like you're supposed to be like totally never heard
of him in my life moving on and she was like do you want to meet him and he doesn't know I literally
just said this and then he pops it on the screen he goes hi and I'm like how
How the hell are you?
How's it going?
I can't even imagine because you like think about that.
Like I think about if I was like, oh, like my celebrity crushes Paul Rudd and then he just pops in the camera.
Yeah.
Someone's like, oh, great.
Love that for you.
Yeah.
I don't know how to answer the Rushmore question.
Honestly, I'm just like, I wouldn't need to look.
We're going to give you some time to think about it and then you can text me later and tell me and then we'll let the people know what you came up with.
Great, great, great.
I'm such a visual person.
that if their photos aren't immediately in front of me, they just don't exist.
Same.
And it's just like, what am I hungry for?
What I just ate?
I don't know.
Like, I can't tell you.
You are me.
I'm the same person.
That's so funny.
Man, what I would have given to be at that reunion?
Because everyone that I, every podcast I've heard about the, like, about the party and like
other people going after like the reunion, everything I've heard.
Everyone's like, it's so crazy.
I'm just like, I wasn't there for a reason.
They know it.
They know I would just pass out.
And then be like, I hit my head.
I don't know.
Sometimes I forget that I'm part of the franchise.
Like when I was there for the finale of Gabby and Rachel's season watching all of that go down,
I was like jumping up.
I was standing on my feet.
I was screaming.
I was like a fan in the crowd of forgetting that like I know how this works.
And like it was like I didn't know for a second.
I was like having an out of body experience.
Did you know that they were all like because Gabby was still with Eric at the time,
Yeah. They didn't break up until recently.
Yeah. I still want to know what's going. I'm seeing Rachel tonight for Dancing with the Stars.
So I'm like, I want to know what's going on with like what's her status. I'm maybe you know, but I don't. I'm like, what's going on with? I call them Raven, Avon and Rachel. I'm like, are they a thing? Like what's happening?
No, she was on Becca's podcast and she talked about how she went on a first date with somebody that was like just a in the wild, like a random person.
What is that? And all I heard was that he is different than anybody she's ever dated. And they, and he's in like the music business. And she was going to go on a second date. So that's all I know from following her as a fan on a podcast. But you got to get all the information from her. I'm going to. I'm going to. I plan on getting the full download tonight on everything. Do it. Yeah. And don't tell me. But just do that for yourself.
Also, can you please give Rachel a hug for me?
me because I met her and I was like, man, I actually feel like you would be a good friend of mine.
Like, isn't she lovely?
We connected really well.
Yeah.
She's really nice.
Yeah.
I felt the same way like, again, people get certain edits and I feel like they didn't do
her justice on her season because she is amazing.
Dude, I took a full like, I don't know, it felt like 30 minutes, but it probably was like
45 seconds and that's still a long time.
Yeah.
So like, I encouraged, I brought her a shot and I encouraged her and was just like, you're doing
a great job like you deserve to be so happy and you deserve to like find all of the love in the
world like you're doing a great job yeah i just don't want you to really like pay attention to
anything else like it just feels like it i could not imagine i have complete control over
everything creatively that i do ever and i still feel like it gets misinterpreted sometimes and i feel
awful about that that's my greatest fear is not being like is being misunderstood yeah that's like number
one fear. I literally could not imagine being on this show. You have no control. You could,
you could be the kindest person and it can get edited to be like this different storylines. It just
didn't fit with like what they, what the story was. And like, I just have so, I have so much
empathy like now fully understanding a bit more like what the show is and how it happens. Like I still
love it. I watch it. It's great. Totally. But I understand that not every.
everything is real. And I just don't know how these people are like walking around being like,
doesn't matter. You know, I'm like, I would not sleep. I know. How do you do that? Well,
you know what? A lot of them are walking around, but then they don't sleep at night. It's actually
there's so many ups and downs with it that comes with it because you're like, I get to live this
really fun life and have this opportunity and build this career and all these things. But then
people are always like, how do you not care what people think of you? I'm like, I do. I do care what
people think of me. Like it, it keeps me up at night if people think I'm a bad human. I don't care
if they think I'm got too much Botox. I don't care if they think like my face is different than
seven years ago. I don't care about that. I care if people think I'm like a bad human or they
misunderstand me. Yeah. That's that's my greatest fear. And that's too, that's like the difference
between like caring and agreeing. And I try and use that filter all the time. Like if people are like
mean to me, it's like I do very much care what you say. Like,
I do not agree with what you're saying.
And if I can have that ground of like, I don't agree with you.
So I just have to move on.
It's easier when someone's doing it about something that's not your character.
Right.
And as soon as it's your character, you're like, you're just like, maybe that is me.
You know, it's like you just forget who you are.
And you're like, I've never met myself in my life.
Like maybe they're right.
And, you know, the people in your life that love you that are more sane than you are because
they're not the ones being talked about.
They're just like, that's not the truth.
And you're like, okay, you're right. You're right. I know. It's really hard. I'll never forget
Heidi DeMilio talking about her two daughters and they have hundreds of millions of followers
and having that much noise come at you, you start to question who you actually are. And it's,
you know, that's why it's so nice. They have such a solid family because those are the people that
like ground you and you got to have that good circle of people in your life that really ground you
and know exactly who you are. And then they can like confirm and validate you for like, no,
this is who you are.
And you're like, okay, I have a lot of love in my heart for the D'Amilio family.
I've never met them.
But their show makes you think that you know them.
Like your show on Hulu is literally so good.
I love it from the first season.
And I'm just like, I just, I cannot imagine.
I can't, I watched the first season of their show before any of this happened for me.
And I remembered watching how much pressure and like attention was on those girls.
And I thought like, I would crumble.
Yeah.
I would never be able to do it.
And literally months later, a small fraction of that, you know, my life has become that.
And it's just like, no, I would.
I would.
This is about as much as I can handle.
Well, you better buckle up because I am convinced you're going to be on one season of
dancing with the stars.
Dude.
I just, I don't know.
I see it.
I see it.
I would love to watch you on.
And I just think it's-
I need to start training.
Yeah, start training now.
Exercise.
Start training now.
I'll take you to the ballroom and.
give you a lesson. Take it to the ballroom.
Okay. Are you doing candy shop? I was, but ballroom. It didn't really work. I was feeling it. And
it took me a second. Then I was like, I see what you doing. And then I stopped. Yeah. No, I was
picking up what you were putting down. Thank you for that. Yeah. Are you losing your voice for me?
Are you getting like, I am. I'm getting sympathetic like coughing in my, I never cough like that.
It's funny. Oh, I love it. You are just the best. I could talk to you all day.
But thank you.
I know you're so freaking busy and I just love that you take time to come and chat with me.
You have a way better sign off.
All I do is look at this time and I'm like, well, I know we're running out of time.
Literally every single episode.
I'm like, well, I know we're running out of time.
And they have to cut that out because I don't know how to naturally be like, this is the end of the conversation.
No, it's, it's some.
I do weird things all the time.
And I never know how to just say goodbye.
Like I'll be like, so, yeah.
And it's like, just wrap it up, Caitlin.
It's like the Midwest goodbye.
Yes.
It's like a whole thing.
It's like a whole show.
Yes.
It really is.
The goodbye is a segment in itself.
Imagine if I just hung up on you right now because I'm like,
you're like, all right, bye, bye.
Any hoops.
Bye bye bye.
Tudaloo.
Have a good day.
Okay.
Well, thank you so much.
I love you and I can't wait to have a drink with you in Nashville at some point.
I friggin love you and let me know near Nashville.
And honestly, you have a place to stay if you guys want.
Amazing.
Let's keep talking for 10 more minutes.
Okay, perfect.
So what are you doing today?
I always love talking to Elise.
And now I got a little bonus 15 minutes for you of the happy couple, Serene and Brandon.
Hi.
Oh, my gosh, the happy couple.
Okay, how are you guys doing?
First of all, just important questions.
How are you doing?
You look like you're smiling and happy.
happy? We're ready to be outside together. Can you imagine? Like, can you, like, what is the first
thing you're going to do? Go get a coffee and hold hands? Yeah. I mean, yeah, but I mean, we're
going to hop on a plane to OKC. So, like, our first, like, thing together is literally going to be
going to be going to have a little Thanksgiving airport. Oh, that'll be so nice. Where are you going
for the holidays? Oklahoma. We're going to Oklahoma City. Oh, amazing. Oh, my gosh. Wait, what are you,
Like, I remember getting engaged on the show and then we had like our happy couple weekend.
And when he was walking out the door, he goes, wait, what's your phone number?
And I was like, what is my life?
What is the weirdest thing?
Like, do you guys know each other's middle names?
Like, are you there?
Do you know?
Like, what was the weirdest thing that's happened to you?
And you're like, oh, my gosh, this is wild.
Yeah, no, no, we're, we're, we're.
Yeah, Brandon likes to let everyone know he knows my middle name.
So I know.
I know.
We all know your middle name.
Brandon, what's your middle name?
Wait, and Serena has to answer.
I want to hear it from her.
It's Henry.
I think it's so cute.
Brandon Henry, you sound so sweet.
Oh my God.
Wait, that's the cutest name ever.
Why is your Instagram handle B-Mac?
When I was on a basketball team, I got a nickname B-Mack
because after every win, I'd go to McDonald's and celebrate with like.
What's your McDonald's?
Hey, Serene, you tell me what is his McDonald's order?
Oh, you got this.
Oh, my gosh.
We both go in on some chicken nuggets.
every time. Yeah, you can't go wrong
with the chicken nugs. We can both
let her know the sauce. And there's a little snack
out of that. What's
the sauce? Sweet sour?
I like the hot mustard
and I've been trying to put him on that, but
he likes honey mustard or barbecue.
I can talk about sauces for this whole 20 minutes.
I've got you.
Okay, you guys were probably the least shocking
ending of the show in the best
possible way, but Brandon, you said in the finale
that you guys had overcome
every obstacle.
I'm curious what every obstacle was
because to us it looked like
you guys just got to have drinks
and take naps.
Yeah.
Oh, I mean, like every obstacle
like drama-wise.
So like, you know,
seeing everyone,
we're very empathetic people.
So like seeing our friends like cry and upset.
We're involved in all of that.
Yeah, we're involved in it.
And so it's like, yeah, we just,
we knew we were so solid.
We just wanted everyone else to be happy as well.
And so I think that's,
what affected us, like, obstacle-wise,
just because, like, why can't everyone else be happy?
It's, like, I think we were both ready to quit
at, like, different points.
Like, we're both, like...
I think you more than me.
You told you were...
I was like, I'm taking out with me.
Like, what do you mean?
You wanted to quit, like,
because you were just sick of seeing all the drama
or, like, the tears or people hurting?
I think I was just mad about, like,
it felt like a waste of time.
And I was, like, engagements are coming up.
Like, we need this time together.
And so that was, like, the hardest part in whenever we found out about that.
And I was like, you know, I don't even get a lettuce, take and bye?
Like, but do you think, do you think there's ever a world where everybody could be happy on Paradise?
That wouldn't make TV.
Like, if everybody was just being happy and no tears and no drama, it'd be boring as hell.
Yeah.
See, we found the recipe, though.
Chicken nuggets and a nap goes, like, a long way.
Yeah, when you're on four hours with sleep, like.
It goes a long way.
Oh.
Yeah.
That's amazing.
I feel like we wanted to see more of your guys.
this happy little relationship but again
I feel like there was so much going on this whole season
that I don't know where they would fit in
more content with you guys
but what is something that we didn't see
besides you peeing in the pool
that we would enjoy to know
oh I mean there's a lot
so we can talk about you know
split week when Lace came back
she said like all the girls were distraught
so I sent over a giant thing of ice cream to them
and that's green I know
and then gave it to her
So all the girls had ice cream
Because I was like, yo, it's gonna be okay
Oh, that's nice
How long were you guys actually separated
Like five days?
Something like that
Like it probably felt like forever
It felt like two Paradise Weeks
Also wait, I'm just thinking of this now
When you two met on the beach
There was like immediate chemistry
And it was like you guys were like
We finally are meeting
Was there some DMs happening
Before you went on the show
Like of like hey I'll see you on the beach
Maybe wink wink, L-O-L?
I mean, he was super obvious
about wanting to meet me
and so that's part of why it was so awesome.
Wait, on social media,
were you like, I'm looking for her on the beach?
Oh, yeah.
Like, while Bachelor was airing,
he was, like, reacting to the show
and, like, zooming in on my face.
I was like, hey, Clayton,
if you don't pick her, like, I'm down.
You know what I mean?
That's hilarious.
Oh, my gosh.
Isn't it such a weird world that we live in
that you can, like, say to your buddy, like,
hey, if you don't pick her, like, let me ever.
What are we doing?
That's what weird is weird.
It's like, normally, like, yeah, your boys,
you'd be like, yeah, I'm not going anywhere near your ex, my guy.
And then here it's like, hey, well, you got 30 of them.
So, like, yeah.
It's like we joke about it.
Like, he was with Clayton the other day, and he facetiming.
Clayton was like, hi, hi, ex.
Obviously, we know that things in paradise were pretty ideal.
You got the beach, alone time, naps, all the stuff.
But I want to know what it's going to be like,
turning to the real world. Like, what are the plans? Like, I know you're going to get married.
I know they tried to force you to do that on TV. And you're like, no, we're going to wait for
our families. But, like, what is the real world going to look like for the two of you?
Yeah. So, you know, we have Thanksgiving, Oklahoma. We're just going to. We live together.
This is our apartment. Oh, cute. Yeah, we rode trip to San Diego. And, yeah, it's sweet as hell.
Wait. Yeah. It's what's, it's hard living with someone. What's the pet peeves? Tell me the
highs and lows the peaks and valleys tell me what's good and what's bad oh she has a cat and I have a dog so it's like
I have two cats yeah so it's like one of the cats is like super excited to meet the dog and we have to like
slow her down and the other one's like no so that's like the biggest challenge we have right
that's the biggest challenge barf I was waiting I wanted like I wanted some juice there I was
that is so cute it's so cute it's so annoying I guess like that's kind of tough
like we have two different styles but yeah we wanted to like we only really brought our clothes in like my couch so like everything else we wanted to like pick together and make it our we're a normal couple but like I hate to tell you we get along yeah I know damn it okay well I don't have a teaser here to promote this episode then because we want the tea no I'm just kidding that's really cute what's your favorite thing about living together I think you know other than like waking up and like spending time together I think it's just like
finding that activity to do in like this quarantine space because we yeah we're like
quarantine totally hey what want to build a fort right now no we we did build a fort
how sweet how cute yeah we were trying to watch from scratch and then like we just couldn't
finish it like but but we were sitting under a fort and like eating like all we got we got a bunch
of wines we just got like a little drunk like just fun yes so it's like he's the go to the
room, don't come out. And I was like, why? Why can I come out? And then he brought me out.
He built like this huge fort. It was literally, why? Do you play the floor as lava?
No, we have you. We didn't. But we definitely should.
Next up, next up on your to do list today. Before you get to go in public. That's not this fun anyway,
Brandon. Yeah, Brandon. I'm going to play a quick game with you before I let you go. And it's just
rapid fire. So here we go. Who is your favorite couple on the beach?
beach? Michael Daniel. Yeah. Michael and Daniel. Yeah. Okay. What about ones that didn't end up together?
Johnny Victoria. Really? Oh yeah. I guess you guys had a bonding thing at the end.
Jill and Jacob. They were so together. Like, I wanted to see more time of that.
Okay. Fair enough. Who is the most fun on the beach? Rodney. Yeah, Rodney. That's a given.
I love Rodney. I love him. What is the biggest surprise of the season other than split week? Like when we were like, oh my
gosh, what? I think us
getting asked if we wanted to get married.
I was not expecting that.
That was pretty wild. Did, do you
think he actually got ordained or like
could marry you guys or was he just saying that? He did?
Really, no, you're kidding. And then
after the camera, someone, we were like, no, you're kidding. So we
entertained it. I was like, yeah, I'll get married
to her. Because I was like, there's no way you're
ordained, my God. There's no way. And he looks
to me to say, I'm actually ordained. Oh, shoot.
We were joking in our interviews,
I guess. Like, we were both like, oh,
like, I could get married to him tomorrow.
Like, and I'm going to look too far.
You're like JK, backpedal, back pedal.
Okay, as first timers on the beach, what surprised you the most about Paradise in general?
It was so hot at night.
I'm not a crap.
There's a lot of crabs.
Yeah.
And how hot it was?
Yeah, I mean, I'm from Oklahoma.
And so I was like, I can deal with this.
Like, it's, you know, really far south.
Like, it's 90 to 100 degrees every day in the summer.
And so I was like, I can deal with this.
No, it was the worst part by far.
Who do you most keep in touch with other than each other?
I talk to Teddy a lot.
I talk to Victoria some.
She's been really busy.
I would say she's been busy.
I talk to ride me all the time.
I think, I think that's probably the main one.
Most of the guys, like, you know, I'm in fantasy leagues with all of them.
So it's a group chat.
They'll let me talk for hours every time we talk.
Wait, I have a question.
is there still a chance for Andrew S. and Teddy?
I think if the circumstances were different, maybe,
but they're both like so over it.
Oh, the shirts have sailed.
Okay.
What is one thing you wish you packed that you didn't bring?
A fan.
Fair.
So, she was Genevieve have this fan and it was like on her face in the middle of the night
and I could just see her hair blowing in the wind.
I was jealous.
You're like, oh, dreams.
Okay, what's one piece of advice for those going down to the beach next season?
take it one day at a time
that's good
don't let the little things get to you
because there's a lot of little things
yeah uh jesse is a great guy
but he's the grim reaper he just has a lot of bad news
always coming in with bad news i remember
when when i was hosting the season you were on
i was i was like oh my god you're sending me in there every time with bad news
like every time i feel bad coming in to say something because they'll look at me
and they're like oh like you can't
Caitlin. But I remember we still dressed the same. So I was like, you know what? She's cool. I'm so mad. We never got a photo of that. We literally were wearing the exact same outfit. It's hilarious. Yeah. It was like same color shoes, pants, top, everything, head to toe. It was really a missed opportunity there. Well, I know you guys don't have much time. So thank you for joining the pod for this quick little interview. I wish I could have you guys in person and have wine and hang for an hour. But.
I'm so excited for you guys.
You're so cute.
And I wish nothing but the best for the both of you.
And I'll send you some wine.
I love that.
Yes.
Thank you.
Okay, you guys.
Have such a good day.
You as well.
Happy Thanksgiving.
Oh, yes.
Happy Thanksgiving to you.
Jason, we say hello.
I will.
I will for sure.
Yeah.
Okay.
